- 0:05Speaker 1: Beyond its mm hmmm are you recording? Yeah, all right,
- 0:29Speaker 1: we've seen the stats people, Like that's how this episode's
- 0:33Speaker 1: gonna start, like like just me just immediately coming on,
- 0:35Speaker 1: like we've seen the stats people, and we know what
- 0:38Speaker 1: you want. And and it's smut. Our most popular book
- 0:42Speaker 1: Watcher episodes outside of like the earlier episodes like with
- 0:46Speaker 1: Aragon Eldest and the Lord of the Rings trilogies, our
- 0:50Speaker 1: most popular episodes are smut. And we see you in Bangladesh.
- 0:56Speaker 1: We see you over there downloading all of our episodes
- 1:00Speaker 1: that like, we know what you're up to. And also
- 1:02Speaker 1: in Iran, like, well, wasn't there one in Iran?
- 1:05Speaker 2: Yeah, like there were some in Iran, in Iraq and.
- 1:07Speaker 1: I read in Iraq. We know what you're listening to.
- 1:10Speaker 1: We know what you like reading, okay, and we're gonna
- 1:12Speaker 1: give it to you.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Oh my god. Yeah, I already have my pics ready.
- 1:22Speaker 2: There's a vampire at a bath house and then.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Is it a is it yawn?
- 1:30Speaker 2: It's it's I don't think that one's as raunchy as
- 1:34Speaker 2: the other one. There's another one. It's gonna be a lot.
- 1:38Speaker 2: It's gonna be a lot of vampires. From me anyways.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Uh crack, I haven't really aside from All That's Left
- 1:48Speaker 3: in the World because I just read a a I.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Just read an LGBTQ book called All That's Left in
- 1:54Speaker 1: the World about two teams, about two teen boys who
- 1:58Speaker 1: are surviving together in a post pandemic apocalypse. Uh. And
- 2:05Speaker 1: this book is not smutty at all. It's cute. It's
- 2:08Speaker 1: a cute little it's I'll say that it is cute,
- 2:10Speaker 1: all right, It's wholesome. They boys learned to survive together.
- 2:14Speaker 1: They fall in love, all right. Honestly. The smuttiest scene
- 2:17Speaker 1: in this entire book was when like they were they
- 2:20Speaker 1: they were traveling. It's like they're they're like walking in
- 2:23Speaker 1: the summer heat and they're like dying. And then they
- 2:26Speaker 1: come across the river after like going like for dozens
- 2:29Speaker 1: of miles without seeing any like large sources of water,
- 2:32Speaker 1: and they're and they got so excited that without thinking,
- 2:34Speaker 1: they just run in and like just chuck all their
- 2:36Speaker 1: clothes and just dive into the water. That's like literally
- 2:39Speaker 1: the smuttiest scene eup. And there's not even any details
- 2:42Speaker 1: like about them about anything, no more details beyond like
- 2:46Speaker 1: they just chuck their clothes, jump in the water and splash.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Around, aren't they aren't they also like teenagers?
- 2:54Speaker 1: Yeah, that's it, that's true. That's they are teenagers. So
- 2:57Speaker 1: I was like, you know what, I out for a
- 3:00Speaker 1: second there, I almost forgot they were teenagers because like
- 3:03Speaker 1: they both of them, like, yeah, you can tell they're young,
- 3:05Speaker 1: but like at the same time, they're more mature, so
- 3:07Speaker 1: you're not really like it was easy to forget that
- 3:10Speaker 1: they were teenagers. And then I was like, oh, wait,
- 3:12Speaker 1: they are teenagers. All right, never mind continue, Okay, all right,
- 3:16Speaker 1: I don't need another dumb teen love romance like Twilight.
- 3:20Speaker 1: My Twilight days are over.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Mine or never over. I will always watch the movies.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I think I could probably push another book forward on
- 3:33Speaker 1: my reading list because I just started reading Project Hill
- 3:35Speaker 1: Mary finally just started reading it after all that was
- 3:39Speaker 1: left in the world, and I think I'll just after
- 3:43Speaker 1: Hail Mary, I'll just go ahead and jump up to
- 3:46Speaker 1: board Gay.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Werewolf, Board Gaate Werewolf.
- 3:50Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure this is smutty, because this is gonna
- 3:52Speaker 1: be smutty because the theme of it seems pretty mature
- 3:56Speaker 1: as far as I can sell for you. Oh my god.
- 4:02Speaker 1: The author also wrote another book called Shy trans Banshee.
- 4:09Speaker 2: I never want to hear anything about the books I choose.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Those titles are something is something I would.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Read at this. Let me tell you something. My boyfriend
- 4:23Speaker 1: did me dirty with this book because we were we
- 4:26Speaker 1: read Barnes and Noble. He saw it, pulled it off
- 4:28Speaker 1: the shelf and handed to me and he's like, might
- 4:30Speaker 1: as well? And I looked at it and I was like, oh,
- 4:34Speaker 1: dare you? I just like tucked out of my arm?
- 4:38Speaker 1: How dare you all right? Read me to Phil in
- 4:42Speaker 1: the middle of a Barnes and Noble of all places?
- 4:46Speaker 1: All right, like just broadcasting to the whole world. What
- 4:50Speaker 1: kind of a freak I am?
- 4:51Speaker 3: All right?
- 4:52Speaker 1: Yeah, he wants to check it out.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Like you'll never you'll never did not, You'll never get
- 4:59Speaker 2: away those were wolfs, allegations, loving.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Allegations, never escaping them. Yes, I'll take this. And can
- 5:06Speaker 1: I get one of those free bookmarks with it? Can
- 5:10Speaker 1: I get one of those bookmarks too?
- 5:12Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 5:13Speaker 1: Like damn, I was gonna order all of Amazon like
- 5:15Speaker 1: a decent person, Like.
- 5:18Speaker 2: No, you gott support the bookstores commercial or otherwise, babes,
- 5:21Speaker 2: you gotta support the bookstores.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Yeah, it's true. Okay, it's true.
- 5:27Speaker 2: So we got Project Nemesis recorded, Got Islands seven thirty
- 5:33Speaker 2: one recorded, were today, We're gonna record future Project My
- 5:41Speaker 2: Go and then of course the Ring novel. So I'm like,
- 5:45Speaker 2: I don't think I've ever done that. I'm gonna go
- 5:46Speaker 2: ahead and do it. I think I know I've talked.
- 5:48Speaker 2: I think I talked about some of the plot or
- 5:50Speaker 2: good chunk of the plot. I don't think i've actually
- 5:52Speaker 2: like sat down and talked about it, because I'm pretty
- 5:56Speaker 2: sure I mentioned it now. Of course I mentioned the
- 5:58Speaker 2: story I lost my fucking and elbow to it.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Oh, definitely, we've definitely talked about that. Uh huh, Well.
- 6:13Speaker 2: I mean the rate I'm going. If I'm lucky they
- 6:16Speaker 2: ever have a draft, that elbow might save me.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Hmm. Maybe if there is a draft, I may narrowly
- 6:24Speaker 1: avoid the draft, mainly because I have a college degree.
- 6:27Speaker 2: But I don't want you the most.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Probably well, if they want me, then they better take
- 6:34Speaker 1: me on as an officer, because I'm not about to
- 6:36Speaker 1: be on the front lines. The fuck. Don't you want
- 6:40Speaker 1: to talk to your country?
- 6:41Speaker 4: Hell no, okay, something like let me let me tell
- 6:49Speaker 4: you something, especially and for you people who are not
- 6:52Speaker 4: in the US.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Let me let me tell you this is not going
- 6:54Speaker 1: to be Let me tell you something. I am Mexican American, Okay,
- 7:00Speaker 1: I am. I'm already a minority. Okay. I may be
- 7:03Speaker 1: part white, but still like still, it's easy for some
- 7:07Speaker 1: people to ignore the for a lot of people actually
- 7:10Speaker 1: to ignore the white part of my of my heritage
- 7:12Speaker 1: and just look at the at the beaner part and
- 7:16Speaker 1: immediately want to hate it, just hate me just because
- 7:19Speaker 1: and just because I have that up. Like, first of all,
- 7:23Speaker 1: I'm not even an immigrant, Okay. I was born here
- 7:26Speaker 1: in America, all right. Like I'm like fifth generation, like
- 7:29Speaker 1: fourth or fifth generation Mexican American. All right, So at
- 7:34Speaker 1: this point, I'm so far removed from the Mexican part
- 7:37Speaker 1: that you can't reasonably you can't reasonably use that as
- 7:41Speaker 1: a reason like, oh, well, like your your family came
- 7:43Speaker 1: from Mexico. Yeah, your family came over on the Manyflower.
- 7:47Speaker 1: What's the difference, all right? And then also I am
- 7:52Speaker 1: of the the elgibity. I am of the alphabet mafia.
- 7:57Speaker 1: I am the gay okay, I and I am of
- 8:01Speaker 1: the gay that I'm not. I'm not one of those,
- 8:03Speaker 1: like said I wasn't one of those sad gays that
- 8:05Speaker 1: like dated women for the longest time and like, you know,
- 8:09Speaker 1: just to see if like, oh am I actually gay.
- 8:12Speaker 1: I I still like sleeping with women. No, I've never
- 8:15Speaker 1: I have ever been with a woman. And like any way,
- 8:20Speaker 1: like I was so gay that the thought of being
- 8:22Speaker 1: with a woman actually made me nauseous, like in a
- 8:25Speaker 1: sex in a sexual way, like like I like what
- 8:28Speaker 1: I'm not like the thought of like you know, going
- 8:30Speaker 1: out hanging out with women, that part like doesn't bother me,
- 8:32Speaker 1: but the part of being like like physically intimate with
- 8:35Speaker 1: one made me like nauseous. Okay, like it was it's
- 8:40Speaker 1: not it's not happening, Like my body was like, no, honey,
- 8:44Speaker 1: it's not happening.
- 8:45Speaker 2: It's not lady that it's not not compatible.
- 8:52Speaker 1: And I'm also like, okay, I am like I've been
- 8:56Speaker 1: with men. Okay, I'm dating a man. I'm about to
- 8:59Speaker 1: move in to I'm about to move in with a man,
- 9:03Speaker 1: and like, y'ah, they don't like me. American milits, the
- 9:09Speaker 1: American military won't like me. They they claim to be
- 9:13Speaker 1: all like more progressive now because they don't discriminate against sexuality,
- 9:18Speaker 1: but no, that's a lie.
