- 1:33nineteen fifty and the title is The Frightened author The Adventures of the Saint,
- 1:59starring Vincent Twice the same based on characters created by Leslie Charter and non to
- 2:14millions from books, magazines, and motion pictures. A robin Hood of Modern
- 2:17Crime now comes to radio, starring Hollywood brilliant and talented actor Vincent Price as
- 2:24the saint template. Well, if it isn't Randy Pattish, templar, Am
- 2:31I ever glad to see you? Just what the psychiatrist story is? Sit
- 2:35down, O'Brien, take a lot of join me in a bowl of port.
- 2:38Thanks, but ah, sir, ray, am I ever glad to
- 2:40see you? A sights for these bloodshadows? Yes, sir, I realize
- 2:45I'm a very charming fellow and all that Randy. But even though me thinks
- 2:47this greeting is just a wee bit over enthusiastic, could it be we're leading
- 2:53up to a touch? Oh, Templar, old boy, leave us not
- 2:55be mercenary. There's nothing I'd rather leave us not be. My heart goes
- 3:00after you, Simon, but it's not my hand, and I'm that I'll
- 3:04use that sometimes. You just did no, I mean in one of my
- 3:06books, you did you know it is in the case of the Hangman's Rope
- 3:09or there's bad news tonight? Say that's right? So I did? What
- 3:14do you know? So you read my books. I'm flattered. I read
- 3:17that one. Did you read my latest? The Case of the dead Man's
- 3:21limp? Or he died with his boots on him? They were too tight?
- 3:23No, I missed that one. Not too bad. Well, that's
- 3:25why I'm glad to see you, because I didn't read your book. No,
- 3:29because maybe you can save my life. I could be killed on a
- 3:31kind of that book, just that one, or temporal boy, you cut
- 3:36me to the quick the case of the cut up Author? Or who hacked
- 3:38the hack? Oh it's no joke, TEMPLI. You've heard of Kid Walden
- 3:42the heavy Radio. I heard him well, and he was just a punk.
- 3:44Georgie Garnett sign him up to manage him lifetime contract. Now the kid
- 3:47is in the higher brackets and he's still tied to Garnett on terms of no
- 3:51like well, Candy Afford a lawyer, he's got a lawyer. But Garnett
- 3:53swings the mean pen, no loopholes. The contract is ironclad, and your
- 3:59heart bleeds for the and you're afraid you'll bleed to death. I think not
- 4:01exactly. You see the kid's figure as an angle. Garnett has a wife,
- 4:05Oh lovely tomato anyway, you'll look at it, And brother, you
- 4:09look at it, you mean the kid looks at her precisely, and vice
- 4:12of us. You see the kid there is no bad piece of merchandise himself,
- 4:15six foot four of solid muscle. What about his face? While his
- 4:17face retains much of its original shape in spite of coming in contact with some
- 4:21of the fanciest leather in the business. MM soft music, two hots in
- 4:26three quarter time, I get to take well out all of it. Don't
- 4:28forget Garnett husband Ah, Yes, triangle three hearts in two quarters and that's
- 4:33the kid's angle. Play up to the missus while she goes from so he
- 4:36can use herry to get better terms from Garnette. Huh, only the way
- 4:41I wrote it. The kid in the missus slipped the maunt of joy dose
- 4:44of rock the way you wrote it. That's what I'm talking about. You
- 4:46wrote a book based on Kid Walders Shenanigans with Missus Garnett ad admitter and put
- 4:50it on the news stand. I did so help me, and I do
- 4:54mean help. I see one of your real life characters is read that one
- 4:58of them, all of them. Uh, oh Nett wants to know our
- 5:00his wife and his fighter really give them the business? And if so,
- 5:03how do I know? My wife wants to know? How do I know?
- 5:05My kid wants to know? How do I know? How do you
- 5:09know? Templar? Please? A writer protects this, so you better started
- 5:13protecting him. South. That's where you come in. How big did you
- 5:15say? The kid is six flour? That's where I go out? Oh
- 5:18no, wait, I don't want any part of it, Randy, You
- 5:20deserve what you're getting. You should have known better than to use the real
- 5:24situation. Well, I didn't use their real names. You think I'm crazy?
