- 0:51Speaker 1: Coming to you live from deep within a fractures and
- 0:58Speaker 1: finger wagging radioactive wasteland. We are the survivors of the
- 1:02Speaker 1: alt right keck Apocalypse, the few, the brave, the bitchy,
- 1:06Speaker 1: once more wading into battle against the froggy zombie hordes
- 1:12Speaker 1: with rant Zurker number. Help me out here, Brian rant
- 1:18Speaker 1: Zirker to forty one. How women's finger wagging destroyed Canada?
- 1:26Speaker 1: I am your host, Alison, and with me today is Karen.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Mostly Karen looks like Brian's just gonna be going in
- 1:33Speaker 1: the background. Maybe he'll he'll pipe up if we say
- 1:35Speaker 1: anything particularly egregious that he wants to correct. But yes,
- 1:40Speaker 1: we're going to be discussing the election results and the
- 1:43Speaker 1: recent meeting between Carney and that is Mark Carney and
- 1:47Speaker 1: Donald Trump. So if you guys don't know, because a
- 1:50Speaker 1: lot of you are Americans, Carney is the individual that
- 1:53Speaker 1: Canadians voted to usher us into this this new era
- 1:59Speaker 1: of trades.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Phase four of decline.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Yeah, phase four of decline. And I wanted to go
- 2:07Speaker 1: through because I was thinking I watched this whole thing
- 2:10Speaker 1: play out and it with with utter astonishment, well not astonishment,
- 2:15Speaker 1: but what is the what is the feeling of disappointment
- 2:19Speaker 1: and also surprise at it got worse, you know, and
- 2:24Speaker 1: and but but not really that surprised, just like I'm shocked,
- 2:28Speaker 1: but not really that shocked, that kind of thing.
- 2:30Speaker 2: But I just no, no, it's it's basically, uh, the
- 2:35Speaker 2: my thesis is voters in Canada are retards.
- 2:44Speaker 1: That That's a good point before we get into it,
- 2:46Speaker 1: because Karen has A has laid out her thesis and
- 2:50Speaker 1: I'm going to lay out my thesis on what happened.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I want to remind everyone that they can go to
- 2:55Speaker 1: feed the Badger dot com slash just the tip to
- 2:58Speaker 1: send us a message, very best way to send us
- 2:59Speaker 1: a mess and give us a tip, because we get
- 3:01Speaker 1: the full benefit of whatever funds you send, or at
- 3:04Speaker 1: least the fees are lower end. You get the full
- 3:07Speaker 1: benefit of not sending your comments through YouTube's comment enhancement systems.
- 3:11Speaker 1: So once again, feed Thebadger dot com slash just the tip,
- 3:13Speaker 1: And if you want to support the show, because we
- 3:15Speaker 1: have a very unique voice, which I'm realizing is becoming
- 3:18Speaker 1: more unique by the day, you can go to feed
- 3:20Speaker 1: the Badger dot com slash support to help us out.
- 3:24Speaker 1: All right, So when I First, the first thing that
- 3:30Speaker 1: we were all in Canada looking forward to a prime
- 3:36Speaker 1: minister who is going to address some of the economic
- 3:39Speaker 1: issues that we're facing and also start to build up
- 3:42Speaker 1: our resources, our resource base, which is, you know, our
- 3:46Speaker 1: income base in Canada. And then over the last three
- 3:50Speaker 1: months we saw those hopes completely dashed. And honestly, this
- 3:56Speaker 1: is this is my interpretation of what happened. I think
- 4:00Speaker 1: Carney is a con artist.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Oh you think so? Yeah, the name didn't tip you off.
- 4:06Speaker 2: He's a carneye. He never gives you the stuffed animal,
- 4:09Speaker 2: no matter how many times you get the freaking thing
- 4:12Speaker 2: near the hoop.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, But there's a very specific type of con
- 4:16Speaker 1: that I think he played. Now. I don't know if
- 4:19Speaker 1: Donald Trump was in on the con. If he was,
- 4:22Speaker 1: I can't blame him because if it's there for the taking.
- 4:27Speaker 1: And honestly, at this point in time, whatever happens to Canada,
- 4:31Speaker 1: I think we deserve it.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Well yeah, because we're fucking retards, that's why.
- 4:39Speaker 1: But what happened was this is like a classic con.
- 4:43Speaker 1: The remember Road to El Dorado, and they were about
- 4:46Speaker 1: to be Miguel and Tulio were about to be captured
- 4:50Speaker 1: by the guards and they started a fight in order
- 4:54Speaker 1: to distract them and then attack.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Also also like in Rocket Robin Hood and also in
- 4:59Speaker 2: like Star Trek the original series, and like every other Yeah.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Yeah, like the thing is that this is This is
- 5:08Speaker 1: my thesis, I think. And again, I don't know if
- 5:10Speaker 1: Donald was all the way in on it, or President
- 5:14Speaker 1: Trump was all the way in on it, or he
- 5:16Speaker 1: just took advantage of the stupidity of the Canadian voter.
- 5:19Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no, no, no no. I think Trump
- 5:27Speaker 2: was being honest. Okay, I think he genuinely preferred Carney.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I agree, I think he did generate.
- 5:35Speaker 2: And he said he preferred Carney, which should have made
- 5:40Speaker 2: all the TBS adult fucking boomers in this country who
- 5:45Speaker 2: wanted to who's most freaking important reason.
- 5:49Speaker 1: For voting right was to stick it to Trump?
- 5:53Speaker 2: Was to stick it to Trump should have made them
- 5:55Speaker 2: vote for Paul.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, yeah, But.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Unfortunately, unfortunately TVs destroys the logic centers of your brain.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Well, okay, and I'm gonna I'm gonna go through my
- 6:09Speaker 1: thesis the why that happened, because I remember I saw
- 6:12Speaker 1: a comment and you said, well, Trump endorsed Carney so
- 6:16Speaker 1: why why why is are people thinking that he is
- 6:19Speaker 1: the anti Trump option, which he isn't. By the way,
- 6:22Speaker 1: he isn't. Poliev was this is? This is I think
- 6:26Speaker 1: this is the reasoning, and that's why I called why
- 6:28Speaker 1: I called it, uh women's finger wagging destroyed Canada. The
- 6:33Speaker 1: reason why they went for for for Mark Karney is
- 6:36Speaker 1: not because he's the best person to oppose Trump. It's
- 6:40Speaker 1: because he's apparently the least like Trump. But he's the
- 6:44Speaker 1: least like Trump because he's Trump's bitch.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Yeah, he's least if you want it, Okay, okay, So
- 6:53Speaker 2: how about this. You have a prize fighter in the ring.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Who are you gonna put up against it? Another prize
- 7:00Speaker 2: or like a fucking Las Vegas showgirl.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Well that's the point. They chose the last Vegas showgirl
- 7:06Speaker 1: because he was the least like Trump. He's the least
- 7:09Speaker 1: like Trump because he has no loyalty to his nation.
- 7:12Speaker 1: I think whether or not Trump is going to improve everything,
- 7:16Speaker 1: I think that there is no doubt that he is
- 7:19Speaker 1: a loyal to the US, right, I don't know what.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Loyal to New York, even after what New York did
- 7:26Speaker 2: to him.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Okay, so he is loyal and that's something that the
- 7:30Speaker 1: people on the left call him out for because he's nationalistic, right,
- 7:34Speaker 1: that means loyal to his nation. Okay, Carney isn't. Carney's
- 7:40Speaker 1: there to get the best deal for himself. Carney's there
- 7:43Speaker 1: to enrich his own companies and gloss tell Canada to
- 7:48Speaker 1: the highest bidder.
- 7:49Speaker 2: He's a globalist with a net zero agenda. He's a
- 7:53Speaker 2: net zero zealot, right and and he uh, he's he's
- 8:00Speaker 2: just abs and I mean he's been laying the groundwork
- 8:04Speaker 2: of all of his investments in all of these different
- 8:07Speaker 2: companies through Brookfield Asset Management and others right into uh basically, Uh,
- 8:16Speaker 2: he's bought into a bunch of companies that are poised
- 8:21Speaker 2: to sell carbon credits if and when he introduces a
- 8:24Speaker 2: carbon credit scheme in Canada. Uh, He's he's bought into
- 8:31Speaker 2: Modulaire Group, which is modular tiny homes, right, which is
- 8:36Speaker 2: trailer park two point zero. Uh. Keep the pores on
- 8:41Speaker 2: the outskirts, maybe maybe give them a bug Burger joint
- 8:45Speaker 2: within walking distance, right, but don't let them anywhere near
- 8:49Speaker 2: the decent people. And uh and yeah, no, so he's
- 8:54Speaker 2: and that's going to be subsidized by taxpayer money that
- 8:58Speaker 2: that kind of ooh, this is the affores housing option
- 9:01Speaker 2: that we're going for, is trailer parking half the population,
- 9:06Speaker 2: right who don't have the money to be able to
- 9:09Speaker 2: afford something decent and uh and keep them out of
- 9:13Speaker 2: sight and out of our way and uh and oh
- 9:18Speaker 2: but yeah, taxpayers are going to subsidize that, and therefore
- 9:22Speaker 2: that company is going to make a ton of money. Right,
- 9:24Speaker 2: So it's like he's poised to make a ton of money.
- 9:28Speaker 2: I'm not one percent sure about whether he's sincere about
- 9:33Speaker 2: net zero, whether he's really sincere about it, or whether
- 9:36Speaker 2: it's his wife or.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Or whether it's his companies that just you know, well, he's.
- 9:42Speaker 2: All in on ESG. He's all in on net zero.
- 9:45Speaker 2: He's all in on you know. But he he is
- 9:48Speaker 2: a con man because he was like, I'm going to
- 9:50Speaker 2: stand up to Trump, right, and then it's like yeah,
- 9:54Speaker 2: and then then then it happened, and and but I'm
- 9:59Speaker 2: I'm not complaint that this shit happened, okay, because this
- 10:03Speaker 2: shit was gonna happen if it was pauliev Right. Let's
- 10:07Speaker 2: face it, we have one tenth the population in less
- 10:11Speaker 2: than one tenth the GDP of the US. We are
- 10:14Speaker 2: in no position to like come in swing it. Okay,
- 10:20Speaker 2: We're just not This was going to happen regardless. But
- 10:23Speaker 2: he tricked people into voting for him, yes, by saying
- 10:28Speaker 2: he was going to stick it to Trump. And and
- 10:32Speaker 2: I'm just like, what I know with what yeah, no,
- 10:37Speaker 2: with your feeble little girl fists, and and I'm I'm
- 10:41Speaker 2: just like, what's infuriating is okay? Because like people need
- 10:47Speaker 2: to realize, this election season in Canada is not like
- 10:50Speaker 2: election season in the US. Right, we knew that there
- 10:54Speaker 2: was an election coming, come hell or high water in
- 10:58Speaker 2: September of this year, right, if it had to be
- 11:03Speaker 2: in September of this year, because you can only serve
- 11:05Speaker 2: four years as in as the party in power. There's
- 11:11Speaker 2: only four year mandates here, and so there was going
- 11:16Speaker 2: to be an election and in September. But you can
- 11:22Speaker 2: call an election sooner, okay. And you can do that
- 11:25Speaker 2: one of two ways. The Prime Minister can call a
- 11:27Speaker 2: snap election. He can just do it unilaterally. He can
- 11:31Speaker 2: say I'm calling a snap election, or there can be
- 11:35Speaker 2: a motion of no confidence by the other parties in Parliament.
- 11:38Speaker 2: And if that's a majority of people who vote no
- 11:41Speaker 2: confidence in the government, then a snap election is called.
- 11:45Speaker 2: And when a snap election is called, the election has
- 11:48Speaker 2: to be held thirty one to thirty seven to fifty
- 11:52Speaker 2: one days from the date the election was called. Now,
- 11:57Speaker 2: Carney got elected Lee, he was very quickly sworn in
- 12:03Speaker 2: as Prime minister. He got elected leader of the Liberal Party,
- 12:07Speaker 2: was very quickly sworn in his prime minister, and he
- 12:12Speaker 2: called a snap election unilaterally set for thirty seven days. Okay,
- 12:19Speaker 2: so the shortest possible time. Okay. And this is not
- 12:23Speaker 2: a guy that people knew before he ran for the
- 12:26Speaker 2: leadership of the Liberal Party. Right, you're sure. He was
- 12:30Speaker 2: the governor of the Bank of Canada. Can you name
- 12:32Speaker 2: the governor of the Bank Canada Allison? No, Okay, he
- 12:36Speaker 2: was governor of the Bank of Canada back in twenty thirteen. Okay.
- 12:41Speaker 2: He was governor of the Bank of England. Can you
- 12:43Speaker 2: name the governor of the Bank of England.
- 12:46Speaker 1: I'm afraid I can't.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Yeah, well, so he was. He was governor of the
- 12:50Speaker 2: Bank of England for five years leading up to twenty twenty. Okay,
- 12:56Speaker 2: so you can't, you can't. Nobody knows who this guy is, right, Like,
- 13:01Speaker 2: he's not a name in politics, He's I don't even
- 13:05Speaker 2: think I've seen him interviewed as an economic expert on
- 13:11Speaker 2: any freaking media anywhere, Okay, And so like people did
- 13:19Speaker 2: not know him, they do not know him, okay. And
- 13:25Speaker 2: he only gave them thirty seven days to get to
- 13:27Speaker 2: know him. And I think if they'd had more than
- 13:29Speaker 2: thirty seven days to get to know him, and we
- 13:32Speaker 2: had an incredible because we had early voting one week
- 13:37Speaker 2: prior to the election date on April twenty eight, and
- 13:43Speaker 2: a record seven point three million Canadians voted during early voting, right,
- 13:50Speaker 2: So he really only gave them a month to get
- 13:55Speaker 2: to know who he was, and it wasn't long enough
- 13:59Speaker 2: for anybody to peel through those the layers of that
- 14:03Speaker 2: onion to find that the black patch of rot at
- 14:08Speaker 2: the center, which is what it is, right. And he
- 14:12Speaker 2: he is connected to Trump, right, So yeah, I mean
- 14:16Speaker 2: he and Trump know each other. Uh, they've known each
- 14:20Speaker 2: other for ten years.
- 14:22Speaker 1: He bailed out Trump's son in law.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Yeah, he bailed out Jared Yeah, one point two billion
- 14:30Speaker 2: in katar and money, uh to bail out the Kushner companies.
- 14:36Speaker 4: And so it's like, yeah, well, the point that what
- 14:43Speaker 4: I wanted to say is how he created this con
- 14:48Speaker 4: right and what he appealed to because he appealed to
- 14:50Speaker 4: a very specific demographic, right, it was boomer women who
- 14:55Speaker 4: ended up putting him in power.
- 14:58Speaker 1: So women, I leave sixty five and up? Is that
- 15:02Speaker 1: the is that the qualification there?
- 15:04Speaker 2: It's at sixty and up enough. Well, I don't know
- 15:09Speaker 2: whether that's the boomer generation, but that was how the
- 15:12Speaker 2: demographics were broken down, if I recall.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Yeah, and and it wasn't all it wasn't all boomers.
