- 0:00Speaker 1: You just heard the news. Now you'll find out what
- 0:03Speaker 1: it all means. He smarts amone on seven to ten.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Wo Well, it's big developments happening with the mayor of
- 0:19Speaker 2: Mom Donnie. Mayor elect Mom Donnie, with Donald Trump, Will
- 0:23Speaker 2: with Epstein. We'll get to all of that coming up.
- 0:26Speaker 2: It's hard to believe Thanksgiving is next week, a week
- 0:30Speaker 2: from tomorrow. It's Thanksgiving. Unbelievable because you walk down the hall.
- 0:34Speaker 2: You can tell because there's a Thanksgiving buffet down there
- 0:37Speaker 2: by Elvis Durant Studio, by Jim Kurr Studio, there's a
- 0:40Speaker 2: whole Christmas buffet and we have to It's tons and tons.
- 0:46Speaker 2: It goes on for miles these buffets, and everybody's eating
- 0:50Speaker 2: like crazy because we have to finish this be for
- 0:53Speaker 2: today's lunch buffet, which begins in the two hours. That's all.
- 0:59Speaker 2: And then then we do this all day long with
- 1:01Speaker 2: these buffets in front of every studio up and down
- 1:03Speaker 2: the hall. It's all bufface. And then we do features
- 1:05Speaker 2: on why an obesity problem. So we got a lot
- 1:10Speaker 2: to get to. Let's start with the great news Mayor
- 1:13Speaker 2: elect Mom Donnie. You know you're gonna have to get
- 1:17Speaker 2: used to saying mayor Mom Donnie. But he's agreed to
- 1:22Speaker 2: and Jessica Tish's agreed to stay. She will be the
- 1:25Speaker 2: police commissioner under Mom Donnie. That's reassuring to a lot
- 1:29Speaker 2: of people. They've had a series of meetings. They had
- 1:33Speaker 2: phone calls over the weekend, which is a good sign.
- 1:37Speaker 2: If you have all these meetings in person and then
- 1:39Speaker 2: it turns into phone calls, it means you've done the
- 1:41Speaker 2: hard stuff. You got that out of the way, and
- 1:43Speaker 2: the phone calls he usually just follow up. So she
- 1:46Speaker 2: will stay on as the police commissioner. Now she made
- 1:50Speaker 2: some agreements with him. She's not gonna just stay on,
- 1:55Speaker 2: you know, good faith, You're gonna have to. He's gonna
- 1:56Speaker 2: have to actually agree to stuff. So he's agreed to
- 1:59Speaker 2: basically leave her alone. This is a key thing. He's
- 2:01Speaker 2: got these crazy programs with his social workers taken over
- 2:06Speaker 2: instead of police. They've made an agreement that the police
- 2:09Speaker 2: department will stay the police department. She will run that.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Whatever silly stuff he wants to do with the social workers,
- 2:17Speaker 2: that'll be separate. It'll be a department of Community safety
- 2:21Speaker 2: that he will run. They will focus with the social
- 2:24Speaker 2: workers on the homeless and mentally ill. They'll just deal
- 2:29Speaker 2: with that. They'll leave the police department alone. The police
- 2:31Speaker 2: department will deal with actual crime. That's one agreement they've made.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I don't know all the others, but they've agreed on
- 2:37Speaker 2: a lot of stuff. So she will stay. That's very important.
- 2:42Speaker 2: It's very very good news. Jessica Tish will stay on. Now,
- 2:47Speaker 2: some people say, well, we don't know, it might just
- 2:49Speaker 2: be a couple of months. You might just stay and
- 2:52Speaker 2: then leaving three I don't think so, you know, she's
- 2:56Speaker 2: not going to do that. She would either stay or leave.
- 2:58Speaker 2: If she's staying, it's because they read on the right stuff.
- 3:01Speaker 2: She's got good, solid agreements with him. If she's staying,
- 3:03Speaker 2: it's going to be for a while. It'll be Remember,
- 3:07Speaker 2: police commissioners generally serve a very long time, you know.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Not everybody's Ray Kelly. He was the greatest police commissioner
- 3:15Speaker 2: in history. So that was like, I think, eighteen years.
- 3:17Speaker 2: But he's Babe Ruth. That's not normal. But normally a
- 3:20Speaker 2: police commissioner, a good police commissioner stays a few years.
- 3:24Speaker 2: It's not one year, it's a number of years, four years,
- 3:27Speaker 2: three years, four years, five years, something like that. It
- 3:30Speaker 2: was only under Eric Adams we had the police Commissioner
- 3:33Speaker 2: of the month. How many do we have under Adams?
- 3:36Speaker 2: I mean, I don't think those Jeopardy guys could even
- 3:38Speaker 2: get that name. All the Eric Adams police commissioners. It's
- 3:40Speaker 2: not easy. Let me think he shot suwell m Who
- 3:46Speaker 2: is the McDermott Dermot Dermott Shay. That's another one. O'Neill.
- 3:52Speaker 2: What was O'Neill's first name, James O'Neill. That's three. Oh,
- 3:58Speaker 2: Eddie Caban that's four. Who is the guy that was
- 4:02Speaker 2: there briefly? Very nice guy was his name? Donnelly? He
- 4:05Speaker 2: was just there temporarily. He came in for a few months,
- 4:07Speaker 2: but a very good guy. Donnelle. That's five. And Jessica Tish.
- 4:12Speaker 2: That's six, six police commissioners in four years. It's embarrassing,
- 4:17Speaker 2: it's awful. So I think if she's agreed to stay,
- 4:20Speaker 2: it's gonna be for a while. Now. That's the most
- 4:23Speaker 2: important thing about mom. Donnie whatever nonsense, crazy stuff he
- 4:27Speaker 2: wants to do. Fine, But as long as the streets
- 4:29Speaker 2: are safe, that kind of fixes everything. Safe streets you
- 4:34Speaker 2: pretty much help every situation. If the streets are safe,
- 4:38Speaker 2: businesses flourish, if the streets are safe, tourists keep coming here.
- 4:43Speaker 2: That's very important for our economy. So he's Jessica Tish
- 4:47Speaker 2: will stay. That's important. Outside of that, he's gonna have
- 4:52Speaker 2: all these all the crazy people he's appointed, they're all
- 4:54Speaker 2: from the Deblasio administration, the same exact deputy mayors, first
- 4:58Speaker 2: deputy mayor. They're all from the Blasio administration. So you'll
- 5:01Speaker 2: basically get a repeat of that. It wasn't bad, and
- 5:08Speaker 2: we got through it. We got through eight years of that.
- 5:10Speaker 2: We'll get through four years of Mom Donnie. It might
- 5:12Speaker 2: only be one year. You know, you're going to get
- 5:14Speaker 2: a new governor, probably a year from now, and that
- 5:16Speaker 2: governor can remove the mayor. They have the power to
- 5:18Speaker 2: remove the mayor. It's happened before FDR removed Jimmy Walker
- 5:23Speaker 2: the mayor. So that's good news. Now. The only bad
- 5:29Speaker 2: part of this Tish thing, Mam Donnie does not want
- 5:34Speaker 2: Ice coming in here arresting illegals, and many of these
- 5:36Speaker 2: illegals are the worst criminals, So you want him arrested
- 5:40Speaker 2: and taken out here. Jessica Tish may have agreed with
- 5:43Speaker 2: him not to cooperate with ice. That's I don't know,
- 5:46Speaker 2: but that's the only problem. Hocal apparently is recruited a
- 5:53Speaker 2: number of big Wall Street exec top Wall Street names,
- 5:56Speaker 2: big business guys, people that know Trump, and she's put
- 5:59Speaker 2: the together of this group. She wants them to go
- 6:01Speaker 2: to Donald Trump and convince him to not send the
- 6:05Speaker 2: National Guardian to protect people. Now, if Jessica Tish is
- 6:09Speaker 2: here and doing a good job, there'd be no reason
- 6:11Speaker 2: to send the National Guardian. But if there is a problem,
- 6:14Speaker 2: of course she'd want him to send the National guard
- 6:16Speaker 2: Why would you turn away anything that's going to give
- 6:18Speaker 2: you a public safety Why would you turn away any
- 6:20Speaker 2: law enforcement, public safety anything. And also bear in mind,
- 6:25Speaker 2: you remember a few years ago when there was the
- 6:27Speaker 2: crime was getting out of control. What did Kathy Hokeel do.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Nobody remembers this. She sent the National guard in. Remember
- 6:33Speaker 2: she put him in all the subways. So she sent
- 6:36Speaker 2: the National Guarden. She thought it was a good thing
- 6:37Speaker 2: to do. But that's the hypocrisy. Democrats are famous for
- 6:42Speaker 2: President Trump meeting with the Saudi Prince yesterday. Saudi leaders,
- 6:47Speaker 2: a lot of people didn't like this. You know, you
- 6:52Speaker 2: don't want to have two cozy relationship between a president
- 6:55Speaker 2: and the Saudis, and it looked like reporters were asking
- 6:59Speaker 2: about the Trump organization has all kinds of business interests
- 7:02Speaker 2: in Saudi Arabia. They're building hotels and apartments and this
- 7:06Speaker 2: looks pretty sleazy, but he pointed out they've been doing
- 7:09Speaker 2: that anyway, long before he was president. They were building
- 7:12Speaker 2: over there, and they're building all over the world. In fact,
- 7:15Speaker 2: the amount of building they're doing in Saudi Arabia is
- 7:17Speaker 2: a lot less than they're doing in Europe or anywhere else. Hey,
- 7:20Speaker 2: the greatest moment was Trump and this ABC reporter. You know,
- 7:25Speaker 2: it's funny. ABC News. ABC the network attacks Trump twenty
- 7:30Speaker 2: four to seven for ten years. They call them every
- 7:32Speaker 2: name in the world. They insult them with everything he'm
- 7:35Speaker 2: insult them with. All they do is attack and insult
- 7:38Speaker 2: Donald Trump twenty four to seven for ten years without
- 7:41Speaker 2: it never stops. If he insults him once, it's an
- 7:45Speaker 2: international incident all of a sudden, ABC News is the
- 7:48Speaker 2: worst thing that's ever happened. But this is yesterday. They
- 7:50Speaker 2: got the Saudi crown prints. They're in the Oval Office.
- 7:53Speaker 2: They've made some agreements to help the US, to help
- 7:56Speaker 2: our businesses and a lot of big business leaders have
- 8:00Speaker 2: flown in, Tim Cook of Apple, all these big tech
- 8:03Speaker 2: guys everything. They're all there. Elon Musk came back to
- 8:05Speaker 2: the White House for this. It's very important, and they're
- 8:10Speaker 2: trying to talk about what they're going to do together
- 8:13Speaker 2: and hopefully they make some kind of an agreement over
- 8:15Speaker 2: protecting Israel and all of that. So it's all good stuff.
- 8:19Speaker 2: But the ABC reporter can't stop. She's asking about remember
- 8:23Speaker 2: the guy that was killed, Koshogi, and she's asking about Epstein.
