- 0:00Oh my God. Like it's me.
- 0:02It's just another one which is so hot, by the way.
- 0:05I kind of wish there was another me.
- 0:07You kissing the other you, and then me and Ryan are just
- 0:12standing there. Also I don't know why when you
- 0:15said make him. Yeah, all I said was just make
- 0:19him kiss. I didn't say who, I didn't say
- 0:21what. So that's all I said.
- 0:24I. Don't like the original?
- 0:26Professional Bachelor. Hey all you cool cats and
- 0:41kittens. What is up today?
- 0:46God this is the cringe podcast that last.
- 0:49Time during your porn comment. I have 1 today.
- 0:54As I said, it'll be an ongoing segment.
- 0:57I have my porn comment of the week.
- 0:59I have my philosophical question of the week.
- 1:01This is a a banger if I've ever heard one.
- 1:06I, I got the premise and then I kind of tweaked it to where it
- 1:11would work for us. It it's, it's good.
- 1:18What, what would Amber call it? Ryan.
- 1:26I don't know. On the on the board, what, what
- 1:32would you call that on the board?
- 1:35Oh. Sucka.
- 1:43It's good stuff. No, I hate it so.
- 1:50Much I hate it. My yeah, that's I'm, I'm glad
- 1:57that I finally got that all taken care of cause it's, it's
- 2:01some good. Stuff.
- 2:02I hate it so much Clean. Sweep, clean, sweep, clean,
- 2:15sweep of Canada. Get out of here, you Canadian
- 2:18bastards. Let's go.
- 2:20Was it a clean? I do not know that the.
- 2:22Women and the men both beat Canada in the gold medal game.
- 2:26I know we won. I didn't know it was a sweep.
- 2:30Clean sweep. Yep, both women and men. 1 gold
- 2:33over Canada. You know, in overtime.
- 2:37You know what they say, USAUSAU. SAUSAUSA.
- 2:47You guys are always off. You know, I it, it is a little
- 2:53hard to do this over discord and match up, but yeah.
- 2:59I think he's got a little delay. Yeah, my my favorite take cause
- 3:06the memes have been outrageous and I've really enjoyed
- 3:10consuming all of them. But one of my favorite takes is
- 3:17this game. Hockey means everything to
- 3:20Canada, but it's like our fourth favorite sport in the US.
- 3:26You know, most kids care about football, basketball, baseball
- 3:32over hockey any, any day of the week.
- 3:35So this is kind of like, yeah, might as well go get it.
- 3:39Kind of like how we took care of India and Pakistan in the the
- 3:46cricket World Cup with a bunch of people that have full time
- 3:50jobs that are not professional athletes.
- 3:56So once again, USAUSA. USAUSA.
- 4:00There you go. I was waiting for his queue.
- 4:04Oh, OK, Speaking of hockey. Welcome back guys.
- 4:11Sure, is he? That's where I was going.
- 4:15Welcome back guys. Episode 26 of the Thanks Haiti
- 4:23that podcast I'm Justin I. Thought I was 20. 726 this week.
- 4:3226 You're here with Amber. I.
- 4:36Hate that and Ryan don't do it. Oh, Draco mouth.
- 4:48Oh, it's a spit take. Almost.
- 4:52And you? Shorzi put out a new season or 6
- 4:57episodes. I I saw some stuff on social
- 5:03media and I thought it was just the rounds making it again, but
- 5:07they put out a new season or round.
- 5:10Of episodes, I mean 6 episodes, yeah.
- 5:12Hell yeah. It's good.
- 5:14For them. It's different.
- 5:17Shorzi's a coach now and it it kinda plays in with the USA
- 5:26Canada Olympics they start the no show North stars cause no
- 5:33show All Stars sounded stupid. So it's the No show North Stars
- 5:41against the EU and that's just the name of the team, the EU.
- 5:47It's European, something, EU, EU.
- 5:52So it's it's good watched all six episodes back-to-back to
- 5:56back. It's such a good show.
- 5:58I'll rewatch the whole thing soon here, but update I'm not in
- 6:08that mood yet, but I will be. You're talking to vacation, Jay.
- 6:12Oh, oh, again, we leave. Tomorrow.
- 6:21He's not in that mood. It was a day, dude.
- 6:23I'm getting there. But I'll, I'll tell you what
- 6:25happened this week. Vacation J starts tomorrow at
- 6:317:30 AM sharp, just like vacation should.
- 6:39Going up to the mountains. Yep, Yep.
- 6:42I know it's coming, you fucker. I'm going to take it away from
- 6:44you. You can't.
- 6:48I'm going to revoke your admin privileges, your moderator
- 6:53privileges, so. Loud being a discord mod is all
- 6:59I have. Happy Valentine's Day button.
- 7:08I still cannot wait for your guys's reaction to that script.
- 7:12I need somebody to pay so we can do it.
- 7:15I mean, we can just do it. We can just do it and just leave
- 7:19it behind the wall. Put it behind the paywall.
- 7:22I don't I don't know when you guys say put it behind a
- 7:25paywall. I don't know what that means,
- 7:27like to be 100% on this, but anyways.
- 7:30We'll get back to. The have have you ever gone to
- 7:32Netflix to watch something and not have paid for Netflix?
- 7:39Like you don't have a a login that is paid?
- 7:41Yeah. Can you watch anything that's
- 7:48behind the paywall? You have to pay in order to get
- 7:52the content. That's the streaming service.
- 7:54It's the same idea I. Mean we're streaming audio,
- 8:00that's kind of the thing. So they just got it like we'll
- 8:02have it on a on a website and then they just have to pay for
- 8:07it, but it's there. Yeah, it'll be buy me a coffee.
- 8:10It'll just be there and then they can go watch it if they
- 8:14pay. Like only fans.
- 8:17Yeah. We could start an only fans and
- 8:20I mean literally just have an only fans.
- 8:23Not even for like the sex side of it dude.
- 8:26We just have an only fans for the podcast because why not?
- 8:29It's just a bunch of. Sussy Baca.
- 8:34Hate it. Fantastic.
- 8:36I hate it. Oh.
- 8:43Jeez, it's just a bunch of feet pictures and not ours, just a
- 8:48bunch of feet pictures. That's good.
- 8:50That's very good. Would make so much off of that.
- 8:55What isn't that like plagiarizing?
- 8:57Kind of. Yes.
- 9:00So we can't do that. No, we take the photos.
- 9:02Everybody. We.
- 9:02We. Take the photos.
- 9:05It's just not our feet of other people's feet.
- 9:09They'd have to consent. Not necessarily a tech Republic,
- 9:15it doesn't matter. Technically we can do whatever
- 9:18we want, it's just do we feel like suffering the consequences
- 9:23of those actions? You can do whatever you want,
- 9:25it's a free country. You just got to be ready for
- 9:27what's coming after. I've seen the video where the
- 9:31guy is on the train and there's a girl with flip flops on and
- 9:35the flash goes off on his camera right at her feet and he just
- 9:38like fumbles the phone away and he puts it in his pocket and
- 9:40they're like are you fucking serious?
- 9:43Oh my gosh, the. Flash goes off, lights up the
- 9:46whole train car. Everybody's like, oh, we know
- 9:50what you were doing. So good.
- 9:53Speaking of feet, wait, hold on. I watched.
- 9:57It's really quick. I watched like a tiny little ABC
- 10:01News thing on the Epstein files, I think that's what it's called.
- 10:05And I didn't know that Prince Andrew was caught sucking
- 10:11somebody's toes on a beach before his public assistant or
- 10:15publicist or something like that.
- 10:17He's a royal, they get to do whatever they want.
