  Speaker 1: to share this with you guys. So, y'all, before I begin,

  Speaker 1: I'm gonna say a brief prayer, Father God, in the

  Speaker 1: name of Jesus, Lord, I thank you. I asked that

  Speaker 1: you will remove me out of the way and allow
• 3:42
  Speaker 1: your spiritman to come forth. Lord God, decrease me in
• 3:45
  Speaker 1: the flesh and allow your spirit man that work up
• 3:47
  Speaker 1: within me to come forth. For God, let it not

  Speaker 1: be about me, but Lord, allow your word to come forth.

  Speaker 1: Allow it to be what is needed for the people

  Speaker 1: on today. Lord God. So Father, I thank you for

  Speaker 1: yet this opportunity, every platform that you allow us to

  Speaker 1: be a part of, and every person that should come

  Speaker 1: the scripture is gonna be coming from Isaiah forty three
• 5:10
  Speaker 1: and nineteen and it reads as follow and then I'm
• 5:14
  Speaker 1: gonna be brief. I'm gonna be brief before your hope,
• 5:16
  Speaker 1: not to be before you're very long. But I'm just
• 5:19
  Speaker 1: gonna give you what God gave me and my time
• 5:22
  Speaker 1: or study because know this that he has to give me.
• 5:26
  Speaker 1: He give it to me, and I have to deal
• 5:29
  Speaker 1: with it before I can bring it before you. So
• 5:31
  Speaker 1: I had to look at this thing for myself and behold,
• 5:36
  Speaker 1: I am doing a new thing. Now it springs forth.
• 5:41
  Speaker 1: Do not perceive it? He'd say, Isaiah, And that is
• 5:47
  Speaker 1: coming from I don't know which version that that is,
• 5:50
  Speaker 1: And I'm gonna read another version for you, but I
• 5:53
  Speaker 1: use several different translations, the King James version of the NIV.
• 5:58
  Speaker 1: And then there's a new version that I've been using.
• 6:02
  Speaker 1: Forget the name of it, but it makes it. It
• 6:05
  Speaker 1: puts it in very plain terminology and plain terms that
• 6:13
  Speaker 1: we all can understand, so there's not no mishaps. So
• 6:17
  Speaker 1: y'all again, it says, behold, I am doing a new thing.
• 6:21
  Speaker 1: Now it springs forth. Do you not perceive it? Do
• 6:25
  Speaker 1: you not perceive it? And the other version is it says,
• 6:32
  Speaker 1: and this is coming from the new International version. It says, see,
• 6:37
  Speaker 1: I am doing a new thing. Now it springs up,
• 6:41
  Speaker 1: doing not perceive it? I am making a way in
• 6:44
  Speaker 1: the wilderness, in the streams, in the wasteland. I want
• 6:49
  Speaker 1: to share a little backstory, y'all know. I like to
• 6:51
  Speaker 1: give a little backstory and a little context on the
• 6:54
  Speaker 1: scriptures that I share with you guys. So the backstory
• 6:58
  Speaker 1: for this one, and this comes out of the Book
• 7:01
  Speaker 1: of Isaiah. It is one of the most profound prothetic
• 7:05
  Speaker 1: books in the Old Testament. The Prophet Isaiah ministered in Judaijah,
• 7:14
  Speaker 1: in Judah during a time of great moral decline, in
• 7:18
  Speaker 1: political traumil sound like now, y'all, sound like what we're
• 7:21
  Speaker 1: going through right now and impeding disaster. And when I
• 7:25
  Speaker 1: say it sounds like what we're going through right now,
• 7:27
  Speaker 1: it sounds exactly like what we're experiencing now. But throughout
• 7:31
  Speaker 1: his ministry spun in several king reign he won Israel
• 7:37
  Speaker 1: about turning away from God and foretold both judgment and
• 7:41
  Speaker 1: the ultimate restoration. So historically this setting, by the time
• 7:47
  Speaker 1: Isaiah forty three was delivered, the nation of Israel, particularly
• 7:52
  Speaker 1: the southern Kingdom of Judah, faced the devastation, devastation, reality
• 7:57
  Speaker 1: of exile because of the persistent idioditry and disobedience and injustice. Y'all,
• 8:03
  Speaker 1: what does that sound like? God allow foreign nation, especially Babylon,
• 8:09
  Speaker 1: to conquer and deploy many Israelites from their land Israel, Jerusalem,
• 8:17
  Speaker 1: the Holy City was left in ruins, the temple was destroyed,
• 8:21
  Speaker 1: and the people sense of identity, security and hope all
• 8:27
  Speaker 1: but disappeared. Y'all. That was the historical setting. Now I'm
• 8:31
