- 0:00Speaker 1: We're gonna drink some tiger blood and take on these trolls.
- 0:02Speaker 1: It's one more thing.
- 0:04Speaker 2: I'm a little.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Early in the day for me, but let's get it
- 0:10Speaker 3: on before we get to Charlie Sheen, I wanted to
- 0:15Speaker 3: ask you about this, see if you know anything about it.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Starting next year and what is seen as a win
- 0:22Speaker 1: for Maha, Skittles, eminem and Starbust, Starburst and Extra Gum,
- 0:30Speaker 1: along with Kellogg's will stop using a lot of artificial
- 0:34Speaker 1: flavors in their products.
- 0:37Speaker 4: No dye in skillets and iced tea.
- 0:40Speaker 5: According to Al Sharpton.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Skittle is obviously very brightly colored in a way that
- 0:45Speaker 1: had to be well, it's not natural. And then like
- 0:47Speaker 1: fruity pebbles, is that a product or is that a
- 0:49Speaker 1: post product? But you know cereals that are brightly, brightly colored.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Is this is this significant at all? Is this a
- 0:57Speaker 1: big deal? Is this gonna make us healthier?
- 1:00Speaker 4: I've never really gotten a sense for how dangerous the
- 1:02Speaker 4: food dies really are. Early on, I got the impression
- 1:07Speaker 4: that was if you drink a hundred gallons of the dye,
- 1:09Speaker 4: you may get cancer type situation. But I don't honestly
- 1:13Speaker 4: know they don't do you any good.
- 1:16Speaker 1: But I was following a story on another broadcast today
- 1:20Speaker 1: and how they've done studies that people like the brightly
- 1:23Speaker 1: colored They don't like gray skittles. They like brightly colored skittles.
- 1:29Speaker 6: Yeah, you're supposed to taste the rainbow.
- 1:33Speaker 4: Yeah, you can't taste the dull bo Yeah, coarse, people
- 1:37Speaker 4: like it. That's why they designed the product like that.
- 1:40Speaker 4: Give the people what they want.
- 1:41Speaker 6: I'm looking at a picture of tricks without food dye,
- 1:44Speaker 6: and it does not look appetizing.
- 1:45Speaker 1: You have a picture of tricks without food dye, so
- 1:47Speaker 1: it would look like a little gray balls.
- 1:49Speaker 4: No, no, they're not effing gray. Why do you always
- 1:52Speaker 4: say that?
- 1:53Speaker 5: What are you?
- 1:53Speaker 2: Are you in the pocket of big dye? What is
- 1:56Speaker 2: the story?
- 1:57Speaker 5: Man?
- 1:57Speaker 4: No, they are gray? No, I'm just what No, I'm kid.
- 2:01Speaker 4: I've seen the Canadian equivalents. They're just slightly less lurid.
- 2:05Speaker 6: Yeah, there's like no blues and greens. It's all reds, purples, oranges.
- 2:10Speaker 6: Wait a second, Canada doesn't have colored skittles. They're muted
- 2:16Speaker 6: because they got rid of the dies year ago, years ago.
- 2:19Speaker 6: They're pastal skittles. Huh okay, yeah, they got stronger rules
- 2:26Speaker 6: on that.
- 2:26Speaker 5: I don't know. I just don't know.
- 2:27Speaker 4: I'm at sea on this issue, and it's just not
- 2:30Speaker 4: on my list of things I have bandwidth for.
- 2:34Speaker 1: No, I'm not worried about it in any regard. It's
- 2:37Speaker 1: just I don't want to eat gray fruity pebbles.
- 2:41Speaker 5: I'm sorry.
- 2:41Speaker 4: Are you quoting yourself as a six year old or
- 2:44Speaker 4: are you implying that you is not only a grown
- 2:47Speaker 4: ass man, but a man in the final chapter of
- 2:53Speaker 4: his days is eating fruity.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Pebbles in the winter of my life. If I want
- 2:57Speaker 1: to enjoy a full of fruity pebbles, I am going
- 2:59Speaker 1: to yes.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Eh boy, Okay, so that's that.
- 3:08Speaker 5: Yeah, fruity pebbles.
