- 0:30Speaker 2: I want to talk about Twitter and Square to start
- 0:33Speaker 2: the show off. So we've been talking about Square for
- 0:35Speaker 2: the last couple of weeks. Today Jack Dorsey news broke
- 0:38Speaker 2: that Jack Dorsey is stepping down as CEO of Square,
- 0:44Speaker 2: So a, what does that mean? And now is it
- 0:48Speaker 2: is it time to buy Square?
- 0:52Speaker 3: How fitting was it that he put it out in
- 0:53Speaker 3: that tweek? Hey, I heard there was news that I'm leaving.
- 0:59Speaker 3: I am can't tank the stock. You gotta leave on
- 1:03Speaker 3: good terms. You know, short answers. I've been telling you guys,
- 1:07Speaker 3: Squares the new JP Morgan all year. Interesting fact that
- 1:12Speaker 3: I was listening.
- 1:13Speaker 4: To Josh Brown early on CNBC and he was like
- 1:14Speaker 4: when he took over CEO, the stock prices at forty
- 1:18Speaker 4: five eight years ago today it was at forty five bucks.
- 1:22Speaker 4: There is no competitive eventage that Twitter has over Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat,
- 1:28Speaker 4: tender bumble, YouTube, which is part social media. I told you, guys,
- 1:34Speaker 4: see a couple of weeks ago, you see that crystal
- 1:36Speaker 4: ball going real bright, that he was either going to
- 1:40Speaker 4: have to merge them or leave and just run one.
- 1:41Speaker 4: Square would be the obvious pick. The value is a
- 1:44Speaker 4: hell of a lot better. And because of course how
- 1:46Speaker 4: valuable bitcoin and crypto is going, he picked a better
- 1:49Speaker 4: player of the two. That's why I'll tell you guys
- 1:51Speaker 4: like you need a competitive advantage in the business for
- 1:53Speaker 4: it to be viable for you to put all your
- 1:55Speaker 4: time in energy.
- 1:56Speaker 2: And a let me just let me just correction. He
- 1:59Speaker 2: stepped down from two, not square, Twitter, Twitt me, just
- 2:01Speaker 2: let me just correct.
- 2:03Speaker 5: I thought that's what you said.
- 2:04Speaker 2: I said, I said square.
- 2:06Speaker 4: Okay, I'm sorry I had you befuddled by my anger.
- 2:09Speaker 4: I'm good, pineapple juice some straight. I'm not gonna go
- 2:12Speaker 4: off the rails. Shout out to l I. I got
- 2:14Speaker 4: it together. I got the purple in the backfield.
- 2:17Speaker 5: See you all pro But square is made.
- 2:20Speaker 4: I've been telling you guys, forever, and even when PayPal
- 2:22Speaker 4: dropped first, you were like, hey, is Square.
- 2:25Speaker 5: Gonna Square is going to rebound fast. It's a better company.
- 2:29Speaker 4: Hold Square for the next five years and you will
- 2:31Speaker 4: be a Okay, I promise you.
- 2:33Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean you want to.
- 2:35Speaker 3: So the stock open in twenty thirteen at forty one dollars.
- 2:40Speaker 3: It's now at forty five dollars, so you're talking eight
- 2:42Speaker 3: years and the stock is I mean, it hasn't made
- 2:46Speaker 3: any money, right, So if you've had that stock the
- 2:48Speaker 3: entire time, you've gained pretty much nothing. So they just
- 2:52Speaker 3: can't figure out a way. They have a large user base,
- 2:54Speaker 3: they have the biggest, one of the biggest voices in
- 2:56Speaker 3: social media, especially during the presidential but they just didn't
- 3:01Speaker 3: have the money.
- 3:02Speaker 5: So people were like, hey, well he's leaving Twitter. He'll
- 3:05Speaker 5: have more.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Time for Square, right, more time for Square needs more
- 3:09Speaker 3: time for Bitcoin, which he said is if he wasn't
- 3:11Speaker 3: doing either, that's what he would spending his time. So
- 3:14Speaker 3: the rioting's been on the wall, right, So I'm gonna
- 3:15Speaker 3: take you down the timeline right of how they've been.
