- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello gorgeous, it's Lala Kent. Welcome to Untraditionally Lala. Hello gorgeous,
- 0:08Speaker 1: welcome to the bonus episode of Untraditionally Lala. Hello mother.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Hello darling.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Hello TT, hello puppet.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Hello, hello puppet.
- 0:17Speaker 1: So because I was in straight struggle zone and have
- 0:21Speaker 1: been for like the longest, I'm just waiting for me
- 0:23Speaker 1: to feel like I don't need to be in hibernation.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Which I feel like happens as you're approaching the end
- 0:29Speaker 1: of the year, right?
- 0:30Speaker 3: Yes. Like— Holidays are approaching.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Yes. Like, we come off and into a brand new year,
- 0:38Speaker 1: and you're like the little engine that could. You're like, oh,
- 0:40Speaker 1: I'm coming off break. But then you get your power,
- 0:42Speaker 1: and you're like, oh, fuck yeah. We're, like, plugging right along.
- 0:45Speaker 1: And then when October hits, it's like— It's not even October.
- 0:49Speaker 3: It's September. Kids back in school.
- 0:51Speaker 1: I'm— 6.30.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Yes.
- 0:54Speaker 1: That's killing me, waking up at 6.30. Yeah. But for me,
- 0:58Speaker 1: it's not so much the school aspect. Like I'm pretty
- 1:01Speaker 1: good through September. It's when October hits that I'm like,
- 1:03Speaker 1: we're done here.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Let's call it a day. So I wanted to know
- 1:08Speaker 1: from my friends, aka my listeners, what is the biggest
- 1:14Speaker 1: struggle for you right now? What is your biggest struggle, mom?
- 1:18Speaker 3: I think my health. Your health?
- 1:20Speaker 1: Yeah. How are you feeling, by the way? Why don't
- 1:23Speaker 1: you update people?
- 1:24Speaker 3: When I don't take my medication, I still get tremors.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah.
- 1:29Speaker 3: And I get headaches. So I got a bunch of pills, vitamins.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:35Speaker 3: That I'm going to take and see if that helps.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Did you look it up to see what helps a headache?
- 1:39Speaker 1: Because you're getting a lot of water.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Tons of water. Yeah.
- 1:44Speaker 1: You've never had this much water in your whole life.
- 1:46Speaker 3: So I'm trying to amp up on dopamine.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:49Speaker 1: With your almonds and your aspartame.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Do you feel like you've been doing pretty well with
- 1:57Speaker 1: your workouts?
- 1:58Speaker 3: I start on tomorrow.
- 2:01Speaker 1: PT? Yeah. That's great. Yeah.
- 2:04Speaker 3: My legs are tired. Like, I just want to.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Feel good. Yeah. Can I tell you something, though? My
- 2:09Speaker 1: legs are always tired. It always feels like I have
- 2:13Speaker 1: run a marathon. Really? Yes.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Okay.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Even during my warm-up for working out, like, it's... The
- 2:22Speaker 1: easiest thing and my thighs are on fire. Like I
- 2:26Speaker 1: just ran really far.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Okay. Good to know. Now I won't feel so bad.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I think you should also implement either every week or
- 2:35Speaker 1: every other week a massage. You should be texting Vicky
- 2:37Speaker 1: and have a standing day where you do that.
- 2:39Speaker 3: I think so too.
- 2:40Speaker 1: That has to happen.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:42Speaker 1: You should text her today.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Because I'm very stiff.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Yes.
- 2:44Speaker 1: And you know what? You could even do it. You
- 2:46Speaker 1: could do it right before bed when like kids are down,
- 2:50Speaker 1: you could ask her, just say, you know, every other
- 2:52Speaker 1: Tuesday or whatever it may be. Can you come to
- 2:54Speaker 1: the house at this time? You just have a standing time.
- 2:56Speaker 3: I think that's a great idea.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Yeah. I think that's what you should do. Yes. Um,
- 3:01Speaker 1: so yours is health TT. Is there something that has
- 3:04Speaker 1: been a struggle for you?
