- 1:52Speaker 1: the radio calls from Sunday's three point home loss to Baltimore.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Second and goal from the one, Jackson gives it to
- 1:58Speaker 1: Josh Edwards and he is shoved into the end zone
- 2:01Speaker 1: by a teammate for the Baltimore touchdown. Kevin Zeitler with
- 2:06Speaker 1: the tush push to help Gus Edwards get in. Jackson
- 2:10Speaker 1: in the gun hill is the running back Lamar back
- 2:13Speaker 1: to throw has time now in trouble.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Tosses the ball. The pangos fall on it. At the
- 2:19Speaker 2: eighteen yard line.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Trey Hendrickson punched it out and a teammate recovered at
- 2:25Speaker 1: the eighteen Logan Wilson with the recovery.
- 2:28Speaker 2: I'll tell you boy, just what the doctor ordered.
- 2:32Speaker 1: There's a penalty flag down at the fifteen yard line.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Illegal use of hands to the face defense.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Number nine oh many.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Pendley would be enforcement in the previous spot.
- 2:43Speaker 2: It's bout the whole ball plus down.
- 2:45Speaker 4: Man.
- 2:45Speaker 2: That's a very very painful penalty.
- 2:48Speaker 5: Zach Carter did get his hands up on under that
- 2:50Speaker 5: face mask.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Second year punter Jordan Stout is in. Charlie Jones waits
- 2:55Speaker 1: to return. Here comes the punt, a very high, wobbly kick.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Jones will at it at the nineteen starts toward the
- 3:02Speaker 1: near side. Is at the thirty penalty flag down. Cross
- 3:06Speaker 1: is the fifty. He's gonna take it to the house.
- 3:08Speaker 1: But there's a penalty flag down.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Wow, that one's coming back too.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Would have been an eighty one yard touchdown return for
- 3:17Speaker 1: Charlie Jones, so.
- 3:19Speaker 2: A penalty has nullified.
- 3:20Speaker 5: A takeaway would have been short field and then another
- 3:23Speaker 5: penalty shortly.
- 3:24Speaker 2: There's no fall on the play. It's a touchdown, all right.
- 3:27Speaker 2: How about it? How about it? And the other penalty
- 3:31Speaker 2: didn't occur. No foul on the plane. Pick that bad
- 3:34Speaker 2: boy up, give a special teams touchdowns.
- 3:37Speaker 1: It'll be a forty yard try for Justin Tucker to
- 3:40Speaker 1: try to give Baltimore the halftime lead. The snap, the placement,
- 3:43Speaker 1: the kick is on its way. It is hooking, but
- 3:46Speaker 1: it is good and Baltimore will head to the locker
- 3:49Speaker 1: room on top by three thirteen ten. At the half,
- 3:53Speaker 1: boy goes out to the left and Jamar Chase lines
- 3:56Speaker 1: up in the backfield along with Joe Mixon. Scrambling right,
- 4:01Speaker 1: throws caught by mixing lots of running room off the
- 4:04Speaker 1: sideline to the Ravens forty thirty five, and he gets
- 4:07Speaker 1: taken out of bounds near the Baltimore thirty by safety
- 4:12Speaker 1: Gino Stone, though mark mixing out at the Ravens thirty two,
- 4:16Speaker 1: a thirty one yard gain, the Bengals biggest of the season.
- 4:20Speaker 1: On second down, Burrow drops straight back to throw looking
- 4:23Speaker 1: fires over the mountain, intercepted at the goal line. Gino Smith,
- 4:27Speaker 1: running it back to the twenty, has a blocker in
- 4:29Speaker 1: front of the thirty and goes out of bounds with
- 4:33Speaker 1: Joe Burrow helping to get him out. At the thirty
- 4:36Speaker 1: eight yard line. Third down and goal from the three,
- 4:39Speaker 1: Lamar Jackson in the gun back at the eight. Hill
- 4:42Speaker 1: lines up to his right. It's a rollout to the right,
- 4:45Speaker 1: a pass. It's caught. Andrews sticks the ball forward. Touchdown Baltimore.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Dax Hill arrived to try to stop Mark Andrews, but
- 4:53Speaker 1: he had both hands around the ball. He extended it
- 4:56Speaker 1: forward and he got the tip of the ball past
- 4:58Speaker 1: the goal line. Burrow catch at the eight. He'll drop
- 5:01Speaker 1: back to throw passes into the end zone.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Higgins touches it. Touchdown. Bengals has t.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Higgins used his size advantage over five foot eight inch
- 5:13Speaker 1: nickel corner ar Darius Washington and made the catch for
- 5:18Speaker 1: the bengals first offensive touchdown of the year. Third down
- 5:22Speaker 1: and five for Baltimore at the Cincinnati seventeen yard line.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Lamar and the gun. He'll to his left. Jackson has
- 5:30Speaker 1: the ball. He's back to throw. He'll float it for
- 5:32Speaker 1: the end zone over the shoulder, catch, touchdown. Nelson Agalore
- 5:37Speaker 1: empty backfield for Burrow. The Ravens showing pressure. Burrow ready
- 5:42Speaker 1: catches the shotgun snap. He's in trouble throws off his
- 5:45Speaker 1: back foot, Higgins makes the catch touchdown.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Bengals.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Burrow retreating to avoid the rush and he made a
- 5:55Speaker 1: great throw off his back foot to t Higgins for
- 5:59Speaker 1: the touchdown. Victory formation for the Ravens. Lamar takes the snap,
- 6:04Speaker 1: takes a knee, and.
- 6:05Speaker 2: That is that.
- 6:07Speaker 1: The Baltimore Ravens open the season two and oh as
- 6:10Speaker 1: they come to Cincinnati and beat the Bengals twenty seven
- 6:14Speaker 1: to twenty fourth. The Ravens are two and oh. The
- 6:17Speaker 1: Bengals are zero to two with both losses in the division.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Up next a Monday night home game against the Rams.
- 6:26Speaker 1: The Bengals Booth Podcast is brought to you by Kettering Health,

- 6:39Speaker 1: Visit ketteringhealth dot org to learn more. All right, let's
- 6:44Speaker 1: get to topic number one. Joe Burrow. Joe finished twenty
- 6:48Speaker 1: seven for forty one. That's sixty six percent for two
- 6:52Speaker 1: hundred twenty two yards and two touchdowns, one hundred and
- 6:55Speaker 1: eighty seven of those passing yards came in the second half,
- 6:59Speaker 1: but know also through that costly interception in the third quarter,
- 7:03Speaker 1: floating one right to safety Gino Stone near the goal line.
