• 0:18
Speaker 1: of Somalians come from a country that doesn't even have
• 0:21
Speaker 1: a government, no laws, no water, no military, no nothing.
• 0:26
Speaker 1: As their representatives in our country preach to us about
• 0:29
Speaker 1: our constitution and how our country is no good. We're

Speaker 4: Morning Update. It's the forty seven Morning Update and it
• 3:21
  Speaker 4: starts right now.
• 3:22
  Speaker 3: Story number one.
• 3:24
Speaker 4: President Trump now is warning all Americans about a real
• 3:27
Speaker 4: national security threat. It is people coming into this country
• 3:31
Speaker 4: that were unvetted from Afghanistan and other nations, including a
• 3:35
Speaker 4: wide open border where people on the Terraces watch lists
• 3:37
Speaker 4: were allowed to come in under the Biden administration. What
• 3:41
Speaker 4: are Democrats saying after the attack on the National guardsmen
• 3:44
Speaker 4: and another Afghan rescueg that has been arrested for planning
• 3:50
Speaker 4: a terarist attack. They're now saying the President is being
• 3:52
Speaker 4: a racist for saying exactly what needed to be said,
• 3:56
Speaker 4: that there's a real national security threat in this country
• 4:00
Speaker 4: that was allowed in here because a lack of vetting
• 4:03
Speaker 4: by our government. I want to go back to the
• 4:06
Speaker 4: terror attack, and I want to remind you that four
• 4:10
Speaker 4: years ago, we knew that the Biden administration was lacking
• 4:14
Speaker 4: a vetting process of Afghan nationals that were inviting in essence,
• 4:20
Speaker 4: terrorists to come into our country.
• 4:22
Speaker 2: That did actually happen.
• 4:24
Speaker 4: We knew it was a problem, and we knew the
• 4:26
Speaker 4: administration was lying about it. We also know Anthony Blincoln
• 4:30
Speaker 4: at the time confirmed that child brides had been evacuated
• 4:35
Speaker 4: with older men from Afghanistan into the United States of America,
• 4:40
Speaker 4: yet again showing that there was a lack of vetting
• 4:44
Speaker 4: of the people that were allowed to come into America.
• 4:48
Speaker 4: I want you to listen to Tony Blinkin confirming child
• 4:51
Speaker 4: bribes that were evacuated with older men from Afghanistan, and
• 4:55
Speaker 4: we let it happen in this country. We didn't stop.
• 4:59
Speaker 4: We didn't we asked questions, and we did not vet them.
• 5:03
Speaker 5: But I want to ask you flat out, did the
• 5:07
Speaker 5: State Department give the Taliban a list or multiple list
• 5:10
Speaker 5: of Americans and or Afghans that we wanted.
• 5:13
Speaker 6: Out those reports and the idea that we would do
• 5:16
Speaker 6: anything to endanger our citizens or anyone else at a
• 5:19
Speaker 6: time when we were trying to save their lives is
• 5:22
  Speaker 6: flat out wrong.
• 5:23
Speaker 7: Let me just like a yes or no? Did you
• 5:25
  Speaker 7: give them?
• 5:25
Speaker 6: Let me get Let me be very clear, a senator,
• 5:27
Speaker 6: if I may please thank you. In limited instances where
• 5:32
Speaker 6: we were seeking to get a bus or a group
• 5:35
Speaker 6: of people through a checkpoint, we gave a manifest to
• 5:39
Speaker 6: the people at the checkpoint to demonstrate that those people were.
• 5:41
Speaker 7: Expectedly say how many names were on the list you gave.
• 5:44
Speaker 6: It doesn't matter because they.
• 5:46
Speaker 5: All dozens, hundreds, thousands, give us some order of magnitude.
• 5:49
Speaker 5: This happened in a handful of situations where two dozens.
• 5:52
Speaker 5: So is it your testimony? It wasn't hundreds. I want
• 5:54
Speaker 5: to understand. Did you give them thousands of names?
