  Speaker 1: Hi, Hi, Chelsea.
• 0:02
Speaker 2: Hi, Hi, Hi. I'm very very vibrant this morning.
• 0:05
  Speaker 3: Oh yeah, because I haven't had a drink for a
• 0:08
Speaker 3: couple of days, and I just feel so much better.
• 0:10
  Speaker 2: When I don't drink.
• 0:11
Speaker 3: But obviously that's not gonna last, so I try and
• 0:14
Speaker 3: take a couple down days, you know. But I mean
• 0:16
Speaker 3: with summertime, it's just very difficult. Too many social engagements,
• 0:19
Speaker 3: too much traveling. The most amount of time I spend
• 0:23
Speaker 3: sober is probably on an airplane.
• 0:26
Speaker 2: I don't like to drink on planes.
• 0:28
Speaker 1: It does make you feel extra yacky when you get
• 0:29
  Speaker 1: off the plane.
• 0:30
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I don't like to mess with that.
• 0:32
Speaker 3: I like to get on a plane, take a Xanax,
• 0:34
Speaker 3: go to sleep, wake up, and feel fresh as a daisy.
• 0:36
Speaker 1: Ooh, that's the way to do it. I once took
• 0:38
Speaker 1: an adavan on a flight and like watched an entire
• 0:41
Speaker 1: movie for good. I watched the movie.
• 0:43
Speaker 2: Welcome to My Whole fucking Life. I don't even so.
• 0:46
Speaker 3: I've watched entire series and not remembered that I've seen
• 0:49
Speaker 3: them until like rewatching.
• 0:50
Speaker 2: Them in three episodes in Yeah, I'm a hot mess.
• 0:53
Speaker 3: Sometimes I'm like half asleep, you know. I like to
• 0:56
Speaker 3: fall asleep to television. I know they say, don't do that,
• 0:58
Speaker 3: but I got this.
• 0:59
Speaker 2: Amazing those Court's face mask that I sleep on. Is
• 1:03
Speaker 2: it cold, Well, it feels cold.
• 1:05
Speaker 3: It gets warm in the night, but it's like just
• 1:07
Speaker 3: because it's crystals. So I have a full face one
• 1:09
Speaker 3: and I have a half face one. I've been sleeping
• 1:11
Speaker 3: with that and any under eye puffiness or swelling or
• 1:15
Speaker 3: anything like that, it just gets everything out. So I've
• 1:18
Speaker 3: been I'm really into that lately. Anyway, I go to
• 1:21
Speaker 3: sleep with the TV on, I put on my rose
• 1:23
Speaker 3: Quartz mask, and then eventually I turned.
• 1:25
  Speaker 2: The TV off.
• 1:26
  Speaker 1: I love it.
• 1:27
Speaker 2: I mean, who's paying attention to television anymore? Anyway?
• 1:29
Speaker 3: I mean it's so hard to pay attention to anything
• 1:31
Speaker 3: because we all have such add adhd add by all
• 1:34
Speaker 3: the bipolar disorder, multiple personality borderline. Anyway, Okay, guys, we
• 1:42
Speaker 3: have added more shows to my Little Big Bitch tour

Speaker 3: the year. We added a second show in Boston at

Speaker 3: New York, August twenty six.

Speaker 2: Thank you. Get your tickets at Chelseahandler dot com.
• 2:43
Speaker 1: Chelsea. Have you always believed in something beyond our physical world,
• 2:48
Speaker 1: like what we can't see sort of thing, maybe not
• 2:51
Speaker 1: a higher power, but an afterlife?
• 2:53
  Speaker 3: I mean, I guess, yeah, I know, I mean I
• 2:55
Speaker 3: hoped so right, Like I think when I was younger,
• 2:58
Speaker 3: I believed in God because that was instilled in me
• 3:00
Speaker 3: that there was a God. And then as I became
• 3:03
Speaker 3: in my teens, I was questioning it a lot, but
• 3:07
Speaker 3: always kind of I've always felt like there's something personally
• 3:11
Speaker 3: like watching over me, like protecting me. Like I've always
• 3:14
Speaker 3: felt like, oh, there's something protecting me, there's something steering me.
• 3:17
Speaker 3: I'm accountable to this invisible eye in the sky. So
• 3:20
Speaker 3: when there's a choice to make the good decision or
• 3:22
Speaker 3: the bad decision, I always make the good one because
• 3:24
  Speaker 3: I feel like I there's a witness Meanwhile, that's like
• 3:27
Speaker 3: a fantasy. But as I've grown older, and I think
• 3:29
Speaker 3: my brother's death and my mother's death makes me believe
• 3:32
Speaker 3: in mysticism makes me believe in the other. I believe
• 3:35
Speaker 3: there is a universal intelligence. The more that I've read
• 3:38
Speaker 3: and discovered, and then therapy also really made me. I
• 3:42
Speaker 3: always went to psychics and stuff because I like that
• 3:44
Speaker 3: kind of stuff. Yeah, but I never necessarily.
• 3:46
Speaker 2: Always believed it. But sometimes it's just very comforting.
• 3:50
Speaker 3: And I think that now that I've witnessed all those
• 3:53
Speaker 3: little miracles, like I was yesterday looking at I took
• 3:57
Speaker 3: my girlfriends are in town, and I went to take
• 3:58
Speaker 3: them to my new house that's going to be ready never.
• 4:01
Speaker 2: And someday they're like, it'll be ready in August.
• 4:04
Speaker 3: My girlfriends are like, Uh, there's no way this house
• 4:06
Speaker 3: is going to be ready in August.
• 4:08
  Speaker 2: Everyone's like, there's no way.
• 4:09
Speaker 1: I'm like, watch this house, by the way, that you
• 4:12
Speaker 1: were talking about renovating when this podcast started.
• 4:15
  Speaker 2: I know, I know it's been I mean, it's just
• 4:17
Speaker 2: the joke is on me.
• 4:18
Speaker 3: I can't believe how much time I've spent in rentals
• 4:22
Speaker 3: wasting money. Well anyway, but my friend we left there
• 4:25
Speaker 3: and we're at the dinner last night with a couple
• 4:27
Speaker 3: of girlfriends and my friend was like, uh, did you
• 4:30
Speaker 3: see that hummingbird just circling your front door when we
• 4:34
Speaker 3: were walking in. She goes, you were talking to the
• 4:35
Speaker 3: contractors and the designers and there was a hummingbird just circling, circling, circling,
• 4:40
  Speaker 3: and then when.
• 4:41
  Speaker 2: We walked in.
• 4:42
Speaker 3: So a psychic had said to me, you know, your mother,
• 4:44
Speaker 3: the way your parents, your mother, and a lot of
• 4:46
Speaker 3: dead people come back are as birds whatever. So that's
• 4:49
Speaker 3: easy because you can always Yeah, if you're a cynic,
• 4:51
Speaker 3: you can be like, well, they're birds everywhere, but a
• 4:54
Speaker 3: hummingbird specifically. And they also told me watch out for nests.
• 5:00
Speaker 3: When you move into a place or you have a house,
• 5:02
Speaker 3: watch out for nests in weird places because your mother
• 5:05
Speaker 3: is forming nests and that's where she hangs out is
• 5:08
Speaker 3: around your house in Whistler. My property guy called me
• 5:13
Speaker 3: and he goes, you know, you have a nest right
• 5:14
Speaker 3: outside your front door.
• 5:15
Speaker 2: There's a bunch of hummingbirds up here. Oh my god.
• 5:18
Speaker 3: And I was like, what so yesterday, this was six
• 5:21
Speaker 3: months ago. Yesterday my friend was like, you know, there
• 5:24
Speaker 3: was a hummingbird outside your door.
• 5:26
Speaker 2: And I go, you did tell me that? She goes, yeah,
• 5:27
Speaker 2: it just kept circling the door, circling the door, circling
• 5:29
  Speaker 2: the door.
• 5:30
Speaker 1: Why would it be doing that.
• 5:31
Speaker 3: It's my mom gracing it or blessing it or saying
• 5:34
Speaker 3: like she's here, she's here. Who knows what it means.
• 5:37
Speaker 3: But and then when we were there, they're like, there's
• 5:40
Speaker 3: like three birds nests at every entrance and I.
• 5:42
  Speaker 2: Was like three.
• 5:43
Speaker 3: He goes, yes, at every doorway in the back, in
• 5:46
Speaker 3: the front, and then the doorway to the gym. He goes,
• 5:48
Speaker 3: there's three. And I was like, oh my god, why,
• 5:53
Speaker 3: And I couldn't. I was just like, holy shit. It
• 5:55
Speaker 3: was just crazy. And so I was like, Okay, I
• 5:57
Speaker 3: believe in that that is my mother. She would be
• 5:59
Speaker 3: a bird coming back around me. I do believe she
• 6:02
Speaker 3: was also my dog Junk, but.
• 6:05
Speaker 2: Yeah, so I do.
• 6:06
Speaker 3: I just I think it's some more fun way to live.
• 6:09
Speaker 3: And whatever you believe is true is true. It's just
• 6:12
Speaker 3: like when you tell yourself negative things, they become true,
• 6:14
Speaker 3: and when you tell yourself positive things, they also become true.
• 6:17
Speaker 1: I think that's so true. I love what you say
• 6:19
Speaker 1: about Like, if you don't know what it means, that's
• 6:21
Speaker 1: still okay, because maybe you will in the future and
• 6:23
Speaker 1: maybe you won't. I tend to see the numbers one, two,
• 6:27
Speaker 1: three four constantly, which seems like, well, those are the
• 6:31
Speaker 1: first four numbers, but also like on a clock, like
• 6:34
Speaker 1: half the time I look at a clock, it's one, two,
• 6:36
Speaker 1: three four, and I don't exactly.
• 6:38
Speaker 2: Know what it means.
• 6:40
Speaker 1: I tried looking it up in numerology and stuff, and
• 6:42
Speaker 1: it seems to mean that when you see it, you're
• 6:45
Speaker 1: on the right track and you're in your growth and.
• 6:47
  Speaker 2: You're learning, which I like.
• 6:49
Speaker 1: But I'm like, I feel like there's some deeper meaning
• 6:51
Speaker 1: and I feel like one day it's going to hit
• 6:53
Speaker 1: me like a ton of bricks.
• 6:54
Speaker 3: Yeah, numbers are important too, Like I told my aunt
• 6:56
Speaker 3: when my cousin died. She was obviously, you know, never
• 7:00
Speaker 3: going to be the same. And I said, you know,
• 7:02
Speaker 3: she doesn't believe in any of this. I go, you
• 7:03
Speaker 3: have to think of something, Think of something so obscure
• 7:05
Speaker 3: that only he would know about.
• 7:07
Speaker 2: Just make it up in your mind.
• 7:09
Speaker 3: Communicate to him in your mind that you need to
• 7:11
Speaker 3: see these numbers or these letters or this symbol. She
• 7:15
Speaker 3: chose like xyz da da da da. She chose some
• 7:18
Speaker 3: random thing of numbers. So she spent the whole I go, great, now,
• 7:21
Speaker 3: look everywhere, just look at in all the strangest places.
• 7:23
Speaker 3: So she's looking at license plates, she's driving around, looking
• 7:26
Speaker 3: and seeing if she could find this weird combination of lettering.
