- 0:01SPEAKER_03: Let me ask you one question.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: There was no doubt.
- 0:21SPEAKER_02: You gotta give us a shot.
- 0:23SPEAKER_02: You know what I do?
- 0:24SPEAKER_02: North Florida sports.
- 0:33SPEAKER_02: Well hey! Welcome back.
- 0:36SPEAKER_02: It's the North Florida Sports Network.
- 0:39SPEAKER_02: It's the football Tuesday.
- 0:43SPEAKER_02: On a Tuesday.
- 0:44SPEAKER_02: On a Tuesday.
- 0:46SPEAKER_02: Just another football Tuesday.
- 0:49SPEAKER_02: Tuesday.
- 0:50SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 0:51SPEAKER_02: Where do you begin?
- 0:53SPEAKER_02: How about with stupid asshole coaches?
- 0:57SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 0:59SPEAKER_02: A lot of coaches.
- 1:02SPEAKER_02: They deserve to be let go.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: I mean, right on the spot, honestly.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: Dan Quinn, I'm looking at you, number one.
- 1:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: Get out.
- 1:15SPEAKER_02: Oh my goodness.
- 1:16SPEAKER_02: College?
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: I don't think anything happened in college.
- 1:20SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah, nothing.
- 1:22SPEAKER_02: Nothing happened Friday night.
- 1:23SPEAKER_02: Although the Red River rivalry was pretty good almost after.
- 1:26SPEAKER_02: Friday night.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: Friday night's high school football.
- 1:32SPEAKER_02: 400 yards on the ground.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: Is that all?
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: That's it.
- 1:38SPEAKER_02: But you had to lead in the first.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: Who cares?
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: Nobody saw it.
- 1:47SPEAKER_02: Whatever.
- 1:49SPEAKER_02: The commander failed to stop the clock to even get a shot at a field goal.
- 1:57SPEAKER_02: It's one of the dumbest things I've ever seen.
- 2:01SPEAKER_02: From top to bottom.
- 2:03SPEAKER_02: It's it's mind-boggling.
- 2:05SPEAKER_02: I've thought about it, and I still can't wrap my head around it.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: Let's start with the fact that Dan Quinn is a defensive coach.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and you mean it doesn't matter what side.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you give up a lead in the fourth quarter.
- 2:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that was incredible.
- 2:23SPEAKER_02: Jameis went off and he had that look in his eye.
- 2:28SPEAKER_02: He did, but it I mean, man, dudes were wide open.
- 2:34SPEAKER_02: Well, that neighbor's one wasn't wide open.
- 2:37SPEAKER_02: It was a I'm giving credit.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's a good throw.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: I'm talking about marching down the field twice.
- 2:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they came back and then and then to that's your supposed to be your thing.
- 2:50SPEAKER_02: Then you let the backup come back.
- 2:54SPEAKER_02: But I'm I'm that's that's whatever.
- 2:57SPEAKER_02: You could have won the game and you blew it.
- 2:59SPEAKER_02: You blew it.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: Doing anything in that situation other than you know Spike the ball.
- 3:06SPEAKER_02: Spike the ball.
- 3:07SPEAKER_02: Spike the ball, and if you want to run another play, run another play.
- 3:11SPEAKER_02: You have no timeout.
- 3:13SPEAKER_02: You don't run another play, it's overtime.
- 3:15SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 3:15SPEAKER_02: A play should be to stop the clock.
- 3:17SPEAKER_02: The clock's running.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: You stop the clock.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: You don't call a play.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: I mean, you're in field goal ranges.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: It's over.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: You don't need to get any closer.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: It's over.
- 3:31SPEAKER_02: It was just another football Tuesday.
- 3:37SPEAKER_02: On Monday, last night was a hell of a game.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: Again, more coaching and competence from a first-year head coach, which you kind of understand, but also a guy that's actually won a Super Bowl.
- 3:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 3:52SPEAKER_02: But incredible between those two.
- 3:54SPEAKER_02: It was a little bit, took a little while to get going, but they couldn't stop each other.
- 4:00SPEAKER_02: It was back and forth.
- 4:03SPEAKER_02: You think that you're alluding to the Bills not trying to stop the clock and ending the game with three timeouts?
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: Like I get it, man.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: You know, you have the lead.
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: But you want to give your defense a chance to make it.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: Well, that's that's my whole thing.
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: He knew when they scored.
- 4:26SPEAKER_01: He knew when Josh Allen scored, or when they took the lead with a minute and 39 left.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: You could see on his face, he knew he's like, shit, they're gonna score on us.
- 4:36SPEAKER_02: But you can still stop him or still try and use your timeouts.
- 4:40SPEAKER_02: As soon as they got in the red zone, you start taking timeouts.
- 4:45SPEAKER_02: But anywho, Josh Allen gets his first overtime win after another kick is missed by the the Rams.
- 4:52SPEAKER_02: Meavis.
- 4:53SPEAKER_02: He missed two.
- 4:55SPEAKER_02: This one was blocked.
- 4:57SPEAKER_02: But I I can't believe that the Rams ran the ball.
- 5:02SPEAKER_02: Got I think there must have been remnants of the crazy weekend that was, or just the aftermath of the game in Washington, just to alright, we're at least gonna get a shot at it, so we're just gonna run the ball.
