• 0:11
  Speaker 1: That's right.
• 0:11
Speaker 2: It is Friday, and it's time for the Stardom Cinnam Show.
• 0:13
Speaker 2: Welcome everybody to Week sixteen. I'm Marcus Grant, That's Michael F. Florio,
• 0:18
Speaker 2: and the Fantasy playoffs are underway, semi final week and
• 0:22
Speaker 2: a lot of fantasy playoffs have already begun. Got going
• 0:25
Speaker 2: on Thursday night with the Rams and the Saints right
• 0:28
Speaker 2: over there at Sofi Stadium. Meantime, we're gonna take you
• 0:31
Speaker 2: through the rest of Week sixteen. You got a busy
• 0:34
Speaker 2: week because not only you have a ton of teams
• 0:36
Speaker 2: in the playoffs. I know you're gonna be at so
• 0:37
Speaker 2: Fi for Bill's Chargers on Saturday.
• 0:39
Speaker 3: I am. The only question is how much Bills stuff?
• 0:42
Speaker 3: Should I wear too?
• 0:43
  Speaker 2: All of it?
• 0:44
Speaker 3: Yeah, Like I asked Nicolett, I was like, should I
• 0:46
Speaker 3: wear my like Bill's socks too? And She's like, no, no, no,
• 0:49
Speaker 3: maybe don't do that. But I think I'm gonna.
• 0:51
Speaker 2: I think you wear all of the things. I think
• 0:52
Speaker 2: that's just what you do because I think the Bills
• 0:54
Speaker 2: are gonna win fairly easily in that one. In the meantime,
• 0:57
Speaker 2: we got a lot to talk about. Of course, Florio
• 0:59
Speaker 2: writes to start them Sindham column. You can read that
• 1:01
Speaker 2: every single week at NFL dot com Slash Start Sit
• 1:04
Speaker 2: we will talk about his top starts and sits, because
• 1:07
Speaker 2: that's the name of the show. I also going to
• 1:09
Speaker 2: tell you who's going to pile up the points and
• 1:10
Speaker 2: the Kwan Jones, and I'm sure a pretty fire Shirt's
• 1:12
Speaker 2: gonna come by a little bit later to talk about
• 1:15
Speaker 2: some streamers. But let's get started with the quarterback list
• 1:18
Speaker 2: for week sixteen. Taking a look at your starts and sits.
• 1:21
  Speaker 1: Who you got?
• 1:23
Speaker 3: Justin Fields is in play. I think gonna bounce back
• 1:25
Speaker 3: spot Brock Purdy. I don't care about the matchup. He's
• 1:28
Speaker 3: too good to get away from. Jake Browning is in play.
• 1:31
Speaker 3: And the fourth name there, that was Matthew Stafford. Hopefully
• 1:34
Speaker 3: you started him the sis. Russell Wilson will talk about him.
• 1:37
Speaker 3: It's all over for Sam Howe. You can go ahead
• 1:39
Speaker 3: and drop him now with the matchups that he has
• 1:41
Speaker 3: left Minshew and then I'm not chasing the points from
• 1:44
Speaker 3: last week eight and O'Connell. That said more about the
• 1:46
Speaker 3: Chargers than it did AOC one hundred percent about that. Yeah,
• 1:49
Speaker 3: that was less about the Raiders, more about the guys
• 1:51
Speaker 3: on the other side with the lightning bolts on their helmets.
• 1:54
Speaker 2: Let's go back to Jake Browning because he's been a
• 1:56
Speaker 2: pretty good starter ever since Joe Burrow went down. Did
• 1:59
Speaker 2: not have great game the last time he faced the
• 2:02
Speaker 2: Steelers though, a few weeks ago, but you believe he's
• 2:04
Speaker 2: gonna bounce back this week.
• 2:05
  Speaker 4: Yeah, I do.
• 2:06
Speaker 3: That was his first start when he faced the Steelers.
• 2:09
Speaker 3: Since then, in his last three twenty three Fantasy points
• 2:12
Speaker 3: per game nearly three hundred and twenty passing yards per game.
• 2:15
Speaker 3: Even with that down performance, he is the sixth best
• 2:18
Speaker 3: fantasy quarterback in the last month, and the Steelers their
• 2:21
Speaker 3: last two games twenty or more fantasy points to Gardner
• 2:25
Speaker 3: Minshew and Bailey Zappi. So yeah, I think you stick
• 2:28
Speaker 3: with what has been working as of late, and that
• 2:31
Speaker 3: is Jake Browning, even though I am unfortunately facing him
• 2:35
Speaker 3: in our Fantasy Live league.
• 2:36
Speaker 2: I mean, we were worried about what Jake Browning was
• 2:38
Speaker 2: going to do, whether or not we could start any
• 2:40
Speaker 2: of our Bengals, and look, it's not exactly the same
• 2:43
Speaker 2: as it was with Joe Burrow, but it's been pretty
• 2:45
  Speaker 2: good with.
• 2:46
Speaker 1: Jake Browning so far at quarterback.
• 2:48
Speaker 2: Meanwhile, Russell Wilson, You and I were talking about this
• 2:51
Speaker 2: just a few days ago, that Russell Wilson is actually
• 2:53
Speaker 2: playing better this year than he did last year, but
• 2:56
Speaker 2: in fantasy you're still only getting like fifteen to seventeen
• 2:59
Speaker 2: points from him. It hasn't really translated to the fantasy numbers.