- 7:07Speaker 6: Looking back, we moved it really well. It came down
- 7:09Speaker 6: to the turnover in the red zone.
- 7:10Speaker 7: When you're playing that team, you can't you can't have
- 7:13Speaker 7: that that mistake because they're gonna run it. Well, they're
- 7:16Speaker 7: gonna keep it away from you. They're gonna score points.
- 7:19Speaker 7: Lamar is a great player. He's gonna make plays, So
- 7:21Speaker 7: you gotta take advantage of all your rezone opportunities.
- 7:23Speaker 6: And that was my mistake.
- 7:24Speaker 2: What did you see on that?
- 7:26Speaker 6: It was a good play by the safety.
- 7:27Speaker 7: Yeah, really good play by him, good disguise, but I
- 7:31Speaker 7: gotta I gotta see.
- 7:33Speaker 1: That to make matters worse. After throwing a touchdown on
- 7:36Speaker 1: his last pass of the day, Burrow could be seen
- 7:38Speaker 1: on the bench using a thera gun to massage his calf.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Back up. Jake Browning even started warming up on the sideline.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I've edited together everything Burrow had to say about his
- 7:51Speaker 1: calf after the game.
- 7:53Speaker 6: Let's treat it a little bit again and we'll see
- 7:57Speaker 6: where it is.
- 7:57Speaker 8: Ma.
- 7:59Speaker 6: Yeah, I was gonna come back out did you let.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Yourself think it up long term or is it just
- 8:02Speaker 1: strong need to make faces.
- 8:04Speaker 7: It's gonna have to wait and see. Yuh, I'm not
- 8:05Speaker 7: sure how it's gonna feel the next couple of days. Uh,
- 8:07Speaker 7: it's pretty sore right now, but no no telling how
- 8:10Speaker 7: it's gonna feel.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Sorrow.
- 8:11Speaker 6: I think we're gonna take a date to day. How
- 8:13Speaker 6: did you tweak it?
- 8:14Speaker 1: Uh?
- 8:15Speaker 6: It was on the it was on the play before
- 8:16Speaker 6: the last touchdown.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Since you heard your cat id you had good days
- 8:19Speaker 1: and bad days.
- 8:20Speaker 6: Has it felt like it does now on any of
- 8:22Speaker 6: those bad days?
- 8:23Speaker 1: Or is this different?
- 8:25Speaker 6: Again?
- 8:25Speaker 7: It's tough to tell you have some of those days.
- 8:29Speaker 7: But it's hard to give you guys an answer on
- 8:32Speaker 7: that until you know the next couple of days. We
- 8:34Speaker 7: give it a couple, a couple of nights, couple.
- 8:36Speaker 6: Of sleeps, and we'll see you. We'll go from there.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Just the first time you tweet the gap or has
- 8:41Speaker 3: just been kind.
- 8:42Speaker 6: Of on the one thing that frustrated for you?
- 8:45Speaker 7: You know, whenever you have these kind of things, it's
- 8:46Speaker 7: it's always ongoing. It's always something that you're managing.
- 8:49Speaker 6: Uh. Like I said, I don't know how I'm gonna
- 8:51Speaker 6: feel the next couple of days. Uh, we'll have to
- 8:53Speaker 6: wait soon. Go I I mean, I don't know. I
- 8:59Speaker 6: don't know. It's tough to tell. It's tough to.
- 9:02Speaker 7: Look into the future and see that I'm doing everything
- 9:05Speaker 7: I can to get healthy and get that thing the
- 9:08Speaker 7: way I needed to so I can go out and
- 9:10Speaker 7: perform the way I need to to win.
- 9:12Speaker 6: We'll see.
- 9:13Speaker 1: We'll all have to wait and see. But the Bengals
- 9:15Speaker 1: are certainly going to be cautious with their franchise quarterback.
- 9:19Speaker 1: As for Baltimore's QB, Lamar Jackson was twenty four for
- 9:22Speaker 1: thirty three for two hundred and thirty seven yards with
- 9:25Speaker 1: two touchdowns no picks at a passer rating of one
- 9:28Speaker 1: twelve point eight. He also rushed for fifty four yards,
- 9:32Speaker 1: mostly unscrambles, and Lamar made two exquisite throws, a fifty
- 9:37Speaker 1: two yard bombed rookie's A Flowers and a seventeen yard
- 9:41Speaker 1: touchdown to Nelson Agalore that turned out to be the
- 9:44Speaker 1: game winning score. Chidabaya Woujie was in coverage on that
- 9:49Speaker 1: touchdown pass.
- 9:52Speaker 3: It was a great ball on his outside shoulder. I'm
- 9:54Speaker 3: running with him. I'm getting ready to look back and
- 9:58Speaker 3: then I see that guys getting big the balls coming,
- 10:01Speaker 3: and you know, it was just, you know, a great ball.
- 10:03Speaker 3: But on my part, I felt like I could have
- 10:05Speaker 3: anticipated it way better, kind of got there sooner. He
- 10:10Speaker 3: gave me a look in the beginning where you know,
- 10:12Speaker 3: I kind of you know, s third and five, third
- 10:14Speaker 3: and short, thinking he may do a short route, and
- 10:16Speaker 3: then he kind of burst it out of there and
- 10:17Speaker 3: I was still in a good position. But again, it's just
- 10:19Speaker 3: a great, great pass, and yeah, next time that happens,
- 10:22Speaker 3: I'll definitely be ready for that.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Lamar didn't have a ton of rushing yards, but it
- 10:26Speaker 1: seemed like when they needed and they get a few,
- 10:28Speaker 1: he did. Yeah, and I guess that's what he does.
- 10:30Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 10:30Speaker 3: I mean, he's the MVP of there a team for
- 10:32Speaker 3: a reason, you know, one of the best players in
- 10:34Speaker 3: our league, and all the all all the props to him. Obviously,
- 10:37Speaker 3: you know, we wish he would have tackled a little
- 10:39Speaker 3: bit better, but you know, guys like that, we kind
- 10:42Speaker 3: of have to just know that they're gonna extend plays
- 10:45Speaker 3: and you know it's gonna take all elevens, so you know,
- 10:47Speaker 3: we guys, you gotta do a better job of everybody
- 10:49Speaker 3: rolling to the ball when he does break loose.
- 10:51Speaker 1: I think did it hurt that have that takeaway in
- 10:53Speaker 1: the red zone and that haven't wiped out by the penalty.
