- 0:48So we are talking Transurfing on Tuesday.
- 0:52Today we are discussing lifelines and how to move to a better and different lifeline.
- 0:58Also known as getting out of that slump.
- 1:01The quote of today is this and taken from the book reality trans.
- 1:07The feeling of clarity, without words, knowledge, without faith and confidence, without hesitation comes from the unity that exists between heart and mind.
- 1:19When you experience this state, you sense your own oneness with the silent force that rules the universe.
- 1:27This force catches you and carries you into a sector where the subject of agreement between heart and mind can be manifest.
- 1:37It is essential that you give yourself permission to have what you want.
- 1:43So even if you freed yourself from the clutches of the pendulums, freedom of choice may still lie beyond the limits of your comfort zone.
- 1:53It seems too unreal, too implausible to have the freedom of choice in a world of pendulums in your heart.
- 2:00You probably do not believe that achieving a remote goal is down to a personal choice.
- 2:06However, Positive slides can help include the plausible into your comfort zone.
- 2:14When the idea that any dream is achievable, no longer makes you uneasy.
- 2:19Doubt will melt away and faith will be transformed into knowledge.
- 2:23The heart will come into harmony with the mind and the will to have shall appear.
- 2:29That is the Vadim Zealand in Reality Transurfing who said that.
- 2:34Let me tell you a story about a slump.
- 2:38Oh, my, I have been in a slump lately.
- 2:41The story we tell ourselves can be the very thing that prevents us from giving ourselves permission to have what we are wanting.
- 2:50What do I mean by that?
- 2:53First off.
- 2:53Let me explain what a slump is in baseball terms.
- 2:56Of course, because, well, you know, baseball is my absolute favorite sport and I love this metaphor.
- 3:05In baseball, a batter can be defined as slumping when he or she has gotten few or no hits over a period of time and his, or her batting average during that time is far below that, of their expectations.
- 3:21Every single one of us can.
- 3:22And does frequently experience hitting slumps metaphorically speaking.
- 3:29We have hit homers and our batting average has gotten super high.
- 3:33And then all of a sudden crickets, and this was me.

- 4:07I sure hope to see you there.
- 4:10So how does one handle that slump?
- 4:12What a great question.
- 4:14And I'll get to what I did in a minute, but let's explain what batters do to get out of a slump so we can continue with this metaphor.
- 4:23Here are four tips to breaking out of a hitting slump.
- 4:28Take a consistent approach.
- 4:29Number one.
- 4:31Good hitters, take a consistent approach to hitting the baseball.
- 4:34Consistent action is key here as babe Ruth said, don't let the fear striking out.
- 4:40Keep you from playing the game.
- 4:43Number two connect for line drives.
- 4:47The best way to get out of a slump is to concentrate on hitting line drives.
- 4:52We can fall back into our habits when it comes to connecting to line drives a good batter.
- 4:58One that hits a slump and will have habits instilled in his memory.
- 5:03Instead of shooting for the home runs, we shoot for connecting with the ball.
- 5:10Number three, wait for a good pitch.
- 5:12Sometimes we have to sit back and wait and the freedom of choice of an actual good pitch coming your way may still lie beyond the limits of your comfort zone.
- 5:23It seems too unreal to implausible, to have freedom of choice in a world of pendulums.
- 5:29In your heart, you probably do not believe that achieving a remote goal.
- 5:34Also known as a good pitch is down to personal choice.
- 5:39So what is one to do?
- 5:42Number four, stay confident.
- 5:45And how does one do that?
- 5:48Picture yourself in a positive slide.
- 5:50Use your imagination because a positive slide can help include the implausible into your comfort zone.
- 6:01So what happened to me while in that slump?
- 6:04Well, at first I played the waiting game.
- 6:07What I decided to do while in the slump is simply wait.
- 6:11I was waiting for a good pitch.
- 6:14I would sit at my computer, start a project, then jump to something else.
- 6:18I actually had monkey mind.
