- 0:00SPEAKER_00: At some point, everything looks normal, stops feeling like good news, and it starts feeling like a dead end.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: For women with IBS, you know exactly what I mean.
- 0:09SPEAKER_00: You've stopped traveling, you scope out bathrooms before you agree to make any plans or go anywhere.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: You've left dinners early, skipped weddings, stopped doing the things that you love because your gut can't be trusted for two hours in a row.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: And every doctor you have seen has looked at your results and told you that everything is fine.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: I've worked with over 500 women with chronic diarrhea, urgency, and cramping, and almost all of them came back in with a stack of clean test results.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: After seeing that same presentation over and over, I started understanding exactly why it keeps happening.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: The tests your doctors ordered were built to find specific things.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: They find those things very well, but what they leave out entirely is a different story.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: And that is the reason that your symptoms have never had an explanation.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: I'm going to show you what those tests actually measure.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: They were never designed to look for and what happens when someone finally looks in the right place.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: By the end of this video, everything looks normal will never sound like good news to you again.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: You know how the conventional logic goes if the colonoscopy is clear, the blood work was normal, and the stool culture came back negative, then nothing's wrong.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: The tests are tests, the doctors ran them, the results are clean.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: The natural conclusion is that your gut's fine.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: Nobody tells you what the tests were actually looking for.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: Nobody tells you what they were never designed to find.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: So you walk out assuming that the picture is complete when it was never complete to begin with.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: Clean results mean that the tests found nothing.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: They do not mean that nothing's there.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: Normal isn't a finding.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: Normal is the limit of what got tested.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: So, what did those tests actually leave out?
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: Everything about the living environment inside your gut.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: None of that shows up on a colonoscopy or a standard stool test because those tests were never built to look for it.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: There's an entire dimension of gut health that those tests were never designed to assess.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: And that dimension is where your symptoms are living.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: Most women assume that if something were wrong, seriously wrong, that modern medicine would have found it by now.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: Standard GI testing was built around a single model of disease.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: Find the structural problem, treat the structural problem.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: Colonoscopy, endoscopy, CT scans, stool tests, those are tools that are excellent at what they were designed for.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: But for chronic IBS, almost nothing ever comes from structural damage.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: It's coming from a completely different category of dysfunction.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: And to understand what that category is, you need to understand what the gut is actually doing on a normal day.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: Your gut contains somewhere between 38 and 100 trillion microorganisms.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Bacteria, yeast, funguses, and other organisms living in a system that has to stay in a specific balance to function.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: When that balance holds, the beneficial bacteria produce compounds called short chain fatty acids, like butyrate, proprienate, that feed the cells lining your colon.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: They regulate inflammation and they keep your bowel movements formed and predictable.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: They also crowd out harmful species.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: They train the gut immune system and they maintain the integrity of the gut lining itself.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: That gut lining is a single cell layer thick, one cell thick.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: Its job is to let nutrients through while keeping everything else out.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: When the bacterial balance shifts and the bacterial species are depleted, that lining becomes compromised.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: Gaps open up at a microscopic level, bacterial toxins, undigested food particles, and inflammatory compounds that are supposed to stay inside the gut start crossing into the bloodstream.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: The immune system detects them, treats them as invaders, and it mounts a response.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: That response creates inflammation.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: That inflammation destabilizes your motility.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: And a destabilized motility in a gut that's already compromised produces exactly what you've been living with.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: Urgency, loose stool, cramping that hits without any warning.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: This is the living environment inside your gut.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: And standard testing doesn't assess any of it.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: None, not at all.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: Your gut has never been tested.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: It's just been photographed.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: So what does that environment actually look like in a woman who has had clean results for years while their symptoms never resolved?
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: That's exactly what advanced functional testing reveals.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: And what it consistently finds is significant, specific, and entirely explainable once you're looking at the right data.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: Before we get to what that testing actually finds, here's how to know whether this applies specifically to your situation.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: If you want more videos like this, actual explanations of what is happening inside your gut and why standard medicine keeps missing it, hit subscribe.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: That's exactly what this channel is for.
- 4:55SPEAKER_00: IBS is not actually a finding.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: It's a medical shoulder shrug with a name, and you left that appointment knowing as little about why your gut is doing this as you did when you walked in.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: So let me ask you, have you had a colonoscopy or endoscopy that came back normal while your symptoms were definitely not normal?
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: Have you been told you have IBS without anyone explaining what is causing the irritation?