- 3:10Speaker 2: God, I just that made my teeth hurt. You don't
- 3:13Speaker 2: like fruity pebbles, Oh they're good?
- 3:15Speaker 6: No, I like fruity pebbles.
- 3:16Speaker 4: Oh wait, wait, wait, wait wait, we've been sucked in.
- 3:19Speaker 4: You're not allowed to talk about food because you're hard
- 3:23Speaker 4: of tasting. You've always been hard at tasting, and then
- 3:26Speaker 4: Chairman Chese Anthony Fauci endorsed bat fever took away your
- 3:30Speaker 4: sense of taste and sweet stuff.
- 3:32Speaker 5: But I do like I have stain. I've further abstain.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I won't dwell on this, but they've got to do.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Will shrink flation ever go away? So shrink flation happened
- 3:43Speaker 1: with inflation and everything shrunk down. But can they can
- 3:46Speaker 1: somebody just raise her hand, hey, say, hey, we made
- 3:49Speaker 1: a mistake. Can we go back to the normal sized boxes?
- 3:51Speaker 1: The price is gonna go up a lot, But you're
- 3:53Speaker 1: smart enough to realize right that you're gonna buy three
- 3:56Speaker 1: of the little boxes, now you're gonna buy one of
- 3:58Speaker 1: the big boxes for the same price. Are we all
- 4:00Speaker 1: on the same page. Okay, let's go back to the
- 4:02Speaker 1: normal sized boxes. Because I buy a box of cereal
- 4:05Speaker 1: and I haven't got smart enough yet to buy like
- 4:07Speaker 1: five at a time. But you buy a box a
- 4:10Speaker 1: raisin bran or something. It's a bowl and a half
- 4:12Speaker 1: a raisin bran. And my kids say, Dad, we're not
- 4:15Speaker 1: a raisin man. I bought raisin brand last night on
- 4:17Speaker 1: the way home from work.
- 4:19Speaker 2: It's ridiculous.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Peanut butter a peanut butter jump site Jarge's like a
- 4:22Speaker 1: thimble of peanut butter.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Mmm.
- 4:25Speaker 4: I haven't seen documentation of this, but the one thing
- 4:27Speaker 4: I'm convinced of is that they are winding toilet paper
- 4:30Speaker 4: rolls less tightly. Oh yeah, because you go through much
- 4:34Speaker 4: much more quickly. They're the same size.
- 4:36Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:36Speaker 4: I was at a physical therapy thing. This is actually
- 4:39Speaker 4: months ago, and the guy was joking about I'm asking
- 4:43Speaker 4: my wife and darr how much tpdos? And I said, no, no, no, no,
- 4:48Speaker 4: wait a minute, it's not their fault. It's shrink flation.
- 4:52Speaker 4: I'll bet there's a tension adjustment you can do on
- 4:55Speaker 4: that machine.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Obviously.
- 4:58Speaker 5: So you got your big pill willowie package.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Looks like you're getting a nice compliment of of TP,
- 5:04Speaker 4: but you're not.
- 5:05Speaker 5: You getting deceived.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Yeah, anyway, you're wiping your hei knee with lies.
- 5:14Speaker 5: How do you like that?
- 5:15Speaker 1: Will it? Will it ever go back? Is my question?
- 5:18Speaker 1: Will it ever go back? I would think just not
- 5:21Speaker 1: a convenience. They'll go back to like supersized boxes of stuff.
- 5:27Speaker 1: See you don't buy five of them. But anyway, it's very.
- 5:30Speaker 5: Olden age starts that Trump said We're headed for it.
- 5:33Speaker 1: So do you remember Charlie Sheen, the actor? I just asked,
- 5:39Speaker 1: So there's a documentary coming out, is that right, Michael?
- 5:41Speaker 1: Is that where we're going here?
- 5:42Speaker 5: Coming up on Netflix?
- 5:44Speaker 1: Let's hear the trailer, and then I can fill in
- 5:45Speaker 1: any of the empty stuff. If you don't remember, I lit.
- 5:49Speaker 7: The fuse, you know, and my life turns into everything
- 5:52Speaker 7: it wasn't supposed to be. There's only one personal live
- 5:56Speaker 7: that has the cancers to so many people questions about me,
- 6:02Speaker 7: and the whole world goes. He's the guy.
