- 1:19Speaker 1: Good.
- 1:20Speaker 3: I saw the unveiling they pulled that big sheet off
- 1:22Speaker 3: of it, and I was like, yeah, not bad?
- 1:25Speaker 4: Is he pretty good? It was Hall of Famer.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Like, yeahy walk from part of the Blake Street bomber.
- 1:34Speaker 4: That's right, Yeah, statue for sure.
- 1:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:37Speaker 2: It's such a cool dude. I remember when he got
- 1:39Speaker 2: the call.
- 1:39Speaker 6: They always film when the guy gets the call for
- 1:42Speaker 6: the Hall of Fame. He was rocking a SpongeBob shirt.
- 1:45Speaker 6: It's just such a relaxed, cool dude, like typical Canadian, like,
- 1:49Speaker 6: oh wait, I meet the Hall of Fame, all right?
- 1:51Speaker 2: Cool? Like I just love him so much.
- 1:52Speaker 4: He's such like a nice guy.
- 1:53Speaker 3: He was out there hugging fans and yeah, kissing babies
- 1:56Speaker 3: and all that.
- 1:57Speaker 2: So he talked about his dad and got choked up,
- 1:59Speaker 2: and it made me choke up.
- 2:01Speaker 4: It's like me with a Dave Matthews Manson.
- 2:04Speaker 7: Uh.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:05Speaker 3: The other day we talked about how I want a
- 2:07Speaker 3: memorial bench. Wonder if I can get a memorial statue.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Where would you put it?
- 2:11Speaker 1: I'd feel a little harder.
- 2:13Speaker 4: Just figure out if we can put it out in
- 2:14Speaker 4: front of the radio stations.
- 2:15Speaker 5: Put it in your front yard of your c What
- 2:17Speaker 5: would your pose be, because you're not an app Oh yeah.
- 2:20Speaker 3: I'd be holding a a okay, or given them fingershooters

- 2:36Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, we'll flush this up.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Okay.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Were you at some sort of a Star Wars night
- 2:40Speaker 4: with the baseballs?
- 2:42Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, Okay, the Rockies are so bad. So
- 2:44Speaker 6: they do so many theme nights. Look, no, this is
- 2:47Speaker 6: the thing. I'm it's I'm sorry they are They do
- 2:50Speaker 6: so many theme nights.
- 2:50Speaker 2: But that is the thing. The Rockies do so well.
- 2:53Speaker 6: Whether it's CSU c U night, they do everything for
- 2:55Speaker 6: the colleges well over the weekend. On Saturday, they did
- 2:58Speaker 6: Star Wars Night. This is my time to shine like.
- 3:01Speaker 6: I love it so much. So many people were dressed up.
- 3:05Speaker 6: I maybe stayed in my seats for fifteen minutes of
- 3:09Speaker 6: the entire game because I was like.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Oh, dude, everything.
- 3:13Speaker 6: First of all, they were selling inflatable lightsabers, which was awesome.
- 3:16Speaker 6: Then I was chasing down Stormtroopers and Darth Vader to
- 3:18Speaker 6: try to get pictures with them. I couldn't find Darth
- 3:21Speaker 6: Vader day ruined. That sucked, But everything else was so cool.
- 3:23Speaker 6: They had Star Wars themed food, they had Star Wars
- 3:26Speaker 6: theme drinks. I had a blast meeting all the other nerds.
- 3:29Speaker 6: First of all, the person I was sitting next to
- 3:32Speaker 6: him and his girlfriend were like R two D two
- 3:34Speaker 6: and some other droid.
- 3:35Speaker 2: I didn't even know it was sick. They had those guys.
- 3:38Speaker 6: They had so many of those little guys and sad people,
- 3:42Speaker 6: and it was just so much fun.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Like the Rockies lost. I didn't even care. I was like,
- 3:47Speaker 2: it does.
- 3:47Speaker 6: I met Chewbaca first of all, so you making that
- 3:49Speaker 6: sound was awesome. I had so much fun. I seriously
- 3:52Speaker 6: stayed in my seats for ten minutes.
- 3:54Speaker 4: It was like me at comic cons.
- 3:55Speaker 6: Yes, the nerd in meat just came out. I had
- 3:58Speaker 6: such a blast.
- 3:59Speaker 4: Girl with you, Yeah, and it was awesome. She stayed
- 4:01Speaker 4: with you.
- 4:02Speaker 8: Oh.
- 4:02Speaker 6: All she did was stand behind me the whole time
- 4:04Speaker 6: and just film me because I was like, take a
- 4:05Speaker 6: picture of.
- 4:05Speaker 2: This, take a picture of this, take a picture of this,
- 4:07Speaker 2: and it was. It was I had so much fun.
- 4:10Speaker 5: It was.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I saw you your picture with your Darth Maul T shirt.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Yes, of course I was decked out.
- 4:17Speaker 6: I was trying to decide, this is so funny, and
- 4:19Speaker 6: I think I'm gonna do it next year. I was
- 4:20Speaker 6: trying to decide of whether I should actually dress up
- 4:23Speaker 6: or not, and I totally got shy and I didn't
- 4:26Speaker 6: because that earlier that day, I had lunch with my
- 4:28Speaker 6: mom and she was like, Hey, are you going to
- 4:29Speaker 6: the Star Wars And I was like yes. She goes,
- 4:31Speaker 6: are you gonna dress up? And I was like, yeah, absolutely,
- 4:34Speaker 6: and she's like, I wouldn't do that.
- 4:35Speaker 2: I got talked out of it.
- 4:36Speaker 6: She's like, my old mother. It's quite the trek. It's
- 4:43Speaker 6: an eighty one hundred foot mountain. And the sun started
- 4:47Speaker 6: to get too tired, and instead of turning around and
- 4:49Speaker 6: taking his son back home, the father completely abandoned him,
- 4:53Speaker 6: completely left him on a mountain park bench and said, hey,
- 4:57Speaker 6: you wait here, I'm gonna go climb the top this mountain.
- 5:00Speaker 6: He really wanted to climb this mountain. So that was
- 5:02Speaker 6: at four point thirty in the morning when the boy
- 5:04Speaker 6: got too tired. At seven forty. So three hours later
- 5:09Speaker 6: the police were notified and they found this man at
- 5:11Speaker 6: the eighth station.
- 5:12Speaker 2: There's different stations here as you go up the mountain.
- 5:14Speaker 6: They found him at the eighth station and said you
- 5:16Speaker 6: need to return to your son right now, and they're
- 5:19Speaker 6: charging him with abandonment. First of all, yeah, the sun
- 5:22Speaker 6: was found uninjured. He was totally fine other than just
- 5:24Speaker 6: being tired. But yeah, this father is in a heap
- 5:27Speaker 6: of trouble.
- 5:27Speaker 2: That's rediculous.
- 5:28Speaker 3: List is a feel good story of the morning right
- 5:30Speaker 3: here like this. You know what, sometimes dad just wants
- 5:33Speaker 3: some peace.
- 5:33Speaker 1: And compy, right exactly.
- 5:34Speaker 4: It's like if we went.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Hiking with Katie, we would leave her at a bench
- 5:37Speaker 3: and just finish.
- 5:40Speaker 9: We've got receipts, We've got drummer, we've got Denver talking.
- 5:45Speaker 9: It's the Mile High Hike with JKJ Legends and icon
- 5:49Speaker 9: On makes one hundred.
- 5:50Speaker 4: It is time for the hype.
- 5:52Speaker 3: It's all the big stories of the day. We're pretty
- 5:54Speaker 3: darn tapped in and I should let you know that
- 5:56Speaker 3: it is all brought to you by Mountain High Appliances,

- 6:09Speaker 2: appliance dot com.
- 6:11Speaker 3: One of my most favorite days today because I got
- 6:13Speaker 3: a jingle for it.
- 6:14Speaker 4: It's National Waffle Day.
- 6:17Speaker 2: We like waffle. Do you like pancakes? And we like pancakes.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Do you like prench Dove? Yeah, we like prench Those
- 6:23Speaker 2: can't wait together. It's just so stupid.
- 6:33Speaker 4: It is national.
- 6:34Speaker 2: I know where do I find this crap?
- 6:36Speaker 3: It is National Waffle Day. I think the waffle might.
- 6:39Speaker 4: Be superior to the pancake.
- 6:41Speaker 2: It depends.
- 6:42Speaker 4: I'm not talking like Lego, my ago, that's crap. Belgian, Yeah,
- 6:45Speaker 4: like Belgian.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Yeah, the thick ones. Hold the syrup.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Oh, hold the syrup like somebody holds me on my honeymoon.
- 6:53Speaker 5: Not just you know, limit ourselves to the sweet waffles
- 6:57Speaker 5: yecause waffles can go so many I mean not.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Maker waffle both ways.
- 7:02Speaker 5: You could put stuffing in a waffle maker to mashed
- 7:05Speaker 5: potatoes like.
- 7:09Speaker 1: You really can. These are things you can do. So
- 7:13Speaker 1: I'm just saying, there's a lot of ways clean your
- 7:15Speaker 1: toilet with them. There's a lot of ways you can
- 7:18Speaker 1: scrub the tile and shower with them. Just about anything
- 7:21Speaker 1: in that waffle. Man can wash your car with them.
- 7:24Speaker 1: It has been done.
- 7:25Speaker 5: I mean, the little grooves make perfect for holding SuDS.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Because your car.
- 7:30Speaker 3: What is the weirdest thing you could put in those
- 7:32Speaker 3: little grooves Vix vapor rub.
- 7:35Speaker 4: That's always my go to.
- 7:36Speaker 1: All kinds of stuff you could put in those groups.
- 7:40Speaker 4: Jerry light, a toilet bowl cleaner.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Then you get in there, yeah, and you just grub.
- 7:44Speaker 1: It a with grub a dubber.
- 7:46Speaker 4: Anyway, have a have a big old fat waffle today,
- 7:49Speaker 4: all right?
- 7:49Speaker 3: So this is another one of those anyone can make
- 7:52Speaker 3: money on only fans. People will watch anyone take their
- 7:56Speaker 3: clothes off for money. Lauren E Fred her middle. She
- 8:03Speaker 3: goes by Pumpkin. She's from Honey Booo. It's daughter of
- 8:08Speaker 3: Mama June's sister of Honey Boo boo. Yes, Pumpkin has
- 8:12Speaker 3: officially joined only fans. She's making fifteen thousand dollars per day.
