- 0:02Speaker 1: Okay, mister Alli. First of all, how are you.
- 0:05Speaker 2: I'm doing. I'm doing really, really, really good.
- 0:09Speaker 3: I got up extra early this morning and did this
- 0:13Speaker 3: beautiful meditation with doctor Joe Dispensa, and I'm feeling I'm
- 0:18Speaker 3: feeling good.
- 0:21Speaker 4: So tell me a little bit about you. Tell me
- 0:24Speaker 4: about your story about how you got to Joe Dispensa
- 0:29Speaker 4: and now you're doing medicaid meditations and.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Now you are living a dream that.
- 0:36Speaker 4: Probably twenty thirty years you've probably been doing something completely
- 0:41Speaker 4: different and now here you are.
- 0:43Speaker 1: How did you get there?
- 0:44Speaker 3: Well, there were a lot of screw ups through messing everything,
- 0:49Speaker 3: messing up everything I could get my hands on, first
- 0:52Speaker 3: and foremost. But I'm a father of three, which is
- 0:56Speaker 3: a very very big part of my life.
- 0:58Speaker 2: And I always tell.
- 0:59Speaker 3: People that my work is my worship. You know, this
- 1:02Speaker 3: was my indoctrination into the world like this is. You
- 1:06Speaker 3: know what what I do in my work, whether you
- 1:09Speaker 3: know on its face where real estate developers or someone
- 1:11Speaker 3: would tell you I'm an investment manager, I'm an attorney,
- 1:15Speaker 3: but that is just very one small piece of what
- 1:19Speaker 3: we're actually doing. I always say, you know, people in
- 1:22Speaker 3: our business build houses.
- 1:24Speaker 2: We build homes and and that.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Was a very very big part for me as as
- 1:29Speaker 3: a as a thinker, as a dreamer, as someone that
- 1:32Speaker 3: wanted to you know, wanted to be seen, wanted to
- 1:35Speaker 3: do something that was meaningful. I think, as you know,
- 1:38Speaker 3: when I was a little bit younger, with less gray
- 1:41Speaker 3: hair and you know, more reckless and more bold, you know,
- 1:44Speaker 3: I wanted to I wanted to do something that would
- 1:47Speaker 3: make money. I wanted to do something that would get recognition.
- 1:50Speaker 3: And I think as as the years went by, those
- 1:53Speaker 3: values changed so fundamentally that what started about me started
- 1:58Speaker 3: to be about everybody else, you know, started to be
- 2:00Speaker 3: about one person, started to be about contribution. And the
- 2:04Speaker 3: irony of that statement is when the focus came away
- 2:08Speaker 3: from me, the business also grew exponentially, and we were
- 2:13Speaker 3: able to help so many people from so many different
- 2:15Speaker 3: parts of the world, so many different different types of investors,
- 2:19Speaker 3: so many different type of vendors and businesses and tenants
- 2:22Speaker 3: in our office buildings. And it's allowed me to meet
- 2:27Speaker 3: a very interesting group of people that have taught me
- 2:30Speaker 3: so many different things about how teams are built, how
- 2:33Speaker 3: how companies grow and why, and you know, how you
- 2:37Speaker 3: can sell things, how you can market them what does
- 2:39Speaker 3: that mean? And it gave me just a really like
- 2:42Speaker 3: a sliced view of what the world is. And to me,
- 2:46Speaker 3: I think a company is one of the greatest ways,
- 2:49Speaker 3: if done properly, that you can really contribute, you know,
- 2:52Speaker 3: to build systems and processes and have logistical prowess to
- 2:56Speaker 3: spread whatever your product is, hopefully something you really believe,
- 3:00Speaker 3: even something that will make the world, you know, a
- 3:02Speaker 3: better place, and have the business as a platform to
- 3:06Speaker 3: really to really spread that in a meaningful way. And
- 3:11Speaker 3: all of this looking back came, as I said, from
- 3:13Speaker 3: just profound amounts of failures, failures and health failures and
- 3:17Speaker 3: emotion failures and relationships you know, failures and old businesses
- 3:21Speaker 3: that weren't my destiny. And then you know, from being
- 3:23Speaker 3: kicked in the teeth enough and you know, lying on
- 3:26Speaker 3: the ground and desperation, taking a moment to see if
- 3:29Speaker 3: there was something to learn, if there was a silver lining,
- 3:31Speaker 3: if there was a lesson, if you know, that problem
- 3:35Speaker 3: was actually a gift that you know, I could grow from.
- 3:38Speaker 3: And in the process of that introspection and those processes
- 3:41Speaker 3: of you know, kind of the ebb and flow of life.
- 3:44Speaker 5: I started to come away with some golden nuggets, things that.
