- 0:54Speaker 2: hello to one and all.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Good morning, Neil, Good morning, Willie wolf est Wire, Yes, sir,
- 1:00Speaker 1: will good morning, good morning, good morning Bill, Yeah, good morning,
- 1:04Speaker 1: good morning, Bill, good morning.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Hello.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Hello, you're lot to say my name Bill? Yes, three
- 1:13Speaker 1: l's and good morning, good morning Bill.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Finally, and I've always today. I leave Amy for last
- 1:22Speaker 1: because you know, I'm getting so tired of these boring
- 1:25Speaker 1: Dodger games. When people say a game, you know that
- 1:29Speaker 1: baseball games were boring.
- 1:30Speaker 2: I couldn't agree more holy, especially.
- 1:33Speaker 4: Those six and a half hour games.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Unbelievable. What did a tie for the longest game ever?
- 1:41Speaker 3: No, it's actually the second longest game the game World
- 1:46Speaker 3: Series that I got to go to in twenty seventeen.
- 1:50Speaker 3: In twenty eighteen, that was also eighteen innings and it
- 1:52Speaker 3: went till about twelve thirty.
- 1:54Speaker 4: In the morning.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Crazy, What is the longest game? Just curious that was
- 1:58Speaker 2: it looked that up.
- 1:59Speaker 1: That was the longest game ever ever played in the
- 2:01Speaker 1: World Series. How about the longest game ever played?
- 2:04Speaker 2: Period?
- 2:05Speaker 4: I don't know the idea.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I don't so do you think they would come up
- 2:09Speaker 1: with those stats this morning?
- 2:10Speaker 2: Like absolute craziness? They do?
- 2:13Speaker 3: And then sho heey o Tani set a record for
- 2:17Speaker 3: the most times on base. He was on base nine
- 2:20Speaker 3: times last night, nine times, major league record.
- 2:25Speaker 2: They purposely walked him, didn't they? For four or four times?
- 2:27Speaker 3: Well they did because the first four times he was up,
- 2:30Speaker 3: he doubled twice and then hit two home runs. So
- 2:33Speaker 3: they were like, screw that, we're walking him.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Yeah, how do you get to be the best baseball
- 2:39Speaker 1: player out there when you're always walked?
- 2:41Speaker 2: Is that going to be a normal course of events?
- 2:43Speaker 1: Where show heeo, Tommy's going to come up and effectively
- 2:47Speaker 1: be the most walks of any player in history, and
- 2:50Speaker 1: the highest paid player who has no hits.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Could be yeah never, no knows.
- 2:59Speaker 3: I mean if he stays on hot streets like this
- 3:01Speaker 3: when he wasn't when he wasn't hitting early in the playoffs.
- 3:03Speaker 4: But I was like, sure, we'll pitch to him. All
- 3:05Speaker 4: things have changed.
- 3:06Speaker 1: And on a more serious but none not fine. Note,
- 3:10Speaker 1: I'm following the case of this kid, Adon, who is
- 3:16Speaker 1: one of Lindsay's best friend's son in law, who was
- 3:20Speaker 1: picked up by Ice.
- 3:22Speaker 2: And it was it's a horrific story, it really is.
- 3:27Speaker 1: This is a kid who, as I said yesterday and
- 3:33Speaker 1: you're broadcasting all right, thank you, Yeah, and it's very funny.
- 3:44Speaker 1: So this poor kid was picked up by Ice. And
- 3:47Speaker 1: the story is that when he was thirteen, his aunt
- 3:52Speaker 1: was dropped off at his and his mom's house having
- 3:55Speaker 1: been murdered with their tongue cut out by MS thirteen,
- 3:59Speaker 1: and they fled to the United States and immediately turned
- 4:02Speaker 1: themselves into immigration and claimed asylum, asked for asylum, and
- 4:09Speaker 1: they were bounced around the system for years. I don't
- 4:13Speaker 1: know how many asylum hearings, and they postponed, postponed, postponed,
- 4:17Speaker 1: and finally his brother was granted asylum. He was not,
- 4:21Speaker 1: and so they picked him up and they did deport him.
- 4:24Speaker 1: They found out yesterday he was supported to El Salvador,
- 4:27Speaker 1: where he came from, as opposed to the Sudan. His
- 4:31Speaker 1: parents are scrambling or his mom is scrambling for an
- 4:35Speaker 1: attorney to help out.
