- 0:00Speaker 1: NOWR presents no Mark Simon Shaw. Hey, this is a
- 0:09Speaker 1: big week, This is election week. It'll get decided probably
- 0:14Speaker 1: this week. Anyway, we'll get to that. We'll get to
- 0:16Speaker 1: ballroom derangement syndrome, Liberals melting down another thing they're going
- 0:21Speaker 1: crazy over they they're noticing changes at CBS and they're
- 0:26Speaker 1: going nuts over that. We'll get to New Jersey, the
- 0:29Speaker 1: race for governor, and a whole lot more coming up.
- 0:33Speaker 1: So early voting began Saturday. This is it's different nowadays.
- 0:40Speaker 1: It's no longer election Day. It's election month practically, so
- 0:44Speaker 1: election Early voting began Saturday with record turnout, all time
- 0:50Speaker 1: record turnout this weekend. Just on Saturday, it was five
- 0:55Speaker 1: percent more than normal turnout, five times the normal turnout
- 1:00Speaker 1: on Saturday. And it was happening all over the place.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Manhattan record turnout, Brooklyn record turnout, Queen's Staten Island, everywhere,
- 1:09Speaker 1: all time record turnout. Now here's the problem for Republicans
- 1:14Speaker 1: in New York City. There are three and a half
- 1:20Speaker 1: million registered Democrats. This is out of all the registered voters,
- 1:24Speaker 1: three and a half million are Democrats. There's six hundred
- 1:30Speaker 1: thousand registered Republicans. That's it. Three and a half million
- 1:34Speaker 1: to six hundred thousand. It's not good. Now there's one
- 1:38Speaker 1: point two million. Independence registered one point two million. So
- 1:45Speaker 1: usually you can sort of read something into very high turnout,
- 1:48Speaker 1: you can't do it this time. Nobody's sure exactly what
- 1:52Speaker 1: this high turnout means. It could mean record numbers of Democrats,
- 1:56Speaker 1: especially younger people demographics. They've noticed a lot of younger
- 2:00Speaker 1: people voting, so it could be the crazy gen X
- 2:03Speaker 1: socialist loving voters turning out in record numbers. They are
- 2:07Speaker 1: getting an increase in older voters. Those tend to go Democrat,
- 2:12Speaker 1: you know, common sense Democrat, like a Cuomo or a Curtis.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Nobody knows for sure. There is anecdotal evidence that some
- 2:20Speaker 1: Curtis voters are peeling off and going to Cuomo. They
- 2:24Speaker 1: don't like Cuomo, they just think he's the one with
- 2:26Speaker 1: the chance. Right now, there's only one pole in public.
- 2:31Speaker 1: You see all these junk polls, in these college polls
- 2:34Speaker 1: that aren't very good. But there's one poll which is
- 2:38Speaker 1: a pretty good poll. It's the only one that took
- 2:40Speaker 1: place after the second debate. In that poll, it shows
- 2:44Speaker 1: if it were a one on one race that Cuomo
- 2:47Speaker 1: would still lose by ten points, but it also showed
- 2:52Speaker 1: that if we were just Curtis versus Mom Dammie, Curtis
- 2:56Speaker 1: would only lose by eight points, So he actually does
- 2:58Speaker 1: better than Cuomo. You know, one on one race. But
- 3:02Speaker 1: we're not going to get that one on one race.
- 3:04Speaker 1: It's too late. It's not going to happen. And a
- 3:06Speaker 1: lot of the voting has already taken place, So what's
- 3:09Speaker 1: gonna happen. No one's positive there are Again, there's anecdotal
- 3:14Speaker 1: evidence of some voters peeling away from Curtis to go
- 3:19Speaker 1: to Cuomo, who they can't stand. They just think he's
- 3:21Speaker 1: got a better shot. And there's some supporters. Dove Hiken,
- 3:26Speaker 1: one of Curtis's big supporters, changed to Andrew Cuomo over
- 3:29Speaker 1: the weekend. He's not a Cuomo fan. He's had issues
- 3:34Speaker 1: with Cuomo over the years and even said he's not
- 3:37Speaker 1: a good guy, but he'll take him over Mom Donnie.
- 3:40Speaker 1: And he said, I have nothing but good things to
- 3:41Speaker 1: say about Curtis, but I'm just not sure at this
- 3:43Speaker 1: point he can win. We'll take a look at that
- 3:46Speaker 1: later in the program with one of the great polsters
- 3:49Speaker 1: who thinks Curtis actually can win. But we'll get to
- 3:51Speaker 1: that a little later. David Patterson is going to make
- 3:57Speaker 1: an endorsement today of Andrew Cuomo. Patterson. He's a great,
- 4:01Speaker 1: great guy, very smart guy. The only problem is he's
- 4:03Speaker 1: endorsed four people already. He's endorsed Adams, He's endorsed He's
- 4:07Speaker 1: gone back and forth a lot. But later today he'll
- 4:10Speaker 1: endorse Cuomo a lot of people, And privately they'll tell
- 4:14Speaker 1: you that they can't stand cuonmoa and they know he
- 4:17Speaker 1: was a bad governor and did a lot of horrible,
- 4:19Speaker 1: horrible things. The no bail, no jail, closing the prisons,
- 4:23Speaker 1: I mean, can go on and on and on, the
- 4:25Speaker 1: nursing homes, but they just don't want Mom Donnie. Now, well,
- 4:31Speaker 1: what about all the big donors, the big big money guy,
- 4:34Speaker 1: what about the Wall Street guys. You know, they're all
- 4:36Speaker 1: talking publicly about Cuomo. We got to get behind Cuomo,
- 4:39Speaker 1: But quietly, behind the scenes, they're all meeting with Mom Donnie.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Wall Street is getting ready for him. They here's one
- 4:48Speaker 1: of them. Off the record. You know, publicly they'll tell
- 4:50Speaker 1: you got to get behind Cromo. Off the record, privately,
- 4:53Speaker 1: he's just not likable. Sliwa is actually much more likable.
- 4:57Speaker 1: It's really sad. Now again, they are meeting with Mom Donnie.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Meetings are taking place all the time. There's this partnership
- 5:10Speaker 1: for New York City, This overpaid Catherine Wilde runs this thing.
- 5:15Speaker 1: But that's her. She's like a fixer for all of
- 5:18Speaker 1: this stuff. So she's been arranging meetings between all these
- 5:21Speaker 1: guys and Mom Donnie Bloomberg has been one of the participants.
- 5:24Speaker 1: So they're all meeting with Mom Donnie. Now I don't
- 5:26Speaker 1: know what I haven't heard yet what goes on in
- 5:28Speaker 1: these little meet and greet sessions with Deblasio. He was
- 5:33Speaker 1: pretty good with these big, big, big donors. He let
- 5:36Speaker 1: him know right away, you know, whatever you need, call me.
- 5:38Speaker 1: In fact, when he would meet the big zillionaire, first
- 5:41Speaker 1: thing he would say to me, you have my cell number? Right, No, well,
- 5:44Speaker 1: let me give you my cell number. Now they know
- 5:46Speaker 1: what that means, you call this anytime you need something.
- 5:49Speaker 1: And they also know it means they're even get calls
- 5:51Speaker 1: all the time for donations. But they're okay with that.
- 5:54Speaker 1: That's fine. So what if Mom Donnie were to win, Well,
- 6:00Speaker 1: there's still two ways to stop him. One, there are
- 6:05Speaker 1: several groups investigating the money that has flowed into him.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Tons of millions, tens of millions have flown into Mamdani
- 6:13Speaker 1: for this campaign. We know many millions, about four or
- 6:17Speaker 1: five million came from Soros through a million other organizations,
- 6:21Speaker 1: and there's a lot of that type of money. But
- 6:23Speaker 1: it's believed there's a lot of foreign money. They've already
- 6:26Speaker 1: found traces of money from China, the Middle East, all
- 6:29Speaker 1: sorts of places flowing in. If they can prove it
- 6:31Speaker 1: went to the campaign or to the candidate, or the
- 6:34Speaker 1: candidate knew about the foreign donations, they can remove him
- 6:38Speaker 1: as mayor. They can take him out of the race.
- 6:40Speaker 1: So if he wins a week from tomorrow, it's still
- 6:43Speaker 1: possible that he could be removed. It's a long shot,
- 6:46Speaker 1: but it's possible. An even longer shot. In Congress, they're
- 6:51Speaker 1: looking at to review mam Donni's citizenship and possibly strip
- 6:55Speaker 1: him of his citizenship, and they do this with a
- 6:58Speaker 1: lot of people. They go over there documents. If you
- 7:01Speaker 1: lied about anything, if you didn't declare that you were
- 7:04Speaker 1: a member of or affiliated with any communist or totalitarian party,
- 7:09Speaker 1: your citizenship application can be voided. You can't lie on
- 7:12Speaker 1: that application. So they're going over everything very carefully to
- 7:17Speaker 1: see if they can remove his citizenship. Now this is
- 7:20Speaker 1: a real long shot, but if he didn't declare all
- 7:24Speaker 1: the organizations that he was a part of or any
- 7:26Speaker 1: of that, or hid anything, they can take a citizenship
- 7:29Speaker 1: and then he can't be mayor. Now, one thing you
- 7:32Speaker 1: got to remember besides the mayoral race. It may be
- 7:35Speaker 1: hopeless at this point, but you got to get out there,
- 7:38Speaker 1: especially in Manhattan, and vote for some other people. The
- 7:42Speaker 1: district Attorney here in Manhattan is Alvin Bragg, who just
- 7:45Speaker 1: doesn't believe in putting criminals in jail. He lets them out.
- 7:49Speaker 1: First day in office, he put out that infamous memo,
- 7:52Speaker 1: we will not seek carcial sentences. In other words, we
- 7:55Speaker 1: won't put criminals in jail. It was another factor leading
- 7:59Speaker 1: to the CRIMEA can get rid of him a week
- 8:01Speaker 1: from tomorrow. Actually you can start today with the early voting.
- 8:04Speaker 1: You can get rid of him. Vote for the Republican
- 8:07Speaker 1: Maud Maren. She just got the endorsement from the New
- 8:10Speaker 1: York Post. The newspaper endorsements don't mean much of anything,
- 8:13Speaker 1: but you want to vote for her. She will put
- 8:16Speaker 1: criminals in jail. Bragg's conviction rate. Conviction rate falls every year.
