- 0:39Speaker 2: So you've got to give me some good advice. You
- 0:41Speaker 2: got to give listeners. You've learned so much.
- 0:43Speaker 3: What's your colonel, what's your neuggative advice to people that
- 0:46Speaker 3: might be going through this.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Kind of thing.
- 0:48Speaker 4: I mean, honestly, I.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Don't die, don't give up? How about don't give up?
- 0:57Speaker 3: Better days are coming well?
- 0:59Speaker 4: I mean I had a dark days, Like I was like,
- 1:01Speaker 4: what is my purpose? Like, yes, you know why am
- 1:05Speaker 4: I here? I stay in bed all day. I've just
- 1:08Speaker 4: spent all my money on my savings on doctors, Like
- 1:12Speaker 4: I can't work at the moment, Like what is why?
- 1:17Speaker 2: Why?
- 1:17Speaker 4: In my ear? So now I'm like, I'm hosting dinners
- 1:21Speaker 4: for my son and his girlfriend. I would not you know, baby, baby,
- 1:26Speaker 4: it's gonna be I'm excited, Like I was excited to
- 1:30Speaker 4: put on a pair of type jeans because I've been
- 1:32Speaker 4: like roaming around in my COVID gear.
- 1:34Speaker 2: So I'm just like, are you exercising?
- 1:37Speaker 1: Can you actually get two weeks?
- 1:40Speaker 4: No? I haven't. But like, I don't want people to
- 1:43Speaker 4: hate me, but I'm just really naturally.
- 1:45Speaker 2: I do hate you right now.
- 1:48Speaker 4: I don't know. I'm like, I hate saying that, but
- 1:51Speaker 4: the doctor actually told me this. He's like, normally I
- 1:54Speaker 4: would want you to gain some weight first, but you're
- 1:58Speaker 4: so thin that we we don't have like we if
- 2:00Speaker 4: we took fat from an area, it would deform that
- 2:03Speaker 4: area to put fat.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Yeah, you can't do that.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Bab Yeah, do you want some of my fat? Brandy,
- 2:08Speaker 2: I've got plenty of share.
- 2:09Speaker 1: I would love she does friends. Have you seen her?
- 2:12Speaker 1: She's like a stick?
- 2:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't, wouldn't. Whenever anyone says I'm fat, I'm like.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Hooker Ready, I used to wait two hundred pounds. Trust me,
- 2:20Speaker 3: Now I look like a sharp pay It's tragic.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Oh my god, Well don't tell me.
- 2:25Speaker 4: I feel like I like I'm ready to like. I
- 2:29Speaker 4: did get a text last night from an old boyfriend. Ha, yes,
- 2:34Speaker 4: randomly he ran into my son. Because the guy is
- 2:38Speaker 4: thirteen years younger than me.
- 2:40Speaker 2: So you go, girl, Yeah, no, I mean there's.
- 2:43Speaker 4: Still the only guys that asked me out are younger guys.
- 2:45Speaker 4: Good like I don't like everyone my age is dating
- 2:49Speaker 4: like a twenty year old.
- 2:51Speaker 2: So trust me.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Can I just tell you, Brandy, it doesn't change shed
- 2:56Speaker 3: just fault there.
- 2:57Speaker 4: I'm very aware.
- 2:58Speaker 3: I keep telling all the gold Olden's who are like,
- 3:01Speaker 3: you know, fifty eight sixty. If you want to get
- 3:03Speaker 3: married or you want to launch a relationship, luck it
- 3:06Speaker 3: down now because you know the five years they're dating
- 3:08Speaker 3: thirty year olds, right.
- 3:10Speaker 4: Or move to the Midwest, you like, move like somewhere
- 3:13Speaker 4: where they're I watched like a lot of true crime
- 3:16Speaker 4: and a lot of these cops are hot.
- 3:18Speaker 3: And you move to Queens. Move to Queens, Brandy, you'll
- 3:25Speaker 3: have your you know, you can have all your pick
- 3:26Speaker 3: of cops.
- 3:28Speaker 4: I don't really. My brother is a cop. I don't
- 3:30Speaker 4: want to date a cop because he's kind of a dick.
- 3:33Speaker 1: I would never date it police.
