- 0:00Speaker 1: Mister New York Hey, that's marks alone sevent ten wards.
- 0:07Speaker 2: That was yesterday. That's Thursday, well not almost over. The
- 0:11Speaker 2: weekend is almost. Remember it's a three day weekend coming
- 0:14Speaker 2: up Martin Luther King Day on Monday. So now, as
- 0:20Speaker 2: we told you yesterday, the committee looking at Jeffrey Epstein
- 0:24Speaker 2: has asked for months and months and months to have
- 0:26Speaker 2: Bill and Hillary Clinton come testify. Donald Trump had very
- 0:31Speaker 2: little to do with Jeffrey Epstein. He knew him briefly
- 0:34Speaker 2: in the beginning, cut him off, threw him out of
- 0:38Speaker 2: mar A Lago. He knew him for a year or two.
- 0:40Speaker 2: That was And then you're talking about back in the
- 0:42Speaker 2: you know, twenty five years ago, it was the Clintons
- 0:45Speaker 2: that had a very close friendship or whatever it was,
- 0:48Speaker 2: relationship with Epstein, business who, whatever it was, it was
- 0:53Speaker 2: continuing until the end. The Clinton's very close to Epstein.
- 0:58Speaker 2: And in the case of Trump, Epstein became a wealthy guy,
- 1:03Speaker 2: went to Palm Beach, and if you're a very wealthy
- 1:06Speaker 2: guy in Palm Beach, one of the first things you
- 1:08Speaker 2: do is join mar A Lago and they started hanging
- 1:10Speaker 2: around there. That's where Trump got to know him. And
- 1:12Speaker 2: here in New York. Epstein would throw these great parties
- 1:15Speaker 2: or be at these great parties, and you get a
- 1:18Speaker 2: certain charm to him. I always found him kind of sleazy,
- 1:21Speaker 2: but he was spending a lot of money. So you know,
- 1:25Speaker 2: if you own a club, a country club, a mar
- 1:28Speaker 2: a lago, a resort, and a guy comes and has
- 1:31Speaker 2: a ton of money and he seems to be spending
- 1:33Speaker 2: it in your place, you're nice to him, you're friendly
- 1:36Speaker 2: with him. And all the pictures you see with Trump
- 1:38Speaker 2: are all at parties. So if there was a big
- 1:41Speaker 2: party in the ballroom, you know Trump would come down
- 1:45Speaker 2: spend a few minutes with the guy. It's perfectly normal.
- 1:47Speaker 2: You know, if you're the biggest spender in Las Vegas,
- 1:51Speaker 2: when you go to the hotel, the head of the
- 1:53Speaker 2: hotel will come down and talk to you for a
- 1:55Speaker 2: few minutes, see if you need anything. It's that kind
- 1:57Speaker 2: of relationship, and Trump did that with a lot of
- 2:01Speaker 2: There was a very very very wealthy guy who got married,
- 2:06Speaker 2: and this is when Trump owned the plaza. I remember
- 2:08Speaker 2: he threw a wedding that was unbelievable. He must have
- 2:11Speaker 2: spent twenty million on this wedding. I mean it was unbelievable.
- 2:15Speaker 2: It was like seventeen famous bands in a row. It
- 2:18Speaker 2: was like Chicago, followed by Tavares, followed by the Ojays.
- 2:23Speaker 2: I mean, you hired all these band It was just unbelievable.
- 2:26Speaker 2: The food, the money. This is in the Plaza Hotel
- 2:29Speaker 2: ballroom and it was about midnight and Trump shows up
- 2:32Speaker 2: and I said, what are you doing here? I didn't
- 2:34Speaker 2: know you know this guy because I don't know the guy.
- 2:35Speaker 2: He said, but he's spending a fortune. He's a great customer.
- 2:39Speaker 2: I want to say hello to him. I want to
- 2:40Speaker 2: see if he needs me to do anything at his wedding,
- 2:42Speaker 2: say a few words, take pictures, whatever. So you just
- 2:45Speaker 2: do that. And that's kind of relationship he had with Epstein. Now,
- 2:48Speaker 2: the Clinton's had a long relationship that continued at the
- 2:51Speaker 2: very end. It was Epstein that formed the Clinton Foundation,
- 2:55Speaker 2: the Clinton Global Initiative, put the whole thing together.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Sell.