• 7:29
Speaker 3: And then she picked up her phone and the numbers
• 7:32
Speaker 3: that those letters made out on the phone was on
• 7:34
Speaker 3: her phone without making a call, because it wasn't a
• 7:37
Speaker 3: full phone number. It was just like five letters, and
• 7:39
Speaker 3: and it just it was like, whatever that is on
• 7:42
Speaker 3: your phone. And she said she looked at her phone
• 7:44
Speaker 3: in the middle of the day and she called me.
• 7:45
Speaker 3: She was shaking. She's like, oh my god, that's him.
• 7:48
  Speaker 3: He's okay, it's so wid.
• 7:51
  Speaker 4: Yeah.
• 7:51
Speaker 3: So I think that you know, we're When we lose someone,
• 7:54
Speaker 3: we're so desperate to know that they're okay, and we
• 7:58
Speaker 3: suffer so much. It's like they don't want us to suffer.
• 8:01
Speaker 3: And I understand you have to grieve because you've lost someone,
• 8:04
Speaker 3: but there is an attachment that real monks and Buddhists.
• 8:10
Speaker 2: Know not to attach to, not to attach to the
• 8:13
  Speaker 2: physical form.
• 8:15
Speaker 3: Of course you're attached emotionally, but it's not gone. When
• 8:18
Speaker 3: that person dies, they're just not here. And while that's
• 8:21
Speaker 3: a huge loss, don't forget that there's the energy and
• 8:25
Speaker 3: the connection and the love is still there and palpable, right.
• 8:29
Speaker 1: And I mean, even from a straight up physics perspective,
• 8:33
Speaker 1: energy doesn't disappear, right. It transforms into something else, whether
• 8:36
Speaker 1: it's water becoming a gas, et cetera, et cetera. But
• 8:39
Speaker 1: I think the same can be true of the literal
• 8:42
Speaker 1: electric energy that's in our bodies when we're alive. It
• 8:45
Speaker 1: doesn't just disappear and dissipate. It has to transform into
• 8:48
  Speaker 1: something else.
• 8:49
Speaker 3: And when you are aligned with this universal intelligence that
• 8:53
Speaker 3: I speak of, like when you believe that everything is
• 8:57
Speaker 3: leading you to the in the right direction, and to
• 8:59
Speaker 3: trust your instinct and gut and you don't resist uncomfortable
• 9:03
Speaker 3: circumstances or things that don't work out, You don't let
• 9:06
Speaker 3: them drag you down. So far everything starts to get easier.
• 9:11
Speaker 3: And that tip has happened in my life in such
• 9:13
Speaker 3: a major way that I would be remiss to pretend
• 9:16
Speaker 3: that it wasn't part of a universal alignment. Like I'm
• 9:20
Speaker 3: in my flow state, I understand where things are going,
• 9:23
Speaker 3: and even if things don't work out, I feel so
• 9:26
Speaker 3: optimistic about all the work I've done and the direction I'm.
• 9:30
Speaker 2: Headed that I can handle it all.
• 9:31
Speaker 3: Yeah, and now I trust myself, and before I didn't
• 9:34
Speaker 3: trust myself, or there were times where I did it.
• 9:37
Speaker 2: Trust myself is a better way to put it.
• 9:39
Speaker 1: It's a hard thing to learn when something's not going right, Like, Okay,
• 9:43
Speaker 1: this is a learning experience. What am I actually supposed
• 9:45
Speaker 1: to take from this? Even though it's painful or awkward
• 9:48
Speaker 1: or annoying, But you can get there, you know, to
• 9:52
Speaker 1: accepting that all of these things are learning experiences.
• 9:55
Speaker 3: Yeah, And the more experience you have, the more you
• 9:58
Speaker 3: realize A breakup is not the end of the world,
• 10:00
Speaker 3: world a job. Losing a job is not the end
• 10:02
Speaker 3: of the world. A family member. Dying is terrible experience,
• 10:06
Speaker 3: but it's part of life and it's not the end
• 10:08
Speaker 3: of the world. Your world continues to exist. So how
• 10:12
Speaker 3: do you want to move forward in that? As a
• 10:13
Speaker 3: victim or as someone who's empowered and understands that this
• 10:18
Speaker 3: universal intelligence is going to take and give and upset
• 10:22
Speaker 3: and like enlighten be open to all of the experiences.
• 10:26
Speaker 3: And you know, I used to be such a baby
• 10:29
Speaker 3: and a brat. If things didn't go my way, I
• 10:31
Speaker 3: would be I would stop my feet and cry to
• 10:33
Speaker 3: get my way. And I don't have to do that anymore. Yeah,
• 10:37
Speaker 3: so amen to that, yes for sure, which brings.
• 10:41
Speaker 2: Us to our very special guest. Oh, you guys are
• 10:43
  Speaker 2: gonna like this.
• 10:44
Speaker 3: So our next guest is doing a live tour currently
• 10:48
Speaker 3: just nominated for an Emmy for his show on Netflix,
• 10:51
Speaker 3: which is called Life After Death, and he is the
• 10:53
Speaker 3: star of Hollywood Medium. He is a recent Emmy nominee
• 10:57
Speaker 3: for his Netflix series Life after Death with how Tyler
• 11:00
Speaker 3: Henry Please welcome Tyler Henry.
• 11:03
Speaker 2: Oh my god, how cute are you? I was so
• 11:05
Speaker 2: excited to talk to you.
• 11:07
Speaker 4: I'm so excited to talk to you. I barely slept
• 11:09
Speaker 4: a wink last night, So I am looking forward to.
• 11:11
Speaker 2: Oh my god, you're so cute.
• 11:13
Speaker 3: I just think you're so Your whole vibe and energy
• 11:16
Speaker 3: is just so sweet and welcoming and comforting to so
• 11:20
  Speaker 3: many people.
• 11:20
  Speaker 2: It's so touching.
• 11:22
Speaker 4: Well, thank you so much. It means the world. I
• 11:23
Speaker 4: feel the same way about you. You've entertained me for
• 11:25
Speaker 4: years and have brought such so much joy to so
• 11:28
Speaker 4: many people. So I'm excited to say.
• 11:30
Speaker 2: Well, I'm less comforting but more probably joy.
• 11:32
Speaker 3: Yeah, I can bring joy, and I don't think comfort
• 11:34
Speaker 3: is what I'm bringing.
• 11:35
  Speaker 2: But that's okay.
• 11:36
Speaker 3: Not everybody's here for everything, you know, Catherine, this is
• 11:39
  Speaker 3: my co host.
• 11:39
Speaker 4: H Well, Catherine, it's lovely to meet you.
• 11:42
Speaker 3: To me, okay, So I want you to tell me.
• 11:44
  Speaker 3: I don't know if I have this story right. I
• 11:46
Speaker 3: want to talk about your kind of og story, your
• 11:49
Speaker 3: mom and I think I read that your mom was
• 11:52
Speaker 3: kidnapped as a young girl.
• 11:54
Speaker 2: Is that accurate in essence?
• 11:57
Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm basically my mom as a baby was taken
• 12:01
Speaker 4: by a woman who we later found out took her,
• 12:04
Speaker 4: and we for the first twenty something years of my life,
• 12:07
Speaker 4: thought that this woman was my grandmother, and indeed we
• 12:10
Speaker 4: came to this family discovery that she was abducted, and
• 12:14
Speaker 4: it led to a whole kind of reunion with my
• 12:16
Speaker 4: biological family, which was captured on a Netflix show called
• 12:19
  Speaker 4: Life After Death.
• 12:20
Speaker 3: Whoa holy shit, I mean, that is a lifetime movie
• 12:26
  Speaker 3: come to roost.
• 12:28
Speaker 4: It really was. Oh my, the woman who did this,
• 12:31
Speaker 4: who I thought was my grandmother for the first twenty
• 12:33
Speaker 4: something years of my life, ended up actually serving over
• 12:35
Speaker 4: thirty years in prison for the murder of two people,
• 12:38
Speaker 4: and I ended up actually involving her own family in
• 12:42
Speaker 4: having to bury the bodies and manipulated the entire situation,
• 12:47
Speaker 4: and you know, it was a source of a lot
• 12:49
Speaker 4: of shame for my mom. And then to find out
• 12:51
Speaker 4: that that wasn't even actually her mother. It was definitely
• 12:54
Speaker 4: heartbreaking and also kind of relieving to know we weren't
• 12:57
Speaker 4: related to that person.
• 12:58
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I bet yeh.
• 13:00
Speaker 3: God, that must be such a hurdle to get over emotionally,
• 13:04
Speaker 3: to grow up thinking somebody's one thing and then find
• 13:06
Speaker 3: out they're not multiple things.
• 13:08
Speaker 4: Absolutely. I mean, there's something to be said about, you know,
• 13:11
Speaker 4: people living often with the sins of their father, and
• 13:13
Speaker 4: you hear all these tropes about how the apple doesn't
• 13:15
Speaker 4: fall far from the tree. And you know, my mom
• 13:17
Speaker 4: grew up hearing those things and it was very taunting
• 13:19
Speaker 4: for her. And so to realize, hey, you know, there
• 13:22
Speaker 4: wasn't even a biological link, it was kind of healing.
• 13:25
Speaker 2: Have you been able to help your mom on that front?
• 13:27
Speaker 4: Yeah, definitely. You know, in some ways, my own intuitive
• 13:30
Speaker 4: inclinations are kind of limited when it comes to reading
• 13:33
Speaker 4: my own family, and a lot of that has to
• 13:35
Speaker 4: do too and just implicit biases. You know, I kind
• 13:37
Speaker 4: of know too much. I have my own hopes and
• 13:39
Speaker 4: fears about the people that I love and care about,
• 13:42
Speaker 4: and so it was very difficult in my pursuit for
• 13:44
Speaker 4: answers to be able to really get any through my
• 13:46
Speaker 4: normal kind of go to methods. But we were able
• 13:49
Speaker 4: to work with a leading genealogist. I introduced my mom
• 13:51
Speaker 4: to another medium and we received a very compelling reading,
• 13:54
Speaker 4: and through all that information was able to kind of
• 13:56
Speaker 4: get an understanding of what happened, what led to this
• 13:59
Speaker 4: horrible event that affected so many.
• 14:01
Speaker 3: Oh gosh, yeah, I wonder if that you know, when
• 14:04
Speaker 3: we talk about intergenerational trauma, right like, I wonder how
• 14:08
Speaker 3: that affects you unconsciously.
• 14:10
Speaker 4: Absolutely Oh, I've so often wonder too, you know, just
• 14:13
Speaker 4: how trauma and its effect over generations can sometimes even
• 14:17
Speaker 4: kind of be inherited in certain proclivities or susceptibilities to
• 14:21
Speaker 4: maybe even anxiety, you know, on some levels. So I
• 14:23
Speaker 4: do know that shame is something very powerful and often
• 14:26
Speaker 4: does have a ripple effect. And so to be able
• 14:28
Speaker 4: to tell that story in a way that was shared
• 14:31
Speaker 4: with millions of people, I think was liberating and kind
• 14:34
Speaker 4: of reclaiming what happened and owning that narrative and being
• 14:38
Speaker 4: the one to tell that story versus being ashamed of it.
• 14:41
Speaker 3: And that show on Netflix, Life After Death was just
• 14:44
Speaker 3: nominated for an Emmy, so I should mention that too.
• 14:46
Speaker 3: So if you haven't seen it, definitely go and see it,
• 14:48
Speaker 3: because that is one crazy story. Okay, let's talk about
• 14:53
Speaker 3: you and how you came into touch with your abilities.
• 14:57
Speaker 4: Absolutely well, for me, it really started when I was
• 14:59
Speaker 4: ten years old. I didn't recognize this as an ability initially.
