Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Thank you for listening.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Air with a Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Dream. Good morning, Sistany, good morning, Ryan, good morning, Tanya.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Good morning, good morning, good morning.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Hi everybody in the back room, good morning, good morning.
- 0:22Speaker 2: You may notice an energy this morning. Can I tell you? Why?
- 0:28Speaker 1: Tell me why I.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Slept in a bed of mac and cheese last night?
- 0:33Speaker 2: I don't understand. I just slept so well. If I
- 0:37Speaker 2: was in a bed of mac and cheese, I slept
- 0:40Speaker 2: so well. No, no, it does not Think about how would
- 0:43Speaker 2: you if you were to talk about imagery and describe
- 0:49Speaker 2: the bed in which you'd sleep amazingly? How would you
- 0:52Speaker 2: describe your sisty cloud silk, I don't know, cotton candy?
- 0:58Speaker 2: How would you describe your perfect jello?
- 1:03Speaker 3: Well, then the goodiness from the jello and the mac
- 1:06Speaker 3: and cheese has really thrown me off, you know how.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Suspend all that disbelief?
- 1:10Speaker 4: They make AI videos of this where people are like
- 1:12Speaker 4: getting in beds like made out of food. I think
- 1:16Speaker 4: I've seen a mac and cheese one gives you the
- 1:17Speaker 4: heavy gbis craft.
- 1:19Speaker 2: I won't be surprised if you want to make a
- 1:21Speaker 2: campaign out of this. It's such a great idea people
- 1:24Speaker 2: should sleep in a bed of mac and cheese.
- 1:26Speaker 1: That's a good one.
- 1:27Speaker 2: I just had a great sleep. I don't know, it
- 1:29Speaker 2: never happens, and I was so excited I had such
- 1:31Speaker 2: a great sleep. I stopped at early to start texting
- 1:34Speaker 2: Mark how good of a sleep I had and how
- 1:36Speaker 2: much I couldn't wait to come to the show. First
- 1:38Speaker 2: text came at three twenty four years. That's how good
- 1:41Speaker 2: of a sleep I had. So good I stopped at
- 1:44Speaker 2: three point thirty. Ooh, yeah, it's fun to live in
- 1:47Speaker 2: this head. Yeah, all right, scattered showers today, highs in
- 1:51Speaker 2: the low sixties. One of the things that we are
- 1:53Speaker 2: going to focus on this year, and we're already doing it,
- 1:56Speaker 2: is your access to sold out shows. We have got
- 2:00Speaker 2: sold out Arianegrande tickets and sold out Bruno Mars tickets. Again.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Every twenty minutes. I'm so into this. Every few minutes
- 2:10Speaker 2: you will get these sold out tickets. We're gonna start
- 2:12Speaker 2: with Ariana Grande tickets here in a second, then later
- 2:16Speaker 2: another chance for you to qualify to win a trip
- 2:18Speaker 2: to New York to go see Harry Styles live in concert.
- 2:24Speaker 2: The most access I think we've ever had to all
- 2:26Speaker 2: these sold out shows here in the morning on kiss
- 2:29Speaker 2: I was saying to Assistanty and Tanya earlier this morning
- 2:31Speaker 2: and Sophia that I slept in a bed of macaroni
- 2:32Speaker 2: and cheese last night. It was such a good sleep.
- 2:35Speaker 2: And you know, I also did you know that sald
- 2:38Speaker 2: machines can hurt your sleep? Haven't. We talked about how
- 2:40Speaker 2: sala machines are. The noise, the white noise a lot
- 2:43Speaker 2: of us think is so soothing and so good for you,
- 2:47Speaker 2: But now they're saying, if you sleep with the white noise,
- 2:50Speaker 2: it can really interrupt. Like this kind of a sound
- 2:53Speaker 2: right here is white noise. No, it's like static.
- 2:56Speaker 1: I love it.
- 2:57Speaker 2: No, not mean people sleeping with white noise led to
- 3:00Speaker 2: a nineteen minute decrease in rem sleep.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Thank you very much that I've been telling you guys
- 3:05Speaker 1: for years.
- 3:06Speaker 2: I shook me too. This struck me, as wait what
- 3:11Speaker 2: because I even put I put sound Bowl Bads on
- 3:14Speaker 2: sometimes Wow on YouTube. Yeah you got it's a guy
- 3:18Speaker 2: sitting there and he's got sticks.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I get bulls. Yeah yeah.
- 3:26Speaker 2: And I really got to know this guy. I mean,
- 3:28Speaker 2: I don't know him, but I've started to connect with him.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Every night when I go to sleep, he's there on
- 3:31Speaker 2: my bowls. But apparently that's bad. It was helping me.
- 3:35Speaker 2: But airplane noise too, you know when you go on
- 3:36Speaker 2: a plane, and that just that sounded. This sound here
- 3:39Speaker 2: of the airplane.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Oh so good.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Someone think that's soothing. White noise soothing.
- 3:46Speaker 5: I love it.
- 3:46Speaker 1: It's bearable. But it's not soothing.
- 3:48Speaker 6: No.
- 3:49Speaker 2: It interrupted big time caused it. Twenty three minute decrease
- 3:52Speaker 2: in r E m rem sleep. So I think the
- 3:57Speaker 2: way I'm gonna look at this is sound, bowls, chimes,
- 4:03Speaker 2: whatever it is that can calm me down to go
- 4:06Speaker 2: to sleep. But I'm gonna you gotta try and sleep
- 4:08Speaker 2: without all the noise or the sound.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Right, put a timer on it.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Yeah, there you go. This is my it's my pregame
- 4:15Speaker 2: bedtime sound right there.
- 4:18Speaker 1: This like stresses me more.
- 4:22Speaker 2: I've introduced this concept to dates before.
