- 0:00Hello, everybody. Welcome to the One Small Change podcast,
- 0:04and I am thrilled that you have taken time again to join me on
- 0:07this exciting journey of transformation for all of us.
- 0:11And I think that, you might know me or you might not,
- 0:15but I'm the host, Yvonne McCoy, and I bring almost 30 years of entrepreneurial
- 0:19experience and goofiness and a passion for discovering growth through
- 0:23the power of seemingly small change. And so I wanna thank
- 0:26you for taking time out of your busy day. And if you're walking or doing
- 0:30something else, that's great too. So we're gonna be talking with
- 0:34the amazing Kat Politz. I
- 0:38I I stopped to think about it, and I goofed myself up.
- 0:42Kat Tulsa
- 0:46alright. Pats cats say it. Now I'm saying pat
- 0:50or cat. Bolsonelli. Bolsonelli.
- 0:53It almost it almost sounds like a pasta, anelle. Yep.
- 0:57Well, it's Italian. So It is. It is.
- 1:03And this is why I love her so much because she has such a great
- 1:06sense of humor and laughter, and she can roll with the
- 1:10punches. And when you're working with me, you have to expect the
- 1:14unexpected. And that's part of what we're gonna share is how a smaller
- 1:17unexpected, decision sparked a a remarkable
- 1:21transformation either in your growth, either personally or professionally.
- 1:25So, Kat, now that I've totally screwed your name up,
- 1:31I am so sorry. Tell us tell us what
- 1:35you do and and how this change had an
- 1:39impact on what you do, whether it's personally or professionally.
- 1:43Yeah. Sure. So first off, do not worry about the name. I
- 1:46promise there's a lot of people that have a hard time with it. No. I
- 1:50I think it's funny. It it I I love it. So, yeah. So as far
- 1:54as my company oh my gosh. I have tears. I was laughing so hard. I
- 1:57found another company, called the lotus effect,
- 2:01which, interestingly enough, is not the direction I
- 2:04ever thought that I was going to take in my life.
- 2:09The one small change, which I
- 2:13I guess is is kind of a big change as well,
- 2:17was both personal and professional, and that
- 2:21was that I decided to start
- 2:24standing up for my own morals. I started standing up for
- 2:28what I believed in, which happened shortly after getting out of a
- 2:3210 year abusive relationship. And in making that
- 2:35decision, I actually lost my job in my
- 2:39medical field that I had been in for 10 years. So
- 2:43that completely catapulted me into
- 2:46another direction in my life, but something
- 2:50that, to be honest, I was ready to try because
- 2:54what I had been doing wasn't working, and the way that I was being treated
- 2:58wasn't appreciated, and I was starting to acknowledge that.
- 3:02Well, you know, I I think and we we we talked about this
- 3:05earlier, that sometimes when something happens and it kind
- 3:09of unexpectedly knocks you down and makes you take a pause,
- 3:13it's really an opportunity to look around. I had
- 3:17the I had the same thing kind of happen to me in a corporate job
- 3:20that I was in. That, they didn't renew my contract,
- 3:24and I was, like,
- 3:28devastated, first of all. Mhmm. But it gave me an opportunity
- 3:32to really go, what is you know, I
- 3:35have some time. You know, it's gonna be, like, 4 years before my kids go
- 3:39to college. It's gonna you know, I have some time to do some
- 3:42things that I wanna do and not worry about bringing in a
- 3:46salary on a regular basis and decided to volunteer for adult
- 3:50literacy, which led me in a whole different direction than I
- 3:53had anticipated. Yeah. So tell me,
- 3:59you talked about working in your values. I talk about also working
- 4:03in your vision and your values. So it
- 4:06to me, when things have gone wrong
- 4:11or not working the way that I want them, the first thing that I say
- 4:15is, you know, where was this in my vision, or what is this
- 4:18person's values? And, you
- 4:22know, what is their commitment level? So tell me how
- 4:26how that kinda came into if it did come into
- 4:29into your story. Yeah. So I feel
- 4:33like, you know, everybody has values,
- 4:37and a lot of us actually don't think about what those values are.
