- 0:21Speaker 2: It is time leave your worries outside and laugh with
- 0:25Speaker 2: us inside the Treehouse. I'm Daniel Melley along with Trey
- 0:28Speaker 2: Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Coming off of a long Thanksgiving holiday.
- 0:35Speaker 2: For those of you that celebrated Thanksgiving, I hope you
- 0:38Speaker 2: enjoyed it. This tray is looking around thinking, wasn't it
- 0:42Speaker 2: over like a bunch of days ago. Yes, but there
- 0:46Speaker 2: is one more piece of very important Thanksgiving news we
- 0:49Speaker 2: have to share because on occasion we do some public
- 0:54Speaker 2: service good. Yesterday was the last day to eat your
- 1:00Speaker 2: Thanksgiving leftovers if you want to be safe. So while
- 1:07Speaker 2: we're a little late, still just wanted to give you
- 1:13Speaker 2: the heads up.
- 1:15Speaker 3: I think that is a conspiracy, like on the part
- 1:23Speaker 3: of Big Turkey or who's who's conspiring on when it's
- 1:28Speaker 3: not safe to eat your Thanksgiving leftovers.
- 1:31Speaker 4: So there.
- 1:33Speaker 1: I think food companies push a narrative that your food
- 1:37Speaker 1: goes bad and within a couple of days, and it doesn't.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Especially in this day and age, so many of the
- 1:44Speaker 1: things we use are so chuck full of preservatives they'll
- 1:48Speaker 1: last a lot longer.
- 1:51Speaker 2: I hate to be a bandwagoner, but in this case
- 1:55Speaker 2: I am. I don't know if it's a grand conspiracy,
- 1:59Speaker 2: but I certainly believe that we can eat food after
- 2:04Speaker 2: companies say we shouldn't. I am a strong believer in that,
- 2:08Speaker 2: and I've only paid the price a few times.
- 2:12Speaker 4: Well, you know, you know.
- 2:14Speaker 1: The beautiful thing about it is generally the sniff test
- 2:18Speaker 1: will will root out any problems.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, trust your nose. It's it's there for
- 2:23Speaker 2: a reason. It's not there just to ruin your romantic life.
- 2:28Speaker 2: If it's if it's a bad snause. Although if it's
- 2:30Speaker 2: a bad snaz you know, if that's like really really big,
- 2:33Speaker 2: that may be what saves your life. You can you
- 2:35Speaker 2: know small bad food before anybody else. So you know,
- 2:38Speaker 2: pluses and minuses. But according to the us DA, Monday
- 2:46Speaker 2: it was the last day to safely consume certain Thanksgiving
- 2:50Speaker 2: items like turkey, stuffing, potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, gravy,
- 2:55Speaker 2: and pumpkin pie can all be stored in the fridge
- 2:58Speaker 2: for three to four days. Okay, so day four is Monday.
- 3:06Speaker 2: If you don't want to waste the food you have,
- 3:08Speaker 2: most leftovers can last a few months. In the freezer,
- 3:11Speaker 2: so you got to get those in there. There is
- 3:13Speaker 2: one Thanksgiving staple though, that will survive in the fridge
- 3:16Speaker 2: a little bit longer. Homemade cranberry sauce lasts a week
- 3:21Speaker 2: to ten days, but the canned stuff up to two
- 3:24Speaker 2: weeks in the fridge. Something that will make my wife
- 3:27Speaker 2: do a happy dance in the other room. Because I
- 3:29Speaker 2: am not making this up. I think I tell you
- 3:31Speaker 2: the guys of this every Thanksgiving. The canned cranberry sauce
- 3:36Speaker 2: is one of my wife's favorite Thanksgiving staples.
- 3:40Speaker 5: So same with my mother. She loved that stuff. I
- 3:43Speaker 5: can't stand it.
- 3:45Speaker 2: And it has to be the canned It's not the
- 3:47Speaker 2: jellied stuff that looks natural. No, no, she wants the
- 3:50Speaker 2: most unnatural looking product on the planet on her plate.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Everything else can look normal. Turkey can look like turkey,
- 3:58Speaker 2: Stuffing can look like stuffing. Cranberry sauce has to have
- 4:01Speaker 2: the can lines in it.
- 4:03Speaker 5: M Yeah, my mother was the same way. I don't
- 4:07Speaker 5: know why.
- 4:07Speaker 6: I don't know where she picked that up from, but
- 4:10Speaker 6: I'm assuming it was like at the hospital and they
- 4:12Speaker 6: would have like, you know, like the potluck stuff that
- 4:14Speaker 6: people bring in. I'm sure sure, somebody brought in canned
- 4:18Speaker 6: uh granberry sauce, and my mother loved it.
