Transcript
- 0:06Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Richard Sherman podcast. And Mitchell, what
- 0:09Speaker 1: a game. All you new fans, make sure you hit
- 0:12Speaker 1: that like and subscribe button, please. The 49ers went down
- 0:17Speaker 1: under and manhandled the Rams. Mitchell, the defense, big question
- 0:23Speaker 1: mark all offseason, answered a lot of questions this game.
- 0:27Speaker 1: I mean, they looked like an entirely different unit. And,
- 0:31Speaker 1: of course, they did because you got Fred Warner back.
- 0:34Speaker 1: You got Dre Greenlaw back. Mitchell, that's the entire attitude
- 0:38Speaker 1: and demeanor of this team. You're talking about it just changed.
- 0:41Speaker 1: You can see people turning down hits out there when
- 0:45Speaker 1: you see Fred Warner and Dre Greenlaw heat-seeking missiles. Seagull
- 0:49Speaker 1: was out there. 3-6 was out there heat-seeking missile. Jair
- 0:52Speaker 1: Brown putting hits on guys all day. De Amador, Lenore,
- 0:57Speaker 1: Renardo Green played a really great game, had the interception
- 1:01Speaker 1: early on, and then even Jack Jones. Jack Jones almost
- 1:04Speaker 1: had him two books. Jack Jones ran a few routes
- 1:07Speaker 1: for receivers, looked really great out there. The defensive line,
- 1:11Speaker 1: big question mark. What were they going to look like?
- 1:13Speaker 1: Adigizua looked like the same guy he was in Dallas.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Very impactful. You're not necessarily seeing it on the stat sheet.
- 1:21Speaker 1: You're not seeing all these sacks, but But Stafford was
- 1:24Speaker 1: under duress the entire game. There were so many new guys,
- 1:29Speaker 1: young guys stepping up, making an impact. I know Romello Hyde,
- 1:33Speaker 1: everybody was wondering how he was impacting. He's a young guy.
- 1:36Speaker 1: He's going to figure it out. Grayson Halton did a
- 1:39Speaker 1: great job. C.J. West, a lot of guys played a
- 1:42Speaker 1: lot of great football. But Fred Warner, so great to
- 1:45Speaker 1: see him back out there. He looked like he never left.
- 1:48Speaker 1: But it's just an entire different defense when Dre Greenlaw
- 1:53Speaker 1: and Fred come together. I mean, it's like Thanos when
- 1:59Speaker 1: he has all the stones, Mitchell, in the glove. It's
- 2:02Speaker 1: just a different feel. It's a different defense. Especially, I mean, obviously,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Nicholas John Bolster, there was a lot of question marks.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Is he healthy? People saw a video. Was he limping?
- 2:12Speaker 1: Was he not limping? I don't think he is. He
- 2:14Speaker 1: was throwing people out the club in this game. Again,
- 2:16Speaker 1: a couple TFLs in the game. Did he have some,
- 2:20Speaker 1: you know, everybody has a little rust. But on the
- 2:23Speaker 1: opposite side, Mitchell, I was worried about the interior offensive
- 2:28Speaker 1: line for the San Francisco 49ers. And what a game
- 2:32Speaker 1: they played. What a game they played. Was it perfect? No.
- 2:36Speaker 1: But Kyle Shanahan drew it up and kept the defense
- 2:40Speaker 1: off balance with the screen game, with the run game.
- 2:44Speaker 1: With quick passes, Brock Purdy getting the ball out of
- 2:46Speaker 1: his hands. When they did get some penetration, when they
- 2:48Speaker 1: did get some pressure, he used his legs. He had
- 2:51Speaker 1: 30 yards rushing, and he looked incredible. Mitchell, he talked about,
- 2:55Speaker 1: you heard it throughout the broadcast, about his footwork and
- 2:58Speaker 1: how he worked on it all offseason and just getting
- 3:00Speaker 1: back to how he was his rookie year and just
- 3:02Speaker 1: being sharper, sharper than he was last year. And boy,
- 3:05Speaker 1: did he look sharp. And when he was in trouble
- 3:08Speaker 1: and it was third down, Everybody missing. We knew you
- 3:12Speaker 1: would miss third and Juwan. You know, we ain't going
- 3:15Speaker 1: to forget you, third and Juwan. But Mike Evans, when
- 3:18Speaker 1: you have a true number one, when you have a
- 3:20Speaker 1: big dog, big dogs eat first, Mitchell. And when you
- 3:23Speaker 1: need one, he's going to be there to give you one.