- 4:37Speaker 2: There are some organizations.
- 4:38Speaker 1: There was there was a what they call a crowdfunding attempt,
- 4:47Speaker 1: of which we put in some money and it was Anyway,
- 4:51Speaker 1: it's the worst of the worst, right as Christinoman will
- 4:54Speaker 1: tell you, this is the worst of the worst. Twenty
- 4:57Speaker 1: seven year old kids started his own business, has a
- 5:01Speaker 1: photography business, Neil. As a matter of fact, all of
- 5:04Speaker 1: you saw him there because he photographed that Gatsby party
- 5:08Speaker 1: of ours and he also photographed Barber's wedding.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Anyway, the.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Last news is he is in El Salvador, has been deported.
- 5:17Speaker 1: In The families trying to get him to come back
- 5:19Speaker 1: to the United States, which doesn't look like it's going
- 5:21Speaker 1: to happen.
- 5:22Speaker 5: Yeah, how could that even there's no way to reverse this.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Well, I mean you could. They're working on it.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Theoretically, you could, but I want to point out, as
- 5:32Speaker 1: Christinoman would say, he is the worst of the worst,
- 5:35Speaker 1: because that's all they are deporting.
- 5:38Speaker 2: It's heartbreaking. It is absolutely heartbringing.
- 5:41Speaker 1: And I was talking to someone and you know, you
- 5:44Speaker 1: can argue all kinds of things about the Trump administration
- 5:47Speaker 1: yay nay, on policy grounds, but the sheer inhumanity of
- 5:52Speaker 1: what's going on is stunning, absolutely stunning.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Where did you get picked up?
- 5:58Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 5:58Speaker 1: We're trying to find that out because the mom is
- 6:02Speaker 1: being a little uh, you know, it's just not going
- 6:05Speaker 1: around these are you know, everybody's on Instagram and they're
- 6:09Speaker 1: emailing each other and they're that one has not come
- 6:12Speaker 1: out yet, because that's fascinating. What was he doing to
- 6:14Speaker 1: get picked up? Where was he? Wrong place?
- 6:16Speaker 2: Wrong time?
- 6:18Speaker 1: He is Hispanics? He's El Salvadorian, and so does he
- 6:22Speaker 1: I don't remember if he looks Hispanic or not. I'm
- 6:25Speaker 1: assuming so when you're from El Salvador and you could
- 6:27Speaker 1: tell someone who looks his.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Funny me like, well, I'm wondering though, did they like
- 6:31Speaker 3: go to his house and knock on the door?
- 6:33Speaker 2: Was I don't know.
- 6:37Speaker 1: It's a very good question. How was he picked up.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Where was he that he was picked up?
- 6:42Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 6:43Speaker 2: Okay, enough of that.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Let's uh oh and let's have some fun good news
- 6:49Speaker 1: Hurricane Melissa.
- 6:50Speaker 2: What do you think?
- 6:51Speaker 1: And we're going to find out that Jamaica is gone
- 6:54Speaker 1: by tomorrow. So it's time for handle on the news, Amy,
- 6:58Speaker 1: Neil and me leave story. And for those people that
- 7:05Speaker 1: are saying that climate change is a hoax, you bet you.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Jamaica has been hit by Melissa, category five hurricane. It
- 7:15Speaker 1: is the worst hurricane that has ever hit Jamaica, one
- 7:20Speaker 1: hundred and seventy five a mile sustained winds. Nothing survives
- 7:26Speaker 1: that or very little survives that catastrophic. Of course, we're
- 7:31Speaker 1: not going to know for a day or two how
- 7:34Speaker 1: it's going to how Jamaica is going to fare, but
- 7:38Speaker 1: it's not going.
- 7:38Speaker 2: To fare well at all. Forty inches of rain, I mean, it's.
- 7:43Speaker 3: Just and they're already at sea level. I mean that
- 7:46Speaker 3: doesn't even take into account the storm.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Search Yeah are we?
