Transcript
- 0:21Speaker 1: Hey, everyone, welcome to our very first episode of Sitting,
- 0:24Speaker 1: Sippin' and Bullshitting' from Blessed This Mess even True Grown Podcast.
- 0:28Speaker 2: I gotta say that kind of slow.
- 0:29Speaker 1: I know it's a tongue twister, but I love it.
- 0:32Speaker 1: I love it. So as you know, if you've been
- 0:37Speaker 1: here for a while, we've actually been pretty consistent with those,
- 0:39Speaker 1: so I gotta give us some problems for that. We
- 0:42Speaker 1: we've been doing shoot the Poo on most Fridays. Sometimes
- 0:46Speaker 1: we missed a couple of weeks. You know, we've been
- 0:48Speaker 1: doing most of those on Fridays, and we call it
- 0:50Speaker 1: Shoot the Poo with Karen ste However, we have been
- 0:54Speaker 1: I did not like the name.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Is all of you name it flew it flowed together.
- 0:58Speaker 1: It did flow together, but I didn't care for the name.
- 1:01Speaker 1: And for a while we've been talking about kind of,
- 1:05Speaker 1: uh would you say, upgrading or making things a little
- 1:09Speaker 1: bit better and more cohesive, little more professional, a little
- 1:12Speaker 1: more professional. So we've been working on a new logo,
- 1:16Speaker 1: a cover art, which you should we still got the
- 1:18Speaker 1: baby in the background. We're not that professional, okay, just
- 1:21Speaker 1: is what it is. We have the new cover art,
- 1:25Speaker 1: we have new tears on our Patreon. We have the
- 1:30Speaker 1: new name for this, which is sitting, sipping and bullshit,
- 1:33Speaker 1: because our whole thing was and this might sound corny
- 1:35Speaker 1: to something, y'all, but this is what I pictured whenever
- 1:37Speaker 1: I was redoing all this. I want everybody feel like
- 1:41Speaker 1: we're on a porch. Okay, so you're on the porch.
- 1:46Speaker 1: I'm on the porch. The listeners are on the porch.
- 1:50Speaker 1: We're just sitting out there, have a little drinky drink
- 1:53Speaker 1: out of a mason jar and talking about.
- 1:55Speaker 2: True crime, slapping mosquitoes.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Slapping mosquitos, wondering when these damn June bugs are gonna
- 2:02Speaker 1: stop procreating. People are probably trying to wonder when we're
- 2:05Speaker 1: gonna stop pro creating, never as the babies in the
- 2:08Speaker 1: background can't Oh my god, we're done pro creating. Our
- 2:13Speaker 1: new baby is this podcast do? So?
- 2:16Speaker 2: So.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Yeah, we've been, you know, around for a long time.
- 2:18Speaker 1: We've been around for eight years or so. We've taken
- 2:21Speaker 1: some breaks, We've.
- 2:23Speaker 2: That was a long two year stretch there, two and
- 2:25Speaker 2: a half years.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Yes, and so yeah. So we've just all we've just
- 2:28Speaker 1: been wanting to just take it a little more seriously,
- 2:31Speaker 1: be more consistent and so that's what we're trying to do.
- 2:34Speaker 1: So some of the changes that you'll see is one,
- 2:36Speaker 1: like I said, the cover art, some of the some
- 2:39Speaker 1: people have already seen the Patreon and you'll see there's
- 2:44Speaker 1: three tiers now. The first one is Sweet Tea and
- 2:48Speaker 1: so that's three dollars a month. You get access to
- 2:51Speaker 1: the community board where we can like chit chat with you,
- 2:54Speaker 1: and then you have ad free episodes on the day
- 2:58Speaker 1: that they normally come out, so that would be Thirsty Day.
- 3:00Speaker 1: If you upgrade to the five dollars tier, you get
- 3:04Speaker 1: early access, so you get the episodes on Wednesday ad free,
- 3:08Speaker 1: and you get the sitting, sipping and bullshit in our
- 3:10Speaker 1: Friday episode where we just chat and talk about a
- 3:14Speaker 1: true crime documentary. And then if you do the the
- 3:19Speaker 1: Moonshine Mason jar that is ten dollars a month and
- 3:23Speaker 1: you get after three months, I'm so excited. So we're
- 3:27Speaker 1: doing the drinks every week, yes, and we're they're in
- 3:31Speaker 1: Mason jars, so we have we're getting Mason jars that say,
- 3:36Speaker 1: you know, bless this much mess porch crew. And so
- 3:39Speaker 1: after three months of being on that level of the
- 3:41Speaker 1: ten dollars a month, the Moonshine, Mason Jar will send
- 3:44Speaker 1: you one of those jars so you can drink along
- 3:46Speaker 1: with us. And then they're also we're going to have
- 3:47Speaker 1: those as available just as like a one time purchase,
- 3:51Speaker 1: so look out for that. That's coming. We have that
- 3:54Speaker 1: all in the works and so yeah, that's so that's
- 3:57Speaker 1: the Moonshine maystar. And then you also get to one month,
- 4:00Speaker 1: will put up a poll to vote on which episode
- 4:03Speaker 1: you would like us to cover, So we'll give you
- 4:06Speaker 1: some options and then you can vote in that what
- 4:09Speaker 1: else was on there. There's there's a whole bunch of
- 4:12Speaker 1: stuff on that one anyway, So I'm very excited about
- 4:14Speaker 1: all of them. As you can see, it's all Mason
- 4:16Speaker 1: Jar theme. Drink themed are weekly poor so we're gonna
- 4:20Speaker 1: do that once a week. I've been wanting to do
- 4:21Speaker 1: this forever where we have a drink that goes along
- 4:24Speaker 1: with the podcast episode, and so this week it is
- 4:28Speaker 1: our Southern Peach Bourbon sweet tea which we made and
- 4:32Speaker 1: I posted, So you guys will get that recipe on
- 4:34Speaker 1: Wednesdays and then everybody else will get it on Fridays
- 4:37Speaker 1: on like social media. Will we just make a drink
- 4:41Speaker 1: me and STU are drinking it right now, the drink
- 4:43Speaker 1: that we made, Yes, we are. We're on our second one.
- 4:46Speaker 1: So the ideal is that tonight. No, the idea is
- 4:51Speaker 1: that the main So the main episodes that if you
- 4:55Speaker 1: guys are wondering about, those like our main ones that
- 4:57Speaker 1: go up to everybody. Those if if you have been
- 5:00Speaker 1: around for a long time, and you recall.
- 5:03Speaker 2: We used to partake in quite a few.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Drinking yes, yes, but that's not what they're going to
- 5:09Speaker 1: be that. No, that's not what I'm trying to get at.
- 5:11Speaker 1: That was excessive drinking. We used to research a lot
- 5:17Speaker 1: more into the cases because we had you know, no children,
- 5:22Speaker 1: no children and stuff like that, and so we used
- 5:24Speaker 1: to really get in down to into the details, which
- 5:27Speaker 1: was that's a long running joke, is the details, because
- 5:29Speaker 1: there was one episode where we said details so many
- 5:31Speaker 1: times we've turned into a drinking game anyway.