- 4:24Speaker 1: And how's that gone.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Oh we're not hanging out anymore, okay, But I don't
- 4:31Speaker 2: think it.
- 4:31Speaker 7: Was this.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Beyond Thomas Chris Brown seacrest with you on this Tuesday,
- 4:37Speaker 2: February seventeenth, today the lunar New Year Marty Grawl. And
- 4:40Speaker 2: also it is red Tuesday, the day you are most
- 4:43Speaker 2: likely to get dumped. So I know it's early. You
- 4:46Speaker 2: got a few hours to get through. If you make
- 4:48Speaker 2: it through today, you should be in good shape.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Now.
- 4:49Speaker 2: If you're thinking about doing the dumping, do it today,
- 4:52Speaker 2: because everybody's doing it. Here you go, eys, scattered showers,
- 4:56Speaker 2: highs in the low sixties. We all need to make
- 4:59Speaker 2: new goals for peace and harmony in our lives. Sisney,
- 5:02Speaker 2: I think this is a great new goal that you
- 5:05Speaker 2: want to cut down on the amount of apps that
- 5:06Speaker 2: you have on your phone.
- 5:07Speaker 3: The scrawling has just become an issue for me recently,
- 5:10Speaker 3: and so I thought of this, And I'm sure I'm
- 5:12Speaker 3: not the first person to think of this idea, but
- 5:14Speaker 3: I thought maybe having a separate iPad at home for
- 5:17Speaker 3: just that stuff is the way to go.
- 5:20Speaker 1: And then throughout the.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Day, I just use my phone for my phone, like,
- 5:23Speaker 3: and I don't have all the apps on it, and
- 5:25Speaker 3: so when I do want to go on Instagram, it's
- 5:27Speaker 3: in allotted time that I give myself at home with
- 5:30Speaker 3: my specific iPad for that and then that's it.
- 5:33Speaker 2: I don't know, I'm with you one hundred percent. I
- 5:36Speaker 2: just was having this conversation with my mom. Okay, I said,
- 5:38Speaker 2: you know, sometimes I just want to like open up
- 5:40Speaker 2: my phone and send you a note. But every time
- 5:41Speaker 2: I our text, every time I do, I end up
- 5:44Speaker 2: in a rabbit hole of work, texts or other things.
- 5:46Speaker 2: And then I've got friends. So I don't know if
- 5:48Speaker 2: you have this with apps and friends, I've got friends.
- 5:50Speaker 2: If you say, hey, the wind's blowing west, they've got
- 5:52Speaker 2: an app to go look it up immediately. Nope, it's not.
- 5:54Speaker 2: It's blowing east. Yeah, what are you doing? Like they
- 5:57Speaker 2: check every single thing in their life as an app.
- 6:01Speaker 2: They surf. They got sixteen apps to go surfing that day, right,
- 6:05Speaker 2: wins in the check surf. I'm like, you got there's
- 6:08Speaker 2: just way too much information, way too much data coming in. Yes,
- 6:12Speaker 2: it is causing a problem for me too, So just
- 6:15Speaker 2: give me the first two apps you would alleviate or
- 6:18Speaker 2: eliminate or decrease.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Usage of Instagram would have to come off my phone
- 6:22Speaker 1: for sure. What if you go to the doctor's office?
- 6:25Speaker 1: What about it after work?
- 6:27Speaker 2: Yeah, to post that or something.
- 6:28Speaker 1: No, but you just sit there in the waiting room
- 6:30Speaker 1: for well, that's the other thing.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Maybe it's maybe, yeah, you can get a magazine or yeah,
- 6:37Speaker 3: talk to somebody I don't know strake up a conversation.
- 6:39Speaker 2: The dentist that the dentist is difficult.
- 6:42Speaker 1: That's not on my phone.
- 6:42Speaker 3: During the dentist, I'm like just staring at the well
- 6:45Speaker 3: my dentists as a TV.
- 6:46Speaker 1: It's nice but okay, So Instagram for sure, and then yeah,
- 6:52Speaker 1: probably TikTok as well well. The two most scrollable apps.
- 6:57Speaker 2: TNY what would you get rid of immediately? The two
- 6:59Speaker 2: apps have to alleviate from your phone.
- 7:01Speaker 1: H I guess I would get rid of like my
- 7:04Speaker 1: bank app.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Is this a torturous assignment?
- 7:07Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 7:07Speaker 4: I would not want to leave any house off of
- 7:09Speaker 4: my phone, honestly.
- 7:10Speaker 1: The bank ap.
- 7:11Speaker 2: I don't know why the bank cap because I just
- 7:14Speaker 2: could do.
- 7:14Speaker 1: That at home. I don't need to be like checking
- 7:16Speaker 1: it on my phone.
- 7:17Speaker 7: You know.
- 7:20Speaker 1: What would you delete?
- 7:20Speaker 2: Sorry? I was just on my apps?
- 7:23Speaker 1: What would you delete?
- 7:25Speaker 2: I don't care. You could pick any ten off my
- 7:27Speaker 2: phone take them away. I really don't care. And I
- 7:30Speaker 2: hope I give you my password later so you can
- 7:32Speaker 2: just do it for me.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I just need your face.
- 7:35Speaker 2: It's right here every day, right on the screen. Perfect,
- 7:38Speaker 2: all right, listen the astrological sign that is the worst driver.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Have you seen this coming up on a two point
- 7:44Speaker 2: seven Kiss FM, Ryan Seacrest with a quote of the day.
- 7:48Speaker 2: And if you pay attention to people's star signs, there
- 7:51Speaker 2: is a worst driver sign apparently least that's say that
- 7:55Speaker 2: the worst drivers are areses come. I'm just telling you
- 8:01Speaker 2: what the science has indicated through the sample group research. Ariuses,
- 8:05Speaker 2: aquariuses and libras. Weird as, Aquariuses and libras, those are
- 8:11Speaker 2: the worst drivers based on the study that scientists have done.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Makes no sense.