  Speaker 1: gonna share with you the emotions in how individuals was
• 8:36
  Speaker 1: experiencing and spirits and how they was going through and
• 8:40
  Speaker 1: what they was experiencing. So the emotion I can imagine
• 8:44
  Speaker 1: the emotional climate in that time. So you're talking about
• 8:50
  Speaker 1: the exile of the Israelites, they had to feel a
• 8:53
  Speaker 1: deep sense of abandonment. And then you go back and
• 8:57
  Speaker 1: you think about for generations they had identified as God's
• 9:01
  Speaker 1: chosen people, airs to the promise given to Abraham, Moses,
• 9:06
  Speaker 1: and David, but now stripped up their homeland in their temple.
• 9:12
  Speaker 1: They question, has God forgotten us? Are we beyond hope?
• 9:17
  Speaker 1: And the Psalms captured this astonishment by the rivers of Babylon.
• 9:23
  Speaker 1: We sat and weep when we remembered Zion Psalms one,
• 9:27
  Speaker 1: thirty seven and one. So the message that Isaiah would
• 9:32
  Speaker 1: bring to bring comfort in Isaiah forty three, it comes
• 9:36
  Speaker 1: at a time that this message could have been perceived
• 9:41
  Speaker 1: as a radical message of comfort and renewal. So God
• 9:45
  Speaker 1: speaks through Isaiah. He reminds his people of his unique
• 9:50
  Speaker 1: relationship with them. He said, do not fear, for I
• 9:54
  Speaker 1: have redeemed you. I have summoned you by name. You
• 9:57
  Speaker 1: are minds. He said that. In Isaiah forty one one
• 10:00
  Speaker 1: and three, God recounts past deliverance like the partner of
• 10:05
  Speaker 1: the Red and Exodus for this, demonstrating his power and
• 10:11
  Speaker 1: his covenant love. But then God urgence, he say, forget
• 10:16
  Speaker 1: the former things. Do not dwell on the past. Isaiah
• 10:21
  Speaker 1: forty three and eighteen he directs. He directs their attention
• 10:26
  Speaker 1: to the new thing that he's about to do, the unprecedent,
• 10:31
  Speaker 1: and the he about to restore, He's about to renew,
• 10:35
  Speaker 1: and he's about to provide hope. So what I gather
• 10:39
  Speaker 1: from this scripture again it is says, behold, I am
• 10:45
  Speaker 1: doing a new thing, y'all. He's doing a new thing.
• 10:48
  Speaker 1: And then he reminds us. He say, forget about those
• 10:51
  Speaker 1: old things. So the key points that I want you
• 10:55
  Speaker 1: to remember the exile and Babylon. The Israelites are far
• 10:59
  Speaker 1: from home. They're surrounded by foreign gods in culture, feeling
• 11:04
  Speaker 1: powerless and forgotten, not dwelling in the past, but God
• 11:08
  Speaker 1: wants us to knowledge. He wants us to knowledge. Yeah,
• 11:12
  Speaker 1: we may have went through some stuff, the pain, but
• 11:14
  Speaker 1: he urges us and he urges them to not remain
• 11:19
  Speaker 1: stuck in it. Don't stay there. Things happen, Yeah, dush
• 11:24
  Speaker 1: yourself out, pick yourself up, keep going. And he calls
• 11:28
  Speaker 1: us to look with fresh eyes at what he is doing,
• 11:33
  Speaker 1: what he wants to do, and how we can move
• 11:35
  Speaker 1: past it. We gotta understand a promise is a new miracle.
• 11:41
  Speaker 1: While God performed mighty acts before, like Exodus, he promised
• 11:46
  Speaker 1: an evil, greater delibriance, not a repeat of the past,
• 11:50
  Speaker 1: but something entirely new and unexpected. Y'all. He said we
• 11:54
  Speaker 1: should do great things. Huh. He said we should do
• 11:57
  Speaker 1: great things. He didn't say we was gonna do what
• 12:00
  Speaker 1: that did in the Bible, because all experience is going
• 12:02
  Speaker 1: to be our experience. And he says it's not going
• 12:05
  Speaker 1: to be repeat of the past. And he reminds us
• 12:09
  Speaker 1: that how the earth was destroyed before, it's not going
• 12:12
  Speaker 1: to be destroyed like that again. And he sometimes, you know,
• 12:15
  Speaker 1: even though we may be out in a wilderness or
• 12:19
  Speaker 1: we may see a desert, we have to understand that
• 12:24
  Speaker 1: God declares hope for his people. He even in the
• 12:29
  Speaker 1: lowest point, he promises not just to repeat the old miracles,
• 12:33
  Speaker 1: but to create new pasts, new life, and new beginnings
• 12:36
  Speaker 1: even in places that it seems impossible. We have to