- 8:22Speaker 1: It's just tumbling lower and lower and lower and lower
- 8:25Speaker 1: conviction rate. And it's deliberate. And the other problem is
- 8:29Speaker 1: they just reduce charges. If it's a felony, they reduce
- 8:32Speaker 1: it to a misdemeanor and then there's no jail. They
- 8:35Speaker 1: don't seek a prison term. So you got to get
- 8:37Speaker 1: rid of Alvin Bragg, vote for maud Maren. Also throw
- 8:41Speaker 1: out every Democrat on the city council. That's your only
- 8:44Speaker 1: protection against the Mom Donnie at city Hall is she'll
- 8:48Speaker 1: have a more conservative city council and they really have
- 8:52Speaker 1: more power than the mayor in many, many things. A
- 8:56Speaker 1: Cuomo had one great video. It was done with AI.
- 9:00Speaker 1: It was a video showing all the criminals endorsing Mom
- 9:02Speaker 1: Donnie and why it was a great video. You have
- 9:05Speaker 1: to see it. It was brilliant. Many political consultants saying
- 9:09Speaker 1: it might be the future of campaign commercials. It's the
- 9:14Speaker 1: greatest campaign commercial of the year. But Mom Donnie started
- 9:19Speaker 1: yelling and screaming, it's racist, it's islamophobic, it's whatever. He yelled,
- 9:24Speaker 1: and Cuomo panicked and removed it. He had it pulled
- 9:27Speaker 1: off the airwaves, which he shouldn't have done. He should
- 9:30Speaker 1: have run it twice as much, but it's an incredible commercial.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Now you got another race going on at the same
- 9:40Speaker 1: time in New Jersey, Mikey Cheryl versus Jack Chitarelli. And
- 9:48Speaker 1: apparently in the internal polling. The polls you see in
- 9:51Speaker 1: public are pretty much just junk. But the internal polling,
- 9:54Speaker 1: the serious polling, which is being done in New Jersey,
- 9:56Speaker 1: not in New York, but in New Jersey, must show
- 10:00Speaker 1: that Mikey Cheryl's in trouble because Obama was not going
- 10:03Speaker 1: to come in and campaign. He just sent a video
- 10:05Speaker 1: endorsing her. But they must have seen real panic in
- 10:09Speaker 1: those numbers. So Obama is coming into campaign. Obama at rallies,
- 10:13Speaker 1: Obama going after Chittarelly.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Come on, when you're standing in front of the sign,
- 10:20Speaker 2: it's stop the Seal. And there's a guy in the
- 10:24Speaker 2: crowd waving a Confederate flag. You know this isn't a
- 10:29Speaker 2: neighborhood barbecue. You know it's not a leaguer a women
- 10:35Speaker 2: voters rally.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Now that's when Obama knows somebody's in trouble. You know,
- 10:39Speaker 1: normally he speaks so beautifully, so highly educated. He sounds
- 10:42Speaker 1: like Demosthenes. When he speaks wellever, he puts on that
- 10:46Speaker 1: you all voice, that dumb southern voice that means there's trouble.
- 10:49Speaker 1: He's got to really really work at it. So rally's
- 10:52Speaker 1: going on in New Jersey. Now, speaking of rallies, this
- 10:55Speaker 1: is the other problem. Uh Cuomo sliwa face. Mom Donnie
- 10:58Speaker 1: had a rally this weekend Forest Hill Stadium. Mam Donnie
- 11:02Speaker 1: had a rally with thirteen thousand people. AOC spoke and
- 11:07Speaker 1: Bernie Sanders spoke thirteen thousand people. Now, you know, Cuomo
- 11:15Speaker 1: couldn't get thirteen hundred people to a rally. Now, Curtis
- 11:18Speaker 1: maybe could. Curtis is a very popular guy, and he's
- 11:21Speaker 1: been doing speeches left and right, day and night. Cuomo
- 11:25Speaker 1: does one every couple of weeks. Maybe I mean a
- 11:28Speaker 1: rally kind of a speech, very very light campaigning from Cuomo.
- 11:32Speaker 1: But he could never get thirteen thousand. The fact that
- 11:34Speaker 1: Mam Donnie got thirteen thousand means, you know, if people
- 11:37Speaker 1: will come to a rally, they'll go vote. So this
- 11:40Speaker 1: high high turnout could be could be a sign that
- 11:45Speaker 1: it's his voters causing that high turnout. Here's Cuomo and Mamdanna.
- 11:49Speaker 3: What he is doing is the oldest, dirtiest political trick
- 11:55Speaker 3: in the book. Divide people, divide people, divide people by race,
- 12:03Speaker 3: by religion. New Yorkers won't let you divide them. You
- 12:07Speaker 3: can try to drive as many wedges as you want.
- 12:10Speaker 4: It's not going to work.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Yeah, this is all true, but it just doesn't work.
- 12:15Speaker 1: It's not powerful as a campaign issue. They all divide.
- 12:17Speaker 1: You could say Trump divides too. It's not a strong
- 12:20Speaker 1: campaign issue. There's Curtis.
- 12:22Speaker 5: You gotta go at these people who embrace terrorism, like
- 12:25Speaker 5: Johan Mandami and everyone else out there who doesn't mind
- 12:28Speaker 5: taking a picture with your mom because it thinks it's
- 12:31Speaker 5: going to get them votes from that community.
- 12:34Speaker 4: Then and it's wrong.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Now, well a little better, but this just gives Mandannie
- 12:38Speaker 1: a chance to respond.
- 12:39Speaker 6: This is disgusting. This is Andrew Cuomo's final moments in
- 12:44Speaker 6: public life, and he's choosing to spend them making racist
- 12:48Speaker 6: attacks on the person who would be the first Muslim
- 12:52Speaker 6: to lead this city.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Yeah. So again, at this point, it doesn't look good.
- 12:57Speaker 1: It looks like mam Donni's on track to win at
- 12:59Speaker 1: this point. But as horrible as it sounds, yet, first
- 13:03Speaker 1: of all, you will get through it just fine. Remember
- 13:06Speaker 1: he can't do ninety eight percent of the stuff he's promising.
- 13:09Speaker 1: He has no power to make the buses free, he
- 13:11Speaker 1: has no power to tax you. He just can't do
- 13:14Speaker 1: most of this stuff. You got through eight years of Deblasio.
- 13:19Speaker 1: You got through Cuomo, who was a real far left governor,
- 13:23Speaker 1: you know, you know, letting criminals out, closing prisons. He
- 13:27Speaker 1: was pretty crazy as governor. But we'll see, we'll see.
- 13:30Speaker 1: It's all about turnout. Get your friends, get your neighbors,
- 13:33Speaker 1: get yourself, get everybody you know out there to vote.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Vote for Curtis or vote for Cuomo. Either one could win.
- 13:39Speaker 1: At this point. Cuomo tends to overpoll. That's another thing
- 13:44Speaker 1: you can remember. Cuomo always overpolls. Could be name recognition
- 13:48Speaker 1: or whatever. But remember the primary he overpolled by like
- 13:51Speaker 1: ten points. It looked like he was an easy win
- 13:54Speaker 1: and he was a huge loss. So and Curtis always
- 13:57Speaker 1: tends to underpole. But it's just the case of turnout,
- 14:01Speaker 1: massive turnout. With Deblasio one, it was twenty one percent turnout.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Only twenty one percent turned out. That's it. That's how
- 14:12Speaker 1: Deblasio won. Only twenty percent turned out. Twenty one percent.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Rudy Giuliani when he ran the first time, about sixty
- 14:20Speaker 1: sixty one percent turnout. So if you get that high turnout,
- 14:25Speaker 1: it can go as high as seventy five It has
- 14:27Speaker 1: in presidential years. So if that happen, and it looks
- 14:29Speaker 1: like we're on track to get that, we'll get fifty
- 14:32Speaker 1: percent turnout, maybe seventy five percent. That can change everything. Hey,
- 14:36Speaker 1: we'll take some calls in a minute. Eight hundred three
- 14:38Speaker 1: to two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight
- 14:41Speaker 1: hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 14:45Speaker 7: Set up reseat on the iHeartRadio app to Douboor to
- 14:49Speaker 7: hear Mark live.
- 14:50Speaker 6: Set another for.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Mark's podcast to hear him anytime.
- 14:54Speaker 6: Now back to Mark Simone on Douboor.
- 15:00Speaker 1: I'm looking at the calls coming in there from all
- 15:01Speaker 1: over the country, and I can tell they're all laughing
- 15:03Speaker 1: at us everywhere. Some of them are people that got
- 15:07Speaker 1: out of New York, some of them are people that
- 15:08Speaker 1: never come to there. They're all laughing at us for
- 15:10Speaker 1: the mess we got ourselves into. Let's go to Stuart
- 15:13Speaker 1: in South Carolina. Stuart, how you doing? Hey?
- 15:16Speaker 8: Mark here?
- 15:17Speaker 9: You you know, in reference to Curtis, you know I
- 15:20Speaker 9: ran for sheriff of my county. I did a radio newspaper,
- 15:25Speaker 9: many interviews, and the people have saw it said I
- 15:28Speaker 9: just blew everybody out of the water. I would be
- 15:30Speaker 9: there for hours and hours answering any question effectively. And
- 15:35Speaker 9: I only got twenty percent of the vote.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Yeah, that was it.
- 15:38Speaker 9: And people said I was by far the best candidates.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Well, it was that they might just be saying that.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I mean, you're pretty good on the radio. What they
- 15:46Speaker 1: might just be saying that.
- 15:49Speaker 9: But you know, and that's that's the problem. Very often
- 15:52Speaker 9: the best candidate does not win.
- 15:54Speaker 10: They don't even know.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you know, that's a very good point. That's
- 15:56Speaker 1: happened many, many times, especially in the primary. That happens
- 16:00Speaker 1: se right, Stuart, thanks for calling. Yeah, you gotta remember
- 16:03Speaker 1: you know, it's like a lot of these people do
- 16:07Speaker 1: like a fake radio show. You know, they pay for
- 16:09Speaker 1: their own radio show, podcast, they write their own book,
- 16:12Speaker 1: they pay for it, and then whenever they run into people,
- 16:15Speaker 1: do you hear it? Do you hear it? Oh it's great, great,
- 16:17Speaker 1: it's great. Great. It doesn't mean it's good. You know,
- 16:19Speaker 1: they're not going to say, yeah it's bad. Oh god,
- 16:22Speaker 1: you sound like an amateur sounds terrible, So people are
- 16:25Speaker 1: always gonna say.
