  Speaker 1: I don't usually go live in this way, so I hope that you can hear me and everything is all good.

  Speaker 1: Normally I do something on my phone, but I wasn't feeling like doing the phone and I just wanted to come on and just say a couple of things about this new month, as we've kind of shifted into the month of October, and so there were just a few things that I wanted to share, that I was studying this morning, and I hope that this is catching you.

  Speaker 1: You know, for those that you all heard, maybe at church right now and you'll come back and watch the replay For those of y'all who are not in a church home, and maybe this is the first message that you're getting I definitely wanted to make sure that, as the Lord puts it on my heart, I'm also sharing it with you and that we're all getting blessed.

  Speaker 1: So, first off, it's October.

  Speaker 1: I'm so excited that we made it to another month, because I'm really highly anticipating many more blessings for all of us in our families and our homes and whatever it is that you've got going on.

  Speaker 1: I'm really anticipating this new season of more faith and even growth for all of us.

  Speaker 1: So I'm so grateful that we have made it to another month.

  Speaker 1: So, lord, we just thank you for letting us see another month this month, and the number 10 being completion in your eyes.

  Speaker 1: So we just thank you that the things that we've started at the beginning of this year and beginning of our journeys, they start to come to completion in every way and a blessed way.

  Speaker 1: So thank you, lord, for that.

  Speaker 1: So that's the first thing.

  Speaker 1: I definitely wanted to make sure that I I didn't want to do like an October post where folks are putting out posts and what the Lord told them and everybody's prophesying about how you're going to be blessed this year.

  Speaker 1: I didn't want to do that.

  Speaker 1: I really want to come from the heart.

  Speaker 1: Some things are from the heart and encouragement, but always from a position of posture, like I'm always sharing, from a position that is based on what the Lord is showing me in the word.

  Speaker 1: I always want to encourage you, I always want to inspire you to go back and read what the Lord is saying in His words so that you can get the full breadth of knowledge and as I get it, I share it with you.

  Speaker 1: But this month of October, I'm just praying that all of you who are standing in need of something, whether it's health or finances, or just trying to get your mind right, trying to complete things that you started before that.

  Speaker 1: You'll see that.

  Speaker 1: You'll see that this month of October.

  Speaker 1: So there's a few things I want to talk about as we shift into October, and the first thing that I wanted to cover with you is the change and transformation.

  Speaker 1: Even so, just the same way as our seasons change, we change, and so, in the month of October, I'm praying for us that we'll really encounter some transformation in the way that we are approaching the people around us, the situations that we're in.

  Speaker 1: The word says in 2 Corinthians 5.17,.

  Speaker 1: Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.

  Speaker 1: The old has passed away.

  Speaker 1: Behold, the new has come.

  Speaker 1: So some of y'all need to leave what happened in September, in September, because October is a new thing.

  Speaker 1: Let go of anything that didn't turn out the way you thought it would.

  Speaker 1: Or maybe you didn't get the job that you wanted, maybe you didn't get the blessings you thought you deserved, maybe folks were acting crazy.

  Speaker 1: Whatever, right, leaving those things, you know.

  Speaker 1: Leaving those things back in September.

  Speaker 1: Let them stay in September.

  Speaker 1: This is a new month and old things have already passed away, it's already happened, it's already done, and this is a new thing and you're also a new creation, a new mindset.

  Speaker 1: You know, really seeking out God in a different way, going deeper into the Word, not just reading it for your own knowledge, but really reading it with the help of the Holy Spirit, so you can really unlock some of the mysteries that are in the Word.

  Speaker 1: And then how, lord, do I apply it to my life?

  Speaker 1: You know so, really thinking about, you know again, this being a new month and another opportunity for you to grow and to be transformed in the Word, and as the Lord is sending help, you know, oh, god is just amazing.

  Speaker 1: So I'm, so, I'm so excited about the change and transformation that's going to come upon you this month.

  Speaker 1: The second thing is around gratitude and just being grateful for what we have.

  Speaker 1: Y'all, it's October, it's been, you know, we're coming on 10 months.

  Speaker 1: It's been a long year for a lot of people.

  Speaker 1: A lot of people have suffered many, many losses, but a lot of people have been really, really blessed this month.

  Speaker 1: So I just want to talk about being grateful for what you have.

  Speaker 1: So maybe you don't have everything that you think you ought to have.

