- 0:00Speaker 1: What are you so excited about, Peyton?
- 0:01Speaker 2: You guys, I got the most insane PR package of
- 0:05Speaker 2: my entire life.
- 0:06Speaker 3: And I'm not one that gets a PR package.
- 0:09Speaker 4: Can you explain PR package and how you get a
- 0:11Speaker 4: PR package at your house?
- 0:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 0:13Speaker 2: A PR package is a personal relations package. So basically
- 0:17Speaker 2: these brands, they get together and they create these kind
- 0:20Speaker 2: of boxes that showcase what they're promoting right now or
- 0:23Speaker 2: what they're all about.
- 0:23Speaker 3: And a lot of.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Influencers get them. So if you see a lot of
- 0:26Speaker 2: those unboxings online, a lot of times those are coming from.
- 0:29Speaker 1: I do unboxings.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Yes, you do do unboxings.
- 0:32Speaker 1: I don't get personal, what do you call it?
- 0:34Speaker 3: Personal relations.
- 0:35Speaker 1: I don't get personal, I get public relations.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Oh, maybe that's what it is, public relations.
- 0:39Speaker 4: Personal relations aren't allowed in my house anymore.
- 0:41Speaker 3: See, I'm not a PR person, so that makes sense. Okay,
- 0:43Speaker 3: so is it public, okay.
- 0:44Speaker 4: Public relations, like a movie studio will send something to
- 0:46Speaker 4: the radio station for all of us.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Thank you. So you can promote it.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Yeah, so you got something at your house.
- 0:50Speaker 3: I got something sent to my house. By Prada Beauty. Oh, Prada.
- 0:56Speaker 3: That's big time.
- 0:56Speaker 5: Prada Beauty.
- 0:57Speaker 6: My Italian brothers and sisters.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Literally, I was like gagged when this thing came to
- 1:02Speaker 2: my house. And I was shocked because the actual box
- 1:05Speaker 2: that it came in from the mail was from L'Oreal,
- 1:08Speaker 2: like the makeup brand. So I think that they're all
- 1:10Speaker 2: like one in the same. So when I open it
- 1:12Speaker 2: and I see this black Prada box, I about passed out.
- 1:16Speaker 1: What was in it?
- 1:17Speaker 2: It was a whole bunch of their like new makeup lines,
- 1:20Speaker 2: like these new blushes that they dropped, a concealer.
- 1:23Speaker 3: They had some lip glosses.
- 1:24Speaker 2: But what was really cool in there is they had
- 1:26Speaker 2: the Paradox Prada perfume scent and the Paradigm Prada perfume
- 1:30Speaker 2: or the Paradigm Prada cologne scent because they saw the
- 1:34Speaker 2: video of Kareem and I of Zendaya crashing our wedding.
- 1:36Speaker 6: Wow.
- 1:36Speaker 3: And Zendaya and Tom Holland are currently the faces of
- 1:39Speaker 3: that campaign.
- 1:39Speaker 6: Oh, wow.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Oh, that's cool.
- 1:41Speaker 4: So because of your wedding thing, you got this cool
- 1:44Speaker 4: stuff sent to you. You know, it's funny because I
- 1:45Speaker 4: do these unboxing videos. The unboxing videos I do are
- 1:48Speaker 4: because it was your idea, Rich. Because you get boxes.
- 1:50Speaker 4: We get stuff all the time in my house. And
- 1:52Speaker 4: I got to the point where I'm like... I'm hoping
- 1:54Speaker 4: people will start sending me stuff for free, but I
- 1:55Speaker 4: also don't want them to have my address.
- 1:57Speaker 6: None of them have been free.
- 1:58Speaker 1: They're all things you had to pay for. Everything I open,
- 2:00Speaker 1: I pay for. Everything I open, I pay for.
- 2:02Speaker 4: But the thing is, I don't know what I bought,
- 2:03Speaker 4: so I just kind of open stuff without knowing what
- 2:05Speaker 4: they are.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Sometimes it's for my wife, my kids, me.
- 2:07Speaker 4: It could be kitchen sponges. But it'd be kind of
- 2:08Speaker 4: fun to get into, like, what do you get for free?
- 2:11Speaker 4: You know, because of where you worked or who you
- 2:12Speaker 4: know or what happened to you.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Like Peyton.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Let's hear about the hookup. Yeah, they call us at 877-937-1047. Lauren,
- 2:15Speaker 4: you got something like that? Something you get for free?
- 2:21Speaker 7: Yeah, so my sister used to work at the Biltmore,
- 2:24Speaker 7: and she called me because a wedding had been canceled
- 2:27Speaker 7: the morning of the ceremony, which is so sad.
