- 0:07Speaker 2: Oh yeah, the BC boys here on the Radio hod
- 0:11Speaker 2: Achty Big Show, No go Sorr.
- 0:14Speaker 3: I thought you're gonna say the time eleven minutes to five. Wait, yeah, five, Hey, fellas,
- 0:21Speaker 3: Today I had a bit of a mucked something up, right,
- 0:24Speaker 3: So I ordered this game online right nowadays?
- 0:28Speaker 4: You can just this nerd chat.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Yeah it's nerd chat.
- 0:30Speaker 4: Who got the sting?
- 0:31Speaker 3: We don't have a nerd chat sting, Mike, all right,
- 0:34Speaker 3: I forbid that. But I bought a game. I like
- 0:36Speaker 3: to have the physical copy rather than just get it digitally.
- 0:39Speaker 3: I'm old schools, you know me. I'm old still nerd Chat, Yeah,
- 0:43Speaker 3: And I ordered it last week. It arrived yesterday. It
- 0:46Speaker 3: was a little package on my doorstep, and I was
- 0:48Speaker 3: very excited. And I opened it up and I pulled
- 0:50Speaker 3: it out, and I realized I had bought the PS
- 0:53Speaker 3: four version of the game, when I've got a PS
- 0:55Speaker 3: five right, right, So I wanted the more modern and
- 0:58Speaker 3: I'd accidentally bought the wrong one.
- 0:59Speaker 4: Oh god. Ah.
- 1:00Speaker 3: So this morning I went into the nearest say, oh gosh, darn,
- 1:04Speaker 3: I said, oh, gosh, Dad nab it. And then I
- 1:08Speaker 3: got into work first thing this morning and walked down
- 1:10Speaker 3: to the nearest electronic store, which just so happened to
- 1:12Speaker 3: be on Queen Street for this particular chain of stores. Sure,
- 1:16Speaker 3: I walked in there with my game, and there's a
- 1:19Speaker 3: lovely lady at the counter, and I said, hey, sorry,
- 1:21Speaker 3: get a name's Kezy. How are you That's what I said, yeah,
- 1:24Speaker 3: And then she's I don't care what your name is,
- 1:26Speaker 3: what do you need? And I said, so, funny story.
- 1:29Speaker 3: I bought this game. I thought I was buying the
- 1:31Speaker 3: PS five version, but I bought the PS four version.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Guy over his shoulder, all right, he's probably twenty five. Yeah,
- 1:38Speaker 3: turns around and goes you realize it works on both
- 1:41Speaker 3: And then I instantly couldn't help it, with a big
- 1:44Speaker 3: grin on my face, said yeah, but it's not quite
- 1:45Speaker 3: the same, though, is it? Because it's just not it's
- 1:48Speaker 3: not quite as you know. I'm sure I can use it,
- 1:50Speaker 3: but it's not the next level of technology up the
- 1:52Speaker 3: best possible, you know.
- 1:54Speaker 4: Sure, the cream down cream that's yeah.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Mike ah. And I said, look, I exchange it, and
- 2:01Speaker 3: then they said you can. You have to exchange with
- 2:04Speaker 3: the twenty four hours of getting it twenty four to
- 2:06Speaker 3: stop people from getting a game playing it really quick.
- 2:08Speaker 4: Then bring it me.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Yeah sure, I said, well that arrived yesterday afternoon, so
- 2:12Speaker 3: that's twenty four hours. And then she types in some
- 2:14Speaker 3: stuff and then goes, ah, do you reckon? It's all
- 2:17Speaker 3: good to just do an exchange to the guy and
- 2:18Speaker 3: he goes, well, if it was me, I wouldn't do it,
- 2:21Speaker 3: while looking at me. Yeah, this is a twenty five
- 2:24Speaker 3: year old dude.
- 2:25Speaker 4: Sure age then yeah.
- 2:27Speaker 3: I'm thirty three, but sure, I'm his co marto.
