• 2:05
  A A L A C Chasing your Dream book tour. Have had a lot
• 2:08
of questions, have had a lot of questions, So I am on here.
• 2:14
I am on here to help answer those questions. So if you are
• 2:17
tuning in, if you're out there and you have questions, I want you
• 2:25
to post those questions in the comments section. But y'all, there's a lot
• 2:30
of information that is floating around about this amazing event that's gonna be taking place
• 2:38
throughout this here. We're gonna kick off April the sixth and Myrtle beat South
• 2:47
Carolina at the Landmark Hotel. Then we're headed to Dallas Fort Worth area.
• 2:55
We're gonna be down there May the eighteenth. Then we're headed on up to
• 3:01
Chicago, Illinois. We're going to be in the building. I give a
• 3:06
shot out to those ambassadors that have decided to join me and help bring AA
• 3:15
LAC Chasing your dream book towards to your area. For those that have been
• 3:20
following the platform, know that this is something that we did back in twenty
• 3:23
sixteen. Twenty seventeen when I originally launched AA la C in Anderson, South
• 3:30
Carolina. September twenty sixteen was when I originally launched AA LAC. My desire
• 3:38
was to get out and to bring awareness to Brown and black authors around the
• 3:43
world while tackling literacy. In literacy within our Brown community. Wanted to bring
• 3:51
awareness, So what I decided to do was to provide an opportunity for authors
• 3:58
to come together. Authors to come together. So normally, what we usually
• 4:01
do is try to bring about thirty authors together, about fifteen Brown businesses together.
• 4:09
We usually have about fifty a spot that will hold about fifty to sixty
• 4:15
individuals as far as those that participating in the event, but we usually try
• 4:19
to get a spot that will hold about two hundred patrons so that we can
• 4:24
have those that want to come out and support us come out and support be
• 4:28
a part of what we got going on this year. What we're changing a
• 4:30
little bit about what we're changing is we're going to provide a red carpet experience
• 4:35
at each one of these events. So as you come out to these events,
• 4:39
you're gonna have an opportunity. If you are an author or a business
• 4:42
owner, You're going to have an opportunity to be on the red carpet to
• 4:45
be interviewed by the Crew podcast because one of these amazing queens is gonna be
• 4:53
on the red carpet. At each one of these events. You're gonna have
• 4:56
an opportunity to get interviewed, be featured in the magazine. All of those
• 5:02
opportunities will be available as we travel around the USA bringing awareness to Brown authors
• 5:13
and Brown business owners. We're gonna be doing breakout sessions. In these breakout
• 5:17
sessions, we're gonna have individuals that are expert in those areas of branding,
• 5:23
marketing, networking, membership programs, speaking platforms, anything that will help you
• 5:30
just go from being a vendor at these events and truly being an entrepreneur,
• 5:35
being an entrepreneur bringing in streams of income, making money while you sleep from
• 5:42
your book, creating coaching program, creating online content, different things that will
• 5:48
help take you to the next level as an author and a writer. So
• 5:51
that's what we're doing at these workshops, at these different stops. If you
• 5:59
have not been a part of the previous ones, y'all, I encourage you
• 6:03
to go over to AA L a c's page. Y'all can see some of
• 6:08
the events that we have helped throughout twenty seventeen through throughout twenty eighteen. Connect
• 6:14
with some of those people that have been a part of these events and see
• 6:18
what we're doing. But this is an opportunity to network. If you are
• 6:23
in Alabama, if you are in Memphis, Tennessee, Charlotte, North Carolina,
• 6:30
New York, Prattville, Alabama. Did I say Savannah, Georgia and
• 6:38
Savannah Georgia. If you are in these areas and you will like to be
• 6:42
a part of the planning, be a part of the actual behind the scenes
• 6:46
as well as be a part of it, please reach out to me.
• 6:49
The more we have on the teams and working in I think the better the
• 6:55
event will be. So there's always room for one more. So, if
• 6:59
you want to be a part of the planning, the behind the scenes,
• 7:02
the getting together of these amazing events, please reach out to me. We
• 7:09
can never have too many people on board with the planning process, so definitely
• 7:15
I want to connect with you. If you are a speaker, a workshop
• 7:20
facilitator, an author, a poet. If you are any of that,
• 7:27
you definitely want to be connected with this again. April sixth, we're gonna
• 7:32
be in murder By, South Carolina. We're going to announce our poet and
• 7:38
our poet poet as of the Year for twenty twenty four. So whoever's gonna
• 7:43
be taking over the ring from Miss Lisa Hopkins, who is our twenty twenty
• 7:48
three poet acts of the Year? Who knows? A male may take the
• 7:53
throne this year and we may have a Poet of the year. Who knows.
• 7:57
The queen's just been winning. They've been winning and they've been winning.
• 8:01
So for the last two years we've had a queen on the throne. So,
• 8:05
Kings, I want to encourage you, if you are a poet,
• 8:07
nominate yourself. You never know who may vote for you. The most votes

Tour in Murderlebeat, South Carolina. The winner what does the winner get?
• 8:26
The winner gets to be in charge of the poetry corner of the magazine from
• 8:33
twenty twenty four to twenty twenty April twenty twenty five. They also get to
• 8:39
be in charge of our private poetry group on Facebook. It is I forgot
• 8:50
the name of it, poetry speaking from our soul. I think it's the
• 8:58
name of it. But we have a private poetry group that is being ran
• 9:03
currently by Lisa Hopkins, who is our poet Is of the Year for twenty
• 9:07

• 13:22
my mind and blew my mind. I was looking at one of the blocks
• 13:26
that I do through the magazine, and y'all, I'm thinking that people in
• 13:33
America support you know, it's people overseas. It's supporting my blog. People
• 13:39
overseas. It's what's keeping my blog going. Because the top three supporters of
• 13:43
my blog is not from America, y'all, not from America. When I
• 13:50
can you say, can you say not from America, not from America.
• 13:54
They are from other places. I've shared the post. In the post,
• 14:00
you can see that they are coming out of the UK, Germany, Finland.
• 14:07
We had and this is in the last seven days, y'all. We've
• 14:13
had forty five out of I want to say Finland, forty five people out
• 14:18
of Canada. For twenty two people out of Germany or one of those,
• 14:24
but it's not the US, So we've only had seventeen people from the US
• 14:28
chime into our blog. So thank you international supporters for supporting the Queen or
• 14:35
collaborations. Y'all continue to show up and show out for me, and I
• 14:41
have no choice but to love you guys for loving on me. So thank
• 14:45
you for all that you do for the Queen. It's truly appreciated because sometime,
• 14:50
y'all, we be thinking what we're doing is not being appreciated, is
• 14:52
not being recognized, is not being seen. But I can truly say that
• 14:58
we are being seen, we are being heard, and I thank you guys
• 15:01
that are supporting. So for those that are missing out, keep on missing
• 15:05
out because you make it room for those that will support. So, hey,
• 15:11
y'all, I'm out of here. No, if you want to get
• 15:13
involved, you come to the right platform. It's not by accident that you
• 15:18
keep popping in and popping out. It is ordained. So go ahead,
• 15:22
when you're ready, just come on and let the Queen assist you on this
• 15:26
journey we call life, y'all. I love y'all, Be blessed, have
• 15:30
  a great day.