- 5:16SPEAKER_02: But I I'm I'm putting it in Matt Matt's hands, and and he could just easily throw a touchdown.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: Dude, the Bills did not cover a receiver the entire game.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: Like the guys it is insane to me.
- 5:33SPEAKER_02: That's a tough loss.
- 5:34SPEAKER_02: That's a it was gonna be tough for either team.
- 5:39SPEAKER_02: And you know, it didn't end in a tie, unlike the Giants commanders game.
- 5:45SPEAKER_02: Uh wow, that was incredible.
- 5:48SPEAKER_02: Eleven catches for likely, eleven catches for neighbors.
- 5:54SPEAKER_02: It was incredible.
- 5:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the whole thing should have never even happened.
- 6:00SPEAKER_02: It was setting up to be a great Giants win and comeback.
- 6:05SPEAKER_02: And Jameis probably one of probably his best half or his best like signature moment of his career, maybe.
- 6:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 6:14SPEAKER_01: When you think of the bigger, at this point in his career and he deserved it.
- 6:18SPEAKER_01: The expectations of him.
- 6:20SPEAKER_02: But you know, it's the NFL, and you gotta protect the ball.
- 6:23SPEAKER_02: I I don't give the ball to that guy in that situation based on he's already fumbled it four times previously.
- 6:31SPEAKER_01: This season already.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: So I I'm kicking.
- 6:34SPEAKER_01: As soon as I get close enough, I'm kicking.
- 6:36SPEAKER_01: I know he missed he missed a kick.
- 6:38SPEAKER_01: I don't give a shit.
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: He missed three kicks.
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: I don't care.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: It's the NFL.
- 6:42SPEAKER_01: It's like, dude, if this guy goes out and misses it, then he makes my decision easy.
- 6:45SPEAKER_01: We're cutting his ass as soon as we get back in the locker room.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: I'm getting a new kicker.
- 6:50SPEAKER_01: But we're in field goal range right now in overtime.
- 6:53SPEAKER_01: If we make the field goal, he had just missed one, the game is over.
- 6:57SPEAKER_02: In overtime, though.
- 7:00SPEAKER_02: Don't care.
- 7:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I know.
- 7:02SPEAKER_02: And then, but he they fumble.
- 7:05SPEAKER_02: So that was that.
- 7:06SPEAKER_02: But then Washington goes down, gets it in field goal range, and then outdumbs New York.
- 7:13SPEAKER_02: Just the outdumbs everybody.
- 7:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 7:15SPEAKER_02: I mean, you thought, because there was we haven't even gotten to the London game.
- 7:19SPEAKER_01: No.
- 7:20SPEAKER_01: But I what I'll say for Jaden Daniels is, dude, there are freshman quarterbacks in high school that have more awareness than you showed on that last play.
- 7:30SPEAKER_02: I was gonna say, coach is whatever, Ben.
- 7:32SPEAKER_02: That's on the player.
- 7:34SPEAKER_02: That's on the quarterback, man.
- 7:35SPEAKER_02: There's no way.
- 7:36SPEAKER_02: I mean, yeah, they called it and they what do they gotta like?
- 7:39SPEAKER_02: And that's on the coach, too.
- 7:40SPEAKER_02: I gotta tell you.
- 7:41SPEAKER_02: You're on the coach, too, but still, man.
- 7:43SPEAKER_02: You're out there on the field.
- 7:44SPEAKER_01: If your first read's not open, chunk that shit out of bounds.
- 7:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, don't don't go down.
- 7:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, don't get tackled and keep the clock running.
- 7:53SPEAKER_02: Spike it.
- 7:53SPEAKER_02: You don't run a play.
- 7:54SPEAKER_01: There's guys running down to the end zone.
- 7:56SPEAKER_01: You spike like you know you're not gonna get back in time.
- 7:59SPEAKER_02: You just go ahead and spike it.
- 8:00SPEAKER_02: If you want to talk, you needed a moment to breathe, and the clock was still running.
- 8:05SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 8:06SPEAKER_01: And he's run, he's outside of the pocket when he starts to scramble.
- 8:09SPEAKER_01: So you chunk that shit.
- 8:11SPEAKER_02: That's the that's the bad call there is they shouldn't even try to do any of that.
- 8:15SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 8:15SPEAKER_02: And then he had a brain fart.
- 8:18SPEAKER_02: That's the only explanation.
- 8:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and it's compound.
- 8:20SPEAKER_02: So now now he's gonna be.
- 8:22SPEAKER_02: He was looking at a quick pass or somebody, something it looks like, and the defender got right in the face, so it's like, oh, I can't throw it because I'll I can't throw the pick.
- 8:30SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 8:31SPEAKER_02: Can't throw the pick.
- 8:31SPEAKER_02: Instead of remembering, I'm just chunking out of bounds.
- 8:34SPEAKER_02: He just I'm gonna run around and what?
- 8:36SPEAKER_02: Get a couple yards when we have no timeouts.
- 8:38SPEAKER_02: Like he should have just gone down immediately, maybe.
- 8:41SPEAKER_02: But him running around was just enough time to not get the playoff.
- 8:45SPEAKER_02: And to let the receiver, yeah, you're letting the receivers run further downfield.
- 8:49SPEAKER_02: Giants escape.