- 3:35Speaker 4: No, No, be either.
- 3:36Speaker 2: A firefighter.
- 3:38Speaker 4: I did date a firefighter that was hot.
- 3:40Speaker 2: My son's a firefighter. He's hot.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Yeah, they're hot, like they don't but they're like frat boys.
- 3:44Speaker 4: They're like, Hi, I love you, and they're going back
- 3:47Speaker 4: to the frat house to do for sure and watch
- 3:50Speaker 4: football until there's a fire, hang.
- 3:52Speaker 1: With the boys, right, what type of guy would you want?
- 3:56Speaker 1: You have a particular look, you know, honestly like self confident.
- 4:01Speaker 4: I need the fun police because I am a little wild,
- 4:06Speaker 4: so I need someone to kind of pull me back.
- 4:10Speaker 4: So and I've had that in the past, and my
- 4:13Speaker 4: friends were like, you know what, Yeah, you do need
- 4:17Speaker 4: a little bit of.
- 4:19Speaker 3: You know what, they say, opposite to track, opposites of track, brandy,
- 4:24Speaker 3: but not too.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Much of an I like, you need to be able
- 4:27Speaker 4: to have a good time, not take yourself so seriously,
- 4:30Speaker 4: take a joke. I love, I love funny people. It's
- 4:34Speaker 4: all about chemistry for me. I mean, I've mostly dated
- 4:38Speaker 4: very attractive men, but but not a comedian. No. God,
- 4:42Speaker 4: I did date a comedian and that was the hell.
- 4:45Speaker 2: It was so dark. I thought comedians aren't very funny
- 4:49Speaker 2: in real life.
- 4:49Speaker 1: They're right, And I always think they're big drinkers. Are
- 4:52Speaker 1: they big drinkers? Yes?
- 4:54Speaker 2: I mean not that we're generalizing here at all, of course, no, no, no.
- 4:58Speaker 4: But I mean stereotops to cite our stereotypes for our reason.
- 5:02Speaker 4: I mean that sounds horrible, but yes, like a lot
- 5:05Speaker 4: of comedians are dark, you know, like when they're not
- 5:08Speaker 4: on stage, they yeah, because they have to be They
- 5:12Speaker 4: feel like they have to be funny all of the time,
- 5:15Speaker 4: and so they do isolate, you know. Yes, then they're
- 5:19Speaker 4: like in a bad mood because or do you think
- 5:20Speaker 4: this is funny? Do you think you know? And it
- 5:22Speaker 4: wasn't fun. I mean, he was very funny, but it
- 5:26Speaker 4: wasn't fun when he wasn't on stage.
- 5:28Speaker 3: All right, So here's what we know so far. Yeah,
- 5:32Speaker 3: you want tall so you can wear your heels.
- 5:34Speaker 4: I don't care about tall. I don't need tall. I
- 5:36Speaker 4: need sense of humor. I need them to be able
- 5:40Speaker 4: to pay for dinner because I'm sicking, a sick of
- 5:43Speaker 4: picking up a check. Like I've dated waiters and uber
- 5:46Speaker 4: drivers like I don't you know, like what's the word? Like,
- 5:50Speaker 4: I don't discriminate, Like if you don't, like as long
- 5:53Speaker 4: as you're working in hustling, it's fine. But then you know,
- 5:58Speaker 4: I dated a guy that was, you know, looking for
- 6:01Speaker 4: a job, you know, and you know.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I go out.
- 6:05Speaker 4: I wouldn't eat a nice restaurant, So I'm d Once
- 6:08Speaker 4: you start picking up the bill. It never ends, and.
- 6:11Speaker 3: You don't want to go where the guy says, can
- 6:13Speaker 3: we go to happy hour and split an appetizer?
- 6:15Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that's not happening.
- 6:17Speaker 1: What about actors? Are they off the table since your ex?
- 6:21Speaker 4: Oh? Yeah, done, I'm done and done. I mean I
- 6:24Speaker 4: dated a few and that was before him, and I
- 6:27Speaker 4: dated a couple after him that happened to be his
- 6:29Speaker 4: friends on purpose.