- 8:27Speaker 2: This is in the middle of this positive thing. So
- 8:29Speaker 2: Trump gets mad, but this is great. He really tells
- 8:32Speaker 2: her off. I love listening to this. Take a listen.
- 8:36Speaker 3: That will fight it out for Congress to release the
- 8:38Speaker 3: Epstein files. Why not just do it now? Now.
- 8:41Speaker 4: It's not the question that I mind. It's your attitude.
- 8:45Speaker 4: I think you are a terrible reporter. It's the way
- 8:48Speaker 4: you ask these questions.
- 8:50Speaker 3: You start off with.
- 8:51Speaker 4: A man who's highly respected asking him a horrible, insubordinate
- 8:56Speaker 4: and just a terrible question. And you could even ask
- 9:00Speaker 4: that same exact question nicely.
- 9:03Speaker 3: You're all psyched.
- 9:04Speaker 4: Somebody psyches you over at ABC. You're gonna psych it.
- 9:10Speaker 4: You're a terrible person and a terrible reporter. As far
- 9:14Speaker 4: as the Epstein Files is, I have nothing to do
- 9:17Speaker 4: with Jeffrey Epstein. I threw him out of my club
- 9:19Speaker 4: many years ago because I thought he was a sick pervert.
- 9:22Speaker 4: But I guess that would turn out to be right.
- 9:25Speaker 4: But you know who does have Bill Clinton? Larry Somemmers,
- 9:29Speaker 4: who ran Harvard, was with him every single night, every
- 9:32Speaker 4: single weekend.
- 9:33Speaker 3: They lived together. They went to his island many times.
- 9:35Speaker 3: I never did.
- 9:39Speaker 4: Andrew Weissman here. All these guys were friends of his.
- 9:42Speaker 4: You don't even talk about those people. You just keep
- 9:46Speaker 4: going on the Epstein files. And what the Epstein is
- 9:49Speaker 4: is a Democrat hoax to try and get me not
- 9:52Speaker 4: to be able to talk about the twenty one trillion
- 9:54Speaker 4: dollars that I talked about today.
- 9:56Speaker 3: It's a hoax. Now.
- 9:57Speaker 4: I just got a little report and I put it
- 9:59Speaker 4: in my pocket. Of all the money that he's given
- 10:02Speaker 4: to Democrats, he gave me none, zero, no money to me,
- 10:08Speaker 4: but he gave money to democrats.
- 10:10Speaker 3: And people are wise to your hoax.
- 10:12Speaker 4: And ABC's your company, your crappy company is one of
- 10:16Speaker 4: the perpetrators.
- 10:17Speaker 3: And I'll tell you something. I'll tell you something.
- 10:21Speaker 4: I think the license should be taken away from ABC
- 10:24Speaker 4: because your news is so fake and is so wrong,
- 10:28Speaker 4: And we have a great commissioner, the chairman, who should
- 10:32Speaker 4: look at that, because I think when you come in
- 10:35Speaker 4: and when you're ninety seven percent negative to Trump and
- 10:38Speaker 4: then Trump wins the election in a landslide, that means
- 10:41Speaker 4: obviously your news is not credible and you're not credible
- 10:45Speaker 4: as a reporter.
- 10:45Speaker 3: So I've answered your question.
- 10:47Speaker 4: You should go and look at the Democrats who received
- 10:50Speaker 4: money from Epstein.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Who spent their time.
- 10:53Speaker 4: Larry Summers was with them all the time, That creep
- 10:58Speaker 4: of the guy was with him all the time.
- 11:02Speaker 3: What's his name? Read Hoffman.
- 11:05Speaker 4: I don't know read Hoffman, but I know he spends
- 11:07Speaker 4: a lot of money on the radical left.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Read Hoffman, in my opinion, should be under investigation. He's
- 11:13Speaker 3: a sleevesbag and those are the people, but they don't
- 11:17Speaker 3: get any.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Press, they don't get any news, And you're not after
- 11:20Speaker 4: the radical left because you're a.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Radical left network. But I think the way.
- 11:24Speaker 4: You ask a question, with the anger and the meanness
- 11:27Speaker 4: is terrible. You ought to go back and learn how
- 11:29Speaker 4: to be a reporter.
- 11:30Speaker 2: No more so that's pretty good. But let's break that down. Now,
- 11:33Speaker 2: he threatens the licenses of ABC. You're not supposed to
- 11:36Speaker 2: do that. But if they are broadcasting false information and
- 11:41Speaker 2: distorting the news, and they have been caught doing that,
- 11:43Speaker 2: remember the George Stephanoppolis false accusations, and the ABC had
- 11:47Speaker 2: to pay Trump fifteen million quietly and not so quietly
- 11:51Speaker 2: to settle it. So you're not supposed to threaten their license,
- 11:53Speaker 2: but if they are distorting the news, you are supposed
- 11:56Speaker 2: to take the license away. And let's read how Hoffman
- 12:00Speaker 2: is an interesting guy. This guy Reid Hoffman, this techzillionaire.
- 12:03Speaker 2: He funds a lot of stuff. He funded the Egen
- 12:06Speaker 2: Carroll lawsuit against Trump, which will nobody believes that most
- 12:12Speaker 2: people think is just total hoax, But he funded that.
- 12:15Speaker 2: God are all the best lawyers. But it's a good question,
- 12:20Speaker 2: he brings up, if he has nothing to do with
- 12:22Speaker 2: Epstein for twenty years, he hasn't the twenty one years,
- 12:25Speaker 2: he has nothing to do with Epstein, no kind ofction.
- 12:27Speaker 2: A million years ago, in two thousand and four, he
- 12:30Speaker 2: found out about Epstein, and the young girls threw him
- 12:33Speaker 2: out of mar A Lago, banned him from the Club.
- 12:35Speaker 2: There's a million witnesses to this, people that work there,
- 12:37Speaker 2: people that were members there, So everybody knew about it
- 12:40Speaker 2: back then. I knew about it because he's one of
- 12:43Speaker 2: the people that warned me years ago, twenty years ago,
- 12:45Speaker 2: stay the hell away from Epstein, bad guy. Except for
- 12:48Speaker 2: twenty one years he stayed away from him while Democrats
- 12:51Speaker 2: got closer and closer and closer to Epstein. And he's right,
- 12:55Speaker 2: why aren't they, Why aren't they outside of Bill Clinton's
- 12:57Speaker 2: house demanding some answers? Or Larry Summer? He was the
- 13:01Speaker 2: former Treasury secretary to Obama Clinton. He was an advisor
- 13:08Speaker 2: and economic advisor to Joe Biden during this recent presidency,
- 13:12Speaker 2: and president of Harvard. Now, why aren't they? Why aren't
- 13:15Speaker 2: they bothering Larry Summers and making them explain this? Now,
- 13:18Speaker 2: Summers put out statements saying he's ashamed of his close
- 13:21Speaker 2: relationship with Epstein, and apparently Summer's cheating on his wife
- 13:26Speaker 2: like crazy and using Epstein as his dating coach. You
- 13:30Speaker 2: can see it in the emails and texts. He's now
- 13:33Speaker 2: resigned from every board he's on, He's resigned from everything,
- 13:36Speaker 2: still works for Harvard, but and it turns out that
- 13:40Speaker 2: Epstein over these last twenty years has been a major
- 13:42Speaker 2: Democratic donor. Hasn't given a penny to Trump, But major
- 13:47Speaker 2: Democratic donor. If they hate this guy so much, why
- 13:49Speaker 2: are they taking his money? Why are they letting him
- 13:51Speaker 2: from their campaigns? It's a very good question, you know,
- 13:57Speaker 2: when these files come out. First of all, there's not
- 13:59Speaker 2: that much in the fire. The Epstein files don't have
- 14:02Speaker 2: all the juicy stuff in him. The juicy stuff is
- 14:04Speaker 2: in the texts and emails, and those are coming from
- 14:07Speaker 2: the Epstein estate. But Trump asked some good questions, why
- 14:12Speaker 2: why aren't they going after these people? And this current
- 14:15Speaker 2: Democratic congresswoman what's her name? Plasket? Stacey Plaskett very close
- 14:21Speaker 2: to Epstein, and while she's in the hearings grilling Michael Cohen,
- 14:26Speaker 2: she's texting back and forth with Epstein during the hearings
- 14:29Speaker 2: to get his advice on what to say next and
- 14:32Speaker 2: what So, how come reporters never bother her? Somebody did
- 14:38Speaker 2: ask the Stacey Plasket Well, oh no, it was Caitlin Collins.
- 14:44Speaker 2: She was on CNN. So she said to Hakim Jeffries,
- 14:47Speaker 2: how come you're not mad at Stacey Plaskett for being
- 14:49Speaker 2: so close to Epstein. They're texting back and forth during
- 14:53Speaker 2: the hearings on Trump, and Epstein says, well, she has
- 14:58Speaker 2: not violated any law. Okay, it's not illegal, but it's
- 15:03Speaker 2: certainly inappropriate. It's not illegal to go to Epstein's house
- 15:06Speaker 2: and hang out with him, but it's totally inappropriate. You know,
- 15:10Speaker 2: George Stephanoppolis having dinner with Epstein at his house, Katie
- 15:14Speaker 2: Couric having dinner with Epstein at his house. Why aren't
- 15:17Speaker 2: more people asking them about all this? Trump has nothing
- 15:20Speaker 2: to do with Epstein. I love Good Day in New York.
- 15:23Speaker 2: It's a great shows on Channel five every morning. And
- 15:25Speaker 2: they got this political guy that does the political pieces.
- 15:28Speaker 2: His name is Robert Moses. He's a cute guy. I
- 15:31Speaker 2: like him, but he's the most slanted partisan. So when
- 15:35Speaker 2: Trump said he had nothing to do with Epstein, I
- 15:37Speaker 2: have nothing.
- 15:38Speaker 4: To do with Jeffrey Epstein. I threw him out of
- 15:40Speaker 4: my club many years ago because I thought he was
- 15:42Speaker 4: a sick pervert.
- 15:44Speaker 3: But I guess I would turn out to be right.
- 15:46Speaker 2: So when Robert Moses does the story with this clip,
- 15:48Speaker 2: he actually said President Trump tried to claim that he
- 15:52Speaker 2: had nothing to do with Epstein about biased language. He
- 15:55Speaker 2: tried to claim he did. This is all well known
- 16:00Speaker 2: to people. Again, there are a million witnesses to but
- 16:03Speaker 2: they never tell you this part of it. He tried
- 16:06Speaker 2: to claim, you could easily find a dozen witnesses right
- 16:12Speaker 2: now that know about how this did happen twenty one
- 16:14Speaker 2: years ago. I threw him the hell out of mar Alago,
- 16:17Speaker 2: never spoke to him again. Anyway. We'll get back to Epstein,
- 16:20Speaker 2: We'll get back to Mom, Donnie. Lots more to get to.