- 10:20They don't claim him. Anymore.
- 10:21Yeah. Yeah, they demoted him.
- 10:24Yeah, I'm sure they don't, but. I didn't like, I didn't know
- 10:28about all of that, but yeah, he sucks toes young.
- 10:33I mean, to each their own, but fuck him.
- 10:37Anyways, vacation gym. So we're going to the mountains,
- 10:43we're gonna hang out for a day or two and then come back.
- 10:49But leading up to that, I did 800 miles in four days.
- 10:58Dang. Yeah, I did 25 hours of work,
- 11:05800 miles. When typically he normally does
- 11:09about 13 hours on like a good day.
- 11:14Yeah. 'Cause he works mostly Saturday,
- 11:17Sunday, but he worked Thursday through Sunday.
- 11:23Was it two or three days? Was in Augusta.
- 11:25Yeah, and. Three days were in Augusta.
- 11:30Yeah, and then I had to go back today, so 5th day, 2 hours one
- 11:36way and then whatever I'm doing in the middle, so 5 hour round
- 11:41trip. That's just, it's killing me.
- 11:45The drive is insane. We were gonna surprise you and
- 11:49do the podcast in the mountains, but his day took a turn.
- 11:55We were literally gonna. Just be like, oh hey, we're in a
- 11:58log. Cabin.
- 12:01Backdrop of the Rockies or the Appalachians, baby.
- 12:05Yeah. Hell yeah.
- 12:07We'll get there. Absolutely.
- 12:10That was I. Need to come up.
- 12:11That was my. Week with you guys.
- 12:14Yeah, come up to my grandparents.
- 12:18Just come up to to be in the mountains somewhere.
- 12:22Somewhere in the mountains doesn't matter.
- 12:24There's a lot of them over here. Come on up.
- 12:29I said we need to go hunting. Y'all can not mean I can't do
- 12:33that. Shit.
- 12:34Oh, but it's cold when it's hunting.
- 12:36Never mind, so I lied. Speaking of the cold, it's gonna
- 12:42get 20° tonight. Where you're at, Yeah.
- 12:48Are you We got a wind chill of 20° expected?
- 12:52What the fuck? It's really cold.
- 12:55We got hit with a low pressure front like that.
- 12:58That wind blowing gusting happened yesterday all day and
- 13:04the temperature just fell off a Cliff.
- 13:07It was 50° today. It's. 38 right now and this
- 13:13morning at like 5 or 6 in the morning, I looked at it, I think
- 13:16it said it was like 39 and 35 but it felt like 19 outside.
- 13:22My plants look like shit. And then?
- 13:25All of them. Up where we're going.
- 13:29I'm so sorry. It happens every every episode.
- 13:32Apparently. I was looking at my grandparents
- 13:38degrees, temperature, whatever. I lost it.
- 13:43And it's gonna be. Oh, it was, it was like 19 or
- 13:48something like that last night, but it felt like 1°.
- 13:52Yeah, I didn't want to tell you. Gross.
- 13:58Yeah. We were gonna drive in that
- 14:00today, Yeah. They said it was snow, like a
- 14:05light snow and a little bit of flurries.
- 14:08I think my grandma said that it was flaring a little bit but it
- 14:12wasn't sticking. Well, that's cool.
- 14:17Yeah, that's disgusting. It was weird.
- 14:19I called him 'cause I was like, hey, what if, what if I stayed
- 14:24there for like a week? My grandpa was like, oh, I at
- 14:28first I was like, I think I know your answer, but do you mind if
- 14:31I stay for a week? And he goes, no.
- 14:34And I thought I was kidding, 'cause it's my family.
- 14:36And I'm like, he's like, no, seriously, we can't have you
- 14:40come up or we would love to have you, but on Sunday we're meeting
- 14:44with some people for business and we can't have you there.
- 14:48And I was like, why? And it was just weird.
- 14:53Do you remember how it went 'cause I'm still like,
- 14:55flabbergasted. I say it's at a nudist colony.
- 14:58They just don't want the family dynamic.
- 15:01Sussy Bacca. Gross.
- 15:05Not with my grandpa, but yeah, I was like, he said something.
- 15:11He was like, oh, she wouldn't like those kind of people or
- 15:14something like that. And.
- 15:16I made the joke as to her grandfather and I said, yeah,
- 15:20Amber can't be around. What she said is those people
- 15:26such a good bit. It's so funny.
- 15:29God I love that bit. And then I think he said no.
- 15:33And then either you or him or like, no, it's the other way
- 15:37around. And it was just like a weird ass
- 15:39conversation. And then, oh, maybe it could be,
- 15:46'cause I was like, well, what if I just stayed at that at the
- 15:52house? Like, it's no big deal.
- 15:54And he goes, yeah. No.
- 15:58Not now. He's like, this is just not a
- 16:01good week. And I was like, OK, now I'm
- 16:05thinking about it was like, maybe they're bringing people
- 16:07over. See one?
- 16:09Huh. Gross.
- 16:12Why I? Don't know.
- 16:14To each their own. I understand.
- 16:16I don't know. They've had a plan for.
- 16:20Lunches up there in the mountains, I don't know.
- 16:24What would be the name of the villages in the mountains?
- 16:30Crisis alert. I don't know what I don't know.
- 16:33It's the first thing that came to my mind, Neil.
- 16:36Because they're all in, like, they're all in like cabins,
- 16:39yeah. I.
- 16:41Don't. Know something about?
- 16:43It's called the Adirondacks. That is.
- 16:50That's fantastic. I love it.
- 16:55Yeah. No, that was that was great.
- 16:56I like that 100%. They use theater on Next.
- 17:00They use colored walking sticks instead of loofahs.
- 17:03They use what? Colored walking sticks can't.
- 17:07Use that word. Sticks No.
- 17:10The other. Word Walking C.
- 17:14Word. You can't, absolutely.
- 17:17Cut No. They what happened?
- 17:19If it if it gets too cold up there, they gotta they gotta be
- 17:23careful. The Walking sticks shrink an
- 17:28inch, what you talking about? No the.
- 17:32Adirondacks colorful walking sticks.
- 17:34Oh yeah. You can't say the other, you
- 17:37guys say colorful. Never mind, Ryan.
- 17:43Did you get it? Yeah.
- 17:46Ryan, did you get it? I understood, yeah.
- 17:50Am I all alone over here in this island?
- 17:54I don't see colors so I don't. I don't know what you're talking
- 17:56about. Oh Lord.
- 17:59So my week was work, work, work, drive, drive, drive, pretty much
- 18:03get home, go to sleep, the whole 9 yards.
- 18:06And I got my plants all fenced up so the dogs will stop eating
- 18:12them. The babies inside on a timer so
- 18:20they'll be all safe and warm. I think that light is killing
- 18:27it. The big light in the big bin.
- 18:32Oh yeah, it's it's pretty bright.
- 18:33It's hot, yeah. It's not Even so much bright.
- 18:36It's just hot like when you put your hand in there.
- 18:38It's so hot. I I watered them the other
- 18:42night. When you went to bed early, you
- 18:44were like, I need to water the plants and I.
- 18:47Need to wash. The things and I need to do
- 18:48this. I watered them whenever you
- 18:53asked me to, and then I think it was like 3 or five in the
- 18:59morning, I forgot that the light was still on.
- 19:02So I went to go look at them and they were bone dry again.
- 19:05Yeah, so. That's good.
- 19:08Your plant shouldn't be bone dry.
- 19:10Well, I don't want him dry, but I'm saying they're using the
- 19:12water. That's good.
- 19:13I guess, yeah. But they a lot more water.