- 8:20Speaker 2: It makes all the sense in the world. Today's quote
- 8:23Speaker 2: scattered showers. So a day of rain always comes with
- 8:26Speaker 2: the promise of sun in weather and.
- 8:29Speaker 1: In lifeutiful loved it me too.
- 8:33Speaker 2: That's it's one of two point seven Kiss FM. Let's
- 8:36Speaker 2: get to the headlines. Just what you have this FM headlines, Well, one.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Storm down, two more to go.
- 8:41Speaker 5: Another round of storms moves in tonight into tomorrow morning,
- 8:44Speaker 5: and then a third arrives Thursday morning. The LASD Board
- 8:47Speaker 5: of Education will vote today on a proposed reduction in
- 8:51Speaker 5: force that could lead to thousands of district employees losing
- 8:55Speaker 5: their jobs. All family members of Nancy Guthrie have been
- 8:58Speaker 5: cleared as suspects in her discipline, including their spouses, and
- 9:02Speaker 5: King Taco's original location in LA could soon be labeled
- 9:06Speaker 5: a historic Cultural monument after receiving unanimous support from the
- 9:11Speaker 5: Cultural Heritage Commission.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Has that been so? We have ultimate access to sold
- 9:17Speaker 2: out shows for you all year? The next shot to
- 9:20Speaker 2: get sold out tickets will be Ria Grande. That's like
- 9:22Speaker 2: in a minute here, and then Bruno Mars sold out
- 9:25Speaker 2: tickets in a few minutes. That's both coming up this hour.
- 9:27Speaker 6: Now.
- 9:28Speaker 2: We also getting in to see Harry Styles. This guy
- 9:31Speaker 2: Harry is coming to MSG and he's doing a bunch
- 9:34Speaker 2: of shows in New York. So what are we going
- 9:35Speaker 2: to do. We are going to get you the tickets,
- 9:37Speaker 2: We're going to fly you there, We're going to take
- 9:40Speaker 2: care of the hotel, and I'm gonna throw in some
- 9:41Speaker 2: cash for you to spend as well. So we qualified
- 9:44Speaker 2: people all last week and now we're calling a winner. Fy,
- 9:49Speaker 2: I'm going to do this again for another week and
- 9:52Speaker 2: then get another winner. Yeah, but I haven't said that
- 9:54Speaker 2: officially yet. I'm just telling you now. Hello, Hi is
- 10:01Speaker 2: Kimberly there? Yes, it is her Kimberly. It's Ryan Seacrests
- 10:05Speaker 2: calling with Sistney Tanya Sophia the back room on Kiss FM.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Everybody's here.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Oh my god, good morning.
- 10:11Speaker 8: How are you guys?
- 10:13Speaker 2: Uh? Forget about us, let's talk about you. Congratulations, you
- 10:18Speaker 2: got it. You qualified to go see Harry Styles in
- 10:20Speaker 2: New York and you are the grand prize winner. You
- 10:24Speaker 2: are going Kimberly today.
- 10:28Speaker 8: So much.
- 10:29Speaker 6: Oh my god, I can't believe that.
- 10:31Speaker 8: I'm like shaking, my heart is pounding out of my chest.
- 10:36Speaker 2: I love it. So we're gonna set you up. Now.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Harry's doing all those shows, thirty plus shows or something

- 10:49Speaker 8: All right, well, oh my god, thank you so much.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Ryan.
- 10:53Speaker 8: Oh my god, I didn't think I was gonna be
- 10:55Speaker 8: able to see him since he didn't have any LA shows.
- 10:58Speaker 8: But oh my god, I'm going.
- 10:59Speaker 6: I've never been to New York.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Who are you gonna tell first that you've won this trip?
- 11:05Speaker 2: And who are you gonna take?
- 11:07Speaker 8: Oh my god, I'm telling my sister. We're both love
- 11:09Speaker 8: to listen to Harry Style. Oh my god, I'm gonna
- 11:12Speaker 8: call it right now. I can't believe it.
- 11:14Speaker 6: She's gonna clip out at work.
- 11:16Speaker 2: I'll put you on hold. You call your sister. Congratulations,
- 11:19Speaker 2: Kimberly there moreno Valley and if you didn't win, you're
- 11:22Speaker 2: not Kimberly there. That's everybody else. We got another trip
- 11:25Speaker 2: to give away, and once again we will qualify people
- 11:28Speaker 2: every morning this week. Be listening after eight and then
- 11:31Speaker 2: I'll call you and you may sound like that and
- 11:33Speaker 2: be off to New York City from Kiss FM, one
- 11:35Speaker 2: of two point seven Kiss FM. You go out on
- 11:38Speaker 2: a date, they leave you hanging. You come to us
- 11:40Speaker 2: to find out w WT. So let me get Joey
- 11:48Speaker 2: on the line. Joey is going through it and he
- 11:50Speaker 2: wants to know what the so, Joey, you work in
- 11:54Speaker 2: the same building as she does, you work for different companies.
- 11:57Speaker 2: She asked you to hang out, Is that right?
- 12:01Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 12:02Speaker 2: Okay. About twenty minutes into the date, she said, sorry,
- 12:05Speaker 2: I have to go. What else did she say?
- 12:08Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm nothing, bro like nothing. We ordered drinks, we
- 12:16Speaker 6: ordered food, and before the food comes out, she failed.
- 12:21Speaker 6: I saw. We didn't talk about anything controversial. It was
- 12:25Speaker 6: just where are you from? How long you've been working there?
- 12:27Speaker 6: Do you like it that kind of stuff?
- 12:29Speaker 2: Does she work a job that would need her immediately?
- 12:36Speaker 6: I mean I don't think so. No, it's possible. I
- 12:41Speaker 6: don't assume anything.
