- 1:14Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:14Speaker 1: What is happening right? We just talked.
- 1:16Speaker 2: I don't know. I just thought maybe he was in
- 1:18Speaker 2: the bathroom. I was like, I don't know. Sometimes I
- 1:20Speaker 2: run to the bathroom last minute and then someone tries
- 1:22Speaker 2: to talk to me in there and I'm like, I
- 1:23Speaker 2: got to get on the air. I don't want to
- 1:24Speaker 2: be rude.
- 1:25Speaker 1: He was just in here and everything was fine. Yeah. Okay. Well,
- 1:28Speaker 1: good morning on that note. I'm super rattled. Oh, no.
- 1:32Speaker 6: Sorry.
- 1:32Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Everybody take a deep breath.
- 1:34Speaker 1: What is happening? What's going on? You good? Yeah, I'm good.
- 1:37Speaker 4: I'm good.
- 1:38Speaker 1: I'm good. I'm good.
- 1:39Speaker 4: I'm good.
- 1:39Speaker 1: For real. Okay.
- 1:40Speaker 7: Well, maybe you can explain what just happened. I mean,
- 1:44Speaker 7: you don't have to get into detail. I mean, we're
- 1:45Speaker 7: all family here.
- 1:46Speaker 8: Well, I don't know what's... I felt a little nauseous,
- 1:50Speaker 8: and then I was like, oh, goodness. And then I
- 1:52Speaker 8: ran to the bathroom.
- 1:52Speaker 1: That's it. Okay.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Okay. Sorry.
- 1:54Speaker 1: I felt a little dizzy.
- 1:55Speaker 2: It happens. When it happens.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Why don't you go get some water or something?
- 1:59Speaker 2: Yeah. Sit down and relax. Get in the comfy chair.
- 2:01Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:01Speaker 1: You're whiter than me right now.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Sorry, Pooh.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:06Speaker 1: It's all good.
- 2:06Speaker 2: I've been there. During your live show, and you're like, oh,
- 2:10Speaker 2: I don't feel good?
- 2:11Speaker 8: Yeah, well, I'm on a new blood pressure medicine or whatever. Yeah,
- 2:16Speaker 8: sorry to sound old and grandpa-ish, but my doctor's trying
- 2:19Speaker 8: this blood pressure medicine. He says I need to lose
- 2:22Speaker 8: a little weight, and it just made me, he said,
- 2:24Speaker 8: I might get a little dizzy or nauseous. And I
- 2:27Speaker 8: was just standing here looking at y'all, and then I
- 2:28Speaker 8: was like, oh, I felt nauseous.
- 2:30Speaker 1: So I went and excused myself.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Sorry about that.
- 2:33Speaker 4: Sorry, Pooh.
- 2:35Speaker 1: You want me to call 911? Oh, no.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Okay.
- 2:37Speaker 1: No. All right, well, let's make sure you're okay.
- 2:41Speaker 2: That's the thing when you're doing a live show. It's like,
- 2:43Speaker 2: you know, you can't just step away from your desk.
- 2:45Speaker 7: It's that movie where they look at the old person
- 2:47Speaker 7: every day, and they're like, hey, don't you go dying
- 2:49Speaker 7: on us.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 2:51Speaker 4: No, I'm not.
- 2:51Speaker 6: I promise.
- 2:52Speaker 1: All right. I can't give up on y'all. Yeah, please.
- 2:56Speaker 4: Oh, God.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Let's just turn.
- 2:59Speaker 2: That'll be Thursday.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I was trying to kick off the show in a
- 3:02Speaker 1: good mood.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Me too.
- 3:04Speaker 1: First break, Pooh dies.
- 3:05Speaker 6: No.
- 3:07Speaker 1: In a bathroom of all places.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Not the bathroom.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Not here, please. Like Elvis. Oh, really?
- 3:13Speaker 8: If something like that happens, please drag me down the
- 3:16Speaker 8: tollway and be like, I don't know what happened.
- 3:18Speaker 1: He was trying to rescue a cat in the middle
- 3:20Speaker 1: of the tollway. I'm not touching you.
- 3:22Speaker 4: No.
- 3:24Speaker 1: You just don't leave me in the bathroom and be
- 3:25Speaker 1: taking pictures? I'll put some cones around you or something.
- 3:30Speaker 1: How are you, Candace?
- 3:31Speaker 6: I'm good.
- 3:32Speaker 2: I wore my green hoodie today because I wanted to
- 3:34Speaker 2: give you guys the official green light to put up
- 3:37Speaker 2: Halloween decorations today. It's October 1st.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Oh, so that's the green light?
- 3:40Speaker 2: So have a good time.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Now we can do it.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Yes, you can officially do it. It's officially cuffing season,
- 3:45Speaker 2: I heard. So a lot of things happening on October 1st.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Oh, good. Okay, well, exciting. It's also National Pumpkin Spice Day.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Nice.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Which I don't know if it deserves a whole day.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I mean, it deserves a whole month, really.
- 3:58Speaker 7: I'll tell you something funny that happened to me yesterday.
- 4:00Speaker 7: I almost put my dog. Oh, this kind of stuff
- 4:03Speaker 7: only happens to me. I pull in my driveway from
- 4:06Speaker 7: work and I'm like, oh, I can't wait to get
- 4:08Speaker 7: inside because I got to eat.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I want to take maybe a quick nap.
- 4:11Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:11Speaker 1: And when I pull into the driveway, there's a dog
- 4:13Speaker 1: there randomly sitting in my driveway.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Okay.
- 4:17Speaker 1: And I was like, what in the world?
- 4:19Speaker 7: So then I already had the garage opening because, you know,
- 4:21Speaker 7: before I could even see my garage, I'm already opening
- 4:23Speaker 7: the garage.
- 4:23Speaker 6: Sure.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Then the dog goes in my garage.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 4:27Speaker 1: And I was like, whose dog is this? No collar, whatever.
- 4:30Speaker 1: So I'm like, huh, strange, but all right, I guess
- 4:33Speaker 1: let me just figure out what's going on.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Right.
- 4:35Speaker 7: So I'm like, I don't know if this dog's friendly.
- 4:37Speaker 7: So I kind of crack my door and he runs
- 4:38Speaker 7: right up to my door.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Oh. And he's very friendly.
- 4:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:41Speaker 1: So I was like, okay, well, this sucks because no collar.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on.
- 4:45Speaker 7: My dog, I hear flipping out, but I don't know
- 4:47Speaker 7: if this dog's friendly, so I'm going to keep him
- 4:48Speaker 7: away from each other. This dog's exhausted, so I'm like,
- 4:51Speaker 7: let me get the dog some water. Immediately call Carrollton
- 4:54Speaker 7: Animal Services to figure out maybe somebody called because they
- 4:57Speaker 7: lost their dog. We're going to send somebody out there
- 5:00Speaker 7: and pick it up.
- 5:01Speaker 1: And I'm like, okay, cool. Well, you know, just let
- 5:04Speaker 1: me know. But they get there quick.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 5:06Speaker 1: They're already on the way.
- 5:07Speaker 7: So I'm like, let me take a picture of this
- 5:08Speaker 7: dog and send it to my neighbors to see if
- 5:10Speaker 7: they know.
- 5:11Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Right.
- 5:12Speaker 7: Then I go in the alley where my garage is,
- 5:14Speaker 7: and I see another dog running at me.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Okay. I was like, what the? The dog whisperer.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Did they get loose from the animal control van?
- 5:22Speaker 1: So I'm like, that dog looks familiar. Right.
- 5:25Speaker 7: So then I take a picture of the dog, and
- 5:27Speaker 7: I send it to my neighbors. He's like, hey, it's
- 5:31Speaker 7: my dog.
- 5:32Speaker 6: What?
- 5:33Speaker 1: And I was like, oh. I didn't recognize the dog, really.
- 5:36Speaker 6: Right.
- 5:36Speaker 7: Because I never really see his dogs that much. It's
- 5:39Speaker 7: like a new dog, I guess. So I almost sent
- 5:42Speaker 7: his dog off to animal control.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 5:46Speaker 5: Sheesh.
- 5:47Speaker 7: I call them back, and I was like, hey, don't
- 5:49Speaker 7: tell anybody we're good. Their gate got open, but there
- 5:51Speaker 7: was dogs running.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Oh, my God. Dogs running everywhere.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Oh, just coming to your house?
- 5:55Speaker 4: Yes.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Coming to Uncle Billy's?
- 5:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I am the dog whisperer. Yeah. Oh, they were getting treats.
- 6:00Speaker 1: They were getting fed good. Oh, I didn't know that.
- 6:04Speaker 1: All right, let's kick off the show right now before
- 6:06Speaker 1: Pooh passes out. Oh, I'm good.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Get some water.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Yeah, get some water. Get something. Get some electrolytes.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I have some if you need them.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Yeah, do you need something? Yeah, I'll get something.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Okay. Thanks.
- 6:17Speaker 7: All right, well, make sure you don't stop listening because
- 6:19Speaker 7: we'll keep you up to date on who's how.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Oh, God.
- 6:21Speaker 5: It's Texas Top Stories on the 10s with Billy the
- 6:24Speaker 5: Kid in the Morning.
- 6:24Speaker 6: Only on the new Mix 102.9.
- 6:27Speaker 1: We've got a chance to go to Disneyland coming up next,
- 6:29Speaker 1: so get ready. Get that iHeartRadio app.
- 6:32Speaker 7: This would be so nice to go during the holidays
- 6:35Speaker 7: and take.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Some people with you. We pay for the airfare, the hotel.
- 6:38Speaker 1: We hook it up. We get you in, and so...
- 6:40Speaker 1: Make it happen next. We do it on the 10s
- 6:42Speaker 1: all day. Candace Lopez, what is going on?
- 6:44Speaker 2: Well, our first round of showers is moving into the Metroplex.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Denton already getting rain down to Weatherford. The good news
- 6:50Speaker 2: is there is nothing severe out there, but we are
- 6:53Speaker 2: under a flood watch because of how slow this rain
- 6:55Speaker 2: is moving, actually slowing down. These thunderstorms will just be
- 7:00Speaker 2: moving over the same areas over and over, over the
- 7:02Speaker 2: next 24 hours. Expected to be in DFW about 715
- 7:05Speaker 2: this morning, so.
- 7:08Speaker 2: If you're hitting the road this morning, just a heads up,
- 7:11Speaker 2: we are going to get a break later today before
- 7:13Speaker 2: the next round of heavier rain and that cold front tomorrow.
- 7:15Speaker 2: But there's also some events that are already starting to
- 7:18Speaker 2: be canceled or postponed already. So I know Universal Kids
- 7:22Speaker 2: in Frisco is actually going to be closed today as
- 7:26Speaker 2: our event scheduled at Clyde Warren Park. I think they
- 7:28Speaker 2: had a bunch of things going on, like music, bingo,
- 7:30Speaker 2: all of that's canceled tomorrow. So check your flight status.
- 7:34Speaker 2: If you have travel plans, the weather is definitely going
- 7:36Speaker 2: to impact a lot of things today.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Well, let's just be real. We can't drive in the rain.
- 7:40Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 7:40Speaker 1: But we don't do well.
- 7:41Speaker 2: If you don't have to.
- 7:42Speaker 1: We don't do well down here in the rain. It's fine.
- 7:44Speaker 1: It is what it is.
- 7:45Speaker 7: Out of nowhere, it'll start raining and everybody just goes crazy.
- 7:48Speaker 7: Your hazards come on. People start going nuts. They're in
- 7:51Speaker 7: the far right lane. They're going slow. And I get it.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Yeah, no, for sure. I mean, I've been in rain
- 7:56Speaker 2: where I've just pulled over and got into the gas
- 7:57Speaker 2: station because I can't see anything. You know, it's like
- 8:00Speaker 2: no point in just driving five miles an hour.
- 8:02Speaker 1: It poured at my house yesterday.
- 8:03Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 8:04Speaker 1: For a good like 20 minutes. I mean, just like
- 8:06Speaker 1: a weird kind of rain.
- 8:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Like tropical storm rain.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Yeah. I guess there's a line of wind like right
- 8:12Speaker 2: before the rain starts to come. that you'll see today,
- 8:16Speaker 2: but it's coming.
- 8:17Speaker 1: It's very common when the atmosphere does this. Yeah.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Okay. Good to know. This weather, though, it's really wild
- 8:23Speaker 2: this year. I think Newsweek released a list of foods
- 8:26Speaker 2: that could be more expensive because of El Nino.
- 8:29Speaker 1: What?
- 8:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:30Speaker 2: So they said chocolate, olive oil, coffee, and bread.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Chocolate, olive oil. Coffee and bread. Why those foods? Yeah.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I mean, generally speaking, the American agriculture isn't expected to
- 8:44Speaker 2: be impacted like other parts of the world, but there's
- 8:46Speaker 2: going to be a shorter supply and higher prices.
- 8:48Speaker 4: Come on.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Now I've got to worry about El Nino.
- 8:50Speaker 6: I know.
- 8:51Speaker 2: It's a whole thing.
- 8:51Speaker 7: You can barely afford anything as it is. Everything is
- 8:54Speaker 7: so expensive. Now El Nino and the rain is messing
- 8:56Speaker 7: things up.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure. So just a heads up. I know,
- 9:01Speaker 2: but coffee is coffee. We need it.
- 9:03Speaker 6: Whatever.
- 9:03Speaker 2: We're going to pay it.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Okay.
- 9:04Speaker 2: It doesn't matter.
- 9:05Speaker 1: No, I'm not. I mean, what do you got to
- 9:06Speaker 1: put my coffee on layaway now? All right.
- 9:09Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 9:09Speaker 1: We're surviving.
- 9:11Speaker 2: It is October. So you do have 30 days to
- 9:13Speaker 2: pick a Halloween costume guys. So do you want another
- 9:15Speaker 2: list of the most popular Halloween costumes for this year?
- 9:18Speaker 2: You are.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:19Speaker 2: It's a bonus list morning.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:21Speaker 1: I love it.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Okay. I mean, have you started thinking about Halloween yet?
- 9:25Speaker 1: No.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Your costume?
- 9:26Speaker 1: No, but I already thought about something, though, that annoys me.
- 9:29Speaker 3: What?
- 9:30Speaker 7: Can we just make a rule for Halloween that if
- 9:32Speaker 7: I have to ask you what you are, your costume sucks.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Don't do it. I hate that. It's like, oh, so
- 9:39Speaker 1: what are you supposed to be?
- 9:40Speaker 4: Right.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I want to know.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it should be obvious. It's like telling a joke. Like,
- 9:44Speaker 2: you shouldn't have to explain the joke.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't want to explain the joke. Please, don't
- 9:48Speaker 1: make us explain the costume. Give us the top costumes
- 9:50Speaker 1: people are going to be.
- 9:51Speaker 2: So, Freaky Nikki from Obsession. I feel like there's going
- 9:54Speaker 2: to be a lot of those running around.
- 9:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:57Speaker 2: The Bushes from Bad Bunny Super Bowl performance.
- 9:59Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 10:00Speaker 1: God that's an.
- 10:01Speaker 7: Easy one to pull off see that's what i'm gonna
- 10:03Speaker 7: have to ask you i'm gonna be mad at that
- 10:05Speaker 7: guy what are you oh i'm a bush from bad
- 10:07Speaker 7: bunny super bowl performance almost a year ago yeah come
- 10:10Speaker 7: on that's too long.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Ago it probably would have taken me a second if
- 10:13Speaker 2: i saw one running.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Around to remember not.
- 10:15Speaker 2: That big It was for one day.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Yeah, but a year. OK.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Yeah. Taylor Swift and her friends at the Knicks game.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Remember when they had all those matching shirts with like
- 10:26Speaker 2: Stevie Nicks? Things like that.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Who made this list?
- 10:29Speaker 2: Well, I don't know.
- 10:30Speaker 1: All right.
- 10:31Speaker 2: There's going to be a lot of Dolly Parton costumes.