- 8:50SPEAKER_02: The first time they didn't lose a game since 1970 when trailing by 14 with I think eight to ten minutes left.
- 8:57SPEAKER_02: That's incredible stat right there.
- 8:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 9:00SPEAKER_02: So even though it's a tie, that one feels it's not a loss.
- 9:05SPEAKER_01: It's not a loss.
- 9:06SPEAKER_01: If if you're the Giants, you look at the fact that damn we fumbled and and oh, you came back.
- 9:10SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 9:11SPEAKER_02: That game, just look at the stat.
- 9:12SPEAKER_02: I mean, the stat I just told you.
- 9:13SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 9:14SPEAKER_02: You never done that before.
- 9:15SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 9:15SPEAKER_01: Ever.
- 9:15SPEAKER_01: For Washington, it's it might as well be a loss.
- 9:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 9:18SPEAKER_01: Your team, your record is shit.
- 9:21SPEAKER_02: Because you just got your guy back.
- 9:23SPEAKER_02: He made some big time plays.
- 9:25SPEAKER_02: You could see the electricity.
- 9:26SPEAKER_02: He can just take it to the house.
- 9:27SPEAKER_02: If you if you're on man coverage and you don't spy him, he's gone.
- 9:31SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 9:32SPEAKER_02: And he did that twice on the Giants.
- 9:34SPEAKER_02: They got to clean that up.
- 9:36SPEAKER_02: But what I've seen from them is they're they're gonna fight.
- 9:40SPEAKER_02: They do have a lot of heart, as Harbaugh alluded to.
- 9:44SPEAKER_02: And I like the coaching matters, and they got the best coach in that division by far.
- 9:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah, without question.
- 9:52SPEAKER_02: Without question.
- 9:53SPEAKER_02: If you go to London, man, what a game that was in the end.
- 9:58SPEAKER_02: It the Jags end up getting the win, but the Eagles blew it.
- 10:03SPEAKER_01: So stupid.
- 10:05SPEAKER_02: They kick it, they get the lead.
- 10:07SPEAKER_02: Or there are eight seconds.
- 10:09SPEAKER_02: No timeouts for the Jags, and they let them return it.
- 10:12SPEAKER_02: Tackle them with one second.
- 10:16SPEAKER_02: And the kicker makes the kick.
- 10:18SPEAKER_02: Incredible.
- 10:19SPEAKER_01: And like you said, Jacksonville had no timeouts.
- 10:22SPEAKER_01: Like, what are you afraid of if you kick it through the end zone on a touchback?
- 10:25SPEAKER_01: Or if you even kick it out of bounds and they get the ball at the 40, they're gonna have one play.
- 10:31SPEAKER_01: You guard the sidelines, you guard against the deep throw, they're not gonna be able to get to the line and spike it.
- 10:37SPEAKER_01: The game is over.
- 10:39SPEAKER_01: Like, literally, the only way they have a shot is if they get the return.
- 10:45SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 10:46SPEAKER_02: Because if you're thinking of that Cowboys Ravens game in the similar situations, the Ravens did have a timeout.
- 10:52SPEAKER_02: Right, they had a timeout.
- 10:53SPEAKER_02: Kicking it out of bounds was the bad play.
- 10:55SPEAKER_02: They in that in that choice, they should have tried to tackle him.
- 10:59SPEAKER_02: They wouldn't have been able to get that playoff and call a timeout.
- 11:02SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 11:02SPEAKER_02: The Jags would have had to have a play, one play, eight seconds.
- 11:07SPEAKER_02: I'm taking the chances there than a setup return with the guy with speed and blockers in front of him.
- 11:14SPEAKER_02: I'd rather have where you have here's the only thing you can't give up a touchdown or like a 30-yard out of bounds.
- 11:21SPEAKER_02: That's it.
- 11:21SPEAKER_02: That's all you got to defend.
- 11:23SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 11:24SPEAKER_02: And that just that that was a bad decision right there.
- 11:27SPEAKER_02: Incredible ending.
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Cam Little had missed the extra point, which was gonna be the deciding factor.
- 11:34SPEAKER_01: And then nails that 57-yarder.
- 11:36SPEAKER_02: That was a big win for the Jags as they're taking that division.
- 11:41SPEAKER_02: It looks like the Texans finally got a win.
- 11:46SPEAKER_02: The Titans are terrible.
- 11:48SPEAKER_02: They might be the worst team.
- 11:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:51SPEAKER_02: They might be.
- 11:52SPEAKER_02: The Dolphins are trying to lose.
- 11:54SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 11:54SPEAKER_01: The Dolphins are doing everything they can.
- 11:56SPEAKER_01: Not the Titans.
- 11:57unknown: No.
- 11:57SPEAKER_01: They're trying to get better and win a few.
- 12:00SPEAKER_01: Titans got a number one overall pick at quarterback while the Dolphins have one of the worst quarterbacks performances you'll ever see.
- 12:08SPEAKER_02: That he's he's awful.
- 12:09SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he really is.
- 12:10SPEAKER_02: He's still covered.
- 12:11SPEAKER_02: So I don't know why they paid him.
- 12:14SPEAKER_02: I don't know if that was some loyalty thing or probably.
- 12:18SPEAKER_02: You know, familiar familiarity.
- 12:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 12:20SPEAKER_01: Halfly knew him from Green Bay.