• 3:02
Speaker 2: This week, He's got the Patriots. Their offense stinks, their
• 3:05
Speaker 2: defense does not. Though.
• 3:07
Speaker 3: Yeah, I think this man right here, because I like
• 3:09
Speaker 3: to think this is Bill Belichick's He's gonna make life
• 3:12
Speaker 3: tough on Russell Wilson this week. And like Marcus just said,
• 3:16
Speaker 3: save floor like fifteen to seventeen points every week. The
• 3:19
Speaker 3: issue is, Russell Wilson hasn't reached eighteen in five straight games.
• 3:23
Speaker 3: Now he gets to Patriots, who since week eleven, I
• 3:28
Speaker 3: mean since week ten, I mean, only Mitchell Trubisky has
• 3:30
Speaker 3: topped sixteen fantasy points against his Patriots defense, and most
• 3:33
Speaker 3: of that came in garbage time, with a rushing touchdown
• 3:36
Speaker 3: mixed in there as well. They held Mahomes a fewer
• 3:38
Speaker 3: than sixteen justin Herbert and Garner Minshew to single digits
• 3:42
Speaker 3: against them, So, in what could be a low scoring
• 3:45
Speaker 3: rock fight, kind of game. I think you try to
• 3:47
Speaker 3: get away from Russell Wilson.
• 3:49
Speaker 2: I mean you talk about him just hitting the eighteen
• 3:51
Speaker 2: points once over the last few weeks. He's only done
• 3:53
Speaker 2: at once since Week six. I mean we go back,
• 3:56
Speaker 2: we have to go back aways for him to have
• 3:57
Speaker 2: actually put together back to back eighteen point game. So
• 4:00
Speaker 2: that's kind of what it's been for Russell Wilson. Those
• 4:03
Speaker 2: are the quarterbacks. Let's talk some wide receivers. The guy's
• 4:06
Speaker 2: catching the football this week? Who do you like as
• 4:08
  Speaker 2: a start and a sit?
• 4:10
Speaker 3: I think Stefan Diggs. Look, call me a homer all
• 4:12
Speaker 3: you want. He's paying the Chargers, you play him. Rashid
• 4:16
Speaker 3: Rice is the Chiefs wide receiver one. Dee Higgins is
• 4:19
Speaker 3: now the Bengals wide receiver one. Jordan Addison, I'll take
• 4:22
Speaker 3: the l on him. Last week, Calvin Ridley even in
• 4:26
Speaker 3: what the great matchup is in play? And then the
• 4:28
Speaker 3: sis Terry McLaurin. It hurts me to say, but the
• 4:31
Speaker 3: Jets are a tough matchup. Marquise Brown not looking like
• 4:34
Speaker 3: he's gonna suit up, but have a plan for him
• 4:36
Speaker 3: whether or not he does. Adam feeln and the ultimate
• 4:39
Speaker 3: boomer bust option in game. Davis is one that I
• 4:42
Speaker 3: think I'm gonna try to play it safe with.
• 4:43
Speaker 2: All Right, so let's kind of break some of these down.
• 4:46
Speaker 2: Individual You mentioned Jordan Addison. You were off of him
• 4:49
Speaker 2: last week. I admit that I was not all that
• 4:51
Speaker 2: excited about him. I didn't know what Nickmullins was going
• 4:53
Speaker 2: to do. We talked about Nick Mullins did not have
• 4:56
Speaker 2: a good actual real life game, but he had a
• 4:59
Speaker 2: good fantasy game. Jordan Edison just had a straight up
• 5:01
  Speaker 2: good game regardless.
• 5:02
Speaker 3: Yeah, and so like two touchdowns. The second one I
• 5:05
Speaker 3: watched and I was like, what are you doing letting
• 5:07
Speaker 3: Nick Mullens throw that ball? But hey, he caught it.
• 5:09
Speaker 3: It was a touchdown, And yeah, I'll take the l
• 5:12
Speaker 3: for last week. Addison had been struggling. It was a
• 5:15
Speaker 3: third string quarterback. But he looks Nick Mullens looks like
• 5:19
Speaker 3: a better passer for this Vikings passing attack than Josh
• 5:22
Speaker 3: Dobbs has been. So I think that puts Jordan Addison
• 5:25
Speaker 3: in play, especially this week as the Lions have really
• 5:28
Speaker 3: struggled against wide receivers. It's going to be a game,
• 5:31
Speaker 3: in my opinion, where the Vikings have to put up
• 5:33
Speaker 3: points because the Lions will get plenty of their own,
• 5:35
Speaker 3: which probably means more throwing. So because of all that,
• 5:38
Speaker 3: I think Jordan Addison remains in play.
• 5:40
Speaker 2: I mean, he continues to have a very good rookie season.
• 5:43
Speaker 2: I know, you know, we talk about rookie receivers, Pukaakua
• 5:45
Speaker 2: comes to the top of the list, but let's not
• 5:47
Speaker 2: overlook what Jordan Addison has done over the majority of
• 5:51
  Speaker 2: the year.
• 5:51
Speaker 1: This year for the Vikings.
• 5:53
Speaker 2: Calvin Ridley, I mean, you talk about a guy who just, yeah,
• 5:56
Speaker 2: some weeks it seems great. Some weeks he seems to
• 5:58
Speaker 2: sort of disappear. Without Christian Kirk, Calvin Ridley has really
• 6:01
Speaker 2: stepped to the forefront for the Jaguars and then it's
• 6:04
Speaker 2: a great matchup this week against the Bucks.