- 19:16I agree. I would say like putting like
- 19:20fill the the bottom part with water if you can.
- 19:23Yeah, I need to do that, yeah. How was?
- 19:27How was your week? It was more of the same.
- 19:33I managed to get both episodes that we have back logged edited.
- 19:41So that was good back yes. And then just kind of drove Uber
- 19:51the rest of the week. It was non nothing exciting
- 19:59until last night. I had a writer.
- 20:04It was this couple I picked up and I guess something had
- 20:10happened between them at this party, she kept saying.
- 20:18Something along the lines of like, there was some sort of
- 20:26kerfuffle between them at this party, I guess.
- 20:31And she, I couldn't hear her because she was very low when
- 20:36she would say stuff. And I was also trying to just
- 20:39pay attention to my music because I'm like, I don't want
- 20:41to listen in on people arguing. That doesn't sound like fun, but
- 20:45they. Yeah, exactly.
- 20:48They. So she would say stuff and he
- 20:52kept saying, I told you we are not going to talk about this
- 20:56until we get back to the hotel room.
- 20:59And it just kept going. And I don't remember what she
- 21:03said. But then he turned around and
- 21:05said, you know, I will say this one last thing.
- 21:10And then we're not talking about it until we get back to the
- 21:12hotel room. And he goes.
- 21:15Your attitude and your behavior was unacceptable tonight.
- 21:21I'm like, Oh my God, Oh my God. And then it was quiet for a
- 21:26little bit longer, like this whole ride was like 10 minutes
- 21:29maybe. So it wasn't really that long,
- 21:31but it it felt like an eternity. When did she throw him out of
- 21:36the car? I don't know, but she.
- 21:39Is that towards the end or? Yeah.
- 21:44But she kept trying to like talk to him and was like, can you
- 21:49tell me why? Can you tell me why and all this
- 21:52stuff. And he goes, he goes, I told you
- 21:56we are going to do this at the hotel room.
- 22:02Let the man have his peace. As I'm sitting here listening,
- 22:09I'm, I'm listening to a screaming metal song.
- 22:17So the irony was so fucking hilarious to me.
- 22:20And it's just like, it's just screaming and screaming and
- 22:25screaming and heavy rock music. And he's like, let the man have
- 22:29his piece. And I'm like, I'm just driving.
- 22:32Like do not turn around. Do not say a word.
- 22:37Get them. Out of this car.
- 22:38Yesterday. Like I am so done with this.
- 22:42You got to act like you didn't hear him just reference you by
- 22:46like words. You're like, don't bring me into
- 22:49this shit, man. Write my number down on the
- 22:53card. Hey, honey, if you need this, I
- 22:56can come pick you up and take you somewhere else so you don't
- 22:58have to deal with them. No, I wasn't going to get
- 23:02punched. I was like, I don't want
- 23:03anything to do with this. It is clearly a bickerfest
- 23:08that's about to happen in the hotel that they might get kicked
- 23:11out of because I feel like it's going to be high tempers.
- 23:17That happened to me. Yeah.
- 23:24That last? Night, but besides that, today I
- 23:32had the meet meeting with somebody and I am pretty sure I
- 23:37just closed a $5500 job. Sweet.
- 23:45Like all in a $5500 job so. What's it for?
- 23:51Doing social media work, revamping a website, doing some
- 23:59other like photo gathering stuff and doing basically just kind of
- 24:11like rebranding for a real estate agent.
- 24:14So. But that's the stuff.
- 24:19For there stuff on on stuff, yeah.
- 24:22So it'll be it'll be a monthly thing for part of it, which
- 24:30would be the social media stuff. So I'm excited to jump into
- 24:33that. But yeah.
- 24:37Good. I put in an application.
- 24:42I said good. I put it in application.
- 24:46I can't remember the name but it's for a fully remote for
- 24:54sales and estimator. So for whatever reason they
- 25:03don't have or they don't use someone to do estimates on site
- 25:10somehow for some reason. So they sub it out and you can
- 25:15do it remote. And I'm like, that's so fucking
- 25:18weird, but I'll take it like. Yeah.
- 25:21That sounds great. All I have to do is estimate the
- 25:24job and maybe sell it, which is nothing like that's what I did
- 25:29with my own company. So I I'm down, so moving right
- 25:35along. Hopefully that works with that.
- 25:38Let's say I I hope New Year's, New Beginning.
- 25:43We're both making buku by the end of it.
- 25:49I, I, I can hope that too, and I hope this thing keeps rolling.
- 25:56By the way, the last episode that was posted, which was what
- 26:02was that? Episode 23?
- 26:06Yeah. So episode 23, I think on
- 26:10Friday. I got the e-mail.
- 26:14We crossed 250 listens on Spotify.
- 26:16Yay. Yay, that's the stuff.
- 26:22We're we're rolling right along with that.
- 26:25That's awesome. Like total listens on all the
- 26:30episodes. On all the episodes on Spotify
- 26:33alone, OK, so that's not counting any of the other
- 26:37platforms. I can YouTube's not nearly as
- 26:41high just because YouTube is different than what Spotify is
- 26:50with this, but with YouTube it also counts in all of our shorts
- 26:57that we did and we have over 14,000 views on that so.
- 27:03Jesus. Good.
- 27:07So hopefully we can eventually, yeah, I don't like the the fact
- 27:13that we don't have like cameras on.
- 27:17It's just not as engaging. If we had cameras then it would
- 27:20be a lot better and then. I'll say the portal, the portal
- 27:25backdrop helps to keep the attention.
- 27:27But yeah, I'm with you. So we could do like, we'll
- 27:33figure that out AI. Cartoons, yeah.
- 27:38I. Want to see if I could do that.
- 27:42The. Other thing, I want to see if I,
- 27:46yeah, do it. The other thing is it sounds
- 27:50like we hammered down a date to have Clifford come on.
- 27:58So I'm excited to have him jump on the podcast.
- 28:01He's the guy that used to work for one of the radio stations
- 28:05here in Orlando, has a bunch of awesome stories and he's been,
- 28:11because I showed him the podcast, he listened to it and
- 28:14he texted me after he listened to 1 episode.
- 28:16He goes, dude, I totally want to be on.
- 28:18I was like, we'll, we'll make this happen.
- 28:20So it sounds like coming up here the 7th of March, he will be
- 28:27coming over to try and record. So if we can make that happen
- 28:31with you guys, awesome if if you guys can, ideally yes, but if
- 28:38you guys can't, then it'll be just a special episode so so
- 28:41the. 7th. Yeah, it's a week.
- 28:45After the Yeah, we'll work it out after the episode.
- 28:48But that's that's kind of rolling with the, the podcast
- 28:53side of things that 250 mark is, is an awesome achievement on
- 28:59Spotify. I like it, man.
- 29:01We're just, I mean, we keep putting them out.
- 29:04Eventually it'll get into the ear of somebody that gives a
- 29:08shit enough to signal boosted a good bit.
- 29:12I say we still need to do a bunch of stuff on her TikTok and
- 29:15all that, but did you have anything for this week segments
- 29:22wise? Just talking about the the rides
- 29:27that I did and this job, that was the the big thing that I
- 29:29had. I had written down some ideas if
- 29:34I can find that's not it. High hopes messaged me and I
- 29:40want to bring this to the attention.
- 29:44He messaged me after listening to the episode and he goes.
- 29:48I'm so glad you made that comment about Amber getting her
- 29:51asshole removed. I had the same thought then you
- 29:53said it. It's good.
- 29:59So love. It.
- 30:03It's on the Internet forever. I hate that.