- 12:43Speaker 2: So give me some body language here. I'm trying to
- 12:45Speaker 2: piece this together. Bro, Joey's in Glendale. She's there. She
- 12:49Speaker 2: asked you out. Then twenty minutes in, she says, I've
- 12:52Speaker 2: got to go. Anything else? Like any body language? Was
- 12:56Speaker 2: it rushed?
- 12:57Speaker 7: Was it?
- 12:57Speaker 2: I'll call you, I'll talk to you, I'll see you.
- 12:59Speaker 2: What anything else?
- 13:02Speaker 8: I look?
- 13:03Speaker 6: She looked around, she got this look in her face.
- 13:06Speaker 6: I looked around like if she saw anyone she knew.
- 13:08Speaker 6: But that didn't seem to be the case, and I yeah,
- 13:15Speaker 6: she just bolted, Man, it was had.
- 13:17Speaker 2: You ordered any food or drink yet?
- 13:20Speaker 6: Yeah? We ordered food and drink? And did you tell
- 13:23Speaker 6: yet before the food came out?
- 13:25Speaker 2: Okay? And then what did you do? So she leaves?
- 13:27Speaker 2: What do you do? Sit there? Or did you go?
- 13:30Speaker 6: I waited just to see if maybe she would come
- 13:34Speaker 6: back for any reason, but I no dice there. I
- 13:38Speaker 6: got on my phone just to make sure. You know,
- 13:41Speaker 6: the worst case scenario at the moment, I thought maybe
- 13:44Speaker 6: I had something like really ugly happening on my face
- 13:48Speaker 6: or in my teeth. That wasn't happening either, So it
- 13:54Speaker 6: was just really weird. And that's why I reached out
- 13:56Speaker 6: to you guys.
- 13:56Speaker 2: All right, hold on one second, we're gonna call her.
- 13:58Speaker 2: We're gonna get her on the line. We're gonna ask
- 14:00Speaker 2: her think about this when we take a break. What
- 14:02Speaker 2: could justify getting up and leaving in twenty minutes? Physical
- 14:07Speaker 2: bowel issue could be, could also be family emergency could
- 14:12Speaker 2: be that would require no explanation those two things for.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Me, maybe, but you can at least say that, yeah.
- 14:16Speaker 2: No, I wouldn't say that on a date. If my
- 14:18Speaker 2: bows were roaring, I would not say anything about it.
- 14:20Speaker 1: You would say you were not feeling well, yeah, Or
- 14:22Speaker 1: you could say I have a family emergency, even if
- 14:24Speaker 1: it was your bowels.
- 14:25Speaker 2: No. I would not cross pollinate those two. I would.
- 14:27Speaker 2: I would, I would. I would say something, but I
- 14:30Speaker 2: wouldn't say specifically what. But those two are justifiable. I
- 14:34Speaker 2: think unless you think of anything else, we'll come back
- 14:36Speaker 2: and we're gonna talk to Kim. Next to kiss Freya
- 14:39Speaker 2: Sky Silent treatment met Frea a jingle ball. She was
- 14:43Speaker 2: backstage with us there, just did the Wiltern too.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Yes, this is gonna be a huge year for her.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Yeah. Maybe people are buzzing about frey a Sky that
- 14:51Speaker 2: is spelled f r e y a frey a Sky
- 14:56Speaker 2: with any on the end of that. We're in the
- 14:57Speaker 2: middle of a second date update. So we got Kim.
- 15:00Speaker 2: She's agreed to come on. Here's the thing, this is
- 15:03Speaker 2: very interesting if you date listen to this. Has this
- 15:05Speaker 2: ever happened to you? She actually asked him out. She goes,
- 15:09Speaker 2: you want to hang He says yeah. They go out
- 15:11Speaker 2: within the first twenty minutes. She says, I gotta go,
- 15:14Speaker 2: and no explanation and hasn't heard since. So either it's
- 15:19Speaker 2: a medical issue or a body issue physically like a feeling,
- 15:23Speaker 2: or a thing that happens with you and your your body,
- 15:26Speaker 2: like an emergency, or it could be a family or
- 15:30Speaker 2: friend emergency, both of which would be acceptable. He just
- 15:33Speaker 2: doesn't know. I can't think of anything else, Joey. I
- 15:38Speaker 2: need you to just be very quiet, Sorr. I know
- 15:40Speaker 2: you want to get the answers. So we got her.
- 15:42Speaker 2: We're going to get her on fast, all right, all right, Okay,
- 15:46Speaker 2: Kim Hyatt's Ryan Seacrest and it's just the Itinian, Sophia
- 15:50Speaker 2: and everybody here at kiss by Kim. Hi, So Kim,
- 15:55Speaker 2: we're calling about a guy named Joey. What do you
- 15:57Speaker 2: think of this guy? You kind of work in the
- 15:59Speaker 2: same building. What do you think of Joey? Oh?
- 16:05Speaker 8: My goodness, why are you saying that?
- 16:08Speaker 2: Did you go out with Joey? Yeah? Okay, I liked
- 16:13Speaker 2: him enough to say to him, let's hang out and
- 16:15Speaker 2: then went out, so all good? Right?
- 16:19Speaker 5: Uh?
- 16:20Speaker 8: Kind of what.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Happened on the date?
- 16:24Speaker 8: I got a lost Lotte that afternoon, I and I
- 16:27Speaker 8: ordered oat milk. It tasted like a little too good,
- 16:31Speaker 8: right Like I I just realized right away that it
- 16:34Speaker 8: was not oat milk. And I don't know what you
- 16:37Speaker 8: know about lactose, but the internal stocks started and I
- 16:41Speaker 8: knew that I had maybe ten minutes to get home,
- 16:44Speaker 8: so I just got the hell out of there.
- 16:46Speaker 2: This was exactly how I produced. This is what I forecasted.