- 10:55Speaker 3: Yeah, that was kind of ridiculous. I don't know what
- 10:57Speaker 3: they called. I don't wanna disrespect any refere anything like that.
- 11:00Speaker 3: I obviously didn't see it. I just know they called
- 11:02Speaker 3: hands to the face, and when the replayed, I didn't
- 11:04Speaker 3: see a hands to the face.
- 11:05Speaker 6: So obviously we.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Should have got more takeaways, but that one, I feel
- 11:10Speaker 3: like we should have.
- 11:11Speaker 9: Been a takeaway.
- 11:12Speaker 1: I don't have third down numbers in front of me,
- 11:14Speaker 1: but it seems like you had chances to stop them
- 11:17Speaker 1: on third and just could get those key stops.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I think we kind of did a We didn't
- 11:23Speaker 3: do a get enough job of getting them to third
- 11:25Speaker 3: year old. You know, it was a lot of third
- 11:26Speaker 3: and shores. They were able to run the office that
- 11:28Speaker 3: they're comfortable in the times that we did get them
- 11:30Speaker 3: in third and plus third and plus third a long.
- 11:34Speaker 3: We kind of made our stocks. But when it was
- 11:36Speaker 3: like five six or less, it's very hard to stop
- 11:38Speaker 3: the type of offense.
- 11:38Speaker 9: So we'll just do a little bit.
- 11:39Speaker 3: Better job of you know, playing first down defense, second
- 11:42Speaker 3: down defense to hopefully get third and longs.
- 11:44Speaker 1: So Rams at home next Monday, we gotta happen, right.
- 11:48Speaker 3: Yeah, when we were looking forward, you know, this is
- 11:49Speaker 3: a seventeen game season for a reason. Every season has
- 11:53Speaker 3: its different tribulations, different highs, different lows. You know, one
- 11:56Speaker 3: thing we can't be doing is thinking that we're the
- 11:58Speaker 3: same team as last year. So we're the same team
- 11:59Speaker 3: as before I start having these expectations. You know, all
- 12:02Speaker 3: we could do is to stay in the moment and
- 12:04Speaker 3: keep building our chemistry as a team. Right now, I
- 12:06Speaker 3: forget the history, forget all the bs what we did
- 12:09Speaker 3: in the past.
- 12:10Speaker 6: I don't care about none of that.
- 12:10Speaker 3: We got more new team and we just got to
- 12:12Speaker 3: keep building from the ground up obviously, you know, to
- 12:15Speaker 3: hopefully get our first win, and once we do, just
- 12:17Speaker 3: build that foundation and keep it rolling. So that's what
- 12:19Speaker 3: I'm looking forward to, is going against the Rams.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Cheatout, thank you, yep, for sure. Unfortunately, the Bengals loss
- 12:26Speaker 1: took some of the shine off of a great individual
- 12:29Speaker 1: moment for rookie Charlie Jones. Nearly sixteen years to the
- 12:33Speaker 1: day after the Bengals last punt return touchdown an eighty
- 12:36Speaker 1: one yarder by Adam Jones in the twenty twelve home opener.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Charlie Jones, no relation, also ran one back the same
- 12:45Speaker 1: distance and I talked to him about it after the game. Charlie,
- 12:50Speaker 1: congratulations an eighty one yard punt return touchdown in your
- 12:53Speaker 1: first home game at pay Course Stadium. Describe it.
- 12:56Speaker 4: Yeah, it was pretty sweet, you know, especially coming off
- 13:00Speaker 4: a week like last week. I'm just tryna, you know,
- 13:03Speaker 4: bounce back from a week like that. I was struggling
- 13:05Speaker 4: last week. Teammates, you know, all week were you know,
- 13:09Speaker 4: keeping me up, encouraging me, and then come out in
- 13:12Speaker 4: front of the home CROWBM just do that. Was was
- 13:14Speaker 4: pretty sweet, just trying to help out as much as
- 13:17Speaker 4: that possible can.
- 13:18Speaker 1: There was a penalty flag throwne Did you think it
- 13:20Speaker 1: was coming back?
- 13:21Speaker 2: I did.
- 13:22Speaker 4: I even I even gave the ball to the ref
- 13:25Speaker 4: thinking it wasn't gonna be good, so I don't even
- 13:28Speaker 4: have the.
- 13:28Speaker 9: Ball come on.
- 13:30Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, that's so.
- 13:32Speaker 1: I've seen a couple of teammates come up and congratulate you. Uh,
- 13:35Speaker 1: just kind of share the vibe from uh the other
- 13:38Speaker 1: guys on the squad after you do that.
- 13:40Speaker 6: Yeah, they've been.
- 13:40Speaker 4: They've been amazing. Like I said, this past weekday, you know,
- 13:44Speaker 4: they've been they've been building me up, making sure I'm
- 13:46Speaker 4: confident back there, encouraging me, you know, telling me to
- 13:49Speaker 4: just keep doing my thing back there. So you know,
- 13:52Speaker 4: they they were definitely hyped up. It's been you know,
- 13:56Speaker 4: a lot of ah ah the team effort this past week,
- 13:58Speaker 4: trying to get tryna bounce back, special teams wise, so
- 14:03Speaker 4: you know, and then they came out and they made
- 14:05Speaker 4: it for every block possible for me to just run through.
- 14:08Speaker 1: You made a guy miss early in the return, and
- 14:09Speaker 1: then it seemed like it was wide open down the sideline. Yeah,
- 14:12Speaker 1: it was.
- 14:13Speaker 4: It was wide open. They did a great job blocking
- 14:17Speaker 4: and it made my job pretty easy.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Does the end result take some of the joy away?
- 14:23Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, obviously the most important thing is getting
- 14:26Speaker 4: to win, and we didn't get that. But I know
- 14:29Speaker 4: his team's gonna, you know, bounce back, and I know
- 14:32Speaker 4: we're gonna have a good week of practice and get
- 14:35Speaker 4: in the film room and make our corrections. And I
- 14:37Speaker 4: don't think anyone in here is worried at all.
- 14:40Speaker 1: After two punts early, the offense moved the ball well
- 14:42Speaker 1: basically for the rest of the game. Did you see
- 14:45Speaker 1: the Bengals offense picking up the way that we kind
- 14:48Speaker 1: of all expected to perform.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I did.
- 14:51Speaker 4: Started started moving it pretty well, getting the crowd into it,
- 14:54Speaker 4: and just making plays like like, I know this offense
- 14:58Speaker 4: can so I think we just need to come I
- 15:00Speaker 4: need to build on that.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Sorry you didn't get the ball by congrats on the TV.
