- 0:41Hi, it's Adam here. And on today's episode of The
- 0:45Hypnotist, it's not going to be me being your hypnotist.
- 0:48I have a guest hypnotist. I'm joined joined by Cormac
- 0:53Coleran, who is our guest hypnotist all the way from
- 0:57Ireland today. So welcome to the show.
- 0:58Great. To be here here, Adam.
- 1:02Amazing to have you here. We're both speaking at the Irish
- 1:05Hypnotherapy Conference in Dublin.
- 1:07We'll, we'll touch on that later in terms of what you're talking
- 1:09on, but I'm always fascinated to hear how other hypnotherapists
- 1:15became a hypnotist, got into the world of hypnotherapy.
- 1:19So what was it for you that kind of led you into this very niche
- 1:23industry? So I guess when I look back,
- 1:26I've always had a great curiosity and in into psychology
- 1:35and human behaviour. I didn't follow that route
- 1:40initially. I went through business, uh,
- 1:42when I studied and I actually found myself working in the
- 1:47Pharmaceutical industry, pharmaceutical and medical
- 1:49device. And umm, I worked in quality,
- 1:54quality of processes and production processes.
- 1:56And umm, in a, a term that's big in that industry is continuous
- 2:01improvement. And I suppose I might say that I
- 2:06went from continuous improvement of processes into continuous
- 2:09improvement of people. And I certainly say I prefer
- 2:12working with people now than processes.
- 2:17Umm, I probably around, about kind of 15 years ago, I left a
- 2:22job in, in Pfizer, one of the big pharmaceuticals in Dublin
- 2:25and I started to do coaching. So I did my diploma in coaching
- 2:31and I started working in coaching working, I worked in
- 2:34coaching and training. And initially I was training,
- 2:38umm, uh, like business people and I was running start your own
- 2:43business programs through a recession here and helping
- 2:48people to, to get on their toes. And always like my feedback was
- 2:53wonderful because I focused on the business person and I
- 2:55focused on psychology. And what led me then towards
- 3:02hypnotherapy, It kind of came via when I was doing my
- 3:05coaching, I was learning a little bit about NLP and I, I
- 3:11suppose I was working with clients and you, you would think
- 3:15you've done some great sessions and you have done, you've set
- 3:18your goals, set milestones, identified obstacles, how we're
- 3:22going to get around them. And what I've begun to notice
- 3:25sometimes with clients was there was inertia.
- 3:28And I wondered, like, you know, some of these were, were, were
- 3:33highly motivated people and they still weren't doing the things
- 3:36that they needed to do. And so that led me to asking
- 3:40questions about, OK, what kind of mental blocks are here?
- 3:43That led me then to understanding, becoming curious
- 3:45about the unconscious mind. And so then I started to learn
- 3:49hypnotherapy. And I started to learn
- 3:51hypnotherapy initially to become a better coach and without
- 3:57necessarily setting out to become a full time
- 4:02hypnotherapist. That's the way things went.
- 4:05So I started using hypnotherapy with coaching clients.
- 4:09People started asking me can I help them with this and help
- 4:12them with this. And I kind of caught the bull
- 4:16guy, I suppose. And it happens, it happens.
- 4:21Mine was a similar kind of thing.
- 4:22I was originally as a, as a child, a teenager, I saw a few
- 4:25stage hypnosis things and that kind of drew me in.
- 4:27But it was actually learning a lot about NLP and the early
- 4:32Bandler stuff and then then modelling Milton Erickson.
- 4:36And then you read some of the transcripts of Milton Erickson's
- 4:39kind of hypnosis and it's just for me that looked magical.
- 4:42It was kind of like, wow, how do you, how do you do that kind of
- 4:45stuff? And it, and it does draw you in
- 4:47because I think there's two fundamental things to it.
- 4:50A lot of therapy is slow if you look at counselling, if you look
- 4:54at psychodynamic, but hypnotherapy works very fast.
- 4:58And I think you sound, you know, in the world of coaching and
- 5:01business, you don't have forever to to make a change, you know,
- 5:04things have to be done pretty good.
- 5:07So was it the breakthroughs that you were helping your coaching
- 5:09clients with hypnosis that became a convincer for you to do
- 5:13more hypnosis? Yeah, I guess you could say so.
- 5:16And you know, you mentioned the thing there about speed, the
- 5:22the, the type of transformations that people can experience just
- 5:26from a single session with you have this powerful experience
- 5:29and you know it, it was nearly the, the feedback that was
- 5:33coming back in from clients that was getting me thinking, you
- 5:36know what, there's something big in this.
- 5:39And so, so especially like when you get to understanding, OK,
- 5:47there's, there's something other than the normal conscious
- 5:52thinking that's, that's getting in the way.
- 5:53And what is that? And what's the, so I started
- 5:58becoming really interested and what's the underlying pattern?
- 6:01So we say, obviously we, we all, everyone listening here will
- 6:04have heard the issue is never the issue.
- 6:07And So what is the issue? What's the underlying driver?
- 6:12So when I began to realise and put it together that the
- 6:16subconscious mind, it only does things that it thinks it's doing
- 6:19for us, it wants to do things for us.
- 6:22And so I talk a lot about intention versus strategy.
- 6:29So the intention behind an unwanted habit or thought or
- 6:32behaviour or an emotion, the intention may very well have
- 6:36been positive by the unconscious mind when it's set it up, If I
- 6:39find myself biting my fingernails all the time, it
- 6:42started at some point, most likely in childhood.
- 6:45The intention in that moment of biting the fingernail may have
- 6:48been a positive. So maybe you're squabbling with
- 6:53your brother or sister and, and mum and dad says don't, don't
- 6:56hit your brother and your brother hates you and you don't
- 6:59want to hit back because you're going to get in trouble.
- 7:01So you put your hand in your mouth and you do that with
- 7:03frustration. The intention of the
- 7:05subconscious mind was to protect you from getting disapproval
- 7:09from a parent. The strategy was to bite the
- 7:13fingernails. We can look at it with all sorts
- 7:16of habits, addictions, behaviors, anxieties.
- 7:19The intention might be protection, but the strategy
- 7:21doesn't actually create that. So we look at intention versus
- 7:26strategy. And, and sometimes that,
- 7:30sometimes that that intention is, is re.
- 7:32It's lifesaving. I remember working with a client
- 7:35who had a suspected heart attack helped him to start losing
- 7:40weight and then he gained it again.