- 12:23SPEAKER_02: He misses the floor because he looks like a big thing.
- 12:26SPEAKER_01: Well, he misses the Green Bay roster.
- 12:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 12:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 12:43SPEAKER_02: Case Keenum got in.
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: We got in.
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: You should have started him.
- 12:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 12:48SPEAKER_02: That's what I thought.
- 12:49SPEAKER_01: Like, dude, after after watching what he did against Philadelphia, like, what why would you go back to the other guy?
- 12:56SPEAKER_01: Roll with your hot hand.
- 12:58SPEAKER_01: Gives a shit if the second string guy gets mad.
- 13:02SPEAKER_02: The Ravens keep winning the backup.
- 13:05SPEAKER_02: Huntley.
- 13:06SPEAKER_02: Told y'all, he's pretty good, man.
- 13:08SPEAKER_02: He's been there too, so they know he knows the system.
- 13:12SPEAKER_02: The offense, you know, the plays.
- 13:15SPEAKER_02: They had to play Tua.
- 13:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they did.
- 13:19SPEAKER_02: I mean, you know.
- 13:20SPEAKER_02: But just to be in the game, you can viable backup.
- 13:25SPEAKER_01: He is.
- 13:26SPEAKER_01: Much better than Tua.
- 13:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 13:29SPEAKER_02: And you gotta have that, especially if you're planning on making a run.
- 13:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 13:34SPEAKER_02: I think you need to have a guy that gives you a chance.
- 13:39SPEAKER_02: And that's what I when I didn't understand some of the hot takes out of New York about Jameis being he had to change it.
- 13:47SPEAKER_02: I'm like, have you watched his career?
- 13:48SPEAKER_02: He definitely has the upside.
- 13:51SPEAKER_02: Wouldn't you think that that's their best shot?
- 13:54SPEAKER_02: Is that just tapping into that?
- 13:56SPEAKER_01: Jameis at his worst is still probably at worst is on par with JJ McCarthy.
- 14:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and there's McCarthy gives you nothing.
- 14:04SPEAKER_02: The guy, and just no, I mean the guy was voted captain before before Dart was injured.
- 14:11SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 14:11SPEAKER_02: How many times have you ever seen that?
- 14:13SPEAKER_02: A backup get in the C.
- 14:14SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 14:15SPEAKER_02: Okay, so like that that's just gas bag city, man.
- 14:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 14:21SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 14:21SPEAKER_01: You know, they went and traded for a guy that was a first round pick, but that that kid's done, man.
- 14:26SPEAKER_01: He's not ever going to be anything in the NFL.
- 14:32SPEAKER_01: And I mean, it leads a lot of credence to the But before the Connor Stallions shit, man.
- 14:39SPEAKER_02: The only reason he looked good was because he knew it was coming.
- 14:42SPEAKER_02: They ran the ball mostly, so he didn't have that many plays.
- 14:45SPEAKER_02: And the plays that he did run, he knew exactly what to do.
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and college quarterbacks that look good in college, they it happens all the time.
- 14:53SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 14:54SPEAKER_01: You know, Greg McElroy won a national title.
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: Jacob Coker won a national title on great teams.
- 15:01SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 15:03SPEAKER_02: It was definitely a just the fact how how quickly Minnesota was get out of here.
- 15:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 15:11SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 15:13SPEAKER_01: For Carson Wentz.
- 15:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 15:15SPEAKER_01: And Kyler Murray.
- 15:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 15:17SPEAKER_02: It's like great.
- 15:18SPEAKER_01: At least we know what we're going to get.
- 15:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 15:20SPEAKER_01: So you know what?
- 15:21SPEAKER_01: These guys aren't great either, but they're not you.
- 15:25SPEAKER_01: So goodbye.
- 15:26SPEAKER_01: The fuck out of here.
- 15:29SPEAKER_02: So but they get it, they put them in there and they started running the ball because they couldn't run it.
- 15:33SPEAKER_02: And uh, and it was good to see the Giants' game plan shift and them open it up.
- 15:40SPEAKER_02: And I think that's only going to help their team in the long run know that they have a guy back there that can slang that thing.
- 15:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 15:47SPEAKER_02: And they can still try to run the ball, but just know it.
- 15:50SPEAKER_02: I think it's only going to open up the running game.
- 15:52SPEAKER_02: I think you need to run more shotgun.
- 15:54SPEAKER_02: I think you need to start moving the playbook just because Dart's out for the year.
- 16:00SPEAKER_02: So don't just try to force JJ McCarthy in there.
- 16:03SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 16:03SPEAKER_02: Because he he can run some sort of spread options.
- 16:09SPEAKER_02: That RPO shit they keep trying to because Dart was there and he does that well, but he's also throw it, and that's him and like JJ McCarthy.
- 16:20SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 16:21SPEAKER_01: Just because they did similar.
- 16:30SPEAKER_02: He can see the field better when he's in the shotgun.
- 16:33SPEAKER_02: And numbers span out.
- 16:35SPEAKER_02: You can run it out of the shotgun.
- 16:36SPEAKER_01: Oh, he can adjust at the line.
- 16:38SPEAKER_02: You can still just play action.
- 16:40SPEAKER_01: Something that they were doing less of with Dart.
