- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice for sure. It's time from hell.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Loa loa, Lolo. Welcome to the naughty but nice. I'm
- 0:18Speaker 2: your house from shows. I'm back from London, everybody, so
- 0:20Speaker 2: thank you for all your kind DMS, your messages. I
- 0:23Speaker 2: flew over to London. I did a little bit, a
- 0:26Speaker 2: little bit of King Charles news, but I also did
- 0:30Speaker 2: a lot of time with my family. So it was brilliant,
- 0:33Speaker 2: brilliant to see them. But it is Monday, I'm back
- 0:36Speaker 2: in New York. We have to talk super Bowl and
- 0:38Speaker 2: who are we going to talk it with? Our dear friend,
- 0:40Speaker 2: Garrett Vogel. Hey, Garrett, are you there?
- 0:43Speaker 1: Bobby? Hello? Happy birthday to your mom too right?
- 0:46Speaker 2: Thank you. Mom and dad born on the same day,
- 0:49Speaker 2: one year apart. It's really very lucky beause we only
- 0:52Speaker 2: have to throw one party. It's much cheaper. But we
- 0:54Speaker 2: did get two cakes, two cakes and double the balloons.
- 0:57Speaker 2: They had a lovely time. I miss them. As you
- 0:59Speaker 2: get older, family becomes, at least to me, more and
- 1:02Speaker 2: more important. So it's all my brothers and sisters and
- 1:05Speaker 2: like now they're children. Uncle Robert, Garrett, can you believe it? Oh? My?
- 1:09Speaker 1: You know what? You you would be a fun.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Uncle and a fun uncle. I'm more like Auntie Mayne
- 1:13Speaker 2: if the truth be told, than Uncle Robert. But nevertheless,
- 1:16Speaker 2: fabulous time. But enough yoursip about my life, my family.
- 1:19Speaker 2: I want to get into the super Bowls. Have got
- 1:20Speaker 2: so much to get to. Are you ready? What time
- 1:24Speaker 2: is it?
- 1:24Speaker 1: My friend time?
- 1:26Speaker 2: Tea time? Okay. So one of the biggest headlines from
- 1:29Speaker 2: the show for me, because I'm so nosy about people's money,
- 1:32Speaker 2: is who actually paid for that three hundred thousand dollars box. Now,
- 1:37Speaker 2: there were some controversy, but the players don't get good tickets.
- 1:40Speaker 2: You would think if you get to the super Bowl
- 1:42Speaker 2: you'd get an amazing ticket. Recently, Bruce's show opened on Broadway,
- 1:46Speaker 2: and the actual people in the show don't really get
- 1:50Speaker 2: as many tickets as you would think. So this is
- 1:52Speaker 2: the same as the super Bowl. So they're happy to
- 1:54Speaker 2: sell you a box. If you can afford it, they'll
- 1:57Speaker 2: sell you a box. But if you can't, you probably
- 2:00Speaker 2: not going to get a good, good seat. Now, Travis's
- 2:02Speaker 2: mom told Hoder on the Today Show she thought she'd
- 2:05Speaker 2: be in the stands. They didn't know where they were
- 2:06Speaker 2: gonna that's right where they're gonna sit and then I
- 2:09Speaker 2: reported exclusively on our show that Taylor would not have
- 2:12Speaker 2: that Taylor would buy the box and she would definitely
- 2:14Speaker 2: have his family in it. Well, it turns out now
- 2:17Speaker 2: Travis paid the money, he bought the box. But let
- 2:21Speaker 2: me be a little bit naughty, because we are naughty
- 2:22Speaker 2: but nice. Taylor invited some of her friends, including Blake Lively.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Should Blake have chipped in?
- 2:29Speaker 3: Well, no, if you're invited to something like that, that
- 2:31Speaker 3: that that's like saying, hey, you want to come to
- 2:34Speaker 3: outer space with me? Like I don't expect you to
- 2:36Speaker 3: pay to go to outer space with me. I expect
- 2:38Speaker 3: you to you know, like, oh, sure, I'll come to
- 2:40Speaker 3: outer space with you.