- 15:03Speaker 4: Thank you appreciate.

- 15:20Speaker 1: time to hear what Zach Taylor had to say after
- 15:22Speaker 1: the games. He spent a few minutes with Dave Lapham.
- 15:26Speaker 5: Second half seemed like offense getting a little bit better rhythm.
- 15:30Speaker 5: Joe through for like over one hundred ninety yards. I
- 15:32Speaker 5: think he and t started hooking up, starting to get
- 15:34Speaker 5: some chemistry and rhythm. What'd you think overall?
- 15:37Speaker 9: I thought those some good things that we're going to
- 15:39Speaker 9: continue to build on. You know, turn rebettals one and nothing.
- 15:42Speaker 9: You was by one possessions, that's not a shocker when
- 15:45Speaker 9: you play the Baltimore Ravens and you only get seven possessions.
- 15:48Speaker 9: That's just the way it goes.
- 15:49Speaker 5: That's their mo isn't it. I Mean they want to
- 15:52Speaker 5: hold onto the football, they want to get their running
- 15:54Speaker 5: game going. They get a quarterback that is like Gale
- 15:57Speaker 5: Stairs with a thrown arm. I mean, that guy is
- 15:59Speaker 5: with the ball in his hands. He's a unique, unique individual.
- 16:03Speaker 5: What goes through your mind when you know you have
- 16:06Speaker 5: such limited number of possessions? I mean, do you a
- 16:09Speaker 5: game plan differently or how do you approach it?
- 16:11Speaker 9: Oh, you got to be mindful of that. That's the
- 16:13Speaker 9: way it goes. But again, you stressed the term of
- 16:15Speaker 9: battle and they got us on that one. You know,
- 16:18Speaker 9: we got one from him. They got called back for
- 16:20Speaker 9: hands the face, and then that's just usually what this
- 16:24Speaker 9: game comes down to.
- 16:25Speaker 5: The fact that you get a special team's touchdown out
- 16:27Speaker 5: of Charlie Jones was a kind of an equalizer, A
- 16:30Speaker 5: nice a nice situation there. What was the thought process
- 16:33Speaker 5: when you saw that taking place?
- 16:35Speaker 9: Well, it was it was a good jolt for us
- 16:37Speaker 9: because we'd had seven plays on offense up to that point,
- 16:41Speaker 9: we had a holding, we'd been really efficient and had
- 16:43Speaker 9: a holding call that took us back to second long.
- 16:46Speaker 9: So we needed a jolt there and he gave it
- 16:48Speaker 9: to us.
- 16:49Speaker 5: What about from an injury standpoint, Nick Scott a concussion
- 16:54Speaker 5: protocol and there were a couple of other guys who
- 16:55Speaker 5: got nicked up a little bit. Is there any you
- 16:57Speaker 5: have any update in terms of their status?
- 16:59Speaker 9: No, nothing yet that I've heard on everybody.
- 17:01Speaker 5: In terms of where do you go from here? You
- 17:03Speaker 5: have another dead Joe was using that. I don't know
- 17:05Speaker 5: what you call that opera, what that piece of equipment is,
- 17:08Speaker 5: but he was trying to work in that calf a
- 17:10Speaker 5: little bit. Is it good to have a Monday night
- 17:12Speaker 5: game and maybe have an extra day or so and
- 17:14Speaker 5: let Joe work through that.
- 17:15Speaker 9: It probably doesn't hurt, you know a bit. A long
- 17:17Speaker 9: week we'll be good for us. It was hot today.
- 17:20Speaker 9: Our guys got a lot of snaps, a lot of
- 17:21Speaker 9: difficult snaps, you know, especially offensively there at the end
- 17:25Speaker 9: and that two minute drive that we were in and
- 17:27Speaker 9: we've done a score, those guys were pretty worn out.
- 17:29Speaker 9: So I think it'll be good to get that extra
- 17:30Speaker 9: day in here.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Coach appreciate it.
- 17:33Speaker 5: I know that from a scheduling standpoint, guys, will they
- 17:38Speaker 5: get will you give him a full extra day off
- 17:40Speaker 5: trying to like lick wounds and everything from this football
- 17:42Speaker 5: game physically.
- 17:43Speaker 9: You just get a little bit of an extra bonus
- 17:44Speaker 9: walk through in there.
- 17:46Speaker 5: Appreciate your time, yep, thank you.
- 17:48Speaker 1: So the Rams are up next. They beat Seattle in
- 17:51Speaker 1: Week one thirty to thirteen, before losing at home to
- 17:55Speaker 1: the forty nine ers this week thirty to twenty three.
- 17:58Speaker 1: In that loss to sand wide receiver Puoka Nakua, a
- 18:03Speaker 1: fifth round draft pick out of BYU, had fifteen catches
- 18:07Speaker 1: for one hundred and forty seven yards. That's a single
- 18:10Speaker 1: game record for receptions by a rookie, and in the
- 18:13Speaker 1: opener he had eleven catches for one nineteen. So after
- 18:17Speaker 1: two weeks, Pooka Nakua has twenty five catches for two
- 18:22Speaker 1: hundred and sixty six yards. The Cincinnati three way of Chase,
- 18:26Speaker 1: Higgins and Boyd has one more catch with twenty six,
- 18:30Speaker 1: but forty five fewer yards than Pooka Nakua with two
- 18:34Speaker 1: twenty one. And while Higgins had a big game on
- 18:38Speaker 1: Sunday with eight catches for eighty nine yards and two touchdowns,
- 18:41Speaker 1: Chase is only averaging seven yards a catch through two weeks.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Here's Burrow.
- 18:47Speaker 6: We'll go back and reevaluate that we need to get
- 18:50Speaker 6: him involved.
- 18:51Speaker 7: He's our best player on offense, so we need to
- 18:55Speaker 7: find a way to get him off.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Now, time for the radio guys recap lap. That is
- 19:01Speaker 1: not a happy locker room that we just emerged from.
- 19:04Speaker 5: No, it's not, and rightfully so, they're just not close
- 19:09Speaker 5: to being there yet. Although thirty five yards passing at
- 19:13Speaker 5: the half that Joe had was tracking for worse performance
- 19:16Speaker 5: in week one, and I thought that was impossible, But
- 19:19Speaker 5: then he threw for over one hundred and ninety yards
- 19:21Speaker 5: in the second half and seemed to get in a
- 19:23Speaker 5: rhythm that looked and encouraging and hopefully with another week
- 19:29Speaker 5: a long week, but with him, you're gonna need those
- 19:33Speaker 5: extra days maybe to heal up because he was limping
- 19:37Speaker 5: significantly and using a piece of equipment to try to
- 19:42Speaker 5: move some blood into that area and expedite the process.
