- 0:00Speaker 1: Yeah, this is the Mark Simon Show on seven tenoo.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Well it's Friday already. Well remember it's just a four
- 0:15Speaker 1: day week. But we got a lot to get to today,
- 0:18Speaker 1: and it looks like it looks like it's gonna rain
- 0:21Speaker 1: all day. Then it'll stop raining tonight, no rain tonight,
- 0:24Speaker 1: and then tomorrow'll be okay. Sunday, there is a possibility
- 0:28Speaker 1: of snow, but it looks like it's just one to
- 0:29Speaker 1: three inches, maybe one inch, and that storm could change direction,
- 0:33Speaker 1: so we'll keep an eye on that. President Trump has
- 0:36Speaker 1: said Iran has ten to fifteen days, ten to fifteen
- 0:41Speaker 1: days to come to the bargaining table, work out a deal,
- 0:45Speaker 1: or else. Now remember he loves that ten to fifteen days.
- 0:49Speaker 1: He's done that a number of times in other situations.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Ten to fifteen days and then forty eight hours later
- 0:55Speaker 1: he attacks, So don't count in that ten to fifteen days.
- 0:58Speaker 1: A lot of people, this is just Washington rumor at
- 1:01Speaker 1: this point, say Saturdays the day for the attack, but
- 1:05Speaker 1: who knows, who knows? And then some say, well, he
- 1:07Speaker 1: wouldn't do it before the State of the Union. You
- 1:09Speaker 1: never know, You never know with him, they may have
- 1:11Speaker 1: an attack figured out that so precise so clever can't
- 1:14Speaker 1: miss that. They would do it before the State of
- 1:17Speaker 1: the Union. Here's President Trump.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Now is the time for Iran to join us on
- 1:21Speaker 2: a path that will complete what we're doing. And if
- 1:25Speaker 2: they join us, that'll be great.
- 1:26Speaker 1: If they don't join us, that'll be.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Great too, but it would be a very different path.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Now, sometimes he does a little strike, just a little
- 1:35Speaker 1: something to motivate you if you're not quite at the table,
- 1:38Speaker 1: a little strike first, So that could happen Saturday. Warn guys,
- 1:41Speaker 1: is over. That's another word. We'll get to that a
- 1:44Speaker 1: little later. Ten to fifteen days. State of the Union
- 1:49Speaker 1: is Tuesday night, and he's got a lot to talk about.
- 1:52Speaker 1: You know, they've created this whole affordability myth. I mean,
- 1:56Speaker 1: there has been an affordability crisis caused by Joe Biden
- 1:59Speaker 1: where he had inflation up to nine percent, a staggering amount,
- 2:04Speaker 1: and thing's a mess. The President has brought it down.
- 2:07Speaker 1: You got inflation hovering around two and a half percent
- 2:09Speaker 1: now and slowly but surely dropping. The latest report up
- 2:14Speaker 1: a little, but overall down. So he's got to explain
- 2:18Speaker 1: that to the American people, that this affordability crisis that's
- 2:22Speaker 1: been there is getting much better now. He's got to
- 2:25Speaker 1: be careful. Advisors have been telling this, don't say it's solved,
- 2:29Speaker 1: don't say you fixed it, because people still feel it.
- 2:32Speaker 1: So you've got to say, here's what we've gotten done,
- 2:35Speaker 1: here's the improvement. We're not done yet, here's what's coming.
- 2:38Speaker 1: So you got to do it that way. I'll talk
- 2:40Speaker 1: about it Tuesday night.
- 2:41Speaker 2: It would say affordable that everybody would say, oh, Trump's course, No,
- 2:44Speaker 2: they craused, they caused the affordability problem and we've solved
- 2:48Speaker 2: it and we're going still lower, but we've solved it.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. You got to tone that down
- 2:55Speaker 1: for the State of the Union. This is what they're
- 2:57Speaker 1: telling Trump, but you're not always listening to everybody.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Parrotd a mess with high prices and high inflation, and
- 3:03Speaker 2: we've turned it around and we've made it great. And
- 3:05Speaker 2: they don't mention. Like I said before, they don't mention
- 3:09Speaker 2: the word affordability, Kelly, they don't mention. I haven't heard
- 3:13Speaker 2: the word in two weeks.