- 5:34Speaker 2: So it was the frog episode.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Yeah, so we are going to be getting back. I've
- 5:40Speaker 1: been working the last couple of months to start getting
- 5:42Speaker 1: a backlog of episodes that I've been able to really
- 5:45Speaker 1: research and get down into all the nitty gritty and
- 5:51Speaker 1: the details to bring to bring that to you guys.
- 5:55Speaker 1: So we're gonna streamline those episodes a little bit because
- 5:58Speaker 1: they have been going off the red. Okay, I'll be
- 6:00Speaker 1: honest with you, guys. They've been shorter episodes where we
- 6:04Speaker 1: just kind of on the surface of the cases just
- 6:06Speaker 1: because we haven't had time. But now we've been working
- 6:08Speaker 1: the our Yeah, we've been working the last couple of months.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I've been working the last couple of months to write
- 6:13Speaker 1: these longer episodes, and so I'm very excited because I've
- 6:16Speaker 1: already got a backlog. We're ready to go. So we'll
- 6:18Speaker 1: start our first one next week. So we will have
- 6:21Speaker 1: our normal banter still in there, but we're really going
- 6:24Speaker 1: to stick more to the cases of what instead of
- 6:29Speaker 1: talking a lot about our personal life in there, We're
- 6:32Speaker 1: going to stick to the cases, have a few little
- 6:35Speaker 1: bit of banter, but then save most of that for
- 6:37Speaker 1: these episodes because when we record those main episodes, what
- 6:41Speaker 1: we'll do is we're going to record them and go
- 6:44Speaker 1: straight into this sitting, sipping and bullshitting where we talk
- 6:48Speaker 1: about our lives and whatever else chaos going on, like
- 6:53Speaker 1: me getting too drunk at a wedding or how our
- 6:56Speaker 1: children are being terrible right now.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Yes, they are watching them on the camera, watching.
- 7:00Speaker 1: On the camera in the room, acting a full gonna
- 7:02Speaker 1: wake up the two year old and update you on
- 7:05Speaker 1: our move and everything. So yeah, that's what we have.
- 7:08Speaker 1: It'll still be the same type of show. We're just
- 7:10Speaker 1: gonna stick more to the actual crime aspect on the
- 7:15Speaker 1: main episode and save a lot of that extra stuff
- 7:18Speaker 1: for this episode. And we should be like my thing was,
- 7:23Speaker 1: we make the drink. We were making the drink. We're
- 7:25Speaker 1: drinking with you guys for the first episode. We make
- 7:27Speaker 1: it through the first drink and then by the time
- 7:29Speaker 1: we do this sitting sipping and bullshit, we are.
- 7:33Speaker 2: On our second drink, on our second bank.
- 7:37Speaker 1: No, what is wrong with you?
- 7:39Speaker 2: I don't know. I didn't know where you're going with that.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Yeah, so yeah, we just wanted to update you guys.
- 7:44Speaker 1: And again, this one's gonna go out to everybody. So
- 7:46Speaker 1: if you are not part of the Patreon this will
- 7:49Speaker 1: be the only episode you get on the Friday. Sorry,
- 7:52Speaker 1: but we do we will have this. Go check out
- 7:54Speaker 1: patreon dot com, slash bell Sysmas podcast to get all
- 7:57Speaker 1: those benefits and see which tier might work out for you.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Which one you think so or if you want one
- 8:02Speaker 1: at all, Yeah, or if you want you don't. Yeah,
- 8:04Speaker 1: we still have our regular episodes every week. It's it's
- 8:07Speaker 1: not gonna be you'll still get that. We also will
- 8:09Speaker 1: have a little less Mess. So little less Mess. I
- 8:11Speaker 1: was not putting them out that consistently, but that's changing now.
- 8:15Speaker 1: They will go out consistently and instead of Sundays, they're
- 8:18Speaker 1: going to go out Mondays as kind of like a
- 8:20Speaker 1: grab your coffee, let's head to work and let me
- 8:22Speaker 1: tell you, like, spend fifteen minutes telling you a case,
- 8:26Speaker 1: and it's going to be this. It's the same thing
- 8:28Speaker 1: what happened was with the little Less Mess. It was
- 8:30Speaker 1: what we offered people who did not want us chit
- 8:33Speaker 1: chatting and stuff and bantern and jokes and laughing.
- 8:36Speaker 2: That's for people that were wanting me to leave.
- 8:39Speaker 1: This well, or they might have wanted me to leave
- 8:41Speaker 1: and you had read it. I don't know, but we
- 8:44Speaker 1: were doing that because it was already the cases we'd
- 8:46Speaker 1: already covered and then it was just me coming in
- 8:48Speaker 1: and basically reading the case in a very uh straight
- 8:53Speaker 1: matter of fact. So that's what we called them a
- 8:55Speaker 1: little less mess. So it will be the same case
- 8:57Speaker 1: we cover on the Thursday episode. It'll come out Monday
- 9:00Speaker 1: as a little less mess, and it's just a shorter
- 9:02Speaker 1: version of it, just me telling the case. If you
- 9:06Speaker 1: would like a just a recap of it, maybe you
- 9:08Speaker 1: didn't catch everything you want to recap. You can listen
- 9:11Speaker 1: on your way to you work, drinking your coffee instead
- 9:14Speaker 1: of on with us on the evening one drinking booze moonshine. Yes,
- 9:22Speaker 1: I think that's it. Do you how do you feel
- 9:25Speaker 1: about do you? Are you excited? I'm very excited about
- 9:28Speaker 1: all this. And I know you guys probably think some
- 9:30Speaker 1: of this is like cheesy, because I really do. I
- 9:32Speaker 1: want to say, like, hey, pull up your rocking chair.
- 9:35Speaker 1: It reminds me of that time that Stu wrote that
- 9:37Speaker 1: thing about Ronald Gene Simmons and about him hacking.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Is some digital marshmallow.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Yes, he wrote a whole thing. I was like, this
- 9:45Speaker 1: is so cheesy, but here, I here, I am doing it.
- 9:49Speaker 1: I want I want it just I just want everybody
- 9:51Speaker 1: to feel like we're.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Here as I think that was like episode two or
- 9:54Speaker 2: three AM. Yeah, we were drinking as well.
- 9:57Speaker 1: But I also wrote a Christmas poem about that. Remember
- 10:01Speaker 1: I do I do Christmas? Maybe I'll maybe I'll pull
- 10:04Speaker 1: that one out of one. Yeah, it does that one
- 10:06Speaker 1: off for this year Christmas twenty twenty six, the Ronald
- 10:10Speaker 1: Gene Simmons thing, because he did that around Christmas time.