- 19:47Speaker 5: So you just don't know. It's a day to day
- 19:50Speaker 5: thing right now.
- 19:51Speaker 1: T Higgins wound up having good numbers, including two touchdown catches.
- 19:55Speaker 1: The Bengals still have not been able to get the
- 19:57Speaker 1: ball deep in the first two games of the year.
- 20:00Speaker 5: Haven't and in the first game it was pressed man
- 20:04Speaker 5: coverage and safety deep. In this football game, they just
- 20:07Speaker 5: played two safeties very deep and said, you know, we're
- 20:10Speaker 5: going to keep everything in front of us and have
- 20:12Speaker 5: not been able to make connections. So still have work
- 20:17Speaker 5: to do for sure, and be interested to see how
- 20:20Speaker 5: the Rams play it. The Rams will do what the
- 20:22Speaker 5: Rams do. I don't know what the Rams have done
- 20:24Speaker 5: in the early stages of the season, but teams will
- 20:27Speaker 5: pretty much be who they are. They don't try to
- 20:29Speaker 5: be somebody else and junk everything they've worked on for
- 20:33Speaker 5: weeks and at the start of training camp even OTAs
- 20:37Speaker 5: you know, because one team had success with it in
- 20:39Speaker 5: a week. So we'll have to see what they look
- 20:42Speaker 5: like from a defensive standpoint and what they do on
- 20:44Speaker 5: the back end. But again, they're close. But there were
- 20:51Speaker 5: plays that were again just to tick off. And that's
- 20:54Speaker 5: in the National Football League. If you're a tick off,
- 20:56Speaker 5: it's it's just not good enough. I mean, everybody's making
- 20:59Speaker 5: the plays.
- 21:01Speaker 1: You made the point during the broadcast. The Bengals have
- 21:03Speaker 1: not had the lead in the first two games of
- 21:05Speaker 1: the season. That has such a big impact on what
- 21:07Speaker 1: you wind up calling as a play caller. Joe Mixon
- 21:11Speaker 1: lines up getting very few carries. You just you can't
- 21:14Speaker 1: have balance if you're constantly behind trying to catch up
- 21:17Speaker 1: with the opponent.
- 21:18Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what I hope that the Bengals go down
- 21:20Speaker 5: the field in the first possession against the Rams on
- 21:22Speaker 5: Monday Night Football and score, because I think that'll just
- 21:25Speaker 5: like you know, all of a sudden, the doors will
- 21:27Speaker 5: open and be nice, nice breeze and everything will beautiful again.
- 21:32Speaker 5: That's a factor. And I asked players and coaches after
- 21:37Speaker 5: the game. Knowing that you're going to have a limited
- 21:39Speaker 5: number of possessions the way Baltimore plays the game, I
- 21:42Speaker 5: asked the coach, does that affect how your game plan?
- 21:44Speaker 5: And they're like, yeah, you know it does, and players
- 21:48Speaker 5: feel it. The players know it as well. So when
- 21:50Speaker 5: you don't take advantage when you turn it over, I
- 21:53Speaker 5: don't like the Bengals did on a possession, and when
- 21:56Speaker 5: you had to turn over that's taken away because of
- 21:58Speaker 5: a penalty, Those are deflating things when you know you
- 22:03Speaker 5: gave a possession away and you could have accumulated one
- 22:06Speaker 5: that you didn't and in a three point game. Those
- 22:08Speaker 5: two things out a big time.
- 22:11Speaker 1: The defense couldn't get off the field on third down,
- 22:13Speaker 1: and that was typically third and short. There weren't a
- 22:15Speaker 1: bunch of third and long, so obviously that's a huge factor.
- 22:18Speaker 1: And when Lamar Jackson had to make a play with
- 22:20Speaker 1: his legs, as he has for six seasons, that's what
- 22:23Speaker 1: he did.
- 22:24Speaker 5: He's incredible. He's a gifted talent. Ravens are now seven
- 22:29Speaker 5: to one against the Bengals when he plays, and they're
- 22:31Speaker 5: row and five when he doesn't.
- 22:33Speaker 1: What does that tell you?
- 22:34Speaker 5: Tells you a lot. I mean, dudes, Gail Stayers with
- 22:37Speaker 5: a throwing arm with the ball in his hands, he's remarkable.
- 22:41Speaker 5: He's got acceleration, he can change speeds, he can you know,
- 22:45Speaker 5: cut violently, he can make you miss, and he can spin.
- 22:48Speaker 5: We've seen him do everything. And like Mike Hilton was
- 22:52Speaker 5: saying when I talked to him after the game, he's
- 22:54Speaker 5: got a better throwing arm to people give him credit for.
- 22:57Speaker 5: You know, he gets the ball down the field. The
- 22:59Speaker 5: deep ball he threw today fifty two yards or whatever,
- 23:02Speaker 5: that was a beautiful ball. Man. He can he can
- 23:04Speaker 5: spin it. There's no doubt he's he's definitely an extremely
- 23:08Speaker 5: talented player.
- 23:09Speaker 1: The Bengals were near the bottom of the NFL in
- 23:12Speaker 1: sacks last year, but their pressure was okay, I think
- 23:15Speaker 1: middle of the pack in pressure. What have you thought
- 23:17Speaker 1: of the pass rush in the first two weeks?
- 23:20Speaker 5: Spotty? You know, like everything. I mean there were moments
- 23:24Speaker 5: where oh yeah, I mean that looks looks pretty good.
- 23:28Speaker 5: I will say though, as a form alignment, and I
- 23:30Speaker 5: never really do even if it's an opponent. Those guys
- 23:35Speaker 5: are the gravviest suckers man.
- 23:36Speaker 1: And the Ravens.
- 23:38Speaker 5: Yeah, the Ravens, well, they're very handsy, they're very gravvy,
- 23:42Speaker 5: but they know how to get away with it. I mean,
- 23:43Speaker 5: it does not get called. It's pretty incredible. You know.
- 23:46Speaker 5: You'll see cloth stretch, you'll see them grab and they
- 23:50Speaker 5: know when to let go and all that good stuff,
- 23:53Speaker 5: you know. And I don't want it to sound like
- 23:55Speaker 5: crying in your milk or whatever because it wasn't called.