- 16:23Speaker 2: We'll get to Hochel and more coming up. We'll take
- 16:27Speaker 2: some calls next. Eight hundred three to two one zero
- 16:30Speaker 2: seven ten is the number, eight hundred three two one
- 16:33Speaker 2: zero seven ten.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Yeah, more marximone on sevent ten to that.
- 16:40Speaker 2: I guess I have to just accept that it's the
- 16:43Speaker 2: holiday season. I like to think it's still the end
- 16:46Speaker 2: of summer. It's still early fall. I guess I have
- 16:49Speaker 2: to accept it's Thanksgiving. It's Christmas season out in the hall,
- 16:54Speaker 2: this Christmas trees, this Christmas music, got a Christmas buffet.
- 16:57Speaker 2: I just have to accept it.
- 16:58Speaker 5: I know.
- 16:59Speaker 6: I know.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Let's go to take some calls. Let's go to Mike
- 17:02Speaker 2: and Florida. Mike, how you doing, good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike.
- 17:07Speaker 7: That SoundBite you played from the press conference is really
- 17:12Speaker 7: underscores the problem that Trump has not only with the media,
- 17:15Speaker 7: but with the Republican Party, who just cower every time
- 17:19Speaker 7: they have a chance to get somebody's you know, wats
- 17:22Speaker 7: and advice, they fall back on, well, it's not technically illegal,
- 17:27Speaker 7: so they won't censure that congress woman who's texting with
- 17:29Speaker 7: Epstein during the during the hearings, you know, because it
- 17:33Speaker 7: wasn't technically illegal. And meanwhile they then they fall back on, well,
- 17:38Speaker 7: Trump should release everything. But you know, if Trump releases
- 17:41Speaker 7: all this Epstein stuff, they'll drag him in front of
- 17:43Speaker 7: the court and they say he jeopardized the lives of
- 17:46Speaker 7: the accused and the and the victims, and then that
- 17:51Speaker 7: will become a UNO watch show.
- 17:52Speaker 5: Yeah, it's calling.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Well, a bigger problem is once he releases everything, they'll
- 17:57Speaker 2: claim it's not everything. And you may I've seen these
- 18:01Speaker 2: Jeffrey Eckstein victims. It's about a dozen women holding this
- 18:05Speaker 2: press conference. The Democratic consultants have got a hold of
- 18:08Speaker 2: these women staging these press conferences where they go on
- 18:12Speaker 2: and on and on. But you'll notice there's a dozen victims.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Not one of them, not one of them has ever
- 18:18Speaker 2: seen Donald Trump or mentioned Donald Trump or That's the
- 18:21Speaker 2: problem with this Epstein stuff. It's going to implicate some Democrats.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Larry Summers has already had his public life destroyed by
- 18:28Speaker 2: the handful of texts and emails that came out. Wait
- 18:31Speaker 2: till it all comes out, You're going to see a
- 18:32Speaker 2: lot of major Democrats, their donors, their cabinet, a lot
- 18:37Speaker 2: of these people are going to be ruined when this
- 18:40Speaker 2: stuff comes out. Let's go to Lou and Queen's Lou.
- 18:43Speaker 5: How you doing, hey, Mark, you said it, be careful
- 18:48Speaker 5: about opening up Pandora's box. That's what this is going
- 18:51Speaker 5: to turn into. But I wanted to draw your attention
- 18:55Speaker 5: to a fascinating story in the Internal.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Well, we'll be the judge of that. If it's in
- 18:59Speaker 2: the Wall Street Journal, how fascinating can it be. That's
- 19:02Speaker 2: usually that thing. That paper has news from like three
- 19:05Speaker 2: weeks ago all the time.
- 19:07Speaker 5: Well, this is old news. It's about during the Shah
- 19:09Speaker 5: of Iran. I didn't know it. The Israelis and the
- 19:12Speaker 5: Iranians were working together to put together their whole water system,
- 19:18Speaker 5: you know, their water supply and everything else and it
- 19:21Speaker 5: was working perfectly. That of course, the Iatola came to power,
- 19:26Speaker 5: the Iranian engineers along with the Israelis, all went to Israel.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Yeah, they're having a big water crisis in Iran. In fact,
- 19:33Speaker 2: it's so bad they to believe they may have to
- 19:38Speaker 2: evacuate Iran. They've already moved people into concentrated areas where
- 19:42Speaker 2: they'd still have some water. But there's a tremendous water
- 19:45Speaker 2: shortage occurring in Iran. I said, this is what I
- 19:49Speaker 2: mean about the Wall Street Journal. This is this story
- 19:51Speaker 2: from two weeks ago. That's just in there. Now, let's
- 19:54Speaker 2: go to Rob in Franklin Square. Rob, how you doing.
- 19:57Speaker 8: Hi, Good morning Markia. You know, I don't think it
- 19:59Speaker 8: was a good quot for the President to have that
- 20:01Speaker 8: press conference with with the Crown Prince, with the because uh,
- 20:05Speaker 8: you know, you know, with this couple of building and
- 20:07Speaker 8: the death of Koshalgi, he should have known that that
- 20:10Speaker 8: they were gonna he was gonna be asked questions about him.
- 20:14Speaker 8: You know, maybe he's been better off not having uh
- 20:16Speaker 8: you know.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Well that's taken the easy way. In the smart way,
- 20:19Speaker 2: he never does that. He likes to whatever the toughest
- 20:22Speaker 2: way to do it is that's the way he always
- 20:23Speaker 2: likes to do it. Yeah, yeah, no, he never hides
- 20:27Speaker 2: from anything or anybody. Probably, you know, if you get
- 20:31Speaker 2: somebody who's out of line like that, you should probably
- 20:33Speaker 2: just ban them for two weeks, put them in the
- 20:34Speaker 2: penalty box, like no ABC News allowed in the White
- 20:38Speaker 2: House for two weeks.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Just try that.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Maybe they'll learn how to behave a little better. Let's
- 20:42Speaker 2: go to Joe in Long Island.
- 20:43Speaker 7: Joe, how you doing, Hey, Mark, You're the best as always.
- 20:47Speaker 9: Just two quick things. I think I've heard that Trump
- 20:50Speaker 9: was actually an FBI in forman.
- 20:52Speaker 5: In two thousand and nine against Epstein.
- 20:54Speaker 2: And no, no, no, no, not true. Not true. Yeah no.
- 20:59Speaker 7: And then but hetually did give them some information.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Not true. You saw that on some website, right, not true, Okay,
- 21:07Speaker 2: not true. The FBI of two thousand and nine. That
- 21:11Speaker 2: was call mean company and not big Trump fans. Yeah. Now,
- 21:13Speaker 2: Trump broke up with him twenty one years ago, had
- 21:16Speaker 2: nothing to do with him since. But he was very
- 21:19Speaker 2: close to Democrats. Now he was. I didn't know him
- 21:22Speaker 2: that well. I don't know what his politics were, but
- 21:23Speaker 2: he was in the middle of the Upper East Side
- 21:25Speaker 2: of Manhattan and the circles he traveled in. It was
- 21:29Speaker 2: mostly Democrats in those circles. Had there been more Republicans around, well,
- 21:33Speaker 2: maybe he would have known more Republicans. But you know,
- 21:35Speaker 2: when you're trying to immerse yourself in the world of
- 21:39Speaker 2: politics in New York City, you're gonna end up knowing
- 21:41Speaker 2: a lot more Democrats than Republicans. Hey, when we come back,
- 21:45Speaker 2: I want to talk to this guy. He's an assemblyman
- 21:48Speaker 2: from New York actually from Oyster Bay. Jake Blumenkrantz. He
- 21:52Speaker 2: served with Mom Donnie in the Assembly. He's a Republican,
- 21:55Speaker 2: but you know, he can give us some insight into
- 21:57Speaker 2: Mam Donnie and maybe he can explain to it what
- 22:00Speaker 2: the hell's going on with this socialism and Mom Donnie.
- 22:02Speaker 2: This could be interesting. We'll get to this next on
- 22:05Speaker 2: seven to ten WR.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Marximo on sevent tenor.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Hey, Jake blumen Krantz, very popular assemblyman State Assembly. He's
- 22:16Speaker 2: from Oyster Bay. You might have seen a lot of
- 22:19Speaker 2: him on television and everywhere lately. Served with Mom Donnie.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Can give us some insight into that whole phenomenon. And
- 22:25Speaker 2: he's with us right now. Jake blumin Krantz. How you
- 22:28Speaker 2: doing good?
- 22:29Speaker 10: Thank you for having me on.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Hey. Also, you're a young guy. How old are you?
- 22:34Speaker 10: I am twenty nine.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Twenty nine and you're in the State Assembly. Mam Donnie
- 22:38Speaker 2: is thirty four. We're seeing more and more of this.
- 22:40Speaker 2: What is this new phenomenon of all these very young
- 22:42Speaker 2: public servants.
- 22:44Speaker 10: Look, I think when you see issues go unaddressed by
- 22:47Speaker 10: establishment candidates on either side of the aisles, as a
- 22:50Speaker 10: young person, you got to step in and you got
- 22:52Speaker 10: to say this isn't right. We have solutions, we have answers,
- 22:56Speaker 10: and in reality, my answers and may Or elect mondomni'sancays
- 23:01Speaker 10: are different. But I think that the sentiment that things
- 23:03Speaker 10: need to change is the same.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Yeah, but we're used to these Sheldon Silver, Chuck Schumer,
- 23:08Speaker 2: old men with the glasses all flogged up kind of
- 23:11Speaker 2: people in the government. But it's good to see. Hey,
- 23:16Speaker 2: tell us about Mandannie. You served with Mam Donni. What
- 23:20Speaker 2: did you think of him back then? I do.
- 23:22Speaker 10: He's been an assemblyment with me since I started. Interesting character.
- 23:26Speaker 10: I think what I'd say to anyone who asked me
- 23:28Speaker 10: that question is he means what he says, and he
- 23:30Speaker 10: says what he means. He's an ideological guy and he
- 23:33Speaker 10: believes a lot of the rhetoric that he espouses. Isn't
- 23:35Speaker 10: unfortunate as a Jewish legislator to see someone like him
- 23:39Speaker 10: rise so prominently, because he introduced legislation like not on
- 23:43Speaker 10: My Dime, which would effectively empower the AG's office to
- 23:47Speaker 10: hurt Jewish charities and not for profits for supporting Israel,
- 23:52Speaker 10: among many other very dangerous pieces of legislation. Yeah, in
- 23:56Speaker 10: a new place of power, we're gonna have to see
- 23:58Speaker 10: what you're gonna do.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Well, you were two young guys. They're up in all
- 24:00Speaker 2: butany in the Assembly. Did you have any a lot
- 24:02Speaker 2: of personal interaction with him.
- 24:04Speaker 10: Yeah, we did interact quite a bit, and I'd say
- 24:07Speaker 10: he's a very cordial person. But at the end of
- 24:09Speaker 10: the day, my concern with him is his policy proposals
- 24:13Speaker 10: and his incorrect solutions to the correct problems. We do
- 24:17Speaker 10: have a problem with affordability, but I don't think the free, free,
- 24:21Speaker 10: free parade is one that is either effective or going
- 24:24Speaker 10: to solve the problems he.