- 10:15Speaker 1: So yeah, so that's what's going on, and we really
- 10:18Speaker 1: appreciate it. We already had some as since we announced
- 10:22Speaker 1: our changes over on Patreon, we've already had some of
- 10:25Speaker 1: our That was the thing. If you are already a
- 10:28Speaker 1: Patreon and you're hearing this and you signed up at
- 10:30Speaker 1: the three dollars level for the early and ad free
- 10:34Speaker 1: and the Friday things, you are grandfathered in. No, they
- 10:39Speaker 1: just what happens is on Patreon, I just unpublished that
- 10:42Speaker 1: old tier and nothing changes it. So if you leave
- 10:45Speaker 1: it though, you can't go back to it. But if
- 10:47Speaker 1: you just stay in it, you get the early and
- 10:50Speaker 1: ad free and the Friday episodes at that the level
- 10:55Speaker 1: that you're in, because we didn't want to like kick
- 10:57Speaker 1: you guys out and be like, hey, you got to
- 10:59Speaker 1: resign up and pay more something for the same benefits,
- 11:02Speaker 1: so you you're grandfathered in for that. But just know
- 11:04Speaker 1: if you leave, that tier is gone, so you can't
- 11:07Speaker 1: get back to that tier if you leave and then
- 11:09Speaker 1: you want to come back. You to get the same benefits,
- 11:11Speaker 1: you'd have to do the five dollar tier.
- 11:13Speaker 2: It's there, yes, but it's not published so you can't
- 11:17Speaker 2: say it to access it.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Yes, but you are in that tier, so it it.
- 11:21Speaker 1: That's the tier you're in, just nobody else can join it.
- 11:24Speaker 1: And that's just how Patreon works, so you don't have
- 11:27Speaker 1: to move, shuffle people around and things like that. But yeah,
- 11:30Speaker 1: we did. So we wanted to think the people that
- 11:32Speaker 1: have already that were they were on our they were
- 11:34Speaker 1: already patrons and.
- 11:35Speaker 2: They just upgraded some stuff.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Graded some stuff. So we really really appreciated.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Yeah, Amy, Lynn, Rachel, Tommy, Tom's been around a while,
- 11:45Speaker 2: Lisa and Karen, they are all upgrade.
- 11:48Speaker 1: We thank you very very much. We really appreciate it
- 11:51Speaker 1: and supporting us through all of this. But so on
- 11:55Speaker 1: this episode. So that's all all that podcast business out
- 11:58Speaker 1: of the way, we are going into If you haven't
- 12:01Speaker 1: seen a toxic love story like Stu hasn't seen.
- 12:05Speaker 2: It, Oh, I've seen it.
- 12:07Speaker 1: No, you're If you haven't seen a toxic love story
- 12:12Speaker 1: on Netflix and you don't want spoilers, you might want
- 12:14Speaker 1: to pause this and then come back to it after
- 12:16Speaker 1: you watch it on Netflix, because I'm fixing to just
- 12:19Speaker 1: I'm fixing to tell Stu all about it and because
- 12:22Speaker 1: he don't know nothing about it. I watched it.
- 12:24Speaker 2: No, Stuve's been doing yard work trying to get the.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Yes, we are moving. Just a quick update on the moving.
- 12:32Speaker 1: We are moving in three weeks, three little over three weeks.
- 12:38Speaker 1: We got tons of stuff to do around the house.
- 12:41Speaker 1: We will be recording because again part of the new
- 12:44Speaker 1: upgrading a beat near us, the new US is that
- 12:46Speaker 1: we are going to be professional and we're going to
- 12:48Speaker 1: put things out on time when we say we are.
- 12:51Speaker 1: We promise you that. That's why we've been working over
- 12:53Speaker 1: the last couple of months to try to get ahead.
- 12:55Speaker 1: So we will. We will still have episodes going out
- 12:58Speaker 1: while we're moving that we're going to re record to
- 13:01Speaker 1: give get you guys. And then so, yeah, we're moving
- 13:05Speaker 1: in a couple of weeks. We're clear to clothes. So
- 13:08Speaker 1: that's all. That's what they say. So we should have
- 13:11Speaker 1: that all in order. Where I had to sign over
- 13:15Speaker 1: my power of attorney so Stu could sign for me.
- 13:20Speaker 1: And then what's funny is so we're signing the paperwork
- 13:24Speaker 1: or whatever and I said, uh, so, I said, which
- 13:29Speaker 1: one do we? So we just printed out like a
- 13:30Speaker 1: generic one you can get it like Texas dot gov
- 13:32Speaker 1: or whatever, and it has all these different things that
- 13:35Speaker 1: you initial buy if you want them to have. What
- 13:38Speaker 1: do you want them to have access to? We had
- 13:42Speaker 1: to pause do show me the kids acting a fool
- 13:44Speaker 1: in their room and I'm like, I'm trying to talk
- 13:45Speaker 1: and think, okay.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Well you're looking at me, like what are you looking
- 13:48Speaker 2: at on your phone? That's hot?
- 13:49Speaker 1: Yes, So the notary comes over and we're filling it out,
- 13:52Speaker 1: and so you initial by all the things that you
- 13:56Speaker 1: want them to have access to. That can be basically
- 13:59Speaker 1: anything like hell, it could be financial, real estate. So
- 14:03Speaker 1: I just was like, So Stu was like, well, just
- 14:05Speaker 1: do them all down there, because then you can initial
- 14:07Speaker 1: by the one that says oh, you can initial next
- 14:10Speaker 1: is oh, and it says all and I was like,
- 14:12Speaker 1: I ain't doing that. I said, I've seen this date
- 14:16Speaker 1: Line episode. So I just initial to the next to
- 14:20Speaker 1: the A, which is real estate transactions or whatever, and
- 14:23Speaker 1: I'm like, he ain't trapping me like that gonna have me. Well,
- 14:26Speaker 1: then we send it into the title company and everything
- 14:30Speaker 1: for them to look at and they come back they're like, oh,
- 14:32Speaker 1: you actually need this initial next to A and E
- 14:35Speaker 1: for financial transaction as well. So then he's like, well,
- 14:38Speaker 1: if you just initial next to oh, for all we
- 14:40Speaker 1: would be doing. So I don't.
- 14:43Speaker 2: I can't off you right now anyway.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Yeah, you got to you need me to get you
- 14:48Speaker 1: out of here first and then then to get you
- 14:52Speaker 1: out of here. No, you need me to get you
- 14:54Speaker 1: out of here. No, not without financial runs.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Do been there before. I ain't scared.
- 15:04Speaker 1: No, we have to. You need me to get you
- 15:06Speaker 1: out of here, and then at least one year from
- 15:09Speaker 1: when we move, because that's the time limit. If if
- 15:14Speaker 1: I lose my job or quit before a year, work
- 15:17Speaker 1: makes me pay.
- 15:17Speaker 2: All this time, makes me pay all that back, all
- 15:20Speaker 2: this back.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Not if I'm dead, then they're gonna come for you.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Thein coming from me. You're gonna be dead, And I'm
- 15:27Speaker 2: sure there's a clause in there that if you croak,
- 15:29Speaker 2: they're not gonna be like, Oh, let's go get the
- 15:30Speaker 2: family for all their moving cars place I work for.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Oh, yes, they want I don't think so, I do
- 15:37Speaker 1: think so.