- 9:20Speaker 2: That's a lie. They secretly do.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Come on, now, they still do.
- 9:23Speaker 2: They still do, they still do even now. A bunch
- 9:26Speaker 2: of those straight men fuck each other in the barracks
- 9:28Speaker 2: half the time. Anyways, some of.
- 9:30Speaker 1: The ship that those men get up to in the barracks, like,
- 9:33Speaker 1: you know who you are, you know what we're talking about,
- 9:36Speaker 1: all right, So no, they're not gonna do me any favors,
- 9:40Speaker 1: especially when they find out that I am the gay.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I'm not a gay. I'm the gay.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Okay, you're the gay lower lower case G. I'm the
- 9:50Speaker 2: gay capital ge I thought you were by. I am
- 9:55Speaker 2: by capital B gay gay's umbrella termed days.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Mm hmm. Yeah, well, let's be real.
- 10:07Speaker 2: I'm never gonna be with that. I'm not gonna live
- 10:09Speaker 2: my life with a woman. Let's be real. Let's let's
- 10:12Speaker 2: be real. I may be bisexual, I may find a
- 10:14Speaker 2: woman very attractive. Some can step on me, but like,
- 10:17Speaker 2: I'm never gonna I'm not gonna. I'm sorry, ladies, I'm
- 10:20Speaker 2: not gonna marry a Woman's my life for the woman.
- 10:24Speaker 2: I am so sorry.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Those lady demotrests allegations are not going away.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Girl, have you not looked to her though, My god,
- 10:32Speaker 2: that woman. I mean, step on.
- 10:34Speaker 1: That's a woman, all right, that's a woman.
- 10:37Speaker 2: That's a woman. That's a woman.
- 10:40Speaker 1: You know. It's funny. We got like we have our
- 10:42Speaker 1: own song, like guys have our own song where it's
- 10:44Speaker 1: just like, what a man?
- 10:45Speaker 2: What a man?
- 10:45Speaker 1: What a man? What a man? Where's the one where
- 10:48Speaker 1: it's like what a woman? Woman? Like, that's a woman,
- 10:51Speaker 1: right that there is a woman. I'm pretty sure there
- 10:54Speaker 1: is a song that I just don't know it.
- 10:56Speaker 2: You're too gay, Yeah, too gay, too gay, tocker gay,
- 11:01Speaker 2: too gay to function. We have the two types of
- 11:04Speaker 2: gays in this in this in this chat, we have
- 11:06Speaker 2: a rock or metal gay, and we have a pop
- 11:09Speaker 2: gay mm hmm to.
- 11:13Speaker 1: A hard rock troll.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Yeah music, rock music so straight. Yeah.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Rock music is like dads. That speaks to me. It
- 11:29Speaker 1: speaks to me.
- 11:30Speaker 2: You have music tastes of a dad, of a white
- 11:33Speaker 2: of a white father in his mid fifties.
- 11:41Speaker 1: You have the music tastes of late Nathan Lane and
- 11:43Speaker 1: bird Cage.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Actually that's a compliment. I'll take it. I'll take it.
- 11:48Speaker 2: I think it because I would. I would.
- 11:52Speaker 1: My best friend and my boyfriend are literally the Nathan
- 11:55Speaker 1: lanes of my life.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Yes, yes we are, because you no.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Like you act like Nathan Lane, and so does Alex
- 12:01Speaker 1: sometimes like Alex for the most part doesn't really like
- 12:03Speaker 1: give off Nathan Lane energy. But when he's playing Valorie
- 12:06Speaker 1: or like when he's playing games, and sometimes he gets
- 12:08Speaker 1: a little excited, like he's straight up when.
- 12:14Speaker 2: That man's gay, that man's gay. That man, that man,
- 12:18Speaker 2: that man is gay and he's been with women and
- 12:21Speaker 2: that's a gay man. That's a gay man.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Yes, my boyfriend's on sexual and yes he's been with
- 12:29Speaker 1: women before.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Me and he's gay. And he's.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Like, I'm over here, just like, babe, what's going on?
- 12:38Speaker 1: You know? Honestly, like you know, like I may act
- 12:41Speaker 1: more straight than you, but yet you are probably the
- 12:44Speaker 1: straighter of the two of us, because you know how
- 12:46Speaker 1: to work on cars. You're you're handy, you know how
- 12:49Speaker 1: you know, like so you know how to like well,
- 12:51Speaker 1: not that way, get get out of the gutter. Get
- 12:55Speaker 1: your mind out of that gutter. Okay, he knows he
- 12:58Speaker 1: knows how to build ship. Okay. When I bought these
- 13:01Speaker 1: shelves here and this chair, I was gonna put it
- 13:03Speaker 1: together because I don't know I got this out.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Streets gaze you. He does, damn, and you're just the.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Princess the street bar. I don't care, Like I don't
- 13:13Speaker 1: really care.
- 13:14Speaker 2: It's like I know, but the fact that he outstraights
- 13:17Speaker 2: you and out gaze you, but not just one of them,
- 13:22Speaker 2: both of them at the same time.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Yeah, Like, I don't know. I definitely outgate him because
- 13:30Speaker 1: I don't know what the fuck I'm doing. When it
- 13:31Speaker 1: comes to like cars and like putting shit together. I
- 13:33Speaker 1: mean I could put a shelf together. I know how
- 13:35Speaker 1: to read instructions, I can't put together. But like when
- 13:39Speaker 1: it comes to like car maintenance, I have no fucking
- 13:43Speaker 1: idea what I'm doing.
- 13:45Speaker 2: And chows all right, and chows it does.
- 13:50Speaker 1: I'm not ashamed of it because I think a fuck.
- 13:52Speaker 1: I'm not a car guy.
- 13:53Speaker 2: No, I don't have time. I don't know. There's a lot.
- 13:56Speaker 2: There's a lot in this nog and and that is
- 13:58Speaker 2: not one of them. That's not one things in this
- 14:00Speaker 2: brain thistle.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Like don't give a fuck, give a fuck?
- 14:11Speaker 2: Do you ever show up me? I have your dog,
- 14:14Speaker 2: meet the cats.
- 14:16Speaker 1: We were gonna do it yesterday, but I told him, like, hey,
- 14:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna be honest. I am not feeling it today,
- 14:21Speaker 1: so we're gonna try to do it sometime this week.
- 14:27Speaker 1: So when you're moving, I'm gonna start moving things over
- 14:33Speaker 1: in June because I told I was told that I
- 14:36Speaker 1: need to be out by the end of July, but
- 14:40Speaker 1: I was like, all right, well I want to be
- 14:42Speaker 1: out here by jan Yeah, because like at that point,
- 14:47Speaker 1: like okay, well might as well get everything, like start
- 14:51Speaker 1: moving everything over. I gotta look through some stuff to
- 14:55Speaker 1: get rid of. I don't know what I'm gonna do
- 14:58Speaker 1: with this mattress. Like it's funny. I just got this
- 15:00Speaker 1: queen mattress right from Alex, and I'm probably gonna have
- 15:03Speaker 1: to get rid of it like that or just put
- 15:06Speaker 1: in storage. Yeah, And there's part of me that like, Okay,
- 15:10Speaker 1: when I'm moving with Alex, we're gonna be splitting. We're
- 15:13Speaker 1: gonna be splitting the bills, right, And the thing is
- 15:15Speaker 1: his apartment is a lot cheaper, Like he spends almost
- 15:18Speaker 1: as much for his apartment as I do for my
- 15:22Speaker 1: like for my bed from my bedroom, So the split
- 15:25Speaker 1: will be like really good and I'll and I'll be
- 15:27Speaker 1: spending a lot less in terms of rent and utilities.
- 15:31Speaker 1: But gotta figure out like what like, what stuff is
- 15:35Speaker 1: going to storage? What stuff am I getting rid of?
- 15:38Speaker 1: Because I think I might get rid of the TV,
- 15:40Speaker 1: this stand over here that I have, and might get
- 15:43Speaker 1: rid of this one of these shelves over here that
- 15:46Speaker 1: or just leave it in storage because honestly, I think
- 15:48Speaker 1: I was I'm gonna get rid of it because I
- 15:49Speaker 1: don't really want to keep these anymore. And I'm keeping
- 15:55Speaker 1: the headboard for my bed because I was gonna use
- 15:59Speaker 1: that as like a shelf, like an extra shelf. But
- 16:05Speaker 1: I gotta figure this stuff out.
- 16:10Speaker 5: Yeah, you get to live with a man, m hm,
- 16:15Speaker 5: says the man living with a man. Yeah, two man
- 16:18Speaker 5: in fact, Yeah, yeah.
- 16:22Speaker 1: M.
- 16:27Speaker 2: His best friend, yeah m hm m hm. Oh my god.
- 16:37Speaker 2: That on the where Alex lives and on where you live,
- 16:40Speaker 2: and that can threaten you both. Oh God, I swear
- 16:44Speaker 2: to God, if y'all live right near right near where
- 16:46Speaker 2: I grew up, I'd be like, al Ca, need to stop,
- 16:50Speaker 2: you need to stop, because why are you He now.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Lives like right across the street from USA.
- 16:54Speaker 2: I know he lives on Cinnamon Creek where that's where
- 16:57Speaker 2: I grew up. That's where I lived for the first
- 16:59Speaker 2: couple years of my life. Here, So I'm like, I
- 17:02Speaker 2: swear to God, if you live, if you lived it
- 17:03Speaker 2: near those apartment complexes, because I think I know where
- 17:06Speaker 2: he lives in those little townhouses. I think I know
- 17:10Speaker 2: where he lives. I swear to God, you need to
- 17:13Speaker 2: stop copying me.
- 17:20Speaker 1: I don't know how like he's copying you.
- 17:23Speaker 2: His life is intersecting with mine a little too much,
- 17:27Speaker 2: to the point where it's starting to get scurry.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Starting to get scurried.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Or born in the same city. Our fathers are in
- 17:36Speaker 2: the military, in the Navy. No less when we're both dyslexic,
- 17:48Speaker 2: we're both too we're a little too much alike a
- 17:54Speaker 2: little bit. You don't see that as concerning.
- 18:00Speaker 1: No, the only part that I find concerning is that
- 18:04Speaker 1: you are like so hung up on it.
