- 0:02Speaker 1: Two teas in a pod with Teddy Melon can'ts and
- 0:05Speaker 1: camera judge. Hi, Hi, how are you. I'm good. Good
- 0:21Speaker 1: to see you guys. You look beautiful. So you guys
- 0:24Speaker 1: know we're on with Stephanie Hallman, who we have been
- 0:27Speaker 1: missing like crazy, not seeing you on Dallas. You have
- 0:30Speaker 1: such a good heart, which is so you know, it's
- 0:32Speaker 1: so rare for thank you. How are you doing off camera?
- 0:37Speaker 1: I am good. I'm like sixteen days post I had
- 0:41Speaker 1: upper eyelet surgery. I know I follow you on Instagram,
- 0:45Speaker 1: so I saw that I too have had that surgery before.
- 0:47Speaker 1: It's like I wish I would have done it like
- 0:49Speaker 1: two years ago, and it's such a difference. But I am,
- 0:51Speaker 1: I'm good. I feel like everything kind of calms down
- 0:55Speaker 1: when the cameras go down, and you know, life kind
- 0:57Speaker 1: of quiet. So it's been oh hard transition at first,
- 1:01Speaker 1: but like really good. That's what I was going to
- 1:03Speaker 1: ask you. You're talking to two girls that have been
- 1:05Speaker 1: let go in the past, so at least she she
- 1:09Speaker 1: gets to say the show just got let go. I know, yeah,
- 1:13Speaker 1: And I said back then when I was like, oh um,
- 1:16Speaker 1: if they would just cancel, the show would feel so
- 1:18Speaker 1: much better. But does it feel better? It's honestly, it's
- 1:21Speaker 1: gonna sound very selfish, but it does because you don't
- 1:24Speaker 1: feel like something's happening that you kind of you know,
- 1:27Speaker 1: I was there U from the beginning, so I think
- 1:29Speaker 1: it would be hard if it was filming and everything
- 1:32Speaker 1: was happening and you're just kind of talk to the side,
- 1:35Speaker 1: which is how I would have felt to thegether Way. Yeah,
- 1:37Speaker 1: why were there so many us um that you were
- 1:40Speaker 1: going to be attending going attending Bravo con and that
- 1:43Speaker 1: there was going to be a reboot? Like is there
- 1:45Speaker 1: any truth? Was there any of it? That's exactly what
- 1:48Speaker 1: I wrote. Yes, there was zero truth. I don't know.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Sometimes you kind of get caught up in the stories
- 1:53Speaker 1: that people create. Um, so I was. I was like,
- 1:57Speaker 1: I do not want to be a part of this,
- 1:58Speaker 1: Like I don't want people to do you or anyone
- 2:00Speaker 1: to think I'm creating these rumors. There was never so
- 2:02Speaker 1: you were not. I was not Avoc have not been
- 2:06Speaker 1: called for reboot. No, I have not heard anything about
- 2:10Speaker 1: a reboot. I was not called to go to provocond.
- 2:12Speaker 1: It was not at provocn Um. I think sometimes, um,
- 2:16Speaker 1: I don't know if some of the old cast members
- 2:19Speaker 1: kind of tease things to blogs and they just kind
- 2:22Speaker 1: of run with it or if they believe something. But um,
- 2:26Speaker 1: I personally have not heard anything. I think, and I
- 2:29Speaker 1: honestly think if it does come back, I hope. Do
- 2:32Speaker 1: you think there four years down there, you think it
- 2:34Speaker 1: was DeAndre that created the rumors because wasn't she sitting
- 2:36Speaker 1: in the audience at something? She was so she was there,
- 2:39Speaker 1: and I wonder if she told somebody she was going
- 2:41Speaker 1: to be there with her mom and then somehow I
- 2:43Speaker 1: just got drug in to foote with her. I have
- 2:45Speaker 1: no she was there. She paid to be there. No, uh,
- 2:50Speaker 1: um no, she was there. She I mean, I don't
- 2:54Speaker 1: know if they gave if she asked them to give
- 2:56Speaker 1: her a ticket or if she a ticket, but she was.