- 30:09Before I removed my asshole. Gross.
- 30:13I think that's what I said. Yeah.
- 30:16Yeah, that was an old episode. No, that was the 21.
- 30:22Was it? Episode 23 'cause that was right
- 30:28before it was right before Valentine's Day.
- 30:37Did you have any segments? OK, let's say it'll be a It'll
- 30:42be AJ Heavy podcast I. Mean.
- 30:47And that's OK. We love that.
- 30:50I do too. I love hearing your voice in
- 30:53this year and in this year. I also watched, I don't know
- 30:58what they were, but they had a studio, like a professional
- 31:03studio behind the glass and they had their husbands go into the
- 31:08booth and read excerpts from the spicy books that they were
- 31:13reading. And their husbands are not voice
- 31:15actors or anything like that, but the the audio is so good
- 31:19that they were just giving them prompts say this and one of them
- 31:26went to speak and he goes, you're no.
- 31:31And they were like, OK, go try that again.
- 31:35And he goes, he goes, I'm so scared, I'm so scared.
- 31:38But he came back and I mean full blown perfect.
- 31:42Like the the vampire king from that one game that everybody
- 31:46talks about drill or whatever. Drock.
- 31:52I can't remember. Yeah.
- 31:54Say it. Say it.
- 31:54Say it. Say it.
- 31:55Do it. Do it.
- 31:55Do it. Do it.
- 31:58Oh, Draco Malfoy. Say, say, say, do it, do it, do
- 32:01it, do it. Do it, do it, do it, do it
- 32:04daddy. But eventually they got into the
- 32:09the thing and it was perfect man, I want to do it.
- 32:11It was it was really good like the audio that they had.
- 32:15That was just something that I saw earlier this week, but my
- 32:18segments are going to be an ongoing every week.
- 32:22I'm going to do, like I said, one philosophical thing and one
- 32:25porn comment of the week. I'm going to do the
- 32:28philosophical one first. And it's A2 parter with a
- 32:33premise. So it's a little bit of a story,
- 32:36but not bad. So this one is, it's an old
- 32:46philosophical, everybody's heard it forever, but it's redone for
- 32:50our sake to actually have like a discussion.
- 32:54So the premise is, say an all powerful nation has a critical
- 33:01ship. Every single part of the ship
- 33:04has to be replaced before its end of life to keep it 100%
- 33:08operational at all times. Holes, deck guns, cables,
- 33:13lights, everything. Once every part has been
- 33:16replaced, is it still the same ship that's Part 1.
- 33:23Everything is replaced. Every part.
- 33:25Hulls, deck guns, cables, lights, bulkheads, paint.
- 33:30Was all of this replaced at the same time, or was all of it
- 33:34replaced on a regular basis going forward?
- 33:40Incrementally. So some parts wear out in three
- 33:43months, some parts wear out in three years, but eventually at
- 33:46the end of the, you know, time of service on the ship, every
- 33:50single piece of the ship will be replaced.
- 33:53Is it still the same ship? I would say yes because it was
- 33:58done incrementally. That's my my thought process.
- 34:05No. OK, why is it not the same ship?
- 34:10Because like, you're talking all the way down to like the bones.
- 34:15Every bolt. Yeah, the paint.
- 34:17Not the same. Not the same ship.
- 34:20OK. Because it would.
- 34:26How do you say it? You buy a ship, that's the ship,
- 34:31but the whole thing is replaced. Eventually, yeah.
- 34:37It's it's one light here. It's a bolt there, it's a
- 34:40railing there. It's a gun barrel there.
- 34:42Nope, 'cause that would be like replacing everything on you,
- 34:47including bones and heart and blood and everything like that.
- 34:51It's not the same. OK.
- 34:53And every replacement part is exactly the same.
- 34:55It's all manufactured exactly the same, Still the same.
- 35:00Not the same ship, no. OK, so Ryan said it.
- 35:07Is yes, because it was. Done.
- 35:12I thought you're upgrading it. No, no upgrades.
- 35:15Exactly the same parts. They go in just as they came
- 35:18out. You can't wait for the part to
- 35:21die because the then the ship is down and it can't be down for
- 35:26national security, it has to be operational 100%.
- 35:29Where are you getting these parts from?
- 35:31A different boat or they're making it for that boat.
- 35:34Making it for that boat big identical manufacturing the the
- 35:39press that press the first part press the second part.
- 35:42They just pressed it at a later date then that part got.
- 35:45It's the. Same ship I thought.
- 35:46I thought you were upgrading it. No, no upgrades, exactly the
- 35:49same parts, same ship. It was 10 years and that's
- 35:51that's the thing. It's the same ship, exactly the
- 35:54same ship, same just all new, all new everything.
- 35:56The entire ship gets replaced. I.
- 35:58Thought if it was, if it was upgrading and adding stuff that
- 36:02was not originally there, I would say no.
- 36:06It's it's a different ship. It's the same if it's
- 36:10everything's been replaced and having upgrades done, but
- 36:13because it's exactly the same, that's my thought process is
- 36:16it's the same ship because it's done.
- 36:18Incrementally if you think it's the same ship.
- 36:28Question Part 2 obviously. If you think it's the same ship,
- 36:32what if you use the old parts to make another ship?
- 36:36Do you then have two of the same ship?
- 36:39No, it's a different ship. Why would you?
- 36:42Just cause. Why?
- 36:43Just 'cause that's, that's, that's philosophical, that's.
- 36:47A dumb philosophical question. Why would?
- 36:49You be. Placing it in the if it's.
- 36:52Totally fine. Well, the first ship has to
- 36:54maintain 100% national efficient.
- 36:57It's gotta be 100% operational at all times.
- 37:00Said that the parts are are identical.
- 37:04They're the same exact parts, yeah, So why are you replacing
- 37:09them? Because at some point they will
- 37:11die, but you can't wait for them to die.
- 37:12So why are you making another ship?
- 37:15Because you have the parts the other ships not mission
- 37:19critical. What's?
- 37:20Wrong with those parts. Right, that's why they made
- 37:23another ship. So if there's nothing wrong with
- 37:26those parts, why'd you take it off?
- 37:28Because you can't wait for the original parts to die.
- 37:33But they're from the same manufacturing press they're
- 37:36from. Yeah, just at a different time.
- 37:38So the parts that have been on there, they might have been on
- 37:40there for three years. They're still fully operational
- 37:44then there. Had to have been some upgrading,
- 37:46hence it's not the same ship. Why is it an upgrade?
- 37:52Because if if you're using wood from three years later, that's
- 37:58different type of wood, it's a different type of bark.
- 38:01It's it's not the same ship. So my idea was it was a
- 38:04destroyer or something, a full metal ship.
- 38:07Then you're getting metal that's three years later that could
- 38:12have been upgraded that you don't know anything about
- 38:14because you're not in the factory.
- 38:16Well, usually. It's.
- 38:19Not the. Same.
- 38:20It's not the same 'cause my thing is, if it's the same
- 38:24material for the same boat, it's going to be the same wood that
- 38:29you had. But if you're upgrading it
- 38:32because now it's newer wood, it's not the same boat.
- 38:36OK. Because obviously the the, the
- 38:40wood and every or whatever metal, everything like that,
- 38:43you're replacing it for a reason, meaning it's not going
- 38:47to work whether it be tomorrow or three years from now, you're
- 38:52putting something newer on it. New is an upgrade.
- 38:59I'd call it a replacement. No, it is an.
- 39:03Upgrade if it's the same. If it's the same part stamped
- 39:06the exact same way, it's not an upgrade, it's just a replacement
- 39:10if it's a new. Part.