- 24:25Speaker 5: Hopes to solve.
- 24:26Speaker 2: You might get some naive voters, but Mom, Donnie, as
- 24:30Speaker 2: bad as he is, seems like a very high IQ
- 24:33Speaker 2: sort of a guy. Why wouldn't a guy like that
- 24:34Speaker 2: know the history of socialism and its failures.
- 24:38Speaker 10: Well, he might be not necessarily looking at its failures,
- 24:41Speaker 10: but populism at large is what is a play in
- 24:45Speaker 10: his campaign. He's telling people what they want to hear.
- 24:47Speaker 10: They want to hear that your rent will go down.
- 24:49Speaker 10: They want to hear that groceries are too expensive. I
- 24:51Speaker 10: think he's tapping into the affordability message in a way
- 24:53Speaker 10: that people appreciate. My problem with it is, you're.
- 24:56Speaker 9: Right, he is not paying attention to the rest of.
- 24:58Speaker 10: The history of socialism. It's very easy to win O
- 25:01Speaker 10: for voters when you have a message like that, but
- 25:03Speaker 10: it's very hard to govern.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Yeah, Jake Blumenkrantz, you're an assemblyman. You're a Republican up
- 25:09Speaker 2: there in Albany in the Assembly with very few Republicans
- 25:11Speaker 2: up there. How does it feel? How tough is it
- 25:14Speaker 2: being a Republican in that legislature.
- 25:17Speaker 10: It's always an uphill battle because they have a supermajority,
- 25:20Speaker 10: a veto proof supermajority right now, and at the end
- 25:23Speaker 10: of the day, even if the governor doesn't feel compelled
- 25:26Speaker 10: to pass many of his agenda points. If he manages
- 25:28Speaker 10: to convince enough of our colleagues in the Assembly and
- 25:30Speaker 10: Senate to do what he wants to do, her hands
- 25:32Speaker 10: will be tied and that'll be a big question for
- 25:34Speaker 10: her as she runs for reelection this year.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, but this socialism, this mom, Donnie, it's not
- 25:39Speaker 2: just him, There's a bunch of them all over the country.
- 25:42Speaker 2: What is this socialism creeping into democratic politics?
- 25:46Speaker 10: So the DSA is an organization, the Democratic Socialist of
- 25:49Speaker 10: America that continues to have a pernicious effect on the
- 25:52Speaker 10: Democratic Party. They are on the rise in New York State.
- 25:56Speaker 10: In many races in the city, we don't even run
- 25:58Speaker 10: Republican candidates because there's none enough voters that and there's
- 26:01Speaker 10: not enough candidates that we have to run, which allows
- 26:04Speaker 10: them to take a hold and combat the Democrats from
- 26:07Speaker 10: the far left. And it's become a race left with
- 26:09Speaker 10: no finish line.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, let me get back to we're talking
- 26:13Speaker 2: with Assemblyman Jake blumen Krantz. You said Mandani means what
- 26:16Speaker 2: he says. Can we at least hope maybe it's he's
- 26:21Speaker 2: a lot of talk but not much action, And maybe
- 26:23Speaker 2: it won't be as bad as we think.
- 26:27Speaker 10: I think with any mayor who has as as strong
- 26:30Speaker 10: proposals as mister Mandami does, there will be questions as
- 26:34Speaker 10: to what is possible and what is impossible, and I
- 26:37Speaker 10: think that comes with participation from the state legislature. Let's
- 26:40Speaker 10: see if there are commer heads up north in Albany
- 26:42Speaker 10: than there are in the city, and that would determine
- 26:44Speaker 10: whether or not he's able to really fulfill much of
- 26:46Speaker 10: his promises or not.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Yeah, now he's appointed his first deputy mayor. It's a
- 26:50Speaker 2: guy named Dean Fulahan, who was Deblasio's first deputy mayor.
- 26:55Speaker 2: But this is problem with this full ofhand. He apparently
- 26:57Speaker 2: is very plugged in up there in Albany to the
- 26:59Speaker 2: ledge and can get things done. Did you ever have
- 27:02Speaker 2: any dealings with them?
- 27:04Speaker 10: I never, personally don't them. But I'd say that mister
- 27:06Speaker 10: Mondommie is going to play a really smart Albany game,
- 27:08Speaker 10: and that's a really dangerous thing for New Yorkers and
- 27:11Speaker 10: for many who are concerned that his policies are detrimental
- 27:14Speaker 10: to us and the problems that he hopes to solve.
- 27:16Speaker 2: All right, well, you're not exactly cheering this up, but
- 27:19Speaker 2: that's okay. We want you to be honest.
- 27:22Speaker 10: I don't mean to paint a bleak picture, but I
- 27:24Speaker 10: do think that we as Republicans, we need to win
- 27:26Speaker 10: on the battlefield of ideas with new ideas. We can't
- 27:30Speaker 10: just say no, his policies are bad. We need to
- 27:32Speaker 10: truly propose and try it and act real change for
- 27:37Speaker 10: the sake of affordability. People are struggling out there. People
- 27:40Speaker 10: can't afford their groceries. We do need to come up
- 27:42Speaker 10: with the proposals that work and fight against ones that don't.
- 27:45Speaker 10: But at the end of the day, if we don't
- 27:47Speaker 10: have new messaging and new ideas and new voices coming
- 27:50Speaker 10: into the pray, it'll be a difficult task.
- 27:52Speaker 2: But you look at this affordability crisis across America. It
- 27:55Speaker 2: seems to always be in the blue cities, and the
- 27:57Speaker 2: Democrat solutions usually lead to this crisis. So how do
- 28:02Speaker 2: you message that, How do you make that clear that
- 28:05Speaker 2: they pretty much caused You.
- 28:06Speaker 10: Have to be you have to be tactful, and you
- 28:08Speaker 10: have to realize that sometimes even in urban areas, the
- 28:12Speaker 10: logic can prevail. Mayor Bloomberg Grant as a Republican who
- 28:16Speaker 10: was a fiscal conservative who wanted to rain in some
- 28:20Speaker 10: of the spending to be a prolific builder. And we
- 28:23Speaker 10: saw that, and we saw the city in sort of
- 28:26Speaker 10: a golden age, and it's important we want to try
- 28:28Speaker 10: and focus on bringing ourselves back to those times and
- 28:31Speaker 10: bring ourselves back to the ideas of safety and affordability
- 28:35Speaker 10: as paramount.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, it tell us about serving in the Assembly.
- 28:38Speaker 2: How is that is that? Is it full time when
- 28:40Speaker 2: you're an assemblyman or is it a part time thing?
- 28:42Speaker 2: You're not there every day.
- 28:44Speaker 10: We're up there for about six months a year, and
- 28:48Speaker 10: it comes down to making sure that our budget priorities
- 28:51Speaker 10: are in place and making sure we're getting what we
- 28:53Speaker 10: need for our communities. And we work closely in a
- 28:57Speaker 10: bipartisan way to do that when we can as part
- 29:00Speaker 10: of the minority caucus. But we have we still managed
- 29:04Speaker 10: to get some great accomplishments done that.
- 29:05Speaker 2: We're just fighting the good fight, all right, Well, good stuff.
- 29:08Speaker 2: And you're an Oyster Bay right, I love Oyster Bay, great.
- 29:10Speaker 10: Town, Yes, beautiful Long Island absolutely.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, well, good luck, keep up the good fight.
- 29:15Speaker 2: You're one of the few Republicans up there in all
- 29:17Speaker 2: beneath Jake Bloom and Grantz. Thanks for being.
- 29:19Speaker 10: With us, Thank you for having me on.
- 29:22Speaker 2: All right, take care, all right, that that wasn't the
- 29:26Speaker 2: most encouraging thing. But way we want him to be honest.
- 29:29Speaker 2: You know, I keep I want to think it, mom,
- 29:33Speaker 2: Donnie's going to be like the Blasio who was bad.
- 29:35Speaker 2: But it wasn't as bad as we thought it might be.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Because remember the good thing about the Blasio. Well here's
- 29:41Speaker 2: the only difference. So the good thing about the Blasi
- 29:42Speaker 2: he just never showed up for work. Remember he would
- 29:45Speaker 2: go to the gym. He'd wake up like nine in
- 29:47Speaker 2: the morning, go to the gym till noon. Then he
- 29:49Speaker 2: went to that coffee place in Brooklyn, hang out there,
- 29:52Speaker 2: chow up in city Hall about three o'clock, take a nap,
- 29:55Speaker 2: wake up and leave and go home. It was about
- 29:57Speaker 2: his whole day. The only problem with this, mom, younger,
- 30:02Speaker 2: more energetic guy, he might actually be doing stuff all
- 30:05Speaker 2: day and night. Now. The good news is he's never
- 30:08Speaker 2: had a job in his life. He's never been an executive,
- 30:11Speaker 2: he's never been a manager, So that hopefully means he
- 30:14Speaker 2: won't know how to execute anything or get anything actually done.
- 30:19Speaker 2: The bad news is he's got all these exta Blasio
- 30:21Speaker 2: people running City Hall first Deputy mayor Dean Fulhand. These
- 30:25Speaker 2: guys actually know how to execute. So anyway, the good
- 30:29Speaker 2: news is Jessica Tish will stay as police commissioner. We're
- 30:32Speaker 2: assuming that they had a number of conversations. We're assuming
- 30:35Speaker 2: she wouldn't have agreed if this is just going to
- 30:37Speaker 2: be a couple of months, so you can probably assume
- 30:40Speaker 2: she'll be there for at least a year or two
- 30:43Speaker 2: or three. So that's the good news. Anyway, Buck and
- 30:45Speaker 2: Clay are coming up at noon. You don't want to
- 30:47Speaker 2: miss them today noon to three. And then you got
- 30:50Speaker 2: the most listened to radio show in America, Sean Hannity
- 30:53Speaker 2: at three, he got Jesse Kelly at six, and our
- 30:55Speaker 2: big news show which everybody loves. You got to listen to.
- 30:58Speaker 2: This is Jimmy Fallop Jimmy Faylum every night at nine
- 31:03Speaker 2: on seven to ten.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Wr set up re said on the iHeartRadio app to
- 31:08Speaker 1: wor to hear Mark live.
- 31:10Speaker 3: Set another for.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Mark's podcast to hear him anytime now back to Mark
- 31:15Speaker 1: Simone on WOR.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Hey know it's funny. They announced that today it's the
- 31:21Speaker 2: first gridlock alert day of the season. Gridlock Alert Day.
- 31:25Speaker 2: What was yesterday, what was the day before. It's goodlock
- 31:27Speaker 2: every day, but for some reason, gridlock alert day today.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Just bear that in mind. Hey, we'll be back in
- 31:33Speaker 2: the next hour. We got a lot to get to.
