- 1:20Speaker 1: I got to tell you about Linda.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Linda and I went to the same conference at Mastermind.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Afterwards down in Dallas last October we became roommates and right off from the first dinner we had that night there was just a connection.
- 1:32Speaker 1: I was just telling Linda off-camera.
- 1:35Speaker 1: I was like you know, as the conference went on, I look for you and if I found you it's like you are my landmine.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I'm okay, I'm right here.
- 1:41Speaker 1: I feel uncomfortable and I believe you're not, I'm an introvert.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Now there's Linda.
- 1:46Speaker 1: And then last December I went to Mastermind and she went there.
- 1:50Speaker 1: I'm like where's my landmark?
- 1:52Speaker 1: Oh, she's not here.
- 1:53Speaker 1: I'm sure we're going to have fun, because that's just who we are, right, linda.
- 1:59Speaker 2: That's right.
- 2:00Speaker 1: So, linda, give us a little.
- 2:01Speaker 1: You've got some amazing backstories, but just give us a couple of backstories that really led you to this place.
- 2:09Speaker 1: You have such a heart to see people well and to tell stories and really get in the forefront of people.
- 2:16Speaker 1: What would be a backstory to all of that to lead into your business and such?
- 2:22Speaker 2: You know there are so many stories, and for sure there were two pivotal stories in my childhood.
- 2:29Speaker 2: One was when I was eight years old, I was hit by a car and went temporarily blind and deaf.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I started to struggle academically and, ironically, I had an older sister who was mildly mentally handicapped and she was in special education and it was very eye-opening to see what it felt like to be an average student or to struggle.
- 2:56Speaker 2: I wasn't great at taking tests and so, you know, just took me a while to recover.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Of course this was in the 1970s, because I'm not young, and how ironic that they looked at this not as a brain injury, but they looked at this that I was just in shock.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Wow.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Of course I was in shock.
- 3:14Speaker 2: I was hit by a car.
- 3:16Speaker 2: But the second situation that was really pivotal for me I think it was really when I pronounced I was going to be responsible for my older sister.
- 3:27Speaker 2: We were home one summer, mom worked part-time like a mile and a half away and my older sister was 14, I was 12, and my younger sisters were eight and six and my sister had started like well, you know this.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Let me really paint this story.
- 3:49Speaker 2: So when you're watching television in the 1970s, there was no remote.
- 3:53Speaker 2: The lowest person on the totem pole or the person sitting closest to the TV was the one that changed the television.
- 4:00Speaker 2: And for some reason my older sister was sitting on the floor close to the TV and we asked her to change the channel and she didn't respond.
- 4:08Speaker 2: And we didn't know why.
- 4:12Speaker 2: We, you know, come on, change the channel and all of a sudden her body stiffened up and she started having convulsions and I was 12, I didn't know what was happening.
- 4:24Speaker 2: I sent my younger sisters to the neighbors and my sister went into a full-blown which I now know is a grand mal seizure, oh geez, and she definitely started to choke.
- 4:38Speaker 2: She was foaming at the mouth and I just instinctively rolled her over and saved her from choking to death.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Oh my.
- 4:45Speaker 2: And thankfully the ambulance came.
- 4:47Speaker 2: My mom got there at the same time and I remember sitting in the house alone and saying I'm going to be responsible for her one day when I grow up, and I felt pretty ill equipped as a 12 year old.
- 4:59Speaker 2: But that was kind of when I really started Thinking more like an adult.
- 5:04Speaker 2: I guess I kind of missed a little bit of my childhood.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Those were the two biggest pivotal situations.
- 5:12Speaker 2: The third one really I've got several, but the next one with my father was diagnosed with a terminal illness at the age of 53.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Oh, that's tough.
- 5:21Speaker 2: It was very rare.
- 5:22Speaker 2: In fact, there were three experts in the country and one of them happened to be in our city, which we were very lucky.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Okay.
- 5:30Speaker 2: But he really wanted to figure out a way to live as long as possible.