- 4:22Speaker 2: As we finished on Sunday night, as we finished, according
- 4:26Speaker 2: to the USDA, in a proper amount of time. As
- 4:29Speaker 2: we finished our Thanksgiving leftovers, Tara had a slice of
- 4:33Speaker 2: the cranberry sauce jelly of whatever it is. At that point,
- 4:40Speaker 2: the congealed cranberry thing sliced on the plate ready to go. Yep,
- 4:47Speaker 2: with the ridges. It's not just ruffles that have ridges,
- 4:50Speaker 2: it's also the cranberry sauce on our Thanksgiving plates. So yeah,
- 4:55Speaker 2: Monday was, allegedly, according to the federal government, if you
- 4:59Speaker 2: believe the when it comes to this sort of thing,
- 5:02Speaker 2: that was the last safe day to eat your leftovers.
- 5:04Speaker 2: So don't ever say we'd never do anything for you.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Here inside the treehouse, we gave you a heads up
- 5:10Speaker 2: while keeping in mind. I will eat food well beyond
- 5:13Speaker 2: I'm supposed to, because I agree with you, Trey, especially
- 5:18Speaker 2: especially with the injectable marinate I use on our turkey.
- 5:21Speaker 2: That thing will last. I think it's like a solid
- 5:23Speaker 2: ten days. No, if it could, I eat it well
- 5:31Speaker 2: before that ten day mark, I gobble it up. Pardon
- 5:33Speaker 2: the punch. But if I wanted to hold off, I
- 5:37Speaker 2: think it can make it to ten days before it
- 5:39Speaker 2: turns it'll last a week, but not the four day
- 5:44Speaker 2: nonsense that the USDA is telling us.
- 5:49Speaker 5: I don't know. I think they might know a little
- 5:52Speaker 5: bit better than us.
- 5:54Speaker 2: So I look at it this way. I think Trey's right.
- 5:57Speaker 2: I think it's a recommendation, right, but I think they
- 6:01Speaker 2: try to get ahead of it a little bit. And
- 6:03Speaker 2: so let's say the actuality is five to seven days
- 6:06Speaker 2: recommended sniff test, like Trey was saying. But they tell
- 6:09Speaker 2: us three to four just so we all don't end
- 6:12Speaker 2: up sick and none of us show up to work
- 6:14Speaker 2: because they need the bodies at work.
- 6:20Speaker 5: Okay, that's an interesting theory.
- 6:23Speaker 2: That's That's just the way I'm looking at it. So, Trey,
- 6:24Speaker 2: I'm right there with you.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I mean, anything I cook, it lasts at least a week,
- 6:29Speaker 1: So I don't know why Turkey would be different.
- 6:31Speaker 5: M hm.
- 6:32Speaker 2: And like I said, mine's not gonna last that long anyway,
- 6:34Speaker 2: because I tear through it and need it all. So anyway,
- 6:37Speaker 2: there you have it. There's our Treehouse Public Service announcement
- 6:40Speaker 2: on the heels of Thanksgiving. Trey since you're not a
- 6:43Speaker 2: big Thanksgiving fan, did you hate everything?
- 6:47Speaker 4: No, it was.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Actually a as pleasant as one could have a day
- 6:54Speaker 1: with my mother.
- 6:57Speaker 2: In that case, I'm kind of happy for you.
- 6:59Speaker 1: I made a big change in how I do things,
- 7:04Speaker 1: and that is I cooked everything at my place and
- 7:08Speaker 1: then took it over there instead of cooking at her place,
- 7:12Speaker 1: which means she wasn't trapping me in the kitchen and
- 7:15Speaker 1: making my.
- 7:16Speaker 5: Claustrophobia go through the roof.
- 7:18Speaker 1: And then I was relaxed and not irritated and could
- 7:22Speaker 1: suffer through some of her you know barbs and you
- 7:27Speaker 1: know shitty comments and ultimately had a very nice day.
- 7:33Speaker 5: Jackie.
- 7:33Speaker 1: My stepmom came in, we had lunch together, and then
- 7:38Speaker 1: I gtfo'.
- 7:40Speaker 2: That's not bad, that's pretty well done. Congratulations. I'm happy
- 7:44Speaker 2: for you. Seriously, Raj, anything of note for you. I
- 7:48Speaker 2: know you're not a Thanksgiving guy either, wasn't big in
- 7:50Speaker 2: your home growing up, so it's not a big thing
- 7:52Speaker 2: for you as an adult.
- 7:56Speaker 5: No, it was.
- 7:57Speaker 6: It was actually nice, just kind of. We had a
- 7:59Speaker 6: friend's giving. That's a bunch of a bunch of people.
- 8:04Speaker 6: The day after Thanksgiving, we all met up at our
- 8:06Speaker 6: friend's place and.
- 8:10Speaker 5: It was really it was really nice.
- 8:11Speaker 6: Everybody brought something and we had the Cajun turkey and
- 8:18Speaker 6: uh somebody, who, in my opinion, won the whole game
- 8:22Speaker 6: is I don't know who it was. Nobody said anything,
- 8:25Speaker 6: but somebody bought two pans of cheddar biscuits from Red Lobster.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, now you're talking.