- 3:19Speaker 3: He's been heading this thing on the whole time. So
- 3:21Speaker 3: in twenty eighteen, Cash app, which is owned by Square,
- 3:24Speaker 3: starts allowing users to buy and sell bitcoin. In July,
- 3:28Speaker 3: they created a new business dedicated to building decentralized finance.
- 3:31Speaker 3: They called it Said to Be Determined, Right was TBD
- 3:37Speaker 3: That was the name of it, right, So was so
- 3:40Speaker 3: focused was making it an easy, permissionless decentralized financial services.
- 3:44Speaker 5: That's in July.
- 3:46Speaker 3: In October, right, they jumped into the bigcoin mining business. Okay,
- 3:50Speaker 3: so there's been signs this whole time. They actually created
- 3:53Speaker 3: a white paper for TBD e X. The next news
- 3:57Speaker 3: that they broke I think that was early this month,
- 3:59Speaker 3: is that they're creating a hardware wallet.
- 4:02Speaker 5: I'm like, Okay, you see where his focus is writing
- 4:07Speaker 5: at at all? Right, Like the writing has been on
- 4:11Speaker 5: the wall.
- 4:11Speaker 3: So if you were thinking, hey, I wonder if he's
- 4:13Speaker 3: going to focus on bitcoin now.
- 4:14Speaker 5: And he has Square, so he's going to focus on that.
- 4:17Speaker 3: They've been putting these signs out there the entire Yeah,
- 4:21Speaker 3: even the deal on the beach. I'll just say that
- 4:25Speaker 3: I was going, I was just going to when you
- 4:27Speaker 3: would like, I'm like, yo, Jay is with Jack Dorsey.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Something's happening, right, And then we sold the title deal
- 4:32Speaker 3: and you broke it down eloquently.
- 4:34Speaker 5: I'm like, oh man, here it comes. And so we've
- 4:37Speaker 5: been saying Square And if.
- 4:38Speaker 3: You were in if you were in the Apollo Theater
- 4:42Speaker 3: on Friday night, I put up on a jumbo tron.
- 4:48Speaker 5: We're gonna go with that.
- 4:50Speaker 3: We're going with that, a big screen. When you looked
- 4:55Speaker 3: at the call that I had, it was what company Square?
- 4:59Speaker 5: Why?
- 4:59Speaker 3: Because as we believe in it, and I told you
- 5:01Speaker 3: my brother Ian has been saying it and I agree
- 5:03Speaker 3: with him. And we told you exactly where I was
- 5:06Speaker 3: going to get it at and how I was looking
- 5:07Speaker 3: at it.
- 5:08Speaker 5: The news breaks today, be ready, y'all.
- 5:11Speaker 2: I spoke about Square on Kenny Burns. Shot to my
- 5:13Speaker 2: brother Kenny Burns. Yeah, shots, Kenny Burns. We spoke about
- 5:16Speaker 2: Square today on Kenny brn Shaw because I knew it
- 5:18Speaker 2: was a trending topic, and we spoke about it, you know,
- 5:20Speaker 2: several different times on market Monday. So yeah, it's been
- 5:23Speaker 2: co Soliday. We said this before, but it's been consolidating
- 5:27Speaker 2: and it is twenty five percent off of it's fifty
- 5:30Speaker 2: two week high.
- 5:30Speaker 5: No way like that.
- 5:32Speaker 2: So b be very mindful of Square if you're interested
- 5:38Speaker 2: in it. Of course, through your research, understand what you're
- 5:40Speaker 2: investing in before you invest.
- 5:41Speaker 5: But can we talk about two.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Or four one or the two areas to get in you,
- 5:48Speaker 4: guys would be good if I made money?
- 5:50Speaker 5: Put yes and chat my.
- 5:52Speaker 3: My dms have been getting flooded. They're yo, Troy, look
- 5:54Speaker 3: at Disney, Look at Disney, Look at Disney. Right, And
- 5:57Speaker 3: I'm like, guys, I think you might be confusing with
- 6:00Speaker 3: the day trader.