- 23:58Speaker 5: It's not called. It's not a penalty. That's what I
- 24:00Speaker 5: looked at it as a former offensive alignment. But there
- 24:04Speaker 5: I took my cap to them. They're talented that way.
- 24:07Speaker 5: I know it's going to be frustrating the defensive lineman,
- 24:09Speaker 5: that's for sure. But finally one get called. I thought
- 24:12Speaker 5: a few of them could have been called, but they weren't.
- 24:15Speaker 1: So for the second straight year, the Bengals have to
- 24:17Speaker 1: try to overcome an zero and two. Start talking to
- 24:20Speaker 1: Chidabayo Wuji after the game, He's like, that was last year,
- 24:23Speaker 1: this is this year. It's different guys. Everything's different. And
- 24:26Speaker 1: you know, obviously they got a lot of the same
- 24:28Speaker 1: guys back, but from year to year, there's no carryover,
- 24:32Speaker 1: is the point he's trying to make. They need to
- 24:34Speaker 1: go out on Monday night next week and win.
- 24:37Speaker 5: There's no doubt. I mean, the circumstances of how they
- 24:40Speaker 5: lost these first two football games are much different than
- 24:43Speaker 5: the circumstances of how they lost the two football games
- 24:47Speaker 5: last year. And it is it's a brand new year.
- 24:51Speaker 6: And you look at it.
- 24:52Speaker 5: Though, and it's like, man, the AFC, gosh, there's like
- 24:57Speaker 5: twelve thirteen of the sixteen teams in the AFC potentially
- 25:01Speaker 5: playoff worthy. So you fall into an oh and two hole.
- 25:04Speaker 5: There could be a lot of teams you have to
- 25:06Speaker 5: jump over, or as last year that may not have
- 25:09Speaker 5: been as many teams to jump over in an H
- 25:11Speaker 5: and two hole as you might have to this year.
- 25:14Speaker 5: So again, I think that's a big difference between this
- 25:17Speaker 5: year and last year as well.
- 25:18Speaker 1: I sure would like to call a win next week.
- 25:21Speaker 5: Man, we need some coffin nails, baby, not to.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Mention a bam bam bam. The Bengals Booth Podcast is

- 25:41Speaker 1: for this week's fun Fact segment, where you get to
- 25:43Speaker 1: know the person under the pads to some fun facts
- 25:48Speaker 1: with wide receiver andre Yosi Vash from Honolulu, Hawaii. I've
- 25:52Speaker 1: read that your dad is of Romanian descent. How did
- 25:55Speaker 1: your family wind up in Hawaii?
- 25:57Speaker 10: After World War Two?
- 25:59Speaker 8: The wall fell, you know, Communism fell, and my dad
- 26:03Speaker 8: need to get out of there, you know, And he
- 26:04Speaker 8: finished college around that same time, and he got a
- 26:08Speaker 8: job opportunity in Japan just off some whim. I think
- 26:12Speaker 8: he knewed one person there who got him a job
- 26:14Speaker 8: and it was like obviously an astronomical amount compared to
- 26:16Speaker 8: what he was making in Romania, so he took it.
- 26:18Speaker 10: A snap of a finger.
- 26:19Speaker 8: And then that's where HI met my mom, who was
- 26:22Speaker 8: who's a Filipino descent, but she was working and studying
- 26:25Speaker 8: in Japan, you know, she was like translating part time,
- 26:28Speaker 8: she was modeling, she was studying, and so she actually
- 26:31Speaker 8: lived in Japan at that point more years than she
- 26:34Speaker 8: had lived in the Philippines, so she was like really
- 26:35Speaker 8: accustomed with Japanese culture. And so they met in Japan
- 26:39Speaker 8: and they had both me and my brother there. So
- 26:42Speaker 8: we moved and we moved out when I was around four,
- 26:45Speaker 8: and so I didn't get my citizenship in the United
- 26:47Speaker 8: States until I was actually like junior in high school.
- 26:50Speaker 8: And then we lived in Hawaii ever since, and then
- 26:53Speaker 8: I moved to New Jersey obviously, which was for me
- 26:55Speaker 8: a big change. And I mean, I'm not sure how
- 26:58Speaker 8: much she wanted me to go after that, but yeah,
- 26:59Speaker 8: I mean after that is Hawaii after Japan, and then
- 27:02Speaker 8: from Japan to New Jersey, then New Jersey to Cincinnati.
- 27:06Speaker 10: So it's been it's been a good ride so far.
- 27:08Speaker 1: What if anything do you miss about island life.
- 27:12Speaker 10: I could say almost everything.
- 27:13Speaker 8: Uh, you know, the weather, the beach, the food, the people,
- 27:18Speaker 8: I mean the people in Cincinnati are similar in essence,
- 27:22Speaker 8: just because it's like a small town vibe. You know,
- 27:24Speaker 8: you walk past people, you smile, you say hello, whereas
- 27:27Speaker 8: like in New Jersey when you're there, or in New
- 27:28Speaker 8: Jersey or New York when you're there for four years,
- 27:29Speaker 8: can you kind of forget that people are like that?
- 27:31Speaker 8: You know, you're walking past people, you're not even looking
- 27:33Speaker 8: at them. You know, it's but it's kind of a
- 27:35Speaker 8: smaller town. So that's kind of like Hawaii in the
- 27:37Speaker 8: same way. But I would say, you know, the thing
- 27:39Speaker 8: that the biggest difference between the mainland and Hawaii is, like,
- 27:41Speaker 8: you know, Hawaii so laid back that it's sometimes hard
- 27:43Speaker 8: to be motivated to do things, whereas on the mainland
- 27:46Speaker 8: things are moving. Even in like a smaller town, smaller city,
- 27:48Speaker 8: things are still moving and going forward, so you can
- 27:51Speaker 8: have the best of both worlds sometimes on the mainland.
- 27:53Speaker 1: We're chatting with Andrea Yosi bosh you went to the
- 27:55Speaker 1: Punaho School in Honolulu or Barack Obama graduate from high
- 28:00Speaker 1: school and played on a state championship high school basketball team.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Is it a point of pride to have gone to
- 28:05Speaker 1: his high school? And have you ever crossed paths with
- 28:08Speaker 1: the former president.
- 28:09Speaker 10: No, I haven't cross paths.