- 10:33Speaker 1: OK, I'm cool with that. I know who you are.
- 10:36Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 10:36Speaker 1: If I see that, I'm like, oh, you're Dolly Parton. Yeah, exactly.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Just unfortunately passed away. Rest in peace. I get it.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Yeah, and this last one you'll recognize, but it's supposed
- 10:44Speaker 2: to be everywhere. Spider-Man is back. It's a big one
- 10:46Speaker 2: for adults and kids.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Yeah, that one never goes away. Yeah.
- 10:50Speaker 7: I just can't wear the Spider-Man tights. You don't want
- 10:52Speaker 7: to see me in Spider-Man tights.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Try it. Just see what happens.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Why not? I mean, you just don't want to. I'll
- 11:01Speaker 1: be honest. Okay, fine. My butt in Spider-Man costume does
- 11:04Speaker 1: not look good.
- 11:05Speaker 3: It won't.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I am definitely not. What's his name? Tom Hollander?
- 11:08Speaker 3: Tom Hollander.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Tom Hollander.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Hollander?
- 11:11Speaker 1: No, just Holland. Yeah, him too.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Anyways, there you go. Start thinking about your costume before
- 11:18Speaker 2: it's too late.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Maybe you do want to see it. I don't know.
- 11:20Speaker 2: I mean, should we put up a poll online?
- 11:22Speaker 1: Imagine big texts in a Spider-Man.
- 11:26Speaker 2: All right. I'm Candace Lopez. Those are your Texas Topics.
- 11:29Speaker 7: I love that you have us on this morning, so
- 11:31Speaker 7: thank you for that. We got a dirty little secret
- 11:33Speaker 7: at 7.30. I know a little bit about this you
- 11:35Speaker 7: do not want to miss because this guy is ashamed
- 11:38Speaker 7: of who he's related to, and this person is famous.
- 11:41Speaker 6: What?
- 11:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Normally, you would want to brag about somebody that you're
- 11:44Speaker 1: related to that's famous.
- 11:46Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Not this case at all, and I get why. So 7.30,
- 11:49Speaker 1: dirty little secret.
- 11:52Speaker 7: It's Mix 102.9. Ability Kid, Candace Lopez, producer Poo is here.
- 11:55Speaker 7: We got first caller of the day, Hilary Duff. Tickets
- 11:57Speaker 7: up for grabs right now.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Who's this?
- 11:59Speaker 6: Hi, Quinn.
- 12:00Speaker 2: What's going on, man?
- 12:01Speaker 1: Hey, what's going on? Guess what? You're caller number one. Congratulations.
- 12:06Speaker 1: That's what I'm talking about. There you go. Hilary Duff
- 12:11Speaker 1: tickets are all yours. You can sing. Oh, you're going
- 12:13Speaker 1: to sing your little heart out at Hilary Duff.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Mainly did it for my wife.
- 12:19Speaker 4: She's a huge fan.
- 12:20Speaker 2: She's going to love it.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Good.
- 12:22Speaker 1: It's a no judgment zone either way. Hilary Duff has
- 12:25Speaker 1: one of my favorite songs. I mean, I love her.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:30Speaker 1: She's one of my crushes, actually, now.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Nice.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I think Ella's gone, actually. Ella Langley's done.
- 12:34Speaker 4: Oh, wow. Really?
- 12:35Speaker 2: You turned the page?
- 12:36Speaker 4: You can't be doing that.
- 12:37Speaker 3: To Ella, man.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Come on now.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right. Let me smack some sense into myself. Well, hey, man,
- 12:41Speaker 1: we appreciate you listening. Where are you from?
- 12:43Speaker 4: I'm calling out of Sherman right now.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Sherman.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Sherman.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Is it raining up there yet or no?
- 12:48Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. It's pouring down right now.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Is it real? Okay. Well, hey, drive safe, and we
- 12:52Speaker 1: appreciate you listening this morning. Thank you so much.
- 12:54Speaker 3: Yes, sir. Thank you.
- 12:55Speaker 4: All right.
- 12:56Speaker 3: Sherman.
- 12:56Speaker 1: I love Sherman.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Sherman's underrated.
- 12:59Speaker 2: It is.
- 13:00Speaker 1: How many times have you heard somebody say that?
- 13:02Speaker 2: Never, actually.
- 13:03Speaker 1: You're the first. Sherman is underrated.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I used to go there for dance camp.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 13:07Speaker 2: Yeah, and I feel like it smelled like mayonnaise. Was
- 13:10Speaker 2: there a mayonnaise factory there?
- 13:11Speaker 1: What in the world?
- 13:12Speaker 2: Well, that was always the thing is Sherman, Texas smells
- 13:15Speaker 2: like mayonnaise.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Okay, hold on. Candace, you really?
- 13:18Speaker 2: I can't be the only person that thinks that.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Candace, come on.
- 13:21Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 13:21Speaker 1: That's what you. I've been to Sherman a million times.
- 13:23Speaker 2: We all went to dance camp there. Sherman College. Austin College.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Whatever it's called.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Well, maybe it was the college that smelled like mayonnaise.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Maybe so.
- 13:30Speaker 1: So you're spreading a nasty rumor about Sherman. Going through
- 13:33Speaker 1: Sherman smelling like mayonnaise.
- 13:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Is it the people in Sherman?
- 13:36Speaker 3: No.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Just like the air.
- 13:38Speaker 1: The air in Sherman smells like mayonnaise.
- 13:41Speaker 8: That's what everyone always told us.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I've never rolled my windows down in Sherman.
- 13:46Speaker 2: That was always the word back in the day.
- 13:49Speaker 1: I go to Sherman all the time, and I've never
- 13:51Speaker 1: smelled mayonnaise.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Okay.
- 13:52Speaker 1: All right. Hot take. Maybe it's not open.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Now, because this was a long time ago.
- 13:57Speaker 1: I need someone from Sherman to call in in a
- 13:59Speaker 1: minute and tell me if this is any truth.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Was there ever a mayonnaise plant or factory there?
- 14:03Speaker 1: I don't know, but you know how when you go to, like,
- 14:04Speaker 1: have you ever been to Hershey, Pennsylvania?
- 14:06Speaker 2: Yes, I have.
- 14:07Speaker 1: As soon as you get there, the whole city smells
- 14:09Speaker 1: like chocolate.
- 14:10Speaker 2: It's awesome.
- 14:10Speaker 1: It is kind of awesome. It's like, oh, wow, this
- 14:12Speaker 1: city smells like chocolate.
- 14:13Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 14:14Speaker 1: You go to certain other places. So you're saying, Sherman,
- 14:16Speaker 1: you go there.
- 14:17Speaker 2: It did back in the day.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Wow, Hellman's mayonnaise. Yeah. I love it. Okay, all right,
- 14:22Speaker 1: let's do it.
- 14:24Speaker 7: Real or fake news? This place is crazy. All right,
- 14:28Speaker 7: I'm going to give you three stories. You've got to
- 14:29Speaker 7: tell me which one is fake out of the three, okay?
- 14:32Speaker 7: And it's tough because the news is wild. Candice, are
- 14:34Speaker 7: you ready?
- 14:34Speaker 2: I'm ready.
- 14:35Speaker 1: I can tell you're ready. Pooh's ready? I'm ready. Pooh's
- 14:37Speaker 1: still alive, by the way.
- 14:38Speaker 2: He's here.
- 14:39Speaker 1: All right, headline number one.
- 14:42Speaker 7: Study finds that 96% of women with eyelash extensions have
- 14:47Speaker 7: microscopic mites.
- 14:49Speaker 6: Ooh.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Okay.
- 14:51Speaker 1: 96%. Of women with eyelash extensions have microscopic mites.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Okay.
- 14:58Speaker 6: 96%.
- 14:58Speaker 4: Yep.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Headline number two. I like that.
- 15:00Speaker 1: I like that. Headline number three, 79-year-old Walmart greeter fired
- 15:19Speaker 1: after making mom of two cry.
- 15:20Speaker 8: 79-year-old Walmart greeter fired after making mom of two cry.
- 15:30Speaker 1: All right, which one of those is the fake story?
- 15:33Speaker 1: Kind of tough today.
- 15:34Speaker 2: It is.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Kind of tough today.
- 15:35Speaker 2: It's been tough all week.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I know. I'm pretty good at this.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Yeah, you are.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Little game that I made up. Candace Lopez, which one
- 15:41Speaker 1: do you think is fake, or do you want to
- 15:42Speaker 1: pass it to Pooh for the first guess?
- 15:44Speaker 2: No, I want to go first today. Lock me in
- 15:45Speaker 2: for that first story, the Lashmites.
- 15:48Speaker 4: No.
- 15:48Speaker 2: 96% of ladies with eyelash extensions have them, you said?
- 15:51Speaker 1: Do you have eyelash extensions?
- 15:52Speaker 3: No.
- 15:53Speaker 1: I don't know. Pooh, do you have?
- 15:54Speaker 6: No.
- 15:55Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on over there. Not me.
- 15:57Speaker 1: All right. A couple of my exes have. A couple? Yeah.
- 16:00Speaker 1: All of them do. Okay, yeah, they do.
- 16:02Speaker 4: All right.
- 16:03Speaker 1: So which one? You think that's the fake one?
- 16:05Speaker 2: Yeah, lock it in. I'm going with it.
- 16:06Speaker 1: It's officially locked in.
- 16:08Speaker 3: All right.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Producer Pooh, was that the one you were going to
- 16:09Speaker 1: pick or were you going to pick another one for
- 16:11Speaker 1: the fake story?
- 16:11Speaker 8: I was going to pick, yeah, I was going to
- 16:13Speaker 8: pick that one, but that's fine. I'm going to go
- 16:16Speaker 8: with the cone diverting traffic from his house, the second story.
- 16:20Speaker 6: Okay, second story.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Let's go with that one. Let's go with that one.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Let's lock that in. Here we go. Man arrested for
- 16:25Speaker 1: using traffic cones to divert traffic away from his home.
- 16:28Speaker 1: That's just funny to me.
- 16:29Speaker 4: All right.
- 16:30Speaker 1: And the winner today is producer Poole. Wow, is that
- 16:38Speaker 1: two days in a row? Yeah. Yeah. Three times this week, baby.
- 16:42Speaker 1: This man is on fire.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Yeah. Wow. Okay. Good job.
- 16:46Speaker 1: All right, let's get to it. Let's get to the
- 16:47Speaker 1: real stories. Yeah, the fake story was this guy being
- 16:50Speaker 1: arrested for diverting traffic away from his home. But I thought,
- 16:53Speaker 1: what a brilliant way to do things. Yeah.
- 16:55Speaker 7: Sometimes when you like to just like take the traffic
- 16:57Speaker 7: cones and kind of make your own lane or something.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Right.
- 16:59Speaker 1: You know, just so you can do your thing. Now, Candice,
- 17:01Speaker 1: the story you picked is actually real.
- 17:04Speaker 6: What? Yes.
- 17:05Speaker 1: I know.
- 17:06Speaker 2: I just thought that number was too high.
- 17:08Speaker 1: That's what I thought. No, I'm looking at the story
- 17:09Speaker 1: right now. A study finds that 96% of women with
- 17:12Speaker 1: eyelash extensions have microscopic mites.
- 17:16Speaker 6: What?
- 17:16Speaker 7: Researchers examined eyelash samples from 25 women who regularly.
- 17:21Speaker 1: I can't say that word.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Regularly?
- 17:23Speaker 1: Thank you. Get eyelash extensions. They placed them under a
- 17:27Speaker 1: microscope and found... Demodex Folliculorum mites.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Whoa.
- 17:34Speaker 1: I don't know what those are, but they don't sound good.
- 17:36Speaker 3: No.
- 17:36Speaker 7: They were living in the lashes of 24 of the
- 17:39Speaker 7: 25 women. So that's 96%. Microscopic parasites burrowed into the
- 17:45Speaker 7: base of their lash follicles, feeding on dead skin.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Ooh, they nasty. So there you go.
- 17:51Speaker 7: Happy Halloween. That sounds like an absolute nightmare. So researchers
- 17:56Speaker 7: also found that, you know, hey, these are not necessarily
- 17:58Speaker 7: good for your eyes. They notice that your eyes stop
- 18:00Speaker 7: creating certain oils.
- 18:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:02Speaker 1: And so just something to think about.
- 18:04Speaker 4: Right.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Anything unnatural just can't be good for us.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Have you ever had those?
- 18:08Speaker 6: No.
- 18:08Speaker 1: No.
- 18:09Speaker 4: No.
- 18:09Speaker 2: I've had a lash lift, but not lash extensions.
- 18:11Speaker 1: What's a lash lift? Lash lift.
- 18:13Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 18:14Speaker 2: It's basically where they like permanently curl them up so
- 18:16Speaker 2: you don't have to curl them with a curler every day.
- 18:19Speaker 4: Oh.
- 18:19Speaker 6: Yeah. Okay.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Okay.
- 18:20Speaker 2: It's awesome.
- 18:21Speaker 1: I thought that was something else. I thought they lifted
- 18:23Speaker 1: your eyelids.
- 18:24Speaker 2: No, they just curl your lashes up. So you don't
- 18:26Speaker 2: have to do it yourself.
- 18:28Speaker 1: I need a booty lift. It's like a perm for
- 18:30Speaker 1: your eyelashes. Do they do booty lifts?
- 18:31Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Okay, I need one of those.
- 18:32Speaker 4: For sure.
- 18:33Speaker 1: All right, sign me up.
- 18:34Speaker 6: Do it.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Okay, the other story is, I don't know why Boo's
- 18:37Speaker 1: laughing at me. The other story, 79-year-old Walmart greeter fired
- 18:42Speaker 1: after making a mom of two cry.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Oh.
- 18:45Speaker 6: Well, I don't know.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Just wait. Actually, you know what?
- 18:47Speaker 2: They didn't get a sticker or what?
- 18:49Speaker 1: No, I think they should give this guy a promotion.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Okay.
- 18:51Speaker 1: But on his first day, this Walmart greeter, 79 years old,
- 18:55Speaker 1: was rude to a woman who came in. I guess
- 18:58Speaker 1: what happened is she came in with two kids, walks
- 19:00Speaker 1: through the door. He was greeting her. He smiled. He said,
- 19:03Speaker 1: good morning. Welcome to Walmart. Beautiful kids. Are they twins?
- 19:06Speaker 4: Yes.
- 19:08Speaker 7: She looked at him, and this is according to him,
- 19:10Speaker 7: she said, no, one's nine and one's seven, so I
- 19:13Speaker 7: don't know if you're blind or stupid, but they're obviously
- 19:15Speaker 7: not twins.
- 19:18Speaker 1: This is what he replied that got him fired. I'm
- 19:20Speaker 1: not blind or stupid, I'm just kind of surprised someone
- 19:22Speaker 1: slept with you twice. I'm getting yelled at on Instagram
- 19:31Speaker 1: in multiple directions right now.
- 19:32Speaker 6: Oh, wow.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Why?
- 19:34Speaker 7: It's Mix 102.9 at Billy the Kid, Candice Lopez, Producer Pooh.
- 19:38Speaker 7: First of all, I was talking about that real or
- 19:40Speaker 7: fake story about mites in extensions, eyelashes.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Eyelash extensions. I had someone who does eyelash extensions say
- 19:46Speaker 1: it's not true. Oh.
- 19:48Speaker 7: And say that that is a flawed study and they...
- 19:50Speaker 7: didn't use a big enough sample. So maybe that's true.
- 19:52Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Possible, yeah.
- 19:53Speaker 7: I also got to say hi to Carrie who said,
- 19:54Speaker 7: oh my God, I'm about to bleach my eyes. But
- 19:58Speaker 7: then the study said this is people who sent me
- 20:01Speaker 7: the study. This is people, 25 women who wear them
- 20:04Speaker 7: excessively all the time.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Ah, okay.