• 12:40
  Speaker 1: understand that we serve a possible God. That it is
• 12:43
  Speaker 1: becoming a timeless encouragement of all believers facing this that
• 12:48
  Speaker 1: even if we feel like we're in exile or in
• 12:50
  Speaker 1: the willerness, we have to be assured that God is
• 12:52
  Speaker 1: always able to make things happen and allow us to
• 12:56
  Speaker 1: move forward. So the three things that I want you
• 12:59
  Speaker 1: guys to take take away from this today. First, I
• 13:03
  Speaker 1: want you to know that God brings new beginnings even
• 13:07
  Speaker 1: when everything seems hopeless. God specialized in creating new opportunities.
• 13:12
  Speaker 1: For the Israelites being exiled and Babylon. It was a
• 13:16
  Speaker 1: time of despair. They felt cut off from the homeland,
• 13:20
  Speaker 1: they felt cut off from their temple. They felt like
• 13:23
  Speaker 1: they couldnot identify as God's chosen people. Yet through Isaiah,
• 13:30
  Speaker 1: God reminds them that their story is not over. So
• 13:34
  Speaker 1: if you're hearing this today, understand that your story is
• 13:38
  Speaker 1: not over. For us today, this means that no matter
• 13:42
  Speaker 1: how impossible, our situation may look. Whether it's a broken relationship,
• 13:47
  Speaker 1: whether it's financial difficults or lost dreams. God can bring
• 13:52
  Speaker 1: about a brand new start. His ability to create and
• 13:56
  Speaker 1: restore a greater than our limitations in our past. We
• 14:00
  Speaker 1: gotta look past that. We gotta know that. He said,
• 14:03
  Speaker 1: if we just have the faith the size of a
• 14:06
  Speaker 1: musta see, y'all, we can move mountains. Not only that,
• 14:10
  Speaker 1: your perception matters. God's movement are not always obvious. Sometimes
• 14:18
  Speaker 1: his new work begins quietly in small, almost unnoticeable ways.
• 14:24
  Speaker 1: A conversation and unexpected opportunity, a shift in within our hearts,
• 14:30
  Speaker 1: and just to shift, a little shift. That's why we
• 14:35
  Speaker 1: have to understand his word. It says, do not be perceived,
• 14:40
  Speaker 1: do not perceive it. God invites us to be spiritually alert,
• 14:46
  Speaker 1: looking for signs of his activity and being open to
• 14:49
  Speaker 1: possibility he's unfolding. This is a call for us to
• 14:54
  Speaker 1: walk by faith and not by sight, cultivating an attitude
• 14:58
  Speaker 1: of expectation and gratitude. Y'all, we should be thankful other
• 15:02
  Speaker 1: little things. Often we look back and we realize that
• 15:05
  Speaker 1: God was always working long before we can even visualize
• 15:10
  Speaker 1: the results. By staying sensitive to his leading we position
• 15:16
  Speaker 1: ourselves to join in in his way this new thing
• 15:22
  Speaker 1: as it began to spring forth in us, y'all, Above
• 15:26
  Speaker 1: all things, we have to hope in unlikely places, understanding
• 15:31
  Speaker 1: that God is yet moving. Look, I want you to
• 15:38
  Speaker 1: just allow your imaginary, your imagination to make the streams
• 15:45
  Speaker 1: of the wasteland. Y'all, understand that it's powerful. God does
• 15:49
  Speaker 1: not only work in places that already have potential. He
• 15:53
  Speaker 1: brings life where there may be none, or where there
• 15:56
  Speaker 1: Sineings like there may be none for the Israelites will
• 16:00
  Speaker 1: symbolize danger, dryness, and dissolution. Yet God promises refreshed, He
• 16:07
  Speaker 1: promises provision. Even there, it shows that nothing in our lives,
• 16:12
  Speaker 1: no habits, no relationships, no situations, no place it's too
• 16:18
  Speaker 1: gone or too far gone for him. God can bring hope, healing,
• 16:23
  Speaker 1: and blessings in any most unexpected and unlikely circumstance. When
• 16:29
  Speaker 1: we feel stuck in a wayte land, when we feel
• 16:35
  Speaker 1: that everything is going to ray, we can trust that
• 16:39
  Speaker 1: God sees what we're doing, and he sees what we
• 16:43
  Speaker 1: don't see. He is all ready and able to bring
• 16:48
  Speaker 1: forth newness in abundance right where we are. So each
• 16:52
  Speaker 1: one of these takeaways. It reminds us in Isaiah forty