- 6:33Speaker 2: That's called retribution right now.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Wait, I read an article recently, Susan, I think you
- 6:37Speaker 3: and I talked about this that women are going to
- 6:39Speaker 3: like medieval themed dinners so they can date the nights.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Would you do that kind of thing?
- 6:45Speaker 4: No, that sounds let's be on desperate to me, like
- 6:50Speaker 4: what I mean the nights, Like, what do they look like?
- 6:55Speaker 1: Yeah, you can't tell under the costume.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Oh so now we're down to that.
- 7:00Speaker 1: It look smatter to do You have to have a
- 7:02Speaker 1: physical attraction.
- 7:03Speaker 4: No, I have to have chemistry.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Yes.
- 7:06Speaker 4: I met a guy and he at first I was
- 7:10Speaker 4: like I saw him, I'm like nope, I'm out, And
- 7:13Speaker 4: then I sat through the dinner. I've never like left
- 7:16Speaker 4: a date like I'm not that girl. I think that's
- 7:18Speaker 4: just so horrible but the more we talked, I was like, Okay,
- 7:24Speaker 4: you're really you know, he's really smart. Then I found
- 7:27Speaker 4: out he happened to have a private plane. I'm like,
- 7:30Speaker 4: and you're my boyfriend.
- 7:32Speaker 2: And how did that work for you?
- 7:34Speaker 4: It was great for a year, and I loved him,
- 7:36Speaker 4: but I wasn't in love. But he literally he saved
- 7:42Speaker 4: my life. It was the year after my divorce, and
- 7:45Speaker 4: he was like so fun. We went to he had
- 7:49Speaker 4: properties everywhere, we were on planes, He's like, bring all
- 7:52Speaker 4: your friends.
- 7:53Speaker 2: I was like, he talked his number.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Yeah, I think he's dating a twenty year old. Oh god, yeah, so,
- 8:01Speaker 4: I mean, but he was the first. He was like
- 8:03Speaker 4: thirteen years older than me. And he's the only guy
- 8:06Speaker 4: I've dated that was older than me. I mean my
- 8:09Speaker 4: husband was the same, the same exact age, actually six
- 8:13Speaker 4: months younger. So he always like to throw that out there.
- 8:16Speaker 1: My ex husband did the same thing.
- 8:18Speaker 4: Yeah, like six months, but I was actually.
- 8:20Speaker 1: A few months.
- 8:22Speaker 2: That's a rounding air, but he.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Would yeah, he would say, that's.
- 8:25Speaker 2: A rounding air. That's like, you know, they got the
- 8:28Speaker 2: dates wrong in the pregnancy test. I mean, who cares.
- 8:31Speaker 4: I told him, like his mom had trouble like getting pregnant,
- 8:34Speaker 4: and so she was on hormones, and so she gave
- 8:37Speaker 4: birth to this like god, and they're like tiny little people.
- 8:41Speaker 4: And he's like six to one, perfect looking. And I'm like,
- 8:45Speaker 4: you know, you're not real. You're like a hormone baby.
- 8:48Speaker 1: It's like that makes it real.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Not real?
- 8:50Speaker 1: Yeah, the real.
- 8:52Speaker 4: No.
- 8:52Speaker 2: I just like for him because he's tooken like a
- 8:55Speaker 2: woman scorned. Yeah, no, he is not real yep.
- 8:58Speaker 4: And I told him his dimples were deformities. What if
- 9:03Speaker 4: you look Nonetheless, simples are like deformities, and so I
- 9:08Speaker 4: had to keep them down to keep them.
- 9:10Speaker 3: You know what I have to say, Brandy, If that
- 9:13Speaker 3: is the case, I love me a deformed many.
- 9:18Speaker 4: Hello. I married one and both my boys have dimples.
- 9:22Speaker 4: My son does too, like a dimple, Like I am
- 9:25Speaker 4: a sucker for a dimple, but I I yeah.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Okay, Susan, Brandy's gonna need our help if her main
- 9:33Speaker 3: feature for dating is a guy with the dimple, like
- 9:36Speaker 3: you and I we got.