- 4:41I think that, you know, generically, we're like, oh, well, you know, obviously, I want
- 4:45someone that's honest and someone that's trustworthy and, you know, the
- 4:48these, I wanna I don't wanna say superficial, but kind of superficial
- 4:52pieces that society kind of puts out there. It wasn't until
- 4:56I decided that I was sick and tired
- 4:59of everyone telling me who I was. I was sick and tired of
- 5:03people telling me the way that things needed to be done when I knew that
- 5:07there was a better way, or I disagreed with the
- 5:10way that things were being handed handled morally.
- 5:14Right? That was one of the reasons why I had conflict in my medical
- 5:18job was because we were not on the same terms. My
- 5:22doctor at the time was all about money, and I was all about honoring
- 5:25what we had told our patients. And it wasn't until the
- 5:29that time that I realized I wanted to do something different
- 5:33that values actually started meaning something instead of
- 5:37just being something there that you hope people kind of meet you
- 5:41halfway. So for me now, values
- 5:44are extremely important when it comes to who I
- 5:48connect with, who do I allow in my circle, and who I work with.
- 5:52And that actually goes beyond just being honest and trust
- 5:55trustworthy. It goes to, do you
- 5:59honor yourself? Are you willing to take ownership for your
- 6:03fault in whatever it is even if there's a fault on the other
- 6:06side? And are you willing to see the perceptions or
- 6:10the perspectives of others around you and have an open mind to
- 6:14that so that you can continue to grow. Because if you have a
- 6:17closed mind, you're not gonna hear anybody else's
- 6:21ideas. You're not gonna understand anything that they have see because all you have is
- 6:25blinders on in the way that you want to do it. So those are values
- 6:28of mine that kind of progressively started becoming more
- 6:32apparent throughout the years as I started working on my own
- 6:35personal development. And it's been one of the best shifts I've
- 6:39ever had when it comes to being able to pick out
- 6:43who I want around me and who I don't really quick. But,
- 6:46you know, I I I think I I resonate so much with what
- 6:50you said because, you
- 6:54know, there are kind of like the basic things that that you
- 6:57expect to people. You know, you don't wanna work with murderers or thieves and that
- 7:01kind of stuff. Right? But but what we don't realize,
- 7:05I I think, is that
- 7:09some of the limiting beliefs that we have or that or that
- 7:13are put on us were put on from a
- 7:17society that, you know, the education part was
- 7:20done kind of, you know, so that you became the follower. So
- 7:24when you step out of that and try to do something out of the
- 7:28box, you know, in our childhood I mean, they
- 7:32did it in our childhood to keep us safe, but but, you know, you do
- 7:35something extraordinary and they go, keep your head down. Don't you know?
- 7:39And so one of the things that I have found
- 7:42recently, that has been a big thing for me
- 7:46is I wanna work with people who understand
- 7:50that there's enough for everybody. It's not a I win, you
- 7:54lose. You know, that there's enough abundance
- 7:58out there for everybody and that your weirdness and
- 8:01your, you know, your uniqueness is the thing that makes it
- 8:05makes you really special. So I don't want you to say don't do that or
- 8:08don't be like that. And Yeah. The other thing
- 8:12that has been amazing is,
- 8:16I took a positive intelligence course. And so
- 8:20the idea that with every, you know, with everything,
- 8:24you know, thing that happens, there's an opportunity or a gift.
- 8:29And that has been amazing. I mean, that, you know, I I
- 8:33I share with you the fact that I couldn't send out any emails for 10
- 8:36days. And I was, like, you know, a person with their hair
- 8:39on fire. And I said to my husband, I was born in the wrong century.
- 8:43I should be driving a horse and buggy. You know? I just
- 8:47I'm like, I'm so tired of these tech issues. Right?