- 5:27No comment, and I used the disclaimer any similarity, et cetera.
- 5:30You Oh yeah, I don't know how they caught on, but I used
- 5:33a switch arule. The kid is a top heavyweight contender, but not in
- 5:36the book. I changed all that. Oh you changed all that? Yeah,
- 5:40and the book he's a lightweight. That's what I call it, Jeru,
- 5:43well after my height. So you've got to help me tell, Well,
- 5:46what do you want me to do? Expect me to tell a saint
- 5:48is his business or he'll think of something. I already have. Great,
- 5:51what I'm out of shaving green? So I better go right here. I
- 5:55appeal to you in the name of our friendship. I'm not you know,
- 5:58Randy, I'm beginning to think of a few names for our friendship that aren't
- 6:00exactly appealing. Oh you wouldn't let me do you couldn't? I could try.
- 6:06Is this Simon Templess speaking? My old pal, my buddy, the
- 6:12Simon temple Will saw me from the darkest hours of deadly literary tea who stood
- 6:15by me when the critics descended upon my first, poor defenseless brains out.
- 6:21Randy, you're breaking my heart. I'll do what I can for you,
- 6:25Randy, good old temp I knew you come through, but I still don't
- 6:29know just what you want. Well, it's simple, old man. These
- 6:30jokers have soare all of them? Maybe the rest of my hide. Well
- 6:33that's what I've got to find out. In other words, one and all
- 6:36would thoroughly be delighted to see you dead. And you want to know if
- 6:40any of them are making specific plans for such delight exactly. If we know
- 6:45what they're planning, maybe we can stop it. If if not, you
- 6:46have a feeding all of us sudden any resemblance between you and a living person
- 6:50who'd be strictly coincidental. Right, Hello, kid, why didn't you give
- 7:10that punching bag arrest? It's getting tired for you time and temper. I'm
- 7:14a friend of Randy Patterson. Oh, oh please, kid, I want
- 7:17to talk to you. Nothing to say, but then allow me. Look,
- 7:20mister, my lawyers is a Smith and McCormick. It's in their hands.
- 7:25You want to talk talk to them? Oh, lawyers, Yeah,
- 7:28lawyers. I've been libeled. I never did none of the things that says
- 7:30in that book. You didn't know? Well, then, how do you
- 7:32know that the book's about you? How do I know? How do I
- 7:35know? Yeah? How do you know? Why? You haven't even happened
- 7:39in that book? It's just exactly like a go chase your some Oh kid,
- 7:44you're looking the wrong way. This is my head. That's the punching
- 7:46bag there. See. Yeah, it's a long kid. Yes, my
- 8:07name is Diamond Tempa. I'm looking for George Garnett. I'm Gunnett. Do
- 8:11you always greet your guests with a gun? Lately? The monkey isn't ground?
- 8:16Who's money? Bodyguard? Temporary? I've heard that name? Well,
- 8:20what do you want? Well, look, I'd like to talk to you.
- 8:22But not in the doorway with a gun in my red All right,
- 8:26come in, come in, thank you, thank you, Templar, Templar,
- 8:30it seems I oh oh oh, sit down there, okay, I
- 8:35have to take these blamed indigestion pills. Never stomach been under a strain lately,
- 8:41terrible strain by Joe the Saint, of course, that's right, Yes,
- 8:46sure, sure, Templar. Ah hell, well, what brings you
- 8:50here, Templer? Randy Pattison asked me to some that wrap that skunk at
- 8:54murderer, murderer, accomplish him? Oh, who's been murdered? Nobody yet?
- 8:58Who then? But somebody maybe any minute, any time? Woo me.