- 3:46Speaker 3: I cherished, things that I could learn from, things that
- 3:49Speaker 3: I could build from in every area of my life,
- 3:52Speaker 3: because I believe, certainly as a founder and a CEO,
- 3:56Speaker 3: you know, your business is an extension of you, you know,
- 3:58Speaker 3: and and the better I felt, you know, the better
- 4:01Speaker 3: I worked on my health, on both my physical health
- 4:04Speaker 3: in terms of you know, vitamins and nutrients and food,
- 4:07Speaker 3: my mental health through you know, meditation work and you know,
- 4:11Speaker 3: emotional fitness work, physical.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Work, all of that work, All of that.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Progress, I should say, is what kind of all came
- 4:21Speaker 3: together into what we do today.
- 4:25Speaker 1: That makes sense.
- 4:27Speaker 4: It's just like with my health when it started deteriorating
- 4:30Speaker 4: and I had to have emergency goll about the surgery,
- 4:34Speaker 4: and I say, when we're kids, we do what's expected
- 4:39Speaker 4: because our parents have these expectations based on what they
- 4:44Speaker 4: think we should be, the things that they didn't do,
- 4:49Speaker 4: or there's a lot of jealousy because you're doing the
- 4:53Speaker 4: things that they didn't do. And I tell people that
- 4:58Speaker 4: we do what's expected. And it's just like when they
- 5:01Speaker 4: talk about AI taking over jobs, what is everybody gonna
- 5:05Speaker 4: do when it takes over all these jobs who's gonna
- 5:09Speaker 4: spend money, how's money going to be distributed?
- 5:13Speaker 1: And it's like a lot of things that.
- 5:16Speaker 4: Twenty years ago would have never been spoken as now
- 5:20Speaker 4: being spoken. And it just shows how generations have changed
- 5:25Speaker 4: because now people are being more open about their intentions
- 5:29Speaker 4: because when I listen to Donald Trump, I'm just sitting
- 5:32Speaker 4: here like, Wow, you bold.
- 5:35Speaker 1: When I listen to Eon Musk, you're bold. And so.
- 5:41Speaker 4: It's like for me, I think the biggest thing for
- 5:45Speaker 4: me was you get tired of the rugs being pulled
- 5:48Speaker 4: from up under you when you lose your job or
- 5:51Speaker 4: when you lose a relationship, or like you said, your failures.
- 5:56Speaker 4: And I tell people those failures are nothing but lessons
- 6:01Speaker 4: that when you get older or when you come to
- 6:05Speaker 4: the realization, you're like, I'm doing what's.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Expected, but not what my purpose is.
- 6:13Speaker 4: Though I'm not doing what my natural talent is, or
- 6:17Speaker 4: if I'm doing it based on my talent, someone else
- 6:20Speaker 4: is making money off what I do.
- 6:22Speaker 1: I don't own one hundred percent of my company.
- 6:25Speaker 4: It's like when I watch Shark Tank and I watch
- 6:28Speaker 4: something and I always ask myself, why don't these people
- 6:31Speaker 4: ever put in their contracts that whatever the amount is
- 6:35Speaker 4: that they bought into that company for these investors, that
- 6:39Speaker 4: you have the option to buy it back before the
- 6:43Speaker 4: value goes up. Because once the value goes up and
- 6:47Speaker 4: you want to buy back those shares, they're not just
- 6:51Speaker 4: going to give it back to the original amount.
- 6:53Speaker 2: That no, they will not.
- 6:55Speaker 1: No.
- 6:55Speaker 4: And if that's not in your contract that you have
- 6:58Speaker 4: the option to buy it back, but the exact amount
- 7:03Speaker 4: that you basically are asking for, then it is no
- 7:08Speaker 4: longer your company. And I tell people that all the time.
- 7:12Speaker 4: You know, once other people get involved, the thing that
- 7:17Speaker 4: you loved about it, the thing that you were passionate about,
- 7:21Speaker 4: it is now more corporate and it's not fun anymore.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I think a lot of people, a
- 7:31Speaker 3: lot of people will share, you know, will share your
- 7:35Speaker 3: belief around that. I think that the investors, you know,
- 7:38Speaker 3: will look at it because everything is about perspective I
- 7:41Speaker 3: found in my life. You know, I think that you know,
- 7:43Speaker 3: it depends on what side of the fence you're standing on.