- 20:07Speaker 1: So maybe that's part of the reason. So I'm just
- 20:09Speaker 1: clearing the air, you know?
- 20:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:10Speaker 1: It's a live show, so don't bleach your eyes. And
- 20:13Speaker 1: it's normal to have mites.
- 20:14Speaker 2: But if they're itchy, check.
- 20:16Speaker 1: If anything's itchy, check.
- 20:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:19Speaker 1: If you're itching, you better check. Right. That could go
- 20:22Speaker 1: for any body part.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Yeah. True story.
- 20:25Speaker 7: By the way, also fun fact for the day, Candice
- 20:27Speaker 7: Lopez made a wild claim that Sherman smells like mayonnaise.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:31Speaker 1: I sent my research team on it.
- 20:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 20:34Speaker 1: And guess what? There's some truth to that.
- 20:36Speaker 2: See?
- 20:37Speaker 1: Apparently....
- 20:39Speaker 7: The random fact of the day, apparently there was a
- 20:43Speaker 7: mayonnaise plant in Sherman.
- 20:44Speaker 2: I told you.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Back in the day. So fun fact of the day.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Yeah. You could smell it when you get close. You'd
- 20:50Speaker 2: be like, oh, we're almost to camp.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Yep. Smells like mayonnaise. Almost there. Yeah.
- 20:53Speaker 3: All right.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:54Speaker 2: We didn't have phones to be looking at our device
- 20:56Speaker 2: to see Nav.
- 20:57Speaker 1: So you were just sniffing stuff.
- 20:59Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Yeah. Rolling down your windows.
- 21:00Speaker 2: We're almost to Austin College.
- 21:01Speaker 1: And sniffing.
- 21:02Speaker 7: And then you Google it, and Sherman is ranked one
- 21:04Speaker 7: of the worst smelling cities in the United States. Which
- 21:07Speaker 7: I didn't even know somebody ranked the worst smelling cities
- 21:09Speaker 7: in Texas.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Maybe that was just in the late 90s.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Okay. Well, either way, I don't think it smells like
- 21:13Speaker 1: mayonnaise now. Good. So, Sherman, you're safe.
- 21:16Speaker 7: Now, we were just talking about this the other day
- 21:17Speaker 7: because we were talking about icks and icks that women
- 21:20Speaker 7: have as far as men.
- 21:22Speaker 1: And the list was insane.
- 21:24Speaker 6: Right.
- 21:24Speaker 7: Like small icks that made you go, ooh, I can't
- 21:27Speaker 7: date this guy anymore because one of them, Candace, just
- 21:29Speaker 7: said the most ridiculous thing was what this girl's broke
- 21:32Speaker 7: up with the guy because what?
- 21:33Speaker 2: He ran with a backpack on him. I mean, running
- 21:37Speaker 2: with a backpack is an ick. It's an ick for anybody.
- 21:40Speaker 1: I got to be honest. Running in general is kind
- 21:42Speaker 1: of an ick if you're not athletic.
- 21:44Speaker 2: You're not wrong.
- 21:45Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Someone who's not athletic, when
- 21:46Speaker 1: you see them run, you're like, ew. Yeah. Why are
- 21:50Speaker 1: your feet moving like that?
- 21:52Speaker 2: No, you're right.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Even people who know how to run, like as far
- 21:55Speaker 1: as joggers, sometimes you'll see someone jogging and you'll be like,
- 21:57Speaker 1: what is going on with this?
- 21:58Speaker 2: Yeah, well, sometimes they go up and down a lot.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Like they're bouncy runners.
- 22:02Speaker 7: Yeah, or their strides are too short. Like I saw
- 22:05Speaker 7: a guy the other day and he was jogging. I'm like,
- 22:06Speaker 7: he's going nowhere.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Right.
- 22:07Speaker 1: He's literally running so hard and he's going nowhere. It's
- 22:11Speaker 1: just like little steps. Weird. Either way. But Candice brought
- 22:15Speaker 1: up a really good point.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Yeah, we never talk about the other way around. What
- 22:19Speaker 2: are men's icks for women?
- 22:21Speaker 1: Which made me start thinking.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Because I'm curious.
- 22:23Speaker 7: Well, and we have a list, so I pulled some
- 22:25Speaker 7: up because I was like, no, I'm curious, too, because,
- 22:28Speaker 7: I mean, I know I have maybe a couple that
- 22:30Speaker 7: have happened to me.
- 22:31Speaker 1: I don't know if Pooh has any. Yeah, probably... Maybe
- 22:35Speaker 1: one or two.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Okay.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Well, I have, let me go through Pooh's first, because
- 22:39Speaker 1: now I'm curious, because he sounded so confident about it.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Right.
- 22:42Speaker 8: What is it that's happened to you as far as
- 22:45Speaker 8: a woman? Like, girls who, like, smack or do, like,
- 22:49Speaker 8: add an extra when they talk. Like, I've dated a
- 22:52Speaker 8: couple girls.
- 22:53Speaker 3: Really?
- 22:53Speaker 1: Who smack?
- 22:54Speaker 8: No, yeah, I've dated a couple girls who smack, don't
- 22:57Speaker 8: know how to eat properly, but I've also dated a
- 22:59Speaker 8: couple girls when they talk about something, they'll be like, yeah,
- 23:01Speaker 8: I went over.
- 23:02Speaker 1: There and Oh, that's giving me a big egg.
- 23:05Speaker 2: So where are we going for dinner?
- 23:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Big bag. Yeah.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Weird.
- 23:11Speaker 1: I can't deal with that. Yeah, I can't deal with that.
- 23:14Speaker 1: I'll get to mine in a second. But here, let
- 23:16Speaker 1: me go through some on this list, which are hysterical.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Are you ready for this?
- 23:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:20Speaker 1: This guy said, she shut my car door too hard. What?
- 23:29Speaker 6: Okay.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Okay.
- 23:31Speaker 1: That's a weird one.
- 23:32Speaker 2: That is.
- 23:33Speaker 7: This guy said, when we made Kraft mac and cheese
- 23:36Speaker 7: one night, she poured the cheese packet into the boiling water.
- 23:40Speaker 6: What?
- 23:42Speaker 3: She got to go.
- 23:43Speaker 6: What?
- 23:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:44Speaker 1: That's a big ick.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Why would you do that?
- 23:46Speaker 1: Who does that?
- 23:47Speaker 2: I don't know anybody who does that.
- 23:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:49Speaker 1: No, that's not how you do it.
- 23:51Speaker 2: No.
- 23:51Speaker 1: This guy said she wouldn't put on a seatbelt.
- 23:54Speaker 6: Oh.
- 23:55Speaker 7: And then said my car was annoying because of the beeping. Well,
- 23:58Speaker 7: that's how it works, lady.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Right. That's weird.
- 24:01Speaker 1: That is weird. I used to know a girl who
- 24:03Speaker 1: hated wearing a seatbelt.
- 24:04Speaker 6: Really?
- 24:05Speaker 1: Yeah, she wouldn't wear it.
- 24:06Speaker 4: Huh.
- 24:06Speaker 1: So she'd do it like behind her.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 24:08Speaker 1: And I was like, why not just put on the seatbelt? Oh,
- 24:11Speaker 1: because we don't believe in seatbelts in my house. What? Oh,
- 24:14Speaker 1: is it a religion?
- 24:14Speaker 4: Huh.
- 24:15Speaker 1: I didn't know. That's odd. We don't practice seatbelts.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Does she want to mess up her outfit or something?
- 24:22Speaker 7: No, you want to know the truth about it? She
- 24:24Speaker 7: had a whole story about how her grandpa almost died
- 24:26Speaker 7: because of a seatbelt.
- 24:27Speaker 4: Oh.
- 24:28Speaker 1: He was trapped in the car and it was on fire.
- 24:30Speaker 4: Oh, wow.
- 24:31Speaker 1: And he couldn't get out. And I'm like, but did
- 24:33Speaker 1: he die? No, he didn't. I'm like, maybe the seatbelt
- 24:37Speaker 1: saved him from going through the window. I don't know.
- 24:40Speaker 2: That's odd trauma.
- 24:41Speaker 1: She was insane. Yeah.
- 24:43Speaker 4: Okay.
- 24:43Speaker 7: This guy says, what? She said, smee, smee. Every time
- 24:48Speaker 7: she got comfortable or excited, I felt like I was
- 24:52Speaker 7: dating a Smurf.
- 24:53Speaker 2: What? Smee, smee.
- 24:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Every time she got excited, she'd say, smee, smee. What?
- 24:59Speaker 2: These are weird eggs. What in the world? Who does that?
- 25:03Speaker 2: Sneeze me.
- 25:04Speaker 3: Okay.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Like, Candace, I got a PSL for you.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Oh, sneeze me.
- 25:08Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 25:09Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 25:10Speaker 1: I don't know. Immediately done. Yeah, it's weird.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Okay.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Okay.
- 25:14Speaker 7: This guy said she had ice cream all over her
- 25:16Speaker 7: fingers after we ate one time.
- 25:19Speaker 1: That didn't bother me. But what bothered me is she
- 25:22Speaker 1: wiped it on her shirt.
- 25:24Speaker 4: Oh.
- 25:25Speaker 1: No home training right there. What the?
- 25:27Speaker 2: Okay, that's a big ick for sure. I mean, anybody
- 25:30Speaker 2: wipes on their shirt.
- 25:31Speaker 1: She was from Sherman.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Oh.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Was she?
- 25:33Speaker 4: No?
- 25:34Speaker 1: Okay. All right. Okay, one more ick. This guy said.
- 25:39Speaker 1: She hated sunsets. Oh. Who hates a sunset?
- 25:44Speaker 2: Nobody.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Who hates a sunset?
- 25:46Speaker 2: Literally nobody.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Okay. I'll tell you my ick. It happened one time,
- 25:50Speaker 1: and I'll never forget it. Okay. I was on a
- 25:52Speaker 1: date with this girl, and I know she's not listening.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Thank God. This was years ago.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Okay.
- 25:57Speaker 1: I was on a date with this girl, and I
- 25:58Speaker 1: thought she was so nice, so sweet, very attractive, professional.
- 26:03Speaker 1: First date, she pulls out. The world's biggest vape. Oh, okay.
- 26:10Speaker 1: I'm not even kidding you. You know, I don't vape.
- 26:13Speaker 1: I don't smoke. I don't know. I'm not going to
- 26:15Speaker 1: judge people who do. It's whatever. Cannon clouds. Some of
- 26:18Speaker 1: them are real little, you know?
- 26:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:20Speaker 1: And it's like, you can't even tell.
- 26:21Speaker 4: I know.
- 26:21Speaker 2: I actually picked the ladies up because I thought it
- 26:23Speaker 2: was her AirPods. She dropped it. It looked like a
- 26:26Speaker 2: thing of AirPods.
- 26:27Speaker 3: It was so tiny.
- 26:28Speaker 1: You picked it up.
- 26:29Speaker 2: I felt so bad, but I was like, uh-oh.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Oh, God, sorry.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Trying to help you. Get your hands off my vape.
- 26:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Anyway. Yeah, no, she whipped this out, and it was like,
- 26:38Speaker 1: I mean, it looked like a weapon.
- 26:41Speaker 6: Oh.
- 26:41Speaker 1: And then I was like, oh, what are we about
- 26:43Speaker 1: to do with this thing? I go, what is this?
- 26:44Speaker 1: She goes, oh, it's my vape. And I was like, oh,
- 26:46Speaker 1: it is? It's huge. She was like, yeah, I know.
- 26:48Speaker 4: What?
- 26:52Speaker 1: And then blew a cloud that you could literally have
- 26:55Speaker 1: gotten lost in.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Wow.
- 26:57Speaker 1: How big was the cloud? Oh, my God. It looked
- 26:59Speaker 1: like it was about to storm. And it was inside.
- 27:02Speaker 1: I was so embarrassed. I was like, I'm never going
- 27:04Speaker 1: to see her again in my life.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Never did. I couldn't even see her through the vape cloth.
- 27:10Speaker 5: It's Texas Top Stories on the 10s with Billy the
- 27:13Speaker 5: Kid in the morning.
- 27:14Speaker 6: Only on the new Mix 102.9.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Got a chance to go to Disneyland.
- 27:18Speaker 7: Coming up next, we do it on the 10s all day.
- 27:19Speaker 7: So make sure you listen. Have that iHeartRadio app ready
- 27:22Speaker 7: to roll and win.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Candace, what's up?
- 27:25Speaker 2: Well, this rain is taking its sweet time. So hopefully
- 27:27Speaker 2: you can get to work or school before it hits
- 27:28Speaker 2: your area. This first round of storms is now moving
- 27:31Speaker 2: into Fort Worth and a line up to Louisville and Frisco.
- 27:35Speaker 2: A flash flood watch is in effect through tomorrow morning.
- 27:38Speaker 2: We're going to have rain most of the morning today,
- 27:39Speaker 2: but only a high of 82. I like that.
- 27:41Speaker 1: I was hoping only for 70s, though.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Well, tomorrow.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Oh, tomorrow. I thought the cold front was coming in last.
- 27:46Speaker 1: I'm so confused.
- 27:47Speaker 2: The cold front's coming in tomorrow. This is just like
- 27:49Speaker 2: the line of storms and showers. I mean, I had
- 27:51Speaker 2: to take an umbrella to the bus stop yesterday to
- 27:53Speaker 2: get my kiddo because it was pouring.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Oh yeah. It was born by me too.
- 27:57Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 27:57Speaker 1: I'm just going to make it crazy for football tomorrow.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Friday night football.
- 28:00Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:01Speaker 2: I have a feeling some schools are probably going to
- 28:03Speaker 2: end up canceling games or rescheduling them, but maybe this
- 28:06Speaker 2: will speed up tomorrow. It's just creeping right now.
- 28:09Speaker 1: I mean, if it's lightning, that's different, but if it's
- 28:10Speaker 1: just rain and play ball.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 28:12Speaker 1: That's what I think.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Guys, DoorDash is expanding their delivery services now to clothing.
- 28:18Speaker 2: So they just partnered with Macy's, Anthropologie, and brands like Vans,
- 28:22Speaker 2: The North Face, and Timberland. So these brands will offer
- 28:25Speaker 2: their products on DoorDash's website. They'll deliver them in as
- 28:29Speaker 2: little as an hour. So Macy's has been using DoorDash
- 28:33Speaker 2: for same-day delivery orders for a while, but this now
- 28:37Speaker 2: means Macy's will put their stuff on DoorDash's website too.
- 28:39Speaker 5: I love it.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Love this.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:42Speaker 1: I will so DoorDash a black t-shirt.
- 28:44Speaker 6: Yeah, you will.
- 28:45Speaker 1: If I don't have something clean, I got to go somewhere.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Oh, what?
- 28:48Speaker 1: I hate going to shop for clothes.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Yeah, the only thing I've DoorDashed that's been like clothing
- 28:52Speaker 2: was a hat. I think Academy does DoorDash. Yeah, it
- 28:57Speaker 2: comes pretty quick. So it's like, why do we need
- 28:59Speaker 2: things from Macy's within an hour? But sometimes it's fun
- 29:02Speaker 2: to just order clothes.
- 29:03Speaker 1: I DoorDashed fake prank cockroaches.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Oh, you DoorDash them?
- 29:08Speaker 1: Yesterday, or the other day. And it got there in
- 29:10Speaker 1: less than two hours.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Wow.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Yeah, because I wanted to prank you. And little did
- 29:13Speaker 1: I know I was going to cause a major argument.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Well, no, those are just like my worst trigger. Like,
- 29:18Speaker 2: y'all pranked me with a giant tarantula before.
- 29:20Speaker 1: I stopped, Candace.
- 29:21Speaker 2: That was different.
- 29:22Speaker 1: I stopped.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Something about them. I just pleased out.
- 29:25Speaker 4: Oh, I know.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Trust me. I heard about it all day. Good. Candace
- 29:27Speaker 1: was so mad at me.