- 18:06Speaker 2: I just find it weird that the universe gave you
- 18:08Speaker 2: somebody that is very similar to your best friend. Not completely,
- 18:12Speaker 2: because there are some differences. Obviously, I don't know Jack
- 18:14Speaker 2: Shad about cars, but there's certain things that but with
- 18:19Speaker 2: me and your boyfriend are very similar birth personality, where
- 18:25Speaker 2: he where he ends up. Where I was like, my god,
- 18:29Speaker 2: can you stop? Can you stop? Because you're starting to
- 18:31Speaker 2: freak me out? You're starting to freak me out a
- 18:35Speaker 2: little bit, not him, the universe. Can the universe stop?
- 18:41Speaker 1: Oh my god, when universe keep freaking Devin oldm.
- 18:48Speaker 2: I'm gonna go text I'm gonna text Alex later and
- 18:50Speaker 2: call him the faggot just because.
- 18:55Speaker 1: That's gonna go over where well, because he's already having
- 18:57Speaker 1: a bit of a stressful day, gets the faggot, a
- 19:00Speaker 1: faggot text.
- 19:01Speaker 2: From drive by Faggot. Oh, he's gonna be oh, oh
- 19:07Speaker 2: you want Okay he does that, He's like, oh, okay, Like,
- 19:14Speaker 2: oh you want play white Chicks on my ass?
- 19:20Speaker 1: Mm hmm. You want to talk about our mother? Your
- 19:29Speaker 1: mama so your mama so stupid? She wants to doctor
- 19:31Speaker 1: Dre for a PAP smear.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Damn damn. All generation Z don't know about don't know
- 19:41Speaker 2: about doctor Dre. He certified doctor pH d.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Is it really? No? No, the f I don't I
- 19:55Speaker 1: don't know this. I don't follow doctor Dre. I don't
- 19:58Speaker 1: know ship about that dude. Don't even listen to fucking music. Okay.
- 20:01Speaker 1: The only thing about doctor Dre that like, I actually
- 20:06Speaker 1: like use is the beats, like the beats products like
- 20:10Speaker 1: is I once had a Beats Phil, the Little Speaker
- 20:13Speaker 1: Beats by Doctor Dre And then now I have like
- 20:16Speaker 1: their headphones, and I'm planning I'm buying another set of headphones.
- 20:20Speaker 1: But these ones are like the Overear ones. But like
- 20:23Speaker 1: that's not gonna be until later. I save up.
- 20:31Speaker 2: I love my skull Candy too much.
- 20:35Speaker 1: I used to like skull Candy with wired headphones, but
- 20:39Speaker 1: I don't feel like they're they're bluetooth headphones.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Hold up, I mean, these are fine, These are fine.
- 20:48Speaker 2: The reason I had hooked up is because my PC
- 20:50Speaker 2: doesn't have it's not bluetooth capability, so I have to
- 20:54Speaker 2: have a chord, which is yeah, I want freaking mm hmm.
- 21:01Speaker 2: What's those really good ones, those real good noise canceling ones.
- 21:07Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know, like mm hmm.
- 21:10Speaker 2: It starts with the company starts with to Be Beats.
- 21:14Speaker 2: No like b Oh but not Bosley awesome. They're expensive
- 21:27Speaker 2: as fuck. Uh m hmm, bos bos I want. I
- 21:39Speaker 2: want Bo's headphones, That's what I want.
- 21:44Speaker 1: I mean, if I can find some other form like
- 21:46Speaker 1: other like type of headphones that are not Apple or Beats,
- 21:49Speaker 1: and they're really good and reliable, then I'll go. I'll
- 21:52Speaker 1: go for them, and they're like and if they're cheap too,
- 21:54Speaker 1: then I'll definitely go for them. Yeah, but right now,
- 21:57Speaker 1: like I like the beats like Eats brand headphones and speakers,
- 22:02Speaker 1: like I was, I wanted to get another like speaker,
- 22:06Speaker 1: like a beat speaker. Kind of hate that I really
- 22:08Speaker 1: hate that I got rid of the one that I
- 22:10Speaker 1: had because the one I had was pretty good, but
- 22:14Speaker 1: like I got rid of it, and I got rid
- 22:16Speaker 1: of it because I needed money for my move to Orlando,
- 22:21Speaker 1: but also I got rid of it out of spite
- 22:24Speaker 1: because my step mom was the one who bought it
- 22:25Speaker 1: for me and fucked that. Hope hear me, all right? Actually,
- 22:34Speaker 1: my last therapy session was literally just the whole session, Yeah,
- 22:39Speaker 1: the whole forty five minute session. Like okay, my first
- 22:42Speaker 1: session with Melissa, my my therapist, I told her like
- 22:45Speaker 1: a lot about like the trauma I dealt with as
- 22:47Speaker 1: a kid, and then like we were, I mentioned my
- 22:49Speaker 1: stepmom and I told Melissa straight up like, okay, the
- 22:53Speaker 1: thing with my step mom that is a whole other
- 22:55Speaker 1: conversation entirely, like we will not have time during this
- 22:58Speaker 1: session to talk about her and Melissa's like okay, noted
- 23:02Speaker 1: next session it is. The next session comes and I'm like,
- 23:06Speaker 1: all right, you ready because we're about to talk about
- 23:08Speaker 1: my stepmom, and I just unloaded, like this is my
- 23:12Speaker 1: step mom, this is when I first met her, this
- 23:14Speaker 1: is why I moved in with her hunt and then
- 23:20Speaker 1: like from like the time I moved in with her
- 23:23Speaker 1: with my dad and my stepmom to the time I left,
- 23:27Speaker 1: you know, like I will, like I unloaded on on
- 23:31Speaker 1: all like unloaded, and she was like like Melissa's like, wow,
- 23:37Speaker 1: she's got a lot like damn. I mean I wasn't
- 23:42Speaker 1: like that. It was more like I'm sorry, like you
- 23:44Speaker 1: went through that, and like she helped me like like
- 23:47Speaker 1: dive deeper into it, and I mentioned like you know
- 23:49Speaker 1: they're for the longest they're like to this day, I
- 23:52Speaker 1: like like I don't like her. She's like my least
- 23:57Speaker 1: favorite person in the world. And she's like and she
- 23:59Speaker 1: read it like you let that like affect your life
- 24:02Speaker 1: like consume you or anything like that. I'm like, oh,
- 24:04Speaker 1: I know, like to this day she's really nothing. I
- 24:06Speaker 1: don't really feel that same kind of hatred for her
- 24:09Speaker 1: that I did when I was like one like after
- 24:12Speaker 1: our falling out, because for like a solid two years. Uh,
- 24:17Speaker 1: anything that reminded me of Angie was super triggering, like
- 24:21Speaker 1: to the point where I was having full on meltdowns
- 24:24Speaker 1: like crying, I was angry. I was like yelling, scrat
- 24:28Speaker 1: like shouting, screaming, like you know, like fuck that bitch
- 24:30Speaker 1: and everything. Now I'm just like she's made like she
- 24:36Speaker 1: you know, Melissa, like definitely like mentioned like has there
- 24:38Speaker 1: been like have you ever tried like to like talk
- 24:40Speaker 1: to her, like if there been any efforts like to
- 24:43Speaker 1: reconcile and I saw her, well, my dad tried to
- 24:45Speaker 1: push the two of us to like spend more time together.
- 24:48Speaker 1: But the thing is is that I have no interest
- 24:51Speaker 1: in spending time with her whatsoever. Okay, because the thing
- 24:55Speaker 1: is is that after like about two years after our
- 24:58Speaker 1: falling out, I did see her and we did spend
- 25:00Speaker 1: a few days together because we all went to Miami,
- 25:03Speaker 1: and I had to like I had to like really
- 25:05Speaker 1: like control my attitude and not be like super like
- 25:12Speaker 1: you know, open, like super open with her. I had
- 25:15Speaker 1: to like like if any everything like we talked about
- 25:19Speaker 1: was superficial. I didn't tell her anything about my life.
- 25:22Speaker 1: I didn't give her like any kind of like foothold
- 25:24Speaker 1: to like use or like talk about and I avoided
- 25:28Speaker 1: the subject of like our falling out entirely. But you
- 25:32Speaker 1: know the thing is that it was very obvious that
- 25:35Speaker 1: she was just gonna try to ignore that that whole
- 25:38Speaker 1: thing between that whole thing that happened and not actually
- 25:42Speaker 1: like go like, you know, talk about it and apologize
- 25:45Speaker 1: for it. It's been thirteen years, never once that she
- 25:47Speaker 1: acknowledged what happens or like apologize for her part in it,
- 25:53Speaker 1: or like made any efforts to like to reconcile over it.
- 25:57Speaker 1: And that just tells me she's not that she That
- 26:00Speaker 1: tells me she doesn't think she did anything wrong even
- 26:02Speaker 1: though she did, because like it was all on her.
- 26:05Speaker 1: It wasn't me, Okay, I know, I know for a
- 26:08Speaker 1: fact I didn't do anything wrong. She was the one
- 26:10Speaker 1: who wanted to cause problem for every little fucking thing
- 26:13Speaker 1: that we that that I did, Okay, and it was
- 26:18Speaker 1: for any reason. So I know for facts, I'm not
- 26:22Speaker 1: the one at fault here. She is. She's the one
- 26:25Speaker 1: that needs to own up to this ship. She's the
- 26:28Speaker 1: one that needs to clean up her act, not me,
- 26:31Speaker 1: because I spent years thinking that like it's all my fault.
- 26:35Speaker 1: I spent years thinking this was this was me, I'm
- 26:37Speaker 1: the problem, right Yeah?
- 26:40Speaker 2: And I was.
- 26:40Speaker 1: No, Actually it wasn't my problem. It wasn't me. Okay.
- 26:45Speaker 1: I wasn't the one who will lose my shit over
- 26:48Speaker 1: every little fucking thing. Okay. I wasn't the one who
- 26:51Speaker 1: who was deliberately harassing me. I wasn't the one harassing
- 26:56Speaker 1: her about her about her her posts on Facebook, right.
- 27:00Speaker 1: I wasn't the one who would wait for every moment
- 27:02Speaker 1: that my dad wasn't around to start her to start shit.