- 7:46Speaker 3: It depends on, you know, the perspective that you have
- 7:48Speaker 3: and what season in your life that you're in, right Like,
- 7:51Speaker 3: you know, how you yourself look at something. You know,
- 7:54Speaker 3: as a young lady versus you look at a little
- 7:56Speaker 3: bit a few years later. I know for myself, those
- 7:58Speaker 3: perspective change. And you know, the investors, you know that
- 8:01Speaker 3: put money in, they might say, you know, we took
- 8:04Speaker 3: all the risks that we didn't know this business was
- 8:06Speaker 3: going to even you know, make any money, and then
- 8:08Speaker 3: now that it does, we're not going to sell it
- 8:10Speaker 3: back to you, you know, because we took that kind
- 8:12Speaker 3: of risk. And then the founder might say, well, there
- 8:14Speaker 3: wasn't a risk cause I knew it was going to work,
- 8:16Speaker 3: and uh, I just needed money.
- 8:19Speaker 2: I didn't need your brain.
- 8:20Speaker 3: So I think so much of life is is figuring
- 8:25Speaker 3: out where that dance is like where you know, where
- 8:29Speaker 3: are those perspective changes. And you know, people talk about
- 8:31Speaker 3: the grass being greener, you know, on the other side,
- 8:34Speaker 3: and we hear these cliches and these things people talk about,
- 8:37Speaker 3: but in my experience, the grass is greener where you
- 8:40Speaker 3: water it, you know. And and ultimately for me, I
- 8:45Speaker 3: find that having faith and having self reliance have been
- 8:50Speaker 3: the only things that in my you know, I'm one guy,
- 8:53Speaker 3: I'm a you know, I didn't come for much.
- 8:55Speaker 2: I was lucky that, you know, I was born in America.
- 8:58Speaker 3: You know, my father was a single father that raised
- 9:00Speaker 3: me and you know, put me in the situation. But
- 9:04Speaker 3: you know, as you said, twenty or so years ago,
- 9:06Speaker 3: I was delivering pizzas and flipping burgers, you know, going
- 9:09Speaker 3: to two community colleges to even get into university, you know,
- 9:14Speaker 3: barely getting out of high school. You know, just screwing
- 9:17Speaker 3: around and you know, not really having direction and you
- 9:21Speaker 3: know those things. You know, I was very fortunate enough
- 9:23Speaker 3: that they changed. But I find that no matter what
- 9:26Speaker 3: the situation is, if we can or I can put.
- 9:30Speaker 2: The focus on myself of.
- 9:32Speaker 3: What can I do, because there's so many things that
- 9:34Speaker 3: you have no control over. But on a day to
- 9:37Speaker 3: day basis, when I started to focus on my health,
- 9:39Speaker 3: which is a big part. I was an entrepreneur. I
- 9:41Speaker 3: was running a business. You know, I was raising a
- 9:44Speaker 3: young family, and I was tired. You know, when I
- 9:47Speaker 3: was just putting myself to the ringer and things were
- 9:50Speaker 3: you know, falling apart. I found that what I put
- 9:53Speaker 3: in my mouth was one of the only things that
- 9:55Speaker 3: I could control, Like what I was going to eat.
- 9:57Speaker 3: Could I move my body a little bit? Could I
- 9:59Speaker 3: you know, even when things were out of my control,
- 10:02Speaker 3: you know, how I managed my own what I listened to,
- 10:05Speaker 3: the music I listened to, the what are the podcasts?
- 10:07Speaker 3: I listened to, the emotional inputs, the people that I listened.
- 10:12Speaker 2: To all kind of mattered.
- 10:14Speaker 3: So when I started to take back control of things
- 10:16Speaker 3: that I thought would be productive or would be you know, healthy,
- 10:20Speaker 3: whether physically healthy, emotionally healthy, I found that focusing on
- 10:24Speaker 3: those things made me focus on things that I was
- 10:26Speaker 3: grateful for, even when you know, there was plenty of
- 10:29Speaker 3: things that I could have complained about.
- 10:31Speaker 2: The more that I controlled.
- 10:32Speaker 3: My focus and build that muscle of focusing on what's
- 10:36Speaker 3: right in my life, I found that more of that
- 10:39Speaker 3: was able was able to grow, because what's wrong for
- 10:42Speaker 3: all of us is always available, but so is what's right.
- 10:46Speaker 4: Break. I look at a business like like any type
- 10:49Speaker 4: of flower or any type of thing that you plant.
- 10:54Speaker 4: Even with our health and wellness is the same thing.
- 10:57Speaker 4: We all start out as a sale. We start out
- 11:00Speaker 4: as something and it grows into something. But I learned
- 11:06Speaker 4: in my own journey of my health and wellness that
- 11:09Speaker 4: when it comes down to your mental mentality, the mind
- 11:15Speaker 4: and body and spirit got the work together.