- 15:39Speaker 2: So.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Yeah, So that's where we are on the move. We're
- 15:41Speaker 1: just real busy around here trying to get things done.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Stuo's been out in the yard working a whole bunch.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I've been trying to work from home.
- 15:46Speaker 2: One hundred degrees out there.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Oh my god, it's so hot up. The kids don't
- 15:50Speaker 1: even want to go outside and like swim it's so hot.
- 15:52Speaker 1: I mean, I try to get them to go out
- 15:53Speaker 1: today and go swimming. They wouldn't even go. No, they
- 15:55Speaker 1: just kept putting it off. They're like, oh, we want
- 15:57Speaker 1: to swim, and I'm like, no, you don't because you're
- 15:59Speaker 1: not actively trying.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Now, the pool temperature is ninety degrees and the heater's
- 16:03Speaker 2: not on. It's just ninety degrees in the pool.
- 16:05Speaker 1: So tomorrow though, I don't care. They're still awake now
- 16:08Speaker 1: they're going out in the pool for hours. I don't
- 16:10Speaker 1: really care if they want to or not. I'm just
- 16:12Speaker 1: gonna lock them out of the house, all right. So
- 16:15Speaker 1: that's what we have going on. That's our main thing is.
- 16:17Speaker 2: You just made it sound like you're gonna send some
- 16:19Speaker 2: small children out to.
- 16:20Speaker 1: The I'm not. I mean I'll be out there with them.
- 16:24Speaker 1: I'm just saying from the hours of three pm. Because
- 16:26Speaker 1: I gotta wait till the sun's a little bit down
- 16:29Speaker 1: a little bit. From three pm to seven pm, they're
- 16:31Speaker 1: in the pool outside burning their energy off except for
- 16:35Speaker 1: the tea drill. She doesn't have to do that. She
- 16:36Speaker 1: can she can come in whenever she wants. She goes
- 16:40Speaker 1: to bed, and now she's talk because she won't take
- 16:41Speaker 1: a nap. Though she's got her own problems. She stopped
- 16:44Speaker 1: taking naps. And then last night she fell asleep watching
- 16:48Speaker 1: the movie or whatever we were watching at seven at seven,
- 16:52Speaker 1: which is early for her, she fell asleep and then
- 16:55Speaker 1: she woke up at like four something. We didn't hear
- 16:57Speaker 1: or anything because we were up late because the baby
- 16:59Speaker 1: would go to sleep, and so we slept right through it. Everything.
- 17:03Speaker 1: She managed to get out of her sleepsack because she
- 17:05Speaker 1: still uses a sleepsack, and she's in a crib, and
- 17:08Speaker 1: so now we're going to have to transition her to
- 17:10Speaker 1: a toddler bed because she got out of her sleepsack
- 17:12Speaker 1: and almost flung herself over the rail the rail, So yes,
- 17:16Speaker 1: we have that to look forward to. All right, now
- 17:19Speaker 1: we've got all that out of the way, let's get
- 17:22Speaker 1: into Oh that's the other thing. We will make sure
- 17:24Speaker 1: and try to have a true crime documentary to talk
- 17:25Speaker 1: about on these each Friday. So it'll be life updates,
- 17:30Speaker 1: chit chat, hanging out, talk about true crime documentary or
- 17:36Speaker 1: most likely hasn't seen or some documentary. What documentary?
- 17:40Speaker 2: Well, you watch that one about the boat that flipped
- 17:41Speaker 2: over on a time, you think.
- 17:42Speaker 1: That that's technically a crime. Somebody went to jail. Okay,
- 17:46Speaker 1: multiple people went to geil over that. We can talk
- 17:50Speaker 1: about that one next time. All right, So here we
- 17:54Speaker 1: go Flicks A Toxic love story again. If you have
- 17:58Speaker 1: not seen it, this is going to be it's all spoilers.
- 18:01Speaker 2: You're listening to it now, yep.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Okay. So it's about a love triangle that takes place
- 18:07Speaker 1: in Anaheim, California. The setup is this, It's early twenty sixteen.
- 18:12Speaker 1: There's a US marshal named n Diaz. He meets a
- 18:15Speaker 1: woman named Angela on a dating app. They fall fast,
- 18:20Speaker 1: and within a month they are married and moving into
- 18:22Speaker 1: his condo. He met her at Starbucks. It was like
- 18:26Speaker 1: one of those I can't it's like love at first sight,
- 18:30Speaker 1: kind of like when you saw me sure, sure, yeah,
- 18:33Speaker 1: that's what makes you sleep at night. Yeah. So anyway,
- 18:37Speaker 1: so after a month they're already living together.
- 18:39Speaker 2: So this is kind of like us.
- 18:41Speaker 1: What that is not even though I moved into an
- 18:44Speaker 1: apartment near in the same apartment complex, and then I
- 18:48Speaker 1: stayed at your apartment all the time, but technically I did.
- 18:52Speaker 1: We didn't live together. I had my own place. I
- 18:54Speaker 1: only slept it three times. And then I'm yeah, it
- 18:58Speaker 1: used to be nice. She used to make me chalk
- 19:00Speaker 1: what Martini's used to make me eggs.
- 19:02Speaker 2: It used to be nice to me.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Well, things change. I used to be able to laugh
- 19:07Speaker 1: and not pee.
- 19:08Speaker 2: But here we are. Here, we are a napkin.
- 19:13Speaker 1: All right. So yeah, so it's a complete whirlwind of
- 19:16Speaker 1: a romance. But immediately things start getting dark, and not
- 19:22Speaker 1: because of what's happening between Angela and In. There's an
- 19:25Speaker 1: outside force if you oh no, So Angela starts receiving
- 19:29Speaker 1: these horrific threatening emails from an anonymous account calling themselves
- 19:33Speaker 1: Lilith is Truth, and the threats just keep getting worse
- 19:37Speaker 1: and worse. The cinder starts attaching pictures of dead bodies,
- 19:41Speaker 1: and eventually the cinder creates a fake Craigslist ad posting
- 19:44Speaker 1: Angela's face and address. Now this is where it gets
- 19:48Speaker 1: really disturbing, and I wonder if that person that we
- 19:51Speaker 1: had that trial we had not long ago got the
- 19:54Speaker 1: ideal from this. I don't remember this case, but apparently
- 19:57Speaker 1: it was real big in the news. What was going on. Also,
- 20:00Speaker 1: before we get into the next part, the Lilith whole thing,
- 20:03Speaker 1: Apparently Lilith is some sort of character in history that
- 20:08Speaker 1: was like temp tried to tempt Adam or something I
- 20:13Speaker 1: don't remember. Or she's like basically like the Devil's spot
- 20:16Speaker 1: or something.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Yeah, she was actually with the devil. She left at him,
- 20:23Speaker 2: she was working for the devil, got with the devil,
- 20:25Speaker 2: married the devil or something. I don't know.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Yeah, So there's a lot of there's a feeling of
- 20:29Speaker 1: like biblical undertones to all these emails that this Angela
- 20:33Speaker 1: is receiving, with all these death threats, so things really
- 20:37Speaker 1: take it up a notch whenever the person post Angela's
- 20:40Speaker 1: face and address trying to get men to show up
- 20:43Speaker 1: at her house to act out violent fantasies against her.