- 16:27Speaker 11: Uh.
- 16:27Speaker 1: I could say to people, hey, did you hear my
- 16:29Speaker 1: show today? Oh yeah, yeah, great, great, they didn't even
- 16:32Speaker 1: hear it. Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike, how
- 16:35Speaker 1: you doing? Good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike, you know.
- 16:38Speaker 8: The New York mayoral race further illustrates how much more
- 16:43Speaker 8: depth the Democrats are at campaigning and winning overall than
- 16:47Speaker 8: the Republicans. They know how to drag that guy across
- 16:50Speaker 8: the finish line. They don't. They put all their other
- 16:54Speaker 8: stuff aside and they say, this is our guy, good,
- 16:57Speaker 8: better and different, and we're gonna get them over over
- 17:00Speaker 8: the you know, the finish line. The Republicans can't do
- 17:03Speaker 8: that well. They don't understand optics, they don't understand how
- 17:06Speaker 8: to put on disaz put on the show.
- 17:09Speaker 1: It's actually more, it's actually more down to earth than that.
- 17:12Speaker 1: The Democratic Party in New York is a massive machine.
- 17:16Speaker 1: The Republican Party in New York is that tiny, little
- 17:19Speaker 1: two man operation. It's nothing and for a ground game,
- 17:22Speaker 1: which is important getting people out of the polls, knocking
- 17:25Speaker 1: on doors, bringing voters in, the Democrats now have about
- 17:28Speaker 1: seventy five thousand people in their ground game. The Republicans
- 17:32Speaker 1: have eight hundred, so.
- 17:34Speaker 9: And it's well.
- 17:35Speaker 8: It also bodes for the midterms this election in New York,
- 17:38Speaker 8: and they're going to learn something here and they're going
- 17:40Speaker 8: to learn how they can transfer it in a year
- 17:42Speaker 8: to the midterms. So it's dangerous.
- 17:44Speaker 1: No, it's very dangerous. But we'll see, we'll see everybody
- 17:48Speaker 1: get out there and vote. Let's go to Dave in Chicago. Dave,
- 17:50Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 17:52Speaker 12: Good morning, Mark. I'm doing very well, thank you, other
- 17:55Speaker 12: than the fact that my allergies are flaring enough. But
- 17:58Speaker 12: I digress. So two reports in Barrett Media about CBS News.
- 18:03Speaker 12: Evidently the new management has their eye on Brett Behar,
- 18:06Speaker 12: but he's still under contract at Fox News. And we
- 18:10Speaker 12: have to keep in mind this is a network that
- 18:12Speaker 12: hired Katy Kurrk a second option. In the second report
- 18:16Speaker 12: said that they're looking at possibly taking back Nora O'Donnell.
- 18:20Speaker 12: But the thing we have to remember, Mark is CBS
- 18:23Speaker 12: News was successfully sued by Donald Trump.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Yeah, well, she is cleaning it up slowly. We'll get
- 18:30Speaker 1: to this in the next hour. Brett bear is under
- 18:33Speaker 1: contract for like the next five years to Fox and
- 18:35Speaker 1: he's not available. But if you read her statement, it
- 18:38Speaker 1: was not we're going to get Brett Behar. It was
- 18:40Speaker 1: more like we'd like a Brett Bear. Somebody like Brettbear,
- 18:43Speaker 1: we'd like to get. So she meant a Brettbear type
- 18:45Speaker 1: of a guy who has a perception is much more neutral,
- 18:49Speaker 1: not so biased, not so partisan, middle of the road
- 18:53Speaker 1: kind of guy, kind of Walter Cronkit of twenty twenty
- 18:56Speaker 1: five kind of a reputation. There have been some changes,
- 18:59Speaker 1: not at CBS already, especially Sunday morning, but we'll get
- 19:03Speaker 1: to that coming up. Let's go to uh Rob in
- 19:06Speaker 1: Long Island. Rob, how you doing?
- 19:09Speaker 13: Yes, good morning, Mark, how are you good?
- 19:12Speaker 14: So?
- 19:12Speaker 7: Yeah, so, yeah, we will get.
- 19:14Speaker 15: Through Mondamie if should he be elected.
- 19:17Speaker 1: You know what I mean. We you're in Long Island.
- 19:19Speaker 1: You've got Bruce Blakeman, best county executive there is.
- 19:23Speaker 13: I know he is great, but you know the couple
- 19:25Speaker 13: of people that you mentioned Cuomo in Deblasio, they left
- 19:29Speaker 13: that fingerprints all over our way of life here, and
- 19:33Speaker 13: you know we've been suffering ever since. So let's hope
- 19:35Speaker 13: that it doesn't get that bad.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Yeah, no, no, I mean it's bad, it's bad, but like,
- 19:39Speaker 1: as I say, Deblasi, you got through eight years of that.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing?
- 19:45Speaker 14: Good morning, Mark, Mark, Come Okay?
- 19:47Speaker 4: Mark.
- 19:48Speaker 14: By Kathy Hochel attending the Three Comedies rally at far
- 19:53Speaker 14: At Hills. I believe next next year she's sealed her faith.
- 19:58Speaker 14: At least Stefan and Guy believe will win it because
- 20:00Speaker 14: of that Mark. Everybody's missing something that I said many
- 20:05Speaker 14: times I said on this show. There are a lot
- 20:08Speaker 14: of Democrats. I like in my family. My brother and
- 20:12Speaker 14: sister are Democrats. They will not vote for Mandami because
- 20:18Speaker 14: they'd rather vote for Cuomo because Mandami is a Muslim first,
- 20:23Speaker 14: a Democrat second, and he doesn't represent their values. And
- 20:29Speaker 14: they're gonna vote for Cuomo because just like a lot
- 20:33Speaker 14: of the Indians and the Arabs are voting for Mandami
- 20:35Speaker 14: because he's a Southern Indian, my brother and sister are
- 20:40Speaker 14: gonna vote for Cuomo because he's an Italian American. It's
- 20:45Speaker 14: that simple. And that rally yesterday gave the Republican campaign
- 20:51Speaker 14: ad plans plenty of cannon fodder for next year's mid
- 20:57Speaker 14: term elections. You see those three main he acts on
- 21:00Speaker 14: the stage raising their arms together and the background side
- 21:05Speaker 14: said free rent. Well I said, in the recent years,
- 21:10Speaker 14: the biggest problem for New York landlords and business owners
- 21:14Speaker 14: is keeping up and paying out because of the regulations
- 21:19Speaker 14: imposed upon us by Bozo's like Hoko and well, Eric
- 21:26Speaker 14: Adams is on his way out, but what Bondami's going
- 21:30Speaker 14: to do.
- 21:31Speaker 16: It's the regulations that are killing landlords. Any profits that
- 21:37Speaker 16: I made this year by raising rents were immediately raced
- 21:40Speaker 16: out by all the things I have to do now
- 21:43Speaker 16: to be compliant with the city local laws.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Well that's a very good point, Vincent, excellent call, Thanks
- 21:49Speaker 1: for calling. You can lower rent simply, you're right by
- 21:51Speaker 1: getting rid of a lot of these regulations. Now, just
- 21:53Speaker 1: remember a mom Donnie a huge, huge rally this weekend,
- 21:57Speaker 1: thirteen thousand people Forest Hill Stadium filled the stadium. But
- 22:01Speaker 1: also just remember Howard Dean. Remember when Howard Dean ran,
- 22:05Speaker 1: he was the guy who was gonna win. He was
- 22:07Speaker 1: having these rallies with fifty one hundred. They was having
- 22:10Speaker 1: these incredible rallies because he was a dynamic speaker. The
- 22:13Speaker 1: rallies were the most lively turnout in his rallies. And
- 22:17Speaker 1: he lost. He lost people just like his rallies, they
- 22:20Speaker 1: want to go do mean, it didn't translate into actual votes,
- 22:22Speaker 1: so that can happen too. But hey, Michael Goodwin is
- 22:26Speaker 1: off this week, but when we come back, we'll talk
- 22:28Speaker 1: to the best legal analyst of all, Greg Jarrett. We'll
- 22:31Speaker 1: get to Letitia James. We'll get to all of that
- 22:33Speaker 1: stuff coming up next on seven to ten WR.
- 22:37Speaker 13: Marximo the Issues you really care about on seven ten WR.
- 22:44Speaker 7: Well.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Greg Jarrett, the best legal analyst in America. You can
- 22:48Speaker 1: watch him on Fox News and of course read all
- 22:51Speaker 1: of his columns foxnews dot com and get his excellent books.
- 22:55Speaker 1: You'll love his books The Constitution and Other Patriots Documents
- 23:00Speaker 1: and Trial of the Century about the most amazing trial ever.
- 23:05Speaker 1: And of course his books about the witch hunt and
- 23:08Speaker 1: the Russia hoax and all of that. And he's with
- 23:11Speaker 1: us now, Greg Jarrett, how you doing.
- 23:14Speaker 7: Hey, Mark, good to be with you.
- 23:15Speaker 1: I'm fine.
- 23:15Speaker 7: Thanks.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Hey, Let's start with Letitia James. If all these documents
- 23:21Speaker 1: are real, I assume they are. This is an open
- 23:23Speaker 1: and shut case, isn't it.
- 23:25Speaker 7: Well you would think so, but of course, you know
- 23:30Speaker 7: in Virginia where she's been indicted, you know, I mean,
- 23:37Speaker 7: that's mostly a liberal eastern district. The jury pool is
- 23:42Speaker 7: going to be inherently biased. So but you're right about
- 23:47Speaker 7: the facts.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Of the case.
- 23:48Speaker 7: When you tell a bank that your home is primary
- 23:51Speaker 7: or secondary and you get a lower mortgage because of it,
- 23:54Speaker 7: but then you rent it, you actually rent it out,
- 23:59Speaker 7: that's I mean, you're lying to the lender who is
- 24:02Speaker 7: deceived about the risk. And the documents would appear to
- 24:06Speaker 7: incriminate James. And you know, she can hardly claim og
- 24:11Speaker 7: it was a miscommunication or sloppy paperwork when I said
- 24:15Speaker 7: it was primary or secondary, because she's on record is
- 24:18Speaker 7: the Attorney General in New York stating that that's never
- 24:22Speaker 7: an excuse under the law. You know, even worse, last year,
- 24:27Speaker 7: she issued a public statement declaring that you know, everyday
- 24:32Speaker 7: Americans cannot lie to a bank to get a mortgage.