- 7:42But the reason and and I did some idiomotor response is to
- 7:44figure out why. Why was he starting to eat all
- 7:47the foods that nearly killed him?
- 7:50And it's because he got into a relationship when he was slim
- 7:53and he's unconscious because those relationships ended very
- 7:57badly. Was trying to protect him
- 7:59because he'd got this belief system that if he was slim, it
- 8:01would be inevitable that he'd be back in a toxic relationship.
- 8:05So the eating that could lead to a heart attack was trying to
- 8:07protect him from emotional damage in a, in a, in a, in a
- 8:12strange way. And and you're absolutely right,
- 8:14it's kind of positive intention, but the strategy isn't the ideal
- 8:18strategy for that particular problem.
- 8:21And, you know, you talk about a heart attack.
- 8:23I, I, I do remember an earlier story of a client who again, a
- 8:27business client who, you know, wanted to do well but kept
- 8:33sabotaging himself. And what we, we discovered that
- 8:39the, the intention was went back to a throwaway statement from
- 8:44his mum when he was small, when he said, I'm going to be a
- 8:47millionaire, I'm going to own loads of businesses.
- 8:49And she said, Oh no, don't do that.
- 8:50People like that get heart attacks and just kind of stuck
- 8:55in. Yeah, it's a powerful post
- 8:57hypnotic suggestion because then sabotaging the business success
- 9:01is preventing a possible heart attack in and and a lot of the
- 9:04time I think the brain is adding 1 + 1 and coming up with three
- 9:08but acting as if it's true. And I think that's that's the
- 9:10cause of a lot of underlying issues.
- 9:12Yeah. Yeah, absolutely.
- 9:15And, and you've been featured a lot in the in the media
- 9:17recently, particularly in, in Ireland, but on TV and the like
- 9:21for your work in in addictions. And imagine that works in a very
- 9:26similar way, that there is a positive intention, but the
- 9:29strategy is whatever the addictive substance is and and
- 9:32that causes the issue. And it's, it's very useful, I
- 9:36feel for a client to hear that, to hear that, umm, the intention
- 9:42of that part of you. So, uh, a lot of work I've been
- 9:47doing has been cocaine addiction.
- 9:49The intention of that part of the, the, the, the user, umm,
- 9:54it's, it's, ultimately it's to change a feeling.
- 9:59And so when they understand that the intention is positive, just
- 10:05the strategy that the unconscious mind is using to
- 10:08change that feeling is a very poor strategy.
- 10:10It's a raw deal. It, it, it's the very same thing
- 10:13like a phobia, though the intention is so that something
- 10:18happened when they were young and the subconscious mind writes
- 10:22a a code into the brain and says whenever something like this
- 10:25happens or these, these conditions are the same again,
- 10:28I'm going to let you know. I'm going to let you know that
- 10:31by giving you tremendous fear, I'm going to wrap up your heart
- 10:35rate. I'm going to shallow your
- 10:36breathing. I'm going to make you tremble.
- 10:37I'm going to give you a message that you cannot ignore.
- 10:41And so when they understand that the subconscious mind should do
- 10:45that if there is a genuine threat and it feels that that's
- 10:48a genuine threat and all we need to do is let it know that this
- 10:52isn't a genuine threat. Thanks for looking after the
- 10:56climb. Thanks for looking after me, but
- 10:59but I don't need it like this anymore.
- 11:02I'm a grown person now. I don't need to be saved from
- 11:07people judging me if I'm standing up to speak.
- 11:12So with regards to the cocaine addiction, it's very useful for
- 11:17someone because there's a lot of shame with it.
- 11:19So there's secrecy with it. There's a lot of damaged
- 11:23relationships, damaged families, damaged lives.
- 11:26It it's useful for them to know that they're not all bad, that
- 11:30the the part of them that's striving to to, to get that
- 11:36cocaine, to use that cocaine, it does have a positive intent.
- 11:41It's just a strategy is all wrong.
- 11:43And I think society doesn't really help because they're
- 11:46we're very quick to label drug users as junkies and kind of
- 11:50losers. And and and somehow that it's a
- 11:53of a character flaw in a lot of cases, but, you know, a lot of
- 11:58people that have gone through horrible traumas started taking
- 12:02some form of substance. And that doesn't have to be
- 12:04drugs. It could be food, you know, it
- 12:06could be alcohol, could be, you know, endless amounts of TV to
- 12:10escape emotional pain. You know, that's actually a
- 12:13really good intention. But when that plays out, leads
- 12:16to, you know, sometimes very unhealthy places.
- 12:20As we know, the subconscious mind is only ever in the now.
- 12:24So it's not thinking, it's just thinking that cigarette right
- 12:27now, that line of cocaine right now, It's not actually
- 12:30considering the long term. Implication.
- 12:34It just wants it's fixed in the moment.
- 12:37It's really interesting because there's a paradox sometimes that
- 12:39actually the positive intention makes sense when you narrow the
- 12:44time frame to the now. But when you zoom out, it
- 12:47normally leads to the exact opposite of the positive
- 12:51intention it's trying to achieve.
- 12:53And the amount of times that I've seen people that, you know,
- 12:56might be food, might be drugs, might be alcohol to make them
- 12:59feel good. And you're like, well, what's 10
- 13:02years of that going to do? How good are you going to feel
- 13:03if you've got type 2 diabetes? How good are you going to feel
- 13:05if you've got lung cancer? And it's kind of like, oh, and
- 13:08then the penny drops and it's kind of like the positive
- 13:11intention is actually an illusion.
- 13:13It's, it's a, it's a bait and switch in a way.
- 13:16The delivery of it is actually taking them to the very thing
- 13:18they don't want. Yeah, absolutely.
- 13:21And and I like to get my clients to do to consider I, I I use the
- 13:28term the real decision that you're here.
- 13:31So if someone comes for help with cocaine or someone comes
- 13:33for help with with smoking. So most people listen, listening
- 13:37here, I'm sure work with smokers.
- 13:40I asked them to consider my client, consider the real
- 13:43choice. And I say, OK, you are here to
- 13:46to quit smoking for sure. But I think you're here for
- 13:48something bigger. And in order to take a bit of
- 13:51pressure off them. I will also say to them that
- 13:54most smokers I work with, they don't desperately want to quit
- 13:58smoking, but they do desperately want to avoid the consequences
- 14:02of a lifetime of smoking so that if smoking wasn't bad for them,
- 14:06maybe they'd continue. And that takes a bit of pressure
- 14:09off the client as well because they kind of know you understand
- 14:11them a bit. And so then we talk about, well,
- 14:14what's the real decision? You are coming here to quit
- 14:17something, but you're not really.