- 9:37Speaker 4: To yeah, I'm honestly, like, I'm open. I don't have
- 9:43Speaker 4: a like I usually go for. I've never dated a
- 9:45Speaker 4: blonde guy like I usually go for a tall, dark
- 9:48Speaker 4: and handsome. Yes, like I'm open. I've dated a couple
- 9:53Speaker 4: of Jewish guys. I really, I really.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Like Jewish guys will treat you like a princess.
- 9:58Speaker 4: Yes, but I'm a and they'll never marry me. So
- 10:02Speaker 4: it's like, I don't know.
- 10:04Speaker 2: My father did oh.
- 10:05Speaker 4: Well, I mean that's rare.
- 10:07Speaker 1: It is.
- 10:08Speaker 3: Well, he had to first marry my mother and then
- 10:11Speaker 3: he was like, I don't care who she is, if
- 10:12Speaker 3: she's normal.
- 10:14Speaker 1: But at this stage of the game, at our ages,
- 10:16Speaker 1: who cares about the marriage part. You want somebody to
- 10:19Speaker 1: enjoy your life.
- 10:20Speaker 4: Yeah, the one that I love that like I could
- 10:24Speaker 4: have I was still in my thirties. It was after
- 10:27Speaker 4: my divorce. I could have, like I was, I loved him,
- 10:32Speaker 4: I would have like like you know, I don't know,
- 10:35Speaker 4: I think that it could have grown into something bigger.
- 10:38Speaker 4: But then he cheated on me and I had.
- 10:41Speaker 3: To go, I mean, you got I imagine you have
- 10:55Speaker 3: trust issues around cheating, around cheating and around I'm cheating me.
- 11:01Speaker 4: Yes, And I think I've actually scarred my poor boys
- 11:06Speaker 4: because like they are like the biggest gentleman in the world.
- 11:14Speaker 4: And my eighteen year old he's in acting and you know,
- 11:19Speaker 4: he's in his acting classes. Any I said, you know what,
- 11:21Speaker 4: you know what? You know he has a girlfriend as well,
- 11:24Speaker 4: and I said, you know it's not natural, like for
- 11:28Speaker 4: it's really hard to date an actor. Is Maggie going
- 11:32Speaker 4: to be okay with that? And He's like, yeah, I
- 11:35Speaker 4: just can't do any love scenes. I'm like, well, you
- 11:37Speaker 4: need to quit acting right now.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Then I can't do any love scenes.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Yes, And I'm like, but wait a minute, how old
- 11:45Speaker 2: is this sun?
- 11:46Speaker 4: He's eighteen?
- 11:47Speaker 2: I mean, do you really think this is the one
- 11:49Speaker 2: he's going to end up with? You better hope not.
- 11:51Speaker 4: I am not saying a damn word about that.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Okay, well I can. I haven't met him.
- 11:56Speaker 1: They might be listening.
- 11:58Speaker 4: No, they really don't. Actually, they stop my social media.
- 12:02Speaker 4: They know more than I know, because I don't even
- 12:04Speaker 4: do my own social media. I'm someone that does it
- 12:07Speaker 4: for me because I'm not social right now. This is
- 12:11Speaker 4: kind of my first interview since like the doctor's.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Office and just are we more fun than pulling the
- 12:18Speaker 2: tooth or what? Yeah?
- 12:20Speaker 4: I mean, I mean the anethesia part with the boobs
- 12:23Speaker 4: was pretty fun. I'm not gonna lie until I got
- 12:26Speaker 4: nauseous and had to have the medicine.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Yes, yes, I love that. I call it the Michael
- 12:31Speaker 1: Jackson drug. I go the first time I ever had it,
- 12:34Speaker 1: it was like, do you have any of this to go? Right?
- 12:38Speaker 3: I just don't understand why they don't tell you about
- 12:41Speaker 3: stool softener. It's not to get you know, when I've
- 12:43Speaker 3: had no Seriously, when I had breast lift and faced
- 12:48Speaker 3: on like, they're like.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Dear, you know, they don't tell you that.
- 12:51Speaker 3: I mean, I ended up in the hospital having animals
- 12:53Speaker 3: for God's sakes.
- 12:54Speaker 4: It's like it's I mean, I haven't had an issue,
- 12:59Speaker 4: but I didn't take like, I didn't take any pain
- 13:02Speaker 4: pills because they make me so ill. I mean too
- 13:06Speaker 4: they I can't take them. And honestly, it wasn't in pain.