- 15:19Speaker 1: It was uh no, generation Generation X went overwhelmingly for
- 15:25Speaker 1: for Poliev.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, anybody who's actually trying to build a life.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Yeah, or trying to preserve a life or preserve life
- 15:33Speaker 1: for their kids.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Yeah. No, you're you're trying to build a life, you know,
- 15:37Speaker 2: like Generation X millennials. Okay, uh, they they are looking
- 15:45Speaker 2: at millennials in particular, right, Generation X is me and
- 15:48Speaker 2: I have kids, and it's like, uh, yeah, no, I
- 15:57Speaker 2: wanted Polyiev because I want a future for my kids.
- 16:00Speaker 2: I don't want another one hundred and thirty billion dollars
- 16:05Speaker 2: added to of spending, added over and above what true
- 16:09Speaker 2: Dau was going to spend, which was over and above
- 16:12Speaker 2: what Trudeau spent last year. Okay, I did not want that.
- 16:18Speaker 2: We are now at for every voter voter in Canada,
- 16:22Speaker 2: every citizen in Canada, every voter eligible voter in Canada,
- 16:26Speaker 2: Like there's one hundred and twenty thousand dollars worth of
- 16:28Speaker 2: debt for every household. And so you're looking at you
- 16:35Speaker 2: have like gen Z, are you fucking retards?
- 16:39Speaker 1: Well, gen Z, yeah, Well it's millennials and gen x
- 16:45Speaker 1: who really Yeah, but gen Z, I don't know what
- 16:48Speaker 1: they want. I guess they don't want a future, honestly.
- 16:51Speaker 2: I don't. Honestly, I don't know whether they're thinking about
- 16:54Speaker 2: it yet, right, or maybe they're just so nihilistic that
- 16:57Speaker 2: they know that there isn't one coming no matter what
- 16:59Speaker 2: they do, right. But but it's like millennials and in
- 17:03Speaker 2: particular looking to start a family right, looking to buy
- 17:07Speaker 2: a home. Uh and gen xers who are anticipating grandkids.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Mm hmm yep.
- 17:17Speaker 2: And the boomers. If you look at the issues the
- 17:20Speaker 2: boomers thought were like the most important, Okay, sticking it
- 17:25Speaker 2: to Trump was the top issue, Okay, Then it was
- 17:30Speaker 2: housing affordability, and after that it was expanding healthcare. Oh,
- 17:37Speaker 2: big surprise, you're the primary consumers of healthcare in this country.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Of course, you want more free shit, you know. So
- 17:45Speaker 2: it's just like, yeah, no, give me the give me
- 17:48Speaker 2: the gibbs, and fuck the future. I won't be here
- 17:51Speaker 2: long enough to see it all come crashing down.
- 17:55Speaker 1: So who cares. Let's just hand the bag to the
- 17:57Speaker 1: next generation.
- 17:58Speaker 2: My mom, my mom, literally, she said, are these people retards?
- 18:02Speaker 2: Don't they care about their kids?
- 18:06Speaker 1: Well, they made it by their bootstraps so that other
- 18:08Speaker 1: kids can do the same.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, she made They made it by their bootstraps, right, Okay, sure,
- 18:14Speaker 2: yeah in an era where you could have one blue
- 18:18Speaker 2: collar worker worker supporting an entire family.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Yeah, in the house they own, with a car they own. Yep.
- 18:27Speaker 1: But I think it actually goes beyond just the gibbs.
- 18:30Speaker 1: I think that Carne presented a like every good con artist,
- 18:35Speaker 1: he played on people's emotions. And this is something that
- 18:38Speaker 1: I spoke with like Brian on Monday. The more we
- 18:43Speaker 1: bring in this hysteria to these elections, like when when
- 18:47Speaker 1: we're when we're voting for a prime minister, we're voting
- 18:50Speaker 1: for a president. We're not voting for God, a king, Satan.
- 18:55Speaker 1: We're voting for the best pit mechanic, you know, and
- 18:59Speaker 1: to to basically fix or or at least maintain the system. Yeah,
- 19:04Speaker 1: we're not We're not voting for a savior. We're voting
- 19:07Speaker 1: for a pit mechanic. And it feels like it's getting
- 19:10Speaker 1: more and more hysterical, the like the narrative around this
- 19:15Speaker 1: this and the difference is that I think a lot
- 19:18Speaker 1: of men look at it in terms of that kind
- 19:21Speaker 1: of logical rational it's a pit mechanic, right, and a
- 19:25Speaker 1: lot of women look at it more as it's a savior,
- 19:27Speaker 1: it's a king, it's a you know that kind of thing,
- 19:30Speaker 1: or it's it's Hitler Satan, you know. And I think
- 19:34Speaker 1: that this is one of the things that really really
- 19:38Speaker 1: distorted the election in Canada, and because I was watching
- 19:43Speaker 1: this and all of those things went to the wayside. Yeah,
- 19:46Speaker 1: they were concerned about healthcare and all of this other stuff,
- 19:49Speaker 1: but it all went to the wayside in favor of
- 19:52Speaker 1: one plank in the platform, which was this elbows up thing,
- 19:58Speaker 1: you remember.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, no, Yeah, I actually elbowed my husband in
- 20:02Speaker 2: the face once we were like sparring, we were doing
- 20:04Speaker 2: like practice and stuff, and I elbowed him in the face,
- 20:08Speaker 2: took him in the jaw. Yeah, I didn't see Carnie
- 20:11Speaker 2: do that with Trump.
- 20:12Speaker 1: No, I didn't see that either, not even in a
- 20:14Speaker 1: playful manner. But yeah, it was this elbows up thing
- 20:18Speaker 1: and the way that he sold this, the way that
- 20:22Speaker 1: he sold this was very precise, and like again, I
- 20:25Speaker 1: don't know if Trump was in on it. If Trump
- 20:27Speaker 1: was in on it almost makes me respect him more
- 20:30Speaker 1: because he knows how to play people like a fiddle.
- 20:33Speaker 1: If that's the case. And I can't blame him for
- 20:35Speaker 1: putting America first. That is that is that, that is
- 20:40Speaker 1: his mission, right, And I'm not saying that I'm happy
- 20:44Speaker 1: about it.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Because I don't know. I'm furious with him. I'm furious
- 20:47Speaker 2: with him, but I'm not as possible fucking time. Thank
- 20:52Speaker 2: you for this Haariff bullshit.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not American. It's like when I listened to
- 20:58Speaker 1: Putin when he was having that, and he was it
- 21:01Speaker 1: was actually really nice to see a world leader making
- 21:06Speaker 1: cognizant points, supporting them with historical fact, and explaining his
- 21:13Speaker 1: position in a very lucid and intelligent way. But as
- 21:16Speaker 1: I was watching him, I was thinking, this man is
- 21:19Speaker 1: a very smart man. He is on point with all
- 21:24Speaker 1: of his explanations, but I don't trust him because he
- 21:30Speaker 1: is not on my side. And that's the same situation.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Trump is America first, and that's you know, that is
- 21:39Speaker 1: his approach. That does not mean he advocates for the
- 21:42Speaker 1: interests of Canada, but in the context separating out my
- 21:46Speaker 1: own interests, separing out of my own emotionality of this,
- 21:50Speaker 1: it's actually a brilliant move to put into place a
- 21:54Speaker 1: person who will not develop Canada's resources so that that
- 21:59Speaker 1: preserves it for America and will kneecap the Canadian economy
- 22:04Speaker 1: to the point where you know Carney. Carney said Canada
- 22:08Speaker 1: is is never going to be for sale. We will
- 22:10Speaker 1: never be for sale, and Trump said never say never.
- 22:13Speaker 2: And it's basically, when we go broke, we're going to
- 22:18Speaker 2: be foreclosed, We're going to be for sale. When we
- 22:21Speaker 2: go for we're not. We're not going to be for sale.
- 22:23Speaker 2: We're going to be foreclosed.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right, And that's the difference. I mean, like
- 22:28Speaker 1: with Paulia, we might have been for sale. With Carne,
- 22:32Speaker 1: we're going to be foreclosed on. And that that's something
- 22:35Speaker 1: I spoke about months ago. I said, it is the
- 22:40Speaker 1: liberals who created this weakness that is now exploitable by
- 22:43Speaker 1: the US, And if we wanted to be fighting against it,
- 22:47Speaker 1: we should have been doing it fifteen years ago, building
- 22:49Speaker 1: it up, not now, not in the final hour. But
- 22:52Speaker 1: what what Carney sold, what Carnee sold to boomer women,
- 23:00Speaker 1: was this particular emotional feeling, this kind of This is
- 23:05Speaker 1: something I've noticed about women. They like to live in
- 23:08Speaker 1: a feeling. Okay, So if you sell them a feeling
- 23:12Speaker 1: of rightness, even if even if it's total bullshit, they
- 23:15Speaker 1: want they want that. They buy a feeling. And the
- 23:19Speaker 1: feeling that Karne gave these women was that they were
- 23:25Speaker 1: in the right. Was that finger wagging is actually political currency,
- 23:31Speaker 1: which it isn't. Political currency is respect, that soft power,
- 23:38Speaker 1: it is military power, it is economic power. It's not
- 23:42Speaker 1: this idea that Carne's going to go to Trump and say, naughty, naughty,
- 23:47Speaker 1: go sit in the corner, mister President, go put your
- 23:51Speaker 1: dunce cap on. So he sold him. They sold these
- 23:55Speaker 1: women and the men who probably voted in line with
- 23:58Speaker 1: their wives. He's old these women this idea that their
- 24:02Speaker 1: attitude towards their families, you know, like the grandma, Oh
- 24:07Speaker 1: you've done bad. You know that that kind of the
- 24:10Speaker 1: ability to judge and have those judgments determine you know,
- 24:14Speaker 1: people's punishments and people's uh, if they get to have
- 24:18Speaker 1: ice cream or if they get to go to the park.
- 24:21Speaker 1: You know, they wanted to see that as they wanted
- 24:24Speaker 1: to see that projected on the world stage is political currency.
- 24:28Speaker 1: So they wanted to see that nagging could be used
- 24:31Speaker 1: to make big political moves. And that's what he sold them.
- 24:35Speaker 1: He sold them the idea that nagging has political currency,
- 24:38Speaker 1: that moral self righteousness means that you win, which is
- 24:42Speaker 1: not the case.
- 24:44Speaker 2: No, no, and he'd never ever in history.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Yeah that's yeah. No, you can be as style for
- 24:50Speaker 1: righteous as you want, but you still have to you
- 24:53Speaker 1: still have to play the game.
- 24:55Speaker 2: You know, you see you can, you can be as
- 24:57Speaker 2: genuinely righteous as you want. Yeah, it's still not going
- 25:01Speaker 2: to keep you from getting clubbed over the head or
- 25:03Speaker 2: burned at the stake.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Yeah right, But you know, if you are genuinely righteous,
- 25:08Speaker 1: that might inspire other people to make the changes that
- 25:11Speaker 1: you wanted to see, if you're willing to sacrifice to
- 25:13Speaker 1: that degree. But that's the thing he sold them, this
- 25:17Speaker 1: feeling that they had control over Trump and they could
- 25:23Speaker 1: have it through Carney, because Carne was going to do
- 25:25Speaker 1: some finger wagging, some lecturing, some game on you, mister president,
- 25:33Speaker 1: and they he sold them that feeling that they had control,
- 25:37Speaker 1: and they had control specifically in the way that women
- 25:41Speaker 1: seem to express control, which isn't about building an economy,
- 25:45Speaker 1: building a military, building respect building anything, building anything. It's
- 25:50Speaker 1: about sitting in judgment of others. So I think that's
- 25:54Speaker 1: what Karne did. He sold that specifically to them, and
- 25:57Speaker 1: he sold that specifically to a generation of women who,
- 26:00Speaker 1: let's face it, are particularly prone to falling for Nigerian scam,
- 26:05Speaker 1: Nigerian prince scams, and other stuff like that. So this
- 26:10Speaker 1: is this is a con artist. And he didn't even
- 26:12Speaker 1: have the integrity. I was watching his meeting with Trump.
- 26:15Speaker 1: He didn't even have the integrity to act out the
- 26:19Speaker 1: thing he sold to these women.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Didn't even do that.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Like the guy was slabbering over Trump. There was like
- 26:28Speaker 1: one there was Okay, there was this one moment where
- 26:31Speaker 1: Trump was congratulating him on his win and Carne laughs
- 26:35Speaker 1: and it's a giggle, like this is the man giggling
- 26:40Speaker 1: like he's being complimented. He's a homely girl being asked
- 26:45Speaker 1: to the prom by the jock.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, and he doesn't realize it's gonna end
- 26:50Speaker 2: like Carrie.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm like watching all this. He's slabbering over Trump.
- 26:56Speaker 1: He's obsequious, he's star struck like this, And why wouldn't
- 27:02Speaker 1: he be. Trump has the thing that carried love lost,
- 27:05Speaker 1: which is money.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, but if if you look at Poliev, Polyiev
- 27:09Speaker 2: would have been very different. Polyev's a nerd right now.
- 27:13Speaker 2: He's a little bit assy, you know, and he would
- 27:17Speaker 2: have gone into that meeting musk. Yeah, but he would
- 27:22Speaker 2: have gone into that meeting and he would have been
- 27:24Speaker 2: very just very serious and very He wouldn't have been
- 27:28Speaker 2: overly flattering. He wouldn't have been overly anything. He would
- 27:32Speaker 2: have just been like, you know, I'm here to do
- 27:34Speaker 2: a job, and I'm gonna do it and and we're
- 27:37Speaker 2: gonna have to sit down and negotiate. And you know, honestly,
- 27:42Speaker 2: I don't know if you saw the recent CBC hit
- 27:46Speaker 2: piece Allison on Danielle Smith to talk with other that
- 27:50Speaker 2: very large investment, that large amount of money ten thousand
- 27:55Speaker 2: taxpayer dollars?
- 27:57Speaker 1: Are you playing? Okay? That's just an embarrassment, I know.
- 28:01Speaker 1: And well, within how many people went down.
- 28:04Speaker 2: She flew down with two people and met up with
- 28:07Speaker 2: the and she and she and she brought the uh
- 28:11Speaker 2: the Canadian ambassador who was probably.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Kidding me that's as fiscally responsible. After ten thousand dollars,
- 28:21Speaker 1: What did they take economy seats?
- 28:23Speaker 2: Yes, they fly economy.
- 28:26Speaker 1: They took economy seats. They probably got like a super
- 28:29Speaker 1: in for god's.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Sake, U SEP flyes economy and uh. And just like
- 28:34Speaker 2: wild Rose fly flew the party that became the UCP
- 28:37Speaker 2: essentially and that she led before she became a UCP leader,
- 28:43Speaker 2: h fly, they fly economy and uh and they and
- 28:47Speaker 2: they do not They're not very big on like per
- 28:52Speaker 2: you know, expensive big lush per dms and stuff. Right,
- 28:56Speaker 2: and uh, it was a two day trip ten thousand
- 28:59Speaker 2: dollars and and you know what she got out of it?
- 29:04Speaker 2: You know, and after the fact, everybody's like, well, she
- 29:06Speaker 2: didn't know that there was going to be any value
- 29:09Speaker 2: to be had out of this trip. It was just
- 29:12Speaker 2: it could have been a waste of money. Energy Trump
- 29:18Speaker 2: agreed to lower the tariffs on energy to ten percent. Right,
- 29:23Speaker 2: do you know how many billions of dollars that is.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Got for ten thousand dollars. They don't understand the concept
- 29:31Speaker 1: of frugality or or leverage or relative benefit somehow, Well,
- 29:38Speaker 1: this is much.