- 24:35Speaker 7: Powerful people cannot cheat to get better loans. So her
- 24:40Speaker 7: own words will come back to honoring court, and think
- 24:46Speaker 7: about what she did. I mean, she brazenly promised to
- 24:50Speaker 7: abuse her office to get Trump, and then she went
- 24:54Speaker 7: about doing it. And now she has the audacity to
- 24:58Speaker 7: complain that Trump is reponizing the law against her. This
- 25:04Speaker 7: is a person with no sense of self awareness.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Yeah. Hey, if you are a running for as an
- 25:10Speaker 1: attornational if you're running and you say I'm gonna pick
- 25:13Speaker 1: a guy, I'm gonna target this guy, I'm gonna get
- 25:15Speaker 1: him somehow. Is there anything illegal about that?
- 25:19Speaker 7: Well, in a normal state in New York is not.
- 25:24Speaker 7: You know, it's a desparable offense. It's an egregious breach
- 25:28Speaker 7: of ethics to run on the promise of a preordained
- 25:34Speaker 7: outcome in a case against a singular individual and you
- 25:40Speaker 7: haven't even been elected to the office. You don't have
- 25:42Speaker 7: access to the evidence or the files. I mean, that's
- 25:48Speaker 7: exactly what a prosecutor is not supposed to do.
- 25:55Speaker 10: But you know, the bar in.
- 25:56Speaker 7: New York, which is supposed to enforce ethics standards, is
- 26:02Speaker 7: highly politicized and liberal, and i you know, they've been
- 26:07Speaker 7: cheering on Letitia James in her efforts to go after Trump.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Yeah, they're very anti Trump too, as you saw what
- 26:14Speaker 1: they took Rudy Giuliani's law license, basically just forging the
- 26:17Speaker 1: Trump supporter. But right, okay, John Bolton, John Bolton, that
- 26:23Speaker 1: looks like an open and shutcase.
- 26:26Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean, you know, as indictments go, This one
- 26:32Speaker 7: is rich in details justifying the eighteen charges against him.
- 26:38Speaker 7: It's a powerful case of criminality using email and messaging
- 26:44Speaker 7: apps to send documents classified as highest top secret to
- 26:49Speaker 7: his family members who don't have security clearance. Now you know,
- 26:54Speaker 7: he apparently did it as a diary to help him
- 26:56Speaker 7: write a book. The sheer volume of material, more than
- 27:00Speaker 7: a thousand pages that were seized, is as stunning as
- 27:07Speaker 7: the alleged content. There were material there about missile launches,
- 27:12Speaker 7: future attacks, covert operations, sources and methods, strategic communications, even
- 27:18Speaker 7: weapons of mass destruction. So I mean, it's really hard
- 27:22Speaker 7: to argue that somehow all of that is not highly
- 27:27Speaker 7: protected and privileged material, particularly since his systems were actually
- 27:33Speaker 7: hacked by Iran. That's in the indictment, and that only
- 27:37Speaker 7: supports the case against him because it's precisely what the
- 27:41Speaker 7: ESPIONAGAC was designed to prevent.
- 27:44Speaker 1: So it looks.
- 27:45Speaker 7: Brazen, at the very least, grossly reckless. But under the law,
- 27:52Speaker 7: recklessness is not an excuse because it's criminal, whether it's
- 27:56Speaker 7: wilful or negligent.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Ex I needed to write a book, did you just
- 28:02Speaker 1: write for the most detailed books in the world without
- 28:06Speaker 1: any classified documents. It can be done.
- 28:08Speaker 7: Yeah, no, it can be done. But you know, this
- 28:12Speaker 7: has been a pattern by Bolton. He has always tried
- 28:17Speaker 7: to leverage any position in government he's had for financial
- 28:23Speaker 7: profit by writing books. And you know, in this pardicular case, yeah,
- 28:28Speaker 7: he's presumed innocent. Of course, he's pled not guilty, but
- 28:32Speaker 7: you know, it looks like he tried to boost the
- 28:35Speaker 7: content by telling secrets, including you know, top secret classified information.
- 28:42Speaker 7: The judge warned him about it, the DJ tried to
- 28:46Speaker 7: stop the book, and the judge had to let it
- 28:50Speaker 7: go because the publisher went ahead and released it while
- 28:54Speaker 7: they were litigating it. And the judge warn Bolton, you're
- 28:57Speaker 7: gambling with national security and you are exposing yourself to
- 29:03Speaker 7: criminal charges. And in fact that's what happened.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I would tell you, Greg Jarrety, great legal. And
- 29:09Speaker 1: let's say this whole NBA gambling scandal and looks like
- 29:13Speaker 1: there might be an NFL former player. What do you
- 29:16Speaker 1: think this is a lot of people are going to
- 29:18Speaker 1: go to jail for this, aren't they?
- 29:20Speaker 15: Yeah?
- 29:20Speaker 7: I mean I read the indictment. It is stunning in
- 29:26Speaker 7: how blatant the gambling schemes were. So you're talking about extortion, fraud,
- 29:33Speaker 7: money laundering, a host of other crimes. You know, Mark,
- 29:37Speaker 7: there had long been whispers about corruption in basketball tanking
- 29:43Speaker 7: games rests on the take, but the scope and breath
- 29:49Speaker 7: of the illegal gambling here is truly shocking. More than
- 29:54Speaker 7: thirty arrests across the eleven states, involving four major mafia
- 30:00Speaker 7: crime families, famous athletes, millions of victims. So I would
- 30:06Speaker 7: commend the FBI I for digging into this taking aggressive
- 30:10Speaker 7: action to stop it. You know, Charles Barkley I think
- 30:15Speaker 7: was right. He got into an argument on television, you know,
- 30:19Speaker 7: with another former player, and he said, this is not
- 30:22Speaker 7: about addiction. It's about stupidity and greed and avarice and
- 30:27Speaker 7: conceit and an utter disdain for the law. And Charles's right.
- 30:33Speaker 7: I suspect there are a lot of other sports figures
- 30:35Speaker 7: out there who are quite nervous about an imminent knock
- 30:40Speaker 7: on the door, and I think there will be a
- 30:43Speaker 7: lot of knocks.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Yeah, these players are multi, multi multimillionaires, so obviously they
- 30:49Speaker 1: weren't in it for the money. What do you think
- 30:50Speaker 1: were they being blackmailed or were they some other behavior
- 30:53Speaker 1: there's that the mob knew about?
- 30:56Speaker 7: You know, it's it's hard to say. I mean, these
- 30:59Speaker 7: guys I have so much money and they're treated as
- 31:03Speaker 7: such superstars and privileged and elite that for them, you know,
- 31:08Speaker 7: it's like monopoly money. They're playing a game. You know,
- 31:11Speaker 7: can I get away with it? And I mean it's
- 31:15Speaker 7: completely stupid. Why would you jeopardize you know, millions of
- 31:21Speaker 7: dollars that you have already for you know, what's the
- 31:27Speaker 7: equivalent of Nichols and dimes and ruin your reputation, your integrity,
- 31:31Speaker 7: your good name. I mean, it's foolhardy and so Charles
- 31:35Speaker 7: is right, it's utter stupidity.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Well, Greg Jarrett great stuff. You can follow him on
- 31:43Speaker 1: Twitter of course, and read his columns Foxnews dot com
- 31:46Speaker 1: and you assume all over television, and get his books.
- 31:49Speaker 1: You'll love his books, Get the Constitution, other patriotic documents,
- 31:53Speaker 1: but good Christmas gift, by the way, and all of
- 31:57Speaker 1: his books would be you can get them on Amazon
- 31:59Speaker 1: and Greg Jared, thanks for being with us.
- 32:02Speaker 10: Thanks so much, Mark, good talking. Right, take care, Hey.
- 32:05Speaker 10: Coming up in the next hour, we'll get to ballroom
- 32:08Speaker 10: derangement syndrome and we'll get to we'll get back to
- 32:11Speaker 10: the election and a whole lot more coming up, and.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Don't forget Buck and Clay at noon today. That's a
- 32:17Speaker 1: very good show. You'll learn a lot noon to three,
- 32:19Speaker 1: and then they'll most listen to radio show in America
- 32:22Speaker 1: Sean Hannity at three, Jesse Kelly at six, and we
- 32:25Speaker 1: got the best show now at nine o'clock, Jimmy Fayla
- 32:28Speaker 1: nine to midnight. Right here on seven to ten, wr.
- 32:32Speaker 5: Mister Neworks, Mark Simon.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Wor Well, Hey, coming up in the next hour, we'll
- 32:42Speaker 1: get back to the Mayle Race. We'll get some expert
- 32:44Speaker 1: analysis from one of the top political consultants. We'll get
- 32:48Speaker 1: into the we'll get to the ballroom derangement syndrome, which
- 32:51Speaker 1: is taken over Democrats. We'll get to Hakeem Jeffries and
- 32:56Speaker 1: CBS people are noticing the changes slowly, but surely we'll
- 33:01Speaker 1: get to that coming up. And I don't forget. If
- 33:04Speaker 1: you can't listen to the show live ten to noon,
- 33:07Speaker 1: you can listen to the show by just getting the podcast.
- 33:09Speaker 1: You can hear each day show on a podcast, and
- 33:12Speaker 1: that way you can listen anytime you want, day or night.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Get at any place you get podcasts. We'll be back
- 33:17Speaker 1: right after the news. It's seven ten WR.
- 33:20Speaker 11: It's more Mark the Mark Simon Show on wor.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Hey, some very bad news this Sunday. It's the end
- 33:32Speaker 1: of daylight saving time. You go back to standard time
- 33:37Speaker 1: Sunday actually Saturday night like two in the morning. That
- 33:40Speaker 1: means Sunday it'll be dark out like at five point fifteen,
- 33:43Speaker 1: five point thirty. This is bad, This is bad. We
- 33:47Speaker 1: gotta we gotta get rid of this standard time. Just
- 33:50Speaker 1: switch it to daylight saving time. You know it's already
- 33:52Speaker 1: getting dark, like at six fifteen, it's starting to get
- 33:54Speaker 1: dark five fifteen. That's not gonna be good. That's this Sunday.