- 27:06Speaker 1: And I also wasn't the one who started a fucking
- 27:08Speaker 1: argument over the color of my dad's eye To this day, Like,
- 27:12Speaker 1: I know, like they're technically hazel, but I still I
- 27:14Speaker 1: still think of and refer to them as green because
- 27:18Speaker 1: they are. Okay, they are fucking green, all right. Just
- 27:22Speaker 1: because they have a little little shit stained, little ring
- 27:25Speaker 1: of shit around the pupil doesn't doesn't it gate the
- 27:29Speaker 1: fact that his overall eye color is green? Okay, green hazel,
- 27:34Speaker 1: if you want to, if like, as far the most
- 27:36Speaker 1: all acknowledged out of that is green hazel, because it's
- 27:41Speaker 1: green with the little ring of brown around it around
- 27:43Speaker 1: the pupil. That's as far as I'll acknowledge it because
- 27:47Speaker 1: fuck you, Angie, But I yeah, I told her. I
- 27:50Speaker 1: told her, like at this point, I don't care about her,
- 27:52Speaker 1: you know. I told her. I told him this little
- 27:54Speaker 1: about like how Angie is uh currently has like her
- 27:59Speaker 1: health is to climbing and she's had like about five
- 28:02Speaker 1: strokes in the last two years. And I was like, yeah,
- 28:07Speaker 1: I mean I don't. I don't really hate her, you know,
- 28:10Speaker 1: and like, are you is it upsetting that do you
- 28:12Speaker 1: feel like how what do you feel like upset that
- 28:15Speaker 1: she's gonna die, that she's probably going to pass away,
- 28:18Speaker 1: And I'm like, no, I'm not really bothered by it,
- 28:21Speaker 1: although you know, I mean my mom always said that
- 28:24Speaker 1: when it's our time to go, it's our time to go.
- 28:26Speaker 1: And it looks like Angie's going into overtime, so I
- 28:29Speaker 1: guess it's time. Maybe we should go, uh push her
- 28:32Speaker 1: into clocking out early.
- 28:39Speaker 2: I don't see your counselor now your therapist, but.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Let's have thought that was funny.
- 28:46Speaker 2: She's like Jacob, No, like, no, it's not how you
- 28:50Speaker 2: handle it, how you process it.
- 28:52Speaker 1: No, Like, well, you know, my mom always said, when
- 28:56Speaker 1: it's our time to go, it's our time to go
- 28:57Speaker 1: but I feel but you know, I think Angie's going
- 28:59Speaker 1: in a bit of overtime. But it's going into overtime,
- 29:04Speaker 1: so we could just wrap this.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Just wrap this up.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Oh, come on, you have to I think you have to.
- 29:13Speaker 1: You have to like give your you have to give
- 29:15Speaker 1: your therapist something will work with Gotta thrown for a
- 29:19Speaker 1: loop here and there.
- 29:21Speaker 2: She reads down.
- 29:22Speaker 1: He there's a lot of tua, lots of lots of trauma.
- 29:29Speaker 1: She walks out of that, she walks out of her
- 29:31Speaker 1: of our session, and like, uh like Janetta Janetta or
- 29:34Speaker 1: Tuga Supria Carpenters. She's like lots of trauma, lots of trauma,
- 29:39Speaker 1: lots of trauma.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Girl. That movie The Mummy Trauma, Oh was it good.
- 29:48Speaker 2: It was good. Two hours and fourteen minutes. It was
- 29:52Speaker 2: fucking good. But it was basically a Evil Dead movie.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Like it really like that Mummy is a dead. I
- 30:00Speaker 2: at the Dead the Dead. I like it has to
- 30:05Speaker 2: be like this is the guy who did Evil Dead Rise. Oh,
- 30:10Speaker 2: it is literally shot like an Evil Dead movie, the
- 30:13Speaker 2: weird close ups, the distinct angles. It's like Evil Dead
- 30:18Speaker 2: had a fucked up baby with autopsy of Jane Doe.
- 30:23Speaker 2: It's it's good, it's good, but it's so wrong, it's
- 30:27Speaker 2: so gross. Like there's one part where there's a grandmother
- 30:31Speaker 2: that die, a Mexican grandmother. She dies and then her
- 30:34Speaker 2: body comes back to life and she's on a table
- 30:36Speaker 2: eating rotten food with her teeth missing, and she lives
- 30:40Speaker 2: up her leg and she looks at one of the
- 30:41Speaker 2: main characters like you want some you want to eat
- 30:43Speaker 2: something me out and I'm like, no, it's it's.
- 30:54Speaker 1: I'd be running like.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Like bitch died, like she fell out. She was push
- 31:00Speaker 2: out the window and coyotes ate her alive and then
- 31:03Speaker 2: they embalmbed her and had oh She's like, yeah, yeah,
- 31:12Speaker 2: she was at a funeral, at their funeral, because if
- 31:14Speaker 2: you had the funeral at the house, her body was
- 31:16Speaker 2: in wake. And then the mummy possessed daughter granddaughter went
- 31:20Speaker 2: into the coffin brought her back to life. And you're
- 31:22Speaker 2: just like, oh my god, Oh my god. But brother, yeah,
- 31:30Speaker 2: that was a dead you can't tell me otherwise that's
- 31:33Speaker 2: a dead eye. Apparently it takes place in the same
- 31:35Speaker 2: universe as the Evil Dead franchise, so I'm like, that
- 31:39Speaker 2: was literally an Egyptian what that's like a dead eye
- 31:42Speaker 2: that the Egyptians thought was a demon.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 31:46Speaker 2: But oh give me one second. I need to get
- 31:49Speaker 2: my baby girl onto her little her little stand. But yeah,
- 31:58Speaker 2: the movie was good. Yeah, kis kids pulling out their teeth.
- 32:10Speaker 1: And just.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Vomit everywhere. Just there's one scene with a toenail they try, Yeah,
- 32:22Speaker 2: where they try to clip a toenail and the and
- 32:24Speaker 2: the skin from the toenail up the leg rips. It's
- 32:28Speaker 2: so gross.
- 32:29Speaker 1: That plays into like everyone's fear when it comes to
- 32:32Speaker 1: like when you peel your own nails and you like
- 32:36Speaker 1: you peel it from.
- 32:37Speaker 2: The root and like, yeah, we were in a pack theater,
- 32:44Speaker 2: but this place was packed, and I made some I
- 32:47Speaker 2: made some jokes. The couple was fighting and Johnny's like,
- 32:52Speaker 2: they said, she said you have no nipples, and I
- 32:54Speaker 2: said it louder and I'm like, she said you have
- 32:56Speaker 2: no nipples? And because a couple fighting, and everyone's like,
- 33:01Speaker 2: what the fuck?
- 33:03Speaker 1: Wait, like an actual like on in the in the movie,
- 33:06Speaker 1: a couple was fighting and what.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Like, no, I no, there was a couples fighting, and
- 33:11Speaker 2: I was doing commentary. I dug Johnny's joke and I'm like,
- 33:16Speaker 2: he still do have no nipples and people are cracking
- 33:20Speaker 2: up and ship and it's just like, girl, it's the
- 33:23Speaker 2: movie was good, don't get me wrong, five out of five.
- 33:27Speaker 1: What you just remember today is James's birthday?
- 33:32Speaker 2: Oh my god? Where he at in New York?
- 33:35Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 33:35Speaker 2: He's in New York, Dakota. Huh is it with Thedakoda?
- 33:43Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 33:44Speaker 2: You should be fucky, fucking bitch. God, I want to
- 33:47Speaker 2: meet the Coda.
- 33:50Speaker 1: You know, I'd be honest, like I should have. I
- 33:52Speaker 1: think I should have taken up Cody's offer to like
- 33:54Speaker 1: meet up with him last year. But last year, like
- 33:56Speaker 1: I was still like not really familiar with him and
- 33:59Speaker 1: like didn't really interact with them outside of the pod. Yeah,
- 34:02Speaker 1: and now like I played I Play Hell Divers with him,
- 34:05Speaker 1: and now I'm just like, man, I should have I
- 34:06Speaker 1: should have taken him up on his offer. Because the
- 34:09Speaker 1: thing is, though, like last year, I didn't really have
- 34:10Speaker 1: a lot of time because we were all like like
- 34:13Speaker 1: we were only gonna be there for like five days max.
- 34:17Speaker 1: But like the first and fifth day we're just like
- 34:19Speaker 1: the travel days, so we actually didn't have the time
- 34:25Speaker 1: to do that, like to actually go see him.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Yeah. No, I love I love Cody Yeah. If I
- 34:34Speaker 2: ever do D and D games, I have to have
- 34:36Speaker 2: Cody there.
- 34:36Speaker 1: I have to.
- 34:37Speaker 2: He's he's the He's he brings it, brings joy to
- 34:40Speaker 2: my games. Love Cody, love him, Lexiborough watch out, take
- 34:51Speaker 2: her man, I'll take her ma in. No, you probably
- 34:53Speaker 2: kill me. It's fine. No, I love Cody. Lucky bad Yeah, bastard,
- 35:00Speaker 2: James lucky bastard. God damn it, son of a bitch.
- 35:08Speaker 2: Oh shit, it is for twenty I forgot that is
- 35:11Speaker 2: James's birthday. Yeah, you're right, or twenty plays it? Ye,
- 35:22Speaker 2: all right, welcome the bug watchers. Where my freaking out anymore? Yay, positives?
- 35:32Speaker 1: Wait what I said?
- 35:33Speaker 2: My skin is not freaking out anymore. It's slowly going
- 35:36Speaker 2: back to normal.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Oh my god, Oh I said, we are we are
- 35:40Speaker 1: hell a gay?
- 35:41Speaker 2: Yeah that too, that too. If you get some if
- 35:45Speaker 2: you get skinnrash, y'all go to a doctor. They'll give
- 35:48Speaker 2: you some meds and some creams, ointments and you'll be Oh. Oh,
- 35:54Speaker 2: I don't look like I have black eye anymore. I
- 35:56Speaker 2: don't look like I got punched in the face.
- 36:01Speaker 1: I don't have to I don't have to pull up
- 36:02Speaker 1: and beat the shit out of his boyfriend.
- 36:05Speaker 2: I was telling john about that joking and he started laughing.
- 36:08Speaker 2: He's like, he thinks he can kick my ass, and
- 36:13Speaker 2: I'm like Johnny, He's like, I'm like, Johnny, love my life.
- 36:23Speaker 2: You scare me sometimes.
- 36:28Speaker 1: You know, honestly, if your partner doesn't scare you just
- 36:30Speaker 1: a little bit, like.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Yeah, are you really in love with them, they don't
- 36:34Speaker 2: scare you just a little bit.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Because there have been a couple of times where Alex
- 36:37Speaker 1: has already scared me a bit, not like because he
- 36:39Speaker 1: got onto me or anything, but because like when he
- 36:41Speaker 1: drives sometimes his road rage is like like I thought
- 36:45Speaker 1: I had roadrage, but he'll straight up pull up next
- 36:47Speaker 1: to a person who like cut him off and will
- 36:49Speaker 1: just like stare him down like.