- 16:50Speaker 2: I knew it. This, this has happened to me before
- 16:52Speaker 2: I understand completely. You were embarrassed. Your bowels had to
- 16:56Speaker 2: make a move, and you had to make the move,
- 16:58Speaker 2: and you got out of there and do you want to,
- 17:00Speaker 2: and I think we should tell Joey this. Joey, it
- 17:04Speaker 2: is exactly. This is great news. Sorry, I mean not
- 17:07Speaker 2: for your intestine, Kim, but it's great news for Joey
- 17:10Speaker 2: because it's not you, Joey. Joey's on the line, Kim.
- 17:13Speaker 8: This is awkward.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Are you relieved?
- 17:18Speaker 6: It's all right? It's it's it's cool. It wasn't something
- 17:22Speaker 6: I did. You had me worried.
- 17:26Speaker 8: Okay, so I guess Hi, Hi, very kind of you
- 17:33Speaker 8: to track me down like this, But I I think
- 17:37Speaker 8: I'm just gonna hang up now.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Joey. That's not gonna work out. That's not meant to be.
- 17:45Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I feel like she kind of reacted good news.
- 17:48Speaker 2: It wasn't you. I mean, you can use that to
- 17:50Speaker 2: fuel your ego a little bit. Bro.
- 17:53Speaker 6: I don't think there's anything in this that's going to
- 17:56Speaker 6: give me any amount of ego. If I see around
- 18:01Speaker 6: the building, I'll just smile and pretend this never happened.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Probably best procedure. It's kiss FM on air with Ryan Seacrest,
- 18:14Speaker 2: bred A Carpenter. When did you get hot? Now? I
- 18:17Speaker 2: just want to give you some information here, Sisney Tanya everybody.
- 18:20Speaker 2: We are giving away a trip to New York City
- 18:22Speaker 2: to go see Harry Styles. We just did what we're
- 18:24Speaker 2: doing it again. You'll qualify all week, then come next
- 18:29Speaker 2: week I'll call you and send you on that trip.
- 18:32Speaker 2: You're listening for this. That is Harry Styles greeting a
- 18:40Speaker 2: crowd at MSG Madison Square Garden. Okay, now, I'm gonna
- 18:45Speaker 2: play it a couple of times. I don't know what
- 18:50Speaker 2: he's saying, but I think I do. Anyway, when you
- 18:51Speaker 2: hear it, that's when you call again.
- 18:54Speaker 1: One time, good evening.
- 19:02Speaker 2: And you hear that before nine you called, I want
- 19:04Speaker 2: to tell your qualify to go see him.
- 19:06Speaker 6: Do that.
- 19:07Speaker 2: So everything went well for Sysney's Valentine's Day, I found
- 19:10Speaker 2: out everything went well for mine with Connie and I,
- 19:13Speaker 2: my mom and I. But Sophia, we forgot to ask you,
- 19:16Speaker 2: our intern. You've been in this gray area with this
- 19:18Speaker 2: guy you met. We call him Skeletor because you met
- 19:21Speaker 2: on Halloween night. He seemed to want to have his
- 19:24Speaker 2: cake and eat it too. Then he asked you out
- 19:27Speaker 2: to San Diego on Valentine's Day, and Sisney and Tony
- 19:30Speaker 2: and night we got together a couple of times and
- 19:33Speaker 2: had meetings about how we could convey good vibes that
- 19:36Speaker 2: he would ask you the question. Right, we did this
- 19:39Speaker 2: outside of work? Did he ask you the question?
- 19:44Speaker 9: No?
- 19:46Speaker 2: He didn't ask No, I'm Valentine's Day? No did you?
- 19:52Speaker 2: Are you sure you didn't miss it?
- 19:54Speaker 9: I swear?
- 19:54Speaker 10: And I kept asking him like, oh, is there anything
- 19:56Speaker 10: you want to ask? I basically forced him to ask
- 20:03Speaker 10: me and still nothing, not even the day after either
- 20:07Speaker 10: the day.
- 20:08Speaker 2: How was the Valentine's Day?
- 20:09Speaker 7: Date?
- 20:10Speaker 2: Was it good?
- 20:11Speaker 9: It was really good? It was so romantic.
- 20:13Speaker 10: We went to Costa in San Diego and had a
- 20:15Speaker 10: really nice, like ocean front dinner, and then we went
- 20:18Speaker 10: to the Hotel Lafayette and went to like a Latin
- 20:22Speaker 10: music show in the bar LULUs right next door.
- 20:25Speaker 9: We got drinks going and nothing.
- 20:27Speaker 2: I can tell you that is so cute, But I
- 20:31Speaker 2: can't tell you what to do. I should tell many
- 20:34Speaker 2: days mark since Halloween? Has it been one hundred something
- 20:36Speaker 2: eight days since? I can't tolerate this anymore. Here's what
- 20:40Speaker 2: you're gonna do. You're gonna blow him off. You are
- 20:43Speaker 2: not going to respond to his next text about going out.
- 20:46Speaker 2: You watch how fast he comes back and ask you
- 20:49Speaker 2: the question. I guarantee you this is what is going
- 20:53Speaker 2: to happen. You are now unavailable. No, you are unavailable?
- 20:58Speaker 2: Yeah you stand or at that point Sisney and I
- 21:01Speaker 2: are on board.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Are aggressive boundaries.
- 21:07Speaker 2: You are unavailable, and watch how he withers.
- 21:11Speaker 9: I hope I can't do this anymore.
- 21:13Speaker 10: I gave him, We gave him till Valentine's Day and
- 21:17Speaker 10: still nothing. And I even asked him. I was like, oh, like,
- 21:19Speaker 10: why haven't you asked me? He says, I still need
- 21:22Speaker 10: to get to know you more.