- 14:18You're coming here to choose something, to gain, something to
- 14:21go after something. The real choice you're making
- 14:24here is your quality of life and your future, that for you and
- 14:27your family and loved ones. And that switch, switch of frame
- 14:34can be very useful because now I'm not losing something, I'm
- 14:37not giving up something and going after something that's
- 14:40important. Well, so I feel that when like
- 14:46based on my experience of years working with, with clients with
- 14:50addictions, that when we switch, when we reframe it.
- 14:54So you're not quitting something.
- 14:55I and I always say you are, but you're not just quitting
- 14:59something, you're going after something and you can kind of
- 15:03see it. Like I think you mentioned
- 15:05earlier that, you know, the penny drops and, and, and even
- 15:08we'll see the eyes and we see Q's and the eyes that they're,
- 15:11they're kind of creating, they're looking to the future
- 15:12going, OK, I'm going after something.
- 15:16It's nearly a relief that I don't have to give something up.
- 15:19It's, it's something different that I'm doing here today.
- 15:23And when we then go ahead and attach that to their values and
- 15:26their loved ones as something clicks inside.
- 15:32Yeah, it's the point, point of threshold, isn't it?
- 15:34It's the straw that breaks the camel's back.
- 15:35It's it's one because another thing, it's like people assume
- 15:38that change is, is a long drawn out process, but the actual
- 15:43changing bit happens really, really quick.
- 15:45It's getting people to the point of, of that change and, and, and
- 15:49you're right, you know, reframing it.
- 15:51So it's not like you're going to need all this willpower to, to
- 15:55quit smoking, even though it helps when you're stressed and
- 15:57anxious and all this kind of stuff.
- 15:59It's that it's a choice. It's you know, what kind of
- 16:01future do you want to have, You know what, what, what kind of a,
- 16:05a role model sometimes you want to be for your children and, and
- 16:07things like that. And once you move it to a
- 16:09different terrain, it's a lot easier decision to to make.
- 16:13We bring them to a place where they make like AI would call it
- 16:19a principles decision or principle based decision.
- 16:23A an analogy that works very well for your clients is now
- 16:29consider a vegetarian that stopped eating meat because they
- 16:32watched a documentary one evening.
- 16:34They weren't intending to watch it was on and they watched it
- 16:38and it was about a, a, a slaughterhouse for for pigs.
- 16:42And something happened as they were watching that and they were
- 16:45they were a bit shocked. Now, logically they knew that
- 16:48our animals are slaughtered and slaughterhouses in order to
- 16:51create meat. But once they watched it and got
- 16:54emotionally involved, something clicked inside.
- 16:58And like you said, that only takes a moment that thing to
- 17:00click inside, something clicks inside and they go, oh, I don't
- 17:03want anything to do with that. And they make that principal
- 17:07decision based on their principles.
- 17:08I'm not doing that anymore. That's not for me.
- 17:12And you can be sure that person that makes that decision is not
- 17:15sneaking a burger on a Saturday night after the pub.
- 17:18I said it's not sneaking a a fry on a Saturday morning.
- 17:22They've made a principal decision.
- 17:23They're not craving meat after that.
- 17:25They're happy with it. They're good with it and.
- 17:30It's, it's the, it's the important thing, isn't it?
- 17:31It's, it's the meaning linked to the thing.
- 17:34Because people that have never smoked and never would smoke
- 17:38would look at the cigarette and say, why would I spend money to
- 17:41give myself illnesses and carcinogens and make myself sick
- 17:44in the future and coughing up blood for them?
- 17:46It's all negative connotations, but for a smoker, that's
- 17:50emotional release, that's a reward that they've just got
- 17:53different connotations connected to it.
- 17:56And you're right, meat eaters, you know, burgers, a tasty bit
- 17:59of food. But for someone that's made that
- 18:02principal decision, it's, you know, there's that lots of
- 18:04vegans, we use the phrase meat is murder.
- 18:07And, and if you frame it in that way, it's kind of like, well,
- 18:10nobody wants to be complicit to murder.
- 18:13It's the, it's the connotation and the meaning that you give to
- 18:15it, which I think is really powerful.
- 18:17We're framing it. You've created a, a protocol, a
- 18:21particular process that works with lots of different things.
- 18:24Tell us a bit about your protocol and where it came about
- 18:27from. So the I can protocol with with
- 18:312A's and the I can was just to denote the the stages.
- 18:39So we start with the and induction.
- 18:42And. So it, it brings them through a,
- 18:48a corridor of transformation and there's, we use the cataleptic
- 18:55arm movement and we use amnesium.
- 18:58We use a few different, a few different things to bring
- 19:01someone from the problem state to a solution.
- 19:06And the idea is that we're getting the unconscious mind to
- 19:08get rid of everything to do with that problem.
- 19:11Again, I look for what's the underlying pattern.
- 19:15So something like smoking. So smoking is as you know, it's
- 19:24very, it's, it's quite an unconscious thing.
- 19:26Someone takes out the, the, the packet, they light the
- 19:28cigarette, they do it, they've finished a meal, they do it
- 19:31automatically. They've got 5 minutes to go
- 19:34before they have to go in for a meeting.
- 19:35They do it automatically. They sit in the car, they do it
- 19:38automatically. They pass a certain place on
- 19:41their commute to work. They do it automatically.
- 19:45And what we're looking at is that that pattern.
- 19:51So it's linked to certain things.
- 19:53It's linked to emotions, situations, places, people,
- 19:56thoughts. But a client would be able to
- 20:01tell us most of their triggers, but there's a lot that they're
- 20:03not going to be able to tell us. But what we know is that the
- 20:07unconscious mind knows them because it responds to them
- 20:09every time they light a cigarette.
- 20:11So this is a real trust in the unconscious.
- 20:14I was saying to the unconscious, giving the unconscious job,
- 20:17unconscious mind a job to go inside and to clear out and
- 20:21clean out all of the links, all of the associations, everything
- 20:24to do with that offending behavior, habit or emotion.
- 20:29Umm, and we suggest. A.
- 20:34A form of amnesia around us so that in the times that they used
- 20:39to remember to do it, now they remember to forget to do it.