- 2:42Speaker 1: That you know what else I noticed too?
- 2:44Speaker 3: So remember we were talking about the Grimeys just last week,
- 2:47Speaker 3: how Taylor Swift you know, brought up her friend Lana
- 2:50Speaker 3: del Ray right onto stage. Lana del Ray had tickets
- 2:53Speaker 3: right in front of Taylor Swift and then by the
- 2:56Speaker 3: end and not by the end of the game, she
- 2:58Speaker 3: was in the box.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Have you ever done one of those?
- 3:01Speaker 3: Of course, I've snuck into many of places and seats too,
- 3:05Speaker 3: where you get.
- 3:06Speaker 2: On they existed. I did add no idea until Michael Boublay.
- 3:10Speaker 2: God bless you, Michael, if you're listening to Lolo alone.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Michael Boublay invited me to his concert at the Garden
- 3:15Speaker 2: and I got there and I like to sit on
- 3:17Speaker 2: the floor by the stage, and I had a little
- 3:19Speaker 2: bit of an attitude when I had to go upstairs.
- 3:21Speaker 2: It's like, Oh, Michael put me in the cheap seats,
- 3:22Speaker 2: which was fine, and then that's where the boxes were.
- 3:25Speaker 2: There's wine in there, there's drinks, there's food, you have
- 3:29Speaker 2: a waiter, you have a server. It's like being in
- 3:31Speaker 2: a private little club and you can squeeze as many
- 3:35Speaker 2: people in that room. I don't think you should. It's
- 3:37Speaker 2: exciting to have a limit. But if I had the
- 3:40Speaker 2: box garret, I'd get you in, I'd get my friends in,
- 3:42Speaker 2: I get everybody in. But he paid. Are you surprised
- 3:44Speaker 2: that he picked up the town?
- 3:45Speaker 3: No, that that's the gentleman thing to do. Like, you're
- 3:48Speaker 3: not going to make your girlfriend pay for the bar.
- 3:50Speaker 2: She's got a billion dollars.
- 3:52Speaker 3: She's got a billion dollars, But that's the normal thing
- 3:55Speaker 3: to do. She has a billion dollars, doesn't mean you
- 3:57Speaker 3: can't open the door for her. You know what I mean,
- 4:00Speaker 3: and especially if your parents are there, his parents are there,
- 4:03Speaker 3: his brother is there, his brother's wife is there. Like
- 4:07Speaker 3: the least she could do. And I get it too,
- 4:09Speaker 3: especially since yes, it is a very it feels like
- 4:12Speaker 3: they've been dating for years, but they've only been dating
- 4:15Speaker 3: for a Travis and Taylor have only been dating for
- 4:17Speaker 3: a couple of months.
- 4:18Speaker 1: It's been in our eyes.
- 4:19Speaker 3: So you still you're still not close enough with the
- 4:22Speaker 3: family outside of just hanging out for the last thirteen
- 4:25Speaker 3: weeks in a box.
- 4:26Speaker 2: So what do you do?
- 4:26Speaker 1: You bring a friend or two with you to hang
- 4:28Speaker 1: out with, you know, and to.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Do that and do that. So she called Blake, She
- 4:32Speaker 2: called Blake.
- 4:33Speaker 1: An ice spice too. I spice ice spice, I.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Mean spe What about the other posse, because remember Taylor
- 4:41Speaker 2: was really close was it Toddrick Hall? And she was
- 4:43Speaker 2: close with Gigi Hadi Selina Gomez. Do you think she
- 4:47Speaker 2: invited them and they were not available? Or did they
- 4:50Speaker 2: not get away?
- 4:50Speaker 3: You got to you gotta draw the line somewhere. And
- 4:53Speaker 3: that's the other thing too, Rob Shooter. You invite me over,
- 4:56Speaker 3: you invite me to go see your your husband's show Harmony.