- 6:01Speaker 5: Right.
- 6:02Speaker 3: My main focus of even speaking on Friday was to
- 6:05Speaker 3: tell you that the market pays those who were patient. Right,
- 6:08Speaker 3: if that was our number when we said one sixty,
- 6:10Speaker 3: if I see that one forty three shot.
- 6:12Speaker 5: He talks about it all the time. What we're gonna do.
- 6:13Speaker 5: We're gonna average down there, low and behold and low
- 6:18Speaker 5: and behold.
- 6:19Speaker 3: There's this guy on CNBC who has a stock club
- 6:22Speaker 3: now who decides to put Disney as his pick going
- 6:26Speaker 3: forward because shouts of Jim Crave for sure.
- 6:30Speaker 5: Uh, he put it at his pick.
- 6:31Speaker 3: He told his whole club, look, Disney, if you if
- 6:33Speaker 3: you're selling it now, your short vision on it.
- 6:36Speaker 5: Right.
- 6:36Speaker 3: It's kind of one of these companies where and we
- 6:39Speaker 3: know what the new variant, right, we can see things
- 6:42Speaker 3: flipping around and people will concern. But Disney ran up
- 6:46Speaker 3: during the pandemic because of extreaming service. Right, so when
- 6:50Speaker 3: if things open up, and at some point they obviously will,
- 6:54Speaker 3: they already they're ready.
- 6:57Speaker 5: They're already set up to succeed. Right.
- 7:00Speaker 3: They got a whole new cruise line there. They've already
- 7:02Speaker 3: announced with twenty twenty two. I think ninety two percent
- 7:05Speaker 3: of the missions already sold out.
- 7:08Speaker 5: They're primed to have a nice little run and come
- 7:11Speaker 5: back to shou out to everybody that was in there.
- 7:13Speaker 5: You don't have to keep dming me. I see it.
- 7:15Speaker 5: Y'all out to me.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Yeah, shout out to Mickey and Minnie.
- 7:20Speaker 5: Disney said, shout out to me.
- 7:21Speaker 4: I'm like, I'm on energy tonight. We can do that,
- 7:26Speaker 4: Disney one seven h How take Disney needs to get
- 7:29Speaker 4: rid of some of those amusement parks and probably go
- 7:31Speaker 4: down to one, probably the one in Florida.
- 7:33Speaker 5: I know, everybody.
- 7:35Speaker 3: This episode is brought to you by P and C Bank.

- 9:26Speaker 6: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 9:29Speaker 6: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from El Salvador
- 9:33Speaker 6: accused of murdering a Texas. Man of Venezuelan charged with
- 9:38Speaker 6: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 9:42Speaker 6: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 9:45Speaker 6: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy Nohm, the United States
- 9:49Speaker 6: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 9:54Speaker 6: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 9:57Speaker 6: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 10:01Speaker 6: were here illegally, you're next. You will be fine nearly
- 10:05Speaker 6: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned and deported, you will
- 10:09Speaker 6: never return. But if you register using our CBP home app,
- 10:13Speaker 6: and leave now. You could be allowed to return legally,
- 10:16Speaker 6: do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump America's laws,
- 10:21Speaker 6: border and families will.
- 10:23Speaker 4: Be protected sponsored by the United States Department at Homeland Security.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Go to disagree again, somebody else has said, but I'm
- 10:30Speaker 4: telling you now, if they get rid of that and
- 10:32Speaker 4: focus more extreamly, they'll be a okay, hold it for
- 10:35Speaker 4: long term, you guys will be good.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Let's go into this because obviously the Apollo was the
- 10:42Speaker 2: hardest ticket to get.
- 10:44Speaker 5: You to stop hub R.
- 10:46Speaker 2: We didn't make it to stop hub. They was actually
- 10:47Speaker 2: selling tickets on in the after market market.
- 10:51Speaker 5: Yo, now going.