- 2:29Speaker 4: You know what I mean.
- 2:30Speaker 3: I've walked in here, I've made a mistake, a boomer
- 2:32Speaker 3: type mistake. He's looked at me and said, well, if
- 2:34Speaker 3: it was me, I wouldn't do it. Sure, and then
- 2:37Speaker 3: you know, worst attitude. Anyway, She sorted it out, gave
- 2:41Speaker 3: me the refund, and I walked off thinking that guy
- 2:44Speaker 3: is a massive jackass. Yeah, nine thirty am hasn't even
- 2:47Speaker 3: had a chant. The store opened at nine point thirty.
- 2:49Speaker 3: I was literally one of the first customers and he
- 2:50Speaker 3: hadn't had a chance to have a bad day yet,
- 2:52Speaker 3: and he was already a prick. Yeah, was he out
- 2:54Speaker 3: of line or was I.
- 2:55Speaker 2: You know, No, I think he was just one of
- 2:57Speaker 2: those guys that hates his job and his life.
- 2:59Speaker 4: I go like that as well. He works at the
- 3:01Speaker 4: servo near our place, right, and he acts like he's
- 3:06Speaker 4: the man, yeah for working at the servo, which is
- 3:09Speaker 4: fine and there's nothing it's a strange thing to have
- 3:12Speaker 4: an attitude about. Oh, like a yeah, okay, Like you're
- 3:16Speaker 4: on his turf now and he hits you with heaps
- 3:19Speaker 4: of attitude. He's not like, oh, you know, we're at
- 3:20Speaker 4: the survey and I love it and I'm going to
- 3:22Speaker 4: be really friendly. It's like I'm the man. I know
- 3:25Speaker 4: how this joint works, and it sounds like similar vibes
- 3:28Speaker 4: to this dude.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Yeah. I was really blown away by it. I was
- 3:31Speaker 3: admitting that I made the mistake, real dumb mistake, you know,
- 3:34Speaker 3: and he was just like, you know it works right yeah,
- 3:36Speaker 3: And I was like.
- 3:37Speaker 4: What you know? But that's classic nerd attitude. Is not
- 3:41Speaker 4: something that I mean, I've run into that all the
- 3:43Speaker 4: time at that store that I know what it will be. Yeah,
- 3:46Speaker 4: it's that kind of know it all attitude. Oh don't
- 3:49Speaker 4: you even know? Blah blah blah. It's if I knew, Yeah,
- 3:52Speaker 4: you wouldn't have a job. Yeah. Do you know how
- 3:54Speaker 4: to plumb? Do you know how to be an electrician?
- 3:56Speaker 3: Do you know how to do radio?
- 3:57Speaker 4: Do you know how to do radio? Probably?
- 4:00Speaker 2: You know? If you want keys, I could give our
- 4:03Speaker 2: old mate Keith for your call. Remember Keither used to
- 4:06Speaker 2: get all our collect all our.
- 4:07Speaker 3: You mean our dick collector from three years Yeah, yeah.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Give him because he's still around, give him a pay
- 4:12Speaker 2: a visit.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Maybe that's still good.
- 4:14Speaker 4: Sorts of people are annoying.
- 4:15Speaker 3: I've sort of it though. We're going to have a
- 4:17Speaker 3: ugo battle this weekend to figure our things out. So yeah,
- 4:21Speaker 3: just because that's really nerdy. So Tugs is massively into it.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Actually, what is it? Three ways? Yeah?
- 4:27Speaker 3: In three ways?
- 4:28Speaker 1: The whole Archy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Kesey Tom Pitty there on the radio hod Arki Big
- 4:35Speaker 2: showed this Wednesday afternoon. The time twenty six minutes past
- 4:39Speaker 2: five o'clock.
