- 0:15SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: And I love you even though Satchel doesn't.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: Thank you for being able to own it, even though you live in Florida.
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: It's not that I don't, I still need to say.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: Well, you know what?
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: Somebody's got to start.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: Somebody's got to be the now.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: See, here's the funny part.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Satch always, you know, his podcast, he's a game changer, and he's, you know, breaking rules and setting the setting the bar, but he's he's not he he can't wear a purse.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: Someone's got to kind of own it and go, hey, knuckleheads, this is smarter.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: And someone's got to be the first, and that's you.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: The difference between Satchel and myself is that Satchel's a trendsetter.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: I'm not a trendsetter.
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: He he he could do this, and he would have the entire restaurant wearing purses by the end of the shift, I guarantee you.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: So why don't so then maybe it's your job to convince him to man up and wear a purse.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: I clicked on speaker, so now you you can you can try your best.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: And I don't there's like part of his masculinity that gets in the way of his mentality.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: Part of masculinity is being smart, right?
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: And and man up and wear a purse.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: I could even see it being a sh a satchel shirt, one of those t-shirts he does.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: Man up and wear a purse.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: Like that, I think, I think this could be a thing where where Florida, Florida as a whole, the think about this.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: You guys, you two, and I'm putting this on you Wells now, you you two might be responsible if you have the guts to elevate the IQ of all the dudes in Florida just by making the smart decision to carry an item that holds all your shit.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: It's called cargo pants.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: They come in shorts and long pants.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: One item that holds all your shit.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: And here's the thing.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: Think about this.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: I get home, I take off my purse that's got all my shit, and I put it down.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: It's got all my shit.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: In the morning, I wake up, I get dressed in whatever.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: So I don't have to wear cargo pants.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: I can wear shorts with no with no pockets.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: Pick up my purse, it's got everything in it.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: You wear shorts with no pockets?
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: It's got sometimes I wear a skirt.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: It's got um, it's got it's got my seven kinds of my seven pairs of glasses.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: It's got my, you know, if I have medication, because I'm an old person now and I gotta have these things.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: It's got all of that.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: It's got my wallet, which is the size of a football.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: Um, it's got my phone.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: It's got it's got my uh breath mints in there.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: It used to.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: Here's the big one.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: You guys ready for this?
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: Men?
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: I think I I think we talked about this.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: Uh the tampon.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: I you did talk about it.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: All fathers, all fathers should be, if they have daughters and a wife, should be wearing, having this with them, you know.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: And now here's the funny part.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: When before I was smart and had a purse, I would have to be tell my ask my wife, like, hey, will you carry, can you carry this, or can you put all this?
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: Now she asks me.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: I'm like, yes, yes, I can carry, I can carry what you need.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: If you need me to carry something, I can do that because I have this item on my body that and guess what?
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: I have like five of them.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: I've different kinds, you know.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: If I gotta dress it up, dress it down, you know, like it's a thing.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: And and guess what?
- 4:10SPEAKER_01: You have different colors, purses?
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: Hell yes.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: And guess what?
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: When I go to a thrift store, I I do two, I stop, I stop two places, shoes and purses.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: High heels.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: Shoes and purses.
- 4:26SPEAKER_01: So let me ask, because I haven't seen what kind of purse you carry.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: What is your typical style purse?
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: Well, right now, currently what I'm wearing is like an oversized.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: Well, I guess what you would call a fanny pack.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: That's what some people would call it, but it's big and I wear it over my shoulder.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: Like it's a crossbody, they call them crossbody.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, those are very trendy right now.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: See, trendy and hip and smart.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: But why but I guess not in Florida.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: But you you wear it crossbody, right?
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: You you're you never wear it just over your shoulder.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: It's always crossbody because if it's on my shoulder, it falls off.
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: And that's cooler, and that's cooler and manlier.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: It's much more manly to go crossbody.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: Whatever.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: It's smarter.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: It's not about manly or not manly, it's just smart.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: And here's the thing: when I have my purse on, my crossbody, um, whether it's a big, big fanny pack or or my purse or whatever, there's times where I'll have it on most of the day.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: It's just I'm editing, I'm working, it's just on.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, just keep it on.
- 5:29SPEAKER_01: You're just ready whenever you got everything available.
- 5:32SPEAKER_01: Whatever you need.
- 5:34SPEAKER_01: Well, there's there's another thought to this, which is slim down how many things you carry, and then you could put them back in your pockets.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: Like I carry four things, only four things.
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: That's all.
- 5:45SPEAKER_01: You know what EDC is?
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: EDC.
- 5:47SPEAKER_01: You know about EDC.
- 5:49SPEAKER_01: Back up.
- 5:49SPEAKER_01: How old are you?
- 5:51SPEAKER_01: 55.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: Well, you're getting there.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: I don't have enough pills or glasses.
- 5:56SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: You have four things.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: What are the four things?
- 6:00SPEAKER_01: Uh, my phone, my wallet, my ear pods, and my lip balm.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: Okay, but no tampons.
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, I don't need any of those.
- 6:14SPEAKER_01: You know, I'm not expecting any uh unclaudable wounds or uh, you know, those kind of things.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: You know, you don't have daughters.
- 6:21SPEAKER_01: Well, I do, but she's elsewhere.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: She's not in the proximity of me.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right.
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: She's not gonna.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: I get you.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: And but and you don't have an extra pair of glasses.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: Like I have a pair of sunglasses, and my sunglasses are big.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: They're like wraparound glasses because long blue blockers.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: No, no, just I because I well, it doesn't matter why, but my black my sunglasses are big.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: They can't just, you know, so yeah, you can't stick them in your pocket.
- 6:51SPEAKER_01: I I follow you.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:53SPEAKER_01: Well, I I I'm not I'm not knocking the uh the purse.
- 6:57SPEAKER_01: I I like I like the purse.
- 6:59SPEAKER_01: It's just the I think the marketing of it, um, when you talk about it being uh a fanny pack that's you know crossbody, that seems more manly.
- 7:10SPEAKER_01: And I know you're not shooting for the manly thing.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: I'm just saying that to to reach out to the wider audience to make it acceptable.
- 7:17SPEAKER_01: I think you got to go a little bit more that route.
- 7:19SPEAKER_01: And that's what you're seeing in the in in more and more.
- 7:23SPEAKER_01: I mean, I'm walking around the streets, I see people wearing those things all the time.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: So there you go.
- 7:27SPEAKER_01: It's not rare, it's not rare at all.
- 7:29SPEAKER_01: There you go.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: And they're probably younger.
- 7:32SPEAKER_01: I don't think they're calling them purses.
- 7:34SPEAKER_01: Like, that's my point, right?
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: Well, that's the other thing.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: I can't stand when people say, Oh, you have a man purse?
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: Nope.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: You have a merse, nope, I have a purse.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: It's a purse with a P.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: It's not in the dictionary, any other way, it's a purse.
- 7:44SPEAKER_01: Just yeah, but it could be a satchel.
- 7:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it could be a fanny pack or a crossbody.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: It doesn't need to be anything, it's a purse.
- 7:52SPEAKER_00: Just make a purse, just wear a purse satchel, just wear one.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: It's smart, you will love it.
- 7:58SPEAKER_01: Well, I know what he's getting.