- 8:19Speaker 1: No, that's.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Per day. What is I should look her up? What
- 8:24Speaker 4: is Pumpkin look like?
- 8:25Speaker 2: No?
- 8:25Speaker 4: No, no, no, my mind.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Can't compute that.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Oh no, yeah, but.
- 8:31Speaker 3: It's the whole thing that's like it's somebody out there's
- 8:34Speaker 3: you know.
- 8:35Speaker 5: Well she is a little bit of a famous name
- 8:38Speaker 5: tied to her.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Well, no, but honey, boo boo, I.
- 8:42Speaker 5: Mean that whole family, Like, there is that kind of
- 8:45Speaker 5: notoriety tied to her name.
- 8:47Speaker 1: So automatically people are.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Gonna search her OnlyFans content.
- 8:52Speaker 5: But you're right, this is along those lines of everybody's
- 8:55Speaker 5: doing it now.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Her favorite foods are scady and butter.
- 9:01Speaker 4: She says she's doing it for her children. She's doing
- 9:04Speaker 4: it to provide her kids a better lifestyle.
- 9:07Speaker 2: She has kids.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm only six and I've already had three heart attacks.
- 9:18Speaker 3: All moreover saturation of Dolly Parton. I guess a Dolly
- 9:22Speaker 3: Parton avatar is in our future. She's working with the
- 9:26Speaker 3: team UH to create avatar performances in its early stages,
- 9:30Speaker 3: because you know, it's been in the news that her
- 9:32Speaker 3: health I think.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Is kind of declining a little bit.
- 9:34Speaker 3: She's been having to cancel a bunch of events and stuff.
- 9:37Speaker 3: But Dolly is going to keep on rocking in the future.
- 9:40Speaker 3: This would be good at dolly Land, Dolly Park, dolly Wood, Dollywood,
- 9:45Speaker 3: Dolly Dollyland. It would be nice to have a Dolly
- 9:49Speaker 3: Parton avatar there.
- 9:50Speaker 4: I would think.
- 9:51Speaker 3: She's also opening a new hotel next month in downtown Nashville.
- 9:55Speaker 4: It's called the Song tail Or Hotel.
- 9:57Speaker 3: She's opening a museum called the Life of Many Colors.
- 10:01Speaker 3: And then she's also working on a line of dog
- 10:04Speaker 3: treats with Purina as well, Dolly Parton Dog Treats. Okay,
- 10:08Speaker 3: the oversaturation continues.
- 10:10Speaker 4: And then by far my most favorite story of the day.
- 10:12Speaker 4: Screw all this.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Spider Man stuff that's going on right now, biggest movie
- 10:16Speaker 3: of all time. Nicholas Cage's returning for National Treasure three.
- 10:20Speaker 3: This is the news we need to be talking about, right,
- 10:23Speaker 3: This is it.
- 10:24Speaker 6: Love that series, me too, so excited for the third.
- 10:27Speaker 6: We've waited what like twenty years?
- 10:28Speaker 4: Oh when was the last one?
- 10:31Speaker 3: Two thousand and seven, The Book of Secrets. It earned
- 10:34Speaker 3: about five hundred million globally, so it did, all right.
- 10:37Speaker 2: So good, Nicky mar Still.
- 10:40Speaker 4: It's so good. All right, So National Treasure three it'll
- 10:44Speaker 4: probably go straight to Disney pluses, I guess. But but
- 10:50Speaker 4: you got yeah, right, you're away.
- 10:53Speaker 1: I'm so awake, all right.
- 10:54Speaker 4: Katie's going on two hours of sleep, you guys.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Well, you know what it's story you hear why.
- 11:02Speaker 10: Shut Oh my goodness, okay, so appropriately, can we move
- 11:13Speaker 10: on to the bear?
- 11:20Speaker 1: It gives you wings? Sorry? Okay? Anyway, Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
- 11:26Speaker 5: They responded to the Platte Park neighborhood in Denver. We're
- 11:30Speaker 5: talking Pennsylvania and Louisiana after reports came.
- 11:33Speaker 1: In of a bear in a tree in Denver.
- 11:38Speaker 5: This is just wild to me, uh there. So there
- 11:43Speaker 5: were four bear attacks in Colorado made such national news
- 11:49Speaker 5: because in Aspen, Snow Mass, Steamboat Springs, and Eagle all
- 11:53Speaker 5: had some bear reports because this severe drought of forcing
- 11:57Speaker 5: animals to hunt harder for food, but four winters, so
- 12:01Speaker 5: that is why we're seeing all of these bears just
- 12:03Speaker 5: out and about. But yeah, there were four attacks in
- 12:06Speaker 5: one week across Colorado, and so that's what they're really
- 12:09Speaker 5: talking about, is how it's just ramped up in one
- 12:13Speaker 5: week across Colorado with this activity.
- 12:15Speaker 4: So there was one in my neighborhoods.
- 12:17Speaker 3: It was on next door. People were sharing pictures of it.
- 12:20Speaker 3: So now when I go outside, I've got to be
- 12:21Speaker 3: careful with my little dog.
- 12:23Speaker 5: Well, yes, absolutely, children be a lot more mindful because
- 12:27Speaker 5: they are out again in record numbers.
- 12:30Speaker 4: I gave my daughter a hatchet to carry around.
- 12:32Speaker 1: That's smarter, you you know, teaching me.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Young yet And she got a machete thing in her back,
- 12:37Speaker 3: so she pull it out, you know, like a.
- 12:43Speaker 2: She's like bringing bears.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Kid.
- 12:47Speaker 5: Yeah, but honestly, it's really they're saying that, like as
- 12:52Speaker 5: far as seeing them, it is everywhere.
- 12:54Speaker 4: It's not just oh, we know that's all you talk about.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Jeremy and a tree in Denver, a bear.
- 13:02Speaker 5: If you look at the video of them capturing it,
- 13:04Speaker 5: like the bear falls out of the tree.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Well they tranquilized it.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Down goes a bear.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Anyway, what else gets crazy?
- 13:12Speaker 5: Okay, how about the Denver Museum of Nature and Science,
- 13:15Speaker 5: because this is big. They officially opened the newly renovated
- 13:18Speaker 5: Storm Family wing. Ye, so yeah, the massive east wing transformation.
- 13:24Speaker 5: Twenty million dollar donation came in from the Storm Family Foundation.
- 13:29Speaker 5: So it was a really big deal that that big
- 13:31Speaker 5: of a you know, donation was put up for the
- 13:34Speaker 5: Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
- 13:36Speaker 1: It was the largest private gift in the museum's history.
- 13:40Speaker 5: So they're looking to open that new wing on Tuesday,
- 13:43Speaker 5: September first, So they're going to have a big old deal.
- 13:46Speaker 1: But have you ever been to that the Museum of
- 13:48Speaker 1: Nature and Science? Oh?
- 13:50Speaker 3: Absolutely, yeah, hundreds of times. So I love the Hall
- 13:53Speaker 3: of Life there is my favorite.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah.
- 13:55Speaker 5: So, like, what's new in the wing is again the
- 13:58Speaker 5: Storm Family Wing. They're gonna have a curiosity lab in there.
- 14:01Speaker 5: There's going to be a classroom community hub. Yeah, you
- 14:05Speaker 5: can ask all kinds.
- 14:06Speaker 7: Of questions by the sky blue so much as a
- 14:11Speaker 7: cloud way. You already have questions ready, why does my
- 14:16Speaker 7: dog keeps look at his boy?
- 14:18Speaker 1: So smart of you, Jeremy, to have them wind up.
- 14:20Speaker 7: They also just can't keep talking about bear because they're everywhere,
- 14:24Speaker 7: I mean, my Denver Jeremy.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Okay.
- 14:28Speaker 5: So they also have this Infinity Theater there at the
- 14:31Speaker 5: Denver Museum of Nature and Science, so uh, it's uh,
- 14:34Speaker 5: it's got the advanced visual and sound upgrades and the
- 14:37Speaker 5: Infinity theater, so I believe that's just like all the
- 14:40Speaker 5: way around, right. Yeah, So they've got that in there
- 14:43Speaker 5: as well as an Infinity Lobby, so right when you
- 14:46Speaker 5: come in, you're gonna see all kinds of new stuff
- 14:49Speaker 5: there in the Storm Family Ring. And then they also
- 14:51Speaker 5: have the plaza that they've added to.
- 14:54Speaker 1: The Storm Family Wing.
- 14:55Speaker 5: So that's a community gathering area. It connects seamlessly with
- 15:00Speaker 5: park so it is kind of neat all the stuff
- 15:02Speaker 5: that they've added to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
- 15:05Speaker 5: If you get a chance to check out all of
- 15:07Speaker 5: the upgrades.
- 15:08Speaker 1: And then one more story. So now you're gonna love this.
- 15:11Speaker 5: It is the third annual park Hill Cat Tour scheduled
- 15:14Speaker 5: for this Sunday. Okay, so they have sessions okay, one
- 15:19Speaker 5: at nine, one at one.
- 15:20Speaker 1: And what it is. I just love this so much.
- 15:24Speaker 5: It's a free, whimsical community event one two. It brings
- 15:27Speaker 5: cat lovers together. And what you do is you walk
- 15:31Speaker 5: around park Hill and you admire the local felines that
- 15:36Speaker 5: lounge and windows, hang out on your porches, and ride
- 15:40Speaker 5: along in pet strollers.
- 15:45Speaker 4: You would love it.
- 15:46Speaker 5: So you're just walking around park Hill looking in people's windows,
- 15:49Speaker 5: checking out their cats.
- 15:51Speaker 3: That is the park Kill Cat Tour goods.
- 15:55Speaker 1: I knew you would like it.
- 15:57Speaker 5: And if they're hanging out on the porch, they're just
- 16:00Speaker 5: riding the long and the pet.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Stroll around on is your prime cat peep in time?
- 16:04Speaker 1: All right, just saying yeah, there's your ma high hype.
- 16:08Speaker 1: I liked it.
- 16:08Speaker 2: That's pretty good, Jarony.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Katy and Josh six one hundred PPS Denver Public Schools,
- 16:15Speaker 3: biggest school district in the state.
- 16:17Speaker 4: Going back to class today.