- 39:11But if you're getting it three years later, if you're getting
- 39:14it three years. Later.
- 39:16If it's stamped. Yeah, if it's stamped the exact
- 39:20same way using an exact same. Why would you change it?
- 39:24Because it wears. Out stamped, But if it's stamped
- 39:28the same way, meaning you're putting a expiration date on it,
- 39:33those two things expire at the same time.
- 39:38What? No, no.
- 39:44If you're using the same machine to stamp it, three years later,
- 39:48it's still the same part. There's still an upgrade at some
- 39:52point. I'm.
- 39:53Pretty sure the the arm or whatever that's creating that
- 39:58metal had to be replaced, right? Things don't just last for three
- 40:02years all the time, or five years or seven years.
- 40:05You have to replace those. Hence why we're rebuilding the
- 40:08boat. So upgrades were done at some
- 40:11point, meaning that the metal, even if it stamped the same way,
- 40:16there have been upgrades within three years on things.
- 40:20So no matter what, you're going to have an upgraded boat.
- 40:24Hence it's not the same boat. I love how the second part was
- 40:28the actual philosophical thing and y'all are stuck on the first
- 40:33one. It's so funny.
- 40:38It's not. I would.
- 40:39Say I would say you. Don't have two of the same
- 40:42boats? Yeah, you don't have two of the
- 40:45same boat. It's a sister or a twin, but
- 40:48it's it's not the same boat. So which boat is the original?
- 40:56The one that's been rolling the entire time.
- 41:00And you say no, So the boat that was built with the old parts is
- 41:05the original boat. Well, that's what I asked.
- 41:10Which one is the original boat? The secondary boat now.
- 41:14The one that was rebuilt. Does it have all the parts from
- 41:17the old boat? Like every single.
- 41:19Part. Every single part, yeah.
- 41:20That's the boat. Now that's the original boat,
- 41:22yeah. Same bones, same materials, same
- 41:29everything. Same paint everything.
- 41:32Have you heard? Are you repainting this?
- 41:34Are you repainting the second boat or keeping the?
- 41:39Paint keeping the old paint. And yeah, that's the same boat.
- 41:43It is the same boat. Like the second?
- 41:46Boat breaking her, I'm breaking her break.
- 41:49The second boat is now the original boat.
- 41:52Y'all tell us in the comments. No, this whole thing is stupid.
- 41:55Is the first. Boat you, what you would have
- 41:58done is all of those pieces, right?
- 42:03All of the pieces that you put on this first boat that you're
- 42:07replacing, it can make a second boat that's all the same pieces.
- 42:13Is that the same boat? That's exactly what he's.
- 42:17Asking, yeah, that's the question.
- 42:18That's. Exactly what he's asking and
- 42:21just in a different. Way, instead of replacing every
- 42:26single part on the original boat, you you keep that boat the
- 42:31same. All the new material that you
- 42:35had that you were going to replace on this boat, you put it
- 42:38on a secondary boat. OK.
- 42:41Is that the same boat? I don't know.
- 42:44That's the question. That was not your question.
- 42:49It's, it's just asked in a different way.
- 42:50It is. It's the same question though,
- 42:54because the the idea is that the original boat was built and then
- 42:59over the span of several years it got updated with these new.
- 43:05Parts. I'm not saying.
- 43:06I'm not saying. Just wait.
- 43:08Just wait. Just wait, listen, listen to
- 43:13hear and not listen to respond. Oh.
- 43:19My God, so. All of those parts have been
- 43:24replaced incrementally and then you take it and do it.
- 43:28So all new parts on this boat, all original parts on this boat
- 43:34that were from the original building of the the first ship.
- 43:39So it's the same question just asked in a different way, 'cause
- 43:45all you're saying is, well, now we're not replacing anything on
- 43:48this boat, We're just building a new ship that in that sense.
- 43:51It would be. A completely different ship.
- 43:53Yeah, yeah. In that sense, it would be.
- 43:57In that sense, that was literally.
- 44:00My question you're like, no, it's the same thing you were.
- 44:04Like OK. But if we did it this way, I'm
- 44:07like, that's literally my fucking question.
- 44:11I'm done. No.
- 44:17So did you hear about the USS Gerald Ford's?
- 44:20Issues. The Gerald Ford what?
- 44:25The USS Gerald Ford, all their issues they've had.
- 44:29Uh huh. So this is a $13 billion ship
- 44:36aircraft carrier, $13 billion aircraft carrier.
- 44:41Is that the new? One.
- 44:42Yeah, yeah, that new one. Oh, OK.
- 44:46They were like, rather than taking the sewage system that
- 44:50we've used on every single ship for a millennia, let's upgrade
- 44:55it to what cruise ships use. So it's a vacuum based system.
- 45:03During 2025 deployments in four days they had over 205
- 45:13breakdowns of toilets in four days.
- 45:16The the system had a much narrower pipe which caused the
- 45:26frequent clogs and costing it cost $400,000 worth of acid
- 45:36flushers flushes to repair. I completely believe it.
- 45:41This ship houses over four 4500 sailors and has been plagued by
- 45:49issues since 2023. And it's just, yeah, it's one of
- 45:54those things where you need to completely replace brand new,
- 45:58upgrade to the old sewer system. We had a vacuum system on our
- 46:09boat. I fucking hate vacuum systems.
- 46:16Yeah, so. I wanted to.
- 46:18I wanted to RIP it out day one. I fucking hate vacuum systems.
- 46:24Yeah, they should have never, never done that shit.
- 46:27Somebody got the contract, 'cause he's somebody's nephew
- 46:30and that'll be the last contract he ever gets with that company
- 46:33name. He'll change the name and get
- 46:36another one, but that'll be the last one under that name, that's
- 46:38for damn sure. That's for sure.
- 46:40Yeah, I. Hate vacuum systems, They suck.
- 46:42Literally pun. Literally.
- 46:50So my next one. I'm done with your philosophical
- 46:53fucking questions. No more philosophical, I feel
- 46:57I've ruined you. You did.
- 46:59So no more philosophical, but I do have porn comment of the
- 47:04week. This one is submitted by Fox
- 47:14Hunter. The comment says my son left
- 47:19this computer open. I'm not even mad.
- 47:23This, this some good shit. 176 likes.
- 47:33Not. Like this?
- 47:34Fantastic. I ain't even mad.
- 47:38To to train. There's a train.
- 47:42I've always, I've said since we've been here, this would be
- 47:45someone who has high functioning autism.
- 47:49This would be their paradise. This would be the greatest house
- 47:54they've ever lived in because there's a train half a mile,
- 47:57there's The Jets fly over every day, the gunships fly over every
- 48:02day. I saw Chinook today driving home
- 48:05just right over the top of the trees.
- 48:09That's awesome. What's the other thing they
- 48:12like? John's seen it.
- 48:17No, I haven't. No, they can't see him.
- 48:22So high Hopes had an interesting proposition and I forgot about
- 48:30this until just now. I sent him the new AI edited
- 48:38logos that I worked on and said, hey, let me know what you think.
- 48:45I I worked on these and kind of had the discussion.
- 48:51Yeah, it was made with AI blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
- 48:54He goes, I look forward to someone reading an AI or someone
- 49:03using an AI to read about why the AI using the AI as graphics
- 49:10is is unacceptable. I was like bet so I had a.
- 49:16Little Gym movie bet. So I had Google so.
- 49:21Hold on. Let me let me explain that
- 49:23again. Let me let me run that back.
- 49:25You're going to ask Gemini why it's bad that Gemini made this.