- 3:05Speaker 2: Um, I won't say it's a struggle, but it's been,
- 3:09Speaker 2: I've been working on it and that's my patients.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Okay.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Okay.
- 3:13Speaker 2: That just life goes at its pace. And sometimes it's
- 3:17Speaker 2: just up to me to kind of fit in life
- 3:21Speaker 2: and that I can't control time. I can't control other
- 3:23Speaker 2: people's time to just sit back and relax. If that
- 3:27Speaker 2: makes sense. Cause it gives me anxiety, like time. So
- 3:31Speaker 2: I have ETA on the side. Oh, if anybody knew,
- 3:34Speaker 2: but yeah, estimated time of arrival because I'm so on time.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Like It's just a huge thing for me. Like, I
- 3:41Speaker 2: feel like if I wake up, I should be doing
- 3:44Speaker 2: something different. And it's like, no, you can wake up
- 3:46Speaker 2: and just get into the morning. So that's what I'm
- 3:49Speaker 2: working on. And I feel like I almost.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Feel badly calling you in the morning because for the
- 3:53Speaker 1: most part, it's like, yes, there are times where I'm like,
- 3:56Speaker 1: I really fucking need you this morning. But for the
- 3:59Speaker 1: most part, it's just that I've woken up and like,
- 4:02Speaker 1: I'm ready to be with my crew.
- 4:04Speaker 2: No, sometimes I will say me and mom have talked
- 4:06Speaker 2: about this. I'll wake up in my room and sit, chill.
- 4:10Speaker 2: I'll go down in my house and like, just hang out,
- 4:12Speaker 2: watch TV. Cause there are times where I would just
- 4:15Speaker 2: go over to your house. And I sometimes think like,
- 4:19Speaker 2: maybe you i want you to have like you and
- 4:22Speaker 2: your kids time does that that's how i feel yeah
- 4:25Speaker 2: so like mom even said like she'll stay in my
- 4:27Speaker 2: room a little bit longer because we just want to
- 4:31Speaker 2: give you your time with your kids in your space
- 4:33Speaker 2: so when you call to like come over i'm like
- 4:35Speaker 2: okay yeah i like the call.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Because i'm like i just don't want to add to
- 4:38Speaker 1: the pressure it's like i just i'm calling because i
- 4:40Speaker 1: want you to.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Come over like from my family at all this is
- 4:43Speaker 2: like even just me like When today I'm going to
- 4:46Speaker 2: go and do a whole bunch of things like right now,
- 4:48Speaker 2: it's my time. And I'm like, well, what if I'm
- 4:50Speaker 2: missing out on something with you guys? You know, like
- 4:55Speaker 2: I just have to relax. Time is what it is.
- 4:57Speaker 2: I'll fit in life when I can.
- 4:59Speaker 1: I'm working on that too. Yeah. Or like I'm thinking
- 5:04Speaker 1: a million miles ahead and it's like, when have you
- 5:05Speaker 1: ever not gotten something done?
- 5:07Speaker 2: Yes.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Like when the time comes. You'll get it done.
- 5:09Speaker 2: I'll get it done.
- 5:10Speaker 1: I don't need to know what I need to get
- 5:12Speaker 1: done on a Sunday because there's nothing to be done.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Yeah. So like that's mine because just like patience, just time, patience,
- 5:19Speaker 2: and breathing through them.
- 5:21Speaker 3: You get to my age and it's like, I got
- 5:24Speaker 3: all the time in the world. If I don't get
- 5:25Speaker 3: it done right now, I can get it done in
- 5:27Speaker 3: an hour.
- 5:28Speaker 1: That's nice. You've always been that way though.
- 5:31Speaker 2: When you get to this age, well, Lisa, you're like
- 5:33Speaker 2: a golden girl.
- 5:34Speaker 1: You've been living in the golden age for your whole life.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I have.
- 5:40Speaker 2: It's okay to say yes.
- 5:41Speaker 1: This person said trying to balance motherhood of a toddler
- 5:45Speaker 1: and deciding on baby number two. That's their biggest struggle
- 5:47Speaker 1: right now.