- 16:19Speaker 3: So welcome back to all the kiddo's hanging out in
- 16:22Speaker 3: the carpool lanes and the.
- 16:23Speaker 4: Bus stops today. I have a great school year.
- 16:25Speaker 3: I was just reading a story about how DPS provides
- 16:29Speaker 3: or makes one hundred thousand meals each and every day.
- 16:33Speaker 4: Wow, it's like the biggest restaurant in the state.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Basically, can you imagine shout out to the lunch ladies
- 16:40Speaker 3: un you know, making all those pigs in a blanket.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Today one hundred thousand meals each and every day.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Favor yeo.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Yeah, So shout out to DPS kids going back. Had
- 16:52Speaker 3: had a pretty eventful weekend. I know, we want to
- 16:54Speaker 3: get into what Katie did in a little bit, because
- 16:56Speaker 3: she went out and eat a bunch of peaches this weekend.
- 17:01Speaker 3: I left the show on Friday. When did we get
- 17:05Speaker 3: out of here, guys, I don't know. Eleven Yeah, zip
- 17:08Speaker 3: right on out of here. And there's a car dealership
- 17:11Speaker 3: I like going to on my way home from time
- 17:14Speaker 3: to time, and I swung in just for the heck
- 17:17Speaker 3: of it, just to kind of poke around because I
- 17:19Speaker 3: had been toying with getting rid of my little Barbie
- 17:21Speaker 3: truck that I got one year ago that I absolutely hated,
- 17:24Speaker 3: hated hated.
- 17:25Speaker 4: It, mostly because my head kept hitting this ceiling.
- 17:29Speaker 3: I couldn't wear a ball cap in this little Barbie
- 17:31Speaker 3: truck because my head just don't thunk Colorado roads.
- 17:34Speaker 2: They're so bumpy. I was just so sick of this.
- 17:38Speaker 1: We didn't help either, Honestly.
- 17:42Speaker 3: I rolled into this dealership and about two hours later,
- 17:45Speaker 3: I rolled out with a new car. I'm like, I
- 17:48Speaker 3: was telling the sweet little sales lady that was helping me.
- 17:51Speaker 3: I was like, I was not expecting to do this
- 17:54Speaker 3: today at all.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Here we are.
- 17:57Speaker 3: But I went in there and they had basically what
- 17:59Speaker 3: I've been looking for, and they met me in all
- 18:04Speaker 3: the right places when it came to costs and everything,
- 18:06Speaker 3: and I was.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Like, well, why the hell not. I youruiser's exciting.
- 18:14Speaker 8: You know.
- 18:17Speaker 4: Year I had been looking for the ones with the
- 18:19Speaker 4: flames on the side.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Yes, it was there. It was there.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Uh so yeah, and I was. I was talking to
- 18:26Speaker 3: her about that, and she's like, you have no idea.
- 18:30Speaker 3: How many people come in and they're just browsing, wandering around,
- 18:34Speaker 3: killing time before a meeting. She's like, and then two
- 18:36Speaker 3: hours later they walk out with a car. She's like,
- 18:39Speaker 3: it happened so often. I was like, I had no idea,
- 18:42Speaker 3: but no, I just added to that stat.
- 18:44Speaker 4: But yeah, I'm back. I'm back in a bigger truck now.
- 18:47Speaker 2: For you. Life is good.
- 18:48Speaker 5: Also when you're like, you know, find something you like,
- 18:51Speaker 5: you want to, you know, jump on it.
- 18:54Speaker 4: That's the thing.
- 18:54Speaker 3: Like she pulled it around and because I saw it
- 18:58Speaker 3: on their website while I was there, because it was
- 19:00Speaker 3: on the lot and I.
- 19:00Speaker 4: Was like, Oh, where's this one. She's like, oh, let
- 19:02Speaker 4: me go grab it. I'll pull it around. And as
- 19:03Speaker 4: soon as she.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Did, I was more or less angel crat this today.
- 19:09Speaker 3: I did that, so pretty excited about that. And then
- 19:12Speaker 3: on Saturday we had our first experience with cross country.
- 19:18Speaker 3: So my son has ended his basketball career and now
- 19:21Speaker 3: he's hot and heavy into cross country here in high school,
- 19:25Speaker 3: and it was.
- 19:26Speaker 4: Our first ever.
- 19:27Speaker 3: I don't know what they ever called meat. I guess
- 19:30Speaker 3: they all meet meat and Josh. I don't know if
- 19:35Speaker 3: you've ever been to a cross country event like high
- 19:37Speaker 3: school and stuff, wildly different than sitting on the bleachers
- 19:42Speaker 3: watching your kid play basketball.
- 19:44Speaker 4: That nothing like it at all.
- 19:46Speaker 3: You stand around all morning bs with other parents. You're
- 19:50Speaker 3: out in the heat, and here's the thing, Like they
- 19:53Speaker 3: map out the course, okay, where the kids are supposed
- 19:55Speaker 3: to run. This one was just a quick two mile run,
- 19:58Speaker 3: so we went and walked it first of all, so
- 20:00Speaker 3: we knew.
- 20:01Speaker 4: Where they were going to be running.
- 20:02Speaker 3: And then when they start the race, you're standing there
- 20:05Speaker 3: at the starting line and paw, they fire the gun
- 20:07Speaker 3: and they all take off.
- 20:09Speaker 4: Then the parents all run them to the other.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Side to watch them run past them, and then they
- 20:14Speaker 3: all run to another portion and watch the kids past them,
- 20:18Speaker 3: and then they run to the finish line to watch
- 20:21Speaker 3: the kids come to.
- 20:21Speaker 2: The finish line.
- 20:23Speaker 4: The entire damn time, there's parents running everywhere.
- 20:26Speaker 6: It's it's a spectacle, man. That's That's all you can
- 20:29Speaker 6: explain it as it's a total spectacle.
- 20:31Speaker 4: Dude.
- 20:31Speaker 2: We had no idea.
- 20:33Speaker 3: I was like, I brought my folding chair. I was like, well,
- 20:36Speaker 3: I guess I'm just going to sit here and watch it.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Maybe in a track or bring.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Your hookahs, bring running shoes, dude.
- 20:43Speaker 3: Like luckily I had some running shoes on, but Nick
- 20:46Speaker 3: Knack and my daughter didn't.
- 20:48Speaker 4: Like bad day to wear flip flops. And yeah, so
- 20:51Speaker 4: the entire time we're running all over the place.
- 20:53Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Well and how early was your morning?
- 20:55Speaker 11: Right?
- 20:55Speaker 2: It's like a five am call? Oh yeah, like we
- 20:57Speaker 2: were up at five. We had to be at the
- 20:59Speaker 2: track at like I remember what it was six thirty
- 21:01Speaker 2: early mornings, dude, So you drive.
- 21:03Speaker 3: I will say it's beautiful because it's nice and cool.
- 21:06Speaker 3: You get the sunrise, the location we're up at thunder
- 21:10Speaker 3: Ridge High School.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Beautiful location. Yeah, that's that high School's got a view.
- 21:14Speaker 4: Man.
- 21:15Speaker 3: But I didn't know that I needed to eat my
- 21:17Speaker 3: protein and have a shake because I was gonna be
- 21:20Speaker 3: running roughly two miles.
- 21:21Speaker 2: You're cramping all yeah.
- 21:23Speaker 3: And then it's like I felt bad for the parents that, like,
- 21:26Speaker 3: you know, I don't want to be mean, but they
- 21:28Speaker 3: probably haven't run.
- 21:29Speaker 4: They probably haven't run in a long time.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Well, those are the finish line parents.
- 21:33Speaker 4: I was watching a few of them, like, yeah, are
- 21:39Speaker 4: the parents like running up and back and forth in there?
- 21:43Speaker 4: Come on, Jerry and the one guy's like, welcome toss.
- 21:49Speaker 1: But you're right, they have to be the smart parents
- 21:51Speaker 1: who just set up shop.
- 21:52Speaker 2: At the finish line.
- 21:53Speaker 4: You can tell you have done this time. See and
- 21:58Speaker 4: they're out there with their like.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Little golf car, that and by.
- 22:03Speaker 4: But it was a blast.
- 22:04Speaker 3: I will say I am a newbie to the world
- 22:05Speaker 3: of cross country, but I absolutely love it. I've never
- 22:08Speaker 3: seen a more close knit group of boys and parents already,
- 22:13Speaker 3: and they say that about cross country and runners in general.
- 22:16Speaker 4: Track all of them.
- 22:17Speaker 2: It becomes an incredibly close community. Yeah, because who runs
- 22:20Speaker 2: for fun?
- 22:22Speaker 3: And I think it's because we all stand around so
- 22:24Speaker 3: much that you just start talking everybody.
- 22:26Speaker 4: And you become best friends forever. So if you got
- 22:29Speaker 4: a kiddo exploring some high school sports, highly recommend cross
- 22:33Speaker 4: country and.
- 22:34Speaker 3: By yourself some new nikes because you're going to be
- 22:36Speaker 3: running two all right. Some more fun and games. Right
- 22:40Speaker 3: around nine o'clock today when we played Katie Crash, it's
- 22:43Speaker 3: our fun pop culture trivia game.
- 22:47Speaker 4: We got up for grabs with that.
- 22:50Speaker 12: Draft house tickets, oh yeah, snack pass passes.
- 22:54Speaker 3: All right, Just set those reminders on your smart speakers
- 22:56Speaker 3: and your phones to calling at nine o'clock.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Today, play Katie Crush.
- 23:01Speaker 3: We've had a funny little conversation side conversation going on
- 23:04Speaker 3: here in the studios.
- 23:07Speaker 2: About Jake Jabs.
- 23:11Speaker 1: That's pretty great, right, Well.
- 23:13Speaker 3: We're all wondering if he actually owns these animals, the
- 23:16Speaker 3: tigers and stuff he's out on the TV commercials over
- 23:18Speaker 3: the years.
- 23:19Speaker 6: Well, yeah, I think you can own adult tigers. You
- 23:21Speaker 6: can own the little ones breaking jazz.
- 23:24Speaker 1: And it was a different time back in the nineties.
- 23:27Speaker 5: But doesn't well, I know, but like back then when
- 23:31Speaker 5: he made them famous, I don't know if it was
- 23:34Speaker 5: as frowned upon to have big tigers in your household.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Is frowned upon. Now, well, I think it's awesome.