- 8:50But, you know, what I found was how much time it actually
- 8:54took me to send out those broadcasts, and I was actually doing more
- 8:58personal contact with people as opposed to just, you know,
- 9:02blindly sending out emails. So I think Mhmm. You know,
- 9:07you know, we may say, this is how I like to work,
- 9:10but there's actually a value in there. I, you know, I
- 9:14value the relationships. I want to have relationships where
- 9:17we can support each other. I want to have relationships
- 9:21that are honest where somebody says to me you know, I had one of my
- 9:24clients go to one of my workshops, and she said to me afterwards, she
- 9:28goes, I don't you know, I I feel really weird
- 9:31saying this to you. I I said, just blurt it out. Right? And
- 9:35she goes, the person that show that presented that workshop
- 9:39is not the per is not the coach that I work with.
- 9:44You know? The coach that I work with is, you
- 9:47know, spontaneous and, you know, and this workshop was just
- 9:51so structured. And I was like,
- 9:55wow. That is, you know, and, you know,
- 9:59from that I went from, like, 45 slides down to 9. Do
- 10:03do you know? So awesome.
- 10:06Yeah. So I think that, you know, we think
- 10:09about values kind of, like, as honesty and stuff like that.
- 10:13But how does that actually you know, when you say that, how does that actually
- 10:17show up when you're looking for people? Like, what are the things
- 10:20that are, like, you know, areas where you go, this is a
- 10:24red flag for me? For
- 10:28me, when we are defining values and we're
- 10:31thinking about what is super important to us or
- 10:35to me in general, First, it was clearly defining what
- 10:39was really important to me, and that was really hard in the beginning. So
- 10:42then it was, okay. Let's look back at the people I've had in my life,
- 10:46and what did I value from those people? And
- 10:50then which one of those seemed to kind of constantly overlap?
- 10:54Authenticity and just being yourself was huge for
- 10:58me. And I think that that was because for the really longest
- 11:01time out of my career and also out of my personal
- 11:05life, that wasn't allowed. It was a specific
- 11:09way. It was very structured. And so I value that
- 11:12to its absolute core. And I think that that's the difference
- 11:16between having values that we are aware of and having
- 11:19values that really mean something to us at
- 11:23our absolute core. But it also means that we have to be
- 11:26willing to follow those values. So authenticity is really
- 11:30big. Right? So I like to be quirky. I screw things up. I think
- 11:34it's hilarious, and I still think that you can share a powerful message.
- 11:38So I look for that in other people, but I also make sure that
- 11:42I'm showing up in that way. I look for people
- 11:45that, you know, are willing to see the other side of
- 11:49something even if you disagree and understand that
- 11:53someone can have their perspective and you can have your perspective and it doesn't make
- 11:56anyone right or wrong. There can be a very neutral space to be
- 12:00in. So it's a very big value for me, and I stand
- 12:03behind that in myself. So when I am meeting with someone,
- 12:07those are the first two things that I really pick up on that I really
- 12:11pay attention to. Do I feel like you and I are having a very
- 12:15open, honest conversation in the beginning,
- 12:18or are you trying to be a specific person
- 12:22to feel me out to see how I am going to open up to
- 12:26you? Those are huge indicators. And it's not that I don't like
- 12:30those people. And for some of them, we've had conversations
- 12:33and turned out to be friends, and they've continued to grow, and I've continued to
- 12:37grow. But it's an indicator of being aware of it and then
- 12:41assessing where is that person at in their
- 12:44growth stage, and can you 2
- 12:49match or are you gonna end up surpassing them? And that
- 12:52doesn't always happen in a 30 minute conversation. Right? It happens
- 12:56in the follow-up. It happens in the continued conversations. It
- 13:00happens in the actions behind that. Right? If I tell you,
- 13:03hey, I have these amazing people I'm gonna make introductions to, and I'm gonna give
- 13:07them to you in a couple of days and you never receive them, that
- 13:11says a lot about me. It may be that I'm overwhelmed. It may be that
- 13:14I just got busy and forgot, but that says a lot about me. That says
- 13:18a lot about how important the conversation that you and I had was
- 13:22to me. So those are the things that I'm looking for that I'm picking up
- 13:25on. If I'm meeting with someone and we are strategizing or
- 13:28brainstorming, but they are constantly bringing the same problem to the
- 13:32table and not willing to do something different about it,
- 13:36that lets me know that we are not on the same growth pattern. And that's
- 13:39fine, but that means that I need to not always
- 13:43say yes when they want to meet. Maybe start hanging out with other
- 13:47people or kind of just let that relationship kind of fizzle for
- 13:50a little bit. It doesn't mean that it's forever. I've had people come back into
- 13:53my life when they hit that next phase. But it's being very aware
- 13:57of that and being aware of what you are willing to put up with
- 14:01and what you are willing not to. And
- 14:04clearly defining those and being wholeheartedly
- 14:08okay with standing behind those core values.