- 31:35Speaker 2: We'll get to the NFL's latest scheme, and we'll get
- 31:39Speaker 2: back to Mom Donnie, and we'll get to there's some
- 31:41Speaker 2: more Epstein stuff to delve into. We'll get to all
- 31:45Speaker 2: of that. Don't forget. I'm here every day ten to noon.
- 31:47Speaker 2: But also you could listen anytime day or night. Just
- 31:50Speaker 2: get the podcast wherever you get podcasts. Back right after
- 31:53Speaker 2: the news on seven to ten wo.
- 31:57Speaker 11: Houster, New York, Mark Simoner, Hey, well, it's a lot
- 32:09Speaker 11: going on this morning.
- 32:10Speaker 2: All the police Commissioner Jessica Tish is staying and she's
- 32:14Speaker 2: just put out a memo moments ago to the entire
- 32:18Speaker 2: department assuring them that she will have their back, that
- 32:21Speaker 2: everything will be fine under her that she and mayor
- 32:25Speaker 2: elect Mom Donnie have come to agreement on things now.
- 32:30Speaker 2: From what I hear, they've had a number of meetings,
- 32:33Speaker 2: in person meetings, then they had a bunch of phone
- 32:35Speaker 2: calls over the weekend. So apparently the deal is he
- 32:40Speaker 2: will leave the NYPD alone. She will run it. She's
- 32:43Speaker 2: not the type to run it and be micromanaged and
- 32:47Speaker 2: told what to do. That's not her. She's staying because
- 32:50Speaker 2: she's gotten the assurance she'll be able to run the department. Now,
- 32:54Speaker 2: Mom Donnie, what about all his crazy nonsense about the
- 32:57Speaker 2: social workers doing this and that. Apparently he's agreed to
- 33:01Speaker 2: do that separately from the NYPD. The NYPD will be
- 33:05Speaker 2: the police department, and he will have his Department of
- 33:09Speaker 2: Community Safety, and that's where all the social workers will go,
- 33:13Speaker 2: and then they'll deal with homeless or mentally ill or
- 33:16Speaker 2: those kind of things. So I don't think that, well,
- 33:23Speaker 2: I know that she wouldn't do this unless she had
- 33:25Speaker 2: some assurance should be left alone and for a good
- 33:27Speaker 2: deal of time. So I don't think this is a
- 33:29Speaker 2: deal where she's going to have a problem three months
- 33:32Speaker 2: and quit. And I don't think mom Donnie would want
- 33:37Speaker 2: to risk her quitting a couple of months into his
- 33:40Speaker 2: first year if he wants her to stay. He knows
- 33:45Speaker 2: the problem with the problem with her. People like her.
- 33:48Speaker 2: It's very respected and seems to be a woman, a
- 33:53Speaker 2: real principle, So if there was a problem, something bad,
- 33:57Speaker 2: she'd quit she doesn't need the job. She would quit,
- 34:01Speaker 2: go public and say I can't you know, I'm leaving
- 34:03Speaker 2: because of this and this, and it'd be a great
- 34:04Speaker 2: embarrassment to the mayor. I know she's threatened Adams with
- 34:07Speaker 2: that a few times when he tried to interfere, and
- 34:11Speaker 2: she's good at threatening him. You know, I'll leave and
- 34:12Speaker 2: I'll hold the press comings though, And she was right
- 34:14Speaker 2: to do it. She was, you know, fighting for the
- 34:16Speaker 2: right stuff for the NYPD. So if I know that mom,
- 34:21Speaker 2: Donnie knows that that she's good at that kind of leverage,
- 34:24Speaker 2: and he's not going to want that kind of embarrassment
- 34:26Speaker 2: in his first year. So obviously I've come to a good,
- 34:30Speaker 2: strong agreement on this. She will stay. That's very good news.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Excellent news. Now they both agree on keeping Ice out.
- 34:41Speaker 2: She doesn't want Ice in there. You know. Ice basically
- 34:46Speaker 2: what they do is they come in and they take
- 34:47Speaker 2: away the worst criminals of all I mean, you could
- 34:49Speaker 2: try to argue that not everybody to grab is the worst.
- 34:52Speaker 2: Well that's true of any police department. And you know,
- 34:55Speaker 2: if you arrest twelve thousand people last year, maybe six
- 34:58Speaker 2: you shouldn't have arrested going to happen. You can't help that.
- 35:02Speaker 2: Tom Holman has let Mom Donnie know if he needs
- 35:05Speaker 2: to come in. He's coming in.
- 35:06Speaker 12: The Mayor of New York City wants to come in
- 35:08Speaker 12: and talk about making the streets safer. Open up for discussion.
- 35:12Speaker 12: I'm wanting to meet with anybody. President Trump's willing to
- 35:14Speaker 12: meet with anybody, but let's get together and work it together.
- 35:17Speaker 12: We much rather work with these sanctuary cities than keep,
- 35:20Speaker 12: you know, putting our agents at extreme risk going out
- 35:23Speaker 12: in the community and wrestling public safety trip and they
- 35:25Speaker 12: could arrested them in the safety and security of a jail.
- 35:28Speaker 12: So we walk home in any conversation. But they if
- 35:30Speaker 12: they don't want assist, they want to keep, you know,
- 35:32Speaker 12: pushing back and impeding our efforts, then we're going to
- 35:36Speaker 12: just send more teams there.
- 35:37Speaker 2: We're going to play his own. Yeah. Home's always been
- 35:40Speaker 2: right about let's do it in Rikers Island, in that
- 35:43Speaker 2: prison where it's safe and you're not going to hurt
- 35:45Speaker 2: any innocent vice. Then let's do the arrest in there.
- 35:48Speaker 2: You know, Ice for a long time had an office
- 35:51Speaker 2: in Rikers Islands. He wants to go back to that
- 35:55Speaker 2: hit more of homeans so.
- 35:56Speaker 12: We're going to be coming to New York City. We're
- 35:57Speaker 12: already there now, I mean teams are there now. But
- 35:59Speaker 12: we were in wreac the enforcement President in New York
- 36:01Speaker 12: City again because there's a sanctuary city and we know
- 36:03Speaker 12: we have an issue. There are public state to try
- 36:05Speaker 12: to sit in the street every day.
- 36:06Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, important thing to remember is if there's a
- 36:08Speaker 2: dispute about what ICE can do in New York and
- 36:10Speaker 2: you can't arrest this, well, believe it or not, federal
- 36:13Speaker 2: law supersedes local law. So Holman has the law on
- 36:17Speaker 2: his side. The courts would have to uphold that. Hey,
- 36:22Speaker 2: last night at the White House they had this What
- 36:25Speaker 2: a dinner they had, and it was Saudi Day all
- 36:27Speaker 2: day with the Saudi leaders, the Crown Princess and that.
- 36:30Speaker 2: And by the way, today is the Saudi Economic Forum.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Apparently it's very importless and there's zillions of dollars coming
- 36:40Speaker 2: in and out of that part of the world, and
- 36:41Speaker 2: every business leader wants in on that. So it's a
- 36:44Speaker 2: big economic forum. It's at the Kennedy Center. They're using
- 36:47Speaker 2: the Kennedy Center and President Trump will go there and
- 36:50Speaker 2: address this group. Last night, that was quite a state dinner.
- 36:55Speaker 2: They had. If you look at the main table with
- 36:58Speaker 2: the Saudi leaders there, it's Trump Ump, it's Elon Musk,
- 37:02Speaker 2: it's Bill Gates, close buddy of Jeffrey Epstein. It's Bill Gates,
- 37:08Speaker 2: it's Mark Zuckerberg and Tim Cook of Apple, and they're
- 37:14Speaker 2: all these guys are all praising Trump. Thank you for
- 37:17Speaker 2: inviting us, Thank you for the wonderful dinner. What an
- 37:19Speaker 2: honor to know you, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg, Tim Cook.
- 37:24Speaker 2: Let me wait a minute, I lost it. Let me
- 37:26Speaker 2: see now I lost the video. But it's very interesting
- 37:29Speaker 2: with these guys Bill Gates with us. Well, thank you,
- 37:31Speaker 2: mister President for including me. Such an honor to be
- 37:34Speaker 2: here with you. And Mark Zuckerberg, thank you so much
- 37:38Speaker 2: for having me. I just love being here with you.
- 37:41Speaker 2: These the guys that censored Donald Trump just two years ago,
- 37:44Speaker 2: banned him from their from their platforms. Tim Cook said,
- 37:50Speaker 2: an honor to be included. So this of course driving
- 37:53Speaker 2: the left nuts. Now, Bill Gates, you should see these
- 37:58Speaker 2: texts and emails with Bill Gates. It's an Epstein. Apparently
- 38:01Speaker 2: it's a Bill Gates top assistant who's trying to negotiate.
- 38:06Speaker 2: Apparently Bill Gates was at Epstein's house all the time.
- 38:11Speaker 2: All the time. We'll we'll get back to it, but
- 38:15Speaker 2: all the time he was there at Epstein's house. Now,
- 38:18Speaker 2: when you ask him, a couple of reporters said, well,
- 38:21Speaker 2: what were you doing at Epstein's house for five hours
- 38:25Speaker 2: every night? Well, I was meeting with him about donations
- 38:31Speaker 2: form my charity. Now, first of all, why would a
- 38:35Speaker 2: guy with two hundred and fifty billion dollars meet with
- 38:41Speaker 2: a guy with forty million to get money from If
- 38:44Speaker 2: you got two hundred and fifty billion and this guy's
- 38:47Speaker 2: there for this guy's worth forty million, you really don't
- 38:51Speaker 2: need to meet with him for any money. The other
- 38:53Speaker 2: thing is if it's for raising money for a charity.
- 38:55Speaker 2: You know, I'm on the board of a lot of charities,
- 38:57Speaker 2: so I've been there for these meetings where you meet
- 39:00Speaker 2: with the billionaire or the zillionaire trying to get money
- 39:02Speaker 2: from him. These meetings are usually a half hour. Sometimes
- 39:07Speaker 2: there's been cases where they'll go to an hour. I've
- 39:10Speaker 2: never seen a five hour meeting for that. There's no
- 39:12Speaker 2: such thing as a five hour meeting for that. And
- 39:15Speaker 2: the other thing is these meetings take place during the day.
- 39:18Speaker 2: Usually you go to the guy's office. A lot of
- 39:21Speaker 2: times you get to his office, he says, let's go
- 39:23Speaker 2: in the conference room, and you sit there for an
- 39:26Speaker 2: hour in the middle of the day, and then you
- 39:27Speaker 2: go home and he goes back to work. It's never
- 39:31Speaker 2: at his house at night for five hours. There's never
- 39:34Speaker 2: been a meeting over raising money for a charity at
- 39:36Speaker 2: somebody's house for five hours. It's absolutely ridiculous. It's insane
- 39:45Speaker 2: to even try to claim that. But if you read
- 39:47Speaker 2: these emails from Bill Gates's top assistant and Epstein's trying
- 39:51Speaker 2: to get him back. She keeps saying, it's it's Bill
- 39:54Speaker 2: Gates's wife. He won't she won't let him come back
- 39:56Speaker 2: to your house. And Bill Gates, the wife is for
- 39:59Speaker 2: bid him to talk to you. So you can be
- 40:01Speaker 2: sure the wife knew what was going on. The wife
- 40:03Speaker 2: knows him a lot better than we do, so she
- 40:06Speaker 2: knew what was going on and put her foot down.