- 28:11Speaker 8: I've had multiple friends who was like, he golf sometimes
- 28:13Speaker 8: in Hawaii and he's been on the West side playing golfer,
- 28:16Speaker 8: but I haven't had the chance or the opportunity to
- 28:17Speaker 8: cross paths with him. But yeah, I mean, it's a
- 28:20Speaker 8: great thing to come from the school that he's come from.
- 28:22Speaker 8: It it's a great academic institution and athletic institution, and
- 28:25Speaker 8: a lot of great minds and athletes come out of
- 28:28Speaker 8: that school, which is one of the reasons why I
- 28:30Speaker 8: went there, because it's like the best of both worlds.
- 28:33Speaker 1: From there, it was on to Princeton. As you noted,
- 28:35Speaker 1: you went to school in New Jersey, roughly five thousand
- 28:38Speaker 1: miles from home.
- 28:39Speaker 8: Why Princeton, Well, you know, my dad was always hard
- 28:43Speaker 8: on me for academics. You know, that's what he grew
- 28:45Speaker 8: up and that's what got him out of the trenches
- 28:48Speaker 8: to go to Japan. And so he knew how much
- 28:50Speaker 8: academics would at least be the base of or like
- 28:52Speaker 8: the foundation of how I would be successful. And so
- 28:56Speaker 8: the goal was always to go to Stanford. But because
- 28:58Speaker 8: they were you know, the perfect mass of sports and education,
- 29:01Speaker 8: which is like a common theme. But I had no offers,
- 29:04Speaker 8: so I had Princeton and Darmouth zero star recruit and
- 29:08Speaker 8: Princeton just made it feel like home. And you know,
- 29:10Speaker 8: you see the opportunities that you get after football with
- 29:13Speaker 8: a lot of the connections and the people that you meet.
- 29:16Speaker 8: So I think it was a no brainer for me
- 29:17Speaker 8: if the NFL didn't pan out for me, that that
- 29:20Speaker 8: would be the perfect spot for me to you know,
- 29:22Speaker 8: branch out in any endeavor.
- 29:23Speaker 10: That I wanted.
- 29:25Speaker 1: What's the biggest misconception about the IVY League.
- 29:28Speaker 8: I think that we don't have good athletes. You know,
- 29:30Speaker 8: people are like, oh, because we don't go to the
- 29:32Speaker 8: FCS playoffs either, so it's not like we can play
- 29:34Speaker 8: North Dakota State, South Dakota State things like that. So
- 29:36Speaker 8: even at that point we are kind of looked down upon.
- 29:39Speaker 8: But people say, oh, you a bunch of yacht dwellers,
- 29:42Speaker 8: you know, all that kind of stuff. But it's like,
- 29:43Speaker 8: you know, to be a person that does football at
- 29:47Speaker 8: a face like Princeton, like you're a true student athlete,
- 29:49Speaker 8: you know, you don't get any benefits. You eat the
- 29:52Speaker 8: same food, you have the same tutors, you have to
- 29:55Speaker 8: go to office hours by yourself, you know, I mean,
- 29:56Speaker 8: it's all you have to do it by yourself. So
- 29:58Speaker 8: I think that if you can make it there and succeed,
- 30:01Speaker 8: I think that's why people like to hire people from
- 30:03Speaker 8: like athletes from Princeton. And also if you make it
- 30:05Speaker 8: to the NFL, it's just a bigger accomplishment just because
- 30:08Speaker 8: people look down on you.
- 30:09Speaker 10: But we have great athletes.
- 30:11Speaker 8: I've seen a number of people that I think can
- 30:13Speaker 8: play or at least try to play in the NFL.
- 30:16Speaker 1: So you weren't all American in two sports, football and track.
- 30:20Speaker 1: People have heard that you participated in the heptathlon, which
- 30:23Speaker 1: is the indoor track version of the dcathlon, and seven
- 30:26Speaker 1: events instead of ten. The Olympics are coming up next
- 30:30Speaker 1: year in Paris. Had you focused on the catalon, do
- 30:34Speaker 1: you think you could have been an Olympian.
- 30:36Speaker 8: I think that I would have definitely been a contender
- 30:39Speaker 8: in the US trials. You know, the US is a
- 30:41Speaker 8: super competitive so basically if you go to the Olympics
- 30:44Speaker 8: from the US, you're always in contention to meddle just
- 30:46Speaker 8: because of the competition that you have here. So I
- 30:48Speaker 8: think I would have definitely tried for the US trials
- 30:50Speaker 8: just to see where I was at. And you know,
- 30:53Speaker 8: when I did the heptathlon, the indoor heptathlon that year,
- 30:57Speaker 8: I was tenth in the world with the score that
- 31:00Speaker 8: I had, So I felt that if I kept pursuing
- 31:02Speaker 8: that I definitely could be in contention to go to
- 31:04Speaker 8: the Olympics.
- 31:05Speaker 1: So one event that the haptathlon and the decathlon have
- 31:08Speaker 1: in common is the pole vault, which amazes me. I
- 31:11Speaker 1: don't know how anybody runs down a path, sticks a
- 31:13Speaker 1: pole in the ground and jumps sixteen feet off the
- 31:15Speaker 1: ground as you did. What's it like when you first
- 31:19Speaker 1: try to do the pole vault?
- 31:21Speaker 8: It's it's chaotic. I mean, the hardest part is just
- 31:24Speaker 8: being kind of confident with your plant because everything comes
- 31:27Speaker 8: from the plant, so if you're even off a little bit,
- 31:29Speaker 8: you're going to fly to the side I had. I
- 31:31Speaker 8: remember one time in college I had a practice where
- 31:33Speaker 8: I literally almost didn't even hit the mat because I
- 31:35Speaker 8: just planted completely wrong, and I flew like my life
- 31:39Speaker 8: flashed before my eyes. But you know, once you get
- 31:41Speaker 8: it's all about confidence, just like any sport. You know,
- 31:43Speaker 8: once you get the reps, you a confident then it's
- 31:45Speaker 8: it's I mean it's obviously takes some athleticism, but it's
- 31:49Speaker 8: just for me, it's just fun.
- 31:51Speaker 1: We're doing fun facts with andre Yosi Vash who are
- 31:53Speaker 1: a six round draft picked by the Bengals. What was
- 31:55Speaker 1: your draft experience.
- 31:56Speaker 8: Like I would say, I mean, I had the impression
- 31:59Speaker 8: that I was go kind of in the mid rounds.
