Speaker 1: Hey, the whole tis amy and today here and we
• 0:19
Speaker 1: wanted to wish you a very happy Fourth of July.
• 0:23
Speaker 1: Might have heard it's big two hundred and fiftieth this year,
• 0:26
Speaker 1: where it's kind of a big birthday.
• 0:27
Speaker 2: Yeah, this is probably the biggest Fourth of July will
• 0:30
Speaker 2: ever celebrate, and we're going to get to do it together.
• 0:33
Speaker 2: We have big plans. We're gonna just be looking at
• 0:36
  Speaker 2: our window.
• 0:36
Speaker 1: Yeah, our big plans are to stay home and do nothing.
• 0:39
Speaker 1: We're actually doing something that's very cool this year. The
• 0:43
Speaker 1: Parade of Ships. This year the Fleet Week they moved up.
• 0:46
Speaker 1: We get to look out our window and watch all
• 0:48
Speaker 1: these beautiful ships go by members of the military and
• 0:51
Speaker 1: honor them and then ropes. There's a fireworks displayed that's
• 0:55
Speaker 1: going to happen, and we might have the best view
• 0:57
  Speaker 1: in the city.
• 0:57
Speaker 2: Yes, that's right. We just so happened to have a
• 1:00
Speaker 2: view of the Statue of Liberty and the Hudson. We
• 1:03
Speaker 2: feel very lucky. So we will have front row seats
• 1:07
Speaker 2: to apparently what's going to be one of the biggest
• 1:10
Speaker 2: fireworks displays ever on the Fourth of July. We were
• 1:13
Speaker 2: going to have a bunch of people over, but then
• 1:15
Speaker 2: we were told that my daughter is having a competing party.
• 1:19
Speaker 2: So we'll see how many we end up with and
• 1:21
Speaker 2: how many she ends up with.
• 1:22
Speaker 1: Gotta be honest with you, I was happy to hear
• 1:24
Speaker 1: that those all those folks were at a competing party.
• 1:26
Speaker 2: When you say folks, you mean like rowdy early twenty somethings.
• 1:30
Speaker 1: Well, you know people that eat you out of and
• 1:32
Speaker 1: drink you out of house.
• 1:33
Speaker 2: I eat you, drink you.
• 1:34
  Speaker 3: Out of here.
• 1:34
Speaker 1: Yeah, those folks. So we got lucky. So our big
• 1:37
Speaker 1: plan is boils down to this.
• 1:40
Speaker 2: We're staying home, yes, popcorn and champagne and sitting on
• 1:43
Speaker 2: the couch watching the fireworks right outside our window.
• 1:46
Speaker 1: And some people might be doing it in all kinds
• 1:48
Speaker 1: of different ways out at cookouts, family gathering something we
• 1:51
Speaker 1: both kind of grew up with, and a lot of
• 1:53
Speaker 1: people might be in DC as well. But wherever you
• 1:55
Speaker 1: might be, we certainly wish you ate very happy and
• 1:59
Speaker 1: a very safe birthday party for the US.
• 2:02
Speaker 2: Yes, Happy two hundred and fiftieth America.

Speaker 4: like reflective of like who we are as a fan

Speaker 5: What's kind of your favorite Fourth of July tradition?
• 3:06
Speaker 4: I love fireworks My one of my favorite traditions. I
• 3:09
Speaker 4: love fireworks. My oldest daughter used to call them fireworkings,
• 3:12
Speaker 4: and I just always call them fireworkings because of that.
• 3:15
  Speaker 6: And I just.
• 3:16
Speaker 4: Really love just family and friends together just because you
• 3:22
Speaker 4: were celebrating this great holiday weekend and it's like it's
• 3:25
Speaker 4: really one of those holidays where people don't really fight.
• 3:28
Speaker 4: No one's fighting about the cooking, no one's fighting about family.
• 3:31
Speaker 4: It's just people are just like, hey, happy Fourth.
• 3:34
Speaker 7: I'm like, yeah, you too.
• 3:36
  Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a very it's a very easy, breezy holiday.
• 3:39
Speaker 5: It's very me it is. You've got a cute little dog,
• 3:45
Speaker 5: Tarzan does. Tarzan like the fireworks.