- 36:54Speaker 2: That's psycho.
- 36:56Speaker 1: No, yeah, like strip psycho. And he did that was
- 36:58Speaker 1: on like Alex babe comment it's not it's worth.
- 37:01Speaker 2: It's not worth it, And I'll just be there like
- 37:04Speaker 2: it's not worth.
- 37:06Speaker 1: Look at me. At most I'll just do a drive
- 37:11Speaker 1: by like middle Finger, Like ifone custs me off and
- 37:14Speaker 1: I drive around them, I'll just give him a drive
- 37:16Speaker 1: by fuck you sign and there you go and just
- 37:18Speaker 1: keep going. All right, But like he'll actually straight up
- 37:21Speaker 1: pull up on these people Jesus, And I'm like, uh, babe, babe,
- 37:29Speaker 1: don't do that. That dude looks like that dude looks
- 37:31Speaker 1: like he's gonna like he's gonna he's about to pop
- 37:34Speaker 1: a cap in our ass. It's like, let's go girl,
- 37:39Speaker 1: just damn. But is my boyfriend a little problematic?
- 37:43Speaker 2: Yeah, if your boyfriend or because there's not a little
- 37:46Speaker 2: psycho are you? Are they the one? Are they not
- 37:49Speaker 2: the one?
- 37:50Speaker 1: Like I mean, you know, it's that kind of psycho
- 37:54Speaker 1: where like, you know, it's like, hmm, this is kind
- 37:56Speaker 1: of a problem, but I'm into it.
- 37:59Speaker 2: Yeah up, yeah, at least I'm like, I know, at
- 38:03Speaker 2: least he has my back.
- 38:05Speaker 1: At least at least he has my back. And you see,
- 38:07Speaker 1: he's still a very safe driver. But it's just like
- 38:09Speaker 1: someone pisses him off on the road, like he's gonna
- 38:11Speaker 1: pull up, pull up, literally yeah literally.
- 38:16Speaker 2: Anyway. Hi, I'm Devin and that's Jacob.
- 38:20Speaker 3: Hello.
- 38:20Speaker 2: You know gays, we hear we reading.
- 38:26Speaker 1: Barely functioning, barely functioning possibly on the spectrum, but.
- 38:33Speaker 2: Some not me, not me? You no you m m
- 38:40Speaker 2: hm mhmm. The tism is real. Chose your Godzilla collection.
- 38:47Speaker 1: You leave my God's will collection out of this.
- 38:49Speaker 2: You show us your God's all out, show us your
- 38:52Speaker 2: your comic collection. We don't gotta get into that. We
- 38:57Speaker 2: don't got to bring her into this.
- 38:59Speaker 1: You don't got to bring You don't have to bring
- 39:01Speaker 1: him into it either. Uh huh.
- 39:04Speaker 2: As I look at my stacked of comic books, I
- 39:06Speaker 2: need our compic box.
- 39:08Speaker 1: As I look at my shelves full of gods, all
- 39:10Speaker 1: of pop figures, gods, a little books, posters, we.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Both have the tism in some way shape or.
- 39:16Speaker 1: And is it really autism if we just enjoy it?
- 39:22Speaker 1: Like can we just enjoy it? Like can we just
- 39:24Speaker 1: enjoy ship without being labeled autistic? Like just some like
- 39:32Speaker 1: a little bit of interest, like a little bit like
- 39:34Speaker 1: like a little bit of interest in like one subject.
- 39:36Speaker 1: Little in particular, that means you're autistic.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Little little it's not a little when you know everything.
- 39:46Speaker 2: We know something backwards and forwards and you get spend
- 39:49Speaker 2: two hours talking about it.
- 39:51Speaker 1: Okay, Oh so I guess that makes like Albert Einstein
- 39:54Speaker 1: and Stephen Hawking autistic.
- 39:56Speaker 2: Well, they're also neurodivergent because one of them is dyslexic,
- 40:00Speaker 2: as hell. Yeah, that's I mean, that's not necessarily autism.
- 40:06Speaker 1: It seems like nowadays it's like if you like show
- 40:09Speaker 1: this like like a little bit of like neurodivergency, it's
- 40:11Speaker 1: like the default diagnosis that every uneducated idiot will go
- 40:16Speaker 1: for is, oh, that means you're autistic, Like shut the
- 40:21Speaker 1: fuck up, No, it doesn't.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Well, it's also not bad.
- 40:25Speaker 1: I like getting to the point where it's like, okay,
- 40:29Speaker 1: like like you guys are worse than web md.
- 40:33Speaker 2: I sautism because there are different flavors ofisms. Dyslexic I
- 40:37Speaker 2: considered atism. It's not really atism, but part of it's
- 40:41Speaker 2: part of theism umbrella. Neuro Divergency is the umbrella the
- 40:46Speaker 2: houses like autism, dyslexia, and a bunch of other ship
- 40:50Speaker 2: so flavor.
- 40:53Speaker 1: I acknowledge that I'm neurodivergent mainly because like part of neurodivergency. Also,
- 40:58Speaker 1: like you can be you're considered neuro divergent if you've
- 41:01Speaker 1: dealt with stuff like trauma and you have like other
- 41:04Speaker 1: like other forms of mental illnesses like depression and anxiety
- 41:07Speaker 1: because your brain don't work, because your brain don't work right.
- 41:11Speaker 1: But I'm just like I don't know, I'm just getting
- 41:13Speaker 1: to a point where I'm getting tired of like like
- 41:15Speaker 1: just like default, like just the default explanation for just
- 41:18Speaker 1: being just slightly different from everyone else is like, oh, well,
- 41:21Speaker 1: just that's a sign of autism, Like yeah, can you
- 41:27Speaker 1: actually like you actually come up with a more educated
- 41:30Speaker 1: answer than like autism, Like well, I mean that you personally,
- 41:35Speaker 1: It's just like like I've heard other people say it,
- 41:37Speaker 1: and it's starting to like grate out my nerves because
- 41:39Speaker 1: like autism is not like the default answer for neurodivergent.
- 41:44Speaker 2: I mean ADHD.
- 41:48Speaker 1: I'm not AHD though, Okay, yeah, Like.
- 41:53Speaker 2: I like I'm like, I'm not ADHD. Yeah, we both
- 41:58Speaker 2: have we're both probably ADHD, I.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Mean if we are. Like, like I'm going off of
- 42:07Speaker 1: what my what my mom told me, because I should
- 42:09Speaker 1: have asked her, was I ever tested for ADHD or
- 42:11Speaker 1: any other form of like uh like like behavioral stuff
- 42:16Speaker 1: like that as a kid, And she said, yeah, you
- 42:19Speaker 1: were fine, Like you didn't have anything at most, like
- 42:22Speaker 1: at the very least that they thought you may have
- 42:24Speaker 1: had a d D, which is a bullshit diagnosis. Now
- 42:27Speaker 1: it's no, there's no such thing as ad D anymore. Yeah,
- 42:33Speaker 1: So it's just like, but yeah, the only the only
- 42:36Speaker 1: one that actually had like the like full on like
- 42:39Speaker 1: ADHD diagnosis was my brother. So sorry, I'm not like,
- 42:46Speaker 1: I'm not getting mad. I'm not. I don't hate autistic people.
- 42:49Speaker 1: It's just like I'm getting annoyed that like that just
- 42:51Speaker 1: seems like that's like like whenever, like any like whenever
- 42:56Speaker 1: you showed just a little bit of neuro like neurodivergency
- 42:59Speaker 1: is just it's just like the automatic response is like, oh,
- 43:01Speaker 1: you're probably autistic, Like, well, I mean, and what did
- 43:06Speaker 1: you get tested?
- 43:06Speaker 2: You never know who knows, but most likely you're probably
- 43:09Speaker 2: I mean most likely you're not. You know who's autistic?
- 43:13Speaker 2: You know who's legit autistic? My boyfriend, Oh yeah, and
- 43:18Speaker 2: he don't get tested next month, thank god, because hopefully
- 43:21Speaker 2: they'll tell him if he is or not. I think
- 43:23Speaker 2: he is. Hell. I had my mother, who was a
- 43:27Speaker 2: special educator, special teacher, be like, hey, is he autistic?
- 43:33Speaker 2: Is he autistic? And I'm like, oh, damn, he cluck?
- 43:39Speaker 1: Is he?
- 43:39Speaker 4: Mom?
- 43:39Speaker 2: Cluck is tea? But now no, we're both. They're divergent
- 43:46Speaker 2: in some way. I love my neurodivergent flavor. I'm sorry
- 43:52Speaker 2: if you're not neurodivergent in some way, you're boring. There
- 43:57Speaker 2: are neurodivergent people are some of the best people. You
- 44:00Speaker 2: over me who the weird is funny if you don't
- 44:06Speaker 2: have something wrong with you, something wrong, something wrong with you,
- 44:09Speaker 2: like are you even living life? Like hello? Like in
- 44:15Speaker 2: the description below, you'll see a link they'll take it
- 44:17Speaker 2: to you the podcast and then Avoid Family Productions podcast
- 44:21Speaker 2: as well as the Patreon. Please go subscribe to the patreon.
- 44:24Speaker 1: We're all weird here.
- 44:25Speaker 2: We're all weird here. Uh, Jacob, you're starting you're starting
- 44:30Speaker 2: out first, What are we talking about today?
- 44:33Speaker 1: Oh? Okay, okay, so today in this in this episode,
- 44:39Speaker 1: that was that that comes to you live before a
- 44:41Speaker 1: pre recorded audience.
- 44:43Speaker 2: Yep mm hmm.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Got you going there.
- 44:48Speaker 5: Uh we are.
- 44:49Speaker 1: We are reviewing the next book in the project in
- 44:52Speaker 1: the Project Nemesis saga. Uh so we so far we
- 44:56Speaker 1: reviewed the very first book in the series, Project Nemesis,
- 45:00Speaker 1: and we reviewed its unofficial like soft prequel Island seven
- 45:05Speaker 1: thirty one.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:06Speaker 1: Now we're gonna be reviewing the sequel to Project Nemesis
- 45:09Speaker 1: and also soft sequel to Island seven thirty one, Book
- 45:14Speaker 1: two of the Nemesis Saga Project Mago, So Project Mygo
- 45:19Speaker 1: takes place not long after the events of projects of
- 45:23Speaker 1: Project Nemesis. So the world is in shop. Really, the Northeast,
- 45:29Speaker 1: the northeastern part of the US is still recovering from
- 45:34Speaker 1: just the like tragic and like horrific amount of loss
- 45:38Speaker 1: and damage that happened as a result of Nemesis' rampage Boston.