- 33:59Speaker 1: So remember Saturday night. You lose an hour again and
- 34:04Speaker 1: hour you fall behind, you lose an hour. You're gonna
- 34:06Speaker 1: lose an hour of sleep Sunday night. Hey. Also, this
- 34:10Speaker 1: Sunday is the marathon, the New York City Marathon is
- 34:12Speaker 1: this Sunday. That's how you know it's really well into
- 34:15Speaker 1: the fall when you see the marathon. That's this Sunday.
- 34:18Speaker 1: So if you're planning to come into New York City,
- 34:21Speaker 1: you just remember traffic nightmare all over the place because
- 34:25Speaker 1: of the marathon. It's for you know, all obviously the morning,
- 34:29Speaker 1: but it goes well into the afternoon, so you might
- 34:32Speaker 1: want to be driving around New York City on Sunday. Also,
- 34:37Speaker 1: if you're not convinced summer is over and we're really, really,
- 34:41Speaker 1: really into the fall. The Wolman Rink opened yesterday. The
- 34:46Speaker 1: Woman's Skating Rink opened yesterday. So you got the woman Rink.
- 34:51Speaker 1: I was at Bryant Park. I walked through their Wednesday.
- 34:53Speaker 1: They were building the rink. They weren't finished yet, but
- 34:55Speaker 1: the woman Rink is open in Central Park. That was
- 35:00Speaker 1: the first construction project where Donald Trump took over from
- 35:06Speaker 1: the government and did his own construction. Remember the Woman's
- 35:09Speaker 1: skating rink. The city had been trying to rebuild it
- 35:13Speaker 1: for ten years, ten years, and they were only halfway through,
- 35:18Speaker 1: and they were up to twenty five million, and Trump
- 35:21Speaker 1: went public and started yelling and screaming at Ed Koch
- 35:24Speaker 1: in the city said, it's a slab of concrete, it's
- 35:26Speaker 1: an ice skating rink. It doesn't take ten years to build,
- 35:31Speaker 1: doesn't cost twenty five million. Well, he really went after
- 35:34Speaker 1: Kotch and they became lifelong enemies. But finally Kotch called
- 35:39Speaker 1: his bluff and Trump said I'll build a rink in
- 35:42Speaker 1: six weeks. I'll pay for it. It'll cost nothing. And Trump,
- 35:47Speaker 1: you know, really got under Katcha's skin. Kotch called his bluff,
- 35:50Speaker 1: and sure enough Trump did it. Turned out, the city
- 35:54Speaker 1: trying to build an ice skating they had no idea
- 35:56Speaker 1: how you build an ice skating rink. So they first
- 35:58Speaker 1: brought in a company from Miami that did air conditioning.
- 36:02Speaker 1: And the reason it took ten years. Everything they did
- 36:05Speaker 1: went wrong and they had to tear it up, start over,
- 36:07Speaker 1: tear it up, start over. They were using the wrong
- 36:10Speaker 1: kind of pipes, the wrong this the wrongness. This is government.
- 36:14Speaker 1: That's how government works. Trump, common sense business guy. Now,
- 36:20Speaker 1: think about how simple this was. Trump loves to go
- 36:23Speaker 1: to Madison Square Garden. He loves to watch basketball hockey.
- 36:27Speaker 1: And he noticed that you could go to Madison Square
- 36:29Speaker 1: Garden and they had a basketball court, and then you
- 36:33Speaker 1: could go two days later and they had a skating rink,
- 36:35Speaker 1: a world class hockey rink. So he called up Madison
- 36:39Speaker 1: Square Garden. It's pretty simple. How do you build a
- 36:42Speaker 1: rink like that? How do you do it so fast?
- 36:44Speaker 1: And they said, there's rink guys that build ice skating rinks.
- 36:47Speaker 1: The best one is in Montreal. We'll give you a number.
- 36:50Speaker 1: He called the guy. He came right down and said,
- 36:52Speaker 1: here's how you got to do it. Here's how you
- 36:54Speaker 1: build the rink. And they got it done. It was
- 36:57Speaker 1: pretty simple. Hey, one reason Trump did this, it wasn't
- 37:01Speaker 1: that he was just outraged about the city screwing up.
- 37:05Speaker 1: It was the main part of the view out of
- 37:07Speaker 1: Trump Tower. If you're in Trump Tower, that side of
- 37:10Speaker 1: the building, his office, his apartment, or any of the
- 37:13Speaker 1: apartments on that side, it looked right into Central Park
- 37:16Speaker 1: and for ten years they're looking at this hideous construction site.
- 37:20Speaker 1: So he wanted the rink finished one because it was
- 37:22Speaker 1: the right thing to do. Also, I just needed it
- 37:25Speaker 1: for his own building, to fix things up. Hey, the
- 37:29Speaker 1: mayoral race, Hakim Jeffries is finally endorsed Zoran mam Donnie.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Now remember Jefferies did not endorse him, didn't want to
- 37:38Speaker 1: endorse him. But same thing happened to him, that happened
- 37:41Speaker 1: to Hokl happened to Schumer. The crazy nutjobs on the
- 37:45Speaker 1: left they controlled the party. Now they threatened Hakim Jeffries,
- 37:49Speaker 1: They threatened to primary him if he doesn't endorse Mom Donni.
- 37:54Speaker 1: This is what's going on with Schumer now. The rumor is,
- 37:56Speaker 1: the word is Schumer will give he will not run
- 38:01Speaker 1: again next year. Schumer most likely will not run next year.
- 38:04Speaker 1: He's having a terrible problem fundraising. In the last period,
- 38:09Speaker 1: AOC raised eleven million, Schumer raised like two hundred and
- 38:12Speaker 1: fifty thousand. So he's in big trouble. And a word
- 38:15Speaker 1: is he will announce at some point next year he's
- 38:17Speaker 1: not running, which will hand it to AOC. She'll be
- 38:20Speaker 1: the Senator. But the crazy left taking control of the party.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Hakeem Jeffrey's terrified of them, so he came out and
- 38:30Speaker 1: endorsed Mom Donnie. They had this big Mom Donnie rally,
- 38:34Speaker 1: thirteen thousand people in a stadium. Now Cuomo could never
- 38:37Speaker 1: do that, but apparently Hokel was there and she was
- 38:40Speaker 1: getting booed and jeered by the crowd. They were screaming
- 38:44Speaker 1: at or to tax the rich. Well, first of all,
- 38:47Speaker 1: the rich pay all the taxes. Now, the top forty
- 38:50Speaker 1: six percent pays like one no excuse me. The top
- 38:53Speaker 1: one percent pays forty six percent of the tax In
- 38:56Speaker 1: New York. The top ten percent pretty much pays it all.
- 39:01Speaker 1: So it was quite a rally. Bernie Sanders, AOC spoke
- 39:05Speaker 1: and now again we don't know what it means. We
- 39:09Speaker 1: can't really figure out exactly what it means. But turnout
- 39:13Speaker 1: has been through the roof. Early voting turnout is about
- 39:19Speaker 1: five hundred percent higher than normal. That's a good sign,
- 39:22Speaker 1: I guess, unless it's all the Mom Donnie. You know,
- 39:26Speaker 1: the problem is, Mom Donnie has tapped into Generation X,
- 39:30Speaker 1: very young voters. Now you could try to explain to
- 39:32Speaker 1: them what's wrong with socialism and what's wrong with letting
- 39:36Speaker 1: the criminals loose, And you could try to explain to
- 39:38Speaker 1: them how bad it was in New York until Giuliani
- 39:41Speaker 1: came and cleaned it up. You could try to explain
- 39:42Speaker 1: all this to them, But they're young. If you're twenty five,
- 39:45Speaker 1: this is before you were born. It's like somebody telling
- 39:48Speaker 1: you about what Calvin Coolidge did. It doesn't mean anything
- 39:51Speaker 1: to you. So they never saw it with their own eyes.
- 39:53Speaker 1: They never saw what these policies do. You could tell
- 39:55Speaker 1: them how bad socialism is, how it's failed, and all
- 40:00Speaker 1: fifteen million experiments, they've never seen it. They've been indoctrinated
- 40:04Speaker 1: for years in these crazy This is The problem with
- 40:07Speaker 1: these colleges. The left wing took them over years ago,
- 40:10Speaker 1: indoctrinating kids into the most crazy socialist loving nonsense, and
- 40:17Speaker 1: they turned out generations and generations of socialists. So it's
- 40:22Speaker 1: not good, not good. Hey, you know who passed away
- 40:25Speaker 1: over the weekend, June Lockhart. June Lockhart was one hundred
- 40:30Speaker 1: years old. You remember, she was the mother and.
- 40:32Speaker 11: Lassie lastiest part of this family, and she's just going
- 40:35Speaker 11: to have to learn to accept it. There's no room
- 40:42Speaker 11: in this house for two stubborn females.
- 40:47Speaker 1: For those of you who under a thousand years old,
- 40:49Speaker 1: Lassie was the show when was it the fifties, late fifties,
- 40:52Speaker 1: early sixties, but was in reruns forever. I saw it
- 40:55Speaker 1: as a kid in reruns. It was about this family
- 40:59Speaker 1: where the smartest one was the dog. You know, there
- 41:02Speaker 1: was father knows best about how the father's the wise
- 41:06Speaker 1: one in the family who guides everybody. But this was
- 41:08Speaker 1: a show about the family was so dumb that dog
- 41:11Speaker 1: had to tell him what to do. The dog was
- 41:12Speaker 1: the boss. The dog was the leader, and this kid,
- 41:16Speaker 1: what was his name, Timmy? It was his dog, and
- 41:19Speaker 1: this Timmy was the biggest kluts that ever lived, he'd
- 41:22Speaker 1: fall down a well, he'd get stuck in a fence,
- 41:24Speaker 1: he'd whatever it was, Lastie would go get help. And
- 41:29Speaker 1: June Lockhart was the mother. She was very prim and proper.
- 41:31Speaker 1: And then of course she was on Lost in Space.
- 41:33Speaker 1: Everybody remembers her him from Lost in Space.
- 41:36Speaker 11: Major That thirty billion dollars is just as much my
- 41:38Speaker 11: money as it is yours. And I don't like to
- 41:40Speaker 11: waste it either, but I'd gladly waste one hundred times
- 41:43Speaker 11: that much to safeguard my family. Now I say we
- 41:46Speaker 11: turned back. Don't you have an opinion? No, I don't,
- 41:51Speaker 11: not until we've checked every component inside out, know exactly
- 41:54Speaker 11: how we stand.
