- 0:13Speaker 1: Hello, Welcome to the Naughty but Nice Shower. I'm your host,
- 0:18Speaker 1: Rob Shooter, and its thirst name, which means our dear friend.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Mark Lupo joins us. Hey, Lupy are you there? Lupy
- 0:25Speaker 1: lewis here? Hey, Liby, look all refreshed. I know you're
- 0:29Speaker 1: rushing out the door right after we finished this podcast.
- 0:32Speaker 1: You look very professional? Is this what you wear for
- 0:34Speaker 1: your day job? I try to like professional. Take a
- 0:37Speaker 1: shower on my hair. I mean that is a professional.
- 0:41Speaker 1: That's called normal, I hope. I mean, like, yeah, take
- 0:43Speaker 1: a shower, brush your hair. This is a good look.
- 0:46Speaker 1: What's on the bottom half. I can just see your
- 0:48Speaker 1: white shirt, jeans, crisp blue cargo pants. Oh nice? Oh good?
- 0:54Speaker 1: You have to, don't you. I mean, we've worked in
- 0:56Speaker 1: different media jobs for a long time now, and I've
- 1:00Speaker 1: got to admit, the people that turn up every day
- 1:04Speaker 1: looking quite sharp are the ones that generally get ahead.
- 1:08Speaker 1: And I'm not sure if they're more talented. But if
- 1:11Speaker 1: you do look the part, I do think it helps.
- 1:14Speaker 1: The reality is we're always judging people's appearances, were admitted
- 1:17Speaker 1: or not. We're always looking at making assumptions and judgments,
- 1:21Speaker 1: and so I try to look my best when I can. Yeah,
- 1:23Speaker 1: you've got to look the right part for the right job.
- 1:27Speaker 1: So if you're a clown, you can come dressed. There's
- 1:29Speaker 1: a clown. If you're not a clown, then you shouldn't
- 1:32Speaker 1: be dressed like that. And so some of the early
- 1:35Speaker 1: advice I got when I first started doing TV was
- 1:37Speaker 1: Diane Sawyer, I know, called me. I knew her a
- 1:40Speaker 1: little bit and she called me and she's like, well,
- 1:41Speaker 1: you're tricking on TV and you're very natural and you're authentic,
- 1:45Speaker 1: which is which is all flattering, but she said none
- 1:47Speaker 1: of that matters because you're wearing dark colors. She was like,
- 1:52Speaker 1: just pop. She's like, on TV, you've got to wear
- 1:55Speaker 1: a bright color sweater, bright color jumper. And I was like,
- 1:59Speaker 1: what is that so shallow, Diane, it's so silly, shooley,
- 2:03Speaker 1: it's not about the way I look when you're as
- 2:05Speaker 1: smart and as witty as me, And she said, Robert,
- 2:09Speaker 1: wear a bright sweater. The next day she sent me
- 2:11Speaker 1: a box of sweaters. I'm dying, saw ided saw Yeah,
- 2:15Speaker 1: I know I've got a few of them. Still, I
- 2:18Speaker 1: know I've got a bit upseex. I spilt some tea
- 2:20Speaker 1: on one and some chocolate and we've got like a
- 2:22Speaker 1: little moth holes, but I've got a few left. But whatever,
- 2:25Speaker 1: I go on TV. If I want to make an impact,
- 2:27Speaker 1: I always now wear something bright, which is quite out
- 2:30Speaker 1: of my comfort zone because I really like a black
- 2:32Speaker 1: T shirt. You do, but you always look good on TV.
- 2:34Speaker 1: We've got to do it. You gotta look the part.
- 2:36Speaker 1: So today, before you leave the house, everybody, have a
- 2:38Speaker 1: look in the mirror and say to yourself, do I
- 2:41Speaker 1: look like the job I want to have? That's the
- 2:44Speaker 1: only question. Do I look like the job I want
- 2:47Speaker 1: to have? Look at us giving out moments of rub
- 2:50Speaker 1: before we even get to the end of the show, Mark,
- 2:52Speaker 1: let's jump into the real show. What time is it?