- 3:14Speaker 1: All right. That's tim ed living. State of the Union
- 3:16Speaker 1: is a written speech. Hopefully it'll be a little a
- 3:19Speaker 1: little more toned down there. A little more on message
- 3:23Speaker 1: on Tuesday night. Hey, the ballroom the Trump wants to
- 3:28Speaker 1: build got a big step forward yesterday. It got approved.
- 3:32Speaker 1: There's two basic steps you got to do to get
- 3:35Speaker 1: the whole thing done. But there's the Washington DC Commission
- 3:40Speaker 1: of Fine Arts. They've got to approve it. Well, they
- 3:42Speaker 1: did unanimously approved the ballroom yesterday. Now he's got to
- 3:46Speaker 1: go to the National Capital Planning Commission and get it
- 3:49Speaker 1: done there on March fifth, and then go ahead. If
- 3:52Speaker 1: you look at what's going on at the ballroom, they've
- 3:55Speaker 1: leveled everything and there's all kinds of construction equipment there.
- 3:58Speaker 1: It's a big construction site. Now they're ready to go.
- 4:01Speaker 1: And Trump is an amazing builder when it comes to speed.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Even his competition will say that. You know, when you
- 4:09Speaker 1: see a Trump building go up in the middle of Manhattan,
- 4:11Speaker 1: the one across from the UN or wherever he's building
- 4:14Speaker 1: a huge skyscraper, it's amazing. Six months later it's there.
- 4:18Speaker 1: I mean, he gets it done very fast and clean
- 4:21Speaker 1: and neat. If you notice first avenue was the un
- 4:25Speaker 1: plazas across the street the Great Apartment Building and a
- 4:29Speaker 1: lot of stuff there, a lot of other buildings that
- 4:30Speaker 1: were concerned about Trump this construction. He basically he took
- 4:34Speaker 1: up about half a lane of the street and got
- 4:37Speaker 1: it done real fast. So you'll see that with the ballroom,
- 4:39Speaker 1: the ballroom. If you get the approval, the ballroom will
- 4:42Speaker 1: be there by the fall. I know, it's hard to believe.
- 4:45Speaker 1: And he says it'll be the most spectacular ballroom ever
- 4:49Speaker 1: built in America. Of course, Democrats will yell and scream,
- 4:52Speaker 1: and one day you're going to get a Democratic president.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Would he have the nerve to tear it down? Because
- 4:58Speaker 1: it's the Trump Ballroom? Would he have the nerve? It's huge,
- 5:01Speaker 1: That's the only thing I don't like. It's too big.
- 5:03Speaker 1: I mean, I guess you got to make it that big.
- 5:05Speaker 1: But if you look at the building, it's like the
- 5:06Speaker 1: same size as the White House in some ways even bigger.
- 5:09Speaker 1: But would a Democrat have the nerve to tear it down?
- 5:14Speaker 1: I don't know. That's a big step. So the latest
- 5:17Speaker 1: on Nancy Guthrie, there is no latest. A couple of
- 5:20Speaker 1: little things. They've increased the reward to two hundred thousand.
- 5:24Speaker 1: That's still very low for such a big case. It's
- 5:29Speaker 1: two hundred thousand right now. The President who's put everything
- 5:34Speaker 1: he's got on. He's got four hundred people on the
- 5:35Speaker 1: ground working on this. He's not happy with the locals,
- 5:40Speaker 1: and he keeps yelling at all the people on the ground,
- 5:42Speaker 1: do more, find more. He doesn't like the local sheriff,
- 5:46Speaker 1: who's a bit of a bumbler. Now, for instance, they've
- 5:50Speaker 1: got some drones flying around with bluetooth something in there.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Apparently they think there's a way they can detect the
- 5:58Speaker 1: pacemaker through bluetooth. So they've got low flying drones going
- 6:02Speaker 1: everywhere seem we can spot that pacemaker. They've announced this,
- 6:05Speaker 1: and as President Trump correctly points out, don't announce that.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Don't tell them what you're going to do. If you
- 6:11Speaker 1: got a clue or some evidence you're looking for, don't
- 6:14Speaker 1: put it out in public and let the criminals know
- 6:16Speaker 1: you're looking for that, because God knows what they do
- 6:19Speaker 1: with that pacemaker if they think it's going to get
- 6:21Speaker 1: them caught. So if you've got this technology, keep it quiet,
- 6:25Speaker 1: just use it. Don't announce it. The sheriff being an
- 6:28Speaker 1: absolute idiot announcing that. The only other thing development You
- 6:32Speaker 1: know that holster in the doorbell video. You could see
- 6:36Speaker 1: that holster, the guy head on the front. Apparently it's
- 6:39Speaker 1: the world's cheapest, crummiest holster. It's as they put it out,
- 6:43Speaker 1: nobody that knows what they're doing would use that holster.
