- 0:00Speaker 1: Back to it. NewsRadio 570 WQEN G2.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Hello. Good evening, Ron. How are you?
- 0:07Speaker 1: I am well. What do you make of it all?
- 0:11Speaker 3: Let's start with some assessments as to the latest happenings.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Trump in China. How's the war situation looking?
- 0:19Speaker 1: Comments, thoughts, perspective.
- 0:22Speaker 2: I think it's going to be interesting to see what
- 0:24Speaker 2: comes out of this China trip. And I haven't been
- 0:28Speaker 2: studying all the media today, so I don't know what
- 0:30Speaker 2: they're saying, what they're lying about, where they're telling the truth.
- 0:33Speaker 2: But outside, I heard they were lying about one of
- 0:38Speaker 2: the Trump boys, but I don't know what that's about.
- 0:41Speaker 2: But the reality is that that Chinese economy is heavily
- 0:46Speaker 2: dependent upon exports to the United States and Europe. We
- 0:49Speaker 2: all know that. It's also heavily dependent upon oil from Iran.
- 0:54Speaker 2: We all know that. So here these guys are sitting
- 0:57Speaker 2: in a situation where they're dealing with Trump, who has
- 1:01Speaker 2: both his finger on their lifeblood from the revenue side,
- 1:06Speaker 2: you know, their sales into the United States and virtually
- 1:09Speaker 2: everything that our corporate masters transferred into that country, and
- 1:14Speaker 2: he's now got his finger on the thumb, or his
- 1:17Speaker 2: finger on the flow of oil that makes that economy work.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Now you mix that into an economy that's you know,
- 1:25Speaker 2: got some issues, right? Growth has slowed. It's still growing
- 1:29Speaker 2: at a healthy rate, but it's slowed. You know, Europe's
- 1:32Speaker 2: economies are struggling. They're in trouble from an energy standpoint.
- 1:37Speaker 2: And it certainly does not appear that China is a
- 1:43Speaker 2: sort of, you know, blood brother ally to the Iranians,
- 1:46Speaker 2: as evidenced by the fact that they've done very, very
- 1:48Speaker 2: little to help them in this war. Now, again, as
- 1:52Speaker 2: we've said before, Why would you want, if you're Xi
- 1:54Speaker 2: Jinping or anyone in China, why would you want Iran
- 1:57Speaker 2: to have a nuclear weapon? No reason. You wouldn't. It
- 2:01Speaker 2: would be foolish. Because, of course, they know what this
- 2:06Speaker 2: Iranian regime is, what it's all about. There's no strategic
- 2:09Speaker 2: or tactical advantage to China to having these fundamentalist Islamists
- 2:14Speaker 2: that control Iran have nuclear weapons. So I think this
- 2:19Speaker 2: is one of the most interesting... junctures of economics and
- 2:24Speaker 2: politics and trade and war and energy that we could
- 2:28Speaker 2: possibly have and i i i'm anxious to see how
- 2:30Speaker 2: this unfolds over the next few weeks whatever the words
- 2:33Speaker 2: are that are spoken you know these kind words about
- 2:35Speaker 2: it you know whatever i want to see what they
- 2:38Speaker 2: do because i could tell you that if china brings
- 2:41Speaker 2: pressure to iran telling them listen you know we also
- 2:46Speaker 2: say it's time for you to to stop And remember,
- 2:50Speaker 2: the settlement with Iran actually costs them nothing. If you settle,
- 2:56Speaker 2: the Strait of Hormuz is open and you begin to
- 2:58Speaker 2: collect your $ 400 or $ 500 million a day. If you settle,
- 3:03Speaker 2: you won't get a nuclear weapon, but you don't have
- 3:06Speaker 2: one now. You don't give anything up because you don't
- 3:08Speaker 2: have one now. And if you settle, you get rid
- 3:11Speaker 2: of the threat that the world attacks you because they're
- 3:13Speaker 2: afraid you're getting a nuclear weapon, which, you know, two-thirds
- 3:17Speaker 2: of the world is dedicated to you not having it.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I mean, it just is a no-brainer for these people
- 3:23Speaker 2: to say, that's a really good deal for us. Now,
- 3:27Speaker 2: that takes away the fundamentalist Islamist thought that their primary
- 3:31Speaker 2: goal in life is to destroy the United States and
- 3:33Speaker 2: Israel and, you know, be able to conquer, you know, Europe,
- 3:39Speaker 2: for example. But they're conquering Europe without having any need
- 3:42Speaker 2: of nuclear weapons. And there's another factor, too. Is any
- 3:45Speaker 2: of this lack of nuclear weapons stopping... islamists from conquering
- 3:49Speaker 2: the west well clearly not the government of birmingham the
- 3:53Speaker 2: second largest uh... city in in england was just conquered
- 3:58Speaker 2: by islamic in the last election cycle they've taken full
- 4:01Speaker 2: control of the government of birmingham they've had eleven years
- 4:04Speaker 2: or so with this radical city con running london so
- 4:07Speaker 2: think about that as well they have no tactical offensive
- 4:11Speaker 2: need to have a weapon to conquer europe they could
- 4:15Speaker 2: just walk in And what is his name, Pedro Sanchez
- 4:18Speaker 2: or whatever it is, the guy that's running Spain right now,
- 4:21Speaker 2: he's their doorman. I mean, that clown, that traitor, that
- 4:25Speaker 2: demon is standing there holding the door to Europe open
- 4:28Speaker 2: and saying, listen, you know, the Moors couldn't do it
- 4:31Speaker 2: in 732, but here's what we're going to do. We're
- 4:34Speaker 2: going to not only open the door for you, we're
- 4:35Speaker 2: going to write you a check for every soldier you send. And,
- 4:40Speaker 2: you know, look, we've got a lot of chicks in
- 4:41Speaker 2: this town. You can come and have what you want.
- 4:43Speaker 2: These guys are flooding into Europe to conquer it. So
- 4:48Speaker 2: they don't need a nuke to do that. So what
- 4:52Speaker 2: do they give up if they settle? Well, just the
- 4:55Speaker 2: ability to someday sit at the table of nuclear nations. Okay.