- 20:45Speaker 1: So like rape fantasies, which that's what I'm talking about.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Remember that case where that's how he killed his wife.
- 20:54Speaker 1: He he killed the guy who he the guy.
- 20:59Speaker 2: He found the guy on the on the website.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Yes, he posted saying she wanted no.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Yeah, he was it himself or he was posting as her.
- 21:10Speaker 1: I thought, No, I'm saying he posted as her saying
- 21:13Speaker 1: I want someone to come over and break in or
- 21:16Speaker 1: pretend to break in and pretend to rape me. That's
- 21:19Speaker 1: my fantasy. Yes, and then he got somebody to come
- 21:23Speaker 1: do it. Yes, and he kills the guy.
- 21:25Speaker 2: That came in, that came in and kills her.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Yes, and he went to jail. I think he had
- 21:31Speaker 1: a girlfriend on it.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I had the Brazilian ou pair or nanny. I
- 21:35Speaker 2: was yes, that he was diddling and wanted to get
- 21:38Speaker 2: with her.
- 21:38Speaker 1: So I wonder when that happened here recently. This was
- 21:41Speaker 1: twenty sixteen, So.
- 21:42Speaker 2: I'm wondering if he got the idea from him maybe.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Maybe he's like heard that, like let me just put
- 21:47Speaker 1: it back in the brain and see maybe I can
- 21:49Speaker 1: use that because people are sick like that. Yeah, so
- 21:54Speaker 1: this is happening for her and uh so In and Angela.
- 21:58Speaker 1: They go to the police overall this obviously because it's
- 22:01Speaker 1: very scary, and they immediately are saying, we know who's
- 22:04Speaker 1: doing this. It's this crazy bitch that In used to date.
- 22:09Speaker 1: His ex girlfriend named Michelle Hadley. Well, the thing is
- 22:14Speaker 1: is they're saying, well, why would she The police are
- 22:16Speaker 1: asking that, why is? Why is would Michelle want to
- 22:19Speaker 1: do all this stuff too? Like this is extreme behavior
- 22:22Speaker 1: over In and he's not even that cute, you know,
- 22:24Speaker 1: Like and so In had just broken up with Michelle
- 22:29Speaker 1: shortly before he met Angela, and Michelle used to live
- 22:31Speaker 1: in that exact same condo and part of the threats
- 22:34Speaker 1: that she was receiving Angela talked about the condo and
- 22:39Speaker 1: how that's my house and die bitch and whatever, you know,
- 22:43Speaker 1: like really hateful stuff. So it was clear that it
- 22:45Speaker 1: was coming from Michelle because that was her condo. So
- 22:50Speaker 1: they're at the police department. Like we said, In is
- 22:53Speaker 1: a US Marshall, so he has some influence, like he's
- 22:57Speaker 1: one of them, you know, one of the cops, and
- 22:59Speaker 1: so he really pushes on this whole Michelle thing. They
- 23:02Speaker 1: have bodycam footage of them talking to him, and he's
- 23:04Speaker 1: talking about how what a bitch Michelle is and she's
- 23:07Speaker 1: psycho and she needs to be and telling all these
- 23:09Speaker 1: stories about her. So you know, it's like, Okay, well
- 23:12Speaker 1: he's got this crazy ex girlfriend and so the police
- 23:15Speaker 1: really lean in this and like, Okay, he's one of
- 23:18Speaker 1: Like he's one of our people. We got to believe in.
- 23:22Speaker 1: They completely run Michelle like they they say she's did it.
- 23:27Speaker 1: They plaster her mugshot all over TV like she is
- 23:31Speaker 1: painted as this psycho, ex girlfriend, stalker. They expose all
- 23:35Speaker 1: these emails she's writing this fate, this rape fantasy thing
- 23:39Speaker 1: on Craigslist, which is really disturbing for someone to do
- 23:42Speaker 1: to somebody. So yeah, so they basically run Michelle's.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Ok cause she's a complete psycho.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Yes, because they're saying she's a complete.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Do you have her phone number.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Anyway?
- 23:54Speaker 2: So for somebody whom I want to know.
- 23:56Speaker 1: So I knew something was going on because I looked
- 23:58Speaker 1: and I was like, man, this is a short documentary.
- 24:00Speaker 1: So I paused it and we were only forty three
- 24:02Speaker 1: minutes in. There was forty five minutes less. I'm like, oh,
- 24:05Speaker 1: things are things must not be as they seem, or
- 24:08Speaker 1: Michelle as crazy. She gets out.
- 24:10Speaker 2: And she's kills everybody, kills everybody.
- 24:13Speaker 1: We don't know, you know, I don't know where I
- 24:14Speaker 1: was going. So yeah, so this is where it starts
- 24:17Speaker 1: getting completely insane. Like I said, the first half is
- 24:19Speaker 1: all being told through the perspective in an Angela. So
- 24:23Speaker 1: they are during the documentary, they're they're showing Michelle. We see,
- 24:28Speaker 1: we're going to get to talk to Michelle. Like they're
- 24:30Speaker 1: showing Michelle in current day, getting at a table, getting dressed, yes,
- 24:34Speaker 1: doing her Netflix entry because there's the new trend, there's
- 24:38Speaker 1: the trend on like TikTok and everything. It's like preparing
- 24:42Speaker 1: for my Netflix documentary. Then it says like something like
- 24:46Speaker 1: preparing for my next flip Netflix documentary where I had
- 24:49Speaker 1: a true crime podcast and I murdered my husband or
- 24:51Speaker 1: something like what I'm thinking that would be my Netflix documentary.
- 24:57Speaker 1: And then it shows them like walking in. You know
- 24:59Speaker 1: on the Netflix docum, they're always walking in, They're always adjusting,
- 25:01Speaker 1: they're looking around, They're like here, I talk here, you know, like.
- 25:03Speaker 2: That, putting on their headphones.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, so back to this. So we get back,
- 25:08Speaker 1: we get to the second half of the documentary and
- 25:11Speaker 1: now we start seeing Michelle. So some of these officers,
- 25:17Speaker 1: they don't Michelle's in jail for this. I mean, like
- 25:20Speaker 1: this is serious because there's some of the men that
- 25:22Speaker 1: we're gonna rape her actually showed up to the house.
- 25:24Speaker 1: They didn't rape the the angela lady or whatever, but
- 25:28Speaker 1: they actually were going to, you know, in the course
- 25:31Speaker 1: the guy, which the guys we got into this last
- 25:35Speaker 1: time with this whole when we talked about that other case.