- 6:46Speaker 1: No professional criminal would use that holster. A gun store
- 6:50Speaker 1: wouldn't even bother to carry it. It's just a cheap,
- 6:53Speaker 1: one size fits all holstered, really cheap piece of crap
- 6:56Speaker 1: that you could get on Amazon or something. So they
- 7:00Speaker 1: he's done that. They don't think there's any kind of
- 7:01Speaker 1: professional criminal that knows what they're doing. That's basically about it.
- 7:06Speaker 1: They're trying to get to Mexico to help. They believe
- 7:08Speaker 1: she may be across the border. Apparently Mexican officials not
- 7:12Speaker 1: being too cooperative. Latest on Prince Andrew. He has been released.
- 7:18Speaker 1: They held him there all day. He was in custody
- 7:21Speaker 1: all day long. Apparently Prince Andrew was in bed asleep.
- 7:25Speaker 1: It was eight in the morning. I mean, he's a royal.
- 7:29Speaker 1: You don't have to get up till noon. You got
- 7:31Speaker 1: nothing to do all day. But he was in bed
- 7:32Speaker 1: asleep when all of a sudden, police detectives were shaking
- 7:37Speaker 1: him and waking him up, and apparently he got very upset.
- 7:41Speaker 1: You know, he's Prince Andrew. He's a prince, he's royal.
- 7:44Speaker 1: He's not used to police even having a nerve to
- 7:47Speaker 1: come into his house or his bedroom, but to wake
- 7:49Speaker 1: him up and try to drag him out of bed.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Apparently put up quite a fight. He was not happy
- 7:55Speaker 1: about being bothered by the police. He got very, very aggressive, arrogant,
- 8:00Speaker 1: crazy with them. That maybe the reason they held them
- 8:03Speaker 1: all day. Now they've been going through his houses. He's
- 8:08Speaker 1: got two houses. They've been searching everything. That usually means
- 8:12Speaker 1: taking his computers and looking through his computers, and it's
- 8:15Speaker 1: Prince Andrew. Can you imagine what's in those computers? Imagine
- 8:22Speaker 1: what he has on there? Who knows what kind of porn,
- 8:24Speaker 1: what kind of this, what kind of that? President Trump
- 8:28Speaker 1: asked him about it.
- 8:28Speaker 2: I'm the expert in a way, because I've been totally exonerated.
- 8:31Speaker 1: It's very nice. I can actually speak about it very nicely.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I think it's a shame. I think it's very sad.
- 8:37Speaker 2: I think it's so bad for the royal family.
- 8:40Speaker 1: It's a very very sad.
- 8:41Speaker 2: To me. It's a very sad thing when I see that,
- 8:43Speaker 2: it's a very sad thing.
- 8:46Speaker 1: The last time I remember the Royal family was arrested.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Was four hundred years ago. I hate to say this.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I believe he was executed, the one that was a king, Charles,
- 8:56Speaker 1: the first of them. I think he was executed or
- 8:59Speaker 1: life in prison. It was something very very bad. Now
- 9:03Speaker 1: Andrew is not accused of anything sexual with Epstein in
- 9:08Speaker 1: these charges. This is a different matter. This is all
- 9:11Speaker 1: about he was giving Epstein classified documents. Andrew was at
- 9:18Speaker 1: the time the favorite son of the queen, so she
- 9:22Speaker 1: got him a big job as the trade envoy. He
- 9:26Speaker 1: was not at all qualified for it. Everybody said he's
- 9:29Speaker 1: stunk at the job, but he and they had to
- 9:31Speaker 1: send a lot of professionals with him to work out
- 9:34Speaker 1: these deals all over. He visited all these countries as
- 9:37Speaker 1: the trade envoy, but you had access. He had access
- 9:41Speaker 1: to all the documents. And these are documents that show
- 9:44Speaker 1: what's going to happen around the world, country by country,
- 9:47Speaker 1: what's going to get built, what's going to happen, what's
- 9:49Speaker 1: going to open up. This is very valuable information to
- 9:53Speaker 1: certain business people who could make a fortune with this
- 9:56Speaker 1: advance information. But it's highly classified and they could see
- 10:01Speaker 1: in the Epstein files in writing Andrew passing this stuff
- 10:04Speaker 1: along to Epstein. They both knew it was classified. They
- 10:08Speaker 1: both knew it was top secret. He passed it along
- 10:11Speaker 1: to Epstein numerous times, Epstein passing it along to business people.