- 41:55Speaker 4: And then and then I'll let the computer make the
- 41:57Speaker 4: final decision.
- 41:58Speaker 11: And well, the computer also to take into consideration a
- 42:01Speaker 11: man's love and concern for his family, or was all
- 42:04Speaker 11: that been put into cold storage for the duration?
- 42:08Speaker 1: June Lockhart she passed away at one hundred. Now, as
- 42:10Speaker 1: you can hear the way she spoke, she was a
- 42:12Speaker 1: very prim and proper and a very formal woman. Now
- 42:17Speaker 1: in real life she was like a wild woman. She
- 42:20Speaker 1: was just the opposite in real life. Yeah, yeah, I'm
- 42:23Speaker 1: supposed to know this, but in real life quite wild.
- 42:26Speaker 1: Here's one article apparently quite the rock and roller. She
- 42:30Speaker 1: loved rock and roll. Her dream was to meet David Bowie.
- 42:33Speaker 1: She was a huge fan. She had a real passion
- 42:37Speaker 1: for rock and roll. You know, some of those TV
- 42:40Speaker 1: moms were quite wild in a real life. I don't
- 42:44Speaker 1: want to mention any names Florence Anderson, but some of
- 42:47Speaker 1: them were a lot different of off camera, and she
- 42:51Speaker 1: was one of them. But good for her. She lived
- 42:53Speaker 1: to be one hundred years old, pretty amazing, and passed
- 42:58Speaker 1: away this weekend at one hundred. Hey, if you watch
- 43:01Speaker 1: those crazy Sunday morning shows ABC, CBS Meet the Press,
- 43:06Speaker 1: they're the most corrupt, biased shows in the world. You
- 43:12Speaker 1: watch that Martha Raddits or that Jonathan carl these are
- 43:15Speaker 1: the most partisan, slanted fake news. It's in that Kristen
- 43:20Speaker 1: Welker Meet the Press. So a Republican comes out, even
- 43:23Speaker 1: a very distinguished, very brilliant Republican like a Scott Bessant,
- 43:28Speaker 1: and they ask him a question, always a rigged, totally slanted,
- 43:34Speaker 1: loaded question, and then as he starts to answer in
- 43:37Speaker 1: a very nice way, they start pounding away at him.
- 43:40Speaker 1: They start slapping him around beating him up, yelling at
- 43:42Speaker 1: him for whatever he says, and then they go to commercial.
- 43:46Speaker 1: Then they come back with the Democrat and they're so
- 43:48Speaker 1: nice to him. They're so polite. There's no follow up questions.
- 43:51Speaker 1: They just nod like bobbleheads when the Democrat talks. It's
- 43:54Speaker 1: like Jekyll and Hyde, but they're so crazy biased. Well,
- 44:00Speaker 1: this Sunday morning on the CBS Morning show it's called
- 44:04Speaker 1: Face the Nation, something happened. It was a little different.
- 44:11Speaker 1: Hakeem Jeffries was the guest, the Democrat. And normally when
- 44:15Speaker 1: Hakim Jeffries is on any of the Sunday shows, it's oh, yes, sir, no, sir, yes, sir,
- 44:18Speaker 1: thank you for your answer. Yes, sir. Hakim Jeffries was
- 44:21Speaker 1: on the CBS show and he was spewing his usual,
- 44:25Speaker 1: you know, fake fake news talking book. But they started
- 44:28Speaker 1: questioning him, they started drilling down on his answers. This
- 44:32Speaker 1: has never happened before on a Sunday show. Well, the
- 44:35Speaker 1: left went crazy online denouncing CBS. How dare you ask
- 44:40Speaker 1: a follow up question of Hakim Jeffries? How dare you
- 44:44Speaker 1: ask him to criticize his answer? How dare you actually
- 44:49Speaker 1: really grill him? They've never seen this on CBS Now.
- 44:54Speaker 1: Some think it might be maybe it was just some weird,
- 44:58Speaker 1: outlier sort of a thing, but some think most think
- 45:02Speaker 1: this is Barry Weiss, the new head of CBS News
- 45:05Speaker 1: who's trying to clean up the bias. It could be
- 45:08Speaker 1: she kind of, you know, arranged this, or it could
- 45:12Speaker 1: be the anchor of Face the Nation worried about getting fired.
- 45:16Speaker 1: It's trying to get with the program to keep her job.
- 45:20Speaker 1: But for the first time ever, jakeem Jeffrey's got a
- 45:23Speaker 1: serious grilling about his crazy answers, and I think he
- 45:29Speaker 1: used the term the election was rigged or Republicans are
- 45:32Speaker 1: rigging the election. So she hit back. She said, you
- 45:35Speaker 1: know when a Republican says the election's rig you guys
- 45:38Speaker 1: go crazy. Why are you using that term? So the
- 45:41Speaker 1: left went crazy online. They couldn't believe that CBS News
- 45:46Speaker 1: would actually question anything. The Democrats said, hey, you know,
- 45:50Speaker 1: our friend Steve Hilton is running for governor of California.
- 45:55Speaker 1: It's actually the primary. The election is next year. But
- 45:58Speaker 1: in the latest poll California Governor's race twenty twenty six,
- 46:03Speaker 1: Steve Hilton leads Katie Porter, not by much, by one point,
- 46:07Speaker 1: but significant because it's such an overly democratic state, possible
- 46:12Speaker 1: for Republican to win. You know, it used to be
- 46:14Speaker 1: the opposite in California. Years ago, you had plenty of
- 46:17Speaker 1: Republican governors, it was balanced the electorate. Reagan was governor,
- 46:21Speaker 1: you had a lot of Schwarzenegger. And then they imported
- 46:25Speaker 1: millions and millions and millions and millions of illegals. It's
- 46:28Speaker 1: changed the whole ratio. Democrats totally dominate. And one of
- 46:33Speaker 1: the problems is, and Gavin Newsom will have this problem.
- 46:38Speaker 1: It's so democratic in California, Republican has absolutely no chance.
- 46:42Speaker 1: So if you win anything in California Senate, whatever you win,
- 46:47Speaker 1: take Kabala Harris, you'd win every time. You just win,
- 46:50Speaker 1: you win, you win, you win. Then you decide you'll
- 46:52Speaker 1: run for president. Well, when you're suddenly in a national race,
- 46:56Speaker 1: it's not ninety eight percent democratic the electorate ballot, and
- 47:01Speaker 1: California Democrat has no shot. They've never never run in
- 47:04Speaker 1: a balanced race before. So remember, Gavin newsoon may have
- 47:08Speaker 1: that problem. He may be popular in California, but as
- 47:11Speaker 1: soon as he tries to run with a mixed electorate,
- 47:13Speaker 1: all of a sudden he's got no shot. And Bill
- 47:16Speaker 1: Maher interesting, he's been warning Democrats, warning them, especially on
- 47:23Speaker 1: his show this week. You know you got a big
- 47:25Speaker 1: threat from Mom Donnie. He's gonna take down the whole party.
- 47:28Speaker 1: You better be careful. He's from Uganda, where they kill homosexuals.
- 47:32Speaker 1: Mars said, that's their policy. If you're homosexual, you get killed.
- 47:36Speaker 1: They kill you for being gay. That's Uganda. And he
- 47:40Speaker 1: Mar said, why doesn't he renounce his citizenship, Why doesn't
- 47:42Speaker 1: he denounce the country. Why does he do something like
- 47:45Speaker 1: that now? Mar also points out the problem in New
- 47:49Speaker 1: York Cuomo was not He wasn't inspirational, wasn't exciting, said
- 47:56Speaker 1: he appeared to be kind and normal, but people just
- 47:58Speaker 1: didn't like him anyway. Coming up, Dick Morris will be
- 48:01Speaker 1: with us in a few moments now. Expert consultant, Campaign
- 48:05Speaker 1: consultant expert Polster. He's one of the one of the
- 48:08Speaker 1: ones that has said all along, Curtis had a shot
- 48:10Speaker 1: to win, Curtis had a good chance. He's supposed to
- 48:12Speaker 1: run around saying Curtis has no chance, Curtis has no chance.
- 48:15Speaker 1: The media has been drilling that into people. Uh, but
- 48:19Speaker 1: we we'll talk to Dick Morris in a few minutes,
- 48:20Speaker 1: but we'll take some calls. Next eight hundred three to
- 48:23Speaker 1: two one zero seven ten is a number. Eight hundred
- 48:27Speaker 1: three two one zero seven ten.
- 48:29Speaker 6: Now more marks alone seventeen.
- 48:32Speaker 1: W A, Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to
- 48:37Speaker 1: uh lou Center Island Lou.
- 48:40Speaker 12: How you doing, hey, Mark love your show?
- 48:44Speaker 1: Your center island Oyster Bay.
- 48:46Speaker 10: That's Center Island, Yes.
- 48:48Speaker 17: Sir, yeah, I'm sure you know. And you also know
- 48:51Speaker 17: who used to live used to be my neighbor.
- 48:53Speaker 1: Sean Hannity used to be your neighbor.
- 48:56Speaker 17: Correct, And what a gentleman. He bought my wife and
- 48:58Speaker 17: I a bottle of line one said alone steak house,
- 49:01Speaker 17: which I'm sure you also know.
- 49:02Speaker 1: Right, let me guess, Let me guess Rothmans.
- 49:05Speaker 17: That's it.
- 49:06Speaker 1: There you go.
- 49:08Speaker 17: Yeah, just uh my wife said, oh, you know that's
- 49:10Speaker 17: Sean Handy. You can say hello. I'm like, he's with
- 49:12Speaker 17: his family. And all I did was raise a glass
- 49:14Speaker 17: and he looked over and he got up and he
- 49:16Speaker 17: walked over and he spent ten minutes talking to us.
- 49:18Speaker 17: And then when we got the check, the waiter said, oh,
- 49:21Speaker 17: by the way, mister Hannity picked up that Bottle. I
- 49:23Speaker 17: always share that story because Sean is such a class act.
- 49:26Speaker 1: Anyway, that's Sean Handy. I can tell you a million
- 49:28Speaker 1: other he does that kind of stuff all the time.
- 49:31Speaker 1: And who else is your neighbor Billy Joel right down
- 49:34Speaker 1: the street.