- 23:42Speaker 1: So I was out in uh on the Western Slope.
- 23:45Speaker 5: I was out at the peach Fest this weekend, and
- 23:47Speaker 5: Jake Jabs is a huge sponsor of the peach Fest.
- 23:50Speaker 5: He has been for years. American Furniture warehouse out there.
- 23:53Speaker 5: But somebody I was talking to, somebody who's not from
- 23:56Speaker 5: the area, and we got off on the conversation about
- 23:59Speaker 5: how and if you grew up in Colorado as a kid,
- 24:03Speaker 5: you wanted one of those big stuffed tigers that they
- 24:06Speaker 5: got if your parents bought a couch from American Furniture, right,
- 24:09Speaker 5: if you rolled in there with your parents.
- 24:11Speaker 4: They still do it.
- 24:12Speaker 2: I wanted the white tiger though.
- 24:14Speaker 4: They've got a whole white tigers.
- 24:16Speaker 5: They do, and they're like massive and as a child,
- 24:19Speaker 5: I know, baby not all she ever wanted, like she
- 24:22Speaker 5: can you go buy a couch from that place so
- 24:24Speaker 5: I can have the stuff tiger And so we were
- 24:27Speaker 5: discussing this with some people in the car who weren't
- 24:29Speaker 5: familiar with it, and they were so taken aback by
- 24:32Speaker 5: the fact that a furniture guy.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Had real tigers.
- 24:35Speaker 4: Made you want to buy the furniture.
- 24:36Speaker 2: It still does.
- 24:37Speaker 3: And then every time I'm in an Americans, they.
- 24:40Speaker 5: Were so offended by the fact that he used real
- 24:43Speaker 5: tigers to market his brand. And I was just like,
- 24:47Speaker 5: and then I can't tell you how many times I
- 24:49Speaker 5: said this past weekend, well what was a different time?
- 24:52Speaker 1: Like I said that so often?
- 24:55Speaker 2: Yeah, but why what's their beach?
- 24:56Speaker 3: Those are probably the best well cared for tigers I
- 25:00Speaker 3: know well.
- 25:00Speaker 5: And at one point the person got a little like
- 25:03Speaker 5: they were like, you know those tigers that they were medicated, and.
- 25:07Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't know.
- 25:11Speaker 3: So the Google box says that no, Jake Jabs did
- 25:15Speaker 3: not personally own the tigers. The big cats used by
- 25:18Speaker 3: the founder belonged to professional exotic animal trainers and handlers
- 25:25Speaker 3: who brought them in for his famous nineteen nineties television commercials.
- 25:28Speaker 4: Yea, so they were in store appearances.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Yeah, they just made it seem like they were his.
- 25:32Speaker 2: I mean, they were just well trained, they were very trucked.
- 25:35Speaker 2: He walked around like he owned tigers.
- 25:38Speaker 5: Like that's the vibe that Jake jab has given since
- 25:42Speaker 5: the beginning of time. Like so, I just like, I
- 25:45Speaker 5: can see why people would think he owns them, but yeah,
- 25:48Speaker 5: he just uses them for marketing.
- 25:50Speaker 3: It's an animal park owner pitched using big cats in
- 25:56Speaker 3: his TV ads and after seeing how much his staff
- 26:00Speaker 3: loved a visiting baby tiger cub, Jabs used them to
- 26:04Speaker 3: make his spots unforgettable.
- 26:07Speaker 1: And they're iconic now talking about him still, Oh.
- 26:10Speaker 5: My god, you think of Jake Jabs, you think of tigers.
- 26:13Speaker 4: Yes, you know, your friends are dumb.
- 26:17Speaker 1: They were just concerned, that's it.
- 26:21Speaker 4: They were just dumb friends.
- 26:24Speaker 5: If they were not familiar with it, they had no idea,
- 26:27Speaker 5: but they immediately.
- 26:28Speaker 4: Went to like the most horrible things.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Well, because that's what people do. That is what gen
- 26:34Speaker 2: zers do.
- 26:35Speaker 4: They do.
- 26:35Speaker 1: They get offended, like.
- 26:37Speaker 3: They're probably offends just called him dumb.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Don't be dumb people. People actually offended like they're really dumb.
- 26:45Speaker 4: That's really dumb.
- 26:47Speaker 2: I know, I know, I know.
- 26:53Speaker 9: It's times it's like Fast five ft five, How Fast.

- 28:11Speaker 5: who could name five fictional characters.
- 28:13Speaker 1: That use magic?
- 28:15Speaker 5: I believe, but you know a lot of Harry Potter
- 28:18Speaker 5: was going on with that answer.
- 28:20Speaker 4: But yeah, so much Harry Potter.
- 28:21Speaker 1: I ever know what you're gonna ask. Here me. It's

- 30:38Speaker 3: need five movies starring Bruce Willis.
- 30:42Speaker 9: Go.
- 30:44Speaker 11: Oh my gosh, I am so bad at pop culture.
- 30:47Speaker 11: I was hoping it would be a more intellectual one, but.
- 30:53Speaker 4: Okay, I'm sorry. Five elements on the periodic table. I'm
- 31:00Speaker 4: that's the next one. Darn it.
- 31:03Speaker 3: Well, Jody, it was nice talking to you. You have a

- 31:48Speaker 6: It was?
- 31:48Speaker 10: Okay?
- 31:49Speaker 1: Okay, just okay? Yeah. Do you see one love reality show?
- 31:53Speaker 1: You've seen them? All right? That's kind of what I
- 31:55Speaker 1: thought about that. Okay, so it's.
- 31:57Speaker 5: Nothing special, all right, thanks, Kelsey.
- 32:00Speaker 4: Yeah, how did it end?
- 32:05Speaker 11: It was okay. I'm not gonna spoil it.
- 32:08Speaker 1: You know better, Kelsey, I can do.
- 32:12Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 32:12Speaker 3: Well, yeah, don't spoil it because I might watch it.
- 32:17Speaker 3: M all right, Kelsey in ten seconds, no cheating, no help.

- 32:38Speaker 3: I blew that one that was really bad, like Richie
- 32:43Speaker 3: rich Is, like it's like in his name.
- 32:46Speaker 11: I mean, I just don't watch movies enough to really

- 33:20Speaker 11: of the house.

- 33:42Speaker 4: They're in my cart just waiting.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Do you have a track? Do you have a tragger?
- 33:47Speaker 4: I do have a tragger? Yeah?

- 33:51Speaker 3: man purchase I've ever made.
- 33:52Speaker 2: So never mind, you don't need that.
- 33:55Speaker 6: I do not know.

- 38:40Speaker 4: You're the only one high? Why Dave, good morning?
- 38:47Speaker 2: Hey, hey yourself.
- 38:49Speaker 4: This is probably the worst game of Fast five that
- 38:51Speaker 4: we've ever had. Dave, Oh no, yeah, I know.
- 38:55Speaker 2: I really make it better.
- 38:56Speaker 3: According to Katie, though, it's because it's a Monday.
- 39:00Speaker 1: Then people are just not feeling it.
- 39:02Speaker 3: People are I don't want people on the roads right now.
- 39:06Speaker 3: What'd you do this weekend, Dave?
- 39:10Speaker 11: I took my daughter to her back to school carnival.
- 39:13Speaker 6: And I'm a teacher too, so I just tried to
- 39:15Speaker 6: like he's impressed after the first week back.
- 39:17Speaker 4: Oh, I bet just kind of come down. So what
- 39:19Speaker 4: what do you teach?
- 39:21Speaker 11: I teach high school English, had.
- 39:23Speaker 3: A boy that was one of my most favorite classes.
- 39:26Speaker 3: It's fun, very good.
- 39:28Speaker 2: What's school?
- 39:30Speaker 10: Chatfield?
- 39:30Speaker 4: Oh okay, you've talked to you before?
- 39:33Speaker 2: Yeah, called in before you're down by me?
- 39:35Speaker 3: All right, buddy, all right, ten seconds. I need five
- 39:42Speaker 3: things sold in a roll, go.
- 39:46Speaker 11: Roll, toilet paper, paper, towel, roll up fla twine, yarn.
- 39:58Speaker 2: Dave, I gotta tell you about it.
- 40:00Speaker 1: And you just made him feel so much better.
- 40:02Speaker 4: You are our savior today, dad.
- 40:05Speaker 2: Yeah, all right.
- 40:07Speaker 4: Well it's not official yet. It just relaxed, dude.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Oh jeez, Now.
- 40:12Speaker 3: I know you've you've listened for a long time. You've
- 40:14Speaker 3: called a few times. Do you know what you're supposed
- 40:16Speaker 3: to say when you win?
- 40:17Speaker 4: Fast five?
- 40:18Speaker 8: I do?
- 40:19Speaker 11: Can I say it?
- 40:20Speaker 2: I wish you would? Jeremy, please play the WINNI win song.
- 40:30Speaker 3: Dave got her, Thank God, for Dave today. Oh my goodness, buddy,
- 40:36Speaker 3: you're gonna go have a heck of a time. You're
- 40:37Speaker 3: gonna go see Dave Matthews band at Fiddler's Green.
- 40:42Speaker 4: That'll be a fun little night out.
- 40:44Speaker 2: I know, right, I'm so excited.
- 40:47Speaker 4: I've seen him.
- 40:48Speaker 3: I've seen that band at Fiddlers and it is a
- 40:50Speaker 3: hell of a show.
- 40:51Speaker 4: So you're gonna have a really, really good time. So much, guys,
- 40:54Speaker 4: I really appreciate it.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Jeremy, Katy and Josh six one hundred.
- 41:00Speaker 4: Katie, you had a pretty epic weekend.
- 41:04Speaker 5: I'm so tired, so I am rolling off two hours
- 41:07Speaker 5: of sleep less.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Well I did, I know I did, But.
- 41:12Speaker 4: Man, so how is the Western Slope?
- 41:14Speaker 5: The Western Slopes great? I miss it so much every
- 41:16Speaker 5: time I go back. I'm just like thrown into nostalgia.
- 41:20Speaker 5: I love it over there, and I especially love it when.
- 41:22Speaker 1: It's peach season. Right.