- 29:28Speaker 6: I know.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Oh, they look so real.
- 29:31Speaker 1: I go, it's fake, Candice. Here, hold it. No, put
- 29:33Speaker 1: it away.
- 29:33Speaker 2: No, I literally cannot.
- 29:35Speaker 1: She teachered me yesterday.
- 29:36Speaker 4: I know.
- 29:37Speaker 1: She was like, that makes my blood boil. No, she said.
- 29:39Speaker 1: put it in your pocket, and I don't want to
- 29:41Speaker 1: see it for the rest of the day.
- 29:44Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 29:45Speaker 3: Oh, third grade.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 29:48Speaker 2: We updated you on Diddy yesterday. Remember the four former
- 29:51Speaker 2: inmates reported he had access to a phone in this, like,
- 29:53Speaker 2: lavish lifestyle in prison, getting fancy meals and paying inmates
- 29:57Speaker 2: to do his chores for him? Well, this morning we
- 29:59Speaker 2: were hearing... He has since been sent back to solitary
- 30:02Speaker 2: confinement since this report came out.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Whoa.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Yeah, he was last there in July. I guess he
- 30:08Speaker 2: got into a prison fight and they sent him there,
- 30:11Speaker 2: but he's now back. So no pictures of him on
- 30:13Speaker 2: his phone as of today.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Yeah, well, good.
- 30:17Speaker 7: You know, I've read something about this because the warden, Obviously,
- 30:21Speaker 7: if you're the warden of a prison and this story
- 30:22Speaker 7: gets out, you look like an idiot.
- 30:24Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 30:24Speaker 1: He's getting a massage? Yeah, he's getting a massage. He's
- 30:27Speaker 1: got an iPhone.
- 30:27Speaker 6: What?
- 30:28Speaker 1: The guy's on Instagram. He's scrolling on TikTok. What are
- 30:30Speaker 1: you doing? Yeah, he's got a tablet with all the
- 30:32Speaker 1: movies on it.
- 30:33Speaker 6: It's crazy.
- 30:34Speaker 7: The warden's like, no, this can't happen. Solitary confinement. How
- 30:37Speaker 7: long do you sit in solitary confinement?
- 30:38Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Like 24 hours, usually. At least, right? At least 24 hours.
- 30:42Speaker 1: And it's just a cell with nothing in it? Nothing
- 30:45Speaker 1: in it.
- 30:45Speaker 5: Yep.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Not even a book? You can't even have a book? Nothing.
- 30:48Speaker 8: Nothing.
- 30:48Speaker 1: It's just concrete floor. You got to lay there.
- 30:50Speaker 6: Baby oil?
- 30:51Speaker 1: Nothing.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Wow.
- 30:53Speaker 3: Okay.
- 30:54Speaker 2: All right. There's your update. I'm Candace Lopez. Those are
- 30:57Speaker 2: your Texas Top Stories on Makes 102.9. I can never
- 31:00Speaker 2: go to prison.
- 31:01Speaker 1: No, no. Well, of course, for many reasons.
- 31:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:04Speaker 1: But that would be my worst nightmare.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Solitary confinement.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Is being trapped with my own thoughts.
- 31:09Speaker 4: No.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Oh, my. No, I wouldn't do it. I don't know
- 31:12Speaker 1: what I would do. Just sitting there in a room.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Could you do that?
- 31:15Speaker 2: I think I probably could. Just take deep breaths.
- 31:17Speaker 1: I'd rather be there.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Take a nap. I'm so tired. I'd sleep the 24
- 31:21Speaker 2: hours and be out.
- 31:22Speaker 8: Yeah, I don't want to be around nobody, especially now
- 31:23Speaker 8: that I got a hot dog on my left or
- 31:25Speaker 8: right cheek.
- 31:26Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 31:28Speaker 1: That's right, Pooh does have a hot dog tattoo on
- 31:30Speaker 1: his butt. Imagine going to prison with that. Oh, dude.
- 31:34Speaker 1: You can't go to prison. No, I can't. You see
- 31:37Speaker 1: the new guy?
- 31:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:40Speaker 1: He's got a glizzy on his right cheek. I want
- 31:43Speaker 1: to be his cellmate. Oh, man.
- 31:47Speaker 7: This is cracking me up. These small icks. Because Candace
- 31:49Speaker 7: asked a good question. You said, well, you know, we
- 31:52Speaker 7: know what kind of icks women have for men. But
- 31:54Speaker 7: I always wonder what the men have for women. And
- 31:57Speaker 7: the ones that are coming in as far as little icks,
- 31:59Speaker 7: funny icks are hysterical. Kyle in the Farmer's Branch just
- 32:02Speaker 7: hit me up and he said, I dated this girl
- 32:04Speaker 7: one time.
- 32:05Speaker 1: She was so hot. But then I freaked out the
- 32:07Speaker 1: first time I drove with her because she sat on
- 32:09Speaker 1: a pillow.
- 32:11Speaker 5: Oh.
- 32:11Speaker 6: She cussed.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Oh.
- 32:13Speaker 2: She was little.
- 32:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 32:16Speaker 1: He's like a big ick. Oh, I don't know if
- 32:18Speaker 1: that'd be an ick for me.
- 32:20Speaker 2: That's cute.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Like, you're short, Candace, but you don't.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't need a pillow.
- 32:24Speaker 1: No, you're not that short. No. What are you, 4'8?
- 32:26Speaker 2: No.
- 32:28Speaker 1: No, what are you, 4'9?
- 32:29Speaker 2: I'm 5'2.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Are you really, though?
- 32:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:32Speaker 4: Okay.
- 32:32Speaker 6: All right.
- 32:32Speaker 4: 5'2?
- 32:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 32:33Speaker 1: I don't know about that. All right. We'll see. We've
- 32:37Speaker 1: got the tape measure out here. All right. Dino, good morning.
- 32:41Speaker 1: What's up, man? Hey, what's up, guys?
- 32:43Speaker 7: So you have a small ick that happened to you
- 32:46Speaker 7: with a woman that you were like, oh, no, I
- 32:47Speaker 7: can't do it.
- 32:48Speaker 5: Oh, hell yeah.
- 32:48Speaker 3: I'm laughing my ass this morning on this dating ick.
- 32:51Speaker 3: On a date and saw that she had duck feet.
- 32:53Speaker 1: It's over with.
- 32:57Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 32:59Speaker 1: I don't know. I think it's instinctual.
- 33:04Speaker 3: Like, you know, you just don't want to get pregnant
- 33:06Speaker 3: with that one.
- 33:09Speaker 6: Whoa.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Do you mean they stuck out? Like, Pooh's got duck feet.
- 33:12Speaker 1: They stick out a little bit. No, mine are slew-footed. Yeah.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Slew-footed duck feet, whatever.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Were they, like, square and flat?
- 33:19Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 33:20Speaker 1: That happens.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Oh, really?
- 33:21Speaker 3: No, just turned in, you know, bad legs, bad running.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Oh, turned in. Like, they need an alignment.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Like, send her to Jiffy Lube.
- 33:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Hey, thank you so much for calling. I feel less
- 33:35Speaker 1: crazy now. Hey, thanks for the laugh, guys.
- 33:38Speaker 3: Have a good day.
- 33:38Speaker 1: You too, man. Thanks, Dino. Pooh had a dating ick
- 33:41Speaker 1: one time.
- 33:42Speaker 6: What?
- 33:42Speaker 1: Did he ever tell you about the girl he dated
- 33:44Speaker 1: that he stopped dating because she had a big Adam's apple?
- 33:46Speaker 6: No.
- 33:48Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not even kidding. She had a very
- 33:50Speaker 1: large Adam's apple. It wasn't that big. No, she did. Really?
- 33:55Speaker 1: It was intimidating.
- 33:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:57Speaker 1: No, it was. It kept people second-guessing because they were like,
- 34:01Speaker 1: are you sure, Pooh? No. Like, I look at you, Candace,
- 34:05Speaker 1: I don't see an Adam's apple.
- 34:06Speaker 8: No.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Well, no.
- 34:07Speaker 6: No, hers.
- 34:08Speaker 1: This girl had a very large Adam's apple. Like, when
- 34:10Speaker 1: she swallowed a drink, she swallowed a drink. Oh, yeah,
- 34:12Speaker 1: you could see it move.
- 34:14Speaker 2: Oh, she can't help it, though.
- 34:15Speaker 1: No, she can't. No, poor thing. I mean, it was big, though.
- 34:18Speaker 7: I don't know if there's surgery you could get for it,
- 34:20Speaker 7: but it was large. It was larger than his. I
- 34:25Speaker 7: hate a girl with a bigger Adam's apple than you.
- 34:27Speaker 4: Oh, God.
- 34:28Speaker 1: I mean, one of our friends was like, are we sure?
- 34:31Speaker 6: Yeah, I know.
- 34:31Speaker 1: Everybody would question me, you know. They were like, no.
- 34:35Speaker 1: And I was like, no, I saw her baby pictures.
- 34:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 34:37Speaker 1: And even in her baby pictures, she had a big apple.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Oh, poor thing.
- 34:43Speaker 5: Get it off your chest. It's Dirty Little Secret with
- 34:46Speaker 5: Billy the Kid in the Morning on Mix 102.9.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Brought to you by Mint Dentistry. All right, hopefully you're
- 34:51Speaker 1: having a good morning. Be safe in this rain because
- 34:53Speaker 1: this rain is just really sitting down on top of
- 34:55Speaker 1: us in certain areas now, and it's really, really nasty.
- 34:59Speaker 1: I mean, 35 literally looks like it has waves.
- 35:02Speaker 2: For sure.
- 35:02Speaker 1: In Denton. So just be safe. Be careful. A lot
- 35:04Speaker 1: of people stay at home. If you can work from home,
- 35:06Speaker 1: why not?
- 35:07Speaker 2: Yeah, do it.
- 35:07Speaker 1: So, all right, just be careful.
- 35:09Speaker 7: We're going to get this wave, Candace, and it looks
- 35:11Speaker 7: like it slows down, and then we get another wave?
- 35:13Speaker 2: Yeah, tomorrow.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Okay. Oh, tomorrow.
- 35:15Speaker 2: Yeah, well, we're going to break this afternoon.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Okay, gotcha.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Before the next one comes.
- 35:19Speaker 6: All right.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Either way, Dirty Little Secret. Also, too, remember we had
- 35:21Speaker 1: a Dirty Little Secret the other day about this woman
- 35:23Speaker 1: who smelled everything?
- 35:24Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Was that earlier this week?
- 35:26Speaker 2: Yeah, she was smelling silver. It was like Tuesday, smelling
- 35:28Speaker 2: silverware and stuff.
- 35:29Speaker 1: You know how many people have DM'd me and said that, no,
- 35:32Speaker 1: I get it. I totally relate.
- 35:34Speaker 3: Huh.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Totally relate to sniffing everything.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Yeah, someone said she should work in the wine industry
- 35:39Speaker 2: or something.
- 35:40Speaker 4: Yes.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Crush it.
- 35:41Speaker 7: That's what somebody messaged me and said. People with very
- 35:44Speaker 7: good senses of smell can make... So much money in
- 35:48Speaker 7: the wine industry.
- 35:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:49Speaker 7: So I'm like, I got to tell her that because
- 35:51Speaker 7: I'm out here. I don't think my sense of smell
- 35:53Speaker 7: is that good.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Yours is. Oh, yeah.
- 35:55Speaker 2: It's just very sensitive.
- 35:56Speaker 1: I do smell that Poo is wearing a new cologne today.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I did too.
- 36:00Speaker 1: I noticed that.
- 36:01Speaker 4: Me?
- 36:01Speaker 2: Yes.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Oh, I have a cologne on. There's no way. I
- 36:04Speaker 1: don't have anything.
- 36:06Speaker 2: Some fragrance.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Oh, the lotion. I stole some lotion over there. I
- 36:10Speaker 1: sniffed you, and I'm like, he smells very flowery. Yeah,
- 36:14Speaker 1: it's old girl's lotion.
- 36:15Speaker 3: Come here.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Let me sniff you one more time. You want to
- 36:17Speaker 1: smell me? You want to smell him, Candace?
- 36:19Speaker 6: No.
- 36:20Speaker 4: No.
- 36:21Speaker 1: No.
- 36:22Speaker 3: Okay.
- 36:23Speaker 1: It's lotion. It's lotion. I don't have any cologne on
- 36:26Speaker 1: because Candace won't let us.
- 36:27Speaker 4: Who is she?
- 36:28Speaker 1: What's her name? The girl that works here is in promotion.
- 36:31Speaker 1: You just stole her lotion?
- 36:32Speaker 8: I mean, she got it on the top, and I
- 36:34Speaker 8: was a little ashy, so I was just like, yeah,
- 36:35Speaker 8: let me borrow a little.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Not sure you should do that.
- 36:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 36:38Speaker 2: There's lotion over here Veronica brought you.
- 36:40Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 36:41Speaker 1: No, I took that home.
- 36:42Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 36:43Speaker 1: All right. Well, either way, dirty little secret, 833-787-1029. That
- 36:45Speaker 1: was supposed to be studio lotion. Yeah, that's not your
- 36:49Speaker 1: lotion to take home. She gave me that and some powder.
- 36:53Speaker 1: I thought that was for me. No, that was for
- 36:56Speaker 1: all of us. Oh, okay. Okay, either way. If you
- 36:59Speaker 1: get a secret, let us know. This is a very
- 37:02Speaker 1: interesting one.
- 37:02Speaker 7: I know a little bit about it because I had
- 37:04Speaker 7: to do some research because it's different.
- 37:06Speaker 1: So you have a secret. Right.
- 37:08Speaker 3: So I have a secret. I've never told any of
- 37:11Speaker 3: my friends, and I haven't even told my wife. Okay.
- 37:15Speaker 3: I'm related to David Duke.
- 37:18Speaker 1: David, wait.
- 37:19Speaker 6: Who?
- 37:19Speaker 1: The KKK dude. OK, I was wondering if you were
- 37:21Speaker 1: going to know who it was.
- 37:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:23Speaker 1: So what? Yeah. So you're related to David Duke, who
- 37:27Speaker 1: is not not a good guy. Big time. Right. Obviously,
- 37:32Speaker 1: a big part of American history. I because I had
- 37:34Speaker 1: to do my research. I'm like, that name sounds so familiar. So. Right.
- 37:38Speaker 1: How did you find this out? All that good stuff.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Well, I'm not exactly going to say how I'm related
- 37:44Speaker 3: because that would give away too much about who I am.
- 37:47Speaker 3: But it's a close enough family connection that my parents
- 37:51Speaker 3: actually sat me down when I got older and told
- 37:54Speaker 3: me about it. And they didn't want me finding out
- 37:57Speaker 3: from somebody else someday and being completely blindsided.
- 38:01Speaker 4: So.
- 38:02Speaker 7: So your parents remember your parents are not they're not
- 38:05Speaker 7: proud of it either. It's not something they're like, hey, right.
- 38:09Speaker 3: No, they're not necessarily proud of it either. I mean, honestly,
- 38:14Speaker 3: I just remember, you know, feeling sick when they told me.
- 38:18Speaker 3: I mean, knowing that I share blood with some, you know,
- 38:21Speaker 3: who became so well known for racism and his involvement
- 38:25Speaker 3: with the Ku Klux Klan is honestly embarrassing to me,
- 38:28Speaker 3: you know.
- 38:28Speaker 2: No.
- 38:29Speaker 1: Yeah. He tried to run for like president back in
- 38:32Speaker 1: the day. He did. Yeah. Vice president.
- 38:33Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Back in the day. Yeah.
- 38:35Speaker 3: Okay.
- 38:35Speaker 1: Yeah. I didn't know that. So, yeah.