- 5:00Speaker 2: The last group of people who wanted to do that
- 5:01Speaker 2: are now all dead. Right? So I know that there's
- 5:06Speaker 2: a lot of turmoil and anarchy inside Iran, and I
- 5:08Speaker 2: know we can't see very clearly into Iran. Probably at
- 5:12Speaker 2: this point only Mossad can't. And I'm guessing Mossad has
- 5:14Speaker 2: pretty good visibility into what's going on in Iran, but
- 5:17Speaker 2: they're not going to share it with us unless it
- 5:19Speaker 2: helps their political and tactical and strategic goals. So, you know,
- 5:24Speaker 2: if we're learning from Mossad, true, not true, it's going
- 5:27Speaker 2: to be whatever they want. So let's say then that China,
- 5:32Speaker 2: realizing that this war could be extended another couple of
- 5:35Speaker 2: months and now they're going to be eating into that
- 5:37Speaker 2: 100 to 120-day supply of reserves they have, and that
- 5:42Speaker 2: their economy is going to start slowing down because Europe's
- 5:45Speaker 2: not getting the energy it needs. It's in trouble. It
- 5:47Speaker 2: was in trouble before. I mean, there's a lot of
- 5:50Speaker 2: potential pressure to be brought to bear on this. And
- 5:54Speaker 2: while I'm, you know, like not a fan of all
- 5:57Speaker 2: these tech weirdos that run these big companies that are
- 6:01Speaker 2: creating the digital control grid to monitor our lives and
- 6:03Speaker 2: that sell our data around and spy on us every
- 6:06Speaker 2: minute of the day, I think it probably was a
- 6:08Speaker 2: smart move to take them with him to China so
- 6:11Speaker 2: that trump wasn't sitting there speaking to china while they
- 6:16Speaker 2: wondered if he was in communications with their major employer
- 6:21Speaker 2: you know the tech industry the united states upon two
- 6:23Speaker 2: billion and billions of dollars in the china every year
- 6:25Speaker 2: but they actually flew over with it he's now brought
- 6:29Speaker 2: art you know these these packed nightmares with him and
- 6:33Speaker 2: while it may be a pit of vipers in the
- 6:35Speaker 2: middle of that pit of vipers since donald trump negotiating
- 6:39Speaker 2: deals I think he wants this war over. And I'm
- 6:44Speaker 2: not sure who said what earlier, because there's some things
- 6:48Speaker 2: I caught and didn't. But I don't see any prospect
- 6:51Speaker 2: of him deciding to send soldiers on the ground any
- 6:54Speaker 2: more today than we did a week ago or two
- 6:57Speaker 2: months ago. But short of deploying U.S. ground forces, they've
- 7:03Speaker 2: already inflicted billions and billions of dollars of damage on Iran,
- 7:07Speaker 2: destroyed huge elements of its military. not effectively destroying its
- 7:13Speaker 2: ground troops. Its ground forces are still in pretty good shape,
- 7:17Speaker 2: but really destroying a lot of it. And, you know,
- 7:21Speaker 2: you notice they're not nearly as belligerent today as they
- 7:25Speaker 2: might otherwise be. So we see a lot of good
- 7:27Speaker 2: positive signs in this war. You see Saudi and UAE
- 7:32Speaker 2: pumping as much as they can, getting it out to
- 7:34Speaker 2: market around the Strait of Hormuz, not through it. The
- 7:37Speaker 2: United States reaching crazy levels of unprecedented production. So the
- 7:42Speaker 2: energy markets are not as bad as they would otherwise be. It's,
- 7:47Speaker 2: what is it now, like a 6 million barrel shortage
- 7:49Speaker 2: now out of 105? This is called 6% for round numbers,
- 7:54Speaker 2: 7 maybe. That's a big problem in any commodity market,
- 8:00Speaker 2: and it's going to cause shortages in some places, but
- 8:04Speaker 2: the use of that material will be prioritized into its
- 8:06Speaker 2: most critical elements and the other impact will be minimized
- 8:10Speaker 2: out a hundred dollar hundred five hundred ten dollar oil
- 8:14Speaker 2: we're not looking at any relief at the pump anytime
- 8:17Speaker 2: soon but another another thing i keep hearing that i
- 8:21Speaker 2: don't understand is that people keep saying well the price
- 8:24Speaker 2: of oil goes up very quickly but if this thing
- 8:27Speaker 2: ends and saudi keeps pumping and uae keeps pumping the
- 8:30Speaker 2: united states keep pumping russia increasing production now other countries
- 8:35Speaker 2: increasing production Somehow that's not going to have an impact
- 8:38Speaker 2: on the market. Somehow the prices aren't going to come down.
- 8:41Speaker 2: This I don't understand because we've seen the market go
- 8:44Speaker 2: down over and over and over again. Yes, there are
- 8:48Speaker 2: speculators that have bought cargos at very high numbers. They've
- 8:52Speaker 2: got forwards at numbers that will be upside down, you know,
- 8:57Speaker 2: as soon as this war ends. But I just don't
- 8:59Speaker 2: understand how it is that the world's going to keep
- 9:01Speaker 2: pumping all this oil. You open up the strait and
- 9:04Speaker 2: all that trapped oil comes available and And somehow prices
- 9:08Speaker 2: don't come down. I think they will move down. I
- 9:10Speaker 2: think they'll move down with relative haste. And we will
- 9:14Speaker 2: see the world's economic engine begin to engage again at
- 9:18Speaker 2: a higher level. So that's where I see it. I'm
- 9:22Speaker 2: anxious to watch the next few days and weeks and
- 9:26Speaker 2: see what China comes up with. What are we now in? Well,
- 9:29Speaker 2: we're in week seven, is it, of this war? So
- 9:32Speaker 2: it's a pretty short engagement so far. I don't think
- 9:35Speaker 2: anybody's anticipating a 20-year engagement or a 10-year engagement or
- 9:39Speaker 2: even a five-year engagement. And I don't think Iran can
- 9:42Speaker 2: hold out that long because, as I always say, the
- 9:46Speaker 2: cost of tyranny is high. And if you're losing $ 400
- 9:49Speaker 2: million to $ 500 million of oil revenue a day, and
- 9:51Speaker 2: that's the majority of your exports, you're going to have
- 9:54Speaker 2: a hard time maintaining your firm grip on control of
- 9:58Speaker 2: your country when there's no money to pay anyone when
- 10:03Speaker 2: fundamental goods aren't showing up when you've lost a lot
- 10:08Speaker 2: of your military positions where you've had this turnover now
- 10:12Speaker 2: let's call it two rows deep into leadership that's a
- 10:15Speaker 2: heck of a hard position to be in and I'm
- 10:17Speaker 2: glad it's them and not us So that's kind of
- 10:21Speaker 2: where I'm at right now. I'm anxious to stand by
- 10:25Speaker 2: and see what comes.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Every day's an adventure, G2.