- 9:03That's what he said in that blast book, isn't it me? But
- 9:05that does? Yeah? Me me me, Well, I tell you,
- 9:09Temper, if I get murdered, I'll hold Patterson quietly responsible. So help
- 9:13me. I will because he said you might be killed. You have to
- 9:16thank him for the warning. But he won't tell me where he got the
- 9:18information, so I can really protect myself. Now I can't sleep. I
- 9:22got where'd I put those pills? It's one of them? Oh oh,
- 9:26do you know, Templer, do you know where he got the information.
- 9:30No, if you knew what you tell Oh, yes you would. I'll
- 9:35just bet. Why do you come here, Templar? I've been wondering what
- 9:39you plan to do? Oh do? What can I do? Look?
- 9:43I got a beautiful wife. We were well, we got along, at
- 9:48least I thought we did. Then he says in the book, Well you
- 9:52know, yes, I know. Oh confounded Templar, a thing like that.
- 9:56How can you be sure? Police says it's a lot of eyewash.
- 10:00But she says, a lot of eyewash. But I've been watching her,
- 10:03watching her and the kid. That's the trouble gets you suspicious. I've been
- 10:05watching there's something between them. I know there is. But if only I
- 10:09could be certain? You sure I took those pills? I'm sure. I
- 10:15mustn't forget. Doc says, I'm well, anyway, back to what I
- 10:18was saying. What was I saying? You think there's something between Phelipe and
- 10:22the kid? Yeah? Yeah, think if only I was. Who's kidding?
- 10:28Who I know? If Patterson is right about that, If he's right
- 10:31about that, well, don't you see he was the murder. Oh he
- 10:35could be right about that too. It comes next, Yeah, the murder
- 10:37comes next lod necessarily, That's why I got Monk. Big guy used to
- 10:41be the kid's sparring partner. Where is he? He ought to be here?
- 10:46Say, look, you still haven't told me what you're doing here,
- 10:48Temper? What do you want? Nothing more with you, Guynett, But
- 10:50I would like to see Felipe. Is she at home? No? At
- 10:54the hotel? Bennett? Oh? Yes? After this business he moved out,
- 10:58said I was too suspicious, wouldn't be suspicious? But I love her,
- 11:01Templar. That's the trouble. Why did he have to say, do
- 11:05you suppose there's a chance? Oh no? Why do I keep trying to
- 11:09kid myself? Get out of here? Temper? Will you get out?
- 11:11I'm going, Guynette, goodbye. Wait a minute, where do you think
- 11:18you're going? Mister Hope mon Oh, mister Garnett, I didn't know you
- 11:24was here. I've seen this fellow come out of the living room. I
- 11:26didn't know who he was. You might have asked before you broke my jaw?
- 11:30Is it brooke in at least three plates? Ah? You kid?
- 11:33Does she defriend you? As mister Garnett? Friend? Is anyone a friend
- 11:37in this doggy dog world? I don't know. Help him up, mole,
- 11:39help myself. Oh oh, all right, monk, you want sparring
- 11:46practice, I'll be glad to accommodate you. Wait a minute, what's she
- 11:48doing here, mister Glennett? I'm not quite sure which I throw him out?
- 11:52Michael Brains, I'd already be out if you hadn't sudden the rush to
- 11:54the rescue. He's right, monk. And speaking of rushing to the rescue,
- 11:58where were you in a nap? I've got to keep him condition.
- 12:01I might have needed you, well, you got the Roscoe in that case,
- 12:03Why do I ever need you? See? That's a thought? Perhaps,
- 12:07well, Zambra, what are you waiting for? What you were going?
- 12:09But this has been such a delightful get together. I can hardly tear
- 12:13myself away. I couldn't tell you a way. If you need any help,
- 12:16I doubt it. Monk. From the look of you, you don't
- 12:18do that good when the other fellow is in a position to fight back.
- 12:20If you was in a ring as long as I was, you'd be kind
- 12:22of banged up too. But I was plenty good, brother, plenty good.
- 12:26If you want to know. Even Joe Louis was scared of me.