- 10:16Speaker 1: It's a kind of a form of insider trading now,
- 10:21Speaker 1: leaking classified information. It's one thing of its military secrets
- 10:24Speaker 1: or the nation's defense. This is all financial stuff, this
- 10:28Speaker 1: is all business stuff, but it's still leaking classified documents.
- 10:31Speaker 1: It's very serious stuff. You go to prison for something
- 10:35Speaker 1: like that. So Andrew's got a major, major, major problem.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Now you heard President Trump saying that clip, Well, I've
- 10:41Speaker 1: been totally exonerated. He's going to say that a lot
- 10:44Speaker 1: because it drives the left nuts. He has been exonerated
- 10:48Speaker 1: in the Epstein stuff in the sense that everybody's been
- 10:53Speaker 1: through the five million pages now, especially the media, especially
- 10:58Speaker 1: Trump's enemies. They can't find a thing in there that's
- 11:01Speaker 1: damaging to Trump. Nothing. And you'll hear on MSNBC they'll
- 11:06Speaker 1: say something like Trump's name comes up in the Epstein
- 11:08Speaker 1: files four hundred and twenty thousand times. Well it does,
- 11:13Speaker 1: but if you look at every one of those times,
- 11:15Speaker 1: it's Epstein bad mouthing Trump. They were big enemies, they
- 11:19Speaker 1: had been friends very early in the Epstein, very early
- 11:23Speaker 1: in the Epstein years when he first got the Palm
- 11:25Speaker 1: Beach and he was friendly with Trump. But as soon
- 11:27Speaker 1: as Trump got got wind of his stuff, he cut
- 11:31Speaker 1: him off immediately. Had didn't speak to him for a
- 11:34Speaker 1: couple of decades, and apparently Epstein was very very bitter
- 11:38Speaker 1: about it. So they became huge enemies. If you read
- 11:41Speaker 1: the Epstein files, and he should, that's fascinating stuff in there.
- 11:45Speaker 1: He just hated Trump. He hated Trump. He was trying
- 11:47Speaker 1: to do everything he could to end Trump. He and
- 11:50Speaker 1: Bannon are plotting on how to get rid of Trump,
- 11:52Speaker 1: the twenty fifth Amendment, that kind of stuff. And then
- 11:55Speaker 1: that Sleezball dirty writer that the fiction writer, Michael Wolfe,
- 12:01Speaker 1: the mill. He was very friendly with Epstein. There's a
- 12:04Speaker 1: million emails back and forth them bad mouthing Trump. So
- 12:07Speaker 1: all that's in there is that Epstein hated Trump and
- 12:10Speaker 1: there were big enemies. So he was exonerated. And when
- 12:13Speaker 1: every time you say that it drives them nuts. Here's
- 12:16Speaker 1: Morning Joe this morning, yelling screaming for ten minutes about
- 12:20Speaker 1: warning Trump not to claim you're totally exonerated. Well, he
- 12:23Speaker 1: is totally exonerated. There's nothing, nothing in those Epstein files
- 12:28Speaker 1: that would harm him in any way. So we'll see
- 12:32Speaker 1: what happens with Prince Andrew. I think the next court
- 12:34Speaker 1: date for him is March fifth. Leslie Wexner is a
- 12:40Speaker 1: billionaire who is very old now he's eighty eight, but
- 12:44Speaker 1: way back when, when he was a guy in his fifties,
- 12:47Speaker 1: he was one of the first billionaires that teamed up
- 12:49Speaker 1: with Epstein and gave him lots of money. In fact,
- 12:52Speaker 1: if you study the whole history of Epstein, there's a
- 12:55Speaker 1: lot of billionaires along the way that helped him become
- 12:58Speaker 1: the multimillionaire of the One of the first was Wexner,
- 13:01Speaker 1: who was a big entrepreneur. He owned the limited Bath
- 13:07Speaker 1: and body Works or whatever that he known Abercrombie and Fitch.
- 13:09Speaker 1: He learned a lot of companies, so he was the
- 13:13Speaker 1: first to pour millions and millions into Epstein's wealth management fund.