- 10:29Speaker 4: It is.
- 10:30Speaker 2: We live in an absolutely fascinating time. It'd be nice
- 10:33Speaker 2: if the stakes weren't so high. And just to that point, remember,
- 10:38Speaker 2: in my view, there's nothing in Iran or China or
- 10:42Speaker 2: Russia or even Europe that's our greatest threat. that matches
- 10:46Speaker 2: the threat we have from our enemies domestic and their
- 10:48Speaker 2: attempt to destroy the systems that made this country so
- 10:51Speaker 2: great for the two hundred fifty years there is no
- 10:55Speaker 2: threat on this earth as dangerous to the united states
- 10:58Speaker 2: and to the american people at least radical leftists bizarre
- 11:04Speaker 2: democrat ideology that they've adopted now i was talking to
- 11:07Speaker 2: somebody about barbara jordan if you remember if barbara jordan
- 11:13Speaker 2: The famous Democrat, for those who don't remember her, she
- 11:15Speaker 2: was from California, I believe, and she did some fantastic
- 11:18Speaker 2: speeches on immigration. If Barbara Jordan was alive today, they'd
- 11:22Speaker 2: be calling her an alt-right radical. She would be a MAGA.
- 11:27Speaker 2: What is that Ted Cole all-time MAGA cult? She'd be
- 11:31Speaker 2: in the MAGA cult? I mean, if Barbara Jordan was
- 11:37Speaker 2: reincarnated and showed up today... at a Democrat rally, they
- 11:42Speaker 2: would kill her. Because, as you know, they're full of hate. So,
- 11:47Speaker 2: you know, it's just interesting to see how all this
- 11:49Speaker 2: has changed. And again, there is no threat on this Earth,
- 11:54Speaker 2: to this United States, as dangerous as these lunatics inside
- 12:00Speaker 2: this nation's borders.
- 12:04Speaker 1: The enemy within.
- 12:04Speaker 2: The enemy within.
- 12:07Speaker 5: Hmm.
- 12:10Speaker 2: And they want us divided, right? Race, gender, who do
- 12:13Speaker 2: you want to have sex with? Oh, let's separate you
- 12:16Speaker 2: on that. I mean, I know people that are gay
- 12:18Speaker 2: that think that Christians want to kill them. And they're
- 12:20Speaker 2: totally sincere and they believe it. I mean, they want
- 12:24Speaker 2: us divided into as many little pieces as they can because,
- 12:26Speaker 2: of course, as we've said before, e pluribus unum turns
- 12:31Speaker 2: around to e unum pluribus, right, out of one many.
- 12:34Speaker 2: And they know that to destroy the United States, to
- 12:37Speaker 2: get control of the carcass that's left, you've got to
- 12:42Speaker 2: defy this country's people.
- 12:47Speaker 1: And it seems, and bring a bunch of people in.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you've got to replace them because..
- 12:53Speaker 3: I mean, remember when they said the replacement theory was
- 12:55Speaker 3: a crazy conspiracy theory? And yet you see it all
- 13:00Speaker 3: over the world.
- 13:02Speaker 2: And it's in a UN document. I mean, I was
- 13:05Speaker 2: reading it. The replacement theory is written down and published
- 13:14Speaker 2: by the United Nations. It's not even a theory. It
- 13:20Speaker 2: is a conspiracy, but it is in fact not a theory.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Well, look around. You're living it. You see it happening.
- 13:26Speaker 3: They're watering down your influence, your citizenship, by bringing others
- 13:31Speaker 3: in and changing the dynamics of your community.
- 13:36Speaker 2: They wrote it down they talked about it at conferences
- 13:39Speaker 2: and then they did it and people say but why why.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Would they want to do that and that's how you
- 13:44Speaker 1: get elon omar in congress.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Absolutely right so you put them in concentration in places
- 13:51Speaker 2: where they don't have to assimilate so that they can
- 13:54Speaker 2: then begin to affect the politics local school boards and
- 13:58Speaker 2: national from those from those readouts those those uh... uh...
- 14:04Speaker 2: you know from the keep inside their castle So why
- 14:09Speaker 2: would they do that? Like, what's so bad about these
- 14:11Speaker 2: Europeans and Americans? Why do you hate Irish so much
- 14:15Speaker 2: that you want to bring in 5 million Indians and
- 14:16Speaker 2: permanently change that country? Well, it's pretty clear. You know, since,
- 14:22Speaker 2: what was it, 1250? The people of the West have accepted,
- 14:25Speaker 2: or expected, rather, to have a voice in their government.