- 3:00Speaker 2: This committee has asked the Clintons to come in and
- 3:03Speaker 2: testify about Epstein. It's not that they're being accused of anything.
- 3:07Speaker 2: You just like to have them shed some light on
- 3:10Speaker 2: the whole situation. They've refused and refused, and refused and
- 3:14Speaker 2: refused and refused to come in. Even some left wing
- 3:18Speaker 2: people getting upset. John Stewart on the show said the
- 3:20Speaker 2: Clinton should apps a blank and lutely comply with Epstein's subpoenas. Absolutely,
- 3:26Speaker 2: they should comply, he said, everybody should comply. These are
- 3:31Speaker 2: victims of these heinous cases, should finally get some justice.
- 3:35Speaker 2: So everybody's screaming for the Clintons to testify. They have
- 3:37Speaker 2: absolutely refused. They've defied Congress. Steve Bannon did it, Peter
- 3:43Speaker 2: Navarro defied Congress, and they went to jail for it,
- 3:45Speaker 2: so that something's got to happen to Clinton's Here's the
- 3:47Speaker 2: committee chairman, James Comer.
- 3:49Speaker 3: I think what's most disappointing to the Oversight Committee is
- 3:53Speaker 3: the fact that we have in good faith negotiated with
- 3:56Speaker 3: the Clinton's attorneys for five months. Throughout the past five months,
- 4:01Speaker 3: they've applied to us. They were trying to make a
- 4:03Speaker 3: date work.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Yeah, well now they're not coming. They've actually told them
- 4:08Speaker 2: they're not coming. So what do you do they refuse
- 4:09Speaker 2: to come? Drop up contempt charges contempt to Congress. Here's Comer.
- 4:15Speaker 3: We're going to vote on it in committee Wednesday, so
- 4:17Speaker 3: we're giving plenty of notice. We're having a mark up,
- 4:20Speaker 3: a regularly scheduled markup for the House Oversight Committee. We
- 4:24Speaker 3: will mark up criminal contimpt of Congress chargers for both
- 4:28Speaker 3: Clintons for defying a legal subpoena.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Okay, now, the problem is if they charge them, who
- 4:35Speaker 2: does the prosecuting, Well, it'll go to the district attorney
- 4:39Speaker 2: in Washington, d C. Guess who that is, Jenine Piro. Now, remember,
- 4:44Speaker 2: as I explained to you yesterday, it was the Clintons
- 4:46Speaker 2: that put her husband in jail in a ridiculous case.
- 4:52Speaker 2: He didn't deserve to go to jail. It was some
- 4:54Speaker 2: you know, whatever they charged them with. Whenever I had
- 4:56Speaker 2: asked people in his attorney's office, where are the hell
- 4:58Speaker 2: did discharge come from? And they said that was something
- 5:00Speaker 2: lying around for years ago. Nobody in the office thought
- 5:03Speaker 2: it was anything. But it was the Clintons, and they
- 5:05Speaker 2: got a conviction, and they sent her husband to jail,
- 5:09Speaker 2: so she would be the one coming after them. It's
- 5:12Speaker 2: not going to be good. Not going to be good.
- 5:14Speaker 2: The husband was later pardoned that he's no longer found
- 5:17Speaker 2: he's a good guy. He didn't deserve any of that.
- 5:19Speaker 2: But this is not going to go well. For the Clintons. Now,
- 5:22Speaker 2: the Clinton's only argument will be something like, we don't
- 5:27Speaker 2: feel that a ex president, a former president, should be
- 5:30Speaker 2: forced to testify in front of Congress. But that doesn't
- 5:34Speaker 2: pass the smell test or the laugh test or any
- 5:37Speaker 2: of that. So you remember two days ago the President
- 5:41Speaker 2: visited the Ford plant in Dearborn, Michigan. Bill Ford the
- 5:45Speaker 2: chairman walking him around the plant and then also the CEO.