• 15:02
Speaker 4: I woke up one night in April of two thousand
• 15:05
Speaker 4: and six and just had this knowingness, this overwhelming feeling
• 15:08
Speaker 4: that my grandmother was going to pass. And from there,
• 15:11
Speaker 4: very quickly I went into the room to try to
• 15:13
Speaker 4: share this with my mom, and as I was explaining
• 15:15
Speaker 4: it to her, we literally, in that moment received the
• 15:18
Speaker 4: phone call from my dad that my grandmother had just died.
• 15:21
Speaker 4: So that acted as a catalyst. But when you're that young,
• 15:24
Speaker 4: you don't really recognize that as an ability. It was
• 15:27
Speaker 4: just a moment of connection, a moment of knowing this
• 15:29
Speaker 4: that led to a series of other moments of knowing
• 15:31
Speaker 4: this as time went on.
• 15:33
Speaker 2: A h and was this the grandmother that was went
• 15:35
  Speaker 2: to jail?
• 15:36
Speaker 4: Or is this your number one? So thankfully I had
• 15:38
Speaker 4: a very, very wonderful paternal grandmother who was my world
• 15:42
Speaker 4: and she made up for all the nastiness on the
• 15:44
Speaker 4: other side of the family. But no, this was the
• 15:46
Speaker 4: my grandmother who's my whole life, and she was really
• 15:50
Speaker 4: kind of that introduction into what I would later do
• 15:52
  Speaker 4: as a job.
• 15:53
  Speaker 2: Oh my god.
• 15:54
Speaker 3: And so how does one when you have abilities like
• 15:57
Speaker 3: this and you and you categorize yourself as a medium.
• 16:00
Speaker 3: So how does one separate the knowing and the intuitiveness
• 16:05
Speaker 3: and the seeing that you have.
• 16:08
Speaker 2: How do you separate that.
• 16:09
Speaker 3: When you're living your real life and you're not working
• 16:12
Speaker 3: or you're not trying. Is that like a switch that
• 16:14
Speaker 3: you're able to flip easily.
• 16:16
Speaker 4: You know, I kind of like, in the medium side
• 16:18
Speaker 4: of things to a little bit of like a volume
• 16:20
Speaker 4: dial in the sense that there's always background noise when
• 16:22
Speaker 4: I go about my life. But I've had certain kind
• 16:25
Speaker 4: of processes or rituals or routines that I've created to
• 16:28
Speaker 4: allow myself to kind of turn on and turn that
• 16:30
Speaker 4: volume dial up, and then when I need to kind
• 16:32
Speaker 4: of go about my life and go grocery shopping be
• 16:34
Speaker 4: able to kind of turn it down. And so that's
• 16:36
Speaker 4: kind of the best way to describe it. But it
• 16:38
Speaker 4: certainly is a process of kind of navigating a constant
• 16:42
Speaker 4: sense of I'm trying to understand what's mine and what's
• 16:44
Speaker 4: other people's and having that.
• 16:46
Speaker 3: Discernment, And how do you feel there must be a
• 16:51
Speaker 3: sense of responsibility that you must feel as just a human,
• 16:55
Speaker 3: decent person, right, Because if I mean I feel a
• 16:58
Speaker 3: sense of responsibility a human being and I don't have
• 17:01
Speaker 3: that ability, even though I kind of wish I did.
• 17:04
  Speaker 3: I mean, who doesn't, really, right, I mean, you're the
• 17:06
Speaker 3: envy of it. I mean, who doesn't want to be
• 17:08
Speaker 3: around somebody who can see you know, the people that
• 17:10
Speaker 3: have left your life or has some sort of psychic ability,
• 17:13
Speaker 3: which I think we're all innately born with. Right, it's
• 17:16
Speaker 3: a matter of whether or not you're how in touch
• 17:18
Speaker 3: you are with the idea of it.
• 17:20
Speaker 4: Absolutely, and it's really about trust. And you know, we
• 17:22
Speaker 4: all get a first impression. We all get a feeling
• 17:24
Speaker 4: when we shake someone's hand, we all get a vibe
• 17:26
Speaker 4: when we enter into a room, and so many of
• 17:29
Speaker 4: us just kind of discount that as it was just
• 17:31
Speaker 4: a feeling, but so often it's kind of a tool
• 17:34
Speaker 4: we're relying on and don't even realize.
• 17:36
Speaker 3: So, what was the biggest discovery you made after the
• 17:39
Speaker 3: first thing with your grandmother? I mean, obviously that's a
• 17:41
Speaker 3: huge discovery, But what was the next thing that really
• 17:43
Speaker 3: cemented the idea that this was going to be play
• 17:45
Speaker 3: a major role in your future and your professional life.
• 17:49
Speaker 4: Yeah, well, you know, life very quickly changed for me.
• 17:51
Speaker 4: At the age of sixteen, I had an interaction with
• 17:54
Speaker 4: my math teacher, of all things, where I shared with
• 17:56
Speaker 4: her message that I was getting while I was sitting
• 17:59
Speaker 4: in class and again came through as a knowingness, almost
• 18:01
Speaker 4: akin to like a memory that hadn't happened yet. And
• 18:04
Speaker 4: when I shared this message with her. It involved her
• 18:07
Speaker 4: former relationship and her divorce and what led to that,
• 18:10
Speaker 4: and her former mother in law came through to let
• 18:12
Speaker 4: her know that she loved her like a mother loved daughter,
• 18:15
Speaker 4: regardless of the fact that her relationship with her son
• 18:18
Speaker 4: had dissolved. And it was just really healing and showed that,
• 18:21
Speaker 4: you know, there was power in these random moments when
• 18:24
Speaker 4: they could be applied in the right way, in the
• 18:25
Speaker 4: right circumstances and could actually help make a transformative effect
• 18:29
Speaker 4: on someone's life. And so that math teacher was interviewed
• 18:31
Speaker 4: actually on the Netflix show. She was instrumental in helping
• 18:34
Speaker 4: me graduate high school at the age of sixteen, where
• 18:37
Speaker 4: I then went on to try to become a hospice
• 18:39
Speaker 4: nurse because I figured, you know what two birds one stone.
• 18:44
Speaker 2: And what happened when you tried to become a hostmas nurse.
• 18:47
Speaker 4: Well this is the No one's gonna believe this, But
• 18:49
Speaker 4: I ended up reading the dean of my college and
• 18:51
Speaker 4: he literally ran into me one day and was like, Tyler,
• 18:54
Speaker 4: if you did for me what you did for me,
• 18:57
Speaker 4: you probably should just go in that direction more than
• 18:59
Speaker 4: you know doing the hospice interessing thing. And so in essence,
• 19:02
Speaker 4: I kind of always joke the dean of the college
• 19:04
Speaker 4: gave me permission to quit school, and that's literally what happened.
• 19:08
Speaker 4: And then, you know, life obviously went a very different
• 19:10
Speaker 4: direction as I got my show when I was nineteen
• 19:12
  Speaker 4: years old.
• 19:13
Speaker 3: Yeah, congrat kudos to you on that way to go.
• 19:16
  Speaker 3: Netflix doesn't miss a beat.
• 19:18
Speaker 4: I just kind of felt guided into it.
• 19:20
Speaker 2: Well, that's nice, congrats on that. Are we going to
• 19:23
Speaker 2: do a little reading as Tyler?
• 19:25
Speaker 1: Are you going to open that doing a little reading
• 19:27
  Speaker 1: for Chelsea?
• 19:27
Speaker 4: Yeah, so absolutely, I would love to.
• 19:30
Speaker 1: Well let's take a quick break and we'll be back
• 19:32
  Speaker 1: with Tyler.
• 19:33
Speaker 2: And Chelsea and we're back.
• 19:39
  Speaker 1: We're back.
• 19:40
Speaker 4: So as far as this reading goes, I have my
• 19:42
Speaker 4: pen and paper here, so I'm happy to scribble and
• 19:45
Speaker 4: it might take about thirty seconds for stuff to start
• 19:47
Speaker 4: coming through. Information can come through about both of you,
• 19:49
Speaker 4: So just kind of good to keep this in mind.
• 19:51
Speaker 4: Something might make sense for one the other it might
• 19:53
Speaker 4: not so much, and so we'll kind of go back
• 19:55
Speaker 4: and forth if that happens. But I'm going to scribble
• 19:58
Speaker 4: and then we'll kind of see which direction we go. Now,
• 20:01
Speaker 4: very often what will happen is information will come through
• 20:03
Speaker 4: around conversations. We've just had family dynamics, things we were
• 20:07
Speaker 4: just doing. If anything too sensitive comes through, I'll share
• 20:10
Speaker 4: with you after the fact off recording. But yeah, generally
• 20:14
Speaker 4: it just kind of helps me get a map of
• 20:15
  Speaker 4: where I'm going.
• 20:16
Speaker 3: Like if my father's planning on coming back and reincarnating
• 20:18
Speaker 3: himself during my life, that would be problematic for me.
• 20:21
Speaker 4: That you know what I'm here.
• 20:24
Speaker 3: You know, it's something something's funny that I always say
• 20:27
Speaker 3: when I meditate or when I'm feeling spiritual or connected
• 20:30
Speaker 3: really like to the universe, and I do my mantras
• 20:33
Speaker 3: or whatever I'm into at the time, I always feel
• 20:36
Speaker 3: my mom and my brother, but I never ever feel
• 20:39
  Speaker 3: my father.
• 20:39
  Speaker 2: And I'm like, I feel like he's getting He's in
• 20:42
  Speaker 2: the spin.
• 20:42
Speaker 3: Cycle, like in perfectory, making up for all all of
• 20:46
  Speaker 3: his bad behavior.
• 20:48
Speaker 4: He's just in limbo. But you know it's working, working
• 20:50
Speaker 4: our way out the spin cycle exactly. We're good. Well,
• 20:53
Speaker 4: we'll see if anything comes through, because one thing I
• 20:55
Speaker 4: actually want to start with so immediately I have to
• 20:58
Speaker 4: highlight for some reason, when we talk about females within family,
• 21:01
Speaker 4: I'm being a big fan of you of course know
• 21:03
Speaker 4: your mom has passed, but I have to highlight for
• 21:05
Speaker 4: some reason acknowledgment also around an aunt. So if you
• 21:08
Speaker 4: have any aunts that have passed away, it could be
• 21:10
Speaker 4: a way of just kind of trying to acknowledge that
• 21:11
Speaker 4: I like to relay exactly as a symbology comes through
• 21:14
Speaker 4: kind of how I'm seeing it, And that's one of
• 21:16
Speaker 4: the individuals I feel like I have to highlight in
• 21:18
Speaker 4: some kind of capacity, check and see within Chelsea, within
• 21:20
Speaker 4: your family, if there's anyone who's passed away in their
• 21:23
Speaker 4: sixties that would be female, So like, I don't feel
• 21:26
Speaker 4: like I get to hit my seventies. I feel like
• 21:28
Speaker 4: I passed away kind of closer to my sixties, and
• 21:30
Speaker 4: it wouldn't be your mother, so it would be somebody else.
• 21:33
Speaker 4: And that's just kind of good to keep in mind
• 21:35
Speaker 4: without giving any information away off the top of your head.
• 21:37
Speaker 4: Do you know of any females who would have passed
• 21:39
Speaker 4: away in their sixties that.
• 21:40
Speaker 3: Would have Yeah, my mom's sister, Elka, would have passed
• 21:43
Speaker 3: away in her sixties, so yeah, I have one aunt, Elka.