- 2:54Speaker 1: My friends? It is time? So Harry and Megan are
- 2:59Speaker 1: in and a fish shall stand off the royal family
- 3:02Speaker 1: ahead of the Corron nation. So the invites are going
- 3:06Speaker 1: to be sent out in the next few days, and
- 3:07Speaker 1: nobody's been invited yet, and everybody now is speculating will
- 3:11Speaker 1: Harry and Megan actually attend. We know they are getting invited,
- 3:16Speaker 1: so let's take that off the table. They will definitely
- 3:19Speaker 1: get an invite. So now let's shift our focus on
- 3:23Speaker 1: whether or not they will actually accept the invitation, so
- 3:28Speaker 1: the couple is still undecided about whether or not to go.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Sources close to the couple are saying they are holding
- 3:34Speaker 1: out for an apology from the Royals, which Harry sort
- 3:38Speaker 1: of hinted was a condition of their attendance. And although
- 3:41Speaker 1: Harry will have no ceremonial role in the in the
- 3:45Speaker 1: big Corron Nation, his dad, Prince Charles, would really like
- 3:50Speaker 1: to have his son there for this really huge, huge day.
- 3:54Speaker 1: I think Harry has painted himself into a little bit
- 3:56Speaker 1: of a corner here by suggesting that in a apology
- 4:00Speaker 1: is required actually a condition of him attending. When he
- 4:04Speaker 1: did an interview with I t V just last month,
- 4:07Speaker 1: plomoting his book, he said, quote, there's a lot that
- 4:11Speaker 1: can happen between now and then talking about now and
- 4:14Speaker 1: the Coron Nation, but you know the door is always open.
- 4:17Speaker 1: And this is the key sentence mark the ball is
- 4:19Speaker 1: in their court. My royal insiders are telling me they
- 4:24Speaker 1: don't feel like the ball is in their court at all.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Like they're going to invite him and if he comes, great,
- 4:29Speaker 1: but they don't think they're going to have some big summit.
- 4:32Speaker 1: There's going to be no big official apology before they
- 4:36Speaker 1: pop the crown on Charles's head. He's not going to
- 4:38Speaker 1: turn to Megan and Harry and say I'm so sorry,
- 4:42Speaker 1: like this is what it is now. And so they
- 4:44Speaker 1: will be invited, which I think is a good move
- 4:47Speaker 1: because you look really petty when you don't invite people.
- 4:51Speaker 1: I think for many Royals they hope they don't come.
- 4:54Speaker 1: What do you think about all this? I think this
- 4:56Speaker 1: is the final moment for them to really kind of
- 4:58Speaker 1: fix the family. You know, they have lost, they have
- 5:00Speaker 1: no leverage at this point, they have no like to
- 5:02Speaker 1: stand on. Harry has given up all the family secrets.
- 5:04Speaker 1: He said everything in the book and the documentary. Uh,
- 5:07Speaker 1: you know, I don't think they're gonna apologize, but I
- 5:09Speaker 1: do think you should go and start to work on
- 5:11Speaker 1: fixing your relationship. Yeah, I agree for you. I agree.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Have you ever had a big party. Obviously you're not
- 5:17Speaker 1: the king, but have you ever had a big party
- 5:19Speaker 1: and there's someone you didn't want to invite but you
- 5:21Speaker 1: got to You've got to invite them, you have to.
- 5:24Speaker 1: And I think, especially rob to what you said, it's
- 5:26Speaker 1: like the family would look terrible and they know they could,
- 5:29Speaker 1: and they love the pr they love an article, you know,
- 5:31Speaker 1: they love it, So they don't want to be painted
- 5:33Speaker 1: as like, you know, nasty or mean or cold. They
- 5:35Speaker 1: want to be thinking as like embracing and welcoming and warm.
- 5:38Speaker 1: That's exactly what they're gonna do. That's what they're gonna do.
- 5:41Speaker 1: You know, when they said the invite to Harry and
- 5:44Speaker 1: Megan in California, I predict they send a copy of
- 5:47Speaker 1: that invite to me and the media the same thing.
- 5:49Speaker 1: They're going to definitely let the media know that they
- 5:52Speaker 1: got an invite. There will be a photographer at the
- 5:55Speaker 1: bottom of Harry and Megan's driveway when some Royal ambassador
- 6:00Speaker 1: drops off the invite. We're definitely going to see on
- 6:02Speaker 1: TMC and radar and we're definitely going to see that invite.