- 29:39Speaker 2: They don't actual an actual investment, an actual investment, going
- 29:44Speaker 2: down there talking to him being reasonable. And she's always
- 29:47Speaker 2: been reasonable. She's always been like, yeah, no, I don't
- 29:52Speaker 2: think we can talk him out of it. The only
- 29:54Speaker 2: thing we can do is try to talk him down
- 29:57Speaker 2: a little bit. And so I'm going to go down
- 30:00Speaker 2: and I'm gonna try that. And you know, and she
- 30:03Speaker 2: didn't just benefit Alberta. She benefited Ontario, which has and
- 30:07Speaker 2: Quebec which have major energy electricity exports down into the
- 30:11Speaker 2: United States. Right, so she's she's helping everybody else in
- 30:16Speaker 2: the country out. Yeah, and the CBC that collects one
- 30:22Speaker 2: point five billion fucking dollars of my money and your
- 30:28Speaker 2: money and every Canadian's tax money every year comes out
- 30:33Speaker 2: with this fucking fuck story mm hmm about how she
- 30:38Speaker 2: wasted ten thousand taxpayer dollars.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Okay, I'm sorry, that is frugal. Three people for a
- 30:45Speaker 1: two day trip ten thousand dollars. Yeah, they'd have to
- 30:48Speaker 1: be flying economy, they'd have to be going. Maybe they
- 30:51Speaker 1: got three rooms. You know, Oh my god, what a
- 30:54Speaker 1: splurge at the Super eight plus plus travel plus I
- 30:59Speaker 1: have arranged these kinds of trips. Ten thousand dollars is
- 31:03Speaker 1: eminently reasonable for three people. If it's a spur of
- 31:06Speaker 1: a moment, you're gonna be paying a lot of money
- 31:08Speaker 1: just for the flights, Yeah, because they tends to ramp
- 31:13Speaker 1: up the closer you get. So I mean that from
- 31:15Speaker 1: my budgeting perspective, what they've told me by saying that
- 31:19Speaker 1: this cost ten thousand dollars is that Daniel Smith really
- 31:22Speaker 1: is responsible with her constituent's money, and she doesn't. She
- 31:27Speaker 1: doesn't avail herself of all of the flip flipperies that
- 31:31Speaker 1: the Liberal Party apparently quite likes and requires to even function.
- 31:36Speaker 1: But it's okay getting it back on this. So Carney,
- 31:40Speaker 1: for those of you just tuning in, Carney, the guy
- 31:43Speaker 1: on the Trump's left right, this is the new Canadian president.
- 31:49Speaker 1: And he got in prime minister. Yes, and he got
- 31:53Speaker 1: in on the plank of not being Trump, and not
- 31:58Speaker 1: just not being Trump, but all so he was gonna
- 32:01Speaker 1: go arms up. You know, if you've ever seen, ever
- 32:05Speaker 1: seen a hockey game where everybody's like, everybody's decided that
- 32:10Speaker 1: they're gonna start fighting instead of playing hockey. They do it,
- 32:13Speaker 1: they start elbowing. Yeah, that's that was his promise to
- 32:19Speaker 1: the people who voted for him. And when I heard
- 32:22Speaker 1: all of this, I'm like, yeah, it's no, that's not
- 32:26Speaker 1: what's gonna happen. He's gonna because Carney met with just
- 32:29Speaker 1: Carnee met with with President Trump prior to his election.
- 32:33Speaker 1: President Trump even said I look forward to meeting with
- 32:35Speaker 1: Carney again after he's elected, which was thanks and he
- 32:42Speaker 1: and he and when he went through this whole thing
- 32:45Speaker 1: like I'm going to take I'm gonna take Trump. I'm
- 32:47Speaker 1: gonna take Trump to the what is it called when
- 32:50Speaker 1: you do that. I'm gonna check Trump, you know, I'm
- 32:52Speaker 1: gonna I'm gonna make him.
- 32:54Speaker 2: I'm gonna give him the high stick and then take
- 32:57Speaker 2: him back behind the bleachers.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's you know. He did that whole shtick.
- 33:02Speaker 1: And I was listening to this and I saw all
- 33:04Speaker 1: these apparently boomers and possibly also zoomers, who are like, Oh, that's.
- 33:08Speaker 2: That's our man.
- 33:09Speaker 1: I'm like, it's gonna be a wet fart, you know
- 33:14Speaker 1: that they're gonna meet again, and it's just gonna be
- 33:16Speaker 1: ah kiss, kiss, kiss, I kiss the ring, and that's
- 33:20Speaker 1: gonna be it. And you're right, Pollyev wouldn't have been
- 33:23Speaker 1: able to do much more, because if we wanted to,
- 33:25Speaker 1: if we wanted to actually have be ready for a
- 33:30Speaker 1: fight like this, we needed to be doing it fifteen
- 33:32Speaker 1: years ago. But now, and Pollyev can't cannot fix fifteen
- 33:38Speaker 1: years of waste and inertia and lack of building our
- 33:44Speaker 1: resource base for this fight. But what he could do
- 33:47Speaker 1: is he could present somebody who at least can start
- 33:53Speaker 1: developing those resources to have some kind of bargaining power
- 33:57Speaker 1: and all of this, right, Instead, we got Carnie And look,
- 34:02Speaker 1: I watched this, and I watched responses to this. Of course,
- 34:06Speaker 1: the way that the Canadian government framed it is Carne
- 34:08Speaker 1: said that Canada is never, will never be for sale.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the only sound bite they took.
- 34:15Speaker 1: That's the only sound bite they didn't give us. The
- 34:18Speaker 1: round bite after that when Trump very very you know,
- 34:22Speaker 1: like teasingly said they didn't get and then Carney's lack
- 34:28Speaker 1: of a response to.
- 34:29Speaker 2: That, Carnie was totally Carney was trying to break into
- 34:34Speaker 2: a conversation, break into the conversation. He was constantly like
- 34:38Speaker 2: lifting his hand and opening his mouth and then like
- 34:40Speaker 2: shutting up and putting his hand down. Right, he was
- 34:42Speaker 2: constantly doing that. Trump just steamrolled over him, just the
- 34:46Speaker 2: way Hannah steamrolls over me.
- 34:49Speaker 1: You steam roll over everyone.
- 34:51Speaker 2: That's right, That's right, you know it. Yeah, but I
- 34:56Speaker 2: got the chops for it anyway. But yeah, no, he
- 35:00Speaker 2: he just he just completely he got in that one thing,
- 35:04Speaker 2: that one important thing Canada. You know, there's some properties
- 35:08Speaker 2: that are never for sale, like like the one we're
- 35:11Speaker 2: sitting in and like Buckingham pal.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Or something to say to that when you're done.
- 35:16Speaker 2: Okay, well anyway, but that's that's all he that's all
- 35:20Speaker 2: he managed to get across. He hasn't said anything about
- 35:24Speaker 2: like what actually transpired, because they're not making any deals
- 35:30Speaker 2: in these chairs in front of cameras, right, And so
- 35:34Speaker 2: I guess we can just be happy that it didn't
- 35:37Speaker 2: turn out he didn't get zelenskied, okay.
- 35:42Speaker 1: But publicly humiliated, well, he's just sort of I think
- 35:46Speaker 1: he's he.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Choose, he chose his humiliation. He chose the lesser humiliations.
- 35:54Speaker 2: Zelenski pushed through and chose the greater humiliation. Yeah, by
- 36:01Speaker 2: being stubborn and obstinate and demanding. And that's what.
- 36:08Speaker 1: This was, the big plank And it just ends with
- 36:11Speaker 1: a freaking whoopy cushion, like just the wet sound of
- 36:14Speaker 1: a wet fart. That's it.
- 36:19Speaker 2: I voted for no substance. There's substance to a wet fart, Allison,
- 36:26Speaker 2: there's substance to a wet fart. This was drier than
- 36:30Speaker 2: three eighths of a fucking popcorn fart.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Okay, fair enough, But I hope your three eighths of
- 36:36Speaker 1: the fucking popcorn fart was worth it, because that's what
- 36:40Speaker 1: you got. This is what you voted for. Nothing nothing,
- 36:45Speaker 1: nothing has changed.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Oh no, no, nothing has changed. Nothing. We're still We're
- 36:52Speaker 2: still gonna be like on the green. We're gonna be
- 36:55Speaker 2: going off the green fucking dream cliff right, like a
- 36:59Speaker 2: bunch of freaking lemmings, right, because that's the only way
- 37:03Speaker 2: that we're allowed to go. Because Ottawa says so, I mean,
- 37:07Speaker 2: it's no wonder, it's no wonder Saskatchewan is actually having
- 37:11Speaker 2: more because you arguably Saskatchewan has a lot of resources too,
- 37:16Speaker 2: a lot of oil and gas, a lot of yeah,
- 37:20Speaker 2: all yeah, no, but arguably they're more in favor of
- 37:24Speaker 2: separation than Alberta is at this point, mm hmm. And
- 37:31Speaker 2: Alberta is very in favor of separation. And I think
- 37:34Speaker 2: if you took away the Greater Vancouver Regional District and
- 37:39Speaker 2: Vancouver Island, BC would be heavily in favor of separation.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:52Speaker 2: Yeah, they might put Yukon with us and and create Diagalon.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Diagalon Ah the lower part of Manitoba as well, so
- 38:04Speaker 1: the complete Diagalon. And I don't know, like I'm pretty
- 38:07Speaker 1: sure that Northern Manitoba would probably just have to go
- 38:11Speaker 1: with Southern Manitoba. They wouldn't just like, you know, embarrassingly
- 38:15Speaker 1: Northern Saskatchewan, like the ten people in Northern Saskatchewan voted
- 38:19Speaker 1: for Liberals. But we'll go up there with you know,
- 38:24Speaker 1: and just convince them that they can get more money
- 38:28Speaker 1: in their treaty rights if the economy is good.
- 38:30Speaker 2: That's the thing. That's the thing that gets me is
- 38:32Speaker 2: like you got, you got, you know, Alberta's talking about separation.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Danielle Smith, the premier is not right, but Alberta is.
- 38:41Speaker 2: And so these these chiefs sent her a cease and
- 38:46Speaker 2: desist letter right basically telling her to like stop fomenting
- 38:53Speaker 2: separation talks because you know, like they have treaties with
- 38:57Speaker 2: the federal bitch please okay. Alberta spent pays okay, pays
- 39:06Speaker 2: billions of dollars every year to Ottawa, right, Okay, that
- 39:12Speaker 2: would be billions of dollars a year if we separated,
- 39:15Speaker 2: that we wouldn't have to pay to Ottawa to be
- 39:17Speaker 2: dispersed among Ontario and Quebec and mostly Quebec and Atlantic Canada.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Maybe billions of dollars a year that we could spend
- 39:28Speaker 2: on improving your situation. M h. Yes, And it wouldn't
- 39:34Speaker 2: all go into one big pot in maybe divvied up,
- 39:38Speaker 2: you know, by the federal government equally between all the bands. No,
- 39:42Speaker 2: you'd have an edge over all those other bands. Yep.
- 39:46Speaker 1: And maybe the natives in Northern Manitoba can finally get
- 39:50Speaker 1: clean clean water.
- 39:52Speaker 2: Yeah, oh, there you go. Well, Alberta is really good
- 39:56Speaker 2: at delivering clean water typically, you know, like it's it's
- 39:59Speaker 2: just getting it, getting it past the federal fucking regulations.
- 40:06Speaker 2: M that seems to be the problem.
- 40:09Speaker 1: Shall we watch some of this? Actually I wanted to
- 40:12Speaker 1: say this, and I we sort of went off topic
- 40:15Speaker 1: onto the well, I guess it's not really off topic.
- 40:17Speaker 1: It's all just it's all Canadian politics hours.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Guy.
- 40:20Speaker 1: It's just two Western Canadians bitching about what happened with
- 40:26Speaker 1: slightly divergent viewpoints, I think, although I don't I don't
- 40:29Speaker 1: think we've actually found a point of disagreement, strong disagreement
- 40:32Speaker 1: yet No, all right, so this uh I just okay,
- 40:37Speaker 1: let's uh let's play some of this.
- 40:43Speaker 3: Thank you very much, everybody. It's a great honor to
- 40:46Speaker 3: have Prime Minister Mark Carney with us. As you know,
- 40:49Speaker 3: just a few days ago, he won a very big
- 40:51Speaker 3: election in Canada, and I think I was probably the
- 40:55Speaker 3: greatest thing that happened to him. But I can't take
- 40:57Speaker 3: him vote. He was losing by a lot and he
- 41:03Speaker 3: ended up winning, so I really want to congratulate. It
- 41:05Speaker 3: was one of probably one of the greatest comebacks in
- 41:07Speaker 3: the history of politics, maybe even greater than mine.
- 41:11Speaker 1: Oh good lord, no offense, Karen. And again, like, I
- 41:19Speaker 1: don't know if this will offend you, but it starts
- 41:21Speaker 1: to feel like this is this is two people on
- 41:26Speaker 1: a in on a joke, and honestly, the only person
- 41:29Speaker 1: who is in the moral wrong, if that's the case,
- 41:31Speaker 1: is Carneie. Because he's supposed to be representing the interests
- 41:34Speaker 1: of Canada, not preparing to sell it to the highest bidder.
- 41:40Speaker 1: And and Trump in getting the candidate he wanted in power,
- 41:46Speaker 1: the candidate who is not going to develop Alberta's or
- 41:50Speaker 1: the Western Canada's resources. So those will be preserved if
- 41:54Speaker 1: and when Canada's economy is so bad that we start
- 41:58Speaker 1: begging the US to take us over, you know, those
- 42:01Speaker 1: will be preserved and will also ensure that Canada's economy
- 42:05Speaker 1: slot becomes weak enough that we may end up begging
- 42:09Speaker 1: the Americans to take us over.
- 42:11Speaker 5: Yep.
- 42:12Speaker 1: And this is this is like, this is not me
- 42:14Speaker 1: sitting here being gloating. Oh yes, this was This is
- 42:17Speaker 1: all going toworting to my diabolical plan. I've always wanted
- 42:21Speaker 1: to be American. No, this is me Just like if
- 42:28Speaker 1: you wanted to remain if you want to remain sovereign,
- 42:32Speaker 1: you actually have to have something to your name, like
- 42:38Speaker 1: you have to have something, you have to have resources,
- 42:41Speaker 1: you have to have military strength, you gotta have something real.
- 42:45Speaker 1: You can't just have moral a proborum like self righteousness
- 42:49Speaker 1: and believing that you're better than the people down south.
- 42:53Speaker 1: And if you're going to vote into the into position
- 42:55Speaker 1: a guy who's obviously conned you, Like, obviously, why did
- 43:00Speaker 1: you vote for him? You voted for him because he
- 43:02Speaker 1: was gonna go elbows up with Trump? Does this look
- 43:04Speaker 1: like elbows up? I him being congratulated by Trump, him
- 43:10Speaker 1: looking bashful as he's being congratulated by Trump. Like, does
- 43:15Speaker 1: that look like the look of a man who's who's
- 43:17Speaker 1: who's in the in the presence of his his his grant,
- 43:21Speaker 1: his great rival or opposition.
- 43:24Speaker 2: Or does he look adversary?
- 43:27Speaker 1: Does it look like a guy who's being complimented by
- 43:29Speaker 1: his most favorite, like a person that he looks up to. Yeah,
- 43:36Speaker 1: you know, Like, seriously, this is what you this is
- 43:40Speaker 1: what you bought, This is what you you, this is
- 43:43Speaker 1: what you wanted, This is what you thought you were
- 43:45Speaker 1: gonna get. He lied to you. He lied to you.
