A brush fire erupted Friday afternoon near Highway 19 in Gilliam County, rapidly threatening homes along Rhea Lane and Hulden Lane—prompting immediate Level Three “Go Now” evacuation orders. Residents from Highway 19 to Highway 74 were told to flee immediately, while those north of Rhea Lane and east of Highway 19 were under a Level Two “Get Set” alert.