- 11:18Speaker 3: Yeah they do, and I think I think they're I
- 11:20Speaker 3: think they're intertwined, you know. I you know, there's so
- 11:23Speaker 3: much work that doctor Joe, you know I did. I've
- 11:25Speaker 3: done a bunch of his, you know, seven day seminars,
- 11:28Speaker 3: which is quite the luxury and quite the privilege honestly
- 11:31Speaker 3: to be around you know, thousands of people you know
- 11:34Speaker 3: that are you know, that are focused on putting their
- 11:36Speaker 3: mind and their heart in synchronicity too, you know, to
- 11:41Speaker 3: have to have change, that positive change. And seeing people
- 11:45Speaker 3: that were in remarkable, remarkably bad situations with their health,
- 11:50Speaker 3: with their lives, and by changing their mindset, changing their
- 11:54Speaker 3: heart set, getting profound benefits, was was very inspiring for me,
- 11:59Speaker 3: you know, and it's something that I big. I'm a
- 12:02Speaker 3: big believer that, you know, you can use your mind
- 12:04Speaker 3: to change your body, and you can use your body to.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Change your mind.
- 12:07Speaker 3: And if the pillars are not aligned, the mental, spiritual, physical,
- 12:12Speaker 3: you know, don't have an alignment and aren't working together.
- 12:15Speaker 5: The body and the and the mind and the herder out.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Of balance and and whatever we can do wherever we
- 12:20Speaker 3: can start with that, whether we start with our physical health,
- 12:23Speaker 3: whether we start with our mental health, but putting ourselves
- 12:26Speaker 3: in a position where we're moving towards that healthier balance.
- 12:30Speaker 3: Then you can have the privilege to work on your
- 12:32Speaker 3: financial health, to work on all these other things. But
- 12:35Speaker 3: ultimately it comes back to finding a level of balance
- 12:37Speaker 3: and eliminating the toxins, you know, whatever that is. Yeah,
- 12:44Speaker 3: and we all know the people that are more toxic
- 12:46Speaker 3: than any type of you know, food or chemical could
- 12:49Speaker 3: possibly be, and you know, starting to have some awareness
- 12:53Speaker 3: around that those things and starting to remove them and
- 12:55Speaker 3: starting to put good things in. But it is a process.
- 12:59Speaker 3: It's not an over thing. It is a practice. I
- 13:02Speaker 3: don't think it's a destination as much as it's something
- 13:04Speaker 3: that we work towards progress.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I agree.
- 13:07Speaker 4: And I learned that when I couldn't walk. I remember
- 13:12Speaker 4: my mind was like you gotta get up. My body's like,
- 13:17Speaker 4: oh no, I can't. And I learned that anxiety is
- 13:23Speaker 4: not just mental, it's also physical because something there's a disconnect.
- 13:28Speaker 4: And I remember they told me when I couldn't drive,
- 13:31Speaker 4: they said, the reason it's happening because even though mentally
- 13:34Speaker 4: you're you're you're fine, but physically your body isn't connecting
- 13:40Speaker 4: because something has blockage. And until you figure out what
- 13:44Speaker 4: that blockage is, that anxiety is going to be there
- 13:48Speaker 4: kind to find out this whole entire time, it was
- 13:50Speaker 4: something in my ear that was in affecting my ear,
- 13:52Speaker 4: that was hitting against my ear drum for years and
- 13:56Speaker 4: didn't know that.
- 13:57Speaker 1: What it was.
- 13:58Speaker 4: And so when I started going through this healing journey,
- 14:03Speaker 4: I said, well, it's got to start spiritually. I got
- 14:06Speaker 4: to be able to overcome the bondage and the cages
- 14:10Speaker 4: and the chains that are holding me back. That could
- 14:15Speaker 4: be environment, that could be people, that could be relationships,
- 14:19Speaker 4: it could be a lot.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Of different things.
- 14:21Speaker 4: And when I just said to myself, you know what, God,
- 14:26Speaker 4: sometimes God will move everything just so you can have
- 14:30Speaker 4: a clear canvas, just so you can move in silence,
- 14:34Speaker 4: like forty eight Laws and Power. So when I heard
- 14:38Speaker 4: Joe de spends to talk about the fact of our
- 14:40Speaker 4: behavior and how a lot of it is based upon
- 14:46Speaker 4: our traumas and we're still holding on to that pain,
- 14:50Speaker 4: I was like when I went and prayed and said
- 14:54Speaker 4: just take it all. I went back to the story
- 14:56Speaker 4: of Job and I said, Lord, just take at all.
- 15:01Speaker 4: I said, I've been in this world, I've walked down
- 15:03Speaker 4: these journeys. I tried to be society standards. I've worked
- 15:07Speaker 4: a regular job. The rugs been pulled them up under me,
- 15:10Speaker 4: everything being stripped. I'm in the hospital.