- 14:28Speaker 2: They reject, as a matter of custom, they reject government corruption,
- 14:33Speaker 2: even though we see it all around us. We're not
- 14:35Speaker 2: doing anything about it. they they do not accept feudalism
- 14:40Speaker 2: in a plot many revolutions get over it to get
- 14:43Speaker 2: away from it including the one that was successful here
- 14:46Speaker 2: so this idea that you know that this political class
- 14:50Speaker 2: can put it into a situation of tyranny where they're
- 14:52Speaker 2: going to sit on top of the tyrant you know
- 14:56Speaker 2: where problem we don't accept that but if you bring
- 14:59Speaker 2: people in from the middle east they have no idea
- 15:02Speaker 2: what you're talking about if you talk about freedom and
- 15:04Speaker 2: prosperity I mean, they know prosperity from selling oil to
- 15:07Speaker 2: the West, but they don't understand economic freedom. They don't
- 15:10Speaker 2: understand personal freedom. They don't understand, in most countries, security
- 15:13Speaker 2: and safety. They definitely understand and expect and accept tyranny,
- 15:19Speaker 2: because every one of their countries is tyrannical. And corruption
- 15:23Speaker 2: isn't just accepted. It is expected. It is anticipated that
- 15:28Speaker 2: if you get elected to the school board of the township,
- 15:32Speaker 2: you are going to take money from the school board
- 15:33Speaker 2: of the township. You're going to steal it. It's in
- 15:36Speaker 2: much of the world's cultures. This may seem foreign to people,
- 15:38Speaker 2: but it's true. If you talk to people in certain
- 15:42Speaker 2: countries that get, let's say, put into a role where
- 15:44Speaker 2: they're an engineering manager with a procurement role, it is
- 15:48Speaker 2: expected that the vendors will pay them a fee to
- 15:52Speaker 2: get that contract. It's built into the pricing. So it's
- 15:57Speaker 2: hard for us culturally to understand that. But if you
- 16:00Speaker 2: are one of these lunatics that want to be dominating
- 16:04Speaker 2: the globe with you and your sick friends that hang
- 16:06Speaker 2: out at places like Epstein's Island and that weird castle
- 16:09Speaker 2: in Eyes Wide Shut, if you're one of them, well,
- 16:13Speaker 2: then you absolutely think, first of all, you could replace
- 16:16Speaker 2: all these stubborn Westerners with more compliant people from the
- 16:20Speaker 2: third world who will do anything for one more grain
- 16:23Speaker 2: of rice or one more tortilla. And who will accept
- 16:26Speaker 2: anything you do, whether it be corruption or maybe having
- 16:31Speaker 2: crazy parties on an island with underage people. So that's
- 16:35Speaker 2: what they want. That's the ultimate goal, a feudalist system
- 16:38Speaker 2: where these masters of our new paradigm, the masters of
- 16:44Speaker 2: our new reality, are free of ethical, moral, and legal
- 16:48Speaker 2: restrictions and have access to unlimited wealth.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Back in a minute.
- 16:55Speaker 6: News Radio 570 WKBN.
- 16:57Speaker 3: With the G2, why do people like Tucker Carlson say
- 17:00Speaker 3: that the spender of the house is the worst one
- 17:06Speaker 3: at his job?
- 17:08Speaker 2: Well, first of all, he gets a robust competition between
- 17:12Speaker 2: the spender of the house and the trader Foon.
- 17:15Speaker 7: Right.
- 17:16Speaker 1: I mean, these two guys. Give me your thoughts on
- 17:19Speaker 1: why do they say that?
- 17:23Speaker 2: Why do we call them that?
- 17:24Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 17:25Speaker 2: You know, first of all, these two people have fought
- 17:29Speaker 2: against every element of the American agenda. They lie to
- 17:32Speaker 2: us on a regular basis, and they trot out silly
- 17:35Speaker 2: things like, we always talk about this, the filibuster and
- 17:39Speaker 2: the parliamentarian in the Senate, neither of which is in
- 17:43Speaker 2: the Constitution, to say that, well, we just can't save
- 17:46Speaker 2: this country. Sorry, it's too hard. And it's unacceptable. So
- 17:51Speaker 2: I don't know whether they're the worst because it's been
- 17:53Speaker 2: a long line of treachery and treason and failure and
- 17:58Speaker 2: refusal to represent the people. But I will say that
- 18:01Speaker 2: if the American people don't stand up and start demanding
- 18:03Speaker 2: representation from Republicans and Democrats, I mean, not representation for
- 18:09Speaker 2: the big oligarchs, not representation for the AI companies, not
- 18:13Speaker 2: representation for China or India, representation for the United States citizens.
- 18:18Speaker 2: for our economic and constitutional protections, our economic interest and cultural.
- 18:24Speaker 2: If we don't do that, we're done. And right now,
- 18:27Speaker 2: I can't point to any more than a handful of
- 18:30Speaker 2: people in Congress who represent the United States citizen.
- 18:36Speaker 3: Very troubling. Very, very troubling. I mean, to get the
- 18:41Speaker 3: America First agenda somewhat in concrete so the next president
- 18:46Speaker 3: just can't over- do away with the executive orders, whoever
- 18:50Speaker 3: that might be.
- 18:50Speaker 2: That's right. And we're blaming Trump for this, and he
- 18:54Speaker 2: deserves some blame. But the truth is, this is the
- 18:58Speaker 2: Republicans and Democrats in Congress conspiring against us on a
- 19:02Speaker 2: daily basis. That's why I said what I said on Wednesday,
- 19:05Speaker 2: which is, if we want to pass an election security
- 19:09Speaker 2: bill like the Save America Act, we should build into
- 19:12Speaker 2: it a commission for Congress. Rather than sending all these
- 19:15Speaker 2: billions and billions to some NGOs, that have to filter
- 19:18Speaker 2: it through different companies and pay people's cousins. Let's just
- 19:22Speaker 2: pay them a commission. Let's put a million dollars in
- 19:25Speaker 2: that bill for every member of Congress, not bribe, it's
- 19:28Speaker 2: in the law, put it in the law, and pay
- 19:30Speaker 2: them each a million dollars to represent the American people.
- 19:33Speaker 2: At this point, we can't compete. As a matter of fact,
- 19:36Speaker 2: Spender Johnson just went out to the podium and explained
- 19:40Speaker 2: why they have to do insider trading, which would put
- 19:43Speaker 2: any of you in jail. They have to do that
- 19:45Speaker 2: because they're not paid enough. AOC made the same claim
- 19:48Speaker 2: a few years ago. So let's just take them at
- 19:50Speaker 2: their word. They're doing this because they want the money.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Other people pay them more than us. So let's put
- 19:58Speaker 2: a million dollars for each member of Congress to be
- 20:00Speaker 2: paid to them or their designee, half up front and
- 20:04Speaker 2: half over four years, even if they leave Congress. As
- 20:08Speaker 2: long as they don't do anything to weaken our election security,
- 20:10Speaker 2: put that in the Save America Act, and the cost
- 20:13Speaker 2: is $ 535 million, and we get election security, which is
- 20:17Speaker 2: one of the most critical elements of saving this country.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Let's just pay these criminals.