- 21:26Speaker 2: He's just doing this because you're not unavailable. I promise
- 21:30Speaker 2: you this. You just mark the show, mark whatever date.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Today is the seventeenth. You watch you all of a sudden,
- 21:37Speaker 2: you got plans, You got plans, you got plans. You watch.
- 21:41Speaker 9: That's what I'm gonna have to do.
- 21:42Speaker 2: You better do. Don't just say that to step in
- 21:48Speaker 2: on this now.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Does she like the guy?
- 21:52Speaker 9: Not really?
- 21:53Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 21:53Speaker 2: Well, oh gosh, you are unavailable. Does your mom like
- 21:59Speaker 2: the blue hair?
- 22:00Speaker 9: Nope?
- 22:03Speaker 2: I don't think I noticed that. How long a blue hair?
- 22:05Speaker 9: I've had her for about a week and a half,
- 22:07Speaker 9: two weeks?
- 22:08Speaker 2: Yeah, teks so unavailable. We're gonna check in next time.
- 22:13Speaker 2: He asked, you out, you come to us, and we're
- 22:15Speaker 2: gonna it's Tany will write the text reply, okay, good.
- 22:18Speaker 1: I need that I take it a step further and
- 22:21Speaker 1: go on another date.
- 22:22Speaker 4: No aggressive, No I love this.
- 22:27Speaker 1: No, she's just going to move on with her life.
- 22:29Speaker 2: We're playing games. You actually don't want.
- 22:32Speaker 1: To play games.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Games, guys order in the court. We're playing it. I
- 22:40Speaker 2: don't know what it is because I'm not really into
- 22:45Speaker 2: dating shows now. I've hosted dating shows, I've been on
- 22:49Speaker 2: dating shows, I produced dating shows, but I'm not into
- 22:52Speaker 2: dating shows right now. However, this one I might be.
- 22:55Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know technically really what it's about.
- 22:58Speaker 2: But I read the little blurb in the show notes
- 23:00Speaker 2: here this morning he said to me about what we're
- 23:02Speaker 2: going to talk about, and I thought, oh, huh, maybe
- 23:06Speaker 2: this is interesting. It's not so what's the right word.
- 23:08Speaker 3: It's not saving and like and like love is blind.
- 23:11Speaker 3: It's like they're you can't see them and they're behind the.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Wall the whole time, where they're always basically not working.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I know the picture.
- 23:22Speaker 2: You sent me. The host had full clothes on exactly,
- 23:25Speaker 2: So I was like, oh, this might be more at
- 23:27Speaker 2: my Aali. Now this is kiss FM. Sisty. What is
- 23:29Speaker 2: the new dating show coming to Netflix.
- 23:31Speaker 1: It's called Age of Attraction.
- 23:33Speaker 3: And the twist is that all these singles are dating
- 23:36Speaker 3: and forming these connections without knowing their age. So even
- 23:40Speaker 3: like I'm the Bachelor, you know right away how old
- 23:43Speaker 3: they are, you kind of already kind of just have
- 23:45Speaker 3: a range of age, whether it be twenty one to
- 23:48Speaker 3: thirty somethings or whatever it is. Or the Golden Bachelor,
- 23:51Speaker 3: we all know everyone's over their sixties. But in this show,
- 23:54Speaker 3: you're not going to know.
- 23:55Speaker 1: And I feel like it's very.
- 23:58Speaker 3: I mean honest and pure in a way where it's
- 24:01Speaker 3: kind of like real world, Like you don't need to
- 24:03Speaker 3: ask age right out the gate.
- 24:05Speaker 1: It's more about the connection. And so somebody could be
- 24:08Speaker 1: in their forties and somebody can be in their twenties
- 24:10Speaker 1: but not necessarily look like they're in their forties or twenties,
- 24:13Speaker 1: and it just works. The host actually, it's really interesting.
- 24:16Speaker 3: It's Nick Viyel and Natalie Joy and they have an
- 24:19Speaker 3: eighteen year gap.
- 24:20Speaker 1: He was from the Bachelorette first right, was the bachelor himself, but.
- 24:25Speaker 3: He wasn't a bachelorette first, and then yeah, it became
- 24:27Speaker 3: Bachelor and they have a huge podcast together, right, and
- 24:31Speaker 3: then this is are they married none? They're married yes,
- 24:33Speaker 3: Natalie Joy And then's eighteen years difference for them.
- 24:35Speaker 1: So they're really leaning into this theme.
- 24:38Speaker 2: So here's the thing. You know, obviously they're of adult
- 24:41Speaker 2: age going into this, so there's no question about that.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Yeah right, Okay, So that being said, because you don't
- 24:48Speaker 2: know their gap really is the thing in this, right,
- 24:50Speaker 2: you don't know the difference. And you've got some people
- 24:52Speaker 2: that may play older, play younger whatever. I don't hate it.
- 24:57Speaker 2: I don't know why, but I don't hate it. I
- 25:00Speaker 2: don't owe their dating shows. This might be the most
- 25:02Speaker 2: interesting for me. I don't know.
- 25:05Speaker 1: I don't know why I think that you would be
- 25:08Speaker 1: great for a show like this.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Why do you think that?
- 25:11Speaker 4: Because I think you don't see age as a lot
- 25:15Speaker 4: of people put value on age, and I feel like
- 25:18Speaker 4: you don't.
- 25:20Speaker 2: No, I don't, right, Yeah, okay, then we agree. We
- 25:24Speaker 2: agree on this one, Sisney.
- 25:25Speaker 3: It's going to be an eight episode social experiment and
- 25:28Speaker 3: it premieres on March eleventh on Netflix.
- 25:31Speaker 2: So this couple, I'm looking at you, show me a picture,
- 25:33Speaker 2: Nick Vail and Natalie Joy. They're a couple.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Yes, they're married.