- 6:04Speaker 5: Imagine what that did to my head.
- 6:06Speaker 4: He was the highest paid TV star of all time.
- 6:09Speaker 7: Everything was fine for a while. Nobody got hurt, nobody
- 6:12Speaker 7: got arrested.
- 6:13Speaker 3: For a while, he kept saying, no, no, no, I'm
- 6:15Speaker 3: in the hospital now, but next week I'll be ready
- 6:17Speaker 3: for the show.
- 6:19Speaker 5: When Charlie said that he was smoking seven Graham rocks,
- 6:22Speaker 5: he was. He was smoking seven gram rocks.
- 6:23Speaker 7: When A can't imagine being my dad.
- 6:26Speaker 2: I have really hurt the people I love.
- 6:28Speaker 7: The stuff that I plan on sharing. I had made
- 6:31Speaker 7: a sacred vow to only reveal to a therapist. Is
- 6:34Speaker 7: there going to be anything?
- 6:35Speaker 1: Paulf limits Now he sounds like he's better. He doesn't
- 6:40Speaker 1: sound like I mean, these are very edited, tiny little clips,
- 6:44Speaker 1: so I haven't seen the whole thing. He doesn't sound
- 6:46Speaker 1: like Hunter Biden, though, who's still blaming other people.
- 6:49Speaker 4: For everything, right, Right, he's still delighted to profit from it.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:54Speaker 4: I wasn't gonna tellnybody just got to make a living.
- 6:56Speaker 1: I wasn't gonna tell anybody but a therapist or somebody
- 6:58Speaker 1: who offers me whateverrobably was ten million dollars, so kind
- 7:04Speaker 1: of remember it. So all I said was to chat GPT.
- 7:06Speaker 1: This is all I said. I said, the Charlie Sheen
- 7:08Speaker 1: meltdown period of his life, and then I gave me
- 7:10Speaker 1: a timeline. That's all I said to it. It was
- 7:13Speaker 1: pretty handy. I had forgotten. This is mainly in early
- 7:16Speaker 1: twenty eleven, so it's quite a while ago. I had
- 7:19Speaker 1: forgotten that. At the time, he was the star of
- 7:23Speaker 1: Two and a half Men, the number one TV show
- 7:25Speaker 1: in America and the highest paid guy on all of television.
- 7:30Speaker 1: And that was a damn funny show. I just watched
- 7:34Speaker 1: like twelve episodes of that the other day.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Oh that show is so flipping good.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Yeah, So he gave a his erratic behavior, hospital visits,
- 7:43Speaker 1: rehab stints was interrupting production of the number one show
- 7:46Speaker 1: and all of television. And they're paying him a lot
- 7:48Speaker 1: of money. So that's kind of how the whole thing started,
- 7:51Speaker 1: and then he gave a series of bizarre, high energy interviews,
- 7:53Speaker 1: coining phrases like winning my energy, I love that. Let's
- 7:57Speaker 1: go on from the crack uh heuh, coined phrases like
- 8:02Speaker 1: winning tiger blood, tiger blood, I remember that. I don't
- 8:06Speaker 1: remember what that was, but and the first time I'd
- 8:08Speaker 1: ever heard the term trolls ever in my life was
- 8:10Speaker 1: from him.
- 8:11Speaker 4: I'm dealing with that, les and trolls.
- 8:15Speaker 2: So he was on the cutting edge of that.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Remember he was friends with the crazy bearded relief pitcher
- 8:21Speaker 1: for the Giants, Oh, Brian Wilson. Yeah, so they had
- 8:25Speaker 1: the beard, so some of their language was tied into
- 8:28Speaker 1: each other because they were really close friends for the
- 8:30Speaker 1: twenty ten Giants World series winning team.
- 8:35Speaker 4: And porn girls too. I remember, we're a major factor
- 8:39Speaker 4: in the tale.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:40Speaker 1: So he gives the weird interviews and then constantly attacks
- 8:43Speaker 1: the show creator, Chuck Lourie, who is a guy running
- 8:46Speaker 1: Two and a half Men and paying Charlie the highest
- 8:49Speaker 1: salary in all of television. He kept attacking that dude. Finally,
- 8:53Speaker 1: in March of twenty eleven, after all that attacking in videos,
- 8:56Speaker 1: he gets.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Fired from two and a half men and that.