- 4:59Speaker 3: I'm not going to go through my phone and invite
- 5:01Speaker 3: my entire phone context.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Oh that's a good point.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Yes, that's how to think about it, isn't it. It's
- 5:07Speaker 2: quite complicated. I was thinking about weddings and parties and
- 5:11Speaker 2: who you invited off the guest list, and you know
- 5:14Speaker 2: there's only a certain amount of seats in that box,
- 5:16Speaker 2: and you can't just keep giving away free tickets because
- 5:19Speaker 2: the tickets don't exist. And so this brings us to
- 5:22Speaker 2: a pool question of the day. Travis treated Taylor's families.
- 5:27Speaker 2: She had a mom and a dad there and I
- 5:28Speaker 2: think her brother to their Super Bowl experience, that's what
- 5:31Speaker 2: we're calling it. He covered the cost of the suite.
- 5:34Speaker 2: It was at least three hundred thousand dollars. He earns
- 5:38Speaker 2: a lot of money, and I'm sure he've got a
- 5:39Speaker 2: big bonus too, but he picked up the tabat question
- 5:42Speaker 2: of the day is should Taylor have chipped in? Should
- 5:45Speaker 2: she have paid? To go? Vote on our Facebook page.
- 5:49Speaker 2: You can vote on our Twitter page and be sure
- 5:52Speaker 2: to come back tomorrow to hear your results. Okay, so
- 5:55Speaker 2: more headlines, Garrett, I want to get your opinion about
- 5:57Speaker 2: all of these. Harry and Meghan were not at the
- 5:59Speaker 2: Super Bowl. Mind side has telling me that unlike previous years,
- 6:03Speaker 2: nobody really invited them. So they sit in a private
- 6:06Speaker 2: box once again, very expensive. They only have so many
- 6:09Speaker 2: of these VIP boxes, and so Harry and Meghan this
- 6:12Speaker 2: year not really a priority, not invited.
- 6:15Speaker 3: I would love to see the list of celebrities that
- 6:18Speaker 3: just missed the cut you know what I mean, Because
- 6:20Speaker 3: there was a ton of celebrities at the at the game,
- 6:22Speaker 3: you know, from the the VIP boxes on the field
- 6:25Speaker 3: level to the upper upper parts where Taylor Swift was,
- 6:29Speaker 3: and there had to be a cutoff, you know what
- 6:31Speaker 3: I mean, the oh, I'm so sorry you just missed
- 6:33Speaker 3: the cutoff of you just didn't make it, Yeah, making.
- 6:36Speaker 2: The Haarrian Meghan didn't make it. Stock has tumbled, hasn't
- 6:39Speaker 2: it a little bit? Two years ago they were the
- 6:42Speaker 2: king and Queen of Hollywood. Dare I say? And now
- 6:44Speaker 2: it's it's it's sort of diminished a little bit. It
- 6:46Speaker 2: happens to everybody. Nobody stays red hot forever, and they
- 6:49Speaker 2: were really red hot. So I'm not putting them down here,
- 6:51Speaker 2: I'm not making fun of them. Every career goes through
- 6:54Speaker 2: ups and downs, even if your crea is being you.
- 6:56Speaker 3: You come home from from England and you you turn
- 7:00Speaker 3: into this when before you left for England you were
- 7:03Speaker 3: very pro.
- 7:04Speaker 1: You know, I'm pro.
- 7:06Speaker 2: I'm still I was fascinating.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Though.
- 7:08Speaker 3: What it's funny about about Meghan though, is most of
- 7:11Speaker 3: her cast were in Super Bowl commercials. Most of the
- 7:14Speaker 3: suits cast were a TV, a T Mobile commercial, and
- 7:17Speaker 3: Elf Cosmetics commercial. The entire cast of suits in those.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Two they were do you think they invited Meghan? And
- 7:24Speaker 2: she said no, thank you.