• 5:56
  Speaker 1: No?
• 5:56
Speaker 5: We did not, Okay, hundreds, not going to put a
• 5:59
Speaker 5: number on it, but was again, why not? This is
• 6:01
Speaker 5: a hearing to discover how many names and how many
• 6:04
Speaker 5: of those individuals you gave the Taliban the name to
• 6:07
Speaker 5: have been targeted for torture or murder.
• 6:09
  Speaker 2: Senator.
• 6:09
Speaker 6: By definition, these were in limited instances with a bus
• 6:13
Speaker 6: or a group of people to get them through a checkpoint.
• 6:16
Speaker 6: They got through the checkpoint.
• 6:17
Speaker 5: So not only did you fail to evacuate Americans and
• 6:21
Speaker 5: Green card holders who were there, but you also brought
• 6:25
Speaker 5: in tens of thousands of Afghans who had wholly inadequate vetting,
• 6:31
Speaker 5: bringing many of them to the United States. And one
• 6:33
Speaker 5: of the things that has done is that has brought
• 6:35
Speaker 5: in a humanitarian crisis to America. Child marriage and domestic abuse,
• 6:42
Speaker 5: tragically are widespread in Afghanistan. According to the World Health Organization,
• 6:47
Speaker 5: more than half of the women in Afghanistan are married
• 6:50
Speaker 5: as child brides and ninety percent of women are subject
• 6:53
Speaker 5: to domestic abuse ninety percent. On August twenty seventh, according
• 6:58
Speaker 5: to public reports, attributed internal documentation highlighting numerous instances and
• 7:04
Speaker 5: intake centers of sexual abuse in which much older grown
• 7:09
Speaker 5: Afghan males appeared with children. Young children claimed they were
• 7:15
Speaker 5: their brides, claimed they were their wives, and the document
• 7:20
Speaker 5: said the State Department urgently requested guidance. That was your word,
• 7:25
Speaker 5: urgently Subsequently, Department of Homeland Security said that it showed
• 7:29
Speaker 5: the desperation of families that they were willing to give
• 7:32
Speaker 5: little girls to grown men to be subject to sexual
• 7:35
Speaker 5: abuse and child wives. My question is as follows, did
• 7:39
Speaker 5: you receive that urgent guidance? How many children have been
• 7:42
Speaker 5: subject to sexual abuse? What have you done to rescue
• 7:45
Speaker 5: young children from illegal and abusive relationships after being brought
• 7:52
Speaker 5: to America by the State Department?
• 7:54
Speaker 6: Across the entire government, everyone involved in the evacuation effort,
• 7:58
Speaker 6: whether it's at a transit point UH in one of
• 8:01
Speaker 6: the countries that we negotiated with, whether it's here in
• 8:04
Speaker 6: the United States at Dulles or Philadelphia or the military bases,
• 8:09
Speaker 6: we have all of our officers at extreme vigilance to
• 8:13
Speaker 6: look for UH and to deal with any cases or
• 8:18
  Speaker 6: concerns that he's.
• 8:21
Speaker 7: The urgent guidance. And how many child guides have you seen?
• 8:23
  Speaker 6: I don't know the specific guidance you're referring to. I'm
• 8:26
Speaker 6: happy to look to look at it.
• 8:27
Speaker 7: So is there not urgency to discover it was abuse?
• 8:33
Speaker 6: Could we could detect and deal with at any cases?
• 8:36
Speaker 6: And there have been to my knowledge a limited number
• 8:39
Speaker 6: of cases where we have separated people because we were
• 8:42
Speaker 6: concerned that they were How many are the cases, I'm
• 8:46
Speaker 6: aware of a handful.
• 8:48
Speaker 4: So this was a disaster that was predictable. This is
• 8:51
Speaker 4: a disaster that is still unfolding because we don't know
• 8:55
Speaker 4: how many people are actually in this country that should
• 8:58
Speaker 4: have never been here, which brings me to the Trump administration.