- 20:44Umm, so it evolved for me over, I suppose, close on, close on 15
- 20:54years of, of, of practice. And as most therapists will
- 20:59understand, you're you're in your own office, you're seeing
- 21:01your own clients, you're working away, doing your own thing.
- 21:05You go and you update your training and skills and go to
- 21:08conferences and different trainings here and there.
- 21:11But by and large, you're by yourself in your clinic, working
- 21:14away. And I suppose what I realized
- 21:18was based on lots of different influences I've had over the
- 21:22years, I found myself settling in in a way of working that I
- 21:28hadn't necessarily set out to create, but I found myself
- 21:32settling in on a way of working that worked well for clients.
- 21:36And that, I mean, I, I've got the hundreds of five star
- 21:40reviews online from the kind of work that I do.
- 21:43Uh, it works very well with clients.
- 21:46And I, I guess I then decided I needed to, to codify it.
- 21:49And I suppose through maybe my past and kind of quality and
- 21:54documentation, umm, I hope I was able to, to codify it
- 22:00essentially and break it into steps so that it is easy to
- 22:06learn and easy to follow. And it's something Adam, that I
- 22:10now use with probably every client that comes to see me.
- 22:17Umm, and it's that idea spoke of, of identifying what's the
- 22:23underlying pattern that's causing this behavior?
- 22:25What's the underlying pattern that's causing these emotions or
- 22:28feelings and going after that and asking the unconscious mind
- 22:32to go in and release that pattern, to release everything,
- 22:35to do that. And we give it different
- 22:38metaphors and we give ways to do that.
- 22:41And we attach it to an arm in the air and the arm begins to
- 22:48lower itself as the work is happening and we coach our
- 22:52client and how that's going to happen.
- 22:56And like I, I mentioned earlier, the the arm in the air itself is
- 23:02a wonderful convincer for your clients.
- 23:07As we know, they're not always sure that what kind of level of
- 23:11trance they were in. But when something like that,
- 23:13when we create a hypnotic phenomena for them to that's
- 23:17unusual for them, it works as a great convincer for them also.
- 23:22Absolutely. So talk us through the letters
- 23:24because I'm imagining it's a it's an acronym.
- 23:26So I'm guessing I is induction. The C is catalepsy.
- 23:31Is it? So C is for the corridor,
- 23:35corridor transformation. And I guess, you know, I, I
- 23:41played around with ID can to, you know, or the deepener, they
- 23:46do put a deepener in there, but I, you know, I can sell a little
- 23:50bit better, I think. So there's the induction and we
- 23:54bunch the induction deeper together.
- 23:56There's a corridor of transformation and this is where
- 23:59they arrived. So most therapists again,
- 24:02listening will understand if they don't use it already, I'm
- 24:05sure they have at some point the staircase deepener.
- 24:08And it's quite a simple one for our clients to follow.
- 24:11And I help them emerge, then I suggest they emerge into a
- 24:14corridor of transformation. We always say it like that.
- 24:18And as you know, the unconscious mind will pick up both the if
- 24:23there's an ambiguity, picks up both meanings and and and you
- 24:27know, we we can play with words about, you know, when you're
- 24:31while you're forming trance, you're transforming, and this is
- 24:34the time where you're transforming is happening.
- 24:36Now. I always get them to imagine
- 24:38that there are screens along the corridor and these screens were
- 24:41going to future pace what they're going to be like.
- 24:43So a smoker, it might be seeing yourself tomorrow totally
- 24:47relaxed, really content. And, and I'll get them to hone
- 24:52in, like really hone in on, on how do you know for sure?
- 24:58What, what, what is it about you there that lets you know that
- 25:01you're really content? And we can, we can have them
- 25:06watch screens of tomorrow, next week, next month, next year.
- 25:11So it's a nice way of building that expectation.
- 25:14We tell them the corridor is going to lead them to a new
- 25:18chapter in their lives, but we we frustrate the response.
- 25:22We don't, we don't let it happen just yet.
- 25:24So we'll use the word, let's say soon, but not yet.
- 25:28And during that time we're, we're, we're future pacing and
- 25:33creating visualization. That's the corridor.
- 25:36The A then we'll stand for the arm.
- 25:39And so we attach the, the arm. I'll take the person's arm and
- 25:43lift it up like that and we'll leave it there and sometimes,
- 25:49you know, sometimes it'll flop back down straight away, but
- 25:52we've got to just get it into that position there.
- 25:55You will see. You will have seen you mentioned
- 25:57Milton Erickson earlier. He uses a lot of that as well.
- 26:01Cataleptic arm. So there's the arm and that's
- 26:04attached to work. It helps isolate the unconscious
- 26:07mind to do some work specifically for them where we
- 26:09can take the pressure off the client and say there's nothing
- 26:12you need to do now. You sit back, relax and trust
- 26:15your unconscious. And this is what's going to
- 26:18happen now. WH when when that is done, I, I,
- 26:22the next a is for amnesia. So we're suggesting that they
- 26:27can forget that old pattern. And you know, I, I typically in
- 26:33the pre talk, I'll, I'll suggest to them what forgetting means.
- 26:37And they'll say, you know, when you've forgotten something, but
- 26:38it's so forgotten that you've even forgotten you've forgotten.
- 26:41Someone tells you they're like, Oh my God, how did I forget
- 26:44that? So showing them that we can do
- 26:47this, that it's something that we do all the time, that
- 26:50forgetting is a normal part of the human experience.
- 26:54And so we pace amnesia, we pace forgetting and umm, and suggest
- 27:03that to them. So they forget.
- 27:05And the end then is for the new chapter in their lives.
- 27:10So they'll come to the end of the corridor and we'll get them
- 27:13to proudly March out into this new chapter in their lives.
- 27:17And there we can create all sorts of trances of infinite
- 27:20possibilities for them. And we're future pacing again
- 27:25and we're congratulating and we're building and we're, we're
- 27:29getting them to step into that new self and identify with it.
- 27:34And it's very powerful. Umm, the very powerful process
- 27:38that we can use for addictions, we can use for phobias, we can
- 27:44use for emotional eating, stepping out of that pattern.
- 27:49We can use for anxieties, we can use for someone comes to you for
- 27:57public speaking fears. Again, it's stepping out of that
- 28:00essentially, and the mind likes the idea that the symbolism of
- 28:04the corridor is kind of going from 1 space through a change
- 28:08and emerging out into another. Yeah, I like that.