- 12:28Yeah, yeah, he was scared to fight me. How do you like
- 12:31that? Louise was scared to fight me? How do you know? Well
- 12:33did he ever fight me? Not that I know? All right, there,
- 12:35I see what you mean. Well, goodbye again, fellows, come
- 12:54in? Well look what I get. And I didn't even send in any
- 12:58box what I was expecting Randy Patterson. But he can wait. In fact,
- 13:03I hope he does come in. Come in, mister Temper, you've
- 13:07got to help me. Well, in that case, you'd better call me
- 13:09Simon. All right, and what do I call you? Police? Police?
- 13:11Gone it? Oh? Oh, I'm so glad to meet you,
- 13:15Felice. In fact, I've tried to reach you several times today. Really
- 13:18why, well do you see I'm a friend of Randy Patterson. I didn't
- 13:22know he had any friends. Live and learn. It's not want to keep
- 13:24on living. That's why I came here. If you're a friend of Pattison's,
- 13:28maybe I made a mistake, not necessarily what brings you here? I
- 13:31heard you'd been to see my husband. I wanted what your interest in us
- 13:35was. I'm afraid i've found out you said you wanted me to help you.
- 13:39I did when I heard you were involved. I thought you might be
- 13:41just the one to turn to. That was before you told me about Pattison.
- 13:43Any friend of his is an enemy of mine, of course, But
- 13:46Felice, I believe in the old saying love your enemy. It's rather difficult.
- 13:48Apparently you need someone to help you. Why not give me a try?
- 13:54Just? Uh, what help do you need? Well? It well,
- 13:58I got heard to tell you I'm being framed for what my husband's murder.
- 14:03Has he been murdered? Why not yet? But you know, it's
- 14:07funny how everyone seems to take it for granted that he will be He will,
- 14:11how do you know? But that's what it's all about. What didn't
- 14:13you read the book? Just because Randy wrote a book, But that's why
- 14:18he wrote it so my husband could be murdered. Is that a fact?
- 14:20Of course, Patterson wrote a book simply disguised about me and my husband and
- 14:24kid Waldo, And it's a kid and I have plot to kill my husband.
- 14:28So George read it, got frightened. Now he suspects maybe we really
- 14:31are planning to kill him. He's even hot a bodyguard. M h,
- 14:35what don't you see? It's all a build up and George really is killed
- 14:39naturally. It looked like a kid, Now, I did it. That's
- 14:39the whole idea, and Randy's in on the plot. Of course, the
- 14:43real killer hired him to throw suspicion on us. Just who is the real
- 14:46killer? I don't know. That's what I wanted you to find out.
- 14:48Well, it's an interesting theory, police theory. I'll check to see if
- 14:52it's anything more than that. You will. But if Patterson your friend,
- 14:56he's pocketing blood money, this is the end of an not so beautiful friendship.
- 15:01And then FELICEU and I could be friends. Oh, Simon, if
- 15:05you help me, we'll be more than a friend. Aren't you forgetting just
- 15:09one small little item? Am I? Oh you told me the kid?
- 15:15Do you? So you don't really believe there's anything between him and me?
- 15:18Perish the thought? Well, but isn't there anything else? Now? Think
- 15:22I'm guessing games? What about your husband? I mean, before you and
- 15:26I give way the mad rapture, shouldn't we think about him? Oh?