- 49:33Here's my exact deal. I said I did branding and logo
- 49:43work using AI. Give me 5 write insurance that
- 49:46are from people who are unreasonably upset and mad that
- 49:51I used AI. OK.
- 49:54And there's some good ones in here.
- 50:02I'm going to read 1 for sure though.
- 50:10Let. Me.
- 50:13Get this copy. Sussy Baca, you're disgusting.
- 50:23That was the name of the ship. Oh.
- 50:25My God, yeah. I'm gonna do more of those.
- 50:31I feel people turned us off halfway through that, but I I
- 50:33enjoyed it. Hey, that's totally fine.
- 50:37I'm I'm good with it. OK, so I just sent in at episode
- 50:4526 media. I created a a new thread so this
- 50:51this right in is titled the Pixels and pitchforks purest.
- 50:59Excuse me? I zoomed in 400% on the corner
- 51:03of the H and the line thickness in is inconsistent.
- 51:07Classic AI garbage. A real designer would have spent
- 51:12six weeks agonizing over that vector, but you just pressed a
- 51:15button. You basically spit in the face
- 51:17of the Renaissance. Do you even know what a CMYK
- 51:22color profile is? Disgusting.
- 51:25Disgusting, Disgusting. Very good.
- 51:28Disgusting. Very good.
- 51:34I have like 15 worth of those. Nope, I have 20 worth of those.
- 51:40Good God. I did also have them do some
- 51:52hate mail sign sound bites so I might have to ask like high
- 51:58hopes or another somebody to send me a sound bite of one of
- 52:04these. So basically it's audio ready so
- 52:10they can call in and leave like a message for us and it would be
- 52:15one of these sound bites talking about how disgusting it is that
- 52:19we used AI. So some good stuff.
- 52:26I mean, I get the argument, I do.
- 52:32I just don't know if I get it for creators that have no income
- 52:40from that platform, you know what I mean?
- 52:42Like I can assure you, you're not losing money by not
- 52:46designing this logo. Nobody was going to pay you
- 52:49anyway because we don't have the funds for it.
- 52:51Like that's the whole point. It.
- 52:54Was either we do it ourselves or AI does it.
- 52:58There was no discussion of can we have somebody else do it and
- 53:04pay them. We didn't have anything to pay
- 53:06them. Like, I don't know, I get the
- 53:08idea of like trying to put half of the graphic designers and
- 53:15animators, and I mean people who have literally this is their
- 53:19career. This is an industry sector that
- 53:24you're like, well, I feel like I'm just going to cut them out
- 53:27and let AI build it for me. That's not OK.
- 53:31And then again, if that's not OK, then is it OK to use AI in,
- 53:43you know, contract negotiations, in legal work in anywhere that
- 53:47somebody had a career in an industry sector across the
- 53:52board? Is that not OK?
- 53:54I'm. Not allowed.
- 53:58To you. Anymore why I got heated?
- 54:02She did turn red. Her ears are red.
- 54:05No. No, I, I think, I think the big
- 54:10thing is AI and, and it's going to get worse before it gets
- 54:15better, but eventually AI is going to fold into the best use
- 54:20scenarios. So stuff like what we used it
- 54:23for the entry point of creating that making funny memes, you
- 54:28know, that type of stuff. There are several fast food
- 54:33restaurants, Wendy's being the the best one that I know of,
- 54:39have already started using it as the drive through like order
- 54:46taker. And it's dog.
- 54:48Shit, it's it's the best one out there though, right now Wendy's
- 54:55and it's it's only going to get better.
- 54:56Wendy's is the best one out there.
- 55:00Yeah, Checkers is awful. And then there's another one
- 55:04that's there's another one that is terrible.
- 55:06Wendy's is actually decent, but they still have people with the
- 55:10headsets on listening in. So if they need to jump in and
- 55:14correct something they can. I don't see it taking those jobs
- 55:20away fully. But like, it's not that.
- 55:24It's not that McDonald's uses AI in their self-service menu
- 55:31ordering stuff, but it's that that technology aspect of it.
- 55:35Like there are going to be jobs that are taken away that nobody
- 55:39likes to do. Nobody likes to take an order
- 55:41for food, fast food, like just get your slop and get out of
- 55:47here, you know? So.
- 55:52That's my whole thought process. So like the, the things like
- 55:54that, I, I still think that artists are still going to have
- 56:01plenty of work because you have to be really good at AI to get
- 56:06it. And there's still a lot of
- 56:09issues with that logo because I don't have the skill set to make
- 56:13it perfect. And I don't know, I, I still
- 56:17think like artists themselves are still going to have a thing.
- 56:22I mean, the art category on Twitch is massive.
- 56:27You have people drawing all day on Twitch doing live streams and
- 56:33viewers are flocking to there, you know, like that's a, that's
- 56:35a huge section of Twitch. I see that a lot too, like the
- 56:44full live stream of somebody doing a photo realistic of
- 56:49something. And I mean, it's all damn day.
- 56:52And whether they sell that or not, the you're still doing the
- 56:57thing that you want to do as a career.
- 57:01That's the other part of it too. I've always been one of those
- 57:05people that not so much like shills for capitalism, but I I
- 57:13do understand it. Like at its core, it's a free
- 57:18market. Nobody's forcing you to stay an
- 57:22animator or a graphic designer. And I'm not saying that they
- 57:26should be put out of work, not what I'm saying at all.
- 57:29I'm just saying, yes, a thing happened that took away your
- 57:33livelihood. Don't work for that company
- 57:36anymore. Go work for another company.
- 57:39That's the free market that you're allowed to do that.
- 57:42You I understand that. Like it's disruptive and it,
- 57:45it's hard. There's a hundred other
- 57:49industries in the past, literally 100 years that have
- 57:52gone from like metaphorically and physically horse and buggy
- 58:00to F1 cars. You know what I'm saying?
- 58:01Like there was 100 sectors in there that got replaced, move
- 58:06turned around and went into something else.
- 58:09Like either they went to go work for another factory who still
- 58:12had those or they went to another job.
- 58:15And I'm not saying that we should fuck those people.
- 58:19Like that's not what I'm saying at all.
- 58:20It's just like I, I don't know it, it happens, you know?
- 58:24It it's all about being able to pivot really.
- 58:29The the big thing with that. I'm sorry, what?
- 58:34Nothing. It's Tourettes.
- 58:36Oh, gotcha you. Wouldn't know 'cause you don't
- 58:38watch Friends, right? I've seen friends.
- 58:42You talking about the pivot with the couch?
- 58:44Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I remember you telling us
- 58:47that one time. You hate that show.
- 58:48You hate the show Friends and everything about it.
- 58:51My. God I hate this podcast so much.
- 58:54You. Know one one game the comments.
- 58:57One big category I would say that kind of shows the the
- 59:03change is telephone operators. We really don't have telephone
- 59:08operators anymore, but you still have the text to speech
- 59:13operators for deaf people. You still have front desk people
- 59:19now that's being kind of pushed away through AI and more
- 59:25automated systems. But you still have people
- 59:28working in those jobs assisting that AI.
- 59:33You still have people working on the AI system to make it work.
- 59:38So it's it's kind of pivoting in a way, but.
- 59:44See that that was the big argument with coal and solar.
- 59:48Yeah. You still have people working in
- 59:50coal, but it did take away 80% of the jobs.
- 59:54And then somebody comes in and says, well, just learn how to be
- 59:56a solar tech. And it's like, motherfucker, I'm
- 59:59a coal miner. Like, what are you talking
- 1:00:03about? I I I'm not going back to trade
- 1:00:05school to become a fucking solar tech.
- 1:00:07Like, I've been doing this for 20 years.