- 28:12Yeah, it's, it's a transition from the old them to the new
- 28:15them, a new future paced the change, the process of change
- 28:20and then that new future where the change is, is then made.
- 28:25I think, I think it's a great, a great way of kind of pacing and
- 28:28leading their, their experience. And I'll tell you what's
- 28:31interesting about the element of the identity.
- 28:35I've worked with a lot of people that have struggled with the,
- 28:38the 12 step program that the kind of the what many people
- 28:43would regard as kind of like the, the standard when it comes
- 28:46to kind of addiction. But I've I've always thought it
- 28:49would, it's disempowering from my perspective, looking up from
- 28:52the outside in to keep the identity of being an addict or
- 28:56an alcoholic even after the change has taken place.
- 28:59And quite often these a a meetings will start with my name
- 29:03is blah, blah, blah. I'm an alcoholic and I've been
- 29:05an alcoholic, You know, it's been however many years since my
- 29:07last drink and it's kind of like, but that's associating
- 29:10into an identity of someone that's still addicted.
- 29:14Not the identity is not putting in the past tense and said, you
- 29:17know, I was an alcoholic and I'm I'm free now.
- 29:20What's your thoughts on the, on the 12 step program and, and,
- 29:23and you know, the good things, but perhaps the limitations of,
- 29:26of helping work with with addictions?
- 29:29So I I would certainly agree with you there on the identity
- 29:31piece and the disempowerment piece.
- 29:35I'm very much a believer of empowering our clients.
- 29:39I'm very much a believer of being able to step out of the
- 29:42old, the old suit of armour, the old skin and stepping into a new
- 29:47one, leaving that identity behind and moving on into a new
- 29:51identity. Not only that, I think lots of
- 29:55our potential clients out there feel the same way.
- 29:59They don't resonate with this idea of I have to surrender
- 30:03everything to this program. They don't necessarily like that
- 30:07they have to go and speak in front of other people.
- 30:11Some will get into it, and I do think the element of support can
- 30:14be very useful. I work with a lot of people that
- 30:18say I don't want to be going there.
- 30:20I don't want to be saying things about myself in front of other
- 30:22people. I don't want to go on to go to a
- 30:25Netweek rehab because I don't feel bad enough or I don't feel
- 30:29a need to or I've got too much things going on in my life.
- 30:32I can't do that. I think there are serious
- 30:37limitations in those approaches. I think that I kind of feel
- 30:45they're a bit antiquated as well in terms of like what we now
- 30:47know and what we can now achieve.
- 30:51We we can work with clients for a few hours and help them create
- 30:55a whole new identity and step away from those old problems as
- 30:59long as long as there's that will.
- 31:01I was working with the young man there.
- 31:03Actually I saw him again today and I've worked with him.
- 31:07I saw him a few weeks ago for a previous session around cocaine
- 31:11and he was taking a lot of cocaine all the time and I saw
- 31:16him maybe two or three weeks ago.
- 31:18He hasn't had any since I saw him initially, but he was
- 31:21telling me that when he this guy did a, an 8 week programme in a
- 31:28in a rehab centre, the day after he came out he was taking
- 31:31cocaine again. Umm.
- 31:34He then went and joined, went to the meetings and he said they'll
- 31:38be talking about it so much in the meeting that when he was
- 31:40leaving the meeting he was on his phone ringing a dealer to
- 31:42get some. Stuff.
- 31:43And I think this happens. I, I'm not, I'm not knocking the
- 31:46work that they do there and far be it for me to do that.
- 31:50Umm, I'm just saying that in my experience, uh, the clients that
- 31:55I've listened to have told me that those approaches don't suit
- 32:01them. And I think when we can work on
- 32:07empowerment and we can work on, you know, I speak to people as
- 32:11well about problem focus versus solution focus.
- 32:15I like to say, tell someone, OK, we look at where you are now,
- 32:18where you want to be and what's the quickest way of getting you
- 32:21there. We certainly acknowledge the
- 32:23past. We acknowledge that there's
- 32:25roots to the problem, but I don't feel in all of these cases
- 32:30we need to go back and dig up those routes.
- 32:33We have an unconscious mind that knows what they are because it
- 32:36responds to them, and we can get that unconscious mind on board.
- 32:40It can say, OK, this is the routes I can go and I can clear
- 32:43out those routes. I can let all of that go and I
- 32:46can move forward. I, I, I agree with you there.
- 32:51I think a lot of the time, but particularly the psychodynamic
- 32:54and psychoanalytical, you know, kind of modalities have this
- 33:00premise that you need to kind of dwell in your misery and, and
- 33:03live in the past. And I think again, that that can
- 33:06re traumatize or reassociate people.
- 33:10And a lot of these things are based on, well, you've got this
- 33:14problem, you've got this label, you've got to live with this
- 33:16label forever. Rather than, I think it's an
- 33:20excellent analogy there. It's kind of like, but that's
- 33:22the old you, you know, the moment, to use your analogy, you
- 33:26leave the corridor, that's the past, you know, it happened, but
- 33:29you're someone else at that particular point, which I think
- 33:31is, is way more empowering. We're we're both talking in, in
- 33:35Dublin and April at the Irish Hypnotherapy Conference.
- 33:39Your topic I'm guessing is your your protocol.
- 33:42Yes, it's going to be more specifically around how we're
- 33:45going to apply that to dealing with addictions.
- 33:48Umm, I will also be showing people how you can apply it to
- 33:52deal with pretty much anything. Umm, I won't go so far to say
- 33:56100%, but I'd certainly say 99% of clients that I see that go
- 34:00through this protocol. Sometimes I don't need to.
- 34:03Sometimes, for example, maybe with a PTSD client, if I can, if
- 34:09they're aware of the issue, I might just do a rewind technique
- 34:12and that's enough for them. But uh, but this can still even
- 34:16be used for that. So I will be talking about how
- 34:19we use it in addiction. Umm, I will be talking about how
- 34:23I use it with cocaine addicts and I will be sharing how you
- 34:27can use it for. Pretty much any any unwanted
- 34:32thoughts, emotions or behaviors. This transformation protocol.
- 34:37The Icon transformation protocol.