- 8:32Speaker 1: I think I think you can like Sam's or Costco.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Yeah you can't, or you can just go straight to
- 8:39Speaker 2: you know the place and buy him direct because you
- 8:41Speaker 2: already know they're good. There you have it where.
- 8:44Speaker 6: Yeah, somebody did that and nobody nobody claimed it, but uh,
- 8:49Speaker 6: I said out loud.
- 8:50Speaker 5: I was like, whoever brought these one the day?
- 8:53Speaker 2: Maybe it was a Thanksgiving miracle.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Finding a Red Lobster open would be a Thanksgiving miracle.
- 9:02Speaker 2: H I'll ask my mom. She knows where they all are,
- 9:06Speaker 2: every single one.
- 9:08Speaker 6: There's one in uh Garland off six thirty five that
- 9:11Speaker 6: used to be Red Lobster and now it's a funeral home,
- 9:13Speaker 6: but it still looks like a Red Lobster.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Well I know, or I've taken my mom for her
- 9:17Speaker 2: next birthday. Mom got good news, bad news.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Boys got a dream.
- 9:33Speaker 2: To see if they could do it too.
- 9:34Speaker 5: For one, you're.
- 9:40Speaker 7: In the treehouse, visits online a treehouse on here dot com.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Let's get Daniel Cook from Cook THEFW roofing and restoration
- 9:54Speaker 2: into the treehouse eight three three cook THEFW to get
- 9:56Speaker 2: your free home inspection scheduled and if you want. But
- 10:00Speaker 2: he'll also do that property review with you as well.
- 10:03Speaker 2: One thing he doesn't want to do is to have
- 10:06Speaker 2: any of his commercials here inside the treehouse slowed down
- 10:08Speaker 2: to where he sounds drunk.
- 10:10Speaker 3: That it's very good to talk to you again in
- 10:15Speaker 3: the day.
- 10:18Speaker 8: No, seriously, now, Dan, we will never show up to
- 10:20Speaker 8: your property drunk. I promise, and I don't want to
- 10:23Speaker 8: for people to think that we are so.
- 10:25Speaker 2: But I would not do that to you, especially not,
- 10:28Speaker 2: you know, because I don't want anyone thinking that. So
- 10:31Speaker 2: you're safe from my antics. I am not safe. Tray's
- 10:36Speaker 2: not safe, rog Jery, no one else is safe. You're safe.
- 10:39Speaker 8: You're good, good, good, because like I told you earlier,
- 10:41Speaker 8: when we were talking, the whole time I was listening
- 10:43Speaker 8: to the show, I was thinking of Doc Holiday and
- 10:46Speaker 8: Tombstone because it sounded to me like a Doc Holiday
- 10:50Speaker 8: program right there for a minute. And then you know,
- 10:52Speaker 8: rog I think would sound excellent slow down more consistently.
- 10:57Speaker 8: I just think that's the perfect way. He should even
- 10:59Speaker 8: do a get from now on in his comedy shows with.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Him slow down.
- 11:04Speaker 8: I think that would be a fantastic because there's nothing
- 11:07Speaker 8: I don't know why, but an Indian slowed down sounding drunk.
- 11:10Speaker 2: It's fantastic. That could be good, especially if he especially
- 11:14Speaker 2: if he puts on the accent. That could be really fun.
- 11:17Speaker 8: Elly, I was hoping he was going to say something
- 11:19Speaker 8: that you would do. You need to get him talking Indian,
- 11:21Speaker 8: something recorded, you know, obviously, and then come back a
- 11:24Speaker 8: week and I want to hear what.
- 11:25Speaker 5: It sounds like.
- 11:26Speaker 2: All right, I'm making a note right now. So there
- 11:29Speaker 2: you got a little show review by Daniel Cook. He'll
- 11:32Speaker 2: do that for your house for you have charge as
- 11:34Speaker 2: well eight three to three Cook DFW or the website

- 12:07Speaker 2: the website cook dfw dot com. The world's oldest bus
- 12:16Speaker 2: driver is on the loose in which it'sa falls. It's
- 12:20Speaker 2: actually not a warning, but it is a world record.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Ninety five year old Texas man has been driving buses
- 12:29Speaker 2: for more than three decades, and he's just been recognized
- 12:32Speaker 2: as the world's oldest bus driver. According to a video
- 12:36Speaker 2: posted on the city government's Facebook page Wednesday, Raymond Hager
- 12:41Speaker 2: began driving buses thirty five years ago after he ran
- 12:44Speaker 2: out of things to do at the age of sixty.