- 7:49Speaker 1: I guess we're starting to measure rain in some places,
- 7:51Speaker 1: not by the foot, even more by the yard. Yeah,
- 7:55Speaker 1: it's a tough way to go, all right. Some good
- 7:57Speaker 1: news on the Dodgers, Amy.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Yeah, Well, on a much happier note, mister World Series,
- 8:03Speaker 3: that's what they're calling Freddy Freeman. He had a walk
- 8:06Speaker 3: off home run in the eighteenth inning that gave the
- 8:08Speaker 3: Dodgers the six to five win over the Blue Jays.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Now the Dodgers lead the series two games to one,
- 8:14Speaker 3: and Freddy Freeman remember last World Series he also hit
- 8:19Speaker 3: It was a Grand Slam walk off home run. So boy,
- 8:23Speaker 3: he just dials in during the World Series.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, didn't they?
- 8:27Speaker 1: They were just about to pull a picture from little leagues,
- 8:31Speaker 1: weren't they.
- 8:31Speaker 4: On the Dodgers were out, the bullpen was empty.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean there was no one there.
- 8:37Speaker 4: Yeah, it was just it was an amazing duel. It
- 8:39Speaker 4: was an amazing game all the way.
- 8:41Speaker 3: And like I was staying on wake up call that
- 8:43Speaker 3: I fell asleep, like in the tenth or eleventh inning,
- 8:47Speaker 3: it was late for me and I as I was
- 8:51Speaker 3: drifting off, I was thinking, this has been a great game,
- 8:54Speaker 3: no matter who wins it, this has been just an
- 8:56Speaker 3: epic game.
- 8:57Speaker 5: Oh well, allowed last night. I think you know, I'm
- 9:00Speaker 5: only a couple miles away from Dodger Stadium, and man, everybody,
- 9:05Speaker 5: you could hear it, Oh, yes, you could hear everything.
- 9:09Speaker 5: You could hear people in their homes.
- 9:11Speaker 2: You could hear.
- 9:13Speaker 5: You know, we hear the fireworks as well when they
- 9:16Speaker 5: do go off. But that's how you know they win
- 9:19Speaker 5: if you're not watching. But it was just loud last night.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Hey, Amy, game, tell me which games are in Toronto
- 9:29Speaker 1: and which games are in Los Angeles.
- 9:31Speaker 3: So the first two were in Toronto, so three are here.
- 9:34Speaker 3: So we had our first game was last night, our
- 9:36Speaker 3: second game is tonight, and then.
- 9:37Speaker 1: So they could pull it off here because I think
- 9:39Speaker 1: one of the worst things for a ballplayer, or not
- 9:42Speaker 1: one of the worst.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Things, of course, because it's way in the World Series.
- 9:45Speaker 1: But something that no ballplayer wants to do is win
- 9:48Speaker 1: the World Series in the opposite the opposite field, the
- 9:52Speaker 1: opposite city.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Ohs, not everybody, because everybody just is quiet. Just there's
- 10:00Speaker 2: no there's nothing there, all right.
- 10:03Speaker 5: Speaking of the wall, apparently Ice doesn't do it the
- 10:07Speaker 5: way the president likes. Trump In the end, his administration
- 10:11Speaker 5: planning to replace some of the regional leaders of immigration
- 10:15Speaker 5: and custom enforcement with straight up border patrol officials. Apparently
- 10:20Speaker 5: they they do stuff that the others don't to secure arrests,
- 10:25Speaker 5: such as repelling into apartment buildings from black Hawk helicopters. Wow,
- 10:31Speaker 5: jumping out of rental trucks in home depot parking lots.
- 10:37Speaker 1: During Christmas, they masqueraded Santa Claus department stores and grab people.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Forget that, it's insanity repelling.
- 10:48Speaker 5: From you help me find my puppy?
- 10:52Speaker 2: Oh god?
- 10:53Speaker 5: So yeah, so I guess they're disappointed with Ice and
- 11:00Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 11:01Speaker 2: You just go you got it?
- 11:03Speaker 1: Yeah, it depends on which side of the coin you're on.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Here's another story, which side of the coin are you on?
- 11:07Speaker 3: Amy Five hundred thousand people apparently have been deported since
- 11:11Speaker 3: President Trump took office, three times that many have left
- 11:14Speaker 3: on their own. One point six million people in the
- 11:17Speaker 3: US illegally have self deported, according to the Department of
- 11:20Speaker 3: Homeland Security. And for those people who say, okay, I'll go,
- 11:25Speaker 3: the department has been giving them one thousand dollars and
- 11:29Speaker 3: a plane ticket to wherever they want to go.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Don't have a question. And I'm trying to remember this.