- 5:48Speaker 2: How could you help out with this one?
- 5:51Speaker 1: Gosh, I don't even know because here's the thing. I've
- 5:53Speaker 1: always been told there's no right time to have a baby, right? Yeah.
- 5:57Speaker 1: And like I had.
- 5:59Speaker 3: I think the longer you go, the harder it gets.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Well, yeah, because then you've got a kid who's self-sufficient
- 6:06Speaker 1: and you're basically starting over.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Over.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, I look at Sosa right now and
- 6:10Speaker 1: I'm like, you're two. If I really did want another baby...
- 6:14Speaker 1: But if you wait.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Until they're seven, it's kind of like you got a
- 6:17Speaker 2: built-in babysitter.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Babysitter, that's also true. But they still have places to
- 6:21Speaker 1: go and be and like.
- 6:24Speaker 3: And Seven's a little young for a built-in movie.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Well, I'm saying, like, not leave them at home.
- 6:28Speaker 1: No, but think about how helpful Ocean is.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Yeah, like Ocean and Sosa just go and... Like, I'm
- 6:31Speaker 2: not leaving.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Sosa together while I, like, catch a movie.
- 6:33Speaker 3: You're not?
- 6:35Speaker 2: No.
- 6:35Speaker 1: But it's like, Ocean, can you get.
- 6:37Speaker 2: They play in her room. They play... Like, they just play.
- 6:40Speaker 2: You can do your own thing. So it's kind of
- 6:41Speaker 2: nice having them at a close age.
- 6:44Speaker 3: But at the same time, there's a little, like, strife
- 6:50Speaker 3: going on. I don't know the word I want to say,
- 6:52Speaker 3: but because Sosa... will color on Ocean's projects when she
- 6:57Speaker 3: leaves it out.
- 6:58Speaker 1: But we had a talk about that yesterday and I
- 7:01Speaker 1: was like, Ocean, you have to understand your sister wants
- 7:05Speaker 1: to color too. And she doesn't know that this is
- 7:07Speaker 1: your art project that you've worked really hard on or
- 7:10Speaker 1: if it's just a piece of paper. So if it's
- 7:12Speaker 1: that important to you while she's still young, you have
- 7:15Speaker 1: to put it somewhere safe. And you also, if she's
- 7:17Speaker 1: coloring something on something, you can't just like claim every
- 7:21Speaker 1: sheet of paper or... you know, page of the coloring book. Like,
- 7:25Speaker 1: she has to be able to play, too. And she
- 7:27Speaker 1: did understand. I'm like, if it's important, you need to
- 7:30Speaker 1: put it away.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Good, good.
- 7:33Speaker 2: I always think you should have two kids because I
- 7:35Speaker 2: know people that have one child.
- 7:37Speaker 1: It's a lot.
- 7:38Speaker 2: And the children....
- 7:40Speaker 1: Demand a lot.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Well, not only that, but then they grow up and
- 7:43Speaker 2: they're like, I wish I had a sibling. You learn
- 7:46Speaker 2: how to share. I definitely think.
- 7:48Speaker 3: You should have at least two kids.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Like Ocean right now is learning how to share, not
- 7:52Speaker 2: through other people at school and being, because then you
- 7:55Speaker 2: come home and then everything's yours again. So it's like,
- 7:57Speaker 2: it's very hard to figure out. And I'm sorry. I know,
- 8:01Speaker 2: you know, just a one child in the family and
- 8:05Speaker 2: they are rough. Yeah.
- 8:08Speaker 1: No, I love having two kids. But I do understand
- 8:11Speaker 1: the balancing motherhood because then if you're deciding on baby
- 8:13Speaker 1: number two, you don't know how the pregnancy is going
- 8:15Speaker 1: to go. You've got to chase them around. You could
- 8:17Speaker 1: have morning sickness. You could be sick your entire pregnancy
- 8:21Speaker 1: like Brittany was.
