- 0:07Speaker 1: Hey, Cubby and Christine.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it's Light FM.
- 0:09Speaker 1: We're hanging out.
- 0:10Speaker 3: Talking with producer Kristen over here about collectibles. We're sharing
- 0:15Speaker 3: stories about how much we've spent on collectibles. unusual collectible items.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Ever since you did the Pee Wee Herman story.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Yes.
- 0:22Speaker 1: About 10 minutes ago.
- 0:23Speaker 3: Kind of got us thinking.
- 0:24Speaker 2: It got me thinking about like things because you can
- 0:26Speaker 2: buy a piece of Pee Wee Herman's estate basically.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Yeah. They're auctioning off clothes and things in his house
- 0:31Speaker 1: and the bike.
- 0:33Speaker 3: Exactly. From the movies, from his home. It's Julian's auctions.
- 0:36Speaker 3: And there's, you know, if you go searching, there's this
- 0:40Speaker 3: really cool poll on Reddit. We go to Reddit a lot.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Where people are saying like, what's the one thing you
- 0:46Speaker 3: have that you think nobody else has? People have some
- 0:48Speaker 3: cool stuff. A letter from Winston Churchill calling my great-grandfather
- 0:52Speaker 3: a moron.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Wow.
- 0:56Speaker 3: I mean, that is something that's definitely special. A ticket
- 1:00Speaker 3: for the Titanic that my great-great-grandfather was supposed to be
- 1:03Speaker 3: on board but missed the voyage because he was sick
- 1:05Speaker 3: and had to stay back in Europe.
- 1:06Speaker 2: You know, those kind of stories always give me goosebumps.
- 1:09Speaker 2: You know, you hear about that with, unfortunately, some plane accidents.
- 1:13Speaker 2: people that miss a plane and something happened.
- 1:16Speaker 3: It saved their life.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Yeah, like those kind of things.
- 1:18Speaker 2: I mean, the Titanic going that far back is pretty
- 1:21Speaker 2: amazing that somebody has something like that.
- 1:23Speaker 3: There's a person who says, I have an original page
- 1:25Speaker 3: of the London Gazette, November 1666, that mentions the Black
- 1:31Speaker 3: Plague and the Great Fire. Oh.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I mean, how come you're not selling that? If someone
- 1:37Speaker 1: has that, that's amazing.
- 1:38Speaker 3: I know, it's crazy. A series of correspondences between my
- 1:42Speaker 3: grandmother and author Harper Lee. They were good friends. I mean,
- 1:45Speaker 3: there's great, great stuff on here. And for you, Cubby?
- 1:49Speaker 1: I'm just trying to think as you're talking. Yeah. I mean,
- 1:52Speaker 1: I'm sure you probably have a lot of.
- 1:54Speaker 2: The same things I have where it's musical or entertainment based.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Because we got to meet people.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Because we got to meet people. But I had Mick
- 2:01Speaker 1: Jagger sign our harmonica. I have a signed Mick Jagger
- 2:04Speaker 1: harmonica somewhere. Dude. I know it's in the house.
- 2:07Speaker 3: And you don't know where it is?
- 2:08Speaker 1: I know it's in the house. I just don't know
- 2:09Speaker 1: exactly where it is.
- 2:10Speaker 3: But you know you have it.
- 2:11Speaker 1: And I'm sure I have.
- 2:12Speaker 2: My dad handed me down a bunch of baseballs he
- 2:15Speaker 2: had signed. So I have like Barry Bonds baseball signature.
- 2:21Speaker 2: But again, a lot of people could have that, though.
- 2:23Speaker 2: That's the thing. Some of the things you're mentioning, like
- 2:25Speaker 2: a ticket on the Titanic.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Yes.
- 2:26Speaker 1: I mean, how many people have that?
- 2:28Speaker 2: Right. But I have a lot of things that are
- 2:29Speaker 2: signed that I feel like other people might have.
- 2:32Speaker 1: So it's cool, but not that cool?
- 2:34Speaker 3: No, I still think it's cool. What about you? Oh,
- 2:39Speaker 3: I was just going to read off this one, though.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Someone in my wife's family has the second ever produced gramophone.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Her ancestor worked for Alexander Graham Bell. Serial number one's
- 2:49Speaker 3: in a museum. Serial number two is in the wife's family.