- 11:35Speaker 1: If someone self deports, are they eligible to come back?
- 11:39Speaker 2: Yes, they're eligible to side.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Not that there's ever going to happen, because with no
- 11:44Speaker 1: chance on hell or in hell, they're going to actually
- 11:47Speaker 1: be able to come back, but they're eligible. And of
- 11:50Speaker 1: course if someone is deported, they're not. I wonder if
- 11:56Speaker 1: part of the policy is to tell folks. I guess
- 11:59Speaker 1: it is, probably because it's true. If you self deport
- 12:02Speaker 1: you will be able to apply to come back in
- 12:04Speaker 1: United States legally.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Oh and here's the other one.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Remember the stories about the Darien Gap in Panama that
- 12:15Speaker 1: was really difficult to walk through, that people did and
- 12:18Speaker 1: it was littered with.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Water bottles and clothes, et cetera.
- 12:23Speaker 1: According to ICE, the number of people the migration through
- 12:28Speaker 1: the Darien Gap in Panama is down ninety nine point
- 12:32Speaker 1: nine nine percent.
- 12:34Speaker 5: Holy smucks, which.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Means two people a week.
- 12:38Speaker 1: And you remember those stories of thousands of people throughout
- 12:41Speaker 1: the year going through.
- 12:44Speaker 5: All right, Amazon, oh Ai, it's here, it's taking your job,
- 12:50Speaker 5: looking at you, kono. Amazon said today that they planned
- 12:53Speaker 5: to cut fourteen hundred corporate jobs, and that's a massive layoff,
- 12:58Speaker 5: the biggest round of layoff years.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Fourteen, fourteen thousand, fourteen thousand.
- 13:06Speaker 5: They're convinced that they need to be organized more leanly,
- 13:10Speaker 5: they said, a few layers and more ownership, to move
- 13:15Speaker 5: as quickly as possible for our customers and business. So
- 13:19Speaker 5: you know what's funny is we, you know, say this
- 13:22Speaker 5: is horrible, and then we get upset when we don't
- 13:25Speaker 5: get our packages in two days. So it's kind of well,
- 13:30Speaker 5: it is weird. Were kind of creating the desire.
- 13:33Speaker 1: I had asked Ann to put together segments on this
- 13:36Speaker 1: show through AI so we can just listen to it
- 13:38Speaker 1: and see how close. We've already done it once, but
- 13:41Speaker 1: we're seeing if it's close again. But there is someone
- 13:43Speaker 1: that has to put together an AI segments.
- 13:48Speaker 2: But that person has been laid off.
- 13:50Speaker 5: Yeah, and not replaced by AI.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, Conal and I are working on it.
- 13:58Speaker 5: Though, laying off.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Yeah no, the AI.
- 14:05Speaker 4: No more layoffs.
- 14:06Speaker 5: Please can't be worse than this, Oh we can.
- 14:10Speaker 4: Uh Okay. So you've heard the term house poor.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Well, LA County or LA homeowners are among the most
- 14:18Speaker 3: house poor in the whole country. In a new study
- 14:21Speaker 3: published by Consumer Affairs Analysts found that LA homeowners are
- 14:24Speaker 3: among the most house poor in the nation, number four
- 14:27Speaker 3: on the list of major cities. That's that finance term
- 14:29Speaker 3: used to describe someone who spends a disproportionate amount on
- 14:33Speaker 3: their income on housing costs, with little leftover for other stuff.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Actually we're number one in house poor, and I'm going
- 14:41Speaker 1: to explain that at seven twenty and you'll understand why.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Seven twenty
- 14:49Speaker 1: house poor, which you are. I'm snacks and pizza poor,
- 14:53Speaker 1: Yes you are.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Do you know that you're only supposed to spend thirty
- 14:56Speaker 3: two point five percent?
- 15:00Speaker 4: This is one of these stumbers. You're only supposed to
- 15:02Speaker 4: spend about thirty percent of what you make on housing.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Yeah, thirty thirty three percent, And that's what they do
- 15:06Speaker 2: for some reason.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Being house poor is at thirty three percent, which none
- 15:10Speaker 1: of it makes any sense because no one, for example,
- 15:13Speaker 1: if you're renting, no one spends only a third of
- 15:16Speaker 1: their income at randous over half. Yeah, that's exactly the point,
- 15:22Speaker 1: and that is much much more likely. Okay, all right,
- 15:27Speaker 1: don't put your threats on the interwebs. Minnesota man by
- 15:32Speaker 1: the name of Tyler max and Avalos, he's thirty years old.