- 8:22Speaker 2: But guess what? That's not her reality.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I love when you say that.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Her reality is going to be perfect.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Yeah. My kids are three and a half years apart
- 8:29Speaker 1: and it is perfect.
- 8:31Speaker 3: And see, you guys were two years and five months
- 8:33Speaker 3: and I thought that was perfect.
- 8:34Speaker 1: This is great. I love this.
- 8:36Speaker 2: No, the one thing that I will say that I'll
- 8:37Speaker 2: try to do, I think it's ninth grade though, like
- 8:40Speaker 2: high school, but I loved, ours was 10th, 11th and
- 8:43Speaker 2: 12th for high school into the new school. And I
- 8:46Speaker 2: liked being in 10th grade and you being a senior.
- 8:48Speaker 2: So we at least went to school together, at least like.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Went to school together through elementary school, junior high and
- 8:54Speaker 1: high school. Yeah.
- 8:55Speaker 2: But you had two years where you were at a
- 8:56Speaker 2: different school, but then I got to come in and
- 8:59Speaker 2: we had one year together at Churchill and then one
- 9:01Speaker 2: year at Skyline.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Yep. Work from home. Mom trying to keep an 18
- 9:07Speaker 1: month old occupied while I try to work is exhausting.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Oh, you are seen, sweetheart. Holy shit.
- 9:16Speaker 1: I'm telling you. I think being a stay at home
- 9:19Speaker 1: mom period is the hardest job on the planet. It is.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Yeah. Especially when you have to get other things done.
- 9:25Speaker 1: And now you're not only, you're a stay at home
- 9:27Speaker 1: mom who works from home. You're like a superhero. That
- 9:31Speaker 1: is so hard. Like when I'm podcasting from home and
- 9:33Speaker 1: I've got kids coming in and out and wanting to
- 9:36Speaker 1: talk to me about whatever grievances they.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Want to air.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I'm like, can we discuss this when I finish? I know, mom,
- 9:44Speaker 1: but you never do this with me. I'm like, all right,
- 9:47Speaker 1: I got it. And 18 months, that's when they're on
- 9:50Speaker 1: the move.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Yes.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Yeah, that is a struggle. This person said morning sickness.
- 9:55Speaker 1: That is rough. I hope it's like you don't have
- 9:59Speaker 1: another child to take care of. of because morning sickness
- 10:01Speaker 1: is brutal. It's like being car sick.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Oh, I remember when I was sick with you.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Is that help?
- 10:09Speaker 1: Can I tell you what they use for it? That
- 10:12Speaker 1: is Unisom.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Okay.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Okay. And that makes you go to sleep. Well, so
- 10:17Speaker 1: does Dramamine. Perfect. But it, like, makes you go to sleep.
- 10:19Speaker 2: I'd rather do that than feel like shit.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Can I tell you, I had morning sickness I'll never forget.
- 10:23Speaker 3: I was driving to Bountiful.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Which was 25 miles from my house. Oh, my gosh.
- 10:28Speaker 3: And I barfed in my lap. I was pregnant with you.
- 10:31Speaker 1: And then what did you do?
- 10:32Speaker 3: I had to pull over and go home.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Oh. Yummy.
- 10:36Speaker 1: You had to drive yourself home covered in vomit? Mm-hmm.
- 10:40Speaker 1: That was awful.
- 10:41Speaker 2: You know what? I'd rather be driving home in vomit
- 10:44Speaker 2: knowing I'm going to change than going somewhere feeling sick.
- 10:47Speaker 3: What do you mean?
- 10:48Speaker 2: Like if she didn't vomit where.
- 10:50Speaker 1: She was going.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Did you feel better?
- 10:52Speaker 2: Hell yeah. There's nothing like a good vomit.
- 10:55Speaker 1: You know, I had morning sickness with both of my kids,
- 10:57Speaker 1: but never actually tossed my cookies. It was always just
- 11:03Speaker 1: feeling very nauseous.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Oh, I would have stuck my fingers down my throat
- 11:07Speaker 2: and made something come out.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. I'm scared for my future. I am a
- 11:11Speaker 1: senior in college and don't know what I want to
- 11:13Speaker 1: do in life. My love.