- 5:51Speaker 2: They're touring the plant. Went on for about an hour. Well,
- 5:53Speaker 2: at one point a Ford factory worker yelled something awful
- 5:57Speaker 2: at the President, like you're a pedophile protectory, Why you're
- 6:01Speaker 2: protecting pedophiles? Something ridiculous, ugly moment, and the President actually
- 6:06Speaker 2: gave him the finger. I know it's not presidential, you're
- 6:09Speaker 2: not supposed to do that, but you know what he
- 6:11Speaker 2: did it Well, Ford, you know, thought this was a
- 6:16Speaker 2: horrible thing. They were televising this whole thing, cameras were rolling.
- 6:21Speaker 2: They thought it was just awful for Ford. It made
- 6:23Speaker 2: Ford look terrible. So they suspended the worker. And I
- 6:28Speaker 2: don't think that's unfair. I think that would happen, you
- 6:30Speaker 2: know if here at any iHeart or at any corporation,
- 6:34Speaker 2: if you were having some big formal ceremony and an
- 6:37Speaker 2: employee yelled out something awful and disrupted the ceremony. Well,
- 6:42Speaker 2: they'd probably suspend you too. And if it were something
- 6:45Speaker 2: where a big dignitary was coming and you disrupted it,
- 6:48Speaker 2: I'm sure they would suspend you. And if the President
- 6:50Speaker 2: of the United States and there's cameras rolling, of course
- 6:53Speaker 2: they would suspend you. So it's not unfair. Uh, The
- 6:58Speaker 2: United Auto Workers says it's real viewing the employee's suspension.
- 7:02Speaker 2: But here's the interesting part. Democrats, crazy left wing people
- 7:05Speaker 2: all over the country started two different go Fundme pages
- 7:09Speaker 2: for the suspended worker and they've raised near nearly eight
- 7:13Speaker 2: hundred thousand dollars eight hundred thousand, which is probably four
- 7:18Speaker 2: or five years salary for this guy. It's actually a
- 7:22Speaker 2: good way to get a lot of money out of
- 7:23Speaker 2: democrats pockets, you know. And these go fundme pages. The
- 7:28Speaker 2: wife of Renee Good got something like one point five
- 7:31Speaker 2: million from these go fundme things. Just do something outrageous
- 7:35Speaker 2: and these liberals will contribute like crazy. But we'll see
- 7:41Speaker 2: what happens. And we'll see, now, is that a tip?
- 7:46Speaker 2: There's no tax on tips. But we'll see if he
- 7:49Speaker 2: ends up declaring that money or even taking it. Now,
- 7:52Speaker 2: you know, Mark Kelly is the senator who started that
- 7:56Speaker 2: crazy video about if you're giving an illegal order, don't
- 8:00Speaker 2: obey it, and what they call them the Insurrection five
- 8:05Speaker 2: or the seditious the Seditious seven or whatever they were,
- 8:09Speaker 2: those democrats on that video telling the military if they
- 8:12Speaker 2: think their orders illegal, not to obey. Well, Pete Hegseath
- 8:17Speaker 2: has demoted Mark Kelly's former military but there's still a
- 8:21Speaker 2: way you can demote him, and it does cut his
- 8:25Speaker 2: pension a little. So Mark Kelly is now suing Pete Hegseath.
- 8:31Speaker 2: He's suing the Defense Department. I guess attorneys have looked
- 8:35Speaker 2: at this, I mean smart, great attorneys say he's got
- 8:37Speaker 2: no case at all. He said, hex of this is
- 8:41Speaker 2: attempting to punish a sitting member of the Senate committee
- 8:44Speaker 2: for criticizing the president. Well, this is why he've got
- 8:46Speaker 2: no case. It's not over criticizing a president. Everybody in
- 8:50Speaker 2: Congress criticizes the president all day and night, so that's
- 8:54Speaker 2: not unusual. This would be for creating seditious conditions. Now,
- 9:00Speaker 2: the problem was, there are no illegal orders being given.