- 16:43SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 16:43SPEAKER_01: You know, that's that's the whole thing.
- 16:45SPEAKER_02: Like that well, there was more of the read in the Dart game, you know, where you see it as the play even folds.
- 16:52SPEAKER_02: It's that Jameis was sit back and call out the blitzes.
- 16:56SPEAKER_02: Diagnose this whole thing.
- 16:57SPEAKER_02: He was getting the ball out, man.
- 16:58SPEAKER_02: That one that that one that Theo Johnson on that last drive turned around and was there.
- 17:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 17:05SPEAKER_02: And it was it was fun to watch.
- 17:07SPEAKER_02: He's he's the most entertaining player in the game, I think.
- 17:10SPEAKER_02: I mean, you Josh Allen.
- 17:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's it's one of those two guys.
- 17:14SPEAKER_02: Josh Allen just because of what Stafford, though, put on a show Monday night.
- 17:18SPEAKER_02: It was fun to see.
- 17:19SPEAKER_01: I Stafford still got the best arm in the league in terms of just putting it right on you.
- 17:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he's he's missed a few then.
- 17:27SPEAKER_02: I mean, last year that's he had his MV probably his best year.
- 17:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 17:31SPEAKER_02: So he like he had one in the overtime to his running back.
- 17:36SPEAKER_02: He walks in the end zone.
- 17:37SPEAKER_02: He kind of let it sail on him.
- 17:39SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 17:39SPEAKER_02: So you don't even have a missed kick if he does that.
- 17:44SPEAKER_02: But uh man, what it it so many things.
- 17:48SPEAKER_02: So many things.
- 17:49SPEAKER_02: And then these guys are getting paid so much money.
- 17:51SPEAKER_02: And they do so much prep.
- 17:53SPEAKER_02: How could these little things like just go happen in the game?
- 18:00SPEAKER_02: Stupidity.
- 18:01SPEAKER_03: You're fire!
- 18:02SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 18:10SPEAKER_01: You're not making the postseason again.
- 18:13SPEAKER_02: Dead man walking.
- 18:14SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 18:15SPEAKER_01: Like that right there.
- 18:17SPEAKER_01: It's like, Dan, I gotta run.
- 18:19SPEAKER_02: I gotta fire it.
- 18:22SPEAKER_02: You know, you saw what they did to Seattle.
- 18:25SPEAKER_02: But you're right.
- 18:26SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 18:26SPEAKER_02: You can't have that.
- 18:28SPEAKER_02: You need leadership.
- 18:29SPEAKER_02: Well, Seattle and Seattle is beatable.
- 18:34SPEAKER_02: You can tell the difference.
- 18:36SPEAKER_02: I mean, they're sloppy.
- 18:38SPEAKER_02: In that game they played against the Chargers, they had a bunch of penalties.
- 18:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 18:41SPEAKER_02: They won.
- 18:42SPEAKER_02: They gave the Niners the shortest field ever.
- 18:46SPEAKER_02: They gave them like four touchdowns.
- 18:48SPEAKER_01: That whole game was just one offense giving the ball back to the other.
- 18:52SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 18:54SPEAKER_01: And just don't screw it.
- 18:55SPEAKER_01: And then there you go.
- 18:57SPEAKER_01: How about Renardo Green, though?
- 18:59SPEAKER_01: Two picks.
- 18:59SPEAKER_01: Two picks.
- 19:01SPEAKER_01: Rookie defensive lineman out of Oklahoma looked good.
- 19:05SPEAKER_01: Grayson Halton.
- 19:07SPEAKER_01: And Mike Evans, man.
- 19:08SPEAKER_02: Still got it.
- 19:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 19:10SPEAKER_01: But you know, more players going down for the Niners, man.
- 19:13SPEAKER_01: Debo's down.
- 19:15SPEAKER_01: Fucking Greenlaw.
- 19:18SPEAKER_01: Idiot.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: It'll bite.
- 19:21SPEAKER_02: Certainly.
- 19:22SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 19:22SPEAKER_02: Eventually.
- 19:23SPEAKER_02: He he headbutts the guy without the helmet.
- 19:30SPEAKER_02: Jeez.
- 19:31SPEAKER_01: Charged up.
- 19:32SPEAKER_01: Charged up.
- 19:33SPEAKER_02: Game, man.
- 19:33SPEAKER_02: They don't like each other.
- 19:35SPEAKER_02: It was.
- 19:36SPEAKER_02: It was.
- 19:39SPEAKER_02: But Seattle's a little bit off.
- 19:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 19:43SPEAKER_02: Sam Darnold, because they went on that run because he didn't turn the ball over.
- 19:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 19:47SPEAKER_01: And I mean, honestly, man, if and Jigba makes that catch at the end of the game overtime, game's over.
- 19:53SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 19:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 19:55SPEAKER_02: I mean, he's still dangerous.
- 19:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 19:58SPEAKER_02: He just dropped one.
- 19:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it it happens.
- 20:02SPEAKER_02: I mean, I still don't want to play them.
- 20:05SPEAKER_01: No, I still got him winning the Super Bowl.
- 20:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 20:09SPEAKER_02: I I think the Rams are going to be okay.
- 20:11SPEAKER_02: But that was a that's a tough.
- 20:13SPEAKER_02: They've had a couple.