• 6:06
Speaker 3: Exactly the reason is why I love Calvin Ridley this
• 6:10
Speaker 3: week twenty five targets in his last two games combined.
• 6:13
Speaker 3: He leads the NFL with seventeen end zone targets. I
• 6:16
Speaker 3: know it becomes a weekly game of isly going to
• 6:19
Speaker 3: make a miraculous catch in the end zone for a
• 6:21
Speaker 3: touchdown or not? But the Bucks have allowed the second
• 6:24
Speaker 3: most yards to wide receivers, their top four in yards
• 6:26
Speaker 3: and touchdowns on deep passes. We know that he'll get
• 6:29
Speaker 3: a couple of downfield shots. So whether or not Trevor
• 6:32
Speaker 3: Lawrence plays, I think you could start Calvin Ridley. He
• 6:34
Speaker 3: just becomes a lot more volatile if it's not Trevor
• 6:37
  Speaker 3: Lawrence throwing.
• 6:38
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I think that's sort of the issue there.
• 6:40
Speaker 2: Now. Trevor Lawrence did practice on Friday, still got to
• 6:44
Speaker 2: wait to see whether or not he clears concussion protocol
• 6:46
Speaker 2: and is able to go this week against Tampa Bay.
• 6:49
Speaker 2: You mentioned Gabe Davis, the ultimate boomer bust, right. He
• 6:51
Speaker 2: has been the cardio king of the week on Fantasy Live.
• 6:54
Speaker 2: I think at least four times, maybe five. He's got
• 6:57
Speaker 2: multiple games with zero point zero, zero points. It's the
• 7:00
Speaker 2: Blueto Blue Tarski. For those of you who are of
• 7:02
Speaker 2: a certain age, the Chargers this week, I mean, you
• 7:06
Speaker 2: couldn't really ask for a better matchup than that, But
• 7:09
Speaker 2: you are still not starting Gabe Davis.
• 7:11
Speaker 3: The only way I would play Gabe Davis is if
• 7:13
Speaker 3: like you're a huge underdog and you need to swing
• 7:16
Speaker 3: for the fences, because he could have like a twenty
• 7:18
Speaker 3: point game this week. I'm not saying he can't. The
• 7:20
Speaker 3: issue is in three of the four games with Joe
• 7:22
Speaker 3: Brady as the Bills offensive coordinator, he has not scored
• 7:25
Speaker 3: a single Fantasy point and in those three games he
• 7:28
Speaker 3: has four targets combined or three targets, so no volume
• 7:34
Speaker 3: going his way. It's been more Digs and Kincaid and Shakir.
• 7:38
Speaker 3: But the matchup again, does always lead to a high ceiling.
• 7:41
Speaker 3: If you're in a close game looking for a safe floor,
• 7:43
Speaker 3: Davis is not the play for you, only if you
• 7:45
Speaker 3: are swinging for the fences.
• 7:47
Speaker 1: I think he tried to get him in.
• 7:48
Speaker 2: I just have this weird feeling. There's nothing analytical to
• 7:50
Speaker 2: sort of back this up, but just that they're gonna
• 7:52
Speaker 2: overcorrect because he has been not involved at all, that
• 7:56
Speaker 2: somehow they just get him really heavily involved. That seems
• 7:59
  Speaker 2: I've been the k I'm.
• 8:00
Speaker 3: Hoping that that narrative goes to Diggs not.
• 8:03
Speaker 2: Game is each too. No, no, no, He's a first
• 8:06
Speaker 2: choice absolutely, but gave Davis, like, you know, this could
• 8:08
Speaker 2: be a game where all of a sudden he's got
• 8:09
Speaker 2: like three catches for like a buck ten like a
• 8:11
  Speaker 2: touchdown or.
• 8:12
Speaker 3: Something sounds like three hundred yards and multiple touchdowns for
• 8:15
Speaker 3: Josh Allen to me, not out of the question against
• 8:18
  Speaker 3: the Chargers.
• 8:19
Speaker 2: Also not out of the question. Is us coming back
• 8:21
Speaker 2: and talking some more starts? And since we got running
• 8:23
Speaker 2: backs and tight ends, stick around for more of the
• 8:25
Speaker 2: Stardum Sidham Show. What's More Holiday Than Football? The Holiday
• 8:35
Speaker 2: Classic is back on NFL Network. Christmas Eve is a
• 8:38
Speaker 2: special night of primetime football as the New England Patriots
• 8:41
Speaker 2: take on the Denver Broncos. It's the NFL Holiday Classics, Sunday,
• 8:46
Speaker 2: eight pm Eastern only on NFL Network and streaming on
• 8:50
Speaker 2: NFL Plus. Down to take a look at some start
• 8:53
Speaker 2: running backs for Week sixteen.
• 8:55
Speaker 3: Florido Go James Cook is as must start as it
• 8:59
Speaker 3: can be be On Robinson, I think is going to
• 9:01
Speaker 3: bounce back in a big way this week. Same thing
• 9:03
Speaker 3: with Derek Henry, DeAndre Swift keeps getting a lot of
• 9:06
Speaker 3: volume and speaking to volume. Ezekiel Elliott far too much
• 9:09
Speaker 3: to get away from in a great matchup. Some sis
• 9:12
Speaker 3: javont because again I'm worried about this Broncos offense against
• 9:15
Speaker 3: the Patriots. Jerome Ford because the Texans have been one
• 9:18
Speaker 3: of the hardest matchups for running backs. Najee Harris has
• 9:21
Speaker 3: given you nothing as of late. You have to get
• 9:23
Speaker 3: away and Gus Edwards because forty nine ers.