• 21:46
Speaker 4: Yeah, so we'd kind of be going in that direction.
• 21:48
Speaker 4: The way this keeps coming in is I keep having
• 21:50
Speaker 4: to talk about that aunt acknowledgment in the way, this
• 21:52
Speaker 4: comes through a couple of cancer susceptibilities that would exist
• 21:56
Speaker 4: within family that just need to be kept in mind generationally.
• 21:59
Speaker 4: So I, as far I know, I believe your mom
• 22:01
Speaker 4: did deal with some kind of cancer. Is that correct? Yes,
• 22:04
Speaker 4: I'm aware of that, But I also feel like somebody
• 22:06
Speaker 4: else may have also dealt with that susceptibility. That also
• 22:09
Speaker 4: comes through as being significant and female and dealing with
• 22:11
Speaker 4: this at kind of an earlier age. So on mom's
• 22:13
Speaker 4: side of family, do you know of any other females
• 22:15
Speaker 4: who dealt with cancer?
• 22:17
  Speaker 2: No, I don't, no worries.
• 22:19
Speaker 4: Any like cancer scares, cancer bouts. When we talk about
• 22:22
Speaker 4: her sister, do you know if she had any areas
• 22:24
Speaker 4: of concern in that area?
• 22:25
Speaker 3: I forget how she died, but it wasn't cancer. I'm
• 22:28
Speaker 3: pretty sure she had. I think she had heart issues, gotcha.
• 22:32
Speaker 4: She seems like a very strong person's kind of the
• 22:34
Speaker 4: way we describe it in sense of like strong will.
• 22:37
  Speaker 4: I'm not going anywhere. I don't know why, but I
• 22:39
Speaker 4: have to highlight more than one health related thing, and
• 22:41
Speaker 4: I'm putting it definitely more around her. So just something
• 22:43
Speaker 4: to look into and we'll kind of look and see
• 22:45
Speaker 4: if we can confirm with that. I have to talk
• 22:47
Speaker 4: about some reference in the way this comes across to
• 22:50
Speaker 4: somebody receiving a gift, and it would be an art piece,
• 22:54
Speaker 4: but it would be of a dog, and this would
• 22:56
Speaker 4: be of a dog that passed So if somebody received
• 23:00
Speaker 4: some form of either an illustration of a dog that died,
• 23:04
Speaker 4: I feel like I have to highlight this event happening
• 23:06
Speaker 4: in some way. If it hasn't happened yet, it may
• 23:09
Speaker 4: like we just end up getting surprised by this gift,
• 23:11
Speaker 4: but it would be something thoughtful that somebody would do,
• 23:13
Speaker 4: as like a rendition to honor an animal that has
• 23:15
  Speaker 4: passed away.
• 23:16
Speaker 3: Yeah, I've had it's plenty of those with my dog Chunk,
• 23:19
Speaker 3: because Chunk was such a public stud that people sent
• 23:22
Speaker 3: me so many beautiful things after he died, and a
• 23:24
Speaker 3: lot of them were paintings, and like, yeah.
• 23:27
Speaker 4: It's sweet and it's really symbolic in the sense of
• 23:29
Speaker 4: when we see these things, it's just those reminders that
• 23:31
Speaker 4: we hold on too, that feeling it kind of brings
• 23:33
Speaker 4: back and the importance of holding onto that. I also
• 23:35
Speaker 4: have to talk about Atlantic City and This is just
• 23:37
Speaker 4: good to keep in mind. I'm seeing Atlantic City, and
• 23:40
Speaker 4: anytime I see Atlantic City, I've been there before. It's
• 23:43
Speaker 4: usually a place I attribute to casinos in some capacity.
• 23:46
Speaker 4: But if there's any sentimental memories, So do you know
• 23:49
Speaker 4: any significant memories in that kind of area.
• 23:53
Speaker 3: Well, that's where I met Bill Cosby, so that was significant, significantly.
• 23:58
Speaker 2: Yeah, I was awake because.
• 24:00
Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yes, well you remember it.
• 24:03
Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm aware that it happened. So there's that.
• 24:06
Speaker 3: But yeah, I perform an Atlantic City on every tour,
• 24:09
Speaker 3: of which I'm on one right now. So my family
• 24:11
Speaker 3: usually comes down there, and I have a lot of
• 24:14
Speaker 3: pictures of the beach in Atlantic City with my nieces.
• 24:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, I have that.
• 24:18
Speaker 4: One thing I want to look into is there's some
• 24:20
Speaker 4: acknowledgement it kept hearing a little birdie you told me,
• 24:23
Speaker 4: So anytime that comes through for some reason with your mom,
• 24:26
Speaker 4: there's some connection as this comes through with like a
• 24:28
Speaker 4: little bird visiting. So if you find that, like you
• 24:32
Speaker 4: when this hang when we hang up, if you like
• 24:34
Speaker 4: go to your window and there's a little bird sitting there,
• 24:36
Speaker 4: it's those kinds of things that often happen that kind
• 24:39
Speaker 4: of validate what we hear in readings, but I feel
• 24:41
Speaker 4: like there's some visitation involving a little bird.
• 24:43
Speaker 3: It's so funny, that's so true because I've heard this before,
• 24:46
Speaker 3: and I've read about people and like the most common
• 24:48
Speaker 3: ways that they show you signs from the other side,
• 24:51
Speaker 3: and birds is obviously very common. But someone once told
• 24:55
Speaker 3: me check for birds nests outside of any place that
• 24:59
Speaker 3: you live, like they're going to be in weird places.
• 25:01
Speaker 3: And like three months.
• 25:03
Speaker 2: Ago, I have a house in Whistler.
• 25:05
Speaker 3: The guy who takes care of my house for me
• 25:07
Speaker 3: set me a picture of a bird's nest right outside
• 25:10
Speaker 3: the window and he goes, Oh, my god, this bird's
• 25:12
Speaker 3: nest was here all winter.
• 25:13
Speaker 2: Did you see it? And I thought, oh, that's my mother.
• 25:16
Speaker 4: Oh I love that. So that's just kind of for
• 25:19
Speaker 4: me when things like that get brought up in a reading.
• 25:21
Speaker 4: It's a way to kind of refer back to an
• 25:22
Speaker 4: event you would be familiar with, something that you can
• 25:25
Speaker 4: recollect and kind of almost validate as a way of
• 25:27
Speaker 4: saying that is indeed either me or I know that
• 25:30
Speaker 4: you thought that was me at the very least, and
• 25:32
Speaker 4: that for me is often very comforting. I have to
• 25:35
Speaker 4: talk about that I woke up this morning hearing the
• 25:37
Speaker 4: song idole wise, idle wise, idle wise. It's a song
• 25:41
Speaker 4: from I think the sound of music. There's some darn
• 25:44
Speaker 4: sentimentality with that song, and it will go back, and
• 25:47
Speaker 4: it could go back generations even but idleways.
• 25:51
Speaker 2: Well, my mom was German, so she was from that
• 25:53
Speaker 2: neck of the woods.
• 25:54
Speaker 4: I love it if there's some sentimentality, if that song
• 25:57
Speaker 4: was played as a child for somebody on a music box,
• 26:00
Speaker 4: just remember that. I'm saying that check into it, because
• 26:02
Speaker 4: I think we'll end up knowing where that fits. It
• 26:04
Speaker 4: feels like we're kind of going back in time on
• 26:06
Speaker 4: some kind of larger capacity. So I have to ask
• 26:09
Speaker 4: as it relates to your kind of overall physical body,
• 26:11
Speaker 4: one thing to consider is as we go to lower
• 26:13
Speaker 4: I keep in mind that you have a susceptibility when
• 26:15
Speaker 4: it comes to legs of one leg being weaker than
• 26:18
Speaker 4: the other, and just wanting to be mindful of this
• 26:21
Speaker 4: because for some reason, when we're talking about balance, I'm
• 26:23
Speaker 4: almost more inclined to worry about one like almost slipping up,
• 26:28
Speaker 4: so that generally for me can sometimes indicate likenie susceptibilities.
• 26:31
Speaker 4: Ankle susceptibilities anywhere we would have like a joint on
• 26:34
Speaker 4: one side more than the other. Just be mindful of
• 26:36
Speaker 4: that if you notice any issues. Because I don't think
• 26:39
Speaker 4: things are set in stone, we can kind of, you know,
• 26:41
Speaker 4: knowledge his power on some greater sense. One thing I
• 26:43
Speaker 4: want to talk about when we go to Dad's side
• 26:45
Speaker 4: is when we do talk about that department. One thing
• 26:47
Speaker 4: that I want to acknowledge. When I focus on that symbology,
• 26:50
Speaker 4: I do not get a lot, but I will tell
• 26:51
Speaker 4: you what I get. There's an acknowledgment of our dad,
• 26:55
Speaker 4: either my symbology around what do we do with him?
• 26:58
Speaker 4: Where do we put him, where does he go? If
• 27:00
Speaker 4: there was a decision around someone either going into a
• 27:02
Speaker 4: nursing home or having a rehabilitative kind of situation where
• 27:06
Speaker 4: they need to be taken care of through the help
• 27:08
Speaker 4: of professionals, there's some conversation around that in some large capacity.
• 27:12
Speaker 4: But what's interesting is there's this feeling of if somebody
• 27:16
Speaker 4: was not or if people were not able to be
• 27:18
Speaker 4: there when he died, there's this feeling of that's okay,
• 27:21
Speaker 4: I went the way that I was supposed to go.
• 27:24
Speaker 4: But sometimes people will come through and say, like, no,
• 27:26
Speaker 4: I needed everybody around me. I'm not getting that feeling
• 27:29
Speaker 4: with him. There's this feeling of I went and almost
• 27:32
Speaker 4: timed my passing. And I don't know why, but if
• 27:35
Speaker 4: somebody like almost intentionally went when they went to avoid people.
• 27:40
Speaker 4: But I don't mean to say it in such a
• 27:42
Speaker 4: kind of way, but it just kind of feels almost
• 27:45
Speaker 4: like not having everybody involved when it comes to sending
• 27:48
  Speaker 4: me off, Well.
• 27:49
  Speaker 2: That's how I want to go. So, I mean, I
• 27:51
Speaker 2: totally related my father feeling that way.
• 27:53
Speaker 4: If that's how he felt, it's definitely an interesting sense
• 27:56
Speaker 4: of timing my passing. When it comes to dad situation,
• 27:59
Speaker 4: were there people around at the very end or did
• 28:01
Speaker 4: he pass kind of more solo?
• 28:04
Speaker 3: He wasn't with any of us. Yeah, he was solow
• 28:06
Speaker 3: in one of those assisted living places.
• 28:09
Speaker 4: So the way that that comes in is basically, you
• 28:12
Speaker 4: know some people live and feel like I wish I
• 28:13
Speaker 4: would have been there. I wish I could have been
• 28:15
Speaker 4: there for him. There's this feeling of like didn't need
• 28:17
Speaker 4: people to be there, timed by passing. Yeah, the interesting
• 28:20
Speaker 4: thing is I feel like he kind of held on
• 28:22
Speaker 4: a little longer than I would have even expected, which
• 28:24
Speaker 4: is kind of strange. He gives me an earlier acknoledgement
• 28:27
Speaker 4: of an earlier point where I almost feel like we
• 28:29
Speaker 4: were like ready to say goodbye, and then he pulls
• 28:32
Speaker 4: through in some capacity, in some larger, larger kind of way,
• 28:35
Speaker 4: and then ends up passing a little later on, and
• 28:37
Speaker 4: they're like, what, like, we thought I was going to
• 28:39
Speaker 4: be the earlier thing. Did you have any earlier situations?