- 14:12Well, you know, I think I I do agree with what
- 14:15you're saying and, you know, I have this thing called the 4 the the 5
- 14:19the far. Who knows
- 14:22what I did today, but my lips are not working. The 5
- 14:26r's. You know, you wanna do the right thing for the right reason at the
- 14:30right time, the right way that's right for you. And so
- 14:33that's kind of a moving target because any of those things can change and, you
- 14:37know, and so when you're working with people, I've one
- 14:41of the things that I find that I have had to ask
- 14:45to have a successful relationship, and I don't know if this is a
- 14:49value, but it's a truth. It's like, if we're gonna do
- 14:52something together, you have to tell me what your
- 14:56time frame and your time commitment is. Because
- 15:00I I I do not have an off button, unfortunately.
- 15:04And so if you say we're gonna do something, I'm going at a 150%.
- 15:09And if you've got something else that's going on in your life,
- 15:13you know, I need to know that upfront. Not that I'm not
- 15:16gonna still participate, but it's like, okay. I'm not
- 15:20gonna start working on this till a little bit later or when we get
- 15:24closer to what we're gonna do so that we're putting in the
- 15:27same amount you know, the equal amount of effort or whatever. I mean,
- 15:31I I I did a big project with somebody. We put it on a
- 15:35fast track only to find out that, and they didn't
- 15:39hadn't shared, that they had a planned trip in the middle of the time
- 15:42frame, which totally shifted,
- 15:46you know. And I was really happy for them for the trip that they were
- 15:50taking, but it was like, really? We we if I had
- 15:54known that, we woulda just pushed this back a month. Right? Yeah.
- 15:58So that for me is, you know, the same amount of
- 16:01effort and and and and I think it's really important for me.
- 16:05It's really important to understand
- 16:09that the magic happens when somebody
- 16:13is not exactly like you. And so what
- 16:16happens for me that I always have to be really careful about is I
- 16:20tend to go with my gut. Do you know? It's like,
- 16:24oh, I wanna do
- 16:28You know? And the and and other people I seem to be
- 16:31attracted to are much more methodical in in what they do.
- 16:35And so I'm like, you know, whatever it's attracting me to them
- 16:39is also it's kinda like in the marriage. The thing that attracted you to them
- 16:42is the thing that irritates you, you know. So,
- 16:46you know, after a while. So that's true a lot in the collaborations too.
- 16:50And and so a lot of what you're talking about, I call
- 16:53situational awareness. What's going on in the whole
- 16:57picture? If you've got stuff that's happening
- 17:01that that is, you know, you're tired. And you and I have
- 17:04both had the situation where we've had medical issues in our family
- 17:08that have totally changed our focus or our
- 17:12time commitments and and that kind of thing. So
- 17:17if you were going to
- 17:21talk about how people can take action steps, you know,
- 17:25in in their in their entrepreneurial, you know,
- 17:29or or their personal life with this? What would be some ways that they
- 17:33could actually put this to use?