- 15:31So that's what's bothering. But we don't have to worry about him. He's
- 15:35going to be murdered. No, don't look now, But isn't that what
- 15:37you want me to prevent his murder? Heavens, no, I just want
- 15:41you to prove I had nothing to do with it. You'd better run along,
- 15:43police, No more what I feel a previous engagement coming on. I
- 15:48don't tell me you're afraid of my husband. No, Police, then I
- 15:52don't understand I'm afraid of you. Hello, Randy Temple, Oh boy,
- 16:08how are we doing? I thought you were coming over here. I've been
- 16:11detained and she didn't have a friend. Probably let on if you've got something
- 16:15for me, and I can tell you over the phone. It seems each
- 16:18of your opposition has picked up reinforcement. Oh well, the kid has a
- 16:22couple of lawyers, and Garnett has a bodyguard. M. How about missus
- 16:27Garnett? She has me. Oh I should have known. I want to
- 16:30look at her. I'm not still running. But I'm afraid you're going to
- 16:33have to tell me who did your research for you? Randy. I told
- 16:38you it was strictly confidential. You can have to tell me now or the
- 16:41police later. Police. M Because your characters seemed determined to act out the
- 16:45finale of your open Garnett is already shopping for a coffin. But I just
- 16:51made up that stuff about the murder. I don't think the kid in the
- 16:53gall would really knock him off. The consensus is that somebody would, so
- 16:56you'd better talk. But I gave my word. Did that ever stop you
- 17:00before, Tapler, to think that you should say such a thing. You
- 17:04who've been so close, we've been too close? All right, all right,
- 17:08I'm a no good at he or a liar. I'd sell my soul
- 17:11for a mess of pottage. But at least Templer has always been the best
- 17:15puppage. M hm, Now, would you please stop talking and talk?
- 17:18Do you want me to betray a confidence? I thought we'd agree it in
- 17:21character? How true? How very very true? Randy, Randy, Randy?
- 17:45Do you really believe in keeping me safe? Don't you? Kid?
- 17:48Hi? Oh you again? Temple? Here? Look, why don't you
- 17:52get lost? And hey Patterson with you that hasn't already got lost? That's
- 17:56why I'm here. I don't get it. I was talking to him on
- 17:59the phone. I heard shots. I called the police and they called back
- 18:02from Patterson's plate. He's dead. I'm not surprised. What do you know
- 18:06about it? He had a coming from you? Maybe only somebody beat me
- 18:10to it? Is that? So? I got nothing more to say?
- 18:11You want conversations see my lawyer Smith and McCormick. Guy. I know I
- 18:15may get around to it. I do that. Oh Zon, I asked
- 18:33at the death if i'd find you here in the bar, That's where I
- 18:37am. Here is the bar very well. Nobody's been here all afternoon,
- 18:44he scept my friend Tony. Tony's my favorite bargender, Tony. I am
- 18:48a stand charmed police. Tony hit me again? My friends setting him up?
- 18:56Thank you? Simon? What are you drinking? ID? Just watch
- 19:00you good? Suppose you tell me? I've been wondering. You want to
- 19:07know if I have an alibi? Why? Why are you from your places?
- 19:10I have any other times? I see you hate me? Don't you
- 19:14know? Why do you keep spying on me? I think they can't keep
- 19:18myself away from you. If you believed it, I wouldn't say it.
- 19:26You're just trying to mix me up. You've already mixed me up. What's
- 19:29this alibi you were talking about? How do you know about that? It's
- 19:34not in the papers? You really, Simon for a smart man. You're
- 19:37the kids told me? How else do you think I know you didn't waste
- 19:40any time? Did he? You knew I'd be interested? Nice attim to
- 19:44be so considerate. I thought there was nothing between you two. You are
- 19:48spying. I'm curious, and maybe you're jealous. Jealous, Simon terribly.
- 19:57I wish I believe that what's between you and the kid? I told you
- 20:02nothing. He phoned you, and you'd be interested getting a noo place.
- 20:07You could get someplace, Simon and phoney to stop acting so sweet? Could
- 20:12Don't you like me a little? Yes? I like you? Simon?