- 20:15SPEAKER_02: I mean, they were lucky to get out of that Philly game, too.
- 20:18SPEAKER_02: Their defense is is they could they could be one and four pretty easily.
- 20:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 20:25SPEAKER_01: Their defense is not good, man.
- 20:27SPEAKER_01: They got rid of their heart on defense when they traded verse.
- 20:30SPEAKER_01: Miles Garrett doesn't play.
- 20:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so they really they really need him, hopefully for their sake, that he was it was in the injury and he'll come back fresh.
- 20:40SPEAKER_02: Because they're gonna need him.
- 20:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 20:42SPEAKER_02: They're gonna need to be a good one.
- 20:43SPEAKER_02: I mean you got Aaron Donald back, but Donald's not the same guy.
- 20:46SPEAKER_02: No, but they he came back because he thought he was getting the best player in the league at the time.
- 20:52SPEAKER_02: So thought he could just get some single teams, maybe.
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: You got the guy over there in street clothes.
- 21:02SPEAKER_01: Like it's a pretty sick jump man suit, though.
- 21:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:08SPEAKER_02: That old school 90s track suit.
- 21:10SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 21:10SPEAKER_02: I mean, you see him talk to Josh Allen after the game, and you just it's ridiculous.
- 21:16SPEAKER_02: The guy is a freak.
- 21:19SPEAKER_02: He's incredible.
- 21:20SPEAKER_02: I mean, what do you do?
- 21:22SPEAKER_02: Because he can sling it too.
- 21:23SPEAKER_02: So you don't go man, and if you do, you gotta have a spy on.
- 21:27SPEAKER_02: I I'd rather just force him to throw it.
- 21:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 21:29SPEAKER_02: He's done.
- 21:30SPEAKER_02: That's your only shot.
- 21:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 21:31SPEAKER_02: Because he's shown he at some times he can make some questionable throws.
- 21:36SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 21:36SPEAKER_02: He'll he'll make a bad decision and just try to get away.
- 21:39SPEAKER_02: When he gets ahead of steam going, good luck.
- 21:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you're not scared.
- 21:42SPEAKER_02: Or make him give the ball to Cook and they can force a fumble.
- 21:45SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 21:46SPEAKER_02: Other than that, he's man, he's running the ball so well, but that's his Achilles heel.
- 21:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 21:51SPEAKER_02: Eleven eleven fumbles since twenty twenty five.
- 21:54SPEAKER_02: I know, but he's I mean, he's so good though.
- 21:56SPEAKER_02: When he gets going, he gets that I know flow and There was one play where the defensive lineman had free reign at him.
- 22:05SPEAKER_02: He just went Yeah, he's got the twitch wiggle.
- 22:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he's got twiggle.
- 22:09SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but man, you can't you can't fumble the ball.
- 22:13SPEAKER_02: And that's when at certain times in the game you have to just not give him the ball.
- 22:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 22:18SPEAKER_02: Same with Scatterboo.
- 22:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: Well Scataboo, like Scatterboo.
- 22:24SPEAKER_01: He's a glorified.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he's a glorified fullback, man.
- 22:28SPEAKER_01: Like I I know he's got some incredible runs where he just like bowls through people, but he he doesn't do what James Cook does.
- 22:36SPEAKER_01: No.
- 22:37SPEAKER_01: No.
- 22:38SPEAKER_01: Like you can forgive James Cook because of what he can do.
- 22:42SPEAKER_01: Scatterboo though, like, bro, you got a couple more key fumbles in you, and you're gonna your ass is gonna be you know driving a fucking garbage truck.
- 22:53SPEAKER_02: So Georgia beats Alabama.
- 22:54SPEAKER_02: I don't Alabama they got hosed.
- 22:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it was there was there's a few bad calls.
- 23:02SPEAKER_01: It wasn't just that.
- 23:04SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 23:05SPEAKER_01: And then the very next play.
- 23:08SPEAKER_01: Well, in the very next play when they got to SAG, it was it was a clear face mask.
- 23:12SPEAKER_01: So that uh It it just, you know.
- 23:16SPEAKER_01: You don't expect Alabama to to be on the ass end of that when it's in Tuscaloosa.
- 23:21SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 23:21SPEAKER_02: I I don't think, but in this new I still think they're probably both gonna make the playoffs, so it's not as big a loss.
- 23:29SPEAKER_02: I think you'll see them I think you'll see a rematch for the SEC championship, and that's not gonna hurt either one.
- 23:37SPEAKER_02: So if that's the third loss, that won't hurt him.
- 23:40SPEAKER_01: So what I'll say is is Alabama's defense um man, because Georgia, like that that's their style.
- 23:49SPEAKER_01: That's Bobo, Mike Bobo's style is we're just gonna do you know, ball control, nice slow pace, running the, you know, we'll take our shots, but we're gonna run the game.
- 24:01SPEAKER_01: And you know, they're missing their two starting running backs, and their backups still just ran all over Alabama.
- 24:10SPEAKER_01: So I I think you know, the only way to beat Alabama is too.
- 24:13SPEAKER_02: Well, yeah, Alabama got shut down offensively.
- 24:16SPEAKER_02: They're they're they're not Nick Saban's Alabama.
- 24:19SPEAKER_02: They they are score a lot, yeah, and then their defense can maybe put pressure on you when they get up.