- 13:18Speaker 1: He had to testify yesterday. He's eighty eight now and
- 13:22Speaker 1: from what everybody can see, he had nothing to do
- 13:25Speaker 1: with any kind of women, sex, none of that. His
- 13:27Speaker 1: relationship with Epstein was all business. He testified to that
- 13:32Speaker 1: although the Democrats on a committee you know. They asked him,
- 13:35Speaker 1: did you ever have any women that you met through
- 13:38Speaker 1: at No. Then they asked did you ever have sex
- 13:41Speaker 1: with Epstein? He looked at his stunned and said no,
- 13:45Speaker 1: And a couple of times he started to open up
- 13:48Speaker 1: at length, and his lawyer kept getting mad, and at
- 13:50Speaker 1: one point the lawyer said to Wexner, if you blank
- 13:54Speaker 1: and if you efin answer one more question at length
- 13:57Speaker 1: with more than five words, I'm going to kill you now.
- 14:00Speaker 1: They both looked at each other and kind of smiled,
- 14:02Speaker 1: but he made the point. So the hearings will continue.
- 14:06Speaker 1: A big thing will be Hillary and Bill Clinton. They're
- 14:09Speaker 1: gonna have to try to explain why they got so
- 14:12Speaker 1: involved with Epstein. Not just a Bill with girls, but
- 14:15Speaker 1: but Hillary with Epstein getting him to begin and first
- 14:21Speaker 1: fund and help found and start the Clinton Global Initiative.
- 14:25Speaker 1: It was Epstein all involved in that, and if you
- 14:27Speaker 1: read through the documents, you could see that they thought
- 14:31Speaker 1: they were creating the new Davos, the new World Economic Forum.
- 14:35Speaker 1: The Davos is where all the billionaires go in January.
- 14:38Speaker 1: For them, they were trying to create another one of
- 14:40Speaker 1: those events. But unlike Davos, the Clinton one seemed to
- 14:44Speaker 1: be also a very profitable thing. It was supposed to
- 14:47Speaker 1: be the exchange of ideas seemed to be more the
- 14:49Speaker 1: exchange of funds and money. It became a very profitable enterprise.
- 14:54Speaker 1: But Epstein very involved in the creation of the Clinton
- 14:57Speaker 1: Global Initiative. And then she's going to I have to
- 15:00Speaker 1: explain her lies over the last couple of months. Gallaine Maxwell,
- 15:04Speaker 1: when she was asked, she said, I don't don't recall
- 15:07Speaker 1: ever meeting her. I don't really know her. Then they
- 15:11Speaker 1: look at the photos of Chelsea's wedding. There's Gallaid Maxwell
- 15:14Speaker 1: right in the front there at the wedding. Hillary had
- 15:18Speaker 1: a change her story. Well, I may have met her
- 15:21Speaker 1: a couple of times, so she's going to get pinned
- 15:24Speaker 1: down on that. But they got good lawyers. Hillary's not
- 15:27Speaker 1: so great at the committees. Remember she tends to get angry.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Remember the ben Ghazi hearings that you're yelling at. What
- 15:33Speaker 1: difference does it make? So she always loses an hearing.
- 15:36Speaker 1: But Bill Bill Clinton will be perfect. You can ask
- 15:39Speaker 1: that guy anything. He'll talk his way out of anything.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Bill Clinton will just give you one of those well
- 15:44Speaker 1: you know, as you know, I you know when you
- 15:49Speaker 1: do that sounds like you're thinking, but actually you're stalling.
- 15:52Speaker 1: But if you read the the whole story of Epstein,
- 15:56Speaker 1: he's basically the Great Gatsby. It's the same exact story.
- 16:01Speaker 1: It's the same story that everybody knew the guy just
- 16:03Speaker 1: like Gatsby. He was this very wealthy, mysterious guy. But boy,
- 16:08Speaker 1: he threw the most incredible parties, and he lived in
- 16:10Speaker 1: a mansion, and nobody knew where he came from, and
- 16:13Speaker 1: there were always whispers that whatever business he did was
- 16:16Speaker 1: shady sort of. He was exactly the Great Gatsby, exactly
- 16:21Speaker 1: the same, the Great Gatstein. We'll call him the Great Gatstein. Hey,
- 16:25Speaker 1: we'll take some calls. Next, eight hundred three two one
- 16:28Speaker 1: zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two
- 16:31Speaker 1: one zero seven ten