- 13:09Speaker 4: It's just my arms are a little sore because he
- 13:12Speaker 4: had to scrape. He had to scrape my lymph. Notes.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Okay, when you're not do you go to the gym?
- 13:16Speaker 4: Like?
- 13:16Speaker 3: I know obviously right now you can. Are you a
- 13:18Speaker 3: gym rat? What do you do to work out when
- 13:20Speaker 3: you're no?
- 13:22Speaker 4: No, I walk round?
- 13:23Speaker 2: I have to coffee cup?
- 13:24Speaker 1: What about your favorite food?
- 13:26Speaker 2: Wait? You walk your dogs? That's your old exercise?
- 13:29Speaker 4: What I wear five pound ankle weights almost all day long,
- 13:33Speaker 4: every day.
- 13:34Speaker 2: That's called lunch for me.
- 13:37Speaker 4: No, like they really do. Because I did pilates for
- 13:40Speaker 4: thirteen years. I know, like like you know, after babies,
- 13:43Speaker 4: I could probably teach it at this point, but it
- 13:45Speaker 4: is so expensive. It's like, you know, one hundred dollars session.
- 13:50Speaker 4: I mean when you do privates because I have like
- 13:52Speaker 4: a back issue. You know, I have all these issues,
- 13:54Speaker 4: so I couldn't do the same as everyone else in
- 13:57Speaker 4: the class. So I you know, I did pilates. I
- 14:01Speaker 4: was a gymnast for nine years when I was young,
- 14:04Speaker 4: so I feel like I have muscle memory. So like
- 14:08Speaker 4: during COVID, I did gain twenty pounds and everyone including myself,
- 14:12Speaker 4: was in shock. I was like I didn't know I could. Like,
- 14:16Speaker 4: I was like, this is I mean crazy, And.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Did you feel good? Did you feel good? No?
- 14:22Speaker 4: Because I gained my weight in my mid section only you.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:29Speaker 4: I think it's hereditary, like my mom and my grandma
- 14:32Speaker 4: like that.
- 14:32Speaker 3: It's always after a menopause that's where they tend to
- 14:34Speaker 3: put it. But here's the thing, men, here's the good
- 14:37Speaker 3: news for you, brandy. Men. I have found don't care
- 14:42Speaker 3: as you get older. Care about they do not care.
- 14:45Speaker 3: They like a little something something. I'm telling you men,
- 14:49Speaker 3: men say that all the time. Not all the time,
- 14:53Speaker 3: but a lot of times. Menals say to me, you're
- 14:55Speaker 3: too thin and I'm not and all my weights in
- 14:58Speaker 3: my middle.
- 14:59Speaker 4: Well, well everyone right now is so mooty, delicious and
- 15:03Speaker 4: like everyone's all about like curves, and trust me, I
- 15:06Speaker 4: wish I had them. I paid for them and then
- 15:09Speaker 4: they exploded. So I'm like, okay, but I mean, I'm
- 15:15Speaker 4: happy with my body. I'm happy with my figure. I
- 15:19Speaker 4: have a little booty. It's cute.
- 15:22Speaker 2: See there's the confidence coming back right there.
- 15:24Speaker 4: You go there, I'm not like I've always felt lucky
- 15:29Speaker 4: to not have to work out for after babies. I
- 15:35Speaker 4: was like doing pilates because like pabic floor and all
- 15:38Speaker 4: that fun stuff.
- 15:38Speaker 3: Yeah, but I'm going to tell you men, I'm telling
- 15:42Speaker 3: you I am older than you, and men like a
- 15:44Speaker 3: fit woman's a fit woman. So get back in the
- 15:47Speaker 3: gym and start doing pushups when you can.
- 15:50Speaker 2: When you can.
- 15:51Speaker 1: That's hard. No, she won't be doing them for a while.
- 15:54Speaker 2: I said, when you can.
- 15:56Speaker 4: No, even when I'm not, I have like two pound pink.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Weights, Brandy, I try to do them off the bureau, Okay,
- 16:04Speaker 1: not on the floor working.