  Speaker 1: Maybe you don't, you feel like you have everything that you deserve or all the things that you worked for, but this, this, this posture of just being grateful for what you have.

  Speaker 1: So again I'm reading out the ESV version, which is the English Standard Version, which is the the otherwise known as Easy Shelly Version.

  Speaker 1: That's how the Lord tells me easy Shelly, you need to come into Word.

  Speaker 1: So first, thessalonians 5, verse 18 says give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ for you, for you.

  Speaker 1: So there are going to be situations that come around that's going to look like it's a you're being attacked, and it's truly not, it's just.

  Speaker 1: It's just Lord.
• 5:54
  Speaker 1: The Lord has to move some things out of your way, and sometimes you're the one that's in the way.

  Speaker 1: So sometimes you've got to move you out of the way.

  Speaker 1: And even in those situations, those growing pains, they you know it's is painful, right, it could be hurtful, it could be disappointing, it could be all those things, but even in those circumstances, giving thanks just the same, because this is the will, the will of God in Christ for you.

  Speaker 1: If we're saying that we want all things to work together for our good.

  Speaker 1: Just know that sometimes some things are gonna.

  Speaker 1: You know it's not gonna be as pleasant as you or as easy as you think it is, but it doesn't mean that you're being attacked.

  Speaker 1: It doesn't mean that you know your things are coming for you.

  Speaker 1: It doesn't mean that the Lord forgot you.

  Speaker 1: It doesn't mean any of that.
• 6:42
  Speaker 1: It just means that there's some situations that need to be removed so that you can move forward.

  Speaker 1: Right, there's some lessons you gotta learn before you can get to the next level.

  Speaker 1: You can't get in through elementary school and start taking high school tests, okay.

  Speaker 1: So there's some things that have to happen.

  Speaker 1: But just really being grateful for all and everything that's happening, the small things, y'all, just even being grateful for seeing another month.

  Speaker 1: So I hope that is your in this day, that you're even just thanking God for just this new month of October and being grateful that you were able to see another day, right.

  Speaker 1: And the last thing is just around having hope and faith and just I hope, I hope.

  Speaker 1: I hope that your faith is expanded.

  Speaker 1: And the word says faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we don't see.

  Speaker 1: So faith is confidence in what we hope for.

  Speaker 1: So being confident in what we're hoping for right, that the Lord is gonna deliver, but having the assurance, like I know, and assurance about what we don't see that, even though I don't see this thing being played out right now, I'm assured that, because the Lord loves me, all things are working together for my good and it will happen for me.

  Speaker 1: And you know, I even challenge us to go a little bit step further that we start asking the Lord to remove the things that were never meant for us so we don't create more chaos and disappointment and all that stuff, and then we start blaming it right, asking him, like Lord, remove the stuff that was never meant for me.

  Speaker 1: I don't want that.

  Speaker 1: I want what you have for me.

  Speaker 1: I wanna be on the path that you created for me and that's the way that I wanna go into the month of October.

  Speaker 1: So that's what I had.

  Speaker 1: Like I said, I didn't wanna do, you know, a image post with a prayer and just letting that fly.

  Speaker 1: I really wanted to make sure that I connected with whoever was able to listen to this live and whoever is able to listen to this on the replay, that I'm really grateful for you and praying many, many, many, many blessings for you and your family in the month of October.

  Speaker 1: This is a season of faith and growth.

  Speaker 1: This is a season where we're gonna be grateful we're gonna be leaning into being more grateful for, you know, eat, what we call the little things, breath, food, life right, our family, our kids, our spouses, our jobs, whatever we're just gonna be approaching October and praising God every day for these blessings.

  Speaker 1: So, lord, we just thank you again for this opportunity to come before you.

  Speaker 1: I thank you, lord, that you've allowed me to see another month, much like you've done with all of our brothers and sisters who are gonna get this message.

  Speaker 1: Lord, we know that things aren't perfect in everybody's life, and you know, we know that there are those of us who are standing in the way, still standing in hope, still have assurance that, lord, you're gonna deliver and you're gonna come through, and so I thank you, lord, before we even ask you for anything else, thank you for the blessings that you've already provided.

  Speaker 1: Protect us, lord, as we go through this Sunday and just watch over and care for our families.

  Speaker 1: Lord, I thank you that your love covers all and, lord, we just thank you.

  Speaker 1: Thank you that this is a new day, a new season, and I thank you for the transformation that's already happening in all of our lives.