- 2:59Speaker 1: But I know she was not a paid participant because
- 3:01Speaker 1: if you're paid, Brandy said, because she's been there before,
- 3:04Speaker 1: that you have like a whole uh like you at
- 3:07Speaker 1: least have somebody with you to make sure that you
- 3:09Speaker 1: How is Brandy there? Because the first one is when
- 3:11Speaker 1: they were you guys, Oh that's right. So the first
- 3:14Speaker 1: time that happened, Brandy and Leanne were there. So Brandy
- 3:18Speaker 1: knew from that she was that if you are there
- 3:21Speaker 1: that you do have like security or something, because she
- 3:24Speaker 1: said people would just kind of come up and handler, Yes, yes,
- 3:27Speaker 1: the handler. You're on a panel, yes, yes, So I've
- 3:31Speaker 1: never been there. Um and I would you like it
- 3:34Speaker 1: to come back? Would you go back? Um? It would
- 3:37Speaker 1: depend on the cast, and UM, if it does, I
- 3:40Speaker 1: hope it's a few on the road. To be completely honest,
- 3:43Speaker 1: I think with our show, I think some shows they
- 3:47Speaker 1: are people are really great friends and they get along
- 3:49Speaker 1: and everyone kind of knows that it's an ensemble cast. Um.
- 3:53Speaker 1: And I remember the producers always would get on to
- 3:56Speaker 1: us because they're like, you guys, don't let go of drama.
- 3:58Speaker 1: You hold onto it for years. Um, the same thing,
- 4:00Speaker 1: which the audience doesn't like. And then, uh, it was
- 4:04Speaker 1: never really felt like an ensemble group. It felt like
- 4:06Speaker 1: everybody was trying to get Yeah, it was like every
- 4:10Speaker 1: man for themselves. And I think when it is like that,
- 4:14Speaker 1: it doesn't really register to the audience the way it should.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Season two and three, I felt like we all knew
- 4:19Speaker 1: were there to do a job and it was very
- 4:21Speaker 1: much an ensemble cast. And then especially the last two seasons,
- 4:24Speaker 1: it kind of felt like every man for themselves. So
- 4:26Speaker 1: it wasn't the same feeling, and I think the audience
- 4:29Speaker 1: could sense that. Do you think who do you think
- 4:32Speaker 1: was like the most toxic? We have the same thought.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I can't help, but we can have half a brain together.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Period back done, no longer friends, you know, I don't
- 4:45Speaker 1: you know, Like back in the day, I would have said, oh, Leanne,
- 4:49Speaker 1: she's difficult to film with. However, whenever we lost her
- 4:53Speaker 1: a lot because she was great TV and she knew
- 4:55Speaker 1: she was there for a job and she did her
- 4:56Speaker 1: job and she did a great job. So she became
- 4:59Speaker 1: somebody who I was like, oh, it's gonna be easy
- 5:01Speaker 1: this year too, Like I wish she was back. I
- 5:04Speaker 1: think that she was great TV. She knew what she
- 5:08Speaker 1: was doing, she knew to create good TV. Um, and
- 5:11Speaker 1: sometimes you don't really appreciate it it's gone. Respect and
- 5:15Speaker 1: appreciate it until they are gone. That's why I'm back,
- 5:22Speaker 1: even Lisa. I don't want to hear any ship from anybody,
- 5:25Speaker 1: none of you bloggers, none of your fans. You're gonna
- 5:28Speaker 1: be hearing ship about him whatever. I'm not gonna let
- 5:32Speaker 1: it slide. Um. I know I agree with you the
- 5:34Speaker 1: Lisa Reno stuff, like people are thinking, oh, we want
- 5:36Speaker 1: her gone, we want her gone, and then all of
- 5:38Speaker 1: a sudden, when no one's willing to bring something up,
- 5:40Speaker 1: they're gonna be like ship people, she will be back
- 5:45Speaker 1: maybe if she was, but I don't know, you guys.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I was texting with her yesterday. I just was like,
- 5:51Speaker 1: how are you doing? And She's like, I actually feel amazing. Yeah,
- 5:54Speaker 1: I can go do whatever I want. I can, you know,
- 5:58Speaker 1: I can be here in a moment, no what, I
- 6:00Speaker 1: feel free and you forget like you I know, but
- 6:04Speaker 1: I felt like that the second year. The first year
- 6:06Speaker 1: I was still in shock and I'm like, Ship, I
- 6:09Speaker 1: just got fired. The second year was like, oh my god,
- 6:12Speaker 1: it's so nice to be able to just have freedom
- 6:14Speaker 1: and not have to be glad all the time and
- 6:15Speaker 1: not do all those things and not argue no. It
- 6:18Speaker 1: definitely tack about six months, um for it to really
- 6:22Speaker 1: sink in, because it's strange, but I mean, you were
- 6:25Speaker 1: on for much longer than I was camera, but you
- 6:27Speaker 1: kind of your identity kind of becomes that show, right
- 6:30Speaker 1: for sure? Um, And then it's like who am I
- 6:32Speaker 1: if I'm not Stephanie Holman on Housewives of Dallas and
- 6:36Speaker 1: so it did take a while. Um, it takes just
- 6:39Speaker 1: wrap your head around it. It really doesn't take six
- 6:41Speaker 1: months to be like, Okay, it's over, it's done. But
- 6:45Speaker 1: the problem is everywhere you go people ask you about housewives.