- 25:35Speaker 2: They look great. And there's an eighteen who's eighteen, different,
- 25:38Speaker 2: who's older, who's younger?
- 25:39Speaker 1: Nick is older.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Yeah, he looks like a boy band guy.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Yes, is a thing.
- 25:43Speaker 3: I'm just like, I look so young in the same age,
- 25:46Speaker 3: Like people don't look their age anymore.
- 25:48Speaker 1: That's in my opinion.
- 25:50Speaker 3: Some of the other contestants, they look like, you know,
- 25:53Speaker 3: one of the the girl actually does look a little
- 25:55Speaker 3: bit older, but I think that like the guy's probably
- 25:57Speaker 3: in his thirties and she has like a twenty nine
- 25:59Speaker 3: year old son. Where it's gonna get a little like dicey, I'm.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Gonna tune in, me too, me three, I'm gonna have
- 26:06Speaker 2: to tune in. I'm gonna stream down. It's the weekend.
- 26:10Speaker 2: We've got sold out tickets to Ariana Grande and Bruno
- 26:12Speaker 2: Mars every half hour every hour in the morning on
- 26:16Speaker 2: Kiss FM. Let's do the Bruno Mars tickets right now,
- 26:20Speaker 2: so we're gonna play. It's all there with the population
- 26:32Speaker 2: game in Corona. Interesting you call from Corona's Yeah, very interesting,
- 26:39Speaker 2: because we're gonna play this game here for sold out

- 26:51Speaker 2: in Corona. Just think of all the cities around you,
- 26:54Speaker 2: all right?
- 26:56Speaker 7: Right?
- 26:58Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, okay, right, you gotta get three right before
- 27:02Speaker 2: you get three wrong in here's the first one. No, no, no, stop.
- 27:06Speaker 1: No, you got this girl.
- 27:08Speaker 2: First one is Pomona or Santa Monica. Who has more people?
- 27:14Speaker 8: I believe Santa Monica.
- 27:16Speaker 2: No, Pomona one hundred and forty six.
- 27:20Speaker 6: Give me, I think Santa Monica.
- 27:21Speaker 3: The beach.
- 27:22Speaker 8: A lot of people want to be there.
- 27:24Speaker 2: They drive out there and then drive back to Pomona. Yeah,
- 27:27Speaker 2: that's all true. So no incorrect on that one.
- 27:30Speaker 6: No.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Next one Burbank or Lancaster. Who has more people? Burbank, Burbank,
- 27:38Speaker 2: do just not Lancaster.
- 27:41Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 27:41Speaker 2: One sixty four thousand in Lancaster compared to one hundred
- 27:45Speaker 2: and one thousand in Burbank is huge. Gotta get This
- 27:49Speaker 2: one is Stay Alive.
- 27:50Speaker 8: Oh Lord, have mercy.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Here we go. This one is Stay Alive Wittier or
- 27:55Speaker 2: Redondo Beach. Who has more people?
- 27:59Speaker 3: Okay, let's go this side.
- 28:00Speaker 8: Let's say what here.
- 28:03Speaker 2: It is Wittier, Yes, one thousand, DNDO beat sixty six thousand.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Here we go, next one. Who has more people? Erviner
- 28:11Speaker 2: Glendale or Viner Glendale, Irvine, Irvine. You're right, twenty four
- 28:18Speaker 2: thousand compared to Glendale's one hundred and eighty three thousand.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Now for the win, it all comes down to this,
- 28:23Speaker 2: Oh my god, the population game. Who is more people?
- 28:28Speaker 2: Robert in Corona? Who is more people? Pasadena or Anaheim?
- 28:33Speaker 8: Ooh, how about Anaheim?
- 28:38Speaker 2: That's correct, buddy, three hundred and forty three thousand compared
- 28:45Speaker 2: to Pasadena's one hundred thirty six thousand, and Corona is
- 28:48Speaker 2: one hundred and sixty three thousand. Roberts us, So, congratulations,
- 28:52Speaker 2: you're going to see Bruno Mars.
- 28:54Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, thank you so much.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Oh I'm so excited.
- 28:56Speaker 5: I love the big band.
- 28:57Speaker 2: I love it. Thank you for listening us and Corona's
- 29:00Speaker 2: because that's not the easiest of games, but I like it.
- 29:04Speaker 2: On air with Ryan Seacrest, Seacrest here, you know, in
- 29:10Speaker 2: the back room, we have the front room in the
- 29:11Speaker 2: back room. In the back room, Mikayla on the phones,
- 29:14Speaker 2: and Mikayla you went to we suggested this. I actually
- 29:17Speaker 2: thought it's not a kind of fun. The tarot card reading,
- 29:20Speaker 2: pie eating, speed dating, la matchmaking festival over Valentine's Day
- 29:25Speaker 2: weekend and you went. How many singles were there?
- 29:28Speaker 7: I mean everyone there was single, and so they were
- 29:31Speaker 7: only looking for one thing. They were looking to meet somebody.
- 29:34Speaker 7: And I had the best time, but there were a
- 29:38Speaker 7: lot more women there than men. Someone did give me
- 29:42Speaker 7: their number though.
- 29:44Speaker 1: That good for the guys.
- 29:49Speaker 2: He gave you their number? And how did it happened?
- 29:51Speaker 7: Okay, so this girl tapped me on the shoulder and
- 29:54Speaker 7: she was like, hey, like, my friend thinks you're really
- 29:57Speaker 7: cute and he wanted to give you his number, and
- 30:01Speaker 7: so he didn't come up to me.
- 30:02Speaker 2: She did weird, It's okay, great safer with this. Yeah,
- 30:07Speaker 2: that is true.
- 30:08Speaker 7: So I was like, you know what, sure, Like he
- 30:10Speaker 7: wasn't really my type, but sure he actually had an
- 30:12Speaker 7: uber ready to leave. So I gave him my number
- 30:16Speaker 7: and he texted me and he said, I'm still thinking
- 30:19Speaker 7: about your dangerous eyes.