• 16:56
  Speaker 1: three and nine. It's not just a promise of ancient
• 17:00
  Speaker 1: but it's an ongoing invitation for us today to trust
• 17:05
  Speaker 1: in God's power renew, restore, refresh our lives right now,
• 17:11
  Speaker 1: and no matter what we face, he has the power
• 17:13
  Speaker 1: to do that. And we have to understand that. How
• 17:16
  Speaker 1: can we apply this word to our life? How can
• 17:20
  Speaker 1: we apply it right now? What can we do to
• 17:24
  Speaker 1: activate that faith right now in our lives? How can
• 17:27
  Speaker 1: we apply it? In details? We got to look for
• 17:31
  Speaker 1: the new things detailing account, it says, start each day
• 17:36
  Speaker 1: intentionally with the quiet moment of prayer or reflection. Look,
• 17:42
  Speaker 1: you got to ask God to make you aware of
• 17:45
  Speaker 1: the fresh things that He's doing in your life. This
• 17:48
  Speaker 1: could be as as simple as a answer prayer, an
• 17:52
  Speaker 1: unexpected smile from a stranger, and new opportunity at your job,
• 17:58
  Speaker 1: or a gentle nudge towards a person the growth. Keep
• 18:01
  Speaker 1: a new thing journal, y'all journal it down. Keep notes
• 18:06
  Speaker 1: of the things that God is doing. At the end
• 18:08
  Speaker 1: of each day, y'all write down those moments that you
• 18:11
  Speaker 1: felt God's hand at work, even if it seems ordinary.
• 18:17
  Speaker 1: Because God often moves in a soter way. Over time,
• 18:22
  Speaker 1: you will begin to notice a pattern of blessings and
• 18:25
  Speaker 1: growth that you might have otherwise overlooked. This habit increases
• 18:30
  Speaker 1: your faith and awakens you to how God continually weeds
• 18:35
  Speaker 1: newness and hope into your journey, even in a difficult season.
• 18:41
  Speaker 1: You got to understand that He's yet moving. The second thing,
• 18:46
  Speaker 1: how can you release the past? Because a lot of
• 18:49
  Speaker 1: us are holding on to the past. We're holding on
• 18:53
  Speaker 1: to things that that that God has delivered us from
• 18:57
  Speaker 1: and things that meant us this are meant to cause distraction,
• 19:03
  Speaker 1: but we not. We gotta learn how to live without regrets,
• 19:07
  Speaker 1: to not hanging on to past disappointments because those things
• 19:14
  Speaker 1: can make it hard to see what God is doing
• 19:16
  Speaker 1: next for us. So each morning, take a deep breath,
• 19:22
  Speaker 1: make a deliberate choice to forgive yourself. Yeah, forgive yourself,
• 19:29
  Speaker 1: delivered choice. Choose to forgive you and then forgive others.
• 19:36
  Speaker 1: Lay down your burdens, anything that belonged that that happened yesterday,
• 19:43
  Speaker 1: It belonged and yesterday, So lay it down and allowed
• 19:47
  Speaker 1: to stay in yesterday. This is not about forgiving what happened,
• 19:52
  Speaker 1: but about refusing to elect it define your now in
• 19:56
  Speaker 1: your present. By releasing your past you you can create
• 20:01
  Speaker 1: an emotional and spiritual place right now for God to
• 20:07
  Speaker 1: lovingly transform you. He can open your spirit and you
• 20:12
  Speaker 1: open yourself up for joy and new beginning again. If
• 20:16
  Speaker 1: you start your day off by forgiving yourself, forgiving others,
• 20:22
  Speaker 1: and laying your burdens down, all that that happened in yesterday,
• 20:27
  Speaker 1: let it go, Let it go so that you can
• 20:30
  Speaker 1: receive your new joy, so that you can receive your
• 20:34
  Speaker 1: new beginning. And not only that, y'all, you got to
• 20:38
  Speaker 1: learn how to utilize Proverbs eighteen and sixteen. He said,
• 20:42
  Speaker 1: we had the power to speak life. We had the
• 20:45
  Speaker 1: power to speak life and death. So I choose to
• 20:47
  Speaker 1: speak life. And how do you speak life when you're
• 20:52
  Speaker 1: hit with challenging when challenges come at you, when you
• 20:56
  Speaker 1: have those moments, that stressful job situation, an argument that
• 21:01
  Speaker 1: may come up, or a season where you just may
• 21:04
  Speaker 1: feel uncertain, y'all, it's easy to slip into a season
• 21:09

  Speaker 1: But rather than anchoring ourselves in the hardship and the difficults,