- 5:33Speaker 2: He went to his doctor and he said I need a partner, I need someone to help me, which it was not something that was in most people's vernacular or frame of mind.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Usually you go to the doctor, they say this and you go.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Okay, you go with your pills, you go with your diagnosis and you go home.
- 5:49Speaker 2: And he said to my father basically what I surmised to mean don't let your diagnosis be your prognosis.
- 6:00Speaker 2: And my dad really had a little bit of pep in his step and three days later this man dropped dead of a heart attack in his car on the way to work.
- 6:10Speaker 2: And my dad was devastated and at the time I was, I think, in my late 20s and I just said no, dad, like this guy could have dropped dead before he gave you that advice.
- 6:21Speaker 2: He gave you that advice.
- 6:23Speaker 2: That was a God thing and it was God giving you a little window into how to live this.
- 6:28Speaker 2: So he was given six to 18 months and he not only surpassed that, he lived for four years.
- 6:34Speaker 2: He was able to walk two of us down the aisle and spend more time with us.
- 6:42Speaker 2: So that was really, you know, thinking I was going to be taking care of someone and realizing that you could be in control of the way you approach your health was kind of my education before I even went to college, or after I went to college, actually with my father, but prior to that those were the biggest examples and then it basically led me to the way that I approached everything else after that time.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Yeah, wow.
- 7:11Speaker 1: So that really like jump started you into wanting to know more.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Not just to know, but to help, right.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Well, to be honest with you, I was a little agitated with my role.
- 7:23Speaker 2: I didn't.
- 7:24Speaker 2: I didn't really know.
- 7:26Speaker 2: You know, I had ideas and plans of what I thought I was going to be doing.
- 7:31Speaker 2: I was came home right out of college and I was working for the Pan Am Games and I was very excited about the career I thought I was launching, okay, and all of these situations just kept coming up and I don't know at what point I finally realized probably not too long ago To be honest, I guess I was a slow learner that God really had a different plan for me, so that you know, everything that I did needed to.
- 7:58Speaker 2: I needed to learn some lessons along the way to be able to offer you know advice and perspectives, because now, at the age of 59, I've walked my mother through 10 orthopedic surgeries.
- 8:11Speaker 2: I've helped my son with a brain injury.
- 8:14Speaker 2: My older sister, who I saved, unfortunately passed away from pulmonary embolism.
- 8:21Speaker 2: I've had a genetic blood clot disorder because of her, and so many of the lessons led me up to you know my own health challenges that came as a result of all of the stress.
- 8:39Speaker 1: But I don't see a woman sitting there in stress, so you obviously have a foundation.
- 8:44Speaker 1: How did the Lord play for you?
- 8:48Speaker 1: How did it play out to help sustain you?
- 8:51Speaker 2: Well, I mean growing up my parents, you know, we always went to church, Although, like good Catholics, we fought on the way to church.
- 8:59Speaker 2: There was only one bathroom with four girls.
- 9:02Speaker 2: So you know, it was always a little confusing because, you know, my mom was converted to Catholicism and didn't grow up with faith, and my dad was a devout Catholic, and so there were a couple of different messages that I got that you know the Lord was mysterious and that you just did faith in action.
- 9:27Speaker 2: It wasn't a lot of discussion, so there wasn't a lot of like.
- 9:30Speaker 2: I didn't have a lot of Bible knowledge.
- 9:33Speaker 1: I just knew that I could pray and I could have a conversation and so you know watching that there's something right there that in itself it's the basis of relationship, instead of the anything jumping through hoops.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Religion performance.
- 9:50Speaker 1: You just spoke so beautifully how anyone could get started in this thing called Christianity, I like to say in this thing called kingdom of God.
- 10:01Speaker 1: So that's beautiful.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Thank you for sharing it that way.
- 10:04Speaker 2: I think we over complicate things and we've lost our way.
- 10:08Speaker 2: I think, with with organized religion.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I think there's like it's it's sort of like the middleman, yeah, between you and God and and you really can, you know, like in business and in spirituality, you really can go around the middleman.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I think faith is is important in communion with other people.