- 17:36As far as if you're looking to really
- 17:40start stepping forward with your values and your core
- 17:44beliefs and looking at meeting people
- 17:48in that direction instead of just meeting people for the sake of meeting
- 17:52people. There's a couple of things that you want to
- 17:55do first and foremost. And that is,
- 17:591, you need to take a look internally, and you need to see
- 18:03where you're at. 2, you need to get brutally
- 18:07honest with yourself of what you were good at,
- 18:11what you have been failing at, and what you were really committed to
- 18:14changing. Right? And then 3, you write those
- 18:18pieces down. What sticks out? What is important to you? And what have you
- 18:22valued in other people that have been around you? Now I say
- 18:25write them down because that stuff can shift when you're in
- 18:29different phases of growth, when you're in different phases of your life, both
- 18:33personally and professionally. That's going to shift a little bit.
- 18:36Right? And so you have to be aware of that. So it may be that,
- 18:40you know, for a few years, maybe commitment is a
- 18:43big thing for you. Honesty, integrity, and commitment. Right? That's
- 18:47what you're craving. That's the kind of people you want in your life because that's
- 18:50what you want to bring more of in your own. And that's
- 18:54great. Well, then a couple years down the low road, you may realize that like
- 18:58authenticity and just being silly and being fun is become a
- 19:01core value. So like you said earlier, they can always shift. They can always
- 19:05change, but being very present and aware of
- 19:09it is where it starts. You cannot go out
- 19:13and seek other people of the values that you are looking for if you don't
- 19:16understand the values that you already have internally and
- 19:20the values that you are willing to bring to the
- 19:23table. There has to be an energy swap.
- 19:27So, I mean, one of the one of the things that that I say,
- 19:31and I I wanna I want your take on this,
- 19:35Is sometimes we don't see the best in ourselves, and that happens
- 19:38a lot. And so sometimes, I the exercise that I do when I do
- 19:42my workshop is think about a time when you think you were your best,
- 19:46and then ask somebody who actually knew you then.
- 19:50Do you know? And I go back to when I was 21. And
- 19:53so, you know, one of the values that I one of
- 19:58the dimensions that I wanted was in I had an incredible amount of
- 20:01energy. I mean, I worked a part time job. I went to school full time.
- 20:05I partied. I did that. I did all
- 20:08kinds of stuff. But I asked a friend of mine, and she said,
- 20:12you were the most adventuresome person I knew. You would try
- 20:15anything. Do you know? And I was like, oh my
- 20:19god. It became such a stick in a mud. I won't try anything now unless
- 20:22I'm I'm sure about what's gonna go on. I'm not you know? And I'm
- 20:26like, I miss that. Mhmm. I miss that in my life. And
- 20:30so I think, yes, I think you have to look in
- 20:33yourself and be brutally honest, but I think sometimes
- 20:37you have to also and I and I preface this by saying,
- 20:41don't ask your family. Because your
- 20:44family your family remembers every bad thing you've
- 20:48ever done in your life, every failure that you've had. And I I used to
- 20:52joke that when my dad was in his nineties
- 20:55and I was in my sixties, he would
- 20:59still tell the story about when we went camping, and I was cooking
- 21:03the corn. And he'd say, is the corn done? And I would go, no. And
- 21:07he'd say, is the corn done? And I go, no. And and finally, he goes,
- 21:10Yvonne, the corn has gotta be done. And I said, but it hasn't turned
- 21:13yellow yet. And he goes, but it's white corn. Well,
- 21:17I didn't know. I'd never had some white corn beef. So I
- 21:21was waiting for it to turn yellow. I thought that's what it I mean, makes
- 21:25sense. You know? But I'm I'm saying that's a
- 21:28story that was, like, 50 years old. You know? And
- 21:32so you don't don't ask your family. Ask them ask
- 21:38them ask them the person that knew you kind of, you know, where you wanted
- 21:41to capture that. Because I think
- 21:45part of the success is being able
- 21:49I mean, if I said write a vision statement, write a mission
- 21:52statement, write a value statement, we would spend so
- 21:56much time word shopping it, you know, wordsmithing it that
- 22:00we would never get it. And so the exercise that come up with 3 words.