- 25:38Speaker 1: If that's what your fantasy, I guess is and it's consensual,
- 25:41Speaker 1: then I guess whatever you know. But then we get
- 25:44Speaker 1: a lot of these. It seems like I can't believe
- 25:46Speaker 1: this has happened more than once, that people are putting
- 25:48Speaker 1: people on craigslists that don't actually want this to happen
- 25:50Speaker 1: to them and pretending to be and men are showing up.
- 25:53Speaker 1: I mean, I feel like there's some due diligence there for.
- 25:54Speaker 2: You to, as the man that you ought to make
- 25:56Speaker 2: sure that the people you're going to meet are.
- 25:58Speaker 1: The Yes, I think you should go to their house
- 26:01Speaker 1: at least once and then don't tell them that you're
- 26:03Speaker 1: going to break in that day and then go do it.
- 26:05Speaker 1: But I think you should go to their house and
- 26:07Speaker 1: sit down and meet the person. I don't think we
- 26:08Speaker 1: should just be being like, oh, yeah, they said I could
- 26:10Speaker 1: rape them, like I have.
- 26:11Speaker 2: A cup of coffee and discuss when you want to
- 26:14Speaker 2: be raped.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like we need some more playing. Yes. So
- 26:22Speaker 1: at this point in the documentary, we start talking about Angela.
- 26:27Speaker 1: So remember the Angela's the new girlfriend. He she ends
- 26:32Speaker 1: up within three months though I forgot to mention this,
- 26:34Speaker 1: within three months of getting together. Within she gets pregnant
- 26:39Speaker 1: with twins.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Oh Jesus.
- 26:40Speaker 1: So they get married of course, within you know, a
- 26:43Speaker 1: couple months. So then we start hearing about this other
- 26:48Speaker 1: about Angela and this other group of people that she
- 26:51Speaker 1: was friends with, and she was dating this guy I think,
- 26:54Speaker 1: and she basically faked cancer and all this stuff and everything.
- 26:59Speaker 1: So we start to see Angela as a crazy person.
- 27:02Speaker 1: But this hasn't been talked about with the police or anything.
- 27:04Speaker 1: This is just the documentary kind of building up showing, Hey,
- 27:08Speaker 1: Angela's crazy.
- 27:09Speaker 2: So she's faking cancer. No, she was fakings or the twins.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Too, well, she was faking cancer in a different relationship.
- 27:20Speaker 1: This is this new relationship within. She doesn't have cancer
- 27:22Speaker 1: in this.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Because we did the one about the girl that had
- 27:24Speaker 2: the baby that she was.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Pregnant, we're gonna get into it. So some of the
- 27:29Speaker 1: police officers were just not real confident in all of
- 27:34Speaker 1: a sudden this Michelle just goes off the deep end
- 27:37Speaker 1: and turns into this psychopath and doing this type of thing.
- 27:40Speaker 1: So they started looking into it a little bit more
- 27:43Speaker 1: like some things just didn't feel right to home. So
- 27:44Speaker 1: they start looking into actually doing their looking into it.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Instead of just believing this guy that's a US marshal
- 27:51Speaker 1: just because he's a police officer, he's you know, telling
- 27:54Speaker 1: the truth, they start looking into, like the IP addresses,
- 27:57Speaker 1: log in histories where the email and craiglis list posts
- 28:01Speaker 1: were actually coming from, and the trail doesn't lead to Michelle.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Inside the house, they.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Were coming from side. The calls coming from inside the house,
- 28:10Speaker 1: it was back to Angela. So the investigators find that
- 28:14Speaker 1: the emails from Lily is truth. All the ones with
- 28:17Speaker 1: like I mean like she was sending very disturbing thing
- 28:19Speaker 1: like aborted babies. It was, it was a lot like
- 28:22Speaker 1: it was very disturbing were sent from IP addresses and
- 28:25Speaker 1: devices connected to Angela and to places tied to her family,
- 28:29Speaker 1: not Michelle. In other words, Angela was sending threatening emails
- 28:32Speaker 1: to herself and setting up those Craiglist ads to get raped,
- 28:35Speaker 1: and then of course she was able to stop them
- 28:37Speaker 1: before it happened because she knew they were coming. So, yeah,
- 28:41Speaker 1: so she's using VPNs, fake accounts, burner phones, she does
- 28:46Speaker 1: a you know, the full on ie being stalk performance.
- 28:49Speaker 1: She even what kept and what kept got Michelle behind
- 28:52Speaker 1: bars for the longest was she claimed that Michelle came
- 28:56Speaker 1: into her garage and it attacked her from behind, like
- 28:59Speaker 1: choked her and everything. And that's what you know, she
- 29:01Speaker 1: physically at that point, or she said that she physically
- 29:05Speaker 1: harmed her. So that's when it took it to the
- 29:07Speaker 1: next level, because you know, stalking, I mean, you can
- 29:09Speaker 1: stock someone all day long, it seems like these days,
- 29:11Speaker 1: until they actually do.
- 29:12Speaker 2: So she don't trespass her touch them.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, well.
- 29:15Speaker 2: How they how they get away with that? Just go
- 29:17Speaker 2: based on her word?
- 29:20Speaker 1: Yes, And so the investigators really that were that found
- 29:23Speaker 1: out that these IP addresses, these emails, these craigslists were
- 29:26Speaker 1: all coming from Angela. They re looked at all the
- 29:28Speaker 1: injuries that she claimed she got from this attack in
- 29:31Speaker 1: the garage and nothing added up. For what if they
- 29:34Speaker 1: if the investigators who had originally done it had looked
- 29:37Speaker 1: at it, they would have seen that the injuries that
- 29:38Speaker 1: she had did not line up with what she was
- 29:41Speaker 1: telling them.
- 29:42Speaker 2: I mean I'm just counting all the money that Michelle
- 29:44Speaker 2: is about to get.
- 29:46Speaker 1: I know, I hope she got a ton of money.
- 29:49Speaker 1: She got a ton of I don't think they mentioned that.
- 29:51Speaker 2: I hope she got plenty of money out of us.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Yes, So, as the documentary explains, a lot of this
- 29:56Speaker 1: seems to come down to a lot of can troll
- 30:00Speaker 1: and resentment. So we've got crazy Angela blaming Michelle, who
- 30:04Speaker 1: is now not crazy, appearing to be just this innocent
- 30:08Speaker 1: person in all this. So now that they found out
- 30:11Speaker 1: that Michelle wasn't actually doing all this, it's Angela. They
- 30:14Speaker 1: want to understand. Is it just because Angela hates Michelle
- 30:18Speaker 1: because she's the ex girlfriend, or is there more to it.
- 30:21Speaker 1: So that's when they find out that that condo that
- 30:23Speaker 1: Inn and Michelle had there was like a real messy
- 30:26Speaker 1: fight between them about like who owned it, how much money,
- 30:30Speaker 1: who's responsible for repairs? I mean it was a dirt
- 30:33Speaker 1: and like a nasty fight about this.