- 20:23Speaker 3: I think I hear a little bit of sarcasm here,
- 20:26Speaker 3: but the reality is, I hope, but the reality is
- 20:29Speaker 3: they should be doing the right thing without being.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Bribed.
- 20:34Speaker 2: They should. Yeah, they should be, but they're not going to.
- 20:36Speaker 2: And again, Johnson just said it. We have to use
- 20:40Speaker 2: cheating in the stock market to make money because you
- 20:42Speaker 2: don't pay us enough.
- 20:44Speaker 1: But if you Joe Bagadonis would do that, you would
- 20:46Speaker 1: go to jail.
- 20:48Speaker 2: And you may make a lot less than he makes.
- 20:50Speaker 2: But here's what he said. You're not going to get
- 20:53Speaker 2: this quality of representation. We're going to have a downgrade
- 20:56Speaker 2: in the quality of people that go to Congress. Can
- 20:58Speaker 2: you explain to me how that gets worse? Worse than this? No,
- 21:04Speaker 2: there's no sarcasm. I'm telling you I think we should
- 21:06Speaker 2: put a million dollars in that bill for every one
- 21:08Speaker 2: of these people. And I think we should pay it
- 21:12Speaker 2: to them in cash. Again, remember their designee. Have over
- 21:15Speaker 2: four years. And for the next bill we need, put
- 21:17Speaker 2: another million in. Because they're getting paid by K Street.
- 21:22Speaker 2: They're getting paid by the lobbyists. They're getting paid through
- 21:24Speaker 2: stock tips. Remember how this works, right? Congress does a
- 21:27Speaker 2: favor for a company. The company then gives a stock
- 21:30Speaker 2: tip to Congress, and Congress then makes money on the trades.
- 21:34Speaker 2: That's how it works. Like, they're not pretending it doesn't
- 21:36Speaker 2: work like that. They know it. We know it. We
- 21:38Speaker 2: know they know it. They know we know they know it.
- 21:41Speaker 2: So just pay them. Because if we don't pay them,
- 21:45Speaker 2: they're going to steal it. And while they're stealing that money,
- 21:47Speaker 2: they're serving that company that's giving them the stock trip tip,
- 21:51Speaker 2: not the American people. Let's just pay them.
- 21:57Speaker 1: All right, we're out of time, G2.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Always good to have a short slice of insight from G2.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Have a wonderful weekend, everybody. News Radio 570, WKVN.

- 22:56Speaker 1: is the mission.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Good evening, everyone.
- 23:05Speaker 8: Welcome to the Bet365 Guardians warm-up show tonight from Progressive
- 23:11Speaker 8: Field in downtown Cleveland. It's the Guardians and the Cincinnati
- 23:16Speaker 8: Reds in game one of a three-game series. Jim Rosenhouse
- 23:20Speaker 8: along with you about a half hour prior to tonight's
- 23:22Speaker 8: first pitch on a special night here at the ballpark
- 23:26Speaker 8: as the Guardians will honor the 2016 American League champion
- 23:31Speaker 8: Cleveland Indians. A lot of those players are back in
- 23:34Speaker 8: town tonight. And they are being honored as we speak.
- 23:36Speaker 8: So a great ceremony on the field. Great to see
- 23:39Speaker 8: so many players who were so important to that great
- 23:42Speaker 8: ball club 10 years ago. Guardians coming into play 24-21
- 23:47Speaker 8: atop the American League Central Division. The Reds, despite a
- 23:51Speaker 8: plus 500 record at 23-21, they are at the bottom
- 23:56Speaker 8: of the NL Central, five games off the pace being
- 23:59Speaker 8: set by the Cubs.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Stay tuned.
- 24:01Speaker 8: We'll have more to come after this. Welcome back to
- 24:10Speaker 8: Progressive Field and the Bet365 Guardians warm-up show. Guardians honoring
- 24:14Speaker 8: the 2016 American League champion pennant winners, the Cleveland Guardians,
- 24:19Speaker 8: who had that memorable World Series against the Chicago Cubs.
- 24:22Speaker 8: A heart and soul guy on that team was catcher
- 24:25Speaker 8: Jan Gomes, who unfortunately was hurt much of the second half,
- 24:28Speaker 8: but got back for the postseason and played a role
- 24:32Speaker 8: in the three-playoff series that the Guardians played. We'll visit
- 24:35Speaker 8: with him when we come back after this.
- 24:38Speaker 5: Here's the Bet365 Minute, where winning is everything, with Scott Davidson.
- 24:43Speaker 10: All right, there's a lot to look at downtown tonight.
- 24:45Speaker 10: We'll start with the Guardians. They're a $ 1. 40 favorite over
- 24:48Speaker 10: the Reds. The total is eight. Next door, Cavs. Game six,
- 24:52Speaker 10: they're minus four. Total there, 210 and a half. Let
- 24:54Speaker 10: me give you a baseball money line I like tonight.
- 24:57Speaker 10: I am going with our old buddy Aaron Savali and
- 25:00Speaker 10: the Athletics to beat the Giants. Now, Savali has been
- 25:03Speaker 10: on fire in his last three starts. In fact, he's
- 25:05Speaker 10: given up only one earned run in his last 16 innings.
- 25:09Speaker 10: The Giants counter with Tyler Molle. He's got a 5.18 ERA,
- 25:13Speaker 10: and he comes off an outing where he gave up
- 25:15Speaker 10: four runs and two homers, and he's in a ballpark
- 25:18Speaker 10: tonight that yields a lot of homers. I like the athletics.
- 25:21Speaker 10: That's my play of the day. Now, you can join
- 25:23Speaker 10: me when you download the Bet365 app. Remember, you bet $ 10.
- 25:26Speaker 10: You get $ 200 in bonus bets, win or lose. Terms
- 25:29Speaker 10: and conditions apply. And that's the Bet365 Minute. I'm Scott Davidson.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Gambling problem?
- 25:34Speaker 6: Call 1-800-MY-RESET.