- 6:05Speaker 1: They're going to invite them. Do they go? Do they not?
- 6:09Speaker 1: I think for me, it's a moment to put aside
- 6:13Speaker 1: the job. Let's figure that out later and now focus
- 6:16Speaker 1: on the family and do we want to be part
- 6:19Speaker 1: of this family? Because there are certain things if you
- 6:21Speaker 1: start missing weddings. Obviously we don't have coronations in our families,
- 6:25Speaker 1: but they do. When you start missing really big events
- 6:29Speaker 1: in your family life. You're just no longer really part
- 6:32Speaker 1: of that family. No, no, no, no. And it's like
- 6:35Speaker 1: he even said he hasn't spoken to his family and
- 6:38Speaker 1: spent a long time since the book. If it's not this,
- 6:41Speaker 1: then when is it, Rob It's not going to be right. No,
- 6:43Speaker 1: really good point, which brings us to our pole question.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Are the day Harriet and Megan are at a standoff
- 6:50Speaker 1: with the royals ahead of the coronation? Should they attend?
- 6:55Speaker 1: Should they attend? They are going to be invited? Should
- 6:58Speaker 1: they attend? Go vote on Twitter page at Naughty Nice
- 7:02Speaker 1: rabback Facebook page. Isnt belsime? I mean sure Jack beg
- 7:07Speaker 1: to hear your results, he loopy lad, Yes, let's talk
- 7:13Speaker 1: about Ashton Kutcher. Okay, So, Ashton Kutcher revealed the moment
- 7:19Speaker 1: he drunkenly told Mela Coolness, I love you for the
- 7:22Speaker 1: first time. How romantic? Okay, So months after Milk couldn't
- 7:27Speaker 1: have shared the sweet story behind the first time her
- 7:30Speaker 1: husband Ashton Kutcher told her he loved her. He took
- 7:33Speaker 1: a trip down memory lane to recall the moment from
- 7:35Speaker 1: his point slightly different, slightly different. So of the moment
- 7:40Speaker 1: he said, I remember it I remember it distinctly because
- 7:44Speaker 1: I came into her house and I was singing in
- 7:45Speaker 1: the Kenny Chesney song and I was like, you know,
- 7:48Speaker 1: tequila make me crazy. So he's serenading her and he
- 7:53Speaker 1: just got off this cheft rob he said, and then
- 7:55Speaker 1: I told her that I love her and I meant
- 7:57Speaker 1: it when I said it. But Mila wasn't exactly convinced
- 8:01Speaker 1: that he meant it, and she said to him, just,
- 8:04Speaker 1: you know, come back to me in the morning to
- 8:06Speaker 1: tell me that never And so he did. He said,
- 8:09Speaker 1: in the morning, he wokeome and wrote or he woke
- 8:11Speaker 1: up and said. I woke up and I was like, hey,
- 8:15Speaker 1: I love you. Oh, I love it. Mark. Now somebody
- 8:20Speaker 1: in a new relationship yourself, and what a coincidence You've
- 8:23Speaker 1: got this story right of course? Put that decide. How
- 8:27Speaker 1: soon do you say I love you? Is it an
- 8:30Speaker 1: important moment for you or can you just spit it
- 8:32Speaker 1: out to anybody? Well, that's a good question. I think
- 8:34Speaker 1: it's a few months. Um, you know, I think those
- 8:37Speaker 1: feelings do come. You know, you have this confidence in
- 8:39Speaker 1: you're a little bit you know, loose, and you have
- 8:41Speaker 1: a social lubricant like booze. Uh it takes a few
- 8:44Speaker 1: months from me, but it's a feeling you have, like
- 8:46Speaker 1: sometimes you sort to realize through your actions, like you
- 8:48Speaker 1: care for someone, you do something special for someone, and
- 8:51Speaker 1: you're like, wait, maybe I do love them or I
- 8:53Speaker 1: have love for them, So I don't. I don't think
- 8:55Speaker 1: the one size fits all answer, but I think this
- 8:57Speaker 1: is kind of sweet though it's very sweet. Do you
- 9:00Speaker 1: need a little bit of booze to get you to
- 9:03Speaker 1: say it for the first time? I used to, but
- 9:07Speaker 1: now going to a therapist and more comfortable expressing myself,
- 9:10Speaker 1: so maybe it'll be easier to oh, that's lovely. And
- 9:15Speaker 1: I think Meali's response is so adult, which is tell