- 15:35Speaker 1: He's living in Saint Paul, Minnesota, apparently put on TikTok.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Posted on TikTok a forty five thousand dollars bounty on
- 15:48Speaker 1: Pam Bondy. So the post targeting Bondi was reported to
- 15:54Speaker 1: the FBI on October ninth by a TikTok user in Detroit.
- 16:00Speaker 1: It's got a photo of her got the sniper scope
- 16:02Speaker 1: with a red dot on her forehead, as well as
- 16:05Speaker 1: Texas says wanted Pam Bondy reward forty five thousand dead
- 16:10Speaker 1: or alive, preferably dead. And this guy, I guess has
- 16:16Speaker 1: a criminal pass that includes felony stalking.
- 16:21Speaker 5: Conviction and misdemeanor domestic assault conviction.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Is it true that he wrote this on the way
- 16:29Speaker 2: to the men's the meeting or coming back?
- 16:33Speaker 5: Yeah, he's a he's a he's a genius.
- 16:36Speaker 2: He's a genius with a capital J. Yeah.
- 16:39Speaker 3: I have even a better idea, Neil than saying don't
- 16:42Speaker 3: post threats on social media?
- 16:45Speaker 4: How about don't make threats at all?
- 16:47Speaker 1: What?
- 16:48Speaker 2: Amy? What fun is that?
- 16:50Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 16:51Speaker 2: Amy, you're taking away all You really want to kill somebody? Yeah,
- 16:55Speaker 2: you have to send to.
- 16:57Speaker 4: Want to kill people?
- 16:59Speaker 2: Amy?
- 17:00Speaker 1: Oh? What like?
- 17:02Speaker 2: Yeah? I like not wanting to kill ball. Okay, moving on.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Not everybody's listening to what Donald Trump wants. There are
- 17:13Speaker 3: two states in the Midwest who are thwarting the president's
- 17:17Speaker 3: plan to redraw congressional districts.
- 17:21Speaker 2: As Yahoo reports, Republicans in these states.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Yes, Republicans in Indiana and Kansas City. They just don't
- 17:28Speaker 3: have enough votes to pass new, more Republican friendly maps.
- 17:32Speaker 3: The lawmakers could still be persuaded with a White House push,
- 17:37Speaker 3: which has included an Oval Office meeting for lawmakers in
- 17:40Speaker 3: Indiana and two trips to Indianapolis by Vice President Vance.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:44Speaker 1: More on that at seven o'clock. And that, of course,
- 17:46Speaker 1: is all connected with Prop. Fifty and what's going.
- 17:50Speaker 3: On with that.
- 17:53Speaker 5: This is an interesting question that I have for you,
- 17:55Speaker 5: Bill about you've got the twenty two year old Utah
- 17:59Speaker 5: man that was charged with killing Charlie Kirk Tyler Robinson.
- 18:05Speaker 2: And since it's.
- 18:09Speaker 5: Innocent until proven guilty, they made the argument that mister
- 18:13Speaker 5: Robertson should be dressed in you know, regular street clothes
- 18:17Speaker 5: instead of prison garb. Why is that not the rule
- 18:22Speaker 5: across the board?
- 18:23Speaker 1: Okay, we're talking about pre trial. When a defendant goes
- 18:27Speaker 1: to trial, it's always street close. They will never let
- 18:32Speaker 1: a defendant be in court in front of a jury
- 18:35Speaker 1: in prison garb.
- 18:36Speaker 2: It is way too presidicial.