- 2:29Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 2:30Speaker 7: I think the couple had broken up that morning. So
- 2:33Speaker 7: everything was already set up and paid for. I'm talking
- 2:36Speaker 7: like flowers, cakes, and paints, the string quartet, the whole thing.
- 2:41Speaker 7: She was like, hey, do you want to come use it?
- 2:46Speaker 7: The six of us showed up and basically had, like,
- 2:49Speaker 7: a fake wedding reception for ourselves.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 2:52Speaker 7: Yeah, I know, right?
- 2:53Speaker 6: With a string quartet?
- 2:55Speaker 7: Yeah. Yeah, like, everything was already there. We ate a
- 3:00Speaker 7: $ 6, 000 wedding cake, drank all the champagne.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Dang.
- 3:04Speaker 7: The photographer was there. We took professional photos.
- 3:09Speaker 1: That's awesome.
- 3:10Speaker 6: Wow, boy, they exited in a hurry that they couldn't
- 3:14Speaker 6: cancel any of that.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Wow.
- 3:16Speaker 7: No, it was, I mean, they broke up that morning.
- 3:18Speaker 7: So everything was already, you know, in go mode. And
- 3:21Speaker 7: so the photographer was on site. And at one point
- 3:25Speaker 7: he even asked us to recreate the bride's first dance.
- 3:30Speaker 7: And one of my friends had met some guy. And
- 3:32Speaker 7: so they, you know, coordinated and, and reenacted like a
- 3:37Speaker 7: first dance, um, The only thing is that it got
- 3:42Speaker 7: kind of scary because we got kicked out when the
- 3:44Speaker 7: bride's mom showed up and was looking for the wedding cake.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
- 3:48Speaker 3: She was like, I'll take that.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Oh, no. That changes the segment. You didn't get it
- 3:53Speaker 1: for free. You stole a cake.
- 3:55Speaker 3: With permission, though.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Have at it.
- 4:00Speaker 6: Your sister, you said, was with a wedding planner. Do
- 4:02Speaker 6: you know, like, total what they spent and didn't get back?
- 4:06Speaker 7: No, but I mean, a $ 6, 000 wedding cake, a string quartet, like,
- 4:11Speaker 7: I know that they spent thousands and thousands, probably $.
- 4:15Speaker 5: 60, 000, $ 70, 000.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Oh, I'm like more than that.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Yeah, that was not a cheap wedding.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I feel bad for.
- 4:20Speaker 4: The, if you're the mom that showed up and the
- 4:23Speaker 4: cake's gone, and you're like, I paid for this cake, like,
- 4:25Speaker 4: it's not, there's still like an asterisk with this one
- 4:29Speaker 4: as far as, yeah, you know.
- 4:30Speaker 1: All right, Lauren, thank you for calling. Thank you very
- 4:32Speaker 1: much for calling. Marcus.
- 4:34Speaker 5: Hey, guys.
- 4:35Speaker 8: How's it going?
- 4:35Speaker 4: What's the craziest thing you ever got for free because
- 4:38Speaker 4: of who you knew, where you worked, or because someone
- 4:41Speaker 4: screwed up?
- 4:43Speaker 8: Well, I got to tell you, my uncle owns a
- 4:45Speaker 8: company that installs pools and spas. And a customer actually
- 4:51Speaker 8: canceled a massive backyard project literally the day everything.
- 4:57Speaker 5: Arrived, right? So my uncle actually calls me and he says, hey,
- 5:01Speaker 5: do you want a hot tub? And I'm Honestly, you guys,
- 5:04Speaker 5: I figured he meant one of those little four-person ones.
- 5:08Speaker 5: You know what I mean?
- 5:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:11Speaker 5: So I show up, and there's a $ 60, 000 eight-person hot
- 5:16Speaker 5: tub with a waterfall, LED lights, and a built-in TV
- 5:21Speaker 5: sitting on a pallet. Now, apparently, I guess it was
- 5:25Speaker 5: like a custom-made thing for the customer, and it couldn't
- 5:28Speaker 5: be returned. So my uncle had nowhere to put it.
- 5:33Speaker 5: So he gave it to me, right? Now, the problem
- 5:37Speaker 5: was that I lived in an apartment. So I had
- 5:45Speaker 5: to call my landlord and explain that I accidentally acquired
- 5:49Speaker 5: a hot tub bigger than my living room, and I
- 5:52Speaker 5: couldn't fit it on my balcony. So I literally ended
- 5:56Speaker 5: up moving apartments so that I could accommodate it.
- 6:00Speaker 6: Wait, the next landlord's like, sure, you can put it
- 6:02Speaker 6: in the backyard. They were fine with it?
- 6:05Speaker 5: Well, I mean, I moved apartments and, yeah, I mean,
- 6:10Speaker 5: had a bigger yard, bigger porch, and was able to
- 6:13Speaker 5: fit everything on there.