- 45:44Speaker 1: Downtown Boston is still it's still a wasteland. There's no
- 45:51Speaker 1: leftover residual radiation. That's thing about Nemesis is that, unlike
- 45:54Speaker 1: other Kaiju that we're used to, Nemesis doesn't really give
- 45:58Speaker 1: off radiation. But still the devastation is insane. Parts of
- 46:03Speaker 1: the city are literally melted from when Nemesis self immolated herself. UH.
- 46:09Speaker 1: And now the whole world has is scrambling to develop
- 46:14Speaker 1: its own Kaiji response team. So the US has a
- 46:18Speaker 1: bit of a The US now has a bit of
- 46:21Speaker 1: an advantage over other world other world leaders because UH
- 46:25Speaker 1: they now have a more dedicated team under the under
- 46:28Speaker 1: the command of John Hudson, and Hudson UH is now
- 46:32Speaker 1: the is now the director of Fusion Center P which
- 46:36Speaker 1: stands for Paranormal and their budget went from just like
- 46:39Speaker 1: a small broom closet budget to like a full on
- 46:43Speaker 1: like task force. All right, they now have control of
- 46:46Speaker 1: the military resources. They have pretty much all the they
- 46:50Speaker 1: have all the cool toys now, and what they're doing
- 46:55Speaker 1: is built and what they're trying to do now is
- 46:57Speaker 1: develop a system where they can can more accurately track
- 47:01Speaker 1: down Nemesis and hopefully predict her movements, figure out where
- 47:06Speaker 1: if she's going to come back, or and or if
- 47:10Speaker 1: she does come back, how they're going to respond to it.
- 47:12Speaker 1: Because they already know that there is a slight chance
- 47:14Speaker 1: that they can kill Nemesis because they almost did in
- 47:18Speaker 1: her first rampage. But still it's very hard to do.
- 47:22Speaker 1: It's not something that they'll be able to easily. Uh
- 47:25Speaker 1: They're not gonna be able to easily kill Nemesis right
- 47:29Speaker 1: off the bat. So they're trying to look into other
- 47:32Speaker 1: like other things, find other resources. In One of those
- 47:35Speaker 1: ways is one of those ways to find other resources
- 47:40Speaker 1: and possibly other weapons against Nemesis is they start playing
- 47:45Speaker 1: with the idea of possibly finding other Kaiju or other
- 47:49Speaker 1: monsters or cryptids that could possibly be used in the
- 47:52Speaker 1: fight against Nemesis. Uh And and part of the fusion centerpiece,
- 48:00Speaker 1: bigger budget is they there's still they still have to
- 48:02Speaker 1: investigate other paranormal sightings, other paranoral activity. So Hudson and
- 48:09Speaker 1: his ah, excuse me, I need to get all of
- 48:14Speaker 1: these people mhm characters down down because I like, honestly,
- 48:19Speaker 1: like Hudson, that's it in Collins, that's her name, all right, Sorry,
- 48:29Speaker 1: cut that part up. So so, while as while the
- 48:33Speaker 1: rest of the United States intelligence is focusing on keeping
- 48:37Speaker 1: an eye out for Nemesis, for a resurgence of Nemesis,
- 48:40Speaker 1: Hudson goes to investigate reports of a catwoman because some
- 48:45Speaker 1: are because somewhere like deep deep in one of the
- 48:50Speaker 1: deep in one of the US reservation like nature Preserves,
- 48:54Speaker 1: they there have been unsubstantiated reports of what appears to
- 48:59Speaker 1: have been a uh, feline woman, like a cat like woman, right,
- 49:04Speaker 1: what's what's the pro And also like what's surprising is
- 49:07Speaker 1: that they're seeing sightings of panthers, like black panthers, like
- 49:11Speaker 1: a type of feline, like a type of the type
- 49:13Speaker 1: of feline that you wouldn't typically see in the northern
- 49:16Speaker 1: US because up here we don't have jaguars or leopards
- 49:20Speaker 1: or anything like that. We have mountain lions, and we
- 49:24Speaker 1: also pumas cougars. They're all the same. Those are all
- 49:29Speaker 1: the same words for the same mountain lion, puma, cougar,
- 49:32Speaker 1: they're all the same. They're the same word for the
- 49:35Speaker 1: different words the same animal. We do have other cat
- 49:38Speaker 1: species like bobcats and lynxes, but we don't have leopards,
- 49:44Speaker 1: we don't have jaguars. So, but the kind of animal
- 49:47Speaker 1: that the reports were shown that the reports were showing
- 49:50Speaker 1: was one it was appears to be like a humanoid
- 49:53Speaker 1: girl that looks suspiciously like a cat, like a big cat.
- 49:57Speaker 1: And then also there were some other sightings of other
- 50:00Speaker 1: large cat species that don't really belong and aren't really
- 50:05Speaker 1: native to that area. So Hudson and Collins goes to
- 50:08Speaker 1: investigate and they actually discover the catwoman herself. And I
- 50:16Speaker 1: just want to point out this cat woman in particular
- 50:18Speaker 1: is actually one they've met before. It's actually one that
- 50:22Speaker 1: we readers have met before. So if you followed along
- 50:29Speaker 1: with our last episode, with our previous episode Island seven
- 50:32Speaker 1: thirty one, there was a character from there were several
- 50:34Speaker 1: characters from that book, mainly Okay, sorry, that's it, Like,
- 50:44Speaker 1: get over, sorry, names in order. Yep. So back in Islands.
- 50:52Speaker 1: In the book Island seven thirty one, the main character
- 50:54Speaker 1: was a guy named Mark Hawkins, and Hawkins had rescued Hawkins.
- 50:59Speaker 1: In this part, Juliet, they had rescued a chimera, a
- 51:04Speaker 1: humanoid chimera girl named that they end up naming Lily.
- 51:07Speaker 1: Lily is a ki is a chimera that was born
- 51:11Speaker 1: on the Islands on Island seven thirty one. Her mother
- 51:15Speaker 1: was another chimera that was called Kaiju. And so Lily
- 51:20Speaker 1: herself outwardly, she looks like a she looks like a
- 51:23Speaker 1: young woman, but she is covered in black fur, and
- 51:26Speaker 1: she has a long catlike tail. She has hooked she
- 51:29Speaker 1: does have retractable hooked claws in her hands and feet,
- 51:33Speaker 1: you know, can't face all that kind of all that shit.
- 51:36Speaker 1: She has other chimera feats that aren't really like outwardly visible,
- 51:40Speaker 1: but that's like the that is like the main look
- 51:43Speaker 1: outward appearance of her. So the thing is is that
- 51:46Speaker 1: Hudson had received reports of a catwoman who had been
- 51:50Speaker 1: sneaking into people's yards looking through windows, you know, just
- 51:54Speaker 1: overall like like multiple different sidings. So Hudson actually finds
- 51:59Speaker 1: Lily that's Hawkins had named her Lily, and Lily almost
- 52:05Speaker 1: actually almost attacks them, but was stopped by Hawkins. Hudson
- 52:10Speaker 1: almost accidentally shot one of her girls because at the
- 52:14Speaker 1: end of Island seven thirty one, she laid three eggs
- 52:17Speaker 1: that hatched into these other like puma like black panther
- 52:22Speaker 1: like creatures don't really they never really go into full detail,
- 52:26Speaker 1: like what kind of animal that they are, like a
- 52:29Speaker 1: chimera of, or like a hybrid of. But from what
- 52:33Speaker 1: we can tell, they are something similar to a panther
- 52:35Speaker 1: and they are also technically Lily's children, so they live
- 52:41Speaker 1: together on Ute reservation and people have cited them as well.
- 52:47Speaker 1: Hudson almost accidentally shot one of them, causing Lily to
- 52:50Speaker 1: jump out to defend them, and Lily almost attacks Hudson,
- 52:54Speaker 1: but everything is stopped. The whole confrontation is stopped by
- 52:59Speaker 1: her adoptive dad, Hawkins things Hudson and Hodson's Hudson and
- 53:06Speaker 1: Hawkins actually knew each other uh and and Hudson tell
- 53:10Speaker 1: us Hawkins like, we got reports of Lily here, of
- 53:14Speaker 1: sightings of Lily here, and that's why we're here. They met.
- 53:20Speaker 1: Hawkins explains more about the Hudson explains more about like
- 53:27Speaker 1: Lily's upbringing, where she came from, and their overall backstory.
- 53:32Speaker 1: Hawkins does his job to just make sure to like
- 53:35Speaker 1: you know, not really bag them, but just tag them,
- 53:38Speaker 1: make sure like notes like notesaate and document that they
- 53:41Speaker 1: discovered them. And also want to make sure that the
- 53:45Speaker 1: public doesn't become more aware of more aware of Lily
- 53:48Speaker 1: and her little panther girls, her little panther children. Yeah,
- 53:54Speaker 1: and the thing is that while this is happening, the
- 53:58Speaker 1: story does focus on like several different focuses in Project Nemesis,
- 54:04Speaker 1: there were several other characters antagonist characters, I should add
- 54:09Speaker 1: a former general named by named Lance Gordon and a
- 54:13Speaker 1: japan former Japanese military exchange exchange training named Endo Endo
- 54:19Speaker 1: just chose to work for Gordon directly to help him create,
- 54:23Speaker 1: to help him with his program to to create a
- 54:28Speaker 1: viable cloning procedure to create and uh mass produced cloned organs.
- 54:34Speaker 1: And that's how Nemesis was created. Uh. She was created
- 54:38Speaker 1: from the clone of a young girl named Migo, and
- 54:42Speaker 1: this clone when it reached a large when it reached
- 54:44Speaker 1: a mature enough state, they harvested her heart and transplanted
- 54:49Speaker 1: into Gordon, who was suffering from congenital heart disease, and
- 54:53Speaker 1: after the transplant, Gordon made a full recovery, but he
- 54:57Speaker 1: also ended up gaining some Kaiju like fee features. He
- 55:00Speaker 1: gained monstrous levels of strength. He also gained more regenitive abilities,
- 55:07Speaker 1: and as what is revealed in Project Mago is that
- 55:10Speaker 1: his body actually began to transform, becoming something more Nemesis like.