- 40:07Speaker 2: Don't ever go to his house again. So Bill Gates
- 40:10Speaker 2: is going to have a big problem. Larry Summers the big,
- 40:13Speaker 2: big senior Democrat. He was the Treasury Secretary of Bill Clinton.
- 40:18Speaker 2: He was the advisor to Obama. In fact, recently in
- 40:20Speaker 2: the Biden administration. He was an advisor to Biden. Larry
- 40:24Speaker 2: Summers has had to quit every board he's on. He
- 40:26Speaker 2: quit open AI today, he quit all the boards. He
- 40:30Speaker 2: resigned from everything in public. Now he said, I'll keep
- 40:34Speaker 2: my Harvard stuff. I'm a Harvard professor. I'll continue. Harvard
- 40:38Speaker 2: just announced an hour ago they're opening an investigation into
- 40:43Speaker 2: Larry Summers. Oh what do you need to investigate? We
- 40:46Speaker 2: know just read the text, read the emails. We know
- 40:48Speaker 2: what was going on with him in Epstein. There it is.
- 40:52Speaker 2: We also got to wonder how bright is this Larry
- 40:54Speaker 2: Summers if he puts all this in writing. If you're
- 40:57Speaker 2: going to discuss women and philandering and have Epstein be
- 41:03Speaker 2: your dating coach when you're married, call him on the phone,
- 41:07Speaker 2: do it over the four why did you put in writings?
- 41:09Speaker 2: Just insane? So he's got a problem. He's basically canceled. Now.
- 41:15Speaker 2: Bill Gates doesn't really work anywhere for anybody, I mean Microsoft,
- 41:19Speaker 2: But he's stepped down from any active role, so you
- 41:22Speaker 2: can't really cancel him. But you're going to have others
- 41:26Speaker 2: when these files are released. Now they're demanding the files
- 41:29Speaker 2: be released within thirty days. But the ruling is they
- 41:34Speaker 2: want them searchable and downloadable. That's going to take time
- 41:39Speaker 2: to do that. It shows you how lazy they are.
- 41:42Speaker 2: It has to be searchable. We're not going to read
- 41:43Speaker 2: the whole thing. We basically these files aren't going to
- 41:46Speaker 2: show much of anything. The juicy stuff is not in
- 41:48Speaker 2: the files. It's in the text, the emails, and those
- 41:52Speaker 2: are all coming from the Epstein estate that had access
- 41:56Speaker 2: to his phone, his emails, all that stuff. The files
- 41:59Speaker 2: are most from the New York FBI office because back
- 42:04Speaker 2: then that's where the investigation was conducted, the New York
- 42:06Speaker 2: FBI office, and then with the Glene Maxwell and Jeffrey
- 42:10Speaker 2: Epstein US Attorney's office, so that's where the Southern District
- 42:14Speaker 2: US Attorney's office Southern District, So that's where the files
- 42:17Speaker 2: are coming from. And they're basically pretty you know, you know,
- 42:21Speaker 2: cold law enforcement sort of investigation files. So the juicy stuff,
- 42:26Speaker 2: the dialogue is not in those files. As far as victims,
- 42:33Speaker 2: all the victims, there's one thing in common. They don't
- 42:36Speaker 2: claim Donald Trump ever did anything to them. Nothing. Now,
- 42:40Speaker 2: the lead victim is Virginia jeuf Frey. Virginia Giufrey was
- 42:45Speaker 2: the number one victim she wrote a book, and she
- 42:47Speaker 2: made it clear Donald Trump was not involved in anything bad.
- 42:51Speaker 2: In fact, she said he was always a gentleman and
- 42:53Speaker 2: very friendly to her. She had a co author on
- 42:56Speaker 2: the book. The co author who worked with her and
- 43:00Speaker 2: got her a whole story for the book spoke to CBS.
- 43:04Speaker 2: Now here's the problem. The whole thing backfired on CBS.
- 43:07Speaker 2: They tried to ask her what about Donald Trump. Well,
- 43:10Speaker 2: they didn't like the answer.
- 43:12Speaker 13: She gave, and she felt validated by it.
- 43:16Speaker 2: Wait a minute, I.
- 43:17Speaker 13: Never talked about him in any sense that he was
- 43:19Speaker 13: involved in any of this. No, No, he was not,
- 43:25Speaker 13: as far as she knew. And again, she was there
- 43:27Speaker 13: for two plus years. But as far as she knew,
- 43:30Speaker 13: he was not involved in the ring of trafficking that
- 43:36Speaker 13: Epstein was working.
- 43:38Speaker 2: Now that's bad. CBS does not like that answer. Here's more.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Listen to this part about you.
- 43:43Speaker 13: Mentioned President Trump at all in your discussion.
- 43:46Speaker 5: Oh, she absolutely did.
- 43:47Speaker 13: I was in Australia in October, a month before, weeks
- 43:53Speaker 13: before the presidential election.
- 43:56Speaker 3: She was a huge Trump fan.
- 43:58Speaker 9: Two reasons for that.
- 44:00Speaker 13: One, she had met Trump on numerous occasions because she
- 44:04Speaker 13: worked at mar Laga Spa in Florida, which he owns,
- 44:08Speaker 13: and her father also worked there and knew Trump pretty well,
- 44:12Speaker 13: so she was introduced to Trump. He was kind to her.
- 44:16Speaker 13: The second reason she wanted Trump to be president was
- 44:19Speaker 13: because he campaigned on releasing the Epstein files and she
- 44:25Speaker 13: was excited.
- 44:25Speaker 2: If you're watching the video, the CBS reporter looks very
- 44:28Speaker 2: upset where she says she does not like the part
- 44:31Speaker 2: where she says Trump was very kind and a nice man.
- 44:34Speaker 2: Quit a minute, let me stop this now. The other
- 44:38Speaker 2: thing is you're going to hear this a lot, especially
- 44:40Speaker 2: from these right wing crazies, that they keep saying Trump
- 44:44Speaker 2: campaigned on releasing the Epstein files. That's absolutely not true.
- 44:49Speaker 2: He never campaigned ever on releasing the Epstein files. If
- 44:53Speaker 2: you go check the whole campaign, every speech, every major speech,
- 44:58Speaker 2: he never mentions the Epstein files. The only time it
- 45:01Speaker 2: came up during the campaign he was on Fox and
- 45:03Speaker 2: Friends one day and they brought it up, and they said,
- 45:06Speaker 2: are you would you release the Epstein files And he said, yeah,
- 45:09Speaker 2: i'd before releasing him. But he never campaigned on it.
- 45:12Speaker 2: It's never ever, ever in the campaign, never in a
- 45:15Speaker 2: Trump speech. So that's important to remember. Uh, what else, Hey,
- 45:19Speaker 2: the NFL. I know the owners love this. Roger Goodell
- 45:24Speaker 2: and I can't stand this Roger Goodell. He's always up
- 45:29Speaker 2: to something weird. Now here's his latest obsession. Apparently obsessed.
- 45:34Speaker 2: They're going to bring back these supersonic flights. You remember
- 45:37Speaker 2: the Concord and all that speed of sound. Supersonic. They're
- 45:44Speaker 2: bringing those back. I hated that Concord. It was a
- 45:46Speaker 2: horrible plane. It was so small and tight. They had
- 45:48Speaker 2: to make it really small and it got you there faster,
- 45:51Speaker 2: but it was so uncomfortable. The seats were smaller, it
- 45:54Speaker 2: was like riding in coach. It was just a terrible,
- 45:57Speaker 2: terrible flight. But they're bringing that back. So it'll be
- 46:00Speaker 2: you'll be able to get to Europe in three hours,
- 46:01Speaker 2: four hours. It'll be like flying to la So apparently
- 46:04Speaker 2: the NFL is obsessed with this. They think, since it'll
- 46:07Speaker 2: be so easy and fast to get to Europe, that
- 46:10Speaker 2: they should have a whole bunch of franchises in Europe.
- 46:12Speaker 2: They want why do they want to have more teams?
- 46:15Speaker 2: I guess money reasons. There's a lot of money in it.
- 46:17Speaker 2: But you got too many teams already. You don't need
- 46:20Speaker 2: all these teams. There's too many nfls. So now they
- 46:23Speaker 2: want to have all these teams, and it's going to
- 46:24Speaker 2: just screw up the whole feel of the NFL. You know,
- 46:28Speaker 2: it's one thing when when it's Tampa versus Chicago, when
- 46:32Speaker 2: it's Pittsburgh versus New York, it's one thing. But when
- 46:35Speaker 2: it's Milan versus Venice versus. We don't need these European teams.
- 46:41Speaker 2: But you can't talk Roger Goodell on anything. Forget about it.
- 46:45Speaker 2: It's not gonna not gonna work. Hey, if you want,
- 46:48Speaker 2: I'm gonna give you some. This is great diet advice,
- 46:51Speaker 2: by the way. Start watching the cooking videos. Whatever you like,
- 46:55Speaker 2: whatever you eat too much of, go watch the cooking video.
- 47:00Speaker 2: You take a good one, you know, Jacques pa Pan
- 47:02Speaker 2: or Gordon Rams you anything great cookie can when you
- 47:05Speaker 2: see how it's made, it'll help stop you from eating it.
- 47:09Speaker 2: You know, like even like a steak in a restaurant.
- 47:14Speaker 2: You know you make steak at home. You say, she's
- 47:16Speaker 2: not as good as in the restaurant. When I go
- 47:18Speaker 2: to a steakhouse. Somehow it's better. Well, watch the videos
- 47:22Speaker 2: when they make it. Because you put a little salt
- 47:24Speaker 2: on the top, they cover the whole top with salt.
- 47:27Speaker 2: There's covered with salt. It's like a cup of salt
- 47:30Speaker 2: on that thing, which is not good for you. And
- 47:33Speaker 2: then you might put a little butter in there. Watch
- 47:35Speaker 2: what they throw, like a whole stick of butter in there.
- 47:37Speaker 2: They baste it in butter. They keep cooking it butter.
- 47:40Speaker 2: So if you like whatever, just even a little piece
- 47:43Speaker 2: of cake, go watch the video where they make the cake.
- 47:45Speaker 2: You won't believe how much butter is in there. Watch
- 47:48Speaker 2: how much cream and butter and the stuff. They watch
- 47:51Speaker 2: them just pour the sugar in there. To watch those videos,
- 47:54Speaker 2: it'll turn you off. It'll help you with your diet. Anyway.
- 47:58Speaker 2: We'll take some calls in a moment. Eight hundred three
- 48:01Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred
- 48:04Speaker 2: three two one zero seven ten.