- 25:35Speaker 1: 21 plus only. Must be physically located in Ohio.
- 25:42Speaker 8: Welcome back to Guardians Warm-Up, and the 2016 American League
- 25:45Speaker 8: Championship Team Reunion has been taking place this weekend. Jan
- 25:50Speaker 8: Goms has joined us, and Jan, you were such a
- 25:52Speaker 8: heart and soul guy for those clubs as you really
- 25:55Speaker 8: established yourself as a top-tier catcher in the American League.
- 25:59Speaker 8: But for you, when you look back on that, what
- 26:02Speaker 8: was the World Series like for you as you were
- 26:04Speaker 8: trying to come back from injury and contribute in any
- 26:06Speaker 8: way you could?
- 26:08Speaker 11: Yeah, it was... I mean, we've all talked about it
- 26:12Speaker 11: like the last couple of days. It was, um, we,
- 26:15Speaker 11: we kind of didn't know what was happening to be
- 26:17Speaker 11: honest with you. We, uh, um, we fought so hard. We,
- 26:20Speaker 11: we were playing good baseball and it was all happening. Um,
- 26:23Speaker 11: but personally for me, I ended up getting hurt in
- 26:25Speaker 11: the middle of the year, trying to make my way back,
- 26:27Speaker 11: got hurt again. But, um, just being a part of
- 26:30Speaker 11: that ball club, you know, getting, you know, to play
- 26:32Speaker 11: some games and getting to, to see that momentum of
- 26:36Speaker 11: every game, you know, becoming more and more special was, uh,
- 26:40Speaker 11: It was a great time, even though, again, personally, I
- 26:44Speaker 11: didn't get to play very much during those series until
- 26:47Speaker 11: the World Series. But it was a super special moment.
- 26:51Speaker 11: It was something that no one could take away from us.
- 26:54Speaker 11: We had a great time, for sure.
- 26:57Speaker 8: People talk about chemistry on good teams so often. What
- 27:01Speaker 8: was it about this group that you kind of grew
- 27:03Speaker 8: up with that became so special so quickly?
- 27:06Speaker 11: I mean, you said it. It was a good group
- 27:08Speaker 11: of guys that, like, We can call it a core,
- 27:11Speaker 11: we can call it a nuclear, whatever it was, but
- 27:13Speaker 11: we had a lot of guys that were coming up
- 27:16Speaker 11: together at the same time, having kids at the same time.
- 27:18Speaker 11: We were spending a lot of time together, and getting
- 27:23Speaker 11: to have that moment together was really special.
- 27:26Speaker 1: What was really cool about it.
- 27:28Speaker 11: Is anytime someone new came in, we were very open,
- 27:32Speaker 11: very welcoming. Andrew Miller, Coco Chris, Brandon Geyer, They all
- 27:36Speaker 11: became just easily a part of the family, and it
- 27:40Speaker 11: helped us big time.
- 27:41Speaker 8: You mentioned those three coming in. As a player on
- 27:45Speaker 8: a team where that's happening, what does that tell you
- 27:48Speaker 8: about the intentions of the front office and everything else
- 27:51Speaker 8: that goes along with it?
- 27:52Speaker 11: Yeah, you get to play long enough. Whenever that trade
- 27:57Speaker 11: deadline comes, you're going one way or.
- 27:59Speaker 2: The other, right?
- 28:00Speaker 11: So you're adding or you're scuffling and you're subtracting. And
- 28:04Speaker 11: whenever we start getting guys like, Andrew Miller, Chris, and
- 28:08Speaker 11: Brandon Geyer, you know we're going for it. So definitely
- 28:11Speaker 11: gives us a nice momentum, a nice confidence that the
- 28:14Speaker 11: front office believed in us.
- 28:16Speaker 1: But it was really cool.
- 28:17Speaker 11: They gelled really easy, became huge roles of our team
- 28:21Speaker 11: at that time, and happy that we got to be teammates.
- 28:25Speaker 8: Jan Goms is joining us, and you were lucky enough
- 28:28Speaker 8: to go on and win a World Series later in
- 28:30Speaker 8: your career with another team. When that happened for you,
- 28:34Speaker 8: Did any of this from 16 come back into your
- 28:38Speaker 8: thoughts as, wow, that would have been cool if it
- 28:40Speaker 8: could have been Cleveland?
- 28:41Speaker 11: Yeah, I think I've said it multiple times how cool
- 28:45Speaker 11: it would have been to have finished that off with
- 28:48Speaker 11: this team. But I can tell you that the second
- 28:51Speaker 11: time going into a World Series, I was way more prepared.
- 28:55Speaker 11: I think you start to realize that moments don't get
- 28:58Speaker 11: any bigger than that.
- 29:00Speaker 7: And you learn..
- 29:02Speaker 1: You learn a little bit more.
- 29:03Speaker 11: Of the pace of that game. Playoff series, playoff games
- 29:06Speaker 11: are a lot different than regular series games. So you
- 29:09Speaker 11: learn to slow the game down, be more present, and
- 29:14Speaker 11: understand that little moments can't escalate to big moments. But
- 29:18Speaker 11: we can definitely be able to have those conversations in
- 29:21Speaker 11: the dugout where we can slow those little skids, wherever
- 29:26Speaker 11: it's an error or anything, which I know in the
- 29:28Speaker 11: first time around, the game can speed up. So I
- 29:32Speaker 11: know whenever I went in 19 with the Nationals, I
- 29:37Speaker 11: was way more prepared, at least I thought so. and
- 29:39Speaker 11: uh and ended up um we put a ring.
- 29:42Speaker 8: You're retired now as our most except for hosey i
- 29:44Speaker 8: think sure um but you look at your career and
- 29:47Speaker 8: you got that chance here um when it was all
- 29:50Speaker 8: said and done and you did decide to retire it
- 29:53Speaker 8: Do you feel good about your career? Because it seemed
- 29:55Speaker 8: like anyone who plays as long as you did, that's
- 29:57Speaker 8: a solid major league career.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I do.