- 8:59Speaker 4: You I don't mean to jump ahead, but we skipped
- 9:01Speaker 4: over because I hadn't thought of this in years. The
- 9:04Speaker 4: very last frame of the credits for two and a
- 9:06Speaker 4: half Men would be all this print that you couldn't
- 9:10Speaker 4: conceivably read unless you froze it. And for a while
- 9:14Speaker 4: there it was Chuck Glory telling Charlie Sheen Man, get help.
- 9:19Speaker 4: You gotta get your act together. You're gonna end up
- 9:21Speaker 4: debt or whatever. I don't remember the specifics of it, but.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Yeah, because it was late twenty ten when he kept like, sorry,
- 9:27Speaker 1: I can't go to work today. I'm in rehab. It
- 9:29Speaker 1: was late twenty ten that he was missing production for
- 9:34Speaker 1: two and a half Men, and Chuck Lory started doing
- 9:35Speaker 1: that stuff. And then it was March twenty eleven when
- 9:38Speaker 1: he got fired. So he was given a fair amount
- 9:40Speaker 1: of time, as you would as the biggest draw on
- 9:42Speaker 1: all of television at the time. Then spring summer of
- 9:45Speaker 1: twenty eleven, he goes on his violent torpedo of truth
- 9:49Speaker 1: to her and do you remember that, Yes, but he's
- 9:51Speaker 1: going around to stadiums and just being high and drunk
- 9:54Speaker 1: and like babbling, Oh, I forgot about that.
- 9:57Speaker 4: I'm rambling yes, bro, and I will I will destroy
- 10:01Speaker 4: you in the air and I will, I will, I
- 10:03Speaker 4: will deploy my ordinance to the ground.
- 10:06Speaker 1: And then he did. He had that TV special where
- 10:09Speaker 1: he's there with the two hot blondes where we later
- 10:11Speaker 1: find out were like kind of captives kind of a
- 10:15Speaker 1: little bit.
- 10:16Speaker 5: It was a pay per view.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Yeah, wasn't it. Yeah? That was that was That was
- 10:23Speaker 2: some crazy stuff.
- 10:24Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 10:25Speaker 1: And then he returned to TV with the show called
- 10:27Speaker 1: Anger Management from twenty twelve to twenty fourteen.
- 10:30Speaker 4: After being replaced by Ashton Kutcher on two and a
- 10:33Speaker 4: half Man.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Right, that's right, And according to chat GPTV, twenty eleven
- 10:38Speaker 1: period is considered the peak of his public breakdown, fueled
- 10:40Speaker 1: by substance abuse, legal disputes, and NonStop media coverage, and
- 10:44Speaker 1: it became one of the most high profile celebrity meltdowns
- 10:47Speaker 1: of the decade.
- 10:47Speaker 2: I'd say probably the highest.
- 10:49Speaker 1: I remember when we talked about it every day, well
- 10:53Speaker 1: during that period of time, probably from the spring of
- 10:56Speaker 1: twenty eleven, we were talking about it every day.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Just see what he tweets, text it or said last night.
- 11:03Speaker 2: That was good times.
- 11:04Speaker 6: I'm looking at one of the final credits that Chuck
- 11:07Speaker 6: Laurie put up at the end of the show. Yeah,
- 11:10Speaker 6: I exercise regularly. I eat moderate amounts of healthy food.
- 11:13Speaker 6: I make sure I get plenty of rest. I see
- 11:14Speaker 6: my doctor once a year, dentist twice a year. I
- 11:16Speaker 6: fly us every night. I see a psychologist. I don't drink,
- 11:19Speaker 6: I don't smoke. I don't do drugs. I don't have crazy,
- 11:22Speaker 6: reckless sex with strangers. And if Charlie sheen outlives me,
- 11:25Speaker 6: I'm gonna be really pissed.
- 11:32Speaker 1: I remember when he did the rant I'm the highest
- 11:34Speaker 1: paid person into all television. I won an Oscar when
- 11:37Speaker 1: I was nineteen years old.
- 11:38Speaker 4: You on need to have off non wow.