• 9:26
Speaker 2: All right, So let's kind of dive into some of
• 9:28
Speaker 2: these individually. DeAndre Swift going against the Giants. The Eagles sputtering.
• 9:34
Speaker 2: They've lost three in a row right now, people are
• 9:37
Speaker 2: panicking in Philadelphia. They're turning over cheese, steak trucks, the
• 9:40
Speaker 2: whole thing. They're not running the ball super effectively. But
• 9:44
Speaker 2: you do think DeAndre Swift can break through against big blow?
• 9:47
Speaker 3: Yeah, and Eagles fans who are freaking out. Just it
• 9:50
Speaker 3: might be better to go on the road and face
• 9:51
Speaker 3: the winner of the NFC South than to win your
• 9:53
Speaker 3: division and play the Rams at home. Just food for thought.
• 9:55
Speaker 3: But DeAndre Swift very much so in play. I know
• 9:59
Speaker 3: last week was a floor game with nine point five
• 10:01
Speaker 3: Fantasy points, but twenty touches sixty percent of the carries.
• 10:06
Speaker 3: He got stopped at the goal line only to watch
• 10:08
Speaker 3: Jalen Hurts punch it in. Yeah, I know that that
• 10:10
Speaker 3: part's a little annoying, but the volume is what we want,
• 10:13
Speaker 3: especially in a matchup against the Giants, who allowed the
• 10:15
Speaker 3: third most rushing yards to running backs this year, tenth
• 10:18
Speaker 3: most fantasy points, third most rushing touchdowns. So yeah, I
• 10:22
Speaker 3: think this is a game where if the Eagles have
• 10:23
Speaker 3: a lead as well, they're not gonna be trailing like
• 10:26
Speaker 3: they have been as of late. So probably a lot
• 10:28
Speaker 3: of DeAndre Swift to grind out the gap.
• 10:30
Speaker 2: Yeah, this feels like a get right game. I keep
• 10:31
Speaker 2: saying the Eagles just went through a gauntlet. I mean
• 10:34
Speaker 2: just the stretch they went through a lot. Five games
• 10:37
Speaker 2: be hard for any team. I think this is a
• 10:38
Speaker 2: chance for them to bounce back. Meanwhile, the Ravens and
• 10:41
Speaker 2: the forty nine Ers, that is how the weekend ends
• 10:43
Speaker 2: on Monday Night should be a great game too. Very
• 10:47
Speaker 2: good offenses to very good defenses. How do you feel
• 10:50
Speaker 2: about Gus the Bus Edwards against that Niner run defense.
• 10:53
Speaker 3: I'm very scared of that forty nine Ers run defense.
• 10:56
Speaker 3: I do not love starting running backs against them, especially
• 10:59
Speaker 3: safe floor or running backs, and that's what Gus Edwards
• 11:02
Speaker 3: typically has been when Keaton Mitchell is not in there.
• 11:05
Speaker 3: But he does not have a game this year with
• 11:08
Speaker 3: double digit fantasy points without a rushing touchdown. The forty
• 11:12
Speaker 3: nine Ers have allowed the second fewest rushing yards, seventh
• 11:15
Speaker 3: fewest fantasy points per game. They are very stingy. They
• 11:19
Speaker 3: don't allow a bunch of running backs either. Lamar is
• 11:21
Speaker 3: always a threat, so not Look. I understand some of
• 11:25
Speaker 3: you in a pinch who I need to start him
• 11:26
Speaker 3: because of volume, But if I have options, I'm gonna
• 11:29
Speaker 3: choose the one that is not facing the forty nine Ers.
• 11:32
Speaker 2: The other part of that, though, is he does play
• 11:34
Speaker 2: the very last game, So you gotta make your decision
• 11:36
Speaker 2: early about what you're gonna do with Gus Edwards because.
• 11:38
Speaker 1: There's no going back once you make that move.
• 11:41
Speaker 2: And against to Monday, let's turn our attention out to
• 11:44
Speaker 2: tight ends four week sixteen. Always the names are kind
• 11:48
Speaker 2: of the names at this point, But who do you
• 11:49
  Speaker 2: like to start?
• 11:50
Speaker 1: Who do you like as a set?
• 11:51
Speaker 3: Evan Ingram because volume Isaiah likely will talk about even
• 11:55
Speaker 3: in a tough matchup. David Njoku is a must start option.
• 11:58
Speaker 3: In that fourth name, it was some hill. I apologize
• 12:01
Speaker 3: this six Kyle Pitts. I'm washing my hands clean of
• 12:04
Speaker 3: him as long as Arthur Smith is the head coach
• 12:06
Speaker 3: Gerald Everett because it could just be an ugly game
• 12:09
Speaker 3: for the Chargers. Logan Thomas has fallen out of favor
• 12:12
Speaker 3: as of late and Michael Mayer, I know, caught a
• 12:15
Speaker 3: touchdown last week. He's more a tight end to get
• 12:17
Speaker 3: excited about next year, not in the fantasy.
• 12:19
Speaker 2: Playoff Michael Mayer definitely with dynasty vibes as opposed to
• 12:22
Speaker 2: I need him in my second week of the playoff vibes.