- 10:28Speaker 2: I think that's what really Makes feeling part of a faith Valuable, but I also think that without the personal relationship, it's definitely just a place to go.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Right, but it does give you the time when you're there to process and think about it, and I did.
- 10:49Speaker 2: As soon as I left College, I started going to all kinds of different churches.
- 10:54Speaker 2: I did you know so many different things to just see where my heart would land.
- 10:59Speaker 2: I was open.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Yeah, and did that relationship?
- 11:03Speaker 1: How did that help you deal with so many I mean you had.
- 11:08Speaker 1: We're having setbacks.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Right up until I met you on the phone, I think maybe was it your son, or so how is that your rock?
- 11:16Speaker 2: I can't do anything without it, and you know what I love about Faith is that, you know, wasted a lot of years talking to people, and I even say talking about people Because I used to think, oh well, I'm a verbal processor and I process things by talking, right, okay, what I did was I created my own middleman.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Oh, wow, that kept me disconnected from the Lord.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Wow, that was a huge insight that I gained, for sure, probably not until my later adult years, like I'm not old but I'm not young, but it definitely took me a long time to really understand that the way that I was trying to find my way was getting in the way, right.
- 12:04Speaker 2: I think I'm just trying to really grasp what does faith look like?
- 12:08Speaker 2: And I always prayed, but it's sort of like that whole, you know, like when you pray and then you go okay, thanks God, I'll take that back.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Like to worry about that some more like to go over here and chat about it with three other people.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Wow they're taking their opinion, and then you're deluded on what?
- 12:26Speaker 2: God's really saying to you We've all been there.
- 12:29Speaker 1: That's in, you know, and I think sometimes in growing in relationship with God, you got to come to places where, okay, I'm learning to really give this to you now, god, and I'm not gonna rehash it with anyone else Okay, I really, I really got hey.
- 12:46Speaker 1: So let me ask you I don't know if I've asked you this before, but yeah, this had to be a mental strain.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I mean, you're talking trauma how have you been able to get through some of that, the mental strain of all of this?
- 12:59Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I think for years I distracted myself with all kinds of different things.
- 13:03Speaker 2: I, you know, I learned meditation.
- 13:04Speaker 2: I read a lot of books.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I did all the things that sort of went all the way around when I knew I needed to be, but I still kept doing them to try to figure it out.
- 13:16Speaker 2: But in the end, you know, like when my son had a brain injury, I was waking up in the middle of the night and I immediately went to prayer.
- 13:25Speaker 2: I immediately just journaled and prayed and you know I would fall asleep reading the Bible.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Oh, thank God.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Yes, and so you know, those things sustain you and then, when you really surrender yeah, you know, that's where, that's where things really start to line up, where you start to go oh, this is where I'm supposed to be, this is how I'm supposed to get the answers right.
- 13:47Speaker 2: You know, you can, you know that the way that I had been going about it was Working sometimes, but again it was just me going.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Okay, thanks God.
- 13:57Speaker 2: I appreciate your advice.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Let's go over here.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Yeah, you're in there, like that's at the core of everything.
- 14:05Speaker 1: I remember a month or two ago I was thinking about my business and thinking about stuff and and I just felt like that tiny voice you know you're trying to control all this.
- 14:13Speaker 1: I said, yeah, I am all right.
- 14:15Speaker 1: He says, will you please surrender it?
- 14:17Speaker 1: Okay, I'll surrender it, the timetable, the what, and it's not easy.
- 14:21Speaker 1: So if you're listening, you're like, oh, maybe God's talking to you that you're trying to control too many things.
- 14:27Speaker 1: And you know, when you surrender, you're surrendering into the hands of God.
- 14:32Speaker 1: If you have a relationship with them, if you don't ask them into your heart and watch God do things really exceedingly, abundantly, more than you could ever imagine.
- 14:40Speaker 1: And but I appreciate you bring that, because that's a tough one sometimes and I'm the same way.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Okay, I surrender that.
- 14:46Speaker 1: No, I'm gonna get over here, worry, we're all right.
- 14:48Speaker 1: So you know, um with your son, yeah, we're how.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Where is he now with all that?