- 6:50Speaker 1: How your d m s on Instagram are about housewives.
- 6:52Speaker 1: So even if you're not off, you're still talking about
- 6:54Speaker 1: you're still thinking about. There wasn't a day that didn't
- 6:56Speaker 1: go by that Housewives didn't enter my mind. And I'm
- 6:59Speaker 1: sure the same way. Oh yeah, everyone you go, people
- 7:02Speaker 1: are asking you about is it is it coming back?
- 7:03Speaker 1: Is it not going back? You know, first get started,
- 7:07Speaker 1: like the you know, Rambo con reboot just kind of
- 7:11Speaker 1: it was almost a little jarring because out the flood
- 7:14Speaker 1: of everybody comes back into your life and they're all
- 7:16Speaker 1: messaging you and um, and there's no truth to it. Um.
- 7:20Speaker 1: So yeah, it's it's tough. It's tough. It's kind of
- 7:22Speaker 1: hard to move on. Do you feel like one of
- 7:25Speaker 1: the hardest things also is the crew that was with
- 7:27Speaker 1: you for so many years in your house. You made relationships,
- 7:31Speaker 1: friendships with them. Now they're gone, yeah, and they're gone, yeah,
- 7:36Speaker 1: and you don't see I mean sometimes they'll like, you know,
- 7:39Speaker 1: post on You'll they'll write a little something on your
- 7:41Speaker 1: social media, but you'll message them. But that's I think
- 7:44Speaker 1: also hard because you become really realized it was their
- 7:47Speaker 1: job to talk to you. Yeah right, you're like day
- 7:50Speaker 1: and you don't take this for free. I get fired.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Now you're like, hello, hello everybody out there. Yeah. Do
- 8:05Speaker 1: you think if it were to come back, that Brandy
- 8:07Speaker 1: would come back as well? I don't know. She's we've
- 8:12Speaker 1: talked about it before. She was She's like I she
- 8:15Speaker 1: always says, it's like she's just such an entertainer. She
- 8:17Speaker 1: was a cheerleader Dallas Chili cheerleader before, and I think
- 8:20Speaker 1: she just likes to perform and entertain. So she's like,
- 8:22Speaker 1: it's hard for me not to go on and do
- 8:24Speaker 1: everything they asked me to do because that's just my nature.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Um So I think maybe a few years down the
- 8:31Speaker 1: road she may, But if they asked her today, I
- 8:33Speaker 1: honestly don't think she would. I think she's her life
- 8:36Speaker 1: is a little too busy with the kids, and I
- 8:39Speaker 1: don't know if she could honestly fit it in she
- 8:41Speaker 1: could juggle it. And then, um, if you could say
- 8:45Speaker 1: if you had the choice if you were in charge
- 8:47Speaker 1: of casting, who would be the one person You're like,
- 8:49Speaker 1: you know what, I don't want to film with this person?
- 8:52Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, Um, I mean I don't really. I mean,
- 8:55Speaker 1: there was nobody on our cast that I just truly hate,
- 8:57Speaker 1: Like I would have back in the day againsted Leanne,
- 9:00Speaker 1: and today I would say she's the one person I
- 9:01Speaker 1: would want on there, like so it completely changed. But
- 9:04Speaker 1: I'm I'm friendly with everybody, So there's nobody that I
- 9:08Speaker 1: could not stand. I don't. But we weren't on for
- 9:11Speaker 1: very long. We were only on for five years, so
- 9:13Speaker 1: I didn't really have that that's enough time to get
- 9:15Speaker 1: Piste off by. That's enough time to hold a graudge
- 9:17Speaker 1: in my book today, which we really didn't have a
- 9:20Speaker 1: lot of cash changes during that time. I mean I
- 9:23Speaker 1: feel like, no, you didn't. We didn't have enough to
- 9:25Speaker 1: where you just are like, oh my gosh, I can't
- 9:27Speaker 1: stand this to you still talk to everybody that was
- 9:29Speaker 1: on your cast, Um, if you like, we'll run into
- 9:32Speaker 1: each other and then always say hi and are very cordial.
- 9:36Speaker 1: But I don't. I'm not calling a lot of the
- 9:38Speaker 1: people I call. I talked to Brandy a lot um.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I talked to Carry Bradingham some um all the time.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Carrie Dooper, I see her all the time where we
- 9:50Speaker 1: have a lot of mutual friends who are always at parties.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Um So, I'm friendly with everybody. DeAndre occasionally I'll see her.