- 15:12Speaker 1: I'm sick. I said, what am I missing?
- 15:16Speaker 4: And I realized, I said, I'm not walking in the
- 15:20Speaker 4: right journey.
- 15:22Speaker 1: I don't have the right people around me.
- 15:24Speaker 4: And when I got sick, especially when you're someone that
- 15:29Speaker 4: is raised to be independent, people don't understand. A lot
- 15:33Speaker 4: of people are raised to be independent. It's not because
- 15:35Speaker 4: of a husband. It's not because of a wife. It's
- 15:39Speaker 4: because their families missed their events. There was always this
- 15:42Speaker 4: golden child, invisible child, and that invisible child had to
- 15:46Speaker 4: do everything on their own.
- 15:48Speaker 1: They had to.
- 15:49Speaker 4: Live without things that the other child was getting naturally,
- 15:53Speaker 4: the comparisons, and even still they still want that love,
- 15:56Speaker 4: they still want that acceptance. So I said, when I
- 16:01Speaker 4: become successful, it isn't about the cars, it isn't about
- 16:05Speaker 4: the homes, It's not about any of that. Because when
- 16:07Speaker 4: I leave this earth, none of it's coming with me.
- 16:11Speaker 4: That none of it's coming. I said, I'm gonna take
- 16:15Speaker 4: my money instead and use it for my health and wellness,
- 16:19Speaker 4: use it for seeing the world, using it for.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Helping other people. But that was because I got sick.
- 16:27Speaker 3: Yep.
- 16:28Speaker 4: And when you don't have the money to go to
- 16:30Speaker 4: the doctor, and I'm seeing people die, people that go
- 16:34Speaker 4: to the doctor every thirty days, go to the emergency room,
- 16:37Speaker 4: you have stage four cancer because they were never tested
- 16:40Speaker 4: for it. But how would they know they had cancer
- 16:43Speaker 4: if there's no sign there's no signs, there's no signals.
- 16:47Speaker 1: So it was just really one of those things.
- 16:49Speaker 4: Where my body I had to say, help me to
- 16:53Speaker 4: connect with my body and understand it. When I decided
- 16:57Speaker 4: to do coaching, people said, will you're trying to Oh, sorry,
- 17:06Speaker 4: my thing stop. I don't know why my thing does
- 17:11Speaker 4: is it's connected to my own think my glasses. But
- 17:15Speaker 4: I would say, just like AI, you know, I use
- 17:17Speaker 4: a lot of to get a lot of information. But
- 17:20Speaker 4: now it's more about knowledge being intellectual. It's more about
- 17:23Speaker 4: what I can prove. It's more about before I jump
- 17:26Speaker 4: into something, let me go ahead and go through it
- 17:29Speaker 4: before I actually do it, and it's impacted in a
- 17:33Speaker 4: worse way.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Does that make sense?
- 17:36Speaker 5: Yeah, it does.
- 17:36Speaker 2: It does.
- 17:37Speaker 3: One thing you said about independence, nothing is actually independent
- 17:41Speaker 3: in nature. Nothing exists by itself. Every single thing, this
- 17:45Speaker 3: human body looks like it's one thing, one body, but
- 17:49Speaker 3: there's trillions of cells working together, trillions of things happening.
- 17:53Speaker 3: You know, you build a family that takes a family
- 17:55Speaker 3: is multiple people to make a family a business, as
- 17:58Speaker 3: multiple teammates, team winning franchises. Even you know, tennis looks
- 18:03Speaker 3: like individual sports, but there's you know, trainers and there's
- 18:06Speaker 3: so many people that are around that that independence is
- 18:10Speaker 3: a lie. You know, everything is interdependent and you know,
- 18:14Speaker 3: overly focusing on one thing or trying to be independent,
- 18:17Speaker 3: I think goes against you know, how how form or
- 18:20Speaker 3: how nature intended us to all have community and have
- 18:24Speaker 3: unity and everyone having you know, a certain piece like
- 18:28Speaker 3: you said about your passion or about your your calling.
- 18:31Speaker 3: You know, when you put a lot of people. You
- 18:33Speaker 3: look at a basketball team. You know the center and
- 18:35Speaker 3: the shooting guard aren't the same. You know, they're on
- 18:38Speaker 3: the same team you are going to hold up a trophy,
- 18:40Speaker 3: but they have very different positions.
- 18:42Speaker 2: And that's a beautiful thing.
- 18:43Speaker 3: When you can find the people that can, you know,
- 18:46Speaker 3: support your weaknesses and your strengths can complement there you
- 18:50Speaker 3: know their weaknesses and vice versa is when magic really
- 18:54Speaker 3: starts to happen. And taking a step back and realizing
- 18:56Speaker 3: that life is team.