- 34:40Is very useful. It's, I mean, what I'd say to
- 34:44people is it's a great tool, tool to have in your toolbox as
- 34:47a therapist. Absolutely, I'll, I'll certainly
- 34:49be checking it out. I like 'cause my tools, my
- 34:51toolbox as I as I can have. If you're about to do a
- 34:56demonstration, a hypnosis experience for us based on this
- 34:59idea of either a habit or an addiction that you might want to
- 35:02change. But if people are curious to
- 35:04learn more about you, Cormac, and, and they want to kind of
- 35:07check out your website, check out your business, your, your
- 35:10socials or, or anything else, where's the best place they,
- 35:13they can find you? So you can get me Dublin
- 35:16hypnosisclinic.com, you'll be able to find me there.
- 35:21I have Adam in progress and it will be ready before April
- 35:27results. focusedhypnosis.com. I have that in progress.
- 35:33It's not fully up and running yet and I will have some umm
- 35:37training resources there available in the new year.
- 35:41Umm, Also on Facebook you can get me my name, Cormac Colleran.
- 35:46Perfect. So check out Cormac there.
- 35:48And if you're interested in seeing Cormac at the Irish
- 35:52Hypnotherapy Conference, the website for that is Irish
- 35:55Hypnotherapy Conference dot IE. And if you get tickets nice and
- 35:59early, you get a better price. So if you want to see Cormac,
- 36:02I'll be there as well. Check us out in Dublin.
- 36:05But Cormac, you're about to do a session for us.
- 36:09So I'm going to put myself on mute.
- 36:10I'm going to think of something I want to change in my life.
- 36:13So I'll be going along with this process over to you.
- 36:17So great. So what I would like you to do
- 36:20is think of something that you would like to change.
- 36:23Umm, before we start, I am going to, at some point in the
- 36:30session, in order to get the arm movement, I'm going to ask you
- 36:34to raise your right arm. And I'd like you to raise it
- 36:37just like that the way I'm doing it.
- 36:39So when you hear that prompt, just raise your right arm and
- 36:42then I'll explain to you everything that we need to do
- 36:44exactly like that. Adam, thank you.
- 36:47So consider now you can consider anything, whether it's an
- 36:53addiction you want to get rid of, whether it's anxious
- 36:57thoughts you want to get rid of, whether it's a phobia.
- 37:01I am going to do this. Typically I would do it
- 37:04specifically towards a certain thing, but for the purposes of
- 37:08this podcast, I'm going to do it.
- 37:11I'm going to do it as open as I can so that everyone that's
- 37:13listening can get some benefit from this.
- 37:16Now, I'm not going to bring you through a, a, a long induction.
- 37:24I suspect the fact that you're listening to this, you've
- 37:27probably already gone into hypnosis.
- 37:30You have a good idea of how to go into hypnosis.
- 37:32So for the purposes of this, I'm going to do a shorter induction
- 37:36so that you can actually really get the benefit of the actual
- 37:39protocol. OK, so as you close your eyes
- 37:46and settle into your chair, just take a nice big deep breath in,
- 37:51filling up those lungs completely.
- 37:53Hold that breath for a few moments and notice as you exhale
- 37:59how the shoulders can relax and you can give yourself permission
- 38:05to relax. Now and begin to let go, because
- 38:09maybe you already know how to go into hypnosis.
- 38:14You know that you can sit back, relax and go into hypnosis
- 38:21easily and effortlessly. And you may already recognise
- 38:25what it feels like inside to sit back, relax and let go into
- 38:34hypnosis easily and effortlessly as you become aware of the
- 38:40rhythm of your breathing and the raising tempo of your breathing,
- 38:46Perhaps even the sound of your breathing as you listen inside.
- 38:50Because when you focus on your breathing like this now, it can
- 38:55allow you to turn your attention inside more deeply now so that
- 39:00you can start to really become aware of those signals and
- 39:04sensations already occurring throughout your body that just
- 39:08lets you know you are relaxing now, deeply and deeply relaxing.
- 39:14That's right. Now.
- 39:18If you draw your attention to the very top of your head, you
- 39:21may become aware of that relaxation moving through the
- 39:24scalp and as it flows down over the forward and the eyes really
- 39:30begin to feel that calming relaxation.
- 39:33Knowing the muscles around the eyes are some of the easiest
- 39:36muscles in the whole body to relax the jaw muscles now allow
- 39:43them to just release all tension.
- 39:46That's right. And as it flows down into the
- 39:49neck and shoulders, it flows out into the arms, the hands and the
- 39:52fingers. And if you draw your attention
- 39:54right out to the tips of those fingers, now I'm not sure, but
- 39:58you might just become aware of a sensation out there that allows
- 40:04you to relax even deeper. And maybe you've noticed the
- 40:07relaxation travelling down your back.
- 40:10Or. Maybe you start to become aware
- 40:13of it now, as those good feelings all continue now deep
- 40:18into the chest, stomach, on into the hips and the legs, upper
- 40:24legs, lower legs, feet and toes all relaxing down calmly and
- 40:31deeply, deeply and calmly, all the way down, all the way down.
- 40:37That's right, because you know now that you can enjoy this
- 40:43process of letting go. There are many ways in which you
- 40:47can go into hypnosis now, and I just want you to know that
- 40:51whatever way that you go into hypnosis now will be perfectly
- 40:56fine. You might be aware that it's
- 40:58happening, or just as easily you can go into hypnosis now without
- 41:04even noticing it happening. It's a bit like that point when
- 41:07you just drift off to sleep at night and let go and drift away.
- 41:11And we can really deepen this experience now.
- 41:14And I'd like you to imagine that you're standing at the top of a
- 41:17staircase and you're looking down.
- 41:20And some people can visualize this very easily, and other
- 41:23people just get a sense for it. I'm going to count from 10 back
- 41:27to zero. With each number that I count,
- 41:30I'd like you to imagine that you're taking a step down that
- 41:33staircase. And with each step that you
- 41:36take, you feel yourself relaxing more and more deeply. 10 to 100
- 41:41times deeper with every step now from 1098, drifting deeper and
- 41:49deeper, 76 and five. That's right, All the way down
- 41:56now, all the way down, 432 deep one and 0.
- 42:09You could imagine just dropping through the center of that zero
- 42:14all the way down or at the bottom of that staircase, you
- 42:18find yourself in a corridor of transformation.
- 42:24Corridor of transformation is where your transformation
- 42:29happens. And as you were forming trans,
- 42:34you were transforming on an even deeper level.
- 42:37There's nothing you have to try to do now.
- 42:39You don't even have to try to listen to my voice now, because
- 42:44you're unconscious already, is hearing all of these words and
- 42:48it's processing them for you, which means you can drift away
- 42:52and my voice will go with you as you do and become aware along
- 42:56that corridor of screens, like big screens, like TV screens.