- 38:39Speaker 3: And it's just, it's just such an ugly part of history. And,
- 38:42Speaker 3: I hate knowing that about my family and that they
- 38:44Speaker 3: have any connection to it. But it's actually, you know,
- 38:49Speaker 3: part of the reason I moved to Dallas from Louisiana
- 38:51Speaker 3: was I wanted a fresh start somewhere. You know, nobody
- 38:55Speaker 3: kind of knew my family or could possibly connect me
- 38:58Speaker 3: to him. And I never wanted to be known as
- 39:01Speaker 3: David Duke's relative, you know.
- 39:03Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, obviously, because you can tell you're not
- 39:06Speaker 1: that kind of person who, you know, obviously judges people
- 39:09Speaker 1: and is racist. Doesn't sound like so. You don't want
- 39:11Speaker 1: to be anything close to that.
- 39:12Speaker 3: Well, right. I mean, that's the crazy thing. I couldn't
- 39:16Speaker 3: be more opposite. You know, I mean, I can't stand racism.
- 39:19Speaker 3: You know, I don't understand judging somebody, you know, because
- 39:22Speaker 3: of the color of their skin or their ethnicity or
- 39:24Speaker 3: religion or anything like that.
- 39:26Speaker 1: You know? Good.
- 39:28Speaker 3: And, uh, you know, my, my parents were the same
- 39:30Speaker 3: way and, you know, growing up, you know, they constantly,
- 39:34Speaker 3: you know, preach to me that everybody's created equal and,
- 39:37Speaker 3: and you judge people by who they are and how
- 39:40Speaker 3: they treat others.
- 39:41Speaker 4: Right.
- 39:41Speaker 3: And looking back, I sometimes wonder if they went, you know,
- 39:44Speaker 3: kind of over-the-top teaching me because they knew, you know,
- 39:48Speaker 3: that there was this really dark connection in our family. But,
- 39:51Speaker 3: you know, I'm proud of the person that they raised
- 39:54Speaker 3: me to be, and I'm just not proud of everyone
- 39:58Speaker 3: I happen to be related to.
- 39:59Speaker 1: No, that makes sense. You never really think about that
- 40:02Speaker 1: kind of stuff when you think about, you know, these
- 40:04Speaker 1: people who are figures in whatever, you know, that have controversial–
- 40:09Speaker 1: views or opinions.
- 40:10Speaker 7: You don't think about their family and the effect that
- 40:13Speaker 7: it has on a family who might be related to
- 40:15Speaker 7: them and you're coming from like a small town or
- 40:16Speaker 7: whatever that everybody knows.
- 40:18Speaker 2: It seems like when they're gone, it's done. It's over,
- 40:20Speaker 2: which is good.
- 40:21Speaker 1: And I had to Google this guy because this guy's
- 40:23Speaker 1: still alive. He's a known racist.
- 40:26Speaker 8: My dad and my grandparents, everybody taught me about him
- 40:30Speaker 8: when I was like younger.
- 40:32Speaker 1: That's so, yeah. I just can't imagine.
- 40:34Speaker 8: On TV, like in the 80s, late 80s, he was
- 40:37Speaker 8: still trying to run for public office.
- 40:39Speaker 7: Good for you for, for changing the, I guess the,
- 40:43Speaker 7: you know, whatever the path in life. Cause there's some,
- 40:45Speaker 7: there's some people that don't unfortunately, and it just keeps
- 40:48Speaker 7: going and it goes and goes and it doesn't stop.
- 40:50Speaker 7: So good for you for breaking a cycle that obviously
- 40:53Speaker 7: is not something you're proud of, but it also doesn't
- 40:55Speaker 7: define who you are.
- 40:56Speaker 1: So you do your own thing and you lead your
- 40:57Speaker 1: own life. And because that happens to be a connection
- 41:01Speaker 1: doesn't mean it's who you are.
- 41:02Speaker 3: Right, right. No, exactly. And I just want people to know,
- 41:06Speaker 3: you know, that, uh, You know, regardless of who we
- 41:09Speaker 3: are and where we come from, you know, it's about
- 41:11Speaker 3: what we do and how we treat people, you know? Amen.
- 41:14Speaker 1: That, you know what? Perfect way to leave it. Right there.
- 41:18Speaker 7: That is one thing that I think I'm so proud
- 41:20Speaker 7: of when I think of, you know, our show and
- 41:23Speaker 7: the way we do things is when we did the
- 41:26Speaker 7: Corny Dog Walk, for example.
- 41:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:28Speaker 1: I don't really pay attention to people's race.
- 41:31Speaker 2: No.
- 41:32Speaker 1: It's not a part of what I do. But when
- 41:35Speaker 1: you see all the different types of people... who listen,
- 41:39Speaker 1: that is something that makes me so happy. Yes.
- 41:42Speaker 7: Because I don't, I don't, we don't target someone. We
- 41:45Speaker 7: don't have, you know, in this business, they'll be like, well,
- 41:47Speaker 7: here's your demographic, whatever.
- 41:49Speaker 2: I don't care about that.
- 41:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 41:51Speaker 1: Do you listen? Are you a human?
- 41:54Speaker 7: Do you want to laugh and have a decent time
- 41:56Speaker 7: and not be judged by the color of your skin
- 41:58Speaker 7: or where you're from or who you are.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Or how much money you make? Then we're your people.
- 42:03Speaker 2: For sure.
- 42:04Speaker 1: Because we don't do that. So that's something I've always
- 42:06Speaker 1: been proud of. And you'll notice people from all over
- 42:08Speaker 1: the place that look completely different.
- 42:12Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 42:12Speaker 1: And that is exactly what I think. Is the way
- 42:15Speaker 1: it should be.
- 42:16Speaker 2: For sure.
- 42:17Speaker 1: So, all right. Thank you, sir. I appreciate it. Dirty
- 42:19Speaker 1: Little Secret.
- 42:20Speaker 2: Wow. It's interesting.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Yeah, it just sucks that people have to be like that.
- 42:23Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 42:24Speaker 1: In any time. But especially, we're still talking about this
- 42:27Speaker 1: in 2026? Unfortunately, we are, yeah.
- 42:29Speaker 4: Yes.
- 42:30Speaker 1: It's sickening to me.
- 42:31Speaker 6: It is.
- 42:35Speaker 5: It's time for Candace Court. It gets settled here with
- 42:39Speaker 5: Billy the Kid.
- 42:40Speaker 4: In the morning.
- 42:41Speaker 7: All rise for the honorable judge, Candace Lopez. Here she
- 42:45Speaker 7: is in her green hoodie today.
- 42:47Speaker 1: It is hoodie weather. It's actually not hoodie weather. It's
- 42:49Speaker 1: still warm.
- 42:50Speaker 2: It's getting there.
- 42:51Speaker 1: At least it's raining. If you look outside, it looks
- 42:53Speaker 1: like hoodie weather.
- 42:53Speaker 2: It's October. I'm tired of shorts and T-shirts.
- 42:56Speaker 4: I know.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Same. Either way, be safe in this rain. This rain
- 42:59Speaker 1: is going to stick around pretty much all day.
- 43:00Speaker 7: It's Mix 102.9, appealing to kid, Candace Lopez, producer Pooh,
- 43:04Speaker 7: Bela Pooh right now because this is Candace Court.
- 43:06Speaker 1: Are you ready, Candace?
- 43:08Speaker 7: The subject of this was awesome on this message I got.
- 43:11Speaker 7: It said, my sister sucks.
- 43:12Speaker 4: Oh.
- 43:13Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, okay. What's going on?
- 43:15Speaker 7: I went for Candace Court because my sister and I
- 43:17Speaker 7: are currently not speaking and I need to know if
- 43:19Speaker 7: I'm overreacting. My sister just went through a pretty nasty
- 43:22Speaker 7: divorce and has been struggling financially trying to get back
- 43:25Speaker 7: on her feet.
- 43:26Speaker 1: My husband and I do pretty well, and she knows that.
- 43:29Speaker 1: So a few weeks ago, she asked me if she
- 43:31Speaker 1: could borrow $ 5, 000 and promised she'd pay me back. That's
- 43:37Speaker 1: a lot of money.
- 43:38Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 43:39Speaker 1: I was hesitant, and my husband definitely wasn't thrilled about it.
- 43:41Speaker 1: But at the end of the day, family helps family.
- 43:44Speaker 1: So we gave her the money. All caps. Two weeks later.
- 43:50Speaker 1: I'm scrolling through Instagram and guess who's posting pictures from Mexico?
- 43:54Speaker 1: My sister. I immediately texted her like, are you serious
- 43:59Speaker 1: right now? You just brought $ 5, 000 for me and you're
- 44:03Speaker 1: on a vacation in Mexico? She tells me it was
- 44:06Speaker 1: a last minute trip with this new guy that she's
- 44:07Speaker 1: dating and that he paid for everything. Sorry, but I
- 44:12Speaker 1: don't care. If you owe somebody $ 5, 000, you're supposedly in
- 44:17Speaker 1: a financial crisis. I don't think you should be taking
- 44:19Speaker 1: luxurious vacations whether you paid for it or not. Oh,
- 44:23Speaker 1: come on. It's just disrespectful. Now we're not speaking because
- 44:27Speaker 1: I told her I want my money back ASAP.
- 44:30Speaker 4: Oh.
- 44:30Speaker 1: And she thinks I'm being ridiculous because technically she didn't.
- 44:34Speaker 7: Spend any of my money on the trip. So, Candace,
- 44:37Speaker 7: who's wrong here? Am I overreacting or is this not
- 44:40Speaker 7: tacky as hell?
- 44:41Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 44:42Speaker 7: All right, Candace Court. Sister Biles' five grand goes on
- 44:45Speaker 7: a vacation in Mexico, starts snapping.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Pics of it.
- 44:48Speaker 2: That's what set you off is you saw this on
- 44:50Speaker 2: social media and on social media, everything looks so luxurious
- 44:54Speaker 2: and perfect. The timing is definitely sus for sure. But look,
- 44:59Speaker 2: if he paid, he paid. He, what if he used
- 45:02Speaker 2: his miles? Who knows? Like what kind of situation is going?
- 45:05Speaker 2: It's not a good look. No, that's for sure.
- 45:07Speaker 7: And listen, I don't care what anybody says. First of all,
- 45:10Speaker 7: I don't think she's telling the truth.
- 45:11Speaker 6: Okay.
- 45:12Speaker 7: That's just my gut. My gut tells me she's not
- 45:15Speaker 7: telling the truth. I think this guy might've paid for
- 45:17Speaker 7: the flights. But I don't think he's paying for everything.
- 45:20Speaker 7: And the bottom line is when you go on a
- 45:21Speaker 7: trip and you know.
- 45:22Speaker 1: As well as I do, you prepare. Guess what you
- 45:25Speaker 1: have to do to prepare? You spend money.
- 45:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:28Speaker 7: You spend money for new fits, new bikinis, new this,
- 45:32Speaker 7: new that, new luggage. It's expensive to go on a trip.
- 45:34Speaker 2: You do, but we don't know that she did that.
- 45:36Speaker 1: I know she did. I think it's pretty much a
- 45:38Speaker 1: fact at this point.
- 45:38Speaker 2: Maybe she got her toes done.
- 45:39Speaker 7: I've never met a woman who has been preparing for
- 45:43Speaker 7: a trip that hasn't spent money.
- 45:45Speaker 2: No, you're right on that.
- 45:46Speaker 1: She's getting her toes done.
- 45:48Speaker 2: Right, but maybe this financial crisis was like, I need
- 45:51Speaker 2: this to pay off.
- 45:52Speaker 1: She's in a mental crisis.
- 45:53Speaker 8: She probably has some major bills she's probably paying off.
- 45:57Speaker 8: And again, she's a girl. The dude is going to
- 46:00Speaker 8: pay for everything. Most dudes usually pay for the trip
- 46:04Speaker 8: and all that.
- 46:05Speaker 1: No, they first of all, no, they don't. Second of all,
- 46:08Speaker 1: why do you assume every woman needs to get they
- 46:10Speaker 1: have money? You don't assume that women don't have money.
- 46:13Speaker 1: I know women have money, but a lot of guys
- 46:15Speaker 1: out there.
- 46:16Speaker 8: That have a lot of money, hey, girl, let me
- 46:19Speaker 8: take you to Tulum or Cancun or whatever.
- 46:21Speaker 1: No, but I'm not arguing that. I think he paid
- 46:23Speaker 1: for the trip.
- 46:24Speaker 7: I think she spent probably a significant amount of money
- 46:26Speaker 7: leading up to the trip, and she's probably spending some
- 46:28Speaker 7: money on the trip.
- 46:29Speaker 1: It's possible. No, it is.
- 46:31Speaker 7: And I just don't think you would do that. If
- 46:32Speaker 7: you're really in a financial crisis, I don't have any
- 46:35Speaker 7: extra money to do anything else. So this trip sounds fun,
- 46:39Speaker 7: but no, I just think, or maybe I would call
- 46:42Speaker 7: my sister and be like, hey, So here's the deal.
- 46:44Speaker 7: I don't want to blindside you if you see me
- 46:45Speaker 7: in Mexico. So I would have I would handle it better.
- 46:48Speaker 7: It does feel disrespectful.
- 46:49Speaker 2: I mean, if she's dating this new guy, he's paying
- 46:51Speaker 2: for stuff. Maybe he'll pay the debt off to help
- 46:54Speaker 2: her with her other stuff and she can pay you back.
- 46:56Speaker 1: So I got to block my blessing. I got to
- 46:58Speaker 1: call you and block my blessing. Yeah, I got it.
- 47:01Speaker 8: I got to call and tell you, hey, I'm about
- 47:03Speaker 8: to go out of town with this guy. I just
- 47:06Speaker 8: don't want you to trip.
- 47:07Speaker 7: You just took my $ 5, 000 and I see you in Mexico?
- 47:10Speaker 7: I think it's common courtesy. It's not some random situation.
- 47:12Speaker 2: But did y'all discuss how long it was going to
- 47:14Speaker 2: take to pay this back?
- 47:15Speaker 6: Exactly.
- 47:15Speaker 2: Because it's only been a few weeks. Give her some time.
- 47:17Speaker 2: I got a friend who still owes me $ 5, 000 from
- 47:21Speaker 2: years ago. Well, I sold him a car.
- 47:22Speaker 1: Years ago?
- 47:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I sold him a car.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Take him to Candace Court.
- 47:27Speaker 2: He paid me three of the eight that I was
- 47:29Speaker 2: selling the car for.
- 47:30Speaker 1: How many years ago?
- 47:31Speaker 2: I don't know, like five years ago.
- 47:33Speaker 6: Oh, no.
- 47:33Speaker 2: But it's coming. I know it's coming when he sells
- 47:35Speaker 2: his house. It's all good. He's like family friend.
- 47:38Speaker 1: Okay, well. So. Is he posting luxurious vacations?
- 47:41Speaker 4: No.
- 47:42Speaker 2: He's not posting luxurious vacations.
- 47:44Speaker 1: Well, is he posting that he's got all this and that?
- 47:46Speaker 1: I just bought this or any kind of financial flex?
- 47:48Speaker 2: No, he's not.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Then I'm not mad at him.
- 47:51Speaker 2: That helps. I mean, be happy for her.
- 47:53Speaker 1: I'm not going to be happy for her.
- 47:56Speaker 2: She's moving on, you know?
- 47:57Speaker 1: She's probably at home all depressed. Please, sis, help me out.
- 48:01Speaker 1: I love the booze acting like, oh, this is funny. Yeah,
- 48:03Speaker 1: I'm behind on my bills. Go on and spot your girl.
- 48:05Speaker 1: I got you. Five grand is too much. That's a
- 48:07Speaker 1: lot of money.
- 48:08Speaker 6: It is.
- 48:09Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 48:09Speaker 7: I know she spent some of it to go on
- 48:11Speaker 7: this vacation. And I just think it's at least something
- 48:14Speaker 7: you should say to her. It's your sister. Tell her, hey,
- 48:16Speaker 7: it's going to look bad, sis. I'm going on this vacation, girl.