- 30:00Speaker 11: I think it's one of those things where you're going
- 30:01Speaker 11: to have questions at the end of your career, whether
- 30:04Speaker 11: you could have done more. But I feel like I
- 30:08Speaker 11: left my mark in the game. I gave it my
- 30:10Speaker 11: best every day I was on on the field. I
- 30:13Speaker 11: never left anything for granted. And I thank a lot
- 30:16Speaker 11: of guys that I got to play with for that.
- 30:18Speaker 11: I know Tito as a manager was a huge influence
- 30:20Speaker 11: on me. Sandy was the same way. So I felt
- 30:24Speaker 11: like any game that I played, I was playing it
- 30:27Speaker 11: like it was my last, and I hope that that
- 30:29Speaker 11: was the impact I left.
- 30:31Speaker 8: Jan, great to see you. Thanks for coming by.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Absolutely. Thanks, Rosie.
- 30:34Speaker 8: That's Jan Gomes, catcher for the 2016 American League champion
- 30:39Speaker 8: Cleveland Guardians.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Stay tuned.
- 30:40Speaker 8: More to come after this.
- 30:42Speaker 12: Progressive knows sports brings people together, but you've got to
- 30:44Speaker 12: feel bad for people who don't even get it. Some
- 30:47Speaker 12: people will never know what it's like to see their
- 30:49Speaker 12: favorite team's hopes decided by a ping-pong ball to draft
- 30:51Speaker 12: the next superstar.
- 30:53Speaker 5: Or not.
- 30:55Speaker 12: I mean, sure, it's silly for your happiness to hinge
- 30:57Speaker 12: on the success of a 20-year-old entry-level employee.
- 30:59Speaker 6: But you just can't help yourself.
- 31:00Speaker 12: The stress is exhilarating. Progressive can't bring people together like
- 31:04Speaker 12: the draft, but we can bring your home and auto
- 31:05Speaker 12: insurance together with a bundle.
- 31:07Speaker 6: So switch and see if you could save hundreds.
- 31:09Speaker 12: Progressive Casualty Insurance Company affiliates and other insurers not available
- 31:11Speaker 12: in all states or situations.
- 31:13Speaker 13: Hey, you mind keeping it down up there, please?
- 31:15Speaker 6: KeyBank will meet you in that I need new neighbors moment.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Rick, it's your mortgage loan officer, Beth. I was in
- 31:22Speaker 2: the neighborhood and wanted to let you know your home
- 31:24Speaker 2: loan application's been approved.
- 31:26Speaker 8: Beth, you're always there for me and not a moment
- 31:28Speaker 8: too soon.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Are your neighbors bowling with grand pianos again?
- 31:32Speaker 14: And apparently raising livestock?
- 31:35Speaker 6: For every financial need, we'll meet you in the moment.
- 31:37Speaker 1: KeyBank opens doors.
- 31:39Speaker 6: Equal housing lender. NMLS number 399797.

- 32:49Speaker 8: our pregame weather forecast from WKYC. It's presented by Window World.
- 32:55Speaker 4: Cloudy skies during the evening hours with temps falling through

- 33:05Speaker 4: be dodging a few showers, maybe a rumble of thunder
- 33:08Speaker 4: during the day, but our warm-up is beginning. 79 degrees,
- 33:13Speaker 4: the high on Saturday. From the 3 News Weather Center,
- 33:16Speaker 4: I'm Mark Johnson.
- 33:18Speaker 8: Nice night for baseball downtown, and when we come back,
- 33:20Speaker 8: Tom Hamilton will visit with manager Stephen Vogt. The Key
- 33:23Speaker 8: Bank Manager Show next.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Wait call now.
- 33:36Speaker 7: Hi again everybody with cleveland manager steven vote this is
- 33:39Speaker 7: tom hamilton welcome to the manager show it's brought to
- 33:43Speaker 7: you by key bank off day yesterday after in essence
- 33:46Speaker 7: a two-week run that's mammoth isn't it.
- 33:48Speaker 14: Yeah it was huge i mean what a long trip
- 33:50Speaker 14: sacramento to kansas city and then home for you know
- 33:53Speaker 14: six more games and Man, our guys played well. What
- 33:56Speaker 14: a great stretch we had. Anytime you have a trip
- 33:58Speaker 14: like that and a long stretch, you don't know how
- 34:01Speaker 14: it's going to go.
- 34:02Speaker 7: But we were able to win more than we lost,
- 34:04Speaker 7: and we played some good baseball. Voter, you've played well
- 34:06Speaker 7: here at home, especially pitching. Your ERA is more than
- 34:09Speaker 7: two runs lower at home than on the road. Now,
- 34:12Speaker 7: some of that might be weather-related, but you also have
- 34:15Speaker 7: to pitch in that.
- 34:16Speaker 14: Yeah, they've been great. I mean, our starting rotation as
- 34:18Speaker 14: a whole has been very good, and the bullpen has
- 34:20Speaker 14: just been phenomenal here as of late. and really the.
- 34:23Speaker 7: Majority of the year.
- 34:24Speaker 14: It kind of had a week where they kind of
- 34:26Speaker 14: gave up some runs, but outside of that, it's been phenomenal,
- 34:29Speaker 14: and we're pitching well, we're playing good defense, and we're
- 34:32Speaker 14: getting hitting when we need it, and you're going to
- 34:34Speaker 14: have games where you don't, but for the most part,
- 34:36Speaker 14: I've been really pleased with our at-bat quality.
- 34:38Speaker 7: Well, and the bullpen kind of continues to evolve. You
- 34:41Speaker 7: do have that guy in the ninth inning. I mean,
- 34:43Speaker 7: right now, Kate Smith looks locked in.