- 9:57Speaker 1: We have the same extension, lady, I don't have extensions
- 9:59Speaker 1: and right now, but sometimes we'll cross pads um. But
- 10:03Speaker 1: it's not like before that. I had a group of
- 10:06Speaker 1: pore girlfriends, and I still kind of hang out with
- 10:08Speaker 1: those people. So I have a bond with the girls
- 10:11Speaker 1: in the show, but I pretty much hang out with
- 10:14Speaker 1: the core group of girls that I've known for a
- 10:17Speaker 1: long time. Do you still watch Housewives? I watched, Yeah.
- 10:21Speaker 1: I watched Beverly Hills last year because I wanted to
- 10:24Speaker 1: see like all the drama happening there. This year, I'm
- 10:28Speaker 1: honestly only watching UM. Miami as of right now. Is
- 10:33Speaker 1: so good, so good? Who's your favorite? I mean, I
- 10:38Speaker 1: have it just a really soft spot right now for Lisa.
- 10:40Speaker 1: I just go for sure for her. Um So, I
- 10:44Speaker 1: think she's I think she's making really great TV. I
- 10:47Speaker 1: feel horrible for her, though I'm trying to think. I
- 10:50Speaker 1: think their whole cast is really really good, Adriana. That's
- 10:53Speaker 1: a really strong podcast for sure. Um did Carrie Duber's
- 10:57Speaker 1: husband do your eyes? No? He did not. He did
- 11:00Speaker 1: not know, Gerry. I have a really hard time with
- 11:04Speaker 1: recovering on surgery, and I never want to do surgery
- 11:08Speaker 1: with somebody who I love and then it messed up
- 11:10Speaker 1: and then it ruined our friendship so hard. Just had
- 11:12Speaker 1: an oocular certain h like hard time surgery, like, um,
- 11:16Speaker 1: like I get kyloid scars really bad, like I just
- 11:19Speaker 1: I've had recovery. Yeah, I thought ivory issues. Um, and
- 11:24Speaker 1: I never I always like to do things with people
- 11:27Speaker 1: that I don't know. So if they must say it's
- 11:29Speaker 1: hard to do with friends, it is. And I used
- 11:32Speaker 1: to say that in real estate because it's like if
- 11:35Speaker 1: you do something I don't like or it's just it
- 11:37Speaker 1: can really ruin a friendship and surgery. Yes, so I
- 11:40Speaker 1: just used like a just an ocular, surgeristic guy that
- 11:44Speaker 1: only does ice O. Well, thank you. I love that
- 11:49Speaker 1: you were open and honest about it. I was the
- 11:51Speaker 1: same with my necklift. Tam is the same. But I
- 11:53Speaker 1: think it's just important so that people know, like we
- 11:57Speaker 1: all have things that we want to change, and if
- 11:59Speaker 1: you have the ability to change it. It's okay. And
- 12:01Speaker 1: if you want to talk about it, talk about it.
- 12:03Speaker 1: If you don't, you don't like, But I do think
- 12:05Speaker 1: it makes us all feel like okay, especially now that
- 12:09Speaker 1: there's the face app filter, like speaking of leanne oh
- 12:14Speaker 1: the face up. Yes, like I let's go easy on
- 12:18Speaker 1: the facetap. She doesn't need to go to a five
- 12:22Speaker 1: on the face app and so beautiful yes, like she
- 12:28Speaker 1: does not need it. She's actually she's gorgeous in person. UM,
- 12:34Speaker 1: are you still doing a weekly dose of BS with Brandy? Yeah?
- 12:38Speaker 1: We are. We are still doing that UM, and it's
- 12:40Speaker 1: just fun. It's like the one time a week where
- 12:42Speaker 1: we actually get to see each other and hang out
- 12:44Speaker 1: because we live about thirty minutes away, so we don't
- 12:48Speaker 1: live close enough to our together all the time. So
- 12:50Speaker 1: we're still doing that. I think it's been like four
- 12:52Speaker 1: or five years. Wow. Do you feel a studio? Are
- 12:55Speaker 1: you still filming? We do? We have UM so we
- 12:58Speaker 1: actually filmed at the studio as a local radio station
- 13:02Speaker 1: and UM Network, who we are with UM owns the
- 13:06Speaker 1: radio station as well as we filmed there. It's easy, UM.
- 13:09Speaker 1: We just all kind of drive in and meet there.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Like once a week. Um, would you do Girls Trip?