• 12:25
Speaker 2: Let's talk about though, Isaiah Likely. You mentioned it, you're
• 12:28
Speaker 2: worried about the matchup with Gus Edwards against the forty
• 12:31
Speaker 2: nine ers run defense. You seem like you feel a
• 12:33
Speaker 2: little more confident about Isaiah Likely against the Niners pass defense.
• 12:37
Speaker 3: Yeah. In three games without Mark Andrews this year, he
• 12:40
Speaker 3: has scored eight, nineteen and eighteen fantasy points, good for
• 12:44
Speaker 3: fifteen fantasy points per game. Basically, Mark Andrews and the
• 12:48
Speaker 3: forty nine Ers. I know they look like a tough
• 12:50
Speaker 3: matchup on paper, but since Week eleven, they've allowed these
• 12:54
Speaker 3: second most yards to tight ends. They just gave up
• 12:56
Speaker 3: a really big day to Trey McBride, and the forty
• 13:00
Speaker 3: nine Ers are going to score points. So the Ravens
• 13:03
Speaker 3: might actually have to throw the ball more than usual
• 13:05
Speaker 3: in this game. And Isaiah Likely is a top target
• 13:08
Speaker 3: for Lamar Jackson. So I think you just keep starting men.
• 13:10
Speaker 2: He's a good talented player, and he's getting volume in
• 13:13
Speaker 2: that passing game. It makes it hard to get away
• 13:14
Speaker 2: from him regardless of the situation. Meanwhile, Gerald Effett, you know,
• 13:19
Speaker 2: I think I've sort of given up on trying to
• 13:21
Speaker 2: fit Gerald Everett into a lineup somewhere. I kept trying it,
• 13:24
Speaker 2: and Donald Parham kept ruining my dreams. So like, I'm
• 13:27
Speaker 2: done having my heart broken. Don't love the matchup against
• 13:30
Speaker 2: the Bills. Don't really love the Chargers offense with Easton Stick.
• 13:34
Speaker 2: This feels like an easy sit call.
• 13:36
Speaker 3: Yeah, And the thing is Everett, like you, I'm the
• 13:39
Speaker 3: same way a lot of weeks when I'm in a pension,
• 13:41
Speaker 3: I need a tight end. If the way everywhere, I'm like, oh,
• 13:42
Speaker 3: Gerald Everett, he's usually good for like nine to ten
• 13:45
Speaker 3: Fantasy points something like that. But when you're a safe
• 13:48
Speaker 3: floor option and a bad matchup, that floor gets lowered.
• 13:51
Speaker 3: And that's exactly what the Bills are. Since Week eleven,
• 13:54
Speaker 3: they've allowed fewer than two hundred yards to tight ends,
• 13:57
Speaker 3: no touchdowns in just a fifty seven Hasser rating on
• 14:00
Speaker 3: those targets to the position. So in what could be
• 14:03
Speaker 3: an ugly game, I would try to get away from
• 14:05
  Speaker 3: gerald evert Geraldever.
• 14:06
Speaker 2: It's like it's like that time I think in college,
• 14:08
Speaker 2: I went and got the non craft macaroni and cheese
• 14:11
Speaker 2: because I'm like, it's slightly cheaper. And then I got
• 14:13
  Speaker 2: home and I'm like, that's why I didn't I a
• 14:15
Speaker 2: reason why she was the reason why it's cheaper completely,
• 14:18
Speaker 2: And that's kind of how I feel about joded Ever, Like, hey.
• 14:19
Speaker 1: It seems out there, seems like a great idea.
• 14:21
  Speaker 2: And then like it's it's not a great idea. It's
• 14:23
Speaker 2: not about you, Gerald, it's just about the offense. And
• 14:26
Speaker 2: now with the Eastern stick there quarterback, yeah, even less reason
• 14:29
Speaker 2: to be excited about what could be coming up. Lakwan
• 14:33
Speaker 2: Jones joins us to talk some streamers, plus take it
• 14:36
Speaker 2: a little trip to Club Dub time to sign up
• 14:44
Speaker 2: for the stream team. We're gonna talk some streamers, go
• 14:47
Speaker 2: quarterbacks and kickers because kickers deserve love too. To help
• 14:50
Speaker 2: us out with that research, our extraordinary and fire shirt enthusiasts,
• 14:54
Speaker 2: Lakwan Jones, we have sort of like an unofficial company
• 14:57
Speaker 2: holiday party, a bunch of us about a week ago
• 15:00
Speaker 2: and Florio and I and some others sort of bullied
• 15:02
Speaker 2: you into wearing that shirt today.
• 15:03
Speaker 4: Yeah, you sure did.
• 15:05
  Speaker 2: We're here today.
• 15:07
  Speaker 1: But it's great.
• 15:07
Speaker 2: It works with all this season. It's very Christmas. See
• 15:10
Speaker 2: Florio here is dressed in red and green. I'm dressed
• 15:13
Speaker 2: like crampis because, like I don't know, I just embad
• 15:15
Speaker 2: at planning. Just leave me alone. Let's start though, with
• 15:18
Speaker 2: some streaming quarterback options for the week, and it only
• 15:23
Speaker 2: makes sense that a guy from Jersey is going to
• 15:24
Speaker 2: plug a guy from Jersey here.