- 1:00:09I have a pension here. Like, go somewhere else.
- 1:00:12I have a union here. Yeah.
- 1:00:14And now the union doesn't need 80% of its people because we
- 1:00:18don't use this any like it's, you know, it's hard to, it's
- 1:00:21hard to. I, I would say the closer to me,
- 1:00:25the closer equation or whatever the word is equivalent of that
- 1:00:32would be, well, go, go get a job mining rare earth minerals or go
- 1:00:38get a job on an oil rig. Cause those skills are not
- 1:00:45necessarily transferable 100%, you know, equally, but those
- 1:00:50skills that you had coal mining are enough to get you in the
- 1:00:55door at one of these other, you know, mining operations.
- 1:01:02Now is that a realistic thing to say that everyone can get the
- 1:01:06job doing that? No, it's not possible.
- 1:01:09But as technology increases. Yeah.
- 1:01:14As technology increases, you're going to see new stuff come in
- 1:01:20that we've never seen before and is going to push the old stuff
- 1:01:23out of the way. And that's just the way the
- 1:01:26world works. Is AI inherently bad?
- 1:01:30I would say no. Are there bad parts about it?
- 1:01:34Absolutely. And until the law catches up,
- 1:01:39we're not going to see much of A change or until the the free
- 1:01:43market catches up because the free market hasn't caught up to
- 1:01:46it yet. Everybody's like, oh, this is a
- 1:01:48new toy that we're going to play with.
- 1:01:52So until you see that that kind of dip off that will happen with
- 1:01:57the free market once everybody's like, OK, so this is no longer
- 1:02:00the the new toy, you're going to see some stuff changing to where
- 1:02:06it makes some, you know, makes it into a better system.
- 1:02:12And then the laws will catch up after that and it'll keep
- 1:02:17getting better, hopefully. I will.
- 1:02:20I will say from a user basis, I went through, you know, six of
- 1:02:27them, seven of them, and I found which one that actually works,
- 1:02:31that actually does what you add. I mean, it might lose its mind
- 1:02:34every now and again, but just just a basic task.
- 1:02:37Take this picture that I have uploaded and edit it to look
- 1:02:41like a profile picture. That's all I asked it to do.
- 1:02:44And the other ones lost their minds.
- 1:02:45They had no clue what will the fuck was going on.
- 1:02:48I mean, repeatedly. I tried it repeatedly, didn't
- 1:02:52have a clue. ChatGPT, first time, first
- 1:02:56fucking time, perfect picture. And I'm like, hey, look at that.
- 1:02:59It did it with no problems. And then I ran it back through
- 1:03:02and I'm like, all right, give it a tan.
- 1:03:04Gave me a tan. I was like, look at that.
- 1:03:07No problem. Didn't ask, didn't flinch,
- 1:03:09didn't, didn't give me three years, Just boom, done.
- 1:03:12Couldn't believe it. And again, we're talking about
- 1:03:15like the like the, the negatives and pros and cons of whatever,
- 1:03:19but just as like an actual user, I, I've used them, they all are
- 1:03:24pretty bad. They're they got a long way to
- 1:03:27go, man. They got a long way to go to to
- 1:03:30get to the point where it's it's usable for the average person.
- 1:03:35But the learning curve I would say is is not terrible.
- 1:03:43You can learn how to use it. You can learn how like Google is
- 1:03:49not the best with pictures, but using just like text response,
- 1:03:56like the, the reviews and stuff. It's been great.
- 1:04:00It's, it's had excellent success with that.
- 1:04:03And I, I tweaked some of my questions for it to get it to
- 1:04:07where I want it to be. But it's, it's done a fantastic
- 1:04:11job that way, you know, And so I think each and everyone, it's
- 1:04:16going to be about what you put in.
- 1:04:17If you put slop in, you're going to get slop out.
- 1:04:22Now, granted, if I'm not slopped in, you can still get slop out.
- 1:04:25Yeah. Well, sloppy toppy.
- 1:04:28Oh. He said.
- 1:04:34It very good. Yeah, No, the the the logo was
- 1:04:40great. I used open AI ChatGPT for that
- 1:04:44because I tried Jim and I, I tried Grok, I tried another one
- 1:04:51and all of them were like, OK, I can send you some examples of
- 1:04:56what I found. They were all OK, but they
- 1:04:58weren't like that great. And then ChatGPT spit out one
- 1:05:02that kind of looked like what we finished with.
- 1:05:05And so I just kept refining it and refining it and refining it
- 1:05:09to the point where I have all of these assets now that I can use.
- 1:05:13So I've got the individual of us, you know, each file I have
- 1:05:19individually of us, so I can put them in different situations and
- 1:05:22all of this stuff. We've got Amber playing with
- 1:05:27some trash pandas on one picture.
- 1:05:30We've got, we've got all of our, our animals, which I don't know
- 1:05:37if we ever talked about this really.
- 1:05:39We didn't. We were trying to have the
- 1:05:42listeners guess. Gotcha.
- 1:05:46So we episodes I, I played around with it and created an AI
- 1:05:53version of what Amber had in mind of us podcasting as animals
- 1:05:58around a campfire. And then I took those animals
- 1:06:03and mashed them up with our individual person, you know, so
- 1:06:09Jay is the one that he his representation is and and all
- 1:06:13that. So it was fun.
- 1:06:15It was a lot of a lot of kind of like, OK, so how do I reword
- 1:06:19this to get exactly what I want? My favorite one, can I?
- 1:06:23I'm just going to say it, Jay. Jay's representation is a snake
- 1:06:28'cause he's a sneaky little sneaky snake.
- 1:06:30Sneaky. Snake.
- 1:06:34I'm a snake. I.
- 1:06:37Thought it was pretty good. I liked I liked what it gave you
- 1:06:41back after you prompted it. But nano banana?
- 1:06:48Have you used that one? No.
- 1:06:52It is dog shit. Oh yeah.
- 1:06:56It is the worst like AI picture editing slash like when they
- 1:07:06give you the air quotes make it come alive, grok imagine
- 1:07:10bullshit. It is dog shit dude.
- 1:07:13It is the worst it it's the one where it was like it was just
- 1:07:16doing shit. I'm like, bro, you're not even
- 1:07:18on the same planets. What I'm asking you to do like
- 1:07:24completely wrong. Nowhere near what I was looking
- 1:07:27for and it like it would just throw shit in there.
- 1:07:29I'm like, how did you where did you come up with a Hawaiian
- 1:07:32shirt? Nobody said that.
- 1:07:34Nobody mentioned like you came up with that all on your own.
- 1:07:37You went, I see this picture. It looks like a Hawaiian shirt
- 1:07:40picture like out of fucking nowhere.
- 1:07:42I'm like what are you talking it and then it and it distorts the
- 1:07:45image so much it looks like a cartoon from a fucking photo.
- 1:07:49Like just a it was my rant dog shit AI.
- 1:07:55Did I send you the one where we're around the campfire and I
- 1:07:59told open AI to have each of the animals holding the microphone
- 1:08:06around the campfire remove the desk and everything and it spit
- 1:08:10out the snake Having an actual arm with a hand holding the
- 1:08:14microphone. It's fantastic.
- 1:08:17I saved that. I was like this is too good not
- 1:08:19to save but. It's.
- 1:08:24I did have. I'm not sure if I like the snake
- 1:08:26with an arm or not. Like it's it's actually pretty
- 1:08:29funny. Yeah, it's hilarious.
- 1:08:31That's why I saved it because it's like this is this is just
- 1:08:34ridiculous. But then I had it, you know,
- 1:08:37with the tail wrapped around the the mic how I envisioned it.