- 11:15Speaker 2: I'm 33 and in your boat.
- 11:19Speaker 1: The amount of pressure we put on these kids when
- 11:23Speaker 1: it comes to high school and knowing where you want
- 11:27Speaker 1: to go to college and what you want to major
- 11:29Speaker 1: in and what is your future like, it's like, I
- 11:32Speaker 1: don't know.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Is that a senior in high school or college?
- 11:34Speaker 1: Yes, and then I'm saying by the time you graduate,
- 11:37Speaker 1: you're what, 22, 23, and you're expected to know what
- 11:40Speaker 1: field you want to go into?
- 11:41Speaker 3: Your frontal lobe hasn't even fully developed.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Exactly. The amount of pressure this person is under. Like,
- 11:51Speaker 1: I'm sure they are listening, but like, take some air
- 11:57Speaker 1: out of the tires. You don't have to know. Do
- 11:59Speaker 1: you know the amount of People who I know who
- 12:02Speaker 1: went to college, got degrees, they don't use their degree
- 12:06Speaker 1: in any capacity. Just take a step back, and it's
- 12:11Speaker 1: not that serious.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Can I tell you? I picked my job as in
- 12:16Speaker 3: a dental office because I only worked four days a week.
- 12:19Speaker 2: That's the only reason.
- 12:21Speaker 1: I love that.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Well, when I first started out, it was four. Then
- 12:24Speaker 3: I went to three. That's why.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I love that. Most people don't think... this person is
- 12:30Speaker 1: a senior in college and feeling the exact same way
- 12:33Speaker 1: that I'm feeling at the age of 36.
- 12:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Where I'm like, I'm scared for my future. I don't
- 12:40Speaker 1: know what I want out of life. And there's like,
- 12:44Speaker 1: I don't know if it's like the generations that came
- 12:47Speaker 1: after you where we think this way, but I do
- 12:52Speaker 1: want with my kids to let them know like you
- 12:55Speaker 1: have time just because you're graduating from high school, I
- 12:58Speaker 1: don't need you to know what you want to do.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Just be, if you choose to go to college, just
- 13:02Speaker 1: because you're graduating from college, you don't need to know
- 13:05Speaker 1: what you want to do because guess what? You figure
- 13:08Speaker 1: it out. Then life throws you a curve ball and
- 13:10Speaker 1: it's completely different. You have zero control. I just want
- 13:14Speaker 1: you to like relax. Obviously don't think that things are
- 13:17Speaker 1: just going to be handed to you, but like live
- 13:19Speaker 1: in the moment.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Because I like that live in the moment.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Yes. Because there's going to, you're going to be fine.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Yep.
- 13:25Speaker 1: You're going to be fine. You're going to figure it out.
- 13:28Speaker 1: You're going to find your partner. You're going to have kids.
- 13:32Speaker 1: And life just happens.
- 13:34Speaker 3: It sure does.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Right?
- 13:36Speaker 3: With no predictions.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Biggest struggle right now, my mother-in-law.
- 13:45Speaker 2: I don't have one, thank God.
- 13:48Speaker 3: That's tough.
- 13:50Speaker 1: I mean, the movies like Monster-in-Law exist for a reason.
- 13:54Speaker 1: They are difficult. Very. We're wishing you luck. By the way, though,
- 14:00Speaker 1: that's going to be on my list. I was talking
- 14:03Speaker 1: to Amber on last week's episode of Unlikely. And we're
- 14:09Speaker 1: putting together a list of like our non-negotiables, what we want,
- 14:15Speaker 1: and then like our dream man and a part of
- 14:17Speaker 1: that list. Is going to be the family units must connect.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Because I need to be able to say, like, where
- 14:26Speaker 1: are we spending Christmas together? What are we doing for Thanksgiving? Like,
- 14:31Speaker 1: I just want a house full of people and families.
- 14:35Speaker 3: I like that, too.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Yes. Like, that would be my dream. Mine, too. Not
- 14:41Speaker 1: getting married, but like a commitment ceremony with like a
- 14:43Speaker 1: tiny little tot, maybe a boy running around where it's
- 14:46Speaker 1: like you and his mom are like thick as thieves.