- 30:22Speaker 2: Okay, your eyes a little bold.
- 30:29Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 30:30Speaker 1: I was like, out of everything you could have said,
- 30:31Speaker 1: that's what you are.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Dangerous, So let's talk. Did you respond.
- 30:37Speaker 1: No, I was like, I'm not into it.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Where was this matchmaking festival?
- 30:43Speaker 7: It was in Lincoln Heights at Benny Boy Brewing.
- 30:46Speaker 2: So, uh, here's what I really like. Let's break this down.
- 30:49Speaker 2: I really like Cistinitani and Sophy. I like the fact
- 30:51Speaker 2: that he sent his friend that's a woman over because
- 30:54Speaker 2: that's sort of like nice, right, non threatening. Sure, And
- 30:59Speaker 2: I like the fact that he texted you, but I
- 31:04Speaker 2: don't know that dangerous. I mean, I get where he's going,
- 31:08Speaker 2: but it's too fast to be purple emoji, you know
- 31:11Speaker 2: what I mean.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what he's getting at.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Yeah, but he's too fast on that.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:19Speaker 2: M hmm, so he's not gonna get rid.
- 31:21Speaker 9: Of So was he cue?
- 31:21Speaker 1: Did you like him?
- 31:24Speaker 7: No? I wasn't really into it, but I was like,
- 31:25Speaker 7: you know, let's let me give him a chance. And
- 31:27Speaker 7: that was his chance and it no.
- 31:29Speaker 1: And there was no one else.
- 31:31Speaker 7: Okay, So you actually filled out this question here before,
- 31:33Speaker 7: and they matched you with people who you were compatible with,
- 31:36Speaker 7: and I did like a few guys in the app.
- 31:38Speaker 7: I didn't see them in person. And the next day
- 31:41Speaker 7: they were supposed to send you who you match with,
- 31:42Speaker 7: and I got zero matches.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Okay, you know, so you had to eat pie like
- 31:48Speaker 2: who wants to nice?
- 31:51Speaker 9: You know was fun though, it was really fun.
- 31:54Speaker 2: Well, thank you for going down and checking it out. Yeah,
- 31:56Speaker 2: good choice, And I mean the texting the first we
- 31:59Speaker 2: need read? Can we this week to read some of
- 32:01Speaker 2: your pickup lines? The most recent on I have? Because
- 32:04Speaker 2: these are a few. Okay, I can't wait one or
- 32:07Speaker 2: two point seven? Kiss I am secrest here. Thanks for
- 32:09Speaker 2: joining us. All right. We have been talking over the
- 32:13Speaker 2: years about trying to be you know, it was actually
- 32:16Speaker 2: we Tanya really tries to push this on us, and
- 32:18Speaker 2: I mean it in a good way. Hey, guys, don't
- 32:20Speaker 2: don't think about the past, don't think about the future.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Just think about the moment, like be present in the moment.
- 32:24Speaker 2: I find it very difficult. I can do it when forced,
- 32:28Speaker 2: but I find it very difficult. I don't know, it's
- 32:30Speaker 2: just in my DNA to plan the next thing?
- 32:32Speaker 4: Right, And if you don't want to listen to the
- 32:35Speaker 4: gurus of the world, I feel like we can all
- 32:37Speaker 4: collectively agree we listen to Harry Styles.
- 32:39Speaker 2: What did Harry say about this? Exactly?
- 32:41Speaker 6: So?
- 32:41Speaker 4: He did an interview with The Sunday Times magazine and
- 32:44Speaker 4: in it. He was reflecting on the lifestyle changes that
- 32:46Speaker 4: he made recently, and if I could summarize it in
- 32:50Speaker 4: one word, it would be present. So he finished his
- 32:54Speaker 4: two year tour in support of Harry's House, and then
- 32:56Speaker 4: he spent the summer of twenty twenty four in Italy,
- 32:58Speaker 4: and he said living life in a way he never
- 33:00Speaker 4: had before, enjoying the moment. He said, I remember going
- 33:04Speaker 4: to a cafe and sitting and having coffee and thinking,
- 33:06Speaker 4: I don't remember the last time I sat down and
- 33:09Speaker 4: had a coffee, if I've ever sat down and just
- 33:12Speaker 4: had a coffee.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Like he's doing the thing that we all do.
- 33:15Speaker 4: We go into the coffee store, we grab our coffee,
- 33:18Speaker 4: go into work, like onto the next thing, into the
- 33:20Speaker 4: meeting and going home, making dinner, going you know, in
- 33:22Speaker 4: that whole thing. And he's like, this is the first
- 33:24Speaker 4: time in my life that actually sat at a coffee
- 33:26Speaker 4: shop and drank my coffee. And he's so much happier
- 33:30Speaker 4: about his life now and these changes that he made.
- 33:33Speaker 2: I think it's great for Harry Stocks. Although I do think,
- 33:36Speaker 2: you know, he he has the capacity to do that.
- 33:39Speaker 2: I don't. I am convinced I do not have the
- 33:41Speaker 2: capacity to stop thinking about forward momentum.
- 33:46Speaker 1: I think it's because you've conditioned yourself to be that way.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Then here you are.
- 33:50Speaker 1: It's like you have to rewire your brain somehow.
- 33:52Speaker 3: Yeah, why don't you treat it like an appointment or
- 33:54Speaker 3: a meeting, just like you say you treat your workouts
- 33:56Speaker 3: like a meeting.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Treat going to having a coffee like this is my moment. Yes, yes,
- 34:01Speaker 1: put in your calendar kind of defeats a purpose.
- 34:04Speaker 2: But yeahs I will do better. I will do better.

- 34:14Speaker 2: qualify to go see Harry in New York tomorrow after