• 3:48
Speaker 4: Tarzan does not like the fireworks, but he definitely likes
• 3:50
  Speaker 4: the hot dogs.
• 3:53
Speaker 3: Speaking of hot dogs, what's your favorite Fourth of July food?
• 3:57
Speaker 4: I'm a big chicken nugget kind of person.
• 4:00
Speaker 2: So chicken nuggets, I know, I love.
• 4:03
Speaker 7: Kids chicken nuggets. I'm like, I'll take some of those.
• 4:05
Speaker 4: Anything I'm not allowed to have, that's what I want.
• 4:09
  Speaker 4: I don't want steak, I don't want your hot dogs.
• 4:11
Speaker 4: I want like kid's chicken nugget, any kid's food.
• 4:14
Speaker 5: You know what I think is a quintessential Fourth of
• 4:16
  Speaker 5: July food?
• 4:18
  Speaker 7: What is it?
• 4:19
Speaker 3: Potato salad? I love potato salad. Why do we only
• 4:23
Speaker 3: eat potato salad in the summertime? We should be eating
• 4:27
Speaker 3: potato salad in the wintertime.
• 4:29
  Speaker 5: I love it.
• 4:31
Speaker 7: It is definite vibe.
• 4:32
Speaker 4: So is corn of the cob.
• 4:33
Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm quite a big chicken nugget person.
• 4:36
Speaker 5: I learned something new about you all the time. Chicken.
• 4:39
Speaker 6: Have you met me?
• 4:39
  Speaker 4: I'm like, I'm like, I'm literally like, elf, I'm this
• 4:43
Speaker 4: child in this adult's body.
• 4:47
Speaker 3: So you're hanging out with the fam this fourth July.
• 4:49
  Speaker 3: I love that you're in the Hampton's. It's gorgeous, it's easy, breezy.
• 4:54
Speaker 3: Just speaking hypothetically, would you ever have a first date
• 4:58
Speaker 3: on the fourth of July?
• 5:00
Speaker 4: Would I bring a guy to a Fourth of July
• 5:03
Speaker 4: party and it was our first date?
• 5:05
  Speaker 9: Yeah?
• 5:05
Speaker 5: Would you ever do that?
• 5:06
Speaker 4: I mean if I kind of like saw him at
• 5:08
Speaker 4: the hardware store and I'm like, you're hot, Like, okay,
• 5:12
Speaker 4: why not? I mean my kids, My kids would be
• 5:15
Speaker 4: like mom, I'd be like, girls, who care? Is our
• 5:21
Speaker 4: older I met? I met a cowboy at home depot.
• 5:24
Speaker 4: Why can't I bring some guy that met the hardware
• 5:26
Speaker 4: store to Fourth July party?
• 5:29
  Speaker 6: Yeah?
• 5:29
Speaker 3: Would you be scouting this Fourth of July? Are you looking?
• 5:33
Speaker 3: Where are you right now in the dating landscape?
• 5:36
  Speaker 8: You mean?
• 5:36
Speaker 4: Am I going to hardware stores all across No?
• 5:41
Speaker 3: But like listen, fourth of July a lot of people
• 5:44
Speaker 3: parties hanging out at the beach, like, are you looking?
• 5:48
Speaker 5: Are you talking to somebody already?
• 5:50
  Speaker 7: What?
• 5:51
Speaker 3: We haven't gotten an update on your dating status in
• 5:54
  Speaker 3: a minute, right.
• 5:55
Speaker 4: Okay, So here's the update on my dating. I am
• 5:59
Speaker 4: now open to really dating. I just finished filming a
• 6:03
Speaker 4: new show and i just feel really good about my
• 6:07
Speaker 4: life and I'm just very relaxed and I am open
• 6:13
Speaker 4: to you know, meeting you know, just different kinds of people.
• 6:18
Speaker 4: I always had this thing in my head, Heather. Before
• 6:20
Speaker 4: it was like when I got divorced. Originally I was like,
• 6:22
Speaker 4: I want to get married now when I have more kids.