- 48:19Speaker 1: I need it. I need this. Don't get worried. I'm
- 48:23Speaker 1: still going to pay you back.
- 48:24Speaker 2: Well, you need to figure out where the money was
- 48:26Speaker 2: being spent, where the financial crisis was. Did you have
- 48:29Speaker 2: bills that were due immediately? Did you have a deposit
- 48:31Speaker 2: on a new place you needed?
- 48:32Speaker 1: Car payment, something.
- 48:34Speaker 2: Attorney fees, I don't know.
- 48:35Speaker 1: If you bought $ 5, 000 from me, I'm invested in what
- 48:37Speaker 1: you're doing financially. You're a partner?
- 48:41Speaker 6: Yes.
- 48:43Speaker 1: We are partners in life. Candace Lopez, your verdict. Go ahead.
- 48:47Speaker 2: Look, I think your sister's being a mean girl male.
- 48:50Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 48:52Speaker 2: Talk to each other.
- 48:53Speaker 3: Communicate.
- 48:54Speaker 2: Let me know what the financial crisis was so that
- 48:56Speaker 2: I can put these puzzle pieces together and not be
- 48:58Speaker 2: out here hating on you.
- 49:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know if I agree with this judgment,
- 49:02Speaker 1: but she is guilty, apparently. Okay.
- 49:04Speaker 2: Yeah, she's being a mean girl, Mel.
- 49:05Speaker 1: She is guilty of being a mean girl, Mel.
- 49:08Speaker 2: Yeah, that's mean. She's going through a divorce.
- 49:10Speaker 1: I think she's guilty. No, I bet you can't say
- 49:12Speaker 1: what I think she's guilty.
- 49:15Speaker 6: Of.
- 49:15Speaker 1: Gold digging Gina. That's what I think. Candace Gordon-Jones. chance
- 49:20Speaker 1: at this Disneyland trip coming up next.
- 49:22Speaker 5: It's Texas Top Stories on the 10s with Billy the
- 49:25Speaker 5: Kid in the Morning.
- 49:26Speaker 6: Only on the new Mix 102.9.
- 49:28Speaker 1: Candice Lopez, you know what I miss?
- 49:31Speaker 3: What?
- 49:31Speaker 1: I miss the heat and sun. No, you don't. No,
- 49:34Speaker 1: you don't.
- 49:35Speaker 2: This is wild right now, though, for sure.
- 49:37Speaker 1: It's been about a couple, I don't know, an hour
- 49:39Speaker 1: of this rain. I'm kind of over it.
- 49:41Speaker 4: No.
- 49:41Speaker 2: No, it's just getting started.
- 49:42Speaker 6: I'm kidding.
- 49:43Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 49:44Speaker 2: Guys, more than 150 flights have now been canceled at
- 49:48Speaker 2: DFW Airport because of this heavy rain moving through the
- 49:50Speaker 2: metro plague. So it's just moving so slow from west
- 49:53Speaker 2: to east, about 18 miles per hour. We do have
- 49:56Speaker 2: a flash flood warning now for Dallas, Denton and Tarrant
- 49:59Speaker 2: counties until about 1030 this morning. These areas could see
- 50:03Speaker 2: two to three inches of rain. We were talking about
- 50:06Speaker 2: that flooding you're seeing on southbound I-35E and Denton with
- 50:09Speaker 2: these storms. But yeah, events are getting canceled. Universal Kids
- 50:14Speaker 2: in Frisco closed. I mean, who would be trying to
- 50:16Speaker 2: go out there in this?
- 50:17Speaker 1: Well, I don't know. So like sometimes I like to
- 50:20Speaker 1: go out in the rain. You do?
- 50:21Speaker 7: Because I like the rain, A, and B, less crowds.
- 50:23Speaker 7: Like today would be a day I would want to
- 50:25Speaker 7: go to the State Fair of Texas.
- 50:26Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, they're TBD, by the way, during all
- 50:29Speaker 2: of this weather that's coming through today and tomorrow. So
- 50:31Speaker 2: if you're planning to go, yeah, pay attention to maybe
- 50:34Speaker 2: their social media or whatever. I'll try to let you
- 50:35Speaker 2: know if I see anything.
- 50:36Speaker 1: Like if there's a break in the rain, that's the
- 50:38Speaker 1: day I would want to go to the fair.
- 50:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, maybe this afternoon, this evening, it might
- 50:42Speaker 2: be a good option.
- 50:43Speaker 1: But this is, if poo were a storm, it would
- 50:46Speaker 1: be this storm. Why is that? Just slow.
- 50:48Speaker 3: Oh.
- 50:50Speaker 1: It's just moving slow. Creeping.
- 50:54Speaker 2: It is, yeah. It'll be here for the next few hours.
- 50:57Speaker 2: Then we'll get a break before more rain moves in
- 50:59Speaker 2: later tomorrow, I guess. Guys, there's a new movement trying
- 51:03Speaker 2: to get restaurants to start doing a no-phone section like
- 51:07Speaker 2: a modern no-smoking section. So some restaurants and bars have
- 51:11Speaker 2: already started asking people to put their phone into those
- 51:14Speaker 2: lockable pouches when they arrive.
- 51:16Speaker 1: Weird.
- 51:17Speaker 2: Immediately now well some of them are starting to give
- 51:19Speaker 2: perks if you put your phone away like we'll give
- 51:21Speaker 2: you a free bottle of wine or like some chick-fil-a
- 51:24Speaker 2: locations it'll give you free ice cream for it.
- 51:26Speaker 1: Free ice cream anyway pretty much you could trade the
- 51:29Speaker 1: toy in for ice cream you can yeah the kid
- 51:32Speaker 1: you don't know that no i never knew that until
- 51:34Speaker 1: billy told.
- 51:34Speaker 7: Me come on if you get the kids meal and
- 51:36Speaker 7: you don't want the toy you could trade the toy
- 51:37Speaker 7: in for an ice cream.
- 51:39Speaker 1: I never knew that I do it every time.
- 51:41Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 51:42Speaker 1: Forget that toy. Give me that ice cream. Yeah. It's
- 51:45Speaker 1: a good ice cream, too. I'm not putting my phone away.
- 51:47Speaker 2: No, I'm not doing it for free ice cream. I
- 51:50Speaker 2: can't eat your ice cream anyways.
- 51:51Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, unless I guess I have everybody that I
- 51:53Speaker 1: need in one spot.
- 51:55Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 51:55Speaker 1: But like, what if somebody calls me and there's an emergency?
- 51:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:58Speaker 1: Doesn't mean I have to be on it the entire time,
- 52:00Speaker 1: but I don't want to lock my phone up.
- 52:01Speaker 2: No, no. Guys, real quick, of course, October 1st is here.
- 52:05Speaker 2: You have 30 days to pick a Halloween costume. So
- 52:08Speaker 2: let me tell you what are expected to be some
- 52:09Speaker 2: of the most popular costumes this year. Freaky Nikki from Obsession.
- 52:15Speaker 1: Okay, yeah.
- 52:16Speaker 2: That'll be everywhere, I'm sure.
- 52:18Speaker 3: Of course.
- 52:19Speaker 2: This one's funny. The Bushes from Bad Bunny Super Bowl performance.
- 52:22Speaker 7: No, it's been too long since the Super Bowl. Nobody's
- 52:24Speaker 7: going to understand that. They're not going to get it.
- 52:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I told you this earlier, and I think you're right,
- 52:28Speaker 2: because if I just saw Bushes going by, it would
- 52:30Speaker 2: take me a second to be like, why was that
- 52:32Speaker 2: a thing? What does that mean?
- 52:34Speaker 1: And my rule is if I have to ask you
- 52:35Speaker 1: what you are, I already hate your costume.
- 52:37Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure. Apparently there's going to be a lot
- 52:40Speaker 2: of Taylor Swift girl groups going around with their Knicks t-shirts,
- 52:43Speaker 2: those custom shirts like Stevie Knicks that they made during
- 52:45Speaker 2: the NBA finals.
- 52:46Speaker 1: There's going to be a lot of Travis Kelce's and
- 52:48Speaker 1: Taylor Swift's again this year too.
- 52:49Speaker 2: Yes, again, but now they're married version. Yeah, Dolly Parton
- 52:54Speaker 2: is expected to be a big costume this year.
- 52:56Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that makes sense.
- 52:57Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure. And then Spider-Man.
- 52:58Speaker 1: Spider-Man, okay.
- 52:59Speaker 2: For adults and kids.
- 53:00Speaker 7: I feel like Spider-Man's always a solid, but the Spider-Man
- 53:03Speaker 7: costumes are getting like really legit.
- 53:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 53:05Speaker 1: But they have like the built-in muscles and stuff.
- 53:07Speaker 2: Right, they're way better than they used to be.
- 53:09Speaker 1: Oh, God. When we were kids, the Halloween costumes were trash. Plastic,
- 53:15Speaker 1: just plastic, and pictures on the plastic on the front.
- 53:18Speaker 7: You would basically put on a shower curtain that smelled
- 53:21Speaker 7: like carcinogens, and it would be a plastic Smurf mask
- 53:25Speaker 7: that looked like It was supposed to be cute.
- 53:27Speaker 1: It looked terrifying.
- 53:29Speaker 2: No, you're right.
- 53:30Speaker 1: And that's what we would take pictures in.
- 53:32Speaker 2: Costumes have come a long way.
- 53:33Speaker 1: They really have.
- 53:34Speaker 2: Yeah, well, there you go. Start picking your outfit. I'm
- 53:36Speaker 2: Candace Lopez. Those are your Texas Top Stories on Mix 102.9.
- 53:39Speaker 2: Thank you, Candace.
- 53:40Speaker 1: Disneyland, let's go.
- 53:43Speaker 2: Oh, that's a hot take.
- 53:44Speaker 6: Let us know what you think. Here's today's hot take.
- 53:46Speaker 1: All right, it's Mix 102.9. Good morning. Billy the Kid,
- 53:49Speaker 1: Candace Lopez, Producer Poo on a rainy nest. Look at
- 53:52Speaker 1: it outside.
- 53:53Speaker 6: Right?
- 53:53Speaker 1: Kind of love it, though.
- 53:55Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, it's great.
- 53:55Speaker 7: I kind of like the rain, though. There's a certain
- 53:57Speaker 7: type of person that likes the rain. They call them something.
- 53:59Speaker 1: It's like a fluviophile or something weird.
- 54:01Speaker 4: Oh.
- 54:01Speaker 1: There's a name for a person who likes the rain. Okay.
- 54:03Speaker 1: And that's me.
- 54:04Speaker 2: I mean, after this crazy drought we've been in, we
- 54:06Speaker 2: should all love it.
- 54:07Speaker 1: Yeah, but I kind of like it normally anyway.
- 54:09Speaker 2: Yeah, it's nice.
- 54:10Speaker 1: It just gives me a weird kind of emo vibe.
- 54:12Speaker 4: Totally.
- 54:12Speaker 1: I'm in my emo phase right now. I want some
- 54:14Speaker 1: tomato soup and grilled cheese. Yeah, dip it in there.
- 54:18Speaker 1: You couldn't tell me nothing. Start a nice fire.
- 54:20Speaker 2: Soup season's here.
- 54:22Speaker 1: Chili.
- 54:23Speaker 2: Yes.
- 54:23Speaker 1: Okay. Anyway. All right. Hot take of the day.
- 54:26Speaker 7: Trip to Disneyland coming up. We'll do it again at 9, 10.
- 54:28Speaker 7: So make sure that you listen. We do it on
- 54:30Speaker 7: the 10s all day. But I want to get you
- 54:31Speaker 7: in so you can win this trip. Now, what social
- 54:34Speaker 7: media behaviors count as cheating? This is something we've argued
- 54:38Speaker 7: about in other times, but there's no really definition. Or
- 54:43Speaker 7: some people are like, there's no, listen, cheating is only
- 54:46Speaker 7: one thing. Cheating is when you hook up with somebody else,
- 54:50Speaker 7: obviously when you're in a relationship.
- 54:52Speaker 3: Right.
- 54:52Speaker 2: But there's also digital flirting.
- 54:54Speaker 1: Digital flirting.
- 54:55Speaker 2: And there's also just being disrespectful to your relationship.
- 54:58Speaker 1: You can be disrespectful and not be cheating.
- 55:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 55:00Speaker 1: This is where there's like some gray lines.
- 55:02Speaker 7: Well, some experts, and they did a thread about this,
- 55:05Speaker 7: and they were going back and forth about what social
- 55:07Speaker 7: media behaviors do count as cheating.
- 55:08Speaker 1: Should we go over this list?
- 55:10Speaker 3: Yes.
- 55:10Speaker 1: Okay, because I love a good list, especially about cheating.
- 55:12Speaker 1: I hate cheating. Don't get me wrong. I hate cheating.
- 55:14Speaker 3: Of course.
- 55:15Speaker 7: But I do think there's some things you can do
- 55:17Speaker 7: on social media that is borderline cheating.
- 55:20Speaker 2: Okay.
- 55:21Speaker 1: What about this one? You continue to follow an ex
- 55:25Speaker 1: on social media.
- 55:27Speaker 6: Why?
- 55:28Speaker 2: Why do you need to follow them?
- 55:30Speaker 1: I don't do it.
- 55:31Speaker 4: Right.
- 55:31Speaker 7: I think I think it's weird because I just when
- 55:34Speaker 7: it's over. So actually, matter of fact, I lied.
- 55:36Speaker 1: I do that. OK, I do. I follow. But not.
- 55:39Speaker 2: Y'all do.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Not with my current ex, but with an ex before.
- 55:44Speaker 2: OK, so not your previous relationship. It's got to be
- 55:47Speaker 2: further back than that.
- 55:48Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 55:48Speaker 3: OK.
- 55:49Speaker 1: And I never did. But after years, I'm just like, whatever.
- 55:52Speaker 2: Right.
- 55:53Speaker 1: Doesn't matter. Doesn't bother me.
- 55:55Speaker 7: But if it's fresh relationship, but then again, if I
- 55:57Speaker 7: were to get into a relationship and even though we're
- 56:00Speaker 7: cordial now, I would probably not talk to her out
- 56:04Speaker 7: of respect for the woman that I'm with now.
- 56:07Speaker 1: Okay. Does that make sense?
- 56:08Speaker 6: Right.
- 56:08Speaker 2: And what if the new person says, I want you
- 56:10Speaker 2: to unfollow them? Then what are you doing?
- 56:14Speaker 1: I mean, I follow her, but we don't communicate like that.
- 56:17Speaker 1: I don't talk to her. You talk to a lot
- 56:18Speaker 1: of exes.
- 56:19Speaker 8: Yeah, but I'm talking about space girl. I don't talk
- 56:21Speaker 8: to her like that.
- 56:22Speaker 1: Oh, space girl.
- 56:23Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 56:24Speaker 1: We still follow each other, but I don't be paying attention.
- 56:27Speaker 7: I don't think if I was dating somebody, if they
- 56:30Speaker 7: said that, that might be a red flag on them.
- 56:33Speaker 2: Okay, because they want you to unfollow your exes?
- 56:36Speaker 7: Yeah, well, I don't know if it's unreasonable, but if
- 56:39Speaker 7: I was really honest and transparent about it, and I said,
- 56:41Speaker 7: I'm not going to communicate with this person like that
- 56:44Speaker 7: because I'm in a relationship now with you, so I
- 56:47Speaker 7: wouldn't talk to her like that anymore.
- 56:49Speaker 1: But I don't know if unfollowing her is going to
- 56:51Speaker 1: make a difference. Why would she even bring that up?
- 56:53Speaker 1: She don't even need to know it. Well, I don't know.
- 56:56Speaker 1: That's not cheating. Why do I have to bring up
- 56:58Speaker 1: the fact that I follow... But if it really bothered
- 57:01Speaker 1: her for some reason, call me a simp. I probably
- 57:04Speaker 1: would unfollow.