- 41:25Speaker 5: The Peach Fest was this past weekend, and it really
- 41:28Speaker 5: was a lot of fun. Like they take over like
- 41:30Speaker 5: Palisade is where it's at if you're not familiar, the
- 41:33Speaker 5: famous Palisade peach that's where it's come comes from.
- 41:37Speaker 1: But they're big parks there.
- 41:38Speaker 5: They turn it into a big like farmer's market on steroids,
- 41:42Speaker 5: like they have everything, you can imagine everything, trust everything peach.
- 41:47Speaker 2: They're selling clothing that's peach themed.
- 41:50Speaker 5: They've got like animals out there who are dressed as peaches.
- 41:54Speaker 4: I saw did you dress as Princess Peach?
- 41:57Speaker 5: But there is a Peach princess, not to be confused
- 42:00Speaker 5: with the video game character, and a Peach queen. So
- 42:04Speaker 5: there's a lot of peach themed stuff going on. I
- 42:07Speaker 5: saw a peach eating contest, which is kind of gross
- 42:10Speaker 5: if you juices. Oh my gosh, and one guy ate
- 42:17Speaker 5: six peaches in a minute. If you could imagine what
- 42:20Speaker 5: that looks like.
- 42:23Speaker 1: I feel like he ate.
- 42:24Speaker 2: A pit somewhere down.
- 42:26Speaker 1: How did you eat all that so quick?
- 42:29Speaker 3: Some old guys out there, He's like, you know, and
- 42:30Speaker 3: you shwallow a peach pit, You're gonna grow a peach tree.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Exactly exactly.
- 42:34Speaker 5: But one of the funny so this year for peaches,
- 42:37Speaker 5: I mean, if you can think back, like our winter
- 42:40Speaker 5: was a little out of the ordinary, right, we didn't
- 42:43Speaker 5: necessarily get the typical Colorado snow filled winter that we
- 42:47Speaker 5: normally get, and that really affected the produce over there
- 42:51Speaker 5: on the western slope. So part of it was that
- 42:54Speaker 5: they had so many hot days. I mean, I was
- 42:56Speaker 5: talking to one of the peach farmers and he said
- 42:59Speaker 5: they had a string of like twenty straight days of
- 43:02Speaker 5: over one hundred and that is not good for the
- 43:05Speaker 5: produce over there. So from what I understand, it was
- 43:08Speaker 5: a bad year for the produce over on the Western Slope.
- 43:11Speaker 5: And there were a lot of people who weren't able to,
- 43:14Speaker 5: you know, provide the peaches that you expect, yeah, to
- 43:19Speaker 5: get your peach of five. I mean, because when you
- 43:21Speaker 5: think about the peaches, it's the big fat peaches, and
- 43:24Speaker 5: when you take their iconic they're so juicy that it
- 43:27Speaker 5: drips down your arm. This is how people describe Palisade peaches.
- 43:31Speaker 2: It's true.
- 43:32Speaker 3: Yeah, no, it has to have the Palisade marketing lady
- 43:35Speaker 3: come into the radio station each and every year with
- 43:37Speaker 3: a bushel. She'd bring us a bushel and we'd have
- 43:40Speaker 3: some on the air. And it was our engineer hated
- 43:42Speaker 3: it because we'd have peach juice all over the equipment.
- 43:44Speaker 4: Here, sure, what are you doing peaches in the studio?
- 43:48Speaker 5: Well, and I had friends who had never been to
- 43:50Speaker 5: the Peach Festival, and so they were looking forward to it.
- 43:53Speaker 5: But we got there and one of my friends had
- 43:55Speaker 5: a peach and it was not good.
- 43:58Speaker 1: It was hard.
- 43:59Speaker 5: It was not the typical Palisade peach that you would expect.
- 44:03Speaker 5: And we were talking to people who said because of
- 44:06Speaker 5: the weird weather, because it got so hot, the peach
- 44:09Speaker 5: trees blossomed like two to three weeks early, and then
- 44:12Speaker 5: we had a crazy freeze, so it wiped out a
- 44:15Speaker 5: good chunk of a lot of the produce. But the
- 44:18Speaker 5: stuff you don't want well, and the stuff that wasn't
- 44:20Speaker 5: wiped out, it was so small.
- 44:22Speaker 1: So that's the thing. If you get palisade.
- 44:24Speaker 5: Peaches this year, you'll notice, Number one, they are way
- 44:27Speaker 5: smaller than they typically are, and that is because they
- 44:31Speaker 5: weren't able to you know, the weather.
- 44:33Speaker 2: Paraberti of full maturity.
- 44:35Speaker 5: They didn't reach that big, big stage. But what it
- 44:38Speaker 5: did is like so it's because it's small. The sugars
- 44:41Speaker 5: are concentrated for some of them, so if you found
- 44:44Speaker 5: someone who is able to keep their peaches in order,
- 44:47Speaker 5: you were able to get the small peaches.
- 44:49Speaker 1: But they were full of sugar, so they were super
- 44:51Speaker 1: super sweet.
- 44:52Speaker 5: If you were able to find something now good enough
- 44:55Speaker 5: for me, I know a peach guy, Like, I lived
- 44:57Speaker 5: on a peach orchard. You guys know this, So I
- 44:59Speaker 5: went out to my peach guy, got some really good peach,
- 45:02Speaker 5: you know, produce some good peach options.
- 45:07Speaker 3: Somebody to take a shot every time you hear the
- 45:08Speaker 3: word peach during this conversation.
- 45:13Speaker 2: Shot peach was peach chest.
- 45:16Speaker 4: Okay, that's awesome.
- 45:18Speaker 1: Yeah, well I didn't, Okay.
- 45:21Speaker 5: So I was sitting at the chef demos out there
- 45:24Speaker 5: at the peach fest that they were talking about. You know,
- 45:26Speaker 5: people brag about that, like all the time I lived
- 45:29Speaker 5: over there, And that's one of the things you can
- 45:31Speaker 5: brag about the food because it is superior to the
- 45:34Speaker 5: food over here on the Western Slope, and it just is.
- 45:36Speaker 1: I'm sorry to tell.
- 45:37Speaker 5: You this, but the peaches are better over there because
- 45:40Speaker 5: because it gets so hot during the day and so
- 45:42Speaker 5: cool at night, it stresses the produce.
- 45:46Speaker 1: It's not only that, but it stresses them out.
- 45:48Speaker 5: Which makes them work harder, which makes them create more nutrients, which.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Makes it a better peach. It's a stressed peach.
- 45:56Speaker 2: Science better.
- 45:57Speaker 4: And this sounds like.
- 46:00Speaker 5: The grass also super stressed, right, Okay, grass even needs
- 46:05Speaker 5: to stress out to grow, so it has extreme nutrient volume.
- 46:09Speaker 1: In it as well.
- 46:10Speaker 5: So then when you have the cows and the pigs
- 46:12Speaker 5: and all the animals that eat the grass it has
- 46:13Speaker 5: the more nutrients, then their meat is super tasty too.
- 46:17Speaker 5: So now we got tasty cows, we got tasty picks.
- 46:19Speaker 2: It sounds like you're on grass, tasty grass.
- 46:22Speaker 4: I've been saying it all morning. Don't shook him out.
- 46:26Speaker 1: Now.
- 46:26Speaker 4: Where the cattle was? The cattle smaller this year too.
- 46:29Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 46:30Speaker 2: I don't know I was.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Around. I don't know if you want me going off
- 46:35Speaker 1: on a cow ran. It's okay. We made it this far.
- 46:37Speaker 5: On the peaches, I think you probably just want me
- 46:40Speaker 5: to curb it here.
- 46:41Speaker 2: Honestly.
- 46:41Speaker 6: You brought peach donuts and they look really good, really good.
- 46:44Speaker 2: I'm excited to try one.
- 46:45Speaker 1: I also bought a peach cobbler.
- 46:48Speaker 4: Peach cobbler, which is the one that you said had
- 46:50Speaker 4: the hole in it.
- 46:52Speaker 5: I know, uh donuts, Okay, that's all right. Rising of
- 46:55Speaker 5: the peach cobbler. I got it from the Marching Band,
- 46:58Speaker 5: and it just felt bad because I wanted to help
- 46:59Speaker 5: send them to State.
- 47:01Speaker 4: I don't know about that beach.
- 47:06Speaker 2: Poisoning we were talking about.
- 47:08Speaker 3: You last week because this is the event where you
- 47:10Speaker 3: were going to go stay at the AIRBNBA. It was
- 47:13Speaker 3: two couples and then Katie truly like the fifth wheel,
- 47:17Speaker 3: I know, and they were we were talking about like
- 47:19Speaker 3: how you were going to pay and all that.
- 47:20Speaker 4: How did it play out?
- 47:21Speaker 5: It was we split it between the five of us,
- 47:24Speaker 5: so that was nice.
- 47:26Speaker 2: They hear the show, I didn't.
- 47:28Speaker 5: I think one of them might have actually good and
- 47:32Speaker 5: so yeah, that was kind of brought to my attention
- 47:36Speaker 5: that they were going to do that, so I kind
- 47:38Speaker 5: of figured that maybe somebody.
- 47:39Speaker 1: Did hear it. That's fantasic, kind of a big deal about.
- 47:42Speaker 2: But you know, again, just save you some cash.
- 47:44Speaker 1: It did save me some cash.
- 47:45Speaker 4: How did the gas work?
- 47:46Speaker 1: The gas was fine.
- 47:47Speaker 5: I rode over with them, so we were, you know,
- 47:50Speaker 5: tag team in that as well as far as who
- 47:52Speaker 5: would pay for what because gas be expensive right now,
- 47:55Speaker 5: and even driving like we were helping driving. I was
- 47:58Speaker 5: driving a lot while we were in town since I
- 48:00Speaker 5: was familiar with everything and knew where to go.
- 48:03Speaker 1: So yeah, I think everything worked out pretty well.
- 48:05Speaker 5: But I was anticipating it because two of the people
- 48:10Speaker 5: who were showing up I'd never met, so Julia and Matt,
- 48:14Speaker 5: What up my new homies. I'd never met them, so
- 48:18Speaker 5: coming in that was gonna be something I was anticipating.
- 48:21Speaker 5: But my friend Amy was telling me that Julia specifically,
- 48:25Speaker 5: now you know, she's Matt and Brendan were the two
- 48:28Speaker 5: guys who were there, and so they were kind of
- 48:29Speaker 5: hanging out. But Julia, I was told specifically, is like
- 48:33Speaker 5: one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. So I
- 48:36Speaker 5: was really excited to meet Julia because from what I understood,
- 48:39Speaker 5: she was like a.