- 9:03Speaker 2: There's never been a hint of any illegal orders being given.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Even Kelly can't point to anything. So if you're putting
- 9:09Speaker 2: out these propaganda videos urging military not to comply with
- 9:13Speaker 2: orders they think might be, it's putting it in their head.
- 9:17Speaker 2: It's creating this whole false climate that there might be
- 9:20Speaker 2: illegal orders. So I can understand Hexa's thinking, here, you
- 9:23Speaker 2: got to stop this kind of seditious behavior. The lawsuit
- 9:27Speaker 2: will go absolutely nowhere, got no chance at all. Do
- 9:31Speaker 2: you have a Verizon phone? Did you go through this
- 9:34Speaker 2: outage yesterday? One hundred and seventy thousand customers for twelve
- 9:38Speaker 2: hours had no service in Seattle, Atlanta, New York, Chicago, Boston,
- 9:44Speaker 2: Los Angeles, Washington, DC. You'd get that SOS. By the way,
- 9:47Speaker 2: if you have an iPhone and you have no signal
- 9:52Speaker 2: at all, you can still use this. There's a satellite feature.
- 9:55Speaker 2: It's built in when you go to SOS mode. If
- 9:58Speaker 2: it says SOS mode in an absolute emergency, that will
- 10:01Speaker 2: go to a satellite and get your help if you
- 10:04Speaker 2: need it. One reason to get an iPhone. But could
- 10:07Speaker 2: you imagine your cell service goes out for twelve hours?
- 10:10Speaker 2: What you'd have to go through, You'd have to actually
- 10:12Speaker 2: talk to people. You'd have to actually not use your
- 10:15Speaker 2: phone and just go through life looking at everything, talking
- 10:20Speaker 2: to everything, not taking pictures, not reading, just enjoying life,
- 10:25Speaker 2: just like people used to do years ago. It's hard
- 10:28Speaker 2: to go back and think about that. If this were
- 10:31Speaker 2: nineteen ninety two, well, there were a few cell phones then,
- 10:36Speaker 2: but all you could do is make a call on
- 10:37Speaker 2: let's say it was nineteen eighty seven, there was nobody
- 10:39Speaker 2: on a mobile phone. What the hell did you do
- 10:42Speaker 2: all day? What did you do when you were on
- 10:45Speaker 2: the train or what did you do when you're waiting
- 10:48Speaker 2: in the airport. I'm trying to well, I guess you
- 10:50Speaker 2: had to bring stuff with you. You had to bring books,
- 10:53Speaker 2: you had to bring magazines, which means you had to
- 10:56Speaker 2: carry all this stuff around. But when you got home,
- 11:00Speaker 2: what did you do? Well, you could watch TV. You
- 11:04Speaker 2: could make some phone calls, but that was it. That
- 11:08Speaker 2: was absolutely all you could do. Now, what if you're
- 11:11Speaker 2: watching TV they talked about something that was in you said, wow,
- 11:14Speaker 2: I didn't know. Let me go look that up. Now
- 11:17Speaker 2: you just go right to the computer and google it.
- 11:19Speaker 2: What did you do then, Well, I don't know what
- 11:23Speaker 2: could you do? Maybe you had some books that would
- 11:24Speaker 2: have it in there, but probably not. Probably. Where would
- 11:26Speaker 2: you go to a bookstore the next day? A library? What?
- 11:29Speaker 2: There was nothing you could do? How did we live
- 11:31Speaker 2: like that? How did we even do a radio show?
- 11:34Speaker 4: Look?
- 11:34Speaker 2: I got all these computers in front of me with
- 11:36Speaker 2: everything on him. How did we do anything back then?
- 11:40Speaker 2: I really don't know. How did we? Uh? I guess
- 11:43Speaker 2: we had newspapers stacked up, and every newsroom had a million, big,
- 11:47Speaker 2: huge books, all these almanacs and all these sort of
- 11:50Speaker 2: things up there. Zorain Mamdani talks to the president all
- 11:54Speaker 2: the time, but he's still crazy. Mom, Donni listen, I'm
- 12:00Speaker 2: yelling and screaming at a rally about Tom Holman. It
- 12:12Speaker 2: sounds like a reasonable guy doesn't eat now. Tom Holman
- 12:15Speaker 2: was asked about Mam Donnie.