- 20:21Who do you think killed Randy Patterson? Police? Must we talk about it
- 20:25a beginning? You think it's the safest subject. Don't you have any idea
- 20:27who might have done it? No, I'm afraid I don't know what you
- 20:30want, Samond, I'm afraid I do know what you want. Well,
- 20:34hello, kid, I don't get the wrong idea. Kid, we were
- 20:37just talking about the murder you were making with the moon eyes. I can't
- 20:41believe me. There's nothing between Simon and me, not a thing. It's
- 20:45right, kid, there's nothing more between us than there is between her and
- 20:48say have you for example? And she has assured me your relationship with strict
- 20:52me, patonic police. You told him, No, I don't get the
- 20:56wrong idea. I do. I ain't got any idea. What is Blad
- 21:00was a philosopher student of Socrates, who believe that if two people got a
- 21:03wife's guy, hurry, kids, please don't be angry. No, you'll
- 21:07play around with this guy. And then he starts cracking smile. I want
- 21:10to push your face out. Oh kid, never strike a lady, and
- 21:12you too, are a gentleman when the gentleman is me. Yeah, we'll
- 21:17see all right, flea Sims, but not this time. Right now,
- 21:22it only takes three stakes. You're out. Now that's enough. Kid.
- 21:26One morning, maybe i'd be out, so i'd better be running. See
- 21:29you around. Ooh you you greet me with a gun too, Monk.
- 21:49That's what I like about this place. Oh friendly? You got no idea
- 21:52house friendly? Just the guy we want to see. Come in, pell
- 21:56come right in. Now, that's a switch. Last time you were all
- 21:59for throwing me up. Oh as before I learned what a sweet guya was.
- 22:02Now come on in with such a hearty invitation. I don't see how
- 22:04I can refuse. You can't, you know, monk, this is an
- 22:08unexpected pleasure. When I was here before I got the impression Guyette was considering
- 22:12firing you. Well, he couldn't do that. Where is he? In
- 22:15fact, you'll be in a minute now. You want to see why you
- 22:18couldn't find me? Why? On account of there some things I can do
- 22:22so much better? Like, for instance, oh you kick so beautifully,
- 22:26monk, your mother must have been a rock at I don't try to hit.
- 22:29Fact, this roscoe is looking at your belly with a set n everybody's
- 22:33target for tonight. What's the idea? Mister Garnett wanted to know how much
- 22:36Patterson toy you. Yes, you're nice, real nice. I don't ask
- 22:40so nice, but I get answers. Well, do you want to talk?
- 22:42Now? Shall we dance? I have nothing to say. We'll see
- 22:45you. You still got nothing to say. I'm beginning to think of a
- 22:49few things, but I have an idea. You wouldn't care for them.
- 22:52You kill me. Maybe I can do the same for you sometime, like
- 22:56right now, for instance, like you're ready to talk, I think about
- 22:59it. Well, why you think and put up your hands over your head.
- 23:02Hurry up, don't forget the rosco? My old friend. How could
- 23:04I that's shit, and now just to help you make up your mind is
- 23:08oh well, hello, mister Garnette. What's going on here? Hello,
- 23:12TEMpl I'm greeting mister Gannett. You don't want to talk, mister Garnett.
- 23:15I've been trying to change his mind. I'll go right ahead. Don't let
- 23:18me stop you, for it's no use. He's a stubborn type. Yes,
- 23:22so it would see monks, so it would seem well, Templa,
- 23:25do what are we indebted for? This return? Visitor? I've seen felice.
- 23:29I thought you might like to know how she's getting along? Why should
- 23:32I care? Does she care about me? Does she ever even call?
- 23:34Don't stand there with your hands like that, Templar, It looks ridiculous,
- 23:37smoked idea you are, mister Garnett. Temple put him down? How is
- 23:42she Templar? Who? Oh? Fully, I was afraid of that,
- 23:47afraid I'd like to think she needed me. I've got to put her out
- 23:49of my mind, Template completely, only answer. Tell me something, Guynette.
- 23:52What where were you this afternoon? Home? All afternoon? Yes?
- 23:59Why anyone with you? I was the whole time? Yes, except for
- 24:03another nap. He likes to keep in condition only I didn't sleep so good.
- 24:07I was only gone a few minutes, just a few minutes, half
- 24:08hour or so. Whiet templar, did you try to reach me? No
- 24:11good if i'd have heard the phone, if you were here, But I
- 24:15told you he did. It's a minute. What are you going to do
- 24:18just this, Templer? Why you knocked out monk? Yeah, so it
- 24:23seems funny. I didn't hit him very high. You aimed at his chin,
- 24:26always was his weakness. Had a wicked right but he could never take
- 24:30it round heels. That's his trouble. I could have made a champ out
- 24:33of him if it hadn't been for those. But there's neither here nor there.