- 1:08:42But yeah, I mean there's. I.
- 1:08:44There's benefits. Originally had it had them
- 1:08:47drinking a beer and a wine instead of holding a mic, but I
- 1:08:52like it. I mean this was just like a a
- 1:08:56concept type of thing too, so this wasn't meant to take away
- 1:09:00from your original vision, but more of a give the see what AI
- 1:09:08would come up with and I think it did a pretty decent job with
- 1:09:12it. It.
- 1:09:14Was awesome, I liked it a lot. That's that's also my thing is
- 1:09:17like you said, open AI is ChatGPT, is that the same thing?
- 1:09:22Yeah. OK, so I think I tried open AI
- 1:09:27and I was like, I don't know what this is.
- 1:09:29And then I just straight up went to ChatGPT, like the actual like
- 1:09:33ChatGPT website or wherever you go to like do the actual thing
- 1:09:37and it worked great. So I like, I like what it's put
- 1:09:40now. Yeah.
- 1:09:42Open AII believe is the company that owns ChatGPT.
- 1:09:46OK. So ChatGPT is the actual AI
- 1:09:53thing? Product I think.
- 1:09:54Yeah, yeah, the I think they're up to GPT 5 DPT.
- 1:10:02I don't know what happened that day.
- 1:10:04I still don't understand how why that was so hard for me.
- 1:10:07I could not get the word out and not even a word, 3 letters.
- 1:10:10I could not figure it out in my head.
- 1:10:13It was like, I know what I'm trying to say like.
- 1:10:18But yeah, so you'll see, you'll see some more artwork coming
- 1:10:23through that because like I said, I've got us with our
- 1:10:26animal counterparts. I did 1 standing and one kind of
- 1:10:31like kneeling down with them for each of us.
- 1:10:36And yeah, a bunch of different. Stuff I'm sure that's I'm sure
- 1:10:40that's all you did. We're not going to talk.
- 1:10:44I like the way I like the way I look on AI versus what I look
- 1:10:49like in real life. Did I show you the picture that
- 1:10:54I I had used for that? No, but I know which one it is.
- 1:11:00It's from the Lantern Festival. It's from the Lantern Festival.
- 1:11:03It's the picture I took of you guys do taking a selfie.
- 1:11:07Mm Hmm. I figured I was like, it's a
- 1:11:11really cute picture and you had it running through your Google
- 1:11:16picture thingy every now. And then absolutely I did.
- 1:11:20I did like Justin when I sent you guys when I was first
- 1:11:26editing the photos, Justin was like, now make them kiss.
- 1:11:30And I just typed in, now make them kiss.
- 1:11:33And it took Justin, copied him and made him an amber kiss on
- 1:11:40one side, and then Justin's still standing there on the
- 1:11:43other side. And I'm just like in the
- 1:11:46background of it did. You send that.
- 1:11:49That's so hot. Did.
- 1:11:51You send that to us. I don't, I don't know if I sent
- 1:11:54it. I thought I did.
- 1:11:56I'll throw it into this. The stuff it's also what's.
- 1:12:02Up with the birds. Why birds?
- 1:12:06What birds? You put me with birds screaming.
- 1:12:12Oh no, that was Justin. Did you see the other two?
- 1:12:20I thought he did those. No, and that's his.
- 1:12:26Oh, I thought he did those. No.
- 1:12:29So I got I got the original selfies of the AI images where
- 1:12:36it's just those images, these guys and like our avatars.
- 1:12:43And I just said, I think it was when Catherine O'Hara had passed
- 1:12:53like right next to that. So it was on my mind.
- 1:12:55So I thought the. Crows.
- 1:12:57Yeah, it'd be really funny. I think I literally just told it
- 1:13:01to like, all right, now have a flock of crows attacker and it
- 1:13:05came came up with that. And then I was like, what would
- 1:13:08be funny for me? I was like, trap him in a
- 1:13:10structure fire and that's what it gave for me.
- 1:13:15Love it. And then I put have him running
- 1:13:19from a horde of snakes or some shit and then it gave me Ryan's.
- 1:13:23I honest to God that he sent all of the pictures.
- 1:13:26That's so funny. I don't even know what I was
- 1:13:29doing. I was just like, I want to have
- 1:13:31them. Like where will this go if I
- 1:13:33tell it to like do things? Dude, I I literally said trap
- 1:13:37him in a structure fire and it gave me that picture.
- 1:13:39I was like, that's fucked up. That's way too accurate.
- 1:13:43Yeah, you didn't. You didn't send the one of the
- 1:13:46kissing one. I think that was straight to me.
- 1:13:51That might have been the case, yeah, Since you said that, yeah.
- 1:13:54I did put it in. It was really good.
- 1:13:56I put it in the. Episode 26 media too, so that's
- 1:14:00on the Discord. It's it's fantastic.
- 1:14:06Now make him kiss. That was the only thing I
- 1:14:08responded with. Oh my God.
- 1:14:12Like it's me. It's just another one which is
- 1:14:14so hot, by the way. I kind of wish there was another
- 1:14:16me. You kissing the other you, and
- 1:14:21then me and Ryan are just standing there.
- 1:14:23Also I don't know why when you said make him.
- 1:14:28Yeah, all I said was just make him kiss.
- 1:14:30I didn't say who, I didn't say what.
- 1:14:32So that's all I said. I.
- 1:14:35Don't like the original? Professional Bachelor.
- 1:14:43Yeah, I don't know why when you said make him kiss, it gave us
- 1:14:46like a Hard Country rock logo. Did you notice that with a
- 1:14:51microphone? I don't know why.
- 1:14:54I have like for no reason, it changed it from it changed it
- 1:14:59from like the the text bubbly letters or from like what's
- 1:15:03those little cars that people collect?
- 1:15:05No, but. All I can think about real
- 1:15:07tricks. Yeah, so like the text looks
- 1:15:11like Matchbox or Hot Wheels, like lettering, like the colors,
- 1:15:16everything. And then all you did was say
- 1:15:18make them kiss it. Cloned me.
- 1:15:19That's all I did. Kissed my wife and then for for
- 1:15:23some reason change the logo from matchbox Hot Wheels logo into
- 1:15:28like this country Kid Rock looking microphone thing.
- 1:15:32It's like it's weird. It's like if Kid Rock and Hulk
- 1:15:36Hogan had a baby. It went from like white to gold
- 1:15:41with like a black and red background.
- 1:15:43I think there's like barbed wire wrapped around it or something.
- 1:15:46I I think that's the mic cables. I think you should.
- 1:15:50I think you should put the kissing one as the picture for
- 1:15:55this episode. For this episode, I can do that,
- 1:15:59yeah. The thumbnail, That would be
- 1:16:00fantastic. I can do that.
- 1:16:03I also look displeased with you kissing me.
- 1:16:07With me kissing you, I'm like, what's that?
- 1:16:10Don't like that? Why?
- 1:16:12Yeah, if you zoom in on it, it it kind of looks like your eye
- 1:16:17is kind of partially open and like you're looking out of the
- 1:16:20corner of your eye away from the situation, like at the camera,
- 1:16:27but from like the normal view it your eyes are closed and then
- 1:16:32you're just, I don't know, the other you is just standing there
- 1:16:35like approving of the whole situation.
- 1:16:39I don't know, but I'm turned on. Is this what my voice sounds
- 1:16:45like? All I'm saying is, if we
- 1:16:50replaced every part of me and made a second one, would it be
- 1:16:55me? You know what I'm saying?
- 1:16:56I'm. Not doing this again.
- 1:16:59Hated it.