- 9:18Speaker 1: me when you're sober. That's such a good thing because
- 9:21Speaker 1: it's not dismissing what you're saying now, but it's sort
- 9:24Speaker 1: of codifying it. It's clarifying it in the morning. So
- 9:27Speaker 1: I'm like, that's a lovely thing, thank you, Ashton, and
- 9:30Speaker 1: I know that you love me. But in the morning,
- 9:33Speaker 1: when you've got a hangover, tell me them. I think
- 9:36Speaker 1: that's a really smart wise thing to say. Yeah, and
- 9:39Speaker 1: you can tell that she's more mature, like you feel
- 9:41Speaker 1: like that goofy, like childlike kind of behavior. But I
- 9:44Speaker 1: can imagine, you know, she believed him, but she wanted
- 9:46Speaker 1: to hear it from him in sober in the sober way. Yeah,
- 9:49Speaker 1: say when you're sober, it means more. It does, it
- 9:53Speaker 1: really really does. But I just love this and I
- 9:55Speaker 1: think we should tell each other more a feeling. So
- 9:59Speaker 1: if no nobody tells you this today, I will. I
- 10:04Speaker 1: love you sweet this story. I love. Jamie Lee Curtis,
- 10:10Speaker 1: who has become my new favorite person in the whole
- 10:13Speaker 1: wide world, reveals that she's actually got more screen time
- 10:17Speaker 1: in her movies because she never goes back to her trailer.
- 10:21Speaker 1: She said, here's the deal. Quote, it's my secret source.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Don't go back to your trailer. Trailers are not your friends.
- 10:28Speaker 1: You sit in there and you never leave them. And
- 10:30Speaker 1: she said, I don't believe in that. So the director
- 10:32Speaker 1: of Knives Out confirmed this and said basically he put
- 10:35Speaker 1: her in more scenes because she was just hanging around
- 10:38Speaker 1: said all the time, and he was like, you know what,
- 10:40Speaker 1: why don't you be in this scene at that scene.
- 10:43Speaker 1: So this is a really good a really good example
- 10:47Speaker 1: and something that can work in your life too. You've
- 10:50Speaker 1: got to show up and you've got to stand up,
- 10:53Speaker 1: so I get to TV shows earlier than I should.
- 10:57Speaker 1: So if my core time is eight to you get
- 11:00Speaker 1: there at eight, and it not only gives me a
- 11:02Speaker 1: little moment to sit down and read my notes and
- 11:05Speaker 1: become more comfortable, but it gives me two minutes with
- 11:07Speaker 1: the producer and the booker and the people who are
- 11:09Speaker 1: going to invite me back. And so be around, hang
- 11:12Speaker 1: around people that have similar interests and step up. If
- 11:17Speaker 1: you're sitting alone in your apartment, not your trailer, but
- 11:20Speaker 1: your apartment, maybe your trailer, you're not going to ever
- 11:23Speaker 1: meet anybody. So when you have a chance, and it
- 11:26Speaker 1: takes a lot, it takes some courage. I get it.
- 11:28Speaker 1: And if you're shy, this is really difficult. But if
- 11:31Speaker 1: you show up with a smile on your face, you
- 11:33Speaker 1: don't have to be doing backflips. But be around, be around.
- 11:36Speaker 1: I would I would argue, that's why I'm sitting here
- 11:38Speaker 1: right now with you, because you would come to Wendy
- 11:40Speaker 1: Williams where and you were a guest, and you would
- 11:42Speaker 1: come for three years and years, Like you said, you
- 11:44Speaker 1: would come very early in the morning, and that's when
- 11:46Speaker 1: we got to become friends who were tas and then here,
- 11:49Speaker 1: you know, one thing that's to another. Now I'm on
- 11:51Speaker 1: the podcast with you. Actually, you know, I sort of
- 11:54Speaker 1: giggled when you said it, But now that you've connected
- 11:57Speaker 1: the dots, I think that's really plausible. I think it's true.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Is that had you not come into my dressing room
- 12:02Speaker 1: at Wenders and sat on the couch and gossiped for
- 12:05Speaker 1: ten minutes, we probably wouldn't be sitting here doing this now.