• 15:26
Speaker 4: Yeah, of course, Big Jersey man Tommy DeVito has a
• 15:29
Speaker 4: opportunity to be a true fantasy hero with the matchup
• 15:33
Speaker 4: against the Eagles, who are allowing the second most fantasy
• 15:35
Speaker 4: points per game two quarterbacks, and he's been smart with
• 15:38
Speaker 4: the football as of late as well. He has hasn't
• 15:41
Speaker 4: thrown an interception since Week ten one fumble loss, but
• 15:44
Speaker 4: for the most part, he's been smart and cautious with
• 15:46
Speaker 4: the football. With some rushing upside, I think he can
• 15:49
Speaker 4: come out as clean as he could be to punch
• 15:52
Speaker 4: a couple of fantasy managers ticket to the Fantasy Championships
• 15:56
Speaker 4: and put some big points on the board.
• 15:57
Speaker 2: Meanwhile, Florio here is not just this because he's trying
• 16:01
Speaker 2: to be weird or lose because he's got a fun
• 16:04
Speaker 2: the Veto t shirt. Excited for Tommy here we are here.
• 16:11
Speaker 2: He came expressly for the purpose of pumping up not really,
• 16:15
Speaker 2: but the watch Fantasy Live. It'll make sense, trust us.
• 16:18
Speaker 2: But it did work out for the purposes of this show.
• 16:21
Speaker 2: So because Tommy DeVito's off the board is a streaming quarterback, who.
• 16:23
Speaker 3: Do you like as a stream I probably should have
• 16:25
Speaker 3: gave you this shirt. I don't have a Baker Mayfield shirt,
• 16:28
Speaker 3: but I'm excited about Baker Mayfield in this one. I
• 16:32
Speaker 3: almost a Tommy Cutletz there. Baker Mayfield sixteen or more
• 16:35
Speaker 3: Fantasy points in nine to fourteen games this year, but
• 16:37
Speaker 3: his last two twenty or more. Last week was his
• 16:40
Speaker 3: best game of the year. Now he gets to Jacks,
• 16:42
Speaker 3: who allowed the third most fantasy points to quarterbacks, and
• 16:45
Speaker 3: if Trevor Lawrence plays, I think this could be a
• 16:48
Speaker 3: high scoring game. So Baker Mayfield, I think, is someone
• 16:51
Speaker 3: that is going to punch them tickets to a fantasy champion.
• 16:54
Speaker 1: I very much like Baker this week. I keep saying it.
• 16:57
Speaker 2: I mean he was an easy punchline at the start
• 16:59
Speaker 2: of the season, but he's well, and more importantly, he
• 17:01
Speaker 2: has helped elevate Mike Evans and to some point Chris
• 17:04
Speaker 2: Godwin as well. I'm gonna go with Geno Smith, and
• 17:07
Speaker 2: not just because people will keep randomly telling me I
• 17:09
Speaker 2: look like the dude on occasion, but because he is
• 17:13
Speaker 2: back under center for the Seattle Seahawks this week and
• 17:16
Speaker 2: he's got a great matchup ahead of him against the
• 17:18
Speaker 2: Tennessee Titans. We have been picking on the Titans secondary
• 17:22
Speaker 2: all year long. This seems like another opportunity to do that.
• 17:25
Speaker 2: I think DK Metcalf is very much in play this week,
• 17:28
Speaker 2: even Tyler Lockett. I know Lockett's been kind of on
• 17:31
Speaker 2: the struggle bus this year, but this does seem like
• 17:33
Speaker 2: a Tyler Lockett week. And who knows, maybe we even
• 17:35
Speaker 2: get another big JSN touchdown. But either way, if you
• 17:38
Speaker 2: are looking for a streamer at quarterback, considered Gino and
• 17:41
Speaker 2: putting him in your lineup. All right, we're switch gears
• 17:45
Speaker 2: and talk about some kickers, because kickers. Man, if you
• 17:49
Speaker 2: had to pick a kicker to stream this week, Lakwan,
• 17:51
Speaker 2: who would it be?
• 17:52
Speaker 4: Well, looks, I mean, look, this is going to be
• 17:54
Speaker 4: a very defensive battle between the Broncos and the Patriots.
• 17:58
Speaker 4: So this Patriots defense have been elite all season long,
• 18:01
Speaker 4: so they're going to be cutting some drive short. So
• 18:03
Speaker 4: I think this sets him up for some opportunities to
• 18:05
Speaker 4: get some field goals, put some points on the board.
• 18:08
Speaker 4: He's pretty good man, top seven in an NFL right now,
• 18:10
Speaker 4: pretty accurate, ninety three percent, three for four from fifty.
• 18:13
Speaker 4: So you're getting a guy that you could just plug
• 18:15
Speaker 4: and play this week to get some points on the board.
• 18:17
Speaker 3: Man, you're gonna be watching that game Sunday night. Just
• 18:20
  Speaker 3: hit the points.
• 18:21
Speaker 1: Might as well just go get the points.
• 18:22
Speaker 2: So while you're at it, by the way, that is
• 18:24
Speaker 2: a little shot for us to tell you to watch
• 18:27
Speaker 2: the game. It's on NFL Network, streaming on NFL Plus
• 18:29
Speaker 2: the host Classic. Thank you. It's what I do here.
• 18:32
Speaker 2: If you had to pick a Chick or Floria, who
• 18:34
Speaker 2: would it be for you?
• 18:35
Speaker 3: Matt Gay who last week I was like, hey, don't
• 18:38
Speaker 3: quit on him after his zero point game two weeks ago.