- 13:18Speaker 1: I mean, I cannot see myself being asked new Girls
- 13:20Speaker 1: Trip because I'm not very I'm not really good drama. However,
- 13:25Speaker 1: I would do it if it was you could pick
- 13:28Speaker 1: who would be your dreamcast? You know, I think Sonia
- 13:32Speaker 1: is super funny. I like her. Um. I I'm trying
- 13:35Speaker 1: to think I would. I would honestly pick Um Sonya.
- 13:39Speaker 1: I picked Leanne because she she's dramatic, Um, and I
- 13:43Speaker 1: would pick Um. I think Kyle Richards is lovely. Tamara.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I'd want you there because I know you. I would
- 13:52Speaker 1: just want people that are funny, one dramatic person and
- 13:54Speaker 1: people that I know. I wanted to be a little comfortable. Yeah,
- 13:57Speaker 1: what else is going on in your life? I mean,
- 14:00Speaker 1: honestly not. I mean that's some sad part. Not much.
- 14:02Speaker 1: I'm just we're building a home in Montana. It's it's
- 14:06Speaker 1: like halfway through. It's on a ski mountain, so whenever
- 14:10Speaker 1: it's snowing, they're just sitting there in Montana, so it
- 14:12Speaker 1: snows all the time, so they're constantly just setting on
- 14:15Speaker 1: the project. Um. And then my son is thirteen. He's
- 14:19Speaker 1: had two girlfriends, which is super weird. So far in
- 14:21Speaker 1: his thirteen years um and then my other son's eleventh,
- 14:25Speaker 1: he hasn't really gotten into girls. But it's fun to
- 14:27Speaker 1: be a mom when they start dating and to see
- 14:30Speaker 1: who your child kind of chooses to date and what
- 14:32Speaker 1: they're like. Well, you know what's really hard is when
- 14:34Speaker 1: they break up. When you get to know them and
- 14:36Speaker 1: then they wreak up. It sucks because you're like, wait,
- 14:39Speaker 1: I really like that one. No, I see if he's
- 14:43Speaker 1: I've entured, if he's introduced me to one girl like
- 14:45Speaker 1: one time, and then they broke up like two weeks later,
- 14:47Speaker 1: so it's very short. Well, he's still young, so when
- 14:50Speaker 1: he's still to like high season in high school yet, oh,
- 14:54Speaker 1: seventh grade, that's when the high school sweetheart break up.
- 14:59Speaker 1: That's hard too, because I they go through breakup. I
- 15:00Speaker 1: remember whenever I was younger, my mom would gets so
- 15:03Speaker 1: mad at the boys whenever we were went through breakups
- 15:05Speaker 1: because it's devastating, you know. But boys have it easy now.
- 15:09Speaker 1: The fact that the girls have to ask to like
- 15:12Speaker 1: all of these things have changed, like the girls doing
- 15:15Speaker 1: the invites and this and that. I'm like, what happened
- 15:17Speaker 1: to do? Somebody left a note in your locker with
- 15:19Speaker 1: like the bagel, or to Molly's. I mean even Crais,
- 15:23Speaker 1: my eleven year old he came. He always is in
- 15:26Speaker 1: the drama, like all the gossip, and he was like
- 15:28Speaker 1: mom on Valentine's this kid brought like a dozen roses
- 15:31Speaker 1: of school. I was going to ask this other eleven
- 15:33Speaker 1: year girl year old girl out, and I'm like, you
- 15:34Speaker 1: guys are way too young to be doing this whole
- 15:39Speaker 1: like dating thing. It's so weird. It's because of like
- 15:41Speaker 1: social media. I think they see it on talk or
- 15:45Speaker 1: the big gestures of love from eleven year olds beyond well,
- 15:50Speaker 1: we're missing you on our TV screens. Yeah, definitely one
- 15:54Speaker 1: of like those housewives that every time you we see
- 15:57Speaker 1: anything on social media with you, you can just tell
- 15:59Speaker 1: that you're being authentically who you are. You're just lovely
- 16:02Speaker 1: and kind and um. Every time you leave the myself
- 16:06Speaker 1: like she's so nice, Like you are so sweet? Do
- 16:09Speaker 1: you ever get mad? Yeah? And my husband all the time, Yeah,
- 16:13Speaker 1: all the time. Daily show show me your mad face.
- 16:17Speaker 1: I don't think you have one. I mean, you know,
- 16:20Speaker 1: I can't. She's like, you have to be Travis for
- 16:24Speaker 1: me to but I would say I would I don't know.
- 16:27Speaker 1: I really cannot, like my try to get botox or