- 3:25Speaker 1: And he did that. And Depot Samuel, he came home.
- 3:30Speaker 1: He came home. San Francisco's favorite son has returned. He
- 3:34Speaker 1: put the 1-9 on. Mitchell got back in a little shape.
- 3:38Speaker 1: He just looks more grateful. He looks happy to be here.
- 3:41Speaker 1: He looks like he saw what the other side looked like,
- 3:43Speaker 1: and he felt better at home. And Mitchell, oh, he just,
- 3:49Speaker 1: when somebody's out there playing, and you can see the joy,
- 3:52Speaker 1: and you can see the appreciation, you can see he
- 3:55Speaker 1: looks re-energized, and I think he's going to have a
- 3:58Speaker 1: great season. Mitchell, he just looks like the guy that
- 4:02Speaker 1: that he was when he first got there. And I
- 4:05Speaker 1: love to see that he, he, he was in the backfield.
- 4:07Speaker 1: He had a 12 yard run. He's so, he's so
- 4:11Speaker 1: willing to help. He's so being so such a selfless
- 4:14Speaker 1: player right now. He's kick returning Mitchell. He had a
- 4:17Speaker 1: big time kick return in this game to get the
- 4:19Speaker 1: energy back in San Francisco. Well, it never really left
- 4:22Speaker 1: San Francisco side. I think the fans, the Rams thought
- 4:25Speaker 1: they could avoid a home game, but they didn't. Um,
- 4:29Speaker 1: He had six catches for 48 yards, a touchdown receiving. Yeah,
- 4:34Speaker 1: I mean, Brock Purdy and Deebo Samuel connection is going
- 4:39Speaker 1: to continue to grow. It's going to continue to be great.
- 4:42Speaker 1: It just looks right. Deebo Samuel, Dre Greenlaw back, Mike
- 4:47Speaker 1: Evans now in the fold. Those guys look like they
- 4:50Speaker 1: had unfinished business. I think Dre Greenlaw... Like he's already
- 4:53Speaker 1: said it a few times. He was like, man, in Denver,
- 4:56Speaker 1: I just was a different guy. Just what didn't feel right.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I was watching 49ers game. My kids were talking about
- 5:01Speaker 1: the 49ers. And now you're home. Debo, he was out
- 5:04Speaker 1: there trying to make it work. But then you came
- 5:06Speaker 1: home and they just look right. They went back to
- 5:09Speaker 1: their old numbers. And then special teams, the special teams,
- 5:14Speaker 1: you got to kick her. 56 yarder. I know he
- 5:16Speaker 1: missed one tonight. I still don't really know what happened.
- 5:19Speaker 1: You know, it may have been that Australian air just
- 5:22Speaker 1: might've pushed it a little bit, but Eddie De Niro
- 5:25Speaker 1: hit some big kicks in this game. I know he
- 5:27Speaker 1: missed one. I know it wasn't perfect, but he's still money.
- 5:30Speaker 1: And I think he's going to have another great season.
- 5:33Speaker 1: I think this, this is a stepping stone for him.
- 5:37Speaker 1: It's 49ers team is going to be a tough out
- 5:40Speaker 1: for everybody. I still feel like the Seattle Seahawks are
- 5:44Speaker 1: the class of the National Football League. But boy, if
- 5:49Speaker 1: the offensive line, they kept Brock Purdy clean today. Gave
- 5:53Speaker 1: up no sacks. They gave up 27 sacks in 2025.
- 5:56Speaker 1: They gave up no sacks today. They barely gave up
- 5:59Speaker 1: a few pressures. If they can play like this all
- 6:02Speaker 1: season and keep Brock Purdy clean and let him dissect
- 6:05Speaker 1: Mitchell like he went to med school, boy, I tell you.
- 6:10Speaker 1: But the real story of this game, Mitchell, was the
- 6:12Speaker 1: third down defense and the third down offense. I know
- 6:15Speaker 1: Kyle Shanahan, when he gets in that meeting on Monday,
- 6:17Speaker 1: that's what he's going to talk about. He's going to
- 6:19Speaker 1: talk about how did we do on third down. Mitchell,
- 6:21Speaker 1: they were seven for 12. How did we do stopping
- 6:24Speaker 1: the Rams on third down? Held them two of nine.
- 6:28Speaker 1: The MVP of the league, Mitchell. One of the best
- 6:31Speaker 1: offenses in the National Football League with the best play call.