- 14:54Speaker 2: I Mean he's fine.
- 14:56Speaker 2: And the reason he's fine is because through that process Let me just paint the story a little bit he had had some.
- 15:03Speaker 2: He had a pretty significant concussion in seventh grade and they had already been trained on.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Concussion protocol was for Junior high football, Okay, and they decided they knew better and so they didn't do the the coaches and they didn't do the concussion protocol.
- 15:19Speaker 1: So he had no baseline.
- 15:21Speaker 2: So he got hit so hard that he vomited and sat on the sideline dazed, which is a pretty much a severe concussion, right?
- 15:29Speaker 2: Yeah, they didn't say anything, they just sort of mentioned.
- 15:32Speaker 2: No, I got hit kind of hard today.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Ha, ha, ha, like it was a big deal.
- 15:36Speaker 2: The coaches said that and so took, took him home and he had headaches for for days, jesus help and so he was in and out of sports Most of seventh grade year, like you know, played it was.
- 15:49Speaker 2: You know he was.
- 15:50Speaker 2: I think that because he had no concussion protocol, no-transcript fairly quickly, and so what happens is if you don't heal those symptoms they continue on.
- 16:03Speaker 2: So he got hit just one more time too many in eighth grade by a kid who just pushed him against the wall and he hit his head and so we took him to a doctor who happened to be our local sports, professional sports football teams coach who did the concussion protocol.
- 16:23Speaker 2: He was a retired neurologist, so I felt pretty comfortable with that referral and he said out of sports all of eighth grade year.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Well, I was fine with that, but the the strain and the stress and then parents started making fun of us and the staff and the teachers really made it difficult.
- 16:42Speaker 2: So here I was getting pressure from them, getting squeezed by my son who was devastated every time he didn't get cleared, which I knew.
- 16:49Speaker 2: He wasn't gonna get cleared the whole year and I think he knew, but I think he kept holding out hope that he would, would get that.
- 16:56Speaker 2: So I was getting it from all sides.
- 16:57Speaker 2: So when I was praying I was asking for resources and I started finding some things and I found this thing called a D2 machine and it's.
- 17:05Speaker 2: A former pro player was using it with his grandson at some facility out east and I was like, well, that's really fascinating.
- 17:13Speaker 2: I prayed, let it go.
- 17:14Speaker 2: And then I was sitting at a game with my daughter and somebody said, hey, linda thought of you, and she gave me this referral and so we went to see this guy and he was in charge of all the race car drivers like he started, he started personal training for any car drivers.
- 17:36Speaker 2: He started with Roger Penske.
- 17:37Speaker 2: So he was, like you know, great and he had a D2 machine.
- 17:40Speaker 2: But I thought I better check with the doctor.
- 17:44Speaker 2: So I went back to the doctor and the doctor threw the folder across the room and said he doesn't present with vestibular, blah, blah, blah, blah, whatever he said.
- 17:53Speaker 2: And so I knew immediately that we were on to something.
- 17:57Speaker 2: So I fired him mentally and then went back to this guy and said okay, I can't sign up and do this until I get some medical perspective.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Okay, so he sent me to his friend who was head of all neurology for the University of Cincinnati.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Nice.
- 18:12Speaker 2: My son was evaluated.
- 18:13Speaker 2: It turned out he had no brain damage.
- 18:15Speaker 2: He had no vision damage, he had eye muscle weakness.
- 18:18Speaker 2: And so what happens with eye muscle weakness is 95% of processing starts in the eyes.
- 18:24Speaker 2: So if you have a muscle that's off in your head, you know from your eyes to your brain the information is slower, it doesn't get to your head.
- 18:33Speaker 2: So he recommended the D2 machine and some other vestibular exercises.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Okay, divergence anyway.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Long story short, we'd been doing it about two months at this point and he goes come in here, I want you to see this, the guy that works with the race car drivers.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Okay, and he said, hey, look at this, and on the leaderboard was my son, scott Dixon, dario Franckini, like all of the top Indy car drivers, and my son was beating them on this particular machine.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Wow, and that year Scott Dixon was really trying to improve his game and he said all right, who's this guy drive for?