- 18:38Speaker 1: So we're talking about if you ever think about this,
- 18:41Speaker 1: whenever you see prisoners, for example, pleading guilty or not pleading,
- 18:45Speaker 1: or going in front of their first court appearance, they're
- 18:48Speaker 1: in prison garb and in shackles. Usually because judges, it's
- 18:53Speaker 1: not prejudicial to the judges. I mean, the judges are
- 18:56Speaker 1: not going to be swayed by that. Now here's the argument,
- 19:00Speaker 1: which is so unusual. This will be a broadcast and
- 19:04Speaker 1: what the argument is, and it's one step removed. This
- 19:08Speaker 1: is six steps of separation. This is Kevin Bacon. The argument,
- 19:11Speaker 1: and it's a good one is because the press, because
- 19:15Speaker 1: the coverage will be so enormous, the public seeing him
- 19:21Speaker 1: in a prison outfit, it will taint the jury pool
- 19:25Speaker 1: because virtually yeah, because virtually every juror probably will see this.
- 19:31Speaker 5: But he's potential pardon. He's still going to be in shackles, but.
- 19:36Speaker 2: It's going to be somewhat subdued and somewhat hidden.
- 19:39Speaker 1: It's not going to be Yeah, you can do the
- 19:43Speaker 1: shackles underneath it. You can do shackles underneath the court
- 19:46Speaker 1: and cost example. Sure, that's how I did it. Yes,
- 19:52Speaker 1: thank you.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Moving look.
- 20:00Speaker 4: Courtney kardashi No you uh.
- 20:04Speaker 3: Courtney Kardashian is Kardashians going below the belt for her
- 20:08Speaker 3: latest Lollipop rollout because she's selling a sucker that supports
- 20:12Speaker 3: vaginal health just dropped into Yep, we just uh found
- 20:17Speaker 3: out that she dropped a new supplement for her Lemmy brand.
- 20:22Speaker 3: It's this is a lollipop with no well apparently you
- 20:27Speaker 3: put it in your but it's got environment C to
- 20:30Speaker 3: keep your privates healthy and protect against.
- 20:33Speaker 2: You and infections. We can we can do.
- 20:35Speaker 1: I can do forty five minutes on that right now,
- 20:38Speaker 1: starting with it can't be that comfortable, then ending with nevermind.
- 20:44Speaker 4: Okay, you're gonna like this too, Bill.
- 20:46Speaker 3: They're sold in five packs for six ninety nine and
- 20:48Speaker 3: flavored with pineapple extract.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Uh oh, Target, thank you? Oh boy?
- 20:56Speaker 4: How many are you endorsing this product?
- 20:58Speaker 1: In?
- 20:59Speaker 2: No, but you are so weird you're acting all ten.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Is it going to be a Target one? Oh, you
- 21:06Speaker 2: can't come. Wait, you can't buy.
- 21:08Speaker 1: You can buy condoms at Target and those can be hilarious.
- 21:11Speaker 1: There's all kinds of things. Doesn't Target also sell vibratos?
- 21:17Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 21:19Speaker 5: Didn't they sell bathing suits for boys who wanted to
- 21:22Speaker 5: tuck there?
- 21:24Speaker 4: They did for a while.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Anyways, at targets.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Oh that's good, right, we'll take what from the jade egg.
- 21:38Speaker 5: Okay, So we have the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP,
- 21:43Speaker 5: and these funds are about to run out, so that
- 21:47Speaker 5: causes a problem for many many people in the US
- 21:52Speaker 5: because of the government shutdown, they will not receive this
- 21:55Speaker 5: money or the benefits from that program that will start
- 21:59Speaker 5: in November. November first. Well, door Dash has raised their
- 22:04Speaker 5: hand nobly, I believe in this circumstance deliver one million
- 22:10Speaker 5: free meals through food banks. And they are working with
- 22:15Speaker 5: all kinds of groups Dollar General, Sprouts, Giant Eagle, different
- 22:21Speaker 5: stores that they are going to get food from and
- 22:25Speaker 5: make sure they can get it into the mouths of
- 22:28Speaker 5: people that need it.
- 22:29Speaker 1: You know. The heart and the part that's heartbreaking here,
- 22:31Speaker 1: A million meals mean as wonderful as door Dash is
- 22:35Speaker 1: to do that, a million meals mean virtually nothing compared
- 22:40Speaker 1: to the tens of millions of people who need meals
- 22:45Speaker 1: every day, like three of them. Until the government gets
- 22:49Speaker 1: back into back into shape and we and we start
- 22:54Speaker 1: funding a SNAP and other programs where people can eat.
- 22:58Speaker 2: I mean, it's not a program.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Is people eating in the one of the wealthiest of
- 23:02Speaker 1: not the wealthiest country in the world.