- 12:16Speaker 5: I have not met with the mayor in New York City.
- 12:18Speaker 5: I did meet with the mayor, the prior mayor Eric Adam,
- 12:21Speaker 5: because he asked for me. So we'll see what happens.
- 12:25Speaker 5: So I have not met with Mndonnie. The only time
- 12:26Speaker 5: I've ever seen him it's up in Albany and New
- 12:29Speaker 5: York before he ran from mayor. And you're screaming and
- 12:30Speaker 5: yelling and fishing his way through state. Please try to
- 12:32Speaker 5: get a moment with me, but I was too busy.
- 12:35Speaker 5: Mahapp'm and ignore him.
- 12:37Speaker 2: No, I can't imagine if they met two guys more incompatible.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Mom Donnie the young elitist left wing kook Ivy League,
- 12:46Speaker 2: and the old lunch bucket upstate New York, Tom Holman,
- 12:50Speaker 2: sort of a guy. So the President is threatening to
- 12:52Speaker 2: cut funding for ICE front four states if they fight ICE,
- 12:58Speaker 2: if they don't follow the law. He's threatening to cut
- 13:01Speaker 2: their funding if you try to be a sanctuary city.
- 13:04Speaker 6: Additionally, starting February first, we're not making any payments to
- 13:08Speaker 6: sanctuary cities or states having sanctuary cities because they do
- 13:13Speaker 6: everything possible to protect criminals at the expense of American
- 13:17Speaker 6: citizens and it breeds fraud and crime and all of
- 13:20Speaker 6: the other problems that comes. So we're not making any
- 13:22Speaker 6: payment to anybody that supports sanctuary cities.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Yeah, some of that payment is locked in through congressionals,
- 13:29Speaker 2: but a lot of it isn't, and that funds transit
- 13:32Speaker 2: all sorts of stuff. What would that do to a city, Mamdani?
- 13:36Speaker 4: Any cut in funding would have a significant impact on
- 13:39Speaker 4: the city's ability to not only fulfill the budget that
- 13:42Speaker 4: it has today, but also to fulfill an agenda that
- 13:44Speaker 4: would ensure that more New Yorkers can afford to stay
- 13:46Speaker 4: in the city.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Here's hopel.
- 13:49Speaker 1: This is just a threat to intimidate states like New
- 13:52Speaker 1: York into bowing into submission, and that is something we'll
- 13:56Speaker 1: never do. So I say this, you touch any more
- 14:00Speaker 1: money from the State of New York, we'll see you
- 14:01Speaker 1: in court.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Oh my god, Now she's right. It is intimidation, trying
- 14:08Speaker 2: to get her to bow. And yeah, what he's trying
- 14:10Speaker 2: to get her to do is actually follow American law,
- 14:13Speaker 2: enforce American laws. That's what he wants to do. Follow
- 14:17Speaker 2: the law, enforce the law. She can go to court,
- 14:21Speaker 2: she can sue. The top legal scholars of the world
- 14:24Speaker 2: have all said the lawsuit would have absolutely no chance
- 14:28Speaker 2: of succeeding. But does that stop mom, Donnie.
- 14:32Speaker 4: Our values and our laws cannot be bargaining chips. I
- 14:38Speaker 4: will always defend the city and every single person who
- 14:41Speaker 4: calls the city home, even in the face of threats
- 14:44Speaker 4: from the federal administration to withhold funds.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Our values are laws. But the problem is it's the
- 14:49Speaker 2: president wants the law enforced. It's Mom Donnie that wants
- 14:52Speaker 2: the law ignored. You know, if they get into court,
- 14:54Speaker 2: they might find out this whole sanctuary city thing is
- 14:58Speaker 2: totally illegal, saying January City sanctuary from the law is
- 15:02Speaker 2: totally unconstitutional. So if I were them, I wouldn't try this. Hey,
- 15:07Speaker 2: when we come back, we'll take some calls. Eight hundred
- 15:10Speaker 2: three two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight
- 15:13Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten,