- 19:10Speaker 2: The guy said oh man, you're getting punked by a 13 year old.
- 19:14Speaker 2: I love it, that's so funny.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Who's this guy driver?
- 19:18Speaker 1: Does he improve?
- 19:21Speaker 1: Does he heal?
- 19:22Speaker 2: Because he worked on that convergence, divergence, he was out of sports but he was able to hit.
- 19:28Speaker 2: By the spring he was able to hit a 90 mile an hour fastball.
- 19:32Speaker 2: No On baseball, summer workouts or whatever so by the spring workouts.
- 19:38Speaker 2: So it really was incredible.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Returning, you know, fully healed, was much better than the pressure.
- 19:46Speaker 2: And so that's what happens.
- 19:47Speaker 2: God is your safety net and he was my rock during that whole time because I literally I mean I was dealing with pressure from parents, pressure from teachers.
- 19:58Speaker 2: And then my son.
- 20:00Speaker 2: He was angry, you know, he didn't understand, he was wanting to play sports and you know we were getting ostracized.
- 20:08Speaker 2: So there was pressure on all sides, but I knew God had my back.
- 20:11Speaker 2: So then my prayers, and then seeing them all lay out on the resources and the doors that opened, you know, you know that's when you really know you've got to lean in and trust him and he's got your back.
- 20:25Speaker 2: That's so good and your son is fine now.
- 20:28Speaker 2: He's totally fine.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Yeah, went to college, you know, did great so what a new testimony there.
- 20:34Speaker 2: So so many of those you know like one of the stories I wanted to share with you.
- 20:39Speaker 2: It because we talked about my sister.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Yes, when she passed away unexpectedly, we were trying to make all the arrangements and going through all the things and my one sister volunteered to go to a flower shop to get an umbrella table for my mom's patio because we were thinking, oh, the afternoon sun, so blah, blah, blah.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Well, this particular place had like sunlights in it and there was a beam of sun just pouring down on this gorgeous she said, gigantic orange.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Mom, oh, wow, just gigantic.
- 21:16Speaker 2: And she was drawn to it and she didn't know why and she walked over to it because I was praying about doing a eulogy for my sister.
- 21:23Speaker 2: That's what led to this story.
- 21:26Speaker 2: And I didn't know.
- 21:27Speaker 2: You know how to do, how to go about this.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Yeah, and my sister walked over and flip the card over on the mom, thinking she'd find out what the name of the mom was.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Well, the name of the mom was the beauty of Cheryl, which is what my sister's name was.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Oh, my goodness.
- 21:43Speaker 2: And so you know, then being able to explain my sister's life in the eulogy entitled the beauty of Cheryl was a gift.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Now, the ironic part about that is I decided I really we bought them.
- 21:59Speaker 2: You know, we bought that mom.
- 22:00Speaker 2: We decided we wanted to buy them and plant them at our house, right, okay, so this was in the fall, so this would have been a full year later.
- 22:08Speaker 2: And I called around, I called growers on the West Coast, I called growers on the East Coast, I called growers in the South, and they'd never heard of the beauty of Cheryl.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Oh, my goodness, no, oh my goodness.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Like the way.
- 22:22Speaker 2: And then when I went back to the place that ordered it originally, she said well, I don't order it by the name, I order it by the color.
- 22:28Speaker 2: I could never find it again and I just decided that that was really just a gift from God to just snuck in there with his angels and like we're going to.
- 22:38Speaker 1: That is a beautiful story.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Yeah, that is incredible.
- 22:41Speaker 1: That just shows you how far God would go to speak to you and I say this to anyone listening.
- 22:48Speaker 1: You know, don't be surprised how it's not going to be your convention religious way, how he wants to speak to you and tell you how he loves you, and sometimes he does it in our own language, like what you like.
- 22:59Speaker 1: He shows up.
- 23:00Speaker 1: That is, that is incredible.
- 23:01Speaker 1: You never found it.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Someone listening.
- 23:04Speaker 1: If you know where that is, yeah, right, if you give your lenders the information, please tell her, because I'm sure she would still like it.