- 4:39Speaker 4: Can ever get myself enough? Tom Petty, you know what
- 4:42Speaker 4: I'm saying. He's got some tunes, brother, Tom Pitty. Yeah. Yeah,
- 4:47Speaker 4: Hey Fowlers, yesterday you remember I was telling you that
- 4:50Speaker 4: story about how I went down to that shop. There's
- 4:52Speaker 4: a shop here in Auckland. They probably have them in
- 4:55Speaker 4: other cities, but I went to the one in Auckland,
- 4:57Speaker 4: and they specialize in laser in your ball or especially
- 5:01Speaker 4: they do down there. And I pay a round about
- 5:05Speaker 4: five hundred bucks for ten turns to have my bullows laser.
- 5:10Speaker 4: I'll probably have them lasered. Now, I want to say
- 5:15Speaker 4: seven times more than that, about twelve or so.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Oh you're joking, yeah, man.
- 5:21Speaker 4: Anyway, I was going to the toilet today, stand up,
- 5:26Speaker 4: standing up like a big boy, and I then put
- 5:31Speaker 4: away things, and then I felt a real stinging sensation
- 5:35Speaker 4: in my downstairs and I got my downstairs out to
- 5:39Speaker 4: have a look. And I've got some pretty hearty burns.
- 5:47Speaker 4: Mister burns, they call me on my bullows. So it
- 5:50Speaker 4: appears that the laser was a bit too intense, and
- 5:55Speaker 4: I've got like, I don't know, they're not as scab yet, CAZy. Yeah, okay,
- 6:00Speaker 4: it's more just a bit of a weeper down there, right,
- 6:03Speaker 4: So can I just say be careful out there? As
- 6:07Speaker 4: I say, it's a twelfth time I've done. It's never
- 6:08Speaker 4: happened before.
- 6:09Speaker 2: I do recall you making the point yesterday that there
- 6:12Speaker 2: was a bit of a bushfire though you hadn't shaved
- 6:16Speaker 2: your bullets beforehand.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't. Yeah, I don't think this has caused
- 6:19Speaker 4: but that it wasn't a bushfires as such, but I
- 6:22Speaker 4: certainly had. Do you remember I had that residual heat?
- 6:25Speaker 4: Do you remember I was telling you about that because
- 6:27Speaker 4: they went down the stairs round the back, out the
- 6:29Speaker 4: back picking strawberries. Do you remember that? Yes? Yes, yeah,
- 6:32Speaker 4: And it was hot, so maybe that was related.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Are you surprised that, after twelve times of going to
- 6:37Speaker 3: get a red hot beam of light fired at your downstairs,
- 6:41Speaker 3: that this is the first time you've been burned.
- 6:42Speaker 4: I feel like that would be a common thing. It
- 6:44Speaker 4: is a common thing. That woman is just something that happens. Yeah, right,
- 6:48Speaker 4: But what they generally do is they'll get the settings
- 6:50Speaker 4: and then they'll just stick to those settings, and so
- 6:52Speaker 4: the chances of anything bad happening when it happened before
- 6:55Speaker 4: a slim. But I don't know what's happened there. What
- 6:59Speaker 4: do you reckon it is?
- 7:00Speaker 2: Well, you know, I actually think to myself, you know,
- 7:04Speaker 2: twelve times, twelve times, it's not working.
- 7:08Speaker 4: It's working pretty good things I thought.
- 7:10Speaker 2: After ten times, and you wouldn't need to do it
- 7:12Speaker 2: again because yeah, bullos here would be so singed and
- 7:17Speaker 2: broken and decreet it and it wouldn't go back.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah, Well it's nearly there. Right, it's nearly there.
- 7:23Speaker 4: Hey man.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Some treatment advice. Oh yeah, so run it under cold
- 7:27Speaker 3: water out here in the office twenty minutes minute. It
- 7:30Speaker 3: doesn't have to be in the office. It can be
- 7:31Speaker 3: in the privacy of your own home, can be. I
- 7:34Speaker 3: mean sure, nothing's to stop you from doing it, thank you.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Probably be frowned upon. Put some antibiotic ointment on it,
- 7:41Speaker 3: or antiseptic antiseptic. Have you got near of that?
