- 0:00Speaker 1: It's the Marks Among's show on SEVENR.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Steve, Union City. Steve,
- 0:10Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 0:11Speaker 3: I'm doing great, Mark. I wanted to comment on Seattle
- 0:15Speaker 3: idea of taxing the football players from other cities and
- 0:18Speaker 3: states while they play there.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Yeah, we had.
- 0:20Speaker 3: I'm an actor, a retired actor. Cities and states all
- 0:23Speaker 3: over the country have been doing this to us when
- 0:25Speaker 3: we're on tour for decades. We grow into some city
- 0:28Speaker 3: and they decide, oh, we're going to tax you while
- 0:30Speaker 3: you're here for the portion of the money that you
- 0:32Speaker 3: made while you're here. So we're being taxed without representation
- 0:36Speaker 3: and kind of double taxed because we're still paying tax
- 0:38Speaker 3: to the state where we live.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Yeah, it's absolutely ridiculous. And what were you in that
- 0:43Speaker 2: we might have seen?
- 0:44Speaker 3: I was in the Broadway Company of forty second Street
- 0:46Speaker 3: for three and a half years, the National Company of Footloose,
- 0:49Speaker 3: lots of other shows.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Very good, excellent, Well thanks for calling, Steve. Take care.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Let's go to Robert in New Jersey. Robert, how you doing?
- 0:58Speaker 4: Good morning, Mark. I want to make about the alternative
- 1:02Speaker 4: halftime show. You know, it was the big name there
- 1:04Speaker 4: was Kid and The problem was he didn't even actually
- 1:09Speaker 4: come out and perform and Buck the other.
- 1:11Speaker 5: Halftime show with the game was over, so everybody.
- 1:14Speaker 4: Went back to much the game till and the big
- 1:16Speaker 4: the big name for the alternative halftime show. I don't
- 1:19Speaker 4: even think anybody saw it.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Well, actually seven million people saw the alternative show. Seven
- 1:23Speaker 2: million actually twitched over from the super Bowl to watch
- 1:27Speaker 2: the kid Rock show. Let's go to Bob in Georgia. Bob,
- 1:31Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 1:32Speaker 5: Yeah, hey, hi, Mark. The only thing I could figure
- 1:35Speaker 5: they had a Spanish singer for the halftime show is
- 1:39Speaker 5: maybe they're trying to bring in that demographic. But I
- 1:43Speaker 5: got to tell you, the guys are the Spanish guys
- 1:45Speaker 5: I worked with, and the Spanish people I know they
- 1:47Speaker 5: were like soccer, So I don't know who he really
- 1:51Speaker 5: was playing to. I guess I guess maybe the or
- 1:53Speaker 5: the younger people or something like that. Anyway, that was
- 1:55Speaker 5: my opinion about it.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, well thanks for calling. The problem is
- 1:58Speaker 2: you could actually argue that he is the biggest, the
- 2:00Speaker 2: most successful singer in the world today. But as we
- 2:03Speaker 2: were saying today, you could be the number one selling
- 2:06Speaker 2: artist in the world and only one little demographic nose you. Uh,
- 2:11Speaker 2: half the half the country's never heard of you. It's
- 2:13Speaker 2: all splintered up. Right now, Let's go to Sandy and
- 2:16Speaker 2: Long Island. Sandy, How you doing?
- 2:19Speaker 1: How are you?
- 2:20Speaker 3: Mark?
- 2:20Speaker 2: I'm good.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I also have a comment to make about the halftime show.
- 2:25Speaker 1: I don't Roger Friedman must be delusional. How anyone could
- 2:29Speaker 1: stand that show? I can't figure it out. He was
- 2:32Speaker 1: pretty understanding.
- 2:34Speaker 2: He can't understand it. But he was pretty good.
- 2:37Speaker 1: He wasn't good.
- 2:38Speaker 2: He was pretty good.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Oh, give me a break.
- 2:41Speaker 2: No, you looked good. The moves were good. Everything. It
- 2:44Speaker 2: was the choreography, the whole terrific.