- 23:12Speaker 2: That would be amazing.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Yeah, let's talk business.
- 23:17Speaker 1: You're CEO of your own company.
- 23:18Speaker 1: What's your company name?
- 23:19Speaker 1: Again, Natural Expertise.
- 23:21Speaker 1: And now, with balancing so many things, how do you find how or maybe you're still finding ways to market that?
- 23:31Speaker 1: I mean, I know your stories are probably the best way to market, but have you thought of different ideas of how to do that?
- 23:38Speaker 2: Well, I just really felt called to do this, this year.
- 23:41Speaker 1: In the last year.
- 23:42Speaker 2: So it's really been a function of you know getting out and telling more of my stories, because I really do think that you know well part of it.
- 23:53Speaker 2: The story that I haven't shared is that I've struggled with.
- 23:55Speaker 2: I had 11 years of all kinds of random illnesses and autoimmune diseases and so forth, and because I believe in the prayer that I was healed of those as well, I literally refused for major surgeries and refused for prescription medications Wow.
- 24:14Speaker 2: That's still healed in spite of it.
- 24:17Speaker 2: So I really believe that it's a reminder to everyone that you know our bodies were designed to heal themselves, right.
- 24:26Speaker 2: We need some additional modalities from time to time.
- 24:30Speaker 2: We're not going to deny that doctors are needed.
- 24:31Speaker 2: I'm not going to deny that, you know, nurses or even medicines are needed.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Oh, you're in medicine, yeah, but I think that there is some part where, when you partner with God and you're healing, that you have the ability to see how God can work and, even if it's not healing your body, at least pointing you to the people and the resources that you need to do that.
- 24:52Speaker 2: So I'm really in the process of constructing how I want to do that and what that looks like, I'm not sure yet.
- 24:58Speaker 2: I'm just trusting the process to see where it goes, but you know definitely.
- 25:05Speaker 1: I understand that because sometimes you got to process what, who am I going to help with this?
- 25:09Speaker 1: I've got Linda's a walking I mean I don't know.
- 25:14Speaker 1: On psychopedia she's a walking answer solution.
- 25:17Speaker 1: So it's almost like, okay, which one are we going to pick?
- 25:20Speaker 1: Linda and I are also coached by the same people, chris Winfield and Jen Gottlieb, at least for one mastermind, and you know the idea of being able to really craft your message, and Jen's all about being seen and Chris is all about using AI.
- 25:36Speaker 1: So we got like a one-two punch there.
- 25:38Speaker 1: It helps narrow down exactly when am I gonna go.
- 25:46Speaker 1: And I understand that what you're saying, because Before I came to the mastermind, I was a jack of all trades too many.
- 25:51Speaker 1: I wasn't dialed down on one thing that I was really needed to do.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Well, I'm passionate about Podcasting, so I use the skills and I made a podcasting, made easy 101 with AI course, and then I'm like well, we need to know, people need to just know the basics of AI, so that that I'm just giving you that as an example of you got to narrow it down, but I'm but I know Linda's heart in my heart.
- 26:15Speaker 1: We want to find solutions, we want to find extra, but we may think our ordinary but they do become the extraordinary solutions to other people's pain points.
- 26:25Speaker 1: And I really appreciate you, linda, because I really see that in your heart You've got so much knowledge.
- 26:31Speaker 1: I know I think one night we were talking in the motel and I'm like you are just a walking medical answer, but to be able to get that down, but if I'd say anything, tell your stories, tell your stones, because there I mean to story of your son, even the story of your sister, your story.
- 26:50Speaker 1: I think people are more interested in that story Than anything else.
- 26:55Speaker 1: And you know, I feel honored that you shared some really tender stories right here and and I think that I pray that this is like Really encourages you that you're valuable, linda, and you are worthy and you are more than enough.
- 27:10Speaker 1: You're called to really speak and I appreciate you speaking here on the kingdom, unleashing kingdom voices.
- 27:17Speaker 1: I changed the name so I can be the kingdom enterprise guest, so so I want to ask you one final word for someone Sure, and they are in a whirlwind of medical.