- 11:44Speaker 5: Imagine.
- 11:45Speaker 4: I mean, it's practically impossible to get a pilot made
- 11:48Speaker 4: in Hollywood unless you're really well connected. And then to
- 11:51Speaker 4: get it picked up is like an incredible victory. To
- 11:55Speaker 4: keep it on for a full season is it's like
- 11:58Speaker 4: making the major League, says he young. And then to
- 12:01Speaker 4: have it go to number one and then your star
- 12:03Speaker 4: cracks up and he's like publicly smoking rock and hanging
- 12:09Speaker 4: with porn stars and threatening you and the rest.
- 12:11Speaker 5: What a nightmare.
- 12:13Speaker 1: I haven't seen this documentary I don't know how much
- 12:15Speaker 1: he's got his act together now. Obviously he's still alive.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Do we have an age on Charlie Sheen, He's got
- 12:19Speaker 1: to be about sixty.
- 12:21Speaker 2: I would assume.
- 12:22Speaker 6: I feel like we're rough the same age. He's fifty
- 12:27Speaker 6: nine years old and according to he's quit everything. He
- 12:30Speaker 6: does have HIV, so he takes medication for that.
- 12:32Speaker 5: But that's it.
- 12:33Speaker 2: How did he get that?
- 12:34Speaker 6: He got diagnosed with it in twenty twelve.
- 12:36Speaker 1: It's have been from a dentist or something, right, yeah, probably, Yeah,
- 12:41Speaker 1: he he's very lucky that he lived through that, and
- 12:44Speaker 1: it's probably with the help of all the money he
- 12:47Speaker 1: had and being able to get him to the right
- 12:51Speaker 1: medical help at the right time where he'd be dead.
- 12:54Speaker 6: If that was now I mean fentanyl, oh yeah and
- 12:57Speaker 6: everything yep, yep.
- 12:58Speaker 4: So yeah, you're doing powder drugs now. It's a daily
- 13:02Speaker 4: gamer Russian.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Year, right, he would have gone Chandler bing there.
- 13:08Speaker 5: Yeah, almost certainly.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Well, I might actually watch this documentary.
- 13:13Speaker 4: I'm definitely going to cool friend and coworker of mine.
- 13:16Speaker 4: Speaking of timing, Uh, he got the HVVY from needle
- 13:20Speaker 4: drugs and died died of AIDS. Really, just you know
- 13:24Speaker 4: fairly it was fairly a short time until they came
- 13:27Speaker 4: up with therapies that like say people. But yeah, he
- 13:31Speaker 4: died of it, so you know, old Charlie could have been,
- 13:35Speaker 4: you know, south of the surface of the Earth.
- 13:38Speaker 5: There a number of different ways.
- 13:40Speaker 1: I remember when he'd post a video on YouTube like
- 13:42Speaker 1: every afternoon and I couldn't wait to watch it, and
- 13:45Speaker 1: he was just so out of his mind.
- 13:47Speaker 4: Oh yeah, it's sitting in like a darkened room with
- 13:50Speaker 4: two hangers on who laughed at his every word and
- 13:54Speaker 4: just granting on about tiger blood and well I remember
- 13:57Speaker 4: dragging fever and f eighteens and trolls.
- 13:59Speaker 1: I remember the one where he's behind the island in
- 14:01Speaker 1: his kitchen. He's standing behind it and he gets like
- 14:03Speaker 1: paranoid at some point and he like ducks behind the island.
- 14:06Speaker 1: It's like completely crazy.
- 14:08Speaker 5: Wow, wow.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I think that was the one when on a Friday,
- 14:11Speaker 1: I said, my prediction is he doesn't live through the weekend,
- 14:14Speaker 1: because I didn't think he would.
- 14:15Speaker 4: But obviously, yeah, I'm sure there's a trove of those
- 14:18Speaker 4: somewhere to be enjoyed. If not just enjoy it on Netflix.
- 14:23Speaker 7: Well, we all have to sit in here and touch
- 14:25Speaker 7: ourselves and frown.
- 14:29Speaker 4: Hey, now you're criticizing my Hobby's right, that is what
- 14:32Speaker 4: I got planned for this afternoon.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Well, I guess that's it.