- 43:49Speaker 1: He played a part. He played the part of Trump's
- 43:52Speaker 1: adversary forgets you to vote. He didn't even have the
- 43:55Speaker 1: integrity to pretend to be his adversary for like, uh,
- 44:00Speaker 1: how like for a month after he got elected, he
- 44:04Speaker 1: didn't even get integrity to even play the part that
- 44:07Speaker 1: you elected him for. He just dropped it. This is
- 44:11Speaker 1: what you wanted?
- 44:13Speaker 2: And this is the thing.
- 44:14Speaker 1: The more that you the more that we have this
- 44:16Speaker 1: emotional voting, and I hate to say it, it's women
- 44:20Speaker 1: who do this. They buy an emotion. The more that
- 44:24Speaker 1: you buy an emotion, the easier you are to be conned.
- 44:29Speaker 1: They'll present the emotion, but they won't present the facts
- 44:32Speaker 1: because the facts were never in play. Carne was never
- 44:36Speaker 1: going to give you this. He was only going to
- 44:38Speaker 1: sell you the emotion that self righteousness. Your self righteousness
- 44:42Speaker 1: has some kind of control over Trump. It doesn't. So
- 44:46Speaker 1: now you've elected a con artist who is going to
- 44:48Speaker 1: fill the coffers of his own companies. He's gonna feed
- 44:53Speaker 1: at the trough of Canada, weaken the economy and make
- 44:56Speaker 1: it more likely that we end up the fifty first state.
- 44:59Speaker 1: Congratulate relations. You got played, and you may have also
- 45:04Speaker 1: been played by Donald Trump. Congratulations and that. And the
- 45:09Speaker 1: other thing that that Carnie probably sold was this idea
- 45:12Speaker 1: that these people were smarter than Trump. You're not smarter
- 45:16Speaker 1: than Trump, right, He's probably a pretty smart guy, let's
- 45:21Speaker 1: face it. Yeah, and the average person is probably not
- 45:25Speaker 1: smarter than him. You got played by this, by this
- 45:29Speaker 1: classic con.
- 45:31Speaker 2: What's frustrating to me right, like when Trump announced the
- 45:35Speaker 2: tariffs and then you know, Justin Trudeau basically said, well,
- 45:38Speaker 2: it'll destroy Canada, It'll destroy our economy. And then Trump joked,
- 45:46Speaker 2: you know, well, maybe you should just become the fifty
- 45:48Speaker 2: first state. Don't worry, Justin, you can be governor. And
- 45:55Speaker 2: and it's like that was a joke. It was designed
- 45:59Speaker 2: because Trudeau has history of being caught on hot mics
- 46:02Speaker 2: disparaging Trump, right and and uh and mocking him and
- 46:07Speaker 2: stuff and basically like calling him the stupid orange man
- 46:10Speaker 2: and stuff like not those words, but that kind of sentiment, right,
- 46:15Speaker 2: Oh he's he's a fat orange man with little hands
- 46:18Speaker 2: kind of sentiment. And and so you you had this
- 46:25Speaker 2: and it got out because it was said in front
- 46:29Speaker 2: of a whole bunch of important people and U and
- 46:32Speaker 2: then everybody lost their fucking minds, right, and they were
- 46:36Speaker 2: all like, oh my god, fifty he's gonna he's gonna
- 46:40Speaker 2: annex Canada. He's gonna invade Canada, right And and I'm
- 46:46Speaker 2: I put up a big long Twitter thread, right like
- 46:49Speaker 2: are you fucking retarded? Like Canada has a history of
- 46:54Speaker 2: sixty five percent of its voters voting liberal or left
- 46:58Speaker 2: of liberal. Why would Trump want to give a country
- 47:03Speaker 2: like that the status of a state, right when it
- 47:08Speaker 2: has more electoral College votes than California. Right, more electoral
- 47:16Speaker 2: College votes than California. There would if Canada was the
- 47:23Speaker 2: fifty first state, there would never be another Republican House,
- 47:28Speaker 2: Republican Senate, or Republican president ever. Again hm, right, why
- 47:36Speaker 2: would he want this? Right? Here's why he's and here's
- 47:41Speaker 2: why you screwed yourselves, Canada. You know, congratulations, you played yourself. Right.
- 47:47Speaker 2: He always opens, he wrote about it in his book
- 47:50Speaker 2: it's called The Art of the Deal. He always opens
- 47:56Speaker 2: with an unreasonable gambit, that unreasonable move, an unreasonable demand. Okay,
- 48:05Speaker 2: go reasonable now, well, and and that's because he wants
- 48:10Speaker 2: his subsequent offers to look more reasonable by comparison. Well,
- 48:14Speaker 2: twenty five percent tariffs across the board was the unreasonable
- 48:18Speaker 2: opening gambit.
- 48:20Speaker 1: Mm hmmm.
- 48:21Speaker 2: Yeah. Now the unreasonable opening gambit is fifty first state,
- 48:27Speaker 2: and the twenty five percent tips are the more reasonable alternative.
- 48:33Speaker 1: I just I'm like looking at the special chat and
- 48:38Speaker 1: there are people who are saying, let's see, Trump is
- 48:43Speaker 1: a fella. Majority of Canadians don't want to be American.
- 48:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't want the fellin Trump is a felon.
- 48:48Speaker 1: No, no, don't get baited, don't get baited. Keep on
- 48:51Speaker 1: top of it.
- 48:51Speaker 2: Up with that, he's not a fucking felon. Buck off.
- 48:56Speaker 2: You want you want to know how and why he's
- 48:59Speaker 2: not a felon? Me up on fucking Twitter.
- 49:01Speaker 1: Okay, hit hit Karen up on Twitter. But majority of yeah,
- 49:05Speaker 1: I don't want to be American, Like this is why
- 49:09Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 49:11Speaker 2: I don't want to be American, but I don't want
- 49:13Speaker 2: to be Canadian anymore. Right, I was ready to I
- 49:17Speaker 2: was ready to vote for separation when I was eighteen
- 49:19Speaker 2: in nineteen eighty eight.
- 49:22Speaker 1: Yeah, considering. But the point is that, yeah, not wanting
- 49:26Speaker 1: to be American is fine, but you have to take
- 49:30Speaker 1: the steps to actually preserve your economy so you don't
- 49:35Speaker 1: get to this point where what do you do?
- 49:39Speaker 2: Right?
- 49:39Speaker 1: You have to take the steps to preserve the act
- 49:42Speaker 1: something some kind of thing that you have to preserve
- 49:45Speaker 1: your sovereignty. And we haven't.
- 49:48Speaker 2: We haven't.
- 49:48Speaker 1: We've been pursuing breag D industrializing, we've been pursuing mecapping
- 49:54Speaker 1: our economy in the favor of a net zero agenda,
- 49:59Speaker 1: which on a isn't doing anything in Canada because we
- 50:02Speaker 1: got that gigantic carbon sync to the north of us,
- 50:05Speaker 1: the freaking forest, right and it's only a drop of
- 50:09Speaker 1: the bucket compared to China. So what we're doing is
- 50:12Speaker 1: we're recapping ourselves and we're just sitting waiting for somebody.
- 50:19Speaker 1: And this is gonna happen because we are entering a
- 50:25Speaker 1: point in time where things are going to get more hairy,
- 50:30Speaker 1: more competitive, because we are we are. The economic landscape
- 50:35Speaker 1: is changing. We're not. We're no longer in an era
- 50:38Speaker 1: of prosperity. People are gonna start fighting more over resources,
- 50:42Speaker 1: and we are a big fat resource right there, right
- 50:46Speaker 1: for the plucket. You think that we're gonna be able
- 50:49Speaker 1: to maintain that without actually building up those resources. No,
- 50:53Speaker 1: eventually somebody is gonna pluck us. It's gonna be Russia
- 50:56Speaker 1: or the US somebody.
- 50:59Speaker 2: And okay, I would advise anybody to actually go and
- 51:04Speaker 2: look because people are like, oh, he's insane for talking
- 51:08Speaker 2: about annex in Greenland, right, Okay, go go look not
- 51:16Speaker 2: at the cylindrical map that is the standard map that
- 51:19Speaker 2: everybody uses to map the world. Okay, where oh, Russia
- 51:24Speaker 2: so far away from North America because it's like it's
- 51:28Speaker 2: on the far right of the map, and we're on
- 51:31Speaker 2: the far left of the map, and so it's like
- 51:34Speaker 2: it's nowhere near us. Go look at a polar map.
- 51:37Speaker 2: Go look at a polar map and their neighbors. Then
- 51:41Speaker 2: ask yourself, we're just like a hop from Russia, from
- 51:45Speaker 2: Russia's northern border, right, And then ask yourself if you
- 51:49Speaker 2: really genuinely believe that the ice caps are melting yep,
- 51:55Speaker 2: And new shipping lanes not just for cargo but for military,
- 52:00Speaker 2: Harry Kraft are going to be opening up in the Arctic, right,
- 52:06Speaker 2: Like Sarah Palin was not joking when she said she
- 52:09Speaker 2: could see Russia from her front porch.
- 52:12Speaker 1: Yep.
- 52:14Speaker 2: Right, we can all through Greenland and Iceland and freaking
- 52:20Speaker 2: all the north of Canada and Alaska. Right, just a
- 52:25Speaker 2: freaking you could skip a stone across the fucking water
- 52:30Speaker 2: and reach the other side. Right, That's how close we are. Right.
- 52:35Speaker 5: And if you think that Putin is the madman bent
- 52:41Speaker 5: on world domination, that everybody says he is, right, he's
- 52:46Speaker 5: an expansionist and he wants to make the entire world Russia. Okay,
- 52:51Speaker 5: if you believe that, Okay, because you guys are holding
- 52:55Speaker 5: all of these ideas.
- 52:56Speaker 2: In your head. Right, Oh, Putin won't stop at you, crane.
- 53:00Speaker 2: Putin will take Poland and he'll take god knows who next,
- 53:05Speaker 2: maybe fucking Greenland or Canada and then northern Canada. I remember,
- 53:12Speaker 2: you're fucking stupid.
- 53:13Speaker 1: Like I remember years ago, I don't know if you
- 53:16Speaker 1: remember this, that Russia was doing war games in the
- 53:19Speaker 1: Arctic yep. Yeah, and we didn't like Canada's like, ah,
- 53:24Speaker 1: are just playing around.
- 53:25Speaker 2: We didn't, we didn't notice.
- 53:27Speaker 1: We didn't notice that.
- 53:29Speaker 2: They didn't notice, okay until it had been going on
- 53:33Speaker 2: for some time and then they were like, oh, well
- 53:36Speaker 2: it's no biggie.
- 53:37Speaker 1: And you know that's really annoying. And the Special Chat
- 53:40Speaker 1: doesn't get it. When we talk about these things, we're
- 53:42Speaker 1: not talking about what we want. We're talking about realities. Yeah,
- 53:47Speaker 1: just real realities. What is like, what does it matter
- 53:52Speaker 1: if I want to remain Canadian? No, it doesn't, honestly,
- 53:57Speaker 1: it doesn't. My my desires are And the more we
- 54:01Speaker 1: end up being manipulated by our emotions and get away
- 54:05Speaker 1: from this idea that when we elect prime ministers and
- 54:07Speaker 1: when we elect presidents, we are not electing God's kings
- 54:11Speaker 1: Satan's hitlers. We are electing the pitt mechanic. Okay, who's
- 54:16Speaker 1: going to maintain the system, hopefully if in so far
- 54:20Speaker 1: as governments can do anything to maintain systems instead of
- 54:25Speaker 1: just leeching off of them. I'm an archo capitalist, so
- 54:27Speaker 1: I'm going to say that. But you know, like this
- 54:30Speaker 1: is what we're doing. But the more you buy into
- 54:33Speaker 1: the emotionality, the more you get taken advantage of, like
- 54:36Speaker 1: by con artists like Carney, who gave the people who
- 54:40Speaker 1: voted for him the impression he was going to fight
- 54:43Speaker 1: back against Trump. And once again those guys who are
- 54:46Speaker 1: like somebody said that Trump didn't want Carne. He specifically
- 54:50Speaker 1: said he wanted Carney. Let's listen to this again. Let's
- 54:54Speaker 1: listen to this again. All right, this is a little
- 54:59Speaker 1: bit of like white noise in the beginning.
- 55:01Speaker 3: Thank you very much, lady. It's a great honor to
- 55:04Speaker 3: have Prime Minister Mark Karney with us. As you know,
- 55:08Speaker 3: just a few days ago he won a very big
- 55:10Speaker 3: election in Canada, and I think I was probably the
- 55:14Speaker 3: greatest thing that happened to him. But I can't take
- 55:16Speaker 3: a vote. They were his party was losing by a lot.
- 55:21Speaker 3: He ended up winning.
- 55:22Speaker 1: So do you see that expression on Carney's face. That's
- 55:26Speaker 1: not a man who went there to become an adversary.
- 55:29Speaker 1: That's a man who has successfully played a con Right,
- 55:35Speaker 1: these are business partners. Of course Trump is gonna go
- 55:38Speaker 1: for his business partner. Of course he's gonna go for
- 55:40Speaker 1: the man who's gonna be like, yeah, I'll preserve all
- 55:42Speaker 1: those lovely resources for whenever the Canada has to say
- 55:47Speaker 1: uncle to the US. Right. Oh and oh, and we'll
- 55:51Speaker 1: kneecap the economy. So we'll bring that day to you sooner.
- 55:54Speaker 1: Rub melbow. Yeah, brought his elbows up to rub them
- 55:57Speaker 1: with freakin' Trump. And again, I can not blame Trump
- 56:01Speaker 1: for this. He is advocating for the interests of the Americans.
- 56:06Speaker 1: And you guys are facing something. I know, all of
- 56:10Speaker 1: the people on the left who are all about the
- 56:12Speaker 1: government spending, they don't want to acknowledge this. You are
- 56:15Speaker 1: facing something economic in the near future that will be devastating,
- 56:20Speaker 1: which is the end of exorbitant privilege. Go look that
- 56:23Speaker 1: up right. He is facing that reality. And again that reality,
- 56:30Speaker 1: that future is going to be a future of a
- 56:32Speaker 1: lot of competition over resources. And he's facing that reality
- 56:38Speaker 1: and he's advocating for his people, and he has now
- 56:42Speaker 1: got somebody who's going to work really closely with him
- 56:46Speaker 1: to preserve Canada's resources for what potential future American takeover
- 56:52Speaker 1: and make sure that Canada is ready to say uncle economically.
- 56:56Speaker 1: And if you think I'm saying this because I enjoy it, no,
- 57:02Speaker 1: I don't enjoy it. I don't enjoy any of this.
- 57:06Speaker 1: But this is reality. You constructed this by by over
- 57:10Speaker 1: and over and over again, buying a feeling out of
- 57:14Speaker 1: the facts, buying this man, this con artist, the feeling
- 57:18Speaker 1: that he gave you that he is what is it.
- 57:21Speaker 1: He's smart, and then voting for him makes you smart.
- 57:26Speaker 1: He's self righteous, he's got all the right talking points.
