- 0:00Speaker 1: Come on, uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody,
- 0:06Speaker 1: y'all listening to the voice. Come on, dig me now,
- 0:09Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, okay,
- 0:20Speaker 1: here's what I want to share with you. Stop complaining.
- 0:30Speaker 1: So I had to legend you see how I let
- 0:31Speaker 1: that one sit for a second. Stop complaining. Do you
- 0:39Speaker 1: realize without us even thinking about it, oftentimes we just
- 0:46Speaker 1: complain about stuff it and it comes up in such
- 0:53Speaker 1: subtle forms. Man, I don't know why they're still letting
- 0:57Speaker 1: that lady work there. Man, they don't fire this woman. Man,
- 1:00Speaker 1: I don't know what I'm gonna do. She driving me crazy.
- 1:04Speaker 1: She always got something to say. I bet today, though,
- 1:10Speaker 1: the way I'm feeling right now, I bet she better
- 1:13Speaker 1: not say nothing to me today. Mm hmm, yeah, yeah,
- 1:18Speaker 1: because day it today it. I'm sick of her running
- 1:23Speaker 1: in her mouth. Last time she said something to me,
- 1:26Speaker 1: I should have said something to it. You know what
- 1:28Speaker 1: I'm saying. I'm just giving you a small example of
- 1:32Speaker 1: how it starts to snowball. Once you start to complain,
- 1:38Speaker 1: it just carries over into so many things. Man, Stop
- 1:42Speaker 1: complaining about your car. Stop complaining about your bus pass.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Stop complaining about your kids can't seem to get it together.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Stop complaining about your man can't seem to get it together.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Stop complaining. Stop have you noticed just asking, have you
- 2:01Speaker 1: noticed that in all of your complaining, it has provided
- 2:06Speaker 1: not one solution? The reason I'm telling you to stop
- 2:11Speaker 1: complaining because God is able. Because God is capable. He
- 2:20Speaker 1: is capable and able of fixing anything, Capable and able
- 2:27Speaker 1: of curing anything, capable and able of allowing you to
- 2:33Speaker 1: get to adjusting to things, and capable and able to
- 2:41Speaker 1: strengthen you to get through and change anything. But the
- 2:48Speaker 1: key here is God is capable, and God is able.
- 2:53Speaker 1: A lot of times I find myself complaining because I
- 2:57Speaker 1: have not used my greatest ass And that's my relationship
- 3:02Speaker 1: with God. You all have one now. You may not
- 3:05Speaker 1: have nurtured it, but you have one because God created
- 3:08Speaker 1: you as his child. He's available to you now. The
- 3:12Speaker 1: fact that you ain't went to him. Okay, once again,
- 3:16Speaker 1: who fought as that? Stop complaining until you strengthen your
- 3:22Speaker 1: relationship with God and formulate this relationship. You don't have
- 3:29Speaker 1: enough weapons. You ain't got a big enough shield to
- 3:34Speaker 1: fight this thing called life. It just keeps coming. Man,
- 3:38Speaker 1: and unless you develop a relationship with God, you need
- 3:41Speaker 1: a partner in all of this. Maybe you got another
- 3:45Speaker 1: route you're gonna take. But every successful person I know
- 3:51Speaker 1: personally has a relationship with God. I have some really,
- 3:59Speaker 1: really some people that's kind of up there in the
- 4:03Speaker 1: success term in terms of business and money and statute.