- 30:35Speaker 2: I can imagine. Yeah, because condo is.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Not in California, I'm sure, Well, it's not a.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Single family home, so there's association fees and all kinds
- 30:43Speaker 2: of other stuff to go along with.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Yeah, and you have to keep it probably up to
- 30:46Speaker 1: a certain standard and everything. So yeah, they start to wonder,
- 30:50Speaker 1: is Angela the only one? Is this all just Angela?
- 30:53Speaker 1: Because Angela's crazy, She's faked cancer in the past, She's
- 30:55Speaker 1: like this crazy bitch or whatever.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Or is Anne involved or is an involved?
- 31:00Speaker 1: And so they start they rego, they go all the
- 31:02Speaker 1: way back through all of the body cam footage of In,
- 31:06Speaker 1: and he's really egging on Angela with all this, and
- 31:10Speaker 1: he's just really hateful towards Michelle. And like I said,
- 31:13Speaker 1: he made up some stuff saying she was crazy and
- 31:16Speaker 1: she locked herself in a room and did something like
- 31:18Speaker 1: just making up all this stuff, so you thought she
- 31:20Speaker 1: was He built the whole thing up that she was crazy.
- 31:24Speaker 1: So when it all comes down to it, they find
- 31:26Speaker 1: out that in Michelle or in Angela, we're just so
- 31:30Speaker 1: vindictive towards Michelle. Like In got crazy because Angela was
- 31:36Speaker 1: already crazy, so it was easy for him to tip
- 31:38Speaker 1: her over. There was no twins either. It was easy
- 31:41Speaker 1: for Into.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Just gonna throw that spoiler alert in there no twins either.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Yes, it was easy for In to get Angela to
- 31:51Speaker 1: tear to like take down Michelle because Angela was already
- 31:54Speaker 1: teetering on the on insanity as it was. And so
- 31:58Speaker 1: in the end, Michelle she spent eighty eight days in
- 32:01Speaker 1: jail for something she didn't do.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Wow.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Yeah, And she was exonerated in twenty seventeen. So she
- 32:07Speaker 1: spent like a year of her life either being like
- 32:09Speaker 1: blasted in the news and everybody on probably Facebook telling
- 32:12Speaker 1: her she's a psycho bitch. And then Angelo was arrested
- 32:16Speaker 1: the day that they exonerated Michelle, and she pled guilty
- 32:20Speaker 1: to forgery, false imprisonment, and kidnapping and was sentenced to
- 32:24Speaker 1: five years in prison. Lovely old in the US Marshal
- 32:29Speaker 1: He was arrested a few years later and he was
- 32:31Speaker 1: found guilty of stalking, perjury, and obstruction of justice and
- 32:35Speaker 1: was sentenced over ten years in federal prison.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Well that's good, which.
- 32:39Speaker 1: I forgot to mention the reason that they re looked
- 32:41Speaker 1: into this is because he was a US Marshal. It
- 32:43Speaker 1: was the Department of Justice came in to oversee and

- 33:32Speaker 1: No, I'd just rather it's getting late on the porch stew.
- 33:37Speaker 1: The bugs are coming.
- 33:38Speaker 2: That is what I thought.

- 34:40Speaker 2: Stay at home Dad's no, it would.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Be stay at home husband. You should be Although those
- 34:47Speaker 1: moms they get that wine that starts getting a little
- 34:50Speaker 1: earlier in the day.
- 34:53Speaker 2: And the girls are going to be going to our meetings.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Oh my god. Whenever I'd go to like stuff for
- 34:58Speaker 1: work and we'd have like a wor like a lunch
- 35:00Speaker 1: where we'd go out to lunch with the company or
- 35:03Speaker 1: like whatever, and I'd see all those ladies out there,
- 35:06Speaker 1: you know, noon, drinking their rose. I was like, man,
- 35:12Speaker 1: I made some mistakes in life.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Well, I supported those mistakes, Stu, do you think I
- 35:18Speaker 2: should go do this? Sure? I know. Do you think
- 35:21Speaker 2: I should apply to this company? Yeah? Absolutely? Sic Like,
- 35:25Speaker 2: why would you spend all that time in school and
- 35:27Speaker 2: not go and apply with this this company?
- 35:29Speaker 1: No, what I'm saying, No, what's funny is, Stu, is
- 35:32Speaker 1: you would think that he would be, you know, just
- 35:35Speaker 1: all the crazy things I come up with, he would
- 35:37Speaker 1: which he's on a podcast right now that I talked
- 35:40Speaker 1: to him into doing and didn't really really have to.
- 35:42Speaker 2: I didn't think I was going to go that far.
- 35:44Speaker 2: I thought you were gonna get tired of it and
- 35:46Speaker 2: it was going to flop within the first three or
- 35:48Speaker 2: four episodes.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Yeah. So what's funny is I come up with all
- 35:53Speaker 1: these If you guys have been around for a while,
- 35:55Speaker 1: you know, I come up with all these crazy things,
- 35:57Speaker 1: these crazy business plans, these crazy I'm gonna be a
- 36:00Speaker 1: bake bakery, a micro bakery. I'm gonna run I do.
- 36:03Speaker 1: I do tend to run them for a little bit,
- 36:05Speaker 1: and then is lost.
- 36:06Speaker 2: Well think the micro bakery.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Well, I was doing bake goods. I did sell those
- 36:10Speaker 1: on Valentine's Day and I made like sixty dollars. I
- 36:12Speaker 1: thought that was pretty good.
- 36:13Speaker 2: All those cupcakes or whatever, the.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Cookies I made the little cookies on I like the
- 36:21Speaker 1: ideal of it or whatever, but I don't like the
- 36:24Speaker 1: execution of it because it's really messy to bake. But
- 36:27Speaker 1: I have a new a new business plan. I am
- 36:31Speaker 1: not going to tell you guys. You might steal it, Okay,
- 36:34Speaker 1: I'm kidding. So we moved. So I did supper club
- 36:37Speaker 1: when I was here, and apparently I was illegally selling food.
- 36:40Speaker 1: I didn't realize that. I thought I was under the
- 36:41Speaker 1: cottage food laws. But apparently you can't sell anything with
- 36:44Speaker 1: meat in it under Texas cottage food laws. But that's
- 36:47Speaker 1: neither here north there. That was a year ago. I
- 36:49Speaker 1: was doing.
- 36:49Speaker 2: If you're in law enforcement, statute limitations run.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Yes. So I was doing supper clubs. So basically what
- 36:57Speaker 1: I did is in my neighborhood. I would meal prep
- 37:00Speaker 1: things and I would make a bunch of them and
- 37:02Speaker 1: I would sell him to the neighborhood. And I was
- 37:04Speaker 1: doing pretty good with it. I mean, I wasn't making
- 37:06Speaker 1: tons of money, but it was a lot of work.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Paid for the groceries.
- 37:10Speaker 1: It paid for the My goal was for it to
- 37:11Speaker 1: pay for the groceries each month. So and then the
- 37:13Speaker 1: great thing was about if you had extras, you just
- 37:15Speaker 1: put them in the freezer and you have food, you know.
- 37:17Speaker 1: I mean, there was no real downside to it.