- 7:45Speaker 4: I've got that. I've got some latine suntinlation.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I was thinking more like a genuine like
- 7:53Speaker 3: sevalon or some little level a little sevalon and put
- 7:57Speaker 3: that on the ground and just sort of you know
- 7:59Speaker 3: over there.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe a flannel with ice cubes in it.
- 8:03Speaker 3: Oh no, that's going to make cool and compress. So
- 8:07Speaker 3: call it down flannel ice cube and then wrap it
- 8:10Speaker 3: up tight with really compress it.
- 8:12Speaker 4: Sweet.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Well, what they do for sportsmen is they like that?
- 8:16Speaker 3: What about sportswoman?
- 8:18Speaker 2: No, this is this is particular to mean testes is
- 8:22Speaker 2: you know, if they get damage to the bullus there,
- 8:24Speaker 2: they'll get some ice and then they'll do the glad
- 8:26Speaker 2: wrap around it. Yeah, and just put the ice cubes
- 8:29Speaker 2: against you and then glad wrap it.
- 8:31Speaker 4: I was, I was remembering when I went to the doctor,
- 8:33Speaker 4: they said you should elevate you should elevate it when
- 8:36Speaker 4: you've got an injury. Is that right?
- 8:38Speaker 2: That's a hell of a load to elevate.
- 8:41Speaker 1: The Hidiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio HODK.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Audio Slave there on the Radio Darchy Big Show this
- 8:49Speaker 2: Wednesday afternoon. But right now it's time for.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Hey guys, text here from Steve.
- 8:55Speaker 4: What's the teams.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Zealand with me?
- 8:58Speaker 2: Ki Yellow waves that crust monkey porn doesn't like watching
- 9:06Speaker 2: monkey pork.
- 9:07Speaker 3: This is way too slow.
- 9:09Speaker 4: Let's drop this.
- 9:10Speaker 3: It's not relevant. It's just silly.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Can you write up the list for me? Pugs?
- 9:15Speaker 3: Yeah, by the way, pug Sons here, high Pugs. The
- 9:19Speaker 3: reason pug sons and it's because last week we got
- 9:22Speaker 3: them into chat about an egresspe he's got yes and
- 9:25Speaker 3: we kind of did conne chat and stits. So I
- 9:27Speaker 3: thought tonight.
- 9:27Speaker 4: Pug broke my trust.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Yeah, things like that, yeah, it's convinced to come back.
- 9:31Speaker 3: And I genuinely want you to talk through the eggressipee
- 9:34Speaker 3: because I think it's really interesting and it's not a
- 9:36Speaker 3: recipe that you guys would have ever heard of.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Yes, and also because you're the king of sort of
- 9:40Speaker 2: Japanese sort of que scene. And I love my eggs PAGs.
- 9:45Speaker 2: And just the other day actually I was thinking to myself, geez,
- 9:48Speaker 2: what's something different I can do with the old eggs.
- 9:50Speaker 2: So I'm intrigued by this, you know.
- 9:52Speaker 5: Hard boiling your eggs or sort of boiling your eggs.
- 9:56Speaker 2: I don't generally know.
- 9:57Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 9:58Speaker 5: Yeah, see, I've never sort of never really done that either.
- 10:01Speaker 5: Don't music.
- 10:04Speaker 3: This is the music Jayce. There's no other music. There's
- 10:07Speaker 3: no other.
- 10:10Speaker 4: Anyway anyway.
- 10:12Speaker 5: So what I like to do Jason's boil some eggs, right,
- 10:14Speaker 5: And normally I don't do that. Normally I'm a fry
- 10:17Speaker 5: or a poacher. But this recipe kind of turned me around.
- 10:20Speaker 5: Now what you do is you.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Don't look at me like, come on, you can do it, man.