- 24:25SPEAKER_01: And it's the first time that that Keelan Russell has seen a mixture of defensive looks.
- 24:32SPEAKER_01: The defenses he's played against have been nothing compared to Georgia.
- 24:36SPEAKER_01: So in the rematch, once he's already seen, I think it could go different because that kid, that kid He's good.
- 24:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think it's just it first time ever facing Kurt.
- 24:47SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 24:47SPEAKER_02: He caught a young kid in his first year, right, right.
- 24:50SPEAKER_02: It's the most talented defense he's faced.
- 24:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 24:52SPEAKER_02: You saw he faced a competent coach in Kentucky, but the talent level wasn't, so he made the adjustment over the half.
- 25:00SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 25:01SPEAKER_02: Which speaking of Kentucky, how about those?
- 25:03SPEAKER_02: How about the the Coronas on that coach?
- 25:05SPEAKER_02: Huh?
- 25:06SPEAKER_02: Oh, he he's yeah, yeah.
- 25:07SPEAKER_02: Great, great call there.
- 25:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they're gonna be.
- 25:09SPEAKER_02: Why are we going overtime?
- 25:10SPEAKER_02: Screw it.
- 25:10SPEAKER_02: We got a chance to win right now.
- 25:13SPEAKER_01: Oh, in overtime.
- 25:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 25:14SPEAKER_02: LSU scored and kicked the extra point.
- 25:17SPEAKER_02: They went down, scored, went for two.
- 25:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 25:19SPEAKER_02: Walk off.
- 25:19SPEAKER_01: You're gonna have to do it anyway.
- 25:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, might as well.
- 25:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 25:23SPEAKER_01: Screw it.
- 25:23SPEAKER_01: We're gonna win it right now.
- 25:25SPEAKER_01: The call, the call, the quarterback draw.
- 25:27SPEAKER_01: Great call.
- 25:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 25:29SPEAKER_01: And that's two weeks in a row now that he's won on in overtime.
- 25:33SPEAKER_01: That's Kentucky.
- 25:34SPEAKER_02: The their only loss is to Alabama now, so you got that little SEC.
- 25:38SPEAKER_02: That's an interesting team out there.
- 25:40SPEAKER_02: They Florida's and the Gators, wow, woof.
- 25:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean I did not see this bad coming, but I guess what we saw in the beginning was a little bit of kind of kind of like you.
- 25:54SPEAKER_01: I heard like I said, old man, the old miss game for Buster Faulkner was kind of like our Alabama game last year for Gus Malzon.
- 26:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he emptied the bag and showed everything he's got.
- 26:07SPEAKER_01: South Carolina came in, and South Carolina's been playing really bad.
- 26:11SPEAKER_02: They have talent.
- 26:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 26:13SPEAKER_02: I've been hearing about that quarterback.
- 26:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 26:15SPEAKER_01: The quarterback, uh Dylan's what what's the guy's name?
- 26:18SPEAKER_01: The the defensive end.
- 26:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 26:20SPEAKER_01: I can't remember his name, but he's you know supposed to be a first round pick.
- 26:24SPEAKER_01: I Dylan Stewart.
- 26:27SPEAKER_01: Um but dude, they they made the quarterback for Florida have to throw the ball.
- 26:33SPEAKER_01: And that's you know, that's the recipe.
- 26:36SPEAKER_01: They they shut ball down and they they really didn't have any answer, man.
- 26:41SPEAKER_01: And I'm I'm gonna be honest, like, you know, getting your ass kicked on the road at Louisville 44 to 20 is embarrassing.
- 26:47SPEAKER_01: 400 yards, but I I would put being beaten at home in the swamp 38 to 19 by Shane Beamer.
- 26:56SPEAKER_01: Oh is right.
- 26:58SPEAKER_02: Well, that's a that's a tough one based on just a lot of people what they're saying.
- 27:04SPEAKER_02: You have Nick Sabens saying they're one of the best teams in the country.
- 27:07SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 27:07SPEAKER_01: Shoot, they looked like wow.
- 27:10SPEAKER_01: They looked great against Ole Miss.
- 27:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 27:13SPEAKER_01: They did.
- 27:13SPEAKER_01: Their offense looked great.
- 27:15SPEAKER_01: Against Missouri, against South Carolina, they have looked bad.
- 27:20SPEAKER_02: Now they have they gotta play the Longhorns next.
- 27:22SPEAKER_02: Coming off a long time.
- 27:23SPEAKER_02: They gotta play Kentucky.
- 27:25SPEAKER_01: Right, still gotta play Kentucky, still gotta play Georgia.
- 27:27SPEAKER_02: Georgia.
- 27:28SPEAKER_02: So they're gonna be looking that uh that game at the end of the year might be for a bowl game.
- 27:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, those those uh those two losses for Florida were against the teams that they were supposed to like kind of be lighter work on the schedule in terms of the SEC opponents.
- 27:48SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be right now.
- 27:52SPEAKER_02: Georgia's number one, whatever.
- 27:54SPEAKER_02: Georgia, Miami, Notre Dame are your three best teams.
- 27:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 27:59SPEAKER_02: Miami and Notre Dame play each other.
- 28:02SPEAKER_02: And we'll find out, we'll find out more about Notre Dame.
