- 0:49Speaker 2: I just watched a fascinating player today, Eli Heidenreich from Navy.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Have you heard of him?
- 0:55Speaker 1: Yeah? Isn't he a like a flex weapon type like
- 0:59Speaker 1: wide receiver.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Running He had seventy seven rushes and fifty one catches
- 1:04Speaker 2: for eighteen point zero point five yards per reception in
- 1:08Speaker 2: that Navy kind of you know whatever they call that
- 1:10Speaker 2: offense that they run right right.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Yeah, Yeah, he might if he's not a drafted.
- 1:17Speaker 2: It'll be a priority free agent for somebody, oh for sure.
- 1:20Speaker 2: And he was at the combine, so, I mean they
- 1:21Speaker 2: thought that he could play in the league and he can,
- 1:24Speaker 2: you know, in he can be used in interesting ways.
- 1:27Speaker 2: I think he's a really fascinating player.
- 1:30Speaker 3: I'm doing well, my friends, So I'm sadly reserved to
- 1:34Speaker 3: the right that the Eagles are probably not going to
- 1:35Speaker 3: address safety till day three. So Michael Taff from Texas
- 1:39Speaker 3: and Cole was Nuski from Texas Tech, I want to see,
- 1:42Speaker 3: have you got in your eyes on them?
- 1:43Speaker 2: Taff is, you know, obviously more well known because of Texas.
- 1:47Speaker 2: You know, he's one of those guys. And I'm just
- 1:50Speaker 2: being honest. Sometimes I watch safeties and you have to
- 1:53Speaker 2: watch a lot of games, and obviously I did with
- 1:54Speaker 2: Texas because they have other players, obviously on defense. So
- 1:58Speaker 2: I saw a lot of Texas's defense, and I just
- 2:02Speaker 2: don't see Taff like showing up a lot like I mean,
- 2:04Speaker 2: I you know, I kept watching and watching, and I'm
- 2:06Speaker 2: trying to figure out, you know, what he what he
- 2:08Speaker 2: would be in the league, you know what I mean.
- 2:11Speaker 2: So I just didn't. I didn't. I don't know, maybe
- 2:14Speaker 2: I'll be wrong, you know, because he's supposed to be
- 2:16Speaker 2: a great young man and all that good stuff. But
- 2:19Speaker 2: I just didn't quite get it. Whereas there was Newski kid.
- 2:22Speaker 2: He showed up. You know, he's aggressive, you know, he
- 2:26Speaker 2: plays downhill. I kind of liked him, and he was
- 2:28Speaker 2: not invited to the combine.
- 2:31Speaker 4: I know you watched on Dre Bernard, but I was wondering,
- 2:34Speaker 4: did you happen to get a look at his teammate,
- 2:36Speaker 4: the sophomore of Ryan Williams.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Well, I saw him and obviously it's a big name
- 2:41Speaker 2: going back to his freshman year. Yeah, he he really
- 2:45Speaker 2: struggled to catch the ball this year, routine catches. He's
- 2:48Speaker 2: just had a hard time.
- 2:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I was wondering if it was I was wondering
- 2:52Speaker 4: if that was part of the scheme, because because he
- 2:54Speaker 4: seemed to do better when he had jalm Monrose, I
- 2:57Speaker 4: was wondering that was because of the transition from Monroe
- 2:59Speaker 4: to Simpson and the scheme change, or was this the
- 3:02Speaker 4: fact that you know, he just took a step back
- 3:04Speaker 4: kind of all together.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Just to be honest, when the ball is thrown right
- 3:08Speaker 2: to you, when you drop it, it's not a function
- 3:09Speaker 2: in the quarterback. I mean, he just didn't catch the
- 3:12Speaker 2: ball this year very well. You know, Now, I've been
- 3:15Speaker 2: with coaches who believe that you can teach guys how
- 3:18Speaker 2: to catch a football with hand placement. Now, I didn't
- 3:21Speaker 2: study Williams because he wasn't coming out, so I can't
- 3:24Speaker 2: speak to him specifically. You know, obviously he's going to
- 3:27Speaker 2: be a junior. He decided to stay at Alabama, so
- 3:30Speaker 2: if he has a great year, he'll probably come out
- 3:32Speaker 2: because he's obviously an explosive athlete. So I'm sure I'll
- 3:35Speaker 2: be studying him. I might be. I might take a
- 3:37Speaker 2: look at him this summer because I would assume he'll
- 3:40Speaker 2: come out barring anything unforeseen.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Okay, and then so then and then as far as
- 3:45Speaker 4: other of our receivers. So apparently someone in the media
- 3:49Speaker 4: is very high on Denzel Boston and I don't know why.