• 6:23
Speaker 4: Like I was like marriage and kids, marriaging kids. And
• 6:26
Speaker 4: then I was like, Okay, maybe I should get married.
• 6:28
Speaker 4: And then I'm like that after all of that, now
• 6:31
Speaker 4: I'm just like, I just want to enjoy my life.
• 6:34
Speaker 4: And I feel like because I'm open to that kind
• 6:39
Speaker 4: of those feelings, I've you know, I've been meeting some
• 6:42
Speaker 4: really nice people, really really nice people, nice gentlemen. But
• 6:48
Speaker 4: I am open to a guy from a hardware store.
• 6:50
Speaker 5: I love it. Happy Hunting this fourth of July.
• 6:54
Speaker 3: Happy Hunting, have a wonderful holiday and.
• 6:58
Speaker 5: Have a happy fourth Kelly.
• 7:00
Speaker 6: Thanks Heather, you too, happy.
• 7:01
  Speaker 7: For Hey guys.
• 7:12
Speaker 9: Happy Fourth of July at Cheryl Burke from I Do
• 7:15
Speaker 9: Part Two And I Am gonna just be relaxing with
• 7:19
Speaker 9: my dog. My parents are coming in from out of
• 7:21
Speaker 9: town to visit me, and we're gonna watch a bunch
• 7:23
Speaker 9: of fireworks and eat lots of barbecue because you know,
• 7:28
Speaker 9: this is my car blowed up day, so we just
• 7:31
Speaker 9: eat whatever we want and then regret it the next day.
• 7:34
Speaker 6: So obviously I'm a dog mom.
• 7:35
Speaker 9: And my dog actually doesn't even flinch when it comes
• 7:39
Speaker 9: to fireworks, which kind of scares me. I had to
• 7:42
Speaker 9: get her hearing check, but she's really chill. She'll just
• 7:46
Speaker 9: eat the crumbs from our barbecue that we're gonna most
• 7:48
Speaker 9: likely have, and she will just she said, happy dog.
• 7:52
Speaker 7: She's a happy but spoiled dog. So she will need walks.
• 7:55
Speaker 7: We'll do like two long walks. Then we're gonna hit
• 7:58
Speaker 7: the streets and go to the movie theater.
• 8:00
Speaker 9: So other things that I'm excited for this Fourth of
• 8:02
Speaker 9: July is just to really spend time with my family.
• 8:06
Speaker 9: My stepdad, he loves watching anything to do with like
• 8:09
Speaker 9: aliens or murder, so we're either going to watch a
• 8:14
Speaker 9: bunch of documentaries on Netflix at my house, or we're
• 8:18
Speaker 9: going to go to the movie theater, which I haven't
• 8:20
Speaker 9: been to a movie theater since before COVID.
• 8:21
Speaker 7: I'm not even kidding.
• 8:22
Speaker 5: And we're going to watch Disclosure.
• 8:24
Speaker 9: I think it's a Steven Spielberg movie about how there
• 8:26
Speaker 9: are aliens currently on this planet Earth.
• 8:30
Speaker 7: So that'suld be interesting. So happy for.
• 8:36
Speaker 10: Hey, it's Kathy and Joan and we're here talking about
• 8:40
Speaker 10: the fourth of July.
• 8:41
Speaker 6: What are you up to, Joan for this fourth?
• 8:44
  Speaker 7: Uh?
• 8:45
Speaker 8: Well, you know I live in DC, so we have
• 8:48
Speaker 8: a huge celebration going on. We bought tickets. We're going
• 8:52
Speaker 8: down to the National Mall. There. There are tons of activities,
• 8:56
Speaker 8: but I'll tell you like my favorite, other than the fireworks,
• 8:59
Speaker 8: which I love fire works, I think everybody does. They're
• 9:02
Speaker 8: doing a big flyover, so there's gonna be f sixteens
• 9:05
Speaker 8: and like all the new aircraft, the Blue Angels are
• 9:07
Speaker 8: coming so that's gonna go on all day. So we're
• 9:10
Speaker 8: going down early and bringing my two grandsons, my daughter
• 9:13
Speaker 8: and her husband. It's their kids. The five of us
• 9:16
Speaker 8: are going. I'm gonna be the fifth wheel, but I'm
• 9:17
Speaker 8: okay with that because they're gonna need help for those
• 9:19
Speaker 8: little babies and yeah, we're going down the mall, National Mall, DC.