- 18:57Speaker 4: Sports age with Kobe said about his work ethic and
- 19:03Speaker 4: you look him. I always compare those two Michael Jordans.
- 19:07Speaker 4: Michael Jordan at first did not win championships. At first,
- 19:11Speaker 4: Michael Jordan was not having a company where Nike to
- 19:14Speaker 4: this day, as far as Jordan's is still making money.
- 19:18Speaker 1: He was a unc basketball player.
- 19:21Speaker 4: That got into a situation where when he went to
- 19:24Speaker 4: a team that did not win a championship, he basically
- 19:29Speaker 4: made everybody around him work harder because he was disciplined
- 19:33Speaker 4: and he knew without that team, even though he was
- 19:37Speaker 4: the star of that team, even though he's one of
- 19:40Speaker 4: the greatest of all time, he always says, it's team.
- 19:46Speaker 4: But I can't make everybody on the team have the
- 19:48Speaker 4: same work ethic and the same discipline as me. But
- 19:52Speaker 4: I need to know what everybody actually does as far
- 19:55Speaker 4: as what their things are to make things better.
- 19:58Speaker 3: So yeah, I definitely sports are You know, sports pre
- 20:05Speaker 3: date written language by almost twenty thousand years, you know,
- 20:09Speaker 3: and and when you think of that, sports are such
- 20:13Speaker 3: a human experience for a variety of reasons. Like I said,
- 20:17Speaker 3: think about that concept predates written language by twenty thousand years.
- 20:20Speaker 3: You're talking about just this enormous change. Like when you
- 20:22Speaker 3: look at Olympia and Greece and you look at what
- 20:25Speaker 3: all these words have come to mean. All of it
- 20:28Speaker 3: is still centered around some team. It's centered around some
- 20:31Speaker 3: leadership that incorporates, like I said, interdependence around all of it.
- 20:36Speaker 3: You know, you know, Kobe had a work ethic that was,
- 20:38Speaker 3: you know, a complete different animal. You know, people that
- 20:42Speaker 3: played with Michael will tell you that he made people
- 20:45Speaker 3: better just by the example that he set.
- 20:48Speaker 5: And I think that also comes back to.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Like we said, having a team absolutely, but then being
- 20:54Speaker 3: able to focus on the thing that we can control,
- 20:56Speaker 3: if that means getting to the gym in the morning,
- 20:58Speaker 3: if that means you know, eating a certain type of food,
- 21:01Speaker 3: not eating a certain type of food, not talking to
- 21:04Speaker 3: a certain person, but finding a way to balance between
- 21:07Speaker 3: what we can control ourselves as an individual and knowing
- 21:10Speaker 3: that you know, we can be you know, the creators
- 21:12Speaker 3: of our life, and then finding grace and finding room
- 21:16Speaker 3: and finding faith to find the people around us that
- 21:18Speaker 3: can make it all work together, and having the humility
- 21:22Speaker 3: to let people do certain kind of things, carry certain
- 21:24Speaker 3: water when we need help, or asking for help when
- 21:27Speaker 3: we need it.
- 21:28Speaker 2: I think is a great sign of strength.
- 21:30Speaker 3: I think, you know, you watch Brene Brown and her
- 21:33Speaker 3: Ted talk on the power of vulnerability. You know, asking
- 21:36Speaker 3: for help when we need it, I think is also.
- 21:38Speaker 5: An act of courage.
- 21:39Speaker 2: You know.
- 21:39Speaker 3: I think people live quiet lives of desperation so much
- 21:42Speaker 3: in the society, where they don't speak up when they
- 21:44Speaker 3: actually need help, or they wait too long, you know,
- 21:47Speaker 3: when that pain is really hurting. And I think if
- 21:50Speaker 3: we work together and we can share those things and
- 21:52Speaker 3: we have that kind of courage, which is by absolutely
- 21:55Speaker 3: not easy, by any stretch of the imagination, I think
- 21:58Speaker 3: good things can start to happen.
- 22:01Speaker 4: I agree, And that's why I said, I'm glad we're
- 22:03Speaker 4: having this conversation because I think people think business is
- 22:08Speaker 4: just about you create something, you make a lot of
- 22:11Speaker 4: money off of it. But I think the part that
- 22:15Speaker 4: people don't understand is that everything we do in a
- 22:20Speaker 4: business is about something that is a supplied that is
- 22:23Speaker 4: a demand, something to help.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Billing a need.
- 22:27Speaker 5: Yes done it a great look.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Anything can be taken.