- 3:52Speaker 4: So I was just wondering what you saw from him
- 3:54Speaker 4: on tape.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Boston is six three and five days to twelve. He's
- 4:00Speaker 2: you wouldn't call him explosive. He's smooth, He catches everything.
- 4:05Speaker 2: There's a physical dimension to his game. The big question
- 4:08Speaker 2: with the receivers like Boston, just like it was with
- 4:11Speaker 2: Drake London when he came out of USC and to
- 4:15Speaker 2: some degree Ted McMillan, who proved better. And I like
- 4:17Speaker 2: Teed McMillan far more than Drake London is whether these
- 4:21Speaker 2: guys can win one on one on the outside against
- 4:24Speaker 2: quality NFL man coverage because London can't. And therefore London
- 4:29Speaker 2: is an inside receiver. Now he's very, very good at
- 4:32Speaker 2: that and we'll catch a lot of balls. But the
- 4:35Speaker 2: question with Boston, and it's a little bit of an
- 4:37Speaker 2: unknown to me anyway. I'm obviously I don't work for
- 4:40Speaker 2: a team. I'm not working him out in person, so
- 4:42Speaker 2: I'm not seeing things team see. But the main question
- 4:46Speaker 2: with Boston is can he win one on one? In
- 4:50Speaker 2: other words, can he line up at boundary X? Can
- 4:52Speaker 2: he line up there?
- 4:53Speaker 1: So I kind of just have this random question.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Is there a guy who you watched this year whose
- 4:59Speaker 3: tape you really like that's just not being talked about.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I really like the Florida corner Devin Moore, who's over
- 5:06Speaker 2: six to three. Yeah, he's I don't see his name
- 5:09Speaker 2: at all, and again to me, and he's not going
- 5:14Speaker 2: to be drafted there so please understand that. But to me,
- 5:17Speaker 2: this guy has first round talent. He's over six three,
- 5:21Speaker 2: he's two hundred pounds. He didn't run great, you know,
- 5:25Speaker 2: he's not a burner, but he's a really good player,
- 5:28Speaker 2: and he's really long, he's athletic, he's smooth. I know
- 5:32Speaker 2: he's had injuries throughout his career, and maybe that's one reason.
- 5:35Speaker 2: But I really like Devin Moore from Florida. I really
- 5:38Speaker 2: liked him. You know. I really liked too, Jeff, because
- 5:41Speaker 2: I finally got to watch Penn States defense. Oh God,
- 5:44Speaker 2: I like I like the Key Wheatley a lot.
- 5:46Speaker 5: Hey, Philly fans, game day is stressful enough. Parking traffic,
- 5:51Speaker 5: long lines, We've all been there, But when it comes
- 5:53Speaker 5: to your cannabis, Camden Apothecary makes it easy. This is
- 5:58Speaker 5: the dispensary sports fans, just minutes outside of Philly, with
- 6:02Speaker 5: plenty of free parking.

- 6:08Speaker 5: about convenience. Cam din Apothecary is all about the guest experience.

- 6:31Speaker 5: They even show love to the community with specials for fans, students,
- 6:36Speaker 5: service members, and healthcare pros. Cam din Apothecary, top quality cannabis,
- 6:41Speaker 5: great prices, and an experience made for Philly fans twenty
- 6:45Speaker 5: one and up.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Sure, And you know, Greg, I'll make this one easy
- 6:48Speaker 3: because I think Jeff and Adam they did a great job.
- 6:50Speaker 3: They did a mock draft and I was able to
- 6:52Speaker 3: listen to it, and they do. They give you such
- 6:54Speaker 3: great detail and it was a great debate that they had,
- 6:56Speaker 3: And this is possible with Eagles. It could come down
- 6:58Speaker 3: to Ahnachore from Arizona State and Procter from Alabama. The
- 7:03Speaker 3: only thing I was thinking, like, Okay, let's just say
- 7:05Speaker 3: the Eagles are comfortable with Procter sliding over to the
- 7:08Speaker 3: right side. I think he could play guard. Do you
- 7:11Speaker 3: think Proctor has legit guardability if he is able to
- 7:15Speaker 3: kick inside?