- 7:24Speaker 3: I think they definitely had to reach out. Maybe not
- 7:26Speaker 3: the T Mobile, definitely the probably Elf Cosmetics.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Elf.
- 7:30Speaker 2: I like those cosmetics I got sent last year. So
- 7:33Speaker 2: after the Super Bowl I always go on TV. I'm
- 7:35Speaker 2: going to go on TV today this morning, Garrett, after
- 7:37Speaker 2: we finish our podcast, I'm going to glue my hair
- 7:40Speaker 2: around and put all my makeup and run to TV
- 7:41Speaker 2: to talk about this all day, and they're going to
- 7:43Speaker 2: ask me about my favorite commercial. Well, last year I
- 7:45Speaker 2: said it was the Elf commercial.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Oh wow.
- 7:47Speaker 2: They sent me a whole box of products, lovely products.
- 7:50Speaker 2: They work really well. Because I had not really heard
- 7:52Speaker 2: of this company. I used Mac or you know, the
- 7:54Speaker 2: old fashioned esty lorder type brands and now I'm an
- 7:58Speaker 2: ELF fan. Okay, I've got to get your opinion about
- 8:00Speaker 2: just In Bieber. He was there. He rocked up actually
- 8:03Speaker 2: with the Kardashians, which is not a good look if
- 8:05Speaker 2: Taylor Swift's going to be There are lots of history
- 8:07Speaker 2: between Taylor and the Kardashians and Kanye, So Kim, Chloe
- 8:11Speaker 2: and Kendall were with him, but he did not perform.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Were you surprised?
- 8:16Speaker 1: Uh?
- 8:16Speaker 3: Yes, and no. You know, I think that he's not
- 8:20Speaker 3: ready there yet. Two weeks ago he performed when he
- 8:23Speaker 3: was up in Canada for the NHL All Star Game,
- 8:25Speaker 3: and you know, I don't think he might not be
- 8:28Speaker 3: ready yet for himself. That's why I because the talks were, oh,
- 8:32Speaker 3: Usher's people are talking to Justin's people. Yes, they're the
- 8:34Speaker 3: same people people. No one's talking. There's no teams. It's
- 8:39Speaker 3: the same.
- 8:39Speaker 2: People talking to yourself.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 8:43Speaker 2: So why was any answer? Yes, then why didn't that happen? Well?
- 8:45Speaker 3: I think it was just maybe it was a you know,
- 8:48Speaker 3: Usher probably was asking from day one, and it just
- 8:51Speaker 3: got to the point where it's like, hey, time's running
- 8:53Speaker 3: out putting.
- 8:54Speaker 1: The show together.
- 8:55Speaker 3: The show gets put together so far in advance that
- 8:58Speaker 3: it's pretty much set in stone instead, and they kept
- 9:00Speaker 3: a window open.
- 9:02Speaker 2: So you can't change in the last twenty four hours.
- 9:04Speaker 2: If Beyonce wanted to get up there, it'd be very
- 9:06Speaker 2: difficult to make it happen. It's so interesting. It's like
- 9:08Speaker 2: when you go to see a show at the Garden.
- 9:10Speaker 2: The Donna's show is carefully choreographed. She can't just change
- 9:13Speaker 2: it a random much because of the lights and all
- 9:15Speaker 2: the technical stuff. So I was happy to see him
- 9:17Speaker 2: there there. My inside is tell me he wasn't going
- 9:20Speaker 2: to perform, right, It was not his moment. He didn't
- 9:22Speaker 2: feel like he's been honest about his struggles with mental
- 9:24Speaker 2: health and performing. But he wanted to be there to
- 9:27Speaker 2: support Usher. So he was there in the stands, but
- 9:30Speaker 2: did not want to perform. Okay, let's get to the
- 9:32Speaker 2: meat and potato as a so to speak of the
- 9:35Speaker 2: super Bowl that stands in Usher's abs. It's the talk
- 9:38Speaker 2: of the tower. So Usher came out overall, I think
- 9:41Speaker 2: he was fabulous. He came out in a white dotsy
- 9:44Speaker 2: and banner ensemble or he looked magical, and then he
- 9:47Speaker 2: sort of turned into Michael Jackson. He had one glove
- 9:49Speaker 2: on at one point, then towards the end he ripped
- 9:53Speaker 2: off his shirt. He ripped off his T shirt and
- 9:57Speaker 2: what do you think?