• 9:03
Speaker 4: They're having to clean up a massive national security threat,
• 9:07
Speaker 4: which brings me to Attorney General Pam Bondi. She said
• 9:10
Speaker 4: on this week's broadcast the Fox News Sunday that the
• 9:13
Speaker 4: suspected shooter of the two National Guard troops in d
• 9:17
Speaker 4: C not only should have never been in this country,
• 9:20
Speaker 4: but host Martha McCollums said, quote, let's start with the
• 9:23
Speaker 4: question of vetting. The Washington Post reported this counter terrorism
• 9:27
Speaker 4: officials did that the Guard shooting suspect before he entered
• 9:32
Speaker 4: the US. One of the individuals they talked to said
• 9:36
Speaker 4: the suspect was vetted years ago before working with the
• 9:39
Speaker 4: CIA in Afghanistan, and then again before he arrived in
• 9:42
Speaker 4: the US in twenty twenty one. Those examinations involved both
• 9:46
Speaker 4: the National counter Terrorism Center as well as the CIA.
• 9:50
Speaker 4: So where are we in the tracking the path of
• 9:53
Speaker 4: the suspect. What was something that was missed in the
• 9:57
Speaker 4: vetting process or was he possibly once he got here. Now,
• 10:02
Speaker 4: listen closely to what Pam Bondi the AG said in response.
• 10:06
Speaker 4: She said, quote, so, first, the one that you talked
• 10:09
Speaker 4: about that happened days before the Thanksgiving shooting, that one
• 10:15
Speaker 4: he was he had been through Operation Allies Welcome program,
• 10:20
Speaker 4: minimal to little vetting. I was on the phone last
• 10:25
Speaker 4: night with Secretary Christynome at length. They did not do biometrics,
• 10:30
Speaker 4: they did not do social media. Now they're clearly referring
• 10:34
Speaker 4: to the quote vetting process under the Biden administration, which
• 10:38
Speaker 4: even when they claim they vetted people, it wasn't very
• 10:41
Speaker 4: good or even real even.
• 10:43
Speaker 2: Close to what you should have done.
• 10:45
Speaker 4: Back to her comments, they did very little, if minimal,
• 10:48
Speaker 4: vetting on all of these people. And now, to take
• 10:52
Speaker 4: a step back, we have one point five million backlog
• 10:56
Speaker 4: of people that have come into our country, and as
• 10:58
Speaker 4: you said, these people being radicalized. We know that this
• 11:03
Speaker 4: shooter who shot her National guardsmen in DC the day
• 11:06
Speaker 4: before Thanksgiving, he was radicalized.
• 11:09
Speaker 2: You're going to hear a lot more about that.
• 11:11
Speaker 4: And these people should have never been in our country
• 11:15
Speaker 4: under Joe Biden, he opened our borders. Of course MS
• 11:19
Speaker 4: thirteen TDA members twenty minutes from where you are right now, Shannon,
• 11:24
Speaker 4: we caught one of the worst MS thirteen members in
• 11:27
Speaker 4: the country, of the whole Eastern Seaboard top members, because
• 11:33
Speaker 4: Joe Biden let him walk into our country. So you
• 11:37
Speaker 4: may hear a narrative by the left that this guy
• 11:40
Speaker 4: was vetted and so something happened after the vetting was
• 11:44
Speaker 4: done the right way. What we're actually learning is that
• 11:47
Speaker 4: the vetting was a joke, that it was barely a
• 11:50
Speaker 4: check your box type of vetting. It certainly was not
• 11:54
Speaker 4: a vetting to keep us safe. And now this administration
• 11:57
Speaker 4: is going to have to unwind and look back. It
• 12:00
Speaker 4: countless people that were led into this country that should
• 12:04
Speaker 4: have never been here in the first place.