- 22:04And so the 3 words for me were energetic,
- 22:08adventuresome, and my husband said intriguing. And so when
- 22:12I wanna when I wanna make change and I wanna, like, be in
- 22:15myself, I say, how can I make this
- 22:19energetic, adventuresome, and intriguing? And at the time I was
- 22:23writing these, you know, really awful reports,
- 22:27and I would sneak little things in it. And I'm sure they took them
- 22:31out. But to me, it was, like, just a little, you
- 22:35know, something that made me happy.
- 22:39I mean, why not? So I think I think the steps that I'm
- 22:43hearing is be brutally honest with yourself,
- 22:48You know? And then and then the other part is
- 22:52get get a little bit of help from somebody who knew you
- 22:56at a time when you really, you know, were yourself and
- 23:00start to use it in a simplified manner every day. I mean,
- 23:03so, you know, you wake up every morning and go, what can I do today
- 23:07to be energetic and productive and profitable
- 23:10in my business? You know, or what can I do that's intriguing and
- 23:14adventuresome? That, I think we can handle in our busy schedule.
- 23:18I do you know what I mean? Yeah. So Yeah.
- 23:22So before we run out of time, let me let me just you've come with
- 23:25a gift, and so I want you to tell us about that.
- 23:29Not so today, I do not have a a
- 23:32gift, because we are making some changes in the
- 23:36business. But I will say that for anyone that is looking for
- 23:40additional information, around some pieces in
- 23:44their business or just honestly how to get organized and how to
- 23:47simplify things down, they're actually gonna wanna go to,
- 23:51whitenerpros.com. So it's someone that I've with. We're doing a lot of
- 23:55business strategy and operational, progression pieces together, and
- 23:59we are actually putting together some goal setting journals that we are gonna be
- 24:03able to share and things like that off of, her website. So I'm super
- 24:06excited about that piece, but it's just currently kind of
- 24:10unfolding. But as you know, as far as my business, and I know we had
- 24:13kind of talked about this before, we're transitioning and it's something
- 24:17that I'm super excited about for 2024 and 2025. I
- 24:21know I emailed you about this earlier this year, you know, was that I got
- 24:25sick and tired of trying to be the one to build all the things. And
- 24:27I started figuring out what really meant something to me and
- 24:31collaboration and working with amazing people alongside is
- 24:35where I feel like I thrive. And I think that that's a huge important thing
- 24:38for a lot of people that are listening to hear and understand.
- 24:42No one way of doing business is the correct way. The way that
- 24:46you want to do it is the correct way, and we have to remember that.
- 24:50I'm a very multipassionate person, so sticking to one
- 24:53niche never has worked for me, and I knew that. And so trying to put
- 24:57myself in that box has not worked for me. And for some people, it
- 25:01really does, and I love people that can do that. But it's really understanding
- 25:04who you are and how you operate to be able
- 25:08to decide those things and then be able to have a trajectory forward.
- 25:13So we're gonna put that link in in the information. And as Kat
- 25:17comes up with some other stuff, we'll update that. So you're gonna wanna come back
- 25:21and see it. You if I'm correct, you're you don't
- 25:24actually do any events, right, or workshop? Not
- 25:28currently. Not currently. I have to say that you you're gonna wanna
- 25:32reach out and book a call with her, because
- 25:35she is a fabulous person to talk to, and she is an amazing
- 25:39referral partner. And, you know, I was on her
- 25:43podcast I don't know how long ago. And I don't
- 25:46know if you want me to tell people this. I think, you know but but
- 25:50she has sent me some amazing referrals, and so that is worth
- 25:54its weight in gold right there. Somebody that remembers
- 25:57you and thinks about you and goes, oh, this is a good match. And
- 26:01she is when she said I do this, I was like, yeah. That's what
- 26:05everybody says. And within the, you know, in
- 26:09in the next, like, 2 weeks, she had sent me 3 or 4 people to,
- 26:12you know, to follow-up with. So she is, you know,
- 26:16true to her word. So when was the
- 26:20last time that you did something for the first time? Oh my
- 26:23goodness. Spot. Last time. Something for the first time. I I really
- 26:27haven't think about this now. I don't
- 26:31know. Oh, I you know what? I will tell you something I did for the
- 26:33first time, and a lot of people will probably laugh, but I've shared this
- 26:37story online. So, for any of your your viewers that are
- 26:41interested, give you a quick backstory. So I was in an abusive relationship for 10
- 26:44years. I've taken care of people since I was, like, 12. I'm the oldest of
- 26:473 girls as well. So, I've never actually
- 26:51traveled anywhere on my own because I've always taken care of kids. Once I
- 26:55got out of my abusive relationship, it was me and my 2 boys.