- 9:57Speaker 3: You know, I definitely like that. It was you very
- 10:00Speaker 3: reminiscent of when Adam Levine did it, you know what
- 10:02Speaker 3: I mean? Yeah, so so, but but it was more
- 10:05Speaker 3: classy than the way Adam Levine, Like, I think Adam
- 10:07Speaker 3: Levine just came out with no shirt on Usher at.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Least basicly casual, like a strip tea.
- 10:12Speaker 3: It was like a strip I like that shirt though
- 10:14Speaker 3: that comes across like normal.
- 10:16Speaker 2: It was one of those.
- 10:16Speaker 1: It wasn't a button down. It was like from the
- 10:18Speaker 1: show side and all.
- 10:20Speaker 2: The well, what did you think about Usher? Ever? All
- 10:22Speaker 2: I'm hearing mixed results. My friends really liked it, and
- 10:25Speaker 2: they're like the performance and we'll get into the guest
- 10:26Speaker 2: stars in a second, but what about him?
- 10:28Speaker 3: I think it was solid. But you know, the thing
- 10:29Speaker 3: I've learned just in life in general, you cannot make
- 10:32Speaker 3: everybody happy, especially the one event that all eyes are watching.
- 10:37Speaker 3: So you have fifty two billion people watching you at
- 10:39Speaker 3: any given point throughout the next two days, and you're
- 10:43Speaker 3: not going to make fifty two billions to make everyone happen.
- 10:45Speaker 3: But it's a thing of life too, right, Like we
- 10:47Speaker 3: talked about this.
- 10:48Speaker 2: In life, and the big you get, the more shots
- 10:50Speaker 2: you're going to get. I thought it was terrific. I
- 10:52Speaker 2: thought it was very show busy. I mean, it's difficult
- 10:55Speaker 2: for the boys to compete with the girls because the
- 10:58Speaker 2: girls can go Ja low and Beyonce go well, the
- 11:00Speaker 2: costume changes in the head.
- 11:02Speaker 3: I want to see them dances. I want to see
- 11:03Speaker 3: the people who tied his roller skates, you know, because.
- 11:06Speaker 2: It didn't really fast. I noticed that when he was
- 11:08Speaker 2: off stage. I was like, he's getting his roller skates
- 11:10Speaker 2: roller skating.
- 11:10Speaker 3: It's like a quick chap at a Broadway show, so
- 11:14Speaker 3: there's definitely two to four people putting on.
- 11:16Speaker 2: His own people. He walks off and he just stands there.
- 11:18Speaker 2: You don't take your clothes off. They rip your clothes
- 11:20Speaker 2: off and they get your dress. Now, let's talk about
- 11:22Speaker 2: some of the guest stars. Alicia Keys I used to
- 11:24Speaker 2: work for. I was at publicist for a long time,
- 11:27Speaker 2: and that that song my Boo really was a big
- 11:31Speaker 2: It was a big moment and it actually made Alisha
- 11:33Speaker 2: a much bigger star. I remember being with Alisha and
- 11:36Speaker 2: Usher when they shot the video for that. I remember
- 11:38Speaker 2: being in time squares with them and everybody wanted usher
- 11:41Speaker 2: and actually people did not really recognize Alisia, so that
- 11:44Speaker 2: was a huge moment for her. I loved it. I
- 11:46Speaker 2: liked the red piano. I liked the red costume. What
- 11:48Speaker 2: did you think?
- 11:49Speaker 1: I thought it was great too.
- 11:50Speaker 3: And I know a lot of people are like, isn't
- 11:52Speaker 3: Alicia Keys married to Swiss beads?