- 12:48Speaker 2: I hope to God I'd never run out of things
- 12:50Speaker 2: to do at the age of sixty. I think I'll
- 12:52Speaker 2: fill my days with something. A trip with his wife,
- 12:55Speaker 2: who Hager said knew him better than he knows himself,
- 12:57Speaker 2: quickly changed that. He says, we were in Wichita Falls
- 13:01Speaker 2: one day, down on Kemp Street. There's a bus stop
- 13:04Speaker 2: and the light was red and we pulled up right
- 13:06Speaker 2: beside the bus. My wife said, that's what you need
- 13:09Speaker 2: to do, is drive a bus. You like to drive
- 13:12Speaker 2: and meet with people. He's been doing it ever since,
- 13:15Speaker 2: he said, he planned on retiring at ninety five, but
- 13:18Speaker 2: his boss, the wife, had other plans. She said, wait
- 13:21Speaker 2: a minute, who said anything about you retiring? So he's
- 13:26Speaker 2: been allowed to stay on as long as he was
- 13:29Speaker 2: able to drive at least once a week, and so
- 13:34Speaker 2: this week the Guinness Book of World Records recognized him
- 13:37Speaker 2: as the world's oldest active male bus driver. Wichita Falls.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Mayor Tim Short even proclaimed November eighteenth, Hagar's birthday as
- 13:47Speaker 2: Raymond Hagar Day in Wichita Falls. That poor man. I mean,
- 13:57Speaker 2: this sounds like a situation where missus Hagar really does
- 14:00Speaker 2: not want him at home.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Well, miss Hager probably knows if he fully retired, he'd
- 14:05Speaker 1: probably be dead.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right.
- 14:10Speaker 5: Do you want me.
- 14:14Speaker 4: Well I mean Falls?
- 14:15Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean in Dallas No.
- 14:18Speaker 2: No, yeah, yeah, bus driver. What's the tap Falls at
- 14:22Speaker 2: the age ninety five? I think we're all okay with that. Dallas, No,
- 14:26Speaker 2: fort Worth absolutely not arlingkedn Nope. I don't want him
- 14:30Speaker 2: anywhere near the toll way because he'll be going the
- 14:32Speaker 2: wrong way in no time.
- 14:33Speaker 1: So uh, I mean, granted, I don't know that it
- 14:37Speaker 1: could be much worse than some of the driving I
- 14:39Speaker 1: see out of some of the dark buses.
- 14:42Speaker 2: But we're not talking about you, Big Stacy. You're still
- 14:46Speaker 2: our favorite dart bus driver. As far as I know,
- 14:50Speaker 2: he's never run anybody over. I don't know.
- 14:55Speaker 6: If I'm boarding the bus and I see a ninety
- 14:58Speaker 6: five year old bust, if I continue to board that bus,
- 15:04Speaker 6: I might just turn around and be like, I'll wait,
- 15:08Speaker 6: I'll walk it off.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Is there another one coming?
- 15:10Speaker 1: Now?
- 15:11Speaker 2: There's the thing. I was less surprised at a ninety
- 15:15Speaker 2: five year old bus driver in Wichita Falls than I
- 15:18Speaker 2: was that Wichita Falls has mass transit just in general.
- 15:25Speaker 5: It could be driving the school bus.
- 15:28Speaker 2: It's a city bus. I mean, I don't as far
- 15:30Speaker 2: as far as I can tell, I think it's a
- 15:32Speaker 2: city bus. I don't think it's a school bus. There's
- 15:33Speaker 2: no mention of kids or school bus anything. It's just
- 15:38Speaker 2: you know, the city and yeah, it's just he's driving
- 15:40Speaker 2: that bus. Now, I didn't I didn't see any photos
- 15:45Speaker 2: of it. I didn't watch the full you know package
- 15:48Speaker 2: that Fox four aired, so I don't know how big
- 15:51Speaker 2: the bus is. For all I know, he's ninety five
- 15:55Speaker 2: and they just you know, drew something behind him. So
- 15:58Speaker 2: when he looks in the mirror, it looks like a
- 15:59Speaker 2: full bus. I don't know. I'm assuming it's a real
- 16:02Speaker 2: job in real people. But yeah, but good for him
- 16:08Speaker 2: being that active at the age of ninety five.
- 16:12Speaker 6: No go home and and wait, wait for wait for
- 16:17Speaker 6: it to come. That's all you got to do, Just
- 16:20Speaker 6: wait for at ninety five, like you've won, you made it.
- 16:27Speaker 5: Let you go home.
- 16:28Speaker 2: But if that really is his one joy left, like
- 16:30Speaker 2: he would rather drive the bus a couple of days
- 16:33Speaker 2: a week. Then he would watch Ryan Seacrest just menace
- 16:40Speaker 2: Wheel of Fortune, Then I get it.
- 16:43Speaker 5: Well, I mean you.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Really want to talk about when people really rapidly decline
- 16:48Speaker 1: is when they don't have anything to do and they
- 16:50Speaker 1: just sit at home. Ye mean that ages people faster
- 16:54Speaker 1: than just about anything.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Yeah, especially if you're used to a certain activity level.
- 16:58Speaker 2: And it's like, if you have a job and you
- 17:00Speaker 2: retire at say sixty five, you need to find something
- 17:03Speaker 2: to kind of keep you busy, because you're right, you're
- 17:05Speaker 2: just sitting decline and that's not good for anybody. I
- 17:07Speaker 2: was surprised my grandmother lasted as long as she did
- 17:10Speaker 2: because I mean, for like fifteen years she was on
- 17:13Speaker 2: a steady diet of bedroom Fox News and butter pecan
- 17:17Speaker 2: ice cream from you know, Blue Belt. The fact that
- 17:20Speaker 2: she hung on for fifteen years was pretty impressive.