- 16:07Speaker 4: Out like I love a horizontal life, like I like,
- 16:10Speaker 4: walk on them, I walk on the beach, I like.
- 16:13Speaker 3: And you know what, she has no shortage of men,
- 16:15Speaker 3: and I work out. I am a gym rat and
- 16:18Speaker 3: I have a dearth of men.
- 16:19Speaker 2: So you know, all I want to say is I
- 16:21Speaker 2: don't know, but stop working out.
- 16:25Speaker 3: You have been It's a delight to meet you. You
- 16:28Speaker 3: have been so transparent both about your health and where
- 16:32Speaker 3: you are when it comes to love right now, and truly,
- 16:36Speaker 3: Susan and I are rooting for you.
- 16:37Speaker 2: You are fabulous. It's been a pleasure to meet you.
- 16:41Speaker 4: Oh thank you. I wish I had more like advice
- 16:43Speaker 4: for I mean, after my divorce I had if you guys,
- 16:46Speaker 4: get my first book, Drinking and Tweeting, all the advice you.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Need Drinking and Tweeting.
- 16:52Speaker 4: Yes, it's a New York Times number one bestseller.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Oh okay, my.
- 16:56Speaker 4: Second one was the number nine best seller. Sorry to say,
- 17:00Speaker 4: but that one. Don't get that one is not helpful.
- 17:06Speaker 4: That was called drinking and Dating, which I realize now
- 17:10Speaker 4: when I read it back, I'm like, yeah, this is
- 17:13Speaker 4: not that's not gonna it's like like learn from my
- 17:17Speaker 4: Mistakes kind of book.
- 17:18Speaker 3: Okay, Okay, I want you to do one thing today
- 17:22Speaker 3: before you go to bed.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Okay, I want.
- 17:24Speaker 3: You to look in the mirror and say, I am beautiful,
- 17:29Speaker 3: I am enough, and I'm beautiful and I am worth it.
- 17:33Speaker 3: Just any any iteration of those words every day, every day,
- 17:38Speaker 3: starting to day.
- 17:39Speaker 2: If you're not going to do pushups for me, then
- 17:41Speaker 2: you got to do that.
- 17:42Speaker 4: I was excited the other day because I put like
- 17:45Speaker 4: this infrared like belt on and I like stood up
- 17:49Speaker 4: and I was not looking at my body before, and
- 17:52Speaker 4: I was like, my waist is snatched. I'm like humans,
- 17:56Speaker 4: no where to go.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Oh well you will, though, Brandy, you will.
- 18:00Speaker 4: I think once I get my confidence up, I will
- 18:04Speaker 4: definitely be out like I have. All my friends they
- 18:07Speaker 4: want to go out. I'm just I'm getting there. I
- 18:11Speaker 4: just need this ringing in my ear to stop so
- 18:14Speaker 4: that I can hear them.
- 18:25Speaker 1: I do have one question. You did mention that an
- 18:27Speaker 1: ex boyfriend ran into one of your sons and reached
- 18:31Speaker 1: out to you. What was that about? What was that like?
- 18:34Speaker 1: Do you have a plan to see them or make.
- 18:36Speaker 4: A fat No?
- 18:37Speaker 1: Okay, best sex of my life and it's a big
- 18:41Speaker 1: fat no three years come.
- 18:44Speaker 4: On, no, Like, yeah, no.
- 18:46Speaker 1: It was what I've done, possibly tortuous.
- 18:51Speaker 3: I'll just say that, you know what, this is where
- 18:54Speaker 3: the nights kicks and you don't have to listen to them,
- 18:56Speaker 3: just do them.
- 18:58Speaker 4: I can't understand them anyways. Friends, I'm like, oh, what
- 19:01Speaker 4: are you saying? Shut up and do what you're doing.
- 19:03Speaker 2: I know all about that.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Are like Kathy, Yeah, yeah.
- 19:06Speaker 4: I love I love a European man. I do because
- 19:09Speaker 4: they're gentlemen. They open doors for you. Now like the guys,
- 19:13Speaker 4: they just they don't do it, and I just I
- 19:16Speaker 4: don't want a gentleman.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Everyone should.