- 10:24Speaker 5: Okay, So you boil your eggs is sort of soft boil,
- 10:27Speaker 5: so the yolk is a bit creamy, harsh. Sure, and
- 10:31Speaker 5: then you put it, you put it in a sealed
- 10:34Speaker 5: container and you marinate them right. Yes, Now what I
- 10:37Speaker 5: put in the marinade is I put stock in there,
- 10:40Speaker 5: maybe a chicken stock or a dushy stock. Interesting and
- 10:43Speaker 5: soy sauce about half and half of that. Then I
- 10:45Speaker 5: put some red chili, some jalapino, some chili flakes, some garlic, wow.
- 10:50Speaker 3: And then married of other things.
- 10:52Speaker 5: You could put go to young paste in there if
- 10:54Speaker 5: you like, or it's just anything to give it. And
- 10:58Speaker 5: then generally put tomato sauce, and but you could.
- 11:01Speaker 3: And then you soak them in there like it's a
- 11:02Speaker 3: big pel of them in there.
- 11:04Speaker 5: Yeah, you give it a few hours and then they're
- 11:05Speaker 5: pretty much ready to go. But obviously the longer you
- 11:07Speaker 5: leave them the better. And then they last year a
- 11:08Speaker 5: couple of days.
- 11:09Speaker 3: And how many are you doing cold?
- 11:12Speaker 4: You can put them in a ramen, yes.
- 11:18Speaker 5: But I just tend to pop them straight in there,
- 11:20Speaker 5: straight the mouth there.
- 11:21Speaker 3: So you're just you peel them. You've married them. You
- 11:24Speaker 3: just eat them whole. Yeah, And it's that young and
- 11:26Speaker 3: you can taste all the spices.
- 11:27Speaker 4: I can't do a cold egg.
- 11:29Speaker 3: I can't do a cold egg. You can't do a
- 11:30Speaker 3: cold egg?
- 11:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I am. I am microwave.
- 11:35Speaker 2: I'm very partial to cold egg with a bit of aoli,
- 11:38Speaker 2: some curry powder. Mush it all up and have that
- 11:40Speaker 2: on toast, bit of cy pepper and some lemon ZESI yes,
- 11:46Speaker 2: I'm down for that.
- 11:47Speaker 4: Man.
- 11:49Speaker 2: So it's you boil your eggs, then you put them
- 11:52Speaker 2: under a cold tap for a while so they call
- 11:54Speaker 2: off the take the shells up and smash it up
- 11:57Speaker 2: with a bit of aoli, pepper, salt, and some curry powder.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Boody beautiful. I tell you what I do, a little
- 12:02Speaker 4: bit of butter in the frying pan there, Yes, reave
- 12:05Speaker 4: the ship out of it, you know, I gotta be hot, hot, hot, Yeah.
- 12:09Speaker 4: Crack three eggs in there, yes, stick the lid on
- 12:12Speaker 4: the bastard, just walk away into the dishwashing and all
- 12:15Speaker 4: that come back and they've been cooked a baggery, yes,
- 12:18Speaker 4: and they're all rubbery and that you and have them
- 12:19Speaker 4: on a couple of bits of toast with some butter,
- 12:22Speaker 4: a bit of salt, bit of pepper, bit of tomato sauce,
- 12:24Speaker 4: bit of wasster sauce, yes, a little bit of lemons zest,
- 12:30Speaker 4: a little bit of basil fresh basil.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Yeah, very nice.
- 12:36Speaker 3: I like mine scrambled. Actually last night, you never. I
- 12:44Speaker 3: was eating dinner last night and I thought, you know
- 12:46Speaker 3: who love this dinner? The flowers? Oh you're going it
- 12:50Speaker 3: was a broth with porkmants.
- 12:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:54Speaker 3: It was a giant broth. Yeah, with porkmants floating in it. Yeah,
- 13:00Speaker 3: and noodles and like Veggie's floating in it. And it
- 13:04Speaker 3: was literally just a big porkman's broth.