- 28:07SPEAKER_02: Notre Dame's got to play at BYU this weekend.
- 28:10SPEAKER_02: They're gonna win.
- 28:11SPEAKER_02: Probably.
- 28:11SPEAKER_02: They're gonna win.
- 28:12SPEAKER_02: The only team they're gonna lose to maybe is Miami, and the only team Miami's gonna lose to maybe is Notre Dame.
- 28:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 28:17SPEAKER_02: And uh they're gonna win the rest of their games.
- 28:19SPEAKER_02: So they're both in.
- 28:20SPEAKER_01: They'll both in.
- 28:21SPEAKER_01: They'll be top four seed.
- 28:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 28:23SPEAKER_01: Um the winner of the SEC will most likely be one seed.
- 28:28SPEAKER_02: It looks like Georgia's gonna get it.
- 28:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 28:30SPEAKER_02: I mean, unless they get upset, but I don't see anybody else beating him.
- 28:33SPEAKER_01: No, I don't.
- 28:34SPEAKER_01: I don't either.
- 28:35SPEAKER_01: If they stay healthy, I mean you if Stockton stays healthy, they stay healthy on defense.
- 28:39SPEAKER_02: I mean, I think they've so you'll it'll be you'll be fun to see what happens in the SEC in in terms of those last few teams they're gonna get in.
- 28:49SPEAKER_02: Right, because after after Georgia and Alabama, right, Kentucky.
- 28:53SPEAKER_01: Um still alive.
- 28:59SPEAKER_01: I I LSU you could probably circle them as being out.
- 29:03SPEAKER_01: They're out.
- 29:03SPEAKER_02: You know, Texas is obviously still gonna they're still alive, but I'll tell you what, man.
- 29:10SPEAKER_02: That was a bad loss.
- 29:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Arch is not that good.
- 29:16SPEAKER_01: He makes some questionable decisions.
- 29:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that that interception at that interception at the end of the game to you know to to give Oklahoma a chance.
- 29:28SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 29:29SPEAKER_02: You just can't do that.
- 29:30SPEAKER_02: Nobody from the ACC is getting in besides Miami.
- 29:34SPEAKER_02: There's no chance, right?
- 29:36SPEAKER_02: No, no, unless SMU wins out, maybe, and beats Miami.
- 29:41SPEAKER_01: But they they won't.
- 29:42SPEAKER_01: Um the only team that I could see winning out in the ACC would be a team that Miami's already played in Wake Forest because their schedule is just dog shit.
- 29:53SPEAKER_01: That's true.
- 29:53SPEAKER_02: But they they look good and they they can't they went into they won handily in in uh Carter Finley.
- 30:00SPEAKER_01: Right, tied at halftime at 14.
- 30:02SPEAKER_02: Something Louisville couldn't do, and that's a team that I thought.
- 30:05SPEAKER_02: Wake beat challenge.
- 30:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I know that that Louis you saw when Louisville whooped the crap out of Florida State, but you saw the talent they have.
- 30:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 30:16SPEAKER_02: And all the losses they had were by one loss.
- 30:20SPEAKER_02: That's the team that I thought might give Miami the most trouble, but they're not gonna get there.
- 30:24SPEAKER_01: No, they won't get there.
- 30:25SPEAKER_01: And Louisville's defense is not good.
- 30:27SPEAKER_02: I know, I know it's I know it would have to be a shootout.
- 30:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 30:30SPEAKER_02: They have guys that can score.
- 30:32SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 30:33SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 30:34SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 30:34SPEAKER_01: And Brian Brom has always been a great offensive coach.
- 30:37SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 30:38SPEAKER_01: And that that's kind of, you know.
- 30:40SPEAKER_02: And the Big Ten, Iowa, big win in Washington, right back on track.
- 30:44SPEAKER_02: Like look just like we said, just you beat Michigan, you lost to Ohio State, win the rest of them, you're in.
- 30:50SPEAKER_02: Watch out for the undefeated Bruins.
- 30:52SPEAKER_02: And UCLA, although they lose their starting quarterback.
- 30:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I know, I know.
- 30:56SPEAKER_02: But they go, they beat Oregon, who's out.
- 30:59SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 31:00SPEAKER_01: And UCLA is their offense is all about that running game.
- 31:04SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 31:04SPEAKER_01: And they play defense.
- 31:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 31:07SPEAKER_01: I mean, they they play some real defense.
- 31:10SPEAKER_01: Um it's gonna be there's teams USC is still alive.
- 31:15SPEAKER_01: One loss.
- 31:16SPEAKER_01: I mean, I don't expect either of those teams to to only lose one or you know, for UCLA to go undefeated.
- 31:24SPEAKER_01: Um, somebody will lose this week, Indiana, Ohio State.
- 31:28SPEAKER_01: That's gonna be interesting.
- 31:30SPEAKER_01: What happens if Indiana pulls off the shocker?
- 31:33SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 31:33SPEAKER_01: And you got the Buckeye sitting there with two losses.
- 31:37SPEAKER_01: If they win out, they'll get in.
- 31:38SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 31:40SPEAKER_01: But that that you know, the Big Ten's kind of eating each other alive.
- 31:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 31:45SPEAKER_02: Yep, they are.
- 31:47SPEAKER_02: And but the the the the problem this year is you don't have that SMU team out of the ACC like you did.