- 57:29Speaker 1: So voting for him will make you morally good, will
- 57:34Speaker 1: be a virtue signal. And also voting for him is
- 57:38Speaker 1: evidence that that kind of moralizing actually had was worth
- 57:43Speaker 1: to a fucking squirrel f art in politics, Well what not?
- 57:50Speaker 2: What frustrates me is that, okay, so, and a lot
- 57:53Speaker 2: of this is because people listen to their TVs, right,
- 57:57Speaker 2: the boomers especially, they listen to their TVs and all
- 58:00Speaker 2: of the mainstream media, the big mainstream media that's carried
- 58:05Speaker 2: on cable is purchased. It's all subsidized by the government, right,
- 58:10Speaker 2: And Pauliev wants to defund all that. And the Liberals
- 58:16Speaker 2: have expanded that, right. The Liberals started that during COVID,
- 58:21Speaker 2: and they've only it was supposed to be a temporary measure. Right,
- 58:25Speaker 2: But like all government programs, temporary means permanent and ever expanding.
- 58:32Speaker 2: But so these people are listening to their TVs and
- 58:39Speaker 2: guess what the mainstream media really didn't report on very much.
- 58:45Speaker 2: They didn't really mention this very often, Right, was that
- 58:49Speaker 2: Carney was one of the chief economic advisors to Trudeau
- 58:56Speaker 2: for the last five years since twenty twenty, right, And
- 59:04Speaker 2: and that Trudeau took Carney's economic advice during those five years, right,
- 59:16Speaker 2: during the five years when we saw massive inflation, massive
- 59:19Speaker 2: increases in interest rates, massive increases in the cost of living,
- 59:26Speaker 2: the affordability crisis, the crime crisis, right, all of these things,
- 59:31Speaker 2: right there are the fallout from just things being generally unaffordable.
- 59:37Speaker 2: And that was not made particularly public and and neither
- 59:45Speaker 2: were any of Carney's financial disclosures, right, So it's like
- 59:51Speaker 2: he's he's worth he's a multimillionaire at least and and
- 59:58Speaker 2: but his excuse for not revealing what he's invested in
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: as well, it's in a blind trust. Well, okay, if
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: you're heavily invested in ESG and green energy and all
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: of those, all of these schemes, right, and then you
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: become prime minister, I don't think your trustee is going
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: to be selling off your shares in those assets, right,
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: because you're poised to be able to usher in the
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: things that will make those assets really profitable.
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: So it's like this, this is like I'm sorry, but
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: we got fucking screwed. And I am my mother. She's
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: eighty two. She is not a boomer. She comes from
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: the generation prior to the boomers, and she's furious with them, right,
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: she she she's been furious and disgusted with boomers since.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: I think it was like it was years ago, right,
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: and the Alberta government decided to change the the cope
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: structure for prescription drugs for seniors, right. I think I
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: think they were all paying ten percent or something ninety
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: percent was covered ten percent that you had to pay
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: out of pocket. And then they they decided and they
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: sent everybody a notice right as to how their copays
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: were going to change, right, And all of these boomers
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: listened to their TVs and all of the TV stations
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: were like, oh, impoverished seniors are going to have to
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: choose between prescription drugs and food, right, and you know
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: they're going to be eating cat food. And so they
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: start coming to her because she's like, she was the
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: president of the condo board in her in her seniors building,
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: and they start coming to her and bitching and moaning,
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: and she's just like, did you actually read the notice?
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: They're adjusting it according to income, right, So the starving
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: cat ladies who have to eat cat food, right, the
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: impoverse seniors who have to eat cat food won't have
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: to pay anything at all, right, and those of us
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: who are better off will have to pay a little
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: bit more. By the way, Francie, that tan really suits you.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: The weather in the Mediterranean must have been really nice.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: I just I'm looking.
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: She always gets that jab in at the end, but
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: very politely. Yeah, like you're too rich to fucking bitch
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: and moan about this.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I just I've been looking at the special chat
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: as we as we go through, and it's like, okay,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: let's just bring this down to brass tacks. Everybody who
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: wanted this guy in wanted Carnean. A lot of you
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: wanted him in because he was gonna go elbows up
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: with Trump. And now we've seen how he acts towards Trump.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: He is obsequious, he is starstruck, he is slobbering, he
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: is flirtatious. The man. He's almost to the point where
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: just getting on his knees and saying, Trump, may I
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: do a bit of gobbling for you? You know, Like this
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: guy is not gobbling? Is this what you This is
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: what your votes bought? Like, look at this. You have
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: been conned this man. And I knew this for the start,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: Like I looked at this, I'm like, yeah, there's nothing
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: gonna this. This is he's gonna talk about. Did you
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: think he was gonna go in here and he was
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: gonna high stick Trump.
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: Lay down, lay down the law.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: He's gonna lay down the law.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: He's gonna do no further.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: He's gonna do a lot of militarized finger wagging, just
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: really fast, you know. And he's like, get in the corner,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: mister Trump, you gotta put on your dun's cap. What
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: did you want from this? Why did you vote? Why
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: did this become a platform? Why did this become a
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: plank in the liberal platform? Right? Is this what you
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: thought you were gonna get?
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: This?
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: Just ask yourself that, just stop bliviating and strutting around,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: Bulviate and whatever, strutting around and ask yourself was this
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: worth it? Was this everything you wanted it to be?
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: Is this what you planned?
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: Is this what I purchased?
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: Is this what I purchased? And the more you laugh,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: the more it's obvious that you were had so obviously
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: had and this was so important. It was so important
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: that carne go elbows up to Trump, right? So important?
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: Did it happen?
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: No? It didn't.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: He couldn't. He could not be more wrapped around Trump
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: then he was than if he was an actual stripper.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: After Trump's last one thousand dollars bill, like the man
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: is freaking wrapped around the Trump's mint like pinky finger,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: And if you hate Trump, why do you like this
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: man wrapped around his pinky finger? Why do you like him?
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: Why? Why do if you like if you hate Trump,
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: why do you like the man that Trump endorsed more
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: than once?
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: Yes? Like, why do you like this guy so much?
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: Why do you think he's your advocate if you're so
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: anti Trump, when he's so obviously pro Trump in all
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: of his body language, all of his statements. And I'm
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: gonna go through them. Let's go through these statements.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: Okay, okay, yes, because because I got I gotta go
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: in forty five minutes, so yes, you know, we'll see
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: how much we can get through.
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: They want to congratulate it. Probably one of the greatest
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: comebacks in the history of politics, maybe even greater than mine.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: But I want to just congratulate you. That was a
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: great election. Actually we were watching it with interest, and
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: I think Canada chose a very talented person, a very
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: good person. As we spoke before the election quite a
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: few times. And it's an honor to have you at
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: the White House and the Oval Office, and you see
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: the new and improved Oval Office as it becomes more
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: and more beautiful with love, you know, we handle it
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: with great love. And twenty four carrot goal that always
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: helps too. But it's it's been a lot of fun,
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: which going over some of the beautiful pictures that I.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: Have to I have to confess I do find Trump funny. Yeah,
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: he's very amusing.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: I don't like, I don't like his sense of aesthetics.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: I hate the goal.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: No, it's absolutely fucking hideous.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: The pink granite and the goal needs to someone to
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: go into his brain and cauterize the gold region. Yeah,
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: and that the pink granite region.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Okay, I'm gonna move it. I'm gonna do it like
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: at one point five and see if you can get
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: through this a little faster.
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: In the vaults that were for many, many years, in
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: some cases over one hundred years, it was stored involves
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: of the great president almost great presidents, and I will
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: accept that word and that we are going to stop
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: the immediately.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: Marco.
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: Everybody know that.
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: Relevant? Yeah, well it is.
- 1:07:32Speaker 6: It is relevant the dance weaponry, that wast and global
- 1:07:34Speaker 6: shipping and the job is to get okay.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: It is. It is relevant in the sense that he
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: has a big announcement to make Okay Thursday, Friday, next
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: Monday that I think will probably and this is my prediction.
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: Uh So it's based on just nothing other than the
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: lead up to what he when he said he was
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: going to be making a big, big, exciting announcement. It's
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: I think that he's going to have Saudi Arabia join
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: the Abraham Accords.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: Yeah, so Donnie's Big Gay Gun Club says Mega is
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: a mental illness suffered by divisional closet queens with daddy issues.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Closet queen with daddy issues. I could go with that,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: but honestly, my problem is everybody is so bloody hysterical. Okay,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: you guys, I wish I wish the world would take
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: a step back and start thinking about the election of
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: their leaders, like voting on their plumber. Yeah, just just like, Okay,
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: we're all just going to vote on Ted the plumber,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: who's going to fix our plumbing. Right, We're not We're
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: not voting for a king. We're not voting for Hitler, Satan,
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: We're not voting for God or Saviors. We're just voting
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: for a plumber. Let's see his Let's see his stev
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: Let's see his previous jobs. Does he do good work,
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: is he on time? Is he efficient? Does he come
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: in under budget? These kinds of things, And that's that
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: is that is all I want. I don't even advocate
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: for any particular candidate. I think it's hilarious how gigantic
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: a con Carney has has played on the people who
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: voted for him because he was he was like, what
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: he's gonna go, He's gonna go body check Donald Trump.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: And what do we see but the most obsequious behavior you.
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: Could possibly Yeah, no, and and and this this this
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: uh kind of tangent that Trump goes on, you know,
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: like ooh the Oval Office and ooh the houties and
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: ooh the Panama Canal and ooh this and ooh that right,
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: and you know, like and are you a word in?
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: And Carney, Carney's like basically sitting there going like, okay,
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: are we gonna get to like anything to do with Canada? Right,
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: And like that's that's a power move. I mean, like
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: you see you see Trump when he shakes hands, and
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: even Carrie Lake has done this too. Right, when he
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: shakes hands with somebody who's like an adversary who he
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: sees as a threat, right, He'll he'll grab their hand
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: and then he'll pull them really close, and he won't
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: let go of the hand, right, and they'll shake it
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: for a while, right while they're standing uncomfortably close. And
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: and that's a power move. And and going off on
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: these tangents about the deck Gretzky and you know, but
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: but going off on these tangents about like the Oval
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: office redecoration and the uties and all of these other
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: things right when it's supposed to be uh, a presser
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: about Canada, right, is his way of putting Carnie on
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: a back burner. They're more important thing than you, Carne
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: and your little country.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Yeah, and I wanted to I do actually want to
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: speak to this whole thing like they talk. He talks
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: about Canada or the US subsidizing Canada, and Canada not
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: being important and all of that stuff, And I disagree.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: I think Canada is vitally important to the future, specifically
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Western Canada. I don't know what the hell they're doing
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: in the East, but Western Canada resources are going to
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: be a very coveted thing because as we as we
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: move from this current economy, we and the economic prosperity
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: that we enjoyed because of a very specific event that
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: happened almost ninety years ago, as we, as we lose that,
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: resources are going to play a bigger and bigger role
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: in the future. Not that they always they always did,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: but they're going to play an even bigger role in
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: the importance of nations. And Canada has a huge amount.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: We have in Western Canada. We have almost as much
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: resources as Russia, but like one tent or one maybe
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: like one tenth the popular No, that's one fifth the population.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: And Greenland is in the same situation. You got to
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: look at the term in terms of resources to population ratio,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: the most desirable places of the places with large amount
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: of resources and very little population. So we have a
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: huge amount of resources, and so that makes us a
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: pivotal sort of at least in the West, pivotal part
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: of the future going forward. But the other thing is
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: that there's some some errors. And I know that Trump
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: is probably doing what you're saying. He's dominating the conversation
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: and he's probably seeing if Carnie is even going to
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: correct it, because I think Pollia would have actually corrected
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: him on a few points.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: On what point, the two hundred billion dollars subsidy, Yeah,
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: the two hundred billion dollars that is that is, I mean,
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: the terminology. You could argue the semantics of it, but
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: there's a two hundred billion dollar trade deficit, yes, but
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: the well, and that trade deficit fuels our economy, right,
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: So our economy survived because of that two hundred billion dollars.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: But it also fuels the American economy because what happens
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: is that they are importing Canadian creude at a significantly
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: like a lower rate from market value, and then they
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: are refining it and selling it at market value. So
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: that also contributes to the American economy. Now, when you
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: strip that away, Canada is actually America's biggest customer, like
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: around the world where we we import the most American goods.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: So he could have put pointed this stuff out. I
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: don't think Carnie does. He just sits there waiting to speak,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: like waiting for Trump's autograph. Oh could you get could
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: get could you autograph my could you autograph my butt cheek? Trump?
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: But I can autograph your kitties?
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: Yeah, like get them to slap him out there, Carney,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: I'll give you an autograph on that. But it's like
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: that these are things that he could have brought up,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: he should have brought up. I'm not sure. I haven't
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: watched this all very carefully, so maybe he did correct
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: me in the comments below, But this is like, you
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: don't have to completely let this guy steamroll over you,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: which is what he did. There's no there's no high
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: sticking or checking going on in this by CARNEYE. In this,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: there's no there's not even like could you could you
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: just not just beam like and steal.
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: A puck or something?
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: Yeah, just just do just do something like, just don't
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: just just rock back and forth and look like you're
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: in awe.
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: And then look like you want to say something and
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: then like just not say anything.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, let's keep going. Oops.
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I shouldn't say that, you. But no, he ran
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: a really in essentially through the ranks when he wasn't
- 1:15:04Speaker 3: given much of a chance, and he did. He ran
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: a really great campaign. He did a really great debate.
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: I think that debate was very helpful. I was gonna
- 1:15:10Speaker 3: raise my hand, you know. I don't know if that's good.
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: Bet.
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: I shouldn't say that.
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: But that might hurt you.
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: But no, he ran a really great election, I thought,
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: And yeah, something could happen. Something could happen. Yeah, please
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: Concession friendship, ah, just I just we're gonna be friends
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: with Canada, regardless of anything. We're gonna be friends with Canada.
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: Canada is a very special place to make. I know
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: so many people that live in Canada. My parents had
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: relatives that lived in Canada, my mother in particular, and
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: uh no, I love Canada a lot of I have
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: a lot of respect for the Canadians. Wayne Gretzky, I mean,
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: how good the great one. You happen to have a
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: very very good hockey player right here on the capitals
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: who I have a lot of is he is a
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: big tough cookie too. It just broke the record, and
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: he's a great guy. And uh, you know, we had
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: the we had the team here and I got you know,
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: is this But now the Canada is.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: Like, why wouldn't Carnie take the opportunity to explain what
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: the US actually gets from Canada besides Wayne Gretzky.
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: Okay, and the US actually got Wayne Gretzky, So yeahs.
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: Canada. No, no, well I still believe that. But but.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Okay, honestly, I think this is the new goal, This
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: is the new thing that we're aiming for now.
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: Yeah. No, it it's well, it's at least it's at
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: this point. It's now the unreasonable opening bid.
- 1:16:49Speaker 3: Yeah it takes two to tango, right, But no, I
- 1:16:52Speaker 3: do I mean, I believe it would be a massive
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: tax cut for the Canadian citizens. Uh, you get free
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: military get tremendous medical cares and other things. There would
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: be a lot of advantages, but it would be it
- 1:17:04Speaker 3: would be a massive tax cut.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: And I'm gonna tell you why he's talking like this,
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: because again it's the resources. We're sitting on a gigantic
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: amount of resources in a very low population base. So theoretically,
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: if the US wanted to do a payout, it's actually
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: very feasible, and they would still they would still be
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: ahead in the bargain.
