- Gary: I am Gary Hults from North Man Coaching, and today's devotional comes from Acts chapter 9, verse 36. We meet a disciple named Tabitha, also called Dorcas. Scripture describes her as someone who consistently did good and helped the poor. Later in the passage, after she dies, Grieving widows show Peter the clothing that she had made. Think about that. They have something to hold in their hands because she cared enough to do something for them. What evidence of your love can the people in your life point to? Your daughter doesn't just need to hear that she matters. She needs your attention. Your friend who is struggling doesn't need. Let me know if you need anything. Sometimes He needs you to call and ask how he is actually doing. And the person that you keep saying you appreciate might need you to finally show it.