- 17:23Speaker 5: My mom.
- 17:24Speaker 1: That's pretty much my mom, and I believe it's just Spie.
- 17:30Speaker 2: There's actually a Fox News two channel that she watches
- 17:33Speaker 2: and it's it's nothing but hate about Trey.
- 17:39Speaker 5: But I'm just saying it.
- 17:40Speaker 6: Like when Betty White died, everybody was like, oh, it's
- 17:44Speaker 6: so sad, and I'm like, she outlived three husbands and
- 17:48Speaker 6: all her friends were dead, like at that point, like,
- 17:51Speaker 6: this guy's ninety five, he's got is his wife still alive?
- 17:54Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 17:54Speaker 4: She is?
- 17:55Speaker 6: Eh, Okay, that's the only person he's got. Everybody else,
- 17:59Speaker 6: I promise you has died. Well, here's the thing, and
- 18:04Speaker 6: it's the same thing with a pet. Really quality of life.
- 18:07Speaker 6: I mean, do you still have some quality of life?
- 18:09Speaker 6: I mean Betty White still had quality of life.
- 18:11Speaker 5: I mean she was still going. Uh. I think that's
- 18:14Speaker 5: the key.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Yeah, And like you said, Trey, it's also about you know,
- 18:19Speaker 2: staying busy. Like this past weekend, you know, Tara and
- 18:22Speaker 2: I did a bunch of stuff around the house to
- 18:26Speaker 2: see what we could actually get done so we didn't
- 18:28Speaker 2: have to pay somebody else to do it, and I'm
- 18:30Speaker 2: still sore. I mean, granted, some of it was, you know,
- 18:34Speaker 2: fairly you know, involved in physical. Like we had to
- 18:40Speaker 2: dig up part of our chain link fence because it
- 18:42Speaker 2: had fallen down from like rain runoff, So having to
- 18:45Speaker 2: pull that up kind of before it falls into a
- 18:48Speaker 2: gut behind the house, and there's all sorts of overgrowth
- 18:51Speaker 2: on it, so trying to dig that out because it's
- 18:55Speaker 2: had growth over the top of the chain links, So
- 18:57Speaker 2: trying to dig that out and then pull it up,
- 18:59Speaker 2: that was fun. My low back is still kind of
- 19:02Speaker 2: angry at me for it and my shoulder. And then
- 19:06Speaker 2: we repaired our master bathroom door by smacking it a
- 19:09Speaker 2: few times because it's one of those barn door things,
- 19:12Speaker 2: so we kind of got it was dragging on the
- 19:14Speaker 2: ground on the wall, so we got that fixed. We
- 19:16Speaker 2: did that, got the kitchen faucet gets kind of loose
- 19:22Speaker 2: because it wasn't installed properly, so you got to get
- 19:24Speaker 2: up underneath and tighten the nut. Did that and that's
- 19:27Speaker 2: not easy. I got wide shoulders. Crawling in underneath the
- 19:30Speaker 2: sink is not easy with all.
- 19:31Speaker 5: The hoses and things.
- 19:35Speaker 2: And then oh, the dishwasher door. Do you know the
- 19:39Speaker 2: the door pulley system that keeps the door from you know,
- 19:43Speaker 2: slamming open. I now do, because ours was opening up
- 19:48Speaker 2: too quickly. So we had to get in there. I
- 19:50Speaker 2: had to unhook it, not unhook it, but I had
- 19:52Speaker 2: to unmount it from the you know, the bracket and
- 19:54Speaker 2: then slide it out a little bit and then get
- 19:57Speaker 2: in there and fix that. Did that, and then Tara
- 20:02Speaker 2: painted the hall ceiling. That was really good. I think
- 20:04Speaker 2: she's still story from that one. So this is what
- 20:09Speaker 2: happened to me on a Saturday, and I'm still feeling it.
- 20:11Speaker 2: I can't fathom, you know, ninety five and be like
- 20:14Speaker 2: I might do one of those.
- 20:19Speaker 6: If I mean, if I if it was like a
- 20:22Speaker 6: private bus or whatever, and like this ninety five year
- 20:24Speaker 6: old came in, He's like, I'm ready to go to work.
- 20:27Speaker 5: I'd be like, but just go home. Let's just get
- 20:29Speaker 5: in the recliner and it's coming soon. And when you
- 20:32Speaker 5: see the light start walking towards it, you're good. You
- 20:36Speaker 5: know what.
- 20:36Speaker 2: I think that's probably what Tera will do to me,
- 20:38Speaker 2: is she's going to hone in one of these days.