- 27:28Speaker 1: They're a Christian, they know Jesus, okay, but they're in a whirlwind of a medical situation.
- 27:34Speaker 1: It might be mental, it might be physical.
- 27:36Speaker 1: I Think of those two as the most.
- 27:39Speaker 1: But what words of wisdom.
- 27:41Speaker 1: And let me say something, because I want to say this on you because you are so valuable, because you didn't stuff any of the stuff you went through, you have brought forth Insight and wisdom for us, and that it's not just we're inside wisdom, but you have the ability to bring transformation because you faced all these things.
- 28:00Speaker 1: So, that being said, what advice would you give On someone really think I eat mental or physical Well, what advice would you give them?
- 28:11Speaker 2: Well, first of all, I always say and thank you for that.
- 28:13Speaker 2: I.
- 28:14Speaker 2: That was very, very sweet of you.
- 28:15Speaker 2: I.
- 28:16Speaker 2: I think that the important thing to know is from my standpoint I've been through a lot, I have a lot of knowledge, but I also know that I am, you know, not a medical practitioner, I'm not licensed in any form of health, but I'm the evidence and I'm the evidence that with God you can heal.
- 28:34Speaker 2: So my advice would be you know, advocating is very it's a sport.
- 28:40Speaker 2: I've decided you know like you really have to.
- 28:43Speaker 2: You know the few things I would recommend right off the bat.
- 28:47Speaker 2: You've got to document and write down all of your symptoms.
- 28:50Speaker 2: You've got to Do it over time, not just one day.
- 28:54Speaker 2: You've got a document over time and then the second thing you really really need to do is you need to print out a list of questions and start Researching, start looking, start talking to people.
- 29:06Speaker 2: You know it's not always comfortable.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Sometimes you'll see someone post something, reach out to them and ask them questions and then you know, as my dad did, making your doctor your partner Go informed, go as much information as you can, because they're going to give you as little time as they can to make sure they can get through their day, because they've got malpractice Insurance and they've got all kinds of different things.
- 29:32Speaker 2: So they're going to need that Extra incentive for you to keep their attention, and that is to be to be prepared.
- 29:40Speaker 2: I excellent, and then the fourth thing I will say is be willing to look for outside solutions.
- 29:46Speaker 2: Okay take the information under advisement.
- 29:49Speaker 2: Thank you so much for your information.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Okay, it doesn't resonate, if it doesn't feel good, pray about it.
- 29:54Speaker 2: And if that's not right, maybe it's the wrong physician, maybe it's the wrong healing path.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Yeah, oh, wow, that's powerful.
- 30:02Speaker 1: I hope you wrote that down.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Those are listening, or you're listening on the podcast?
- 30:06Speaker 1: Pause that those are.
- 30:07Speaker 1: So that's that's value of wisdom coming from someone who's walked through.
- 30:12Speaker 1: She's walked the talk.
- 30:13Speaker 1: She's not just telling you what to do, so, wow.
- 30:16Speaker 1: So are you gonna use any AI or have you used any?
- 30:20Speaker 2: I have been, I've been.
- 30:21Speaker 2: I've got a lot of different projects on AI right now, like great.
- 30:24Speaker 2: I have six tabs open.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Nice, I love it.
- 30:28Speaker 1: I guys, I gotta talk AI because that's part of my business and that's what we're learning together.
- 30:32Speaker 1: So I just encourage you.
- 30:35Speaker 1: You know, reach out.
- 30:36Speaker 1: You can reach out to me.
- 30:38Speaker 1: I've got two courses, I got some webinars coming up just to introduce something that it's like this.
- 30:44Speaker 1: It's like some people are not sure of it.
- 30:47Speaker 1: It's like, okay, this is a tool, it's a pin, it can do good things, right, right, right, and it can do evil things.
- 30:53Speaker 1: But wouldn't it be great, linda, if we get this tool into the right hands that can really help people bring solutions and Free up some moms who are working that can spend more time with their kids because AI is taking care of it?
- 31:07Speaker 1: Now, we don't mean copy and paste.