• 28:42
Speaker 3: Yes, we were hoping he would die a lot sooner
• 28:44
Speaker 3: than he did, because at a certain point it was
• 28:46
Speaker 3: just not a quality life. And he was such a
• 28:49
Speaker 3: stubborn asshole that he wouldn't die, you know what I mean.
• 28:53
Speaker 3: He was just like holding on tightly to his anger.
• 28:56
Speaker 3: I remember when my sister called to tell me that
• 28:58
Speaker 3: my dad died. My sister Shauna, and I was in
• 29:01
Speaker 3: the car with my driver, Billy, and she was crying
• 29:04
Speaker 3: and she goes, dad died this morning.
• 29:06
Speaker 2: And I'm like, I said, why are you crying? And
• 29:08
  Speaker 2: she's like, I don't know. We've been waiting for this
• 29:10
  Speaker 2: for years.
• 29:11
Speaker 3: Like not because we hate our dad. I mean, he
• 29:14
Speaker 3: was disappointing on many levels, but we all really loved him.
• 29:16
Speaker 3: It was just that it was no way to live anymore.
• 29:18
Speaker 3: So I think he definitely extended his life about six
• 29:22
Speaker 3: or seven years longer than necessary.
• 29:24
Speaker 4: With that, though, equally comes in awareness of certain cognitive biases,
• 29:29
Speaker 4: certain cycles that you as an individual have broken on
• 29:33
Speaker 4: a larger scale. And there's just an interesting acknowledgement when
• 29:36
Speaker 4: it comes to Dad about Dad not being able to
• 29:38
Speaker 4: see things in life, being shortsighted in a larger capacity,
• 29:42
Speaker 4: and from where he's at now, I truly believe there's
• 29:45
Speaker 4: a greater clarity in understanding that ripple effect.
• 29:48
  Speaker 1: Oh.
• 29:49
Speaker 4: I love that of how both his actions and inactions
• 29:54
Speaker 4: affected the people around him. And I would really just say,
• 29:57
  Speaker 4: I don't get a maliciousness around him. I just kind
• 30:01
Speaker 4: of get a sense of I feel like he might
• 30:03
Speaker 4: have sometimes offended people without intending to offend them. And
• 30:07
Speaker 4: it's almost like when someone says the worst possible thing
• 30:10
Speaker 4: at the worst possible time, but they thought they were
• 30:12
Speaker 4: being comforting. There's something there that just kind of comes
• 30:15
Speaker 4: through that if anybody feels he kind of had that quality,
• 30:19
Speaker 4: there's an acknowledgement of warning to wife that clean of
• 30:21
Speaker 4: I see maybe perhaps the insensitivity or my timing not
• 30:25
Speaker 4: always being the best, but people maybe not understanding that
• 30:29
Speaker 4: from his perspective, so I don't really feel bad about it.
• 30:31
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Well I definitely have a little bit of
• 30:33
Speaker 3: what you're describing as well. I was born with the
• 30:36
Speaker 3: ability to say the wrong thing at the wrong time
• 30:39
Speaker 3: or the right thing at the wrong time.
• 30:41
Speaker 4: There you go, you know it definitely, uh, it happens.
• 30:45
Speaker 4: But there's definitely what I would say is fill a
• 30:47
Speaker 4: sense of in hindsight and understanding.
• 30:49
Speaker 2: Who was born in August my brother Roy?
• 30:53
Speaker 4: Okay, now, for some reason, and this is just one
• 30:55
Speaker 4: thing to consider. There's an acknowledgement around like one brother
• 30:59
Speaker 4: and then an brother and having to kind of separate
• 31:01
Speaker 4: the two for some reason. Oftentimes objects that come through
• 31:04
Speaker 4: have a lot more meaning than just their initial kind
• 31:06
Speaker 4: of application. Check and see if anybody has any horse paintings.
• 31:10
Speaker 4: Kind of a weird thing to say. I don't know
• 31:13
Speaker 4: where it's coming from, but like if somebody in the
• 31:16
Speaker 4: family made a painting of a horse or has a
• 31:19
Speaker 4: painting of a horse.
• 31:20
  Speaker 2: I don't know why that I've been called a horse
• 31:23
Speaker 2: before a horse face? Is that what we're talking about?
• 31:26
Speaker 4: Well, I think you're okay in that regard, but it's
• 31:30
Speaker 4: kind of a weird generational thing. I feel like I'm
• 31:32
Speaker 4: going back, and I'm not even entirely sure where to
• 31:35
Speaker 4: place it. It could be switching gears to Catherine as
• 31:40
Speaker 4: far as this goes.
• 31:40
Speaker 1: So, I definitely have some paintings of horses, one specifically
• 31:43
  Speaker 1: that's from my grandfather's house.
• 31:45
Speaker 4: Okay, I feel wow. I want to kind of go
• 31:48
Speaker 4: to you because I do sometimes get polls and I
• 31:50
Speaker 4: have to kind of go with those poles because they're inclinations,
• 31:52
Speaker 4: and we all have inclinations. But yeah, I think there's
• 31:55
Speaker 4: something to inform in that, So give me the may
• 31:57
Speaker 4: scribble really quick, Catherine. One of the areas that does
• 32:00
Speaker 4: pop up is just kind of a hypervigilance around the
• 32:03
Speaker 4: feminine system. That's usually ovarian, uterine, cervical. But I'm kind
• 32:07
Speaker 4: of going to lower again, this may not be something
• 32:09
  Speaker 4: we include now.
• 32:10
Speaker 1: I'm very open. I've got endometriosis and had sort of
• 32:14
Speaker 1: for that a couple of years ago, so about yeah.
• 32:16
Speaker 4: Gotcha, gotcha. I hope you're on the mend. I just
• 32:19
Speaker 4: want to keep it in mind. There's some acknowledgement around
• 32:21
Speaker 4: what I would view as like susceptibility information bybroid's ovari
• 32:24
Speaker 4: insistently just kind of being mindful of that thing. I'm
• 32:27
Speaker 4: just kind of just being on top of that, Catherine,
• 32:31
Speaker 4: in your family, I'm just kind of curious check and
• 32:33
Speaker 4: see if there were two passings within a very relatively
• 32:36
Speaker 4: short period of time. There's an acknowledgement of three years
• 32:39
Speaker 4: and two people within family passing in three years, so
• 32:44
Speaker 4: that comes in pretty strongly. Do you know off the
• 32:46
Speaker 4: top of your head, like two passings in three years?
• 32:48
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I would definitely say my two grandparents
• 32:52
Speaker 1: on my father's side passed within two years of each other.
• 32:55
Speaker 4: Gotcha. And when we talked about the lung cancer susceptibility
• 32:59
Speaker 4: things separately from I would just look into it and
• 33:01
Speaker 4: see if perhaps when we talk about dad side of family, Catherine,
• 33:05
Speaker 4: for you, do you know of any situations involving three
• 33:07
Speaker 4: siblings on Dad's side?
• 33:08
Speaker 1: Do we know what kind of situation?
• 33:11
Speaker 4: It's basically so I have to highlight an acknowledgment of
• 33:14
Speaker 4: three and it's generationally going back above you, which usually
• 33:17
Speaker 4: would put that on Dad's level.
• 33:20
Speaker 1: Yeah, my dad has three half siblings that he grew
• 33:22
Speaker 1: up with, and there's a lot of half siblings that
• 33:24
Speaker 1: he did not grow up with, so that could be
• 33:26
  Speaker 1: what that is.
• 33:27
Speaker 4: Okay, I having to highlight. The three generally be three
• 33:29
Speaker 4: that we'd be kind of more familiar with in some capacity.
• 33:32
Speaker 4: That's more for some reason, I'm putting some kind of
• 33:34
Speaker 4: long lung diagnosis lung prognostiy.
• 33:37
Speaker 1: So yeah, okay, I absolutely know what that is. Yeah,
• 33:40
Speaker 1: my aunt Debbie died of emphasema or like complications from emphysema,
• 33:44
Speaker 1: which is okay, one of those three.
• 33:46
Speaker 4: Yeah, so I definitely want to go there. I just
• 33:48
Speaker 4: generally interpret anything that would be like a terminal lung thing.
• 33:51
Speaker 4: That's kind of the symbology I'll get, and that's what
• 33:52
Speaker 4: I was getting. So I'm glad we figured out where
• 33:54
Speaker 4: it is all good as far as as living people goes,
• 33:56
Speaker 4: which is kind of good to be on top of that.
• 33:58
Speaker 3: And when you bring up like hew issues, is it
• 34:01
Speaker 3: as to heat a warning or is it to like,
• 34:03
Speaker 3: I mean, when someone has already crossed over, say, and
• 34:07
Speaker 3: you're you're acknowledging how they went, is that a confirmation
• 34:11
Speaker 3: in a sense that you're speaking to them.
• 34:13
Speaker 2: Is that why they're like saying it like to confirm
• 34:15
  Speaker 2: their presence?
• 34:16
Speaker 4: So how someone passes is a big part of their
• 34:19
Speaker 4: life story, and so very often people's lives and what
• 34:22
Speaker 4: they valued and who they were will come through. But
• 34:24
Speaker 4: very often a way to kind of validate will be,
• 34:27
Speaker 4: you know, kind of leading with what led to where
• 34:29
Speaker 4: I'm at now, and that's usually well always the cause
• 34:32
  Speaker 4: of death.
• 34:33
Speaker 3: Oh okay, well that was very juicy and cute. I
• 34:35
Speaker 3: like that little speed round. Okay, so let's give some
• 34:38
  Speaker 3: advice out.
• 34:39
  Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm ready.
• 34:40
Speaker 1: We'll take a little break and be right back.
• 34:46
  Speaker 2: And we're back.
• 34:47
Speaker 1: We're back with Tyler, Henry and Chelsea. Our first email
• 34:52
Speaker 1: comes from Denise. Dear Chelsea. I recently lost my mother
• 34:56
Speaker 1: unexpectedly to a stroke, and I'm pretty devastated. This was
• 34:59
Speaker 1: the heart est thing I've ever gone through. My mother
• 35:02
Speaker 1: was not only an amazing woman but also my best friend.
• 35:05
Speaker 1: I used to talk to her two to three times
• 35:07
Speaker 1: daily and she was my bouncing board for everything. The
• 35:10
Speaker 1: constant pain I'm feeling is unbearable, and I'm learning about grieving.
• 35:14
Speaker 1: They say that even though people die, you can speak
• 35:16
Speaker 1: with them and that they're still here with you. I
• 35:18
Speaker 1: find myself having conversations with my mom, but I don't
• 35:21
Speaker 1: know if it's me talking to myself or is it her.
• 35:25
Speaker 1: How do you know? And when is too soon to
• 35:27
Speaker 1: see a medium all the best, Denise.