- 10:53Speaker 3: I heard an offer, no joke, I heard an offer
- 10:55Speaker 3: like yo, I'll tell you six hundred right now for
- 10:57Speaker 3: a ticket.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I definitely saw it. Tickets on stuff of about
- 11:01Speaker 2: three fifty four hundred. We made it, you know, my
- 11:08Speaker 2: model pretty gotcha. So, so what are some of the
- 11:13Speaker 2: biggest lessons A few, you know, obviously we can't go
- 11:16Speaker 2: through the whole show, but what are some of the
- 11:17Speaker 2: biggest lessons from the Apollo for people that were not
- 11:21Speaker 2: able to attend.
- 11:23Speaker 3: I'll start because mine is very quick, and then I'll
- 11:25Speaker 3: share something really good. And I said it earlier. The
- 11:28Speaker 3: market pays those who are patient, and I went into
- 11:31Speaker 3: a detailed story of how it can do that. And
- 11:33Speaker 3: so again when we're talking about Disney these other we're
- 11:36Speaker 3: not I'm not trading that on a daily basis. What
- 11:38Speaker 3: I'm really doing is creating a foundation for my children
- 11:42Speaker 3: and their children going forward. Right, we're going to hold
- 11:44Speaker 3: these stocks, And I know Ian says five to twenty years,
- 11:46Speaker 3: but I'm like, look, my kids should be living past
- 11:48Speaker 3: twenty years, and so I want to make sure they're okay.
- 11:51Speaker 5: And I want to give a huge shout out to Tailor.
- 11:53Speaker 5: Shout out to Tailor child to Chuck.
- 11:55Speaker 3: He called me today and he was like, look, I
- 11:58Speaker 3: heard what you said when I came over and you
- 12:00Speaker 3: were teaching me how to invest, and he said, I
- 12:03Speaker 3: was down. I was down like a couple thousand dollars,
- 12:06Speaker 3: but I kept hearing you said, look to the script.
- 12:08Speaker 5: The script.
- 12:09Speaker 3: Today he called me said, look, my account is up
- 12:11Speaker 3: one hundred and fifty percent. I said, look, that's what
- 12:15Speaker 3: I was preaching.
- 12:16Speaker 5: Man.
- 12:16Speaker 3: The market will pay those who was patient if you
- 12:18Speaker 3: make the right investment, if you do the research, you
- 12:21Speaker 3: study your fundamentals and your technicals. Trust what you do.
- 12:25Speaker 3: That is the problem. I made that mistake early in investment.
- 12:27Speaker 3: I didn't trust what I was doing. I felt a
- 12:30Speaker 3: little unsure because there was nobody around me doing some
- 12:33Speaker 3: of the investments I was doing. We now have a
- 12:35Speaker 3: community of people who have a similar vision who can
- 12:37Speaker 3: actually give you feedback and actually give you pointers on
- 12:40Speaker 3: how to invest and not confirm, but will give you
- 12:43Speaker 3: guidance when you're unsure. And so shout out to everybody
- 12:48Speaker 3: in this community and others. But trust your research and
- 12:51Speaker 3: please be patient with your investments.
- 12:55Speaker 4: Absolutely, absolutely, Shody was your biggest sect way sty ready
- 13:00Speaker 4: go stuff for six hundred boy, y'all better.
- 13:06Speaker 5: Not let me do the pricing.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Listen, you know, of course I talked about the Rashad
- 13:11Speaker 2: ten twenty thirty rule. I have decided to coin.
- 13:16Speaker 5: I have decided to coin, yea, I have Why not?
- 13:18Speaker 1: Yo?
- 13:21Speaker 5: Yo? When I saw that tweet, I'm like, well, shot said,
- 13:24Speaker 5: I'm like what why not? Why? Yeah? But nah, I
- 13:27Speaker 5: think it was dope because I'm like, don't gloss over that.
- 13:29Speaker 3: I think that's a great way for people who don't
- 13:31Speaker 3: really know how to invest, beginner.