- 48:40Speaker 1: Ray of sunshine.
- 48:41Speaker 5: Right, And so Julia and Matt show up, and they
- 48:44Speaker 5: couldn't have had a better description for Julia.
- 48:46Speaker 1: I mean, she was just.
- 48:47Speaker 5: Such a nice person, easy to get along to, super funny,
- 48:51Speaker 5: very very likable.
- 48:52Speaker 2: And her fiance Matt, also the same.
- 48:55Speaker 1: Right. So we did all this fun stuff.
- 48:56Speaker 5: We went to Peachfest, we went to all the restaurants
- 48:59Speaker 5: together and we just had the best time. And they're
- 49:01Speaker 5: a little younger than me, so I was trying to
- 49:04Speaker 5: not really impress them, but I was just trying to
- 49:06Speaker 5: hang right, be one of the crew.
- 49:09Speaker 1: And I really thought I was doing it. I was like,
- 49:11Speaker 1: oh my gosh, I'm making friends. This is great. We're
- 49:14Speaker 1: having a great time.
- 49:16Speaker 5: And then the last day, okay, the last day, we're
- 49:20Speaker 5: all packing everything up and Julia comes into my bedroom
- 49:23Speaker 5: and she was just like, this was so much fun.
- 49:25Speaker 5: This is really just like a really good vacation. I'm
- 49:27Speaker 5: glad that we all got to hang out.
- 49:28Speaker 1: And da da da da da.
- 49:30Speaker 5: She's like, hey, did you happen to see my pink toothbrush.
- 49:35Speaker 1: I was just like, no, I don't know what you mean.
- 49:39Speaker 1: And she's like, yeah, I had a pink, pink toothbrush.
- 49:42Speaker 5: I left it in the bathroom and she's like, I
- 49:44Speaker 5: went for it last night and I couldn't find it,
- 49:46Speaker 5: and I was just wondering if maybe somebody knocked it.
- 49:49Speaker 1: Off the counter. One.
- 49:50Speaker 5: I was just like, huh, I haven't seen, but it's funny.
- 49:55Speaker 5: I also have a pink toothbrush, because you know, you
- 49:59Speaker 5: don't have your regular toothbrush, you have the travel toothbrush.
- 50:03Speaker 1: So I'm not familiar with even I'm not used to
- 50:05Speaker 1: my toothbrush.
- 50:06Speaker 5: Right.
- 50:07Speaker 12: So I was doing so good and then I found
- 50:16Speaker 12: out that the last night I went to bed before
- 50:19Speaker 12: everybody because I go I wake up early and I'm
- 50:22Speaker 12: just in the cycle, right, So I say good night
- 50:24Speaker 12: to everybody Saturday night, and I must have just grabbed
- 50:28Speaker 12: her toothbrush off with the counter toothbrushes somebody.
- 50:33Speaker 1: I just met. I used her toothbrush, and I mean I.
- 50:37Speaker 8: Went because I ate a lot of peaches.
- 50:41Speaker 2: Really, brush my teeth is basically kids.
- 50:45Speaker 4: Kids.
- 50:45Speaker 1: I ate a lot of peach based stuff.
- 50:47Speaker 5: The funniest part was trying to because I was like
- 50:50Speaker 5: completely convinced I had not stolen.
- 50:52Speaker 8: This, and so then I had to like really collect
- 50:59Speaker 8: my stuff, like collect myself, and I was like, Julia,
- 51:04Speaker 8: I'm so sorry.
- 51:05Speaker 5: I don't know if I took your toothbrush. All I
- 51:07Speaker 5: know is I also have a pink toothbrush.
- 51:09Speaker 1: So then I I tugged through my stuff.
- 51:12Speaker 2: I was gonna say, where was Yours was.
- 51:14Speaker 5: In the very bottom of my makeup bag, in a
- 51:18Speaker 5: bag underneath everything, so I didn't I didn't see. I
- 51:23Speaker 5: did not notice that I had used somebody else's toothbrush.
- 51:26Speaker 4: I can't a bottle of coura.
- 51:33Speaker 5: So not only did I use it that night, I
- 51:36Speaker 5: woke up the next morning.
- 51:37Speaker 4: And brush my teeth again.
- 51:39Speaker 5: So twice I used her too, And then once I
- 51:42Speaker 5: figured it out, I gave it.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Back like she's gonna use that tooth, right?
- 51:48Speaker 2: Did she take it?
- 51:49Speaker 1: She did, but I think she just did it to
- 51:50Speaker 1: be nice.
- 51:51Speaker 2: I think she was.
- 51:54Speaker 1: We all had a really good laugh about it. But
- 51:56Speaker 1: I mean, you know, she went home and told her
- 51:59Speaker 1: fiance is.
- 52:00Speaker 2: An idiot, like that is damn funny. That's so good.
- 52:10Speaker 4: Those teeth hell.
- 52:15Speaker 1: Like that's all And so yeah, it was.
- 52:17Speaker 5: It was fun to hug her goodbye and say I'm
- 52:20Speaker 5: sorry I used your tooth breath you breath breath smell exactly.
- 52:25Speaker 3: We pretty much so since you had two couples with
- 52:29Speaker 3: you at the Airbnb. Who a side note off the
- 52:32Speaker 3: air you were talking about how madly in love they
- 52:33Speaker 3: all are.
- 52:34Speaker 2: Oh yeah, did you like.
- 52:36Speaker 1: They all are?
- 52:36Speaker 3: Because the Airbnb out of town?
- 52:39Speaker 4: Did you hear anything?
- 52:40Speaker 1: Hear anything? But no, there was a lot of PDA though.
- 52:45Speaker 5: But I was happy for them, you know what I mean,
- 52:47Speaker 5: because it's like they like each other that much that
- 52:50Speaker 5: they can't keep their hands off each other.
- 52:52Speaker 2: Even it doesn't make me a fan of the I
- 52:56Speaker 2: don't like it either.
- 52:58Speaker 5: And I get it though, but I I'm just happy
- 53:02Speaker 5: for them and it doesn't bother me because like I
- 53:05Speaker 5: can walk away right like That's what I always think, Like,
- 53:08Speaker 5: if something like that bothers me, I can just walk
- 53:10Speaker 5: away from it.
- 53:11Speaker 3: What if you're like sitting in an applebe isn't there
- 53:13Speaker 3: directly across from me at the booth.
- 53:14Speaker 4: And you get to watch it the whole time?
- 53:16Speaker 1: A little more gooth than that.
- 53:18Speaker 3: When you're out and about you see the people just
- 53:20Speaker 3: going to town on each other, and you're like, although,
- 53:23Speaker 3: you know, I've been married forever.
- 53:24Speaker 4: So I don't know. Maybe if I had new love,
- 53:26Speaker 4: i'd be like that too.
- 53:27Speaker 1: This new couple who couldn't keep their hands off each other.
- 53:30Speaker 5: They were both kind of in relationships previously where things
- 53:33Speaker 5: had fizzled out, and yeah, they're back at it exactly
- 53:37Speaker 5: a new thing for them.
- 53:39Speaker 4: They're brushing each other's teeth with the.
- 53:42Speaker 1: Yes, exactly so.
- 53:43Speaker 2: But it was a fun weekend.
- 53:44Speaker 1: It was definitely a good weekend.
- 53:46Speaker 5: I made some new friends and I really made a
- 53:48Speaker 5: new friend.
- 53:48Speaker 4: And Julia, that's fantastic. All right. So, speaking of music, Katie.
- 53:55Speaker 1: It mistake.
- 53:59Speaker 4: This is so happy. This made me so happy this morning.
- 54:03Speaker 3: So funny because you rushed back from Palisade, right, yeah,
- 54:08Speaker 3: like you zipped in yesterday.
- 54:11Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, just because.
- 54:12Speaker 4: You want to go to a concert.
- 54:13Speaker 5: Right, Oh, I've been looking forward to that Good Charlotte concert. Yeah, yeah,
- 54:17Speaker 5: it was Avenged Sevenfold and Good Charlotte. But I was
- 54:20Speaker 5: really just looking forward to seeing Good Charlotte. I mean
- 54:23Speaker 5: I listened to that self titled album multiple.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Times a week.
- 54:27Speaker 5: I mean that's the ones I listened to on my
- 54:29Speaker 5: run and walks, and so I am just consumed with
- 54:32Speaker 5: their music. So they were at Ball Arena, and I've
- 54:35Speaker 5: been looking forward to this show pretty much since I
- 54:37Speaker 5: heard it announced. So yeah, my plan was to make
- 54:41Speaker 5: it back from the Western Slope in time to see
- 54:44Speaker 5: this show was supposed to start at seven o'clock at
- 54:46Speaker 5: Ball Arena, right, and again it had an opening act,
- 54:49Speaker 5: so I thought, opening act starts at seven o'clock.
- 54:54Speaker 1: Right, They're gonna go for an hour and some change.
- 54:56Speaker 2: Sure, that's usually how it goes.
- 54:57Speaker 4: And the.
- 55:00Speaker 5: Everybody's out getting their drinks, and I'm thinking by nine o'clock,
- 55:04Speaker 5: Good Charlotte's gonna take the stage.
- 55:06Speaker 1: They'll be on till ten thirty eleven, and it'll be.
- 55:09Speaker 5: The best show ever and I'm gonna have the time
- 55:10Speaker 5: of my life and I'm gonna be tired today. But
- 55:13Speaker 5: it'll be fine because I got to see Good Charlotte.
- 55:16Speaker 5: Well that is not what happened.
- 55:18Speaker 2: What happened.
- 55:19Speaker 5: I show up to ball Arena at like eight forty five,
- 55:23Speaker 5: and I'm like, I'm early.
- 55:25Speaker 1: This is perfect.
- 55:26Speaker 5: And I park and I go into the building and
- 55:30Speaker 5: I see all these people in the concourse and they
- 55:33Speaker 5: have the Avenge sevenfold shirts on. So I'm like, oh, well,
- 55:36Speaker 5: they're not staying there, They're gonna dip whatever.
- 55:39Speaker 2: It's fine. I'm here for Good Charlotte.