• 9:23
Speaker 8: Here a come, how about you?
• 9:25
Speaker 6: Well, this is a big one. It's two hundred and
• 9:26
Speaker 6: fifty years. I think.
• 9:28
Speaker 10: My favorite thing this year, I of course always go
• 9:31
Speaker 10: and watch the fireworks. I go on like Austin with
• 9:35
Speaker 10: friends and they shoot them off and it's beautiful over
• 9:37
  Speaker 10: the water.
• 9:39
Speaker 6: But you know what I love the most about Fourth
• 9:42
  Speaker 6: of July.
• 9:43
  Speaker 10: It's it's the one day where everyone's patriotic. It's Americana.
• 9:49
Speaker 10: Everybody's red, white and blue. Everyone has the parade, small
• 9:53
Speaker 10: town parades, hamburgers, hot dogs.
• 9:56
  Speaker 6: Family.
• 9:56
Speaker 10: To me, it's just it's it's you know they say
• 9:59
Speaker 10: Chris miss in July. It's that. To me, It's so
• 10:03
Speaker 10: much about family and friends and just spending time together.
• 10:07
Speaker 8: And it makes you so proud. I'm just so proud
• 10:10
Speaker 8: of our nation if you think about how it evolved
• 10:13
Speaker 8: and how where it all started, and those super wise
• 10:16
Speaker 8: men who wrote that constitution, that we still live by
• 10:19
Speaker 8: those words and they keep us, you know, on the
• 10:21
  Speaker 8: straight and arrow.
• 10:22
  Speaker 6: I love that.
• 10:23
Speaker 8: I'm so proud of our country. I'm so proud to
• 10:24
Speaker 8: say that I'm American always and.
• 10:28
Speaker 10: And yet We're only two hundred and fifty years old,
• 10:31
Speaker 10: and when you look at countries in Europe, we've come
• 10:33
  Speaker 10: a long way.
• 10:34
Speaker 6: Baby, we have come. Okay, what is your favorite thing
• 10:38
Speaker 6: to eat down on the fourth of July?
• 10:40
  Speaker 4: Oh?
• 10:40
Speaker 8: God, Like, it's such an American holiday. It's American like
• 10:43
Speaker 8: burgers and hotdogs and apple pie and watermelon. And you
• 10:48
Speaker 8: know somebody will make one of those big sheet cakes
• 10:50
Speaker 8: that looks like the flag with the strawberries and wipperies.
• 10:53
Speaker 6: I have to have it.
• 10:54
Speaker 8: That's just part of the day.
• 10:56
Speaker 10: Okay, I gotta tell you everything. I'm with you one
• 10:58
Speaker 10: hundred percent. Hams have you gotta have the potato chips
• 11:01
Speaker 10: and the dyl ralish. You have to have that apple
• 11:04
Speaker 10: pie ice cream. The one thing I got it. You're
• 11:07
Speaker 10: gonna laugh. Do you know the one thing I never
• 11:10
Speaker 10: eat and clothing I never eat on the fourth of
• 11:13
Speaker 10: July is watermelon. Don't like it?
• 11:15
Speaker 8: You don't like watermelon. I'm obsessed with watermelon.
• 11:18
Speaker 6: No, everyone is. In fact, I have.
• 11:20
Speaker 8: I just looked at an Instagram post about how to
• 11:22
Speaker 8: pick a good watermelon, and I like studied it. I'm like,
• 11:25
Speaker 8: because you know, when you get home, you have a
• 11:26
Speaker 8: new watermelon. You cut it open and it's bad. It's
• 11:29
Speaker 8: so mad. So now I think I know how to
• 11:31
Speaker 8: pick out the perfect watermelon. DM me. If you want
• 11:34
Speaker 8: to know, I have the whole I have the whole
• 11:35
Speaker 8: Instagram thing. So I'm a huge watermelon person.