- 6:34Speaker 1: One of the best play callers in the National Football League.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Two of nine. One of three in the red zone. Woo,
- 6:42Speaker 1: it only had 15 first downs in the game. Mitchell,
- 6:45Speaker 1: you play defense like that, you ain't gonna have Raheem
- 6:50Speaker 1: Morris for long. Football is back, folks, and you need
- 6:55Speaker 1: to change the way you invest in the NFL this season.
- 6:59Speaker 1: It's time to finally ditch your old sportsbook apps because
- 7:03Speaker 1: Polymarket is here.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Polymarket is a legal prediction market now available in all
- 7:08Speaker 2: 50 states. And those old sportsbooks, they're a relic of
- 7:12Speaker 2: the past. On Polymarket, you can trade on all things NFL,
- 7:17Speaker 2: from the Sunday slate, to who wins rookie of the year,
- 7:20Speaker 2: to who performs the halftime show.
- 7:21Speaker 1: We hear from listeners all the time about the sportsbook's
- 7:25Speaker 1: driving them crazy, trying to cash out live. They can
- 7:28Speaker 1: block you as often as they want, holding your money hostage.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Polymarket gives you the freedom to cash out instantly.
- 7:36Speaker 2: If the momentum swings, you sell off of it in
- 7:39Speaker 2: real time. You are in control. No one can lock
- 7:42Speaker 2: you out, and you can also buy in anytime. So
- 7:46Speaker 2: when the market dips, like if a team starts slow
- 7:49Speaker 2: and drops to, say, 40%, that's not a loss. That's
- 7:53Speaker 2: when you buy in. At Polymarket, you can buy cheap
- 7:57Speaker 2: and ride the momentum back up.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Polymarket is so confident that you won't go back to
- 8:01Speaker 1: your old ways that they're issuing a challenge. They're giving
- 8:05Speaker 1: you a $ 50 bonus when you deposit just $ 10. Sign
- 8:09Speaker 1: up right now with the promo code Sherman.
- 8:11Speaker 2: That's polymarket.us and use promo code Sherman to get a
- 8:16Speaker 2: $ 50 bonus when you deposit just $ 10.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Great to see George Kittle back out there. Mike Evans, uh,
- 8:23Speaker 1: Unfortunate news about Deshaun Stripling. We're going to wait to
- 8:26Speaker 1: hear that news. But Kalon Black looked great. A rookie
- 8:31Speaker 1: went out there, made an impact. CMC, Demarcus Robinson. What
- 8:35Speaker 1: a touchdown. What a touchdown to open this game. They
- 8:38Speaker 1: made the Rams, who were the paper champions, who were
- 8:40Speaker 1: supposed to... They were in the broadcast talking about how
- 8:43Speaker 1: undefeated season. Almost everybody picked them to win this game
- 8:48Speaker 1: like it wasn't going to be close. And I told people,
- 8:51Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't have the Rams winning this game.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I said it before. I said it early in the season.
- 8:56Speaker 1: I don't. Even once you got Aaron Donald said he's
- 8:59Speaker 1: coming back and you got Miles Garrett. I said, I
- 9:02Speaker 1: don't got them winning this game because Kyle Shanahan has
- 9:05Speaker 1: Sean McVay's number and Rams fans say, oh, you're just
- 9:08Speaker 1: a hater. You're just a hater. Do I look like
- 9:11Speaker 1: a hater now? Who looks right? I'm right. Ball knower.