- 20:42Speaker 2: On the fact that I used to think I was cold,
- 20:45Speaker 2: trickled in Days of Thunder in my refrigerator box as
- 20:48Speaker 2: a kid. So I think eventually she's just gonna put
- 20:51Speaker 2: me back into refrigerator box and tell me to go
- 20:53Speaker 2: to work, like okay. So if you guys ever come
- 20:58Speaker 2: over and you see me in the driving around in
- 21:01Speaker 2: refrigerator box, just.
- 21:03Speaker 5: Go with it.
- 21:04Speaker 1: I thought you were gonna say that, you know, when
- 21:07Speaker 1: you see the light, she's gonna help you with a hammer.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Well there's also that very strong possibility. But I'll be
- 21:16Speaker 2: in the box and she'll just be behind me as
- 21:18Speaker 2: an angry passenger.
- 21:25Speaker 5: You're getting a triose.

- 22:44Speaker 2: on today's show by sharing this question for you kind
- 22:49Speaker 2: of a little game. All right, here we go, Trey Raj.
- 22:53Speaker 2: What is a grandma stand? What is a grandma stand?
- 22:58Speaker 2: Is it a a place to leave grandma? You pick
- 23:01Speaker 2: her up like a car when you're ready. Is it
- 23:04Speaker 2: be a place to talk to and listen to a grandma?
- 23:08Speaker 2: Or is it see a device that will keep your
- 23:10Speaker 2: grandma up right while you do other things? See see
- 23:18Speaker 2: a device that will keep your grandma up right while
- 23:20Speaker 2: you do other things? No, that is incorrect, Trey, would
- 23:23Speaker 2: you like a fifty to fifty guest?
- 23:25Speaker 5: I'll go be.
- 23:28Speaker 2: A place to talk to and listen to a grandma
- 23:30Speaker 2: that would be correct. And it's happening in downtown McKinney.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Oh wait, hang, I gotta share this with you first,
- 23:36Speaker 2: hang on you and bam, here we.
- 23:41Speaker 4: Go in a place that will sell you everything. One
- 23:45Speaker 4: grandma is buying on your time.
- 23:48Speaker 2: We're talking and listening.
- 23:50Speaker 4: Okay, your grandma stand that will have you sit, give
- 23:53Speaker 4: each other space and share. That was great and learn
- 23:57Speaker 4: just getting it out. There are a few is Grandma, Nancy.
- 24:01Speaker 4: The way you handle this is really going to affect
- 24:04Speaker 4: your future. Ask her anything.
- 24:06Speaker 2: I love this. It's downtown McKinney, which if you guys
- 24:09Speaker 2: have ever been to downtown McKinnon, It's a cute little square.
- 24:11Speaker 2: It's you know, it's Americana type of deal. And there
- 24:14Speaker 2: she is, and you know, a homemade little stand with
- 24:18Speaker 2: it says Grandma on it Grandma and Nancy is next
- 24:21Speaker 2: to her little name plate, and she's just talking to
- 24:23Speaker 2: the kids with their nose rings and purple hair as
- 24:26Speaker 2: they sit and talk to her and ask her questions
- 24:28Speaker 2: and stuff.
- 24:29Speaker 5: Okay, I'm officially.
- 24:30Speaker 4: Old, seventy years old and loving. I want to.
- 24:33Speaker 5: Seize the moment and have an impact.
- 24:35Speaker 4: Two boys, then three girls, five children. Don't forget eleven
- 24:39Speaker 4: grandchildren and one great grandchild. All the privileges and none
- 24:43Speaker 4: of the responsibilities. Downtown McKinnie wanted to build community. I
- 24:47Speaker 4: thought this stand that started in New York City would
- 24:50Speaker 4: do well here to ask for a marriage advice. Oh,
- 24:54Speaker 4: three grandma's do this on a rotation. This is a
- 24:57Speaker 4: first in Texas. I really care myself, and the conversations
- 25:02Speaker 4: are as revealing the take long term as they are
- 25:05Speaker 4: rewarding that our world moves so fast. We never seem
- 25:11Speaker 4: to have enough time. I know, so why not share
- 25:15Speaker 4: with someone.
- 25:16Speaker 6: Who I love?
- 25:18Speaker 4: This? You're welcome. It was great.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Two things. First of all, I like how they never
- 25:29Speaker 2: showed the guy's face who went to ask for marriage
- 25:31Speaker 2: advice from Grandma Nancy, because he's clearly in trouble. And
- 25:37Speaker 2: the second thing is we need a tray stand where
- 25:43Speaker 2: people go and ask Trey life questions.
- 25:47Speaker 5: I don't think Trey wants to be bothered.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Oh I think he does. Do you see how big
- 25:51Speaker 2: his eyes just got. That wasn't fear. I think that
- 25:54Speaker 2: was excitement. I think he's kind of like.
- 25:55Speaker 4: I could, Yeah, I could do this.
- 25:56Speaker 2: I could really would be good advice, But I'm gonna
- 26:01Speaker 2: tell you some stuff.
- 26:03Speaker 1: May not be what you want to hear.