- 12:08Speaker 1: So I think all these opportunities in life that so
- 12:12Speaker 1: many people waste, don't be one of those people. Go
- 12:16Speaker 1: out and meet people, turn up, be early, be interested,
- 12:20Speaker 1: and don't hide. Don't hide in your trailer, don't hide
- 12:24Speaker 1: in the corner. Go and sit with people and talk
- 12:28Speaker 1: and find people that like you and that you like.
- 12:32Speaker 1: A life will be so much better. This is a
- 12:35Speaker 1: wild story. Mark to go through it quite slowly. Here,
- 12:38Speaker 1: Priscilla Presley is really really angry. Explain really angry. Okay,
- 12:43Speaker 1: So Priscilla Presley is now denying giving Elvis's items to
- 12:47Speaker 1: bear our jarra and says the photos that accompanied the
- 12:51Speaker 1: situation are false information. Let me explain what's going on.
- 12:55Speaker 1: So less in a week after, the two spend time
- 12:57Speaker 1: with Priscilla Presley year old son, Elvis Presley's ex wife,
- 13:01Speaker 1: put out a statement about the Jacks Alam and which
- 13:03Speaker 1: she said he betrayed her both her and her son
- 13:06Speaker 1: by circulating photos accompanied by false information and storytelling. This
- 13:11Speaker 1: is not good, okay, so Presley said, Rob quote. When
- 13:14Speaker 1: I was asked by my son to have a new
- 13:16Speaker 1: friend come over for a visit, I had no idea
- 13:18Speaker 1: who he was or that later he would choose to
- 13:21Speaker 1: post photos and false stories. She didn't know it was
- 13:25Speaker 1: from jackass. No, and why would she you know? This
- 13:28Speaker 1: is not when she's following? So she said. He came over,
- 13:31Speaker 1: talked NonStop about his new ventures and personal struggles, and
- 13:35Speaker 1: asked for a photo of me for his father, who
- 13:37Speaker 1: is a big fan. Uh so Now, Although Priscilla stated
- 13:42Speaker 1: that she always welcomes fans to take photos, she said
- 13:45Speaker 1: Marjara filmed inside her home without her scent, which is
- 13:48Speaker 1: never okay, especially at help us his ex wife. Something,
- 13:53Speaker 1: you don't do that, that's okay. You don't do that.
- 13:55Speaker 1: You don't do that. I do understand why people take
- 13:59Speaker 1: advantage because it makes them look good for you to
- 14:02Speaker 1: say you're in Elvis's house and for you to say,
- 14:05Speaker 1: Elvis's ex wife gave you gifts from Elvis. That's all
- 14:10Speaker 1: about you, bam. That's all about making you look good.
- 14:12Speaker 1: And we do this to a certain extent when we
- 14:14Speaker 1: bump into celebrities when we want a selfie. I did
- 14:17Speaker 1: get it, and I do it too. It's lovely to
- 14:19Speaker 1: have a photograph of you and a housewife to put
- 14:21Speaker 1: on Instagram. But when I'm in their homes, and I've
- 14:24Speaker 1: been into several of these houses, I'm very, very careful.
- 14:28Speaker 1: You don't take photographs even when I'm at my friend's houses.
- 14:31Speaker 1: You don't have to be a celebrity. I don't take
- 14:33Speaker 1: pictures inside people's homes unless I ask permission. It's a
- 14:37Speaker 1: private place. If we're in a bar without your cameras, everybody,
- 14:40Speaker 1: let's have a fabulous night. But if I came to
- 14:42Speaker 1: your apartment, Mark and we did a selfie, it would
- 14:44Speaker 1: just be our faces. You wouldn't even know where we were.
- 14:47Speaker 1: But I wouldn't start videoing your apartment, of course not.
- 14:50Speaker 1: And that's I think it's an expectation you just have
- 14:52Speaker 1: as as a private person. You don't in your home.