- 11:54Speaker 1: Yes?
- 11:54Speaker 3: But again, people, this is a performance, you know what
- 11:57Speaker 3: I mean. It's not like they're they're literally making love
- 12:00Speaker 3: on stage, Like.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Was it a little too racy for you?
- 12:04Speaker 1: Not at all? You know what I mean.
- 12:05Speaker 3: It's the song is called my Boo, So they're both
- 12:09Speaker 3: two professionals dancing very closely together.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Doesn't like do we do this on Dancing with the
- 12:14Speaker 1: Stars every week?
- 12:14Speaker 2: It's like, and the costumes are actually quite similar. They're
- 12:17Speaker 2: not gonna want to hear that. Okay, what did you
- 12:19Speaker 2: think about Little John and ludicrous he had he had to?
- 12:22Speaker 3: I mean one of it, like you said, I think
- 12:25Speaker 3: I Shure said it best. How can I not invite
- 12:27Speaker 3: two of the people that were part of one of
- 12:29Speaker 3: the biggest songs of my career?
- 12:32Speaker 1: You know what?
- 12:32Speaker 3: I mean, and the thing I love too is, you know,
- 12:36Speaker 3: the the thing everybody questions, he's lip syncing.
- 12:39Speaker 1: They were.
- 12:39Speaker 3: They were live for most of those performances. All they
- 12:43Speaker 3: were live, you know.
- 12:44Speaker 2: So they were live. Yeah, and you coatelics his sound
- 12:46Speaker 2: was a little off. It wasn't him, It was the
- 12:48Speaker 2: sound in the beginning. Guy a little moment was like,
- 12:50Speaker 2: oh no, but then they fixed it. But I couldn't
- 12:53Speaker 2: hear him very clear that in the beginning. It's amazing
- 12:55Speaker 2: what they pull off. They do a vague size production
- 13:00Speaker 2: in the middle of the field and they have twelve
- 13:02Speaker 2: minutes to get that field out right. They have to
- 13:04Speaker 2: me and you would forget to put the plug in.
- 13:05Speaker 2: I mean, every single thing. It's hard enough taping a
- 13:08Speaker 2: podcast in the morning there can you imagine that I
- 13:11Speaker 2: don't know where to put my mic plug and have
- 13:12Speaker 2: the plug.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Imagine trying to do this podcast at the Super Bowl
- 13:15Speaker 3: for halftime you in the middle.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Of the field. I'd have to roll out like extension
- 13:19Speaker 2: cord and my part. So I think it's just fantastic. Now,
- 13:23Speaker 2: this is a great little bit of gossip before we
- 13:25Speaker 2: move on to the other performers. Just before the Super Bowl,
- 13:31Speaker 2: Ushirt and his longtime girlfriend Jennifer obtained a marriage license
- 13:36Speaker 2: in Vegas.
- 13:36Speaker 1: He does have the keys to the city.
- 13:38Speaker 2: You know, he's got the keys of the said, well,
- 13:40Speaker 2: that's the moment to do it. Although I would imagine
- 13:43Speaker 2: your wedding. Can that top of Super Bowl performance? I
- 13:46Speaker 2: hope the answer is yes.
- 13:47Speaker 3: I mean, let's let's just break down his weekend. So
- 13:51Speaker 3: Thursday the man drops a new album for the first
- 13:53Speaker 3: time in forever. Right, he drops an album. He gets ready,
- 13:57Speaker 3: So that's Thursday. Friday he gets his marriage license, uh
- 14:01Speaker 3: to to for his new wife, him and his wife,
- 14:04Speaker 3: and then Sunday he performs on the biggest stage, followed
- 14:07Speaker 3: by a national world tour and probably number one on
- 14:10Speaker 3: iTunes across the board and all you know streaming services.
- 14:14Speaker 3: How much better can get for for Usher?
- 14:17Speaker 1: Right now?