- 14:49Speaker 1: You guys can call each other.
- 14:50Speaker 3: I love that.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Isn't that so fun?
- 14:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:53Speaker 1: I want that.
- 14:54Speaker 3: I want that.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Biggest struggle right now, money. Oh.
- 14:59Speaker 2: That's life.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Can I tell you though, there's no stress like a
- 15:03Speaker 1: money stress. There's nothing you can do about it.
- 15:06Speaker 2: No, especially when gas keeps going up, everything keeps going
- 15:08Speaker 2: up and you're pay is the same you know.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Yeah it's fucked up yeah and i wish that there
- 15:15Speaker 1: was something i could money too by the way i
- 15:18Speaker 1: need to go through my subscriptions and cancel a bunch
- 15:22Speaker 1: because the bundling i have like four different disney accounts
- 15:26Speaker 1: i just signed up for that on your phone youtube.
- 15:29Speaker 3: The subs what Subscriptions. Is it on your phone?
- 15:32Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 15:33Speaker 2: I got to ask.
- 15:34Speaker 1: I know. But now I've got YouTube that has HBO
- 15:37Speaker 1: because I wanted the Sunday ticket so I can watch
- 15:39Speaker 1: the Ravens games and not through just the red zone.
- 15:42Speaker 2: I don't know if you can do it through chat
- 15:43Speaker 2: GPT or, but Google Gemini, I saw a commercial and
- 15:48Speaker 2: in the commercial they were like, they asked Gemini to
- 15:50Speaker 2: go through and see all their subscriptions. And what Google
- 15:53Speaker 2: did was go into their, um, email.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Hmm.
- 15:57Speaker 2: And filtered the email and went like confirmation codes. And
- 16:00Speaker 2: it said how many they were paying for. And then
- 16:02Speaker 2: he could go through and like, it's ridiculous. So chat
- 16:05Speaker 2: GPT might be a good way or Google.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Let's do that because I don't even want to know
- 16:09Speaker 1: how much I'm spending each month on these fucking subscriptions.
- 16:12Speaker 2: I'm over $ 500 in just TV.
- 16:14Speaker 1: That is ridiculous.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Well, I have to be because I pay for the
- 16:17Speaker 2: live TV at home and it's that in itself is
- 16:20Speaker 2: over 200 and something dollars with all of the things
- 16:24Speaker 2: that I get so we can watch movies.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:25Speaker 1: And then I have all of the subscriptions at the
- 16:28Speaker 1: LA house and then I pay for it.
- 16:29Speaker 3: And then I pay $ 7. 99 for mine.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Oh, geez.
- 16:33Speaker 1: What I would give for a $ 7. 99. You're paying for Netflix.
- 16:36Speaker 2: We're living in the same house. We should cancel them.
- 16:38Speaker 1: I'm paying for Netflix in that house and in Palm Springs.
- 16:41Speaker 1: A whole new thing. NFL Network shit.
- 16:44Speaker 2: $ 7.
- 16:44Speaker 3: 99 for my room.
- 16:47Speaker 2: We need help. Yeah, we do. Wait, isn't it Rocket something?
- 16:51Speaker 1: Rocket money.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Hey, rocket money, come to help us.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Help me. Help me get rid of my subscriptions and
- 16:58Speaker 1: also pay me to do an ad. Oh, I love
- 17:14Speaker 1: this one because I relate. Keeping the dang house clean.
- 17:17Speaker 1: I cannot. I went to bed, the sink, all dishes done.
- 17:22Speaker 1: I come down this morning. I'm like, what are all
- 17:24Speaker 1: these fucking dishes?
- 17:26Speaker 3: I loaded the dishwasher.
- 17:27Speaker 2: It was Lauren, probably from her cheeseburger.
- 17:30Speaker 1: No, it's it's Sosa's little bin with all the like stuff.