- 13:33Speaker 5: It's like that's pretty simplified, right.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Yeah, the tenth. The Rashads ten twenty thirty rule is
- 13:40Speaker 2: if a stock is at its all time I look
- 13:42Speaker 2: for ten percent drop as a decent buying price, twenty
- 13:45Speaker 2: percent drop as a good prior in price, and thirty
- 13:47Speaker 2: percent drop as an excellent buying price, and then you
- 13:50Speaker 2: can dollar cost down. If you're not one hundred percent
- 13:52Speaker 2: confident in the situation, you can always dollar costs down
- 13:54Speaker 2: into a position as long as it's a good position.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Because your dollar costs down into like doge coin, you
- 13:59Speaker 2: beat dollar cost averaging down.
- 14:01Speaker 4: So he only knows about stalks. I just want to
- 14:09Speaker 4: make y'all rich man. Also, if y'all just listen to me,
- 14:12Speaker 4: got to be straight.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Man, don't don't dollar cost average. And for anybody that's
- 14:16Speaker 2: not familiar with dollar cost averaging down is AMD is
- 14:19Speaker 2: a perfect example of that. Right. So I had I
- 14:21Speaker 2: have an a M D option and I was down
- 14:24Speaker 2: fifty percent, and it was pretty It wasn't a little
- 14:26Speaker 2: bit of money a substantial amount of money a couple
- 14:28Speaker 2: of months ago, but from looking at the charts knowing
- 14:31Speaker 2: that it was moving sideways for about six months, it
- 14:33Speaker 2: was consolidated. From understanding you know that there's a chip shortage.
- 14:37Speaker 2: From understanding that AMB has a strong history, I still
- 14:41Speaker 2: had confidence even though I was down fifty percent. So
- 14:44Speaker 2: what did I do. I doubled my my position. I
- 14:47Speaker 2: added more money, substantial add a substantial amount of money more.
- 14:52Speaker 5: Good.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Today I'm up three hundred percent on that position. So
- 14:55Speaker 2: that's what that's. So when you dollar costs down, it
- 14:58Speaker 2: by it brings your buy in price lower. So you
- 15:01Speaker 2: can do that with just regular stock. You can do
- 15:02Speaker 2: that with options. But you know that's that's what we
- 15:05Speaker 2: mean by dollar cost averaging downwards. So if you are
- 15:10Speaker 2: invested in a strong company that you believe in and
- 15:12Speaker 2: you're down, it's not the end of the world. Don't panic.
- 15:15Speaker 2: It might actually be if it's yeah, only if it's good.
- 15:18Speaker 2: If it's good, it's good.
- 15:20Speaker 4: By a terrible company underneath fifty dollars and think that
- 15:23Speaker 4: everything is going to be Okay, go google what Martin
- 15:25Speaker 4: Galen is. It is the same thing. But you should
- 15:29Speaker 4: not average down more than twice.
- 15:31Speaker 5: Yeah, it's not good.
- 15:33Speaker 2: And I asked other people's the opinion. I definitely asked
- 15:35Speaker 2: Ian his opinion. I talk to Troy every day, so
- 15:38Speaker 2: I always ask Troy his opinion and I'm not you know,
- 15:40Speaker 2: I don't have a high level of pride when it
- 15:43Speaker 2: comes to that. I don't want to know other people.
- 15:45Speaker 2: I'll talk to trap if I you know anybody, Jamal, anybody.
- 15:48Speaker 2: I ask people though, so you know, yeah, it's good
- 15:53Speaker 2: to have good resources and good friends. So yeah, that's
- 15:56Speaker 2: that's dollar cost down. And then I spoke about rob.
- 15:59Speaker 2: I want to talk about that now, Yeah that was
- 16:02Speaker 2: that was that was a nuclear weapon. I just want
- 16:04Speaker 2: to say that I did speak about it.
- 16:05Speaker 5: Okay, don't plan it.
- 16:07Speaker 2: So yeah, maybe later on we'll talk about that. But Ian,
- 16:09Speaker 2: what was it for you?
- 16:11Speaker 4: A couple of lessons if I can do two. One
- 16:15Speaker 4: kudos to I got prom from dream Team. I marry
- 16:18Speaker 4: your target. So for those of you that are trading,
- 16:21Speaker 4: you have to pick one target and stick to it
- 16:23Speaker 4: for four years, no matter what. If you're gonna stick