- 7:16Speaker 2: And that's a hard question because he hasn't played guard exactly.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Proctor is a fascinating study, Frank, because when he does
- 7:24Speaker 2: it right, he could well be the best offensive tackle
- 7:28Speaker 2: in this draft class. He's so big, and I mean
- 7:32Speaker 2: I watched a number of games obviously, and you know
- 7:36Speaker 2: I watch a lot of them. When I watched the
- 7:39Speaker 2: Tennessee game. He was so good. I don't think he
- 7:41Speaker 2: had a bad snap in the game. It was unbelievable.
- 7:44Speaker 2: It was like a clinic because when he does it right,
- 7:46Speaker 2: because he happens to have light feet for a very
- 7:49Speaker 2: big man. So there's and he has anchor strength and
- 7:52Speaker 2: pass pro versus speed to power. He's got grip strength,
- 7:55Speaker 2: he's got a strong lower half. When he kicks slides
- 7:58Speaker 2: and does it right, he just I mean, and he looks.
- 8:01Speaker 2: He looks exactly the right way it's supposed to be.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Now he doesn't do that all the time. You know,
- 8:07Speaker 2: when when people use words like he's inconsistent, I try
- 8:11Speaker 2: to understand why a guy's inconsistent, you know, because it's
- 8:14Speaker 2: easy to say a guy's inconsistent. But BOYD, does he
- 8:17Speaker 2: look good playing left tackle. Now, that doesn't mean he
- 8:20Speaker 2: can't go inside and play guard. I mean, obviously Beckedon,
- 8:23Speaker 2: you know, went inside and played guard and had a
- 8:25Speaker 2: good year for the Eagles a couple of years ago.
- 8:29Speaker 2: You know, the kid from Arizona State is a really
- 8:32Speaker 2: interesting player because he hasn't played a lot of football,
- 8:35Speaker 2: and you know, he's a really good athlete. You know,
- 8:40Speaker 2: you try to think two three years down the road.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Those are hard questions to answer because then now you're
- 8:44Speaker 2: talking about coaching and how they're coached, and you know
- 8:48Speaker 2: that's that's something we don't know. But you know, the
- 8:51Speaker 2: Arizona State kid I like a lot too, but Proctor.
- 8:54Speaker 2: You know, Proctor's only played left tackle. The other kids
- 8:57Speaker 2: only played right tackle.
- 8:59Speaker 4: I saw Lewis mentioning, I'm guessing someone he's kind of
- 9:03Speaker 4: high on h Jeff Calwell.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Yeah, no, receiver from Cincinnati. I've done him. He's intriguing
- 9:10Speaker 2: to people because he's sixty five and three eights two
- 9:12Speaker 2: sixteen and he ran a four to three one forty
- 9:14Speaker 2: at the combine vertical was forty two inches. I mean everything.
- 9:18Speaker 2: His athletic testing was off the charts. So he's got rare,
- 9:23Speaker 2: rare size, speed profile. So you look at a guy
- 9:27Speaker 2: like that and a coach will think that there's so
- 9:29Speaker 2: much more to unlock with coaching, with more reps, more experience.
- 9:34Speaker 2: You know, he plays like a finesse receiver despite his
- 9:37Speaker 2: his size. It's almost like he has to learn really
- 9:41Speaker 2: how to play receiver. He's he'll he'll enter the NFL
- 9:43Speaker 2: as a work in progress as far as route running,
- 9:46Speaker 2: he has a tendency to give away his break points
- 9:48Speaker 2: by slowing his body and leaning with his upper half.
- 9:51Speaker 2: There's a lot of nuance in detail that he doesn't
- 9:53Speaker 2: really know how to do. But when you're six five
- 9:56Speaker 2: and three eights and can run a four to three one,
- 9:58Speaker 2: somebody's gonna draft you.
- 10:00Speaker 4: I remember you, guys mentioning, we'll talking about Danny Dennis.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Is it?
- 10:04Speaker 4: Is it Danny Dennison or Danny Dennis.