• 35:31
Speaker 4: What a beautiful question, Denise. You know, I would just
• 35:33
Speaker 4: say when it comes to seeing a medium, it's important
• 35:36
Speaker 4: to do that when we've gotten to a place in
• 35:38
Speaker 4: our grief where I think we've been able to fundamentally
• 35:40
Speaker 4: process that physical loss. Medium reading is not a cure
• 35:44
Speaker 4: for grief, and it's important that we go through the
• 35:47
Speaker 4: process of being able to find acceptance. However that looks
• 35:51
Speaker 4: to us in being hopefully able to see grief counselors
• 35:54
Speaker 4: or find a sense of community or finds a sense
• 35:56
Speaker 4: of support before we go and receive a reading. So
• 35:59
Speaker 4: that would be my kind of general advice when it
• 36:01
Speaker 4: comes to the protocol. Largely though, I think when it
• 36:04
Speaker 4: comes to you know, wondering if they're there, if they notice,
• 36:07
Speaker 4: are they connected? Those are all very normal questions to have,
• 36:10
Speaker 4: and for me, I find in my own work one
• 36:12
Speaker 4: of the number one ways that they often seem to
• 36:14
Speaker 4: answer is through something called meaningful coincidence called synchronicity. And
• 36:19
Speaker 4: synchronicities happen, and you know, very often they are moments
• 36:23
Speaker 4: where events line up and we just kind of feel
• 36:26
Speaker 4: in an uncanny sense of wonder wondering, you know, was
• 36:29
Speaker 4: that you. And I think that even those moments where
• 36:32
Speaker 4: we stop and are kind of struck by this sense
• 36:35
Speaker 4: of questioning, those very often are signs and ways to
• 36:39
Speaker 4: let them know and affirm that they're still with us.
• 36:41
Speaker 4: So not only our dreams a great way for people
• 36:44
Speaker 4: to kind of come in. Timing is also something important
• 36:47
Speaker 4: to look at as a way that in a vehicle
• 36:49
Speaker 4: of which they communicate.
• 36:50
Speaker 3: And I also want to add in, like you just
• 36:52
Speaker 3: have to believe, like you, if you believe it, then
• 36:56
Speaker 3: it's true to you, you know, and if you like
• 36:58
Speaker 3: when I'm talking to my mom, I never doubt it
• 37:00
Speaker 3: for a second because I want to believe it. You know,
• 37:03
Speaker 3: I would recommend to try not to resist the judgment
• 37:07
Speaker 3: of your communication with your mom. People, don't you know,
• 37:10
Speaker 3: they're not gone. The love that existed, it will always remain,
• 37:14
Speaker 3: and that is a piece of her that you will
• 37:15
Speaker 3: always have, So it's never ever gonna leave, like your
• 37:18
Speaker 3: aura and your energy field, like that's your mom. So
• 37:22
Speaker 3: you have to trust in that, I think energetically to know,
• 37:25
Speaker 3: like you think your mom is just going to die
• 37:27
Speaker 3: and just forget about you and disappear, and did you
• 37:29
Speaker 3: no fucking way is your mom gonna do that?
• 37:32
Speaker 1: Yeah, And also like, what's the harm in believing that?
• 37:35
Speaker 1: Like exactly, you're a total cynic, Like why not be
• 37:37
Speaker 1: like I'm just having a conversation with my mom.
• 37:40
Speaker 4: Well, and truly, there's something to be said about subjective
• 37:43
Speaker 4: you know, truths and objective truths and creativity, love, spirituality.
• 37:47
Speaker 4: They exist very much on the meaning oriented arenas, and
• 37:51
Speaker 4: that's a big part of it. So you know, objective
• 37:54
Speaker 4: truths are the pursuit of science, that's math, you know,
• 37:56
Speaker 4: that's technology. Subjectivity exists and kind of a different realm,
• 38:00
Speaker 4: one that is still valuable and still has meaning, but
• 38:03
Speaker 4: doesn't necessarily have to be understood by everybody around you.
• 38:06
Speaker 3: Right right, You know, if you believe in your mother,
• 38:08
Speaker 3: that's all that matters. If you believe that your mother,
• 38:10
Speaker 3: that you're talking to her and it's so comforting, why
• 38:13
Speaker 3: would you deny yourself that comfort?
• 38:15
  Speaker 2: Exactly?
• 38:15
Speaker 1: And also, like it seems true to your relationship with
• 38:18
Speaker 1: your mom. You checked in two or three times a day.
• 38:20
Speaker 1: You are constantly in conversation, So why wouldn't you still
• 38:23
Speaker 1: be in conversation with her? Why wouldn't she still be
• 38:26
Speaker 1: having a conversation with you? I think that's wonderful.
• 38:29
  Speaker 4: Absolutely.
• 38:30
Speaker 1: Well, let's jump to a caller. I have Amy on
• 38:33
Speaker 1: the line here, Dear Chelsea, my mom very recently passed away.
• 38:39
Speaker 1: I was wondering if, once someone crossed over, if they
• 38:41
Speaker 1: have to prioritize how often they visit loved ones. My
• 38:46
Speaker 1: mom would want to visit her three granddaughters first, and
• 38:48
Speaker 1: then my sister and my dad. I don't know that
• 38:51
Speaker 1: she would feel the need to visit me as much,
• 38:54
Speaker 1: since I'm living an average life with not a lot
• 38:56
Speaker 1: for her to worry about. See if she was a
• 38:58
Speaker 1: big worrier, But I thought I would get the sense
• 39:01
Speaker 1: that she was around me more. I keep thinking maybe
• 39:03
Speaker 1: she's focusing on those that need her presence more. Chelsea.
• 39:07
Speaker 1: Having lost significant family in your life, what has been
• 39:09
Speaker 1: your experience and have you received any signs that they're
• 39:12
Speaker 1: with you? And how often? Hi?
• 39:14
  Speaker 4: Amy?
• 39:15
  Speaker 2: Hi? Amy?
• 39:17
  Speaker 4: Hell?

  Speaker 5: How Hi?
• 39:18
  Speaker 4: Hi?
• 39:19
Speaker 2: This is Tyler Henry. He's our special guest today.
• 39:22
Speaker 4: Hello, Hi, oh, thank you for joining us.
• 39:26
Speaker 2: Wow, So you feel like your mom.
• 39:28
Speaker 3: Do you feel like your siblings or your dad or
• 39:30
Speaker 3: any of the people you mentioned feel her presence at all?
• 39:33
Speaker 2: You know, I think that they do.
• 39:35
Speaker 5: I don't know if I was expecting some grand sign.
• 39:38
Speaker 5: I just kind of wanted to know that she was okay,
• 39:40
Speaker 5: and she died of cancer and it was a difficult passing,
• 39:45
Speaker 5: and it just kind of expected maybe rainbows or forerd
• 39:49
Speaker 5: to land on my shoulder.
• 39:50
Speaker 4: Or something, and absolutely so. Well, first, what I want
• 39:54
Speaker 4: to say, Amy, is I would love if you contacted
• 39:56
Speaker 4: my website. We'll give you a full free membership to
• 39:59
Speaker 4: the Collective where you can take part in group readings
• 40:01
Speaker 4: and see the experience and potentially receive one yourself. So
• 40:04
Speaker 4: we'd love to have you over there. But to your question,
• 40:07
Speaker 4: you know, when it comes to spirituality on a larger scale,
• 40:10
Speaker 4: the analogy I like to use when it comes to
• 40:13
Speaker 4: where they're at is this. I like to say, if
• 40:15
Speaker 4: you imagine that you are in New York City and
• 40:17
Speaker 4: you know there's a car accident that happens two streets over,
• 40:20
Speaker 4: if you are in the middle of the city, you
• 40:22
Speaker 4: know you're not going to be able to see that
• 40:24
Speaker 4: car extent two streets over. But you know who will
• 40:26
Speaker 4: a skyscrapers somebody who's cleaning a skyscraper window washer at
• 40:30
Speaker 4: the very top of the skyscraper from where they're at,
• 40:32
Speaker 4: from where they're situated, would not only be able to
• 40:35
Speaker 4: see you, but would be able to see the car
• 40:36
Speaker 4: accident two streets over. That doesn't make the window washer
• 40:41
Speaker 4: any more enlightened than you and I, but it's from
• 40:44
Speaker 4: where they're situated. From their perspective, they're able to see
• 40:47
Speaker 4: more than perhaps us on kind of a lower level
• 40:51
Speaker 4: of awareness. So they definitely seem to see a lot
• 40:53
Speaker 4: they are with us, but not necessarily one at a time.
• 40:56
Speaker 4: I think that there's an awareness of that collective sense
• 41:00
Speaker 4: of connection that they share.
• 41:02
Speaker 3: Yeah, And I would say, in my experience with my mom,
• 41:05
Speaker 3: like it's not something that's going to fall out of
• 41:06
Speaker 3: the sky and land on your shoulder, you know what
• 41:08
Speaker 3: I mean. They're not tapping you on the shoulder, like
• 41:10
Speaker 3: they're not touching you in that way. I look at
• 41:13
Speaker 3: it as like, oh, that's a reminder that everything's going
• 41:15
Speaker 3: to be okay. And it's also helpful sometimes for you
• 41:18
Speaker 3: to pick a symbol, like something that was meaningful between
• 41:21
Speaker 3: you and your mom. Like with me and my mom,
• 41:23
Speaker 3: it's an orange. Whenever I'm like stressed out and I
• 41:25
Speaker 3: see an orange out of place, I'm like, oh, my
• 41:27
Speaker 3: mom is telling me everything's going to be kosher, It's okay.
• 41:30
Speaker 3: And I think that's a powerful thing to like think
• 41:32
Speaker 3: of something between the two of you and keep your
• 41:35
  Speaker 3: eyes open.
• 41:35
Speaker 2: Don't expect it to come to you.
• 41:38
Speaker 3: You sometimes have to find the signs, you know what
• 41:41
Speaker 3: I mean. It's like everything in life. The more open,
• 41:45
Speaker 3: the more you see, and the more narrow minded, I think,
• 41:48
Speaker 3: the more limited you are, and the less belief you
• 41:50
Speaker 3: have in this kind of possibility.
• 41:52
Speaker 4: And it's beautiful because you kind of create a language.
• 41:54
Speaker 4: Then you know, if you can say this is my sign,
• 41:56
Speaker 4: this is how I would like you to present yourself
• 41:58
Speaker 4: to me if possible, then you kind of have that code.
• 42:00
Speaker 4: You have that language. You are being that bridge and
• 42:03
Speaker 4: making an active effort to communicate and keep that relationship
• 42:06
Speaker 4: going in a different way, but a way.
• 42:08
Speaker 3: Nonetheless, Yeah, I do something, and I'm sure you're probably
• 42:12
Speaker 3: not a comedian, Amy, but so this won't be what
• 42:16
Speaker 3: you do. But I do this thing before I walk
• 42:18
Speaker 3: out on stage. Every time, I do this thing where
• 42:21
Speaker 3: I like look up as if my mom's above me.
• 42:24
Speaker 3: I think everything's above me. But actually Tyler just confirmed
• 42:26
Speaker 3: that everything is above us.
• 42:27
Speaker 2: So I'm glad for that.
• 42:29
Speaker 3: But I always look up and as I'm walking out,
• 42:32
Speaker 3: I'm just right before they call my name, I just
• 42:34
Speaker 3: am like I have these ebulience of light like shining
• 42:38
Speaker 3: down around me, which is my mother, and I'm with
• 42:40
Speaker 3: her and she's with me, and we walk out together
• 42:43
Speaker 3: and that's always how I do it.
• 42:45
Speaker 2: And it feels like I'm being lit from within.
• 42:48
Speaker 3: And so if you can have some of this imagery
• 42:50
Speaker 3: for whatever is an important thing that you do, you know,
• 42:53
Speaker 3: in your day, it doesn't have to be something.
• 42:55
Speaker 2: That's scary or daring.