- 14:17Speaker 2: Like like, no, it's a good it's a good line.
- 14:19Speaker 3: That's wait a wake up and go, hey, how's your weekend?
- 14:24Speaker 1: You know what I mean? You and I like saw
- 14:26Speaker 1: some family had some chicken wings.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I love it. I love it quickly before we get
- 14:31Speaker 2: a break. Reba McIntyre National Anthem brought tears to some
- 14:36Speaker 2: of the players. They had tears in their eyes. She
- 14:38Speaker 2: was great. What did you think?
- 14:39Speaker 1: Oh? Solid?
- 14:40Speaker 3: You know that was one of those you cannot go wrong.
- 14:43Speaker 3: You know, it's you won't see people going. You know,
- 14:46Speaker 3: I hated that performance from where you both he saw it.
- 14:49Speaker 3: It's like no matter where you lie on the on
- 14:52Speaker 3: the political scale, the spectrum, uh love hate. I think
- 14:57Speaker 3: everybody can exact taste fashion. I think you can all
- 15:02Speaker 3: agree that Rebo Go Riba, you know, solid performance and
- 15:06Speaker 3: one of those like you know she could run for office,
- 15:08Speaker 3: you know with the rock and everybody will feel okay
- 15:11Speaker 3: with solid.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Then two other performances I have to give a quick
- 15:13Speaker 2: shout out to Post Malone folksy rendition of America Beautiful.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Taylor Swift was even approving of that. She she loved it.
- 15:21Speaker 2: And Andrea Day singing lift every voice and sing I
- 15:27Speaker 2: loved both.
- 15:28Speaker 1: That was that was pretty amazing. Andrea Day.
- 15:30Speaker 3: If you haven't heard her, go go listen to her
- 15:33Speaker 3: song rise Up. And if it doesn't inspire you to
- 15:35Speaker 3: get out and just do something or something you've been
- 15:38Speaker 3: sitting on, like give up. Yeah, you might want to
- 15:40Speaker 3: check your soul at that point like she is.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Give up. If that doesn't inspire you Okay, we're going
- 15:44Speaker 2: to take a quick break and we hopefully we'll be
- 15:46Speaker 2: back to inspire you to welcome back to the laudy
- 15:49Speaker 2: bit nice. I'm Rob shooting your house that dear co
- 15:52Speaker 2: host and friend Garrek.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Can I let people in on a little secret. So
- 15:56Speaker 3: during the commercial break, Rob Shooter and I just shotgun
- 15:59Speaker 3: to during like Taylor Swift did on the big screen
- 16:01Speaker 3: last night at the super Bowl, Like did you see that?
- 16:05Speaker 2: That's going to be our nicest in the day as
- 16:07Speaker 2: a whole before Okay, last show, let's get okay, let's
- 16:12Speaker 2: get to the polls. Last show, we talked about criticism
- 16:15Speaker 2: Prince William got for remarks he made about Kate Middleton's nurses,
- 16:20Speaker 2: so he referred to their race. He referred to them
- 16:22Speaker 2: as Filipino nurses who he was very grateful for and
- 16:25Speaker 2: he praised them. Was he wrong to bring up race?
- 16:28Speaker 2: Should he just to thank the nurses? It caused a
- 16:31Speaker 2: little bit of a drama in the UK some here too.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Let's have a look where seventy percent said yes, he
- 16:35Speaker 2: should have just said thank you to the nurses. I
- 16:39Speaker 2: think I agree. Okay, let's do my favorite part of
- 16:42Speaker 2: the show, and nicest of the day. It is Taylor
- 16:45Speaker 2: Swift's for chugging beer at the super Bowl. So there
- 16:50Speaker 2: she was at the super Bowl. She was having a
- 16:53Speaker 2: great time. Sometimes celebrities when they know they're going to
- 16:56Speaker 2: be on camera, and she knew, they change their behavior.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Not Taylor's said, I'm just gonna have a great time.