- 23:04Speaker 5: Oh No, they're working on that at my son's school.
- 23:07Speaker 5: Parents are already going, hey, this is going to affect people.
- 23:10Speaker 5: Let's put together, you know, raise food.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Even Time magazine is kind of doing what Donald Trump wants,
- 23:22Speaker 3: or is it? So remember they released the cover photo
- 23:27Speaker 3: of their November tenth edition, and President Trump didn't like it.
- 23:32Speaker 3: It shows him kind of looking up skyward, makes him
- 23:36Speaker 3: look like he's kind of bald and really is not
- 23:38Speaker 3: very flattering with old neck. So he said, hey, I
- 23:42Speaker 3: hate that. It's the worst picture ever. And so they're
- 23:45Speaker 3: putting out a new one and they've renamed it. It
- 23:48Speaker 3: went from his triumph to Trump's world. Shows him sitting
- 23:53Speaker 3: on the resolute desk. His hands are kind of you know,
- 23:56Speaker 3: resting on his or his head's resting on his hands,
- 24:00Speaker 3: and so apparently that's much better.
- 24:04Speaker 2: But is it?
- 24:05Speaker 4: Because did you?
- 24:06Speaker 2: It doesn't even matter whether it is or is it.
- 24:09Speaker 1: It's the fact that he can call Time magazine and say,
- 24:11Speaker 1: change the cover.
- 24:12Speaker 2: I don't like the cover. You're doing right.
- 24:14Speaker 3: But he may not like the new one either because
- 24:19Speaker 3: it could be another swipe at him by Time, because
- 24:22Speaker 3: it's a very similar post to Arnold Newman's nineteen sixty
- 24:26Speaker 3: three photo of Alfred Krupp, who is a German industrialist
- 24:29Speaker 3: and now to war criminal, was supposed to be a
- 24:31Speaker 3: very controversial photo at the same time, and if you
- 24:33Speaker 3: compare the two next to each other, they look pretty similar.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Who knows that I had no idea? How many people
- 24:40Speaker 2: know who out Ford Krupp is.
- 24:42Speaker 1: I do because I'm a history and that he was
- 24:44Speaker 1: head of Krupp Industries, and there's a whole history.
- 24:46Speaker 2: There was much dog.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Do you know?
- 24:50Speaker 2: I don't know if Krupp had a dog. He didn't.
- 24:54Speaker 2: I know he sold armaments all over the world. Very
- 24:57Speaker 2: wealthy family, all right.
- 25:01Speaker 1: I can imagine the president being able to call Time
- 25:06Speaker 1: magazine And when does he call iHeart and say this
- 25:08Speaker 1: is the broadcast I want and they immediately cave.
- 25:11Speaker 5: I hope soon.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Yeah, well, for sure, you think I'd be around? Yeah,
- 25:16Speaker 1: probably because I make such an ass out of myself.
- 25:20Speaker 2: He likes it.
- 25:21Speaker 5: I think we're fine. So the Trump administration has been
- 25:25Speaker 5: ordering FBI employees around for to do some digging and
- 25:29Speaker 5: some investigations. The strange thing is, it's like weird stuff
- 25:36Speaker 5: like the disappearance of Jimmy Haffa.
- 25:40Speaker 2: And Amelia Earhart. That's another one they're going for.
- 25:43Speaker 5: So, I mean, just off the cuff here, doesn't it
- 25:48Speaker 5: seem like it's dig up anything but the Epstein Files.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Yeah, pretty much. Jimmy Hoffa disappears in nineteen seventy five.
- 25:56Speaker 1: There's another interesting figure. The guy makes it too. He
- 26:00Speaker 1: creates Teamsters Union, makes it the head of the Teamsters Union,
- 26:03Speaker 1: and it becomes a powerhouse.
- 26:05Speaker 2: And then he gets into bed with a mafia.
- 26:07Speaker 1: And if you look at the building of Las Vegas,
- 26:11Speaker 1: for example, in many ways it was mafia money that
- 26:16Speaker 1: was funded by the Teamsters that HOPFA was in the
- 26:19Speaker 1: middle of. So now they're releasing some or looking into
- 26:24Speaker 1: some new information as I don't know what they have
- 26:27Speaker 1: since nineteen seventy five.
- 26:28Speaker 2: I have no idea. All right, guys, we are finished.
