Speaker 1: absolute faithfulness. That's a big statement, stripping off every unnecessary

Speaker 1: weight and the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us. Right,

Speaker 1: every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and

Speaker 1: cleverly entangles us. Let us run with endurance and active

Speaker 1: persistence the race that is set before us, looking away

Speaker 1: from all that will distract us, and focusing our eyes

Speaker 1: on Jesus. Very important to stay focused on the Lord.

Speaker 1: of faith, the first incentive for our belief, and the

Speaker 1: don't know about a polished off gospel that a lot

Speaker 1: of churches are starting to trend that is so neat

Speaker 1: and everything is so like set up great and all

Speaker 1: that stuff. Cross was a messy, gruesome place man, and Jesus,

Speaker 1: he says, because of the Cross, he disregarded the shame,

Speaker 1: disregarded the shame. So while we're walking around in shame,

Speaker 1: this race that's marked out for us. Man, Let's equip

Speaker 1: each other with this love, with this truth. Jesus said,

Speaker 1: for who for the joy set for him, adored the cross,

Speaker 1: us know that we're equipped for the task. We equipped

Speaker 1: for the battle. We can move forward. Man, we could

Speaker 1: Kingdom of God and people are relying on us, man,

Speaker 1: and don't let that be a lot of pressure. Sometimes

Speaker 1: I feel pressure because, like I said, everywhere I go,

Speaker 1: everywhere I go, when I see people who haven't seen

Speaker 1: for years, they come up to me and say, do

Speaker 1: you remember me? Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. And

Speaker 1: they say they bring their friend, their fiancee, their family

Speaker 1: and say, hey, this is past the Sam And I

Speaker 1: always look at them and say, I don't know why

Speaker 1: I'm not a pastor, but I get it, man, it's

Speaker 1: been happening for years. I get it. I get it.

Speaker 1: Maybe it's because I'm equipped. So sometimes I feel that

Speaker 1: pressure to, you know, I don't know, just to show

Speaker 1: up sometimes as a pastor. Not a pastor, never claims

Speaker 1: to be one. Amen. But I'm an advantage that I

Speaker 1: as a pastor. Maybe's internet pastor a podcast pastor a

Speaker 1: people will recognize your strength and people will recognize your weakness.

Speaker 1: other as saints so that way we can all recognize

Speaker 1: years ago when our daughter Faith went to be with

Speaker 1: the Lord, we was in Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and

Speaker 1: our daughter took a last breath in the hospital bed

Speaker 1: over there, and the first thing we did was we

Speaker 1: called our pastor. And it was late at night. He

Speaker 1: wasn't feeling well, but he still answered the phone and

Speaker 1: he said, you know what happened. He wanted to know

Speaker 1: what was going on. He knew the situation we were

Speaker 1: facing with our daughter. And I remember like it was yesterday.

Speaker 1: He said, well, Sam, you did everything that you could.

Speaker 1: You trusted, you had faith. He prayed Amen. We prayed

Speaker 1: as well, he said, and we believed for God to

Speaker 1: do what he had to do. Amen. And it seemed

Speaker 1: like that was the final word on it, because God

Speaker 1: always gets the final word. So he said, you did

Speaker 1: everything you could. He said, stand. He said, now stand,

Speaker 1: and man, I felt the comfort of God. I felt

Speaker 1: the encouragement of God. I was hurt, I was disappointed,

Speaker 1: but I'm still standing because that word just hit me. Man.

Speaker 1: and not for us to just go away and just

Speaker 1: we're still unified, we still have power, we still have mercy, grace,

Speaker 1: we still serve the right God, the living, holy, truly

Speaker 1: loving God, and we're ready for it. I love my

Speaker 1: So we equip each other by praying for one another,

Speaker 1: loving one another, sharing the Word with one another. Bible studies, right,

Speaker 1: community events, fellowship events, maybe just sitting down and listening

Speaker 1: to somebody else's story, maybe sitting down and fellowship and

Speaker 1: with other believers, and make sure you surround yourself. The

Speaker 1: Bible says surround yourself with a great cloud of witnesses,

Speaker 1: surround yourselves with people of black mind. But it never

Speaker 1: says to stay out of the reach of an unbeliever.

Speaker 1: Can you imagine just having Christian communities all over town,

Speaker 1: all over the city, all over the state, and never

Speaker 1: associate with the unbeliever? What sense would that make? How

Speaker 1: would they hear the gospel? How would they even know

Speaker 1: who we are? How would they know about who we serve?

Speaker 1: How would they know about the Lord Jesus? If we're

Speaker 1: just click and standing just with one another. I don't

Speaker 1: think the Bible ever promotes that. I know, the Bible

Speaker 1: says to come together, stand together, be united, when the

Speaker 1: the world. Absolutely opposite. The Bible commissions us, the Word