- 14:55Speaker 1: You know, you're not out and about in the street.
- 14:57Speaker 1: This is your home. So then you answer a fute
- 14:59Speaker 1: rob that has misclaims to Tims that he was gifted
- 15:01Speaker 1: items once belonged to Elvis. Yeah, and then she she added,
- 15:06Speaker 1: at no time during the visit that I give anything
- 15:08Speaker 1: of Elvis. I would never disrespect Elvis, who was the
- 15:11Speaker 1: love of my life by giving away anything that belonged
- 15:13Speaker 1: to him. I've always protected them for the fans. That's true,
- 15:17Speaker 1: Team pros Silla. We're going to take a quick break
- 15:19Speaker 1: and we will be right back. Welcome back to the
- 15:24Speaker 1: Naughty but Nic Show. I'm Shooter with my dear friend
- 15:26Speaker 1: Mark loop Oh hey Loopie, let's get to the polls
- 15:30Speaker 1: dot dot dot. Yesterday we had a very unusual lead
- 15:33Speaker 1: for the show, Susie Ormond, like just the door, I
- 15:37Speaker 1: get it. I know, we normally do Royals or Kardashians
- 15:40Speaker 1: or jo We started the show with Susie Ormond, I know,
- 15:43Speaker 1: I love her, and she said that we should be
- 15:46Speaker 1: able to talk more freely about money. What she was
- 15:49Speaker 1: really referring through it's within our jobs, she said. Within
- 15:52Speaker 1: our jobs, we should all know what everybody makes. We
- 15:55Speaker 1: should know what the person is sitting next to you makes,
- 15:57Speaker 1: what the boss makes, we should all know each other makes.
- 16:01Speaker 1: That makes you an uncomfortable mark, I can tell I
- 16:03Speaker 1: don't like talking about money, but I would like to
- 16:05Speaker 1: look around and make sure we all make about the
- 16:07Speaker 1: same if we do the same amount of work. Do
- 16:10Speaker 1: you think she's right? Let's have a look. Said yes,
- 16:15Speaker 1: but there is a twenty percent that said no. You
- 16:17Speaker 1: might be that twenty mark. What do you think? So
- 16:20Speaker 1: I agree with her. I think what's interesting in New York,
- 16:23Speaker 1: Rob is that now you have to a little job.
- 16:25Speaker 1: There are last thing you have to kind of post
- 16:27Speaker 1: a salary range. So you know, there's places where I've
- 16:30Speaker 1: worked were now the ranges there are there, and people
- 16:32Speaker 1: are getting paid a lot less. Are now kind of thinking, well,
- 16:35Speaker 1: what am I doing here? Paying me the salary paying
- 16:38Speaker 1: you know the Susie Q it's causing. As he says,
- 16:42Speaker 1: that's a good thing for us, not for the boss, right,
- 16:44Speaker 1: but for us. It's a good thing for the workers.
- 16:47Speaker 1: It's a good thing to know. The boss would love
- 16:49Speaker 1: us never to speak about any of this because then
- 16:52Speaker 1: they can pay different rates exactly. But I think if
- 16:54Speaker 1: we all know what each other makes, it's more power
- 16:57Speaker 1: to us. I'm with you, Susie don't forget to vote
- 17:00Speaker 1: on today's pole going to Twitter page at Naughty Nice
- 17:03Speaker 1: Rob at Facebook pages Naughty Gossip, and be sure to
- 17:06Speaker 1: check back to moriality here your results are. Now, this
- 17:10Speaker 1: is a good one. It's the nicest of the jet even.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Oh it's Tina fe and Amy Polar, so the side alarms.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Tina Fey Polar have announced a commedy tour beginning in
- 17:24Speaker 1: the spring, to pick off in Washington, d C. April,
- 17:28Speaker 1: and so far three other dates have been announced for Chicago,
- 17:31Speaker 1: Boston and Atlantic City. Rob What do you think, well,
- 17:35Speaker 1: I think four dates are not enough. Amy, if you're
- 17:37Speaker 1: listening Tower, that's not a tour. It's like a shuffle
- 17:40Speaker 1: around three a couple of few towns. It's to four days.