- 26:04Speaker 2: But I don't know if it's gonna be as uh
- 26:10Speaker 2: as family friendly as Grandma Nancy stand, especially if the
- 26:14Speaker 2: sign says Treys stand.
- 26:19Speaker 5: Yeah, that's ah, I'm watching that.
- 26:21Speaker 1: I was thinking, you know, if they did want to
- 26:23Speaker 1: open a stand that, uh, I could stock you know,
- 26:27Speaker 1: all entire north I mean I could from walks a
- 26:30Speaker 1: Hatchee to bottom and every town in between.
- 26:38Speaker 2: You're just the traveling barker after your I'll condy, I'll
- 26:45Speaker 2: come to your town and call everyone.
- 26:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Or if you you want advice from a then a
- 26:52Speaker 1: you know, I'll roll my mom out you know wherever.
- 26:59Speaker 2: That's a totally different stand brought to you by the
- 27:03Speaker 2: and those and those two stands could be side by side.
- 27:06Speaker 2: It's it's a it's sort of a chooser adventure as
- 27:08Speaker 2: far as what you're gonna get. You could, you know,
- 27:10Speaker 2: go to down toom M Kinney, talk to Grandma and
- 27:12Speaker 2: you get some sweet advice, maybe some good cookie recipes.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Or go to or go to Trey's mom's stand and
- 27:18Speaker 2: get totally different advice and lots and lots of judgment.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, if you want, uh, you know, rambling spike
- 27:28Speaker 1: filled uh idiocy. You know Trey's Moms stand. Uh, it's
- 27:36Speaker 1: just for you, buddy.
- 27:38Speaker 2: I feel like you just described most of TikTok, so
- 27:41Speaker 2: I feel like we're onto something here. Rambling idiocy.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Yeah, she could give Bucy a run for her money
- 27:52Speaker 1: or his money, that's for sure.
- 27:54Speaker 5: Now that's a stand I would go to. Yeah.
- 27:59Speaker 6: Really, I'm not really a big fan of this Grandma stand,
- 28:02Speaker 6: but if you had a Gary Busey stand, it would
- 28:05Speaker 6: be there.
- 28:06Speaker 2: I don't know if you could have one with Gary Busey,
- 28:08Speaker 2: because I feel like he would just run off and
- 28:10Speaker 2: then and now and now people are looking for him.
- 28:13Speaker 2: It's a thing. There's a Bucy alert and that scares
- 28:15Speaker 2: people when they see it on those signs on the highway.
- 28:18Speaker 2: You see alert watch out if seen, do not approach.
- 28:24Speaker 5: Traveling with Pumpkinhead.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Law enforcement. When they went he spotted. They have to
- 28:29Speaker 2: show up in the bite suits like they use with
- 28:32Speaker 2: the canines, and even then there's somebody he can go
- 28:37Speaker 2: right through.
- 28:39Speaker 5: I mean, I do think the Grandma's stand is a
- 28:42Speaker 5: cute idea.
- 28:44Speaker 6: I just it is a very It was a very
- 28:48Speaker 6: white thing, like she's not like I can't come to
- 28:51Speaker 6: her with like first generation son of immigrant problems, Like
- 28:55Speaker 6: she won't understand that.
- 28:56Speaker 2: You don't know that she might be an immigrant.
- 29:01Speaker 5: I don't know if you saw her.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Maybe she's from Iowa, raj. That look, Texas is a
- 29:10Speaker 2: whole other world when you come from anywhere else.
- 29:13Speaker 6: Yeah, that was just everybody like just looks like downtown
- 29:17Speaker 6: McKinney is like, oh, this is where all the white
- 29:19Speaker 6: people are.
- 29:20Speaker 2: It is. I've been there a few times.
- 29:22Speaker 5: It is.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Although hearing you say that, I think there is an
- 29:25Speaker 2: opportunity though. It'd be a great opportunity to get multi cultural,
- 29:30Speaker 2: you know, advice or input. You could have an Indian
- 29:34Speaker 2: grandma or mom or dad.
- 29:36Speaker 5: You don't you don't want that?
- 29:38Speaker 2: Why not?
- 29:40Speaker 6: It would just be shut up. I've seen war. Could
- 29:47Speaker 6: you had bitching? I was in the war and like
- 29:50Speaker 6: which one pick one? They were in that war? Yeah,
- 29:58Speaker 6: you don't want Indian grandma advice. It would just be
- 30:00Speaker 6: shut up and go back to go back to work.
- 30:04Speaker 6: Like that's all it would be.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Sometimes that's what some people need to hear.
- 30:11Speaker 6: Yeah, I think the girl with the purple hair and
- 30:13Speaker 6: the septum ring, like I don't I don't know what.
- 30:17Speaker 6: I don't know what advice she was asking from grandma,
- 30:19Speaker 6: but I hope it was like, you know, take that
- 30:22Speaker 6: out and you know, like that's not going to do.
- 30:25Speaker 6: She said something about her future, and I was like,
- 30:28Speaker 6: I'm pretty sure she was talking about the septum.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Ring and maybe a more natural hair color.
