- 0:13Speaker 1: This is a beautiful day.
- 0:15Speaker 1: I want to start at the beginning of time.
- 0:20Speaker 1: A few weeks ago I had spoken about creation, but today is different and I am going to the book of Genesis, the first chapter, the second and third verse.
- 0:36Speaker 1: It says the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep and the spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.
- 0:49Speaker 1: And then God said let there be light, and there was light.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Hallelujah Another version says the earth was formless and void and darkness was over the surface of the deep and the spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.
- 1:12Speaker 1: And then God said let there be light, and there was light.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I want to tell you the earth did not exist as we know it today.
- 1:22Speaker 1: The Bible says formless and void, but the Bible says the spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.
- 1:40Speaker 1: And you never.
- 1:41Speaker 1: If you never want to know about creation, you can go ahead and read the book of Genesis, the first chapter itself.
- 1:52Speaker 1: And then there was light and God separated the light from the darkness, and that's how day and night happens.
- 2:03Speaker 1: And then God created land from the waters and then he created the heavens, and then vegetation, plants and trees, and then God created the sea creatures, the birds of the air, the beasts of the ground and everything that crawls creation happening.
- 2:34Speaker 1: But right now I am going to leave you with this God speaking the word and things happening as they were spoken.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I told you in your time you go ahead and read the book of Genesis, the first chapter.
- 2:56Speaker 1: You can just read it and it's all about creation.
- 2:59Speaker 1: But I want to tell you that God is speaking the word and it's happening as they being spoken and every time God speaks the words, the Bible says and it was so, oh, hallelujah.
- 3:12Speaker 1: And I told you I am going to leave you with this and I am going to come back to it and I would like to go straight into the book of wisdom in the Bible.
- 3:26Speaker 1: The book of Proverbs is the book of wisdom in the Bible and the book of Proverbs, the 18th chapter, the 24th verse, says a man of too many friends comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
- 3:43Speaker 1: You and I have a friend that sticks closer than a brother.
- 3:54Speaker 1: The Bible says Ecclesiastes, 4th chapter, the 9th to the 12th verse, and you really should mark out the scripture.
- 4:09Speaker 1: It's a beautiful, beautiful scripture, and I'm reading it out to you directly from the word of God Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Or two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor, for if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion, but woe to the one who falls that does not have anyone to lift him.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Furthermore, if two lie down together, they keep warm.
- 4:43Speaker 1: But how can one be warm alone?
- 4:46Speaker 1: And if anyone can overpower him, who is alone?
- 4:51Speaker 1: Who can resist him?
- 4:53Speaker 1: A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Oh hallelujah, what a beautiful passage of scripture.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Ecclesiastes, 4th chapter, the 9th to the 12th verse, and it's basically going on to talk about the fact that what happens when you are alone?
- 5:18Speaker 1: You fall, but when there are two, one will lift up the other, one will lift up the companion.
- 5:32Speaker 1: And if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
- 5:43Speaker 1: But instead, how can one be warm alone?
- 5:45Speaker 1: And this is beautiful.
- 5:49Speaker 1: If anyone can overpower one who is alone, two will resist him.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Oh hallelujah, what a beautiful passage of scripture.
- 5:58Speaker 1: And I want to tell you this even when Jesus was on this planet, when he was on earth, his disciples, he sent them out to spread the good news and the kingdom of heaven, and he put them in pairs.
- 6:09Speaker 1: You go read the Bible if you're not sure about it.
- 6:13Speaker 1: He put them in pairs, he put them in dos and he gave them authority over unclean spirits to cast out and heal every kind of sickness and every kind of disease.
- 6:27Speaker 1: And he sent them out in pairs, oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Jesus knew something about having a companion and which is why he sent them out in pairs.
- 6:50Speaker 1: And don't miss it.
- 6:50Speaker 1: And I told you in the very beginning go and mark the scripture from Ecclesiastes and read it and meditate on it, and it will give you a revelation of all kinds.
- 7:00Speaker 1: But nevertheless, I'm going to reveal it to you today.
- 7:06Speaker 1: And as I said, when Jesus was on this planet, he sent his disciples out in pairs to preach the kingdom of God, to preach the good news, to spread the good news, and he gives them authority over all unclean spirits to cast them out and he gives them authority to heal every kind of sickness and every kind of disease.
- 7:27Speaker 1: The Bible says and then there is this time where he's telling his disciples about his fate and what is going to happen to him.
- 7:40Speaker 1: And I want you this morning, on this day, to put yourselves in their position and just imagine how his disciples would feel.