- 22:30Speaker 3: Like you can do sports and use a lot of
- 22:33Speaker 3: performance enhancing drugs and cheat it, you can do the
- 22:35Speaker 3: same thing in a business, or you can do a
- 22:37Speaker 3: business in.
- 22:38Speaker 2: A righteous way. You know, It's like a gun.
- 22:40Speaker 3: You can have a gun that can be used as
- 22:42Speaker 3: you know, to having it to hunt and feed your family,
- 22:46Speaker 3: or you can use it for some other behavior that's
- 22:48Speaker 3: hurting people. Like it's a tool, and I think the
- 22:51Speaker 3: people that are holding those tools and utilizing those tools
- 22:54Speaker 3: aren't always created with the same intentions, if you know
- 22:58Speaker 3: what I mean. So in a perfect world, I think
- 23:01Speaker 3: business is one of the greatest ways that we can
- 23:03Speaker 3: deliver incredible products.
- 23:04Speaker 2: To people that are in need.
- 23:06Speaker 3: And again, it can also be used in a way
- 23:09Speaker 3: that's hurtful and just like anything, and I think people
- 23:12Speaker 3: take all sorts of things and they twist them around
- 23:15Speaker 3: based upon the intention. But there's but I do believe
- 23:19Speaker 3: in the good of people, and I do believe that you.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Know that the good will outweigh the bad.
- 23:24Speaker 3: And I do believe, being in the circles that I've
- 23:26Speaker 3: been fortunate enough to be in, that there are some
- 23:29Speaker 3: good people out there wanted to do good work, wanting
- 23:31Speaker 3: to help people in a very meaningful way, and that's
- 23:33Speaker 3: very inspiring for me.
- 23:35Speaker 1: I agree, and I think that's something that's important.
- 23:38Speaker 4: I said when I went on a cruise on Friday
- 23:42Speaker 4: last Friday, and I was gone from the twenty third
- 23:46Speaker 4: to the thirtieth.
- 23:47Speaker 1: I'm just sitting to myself and saying to myself, I'm
- 23:51Speaker 1: in this place and I'm not going anywhere.
- 23:59Speaker 4: I'm just in the middle of nowhere and I'm just
- 24:03Speaker 4: sitting there like, oh my god, we're actually in the water.
- 24:09Speaker 4: And I did a video where I was just sitting
- 24:11Speaker 4: and I was just looking at the water, and I
- 24:13Speaker 4: said to the water represents opportunity. The water represents there's
- 24:19Speaker 4: no bills, there's no problems. It's just water, and there's
- 24:27Speaker 4: so many different things that can happen. But I felt
- 24:32Speaker 4: at peace, and I just said that water represents a
- 24:35Speaker 4: canvas like that and that water want.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Yeah, you build what you want.
- 24:41Speaker 4: That water is only going to turn gray if we contaminated,
- 24:45Speaker 4: if we.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Pull out it.
- 24:47Speaker 4: So I said to me it represented my health because
- 24:51Speaker 4: I was like, I want to get to that place.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Where I'm healthy.
- 24:56Speaker 4: The water is blue, and the only time is it's
- 25:00Speaker 4: messed with or there's a storm where the waves are
- 25:06Speaker 4: out of order is when there's a storm. But when
- 25:10Speaker 4: that storm passes and the sun rise, sun comes up
- 25:15Speaker 4: after the gray and the sky and the water or
- 25:18Speaker 4: whatever tornado, hurricane, or whatever storm happens, that water still
- 25:24Speaker 4: go back to a calm and still go back to
- 25:26Speaker 4: it being blue, It still go back to being pretty.
- 25:29Speaker 4: It still goes back to being calm. So even though
- 25:33Speaker 4: that water went through that storm and we were going
- 25:35Speaker 4: up and down and it was shaking, but that next
- 25:39Speaker 4: morning we woke up, it was calm.
- 25:41Speaker 1: It was just as if that storm never happened.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Well, I like I like the way.
- 25:46Speaker 3: I like the way you said that, and I'm glad
- 25:48Speaker 3: we got to talk for a little bit today.
- 25:49Speaker 2: I think you were right.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Yep.
- 25:52Speaker 4: So I'm really looking forward to doing that because I
- 25:54Speaker 4: think that when it comes to business, there's a healing
- 25:58Speaker 4: in business.
- 25:59Speaker 1: There's a healing in failure.
- 26:00Speaker 4: Even in business that's no different than a divorce, that's
- 26:04Speaker 4: no different than losing a child.
- 26:06Speaker 1: It's just like a depth.