- 49:35Speaker 16: Elly Joel?
- 49:35Speaker 17: Yes, yes, so I'm just.
- 49:38Speaker 1: Called Center Island is a beautiful island.
- 49:39Speaker 14: Now.
- 49:41Speaker 1: Only problem is if you want to go somewhere like
- 49:43Speaker 1: a supermarket or go to Rothman's, it's like forty minutes
- 49:45Speaker 1: to get out of there and get any place. Yeah,
- 49:47Speaker 1: a twenty minutes. It's like forty minutes, but go ahead.
- 49:51Speaker 17: Well Rothmans is about twenty five thirty. Anyway, I played
- 49:55Speaker 17: I hate I know you, I know you missed both.
- 49:57Speaker 17: You said jen X, you meant jen.
- 50:00Speaker 1: Oh yeah, gen Z, gen Z.
- 50:02Speaker 17: Yeah, I'm fifty six. Gen X is a probably the
- 50:05Speaker 17: last generation with a lot of common sense. I wanted
- 50:10Speaker 17: to point that out.
- 50:11Speaker 1: Thanks for calling. Take care. Let's go to Bob in Newerchelle. Bob,
- 50:16Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 50:17Speaker 15: Oh good?
- 50:17Speaker 4: Mark?
- 50:18Speaker 1: You let me check? Oh not bad? Not bad?
- 50:21Speaker 15: Got a question for you. What's it like being Mark Simone?
- 50:25Speaker 12: I mean, you do a two hours show like how much?
- 50:27Speaker 1: Well? I think the audience is more concerned. I think
- 50:29Speaker 1: what they really want to know, what's it like being
- 50:30Speaker 1: Bob from Newer Shell?
- 50:32Speaker 7: Tell us what it's going to take a week to
- 50:33Speaker 7: tell you.
- 50:34Speaker 1: What is it really like?
- 50:36Speaker 15: You have no idea?
- 50:38Speaker 1: Hey, what goes on there in Newer Shell. That's an
- 50:40Speaker 1: interesting place. You have a Trump Tower right in the
- 50:43Speaker 1: middle of the Newer Shell.
- 50:44Speaker 10: We do, we do.
- 50:45Speaker 8: It's been there for a while.
- 50:46Speaker 7: I've been to the very top of it when I
- 50:47Speaker 7: was a fireman here when they were building it.
- 50:49Speaker 1: Oh, all right, very good. Yeah, No, there's a lot
- 50:51Speaker 1: of Uh. If you look up at Westchester and you
- 50:55Speaker 1: see all these high rises in skyscrapers, that's newer Shell.
- 50:58Speaker 7: There's a whole bunch of that's newer show to completely
- 51:00Speaker 7: different city than it was like ten years ago.
- 51:02Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, Well, thanks for colling. Let's go to
- 51:05Speaker 1: Richard and Bay Shore. Richard, how you doing.
- 51:08Speaker 18: I'm doing well, Mar good morning. I'd like to make
- 51:10Speaker 18: a point and then ask you a question. First of all, yes,
- 51:14Speaker 18: Mondami can through law enforcement make transits virtually free. Just
- 51:20Speaker 18: let him know that he's not going to have anyone
- 51:23Speaker 18: arrested or prosecuted.
- 51:25Speaker 1: But just to point out the art. He has no
- 51:27Speaker 1: power to make the buses free. They're controlled by the
- 51:29Speaker 1: MTA that's controlled by the state.
- 51:31Speaker 18: Letally Yeah yeah, yeah, I just made the facto Cuomo.
- 51:36Speaker 18: Isn't he running really to collect money for his retirement?
- 51:39Speaker 18: How much does a candidate get to keep of his
- 51:41Speaker 18: donations to pretend he's writing a book, he's a secretary.
- 51:45Speaker 1: You get to keep all of it. Basically, you can
- 51:47Speaker 1: spend it on an office, a driver or this, or
- 51:49Speaker 1: at your expenses. But he already made a lot of
- 51:52Speaker 1: money as governor, and he made that five million dollar
- 51:54Speaker 1: book deal. And he's a guy who can go out
- 51:56Speaker 1: and make money. These donors love him. They'll always give
- 51:58Speaker 1: him a job. You know, he's been in between office before,
- 52:02Speaker 1: in between Attorney general and governor. He worked for a
- 52:05Speaker 1: big law firm. Another time he worked for a big
- 52:08Speaker 1: capital fund or something. They'll pay him a couple millionaire.
- 52:12Speaker 1: He can always away.
- 52:13Speaker 18: His brand is poisoned because of his history.
- 52:17Speaker 10: You know.
- 52:18Speaker 18: So he's doing so little to really advance his cause
- 52:21Speaker 18: and makes you one.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Noah, he's looking pretty sad, kind of Willy lohman ish
- 52:25Speaker 1: in this race. But a guy like him, you know,
- 52:28Speaker 1: you can always make money when you get out of office.
- 52:31Speaker 1: Believe it or not, you could leave in disgrace. You
- 52:33Speaker 1: can always make money. These big, big donors fall for
- 52:37Speaker 1: this stuff. They like the guy for a couple of reasons.
- 52:40Speaker 1: One they think he can pick up the phone and
- 52:43Speaker 1: get things done. He knows everybody in Albany. He can
- 52:45Speaker 1: get things to they That's one reason. The other reason
- 52:48Speaker 1: they love having him over to the house at their parties,
- 52:50Speaker 1: at their dinner parties, bring him to lunch. They think
- 52:52Speaker 1: he can bring in business. These big, big money guys,
- 52:56Speaker 1: believe it or not, they get more starstruck than anybody. Anybody,
- 53:00Speaker 1: even Anthony Wiener when he left off, even he could
- 53:02Speaker 1: find jobs. Just you know, he's like a novelty. He's
- 53:06Speaker 1: like a court yester. Let's go to Jim in New Jersey. Jim,
- 53:09Speaker 1: how you doing? OK?
- 53:11Speaker 15: I went to the twice a year autograph convention this
- 53:14Speaker 15: weekend in Precipity, and at least everybody I went up
- 53:19Speaker 15: to is older than the uh Monica Henry. She was terrific.
- 53:25Speaker 15: Who's that I bought? Paul Henry's daughter, you know Paul
- 53:29Speaker 15: Henry from Casablanca. Victor Laslow who goes off at the
- 53:32Speaker 15: end with Ingrid Bergman.
- 53:33Speaker 14: She was there.
- 53:34Speaker 1: She was Okay, we know who Paul Henry is. What
- 53:38Speaker 1: does his daughter have to do with anything?
- 53:41Speaker 15: Well, they're like legacy autographs.
- 53:43Speaker 1: Now mark the legacy autographs.
- 53:45Speaker 11: You know.
- 53:46Speaker 1: This is for example, this is we hire guest bookers.
- 53:50Speaker 1: When you get a really bad one, the worst guest
- 53:52Speaker 1: booker ends up with relatives. I have a Jerry Seinfeld's sister,
- 53:56Speaker 1: we have her. Well, for example, brother supposed to get
- 53:59Speaker 1: the celebrities, not their relatives.
- 54:01Speaker 15: No, oh, but they were boring. Victoria Price, Divinton Price's
- 54:05Speaker 15: daughter was there.
- 54:06Speaker 1: Oh my god, this is the most pathetic thing.
- 54:09Speaker 15: Now this one Mark. She's eighty seven. She looked gorgeous.
- 54:13Speaker 15: Joyce Boulaphant remember her from the match game, et cetera.
- 54:16Speaker 1: She was a very nice thing. Okay, but let me
- 54:17Speaker 1: let me ask you a personal question. Sure if I
- 54:20Speaker 1: signed an autograph, Joyce Bullivan, who the hell would know?
- 54:23Speaker 1: What do you even need to go see this? Who's
- 54:25Speaker 1: gonna know Henry's autograph or not?
- 54:28Speaker 15: She has a book out Mark called My Four Husbands,
- 54:30Speaker 15: My four Hollywood Husbands. Jeyce bout she's eighty seven. She
- 54:34Speaker 15: looked great and Dave Dave Davies was there from the Kinks,
- 54:37Speaker 15: Poor old Dave Davies, the lead guitarist, King raised brother.
- 54:42Speaker 1: Ray Davies brother, not even Ray Davies. It's I have
- 54:45Speaker 1: to stop you. You're a great guy, but this is
- 54:48Speaker 1: too pathetic. This is what these autograph shows have become.
- 54:51Speaker 1: They used to have these B lists C list then
- 54:53Speaker 1: it was D list E list. Now it's the cousins
- 54:56Speaker 1: of the people on the This is really bad. Hey,
- 54:58Speaker 1: when we come back, Dick Morris, the great Polster consultant,
- 55:02Speaker 1: A lot to talk to him about. Next on seven
- 55:04Speaker 1: to ten.
- 55:05Speaker 7: W If you're listening to Mark on the iHeartRadio app,
- 55:09Speaker 7: save time and tap the preset button.
- 55:11Speaker 19: Now.
- 55:12Speaker 7: Now back to the Mark Simone Show on woor.
- 55:18Speaker 11: Well.
- 55:18Speaker 1: Dick Morris, of course, the great political consultant, the bolster,
- 55:22Speaker 1: best selling author simolover television radio. And hey, he's got
- 55:27Speaker 1: a new book out. You should get his new book,
- 55:30Speaker 1: which is it is the first book about Charlie Kirk.
- 55:34Speaker 1: Dick Morris's new book called The Real Charlie Kirk, first
- 55:38Speaker 1: major book since since his death. And he's with us now,
- 55:41Speaker 1: Dick Morris, how you doing good?
- 55:43Speaker 19: I'm fine, I'm great. I want to clarify I'm alive,
- 55:47Speaker 19: see the death referring to his march Yeah.
- 55:50Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, How did you get this book done so fast?
- 55:54Speaker 1: That's pretty good, that's pretty impressive.
- 55:57Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 55:57Speaker 19: Well, I actually working on on it for a while
- 56:02Speaker 19: prior to his death, and I worked clearly closely with
- 56:06Speaker 19: him during the Trump campaign, particularly focusing on the vote
- 56:12Speaker 19: of people under the age of thirty. And Trump has
- 56:17Speaker 19: you know, got forty six percent of the vote of
- 56:20Speaker 19: people under thirty and previously he got only thirty six percent.