- 7:52Speaker 1: The twelve of them, and they've been with him from the beginning.
- 7:56Speaker 1: They've been handpicked, they have been with the Messiah, they have been with the Creator, and they all had left everything behind to follow him.
- 8:11Speaker 1: And with him they experienced signs, miracles and wonders through Jesus.
- 8:20Speaker 1: And now Jesus is telling them that he's going to be hung on a cross and he's going to give up his life and that on the third day he will be raised and he will go to heaven and sit at the right hand of God.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Oh, hallelujah to that.
- 8:43Speaker 1: But can you just imagine what his disciples would have gone through when he told them this?
- 8:49Speaker 1: And they must have been shattered and broken and scared.
- 9:01Speaker 1: And, oh, what are we going to do without you, lord, master?
- 9:07Speaker 1: But this beautiful morning I want to tell you Jesus is about hope, and he gives them hope from John, the 14th chapter of the 26th verse.
- 9:19Speaker 1: But the helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name, o Hallelujah, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you, o beautiful.
- 9:39Speaker 1: And the next verse says Peace.
- 9:42Speaker 1: I leave with you my peace I give to you.
- 9:45Speaker 1: What does the world give do I give to you?
- 9:49Speaker 1: Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful, o Hallelujah.
- 9:57Speaker 1: But the helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you, o Hallelujah.
- 10:16Speaker 1: He has not left you alone at all, and when you put your faith in Jesus and this is the beautiful hope that I am here to share this morning you always have help In the words of Jesus, not mine.
- 10:32Speaker 1: The helper, the Holy Spirit, who the Father will send in my name, o.
- 10:37Speaker 1: And then he tells them in the 16th verse.
- 10:41Speaker 1: But I tell you the truth it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the helper will not come to you, but if I go, I will send him to you, o Hallelujah, o.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I tell you the truth.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You know when Jesus says, verily, verily, pay attention.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Truly, truly, I say unto you pay attention.
- 11:04Speaker 1: And he is telling you today, this morning.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I tell you the truth it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the helper will not come to you, but if I go, I will send him to you.
- 11:16Speaker 1: O, hallelujah, o.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Of course Jesus knew what was about to happen to him.
- 11:21Speaker 1: He chose to come on this planet.
- 11:23Speaker 1: It was not chance, it was not force.
- 11:25Speaker 1: He knew his fate, he knew what was going to happen to him.
- 11:31Speaker 1: But this morning I told you, and this day I told you I'm here to give you the good news oh, he sent us a helper.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Oh, he sent us the Holy Spirit.
- 11:47Speaker 1: And today, you and I, the ones who put their faith in the name of Jesus and what was done on that cross, that he gave his life up for us and that on the third day he rose and today he seated at the right hand of God.
- 12:01Speaker 1: If you put your faith in that, I am here to tell you this morning that you have a helper and you have a friend that sticks closer than the brother.
- 12:10Speaker 1: You and I today have the Holy Spirit with us.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Oh, hallelujah.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Oh, you have a helper.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Oh, he didn't leave you alone.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Oh, the Bible says he'll never leave you nor forsake you.
- 12:29Speaker 1: He's left you, the Holy Spirit.
- 12:34Speaker 1: He's left me the Holy Spirit.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Oh, hallelujah, and let me tell you this morning about this beautiful, gentle spirit of the Lord, and I want to show you this morning, through the word of God, who was at your right hand this morning.
- 12:54Speaker 1: He's at your right hand this day and he will be there forevermore.
- 12:57Speaker 1: It's not me, it's in the word of God.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Oh hallelujah, the Spirit of the Lord will rest on him as I 11-2.
- 13:11Speaker 1: The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and strength, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord, the Spirit of God with you.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Excuse me, you have the Spirit of God for your journey on this planet.
- 13:35Speaker 1: The Spirit of wisdom, the Spirit of understanding, the wisdom and understanding of the Most High, the Spirit of strength and knowledge.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Oh, you are not weak, you have the Spirit of strength and the Spirit of knowledge.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Hallelujah, second Timothy one seven says, for God has not given us a spirit of fear or timidity, but of power and of love and of sound mind.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Oh, you don't have a spirit of fear with you.
- 14:21Speaker 1: As I told you, for this journey, this time that you have on this planet, your helper is with you, he's at your right hand, and you don't have a spirit of fear, but instead you have a spirit of power and the Spirit of love and the Spirit of sound mind.