- 17:01Speaker 3: But that's the thing at a sporting event too. So
- 17:03Speaker 3: if you're ever at a sporting event and you get
- 17:05Speaker 3: shown on the big screen and you have a drink,
- 17:08Speaker 3: everybody starts cheering and what you do is down that
- 17:10Speaker 3: drink because you know what that does. It just makes
- 17:12Speaker 3: everybody go crazy because they just like are impressed. So
- 17:16Speaker 3: she did what she did. She was she was what
- 17:18Speaker 3: we call normal.
- 17:19Speaker 2: You know, you know last night America, I love it,
- 17:23Speaker 2: I love it, I love it, and I noticed the
- 17:25Speaker 2: day naughty, naughty, naughty. Beyonce on the eve of the
- 17:29Speaker 2: super Bowl announced that she's got a country album coming
- 17:32Speaker 2: out and it's premiering with two new songs during the
- 17:35Speaker 2: super Bowl. She was there and her western themed ensemble.
- 17:39Speaker 2: If you wonder why was Beyonce wearing a cowboy hat
- 17:42Speaker 2: at the Grammar is now we know she has a
- 17:44Speaker 2: country album coming out now. I'm the biggest Beyonce fan
- 17:47Speaker 2: in the world. I can't wait for the album. I
- 17:50Speaker 2: just think the timing because her fans and Taylor's fans
- 17:53Speaker 2: have been quite competitive. Remember all that drama about who
- 17:56Speaker 2: had the biggest tour, who had the biggest movie. This
- 17:58Speaker 2: super Bowl was tailor this moment. It really was trackvis
- 18:01Speaker 2: this moment. But let's just from.
- 18:04Speaker 1: With music at the Grammys.
- 18:05Speaker 2: So Beyonce, yes, Beyonce, at least, where are you on this?
- 18:10Speaker 2: I think Beyonce, I should have waited. I don't like it.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Beyonce A wait a day or so. At least, that's
- 18:14Speaker 2: what I think, and naughtiest of the day. Let's end
- 18:17Speaker 2: with the moment. Thank you very much, Darling. You'll never
- 18:23Speaker 2: do a whole lot unless you are brave enough to try.
- 18:26Speaker 2: When people ask me what's the secret of my success,
- 18:29Speaker 2: my modest success, I have a really easy answer. It's
- 18:33Speaker 2: that I try. The willingness to try is what has
- 18:37Speaker 2: made me successful. I failed a lot of times, a
- 18:40Speaker 2: lot of times, and I'm still failing even to this day.
- 18:43Speaker 2: But I get back up, Garrett, and I try again,
- 18:46Speaker 2: And to me, that is what success is. Just been
- 18:50Speaker 2: willing to try. It doesn't really even matter what the
- 18:53Speaker 2: outcome is. Try, try, try, And I think that a
- 18:56Speaker 2: friend of mine sent me a photograph of Taylor Swift
- 19:00Speaker 2: from many years ago playing this little, tiny concert. She's
- 19:03Speaker 2: so young, she's probably like sixteen or seventeen. There's three
- 19:06Speaker 2: people in the crowd, like it's empty. And then cut
- 19:09Speaker 2: to who she is today, and it's because she never
- 19:13Speaker 2: ever gave up. And yes there was a little bit
- 19:15Speaker 2: of talent there too, thinking she's super talented, but she
- 19:18Speaker 2: never ever gave up. Don't give up, naughties. That is
- 19:21Speaker 2: it for today. Thank you so much for listening to
- 19:25Speaker 2: The Naughty but Nice with Robin Garrett Show, a production
- 19:27Speaker 2: of iHeartRadio. Don't Forget Us as grow on the iHeart
- 19:30Speaker 2: Radio app podcast wherever you listen and leave us a
- 19:34Speaker 2: review if you can. They really do help and remember altogether. Now,
- 19:39Speaker 2: if you're going to be naughty, you've gotta be na.
- 19:48Speaker 1: It's not even nice with Rah