- 55:15Speaker 1: He doesn't grow to the size of a giant Kaiju,
- 55:18Speaker 1: but his body does transform into something more monstrous and
- 55:23Speaker 1: Endo still is still working with him. And now, as
- 55:27Speaker 1: it's revealed, Gordon had another had another card up his sleeve.
- 55:33Speaker 1: When Gordon had discovered the corpse of the original Nemesis,
- 55:37Speaker 1: the alien creature that they harvested that DNA from and
- 55:40Speaker 1: created the new Nemesis from, they had also discovered that
- 55:45Speaker 1: the original Nemesis had laid eggs. It laid five eggs,
- 55:51Speaker 1: and Gordon knew about these eggs, went to them, found them,
- 55:54Speaker 1: and actually managed to incubate them to the point where
- 55:58Speaker 1: they'd hatch. Yeah and secretly he hatched them in a
- 56:03Speaker 1: remote area across the world, like in Southeast Asia, and
- 56:08Speaker 1: when they hatched, they began to when they hatched, they
- 56:11Speaker 1: began to of course feed and grow, mainly feeling on
- 56:16Speaker 1: like small isolated villages local wildlife, before eventually moving on
- 56:21Speaker 1: to bigger prey like oceanic creatures. And when we finally
- 56:25Speaker 1: see these five kaiju, all five of them are near
- 56:31Speaker 1: the size of Nemesis herself, and they're all they all
- 56:35Speaker 1: will eventually get their own names. But these five kaiju
- 56:42Speaker 1: are the are the children of the original Nemesis, and
- 56:48Speaker 1: they each have their own names. Let me pull up
- 56:50Speaker 1: their names here real quick. The names are all based
- 56:52Speaker 1: off of like like Greek figures and like Greek gods
- 56:57Speaker 1: and monsters. Then some of them have pretty some of
- 57:00Speaker 1: them have pretty cool looks. Uh. So we'll start with
- 57:04Speaker 1: the too smaller of the two smallest kaiju. One of
- 57:09Speaker 1: the smaller ones is one called Drakeen. Drakeen looks like
- 57:12Speaker 1: a giant kaiju size iguana crossed with like a komodo dragon,
- 57:16Speaker 1: has more like armored plates and the dorsal spine going
- 57:19Speaker 1: down its back. It's quadrupedal. It's kind of like uh.
- 57:25Speaker 1: It's design was kind of inspired by uh one of
- 57:29Speaker 1: the kaiju from Pacific wren I forgot that. Yeah, I
- 57:33Speaker 1: forgot the name of it. It was the one with
- 57:35Speaker 1: it was the flying one at the end of it
- 57:38Speaker 1: was kind of like based off of that flying one,
- 57:39Speaker 1: but this one doesn't fly. It just looks more like
- 57:42Speaker 1: a giant lizard long preensal tail, and its head could
- 57:45Speaker 1: actually like split open in a long like comedian chameleon
- 57:48Speaker 1: like tongue can shoot out, So this one is called
- 57:52Speaker 1: drakeen Uh. There was another kaiju named Screen. The other
- 57:56Speaker 1: kaiju that was smaller of the five was called Screon.
- 58:01Speaker 1: Screon is like a looks like a cross between an
- 58:05Speaker 1: armadillo and a pug, so ugly and like quadrupedal, small,
- 58:11Speaker 1: very fast. Unsurprisingly, this one was probably was the one
- 58:14Speaker 1: that ends up getting killed first, just a bit of
- 58:17Speaker 1: a spoiler, and then then you got it's big, you guy,
- 58:22Speaker 1: It's three bigger and possibly more dangerous siblings. You have Sila.
- 58:28Speaker 1: Sila looks like a giant hammerhead type kaiju. Its head
- 58:34Speaker 1: and face looks like a hammerhead shark, but it's it
- 58:36Speaker 1: has a more like uh. It's it's bipedal, has like
- 58:40Speaker 1: large hooked like claws, and just like its mother, it
- 58:43Speaker 1: has like it has those glowing organs on its chest
- 58:47Speaker 1: that if you if they pop, they explode. You have
- 58:52Speaker 1: another kaiju named car Kinos, so the Hammerhead. So I
- 58:56Speaker 1: don't know if I said the name of the other one,
- 58:57Speaker 1: but the Hammerhead kaiju was called Silla, named after the
- 59:01Speaker 1: sea monster from the Odyssey, one of the sea monsters
- 59:03Speaker 1: from the Odyssey. And then the next one you have
- 59:06Speaker 1: is called car Kinosh. Car Kinos actually looks a lot
- 59:10Speaker 1: like Nemesis, or rather Nemesis Prime. He's big, bulky, heavily implied.
- 59:16Speaker 1: This one was a male, just like Nemesis is implied
- 59:18Speaker 1: as being female. Carkinos looks just like his mother. There
- 59:24Speaker 1: are some subtle differences, like Carkinos's lot beef here has
- 59:28Speaker 1: the same similar like sickle like Claus, like flat sickle
- 59:32Speaker 1: like Claus, and a row of dorsal spines going down
- 59:37Speaker 1: his back. And he has a long preanzal tail, and
- 59:39Speaker 1: instead of having like a trident tale just like Nemesis
- 59:42Speaker 1: does his, he just has like one scythe like barb
- 59:46Speaker 1: at the end of his tail. Oh my, and the
- 59:50Speaker 1: fifth Kaiju, the fifth of the fifth Kaiju of Nemesis brewed.
- 59:55Speaker 1: This was probably the scariest because this one, he's called Typhon.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: And Typhon looks like a giant human kaiju.
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: He looks like he looks like if a human and
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Nemesis were like perfectly blended. So he doesn't have a tail.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: He has a human like face, you know, more like
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: but more grotesque, looking more fierce. He does have the
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: same like he does have the same nemesis type like
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: glowing organs going down his chest. But he looks like
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: a giant human all right. He does have like he
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: does have like human like hands with claws. Like it's
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: almost like if Doomsday from DC Comics was turned into
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: a kaiju.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: Just a shot.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: Hold on, let me pull. I have a picture of
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Typhon right here, just to show you, Devin, so Tyon.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: The reason why I say Typhon is probably the scariest
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: of all of the brood is because it's hinted and
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: when he appears later, it's hinted that he has something
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: close to human like intelligence. Oh dear, So he's smart.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: He actually fights with tact it like like he actually
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: like learns from his opponent. And uh, there's point, there's
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: a point where he like ends up using tools like
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: buildings and other like debris around him to his advantage,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: and his mouth is able to like split open in
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: like like four different ways, kind of like have you
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: ever seen Blade Blade two? Those those vampires there's jaws
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: split open. It's kind of like that.
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: So, so we learned that there's now five Yu kaiju
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: and these are all these are all children of the
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: original Nemesis and Lance Gordon had had let had incubated
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: them and and to the point where they were all
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: able to hatch, and he somehow was able to form
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: a bond with them. So they imprinted on him and
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: he has control, like some sort of weird control over them,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: something that might have to do with his new kaiju physiology.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: So since Gordon now has some of Nemesis' DNA inside
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: of him thanks to the heart he had transplanted, he's
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: able to control these five Kaiju, or at the very
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: least direct their actions. So each of the five Kayju
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: begin to go on rampages, and they're all working together
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: at first, like they come when they first start to
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: appear around the world. They're they're often working individually causing
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: uh cause like rending my god, I can't talk today,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: wrecking havoc wherever they go. One of the first ones
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: that we see was scre On, who was the smallest
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: of all of them. But when these Kaiju begin to rampage,
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: this actually does get the attention of Nemesis, and Nemesis
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: does come, does make landfall again and fight Screon and
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: ends up brutally killing the fuck out of Screon, but
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: still causes a lot of damage. She eventually also fights
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Dracken and the three so she and so she and
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Dracken will fight, and she does end up killing him,
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: but there's a lot of damage caused, and even Nemesis
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: takes a lot of damage so eventually, So the thing
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: is is that Gordon now has is he himself can
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: he considers himself his own superpower because unlike the rest
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: of the world that has like nuclear weapons, he has
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: kaiju which are which can be just as devastating and
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: are just as difficult to defeat. So using his imprinted
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: his using his imprinted connection to these Kaiju, he begins
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: to direct them towards Washington, d C. And Hudson has
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: Hudson is forced to use bring all of this of
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: the of the Bureau, the FCP Center, the Fusion Center
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: piece resources down on Washington to fight off the five
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: kai the remaining three Kaiju. Uh sorry, brain fart, brain fart,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: brain fart, brain.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: Fart happens a lot.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: There's a lot to remember. I mean, this book, these
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: books aren't This book was really that long. So I'm
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: just realizing, like, oh crap, I'm almost almost there. Uh uh,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: let me pull up my notes because I got a
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: girl not the girl well, because I also had chat
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: pull up some like a summary and uh when I
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: pulled when I switched over to chat chat like pull
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: up a new like page instead of the notes, I
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: just had, uh, the instead of the summary. And I'm
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: just like, girl, pull up my summary. Dad. Okay. So Gordon,
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: using his control over the Kaiju, direct the remaining three
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Kaiju to Washington. Uh Hudson has to pull pretty much
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: call in everything he's got, and surprisingly he is able.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: He's able to more or less direct Nemesis to help
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: them fight the Kaiju. So by h so he was
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: able to get Nemesis to kill to already kill Draken
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: and sign on. Sign was the easiest because it was
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: the smallest. Dragon was a little bit a little bit harder,
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: but Nemesis was still able to kill it, but now
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: there are three more Kaiju that Nemesis has to destroy,
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: and Hudson learned uh learns that they're being that the
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: Kaiju are somehow being controlled by the by Lance Gordon.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: So he now knows that he needs to find a
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: way to uh to take Gordon down. If if they
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: don't take him down, then the Kaiju will continue on
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: their rampage. And they also learned that Gordon isn't focused
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: on like isn't focusing on destroying the world. He wants
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: to control the world. He wants to use the Kaiju
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: to take over the world, take over the U, the
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: U S, which is why he's targeting Washington, d C,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: and just basically world just the ultimate goal is world domination.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: Uh So.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: This all leads up to one final confrontation the mill
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: the US military and Nemesis versus the three remaining uh.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: The three remaining Kaiju Typhon, car Kinos, and Scilla uh
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: so so Typhon and Silla both proved to be extremely dangerous.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Stilla is more of a mindless like wrecket ralph type character,
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: uh whereas uh like, whereas Typhon is more UH. Typhon
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: surprisingly is very is very smart and intelligent. And then
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: you have car Kinos, who is very much like his mother.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Nemesis has the same kind of level of ferocity and
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: overall just unstoppable, just this overall unstoppable force. Uh. You
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: want to know something surprising though? Wait, hold up, this
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: actually doesn't I'm sorry, this doesn't happen in this book.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: I'm sorry I was about to I was about to
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: give a spoiler for one of the later books. Okay,
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: never mind, I'm a back up a bit. So while
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: the US, while the military and Nemesis are fighting the
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: last three Kaiju, Hudson and his team go track down
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: Endo and Gordon at the White House and confront him there.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Thing is, Gordon has become more grotesque, looking, more Kaiju like,
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: and as a result, he has monstrous levels of strength.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: He's brutally killing all of the you know, the Secret
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Service trying to get to the President. But but Hudson
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: and his team managed to corner Gordon and they actually
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: call in a favor with Hawkins and managed to get
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: Lily down on the field. So cool thing about Lily
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: is that she not only is she have like these
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: panther like reflexes and other like anmal like traits. But
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: she's she's stupidly strong. She is really strong and when
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: they send her, when they call her in, she immediately
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: goes for Gordon and actually starts whooping his ass. Surprisingly,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: his monsters like her own strength is enough to take
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: him on. She's faster, more nimble, and she was able
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: to keep him, keep him on his toes, and eventually
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: they were able to kill him. They're able Well, hold on,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: did they actually kill him? Let me double check that,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: because okay, yeah, they actually do kill Gordon sor right,