- 9:16Speaker 1: I know ball. You don't travel to Australia the day
- 9:20Speaker 1: before the game and think you're just going to beat
- 9:23Speaker 1: a team. Not in the National Football League. That's crazy
- 9:26Speaker 1: to do. That's insane to do. And now, get that
- 9:31Speaker 1: factor in? No question about it. These are humans. These
- 9:35Speaker 1: are humans. You were on a plane 29 hours ago,
- 9:39Speaker 1: 28 hours ago. You were on a 15-hour flight. By
- 9:43Speaker 1: the time they body adjust, Mitchell, it's going to be
- 9:45Speaker 1: Thursday of next week. Like, I don't understand that decision-making,
- 9:51Speaker 1: but it was a test. It was an experiment. Everybody
- 9:54Speaker 1: wondered how it would go, but rational people kind of
- 9:58Speaker 1: knew how it would go. We knew this. team that
- 10:00Speaker 1: got there the day before would probably have some jet
- 10:03Speaker 1: lag even if they won like you would see some
- 10:05Speaker 1: moments in the game where they were sluggish there was
- 10:08Speaker 1: moments in this game where where uh miles garrett looked
- 10:11Speaker 1: sluggish where he didn't look like he had his legs
- 10:13Speaker 1: under him it was so many things i mean matthew
- 10:15Speaker 1: stafford was a little off in this game he wasn't
- 10:18Speaker 1: as sharp as he usually is And when you're playing
- 10:20Speaker 1: an offense with the 2025 receiving touchdown leader and Devontae Adams,
- 10:28Speaker 1: the 2025 most valuable player in the National Football League,
- 10:33Speaker 1: you expect them to put up more than seven points
- 10:36Speaker 1: against the defense with question marks. Give Raheem Morris a
- 10:41Speaker 1: ton of credit for what he was able to do
- 10:43Speaker 1: because that was outstanding.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Richard, I was letting you fire away, man. I can
- 10:47Speaker 2: tell you're excited. Huge one for the Niners. You did
- 10:51Speaker 2: have some question marks coming into this game. You already
- 10:53Speaker 2: touched on the offensive line. You marked that interior offensive
- 10:57Speaker 2: line as a concern. Obviously, they showed up today with
- 11:00Speaker 2: no sacks. But the other side of the ball, you
- 11:02Speaker 2: had questions outside of Diamador Lenore. What was the rest
- 11:06Speaker 2: of that secondary, specifically that cornerback, going to look like?
- 11:09Speaker 2: And they impressed. Obviously, that front seven was getting after
- 11:13Speaker 2: Matthew Stafford, making him very uncomfortable. But what did you
- 11:17Speaker 2: think of Renardo Green's game and Jack Jones' game and
- 11:21Speaker 2: some of those other complimentary pieces next to Diamador Lenore?
- 11:26Speaker 1: I thought they played outstanding football. They met the moment.
- 11:29Speaker 1: They dominated the moment. And they played in the absence
- 11:33Speaker 1: of fear. I thought Renardo's interception, it looked like it
- 11:36Speaker 1: was covered too. I got to see the tape. But
- 11:38Speaker 1: he sunk. He was deep. That was literally, there was
- 11:41Speaker 1: a play last year against the Seattle Seahawks where where
- 11:44Speaker 1: they were in Seattle and they threw a seven cut
- 11:47Speaker 1: over Renardo Green. And I remember Kyle Shanahan brought him
- 11:51Speaker 1: to pull them out of the game and like really
- 11:53Speaker 1: cursed him. And then to see this season, to start
- 11:55Speaker 1: the season for him to sink right where he's supposed
- 11:58Speaker 1: to be, to get the depth that he's supposed to get,
- 12:00Speaker 1: make an interception, first game of the season, playing extremely confident.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Jack Jones plays I've never seen anybody play like Jack Jones.
- 12:08Speaker 1: I mean, there are some great corners. And he played,
- 12:11Speaker 1: you know, it's feast or famine. But when he's on
- 12:15Speaker 1: and he's dialed in and he's right, boy, he's tough
- 12:18Speaker 1: to complete passes on. And he's fearless. Like a corner
- 12:22Speaker 1: with nothing to lose that always feels like he's playing
- 12:25Speaker 1: on house money is fun to watch. It's fun. It's
- 12:28Speaker 1: fun to watch him. He's running routes for guys. Obviously,
- 12:30Speaker 1: he studied and prepared for this game. Diamador Lenore was
- 12:35Speaker 1: really blanket coverage all night. They gave him an illegal
- 12:39Speaker 1: contact penalty that I thought was trivial. I thought that
- 12:43Speaker 1: Bernardo Green penalty. The refs are still... It's first game
- 12:47Speaker 1: for them, too. But I thought this secondary play great.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I thought Siegel, who was second in tackles in this game,
- 12:54Speaker 1: was literally making impact plays. And it's not always on
- 13:00Speaker 1: the stat sheets. It's not always... big, big plays, but
- 13:03Speaker 1: he was making his presence felt every time, regardless of
- 13:06Speaker 1: what the score was in the game. When he came down,
- 13:09Speaker 1: he hit and he delivered weight and authority behind it
- 13:13Speaker 1: every single time. And Jair Brown did too. And it
- 13:16Speaker 1: was cool to watch. Sports brings neighborhoods together. And one
- 13:20Speaker 1: of my game day rituals is hitting Grand Central Bakery
- 13:23Speaker 1: in Seattle before kickoff. They use square and it just
- 13:27Speaker 1: makes everything feel more put together. Quick checkout, easy receipts,
- 13:32Speaker 1: even loyalty points sometimes. The place can be packed, but
- 13:36Speaker 1: paying is seamless.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Square is a platform behind the scenes of so many
- 13:41Speaker 2: businesses you already love.