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: Go ahead, care if you if you look at if
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: you look at per capita GDP in Canada by province, right,
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: the two provinces that or the two regions right, because
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: by province and territory the two the two highest per
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: capita GDP over one hundred thousand per capita is none
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: of it and Northwest Territories right, And it's not because
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: they're particularly resource rich compared with their to the can
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: of Canada. It's because they have sparse populations. Yukon is
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: I think Yukon is the next one after Alberta, and
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: then I think so it's Northwest Territories no Nunava, Alberta, Yukon,
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: and then Saskatchewan per cab to gdp mm hmm, and
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: so that that's basically the ratio of resources to population, right.
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: So yeah, no, it's it's you are right, like we
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: are right for the plucking. We have a whole bunch
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: of stuff and not a whole whole bunch of people
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: to protect it.
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: Nope, and not a whole bunch of people to pay
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: off if you want that stuff.
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: So I mean that's that's why we're He's starting the
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: conversation and he keeps bringing it up, and I think
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: it's because he's normalizing it. I'm pretty sure, Like I'm
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: pretty sure these guys know about how to manipulate people
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: emotionally and get them on the same page. And the
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: more you the more people get used to it, the
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: more it gets normalized, the more you talk about it,
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: the more you can just start to realize it. You
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: just introduce the concept, let it float with people. You
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: know what I've noticed, you introduce the concept, people get
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: really upset, and then a month later they say, oh, yeah,
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: this is my idea. Yeah, so, I mean I think
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: that this is what's happening there, but let's keep going.
- 1:19:43Speaker 3: Come on, and it's also a beautiful you know, as
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: a real estate developer. You know, I'm a real estate
- 1:19:48Speaker 3: developer at heart. When you get rid of that artificially
- 1:19:50Speaker 3: drawing line, somebody drew that line many years ago with
- 1:19:52Speaker 3: like a ruler, just a straight line right across the
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: top of the country. When you look at that beautiful
- 1:19:56Speaker 3: formation when it's together, I'm a very artistic person. But
- 1:20:00Speaker 3: when I looked at that beauty, I said, that's the
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: way it was meant to be. But you know, it's
- 1:20:03Speaker 3: a I just I do feel it's much better for Canada.
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: But we're not going to be discussing that unless somebody
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: wants to discuss it. I think that there are tremendous
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: benefits to the Canadian citizens, tremendously lower taxes, free military,
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: which honestly will give you essentially anyway because we're protecting
- 1:20:19Speaker 3: Canada if you have had a problem.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: Oh my god, I didn't even I even see this part.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: Carl's just sitting there, well while Trump is talking about
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: all of the benefits to Canada for becoming the fifty
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: first state.
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: And he's trying to get a word in edgewise, but
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: he can't. But he can't.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: Is this is this your is this your elbows up?
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: Is it liberals, He's gonna just sit there and he's
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: not even gonna he's not even gonna push back on
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: any of it. I bet Poliev would have. I bet
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: he would have, or at.
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: Least he's he's a little bit like Hannah.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: Yeah, he would have just bulldozed his way in there
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: and said a second, wait a second, why are we
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: Why are we talking about this as if it's either
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: a fate, a complay, a comply or that this is
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: something that's that that is within the realm of happening.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: But he's just letting Trump go on and on and on.
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: He's letting Trump sell the idea. This is what Trump
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: is doing right now. He is selling the idea of
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: Canada as the fifty first state. What is what is
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: Carnie doing? Hmm, I wonder what. I wonder what he'd
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: kicked back? He'd give me, Oh, I think we could
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: arrange we could arrange something. How much wealth will I
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: get from this net zero? My ass? Okay? You know,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: I honestly think a lot of these politicians invest in
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: these issues because these kind of net zero technologies, because
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: they have they're not held to any standard, So you
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: can just dumb money in them. They're like money pits.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: You just dumb money, dump money, dump money, and then
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: they can skim off the top and nobody questions it
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: because you know, we're saving the planet by.
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: Making this one richer. Yeah, don't you want to save
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: the planet?
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: Man? Yes, save the planet by making this man richer,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: ensuring that Canada's resources aren't developed by people who are
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: actually going to be environmentally responsible. They're going to end
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: up being developed by Russia, China, and if we're lucky
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: the US, all right, let's keep going.
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: But I think you know it's it would really be
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: a wonderful marriage because it's it's two places. They get
- 1:22:30Speaker 3: along very well, they like each other a lot.
- 1:22:32Speaker 6: Well, if i'm as you know from real estate, there
- 1:22:36Speaker 6: are some places that are never for sale. We're sitting
- 1:22:39Speaker 6: in one right now, you know, bucking In Palace. You
- 1:22:41Speaker 6: visit it as well. And having met with the owners
- 1:22:44Speaker 6: of Canada over the what the hell.
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: Does that mean? Okay? So I just want to I
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: wanted to drill down into this because I actually am
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: reading a book called Charisma Effect or something, and what
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: he just did here is patent lying like it's it's
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: the it's the wording that liars use. Specifically, he is
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: distancing himself from the Canadian citizens with this the owners
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: of Canada, right, he is not including himself as a
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: Canadian citizen when he talks about this. If you did,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: he said, you know us Canadians, we don't Canada is
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: and for sale or something. Canadians like me.
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: He hasn't lived in Canada for like twenty years.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: Yes, but this is distancing language. He does not see
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: his future or his interests as as part of Canada's interests.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: He's seeing those two things separately. That's what he's saying
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: with this language.
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: Do you remember Michael.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: There remembers and my interests?
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: Do you remember Michael Natief.
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: No, you're gonna have to give me enlightenment.
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: He ran, He ran as I think, as the Liberal
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: leader in one of the elections I think, against Stephen Harper,
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: and and he lost because he had lived in the
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: United States for the previous fifteen years or thirty years
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: or something like that. And then he just came back
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: to Canada in time to like win the leadership of
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: the Liberal Party and run as their run for prime minister. Yeah.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: Yeah, no, except when it comes to wexit. The West
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: has to stay Canadian even though we're post national, should
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: feel ashamed for the cultural inheritance of our nation.
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah no we we oh yeah no,
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: we're post national, but we have to stay Canadian and
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: it's just yeah no, I'm I'm so fucking done with
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: this country.
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm. I never thought I would
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: get to this point because I was always proud of
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: my country. But I'm ton with the fuckery.
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: Oh no, I was never proud of of Canada. You
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: can't be proud of a country that allocates seats in
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: Parliament and senators in the Senate in a completely lopsided way,
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: Like why why do why does Alberta have more people
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: in every riding than U p e I and Nova
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: Scotia and New Brunswick and even areas of Ontario and Quebec. Right,
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: so we have we do not have proportional representation in
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: at all. This is something Orleans nor in the Senate
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: right Like in the US, the representation is like the
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: worst case in the US of disproportionate representation is Wyoming, right,
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: because they have one congressional seat and it doesn't have
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: as many people as almost all the other congressional districts
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: in the country, because that's the entire population of the state, right,
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: So they have to have at least one seat in
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: the House of Representatives, and they have to have at
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: least two senators because every state gets two senators. Well,
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: here in Canada we allocate senators, not two per province,
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: which I would go for. That would like really make
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: things kind of better if there were two senators per province,
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: no matter the the population of the province.
- 1:27:04Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: And but even our House of Representatives, the House of Parliament,
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: the House of Commons, right, is not proportional. The West
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: gets shafted. We end up having like these gigantic ridings
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: with way more people than we should, right, whereas Nova Scotia,
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: New Brunswick and and Eastern and Central Canada have smaller
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: amounts of people in each riding, right, which means they
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: have proportionally more representation in the House of Commons. And
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: it's and like this is all coming out of Central Canada, right,
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: All of these decisions are coming out of Ottawa, right,
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: with heavy influence from Quebec, because Quebec is the the
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: disgruntled teenager in the fuck house, right And it's always
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: like it's it's literally, if you want to talk about
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: Quebec disgruntled teenager, the teenager who's like, I fucking hate
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: this fucking family, right well, stucking all the resources, bullying
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: everybody else. Right, and then it's like, if you don't
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: do more for me, I'm gonna leave. But you're not
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: gonna change the locks.
- 1:28:28Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: I can keep the key, and I can bring my
- 1:28:30Speaker 2: laundry home to do, and I can raid the fridge,
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: and you're gonna send care packages, right, Right, That's been
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: Quebec's attitude. That's why seventy five percent of Equalization money
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: since nineteen fifty seven, since the plan began, since the
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: program began, seventy five percent of Equalization money has been
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: consumed by Quebec. Right, that's a fucking travesty. Pay your
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: own fucking way, Quebec. Okay, either that or shit or
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: get off the pot, okay, because I'm sick of you
- 1:29:05Speaker 2: holding this whole oh, Quebec sovereignty. You wouldn't survive, right
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: because you can't pay your own way. Right. And right now,
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: all of Canada except Alberta and BC and maybe Saskatchewan, right,
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: all of us can't pay all own way.
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: Okay, So just to clarify to you, to just just
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: summarize what Karen is saying. I'm just showing a electoral
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: map of Canada. Let me get this all up here. Now,
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: the top left is Canada. Now you have to understand
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: in Canada.
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: Conservative verse colors are reversed.
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: The colors are reversed. The blue is conservative in Canada.
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: As you can see, almost all of the West is conservative.
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: Now you my province is the one in the middle
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: that split blue and red. Trust me. The Northern Saskatchewan
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: has like ten people, right.
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: Yeah, the Northern Saskatchewan too many blackflies?
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: Yeah this, Yeah, nobody wants to be in Northern Saskatchewan.
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: But there's not a lot of people there. And basically
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: that was probably Indigenous Canadians voting for treaty rights because
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: they think that somehow getting.
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: Us the liberals will uphold those better than the.
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: Yeah, even the Liberals won't create an economy that can
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: pay them out. But anyway, so this is if the
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: top left, that's what it sort of plays out to. Now,
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: so this is like very strongly Western Canada is is
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: more conservative. So it's not an issue that all Canadians
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: voted for this man. We didn't, right, there was a
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: significant portion of us in the West who said hell no.
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: But the problem is that our vote doesn't matter.
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: Like Ontario and Quebec decied every election.
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: Yeah, Ontario, Quebec, Quebec. Quebec wants to seed from the Union.
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: And then now we have a situation where it's the
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: Liberals and probably Quebec the Quebec bloc that's going to
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: going to make all the decisions for our country going forward.
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: So it'll just be whatever the Liberals want, plus Quebec's
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: whatever they want for themselves specifically. But what's what happened
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: in the last three months is that we went from
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: most likely a Conservative majority over the entire country.
- 1:31:46Speaker 2: To the entire country. It was it was the Conservatives
- 1:31:50Speaker 2: were polling at fifty six percent in September uh in
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: across nationwide, excluding Quebec. And Quebec is unique because they
- 1:31:59Speaker 2: have their own federal party that only looks out for them,
- 1:32:03Speaker 2: because that makes sense. But but yeah, no, fifty six percent,
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: so we were the Conservatives was set to take a majority,
- 1:32:12Speaker 2: and then they did the switch eraroo with this fucking asshole.
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: Right that nobody knew, and he didn't give anybody time
- 1:32:18Speaker 2: to get to know who he was. He made he
- 1:32:23Speaker 2: the moment he was sworn in, he called an election,
- 1:32:27Speaker 2: said it for the quickest freaking time possible, and then
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: just crossed his fingers and hoped that nobody would discover
- 1:32:37Speaker 2: all of his skeletons before election day and that paid off.
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: Mm hmmm, well they didn't. Just apparently didn't care about
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: the fact that he's actually very close with Trump, much
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: closer than Polyev.
- 1:32:52Speaker 2: No, No, it's not that they didn't care, it's that
- 1:32:55Speaker 2: they didn't know.
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: Okay, I you know what, I honestly think the man
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: just sold the feeling and it didn't matter. Facts didn't
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: matter at all.
- 1:33:03Speaker 2: Now, well, facts didn't matter at all. But but you know,
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: media are our media that is funded only by the
- 1:33:11Speaker 2: liberal governments, right, Okay, All the conservative position is no
- 1:33:17Speaker 2: media should be government funded. There's no need for it anymore.
- 1:33:22Speaker 2: It used to be just because you needed public funds
- 1:33:27Speaker 2: to install radio towers in remote areas.
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 1:33:31Speaker 2: Yeah, we don't have that problem anymore. We have starlink
- 1:33:35Speaker 2: if nothing else. Okay, you can get you can get
- 1:33:39Speaker 2: internet access in fucking Towed River, BC. Okay, which is
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: like right up on the border of the Yukon. It's
- 1:33:47Speaker 2: like it's not even a town. It's it's like a
- 1:33:51Speaker 2: hotel and a gas station and a restaurant and like
- 1:33:55Speaker 2: five houses. That's all it is. And and it's like,
- 1:34:02Speaker 2: you know, it's positioned probably if you were traveling by horse,
- 1:34:06Speaker 2: a full day's horse ride from the next town. Right,
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: this is how these little tiny out outposts used to
- 1:34:18Speaker 2: be placed. Right. And and you're so I'm just like,
- 1:34:22Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, So the CBC was not interested in
- 1:34:29Speaker 2: unmasking carneye at all. Right, And on election night they
- 1:34:34Speaker 2: couldn't control their giddiness right when it was when the
- 1:34:39Speaker 2: CBC called, uh, the election early too early?
- 1:34:44Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:34:44Speaker 2: It they turned out to be right, But they called
- 1:34:47Speaker 2: a liberal win way earlier in the evening than than
- 1:34:50Speaker 2: they had any reason to right for Carney. And they
- 1:34:55Speaker 2: were they were practically like, you know, rolling around in
- 1:34:59Speaker 2: fuck in you know, champagne, right, celebrating, you know, oh,
- 1:35:08Speaker 2: what a relief, what a relief Carney won?
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: Yeah, and again right, but that what happened in the
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: last three months is that Carnie ran on the anti
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: Trump platform.
- 1:35:21Speaker 7: Yeah, and he wouldn't have had He wouldn't have had
- 1:35:23Speaker 7: a fucking wouldn't He wouldn't have had a leg to
- 1:35:28Speaker 7: stand on there if Trump hadn't pulled this tariff bullshit.
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: Yeah. But but here's the thing why.
- 1:35:36Speaker 2: I'm mad at him. I'm not. I don't blame him.
- 1:35:39Speaker 2: I can't blame him for advocating for his country. Okay,
- 1:35:44Speaker 2: but you know he is responsible for this. You know,
- 1:35:50Speaker 2: he's not culpable. He's not like he shouldn't be punished
- 1:35:53Speaker 2: for it. It's like, it's not like, it's not like
- 1:35:56Speaker 2: I can hold it against him, because he's only doing
- 1:35:58Speaker 2: what he thought was right for him his country, which
- 1:36:00Speaker 2: is what all fucking leaders should be doing for us.
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: Yes, yes, but but I I honestly think that am
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: I frozen?
- 1:36:11Speaker 2: No?
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: No, I'm not. Okay, So I just I, you know what,
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: I I suspect that this is a con. And like again,
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: I suspect that that Donald Trump was in on it,
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: Carney's in on it. They both knew what they were doing.
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: I don't blame Trump because, uh, you know, at some
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: point there are some cons where you feel bad for
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: the victim, and some cons are like you, you were
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: getting you, you invited that you and you invited it.