- 34:45Speaker 14: Yeah, especially the last two outings. I think You know,
- 34:48Speaker 14: we really saw a different version of Cade. We saw
- 34:50Speaker 14: the normal, the version of Cade we're used to. And
- 34:53Speaker 14: it's been a process. You know, pitchers go through lulls
- 34:56Speaker 14: where they lose their mechanics or something just feels a
- 34:59Speaker 14: tick off. But man, when Cade's dialed, isn't he great? Well,
- 35:04Speaker 14: I mean, right now you wonder how does a hitter
- 35:06Speaker 14: even figure out what's coming next? And the results are
- 35:09Speaker 14: three punch outs every inning. That being said, voter, it's
- 35:13Speaker 14: a little different than a year ago. 7-8-9 was pretty
- 35:16Speaker 14: clear cut. More mixing and matching now? Yeah, I mean,
- 35:18Speaker 14: I think if you've looked at the last couple years,
- 35:21Speaker 14: at least since I've been here, you know, we don't
- 35:23Speaker 14: have clear set roles. We don't have a seventh inning,
- 35:25Speaker 14: eighth inning, ninth inning. It's more matchup based. And, you know,
- 35:28Speaker 14: I think we're really starting to see we have a
- 35:30Speaker 14: lot of pieces that we can fit into that puzzle
- 35:32Speaker 14: right now. It's a good problem to have. And with
- 35:34Speaker 14: both lefties being as dominant as they are and three
- 35:37Speaker 14: or four really good righties and some pretty good, you know,
- 35:40Speaker 14: mop up guys as well. So we feel really good
- 35:42Speaker 14: about the state of our pen. We're going to continue
- 35:43Speaker 14: to look for the best matchups possible for guys.
- 35:46Speaker 7: Can you explain Eric Cebrowski's success? He doesn't throw 98,
- 35:51Speaker 7: but I mean, he's getting almost two strikeouts an inning.
- 35:54Speaker 7: One thing we do know, he's fearless, isn't he?
- 35:56Speaker 2: Yeah, he is.
- 35:57Speaker 14: He's fearless, but also his fastball, you know, it's not
- 36:01Speaker 14: a normal four-seam. It plays up. It's got 22 inches
- 36:04Speaker 14: of vertical ride, and that's ridiculous. So essentially, you got
- 36:08Speaker 14: to try and swing a miss over the top of
- 36:10Speaker 14: his fastball if you want to hit it is basically
- 36:12Speaker 14: the best way to describe it. And so He's got
- 36:14Speaker 14: good extension. He's coming at you, and he's got two
- 36:16Speaker 14: really good breaking balls to couple with it. So when
- 36:19Speaker 14: Eric's throwing strikes, he's one of the best.
- 36:21Speaker 7: I know how proud you are of me right now.
- 36:24Speaker 7: I went three minutes before I asked you the batting lineup.
- 36:27Speaker 7: You've got Chase DeLauder again hitting third with Jose Ramirez
- 36:32Speaker 7: in the two-hole. Do you want to see how this
- 36:34Speaker 7: goes for a while?
- 36:35Speaker 14: You know, again, we're day-to-day. I think I really liked
- 36:38Speaker 14: the way it looked the other day versus the lefty,
- 36:40Speaker 14: and we're facing another lefty today. We'll see how it
- 36:42Speaker 14: shakes out for tomorrow, but... You know, I really liked
- 36:45Speaker 14: the way, you know, whoever's hitting second is going to
- 36:47Speaker 14: get the most meaningful of bats. And so why not
- 36:49Speaker 14: put Hosey in that spot?
- 36:51Speaker 7: Do you talk to Hosey before you make this kind
- 36:53Speaker 7: of a move?
- 36:54Speaker 14: Absolutely. You know, you always ask him. You've seen it.
- 36:56Speaker 14: We've tried him in the two-hole a few stretches over
- 36:58Speaker 14: the last few years. And he's always kind of just
- 37:00Speaker 14: wanted to gravitate back towards the three-hole. And again, whatever
- 37:03Speaker 14: Hosey wants, you know, but we've been talking a lot
- 37:06Speaker 14: about it. And he actually expressed some interest in possibly,
- 37:08Speaker 14: you know, doing it. And, you know, anytime he wants
- 37:11Speaker 14: to step up in his second, I'm all for it.
- 37:14Speaker 7: Voter, one other thing I wanted to ask you about,
- 37:17Speaker 7: and that's Cincinnati, tonight's opponent. In essence, the same record.
- 37:20Speaker 7: They've been struggling lately, but everybody in that National League
- 37:24Speaker 7: East is above.
- 37:25Speaker 2: 500.
- 37:25Speaker 14: What kind of a club are they? They're pesky. They
- 37:29Speaker 14: can hit, they can run, they put a lot of
- 37:30Speaker 14: pressure on you on the bases. They've got good pitching.
- 37:34Speaker 14: They've got really big stuff coming out of the bullpen.
- 37:37Speaker 14: Struggle with throwing strikes at times, which they can get
- 37:40Speaker 14: themselves in trouble, so we have to be really patient
- 37:42Speaker 14: with their bullpen, but This is a really good team.
- 37:44Speaker 14: I mean, they play the game the right way. They're
- 37:46Speaker 14: good on defense. They run.
- 37:48Speaker 11: They bunt.
- 37:49Speaker 14: They cause havoc. And we got our work cut out
- 37:51Speaker 14: for us this weekend.
- 37:52Speaker 7: That's Cleveland manager Stephen Vogt, Tom Hamilton, inviting you to
- 37:56Speaker 7: stay tuned. Game one of this weekend's series with the
- 37:58Speaker 7: Reds next on the Cleveland Clinic Radio Network.
- 38:05Speaker 8: About 10 minutes away from tonight's first pitch here at
- 38:08Speaker 8: Progressive Field. Time for the pitching matchup. Andrew Abbott, the
- 38:12Speaker 8: tough left-handers on the hill for the Reds. Nine starts in,
- 38:15Speaker 8: he's 2-2 with an ERA of 4.47. Always tough in
- 38:20Speaker 8: his career against Cleveland, especially so a year ago with
- 38:24Speaker 8: two wins and two starts. 14 innings, he did not
- 38:28Speaker 8: allow a run. On the other side, it's Tanner Bybee
- 38:31Speaker 8: for the Guardians. The right-hander, 0-5, with an earned run
- 38:35Speaker 8: average of 4.17. In his career three starts against Cincinnati,
- 38:39Speaker 8: 1-2 with an earned run average of 4.42. That's your
- 38:44Speaker 8: pitching matchup, and that'll do it for Guardians Warm-Up.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Stay tuned.
- 38:47Speaker 8: We have the starting lineups and the first pitch. They