- 30:36Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:36Speaker 6: Uh, because you're expecting the grandma to have the blue hair.
- 30:41Speaker 5: She doesn't.
- 30:42Speaker 2: So I mean, don't get me wrong. That look is
- 30:45Speaker 2: great for you know, Starbucks local, but if you want
- 30:48Speaker 2: to be Starbucks corporate, you may have to yes, change
- 30:51Speaker 2: the look a little bit. I follow you. Yeah, Well,
- 30:54Speaker 2: here's something else to keep in mind. As the generation
- 30:58Speaker 2: before us tries to find things to do to stay busy,
- 31:02Speaker 2: some some of them got really famous when they were younger,
- 31:04Speaker 2: and because of that, they start writing books and they
- 31:08Speaker 2: start telling us things that we didn't want to know about,
- 31:11Speaker 2: like in the case of paul Anka, because in doing
- 31:15Speaker 2: show prep today, as I come across headlines, I have
- 31:17Speaker 2: to see paul Anka saw Sinatra's penis in the sauna.
- 31:21Speaker 2: The size rumors are true. Why is paul Anka telling
- 31:24Speaker 2: me about old blue eyes? Big eye. I don't. I don't,
- 31:29Speaker 2: can can we have some mystery?
- 31:32Speaker 4: I don't.
- 31:32Speaker 2: I don't need to know who's packing and who's not,
- 31:36Speaker 2: especially when in some cases they'll show you.
- 31:42Speaker 5: Well, good, good for old Frank.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I'd never heard that about Frank, so you know
- 31:48Speaker 1: I had because there's a quote from one of his
- 31:51Speaker 1: exes that is pretty legendary.
- 31:54Speaker 2: I'll tell you what that is here in just second.
- 31:56Speaker 2: But Paul Anka, the singer songwriter, confirmed rumors about Frank
- 32:01Speaker 2: Sinatra's impressive member during a conversation with Page six, telling
- 32:05Speaker 2: the outlet it was huge, before adding I don't know
- 32:09Speaker 2: what that does for you. Well, if you had one,
- 32:10Speaker 2: you would know. Anca says he would hang out with
- 32:15Speaker 2: Frank good wording there and the rest of the rat
- 32:18Speaker 2: pack in Vegas regularly, and they'd all get in the
- 32:20Speaker 2: sauna together, during which he joked he had trouble with
- 32:23Speaker 2: eye contact.
- 32:25Speaker 5: Okay.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Sinatra's ex wife, Ava Gardner hang on a second. Ava
- 32:34Speaker 2: Gardner allegedly once said Sinatra may have just been a
- 32:37Speaker 2: skinny one hundred and ten pounds, but she said ten
- 32:41Speaker 2: pounds of his weight. Is a quote which has lived
- 32:47Speaker 2: on for years, even if it may or may not
- 32:50Speaker 2: be true. And while you know Sinatra may be dead,
- 32:54Speaker 2: I've heard that quote, so that that lives for good measure.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Anka Paul Anka adds at Sinatra was not the only
- 33:02Speaker 2: large star he saw in real life. Again, Paul Anka
- 33:05Speaker 2: was an accomplish singer songwriter. He's writing a book before
- 33:08Speaker 2: he dies, and he can't get other guy's wieners out
- 33:11Speaker 2: of his mouth as far as the book is concerned.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Because here he also talks about Milton Burle's of course
- 33:19Speaker 2: kind of yeah, and he says, of course Milton Burle
- 33:22Speaker 2: was even bigger than Sinatra. Anchor Aca and Sinatra worked
- 33:26Speaker 2: together for years, but the former writing My Way, arguably
- 33:29Speaker 2: the latter's biggest hit. The new documentary titled Paul Anka
- 33:34Speaker 2: My Way comes out on HBO Max, And you never
- 33:38Speaker 2: know who's appendage he might dish on next. That is
- 33:42Speaker 2: not the tease you think it is.
- 33:45Speaker 5: Anybody worried about why paul Inca's in so many saunas.
- 33:51Speaker 2: It's not that he's in so many saunas. He's just
- 33:54Speaker 2: in one really happening one, just all day, all night,
- 34:00Speaker 2: us pruned up like crazy. But he's gonna he's but
- 34:03Speaker 2: he's in there making notes about who's gonna be worth
- 34:05Speaker 2: putting in his book.
- 34:06Speaker 5: Someday also heard the same thing about.
- 34:13Speaker 6: Uh was it Larry from The Three Stooges, apparently packing
- 34:18Speaker 6: some heat.
- 34:20Speaker 2: Like in that one episode when he beat Curly with
- 34:22Speaker 2: it he slapped both Curly and and Mow at the
- 34:27Speaker 2: same time. I imagine that ended up on the cutting
- 34:33Speaker 2: room floor. But but it was a hell of the
- 34:35Speaker 2: day on sets.
- 34:37Speaker 5: Deleted scenes.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Now we know the true shimp's true identity.