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: But that is the that is the platform that Carney
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: ran on, the anti Trump platform, and if anything, he
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: is the one that Trump wanted, right, He is the
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: one that Trump wanted because he's going to do the
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: things that Trump wants him to do. And also he
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: probably can be bought. I don't know if Polyev could
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: be bought. I think it's less likely, but this man
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: can be. But he doesn't think of himself as Canadian.
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: He doesn't refer to himself as Canadian. I spoke to
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: the owners of Canada. I don't know if he means
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: King Charles or Canadian citizens, but either way, he's not
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: putting himself in the same group as Canadian citizens. In
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: that statement, he thinks that he is separate. That means
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: he thinks his interests are separate from the Canadian people
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: or possibly King Charles. I don't know what he's referring
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: to here. It's a very weird of a sort of statement,
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: but this is what he voted for, and you voted
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: for specifically because you were conned they did a classic
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: let's pretend to be enemies to get our ultimate goal.
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: And like again, I can't blame Trump because his ultimate
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: goal is the benefit of the American people. Cardie's ultimate
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: goal is the benefit of himself. Congratulations, you basically voted
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: for Donald Trump's partner in crime. Do you feel good now?
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: Do you feel good now? This is this what you
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: wanted Canada and that's specifically what happened in the last
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: three months. But okay, so let's let's continue with more
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: of this this. There's a there's a there's a woman
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: I watch Jasmine Lane. Oh yeah, she was really up.
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: It wasn't even the she says, that wasn't even the
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: election that made her feel sick to her stomach like
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: this again. The reason why she feels sick to her stomach,
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: The reason why is because this man came in on
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: the platform of being anti Trump, and the first thing
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: he does when he's in the.
- 1:38:40Speaker 2: Presence of Trump dick his tongue three yards up Trump's buttle.
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, what was that?
- 1:38:48Speaker 8: That was a completely stolen election. And I don't mean
- 1:38:52Speaker 8: there was any voter fraud. I'm absolutely one percent believe
- 1:38:55Speaker 8: that people can be taken in by connartists who sell
- 1:39:00Speaker 8: feeling like this man did. But he doesn't even have
- 1:39:02Speaker 8: the integrity to the next time he visits Trump to
- 1:39:06Speaker 8: even look slightly contrary, and somebody in the special chat said, oh,
- 1:39:11Speaker 8: but he said that Canada.
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: Was not for sale. Okay, let's go on, let's get
- 1:39:16Speaker 1: into that. Well, first of all, again it's making this
- 1:39:19Speaker 1: gigantic differential between himself and his interests and the interests
- 1:39:23Speaker 1: of whoever he's referring to as the owners of Canada.
- 1:39:26Speaker 1: So what is Carneie a real estate agent or is
- 1:39:29Speaker 1: he the real estate agent of King Charles?
- 1:39:32Speaker 2: Like, yeah, he didn't. He didn't say I've talked to
- 1:39:36Speaker 2: my people. I've talked to you know, I talked to
- 1:39:38Speaker 2: the fellows, fellow Canadians. I've talked to the voters.
- 1:39:42Speaker 1: I've talked to I talked to the owners of Canada.
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: Ambiguous statement. Also again, that means that he's he doesn't
- 1:39:49Speaker 1: consider himself part of whoever he considers owning Canada. All right,
- 1:39:55Speaker 1: let's continue, of course of.
- 1:39:57Speaker 6: The campaign last several months. It's not for sale, won't
- 1:40:00Speaker 6: be for sale ever. But the opportunity is in the
- 1:40:04Speaker 6: partnership and what we can build together, and we have
- 1:40:06Speaker 6: done that in the past.
- 1:40:07Speaker 1: And everybody's saying, oh, he won't be for sale ever, yeah.
- 1:40:12Speaker 6: Part of that, as the President just said, that's the.
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: Part that the liberal media cut out. And I'm guessing
- 1:40:18Speaker 1: the people in the chat, the special Chat are saying, oh,
- 1:40:21Speaker 1: but he said that he took a strong stance. Let's
- 1:40:25Speaker 1: keep listening.
- 1:40:26Speaker 6: Is with respect to our own security, and my government
- 1:40:29Speaker 6: is committed for a step change in our investment in
- 1:40:32Speaker 6: Canadian security and our partnership. And I'll say this as well,
- 1:40:35Speaker 6: that the president has revitalized international security, revitalized NATO and
- 1:40:40Speaker 6: us playing our full weight in NATO.
- 1:40:42Speaker 1: And that will be part that is good because we
- 1:40:45Speaker 1: needed to be doing that. Maybe next time the Russians
- 1:40:50Speaker 1: do war games up in the Arctic, we can not
- 1:40:53Speaker 1: pretend that they're picnicking. Oh, they're just communing with the seals.
- 1:40:58Speaker 1: They're doing some real.
- 1:41:02Speaker 3: They have the way I must say, Canada is stepping
- 1:41:04Speaker 3: up the military participation because Mark new you know, they
- 1:41:08Speaker 3: were low and now they're stepping it up. And that's
- 1:41:10Speaker 3: a very important thing. But never say never.
- 1:41:12Speaker 1: There you go. This is that, this is the part
- 1:41:14Speaker 1: that he pushes back. And look at the body language here,
- 1:41:20Speaker 1: the body language of Trump. I mean it's a bit teasing, yeah,
- 1:41:25Speaker 1: but it's also schooling that that fingers up, never say
- 1:41:29Speaker 1: never because he knows something. Yeah, let's see how Let's
- 1:41:34Speaker 1: see how Carney responds to basically Trump, everybody's making on
- 1:41:38Speaker 1: the left is making. Oh, he said that Canada will
- 1:41:41Speaker 1: never be for sale, and then Trump responded to that,
- 1:41:44Speaker 1: never say never. And let's see how Carney response. That's
- 1:41:58Speaker 1: his response? Is it? That doesn't even look like that's
- 1:42:03Speaker 1: that uncomfortable. It's like it's like they're fucking they're flirting.
- 1:42:08Speaker 2: Mm hmmm.
- 1:42:09Speaker 1: Hardy's like, oh you naughty, mister president. You pitched my
- 1:42:12Speaker 1: bum nutty nutty. Oh god, this is what you This
- 1:42:19Speaker 1: is what you bought with your votes liberal Canada boomer women.
- 1:42:26Speaker 1: Oh President, Oh you're being still naughty later later, oh
- 1:42:34Speaker 1: oh god, damn. And is this like all the things
- 1:42:38Speaker 1: I'm totally unbarred with jessic and Lane's or Jasmine Lane.
- 1:42:42Speaker 1: This is really it's real kick in the kick in
- 1:42:47Speaker 1: the delicate bits. This is because why is this man there?
- 1:42:53Speaker 1: Because a whole bunch of people thought he was going
- 1:42:57Speaker 1: to be elbows up with Trump, while yeah, he elbows up,
- 1:43:01Speaker 1: he's rubbing them. Yeah, they're getting at really, they're getting
- 1:43:04Speaker 1: a lot of friction there enough to start a fire
- 1:43:07Speaker 1: with all that rubbing.
- 1:43:10Speaker 2: Maybe he's just given the the no hands happy ending.
- 1:43:16Speaker 1: Oh who knows, Yeah, exactly, no hands happy ending.
- 1:43:22Speaker 2: Yeah, like they have to do in like Inland. Yeah,
- 1:43:26Speaker 2: according to Russell Peters, oh good lord.
- 1:43:30Speaker 1: But that this, this is it, like this, this is
- 1:43:33Speaker 1: this is what she wanted. This is this is what
- 1:43:36Speaker 1: the whole election became about. And now it's gone like
- 1:43:39Speaker 1: a fart in the wind, and nobody voted because of this.
- 1:43:44Speaker 1: Nobody He's going to mention it.
- 1:43:47Speaker 2: Yeah, no, And it's like it's it's like, okay, so
- 1:43:51Speaker 2: the affordability crisis is still looming, right, It's still it's
- 1:43:55Speaker 2: still as bad as ever. Right, Carney's not going to
- 1:44:00Speaker 2: He's not going to relax or incentivize the relaxing of
- 1:44:04Speaker 2: regulations for new construction or even for his tiny little
- 1:44:09Speaker 2: modular homes that he's invested in to be placed in
- 1:44:13Speaker 2: existing neighborhoods, you know, as infill or anything like that.
- 1:44:17Speaker 2: He's not going to be doing that. No, He's basically like, okay,
- 1:44:23Speaker 2: let me let me just explain something. I live in
- 1:44:26Speaker 2: a neighborhood that started in the late nineteen forties. Okay,
- 1:44:31Speaker 2: it is eight minutes from downtown Edmonton by car. It's
- 1:44:37Speaker 2: it's a probably about a ten minute walk to a
- 1:44:41Speaker 2: grocery store and two medical clinics and two far three
- 1:44:49Speaker 2: four pharmacies, five sorry, five pharmacies, and basically everything. Even
- 1:44:59Speaker 2: it's even a ten minut walk to a vet clinic, right,
- 1:45:02Speaker 2: and gas station, convenience dollar store, probably fifteen or twenty
- 1:45:09Speaker 2: restaurants right within a fifteen minute walk. It's like an
- 1:45:12Speaker 2: accidental fifteen minute city, right, that just happened. It wasn't designed,
- 1:45:19Speaker 2: it wasn't planned this way, but it's full of mostly
- 1:45:21Speaker 2: like tiny, tiny little nineteen fifties bungalows on gigantic lots. Right,
- 1:45:28Speaker 2: because people used to in that day and age, they
- 1:45:30Speaker 2: used to have gardens and stuff like vegetable gardens and
- 1:45:33Speaker 2: things like that. Right, so you know, they wanted big yards,
- 1:45:36Speaker 2: and mothers were home with the kids, and so the
- 1:45:40Speaker 2: kids needed a place to play outside and stuff. Right
- 1:45:45Speaker 2: because back then, when people got married, the woman generally
- 1:45:52Speaker 2: stayed home or worked from home, did like piecework and
- 1:45:57Speaker 2: stuff in home, like I don't know, mending the neighbor's clothes,
- 1:46:02Speaker 2: or like babysitting other people's kids or whatever. Right, and
- 1:46:06Speaker 2: so anyway, we have this developer who's been operating in
- 1:46:14Speaker 2: the neighborhood for about twenty years now, and he buys
- 1:46:18Speaker 2: these the most dilapidated little bungalows and he knocks them down,
- 1:46:26Speaker 2: and he puts up particularly on corner lots. If you're
- 1:46:29Speaker 2: on a corner lot, you're like you he wants to
- 1:46:33Speaker 2: buy you out. And then he puts up duplexes and
- 1:46:38Speaker 2: four plexes. Right. And these are energy efficient permanent structures
- 1:46:45Speaker 2: with foundations that have their usually two stories with a
- 1:46:51Speaker 2: full basement and a full basement with legal egress windows,
- 1:46:57Speaker 2: which means you could actually put another living quarters, another
- 1:47:00Speaker 2: bedroom down there. And yeah, no, so two or three
- 1:47:05Speaker 2: bedroom units, right, low cost rental units that are that
- 1:47:12Speaker 2: are just going up kind of sporadically in in my neighborhood. Right.
- 1:47:16Speaker 2: And this is all private enterprise, nothing subsidized.
- 1:47:20Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:47:20Speaker 2: And and there's a ton of them. There's one that
- 1:47:23Speaker 2: just went up for sale, just got completed. There's another
- 1:47:26Speaker 2: one that's almost complete and will go up for sale
- 1:47:29Speaker 2: probably before the end of the summer. Right, four plex
- 1:47:32Speaker 2: with a four car garage and you know, and and uh,
- 1:47:39Speaker 2: very small, easy to maintain yard, right And so you've
- 1:47:43Speaker 2: got these these properties going up all over the place.
- 1:47:46Speaker 2: Oh and also an apartment building, a three story walk
- 1:47:49Speaker 2: up apartment building on the street closest to the grocery
- 1:47:54Speaker 2: store and the strip mall right, so you got you
- 1:47:57Speaker 2: got all these properties going up right that increase the
- 1:48:01Speaker 2: population of the neighborhood without having to increase without urban sprawl, right,
- 1:48:08Speaker 2: and all those things that nobody wants. And also it's
- 1:48:11Speaker 2: like so close to transit, including like an LRT station
- 1:48:15Speaker 2: light rapid transit rail station, you know, like super close
- 1:48:19Speaker 2: to everything. And so it's like that's just happening organically.
- 1:48:26Speaker 2: And it's happening organically in Edmonton here because if he
- 1:48:31Speaker 2: sees a house that he wants to buy and he
- 1:48:35Speaker 2: applies for permits, he goes online to the website and
- 1:48:40Speaker 2: he fills out one master form right with what he
- 1:48:46Speaker 2: wants to do. What are his He submits his plans,
- 1:48:52Speaker 2: his blueprints for the building, right and all of that stuff,
- 1:48:59Speaker 2: blueprints for the lot usage, you know, like where that
- 1:49:02Speaker 2: where's the house gonna sit, and you know, and and
- 1:49:06Speaker 2: all of that and uh, and you can often get
- 1:49:09Speaker 2: your permits approved all of them within a day, within
- 1:49:18Speaker 2: one day. Do you know how long it takes to
- 1:49:25Speaker 2: be able to do something like that in Ontario or
- 1:49:30Speaker 2: BC more than a year, un doubt it, more than
- 1:49:37Speaker 2: a year.
- 1:49:38Speaker 1: This is this is all the stuff that stops the economy.
- 1:49:41Speaker 2: Yes, and and Carney is just going to keep all
- 1:49:44Speaker 2: of that. Yeah, he's gonna keep all of it. He's
- 1:49:47Speaker 2: not gonna make these provinces like actually do what's right
- 1:49:52Speaker 2: and actually streamline their approval process. And it's not like
- 1:49:56Speaker 2: our approval process is like lax or not. You know
- 1:50:01Speaker 2: that we just let anybody build anything anywhere. No, there is,
- 1:50:06Speaker 2: But there's a template. There's a template of what time
- 1:50:11Speaker 2: types of buildings are allowed to be built on what
- 1:50:15Speaker 2: lots in what areas right, and how the lot usage
- 1:50:19Speaker 2: and layout should be right and all of that. And
- 1:50:23Speaker 2: there's a whole bunch of pre applute pre approved building
- 1:50:26Speaker 2: plans right for different duplexes, triplexes, four plexes, whatever, right,
- 1:50:35Speaker 2: or you know, single detached homes. Right, There's there's a
- 1:50:39Speaker 2: whole bunch of kind of preapproved plans that you can submit.
- 1:50:44Speaker 2: And then it's it's just like a matter of going
- 1:50:47Speaker 2: to one website and filling out one master form because
- 1:50:50Speaker 2: all of the approvals. All of the permits are consolidated
- 1:50:54Speaker 2: in one permit and the whole thing's automated. It's integrated
- 1:51:00Speaker 2: and automated. And that's why Edmonton is not suffering from
- 1:51:07Speaker 2: housing inflation the way all the other provinces are. Right,
- 1:51:14Speaker 2: Edmonton is is like our housing prices have not gone
- 1:51:17Speaker 2: up very substantially compared to the rest of Canada. And
- 1:51:25Speaker 2: it's because we're constantly replenishing our housing and we're not
- 1:51:30Speaker 2: doing it with government subsidies. We're doing it with a
- 1:51:33Speaker 2: streamlined process that harnesses the economic power of the private sector.