- 55:41Speaker 5: That just means I could maybe move down even further
- 55:44Speaker 5: into the concert and be even closer to one of
- 55:46Speaker 5: my favorite acts. So I get up to where I'm
- 55:50Speaker 5: supposed to be and I'm actually in a suite, right,
- 55:53Speaker 5: And so I get in there and I open the door.
- 55:56Speaker 1: And there's nobody in there.
- 55:58Speaker 4: Hey everywhere.
- 55:59Speaker 5: Well no, I'm excited because I'm like, I get the
- 56:01Speaker 5: whole suite to myself.
- 56:03Speaker 4: That's a good feeling.
- 56:04Speaker 1: This is this the best.
- 56:06Speaker 4: We get those tickets and we are in there early
- 56:08Speaker 4: and get to enjoy it for like, you know, half
- 56:10Speaker 4: an hour before anyone else. It's a good feeling.
- 56:12Speaker 1: That's when you do all.
- 56:13Speaker 5: Your videos, you take pictures, you are loving life. But
- 56:16Speaker 5: it's funny because as I'm rolling into the suite, I
- 56:20Speaker 5: noticed that Good Charlotte has already taken the stage, and
- 56:22Speaker 5: I was like, oh, I'm glad I didn't miss so much.
- 56:25Speaker 1: And they're playing Lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous,
- 56:27Speaker 1: which is one of their.
- 56:29Speaker 5: The biggest song, Yeah, biggest song, arguably their biggest song,
- 56:32Speaker 5: and I'm like, oh, they opened with it.
- 56:33Speaker 1: Well, that's a nice little twist, isn't. It's not.
- 56:39Speaker 12: They're like, good night everybody, and their big Good Charlotte
- 56:45Speaker 12: brand goes up on the screen. All the lights come on,
- 56:49Speaker 12: and I was like, hey, wait, what happen?
- 56:54Speaker 1: I could not believe it.
- 56:56Speaker 5: The show was done at nine o'clock and I still
- 57:00Speaker 5: don't know how that happened.
- 57:02Speaker 3: First of all, that's hilarious, it's not. You didn't notice
- 57:05Speaker 3: that the parking lot was like full. No people were leaving, nobody.
- 57:09Speaker 4: Was in line, people were walking in the other direction,
- 57:12Speaker 4: and you're like.
- 57:12Speaker 1: Dude, doe. When they scanned my ticket, they.
- 57:15Speaker 4: Were like, Hi, you didn't notice any of none of it.
- 57:20Speaker 1: None of it.
- 57:21Speaker 4: I at nine.
- 57:21Speaker 5: O'clock at night, I am so in my own zone.
- 57:24Speaker 5: It's eight forty five let's get up to that. I'm
- 57:26Speaker 5: going to be like, you know, let's get maybe some
- 57:29Speaker 5: popcorn before I take my seat.
- 57:31Speaker 4: And you got in there wrapping up.
- 57:33Speaker 1: Good night everybody.
- 57:34Speaker 3: And note she had slammed a giant energy drink, so
- 57:38Speaker 3: she has had a silwear concert.
- 57:40Speaker 4: So then you didn't sleep.
- 57:41Speaker 2: I didn't sleep.
- 57:41Speaker 5: I didn't go to bed until like one thirty because
- 57:44Speaker 5: I slammed a big energy drink so I could rock
- 57:47Speaker 5: out at a good Charlotte concert.
- 57:50Speaker 3: Oh a second observation, that's awesome. That is the way
- 57:55Speaker 3: concerts should be.
- 57:56Speaker 4: Yes, like you started seven, you're done by nine on
- 57:59Speaker 4: the you can leave early at eight forty five. Beat traffic, no, Norman, fantastic.
- 58:04Speaker 5: I would be right there with you, Jeremy, if I
- 58:07Speaker 5: had not missed my concert because of that.
- 58:10Speaker 3: I can't believe that you didn't notice everybody was leaving
- 58:13Speaker 3: and the parking lot was there.
- 58:15Speaker 4: Was there, hadn't even people leaving.
- 58:17Speaker 5: When have you ever been to a concert at ball
- 58:19Speaker 5: Arena that ends at not? Honestly, I have never never
- 58:23Speaker 5: so shocked still by this news.
- 58:26Speaker 2: It is weird. It is weird. It's good for me.
- 58:31Speaker 1: Your girls tired, Thanks for hanging.
- 58:34Speaker 4: Out with Jeremy Katy and Josh Here mix.
- 58:36Speaker 3: I shied the check a little bit of sportch.
- 58:43Speaker 4: Okay, sportches okay.
- 58:45Speaker 3: So Pizza Hut is getting on board with the football
- 58:48Speaker 3: season foots ball. They're temporarily dropping pizza from their name
- 58:54Speaker 3: and going by HUT.
- 58:58Speaker 2: Get it.
- 58:58Speaker 3: I like HUT change is gonna last about twenty five
- 59:02Speaker 3: weeks covering the twenty twenty six football season, and some
- 59:06Speaker 3: locations will actually featured altered signage, like they're going outside
- 59:10Speaker 3: and putting a tarp over pizza, so all you see
- 59:13Speaker 3: is when you go by.
- 59:14Speaker 6: Do you remember when Levi's did that for the whole
- 59:17Speaker 6: huge football tournament that just happened, the World Cup, because
- 59:20Speaker 6: they couldn't have their logo on it, and so they
- 59:22Speaker 6: went and did the whole thing and that went viral.
- 59:24Speaker 2: So maybe this will help them go viral. Yeah, you
- 59:26Speaker 2: know what did do? They covered the vice, covered their
- 59:29Speaker 2: whole logo tarp.
- 59:31Speaker 6: Soccer games were held at Levi's stadium and you weren't
- 59:34Speaker 6: allowed to have your logo for the World Cup, like
- 59:36Speaker 6: the stadiums could not have their logo there like at
- 59:38Speaker 6: and T the logo. So Levi's the teen brand put
- 59:41Speaker 6: a cover over their logo, went crazyness a little different.
- 59:44Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a little bit different. Pizza do the same thing.
- 59:46Speaker 1: Maybe that's it. They'll put a tarpo open.
- 59:49Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, I guess that's the same.
- 59:52Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 59:53Speaker 2: You hated it, you hate it?
- 59:55Speaker 4: I was making okay, yeah, very different.
- 59:59Speaker 1: Completely pointed you.
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: Honestly, the first thing I'm like, I'm like, am I
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: wearing Levi's jeans?
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: Why is everybody met at Levi's right now?
- 1:00:07Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: No, they're great comfortable.
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: What kind of pants you got on today?
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: I actually are they wranglers?
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: American Eagle?
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: But everybody's mad at American Eagles.
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: Yeah anyway, so yeah, well no, well that's why we.
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: Don't do a lot of sports. Uh sports here in Denver.
- 1:00:33Speaker 9: We've got receipts, We've got drummers, we've got Denver Tking.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: It's the mile High Hike.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: Where the JKJ legends icon on one hundred.
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: Well, let's talk about all the big happenings of the day.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: There's this story out this morning that just kind of
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: had me shaking my head because it's another one of
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: those only fans story where a I guess we can
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: call her a celebrity has joined only fans in the
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: amount of money she's bringing in is absolutely nutty. So
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: it's Pumpkin, daughter of Mama June and sister of Honey
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: Boo Boo. Pumpkin is on only fans.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: Katie's like, oh, yeah, Pumpkin is famous.
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: Yeah, really, yes enough, her whole family is famous in
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: some right of their own.
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: Okay, I'll take your word for it.
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: Well, somebody likes Pumpkin because she's making fifteen thousand dollars
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: per day on the only fans.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Well, Pumpkin's getting it like that.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: She apparently she's getting it all. What a day a day?
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: Whatever? What's she show? Is she like Naked Time.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: Or you've got the story over there.
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: I don't want to look.
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: At it up.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: I don't want to look at her.
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: I'll go home.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: I'll do the research.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: I don't want to.
- 1:01:49Speaker 7: Look up Pumpkin, Josh than you do.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: Her favorite foods are scady and butter.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: I'm only six and I've already had three heart attacks.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: Girlfriend, technically.
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: Pumpkin, Well, good for Pumpkin. Fifteen grand a day, all right,
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: I gotta get out of the oldie fans. Do the guys,
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: do the dudes do okay on there?
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: You know, fortuitous for men to be on there.
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: As it is solid words.
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm sorry, Woy.
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: You talked for years about the oversaturation of Dolly Parton.
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: Well, here we go. There's a few more things.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: I guess.
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: The Dolly Parton avatar is in the works.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: She and her team are.
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: Working with companies who create avatar performances and it's in
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: the early stages, but they're gonna have a Dolly Parton
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: avatar popping up at concerts or probably in her little
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: dolly Land Dollywood. Yeah, dolly Land, Yeah, yeah, I think
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: is cute. That would be pretty good. Like you're walking
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: in the door and she's.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: Like, hey, y'all, welcome to Dolly. Please exactly how it's
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: gonna go?
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: Wood would to go to Dollywood. I've heard Dollywood is charming,
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: though I heard so too.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: The food I understand is it's money.
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: She also has a new hotel next month in downtown
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: downtown Nashville called the song Teller Hotel. She's got a
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: museum opening up called Life of Many Colors, and a
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: whole new line of dog.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: Treats in the works with Purina.
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: Dolly parton dog treats.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: It's her heart.
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: What else is going on that?
- 1:03:31Speaker 5: I know you hate the bear news, but well it's
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: just been so much. It's been so much, and it
- 1:03:35Speaker 5: keeps going. I mean, over the weekend there was actually
- 1:03:40Speaker 5: this was yesterday morning, they found a bear in a
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: tree in Denver, and Colorado Parks and Wildlife had to
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: come in and get it out of the tree. And
- 1:03:47Speaker 5: there's video of this bear just falling out of the
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: tree into exactly but I mean, it's like they had
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: to make sure that he was okay to be moved,
- 1:03:57Speaker 5: and they moved him somewhere a little bit safer for him.
- 1:04:00Speaker 5: But is this happening more and more? Of course, it's
- 1:04:02Speaker 5: the drought, historic drought that's decimated the bear's natural food sources,
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: so it's driving them into these populated areas like Denver.