- 48:06Speaker 1: Mister New York mar simone, he's on sevent ten.
- 48:10Speaker 10: WI.
- 48:12Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to George in Brooklyn. George,
- 48:16Speaker 2: how you doing okay? And you let me check not bad?
- 48:21Speaker 2: Not bad?
- 48:24Speaker 14: And I listen, there was no way uh mcdonney could
- 48:27Speaker 14: have lost. See he was running by himself.
- 48:29Speaker 2: What do you mean.
- 48:31Speaker 14: There was I mean nobody wanted them The other two.
- 48:34Speaker 14: So he was running by and sell, how could you
- 48:36Speaker 14: this is not legitimate?
- 48:38Speaker 2: I don't know, all right, very good point. I don't
- 48:40Speaker 2: know what it is, but as long as you do,
- 48:41Speaker 2: thanks for calling. Let's go to uh Lou in Wanta.
- 48:45Speaker 9: Lou.
- 48:45Speaker 5: How you doing okay?
- 48:47Speaker 14: Very good mark this, Lou. I want you to bring
- 48:51Speaker 14: up the point that all the goods in the country
- 48:53Speaker 14: are still a little bit high. Everybody's complaining, Well, not
- 48:56Speaker 14: all of them.
- 48:56Speaker 2: Prices have come down on a lot of things.
- 48:59Speaker 14: Yeah, well, there's a is a way President Trump could
- 49:01Speaker 14: even bring him down quicker. Stop the federal excise tax
- 49:06Speaker 14: on diesel fuel. Everything in the country ships by diesel fuel.
- 49:10Speaker 14: Trains run on diesel fuel, boats run on diesel fuel.
- 49:12Speaker 14: Trucks run on diesel fuel. You cut the federal excise tax,
- 49:16Speaker 14: everything will come down because the yeahs will pass that
- 49:19Speaker 14: on to the consumers.
- 49:20Speaker 2: Well, y're absolutely right. That's a good point. But more
- 49:23Speaker 2: than that, the biggest tax are the local state taxes
- 49:27Speaker 2: on gasoline. You know, if you go around the country,
- 49:31Speaker 2: gas is really cheap. Now we're getting cheaper, it's like
- 49:34Speaker 2: two sixty nine, but if you're in New York, it's
- 49:36Speaker 2: still three to ninety. Again, that's because of all the
- 49:38Speaker 2: local taxes. New York and California still have these high
- 49:42Speaker 2: gas prices because the tax you know, when you buy
- 49:45Speaker 2: a gallon of gas, if it's three fifty, the gas
- 49:48Speaker 2: station gets like four cents out of that three fifty.
- 49:51Speaker 2: The rest is all these taxes and raz So yeah,
- 49:53Speaker 2: just cut the state local taxes too. Let's go to
- 49:58Speaker 2: Anderson in Westchester. Anderson, how you doing?
- 50:01Speaker 6: Not bad for a fellow my age?
- 50:03Speaker 2: So how old are you?
- 50:05Speaker 6: Turned seventy nine yesterday?
- 50:06Speaker 2: That's not that old. That's the age of the president.
- 50:11Speaker 6: Yeah, no, it's not that all right, it's as old
- 50:13Speaker 6: as I've ever been. Let's put it down all right.
- 50:15Speaker 2: Where are you in Westchester?
- 50:17Speaker 6: Up around Yorktown?
- 50:18Speaker 2: Yorktown is very nice, Yorktown Heights. I love that place. Yeah,
- 50:22Speaker 2: but you got Uncle Giuseppe's up there, one of the
- 50:24Speaker 2: great supermarkets in the tristy there.
- 50:26Speaker 6: Oh yeah, so indeed they do. But listen, I got
- 50:30Speaker 6: some really troubling news. I run a small charity. Yeah,
- 50:35Speaker 6: and we've been working on climate change.
- 50:37Speaker 2: Sohneety nine, what are you working on trying to get
- 50:41Speaker 2: more climate change? What are you doing?
- 50:44Speaker 5: Well?
- 50:44Speaker 6: We were trying to figure out the problem. We were
- 50:46Speaker 6: like everybody else is running around complaining about the weather. Well,
- 50:50Speaker 6: it's getting hotter, the ice is melting, the ocean's rising.
- 50:53Speaker 6: Oh YadA, YadA, YadA. But then in twenty nineteen we
- 50:56Speaker 6: figured out, my goodness, we're looking at this and entirely
- 51:00Speaker 6: the wrong way. We should not be worried about the
- 51:02Speaker 6: weather or the melting ice or the rising.
- 51:05Speaker 2: First of all, the seas aren't The seas aren't rising,
- 51:08Speaker 2: the ice isn't melting. Everything's fine. Go back and watch
- 51:12Speaker 2: the al Gore movie An Inconvenient Truth. Watch it. Now,
- 51:15Speaker 2: everything he predicted never came true.
- 51:17Speaker 6: Yeah, well that's because al Gore, like everybody else, was
- 51:20Speaker 6: looking at the problem the wrong way.
- 51:22Speaker 2: No, it's because they were looking to make money off it.
- 51:24Speaker 2: It's a president Trump is right, the green scheme. Ocean's
- 51:29Speaker 2: not rising. Every Democrat they buy houses right on the
- 51:32Speaker 2: ocean all the time. Okay, the ice is not melting.
- 51:35Speaker 2: You're in New York Town, you don't even have water
- 51:37Speaker 2: near you.
- 51:37Speaker 6: Don't worry, all right, I'll tell you what. I'll let
- 51:40Speaker 6: you go because if you believe that stuff is true,
- 51:43Speaker 6: I don't. I don't think I've got the right audience.
- 51:46Speaker 2: No, you definitely don't. The fact that the hey, you know,
- 51:48Speaker 2: there's a great ABC News piece from two thousand. No, yeah,
- 51:53Speaker 2: around two thousand where they said Manhattan will be underwater
- 51:56Speaker 2: by twenty fourteen. And again the al Gore movies, a
- 51:59Speaker 2: great everything you predicted it never came true. Everything, John
- 52:01Speaker 2: Carey never never came true.
- 52:04Speaker 6: Okay, all right, well, very good, then take care.
- 52:06Speaker 2: You can't convince these people of anything. Do you remember
- 52:10Speaker 2: that ocean's rising? There's another grad I think it's CBS
- 52:14Speaker 2: Dan Rather. You can find these videos if you go online.
- 52:17Speaker 2: It was a piece on how Florida's going to be
- 52:19Speaker 2: underwater by the year twenty twelve. And while they do
- 52:25Speaker 2: these things, tell you the sea is rising, beaches are
- 52:29Speaker 2: going to go away. They buy houses on the beach
- 52:30Speaker 2: all the time. John Kerrey has a house on the beach.
- 52:33Speaker 2: The Obamas have bought now two houses on two different beaches.
- 52:38Speaker 2: CNN moved their headquarters from Columbus Circle to the water.
- 52:42Speaker 2: They moved it over to the Hudson River. They're right
- 52:44Speaker 2: on the river. So they don't even believe this stuff. Hey,
- 52:48Speaker 2: when we come back and Culter will be with us
- 52:50Speaker 2: next on seven to ten WR.
- 52:53Speaker 11: You're listening to the Mark Simone SHOWR.
- 52:59Speaker 2: Well and cold. Here the great columnist, best selling author.
- 53:02Speaker 2: And make sure you follow on Twitter. It's and Culter
- 53:04Speaker 2: at Twitter. Even better at substack where she's got videos
- 53:07Speaker 2: and interviews and podcasts and all sorts of stuff. Go
- 53:10Speaker 2: to and Culter dot substack dot com and culture dot
- 53:15Speaker 2: substack dot com and culture.
- 53:17Speaker 6: How you doing fantastic?
- 53:19Speaker 9: How are you, Mark Simon?
- 53:21Speaker 2: I'm good, I'm good. The mom Donnie says Jessica Tish
- 53:24Speaker 2: will stay as the police commissioner. So that's a good sign,
- 53:28Speaker 2: isn't it. Maybe it won't be as bad as we think.
- 53:31Speaker 9: No, that's fantastically. I hope the police can do their job.
- 53:35Speaker 9: The other big news and boy Mayor Adams should have
- 53:39Speaker 9: talked about this a little bit more. He apparently commissioned
- 53:43Speaker 9: a couple of architectural firms to come up with a
- 53:46Speaker 9: better method of the scaffolding that is all over the city,
- 53:51Speaker 9: absolutely destroying buildings, destroying sidewalks. Well, I didn't even know
- 53:56Speaker 9: he had done that.
- 53:57Speaker 2: Yeah, but we like scaffolding, well, scaffolding, you know what
- 54:03Speaker 2: you like?
- 54:03Speaker 5: Scaffold?
- 54:04Speaker 9: Well, no one likes scaffolding. It's oh, it's awful.
- 54:08Speaker 14: It's awful.
- 54:08Speaker 2: It's so it doesn't look good, but it doesn't look
- 54:11Speaker 2: good when you wake up like this morning and it's raining.
- 54:13Speaker 2: You can walk without an umbrella. You got the scaffolding
- 54:16Speaker 2: all the way around the block. It's perfect.
- 54:20Speaker 9: We could have pretty awnings for that instead. If that's
- 54:24Speaker 9: what you would like, march.
- 54:25Speaker 2: Someone, right, Okay, So obviously this architectural firm uh pretty
- 54:31Speaker 2: plugged in with the new administration getting a contract already.
- 54:34Speaker 2: That's very good. But these socialists taking over the Democratic Party.
- 54:40Speaker 2: Where are the elders of the party to stop this?
- 54:43Speaker 2: Why aren't they doing something about it?
- 54:46Speaker 9: Oh, I'm so glad you ask.
- 54:47Speaker 5: They're all dying.
- 54:49Speaker 9: They're all between eighty and one foot in the grave.
- 54:52Speaker 9: Something that's been happening with the Democratic Party. I mean,
- 54:55Speaker 9: this has been ongoing for a while. It was their
- 54:57Speaker 9: idea to bring in what is it at this point,
- 55:01Speaker 9: about forty million Third worlders because oh, great news, they're
- 55:05Speaker 9: voting nine to one for us. Well, it didn't occur
- 55:08Speaker 9: to the Democrats, but at some point the third worlders
- 55:10Speaker 9: would want to vote for their own and that's exactly
- 55:14Speaker 9: what's happening. It's what you see across the country, and
- 55:16Speaker 9: with the younger Democrats coming up, and they're not only
- 55:19Speaker 9: Third worlders, they're they're quite enthusiastic about socialism, evencomonalism.
- 55:24Speaker 2: You know, I never thought about that's a brilliant point.
- 55:26Speaker 2: So they've imported voters, but it turns out to be
- 55:29Speaker 2: from the kook wing of the party, the younger, more
- 55:33Speaker 2: crazy kind of voters.
- 55:35Speaker 9: I thought, yes, and also the very un anti you know,
- 55:39Speaker 9: traditional white American voters. So the parties are really about
- 55:46Speaker 9: to diverge in the next decade into into racial categories
- 55:50Speaker 9: more than political ideology.