- 13:43Speaker 1: It's not just a point of sale.

- 13:51Speaker 2: and keeping everything moving.

- 13:55Speaker 1: deserves better tools, Square helps you sell, manage, and grow

- 14:21Speaker 2: There's no question about that, and you already touched on it.
- 14:24Speaker 2: The addition of Mike Evans to this offense totally changes
- 14:27Speaker 2: things for him. It gives Brock Purdy a reliable, bona
- 14:32Speaker 2: fide third down option to give the ball to, and
- 14:35Speaker 2: he was targeting them all game, especially early on in
- 14:38Speaker 2: that game. It's amazing to see what one player does
- 14:41Speaker 2: to an offense, but the 49ers and their faithful have
- 14:44Speaker 2: got to be extremely excited to have him on their team.
- 14:48Speaker 2: And then behind Christian McCaffrey, they take a flyer on
- 14:51Speaker 2: Kalen Black out of Indiana. Here's a kid that had
- 14:54Speaker 2: a very successful campaign with the Indiana Hoosiers last year,
- 14:58Speaker 2: helped take them to the championship game and ultimately win
- 15:02Speaker 2: the national championship. He comes in behind Christian McCaffrey, his backup,
- 15:07Speaker 2: and a lot of question marks lie there. What happens
- 15:12Speaker 2: to CMC? He had 460 touches last year. I Black
- 15:17Speaker 2: out-touched McCaffrey this game, 14-10 in carries, and he did
- 15:21Speaker 2: a great job. 14-65, to have a reliable secondary piece
- 15:26Speaker 2: in that backfield is huge for the 49ers. But let's
- 15:29Speaker 2: talk a little bit about the Rams. I mean, there
- 15:31Speaker 2: was so much hype and hoopla about this team. Miles Garrett,
- 15:35Speaker 2: Aaron O'Donnell, obviously McDuffie, Jalen Watson, the list goes on.
- 15:40Speaker 2: All these changes they made defensively, and Kyle Shanahan picks
- 15:44Speaker 2: them apart. As you said, Kyle's got their number. There
- 15:48Speaker 2: is no question about that. But how does this temper
- 15:52Speaker 2: the expectations of this Rams team beyond week one? Do
- 15:56Speaker 2: you think they are still cream of the crop at
- 16:00Speaker 2: the NFC? Or are you lowering your expectations with this
- 16:02Speaker 2: team after what you saw today?
- 16:05Speaker 1: I didn't think they were cream of the crop of
- 16:07Speaker 1: the NFC or the NFL in the first place. Mitchell,
- 16:10Speaker 1: that's why they weren't number one in my power rankings.
- 16:12Speaker 1: And I got a lot of criticism about it. I
- 16:14Speaker 1: got a lot of criticism from people saying, why don't
- 16:17Speaker 1: you have the Rams? They're the best team in football history.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Never going to be beat. They scored seven points and
- 16:23Speaker 1: gave up 27. Stop it. This is the National Football League.
- 16:28Speaker 1: You can't. It's not just easy to put. Hey, we're
- 16:31Speaker 1: going to add three, four all-pro players and it's just
- 16:34Speaker 1: going to work out. This isn't a sandwich, Mitchell. You
- 16:37Speaker 1: can't just put great ingredients together and think it's going
- 16:40Speaker 1: to taste good. It doesn't always taste right, Mitchell. It
- 16:43Speaker 1: doesn't always come out right. By the time November, December,
- 16:46Speaker 1: January come around, then they may come together like they're
- 16:50Speaker 1: supposed to. But again, Watson and McDuffie played in an
- 16:54Speaker 1: entirely different scheme in Kansas City. What Spaggs runs isn't
- 16:59Speaker 1: what Chris Shula runs. And it's different. Like, your opportunities
- 17:03Speaker 1: are different. The pass rush is different. The responsibilities are different.
- 17:07Speaker 1: They're not used to kind of sitting back and feeling
- 17:10Speaker 1: it out and trying to pick their spots. Like, I'm
- 17:14Speaker 1: sure when they talked about Mike Evans, covering Mike Evans
- 17:19Speaker 1: in a red zone, they were like, hey, we got Watson.