- 24:37Why'd you do it? He slugged me before when I wasn't lucking.
- 24:41This even's the account, and it gives me a chance to get his rosc
- 24:44oh. I want to point something out to you, Guyett. I didn't
- 24:48want Monk interfering what Randy Patrison doesn't live too far from here. I believe
- 24:53you could make it in fifteen minutes, perhaps so, perhaps so? What
- 24:56are you driving at? Fifteen there? Fifteen back? Half hour would have
- 24:59been long enough for what for you? To have gone to his place and
- 25:02killed him, killed him? Do you mean has somebody? Why don't present?
- 25:08I'm not pleased, but surely you don't really think that. I why
- 25:11that's upset? You could have while Monk was bleeping. No, No,
- 25:15you don't understand. It's at least fifteen minutes to Patterson's place, at the
- 25:19very least if you hurry race like Matt. How do you know? I've
- 25:22been there but not today? Not today? But you know you said yourself,
- 25:26all right, fifteen minutes round flipp in half an hour that you needed.
- 25:30Well, that was just round figures. I'm sure Monk couldn't have been
- 25:33out of the room for oh well, twenty minutes the most. You'll see
- 25:37when he comes to well, ask him twenty minutes at the most. I'm
- 25:40sure he'll say whatever you want him to. But we'll see. Say I
- 25:44just thought of something. What has there been any report about the murder yet?
- 25:48The newspaper, radio? No? Not so well then, mister Templar,
- 25:52how come you happen to know about It's a nice point, Garnett,
- 25:55But notice what big ears I have, Grandpa I overheard overheard in telephone man,
- 26:00Monk, wake up, wake up, Hey Worthy, Oh hey,
- 26:04it was an accident. I slipped, I hit my head. You didn't
- 26:07your Monk? Sure, what big ears you have too, Monk? Genuine
- 26:11cauliflower? How did you hear about it? You? But what the murder?
- 26:15Oh me? I'm obviously Guynette didn't know about the murderer. He wouldn't
- 26:18have stuck his neck out by admitting you were out of the room. He
- 26:22didn't start crawling until I mentioned the murder. That's right, Temper, you
- 26:25know that. I also noticed that Monk was very busy trying to build the
- 26:27alibi before I mentioned the murder. We was sure I was trying to protect
- 26:32this to Gonett. After all, I got a great sense of world.
- 26:34No, Monk, you haven't got any sense of loyalty or any sense.
- 26:38How did you know he needed protection unless you knew about the murder? Of
- 26:42course, how did he know the murderer? Are you crazy? Maybe?
- 26:45Monk, But the alibi you were preparing for Garynett would have worked for you
- 26:48too. If you were here with Garnett, you couldn't have committed the murder.
- 26:52Isn't that why you insisted you were gone only a few minutes? My
- 26:56head hurts I got nothing to say. What tempa, What motive would Monk
- 26:59have? There's one thing we've all been wondering about, Gunet. How did
- 27:03Randy find out about your wife and the kid. Must have been from someone
- 27:06who is close to the kid, say a sparring partner for a templar.
- 27:11You've hit it. I think so. Monk gave Randy the information. Then
- 27:15when things got hot, Monk was afraid Randy might snitch, though he killed
- 27:18him to turn. That's a templar. That's it, Monk, you scounder.
- 27:22You will shut up. Monk. That's in support nation. Not come
- 27:26on, Monk, You and I are going to police headquarters. Monk,
- 27:30don't try to get tough. Maybe Joe Lewis is scared of you, but

- 30:38will say that while the ending was a bit of a twist, and certainly
- 30:45not when I saw Counting the first time I listened to it, it also
- 30:49strange Creduelty a little bit, just because the motive is relatively weak compared to