- 57:04Speaker 2: Right, because I'm sure some of them are hitting you
- 57:06Speaker 2: up in your DMs here and there.
- 57:07Speaker 1: Who?
- 57:08Speaker 2: Or like any exes that you follow would like your
- 57:10Speaker 2: posts or they're digitally flirting with you.
- 57:13Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I still stay in a couple of them. Yeah.
- 57:16Speaker 1: But I don't look at them like that anymore. So
- 57:18Speaker 1: I can easily, that's why I can follow him and
- 57:20Speaker 1: talk to him.
- 57:20Speaker 3: Yeah, okay.
- 57:21Speaker 1: Because that ship has sailed.
- 57:23Speaker 4: Right.
- 57:23Speaker 1: Is that what they say?
- 57:24Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 57:24Speaker 1: That ship has sailed. Yeah, it's gone. Down 35 right
- 57:28Speaker 1: now in this rain. It's gone.
- 57:29Speaker 2: Okay, what else?
- 57:31Speaker 1: Following new attractive people is on the list.
- 57:34Speaker 2: New attractive people?
- 57:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:36Speaker 7: Meaning following somebody new that you don't know, that you
- 57:39Speaker 7: really don't have a connection with, but they're attractive.
- 57:41Speaker 1: Right.
- 57:42Speaker 3: Okay.
- 57:42Speaker 2: Do you know these people?
- 57:44Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying.
- 57:45Speaker 4: No.
- 57:45Speaker 2: You've met them?
- 57:46Speaker 1: So, well, even if it's someone you met.
- 57:50Speaker 3: Okay.
- 57:50Speaker 1: You started following since you've been with your person now.
- 57:54Speaker 3: Okay.
- 57:55Speaker 1: But what if they followed you first? Doesn't mean you
- 57:57Speaker 1: have to follow them back. Why not? Okay. So you're
- 57:59Speaker 1: in a relationship. Let me ask you. You're in a relationship.
- 58:01Speaker 1: Let's say you're dating somebody, whatever.
- 58:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 58:03Speaker 1: And you meet a girl who happens to be really attractive.
- 58:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 58:06Speaker 4: Okay.
- 58:06Speaker 1: Okay. And then you're like, yeah, okay, cool. What's your Instagram?
- 58:09Speaker 1: Let me follow you. Oh, yeah.
- 58:11Speaker 8: I don't think I would ask her, but if she
- 58:13Speaker 8: followed me, I'd follow her back. Yeah, if she followed me,
- 58:17Speaker 8: I'd be like, oh.
- 58:18Speaker 1: Just because? Yeah, just because. And you're in a relationship.
- 58:21Speaker 1: I'm team follow back. I always do that. Let me
- 58:23Speaker 1: ask you this. Would you be okay with your girlfriend
- 58:26Speaker 1: doing that? If she followed a dude back?
- 58:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 58:28Speaker 1: I wouldn't have no problem with it. I don't pay
- 58:29Speaker 1: attention to that.
- 58:30Speaker 4: Yeah, right.
- 58:31Speaker 2: Some guy she met at the gym.
- 58:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I call BS. What? Put on the line music immediately. No,
- 58:38Speaker 1: I'm older now.
- 58:38Speaker 8: I'm not insecure poo from years ago. I don't pay
- 58:42Speaker 8: attention to that stuff.
- 58:43Speaker 7: Were we talking about being insecure the other day and
- 58:45Speaker 7: you were totally insecure about something?
- 58:47Speaker 1: There was a couple things, yeah, that triggered me. Okay.
- 58:51Speaker 1: But I'm not as insecure as I used to be.
- 58:53Speaker 1: Do you think that's cheating, Candice?
- 58:55Speaker 2: I wouldn't say it's cheating, but it's questionable.
- 58:57Speaker 1: Okay.
- 58:58Speaker 2: Questionable activity.
- 58:58Speaker 1: I agree.
- 58:59Speaker 2: All right.
- 59:00Speaker 1: What about this one? Hitting like on someone's post that's attractive. Okay.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Hitting like on somebody's post. that's attractive.
- 59:11Speaker 2: It's so hard to say because I don't know what
- 59:12Speaker 2: the context is.
- 59:13Speaker 1: Yeah, what are they doing?
- 59:14Speaker 8: If they're like coming out the Starbucks and they say,
- 59:17Speaker 8: got that PSL.
- 59:19Speaker 2: But some of these people try to trap you, and
- 59:21Speaker 2: they'll put a thirst trap with a motivational quote in
- 59:24Speaker 2: the caption. It's like, well, I like what the quote says.
- 59:27Speaker 1: That is true, though.
- 59:28Speaker 2: But she's in her swimsuit.
- 59:30Speaker 1: Yeah, they do.
- 59:31Speaker 2: What are we doing?
- 59:32Speaker 1: If I'm in a relationship, I'm not liking a bunch
- 59:33Speaker 1: of stuff like that.
- 59:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not doing that.
- 59:35Speaker 1: I'm not doing that. I'm not liking girls in bikini
- 59:38Speaker 1: pics if I'm in a relationship.
- 59:39Speaker 6: Yeah. No.
- 59:40Speaker 1: No. Why would I do that?
- 59:42Speaker 2: Right.
- 59:43Speaker 1: I look at this rule. It's a simple rule. If
- 59:45Speaker 1: you're in a relationship... Would you like this or communicate
- 59:48Speaker 1: with this person if your girlfriend or wife was looking
- 59:51Speaker 1: over your shoulder?
- 59:52Speaker 6: Right.
- 59:53Speaker 1: And if the answer is no, then you probably shouldn't
- 59:55Speaker 1: do it.
- 59:55Speaker 2: A hundred percent.
- 59:56Speaker 4: Okay.
- 59:56Speaker 1: It's an easy rule. Yep.
- 59:57Speaker 3: Right.
- 59:58Speaker 1: I get that. All right. What about this one? Is
- 59:59Speaker 1: this considered cheating? Keeping up pictures of a former relationship.
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: Oh.
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: Keeping pictures up of a previous relationship you were in
- 1:00:11Speaker 7: and not deleting them. This is what we got into
- 1:00:13Speaker 7: the argument about the other day.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Yeah, okay. Because the girl had pictures of her phone
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: of an ex on her phone. That's right. And Pooh said,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: delete them, which now.
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: Well, they were popping up on her memories.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Well, yeah.
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: Let me see a slideshow of you and your ex
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: to a weird song I've never heard before.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: No, and I agree. It should be popping up as memories,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: but I don't think, I'm not deleting them.
- 1:00:30Speaker 8: I just, I don't want to see that stuff. Put
- 1:00:31Speaker 8: it on the iCloud somewhere. I don't want to see that.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: That's insecurity. That's insecurity. I just don't want to see that. Yeah, well,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: you don't have to. You're not looking through my phone.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: I'm sure she don't want to see a picture of
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: me and my.
- 1:00:40Speaker 7: But you're not looking through my phone and she's not
- 1:00:42Speaker 7: looking through your phone. So why would you see it?
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: Because it popped up.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: I already said it wouldn't be the memories.
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: Yes, I get it. But to delete it off my phone? No,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: I'm not doing that. I have a past.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: So what?
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: Right, I get it. I'd prefer it to be in
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: the cloud, but as long as it's not popping up
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: on your phone.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: She said, I'd prefer it to be in the cloud.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: I'd prefer it to be in the cloud. So Eric
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: has not one picture of an ex on his phone?
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: I have no idea.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Eric, 833-787-1029. What do you think? No, for real?
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: I hope not.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: What do you think? Let me know. You think this
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: is cheating? What social media behavior account is cheating to you? 833-787-1029.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: And Eric, I'm kidding. Of course you don't. The new
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: Mix 102.9. Mix 102.9. Good morning.
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: It's Bailey the Kid. Candace Lopez is here. Producer Poo
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: is here. Another shot to go to Disneyland. That is
- 1:01:30Speaker 7: coming up. We'll do it at 9, 10. We do
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: it on the 10s every hour. So make sure you listen.
- 1:01:33Speaker 7: Have that iHeartRadio app ready. But this would be a
- 1:01:35Speaker 7: trip through the holidays to Disneyland.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: We pay for it. We got your airfare, your hotel,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: all that good stuff. Get you in.
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: So make sure you do that. We'll do it again
- 1:01:43Speaker 7: coming up. Candice Lopez, what is up with you?
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: Well, I was going to tell you guys, it's also
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: officially cuffing season. I saw this dating expert that said,
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: you know, September is for scouting, which we just had.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: But now we're in October, which is drafting season.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Oh, okay. This is fantasy football?
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: This is the playbook for cuffing season.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: I think cuffing season's a myth.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: I really do. I think for guys, we don't want
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: to be cuffed up right before the holidays.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: You don't?
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: No, because that means you have to buy something for
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: the holidays.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: Yeah, but that's the fun of the holidays.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Says who? I'm trying to hibernate by myself.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: You want to see the lights and stuff?
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: I mean, I don't want to be single forever, but
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: I'm not trying to cuff.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: Yeah, well, they say November and December are the sweet
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: spot for the holiday stuff. And then you got the
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: playoffs in January and the Super Bowl on Valentine's Day.
- 1:02:26Speaker 7: Playoffs and the Super Bowl, which, funny enough, the Super
- 1:02:30Speaker 7: Bowl is on Valentine's.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Day this year.
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:02:33Speaker 7: Which is going to create some problems for relationships. Matter
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: of fact, we were just talking about this.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: We were talking about how, what some social media behaviors
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: would be counted as cheating. And people are DMing me
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: at Michael said, if you're a girl and you're in
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: a relationship and you're posting bikini pics, you're cheating.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: If you're just posting bikini pics.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: Yeah. That's what, that's what Michael said.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: But I bet some guys love that. Cause they're like,
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: look at my girl.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know.
- 1:02:59Speaker 7: I just, I think it's, well, it also depends if
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: you're just, You're on a vacation and you're posting a
- 1:03:04Speaker 7: picture of you and you happen to be in a bikini.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: There's bikini pics and there's bikini pics.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Yeah, you got a tongue on. Yeah, what's a tongue?
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: Yeah, don't be doing that.
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: Ew. Ew.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: That's too much.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:03:16Speaker 7: Also, this guy said, Tim and Forney said, if you
- 1:03:19Speaker 7: want to know about cheating, I'll tell you two things
- 1:03:21Speaker 7: about cheating. Don't date a nurse if you don't want
- 1:03:23Speaker 7: to get cheated on.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: Oh, really?
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: Shots fired. Oh, wow. And then he said, I got
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: cheated on with a girl using the notes app on iCloud. Ew.
- 1:03:34Speaker 5: What?
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: What?
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: Wait a minute.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Yeah, he said, forget text messages.
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: People are using cloud sharing in the Apple Notes app
- 1:03:43Speaker 7: to send inappropriate messages?
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: How does that happen? I don't know. I'm trying to
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: think of that word. That's gross. So what, do I
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: send it to your cloud or something?
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: Well, you can share a note where only you and
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: the other person you're sharing with can see it.
- 1:03:57Speaker 6: What?
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: Or can add to it. I don't know if people
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: could see it.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: When did they come out with that?
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: Well, yeah, because me and my niece have a shared
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: note for like Christmas cookie recipes.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: So I know what you're saying.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: So when she adds to it, I get a notification.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: So you're saying that's how, so someone wouldn't think to
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: check your notes. If they think you're cheating, they're obviously
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: going to look at your text. They're going to look
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: at your calls.
- 1:04:19Speaker 7: They're going to look at the names in your phone
- 1:04:21Speaker 7: because that's another thing people do is they put different
- 1:04:23Speaker 7: names in.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: Everybody stop being shady. Stop. All these shady ways of
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: being shady. Stop it.
- 1:04:29Speaker 7: Don't we understand that if you don't want to be
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: with someone, you can actually just break up with them?
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: You don't have to be with them.
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: No.
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: How is cheating ever a good idea? Has anybody got
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: done cheating and been like, you know what?
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: I'm glad I did that. Right.
- 1:04:43Speaker 7: No, you're just like, it's exhausting. I never even thought
- 1:04:47Speaker 7: about looking in the notes app. And I almost don't
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: want to talk about it because it gives people ideas.
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: So I could create a notes app, and then we
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: could go back and forth. And then you'd have to
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: find that section in my notes, which I'm sure you
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: can protect internally.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:05:03Speaker 7: It's another shady thing. If your guy has two calculators
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: on his phone.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. I got news for you. One of them
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: is not a calculator. I know somebody who got caught
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: doing it. Shut up. It's usually a hidden photo. My
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: boy V.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: Don't be a weirdo by yourself.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: My boy V, he got caught. He got caught with
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: two calculators? God, he loves math.
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: He's just trying My boyfriend has two calculators. No, his
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: daughter was trying to do her homework. She tried to
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: hit that ass. Well, there's usually a way. It still
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: acts as a calculator, though.
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: Oh, it does?
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: Yes. I don't know.
- 1:05:36Speaker 8: She tried to do it, and then his girl was like,
- 1:05:38Speaker 8: why do you have two calculators?
- 1:05:41Speaker 7: There's a new one where it's still a calculator, but
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: if you don't put in... a certain number numeric code,
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: like in a certain sequence, then it'll do nothing.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: It'll just act as a calculator. But if you put
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: this certain sequence in, then it opens up a hidden
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: vault of photos. I'm just letting you know. So you
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: can check.
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't like that.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: What's going on on your phones? And then some couples
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: are so weird that they literally just check each other's
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: phones like it's routine.
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: Weird.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: I've never been in a relationship where it's like, well,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: it's all right. It's that time of the week. Here,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: give me your phone. No, I ain't doing that. If
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: you're already doing that, I mean, what's going on in
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: your relationship? Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:06:17Speaker 7: All right, Josh is on the phone. Oh, now Josh
- 1:06:20Speaker 7: has something to look out for. What is it, Josh?
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: Being friends with somebody on Snapchat, but nowhere else.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: That is... Let me tell you something. Snapchat is the
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: shadiest of all social medias. What's wrong with Snapchat? I
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: don't use it anymore.
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: Do you? Yeah.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: Who you use it? Yeah, but my kids are on Snapchat. That's... Oh, wow. Yeah.
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: They hit me up on that.
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: I mean, because, look, I have a past, man, you know,
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: and I've been cheated on, and that's what I figured
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: out is, yeah, not friends with the guy anywhere else,
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: but it's on Snapchat, and there's a reason for that.
- 1:06:54Speaker 7: There's a reason for it. I'm going to tell you
- 1:06:56Speaker 7: another reason. If she's friends or communicates or he communicates
- 1:07:01Speaker 7: via WhatsApp.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: Mm-mm.
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: Oh.
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: Oh.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: What's up, Shady?
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: Why?
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Cheating.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: These apps are made for this.
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Nope.
- 1:07:14Speaker 4: I'll back out in a heartbeat, man.
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: I'm out.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: I don't blame you. And I get it, Josh. Okay.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: Great point, Josh. Thank you. Watch out for these Snapchat-only friends.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: Those pictures.
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: I love you guys.
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: Y'all make me smile every morning, man.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: We love you more and I'll find you on Snapchat. Okay, bye.
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: See you later. No, don't do that. Don't do that.
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: Bye.
- 1:07:34Speaker 6: Chance. Only on the new Mix 102.9.
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: Get that iHeartRadio app ready because you've got a shot
- 1:07:44Speaker 7: to go to Disneyland coming up next.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: Candace Lopez, what is going on?
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: Well, I promised you an update on the State Fair
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: of Texas and the weather. So they are delaying opening
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: this morning. They're not going to open until noon. That's
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: because of this very slow-moving storm system. We're dealing with
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: right now, we do have a flash flood warning in
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: effect in Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant counties until around 1030.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: So rain most of the morning today, and then we'll
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: get up to 82. Okay. But yeah, so check your
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: plans if you have outdoor plans or flights or anything.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: I know there's hundreds of flights being canceled.