- 6:15Speaker 2: If I was your uncle, I would be trying to
- 6:17Speaker 2: sell that hot tub like no other.
- 6:20Speaker 5: $ 60, 000?
- 6:20Speaker 3: That's insane.
- 6:21Speaker 6: You could have gotten plenty back on Facebook Marketplace.
- 6:24Speaker 4: I would think you would have been like, to the
- 6:25Speaker 4: apartment complex, let's put this in the complex. Give me
- 6:28Speaker 4: a bunch of money off my rent.
- 6:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:30Speaker 4: If I give this to you guys.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Let me leave it for three, four, five months.
- 6:35Speaker 6: We have problems with everybody to get something for free.
- 6:38Speaker 4: Marcus, thanks for calling in and sharing that story. Thank you, man.
- 6:41Speaker 4: You know, it's funny. Cause I, this is going, I
- 6:43Speaker 4: have a story that just happened to me a couple
- 6:45Speaker 4: of days ago, similar to this, but so much smaller,
- 6:50Speaker 4: but my excitement level was the exact same excitement of
- 6:53Speaker 4: getting a $ 10, 000 hot tub. So I, If you remember
- 6:56Speaker 4: a couple of weeks ago, I told you guys I
- 6:57Speaker 4: was in San Diego and I jumped in the ocean.
- 6:58Speaker 4: My whoop fell off into the ocean. An hour before
- 7:01Speaker 4: I jumped in the ocean, my whoop fell off. I
- 7:03Speaker 4: bought a new whoop band for $ 79 because the whoop
- 7:06Speaker 4: band I had was terrible. And that's why I fell
- 7:09Speaker 4: in the ocean. $ 79. Well, after it fell in the ocean,
- 7:11Speaker 4: I reordered a whoop and I had to get the
- 7:13Speaker 4: newer whoop. And now I had to get a new
- 7:14Speaker 4: band because it's a totally different model of the whoop.
- 7:17Speaker 4: My $ 79 whoop band came in the mail the other day.
- 7:20Speaker 4: And I said to my son, I go, did you
- 7:22Speaker 4: want this? And he goes, no, I don't want to
- 7:23Speaker 4: screw with my whoop. I don't want to touch your band.
- 7:25Speaker 1: I said, okay.
- 7:26Speaker 4: So I'm going to return it. My wife says, send
- 7:28Speaker 4: me the email, the number, the serial number, and I'll
- 7:30Speaker 4: return it. So I, she goes to return it. Whoop
- 7:32Speaker 4: emails me and says, fill out all this form and
- 7:34Speaker 4: we'll return your whoop and so I can get my
- 7:36Speaker 4: $ 79 back. I fill out the form. They say to me, um,
- 7:40Speaker 4: We refunded your money. $ 79 being refunded to your account.
- 7:43Speaker 1: And by the way, go ahead and keep the band.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Oh, nice.
- 7:46Speaker 1: And I was like, get out of here. All right.
- 7:48Speaker 3: I will.
- 7:49Speaker 1: That's awesome. I get to keep that out of service. Oh,
- 7:51Speaker 1: my God.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Now, keep in mind, the band is useless.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I cannot use it. But I was like, wow. I
- 7:59Speaker 1: got a free $ 79 loop band.
- 8:02Speaker 4: These two guys got a free wedding cake, a free wedding,
- 8:05Speaker 4: a free $ 10, 000 hot tub.
- 8:07Speaker 2: $ 60, 000.
- 8:07Speaker 4: And I feel more excited about it than my whoop
- 8:11Speaker 4: pan that's just sitting in my living room right now.
- 8:13Speaker 4: Doing nothing. I remember that time Kyle tried to return a,
- 8:17Speaker 4: what did you?
- 8:18Speaker 3: It was a dresser.
- 8:19Speaker 1: A dresser.
- 8:19Speaker 3: They sent me two dressers for Easton's room. And I
- 8:22Speaker 3: was like, yeah, you sent an extra one. They're like,
- 8:26Speaker 3: just keep it.
- 8:27Speaker 1: That's what I mean.
- 8:28Speaker 4: Awesome.
- 8:29Speaker 5: I will.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Where is it right now? You have two of them?
- 8:30Speaker 1: In his room. He's using it. He has two in
- 8:32Speaker 1: his room?
- 8:33Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I have stuff in this drawer or I have stuff
- 8:36Speaker 1: in this drawer. I have so many things in so
- 8:39Speaker 1: many drawers. I keep one pair of socks in this drawer,
- 8:42Speaker 1: another pair of socks in this other drawer. We have
- 8:44Speaker 1: many drawers at our house. Plush with frescoes.
- 8:46Speaker 6: Yeah.