- 4:08Speaker 1: I'm just talking about that portion of success. And then
- 4:11Speaker 1: I have a lot of people who are very successful
- 4:14Speaker 1: in their spiritual life, who have become great men of
- 4:18Speaker 1: God and women of God. But look at all of them,
- 4:22Speaker 1: and all of them have substantial amounts of you know,
- 4:28Speaker 1: possessions and things like that. Also, most successful people I
- 4:33Speaker 1: know have that. Even if you saw them never with
- 4:37Speaker 1: a big lot of house and a lot of money
- 4:39Speaker 1: or stuff like that, they had so much respect, so
- 4:44Speaker 1: much love, so much power was given them from people
- 4:51Speaker 1: that their life was rich in that area, you know,
- 4:55Speaker 1: like Ahma Luther King or something like that, or Gandhi
- 4:58Speaker 1: or somebody who live their life in service, or Nelson
- 5:02Speaker 1: Mandela who came out and just man, people put stuff
- 5:05Speaker 1: at their feet because of their service. So all successful
- 5:08Speaker 1: people I know have that. Every last one of these
- 5:11Speaker 1: people that I know, they have relationship with God. They
- 5:16Speaker 1: use the tool that was available to them to give
- 5:20Speaker 1: them the strength, the bullets, the arrows, the slings, the
- 5:24Speaker 1: shield to fight this thing called life, and have the
- 5:27Speaker 1: most valuable partner right there by the side. They heavily
- 5:30Speaker 1: father God, because he will help you get through this
- 5:33Speaker 1: thing called life. Man, stop complaining all the time. It's
- 5:36Speaker 1: not fixing anything. Why don't you do yourself a favor
- 5:39Speaker 1: and strengthen your relationship with God? Man, why can I
- 5:43Speaker 1: never get over? Well you have not because you asked not. Man,
- 5:47Speaker 1: how come I always got problems? Well, you keep trying
- 5:49Speaker 1: to solve them yourself and taking them to your friends.
- 5:52Speaker 1: You keep trying to do them with your own thought process.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Who are you? I keep telling you, Man, you going
- 5:58Speaker 1: through stuff you ain't got no business going through. And
- 6:03Speaker 1: if it's you going through something over and over and
- 6:05Speaker 1: over and over and the same problem keep coming back
- 6:08Speaker 1: to bite you again, all that's saying is you still
- 6:12Speaker 1: ain't strengthen your relationship with God. He's your relationship. He's
- 6:15Speaker 1: not gonna make you have one with him. He is
- 6:18Speaker 1: a perfect gentleman. He only comes into your life when
- 6:22Speaker 1: you invite men. But for those who do invite men,
- 6:28Speaker 1: they have a distinct advantage on their road to success,
- 6:31Speaker 1: A distinct advantage. You can do it without him, Trust me,
- 6:36Speaker 1: you can. How far you get. I can't promise you nothing.
- 6:41Speaker 1: How well you handle it when you arrived there, I
- 6:43Speaker 1: can't promise you nothing, how long you gonna stay there.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I can't promise you nothing. How difficult it is going
- 6:51Speaker 1: to be without him. I can't give you that. It's
- 6:54Speaker 1: going to be far more difficult. But you can. Something
- 6:57Speaker 1: can happen, and you, you know, receive you've a measure success,
- 7:01Speaker 1: and you think it's you and this move you made,
- 7:03Speaker 1: and you can describe it as I got lucky. I
- 7:06Speaker 1: happened to be in the right place at the right time.
- 7:09Speaker 1: I got lucky. Lucky is usually how other people describe
- 7:13Speaker 1: other people's success. Boy, he was lucky, he was right there. Well,
- 7:17Speaker 1: let me tell you what lucky is. Lucky is when
- 7:19Speaker 1: hard work bumps up into opportunity. If you've been working
- 7:24Speaker 1: hard as something and the opportunity presents itself, that comes
- 7:26Speaker 1: a match. That's not luck. But now, if you haven't
- 7:31Speaker 1: done that on a repetitive enough basis, that opportunity could
- 7:35Speaker 1: present itself one time. You got to reconnect, stop complaining. Man,
- 7:41Speaker 1: come on, listen to me. Stop complaining. It hasn't fixed
- 7:44Speaker 1: a single thing in your life. And if you're a
- 7:46Speaker 1: chronic complainer, it's because you really really have not fixed
- 7:50Speaker 1: your relationship with God. He'll move it out for you.
- 7:53Speaker 1: That I can tell you for a fact. I know
- 7:55Speaker 1: that for a fact he's moved mine out. All right,
- 7:57Speaker 1: let's go. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