- 17:44Speaker 1: You should do twenty days. And why haven't we thought
- 17:46Speaker 1: of this before? YouTube could make a fortune and fortune
- 17:48Speaker 1: you could go on the road like you'll Beyonce and
- 17:51Speaker 1: Taylor Swift together. I mean, wouldn't you love to see
- 17:54Speaker 1: these two together? And they'll do the work, They'll put
- 17:56Speaker 1: together a funny act. I'll be really trific. Do you
- 18:00Speaker 1: think they'll be on stage all the time or will
- 18:02Speaker 1: it be one of those shows where one sort of
- 18:03Speaker 1: opens and does forty minutes, and another one comes out,
- 18:06Speaker 1: and then they come out at the end together. I
- 18:08Speaker 1: don't know, what do you think. I hope it's like
- 18:10Speaker 1: the Golden Clubs. I hope there's like a mixed everything
- 18:12Speaker 1: together out. They're just so much fun together, so much fun.
- 18:16Speaker 1: I really really do like you, you too, I really
- 18:19Speaker 1: really do. Well, let's get tickets, Mark and nicest of
- 18:22Speaker 1: the day. And now I noticed the day Nick lash
- 18:25Speaker 1: is having beef drama with Jesse partner from The Bachelor,
- 18:30Speaker 1: and I do think Jesse really started this. So Jesse
- 18:33Speaker 1: took over hosting The Bachelor about a year ago. The
- 18:36Speaker 1: numbers are not good, and he was asked, which is
- 18:39Speaker 1: a leading question, but he's been in the public eye
- 18:41Speaker 1: long enough to know this is going to happen. Jesse
- 18:44Speaker 1: was asked, what do you think about the other dating
- 18:45Speaker 1: shows including Love Island and Love is Blind that Nick
- 18:49Speaker 1: Lasha hosts, and Jesse Palmer said, quote the Bachelor was
- 18:54Speaker 1: first confirmed, Yes, it was. I think a big part
- 18:58Speaker 1: of The Bachelor is about authenticity and really trying to
- 19:03Speaker 1: get back to what the core of the show has
- 19:06Speaker 1: always been. Nick Lache heard this and he said quote.
- 19:11Speaker 1: I don't think it gets any more authentic than Love
- 19:16Speaker 1: is Blind. They're two nice, straight boys, and they're not
- 19:20Speaker 1: going to repeatch other's wigs off. They're not going to
- 19:22Speaker 1: get every young housewife here. But it is sort of
- 19:25Speaker 1: this is it's nastier straight. Then get to one another.
- 19:27Speaker 1: That's sort of bit cheap and love it. This is
- 19:29Speaker 1: not a fight on the level of trees that you teaching,
- 19:32Speaker 1: but a straight, dull white then go, this is beef.
- 19:37Speaker 1: It's beef. And the reality is both these shows are ridiculous,
- 19:40Speaker 1: Like the ridiculous come on. Neither one of them are authentic.
- 19:43Speaker 1: They are produced within an inch of their lives. Of
- 19:48Speaker 1: their lives, the two of you are ridiculous. That send
- 19:50Speaker 1: with a moment of rob room. But be kind to yourself,
- 19:54Speaker 1: and kindness will eventually surround you. When you take care
- 19:59Speaker 1: of yourself, you become a better person for others. When
- 20:04Speaker 1: you feel good about yourself, you treat others better. It's
- 20:09Speaker 1: that simple. I make a conscious decision every day to
- 20:14Speaker 1: be kind to myself, and because of that, I have
- 20:17Speaker 1: set the bar so high on the way that I
- 20:19Speaker 1: need to be treated, And miraculously, most people in my
- 20:24Speaker 1: life they have risen to the occasion and the people
- 20:30Speaker 1: who haven't have left. And that's a good thing. When
- 20:34Speaker 1: I was cruel, I attracted cruel people. Now that I'm kind,
- 20:40Speaker 1: guess what I attract kind people. Be kind to yourself.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Your whole life will change. That is it for today.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Thank you so much for listening to the Naughty but
- 20:55Speaker 1: Nights with Rob and Lupo Show. Don't forget to subscup
- 21:00Speaker 1: ribe on the I Heart Radio app, Apple podcast wherever