• 42:56
Speaker 3: It can just be try to invoke your mother's presence,
• 42:59
Speaker 3: really invoke it and be like, Mom, I'm here with you,
• 43:02
Speaker 3: like even if you're you know, you're talking to yourself
• 43:04
Speaker 3: or not speaking out loud and just thinking it like
• 43:06
  Speaker 3: it's powerful.
• 43:07
Speaker 2: Our brains are much more powerful than we give them
• 43:09
Speaker 2: credit for. So trust it absolutely.
• 43:12
Speaker 4: Being able to live vicariously, you know, and allow her
• 43:15
Speaker 4: to live vicariously through every new action, every achievement, every
• 43:18
Speaker 4: new memory, everything you do, every new love that you make,
• 43:21
Speaker 4: every bond that you have, is a way to honor
• 43:23
Speaker 4: her and to allow her to kind of live through
• 43:26
Speaker 4: that in some greater way.
• 43:27
Speaker 2: Oh, I love everything you guys, don awesome love it.
• 43:31
Speaker 4: I knew you would give good advice.
• 43:33
Speaker 2: Oh good, Well, make sure you go over to his website.
• 43:36
Speaker 1: Okay, Amy, Yeah, I'll get you guys connected.
• 43:38
Speaker 4: Absolutely, I'll see you over there.
• 43:40
Speaker 5: Thank you. That, I mean, that really did hit home
• 43:43
Speaker 5: for me, you know, the like I need to not
• 43:45
Speaker 5: wait for her to come to me, I need to
• 43:47
  Speaker 5: communicate back.
• 43:48
Speaker 4: So yes, yes, that really hit.
• 43:51
  Speaker 2: So thank you.
• 43:53
Speaker 4: I have a beautiful rest of your day.
• 43:55
Speaker 2: Thank Tyler. How old are you?
• 44:00
  Speaker 4: Twenty seven?
• 44:00
  Speaker 1: Wow?
• 44:01
Speaker 2: You're very particulate, really really.
• 44:03
Speaker 4: Good moisturizer, and I'm twenty seven.
• 44:05
Speaker 2: It just kind of you have such a good use
• 44:08
  Speaker 2: of language.
• 44:08
Speaker 3: I love when young people speak so eloquently, like your words,
• 44:12
Speaker 3: your vocabulary. It sounds very patronizing probably saying that to you,
• 44:15
Speaker 3: but I just love language, and I love when someone
• 44:17
  Speaker 3: speaks effortlessly.
• 44:19
Speaker 4: Well that means well, I had a brain injury, of
• 44:20
Speaker 4: all things, in a brain surgery when I was eighteen,
• 44:22
Speaker 4: so it actually really affected my ability to I get
• 44:25
Speaker 4: a phasia where I can't talk, So that that actually
• 44:27
Speaker 4: really it's a huge compliment. Thank you.
• 44:30
Speaker 3: Yeah, Well, you're probably over corrected right because of your
• 44:33
Speaker 3: brain injury, that you probably work even harder at speaking.
• 44:36
Speaker 4: So well, well, I try my best, but thank you.
• 44:38
Speaker 4: It means a lot.
• 44:39
Speaker 1: Did you have to like relearn a lot of language
• 44:41
Speaker 1: and that sort of thing.
• 44:42
Speaker 4: It was a whole process. It's you know, you have
• 44:45
Speaker 4: the words inside, but to get them out was really
• 44:47
Speaker 4: the challenge of what is often the case of brain surgery.
• 44:49
Speaker 4: So it's been a lot kind of slowing down. You know,
• 44:52
Speaker 4: you have a lot that you want to say, but
• 44:53
Speaker 4: you just kind of have to take one word at
• 44:55
  Speaker 4: a time.
• 44:56
Speaker 1: So well, our next question comes from Whitney. Dear Chelsea,
• 45:02
Speaker 1: I've been going back and forth for a couple of
• 45:04
Speaker 1: years about seeking out a medium to help me with
• 45:06
Speaker 1: my grief. She had lost a couple of grandparents who
• 45:08
Speaker 1: were really influential in her life. But I'm very skeptical
• 45:12
Speaker 1: and have no idea how to determine if a medium
• 45:14
Speaker 1: in my area is legitimate or not. I'm assuming that
• 45:17
Speaker 1: mediums who've gained national success must be the real deal,
• 45:21
Speaker 1: but then at that point they're probably out of my
• 45:22
Speaker 1: price range. To say that my grief bogs me down
• 45:25
Speaker 1: is an understatement, and I'm not even sure that this
• 45:28
Speaker 1: would be the way to finally have a sense of
• 45:30
Speaker 1: relief in my life. But I've tried every other avenue
• 45:33
Speaker 1: so far. I've been to grief counseling, I've seen therapists,
• 45:36
Speaker 1: I've been medicated. I've tried to wear my grief out
• 45:38
Speaker 1: like it's a toddler, but nothing is helping. I know
• 45:41
Speaker 1: I'll never completely not feel this loss, and I know
• 45:45
Speaker 1: that I'll always wish they were still physically here, but
• 45:47
Speaker 1: I need this enormous weight lifted off my chest. Is
• 45:50
  Speaker 1: a medium?
• 45:50
Speaker 3: The answer, Whitney, Yeah, what do you do with somebody
• 45:55
Speaker 3: is having such a difficult time with their grief?
• 45:57
  Speaker 4: Like?
• 45:57
Speaker 2: What advice can you give someone?
• 46:00
Speaker 4: Sure? Well, for one, I think expectation management is good
• 46:03
Speaker 4: and medium will never be the answer or a cure
• 46:05
Speaker 4: all for grief, but it certainly if you find a
• 46:07
Speaker 4: good one can affirm and validate that bond and the
• 46:11
Speaker 4: fact that that bond still continues, and that's really, in essence,
• 46:13
Speaker 4: what any good medium should strive to do. But I
• 46:16
Speaker 4: look at mediumship as that of a practice, and being
• 46:19
Speaker 4: that it's a practice, they are practitioners. And just as
• 46:23
Speaker 4: there are many practitioners in this world, doctors know therapists.
• 46:27
Speaker 4: You want to make sure that if you're seeing a
• 46:28
Speaker 4: practitioner you're going to somebody who is legitimate, and the
• 46:31
Speaker 4: way to do that in this world, in the world
• 46:33
Speaker 4: of mediums, which is unregulated, there is no better business bureau, which,
• 46:37
Speaker 4: to my frustration, is the case. I think it's very
• 46:40
Speaker 4: important to go through word of mouth, to go through recommendation.
• 46:43
Speaker 4: Going to somebody that you know comes under high recommendation
• 46:47
Speaker 4: from somebody you trust, somebody you know and have a
• 46:50
Speaker 4: relationship with, it tends to be the best way. And equally,
• 46:54
Speaker 4: some of the best readings I've ever received were for
• 46:56
Speaker 4: free from people who were not even working as mediums
• 47:00
Speaker 4: full time. So there are very talented people that exist
• 47:03
Speaker 4: among us who may not openly work as a medium,
• 47:06
Speaker 4: but might still be able to help you out, and
• 47:08
Speaker 4: you'll find them through word of mouth.
• 47:10
Speaker 3: And are there like group mediums, you know, like where
• 47:12
Speaker 3: people can do it if they can't afford something like
• 47:14
Speaker 3: you mentioned that on your website, which is also something
• 47:16
  Speaker 3: you can explore.
• 47:17
Speaker 2: But like, are there a group things where you go
• 47:19
Speaker 2: to a root? So is a lot of people I
• 47:21
Speaker 2: don't know, is that common?
• 47:23
Speaker 4: So there is a community called lily Dell actually in
• 47:26
Speaker 4: northern New York, which is just that people take entire
• 47:28
Speaker 4: tourist destinations to this gated community. In New York, there's
• 47:32
Speaker 4: been a spiritualist retreat where mediums live on site and
• 47:35
Speaker 4: do readings, and it's an entire kind of tourist industry there.
• 47:39
Speaker 4: So there's certainly that in theory. I think there's something
• 47:42
Speaker 4: to be said about just individual experience and being able
• 47:45
Speaker 4: to kind of seek out individual practitioners without giving them information,
• 47:50
Speaker 4: and just kind of understanding when you walk into a
• 47:53
Speaker 4: medium reading, you know your loved one more than any medium.
• 47:56
Speaker 4: You know they love one's essence. You know how they'd
• 47:59
Speaker 4: be and clind to deliver information. And so I think
• 48:01
Speaker 4: it's just important to trust that more than any message
• 48:04
Speaker 4: you hear. You know you know and will know if
• 48:06
  Speaker 4: there's a connection being made.
• 48:08
Speaker 3: And also I just want to say, Whitney, your grandparent
• 48:10
Speaker 3: wouldn't want you to be suffering in this way. This
• 48:13
Speaker 3: is heartbreaking. No one wants their grandchild to suffer at
• 48:16
Speaker 3: the loss of her. So that's something to also contemplate.
• 48:20
Speaker 3: Think about the impact, Like you have an opportunity to
• 48:23
Speaker 3: live your life in honor of your grandmother.
• 48:25
Speaker 2: And like live the life, live your life in an
• 48:28
  Speaker 2: essence for her.
• 48:29
Speaker 3: I mean, no one should be living their lives for
• 48:31
Speaker 3: another person, but in a way, she can vicariously live
• 48:34
Speaker 3: through you and you can invoke her essence for your life.
• 48:39
Speaker 3: That's a very powerful way to keep those relationships close
• 48:44
  Speaker 3: to your heart.
• 48:45
Speaker 2: Even though they may feel far away. And I would
• 48:48
Speaker 2: suggest to try and practice that, you know, to try and.
• 48:51
Speaker 3: Live, live out loud, live your life fully, and try
• 48:54
Speaker 3: to really get to a place where you can be
• 48:58
Speaker 3: joyful again. It's not it's easier said than done, but
• 49:00
Speaker 3: if you do it with the idea of your grandmother
• 49:03
Speaker 3: really just kind of smacking you on the butt, like
• 49:06
Speaker 3: I want you to have.
• 49:07
  Speaker 2: The best life.
• 49:07
Speaker 3: This is your chance, Like, please don't get hung up
• 49:10
Speaker 3: on my passing. I want you to succeed and love
• 49:13
Speaker 3: and live and all of those things. You know that
• 49:16
Speaker 3: she would want that for you, absolutely, And.
• 49:18
Speaker 4: We owe it to them to remember them for who
• 49:20
Speaker 4: they were and how they lived versus that one moment
• 49:23
Speaker 4: that caused them to transition. And I think it's interesting
• 49:27
Speaker 4: the sense that Maya Angelou, one of my favorites, had
• 49:30
Speaker 4: a quote about similar to Chelsea, when she would go
• 49:32
Speaker 4: on stage, she'd call upon her departed mother, she call
• 49:35
Speaker 4: upon her ancestors, her grandmother, and she said by the
• 49:38
Speaker 4: time she walked on stage, she wasn't walking on that
• 49:40
Speaker 4: stage alone. She came with an army of people who
• 49:43
Speaker 4: loved her. And I think we really are a culmination
• 49:46
Speaker 4: of the love we are given in this world. So
• 49:48
Speaker 4: to be able to harness that, to call upon that
• 49:51
Speaker 4: essence and invoke as Chelsea says, it's such a powerful
• 49:54
Speaker 4: way to still feel that connection even if that physical
• 49:56
Speaker 4: bond is no longer there.
• 49:58
Speaker 1: Chelsea and I talked about this on a recent epid.