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: I just wanted to confirm that, because yeah, so they
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: actually managed with Lily's help, they actually managed to corner
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: corner Gordon. They shoot him up. They actually they way
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: that they kill him because his body is covered in
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: this in a similar part, this similar type of hide
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: that covers Nemesis' body. Uh, that they find a way
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: to using a special like special type of explosive arrow
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: They they were actually able to like shoot him up
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: with a bunch of these arrows, and when the arrow
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: tips got deep en up into his flesh, they detonated them,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: causing pretty much causing his whole body to just like
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: just blow up from the inside. Out, so his tough
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: skin held him together, but his inside completely got pulverized,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: killing Gordon instantly. So now Gordon himself has been taken
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: care of with the military salt. Nemesis is able to
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: kill Scilla and Typhon, though it wasn't an easy fight
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: and she's pretty much almost dead. And Carkinos, the one,
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: the one that looks more most like Nemesis, almost kills her.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: But but Gordon. But Gordon had just had distracted Carkinos
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: by trying to lure him towards the White House to
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: destroy it. But before the White before Gordon could, like
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Carcinos could get any closer, Nemesis actually drops down and
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: actually surprise attacks Carkinos, dropping down from the like jumps up,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: drops down in front of Carcinos and uses her barbed
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: tail to literally like slice him into yep, and we're
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: talking like down the middle. Yeah, it was an intense fight.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: Nemesis is. Nemesis was beaten down to the point where
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: her outer layer of skin ends up breaking off, revealing
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: her more vulnerable white form, like white scaled form with
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: her quote unquote wings, but she doesn't get to use
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: them because since the since the reflective panels in her
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: wings really only work better at focusing daylight. There in
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: the middle of the night, there's smoke everywhere, there's not
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: there's no hint of daylight whatsoever, So she doesn't really
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: use her wings for her offensive attack, but she still
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: manages to use her her natural blades and just brutally
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: kills the last of her children.
- 1:11:28Speaker 6: After that, like, Washington is saved, quote unquote saved, but
- 1:11:34Speaker 6: as safe as much as it can be, considering that
- 1:11:36Speaker 6: five like considering that four kaiju literally just destroyed the
- 1:11:41Speaker 6: fuck out of the place.
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: Nice.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: So the military, of course immediately turns on Nemesis, forcing
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: her to retreat back into the ocean UH and leaving
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: Gordon and the rest of the US government to clean
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: up the mess. Weeks later, weeks later, while surveying the
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: damage from UH, the the damage done to Washington, the
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: survey crews find something interesting. A strange like organic looking
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: pod is found. UH is found floating off the coast
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: of of d c UH. They bring it in and
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: when Gordon looks at it, he realizes that there's something
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: inside it, and he cuts it open. And what did
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: they find but a young woman, And it's revealed that
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: the young woman is mygo so I just so, just
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: to give you a little bit more backstory, the original
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: Migo is dead.
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: She was murdered.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: She was brutally murdered by her father. But the program
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: that Gordon had created to create clones for the purpose
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: of like mass producing harvestable organs using clones, he'd use
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: the DNA of this murdered girl, Migo. Now Migo. The
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: original Migo was just like just a little girl. She
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: was I think she was like she wasn't older than ten.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: But when he cloned her and spliced her DNA together
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: with the DNA of Nemesis, it caused the clone to
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: grow to full adolescence, to the pass full adolescence, to
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: the point of where she was just she was already
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: the clone was already a young woman. They harvested her heart, transplanted,
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: transplanted into Gordon, and that clone, when it was disposed of,
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: ended up regenerating itself and began growing into Nemesis herself.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: The thing is, though this was ten, this clone would
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: be more closely like is more closely like a camera
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: than an actual hybrid. Because the thing is is that
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: the human DNA and the alien DNA from Nemesis were
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: not really compatible. I mean, they bonded together, but the
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: alien DNA proved to be more more aggressive and more
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: dominant that it quickly dominated the human DNA, causing it
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: to grow into a new Nemesis. And the thing is
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: is that we're starting this is actually a bit of
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: foreshadowing because when Nemesis grew to her full form, she
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: ended up purging what was left of the human parts
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: of her of her DNA and and the result was
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: she ended up expelling this little pod with with a
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: fully grown, totally human version of Migo. Well quote unquote
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: totally human. The thing is is that this Migo, this
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: new Migo, is uh it not. I'm not gonna give
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: too much spoilers about her. She's going to play a
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: big role in the next in the upcoming books, but
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: it's revealed that she still has some traits left over
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: from Nemesis. But the Migo that we see now that
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: that Hudson was able to cut out of that pod,
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: she's a young woman, like probably late teens, early twenties.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: She's not a little girl. She's almost fully grown. Yeah,
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: so this is a big The book ends on a
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: bit of a cliffhanger because now we have Mygo, we
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: have a we have a fully human version of My Goo.
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: Nemesis is still out in the world, but now there's
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: more fears that this isn't just gonna stop here, like
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: it's not gonna stop with just Nemesis and the five
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: Kai Kaiju that were born from Nemesis. The world is
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: now afraid that there's going to be more Kaiju to
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: come in the future, and there will be. So this
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: was a bit of a short episode because Project Nemesis
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: Project Mago, I should say, uh, it's actually really short book.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: The ebook that I have is only one hundred and
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: fifty pages long, so it's a pretty short book. It's
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: probably one of the shortest next to Project Nemesis. But
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: later on with the upcoming books, there's still three more
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: books in the series. So after Project Mago, we have
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: Project seven thirty one, which is more of a direct
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: sequel of Island seven thirty one, and then after Project
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: seven thirty one you have Project Hyperion and then Project Legion.
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: All right, so a lot of these books. So when
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: we start in the next couple of books, we're going
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: to start seeing more and more of these of the
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: story tying in with some of the other some of
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: the other stories within the Robinson verse. Like it's not
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: un sot like Project Legion that a lot of these
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: books come tying together, but we start seeing more references
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: to them in Project seven thirty one. If you guys
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: want to help, Like, if you guys want to start preparing,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: definitely look into like of course, Island seventy seven thirty
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: one and the other product Nemesis books that we've already reviewed,
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: and then also start looking into a book by Jeremy
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: Robinson called Raising the Past. Raising the Past introduces some
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: alien characters that actually have that are actually responsible for
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: the creation of Nemesis. So if you want to look
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: more into the origin of Nemesis and like what created
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: Nemesis Prime and why she was sent here to Earth,
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: definitely give Raising the Past read. And then when we
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: get into into Projects seven thirty one, some things are
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: going to start making sense. Some more things are gonna
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: start making sense. And not to spoil anything, but there's
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: a certain Chimera creature from Island seven to thirty one
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: that's gonna make a return to that's gonna make a
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: return into Projects seven thirty one. And I must warn
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: you if you have a rachmophobia, this is not the
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: book for you.
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: Well, there you go. Now when we'll come back, we'll
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: be back to the next week. I will be doing
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: a book, dear listeners, and then the week after that
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: we'll do Project seven thirty one before Pride Month, because
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: Pride Month is all going to be about gay shit.
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: So and then of course after Pride Month we'll Jacob,
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: we'll finish out the last two books, Hyperion and Legion.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: Yep, Hyperion, Legion seven thirty one, Legion. Oh wait, we're
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: doing seven.
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: Thirty one next the not next week, but the week after.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: Week after it. Okay, is it after seven thirty one
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: that we're doing Pride stuff? The Pride stuff? Yes? Okay, cool, yes,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: But all right, guys, we appreciate you listening in today. Uh.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: I know this one was a pretty short novel, but
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: as we go on project from Project seven thirty one
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: to Project Legion, those books do get longer. There's a
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: lot more that goes on. You want to prepare go
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: a bit of a deep dive. Definitely check out the
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: rest of the books that tie into it. Aside from
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: Island seven thirty one, and Raising the Past. There are
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: books like Zombie Uprising by Jeremy Robinson. Those are one
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: of the two names of that one book. We got
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: Second World and a Nazi Hunter, and then there's also
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: at the Antarctos series, the Jack Siegler series, and I'm
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: pretty sure there's also another book I forgot the name
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: of it, but it's about a time travel time traveler.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: I didn't read it mainly because the character in that
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: book only makes like one small appearance in Project Legion,
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: and after that we don't really see them, so that
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: one's not really important, So you don't really have to
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: read it if you want to go for it. If
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: you want to do more of a deep dive than
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: I did, by all means, go for it. But the
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: main ones, I definitely recommend reading His Island seven thirty one,
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: Raising the Past, Second World, and then Atlanta's The Nazi Hunter,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: and then of course if you want to go a
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: little bit more into it and Arctos Rising and the
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: Jack Siegler series, you could definitely give those a read.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: Some of the characters from those books do play a
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: major role in the upcoming books that come that we're
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: about to review. Ye until bye bye bye