- 43:02They might be on one side of the corridor, they might be on both.
- 43:06I think I want you to see yourself on one of those screens
- 43:11over the coming days, having left that old habit or behaviour
- 43:19behind. That habit or behaviour or thing
- 43:24that you want to change. Having left it behind, see you
- 43:27as you are now, content and happy and relaxed.
- 43:33Now this corridor is going to lead you to a new chapter in
- 43:35your life where you're free of that old problem completely, and
- 43:40it will lead you there, not yet, but very soon.
- 43:45Now I want you to notice specifically what it is about
- 43:47that you there that lets you know for sure that you've left
- 43:52that old problem behind. Maybe it's something that you're
- 43:56doing or not doing. Maybe it's a?
- 44:00Look in your eyes and expression in your face something that
- 44:02you're saying or that you're not saying.
- 44:05Notice what it is specifically that lets you know for sure that
- 44:08that you there is living in this new chapter free of that all
- 44:13doubt. And as you continue along this
- 44:20corridor forming trance, right now you are transforming that
- 44:27deeper level inside. That's the deep level of your
- 44:30unconscious learning now also, and you know this, somewhere
- 44:36inside become aware of another screen and another screen, and
- 44:42these screens are showing you yourself as time goes by.
- 44:46Free of that old habit, I'm completely free of it.
- 44:51I haven't left it all in the past.
- 44:57Notice what it is about that you there, how you're living your
- 45:00life, how you are, how you are being.
- 45:03It pleases you and in order to make this transformation and
- 45:09this transition a really easy and enjoyable one for you,
- 45:15there's an important job I would like your unconscious now to do.
- 45:20I would like your unconscious to go inside and to break all links
- 45:26and associations to that habit or behaviour to visit all of the
- 45:31events. All of the.
- 45:33Experiences, the thoughts, the memories, the ones that you
- 45:36remember, the ones that you don't, the ones that are
- 45:37conscious, the ones that are unconscious, everything to do of
- 45:41that unwanted habit pattern of behaviour and to begin to clear
- 45:46them out, to break all those links and associations and to
- 45:49let them go. Now is the point at which I'd
- 45:53like you to raise that right arm and the way we mentioned
- 45:55earlier. Raising that right arm and the
- 45:59way we mentioned earlier. And Adam, you can raise that arm
- 46:04also. Now hearing my voice, Adam and
- 46:08you can raise that right arm. And anybody that's listening,
- 46:16raising that right arm into that position that we spoke about and
- 46:20now going deeper inside. Some people imagine it like
- 46:27going into a a tunnel or a cave with a big power washer.
- 46:32Washing out, clearing out and cleaning out everything to do
- 46:35with that old problem with that right arm in the air.
- 46:42Washing out, clearing out, everything to do with that
- 46:44problem. That's right.
- 46:47And I would like the unconscious now and the unconscious only to
- 46:50lower that arm for you only at the rate and speed that it fully
- 46:56deletes everything to do with that unwanted.
- 46:59Problem. All of the events, all of the
- 47:02stories, all of the experiences, everything attached to that
- 47:08unwanted problem or behavior or emotion, a pattern of behavior
- 47:16to let it all go. And I don't want you to help
- 47:20that. Arm.
- 47:21Nor do I want you to hinder that arm.
- 47:23It will now begin to lower itself all by itself as this is
- 47:28happening. Now.
- 47:29And there is nothing that you need to do right now.
- 47:32You can simply sit back, relax and trust your unconscious now
- 47:40as it does this for you. And that arm will take on a life
- 47:44of its own out there and will lower itself all by itself.
- 47:49And you can be. Aware of that.
- 47:50Happening if you wish. Or you can continue to just
- 47:54drift away deeper and deeper and deeper because there is nothing
- 47:59you need to do. It's like when you pull the plug
- 48:02on the baths, the water just drains out of the bath all by
- 48:06itself, effortlessly. There's nothing the bath needs
- 48:08to do. There's nothing you need to do
- 48:11right now. That happens.
- 48:15That arm lowers itself all by itself because you are now
- 48:19breaking all of those links and associations to that unwanted
- 48:24pattern on a deeper level. That's right.
- 48:28Feel that happening. Now you're breaking all those
- 48:31links and associations on a deeper level.
- 48:34That's the deep. Level of your unconscious
- 48:36learning now, and you know this, you know this somewhere inside.
- 48:41That's right, Breaking all of those links and associations and
- 48:45letting go of the unwanted pattern for good, so that it
- 48:49disappears, so that it's gone. And I'd like your unconscious
- 48:54now to go a step further and to throw a whole blanket of amnesia
- 48:58over everything to do with that old pattern, so that you
- 49:02remember to forget all about it, to simply forget about it.
- 49:11You know how easy it is to forget something you've
- 49:14forgotten more than you know, right?
- 49:17Forgetting is a normal part of the human experience.
- 49:20You could forget a name that someone just told you or a
- 49:22number you once knew. There could be details about
- 49:26something that were there in the past, and they're gone now.
- 49:29Have you ever in your house, gone to your bedroom to get
- 49:32something and you know exactly what you're going there for?
- 49:34But soon as you go through that door, it's like it's gone.
- 49:36It's vanished. It's disappeared clean out of
- 49:38your mind. There was something on the tip
- 49:41of your tongue in a conversation you're about to sit.
- 49:43Next thing, it's gone, vanished. So you're unconscious now.
- 49:47Can remember to forget? Forget that old pattern, that
- 49:50unwanted behavior, Forget how to do it, when to do it, where to
- 49:53do it. Forget it all.
- 49:56So you're remembering now to forget what you're forgetting to
- 49:58remember and let it go and let it go, and it just becomes a
- 50:03thing of the past. Forgotten about it.
- 50:05In fact, what you're going to notice is the harder you're
- 50:07trying to try to recall what it used to be like, the easier it
- 50:11is to forget all about it and let it go.
- 50:13The harder you try to recall what it used to be like, the
- 50:16easier it is to forget all about it and just happily let it go.
- 50:23And that, that corridor, now it's coming to an end.
- 50:30And I want you to notice that just up there ahead of you, you
- 50:33can see double doors opening for you.
- 50:36Written above those doors is the word freedom.
- 50:39Before walking through, I want you to contemplate that word
- 50:42freedom. Maybe you can already begin to
- 50:46feel it inside now. I don't know how you might
- 50:50recognise that feeling of freedom in your body right now.