- 37:20Speaker 2: But then I got I didn't hit it.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Well, yeah, that is true. Some of them. I'm like,
- 37:25Speaker 1: I don't want that.
- 37:27Speaker 2: I know who made that. I don't want it.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Oh, shut, that's not don't even say that. I am
- 37:32Speaker 1: very clean when it comes to all stuff. Anyway. So
- 37:34Speaker 1: I was doing supper club and I was doing pretty
- 37:37Speaker 1: good at it, but then I got I was pregnant.
- 37:39Speaker 1: I got tired, and then I didn't pick it back
- 37:42Speaker 1: up again. But now that we're moving, I'm not pregnant anymore.
- 37:46Speaker 1: The kids are, or are you? I am not pregnant.
- 37:50Speaker 2: You were at that wedding and that waiter was very hot.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Yeah, so I was trying to get him with the
- 37:58Speaker 1: other girl. Other girl I was doing and some some
- 38:01Speaker 1: work for her, and I think it worked.
- 38:04Speaker 2: That's what you say.
- 38:05Speaker 1: I'm too embarrassed myself though, to go ask her if
- 38:07Speaker 1: she hooked up with them or whatever, because you embarrass myself.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Yes, yes, daily.
- 38:19Speaker 1: Yes, I was telling Stu. I was on a meeting
- 38:23Speaker 1: we'll save that for the story behind the patron because
- 38:25Speaker 1: that was about the someone at work. So we'll save
- 38:29Speaker 1: that for next time. When I turned myself into a
- 38:32Speaker 1: cow when I was moving, every time he talked, zoom
- 38:36Speaker 1: meeting anyways, Okay, we'll talk about that next time. But
- 38:39Speaker 1: what was I going to say?
- 38:42Speaker 2: I supposedly we're trying to hug the other girl up.
- 38:44Speaker 1: No, no, we're moving on from that my business plan.
- 38:48Speaker 1: But what's funny is that anytime I come with something
- 38:50Speaker 1: too is like he's like, oh, yeah, we'll do that.
- 38:52Speaker 1: He just he never even tells me like, this is
- 38:54Speaker 1: a bad idea. This is not gonna work.
- 38:57Speaker 2: A lot of times you don't want to hear it's
- 38:59Speaker 2: a bad idea. Though.
- 39:00Speaker 1: Okay, so you think my current ideal is a good ideal.
- 39:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna be so I wanted to be.
- 39:04Speaker 2: I just I have very little involvement in it.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Well, you are going to be involved. You're going to
- 39:09Speaker 1: be my soushev.
- 39:10Speaker 2: This is a terrible idea.
- 39:11Speaker 1: Okay, So when we move, I'm start already starting. I'm
- 39:15Speaker 1: practicing my recipes. Now I am going to be. I
- 39:20Speaker 1: wanted to be known, so I decided I was like
- 39:22Speaker 1: instead of my supper club, I'm going to pick one
- 39:24Speaker 1: thing and be really good at and I've decided it
- 39:26Speaker 1: was going to be Lasagno. So I was going to
- 39:30Speaker 1: be the Lasagna Lady. And I'm just going to name
- 39:32Speaker 1: my business the Lasagna Lady, so you'd be like, hey,
- 39:35Speaker 1: it's the Lasagno Ladies. So then I start googling and
- 39:37Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, I can't actually sell meat in as
- 39:41Speaker 1: a cottage food law. So I started thinking about it.
- 39:44Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm going to be the vegetarian Lasagna Lady.
- 39:48Speaker 1: And I feel like we're moving down to the Houston area,
- 39:50Speaker 1: so I feel like there's a lot of big, broader
- 39:52Speaker 1: group of people that would be more open to a
- 39:54Speaker 1: vegetarian option and not be asking me every other week
- 39:57Speaker 1: can we add meat doing or whatever. So it's gonna
- 40:00Speaker 1: be like artisonal Lasagna, but instead of Lasagna Lady, h
- 40:06Speaker 1: I'm Lady Lasagna. And my logo has a crown and
- 40:11Speaker 1: it's very regal. And so I'm making seasonal Lasagna's vegetable design.
- 40:17Speaker 1: So I have my base one terrible idea and then
- 40:20Speaker 1: what so I'm making my the harvest. It's a harvest, uh,
- 40:27Speaker 1: lasagna the for fall, because I'm gonna start selling these
- 40:31Speaker 1: in October we get there, So I'm practicing the recipe
- 40:34Speaker 1: to mars. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
- 40:36Speaker 1: I made my sauce today, I let it simmer. I'm
- 40:39Speaker 1: making all the sauce homemade. Was so good, so we'll
- 40:42Speaker 1: see how it goes. Yes, if this takes off to you,
- 40:44Speaker 1: you're gonna have to do the prep work, chopping, terrible simmering,
- 40:51Speaker 1: but there won't be any meat involved, that's.
- 40:55Speaker 2: What I hear. All right, Well, no, that's probably the
- 40:59Speaker 2: one nobody goes.
- 41:02Speaker 1: No one take this for me. Don't be copyrighting Lady
- 41:04Speaker 1: las on you. And if you're in the housed area,
- 41:06Speaker 1: come buy one of my sonias in a couple of months. Okay, anyways,
- 41:12Speaker 1: but if you find out my address, don't send.
- 41:14Speaker 2: Any Craigslist please fantasy.
- 41:19Speaker 1: Yes, all right, Well I think that's it for us.
- 41:24Speaker 1: All right, Well, thanks for sitting with us, same porch,
- 41:27Speaker 1: same time next week.
- 41:28Speaker 2: By one, that was cheesy.
- 41:30Speaker 1: I don't care. I'm I don't care where the porch
- 41:33Speaker 1: crew is do okay, don't run my new tagline.
- 41:35Speaker 2: I'm running it. I will step off you're.
- 41:38Speaker 1: Still going to say by everyone. Oh, I'm yeah, get
- 41:44Speaker 1: your Let me try it again, guys, give me another.
- 41:46Speaker 2: Shot, no, take two, take twenty three.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Thanks for Oh you should have seen me trying to
- 41:51Speaker 1: film that drink.
- 41:52Speaker 2: Oh I was I did? I heard you. I didn't
- 41:55Speaker 2: watch it. Thank god. I had secondhand embarrassment for you
- 41:59Speaker 2: and nobody else could even see it from me.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Oh, I can't wait to tell that story. Whatever, we're back.
- 42:03Speaker 1: But this isn't going out to the other story about
- 42:06Speaker 1: my secondhand embarrassment for somebody else, the same person that
- 42:09Speaker 1: I am. Oh yeah, the moving Okay, all right, let's
- 42:13Speaker 1: try this again.
- 42:14Speaker 2: Okay, I'm ready.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Thanks for us, Thanks for sitting with the same porch,
- 42:18Speaker 1: same time next week. Bye everyone, say bye sty Do.
- 42:22Speaker 2: Don't you know it's bad to be SUPERSTI shots by
- 42:30Speaker 2: napping else it's working, it's learning sick, it's worthy. Can