- 32:01Speaker 8: So you know, obviously Day one, I was just watching
- 32:03Speaker 8: to see how many receivers were taking. Day two, I
- 32:07Speaker 8: kind of maybe was expecting a call, and then I thought,
- 32:10Speaker 8: at least if I didn't go on day two or
- 32:11Speaker 8: early day three. But as Day three went, it was
- 32:15Speaker 8: a really long time before my name was called, and
- 32:18Speaker 8: you know, the only people that were talking to me
- 32:20Speaker 8: basically were the Bengals. And then they took Charlie in
- 32:22Speaker 8: the fourth and so after that I kind of couldn't
- 32:25Speaker 8: watch for that much longer because I was getting really anxious,
- 32:28Speaker 8: and like people kind of were seeing that I was
- 32:30Speaker 8: getting anxious, and so you know, they're trying to get
- 32:32Speaker 8: my mind off. We were just tossing the ball in
- 32:33Speaker 8: the backyard for a little bit. I had my phone
- 32:35Speaker 8: on me obviously, but yeah, I was just kind of
- 32:38Speaker 8: anxious the whole time. But once I got that call
- 32:40Speaker 8: and it was from the Bengals, which is the team
- 32:41Speaker 8: that I like, I really wanted to draft me. I
- 32:44Speaker 8: was just so relieved, so happy, and you know, you
- 32:46Speaker 8: always want to make more money going in the earlier rounds,
- 32:48Speaker 8: but you can make up for the money if you
- 32:50Speaker 8: play for a longer time.
- 32:51Speaker 10: So that's that's the goal.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Why did you really want the Bengals to draft you.
- 32:54Speaker 8: Well, they were the only one who took me in
- 32:56Speaker 8: a thirty visits, kind of like Princeton, to be honest,
- 32:57Speaker 8: it's like a similar vibe.
- 32:58Speaker 10: You know, they seem to like, you know a lot.
- 33:00Speaker 8: They were the ones who put the effort to reach
- 33:02Speaker 8: out and ask me to come on a visit. And
- 33:05Speaker 8: I love the receiver room, I love the offense, and
- 33:07Speaker 8: I like the coaches a lot. And that was very
- 33:09Speaker 8: similar to how my process was at Princeton. So it
- 33:12Speaker 8: kind of maybe it was nostalgic. I didn't even realize
- 33:14Speaker 8: it until now. It's to be honest, I'm talking to you.
- 33:16Speaker 1: A few wild card questions now for Andrea Yosi Bosh.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Your last name is spelled iOS I v A s.
- 33:24Speaker 1: What are some of the all time worst mispronunciations of
- 33:27Speaker 1: your last name.
- 33:28Speaker 10: Uh, this is funny story.
- 33:30Speaker 8: Actually, I remember my freshman year of college where I
- 33:33Speaker 8: was like fourth string wide receiver, just a freshman, wide
- 33:36Speaker 8: eyed freshman, and you know, they were calling in the
- 33:38Speaker 8: four strings and then my.
- 33:40Speaker 10: OC goes, I receive this, I receive this. Get in.
- 33:43Speaker 10: I'm like, who, Like, who is he talking to? Like?
- 33:46Speaker 10: Because I was like, who is he talking to? And
- 33:48Speaker 10: he runs up to me that I see this. Get
- 33:50Speaker 10: the f in there. I was like, oh, shoot, he's
- 33:52Speaker 10: talking to me.
- 33:53Speaker 8: So I'll say that's the only time I actually didn't
- 33:55Speaker 8: know if someone was calling my name.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Yeah, ioce this we will avoid. Ioces who would be
- 34:01Speaker 1: the second best heptathlete on the Bengals roster.
- 34:05Speaker 8: That's interesting. I'm thinking t is a great athlete. You know,
- 34:08Speaker 8: Te's strong, fast, athletic, grey hand eye coronation. Chase Brown
- 34:13Speaker 8: might be a good hypt athlete, but I'm not sure
- 34:15Speaker 8: how you far in the pope some pop volt are
- 34:17Speaker 8: He's not sure. But Chase Brown's pretty athletic too, So
- 34:19Speaker 8: I would say maybe those two.
- 34:22Speaker 1: I'm the subject of great athletes. Who is the greatest
- 34:25Speaker 1: athlete of all time in any sport?
- 34:30Speaker 8: People know that I think Messi is the best person.
- 34:33Speaker 8: Like when people compare him Ronaldo to me, I think
- 34:35Speaker 8: it's almost like, don't get me wrong, Ronaldo is a
- 34:37Speaker 8: great athlete, but Messi has won every after this past year,
- 34:40Speaker 8: He's won every big championship in every league that he's
- 34:43Speaker 8: been in, and he just when you watch him, he
- 34:46Speaker 8: just dominates people. Like I'm a Messy fanboy. Like there's
- 34:49Speaker 8: not much people that I found boy over or like
- 34:50Speaker 8: even follow on Instagram. Just athletes wise unless I know them.
- 34:53Speaker 8: But Messi is one of those people.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Did you go see him when he was in town
- 34:56Speaker 1: to take on FC Cincinnati.
- 34:58Speaker 6: I did not.
- 34:58Speaker 10: I wish I was there. Was great, but yeah, I missed.
- 35:01Speaker 6: Out on that.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Final fun fact for andre Yosi Bosh, this one's kind
- 35:05Speaker 1: of deep. If you could meet anybody in history, living
- 35:09Speaker 1: or deceased, athlete, entertainer, statesman, whoever it might be, who
- 35:14Speaker 1: would that person be?
- 35:15Speaker 8: For some reason, the first thing I think of is
- 35:17Speaker 8: like like rulers, Like I'm thinking like Alexander the Great,
- 35:22Speaker 8: or like Cleopatra or someone who is just you know,
- 35:24Speaker 8: els Under the Great was like nineteen years old when
- 35:26Speaker 8: he started to rule the world, which is insane, so
- 35:28Speaker 8: it's like you kind of want to meet someone who's
- 35:30Speaker 8: just so savvy, like there Cleopatrick, Like Egyptians had one
- 35:33Speaker 8: of the greatest kingdoms in all all of time, so
- 35:37Speaker 8: it would that would be interesting. But maybe Jesus, maybe
- 35:40Speaker 8: Jesus too.
- 35:40Speaker 10: Yeah, I'll put tough to you.
- 35:42Speaker 1: We'll have three people at the table for you. This
- 35:45Speaker 1: has been great. Congratulations on a great preseason and best
- 35:49Speaker 1: of luck in the regular season.
- 35:50Speaker 10: Thank you, I appreciate it.