- 14:44Speaker 1: You don't need to go to worldly wisdom, you have the wisdom of the Most High with you.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Oh hallelujah, romans 8, 15 says for you have not received the spirit of slavery leading to fear again.
- 15:01Speaker 1: See yet again, you do not have fear in you, for you have not received the spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received the spirit of adoption as sons, oh hallelujah, by which we cry out our father.
- 15:18Speaker 1: The spirit himself testifies, with our spirit, that we are children of God, and if children is also as of God, fellow heirs in Christ.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah, oh.
- 15:39Speaker 1: You don't have a spirit of fear, you don't have a spirit of slavery.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Nothing can hold you down, nothing can keep you in bondage.
- 15:48Speaker 1: That's the spirit that you have with you, that is your helper.
- 15:51Speaker 1: You have a spirit of adoption as sons, oh hallelujah, by which we cry out our father.
- 16:08Speaker 1: The spirit himself testifies, with our spirit, that we are children of God.
- 16:13Speaker 1: We are the children of the most high, and if children is also as of God, fellow heirs in Christ, oh hallelujah.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Oh, you meditate on this.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Oh, you think about it and you understand it.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Oh, god knows you need help, jesus knows you need help and which is why, to our advantage, when he goes, he sends the helper.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Oh hallelujah, oh, some of you can feel him this morning.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Oh, beautiful Hallelujah.
- 16:55Speaker 1: When I started, I told you that I would come back to the topic of creation, and when God spoke the words, who do you think was bringing it to completion?
- 17:10Speaker 1: Who do you think was bringing it to completion?
- 17:18Speaker 1: The spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
- 17:22Speaker 1: The spirit of God, oh, the spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, was bringing it to completion.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Oh, hallelujah.
- 17:30Speaker 1: And I want you to understand this beautiful day, this beautiful day when this has been revealed to you, the spirit that made creation happen, the spirit of the most high, that same spirit, the helper, oh, that very same spirit is with you today and he will be with you forevermore.
- 17:50Speaker 1: And it's not me saying this to you, it's the word of God.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah.
- 18:02Speaker 1: And I'm reading the scripture from Ecclesiastes yet again this morning.
- 18:05Speaker 1: For you, two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor, for if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion, but go to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Furthermore, if two lie down together, they keep warm.
- 18:29Speaker 1: How can one be warm alone?
- 18:31Speaker 1: And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Oh, hallelujah.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Oh, jesus knew this, which is why he sent his helper with you.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Oh, you are always, oh, you always have company with you.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Understand that through the word of God.
- 18:53Speaker 1: This morning, I told you it's not me, it's the word of God.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Oh, we are human.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Oh, we can be tempted, we can be.
- 19:05Speaker 1: That's why.
- 19:08Speaker 1: That's why, to overcome Him, the Bible says to overcome Him, go back to Ecclesiastes and read it in your time.
- 19:16Speaker 1: The Bible says to overcome Him, there is a companion.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Oh, hallelujah, now you get it.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Oh, he's defeated.
- 19:25Speaker 1: He can't do anything to you, but nevertheless, in case he decides to come your way, you have your companion and with two, oh, you will overcome.
- 19:35Speaker 1: I'm here this beautiful day to tell you your helper, oh, the beautiful, beautiful Spirit of God, oh, the same Spirit that made creation happen, oh, that Spirit is your helper.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Jesus knew it.
- 19:50Speaker 1: He knew you need help, which is why he said I am going to my Father, I will sit at the right hand and it's to your advantage that I go, because then I will send you my helper and he will always be with you, and His Word says he's at your right hand.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Hallelujah, dear Lord, I thank you for your beautiful word.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Lord, I thank you for your double-edged sword, most of all this beautiful morning.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Lord, I thank you that you sent us a helper.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Lord, I thank you, lord, for your Spirit that's on this platform.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Lord, I thank you for your Spirit that's in everyone's home.
- 20:29Speaker 1: I thank you for your beautiful, beautiful Spirit that's at our right hand this morning.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Lord, that testifies, that testifies of you, lord, that testifies the truth of you, lord that speaks through us, oh Lord, in remembrance of you, and makes us as as to your kingdom.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Oh Lord, thank you, jesus.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Thank you for what you did on that cross for us.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Lord, thank you for this beautiful day where your mercies are new every morning.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Your grace is new every morning.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Thank you, lord, for our friend that sticks closer than the brother that you have provided to us.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Thank you for your beautiful presence here this morning, lord.
- 21:23Speaker 1: On this day, jesus, may my prayer be in you.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Amen.
