Pike Place Market might be getting cars back—starting October 1st, vehicles will be allowed Monday through Thursday until March 31st, with a “soft closure” on weekends from 11 AM to 4 PM letting only essential vehicles through. This follows a successful car-free trial in spring 2025 that boosted foot traffic and sales by over 5% and 6%, respectively.