• 11:38
Speaker 10: Okay, Well, the only thing I like about watermelons is
• 11:42
Speaker 10: when you throw me to a pool and they're greased
• 11:44
Speaker 10: and you have to score a goal.
• 11:45
Speaker 8: You know, I know, it's hilarious. I used to lifeguard
• 11:48
Speaker 8: and I did that one time and one of the
• 11:51
Speaker 8: kids almost dround. I had to jump in and save them.
• 11:53
Speaker 8: So we don't do that anymore.
• 11:54
Speaker 10: Okay, so let's so eat the watermelon, do not drive
• 11:57
Speaker 10: on the pool. Okay, Joe, I know you're with Chop,
• 12:01
Speaker 10: but would you ever ever have had a date, And
• 12:07
Speaker 10: you can ask me the same question on the fourth
• 12:08
  Speaker 10: of July?
• 12:09
Speaker 6: Would you ever do a first date on the fourth
• 12:10
  Speaker 6: of July.
• 12:11
Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm trying to figure out why you wouldn't. It's
• 12:13
Speaker 8: such a fun it would be such a fun date.
• 12:16
Speaker 8: I mean it's kind of like ironic. It's Independence Day,
• 12:19
Speaker 8: and yeah, maybe seeking not being independent, But other than
• 12:23
Speaker 8: that irony, I think it's like there's so much to
• 12:26
Speaker 8: do and and like it's kind of like a no
• 12:28
Speaker 8: pressure date. You already know where it's going to end up. Oh,
• 12:32
Speaker 8: fire works, until you know ten o'clock at night, and
• 12:34
Speaker 8: then you're both gonna be tired and you're gonna go okay,
• 12:37
  Speaker 8: So about you.
• 12:38
Speaker 10: Well, you know, I can see both sides of the same,
• 12:41
Speaker 10: you know, fifty cent piece, here's the deal.
• 12:44
Speaker 6: On the one hand, yes, why wouldn't you want to
• 12:46
Speaker 6: go on a date? Why wouldn't I want to go
• 12:48
Speaker 6: on a first date on the fourth of July?
• 12:50
Speaker 10: Here's the problem for me, Mostly it's with family and
• 12:55
Speaker 10: can you imagine going on a first date and rolling
• 12:59
Speaker 10: them in with my kids, my grandkids. So I couldn't
• 13:03
Speaker 10: do a first date because I spent it with my kids.
• 13:08
Speaker 6: So I would not do a first date. But I
• 13:10
  Speaker 6: agree with you.
• 13:11
Speaker 10: It's a great idea because so much is going on,
• 13:14
Speaker 10: you don't feel the pressure of having to, you know,
• 13:18
Speaker 10: get into serious conversation. You could just have fun, but
• 13:22
Speaker 10: not around my kids, not my grand kids, not a
• 13:25
  Speaker 10: first day.
• 13:26
Speaker 8: Totally agree with you. I think at this point in
• 13:27
Speaker 8: my life I feel the same way that I would
• 13:29
Speaker 8: never do a first date. And you know exactly that
• 13:32
Speaker 8: you couldn't do it in front of your family, but
• 13:35
Speaker 8: what a great one when we were younger would have been.
• 13:37
Speaker 8: I don't think I ever did one. Did you ever
• 13:39
Speaker 8: do one? I think I ever went on a first July?
• 13:42
Speaker 10: Well, well, remember I was married forever. So no, I
• 13:45
Speaker 10: never did have a first date on the fourth of July.
• 13:47
  Speaker 6: But I do.
• 13:49
Speaker 10: I'm so looking forward to this one because I really
• 13:52
Speaker 10: do feel like it's going to be an amazing celebration
• 13:56
  Speaker 10: of our countries.
• 13:57
Speaker 8: I remember, I bet you do too.
• 13:59
Speaker 6: Nineteen, I sure do.
• 14:02
Speaker 8: Two hundred and I were, you know, announcing our age
• 14:05
Speaker 8: the world that we're old enough to remember that. I was,
• 14:09
Speaker 8: you know, I was thirteen, and I remember it perfectly.
• 14:12
Speaker 8: I remember going to a prey down in DC with
• 14:14
Speaker 8: my parents and staying and watching the fireworks.