- 1:51:39Speaker 1: Yeah, and somebody says, Leanna Rabbit, do you people understand
- 1:51:43Speaker 1: the concept of municipal responsibility. I'm gonna tell you a
- 1:51:45Speaker 1: story about the concept of municipal responsibility. I was part
- 1:51:49Speaker 1: of a development project for my like my senior year
- 1:51:55Speaker 1: as an environmental designer in Fort McMurray, and one one
- 1:52:00Speaker 1: of the things that I found out was that in
- 1:52:03Speaker 1: the fifties, the people who are the mostly men who
- 1:52:07Speaker 1: engineered all of the infrastructure hookups for that town or
- 1:52:15Speaker 1: that city made sure that there was expansion room for
- 1:52:20Speaker 1: the future. This is something we don't do anymore. Instead
- 1:52:25Speaker 1: of looking forward and building for a future. We build
- 1:52:30Speaker 1: regulations that prevent that from happening. So don't talk to
- 1:52:35Speaker 1: me about municipal responsibility that's been lost. There's nobody today
- 1:52:40Speaker 1: who thinks like they did in Fort McMurray in the
- 1:52:43Speaker 1: fifties and thinking about their children and their grandchildren and
- 1:52:47Speaker 1: them being able to have houses and making sure the
- 1:52:49Speaker 1: infrastructure is already in place in the ground to do it.
- 1:52:53Speaker 1: All right, So anyway, let's uh, I think we were
- 1:52:56Speaker 1: pretty much. Brian come in from the dark and me,
- 1:53:00Speaker 1: do we have any because I have one last time code.
- 1:53:03Speaker 9: I got a super I got a super chow from
- 1:53:06Speaker 9: a while ago. Bread Indoors gave us five dollars and said,
- 1:53:11Speaker 9: question regarding the Canadian election results, because I haven't looked
- 1:53:15Speaker 9: into the specifics, was there any significant difference in the
- 1:53:19Speaker 9: way people voted in French speaking regions compared to English
- 1:53:22Speaker 9: speaking ones.
- 1:53:24Speaker 2: There always is, There always is. Nobody outside of Quebec
- 1:53:30Speaker 2: can vote block Quebecua.
- 1:53:35Speaker 9: All right, Well that was as far as I know.
- 1:53:38Speaker 3: That is it?
- 1:53:39Speaker 9: Let me just double.
- 1:53:40Speaker 2: Check block Quebecquah did lose seats this election, Yeah, and
- 1:53:46Speaker 2: all of them appear to have or most of them
- 1:53:49Speaker 2: appear to have gone to the liberals.
- 1:53:56Speaker 1: Okay, So if that's answered, I just want to do
- 1:53:59Speaker 1: a little bit more here. I'm not exactly sure why.
- 1:54:01Speaker 1: Lena Rabbit says, why then, why aren't why aren't talking
- 1:54:05Speaker 1: to city planners? Well, you fix your grammar so I
- 1:54:08Speaker 1: can understand what you're asking, Leander, or why.
- 1:54:10Speaker 2: Aren't Why aren't we talking to city planners? How? How
- 1:54:13Speaker 2: is it my responsibility to fix other cities? Right? My
- 1:54:18Speaker 2: city is fixed, My city like is fine, right, Why
- 1:54:22Speaker 2: isn't my responsibility to go right? No, that's the Prime
- 1:54:26Speaker 2: minister's job to go to city planners and say, you
- 1:54:30Speaker 2: know what, you're gonna fix this morass of red tape.
- 1:54:34Speaker 2: This like you're gonna unravel this fucking mountain of regulation, okay,
- 1:54:40Speaker 2: And you're gonna make it easier for the private sector
- 1:54:43Speaker 2: to build in your province, in your municipality. You're gonna
- 1:54:48Speaker 2: make it easier. And this is what Paulyev said, right.
- 1:54:52Speaker 2: And if you don't, okay, because there's gonna be a quota, right,
- 1:54:56Speaker 2: and if you have ten percent growth in housing, right,
- 1:55:02Speaker 2: we're gonna just basically go ten percent across the board,
- 1:55:06Speaker 2: ten percent new homes, new home builds across the board
- 1:55:11Speaker 2: across Canada. Right, and if if you don't meet your
- 1:55:16Speaker 2: quota because of provincial regulations or municipal regulations, you're not
- 1:55:21Speaker 2: getting as much federal money in transfers. Right, That's what
- 1:55:26Speaker 2: That's what he said. It's you just you reward good
- 1:55:30Speaker 2: behavior and you punish bad behavior. And that's how you
- 1:55:33Speaker 2: do it. And that's what you do when you're the boss. Right,
- 1:55:37Speaker 2: you don't say, well, how can I profit off of
- 1:55:39Speaker 2: selling my tiny fucking homes that I own?
- 1:55:46Speaker 1: But you know what, this is actually a good conversation.
- 1:55:50Speaker 1: This is actually seeing these things in terms of Todd
- 1:55:55Speaker 1: the Plumber, not whatever the hell politics have become. You
- 1:56:00Speaker 1: know what I mean when we talk about the economy.
- 1:56:03Speaker 2: Yeah, no, Tod, Tod the plumber. Todd the plumber is
- 1:56:05Speaker 2: going to sell you a toilet from a company that
- 1:56:08Speaker 2: gives him kickbacks, even though it's a shitty product that
- 1:56:12Speaker 2: you can only use within certain parameters.
- 1:56:16Speaker 1: Yeah, but my overall point is that this is better. Also,
- 1:56:21Speaker 1: there was somebody who said, well, the fifties were bad
- 1:56:24Speaker 1: for aboriginals. What does that have to do with city planning?
- 1:56:29Speaker 1: This and this specific thing that I spoke about city
- 1:56:32Speaker 1: planning and projecting into the future and trying to accommodate
- 1:56:35Speaker 1: future needs, Like, is that just an excuse to continue
- 1:56:39Speaker 1: to live in the moment and not care about anybody
- 1:56:41Speaker 1: but yourself.
- 1:56:42Speaker 2: How about we just all go back to using bows
- 1:56:46Speaker 2: and arrows and harpoons, okay, and we just live off
- 1:56:50Speaker 2: the land. We'll eat pemmican, you know, we'll, we'll we'll
- 1:56:56Speaker 2: smoke some salmon, eat salmon berries and salal barriers.
- 1:57:01Speaker 1: And by the way, a hunter gatherer society actually is
- 1:57:05Speaker 1: far more resource intensive than the kind of advanced agriculture
- 1:57:09Speaker 1: we're living in now, So we'd need another seven earths
- 1:57:12Speaker 1: to sustain our population in a hunter gatherer system. People
- 1:57:15Speaker 1: don't know that, like we we are. Our our practices
- 1:57:19Speaker 1: are actually becoming more sustainable and less environmentally impactful as
- 1:57:24Speaker 1: we go, you know. And if we just calmed our
- 1:57:27Speaker 1: fucking tits and just continued to apply our knowledge and
- 1:57:32Speaker 1: our understanding to improving everything, we'd be fine.
- 1:57:36Speaker 2: Humans aspire toward efficiency. This is why all of these
- 1:57:39Speaker 2: targets and stuff, that these these artificially imposed targets like well,
- 1:57:45Speaker 2: you know, okay, green green hydrogen, that's that's something carnies behind. Okay,
- 1:57:51Speaker 2: he's he's heavily invested in green hydrogen product productions so
- 1:57:55Speaker 2: that it can be shipped on diesel field cargo ships
- 1:58:00Speaker 2: Europe right and burned there. Right. And it has to
- 1:58:03Speaker 2: be frozen to like minus five hundred celsius or something
- 1:58:07Speaker 2: minus twelve hundred celsius right in order to be transported
- 1:58:14Speaker 2: in liquid form. And then he's gonna ship it across
- 1:58:18Speaker 2: to Europe, burning diesel fuel the whole way, and then
- 1:58:23Speaker 2: they're gonna burn it there. And do you know the
- 1:58:26Speaker 2: efficiency of green hydrogen, the hydrogen that's produced using windmills
- 1:58:34Speaker 2: and solar rather than say a natural gas plant. You
- 1:58:40Speaker 2: know the efficiency of that fuel at the end of
- 1:58:43Speaker 2: the day, twenty percent, twenty percent efficiency.
- 1:58:48Speaker 1: Okay, all right, let's get to this final bit. All right, Well,
- 1:58:53Speaker 1: actually one more thing from a special chat, Joss Cooper Gull.
- 1:58:58Speaker 1: Your pipeline goes through treaties. Okay, but you know, if
- 1:59:02Speaker 1: we don't.
- 1:59:03Speaker 2: Have no no.
- 1:59:05Speaker 1: Sovereignty, economic power, military power, it doesn't matter.
- 1:59:09Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:59:09Speaker 1: No, do you think they're going to give a fuck
- 1:59:12Speaker 1: about treaties?
- 1:59:13Speaker 2: No, Alison, Alison, Yes, most indigenous people right when you
- 1:59:23Speaker 2: actually put it to a vote, and it's happened multiple times.
- 1:59:28Speaker 2: Right when it's put to a vote on these reserves, right,
- 1:59:33Speaker 2: how many people support the pipeline versus how many people
- 1:59:38Speaker 2: oppose the pipeline. Guess what the answer is. The eighty
- 1:59:46Speaker 2: percent of people who are poor because they're not connected
- 1:59:50Speaker 2: with the people who run the band. Okay, they're poor,
- 1:59:56Speaker 2: they're poorly housed, right, because everything's collectively owned. These are
- 2:00:01Speaker 2: like little communist countries inside Canada. Okay, everything's collectively owned,
- 2:00:06Speaker 2: and it all depends on who's running the band. And
- 2:00:09Speaker 2: whoever's running the band, he gives money to his uncle,
- 2:00:12Speaker 2: he gives housing to his knees, he gives you know,
- 2:00:15Speaker 2: and and and then you get whatever dregs are left.
- 2:00:19Speaker 2: You get the single wide trailer to house your freaking
- 2:00:22Speaker 2: yourself and your five kids, right, okay, and that's what
- 2:00:25Speaker 2: you get. Oh and oh plumbing, there's a there's a
- 2:00:31Speaker 2: pump in the yard. Okay, So this is this is
- 2:00:34Speaker 2: what they're dealing with. And running a pipeline through a reservation, okay,
- 2:00:40Speaker 2: means lucrative fucking.
- 2:00:43Speaker 1: Transit fees, chat and jobs too.
- 2:00:46Speaker 2: It means jobs and royalties, royalties that go to Enhich.
- 2:00:51Speaker 2: Everybody on that reservation, I guess unless they're freaking ban
- 2:00:57Speaker 2: council just hoards it all. Okay, but jobs, jobs and money.
- 2:01:04Speaker 2: It's jobs and money. And you have you have a
- 2:01:07Speaker 2: problem on these reserves right where they can't supply clean water, right.
- 2:01:14Speaker 2: And sometimes that because that's because the water has been contaminated.
- 2:01:17Speaker 2: Sometimes it's because the water was always contaminated.
- 2:01:21Speaker 10: Right, All right, do you think do you think maybe
- 2:01:27Speaker 10: maybe injecting some cash into those communities, right instead of
- 2:01:33Speaker 10: waiting for Ottawa to.
- 2:01:35Speaker 2: Get off its ass and fix it, which they'll never
- 2:01:38Speaker 2: do because you know what, Natives, you don't have the voats.
- 2:01:45Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true, as you're not.
- 2:01:47Speaker 2: You're not. You're not the white fucking liberal boomers in
- 2:01:52Speaker 2: Ontario and Quebec. You don't have the voats to fucking
- 2:01:56Speaker 2: change anything.
- 2:02:00Speaker 1: Okay, all right, let's let's finish this off. So this
- 2:02:03Speaker 1: is this is this is the final bit of what
- 2:02:06Speaker 1: all of you who voted for Carney got, And this
- 2:02:10Speaker 1: is what was your one plank. This is what changed
- 2:02:13Speaker 1: the election from conservative a win to a liberal win.
- 2:02:17Speaker 1: Was Carnee basically going elbows up to Trump. So did
- 2:02:21Speaker 1: you get everything that you wanted? You know, buyer beware,
- 2:02:26Speaker 1: let's see.
- 2:02:31Speaker 11: What you consider what mister Carney just said that Canada's
- 2:02:34Speaker 11: not for sale. Does this make it the discussion a
- 2:02:35Speaker 11: little more difficult to start off.
- 2:02:37Speaker 3: No, not at all, No, not at all.
- 2:02:38Speaker 2: No.
- 2:02:39Speaker 3: Time, time will tell. It's only time. But I say
- 2:02:42Speaker 3: never say never. I've had many, many things that were
- 2:02:45Speaker 3: not doable and they ended up being doable, and only
- 2:02:47Speaker 3: doable in a very friendly way. But if it if
- 2:02:49Speaker 3: it's to everybody's benefit. You know, Canada loves us, that
- 2:02:52Speaker 3: we love Canada. That's I think the number one thing
- 2:02:55Speaker 3: that's important. But we'll see, I mean, over time, we'll
- 2:02:57Speaker 3: see what happens.
- 2:02:59Speaker 2: All right.
- 2:03:00Speaker 1: So that's the big put, that's the big l Yeah.
- 2:03:04Speaker 2: Look at the look on his face when Trump is
- 2:03:08Speaker 2: saying that, is just like oh fuck, oh fuck, oh fuck,
- 2:03:12Speaker 2: oh fuck. Yeah.
- 2:03:14Speaker 1: But here's the thing. Trump zeroed in on something that
- 2:03:17Speaker 1: Carne said that actually revealed his true intentions. You don't
- 2:03:21Speaker 1: say we're never for sale, like you don't phrase it
- 2:03:24Speaker 1: that way unless you've actually thought about it, right, And
- 2:03:28Speaker 1: Trump is a salesman. He's gonna pick up on cues
- 2:03:32Speaker 1: like that. I mean, he brought Carney brought this up.
- 2:03:37Speaker 1: But that means he's thinking about it, right. That means
- 2:03:41Speaker 1: he's considered it to come to a conclusion like that.
- 2:03:47Speaker 1: But yeah, so let's see if Carney said, oh, I guess,
- 2:03:53Speaker 1: I guess that was your elbows up moment right there.
- 2:03:56Speaker 1: Did you see that he put his elbow up a little?
- 2:04:00Speaker 1: There you go, that's what you've voted for. I hope
- 2:04:03Speaker 1: you're I hope that is everything you wanted, because that's
- 2:04:07Speaker 1: all you're getting. Now we're now we're getting the bill.
- 2:04:11Speaker 1: Oh good lord. Anyway, all right, so Brian, I'm pretty
- 2:04:14Speaker 1: sure you got you got things to do, people to see,
- 2:04:18Speaker 1: dogs to feed and walking camera.
- 2:04:22Speaker 3: Yeah I do.
- 2:04:25Speaker 1: Okay, So I'm gonna just let's leave it there. I
- 2:04:28Speaker 1: hope you guys enjoyed this the special chat. Really you

- 2:06:07Speaker 11: See you guys, Men's right activists are machines, dude. Okay,
- 2:06:12Speaker 11: they are literal machines. They are talking point machines. They
- 2:06:17Speaker 11: are impossible to fucking deal with, especially if you have
- 2:06:19Speaker 11: like especially if you have like a couple of dudes
- 2:06:21Speaker 11: who have good memory. On top of that too, Holy shit,
- 2:06:25Speaker 11: you're fucked