- 19:19Speaker 4: Yeah, and then I get Homie throws me on the bed,
- 19:22Speaker 4: and yeah.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Then you can be rough, but in the meantime you're
- 19:25Speaker 1: a gentleman exactly.
- 19:27Speaker 4: Well, ladies, it was so good to meet you. And
- 19:30Speaker 4: I did watch the Golden Bachelor, but I like, my
- 19:33Speaker 4: brain is still fogged, but I do remember the one
- 19:37Speaker 4: lady that won, So I'm glad that you told her off.
- 19:43Speaker 2: No, she's she's fine, she's fine.
- 19:46Speaker 1: You know, we love them all. Everybody's unique in their
- 19:49Speaker 1: own way.
- 19:51Speaker 4: Okay, I'm not gonna lie. I don't love all that.
- 19:56Speaker 1: When you're ready to me too for a happy hour.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Yeah, let's do it. We went like once this ear,
- 20:03Speaker 2: you'll know me.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Wait, you'll know me, Brandy. Susan will be the ones
- 20:06Speaker 3: with the perky boobs. Mine will be the ones sitting
- 20:08Speaker 3: on my waist.
- 20:09Speaker 2: You won't, you won't.
- 20:10Speaker 4: You'll know who we are, and I don't know what
- 20:12Speaker 4: mine will be, but I do know that my my
- 20:15Speaker 4: sterile tape is like purple from my purple shampoo.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Okay, purple nipples.
- 20:21Speaker 4: But I'll see you ladies later.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Thank you again, love, Okay, we wish you the best.
- 20:27Speaker 4: Thank you so much.
- 20:28Speaker 2: You feel better, okay. So Susan, Yes, that was quite
- 20:32Speaker 2: the interview. We've never met her. I kind of feel
- 20:35Speaker 2: like she's one of our tribe. What did you think? Like,
- 20:37Speaker 2: what what's your takeaway?
- 20:40Speaker 1: You know me and my I felt bad for her.
- 20:43Speaker 1: I felt so bad for her. I mean, what a
- 20:46Speaker 1: dark place to be. It was one thing after another
- 20:49Speaker 1: after another, and not loving your own body. I mean,
- 20:54Speaker 1: your body's failing you because of something. At least she
- 20:57Speaker 1: was smart enough to take them out, but she still
- 21:00Speaker 1: not there.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Yeah, but she's so I had a different take on it.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Everything I've read says that she thought the breast implants
- 21:11Speaker 3: caused the quote unquote parasite or plural.
- 21:14Speaker 4: We did.
- 21:15Speaker 1: She didn't dive into that too much, no, she but
- 21:17Speaker 1: then she.
- 21:18Speaker 3: Said maybe it wasn't that. So you know, that's like
- 21:21Speaker 3: the question of the hour. I'm curious Brittany.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Had big blister, boiled pimple, and you didn't know why
- 21:28Speaker 1: she went through crazy.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Things with the same I gotta say one thing about
- 21:32Speaker 3: her dating. Obviously she's not in a position now to date,
- 21:36Speaker 3: but you know, you know.
- 21:37Speaker 2: She's coming back.
- 21:38Speaker 3: She's talking about the belt around her waist, she wants
- 21:40Speaker 3: to wear her stiletto heels. You know, here's the thing
- 21:43Speaker 3: that concerns me. Even though this is a podcast about dating.
- 21:47Speaker 3: You and I are further down the road than Brandy
- 21:50Speaker 3: in terms of parenting, right. And when she was saying
- 21:53Speaker 3: I'm gonna be wherever my boys are, I was like, honey,
- 21:57Speaker 3: you have no idea, because you and I both know
- 22:01Speaker 3: oftentimes it doesn't work out that way and you can't
- 22:05Speaker 3: make your life your children.
- 22:06Speaker 1: No, and your her ex husband is remarried and they
- 22:09Speaker 1: have a little family unit there, and that's probably torture
- 22:13Speaker 1: for her.
- 22:14Speaker 2: I didn't get the sense she was over him either,
- 22:18Speaker 2: did you.
- 22:19Speaker 1: I think he just shocked her when that happened. You know,
- 22:22Speaker 1: it's her world, Yes, it has, it has and I
- 22:26Speaker 1: think she is ready, like she probably hates him still,
- 22:30Speaker 1: she hates him now, but she's ready to find somebody.