- 10:09Speaker 2: You're talking about the Penn State guy. Yeah, I mean,
- 10:13Speaker 2: I'll be quite honest with you. For me, he was
- 10:15Speaker 2: kind of a tough watch. Oh death right there. He's
- 10:22Speaker 2: his game is power. It has to be power because
- 10:25Speaker 2: he's not a very good athlete. He's not really a
- 10:29Speaker 2: true pass rusher yet eight point five sacks this year,
- 10:31Speaker 2: only two of them were real pass rushers, where he
- 10:33Speaker 2: actually one, you know, beat a guy. The others are
- 10:36Speaker 2: just secondary plays, which is nothing wrong with that, but
- 10:39Speaker 2: that's not the way you evaluate a pass rusher. He's
- 10:43Speaker 2: got a really master hand usage if he's going to
- 10:46Speaker 2: have any chance to have any kind of meaningful pass
- 10:49Speaker 2: rush at the NFL level. I kind of saw him
- 10:52Speaker 2: as a rotational four three d.
- 10:54Speaker 4: End Now that like, you know, the draft is happening
- 10:56Speaker 4: this week, and you know you've watched all the tapes,
- 10:58Speaker 4: what is what do you do next?
- 11:00Speaker 2: What I basically do next is I'll start, I'll go
- 11:05Speaker 2: I'll move away from college players because I'm you know
- 11:08Speaker 2: that I need to change how you know, how it
- 11:11Speaker 2: because when I watch NFL and college it's a whole
- 11:13Speaker 2: different mindset. So what I'll do, because I can't do
- 11:16Speaker 2: this during the season, Eddie, is I'll pick teams, you know,
- 11:22Speaker 2: like let's say the Seahawks defense is then I can
- 11:25Speaker 2: watch like six games in a row. You know, I
- 11:28Speaker 2: do stuff like that, So you know, I'll take you know,
- 11:31Speaker 2: I'll take like the Bears offense with Ben Johnson and
- 11:34Speaker 2: watch six games in a row so I can really
- 11:37Speaker 2: dig deep into concepts and schematics because during the season,
- 11:41Speaker 2: I can't watch six games in a row because during
- 11:43Speaker 2: the season, I've got to try to get through as
- 11:45Speaker 2: many games during the week as i can for my
- 11:49Speaker 2: matchup show number one, and then for other stuff I do,
- 11:52Speaker 2: you know with radio and you know podcasts and you know,
- 11:54Speaker 2: so when you watch games in a row, you see
- 11:57Speaker 2: it totally differently.
- 11:58Speaker 1: So you.
- 11:59Speaker 5: Also, I don't know when you started, but I know
- 12:01Speaker 5: that you go through third downs for quarterbacks around the
- 12:05Speaker 5: NFL at some point, right a lot.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll do that. I'll do that, not for every
- 12:08Speaker 2: single quarterback, but I'll no no, I yeah, yeah, Okay.
- 12:12Speaker 3: My dream scenario Thursday is that somehow the Eagles.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Get Kenyon City.
- 12:16Speaker 3: I know it's not going to happen, but I'm just
- 12:17Speaker 3: going to keep my fingers crossed and pray it happens.
- 12:20Speaker 3: So then the situation becomes, who is the quote unquote
- 12:23Speaker 3: like ball of clay tackle that they feel they can
- 12:26Speaker 3: get in you know, day two, maybe even day three,
- 12:29Speaker 3: that they feel they can turn into a player now
- 12:32Speaker 3: offensive Yes, So I look up and I go, okay,
- 12:35Speaker 3: how about Travis Burke from Memphis.
- 12:38Speaker 2: I watched him today for the first time. It's funny
- 12:40Speaker 2: you mentioned him, and I actually David Dial was the
- 12:42Speaker 2: O line coach there, and I texted him and he's
- 12:45Speaker 2: going to get back to me tomorrow. He was the
- 12:48Speaker 2: on line coach at Memphis, So I know David very well,
- 12:52Speaker 2: so he'll give me all the skinny. But from what
- 12:54Speaker 2: I saw so far, I see a really big man.
- 12:58Speaker 2: He's over six a. He's a little stiff, Frank, he's
- 13:02Speaker 2: a little tight in his hips. But I could see
- 13:05Speaker 2: that he's been coached well because he knows how to
- 13:07Speaker 2: use his hands, and that's a big deal. He was
- 13:10Speaker 2: very proactive with his hands. He knew where to place them,
- 13:13Speaker 2: and Burke really understood that. I'm gonna watch more of him,
- 13:17Speaker 2: probably tomorrow, because I was kind of fascinated by him.