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: But the other big story is there were four recent
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: attacks in just the last week in Colorado. So one
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: in Veil, one in Steamboat Springs, one in Aspen, and
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: one in Jefferson County here by the South Platte River,
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: where a female bear attacked and bit the legs of
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: an angler walking by to a nearby parking lot. So
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: this is just out of the ordinary. And I know again,
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: like we said, Jeremy, we've been talking a lot about
- 1:04:37Speaker 5: bears during the mile.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: High High, but it's because they are everywhere.
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: All I said, we're the number one morning show in
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: town when it comes to Bear News, so you.
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: Don't keep at it. Yeah, I'm doing a news promos easy.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: The number one station in Bear News makes one hundred.
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: I'm a bear.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: We are gonna deliver, all right, we deliver. We're also
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: number one in cats?
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: Was the case?
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: Are wondering the third.
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: Annual park Kill Cat Tour coming up on Sunday?
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Who knew they needed sessions?
- 1:05:07Speaker 5: I guess that probably makes sense because the cats can
- 1:05:10Speaker 5: only be entertaining for so long. But what it is
- 1:05:13Speaker 5: is cat lovers get to stroll through park Hill and
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: admire the local felines that are lounging in the windows,
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: just showing on the porches, or riding along in pet strollers,
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: all of these things.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: Cat lovers love. Number one show for cat lovers years.
- 1:05:31Speaker 5: For three years they've been able to do the annual
- 1:05:33Speaker 5: Park Killed Cat Tour. But I just like when I
- 1:05:37Speaker 5: hear about things that involve cats, immediately you're like, how
- 1:05:41Speaker 5: do you get them to do that, right?
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: How do you get them.
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: To put on a show for people? Because they barely listen.
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: But this makes a lot more sense. They're just hanging
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: out the windows.
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: They're not really putting on a show. Lay there like cats.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: But this is really you know, they're leaning into the
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: cat life. I've seen cat show where.
- 1:06:00Speaker 5: They expect them to get us on the stage and
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: do stuff, and they.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: Just lay there. What did you expect their cats? This
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: is the third annual park Hill Cat.
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: Tour, cat Tour that's coming up on Sunday. Why do
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: I feel like.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: The people lick each other to cats? Cleaning my phone?
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: So you've heard of it.
- 1:06:19Speaker 9: She's got the mic, the moxie, and a brain full
- 1:06:22Speaker 9: of Doctor Philery runs.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: She's on me like a duck on a june bug.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: But can you take down Katie?
- 1:06:28Speaker 11: In pop culture? SmackDown? Is Katie Crush?
- 1:06:32Speaker 9: All right?
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: Funny talking guy, are we ready to play?
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: Let's go?
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: Hi?
- 1:06:37Speaker 11: Anne, good morning, Well, good morning to you.
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: Tell us all about yourself?
- 1:06:45Speaker 11: Oh well, today I'm kind of off work.
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: It's the first day of school for my little one,
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: but he actually starts tomorrow, so.
- 1:06:53Speaker 9: We dropped off coffee to his old daycare.
- 1:06:56Speaker 11: Now we're just gonna hang out.
- 1:06:58Speaker 5: That's nice of you with the little one.
- 1:07:01Speaker 13: Yeah, mostly some screen time.
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: Some working, some what's your job? What do you do?
- 1:07:09Speaker 11: I work in the oil and gas industry.
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: Yeah, pretty fun.
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: Yeah, you must make millions of dollars I wish. All right,
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: I'm gonna give you and Katie the same five pop
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: culture trivia questions.
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: Best out of five wins. Ties go to Katie. Anything
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: you want to say to Anne, No, just good luck.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Bring it. Make sure you do your best. And I hope,
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: I hope.
- 1:07:38Speaker 13: I'm so excited.
- 1:07:39Speaker 4: I listen every day and I'm like, oh, I gotta
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: do this one time, as we.
- 1:07:46Speaker 13: Call it, came to play, No, I guess yeah, you
- 1:07:55Speaker 13: would rather Bessie.
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: All right, Katie's going to leave the student.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: I come up with a question, so.
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: There's no cheating.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: We'll find out if you're right or wrong with these
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: once we bring her back.
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: In the studio. So perfectly. Okay, she's in there, she's hiding.
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: Okay, sweet Oily, And here's your first question.
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: Uh, the most played commercial board game in the world is.
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: What so for a commercial commercially sold.
- 1:08:31Speaker 11: I'm gonna say, scrabble.
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: Scrabbling. Alright.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: Your second question, which chocolate bar wanted people to quote?
- 1:08:46Speaker 4: Break me off a piece of that?
- 1:08:49Speaker 10: Okay, cat Bar, Okay, Yeah, I.
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: Didn't want to sing it, so that was a little
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: awkward for me.
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: All right, here is your third question. What does in
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: the world of entertainment?
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: What does BBC stand for? Like the BBC channel?
- 1:09:07Speaker 11: I know this the channel.
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like, yeah, it's part of.
- 1:09:11Speaker 5: It, British Broadcasting.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: Company.
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: All right, and your fourth question right now, currently the
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: most streamed movie in the United States is what on streaming.
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: I'll even give you right now.
- 1:09:34Speaker 4: I'll give you a hint. It's on Prime.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: All over the.
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: Instance streaming right now, right now on Prime.
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: And I'll give you one more clue.
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: I am very happy about it because I'm a nerd dork.
- 1:10:00Speaker 11: Oh the Spider the New spider Man.
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: Spider Man, Spider Man. Okay, here's your final question. What's
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: the name of Amazon's digital book reader.
- 1:10:12Speaker 9: Kindle?
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: All right, let's bring a goofball back and let me
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: add up.
- 1:10:17Speaker 4: Although, yeah, we're gonna have to discuss.
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: About one of these. But Hi, Katie, Hi, hey only
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: going we missed you.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: I knew it.
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: All right, what do we have for you, Katie? Are
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: you ready?
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: Please tell me the most played commercially sold board game
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: in the world.
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: What's the board game?
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: Like, the most popular board game.
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I gotta throw in commercially in there or somebody's
- 1:10:49Speaker 3: gonna come at me. I don't even know because I
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: looked it up Candy land Candy land An said scrabble.
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: So it's really now if you're looking up, the most
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: played board game in the world is Chess, but the
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: commercially one is Monopoly.
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: So that's why I had to throw that in there.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: It's trying to confuse people this morning.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: Everyone's like nobody cares.
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: All right, which chocolate bar wanted people to quote break
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: me off a piece of that.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Gig Cat Far.
- 1:11:25Speaker 10: And said that too.
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: We all sing it together.
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: You have to write break me off a piece of
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: that gig Cat Far.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: God, They're so good.
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: I'm a monster though. I don't snap them.
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: I just bite them.
- 1:11:41Speaker 4: I don't snap each individual stick off.
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: I'll just bite it like a regular candy.
- 1:11:44Speaker 5: I snap them, but then I take all the chocolate
- 1:11:47Speaker 5: off each individual piece and I leave one little wafer.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: You just leave this slimy wafer one you're.
- 1:11:53Speaker 4: A slimy way.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: I take a step further.
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: Do you do that?
- 1:11:59Speaker 6: Also?
- 1:12:01Speaker 11: I did when I was younger. I would leave him
- 1:12:02Speaker 11: out like at the pool, so they would melt and
- 1:12:05Speaker 11: come apart really easily.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: And then the wafers the best part, right and.
- 1:12:10Speaker 6: Good?
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: All right, Katie.
- 1:12:11Speaker 4: In the world of entertainment, what does BBC stand for?
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: Like the channel BBC Big beautiful, big booty.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: No, big beautiful channel.
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: Okay, so ann and said British Broadcasting Company. But it's
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: British Broadcasting Corporation.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: You were asking. Ask me again, Ask me again.
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: I'm trying to say, I don't know. You got it
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: wrong for sure, that's you.
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: I'm trying to decide if I'm going to allow company
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: in place of corporation, and I don't.
- 1:12:48Speaker 13: Give to company.
- 1:12:50Speaker 3: Company is corporation, Yeah, but you can't. It's British Broadcasting Corporation.
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: It's not. So I'm sorry.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: No, yeah, see then it's both. But i'd say no,
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: I'm not going to give it your point seventy point.
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: I'm in charge of the point.
- 1:13:09Speaker 11: Oh no, you go hear me on a bad day.
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: Yeah you did. I'm it's it's corporation.
- 1:13:16Speaker 4: Company for God's sake.
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: Okay, your fourth question, oh, this makes me happy. The
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: most streamed movie in the United States right now is what?
- 1:13:25Speaker 4: And I'll tell you Katie this.
- 1:13:26Speaker 3: I'm on Prime and it makes me personally very happy
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: because I'm a big dork.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: Is your he Man movie the number one stream movie
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: right now?
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: Yeah, answered Spider Man.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: Oh that does make you happy? You know that makes
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: me happy.
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: More than a billion minutes have been streamed. It's like
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: it's thousands a day.
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: So give me your best man.
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: No, no, why, I don't know.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: What does he Man say?
- 1:13:56Speaker 4: I have the power? The power?
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: Okay, I'm a door, Katie.
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: What's the name of Amazon's digital book reader?
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: Amazon is the Kindle? Right?
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: And and that's what you said.
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: Yes, Oh Katie got three and you only got two today,
- 1:14:20Speaker 3: so you've officially been crushed.
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: Can do it?
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: In your gray skull voice?
- 1:14:27Speaker 5: No, no, no, no, do it?
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: And I got two things to say. One, I usually
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: hand out the prize when I'm in a really good mood. Yeah,
- 1:14:44Speaker 3: And contrary to what you said, Anne, I'm in a
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: very good mood today.
- 1:14:47Speaker 4: I'm in a really good mood.
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: And two, thinking about Katie eating that kid cap sucking
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: all the chocolate off and leaving the wafer grossed me
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: out so much that I can't let her have the prize.
- 1:15:00Speaker 4: So I'm gonna go ahead and give you the prize.
- 1:15:01Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: You're welcome.
- 1:15:06Speaker 3: That was so disgusting I can't let her walk away today.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: You're welcome.
- 1:15:13Speaker 13: Thank you, Katie, thank you.
- 1:15:14Speaker 4: Jerry, You're very welcome, and you're a sweetheart.
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: I'm gonna put you back on hold and we'll come
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: back and tell you all about your prize.
- 1:15:21Speaker 11: Okay, awesome, Thank you.