- 1:08:15Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean, it's pretty nasty out. I will say
- 1:08:17Speaker 7: this would be the perfect day to go to the fair, though,
- 1:08:19Speaker 7: if it stops. Like if it slows down around noon
- 1:08:21Speaker 7: and the fair opens up, like today's the day you go.
- 1:08:23Speaker 7: You just do.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: Whatever you want. Totally.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: Totally.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: I mean, it's not 150 degrees.
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: Yeah, you'll splash around in some puddles, I'm sure, at places. But, yeah,
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: it'd be super fun.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: A soggy corny dog. Yeah, no, I'd like to eat
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: to try all the food. For sure. I don't really
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: mess with the rides.
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: I'm just scared of rides.
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: I like the little fun house things.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: You know, I do, too, until I bounce my head
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: off a mirror the other year and I was like,
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: what an idiot.
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: The mirrors are tricky for sure. Watch yourself. Guys, let
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: me tell you about something new from DoorDash. They're expanding
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: their delivery services now to clothing. So they just partnered
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: with Macy's. anthropology and brands like vans the north face
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: and timberland so these brands will offer their products on
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: doordash's website and they'll deliver them to you in as
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: little as.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: An hour i love this right Wouldn't you order some?
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: I mean, you can order whatever on DoorDash, I think,
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: but people don't realize it. So, I mean, I think
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: you can already order some clothes on DoorDash.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I've ordered from Academy on DoorDash before, and it came, yeah,
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: in like an hour.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: See, but my problem is if it doesn't fit, I
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: know I'm not going to go through the process of
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: taking it back.
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: Well, here's the good news. They're going to pick up
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: your returns also.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: Oh, snap.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: There's a flat fee, though, through the app. It's $ 7. 99,
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: but they will pick up your return. So now we're
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: just throwing away money.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: Yeah, that feels a little weird.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: Sometimes I got to look at myself and be like,
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: is it worth the $ 8? I could just drive it
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: up there or go do whatever.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: Usually the answer is yes to me.
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: Yeah, no.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: It might be worth the $ 8.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: It could be. It could be. Macy's, I guess, has
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: been using DoorDash for a while now for delivery orders,
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: but now they're letting Macy's put their stuff on DoorDash's website.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: So everything is just getting more convenient, faster, easier.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: I just want everything droned to me. Drop it off.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: Drop off my new shirt. You know what I mean?
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: If I don't want to do laundry and I need
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: new underwear.
- 1:10:10Speaker 6: Ah!
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: DoorDash.
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: Yeah. Oh, man.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: DoorDash.
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: We live in such a weird time.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: It's awesome.
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: So weird. Yeah. We updated you yesterday on Diddy because
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: these former inmates reported that he had access to a
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: phone in prison. He was living this lavish lifestyle where
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: he was getting... You know, fancy meals cooked for him.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: He was paying inmates to do his chores, even clean
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: his toilet. Well, this morning we're hearing that he's actually
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: been now sent back to solitary confinement because of this.
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: Dang.
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: So they snitched and now he's back by himself.
- 1:10:42Speaker 7: Well, there was pictures of him on the phone.
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: Like chilling.
- 1:10:46Speaker 7: Hanging out, just relaxing, watching a tablet. And I'm like,
- 1:10:49Speaker 7: this is federal prison. I know federal, though, is bad.
- 1:10:52Speaker 7: easier i heard than.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: State it's a country club well.
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: Obviously that's what they're saying about it.
- 1:10:56Speaker 7: Diddy it is but the warden's like oh no you
- 1:10:58Speaker 7: gotta go to solitary confinement yeah but i didn't know
- 1:11:01Speaker 7: i mean i'm not saying you can i'm not saying
- 1:11:03Speaker 7: this is all allegedly but i didn't know you could
- 1:11:05Speaker 7: really like pay off the guards i mean this happens i.
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: Mean money talks and if people are they're saying thousands
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: and thousands of dollars were coming into his you know
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: account or whatever.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: How that works Gosh. You get it on your books
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: and you spend it for a commissary.
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what they're doing. And then he's just using
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: it to pay people.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: How do you know? I mean, have you heard?
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: Who taught me everything I know about prison?
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: About prison?
- 1:11:28Speaker 8: Yeah, when I was in the Lulu. You know, I
- 1:11:31Speaker 8: had girls putting money on my books.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: You had girls? Yeah, back in the day. Putting money
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: on your books? Yeah, when you used to drop me off.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: How romantic. Yeah, I was like, yeah. Get you a
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: girl that'll put money on your books. Yeah, honey bun.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: Multiple girls?
- 1:11:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: Just two. Did they know about each other? No.
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: No.
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: Thankfully, you were reformed. Yeah.
- 1:11:51Speaker 8: I was wild back then. I was like, yeah, girl,
- 1:11:54Speaker 8: we're going to spend our whole life together when I
- 1:11:56Speaker 8: get out.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: Just put $ 20 so I can get some ramen.
- 1:11:57Speaker 6: Exactly.
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: All right. Those are your Texas top stories. It's Dirty
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: Little Secret with Billy the Kid in the Morning on
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: Mix 102.9. Brought to you by Mint Dentistry.
- 1:12:11Speaker 6: All right.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: Where's your secrets?
- 1:12:13Speaker 7: Confess it. It's Mix 102.9. Billy the Kid. Candace is here.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: So is Poot.
- 1:12:17Speaker 7: You just tell us anytime you want. We don't have
- 1:12:19Speaker 7: to be doing Dirty Little Secret. You can just confess anytime.
- 1:12:21Speaker 7: You can also DM us if you want to set
- 1:12:23Speaker 7: it up that way. People are always like, can I
- 1:12:25Speaker 7: stay anonymous? Yeah, you can stay anonymous. I won't say
- 1:12:28Speaker 7: your name. I really won't either. I will not say
- 1:12:30Speaker 7: your name. If we say we're not going to, we don't.
- 1:12:32Speaker 7: Or we can even disguise your voice. There's sometimes people like,
- 1:12:35Speaker 7: disguise my voice a little bit?
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: Sure. We have special things that we can just change
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: or whatever.
- 1:12:39Speaker 7: Just call us, 833-787-1029, no matter what the confession is.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: Go ahead. You got one. I know a little bit
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: about this one. It's intense, too.
- 1:12:48Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: So I have a secret. I've never told any of
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: my friends, and I haven't even told my wife.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: I'm related to David Duke.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: David wait who the kkk dude okay i was wondering
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: if you were gonna know who it was poo yeah
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: so what what yeah so you're related to david duke
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: who is uh not a not a good guy big
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: time right obviously a big part of american history i
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: because i had to do my research i'm like that
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: name sounds so familiar so right how how did you
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: find this out all that good stuff.
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: Well, I'm not exactly going to say how I'm related
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: because that would give away too much about who I am.
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: But it's a close enough family connection that my parents
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: actually sat me down when I got older and told
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: me about it. And they didn't want me finding out
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: from somebody else someday and being completely blindsided. So.
- 1:13:42Speaker 7: So your parents, your parents are not, they're not proud
- 1:13:45Speaker 7: of it either. It's not something they're like, yay.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: No, they're not necessarily proud of it either. I mean, honestly,
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: I just remember, you know, feeling sick when they told me,
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: I mean, knowing that I share blood with some, you know,
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: who became so well known for racism and his involvement
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: with the Ku Klux Klan is honestly embarrassing to me,
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: you know?
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: No.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:14:09Speaker 8: He tried to run for like president back in the day.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: He did? Yeah. Vice president.
- 1:14:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: Back in the day. Yeah. Okay.
- 1:14:16Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: I didn't know that.
- 1:14:16Speaker 4: So.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:14:18Speaker 3: And it's just, it's just such an ugly part of history.
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: And I hate knowing that about my family and that
- 1:14:24Speaker 3: they have any connection to it. But it's actually, you know,
- 1:14:28Speaker 3: part of the reason I moved to Dallas from Louisiana
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: was I wanted a fresh start somewhere. You know, nobody
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: kind of knew my family or, could possibly connect me
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: to him, and I never wanted to be known as
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: David Duke's relative, you know?
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, obviously, because you can tell you're not
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: that kind of person who, you know, obviously judges people
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: and is racist, it doesn't sound like, so you don't
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: want to be anything close to that.
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: Well, right. I mean, that's the crazy thing. I couldn't
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: be more opposite, you know? I mean, I can't stand racism.
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: you know, I don't understand judging somebody, you know, because
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: of the color of their skin or their ethnicity or
- 1:15:04Speaker 3: religion or anything like that, you.
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: Know, good.
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: And, uh, you know, my, my parents were the same
- 1:15:10Speaker 3: way and, you know, growing up, you know, they constantly,
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: you know, preach to me that everybody's created equal and,
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: and you judge people by who they are and how
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: they treat others.
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: And looking back, I sometimes wonder if they went, you know,
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: kind of over-the-top teaching me because they knew, you know,
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: that there was this really dark connection in our family. But,
- 1:15:31Speaker 3: you know, I'm proud of the person that they raised
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: me to be, and I'm just not proud of everyone
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: I happen to be related to.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: No, that makes sense. You never really think about that
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: kind of stuff when you think about, you know, these
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: people who are figures in whatever, you know, that have controversial–
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: views or opinions, you don't think about their family and
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: the effect that it has on a family who might
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: be related to them and you're coming from like a
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: small town or whatever, then everybody knows.
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: Right, it seems like when they're gone, it's done.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: It's over, which is good.
- 1:16:00Speaker 7: And I had to Google this guy because this guy's
- 1:16:03Speaker 7: still alive.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: He's a known racist.
- 1:16:06Speaker 8: My dad and my grandparents, everybody taught me about him
- 1:16:10Speaker 8: when I was like younger.
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: That's so, yeah. I just can't imagine.
- 1:16:13Speaker 8: On TV, like in the 80s, late 80s, he was
- 1:16:17Speaker 8: still trying to run for public office.
- 1:16:19Speaker 7: Good for you for, for changing the, I guess the,
- 1:16:22Speaker 7: you know, whatever the path in life. Cause there's some,
- 1:16:25Speaker 7: there's some people that don't unfortunately, and it just keeps
- 1:16:28Speaker 7: going and it goes and goes and it doesn't stop.
- 1:16:30Speaker 7: So good for you for breaking a cycle that obviously
- 1:16:33Speaker 7: is not something you're proud of, but it also doesn't
- 1:16:35Speaker 7: define who you are.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: So you do your own thing and you lead your
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: own life. And because that happens to be a connection
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: doesn't mean it's who you are.
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: Right, right. No, exactly. And I just want people to know,
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: you know, that, uh, you know, regardless of who we
- 1:16:49Speaker 3: are and where we come from, you know, it's about
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: what we do and how we treat people, you know?
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: Amen to that. Yeah.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: Isn't that the truth? Thank you so much. Dirty little secret.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: I got a nasty DM from somebody about this one.
- 1:17:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: Oh, you did?
- 1:17:02Speaker 7: I don't want to even acknowledge him, but basically he
- 1:17:04Speaker 7: said this guy, no, he was not a racist.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: This is what this guy said to me. He's not
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: a racist and he's not a racist. He's just proud
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: to be white. Sorry, that's... No, that's not... If you
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: want to think that, you could think that.
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: This guy was a grand wizard in the KKK. No,
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: don't tell me... Oh, he was just... Oh, no, he wasn't...
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: It is what it is. He was racist and is racist.
- 1:17:31Speaker 6: Well, yeah.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: I'm not going to sit here and sugarcoat it. He's
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: just proud to be white.
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:17:36Speaker 5: Come on.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: No, uh-uh.
- 1:17:38Speaker 7: Don't tolerate that. Don't even make an excuse for that
- 1:17:41Speaker 7: kind of behavior ever.
- 1:17:42Speaker 4: 102.9.
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: The new Mix 102.9.
- 1:17:47Speaker 7: The tollway north is a mess and south. It's just,
- 1:17:49Speaker 7: you know how it is when it rains around here.
- 1:17:51Speaker 7: But look, it's starting to move now, actually, a little bit.
- 1:17:54Speaker 7: It's slowed down a little bit. It looks like it's
- 1:17:56Speaker 7: going to taper off and then come back later on tomorrow.
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: Okay. I'm looking for my meteorologist, Candace Lopez, to step
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: in here.
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: Well, I mean, we're just in it right now. It's
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: just moving really slow. So it depends on how fast
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: it's going. A couple of hours of this, I think,
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: and then we get a break.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: Okay. Wasn't it your dream to be a meteorologist?
- 1:18:12Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: TV meteorologist, for sure.
- 1:18:15Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: You don't want to do it on the radio, obviously.
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm doing it.
- 1:18:19Speaker 6: It's fine.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: What are you doing?
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: Rain tomorrow. We got more rounds of rain.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: Yeah, it's going to be wet. Candace, what are you
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: doing today?
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: I'm just getting wet outside. I'm just going out in
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: the rain. Honestly, I just want to be home and
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: be cozy now that we finally have a change in
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: the weather.
- 1:18:32Speaker 7: Yeah, Candace said an interesting thing. She goes, I hate
- 1:18:34Speaker 7: being away from my house when it's raining.
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I just want to be on the couch
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: with a blanket.
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: Okay, I guess that makes sense. See, I'm weird. I
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: like being outside in the rain.
- 1:18:42Speaker 6: Huh.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: Like, as long as it's not pouring, pouring. I love, like,
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: taking a walk in the rain.
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't mind that. I don't like driving in it.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: I'm scared. of getting struck by lightning or something. It's
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: not really lightning outside, though. I mean, I don't think that's...
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: A little bit, yeah. Okay, well, then I'll stay inside.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: Is everybody happy? I want to go to Katy Trail.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: I want to go hiking.
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: Well, go do it.
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: I like the rain. You want to do all that
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: stuff in the rain. I love the rain.
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: Yeah, it's nice.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: It's not cold. I don't like cold rain, but it's
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: 80 degrees. That's not cold.
- 1:19:09Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: So, well, either way, be safe. I do hate driving
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: in the rain, though.
- 1:19:12Speaker 6: Same.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: That's what will stop me from going to Katy Trail today.
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: Right, because you've got to get there.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: You deal with 75, and it's like, ugh.
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: So either way.
- 1:19:20Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Have a great day. Be safe. We'll see you tomorrow.
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: We'll have a dirty little secret tomorrow. It's Friday.
- 1:19:24Speaker 6: Yay.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: So you know what that means.
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: What? Oh, Wheel of Misfortune.
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: Are we doing it?
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: Wheel of Misfortune. Yeah, we're doing it.
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: All right, let's do it.
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: We are doing it.
- 1:19:32Speaker 7: Wheel of Misfortune went away last week for the week
- 1:19:34Speaker 7: because we were doing the corny dog walk and, you know, whatever.
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: We had to focus on that.
- 1:19:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: But it's back.
- 1:19:39Speaker 7: So we will do trivia. We will, whoever loses, we'll
- 1:19:41Speaker 7: spin that wheel of unfortunate stuff. There's some new stuff
- 1:19:44Speaker 7: on the wheel that we'll go over and It's exciting.
- 1:19:47Speaker 7: And I get excited because I don't usually lose.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: Honestly, you haven't lost in a while.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: Maybe tomorrow's your day. Maybe, but I have a feeling
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: it's not going to be. So we'll find out. Tomorrow
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: we'll do Wheel of Misfortune. Of course, we've got trips
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: to Disneyland all day, so make sure... You listen.
- 1:20:03Speaker 7: We do it on the 10s all day. Have that
- 1:20:05Speaker 7: iHeartRadio app ready. You can always listen to us on
- 1:20:07Speaker 7: the iHeartRadio app and listen to the show and catch
- 1:20:09Speaker 7: other Dirty Little Secrets and put us on your presets
- 1:20:12Speaker 7: and all that good stuff.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: So make sure you do. Otherwise, we'll see you tomorrow.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: Have a great day.
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: Bye.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: Disneyland coming up.