- 26:58And so actually a few months ago, I
- 27:02traveled like 2 and a half hours away from my
- 27:05home. And I spent 2 days with, another business partner
- 27:10who had an event that she was doing. She was the speaker that was there.
- 27:13And so I got to actually go there. I stayed at a hotel by my
- 27:17self. I've never done that before. So yes, I am 36. And that's the first
- 27:20time that I have ever, taken it, but I
- 27:24it's, I've always taken care of other people and my children and things like that.
- 27:27That hasn't been a part of my life. So that is something new that I
- 27:30got to do. And it was a lot of fun. I think I, sang myself
- 27:33until I was hoarse as I was driving to the hotel, and the people
- 27:37driving next to me probably thought I was crazy because I was dancing in my
- 27:40car down the interstate. Well, it's somebody
- 27:43gave me that question, and I went, oh. And I think the
- 27:47reason that I put it out there on each podcast is we should try we
- 27:50should be adventures and try something new for the first time,
- 27:54you know, whenever we can, whether it is you try a new dish or you
- 27:58travel or whatever. I think it it it lights your soul
- 28:01up. And so I am really sad to say that
- 28:05we have gotta wrap this up. And so the couple things that
- 28:09I wanna do is remind you that, the information is gonna
- 28:12be in the notes and that we're gonna we'll update that if
- 28:16we, you know, if other things come up. But, you know, we wanna make sure
- 28:20that you subscribe and share and engage with the podcast on social
- 28:23media. And I'm doing the podcast because it's a way for me to
- 28:27help build community and to help fuel your quest for growth and
- 28:31an impact. So I am so glad that you joined me for that and
- 28:35that, you know, it it comes out every week, and I hope that, you
- 28:38know, you have learned you have enjoyed listening
- 28:42to each episode and diving into the world of bold vision
- 28:46and innovative possibilities. So the other
- 28:49thing, Pat, is if you have a
- 28:53quote or something that you like to to say to people all the time,
- 28:57your last words of inspiration or innovation for
- 29:01us? My last words of inspiration. I always got something to say.
- 29:07Just yeah. Anyway, I would I would say
- 29:11that and this has been a a
- 29:14huge lesson for me and something I love to remind myself and other people
- 29:18of is it's not as hard as you
- 29:22think that it is. We create complexities
- 29:26around our world because we're raised in a world where things are supposed
- 29:30to be complex. But when you let go and you
- 29:33follow, it's not as complicated as you
- 29:37think it is. That's amazing. That's amazing. And and
- 29:41and I think you're absolutely right that
- 29:45simple can be very powerful. Mhmm.
- 29:49And so I add to that that change can be simple, but it is
- 29:53doesn't mean that it's always easy. And I think it takes a certain amount of
- 29:57courage to do something that you've never done before. So that's what I want
- 30:00you to remember, that it's it requires courage, resilience.
- 30:05And I think that that's the thing that makes life worth
- 30:08living is that you can change and get closer and get better
- 30:12to what you want. So join me again for the the one small
- 30:16change as we embark on this journey together. And
- 30:20until the next time, try to stay curious.