- 13:06Speaker 4: You living a life, brother, Go on, you're kezy?
- 13:10Speaker 3: Do you want to read some text?
- 13:11Speaker 1: And the Hdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 13:16Speaker 1: and Kesey.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Savannah there on the radio hod Archy Big Show that
- 13:20Speaker 2: thank you, Yes, thank you, thank you very much, Good night.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Thirty six minutes past four o'cros. I wanted to get
- 13:29Speaker 2: your opinion on something because that's something that happens to
- 13:32Speaker 2: me regularly.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Is it something that bugs you?
- 13:35Speaker 4: Yes?
- 13:36Speaker 2: Yes? Bug does it bug you? Mike that when something
- 13:44Speaker 2: bugs me? Keysy plays that bug bug me sting.
- 13:47Speaker 4: It's starting to wear thin. I gotta look, mat. It
- 13:54Speaker 4: came on me all of a sudden, What did.
- 13:59Speaker 5: That?
- 13:59Speaker 4: I didn't like that sting? I loved it, loved it,
- 14:02Speaker 4: loved it, and then I was over it. What happened?
- 14:05Speaker 2: Can we focus here a bit please?
- 14:07Speaker 3: Okay, I've noticed a bit of.
- 14:10Speaker 2: A phenomenon and I don't know if it happens to
- 14:13Speaker 2: you guys or other people out there in the audience.
- 14:15Speaker 2: And it's what I call the courier phenomenon.
- 14:21Speaker 3: So did you say Korea phenomenon?
- 14:23Speaker 2: Courier?
- 14:24Speaker 3: Oh, courier.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Sorry, And it's happened to me twice this week. I
- 14:30Speaker 2: was stepping into the shower nude and as my dog
- 14:39Speaker 2: is prying to do Mogi, and you know, this went
- 14:41Speaker 2: off ahead, back and back and went off. Generally that's
- 14:46Speaker 2: a sign that someone's here. And I was literally stepping
- 14:50Speaker 2: into the shower, so I quickly pulled on my trackies
- 14:53Speaker 2: and my little T shirt. At the end, I went out, yes,
- 14:55Speaker 2: and it was a courier and I was like, ah,
- 14:59Speaker 2: if man sign my name there. And then today I've
- 15:07Speaker 2: been waiting all day for a courier to turn up
- 15:09Speaker 2: to deliver all of our new bathroom stuffites, mirrors, heat
- 15:18Speaker 2: heat rack, all that sort of stuff. Well, you know
- 15:21Speaker 2: a tour rack that was for the bedroom, the heat
- 15:26Speaker 2: wreck just alongside the sex swing there and I'll be
- 15:30Speaker 2: wanting to the point mogie where I didn't even go
- 15:33Speaker 2: to the gym. Trus my wife said they're going to deliver.
- 15:35Speaker 4: It this morning.
- 15:37Speaker 2: So I was like, I can't even go to the
- 15:39Speaker 2: gym because of this damn courier didn't turn up. Didn't
- 15:43Speaker 2: turn up. It was about you know, called it to twelve,
- 15:45Speaker 2: and I went, right, I'm having a shower.
- 15:49Speaker 4: Who did you say that to the duck?
- 15:50Speaker 2: Just to myself, just to myself.
- 15:54Speaker 4: I ented the duck on my couch.
- 15:58Speaker 2: I might invited in again, for sure. I was nude again,
- 16:01Speaker 2: but this time in the shower. I've been in there
- 16:04Speaker 2: for about thirty seconds, so I was all.

- 17:11Speaker 3: courier turning up at my house is at the same
- 17:12Speaker 3: time as you having a rager, you know what I mean?

- 17:34Speaker 2: I had to help them carry it all in and stuff.
- 17:36Speaker 4: Well, easy solution shoot your dog because your dog goes
- 17:41Speaker 4: off right to take your dog up the back. Panic
- 17:44Speaker 4: problem solved.