• 18:41
Speaker 3: He bounced back last week with twelve Fantasy points, was
• 18:44
Speaker 3: the top scoring kicker on the week. Now it's top
• 18:47
Speaker 3: that number in two of his last three games. He's
• 18:49
Speaker 3: been reliable all year long, plus against the Falcons. The
• 18:53
Speaker 3: cults are going to accept the points. I guarantee you
• 18:55
Speaker 3: that they're not gonna be aggressive. And it's an indoor game.
• 18:57
Speaker 3: Just I always this time of year feel better about
• 19:00
  Speaker 3: kickers indoors.
• 19:01
Speaker 2: Absolutely, because you don't really need them out in the elements,
• 19:03
Speaker 2: kicking snow and wind and ice and all that kind
• 19:06
Speaker 2: of stuff. Do you guys remember old old enough to
• 19:08
Speaker 2: remember barefoot kickers in the NFL? Yes? I have seen videos.
• 19:11
Speaker 2: I remember, like the Broncos had a barefoot kicker who
• 19:14
Speaker 2: would kick like in the snow in December in Denver.
• 19:16
Speaker 2: Seems insane. That's a wild boy.
• 19:18
Speaker 3: You have to explain to me how someone thinks taking
• 19:20
Speaker 3: their shoe off is a better idea than kicking with
• 19:23
  Speaker 3: a cleat.
• 19:24
Speaker 2: I have no idea ig him to tell you that.
• 19:27
  Speaker 1: I don't know.
• 19:28
Speaker 2: I got no answer for you. That was the thing
• 19:31
Speaker 2: that happened very much in the eighties. A lot of
• 19:33
Speaker 2: barefoot kickers there. Speaking of kickers, if I had to
• 19:36
Speaker 2: pick one, I'm gonna go Dustin Hopkins going for the
• 19:37
Speaker 2: Cleveland Browns against the Houston Texans one because it is
• 19:41
Speaker 2: going to be indoors, like we just talked about. Also,
• 19:44
Speaker 2: the Browns are movie the football but not necessarily scoring
• 19:47
Speaker 2: a ton of touchdowns, So I do think there's gonna
• 19:50
Speaker 2: be some opportunities for Hopkins to kick some field goals
• 19:52
Speaker 2: against a Texans defense that has certainly been improving as
• 19:55
Speaker 2: the season has gone along. I think this is going
• 19:58
Speaker 2: to be a weirdly entertaining game, but I do think
• 20:01
Speaker 2: Hopkins is going to get some some interesting opportunities. The
• 20:04
Speaker 2: Browns kicking game has been kind of so so this year,
• 20:06
Speaker 2: but I think Hopkins is worth putting in a lineup there.
• 20:10
Speaker 1: So there it is. Kickers deserve love too.
• 20:12
Speaker 2: If you're streaming, I know a lot of people like
• 20:14
Speaker 2: you draft a kicker and you just tend to set
• 20:16
Speaker 2: it and forget it and like maybe maybe you switch
• 20:18
Speaker 2: them out like on his bye week, but like sometimes
• 20:20
Speaker 2: it can actually make a difference if you actually decide
• 20:22
Speaker 2: to play justin Tucker Young Wayku.
• 20:26
Speaker 1: Just think about that.
• 20:26
Speaker 2: I almost speak Young Way coo, And I'm like, nobody's
• 20:28
Speaker 2: streaming him because if you have him, you just have him. Ye, nobody,
• 20:31
Speaker 2: nobody's moving You're kicker exactly. It's time now for club dum.
• 20:35
Speaker 2: But these are the guys we guarantee will score you
• 20:38
Speaker 2: at least twenty five fantasy points this week. So, uh, lakwan,
• 20:41
  Speaker 2: who you got?
• 20:42
Speaker 4: There's not enough love in the fantasy streets or Rashot
• 20:45
  Speaker 4: White show.
• 20:46
Speaker 2: Why would give him a lot of love on this show?
• 20:48
  Speaker 4: I mean like he's been having a great season. He's
• 20:50
Speaker 4: the top ten running back this season with a favorable
• 20:52
Speaker 4: matchup against this Jags defense. In one area that the
• 20:55
Speaker 4: Jags have been lacking all season, or receptions to running backs,
• 20:58
Speaker 4: they're allowing the most at the position. In the top
• 21:01
Speaker 4: three running back performances versus Jacks defense this season are
• 21:04
Speaker 4: all running backs who catch passes out of the backfield CMC,
• 21:07
Speaker 4: Alvin Kamara, Joe Mixon. So he has the ability to
• 21:10
Speaker 4: be involved in the passing game and check downs from
• 21:13
Speaker 4: Baker Mayfield. He saw him make some really good plays
• 21:15
Speaker 4: and take it to the house. So I think this
• 21:17
Speaker 4: week he's putting up twenty five.
• 21:18
Speaker 2: Man, he really kind of took off when the Bucks
• 21:20
Speaker 2: stopped using him primarily as a running back and more
• 21:23
Speaker 2: as a pass catcher. There you go, because he's not
• 21:25
Speaker 2: efficient as a running back, but he's catching the football.
• 21:27
Speaker 2: You get that one extra point in there, just because
• 21:30
Speaker 2: let's go, how do you feel about PPR. This is
• 21:32
Speaker 2: the world we live in, all right. I mean I
• 21:35
Speaker 2: would call you a homer for this pick, but I
• 21:37
Speaker 2: also agree with it.