- 2:52Speaker 1: That's amazing right there.
- 2:53Speaker 3: I don't have stuff like that, but we did mention
- 2:55Speaker 3: Julian's auctions with the Paul Rubens, Pee Wee Herman's big auction.
- 3:00Speaker 3: So years ago, there was They do it from time
- 3:02Speaker 3: to time. They do Marilyn Monroe auctions. But I did
- 3:05Speaker 3: win something. Yeah.
- 3:07Speaker 1: From Marilyn Monroe? Yes.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Wow. And it was really special to me because, you know,
- 3:12Speaker 3: I love acting so much and theater. And she was
- 3:15Speaker 3: in her acting class and she had a notebook and
- 3:18Speaker 3: she was scribbling notes to her acting coach, Lee Strasberg,
- 3:21Speaker 3: at the time.
- 3:21Speaker 1: That is really neat.
- 3:22Speaker 3: At the actor's studio. And a lot of it was...
- 3:25Speaker 3: She was making faces like, you know, like not smiley faces,
- 3:28Speaker 3: but I think explaining how she was feeling emotionally. And
- 3:31Speaker 3: the faces were getting like sadder as she was making
- 3:34Speaker 3: the little scribble faces.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Now, when you got the notebook, did it come like sealed?
- 3:38Speaker 3: It's just actually the page from the notebook.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Page from the notebook.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Right.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Her writing.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Her writing. Authenticated.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Can I ask or no?
- 3:46Speaker 3: You don't have to.
- 3:47Speaker 1: All right.
- 3:48Speaker 3: I couldn't do it now. I did it back then before.
- 3:51Speaker 3: I put all my money into a house.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Right. Now, do you know where it is? See, I
- 3:55Speaker 1: know the harmonica from Mick Jagger is somewhere in our house. Yes.
- 3:57Speaker 1: I just don't know where. It's in a box somewhere.
- 3:59Speaker 3: No, same as you, because we moved a couple of times.
- 4:02Speaker 3: And that's one thing I'm like, do not like lose
- 4:04Speaker 3: track of this. So I know where it is. But
- 4:07Speaker 3: the point has come where like I should frame this
- 4:09Speaker 3: along with like a picture of Marilyn and get it
- 4:11Speaker 3: up in the house.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Now, producer Kristen, I see technically she can't talk on
- 4:15Speaker 1: the radio. Maybe you could yell it. Your mic's not on.
- 4:19Speaker 1: What do you have that no one else has? I
- 4:20Speaker 1: have a Backstreet Boys sweat towel. A Backstreet Boys sweat towel.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Sweat towel.
- 4:24Speaker 1: That apparently she fought another girl for.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Okay.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Put her in a headlock and drove her into the cement.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Wait, wait, wait. No, she did not say that.
- 4:33Speaker 1: No, she didn't say that part. But was it like thrown? Yeah.
- 4:36Speaker 2: And so the way Tom Jones would, or people would
- 4:40Speaker 2: throw underwear at Tom Jones.
- 4:41Speaker 1: No, I mean.
- 4:41Speaker 3: No.
- 4:42Speaker 1: But Kevin threw into the ground.
- 4:44Speaker 3: The towel that he used, yes.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Everyone reached for it.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Yes, of course.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Two people are holding on of it.
- 4:49Speaker 3: And Kristen won the little wrestle battle there.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Lots of hair pulling. Oh, hair pulling. Oh, my goodness.
- 4:55Speaker 1: It's the way you guys like it.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Okay, but she's got it. But she's got it.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Okay. Give us a text.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Do you have something that you think no one else has?
- 5:05Speaker 2: It could be a plane ticket. It could be a,
- 5:08Speaker 2: I don't know, a Titanic ticket.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Yeah, it's amazing.
- 5:10Speaker 1: It could be towels. It could be French toast from
- 5:13Speaker 1: Justin Timberlake. Yeah. Remember we did that?
- 5:15Speaker 3: Z100, yeah.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Hit us up at 44363. We'd love to hear from you.