- 55:52Speaker 2: Huh So, yeah, that's fascinating that the elders the mainstream,
- 55:56Speaker 2: then you got the young socialist kookie types, and then
- 56:00Speaker 2: there's also this other part of the Democratic Party, the
- 56:02Speaker 2: outrageous ones like the Chris Murphy you know you posted
- 56:07Speaker 2: that Chris Murphy declares that Trump was involved in a
- 56:11Speaker 2: child sex ring.
- 56:12Speaker 9: How does he get away with saying things like this, Well,
- 56:15Speaker 9: you know, Trump has brought a lot of lawsuits and
- 56:19Speaker 9: a lot of defamation lawsuits. Senator Chris Murphy did not
- 56:23Speaker 9: say that on the Senate floor. He did not say
- 56:26Speaker 9: that with any congressional immunity. It seems to me it's
- 56:29Speaker 9: a pretty open and shutcase of defamation. SUMP should definitely
- 56:34Speaker 9: sue him.
- 56:37Speaker 2: This CHRISTM. Chris Murphy doesn't have any money though, what
- 56:39Speaker 2: would you get out of him. It's not like suing ABC.
- 56:45Speaker 9: Just fair point. It would be worth it to get
- 56:47Speaker 9: a victory against him. Yeah, and it is. I mean,
- 56:50Speaker 9: speaking of which, it's very odd how the Democrats and
- 56:55Speaker 9: the media is sole exclusive interest in the Epstein files.
- 56:59Speaker 9: Is okay, control f Trump, control f Trump. They just
- 57:04Speaker 9: want to see where where Trump is mentioned. You know,
- 57:07Speaker 9: I was treating and sub attacking about a lot of
- 57:09Speaker 9: the emails that came out when Republicans released all those
- 57:11Speaker 9: documents last week. Really embarrassing for Michael Wolfe, really really
- 57:17Speaker 9: embarrassing for Cannon Star, and the greatest published humiliation I
- 57:22Speaker 9: think I've seen in my entire life against former Harvard
- 57:27Speaker 9: president Larry Summers. Are totally hilarious.
- 57:31Speaker 2: And who Biden administration advisor as well, Larry Summers.
- 57:37Speaker 9: Oh yes, yes, absolutely, also also of Amah.
- 57:40Speaker 5: Right.
- 57:41Speaker 9: Anyway, the Trump mentioned and yes, Trump the headlines. It's
- 57:46Speaker 9: curious the headlines are all you know, Trump mentioned one
- 57:49Speaker 9: million times in Epstein emails. Yeah, but none of them
- 57:53Speaker 9: are Trump emailing Epstein. It's Epstein who obviously has a
- 57:58Speaker 9: hard arm for this guy. He's upsetted and and and
- 58:02Speaker 9: he's all.
- 58:02Speaker 3: Over the map.
- 58:04Speaker 9: It's he's crazy, he's a loser, probably on drugs. He's
- 58:08Speaker 9: he's like a mobster. Ooh, the things I could tell
- 58:10Speaker 9: you about him. Do you want pictures of him standing
- 58:13Speaker 9: in my in my in my kitchen with with young
- 58:16Speaker 9: girls and bikinis. I could take him out right now,
- 58:19Speaker 9: but mostly one one journals like Michael Wolfe ask ask Epstein.
- 58:26Speaker 9: I'm interviewing Donald Trump. What should I ask him about?
- 58:28Speaker 9: Does he say anything about the girls?
- 58:30Speaker 4: You know?
- 58:30Speaker 9: He does not? Does he ever produce those photos, those
- 58:33Speaker 9: alleged photos he has, No, he does not. Heeps going
- 58:36Speaker 9: after Trump for the financial stuff. And as I said
- 58:40Speaker 9: in my In My In My sub Sect podcast last week,
- 58:44Speaker 9: I think I finally figured out why Trump is so
- 58:48Speaker 9: invested in keeping these these filestream coming out. I don't
- 58:51Speaker 9: think anyone thinks he was biddling little girls. I do.
- 58:55Speaker 9: I do continue to think that it has a lot
- 58:57Speaker 9: to do with his donors and perhaps important a lot
- 59:01Speaker 9: involved in diddling little girls. But reading through Epstein's emails,
- 59:06Speaker 9: I recalled how very sensitive our president is to anyone
- 59:12Speaker 9: not liking him, and how desperate he is to win
- 59:16Speaker 9: over libal elite, like the interview with Bob Woodward, like
- 59:20Speaker 9: sucking up to the New York Times, like calling Maggie
- 59:22Speaker 9: Haberman every day. Hopefully a little of that has worn
- 59:27Speaker 9: off since they spent four years pursuing him, prosecuting him,
- 59:31Speaker 9: bringing civil lawsuits against Hi, accusing him of everything under
- 59:34Speaker 9: the sun. But that is his instinct, crazy for anyone
- 59:38Speaker 9: to say something mean about him, And you know, a
- 59:40Speaker 9: normal person would think, oh, look, this pedophile.
- 59:44Speaker 5: Doesn't like me.
- 59:45Speaker 9: Good for me. Now. Trump doesn't want people reading anyone
- 59:50Speaker 9: saying something bad about him, And he knew Epstein hated
- 59:53Speaker 9: him and would be denouncing him in emails to do
- 59:57Speaker 9: everyone he knew, which is exactly what he was doing.
- 1:00:00Speaker 9: Like I say, as with others, as with me, as
- 1:00:02Speaker 9: with Peter Teel mentioned in the Epstein files, there's no Epstein,
- 1:00:06Speaker 9: There are no emails going back to Epstein. He keeps
- 1:00:09Speaker 9: talking about us, or, in the case of Teal, emailing
- 1:00:14Speaker 9: emailing emailing, hoping to strike up a friendship that doesn't
- 1:00:18Speaker 9: seem to be going through.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: Yeah, it's right, I saw your name of the Epstein files.
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: What was it exactly?
- 1:00:23Speaker 9: I forgot he was upset about a column I wrote
- 1:00:26Speaker 9: about him. I mean, I've been writing about this since
- 1:00:28Speaker 9: two thousand and six because this was I mean, okay,
- 1:00:31Speaker 9: Julie Brown's Pulitzer Prize winning series in the Miami Herald. Okay,
- 1:00:36Speaker 9: good for her. It finally got the liberal media interested
- 1:00:38Speaker 9: in the case. But basically everything, the most important stuff
- 1:00:42Speaker 9: she ran, had already been produced by the Palm Beach
- 1:00:45Speaker 9: police in two thousand and six, and it was ignored,
- 1:00:50Speaker 9: buried by the Democratic VA. Barry Frisher, state Attorney of
- 1:00:55Speaker 9: Palm Beach, he's the one who gave Epstein the flap
- 1:00:59Speaker 9: on the wrist. But all of this information was out there,
- 1:01:01Speaker 9: was in the Palm Beach Post, it was in the
- 1:01:04Speaker 9: police records, and the only national media I could ever
- 1:01:07Speaker 9: get interested in it was Bill O'Reilly Bless his hearts.
- 1:01:13Speaker 9: So yeah, I've been I've been following this case for
- 1:01:15Speaker 9: a while, and that did not make Jeffrey epsteem happy.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: Yeah. You know, the other fascinating thing when you watch
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: all these emails and texts back and forth with all
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: these people, especially during the first Trump administration, they're going
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: down to the White House and he's advising them, you know,
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: don't talk to Jared. Make sure you see this is
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: the person, this is the one who you should talk
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: to there. And he's wrong about everything. So I guess
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: he was trying to pretend he still had some knowledge
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: of Trump, which he didn't. Trump had cut him off years.
- 1:01:39Speaker 9: Before, so it only had very little knowledge about anything.
- 1:01:45Speaker 9: I mean, from what from what we've heard, all these
- 1:01:48Speaker 9: you know, brilliant scientists and the great thinkers of the
- 1:01:52Speaker 9: world that he would bring together, you know, by by
- 1:01:55Speaker 9: buying them dinner, flying them private, bringing them together to
- 1:01:59Speaker 9: tom Run. Everyone says, you know, they'd have to listen
- 1:02:03Speaker 9: to this infant at the head of the table, throw
- 1:02:05Speaker 9: out roonic ideas for a few minutes, nod sagely, and
- 1:02:10Speaker 9: then just get back to the wheel discussion.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: Yeah, so you're right. Basically that was his relationship. You'd
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: make huge donations, lend them the plane when they needed it,
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: all that stuff. But it's great stuff.
- 1:02:23Speaker 9: It's funny. Michael Wolfe is the only person at least
- 1:02:26Speaker 9: reading through the emails who seems to think that Jeffrey
- 1:02:30Speaker 9: Epstein actually has valuable information to in part.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: That's a good point. Well, everybody follow and culture on Twitter,
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: and make sure you've become a subs substack subscribers. You've
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: got all sorts of stuff on substack. It's and culter
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: dot substack dot com and Culter. Thanks for being with us.
- 1:02:51Speaker 9: Get to doctor Mark Solon Bye bye.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: Right, take care, Hey, don't forget coming up at noon,
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: Buck Sexton, Klay Travis with an excellent show. And then
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: you got Sean Hannity. That's you know, that's the most
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: listened to radio show in America. Sean Hannity, Jesse Kelly
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: at six, Jimmy Fail is on at nine. If you
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: haven't heard it, listen nine to midnight. You're gonna love
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: his show. It's very funny, very interesting, nine to midnight
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: on seven to ten w.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: If you're listening to Mark on the iHeartRadio app, save
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: time and tap the preset button.
- 1:03:21Speaker 7: Now.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simon Show on wor.
- 1:03:27Speaker 9: Well.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: Stock market down again, It's been down every day this week.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: It's a couple of reasons. One is weakening economy, not
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: in the US, but in China. Weakening Chinese economy. That's
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: got Wall Street a little spooked. And the other thing
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: is they believe now that AI is a bubble. They've
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: all convinced themselves there's a terrible AI bubble about to burst.
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: And that kind of group think can bring the market down. Well,
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: I mean, listen, better have it come down now then,
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: I mean it could be right, it could be an
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: actual bubble that bursts. You got that. Tom Steyer, the
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: billionaire Democrat, is going to run for is it president?
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: I don't know what hell he's running for. He's running
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: a governor something. Anyway, this is one of these billionaires
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: that wants to be in politics. And remember he's one
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: of the big, big billionaire donors and he always tell
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: you these guys get everything wrong when it comes to politics.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: They're brilliant in their own fields, absolute idiots when it
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: comes to politics. So he will waste a lot of
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: money and consultants will make a fortune off him with
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: this campaign. Hey, we're out of time. I'll be back
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: tomorrow ten to noon. Remember I'm here ten to noon
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: every weekday. But you could also listen anytime. Just get
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: the podcast wherever you get podcasts. So I'll talk to
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: you tomorrow at ten see you then on seven to
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: ten w