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: Has your doctor run a basic stool test but never looked for yeast, mold, parasites, pathogenic bacterial overgrowth specifically?
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: Do your symptoms get worse without any clear pattern, regardless of what you eat or how well you manage stress?
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: Have you tried multiple treatments or diets and gotten either no relief or temporary relief that were off?
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: If you answered yes to most of those, the testing that has been done has told you what is not there.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: It has not told you what is there.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: That is not a clean bill of health.
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: It's an incomplete picture.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: And an incomplete picture means that the thing driving your symptoms has never actually been looked for directly.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: Here's what it actually looks like when someone finally runs the right tests and finds what the standard workups left behind.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: When you assess the gut environment, the answers are almost always right there.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: Functional testing measures what's living inside the gut at a species level.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: Bacterial species, yeast, parasites, the pH, short chain fatty acids, immune markers, detox pathways, gut lining integrity.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: That data tells you what the gut is actually doing functionally.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: A colonoscopy can't get close to answering those questions.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: The pattern I see consistently in women with years of clean standard results is this: significant overgrowths of inflammatory bacterial species, proteus, klebsiella, enterococcus.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: These bacteria produce compounds called lipopolysaccharides.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: They're toxins that come off of the outer membrane and they get released directly into the gut lining.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: These trigger the immune system aggressively.
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: They drive inflammation in the gut lining.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: They speed up motility as the body tries to flush the irritant out.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: That's not a sensitive gut.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: That's a gut that's responding the way it's supposed to respond to something genuinely harmful inside.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: At the same time, the keystone bacterial species are almost always depleted.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: These are the bacteria that produce the butyrate, the short chain fatty acid that feeds the cell lining, the colon, and that keeps the single cell thick barrier intact.
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: Without adequate butyrate production, the gut lining is weak.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: Those microscopic gaps actually open up, and now the toxins, the harmful bacteria they're producing, have a direct route into your bloodstream instead of being contained inside of your gut.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: Alongside that, candida overgrowth.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: In many cases, candida releases compounds called aldehydes that inflame the gut lining independently and create their own layer of immune activation.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: Parasites, in more cases than most people expect, a direct mechanical driver of unpredictable urgent diarrhea, and secretory IgA, the gut's frontline immune protein, severely depleted, meaning that the gut has lost its primary ability to identify and neutralize threats before they can take hold.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: Every single one of those findings is measurable with the right test.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: Every single one was invisible on every standard test that was run before.
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: Not because it wasn't there, but because nobody used a tool designed to look for it.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: Stop treating a clean colonoscopy as a complete assessment of gut health.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: It rules out structural disease.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: It rules out nothing that I just described.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: Get the gut environment assessed with functional testing.
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: That test maps bacterial species, yeast, pH, fatty acids, immune markers, parasites, and detox pathways.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: That's the data that makes a targeted protocol possible.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: Not another elimination diet aimed at managing your symptoms, but a plan built around what your gut specifically contains.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: Here's exactly what to do with that starting tonight.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: When the right testing shows what is inside your gut, a targeted plan becomes possible.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: Not a generic plan, a plan for what your gut specifically has.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: When you know what's actually happening inside your gut, the diarrhea stops being a mystery and it becomes a problem with a specific answer.
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: Women who have been running their lives around the bathroom for years, they start having formed bowel movements again.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: Not because they tried harder, but because they finally had the right information.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: So you have two options tonight.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: Pull up every lab result and test report you have from your GI doctor.
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: Look at what each test was called.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: Then ask yourself whether any of them were designed to measure bacterial species, yeast, parasites, keystone bacteria, pH, fatty acid levels.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: You'll have your answer in about five minutes.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: Or you can call your doctor tomorrow and ask one question.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: Have you ever tested me for bacterial overgrowth, yeast, parasites, depleted keystone bacteria, the pH, fatty acids, and listen to the answer.
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: That answer will tell you everything you need to know about whether the right question has ever been asked about your gut.
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: Either way, by tomorrow, you'll know exactly where you stand.
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: You are not someone with an unexplainable gut.
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: You're someone whose gut has never been properly explained.
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: The tests came back normal because they were looking at the wrong things.
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: And that's not the end of your story.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: That's just where the right testing starts.
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: If this helped you understand why clean results do not mean a clean gut, go watch this next video.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: It covers exactly what women with IBS are doing every single day that makes the symptoms worse.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: It's linked right here on the screen.