- 26:07Speaker 4: I feel like that when we go through these feeling,
- 26:10Speaker 4: these failures. The one thing that I tell people is
- 26:14Speaker 4: negativity only lasts as long as you allow it to
- 26:17Speaker 4: distractions only last as long as you allow things to
- 26:21Speaker 4: distract you. Your self esteem can only be broken as
- 26:25Speaker 4: long as you allow people to break it. But when
- 26:28Speaker 4: you take everything that you've been through, and you make
- 26:32Speaker 4: amends for your wrongs, and you forgive those who have
- 26:35Speaker 4: wronged you, and you take those failures and saying what
- 26:39Speaker 4: could us, should have, would have done differently? Now, those
- 26:42Speaker 4: could have should have woods are now things you actually do,
- 26:45Speaker 4: Those things that you look back on, not because like
- 26:48Speaker 4: the story of Lot, you're literally looking back. You don't
- 26:51Speaker 4: even have to literally look back. You're just thinking back
- 26:54Speaker 4: and saying, Okay, why does this feel familiar to me?
- 26:58Speaker 4: So now I'm going back and saying, okay, this is
- 27:00Speaker 4: familiar to me. Now I'm saying, Okay, now I'm gonna
- 27:03Speaker 4: do clean eating. Even though the foundation is the same,
- 27:07Speaker 4: the way I'm going about it is the same. I
- 27:09Speaker 4: may have to change products, I may have to change
- 27:13Speaker 4: different things.
- 27:14Speaker 1: I may have to alter things.
- 27:16Speaker 4: But that original foundation that made me successful, that got
- 27:22Speaker 4: me through that storm, that gave me that calmness and
- 27:25Speaker 4: that peace, those non negotiables that I now have, not
- 27:29Speaker 4: only in my business, not only in my relationship, not
- 27:31Speaker 4: only in how I raised my children, are based on
- 27:34Speaker 4: those non negotiables. So now those non negotiables are my foundation.
- 27:40Speaker 4: Those are things I'm not going to alter. But I
- 27:42Speaker 4: may have to change the times.
- 27:46Speaker 1: That I do them.
- 27:47Speaker 4: I may not have to do them as much because
- 27:49Speaker 4: I've reached that goal, but that doesn't mean I still
- 27:53Speaker 4: don't do it. It just means I'm maintaining the foundation
- 27:57Speaker 4: of what originally made me lose the weight. It's not
- 28:01Speaker 4: about me obtaining my success. It's about me maintaining it
- 28:04Speaker 4: for the rest of my life. It's about me healing,
- 28:07Speaker 4: It's about me eating and clean eating. Whatever the lifestyle
- 28:12Speaker 4: is that I choose, I have to maintain that forever,
- 28:15Speaker 4: not just temporarily.
- 28:17Speaker 2: I love it.
- 28:19Speaker 3: I love it well, thank you so much for inviting
- 28:22Speaker 3: me on. It was great talking with you.
- 28:24Speaker 4: Yeah, and I can't wait to actually do the podcast.
- 28:27Speaker 3: So whenever you're able to give a little bit of
- 28:31Speaker 3: insight and you can put it out there and hopefully
- 28:33Speaker 3: someone's listening and they heard some stuff that you had
- 28:36Speaker 3: to say that helped them, so that's great.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:39Speaker 4: So I'm looking forward to doing the podcast because I
- 28:41Speaker 4: really want to go in the direction of talking about
- 28:45Speaker 4: being successful and why we cannot maintain that. Why is
- 28:51Speaker 4: it that we do things but we don't maintain it.
- 28:54Speaker 4: We're doing these temporary fixes.
- 28:56Speaker 1: Like I look at it like an infection that.
- 29:01Speaker 4: You keep saying it just sits there, you don't do
- 29:04Speaker 4: anything about it.
- 29:05Speaker 1: That infection is gonna spread.
- 29:07Speaker 4: Pain is gonna spread, and even if you take aspirin,
- 29:11Speaker 4: even if you cure it, it doesn't mean.
- 29:14Speaker 1: That pain is not going to spread.
- 29:15Speaker 4: Psychologically, emotionally in your business, because I'm seeing so many
- 29:19Speaker 4: people that become successful and they lose everything and then
- 29:24Speaker 4: it's like you seeing a lot of celebrities that are
- 29:27Speaker 4: broke and they're hooked on drugs, and you're just like,
- 29:31Speaker 4: how is this possible?
- 29:34Speaker 2: Well, well, we'll get to talk about those things.
- 29:36Speaker 3: I got to jump on another call though, but I
- 29:39Speaker 3: really appreciate the time.
- 29:40Speaker 5: Thank you so much.
- 29:41Speaker 4: You're welcome, and I'll send you my calendar and then
- 29:44Speaker 4: we can schedule time to do it.
- 29:46Speaker 2: Well, thanks again, welcome you.
- 29:49Speaker 4: Bye,