- 2:46Speaker 1: It was borderline porn at the beginning, with the twerking
- 2:49Speaker 1: and everything. I listen to you.
- 2:52Speaker 2: You could use a little borderline porn.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Private perhaps, but not on TV.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Hey, let me ask you a question. This new study
- 3:01Speaker 2: shows that more women are looking at porn than ever before,
- 3:05Speaker 2: the porn sites that I've never seen this before. What
- 3:07Speaker 2: do you attribute that to?
- 3:09Speaker 1: I have to tell you I don't know, And I
- 3:12Speaker 1: have to question who did the survey?
- 3:15Speaker 2: Well, it's not a survey, it's actual numbers.
- 3:17Speaker 1: It's well, I don't know what to say. I'm certainly
- 3:21Speaker 1: not one of them. All right, now you're happy own
- 3:24Speaker 1: You don't have to You really don't have to do that.
- 3:26Speaker 2: No, I understand, thanks for calling me. Yeah, it's just interesting.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Some experts think it's that people whatever they used to
- 3:36Speaker 2: do physically in person, they're doing online now. So a
- 3:39Speaker 2: lot a lot of women less actual going out with men,
- 3:42Speaker 2: sex with men, They're just doing it online. It's the
- 3:44Speaker 2: same thing with everything else. You used to go see
- 3:46Speaker 2: people talk to them. Now you just text and everything
- 3:49Speaker 2: becomes digital. Let's go to Joe Bergen County. Joe, how
- 3:53Speaker 2: you doing?
- 3:54Speaker 6: Goodmorning, Mark, how you doing? I want to switch gears here?
- 3:57Speaker 6: Kudos to invention. Uh, where's my app? On my my PSC?
- 4:02Speaker 6: Jo went thirty dollars more? Where's my cap?
- 4:06Speaker 2: But are you talking about? I know what he's talking about?
- 4:10Speaker 6: The energy?
- 4:12Speaker 7: Oh electric?
- 4:13Speaker 6: Okay, our energy bills went up even more. She's supposed
- 4:17Speaker 6: to put a cap on it.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Oh yeah, good luck with that. You voted for a Democrat?
- 4:20Speaker 6: No, no, no, no, we didn't vote. I don't know
- 4:26Speaker 6: how she got in. I don't know where she came from.
- 4:28Speaker 2: I know, but I'm just telling you, you elect a Democrat.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Your energy costs go up, Everything goes up. Your good
- 4:32Speaker 2: example is New York. You elected Cuomo. He shut down
- 4:36Speaker 2: the nuclear plant Indian Point that was twenty five percent
- 4:39Speaker 2: of our electricity. Twenty five percent taken off line. That means,
- 4:42Speaker 2: you know, you got to buy it from out of state.
- 4:45Speaker 2: It increases the cost. Absolutely ridiculous. One more Michael on
- 4:49Speaker 2: the east Side. Michael, what do you want to say?
- 4:55Speaker 7: Sorry?
- 4:55Speaker 2: What is this como?
- 4:58Speaker 5: C Garden with Garden.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Again the same thing. What'd you say?
- 5:08Speaker 7: Okaygarden? Be Ghazi attack. Yes, the John Batchelor Show had
- 5:16Speaker 7: somebody on at the time that really discussed in depth
- 5:22Speaker 7: the true story and why Hillary Clinton would not send
- 5:28Speaker 7: support because that would expose one of her gun trading operations.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Well, more likely it was Hillary Clinton and the world's
- 5:39Speaker 2: worst manager, didn't know what the hell she was doing.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Left those people there, just left them for dead. It
- 5:44Speaker 2: was awful. Hey. When we come back, speaking of music
- 5:47Speaker 2: and mainstream artists, we'll talk to the greatest living DJ,
- 5:51Speaker 2: the legend himself, Scott Shannon will go over the super
- 5:54Speaker 2: Bowl and more. Coming up next on seven to ten