- 31:09Speaker 1: We do mean train AI to know your voice, train AI to know your audience.
- 31:13Speaker 1: I mean it's not just a matter of, okay, I'm gonna open it up and no, there are specific ways for it to train your voice, specific ways to find your ideal audience.
- 31:23Speaker 1: So I always use that caution because they think it's the answer.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Well, it is the answer, but you got to do a little work and understanding how to make the answer.
- 31:31Speaker 1: So thanks for let me have a free commercial on AI.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Yeah, no, it's great, and anybody that's listening should work with you for sure.
- 31:39Speaker 1: I just I'm.
- 31:40Speaker 1: You know, I am so passionate.
- 31:41Speaker 1: It's like this podcast.
- 31:43Speaker 1: I get to share voices, ai, and I love video.
- 31:48Speaker 1: I get to share my voice because I often believe, linda, that there are women and men who are they're trapped, feeling voiceless because of the trauma they've gone through.
- 32:01Speaker 1: It may be a mental sickness, maybe a marriage, and they're trapped, they feel voiceless.
- 32:05Speaker 1: But they can discover Transformation, yeah, by listening to people like you who are sharing about answers, but really it comes from the core of your identity.
- 32:14Speaker 1: And then you speak, linda.
- 32:18Speaker 1: You're speaking to the person you once were.
- 32:20Speaker 1: That's, to me, is my heart.
- 32:25Speaker 1: If you behind AI, I mean I could talk about AI, but you really want to know what our heart is.
- 32:30Speaker 1: We want to see people like you Be able to live the life abundant that Jesus promised.
- 32:36Speaker 1: And if you don't know Jesus, I encourage you to draw near to him because he will draw near to you.
- 32:42Speaker 1: It says in the word never done this, but I think people know I'm a Christian, but I feel like someone's listening, and they're listening for the medical reasons, but they don't know our physician, jesus, linda.
- 32:51Speaker 1: So we just invite you, dm us and we'll share more about what it means to be a kingdom living Christian.
- 33:00Speaker 1: I say kingdom, you know, you know, I say kingdom.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Let me share a story.
- 33:04Speaker 1: So one morning I was getting up and I was struggling and all of a sudden I sat in my chair.
- 33:10Speaker 1: I'm coming, I'm coming around, kingdom folks, and Linda, I felt old.
- 33:15Speaker 1: I said I'm, I'm really struggling at the 60, I'm 60 years old and I, like, in 20 years I'm gonna be 80, and then I'll had regret, and, oh my gosh, that marriage always stuffed me down.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Well, who's gonna take care of me?
- 33:29Speaker 1: And God met me right there.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Everything I read had to do with the kingdom, but the number one thing was in.
- 33:36Speaker 1: In Colossians, it says he rescued us from the dominion of darkness and Transferred us into the kingdom of light of Jesus Kingdom.
- 33:47Speaker 1: So God's like at the end of the time with him.
- 33:49Speaker 1: He's like, tracy, your kingdom now you don't wait to die to get into the kingdom of God.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Sure, your kingdom has some eggs and you're 60 years old, but that that doesn't end, you're, the kingdom continues.
- 34:00Speaker 1: I don't know if that helps anyone, but I don't.
- 34:03Speaker 1: I wasn't planning on sharing that, but beautiful.
- 34:05Speaker 1: That's what Linda's about is.
- 34:06Speaker 1: The kingdom, though, and if you need and you would like.
- 34:10Speaker 1: I think God can tug on you.
- 34:12Speaker 1: We don't.
- 34:12Speaker 1: We don't beat you over, because we believe God's kindness Leads us to repentance.
- 34:18Speaker 1: So God's kindness is extended towards you, listener, or if you're listening on live or you're listening on this podcast, and he's so faithful.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Look at the faithfulness of God and Linda stories or testimonies.
- 34:31Speaker 1: I mean, look at the faithfulness of God in her son's story.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Wow, linda, keep talking, keep sharing, sister, and I'm so honored to have you on my podcast to really to really have Real down-to-earth conversations, just like we did that first night at dinner.