- 17:23Speaker 1: He's going to, oh, he's tall. He's lanky. Great man-to-man corner. Like,
- 17:27Speaker 1: it's going to be perfect. But then you get to
- 17:29Speaker 1: game day and everything that you thought changes. Mike Evans
- 17:34Speaker 1: takes it off his scalp in the end zone and flexes. Like,
- 17:40Speaker 1: you got to put it on the grass. Like, you
- 17:43Speaker 1: got to see it all come together. And maybe it does.
- 17:45Speaker 1: But I hate when people anoint teams before you play
- 17:50Speaker 1: in any sport. Like, Just like the Dodgers in baseball.
- 17:54Speaker 1: They're like, oh, man, they got every picture and everything.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Just give them the rings. Like, yeah, when they win it,
- 18:01Speaker 1: you know, because the other guys are professionals. The other
- 18:05Speaker 1: guys are motivated. And the San Francisco 49ers are coached
- 18:08Speaker 1: by Kyle Shanahan. And Kyle Shanahan is a fantastic coach.
- 18:12Speaker 1: And if a few plays here and there, he would
- 18:15Speaker 1: be one of the best coaches all the time because
- 18:17Speaker 1: he would have a couple of Super Bowl wins. But unfortunately,
- 18:20Speaker 1: things didn't pan out that way. but he's still a
- 18:23Speaker 1: hell of a coach in the National Football League, and
- 18:24Speaker 1: he's a tough out. And if he has his best
- 18:27Speaker 1: players healthy, if he has his quarterback healthy, his receiving options,
- 18:30Speaker 1: and he's losing them by the second, he's going to
- 18:33Speaker 1: be tough to beat. And they drove right down the
- 18:36Speaker 1: field on the first drive of the game, had no
- 18:38Speaker 1: problem driving it right down the field. They only got
- 18:41Speaker 1: a field goal, but they were at like the two-yard line.
- 18:42Speaker 1: They kicked the field goal from the two. So they
- 18:45Speaker 1: didn't feel intimidated. They didn't feel scared. I don't think
- 18:48Speaker 1: they felt like when they got the corners and made
- 18:53Speaker 1: all these moves. I don't think the 49ers, San Francisco
- 18:55Speaker 1: 49ers felt like they got that much better. And when
- 18:59Speaker 1: people say it, it sounds crazy because McDuffie is a
- 19:02Speaker 1: bonafide all pro. It's legitimate. Watson is a really good corner.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Like Miles Garrett is Miles Garrett, but this is the
- 19:09Speaker 1: National Football League. They're human beings. Everybody's been beat. Everybody's
- 19:13Speaker 1: been blocked. Miles Garrett is a little banged up right now.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Still got to get in the game shape, but didn't
- 19:19Speaker 1: get a QB pressure. Didn't get a QB hit. So again,
- 19:23Speaker 1: you have to remember, this game is played on grass. Now,
- 19:27Speaker 1: will the Rams be formidable? Will the Rams be a contender?
- 19:30Speaker 1: No question about it. They're too good of a team.
- 19:32Speaker 1: They're led by the MVP of the league. They're going
- 19:36Speaker 1: to be fine. But when everybody on the broadcast is
- 19:41Speaker 1: sitting there like, man, they may go undefeated this season.
- 19:44Speaker 1: That undefeated season didn't last a week. Settle down.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Richard, I should have done this earlier, but when a
- 19:52Speaker 2: team dominates like the 49ers did today, it calls for
- 19:56Speaker 2: an old-fashioned hat switch. And 49er faithful, wear it with
- 20:01Speaker 2: pride tonight. Much respect. Richard, before we go, I got
- 20:06Speaker 2: one final question to ask you. You're awfully excited tonight.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Are you more excited about this 49ers win tonight or
- 20:14Speaker 2: the fact that the Richard Sherman podcast officially has eclipsed
- 20:18Speaker 2: 250,000 subscribers on YouTube?
- 20:24Speaker 1: Mitchell, I'm excited the Niners won. I'm excited the Seahawks won.
- 20:28Speaker 1: The Richard Sherman podcast is 2-0, and we got 250K subscribers,
- 20:33Speaker 1: and we continue to grow. So make sure y'all hit
- 20:36Speaker 1: that like. and subscribe button so we can continue to
- 20:39Speaker 1: grow because this is going to be our best season ever.
- 20:43Speaker 1: It's starting off exactly how we wanted it to. Seahawks win.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Niners win. Couldn't be better. As always, we appreciate you
- 20:52Speaker 1: joining us. You could be anywhere in the world, but
- 20:54Speaker 1: you're here with me and my guy, Mitchell, and we
- 20:58Speaker 1: appreciate that. All love. We're going to see you next time.