- 56:24Speaker 19: So that ten point game was a big deal. And
- 56:29Speaker 19: I learned a lot about Charlie and about his outreach
- 56:32Speaker 19: and how he positioned himself, and it was a big
- 56:38Speaker 19: part of the Trump victory.
- 56:40Speaker 1: Yeah. So here in New York, you know, we see
- 56:42Speaker 1: this crazy young generation. See they're all socialists, they want
- 56:46Speaker 1: mom Johnny. How did you guys find the younger voters
- 56:49Speaker 1: who wanted to go with Republicans and Trump?
- 56:53Speaker 19: Well, yeah, but you know, you can't equate New York
- 56:56Speaker 19: City with the rest of the country. Yeah, the the
- 57:02Speaker 19: younger generation in New York is almost nealistic. It's I
- 57:08Speaker 19: think there was it was a kind of I think
- 57:11Speaker 19: there's a kind of rejection of everything that's going on,
- 57:14Speaker 19: and grace of socialism really is an attention getting device
- 57:19Speaker 19: as a method of people of paying attention to them.
- 57:25Speaker 19: And I just think that's very different than the national
- 57:29Speaker 19: trends throughout the rest of the country. Young people are
- 57:33Speaker 19: becoming more conservative and republican. Education and registration amongst both.
- 57:40Speaker 19: His under thirty has increased dramatically. And I can't really
- 57:46Speaker 19: account for why New York is so different, but it
- 57:49Speaker 19: is so different. It's always been and it is. But
- 57:55Speaker 19: with Kurt, I just loved the way he was able
- 57:59Speaker 19: to explained to people that issues confront them directly, not
- 58:06Speaker 19: do to be little of them, not put them down
- 58:09Speaker 19: and uh and and really hope and make great progress.
- 58:14Speaker 1: Yeah. The idea of opening up a dialogue on the
- 58:17Speaker 1: college campus is students hearing both sides of the issue.
- 58:20Speaker 1: This is what Charlie Kirk did. Isn't this what the
- 58:23Speaker 1: universities were supposed to do. Isn't this what the professor
- 58:25Speaker 1: should have been doing?
- 58:27Speaker 19: Yeah, well they should, but you know, the there was
- 58:31Speaker 19: a Marxist professor, Herbert Marcusey, who said that that the
- 58:37Speaker 19: way to get revolution in the United States would never
- 58:41Speaker 19: be through the working class, but through the students. He
- 58:45Speaker 19: said that you need to take what he called a
- 58:47Speaker 19: long march miles through the institutions in the US and
- 58:53Speaker 19: converted in one at a time and moved them to
- 58:57Speaker 19: the to the left. And he began with the teachers
- 59:02Speaker 19: Union really making that left wing, left wing polkram and
- 59:09Speaker 19: then moved from there to the college campuses and then
- 59:13Speaker 19: ultimately those same kids and moved into editorships and corporate boards.
- 59:19Speaker 4: And stuff like that.
- 59:20Speaker 19: And that's kind of how the left took over the
- 59:24Speaker 19: country instance, and Charlie understood that and was doing his
- 59:29Speaker 19: own long march through the institutions to turn it around.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's one guy up against all these institutions
- 59:37Speaker 1: and who will continue this movement? Who will continue what
- 59:40Speaker 1: Charlie Kirk did?
- 59:42Speaker 4: Well.
- 59:42Speaker 19: I think the Turning Point is doing that forum for us.
- 59:47Speaker 14: Really.
- 59:48Speaker 19: There have been huge numbers of new campuses organized by
- 59:53Speaker 19: Turning Point USA, and I think that you're looking at
- 59:57Speaker 19: a sort of new the rival the scene, and I
- 1:00:02Speaker 19: think that that it's it's going to be very effective
- 1:00:07Speaker 19: really affecting the future. We really have not had a
- 1:00:12Speaker 19: very good viable conservative entity on the political spectrum representing
- 1:00:18Speaker 19: young people, and Kirk really Charley created that and is
- 1:00:24Speaker 19: were is perpetuating that very successfully.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: I think, Well, everybody get Dick Morris's new book, latest book.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: It's called The Real Charlie Kirk, The Real Charlie Kirk
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: by Dick Morris. Dick Morris, you're still there? Ye oh yeah, hey,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: mayor all race. Over the weekend we saw turnout five
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: times normal record setting turnout. What do you think that means?
- 1:00:49Speaker 19: Well, I hope it means that people are coming to
- 1:00:52Speaker 19: their senses. But the normally the early bird would tend
- 1:01:01Speaker 19: to be more liberal, and so we'll see. But I
- 1:01:07Speaker 19: think that that the theory had been that in a
- 1:01:11Speaker 19: low turn of grace, the left would predominate, and I
- 1:01:17Speaker 19: think that that I hope that that's not the case,
- 1:01:20Speaker 19: and I hope that a high turnout going on is
- 1:01:23Speaker 19: people coming to their senses on MANDEMMI.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Now I did Morris expert consultant campaign person polster, You've
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: always said Curtis had a shot, a good shot. You
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: think that's still the case, Well, yeah, I do.
- 1:01:37Speaker 19: I think until we actually see how people vote, I
- 1:01:41Speaker 19: think that that certainly is the case.
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: Look, there's a deep seated.
- 1:01:45Speaker 19: Animosity the New York is feltory to Andrew Crmo and
- 1:01:49Speaker 19: stems from his role during the pandemic. Is the sexual scandals,
- 1:01:54Speaker 19: the resignation as governor. And I think that that people
- 1:01:58Speaker 19: are the kind of an ABC attitude anybody but Cmo,
- 1:02:04Speaker 19: and I think that that.
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: Prevents them from moving to Cuomo.
- 1:02:10Speaker 19: Yeah, Cromo for the last six weeks has not moved
- 1:02:14Speaker 19: up or down in the Poland He's been twenty eight percent,
- 1:02:18Speaker 19: and the same with Manzami, yet Foye three and Sliwa
- 1:02:23Speaker 19: has doubled his vote share since the early September from
- 1:02:26Speaker 19: about ten percent through about twenty. So he's the only
- 1:02:30Speaker 19: moving piece in this race. And I hope that movement continues,
- 1:02:35Speaker 19: and I hope that we really see that when the
- 1:02:38Speaker 19: election day itself is held.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: Yeah. Eight, Now that's second debate. Curtis clearly won on issues,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: on substance, on content. But some people say Mamdani won
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: because he didn't hurt himself, there was no real damage
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: to him and he got in like five deadly shots
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: against Cuomo during the debate. Would you would you agree
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: with that?
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:02:57Speaker 19: But I thought Mandai refused to take positions on a
- 1:03:02Speaker 19: bunch of it it was the ballot propositions and other stuff,
- 1:03:06Speaker 19: and I think that three work clearly won that debate,
- 1:03:11Speaker 19: and we'll see the effect that has. There isn't any
- 1:03:15Speaker 19: really good polling since the debate.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: Yeah, Hey, I did mars. When you get money to
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: the campaign, you suddenly raised ten million or whatever, what
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: is it you do with it? And the old days
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: was TV commercials. But that's not so effective anymore, is it?
- 1:03:29Speaker 8: Well?
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: I think it is.
- 1:03:31Speaker 19: But in his case, I think that there's some dark
- 1:03:36Speaker 19: money going on there. I think that much of the
- 1:03:39Speaker 19: money he's raised has been some Soros and connected groups,
- 1:03:44Speaker 19: and I wouldn't be surprised if that he's being translated
- 1:03:49Speaker 19: directly into payoffs to voters.
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: We'll have to see what happens with that.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: Yeah, so it's a bad question basically.
- 1:04:00Speaker 19: Point your point market is right that money is losing
- 1:04:04Speaker 19: its power in politics, and you see that when you
- 1:04:09Speaker 19: know Harris outspent from markedly and there's no way you
- 1:04:14Speaker 19: can find it in the election results.
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: And I think.
- 1:04:18Speaker 19: That because of the decreasing power of network TV, money
- 1:04:25Speaker 19: is not it's not as powerful as it used to be.
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: Enough politics.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: Yeah, this is a tough question. But the percentage chance
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: that Mamdani wins. What would you say, Oh, God, I
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: mean will win?
- 1:04:42Speaker 19: Well, I think it's more than fifty. Yeah, unfortunately, yeah,
- 1:04:46Speaker 19: whish it weren't, but it is.
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: So we'll see, we'll see.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: Everybody. Get Dick Morris the election. Okay, all right, the
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: Real Charlie Dick Morris, thanks for being with us. Excellent
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: news book. Thanks, take care. Dick Morris's new book is
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: The Real Charlie Kirk, first major book on Charlie Kirk
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: since his death. Hey, don't forget coming up at noon today,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: Buck and Clay. They do a very good show every
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: day at noon noon to three. And then you got
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: Sean Hannity three to six. It's the most listened to
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: radio show in America. And then you got Jesse Kelly's
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: every night at six. And our new show is Jimmy Fayala,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: very very funny, excellent informative show nine to midnight. It's
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: every night, every weeknight, nine to midnight on seven to ten.
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: Wor The Mark Simone Show continues on seven ten wor.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: Well, Hey, the NBA scandal keeps expanding. You got an
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: NFL former player involved. It looks like it's growing a
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: lot of people could be going to jail. This is
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: a big, big mushrooming scandal. How did it get how
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: did they get caught? Well, word is it was Las
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Vegas that found out. Las Vegas turned him in because
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: apparently it was taken business away from Las Vegas and
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: they blew the whistle on the whole thing. Hey, crazy
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Joe Biden made his first public appearance since his cancer treatments.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: He was appearing in Massachusetts. It's the Edward M. Kennedy Award.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: But Biden, you know, Biden always makes these horrible speeches,
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: these hatefilled, divisive speeches, name calling. You remember that famous
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: one in Philadelphia. We yelled and screamed and called everybody names.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: So this one was same thing. He said, we're called
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: these dark days. Were in very dark days. It's time
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: to get back up and fight back. He applauded the
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: late night TV hosts brave moral exemplars who continue to
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: shine light on free speech. That's Biden. It's always hysterical,
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: hyperbolic nonsense in his speeches. Hey, we're out of time.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: I'll be back tomorrow. Here every day ten to noon,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: don't go away. Buck and Clay are next with an
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: excellent show. And remember, if you can't listen to me
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: ten to noon, you can listen anytime you want, day
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: or night. All you gotta do is get the podcast.