- 6:21That's something else could have been anything from a new window going on a hunt for some other topic or grabbing my phone and checking emails or checking social media.
- 6:33For me, this was not good.
- 6:35But while waiting, I got stuck even deeper.
- 6:39I was hitting foul balls.
- 6:41I was making contact, but I was not even hitting those line drives.
- 6:46I was even striking out.
- 6:49However I needed to go there.
- 6:53I'm a member of Joseph Rodriguez mastermind and on Fridays at three o'clock, we have a Q and a session with Joseph.
- 7:01My question was, what do we do when we get outta flow?
- 7:05Because a slump is simply getting out of flow.
- 7:08And boy was I sliding deep into that hole since our meeting was still three days away, I began thinking to myself, what would Joseph recommend?
- 7:19And then it came to me, intuitively so.
- 7:23He would tell me to go listen to his flow series on YouTube.
- 7:27And that's exactly what I did.
- 7:29And that was enough of a push to get me out of the slump.
- 7:33In other words, that was a good pitch.
- 7:36I had been waiting for.
- 7:39Another sign came from my heart and intuition was to re-listen to the book.
- 7:45Choose Your Story Change Your Life by Kindra Hall.
- 7:48This in turn helped me to connect to those line drives.
- 7:52How?
- 7:53Well I began to unravel the awful story I was telling myself I was falling victim to all kinds of stories.
- 8:01I was getting lazy with my habits.
- 8:03I was falling for that dopamine hit of emails, social media, and the new window on my computer.
- 8:11During this awful time.
- 8:12I learned something though about myself.
- 8:15I was listening way too closely to the negative stories and not enough to the positive ones.
- 8:21We all do this.
- 8:22You know, it happens because of that dang negativity bias.
- 8:27And I talk about this all the time.
- 8:29This simply means that we entertain the negatives so much easier than the positive, because well, it has to do with our survival and safety mechanism and it's passed down from our ancestors.
- 8:43Remember Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi says in his book Flow.
- 8:47Control your inner experience which is your mind, and you will be able to determine the quality of your life, which as close as any of us can come to being happy.
- 9:00This is on my homepage on my website and the basic premise of Stop the Mind Screw.
- 9:06Vadim says in our quote today, Positive slides can help include the implausible into your comfort zone when the idea that any dream is achievable no longer makes you uneasy.
- 9:22Doubt will melt away and faith will be transformed into knowledge.
- 9:27The heart will come into harmony with the mind and the will to have shall appear.
- 9:35I began to picture a positive slide of myself, creating something for my business.
- 9:40I pictured myself sitting at my computer and creating an awesome presentation.
- 9:46This one positive slide.
- 9:50Helped tremendously.
- 9:52I began to shift.
- 9:53I gave myself another evening off and I told myself tomorrow I will begin and I will take action.
- 10:00And that's exactly what I did.
- 10:02And guess what?
- 10:04I felt that slump lifting, I felt the doubt melt away.
- 10:08My faith was transformed into knowledge.
- 10:11My heart came into harmony with my mind and I am back in flow.
- 10:17By the way I didn't hear Joseph's answer to my question until three days later.
- 10:24And I had already written the article for this post, but I can tell you, he did tell me to go listen to his flow series, but he also told me to create a mind map, which is kind of what I did.
- 10:36He says, create a mind map, take.
- 10:39The big project down to the little parts that a mind map will do and move from there.
- 10:46And that's exactly what I had envisioned by doing that.
- 10:50And I got back in harmony with my heart and mind.
- 10:54And like I said, when I wrote all my stuff down for my article, I have a very strong feeling that I will be hitting that project.
- 11:03I'm working on out of the park, just as my heart intended.
- 11:10All right.
- 11:10That's my episode for today.
- 11:12I hope you liked it.
- 11:13Thank you for spending part of your day with me.
- 11:16If you know someone who can benefit from this, please share it with them.
- 11:20And until next time I'll see you next time.
- 11:24Peace Out and Namaste.