• 21:38
Speaker 3: So first, Rashad White, you better bring out your best
• 21:42
Speaker 3: shirt to Club SUD because Lakwan he brought it.
• 21:44
  Speaker 2: Brought it.
• 21:45
Speaker 3: Stefan Diggs. Call me a homer all you want. Stefan
• 21:48
Speaker 3: Diggs has not been playing like Stefan Diggs as of late.
• 21:51
Speaker 3: In his last five games, just one big game. The
• 21:54
Speaker 3: thing is, those four down games were all teams that
• 21:57
Speaker 3: are in the bottom twelve and fantasy points allowed to
• 21:59
Speaker 3: run to wide receivers. Last week, they didn't have to
• 22:02
Speaker 3: throw the ball at all. Now he gets the Chargers.
• 22:05
Speaker 3: Who are they've allowed? They're in the top four in
• 22:08
Speaker 3: most yards, touchdowns, and fantasy points allowed to wide receivers.
• 22:11
Speaker 3: Last week. My logic was, Hey, I'm starting Devonte Adams
• 22:15
Speaker 3: because if he gives me a bad performance in a
• 22:16
Speaker 3: great matchup, I can live with it. And it's exactly
• 22:19
Speaker 3: how I feel about Stefan Diggs. But I think the
• 22:21
Speaker 3: Bills are gonna make a conscious approach to get their
• 22:24
  Speaker 3: top option going.
• 22:24
Speaker 2: I definitely do. I think they're gonna get him very
• 22:26
Speaker 2: much involved. I know you said you're worried about Gabe Davis.
• 22:29
Speaker 1: I get it. I think he gets involved too. I
• 22:30
Speaker 1: just think if you have a Bills pass.
• 22:32
Speaker 2: Catcher this week, good weeks to get him in the
• 22:34
Speaker 2: lineup against the Chargers. For me, sitting in the corner
• 22:37
Speaker 2: clubs side with a bottle of champagne wearing a crown
• 22:40
Speaker 2: like Biggie, it's gonna be Dereck Henry. Ooh right, the
• 22:43
Speaker 2: King is still the King. I know last week was
• 22:45
Speaker 2: not a good week for him, right, the twenty touches
• 22:47
Speaker 2: just ten yards. Look, this week he's facing a bad
• 22:51
Speaker 2: run defense. The Seahawks not good against the run. Why
• 22:54
Speaker 2: would they be? They're birds. So I think Ken Harry
• 22:56
Speaker 2: gets it done on the ground. Volume has never been
• 22:58
Speaker 2: the issue for him this season. Now he has a
• 23:01
Speaker 2: really good matchup as well. I don't know how many
• 23:04
Speaker 2: more times when we got a couple more games of him,
• 23:06
Speaker 2: likely in a Titans uniform. I think this week he
• 23:09
Speaker 2: gives us one of those vintage Derrick Henry performances that
• 23:12
Speaker 2: reminds us why he's been so good in this league
• 23:15
Speaker 2: and why he's been such a fantasy star for a
• 23:17
  Speaker 2: long time.
• 23:18
Speaker 1: Uh So, I think we can kind of lock that
• 23:20
Speaker 1: up this week and get him to the club side.
• 23:21
Speaker 2: They just popping bottles. Man, there you go. You know
• 23:25
Speaker 2: he's gonna gift you. Uh tell your friends with my friends,
• 23:29
Speaker 2: we can be friends.
• 23:29
Speaker 5: It'll be a whole thing. I got a gift for you, guys.
• 23:37
Speaker 5: I want to thank you guys for always you know,
• 23:40
Speaker 5: looking out for me.
• 23:40
Speaker 2: Involved. Wow, come bearing gifts for.
• 23:45
  Speaker 3: Ida.
• 23:47
Speaker 2: We open this now. Okay, okay, let's uh oh snap
• 23:52
Speaker 2: your little carnage funko pop. See. Anybody who knows me
• 23:55
  Speaker 2: knows I'm a I'm a Spider Man fanatic. So the
• 23:56
Speaker 2: carnage funko pop. I'm all about this. Life got some
• 24:00
Speaker 2: This is amazing. This is a Mac Miller comic book.
• 24:03
Speaker 2: Oh my god, I know this is going on. It's
• 24:08
Speaker 2: the self care video in that's amazing. Thank you so much.
• 24:15
  Speaker 3: I am this.
• 24:17
Speaker 2: Which is a good time for us to maybe shut
• 24:18
Speaker 2: this thing down before I get all emotional here. Thank
• 24:21
Speaker 2: you to all of you who've been watching this all
• 24:24
Speaker 2: season long. I know we're not done yet, but it's
• 24:25
Speaker 2: the end of the year. Uh so I want to
• 24:27
Speaker 2: say thank you to all of you. We want to
• 24:29
Speaker 2: say I wish you best of luck in your fantasy playoffs,
• 24:32
Speaker 2: and have a merry Christmas as well. That'll do this
• 24:35
Speaker 2: edition of the Stardom Centum Show. For Lakwan Jones, for
• 24:37
Speaker 2: Michael F. Floya, for all the specialists out there, I'm
• 24:40
Speaker 2: Marcus Grant. Thanks for checking us out. Enjoy the weekend everybody,
• 24:43
Speaker 2: and we'll talk to you again real soon. Sud