- 22:34Speaker 1: She doesn't want to get married, and which is fine
- 22:36Speaker 1: that when you're over fifty enough you don't have to
- 22:40Speaker 1: get married, but you do want someone in your life.
- 22:43Speaker 4: You know.
- 22:43Speaker 2: I agree.
- 22:45Speaker 3: The other thing, I was talking with the guy the
- 22:47Speaker 3: other night and he was saying, which was lucky for me,
- 22:51Speaker 3: that he has learned that he prefers to date a widow,
- 22:57Speaker 3: lucky for me. And I asked him, yes he did,
- 23:02Speaker 3: He said because many and he's divorced himself, but he
- 23:05Speaker 3: said he's healed. Of course, men always come out of
- 23:07Speaker 3: it unscathed. He said that the women he's dated who
- 23:11Speaker 3: have been divorced have trust issues, anger issues, and he goes,
- 23:16Speaker 3: you know, I'm like in an age, I didn't cheat
- 23:19Speaker 3: on her. I didn't, you know, I don't want to
- 23:21Speaker 3: spend my time no, but he's yeah, but he no,
- 23:24Speaker 3: he's talking about that. I don't want to be the
- 23:28Speaker 3: what he said that like the punching bag that wasn't
- 23:30Speaker 3: already used for a woman who's gone through a terrible
- 23:34Speaker 3: divorce because of cheating. And it made me wonder if
- 23:37Speaker 3: Brandy will ever I wanted her. I wish I had
- 23:40Speaker 3: said that to her. You know, you've got to find
- 23:42Speaker 3: a way to learn to trust again, because there is
- 23:45Speaker 3: no good relationship, marriage or otherwise if you don't have trust.
- 23:50Speaker 1: This is true. This is true. And I dated, well
- 23:53Speaker 1: sort of. It never really happens a man that was widowed,
- 23:57Speaker 1: and unfortunately I reminded him of his wife Kathy. When
- 24:05Speaker 1: I saw the picture, it frightened me. Really, we were
- 24:08Speaker 1: like clone, same haircut. She was a hairdresser, and we
- 24:12Speaker 1: had such great chemistry. He came to when I lived
- 24:15Speaker 1: in the city, to the condo and we went to
- 24:17Speaker 1: a big holiday party together and he was like, we're
- 24:21Speaker 1: very attracted to each other. But he said, I can't
- 24:23Speaker 1: do it, Susan, I'll compare you constantly. So it's a
- 24:27Speaker 1: it's a thing.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:28Speaker 3: I mean, I haven't found that I haven't met men
- 24:32Speaker 3: in the in the dates I've had, and you know,
- 24:33Speaker 3: I'm starting to date a little bit more now.
- 24:36Speaker 4: I am not seen.
- 24:40Speaker 3: I actually try not to date men. I agree, that
- 24:42Speaker 3: remind me of my husband, but I haven't found that
- 24:44Speaker 3: to be an issue. But listening to Brandy, I mean, yes,
- 24:47Speaker 3: right now, she's healing. She's been through three years of horror.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Yes, three years, that's a long time.
- 24:54Speaker 2: In pajamas, I get it.
- 24:55Speaker 3: But you can since she was out on Valentine's Day,
- 24:59Speaker 3: she's getting you Drew back, and it's going to come
- 25:02Speaker 3: time for her to put on those sexy heels and
- 25:06Speaker 3: have a date.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Those clothes and have a date.
- 25:08Speaker 3: And I guess, Brandy, if you're listening, which I hope
- 25:10Speaker 3: you are, First of all, you are a delight.
- 25:12Speaker 2: I would love Susan. I would love to go out
- 25:14Speaker 2: with you in your life some time.
- 25:16Speaker 3: But secondly, do what you got to do to learn
- 25:19Speaker 3: how to trust again, because there is no good relationship.
- 25:22Speaker 2: I swear that's true. Do you agree with that?
- 25:24Speaker 1: Yes, I totally do. And it's hard. It's hard when
- 25:28Speaker 1: you were done wrong to trust.
- 25:30Speaker 3: Yeah, well, we'll see, Brandy. Keep us up today, let