• 50:00
Speaker 1: So sometimes when you try to push something away, a
• 50:03
Speaker 1: feeling away, it makes it worse. And so think of
• 50:07
Speaker 1: your grief as sort of something that you bring along
• 50:09
Speaker 1: with you. It doesn't mean you can't have joy in
• 50:11
Speaker 1: your life, it doesn't mean you can't go about your
• 50:13
Speaker 1: day to day, but that grief is a reminder of
• 50:16
Speaker 1: the closeness that you shared with those people. And when
• 50:19
Speaker 1: you feel that sense of grief, be reminded that that
• 50:22
Speaker 1: person is still with you and that you do still
• 50:26
Speaker 1: have relationship with them. They're right there. That grief is
• 50:29
Speaker 1: part of that relationship, and bring it along with you.
• 50:32
Speaker 1: Feel it when you need to feel it, but also
• 50:35
Speaker 1: know like it's okay to have that at the same
• 50:37
Speaker 1: time as you're having maybe a joyful moment or something
• 50:39
Speaker 1: was funny, or you know, you're living your life day
• 50:42
Speaker 1: to day. It's okay that that's sort of a passenger
• 50:44
Speaker 1: with you right now. I actually have a question for you, Tyler.
• 50:48
Speaker 1: What do you think about like reincarnation. Do you think
• 50:51
Speaker 1: people can come back?
• 50:54
Speaker 4: So I don't view reincarnation as a linear process, like
• 50:57
Speaker 4: a line. So the traditional view is the ring nation
• 51:00
Speaker 4: is you're born, you die, you're reborn, and you die,
• 51:03
Speaker 4: you're reborn, you die in kind of a line, right,
• 51:06
Speaker 4: And so my belief is that we as a soul
• 51:10
Speaker 4: are a lot more multifasted than we realize. And in essence,
• 51:14
Speaker 4: the best way to describe it is, I think we
• 51:16
Speaker 4: basically can exist in many different forms at once. And
• 51:21
Speaker 4: it looks like we are living our individual little lives
• 51:23
Speaker 4: on our individual little timelines. But my belief is that
• 51:26
Speaker 4: in many ways we kind of have many tentacles in
• 51:30
Speaker 4: many different arenas. And it's very kind of uncomfortable sometimes
• 51:34
Speaker 4: to think about, and it kind of gets into philosophy
• 51:36
Speaker 4: of determinism and all of these things. But I believe
• 51:39
Speaker 4: in a higher self that when we transition we become
• 51:42
Speaker 4: part of something greater than ourselves that has always been
• 51:45
Speaker 4: a part of us, and we kind of reunite with
• 51:48
Speaker 4: that part, and then part of us might you know,
• 51:50
Speaker 4: continue on in other incarnations, but that kind of soul
• 51:54
Speaker 4: essence of us always exists, and I think is always
• 51:56
Speaker 4: retaining information. And that is why I believe I do
• 51:59
Speaker 4: readings for people even if they've reincarnated, which maybe they have,
• 52:02
Speaker 4: maybe they haven't. I'm still able to get information about
• 52:04
Speaker 4: that life, who that person was, even if that's continued on.
• 52:09
Speaker 4: And it's hard to say, you know, it's one of
• 52:11
Speaker 4: those things. It's one of those great mysteries.
• 52:13
Speaker 1: Well, let's take a quick break and we'll be back
• 52:15
Speaker 1: for our last question with Tyler and Chelsea.
• 52:22
  Speaker 2: And we're back.
• 52:23
Speaker 1: We're back. Well, our last question comes from Stephanie Dear Chelsea,
• 52:29
Speaker 1: longtime listener, first time writer. I've always wanted to say
• 52:32
Speaker 1: that when it comes to mediums, I must admit that
• 52:37
  Speaker 1: I'm a bit of a skeptic. I'm a nurse practitioner,
• 52:40
Speaker 1: and so I'm very science minded, but I also greatly
• 52:43
Speaker 1: want to believe that there are forces greater than us
• 52:46
Speaker 1: that we can't comprehend or measure now to the reason
• 52:49
Speaker 1: I'm writing. My mom passed away this week. She was
• 52:52
Speaker 1: an unstoppable force. When I was six, she was shot
• 52:55
Speaker 1: and paralyzed from the waist down by an accidental gunshot
• 52:58
Speaker 1: wound by a child. She had severe pain for thirty
• 53:01
Speaker 1: one years, but never took any pain medication because she
• 53:04
Speaker 1: wanted to keep her mental capacities sharp. She raised two
• 53:07
Speaker 1: children as a single mom, became CEO of a large
• 53:10
Speaker 1: nonprofit organization, sat on two prominent boards in our community,
• 53:14
Speaker 1: and showed unlimited love to everyone, especially my four and
• 53:17
Speaker 1: nine year old. As you can tell, she was someone
• 53:19
Speaker 1: really special. I cared for her in her last month,
• 53:23
Speaker 1: and I wish I knew how to know she was
• 53:25
Speaker 1: at peace. Tell her we're okay, and that's because she's
• 53:29
Speaker 1: given us all the tools we need to be okay.
• 53:31
Speaker 1: Thank you so much for your show. It's a highlight
• 53:34
Speaker 1: of my week. So I think the biggest question is
• 53:36
Speaker 1: how does she let her mom know that they're all okay?
• 53:39
Speaker 1: And how does she know that her mom is okay
• 53:40
Speaker 1: and that she passed without too much pain.
• 53:43
Speaker 4: Absolutely Well, you know, I think we often do understandably
• 53:46
Speaker 4: get very focused on what causes someone to transition. Even
• 53:50
Speaker 4: under the best of circumstances. So many of us relived
• 53:53
Speaker 4: those last moments or our last interaction, or what could
• 53:56
Speaker 4: have been said or what could have been done, even
• 53:58
Speaker 4: under the best of circumstance answers. So I think it's
• 54:00
Speaker 4: a very normal place to be in grief, you know.
• 54:03
Speaker 4: I just think when it comes to that awareness, if
• 54:07
Speaker 4: you look at who she was in life, clearly she
• 54:09
Speaker 4: prioritized her children and the generations of family that came
• 54:13
Speaker 4: after her. And so I would say, as you revel
• 54:16
Speaker 4: in every moment, as you reach you know, achievements and
• 54:20
Speaker 4: accomplishments and those big landmark moments, find ways to implement
• 54:24
Speaker 4: her into those moments. What maybe you know, we wear
• 54:27
Speaker 4: a piece of jewelry and every time we look at
• 54:29
Speaker 4: that jewelry we think of mom or whatever it may be.
• 54:33
Speaker 4: There's ways to still carry them on and allow them
• 54:35
Speaker 4: to kind of live vicariously. But you know, I think
• 54:38
Speaker 4: that's one of the great equalizers of death, is that
• 54:40
Speaker 4: in essence, no matter what we're going through, it does
• 54:42
Speaker 4: allow for some closure of physical suffering. And that's just
• 54:46
Speaker 4: a moment in time that's not someone's eternity exactly.
• 54:50
Speaker 3: Yeah, you have to know that people who have crossed
• 54:52
Speaker 3: over are at peace, like you're not in your body anymore,
• 54:55
Speaker 3: so there's no bodily suffering. And I would it would
• 55:00
Speaker 3: be a big leap of faith to think that they're
• 55:02
Speaker 3: suffering beyond this earth, you know what I mean. This
• 55:04
Speaker 3: earth I think has so much suffering already. I mean,
• 55:07
Speaker 3: what you're talking about is you're suffering, you know, at
• 55:10
Speaker 3: the loss of your mom. But I when people wreck
• 55:12
Speaker 3: themselves over the circumstances in which somebody passed, like, oh,
• 55:15
Speaker 3: they were in such pain it was, even when it's
• 55:18
Speaker 3: a hard crossing, as they say, at least they're not
• 55:21
Speaker 3: suffering anymore. Like that's what's necessary to get them out
• 55:24
Speaker 3: of their body and to stop the suffering. So you
• 55:27
Speaker 3: have to believe that your mother is at peace, regardless
• 55:30
Speaker 3: of how she died, She's at peace now, you know.
• 55:33
Speaker 3: I mean, I think you just have to believe that,
• 55:34
Speaker 3: and you have to know that and just keep telling
• 55:37
Speaker 3: yourself that and keep showing her, you know, in the
• 55:39
Speaker 3: ways that Tyler suggested, to keep living your life with her.
• 55:43
Speaker 3: You know, not that it's over, she's gone, but your
• 55:46
Speaker 3: relationship with her will never be over.
• 55:48
Speaker 4: And you know, just last point with the nursing aspects,
• 55:51
Speaker 4: there's so many hospice nurses that have shared firsthand experiences
• 55:55
Speaker 4: of you know, their own grief and also seeing you know,
• 55:58
Speaker 4: patients at the end of life have very compelling experiences.
• 56:02
Speaker 4: So I would encourage it.
• 56:03
Speaker 2: Ask coworkers, Yeah, tell us about your tour, Tyler, Yeah,
• 56:07
  Speaker 2: so very much.
• 56:08
Speaker 4: Hitting the road been very busy.
• 56:10
Speaker 2: Yeah, I've seen it on Instagram. You're on fire.
• 56:13
Speaker 4: Oh, it's been so so much fun. I've been really thankful.
• 56:16
Speaker 4: We've had a sold out tour all across the country
• 56:18
Speaker 4: and it's been intense. Every year of twenty six cities,
• 56:22
Speaker 4: I travel all across Midwest to the South, and it's
• 56:25
Speaker 4: in a group setting, so it's anywhere from two thousand
• 56:27
Speaker 4: to three thousand people. I share a little bit about
• 56:29
Speaker 4: my story and what people need to know to get
• 56:31
Speaker 4: the most out of readings, and then it turns into
• 56:34
Speaker 4: a group reading and it's different every single time. You know,
• 56:36
Speaker 4: people come in as strangers and by the end of it,
• 56:38
Speaker 4: they're hugging and it's just a really beautiful experience to
• 56:41
Speaker 4: be able to have that outlet in a society that
• 56:44
Speaker 4: doesn't allow for people to talk about grief. Very much
• 56:47
Speaker 4: to have people come together and feel comfortable honoring that
• 56:51
Speaker 4: vulnerability and what they've gotten through in a shared way.
• 56:53
Speaker 2: Great, and people can get tickets at over at.
• 56:56
Speaker 4: Tyler Henry Hollywood medium dot com. You can check out
• 56:58
Speaker 4: tickets and my full tours get and there's more to come.
• 57:01
Speaker 3: Oh well, that's so excellent. You're doing such a great service.
• 57:05
Speaker 3: How nice is it to do what you love and
• 57:07
Speaker 3: have it be so helpful to people?
• 57:09
  Speaker 1: Right?
• 57:10
Speaker 4: I feel so privileged and so humbled every single time.
• 57:13
Speaker 4: I mean it truly is mind blowing, and it just
• 57:15
Speaker 4: reminds me of why we have to live mindfully and
• 57:19
Speaker 4: it gives me a deep sense of gratitude and ever
• 57:21
  Speaker 4: reading I do, I think there's a message for me
• 57:23
  Speaker 4: as well. Well.
• 57:24
Speaker 2: Was a pleasure speaking with you. I hope I get
• 57:26
Speaker 2: to see you again soon.
• 57:27
Speaker 4: Absolutely, And if you need anything, either of you, if
• 57:31
Speaker 4: I can help in any capacity, if you have any
• 57:33
Speaker 4: follow up readings, friend's family, I'm here and I would
• 57:35
Speaker 4: love to stay in touch.
• 57:36
Speaker 2: Okay, thank you, We.
• 57:39