- 50:54I don't even know where in your body you can feel that freedom
- 50:57growing. All I know is that from this
- 51:00point forward it does. And you do feel that freedom
- 51:03growing stronger and stronger. And along with that sense of
- 51:07freedom, of the sense of acceptance of the decision that
- 51:10you've made here today, acceptance of this new identity,
- 51:16of this new way of being. Now again, I don't know where
- 51:21you can feel that acceptance inside or how you might
- 51:24recognise acceptance growing inside of you.
- 51:28But I can tell you over the coming days, weeks, months and
- 51:31beyond, that sense of freedom and acceptance grows with you
- 51:35naturally and effortlessly. You don't even have to try to
- 51:38think about it. So imagine now that you are
- 51:42walking proudly, confidently, purpose in your stride.
- 51:46You're marching through those doors, out of that corridor, out
- 51:50into this new chapter in your life.
- 51:52See this new chapter in your life.
- 51:55Notice how you're becoming the person that you wish to be
- 51:58becoming. Begin to notice the benefits
- 52:01already coming into your life from being this person.
- 52:05Notice the sense of achievement, the sense of pride, confidence.
- 52:09You'll notice in this new chapter, you go through your
- 52:12days, every day, more and more proud of yourself, more and more
- 52:15confident in yourself, calmer inside, more relaxed than you've
- 52:19ever been before. Stepping up, stepping in.
- 52:23This new chapter has begun. Now you get to.
- 52:27Really enjoy it now, in a few moments I'm going to count from
- 52:29one up to five, and you know what that means?
- 52:31When I get to 5, your eyes are up and the open would have
- 52:34smiled. The open with energy, open with
- 52:36good feelings. You are now in this new chapter
- 52:39in your life. That old chapter is in the past.
- 52:44That old you is gone. You've come through this
- 52:46corridor of transformation. You have transformed.
- 52:49You're in a new place in your life right now.
- 52:53You're in a new chapter. Congratulations feel good.
- 52:56Inside. Feel strong, feel positive as I
- 53:00count you from 1:00 and 2:00 leaving that place, that in
- 53:03inner world behind. Three, feeling more energy, good
- 53:06feelings, sense of achievement and accomplishment flowing
- 53:09through your body and mind. Four nights energy and Five Eyes
- 53:13open all the way and feeling wonderful all over and welcome
- 53:24back. That was, that was a good, I was
- 53:27definitely deep there. That was, that was a great
- 53:29little session there. What, what are the things that
- 53:34you're calibrating as you're going through that?
- 53:36What are you, are you looking for kind of like posture or the
- 53:41speed that the hand goes down? What?
- 53:42What are you paying attention to?
- 53:44Yeah. So I suppose, you know, I
- 53:49mentioned there with someone last week, I think it was
- 53:53Malcolm Gladwell wrote the book about the 10,000 hours and umm,
- 53:59and it's kind of intuitive now when I'm looking at someone umm
- 54:03to, to have an idea of like where they are, how receptive
- 54:07they are. Umm, and that might be 1 worth
- 54:10codifying. But any, any other
- 54:13hypnotherapist that spent 10s of thousands of hours in one chair
- 54:17looking at someone in another chair, they, they get it
- 54:19intuitively. So I'm looking to see that
- 54:23they're, they're coming along with me with checking the little
- 54:25expression. Sometimes you get to get a
- 54:27little smile of kind of approval along the way With regards to
- 54:33the arm. The only thing that I, the only
- 54:38kind of intervention I do is if it goes down too quickly.
- 54:41So sometimes the arm is so dead that it won't stay and you've
- 54:44got to use the person's name and you got to say Adam there and
- 54:48it'll do it. Not there, not there.
- 54:51And and then they get it and it's just locked there.
- 54:54And I do look out for, if I feel there's conscious interference
- 55:00and the arm just goes down, you can kind of tell.
- 55:03And if that happens, well, I want to be respectful.
- 55:06So if that happens, I'll put the arm back up and I'll say I'm not
- 55:09sure whether that was conscious or unconscious mind.
- 55:13So I'm just cutting back there again.
- 55:15Sometimes it's ready to go and the, the arm goes down really
- 55:18quickly and it's gone. Typically it's two or three
- 55:25minutes making its way down. Sometimes it can be 10 minutes
- 55:28or more. I always like to attach it.
- 55:34Then if it's, if it's a long time coming down, you know, they
- 55:37might have thoughts in their own mind.
- 55:38My arm isn't moving. Why is it not moving?
- 55:41They might have those thoughts. So, so the things that I do take
- 55:44the pressure off completely. I don't know if you consciously
- 55:47recall the metaphor of the baths of the water draining out, but
- 55:52that's to tell them like, you know, there's nothing the bath
- 55:54needs to do for the water to drain away.
- 55:55There's nothing for you to do for the habit to drain away.
- 55:57So we want to take the pressure off them completely and let them
- 56:00just be in the situation, be in the moment.
- 56:04We're all in that space for them.
- 56:07If it's a long time coming down, I will congratulate them on
- 56:10having an unconscious mind that's so thorough and that does
- 56:14all of that work for them thoroughly.
- 56:16If it comes down, uh, quickly, but not too quickly, I'll
- 56:20congratulate them on having an unconscious mind that really
- 56:22knows what it wants and is going after it.
- 56:25And a lot of The thing is taking the pressure off.
- 56:30We we, we know from doing kind of trance or different things
- 56:34ourselves, like you can feel under pressure and once you're
- 56:37told there's nothing you have to do, you can drift away.
- 56:42It's a nice permission and it allows us and allows your client
- 56:47that space to let happen what needs to happen.
- 56:51I really enjoyed it and I think it's it's very, it's a very good
- 56:54simple framework because you've got you've got that that kind of
- 56:58induction, you've got the deepener.
- 56:59You know, there is the, you know, some level the metaphor of
- 57:04the corridor, but equally it, it's, it's one of those, again,
- 57:09you've got several analogue kind of things in there.
- 57:11The distance of the corridor is an analogue.
- 57:13The the length of time that the hand goes down is an analogue.
- 57:16And that element of where they're going to go at their own
- 57:18pace and what they see in the images of their future pacing.
- 57:21That's that's what they want their future to be.
- 57:23I think it's I think it's a great protocol.
- 57:26So I'll definitely be seeing you in in Dublin to learn more about
- 57:29that. Remind us again if people want