- 17:34Speaker 1: I'm like, where is this coming from? I've got dishes
- 17:37Speaker 1: coming out of my ears. Every time I come into
- 17:40Speaker 1: the room, I've cleaned up in arts and crafts, which
- 17:42Speaker 1: you too, you said you cleaned Ocean's room four times yesterday.
- 17:44Speaker 2: No, we need to start making.
- 17:46Speaker 1: I told her I said because it was in her
- 17:49Speaker 1: room and then the bomb went off down the hallway
- 17:52Speaker 1: into the family room. I said, here's the deal. And
- 17:54Speaker 1: I'm not playing with you. I am setting a timer.
- 17:57Speaker 1: If in 20 minutes your room is not clean and
- 18:00Speaker 1: this area, it will all be thrown away.
- 18:03Speaker 2: And I'm not joking.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Or given away.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 18:05Speaker 1: It won't belong to you anymore. So she was busy
- 18:08Speaker 1: as a little bee getting all.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Her stuff cleaned up.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Well, I was talking to Easton.
- 18:10Speaker 3: I said, oh, Easton, this will be easier. I said,
- 18:13Speaker 3: we'll just toss it.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Throw it in garbage bags and give it away. And
- 18:16Speaker 2: she started going. But there is going to be a
- 18:18Speaker 2: time where I think you guys need to throw things
- 18:20Speaker 2: in a garbage bag, act like it went somewhere, bring
- 18:22Speaker 2: it to my house, put it in the garage or something.
- 18:24Speaker 2: And when she starts to clean up, she gets those
- 18:26Speaker 2: things back.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Because I don't clean, but I only watch you guys
- 18:31Speaker 2: and you're always cleaning.
- 18:32Speaker 1: I'm exhausted.
- 18:33Speaker 3: And last night I started the dishwasher and put the
- 18:36Speaker 3: dishes away. So I don't know what.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I had some plates that came down last night, but
- 18:42Speaker 1: it wasn't that. It was like the stuff I hand
- 18:44Speaker 1: wash for Sosa where it was more shit in the sink.
- 18:47Speaker 1: It's fine. It's not a big deal. I just relate
- 18:48Speaker 1: to this person.
- 18:50Speaker 2: You want it clean.
- 18:52Speaker 1: I relate to so many of these, you guys. Being
- 18:54Speaker 1: stuck between wanting to find my happily ever after or
- 18:58Speaker 1: just say fuck it and live my life. Like, same.
- 19:02Speaker 3: Did you write that?
- 19:03Speaker 1: I feel like I wrote most of these.
- 19:05Speaker 2: I know.
- 19:06Speaker 1: I feel for this person. These fucking period cramps. I
- 19:10Speaker 1: get it. I've got two good weeks a fucking month
- 19:13Speaker 1: because my PMS makes me want to drive off of
- 19:16Speaker 1: a cliff. Then the period hits and I'm sobbing and
- 19:19Speaker 1: need like a fucking diaper. I'm like, enough already. And
- 19:22Speaker 1: then it's over and I'm like, I'm so happy. I
- 19:25Speaker 1: feel great. I'm like.
- 19:26Speaker 3: But doesn't it make you feel good that other people
- 19:28Speaker 3: are going through the same things? You're not alone.
- 19:29Speaker 1: That's why we do this for the bonus though. So
- 19:31Speaker 1: that we can all just like relate.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Feel like we're not alone. Yes.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Misery loves company. I'm telling you what.
- 19:37Speaker 2: And I'm fucking miserable.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Damn it.
- 19:39Speaker 1: My weight. I've been struggling for a while now and
- 19:41Speaker 1: I feel defeated.
- 19:42Speaker 2: I can feel that because.
- 19:47Speaker 1: You cannot relate to that in any capacity.
- 19:50Speaker 2: And it really is like, I can only imagine what
- 19:52Speaker 2: it is like to lose weight. I try to put
- 19:54Speaker 2: on weight. I can't put on weight. I'm eating. I
- 19:56Speaker 2: do things. I feel I ate so much one day
- 19:58Speaker 2: that I literally went over to my house and threw
- 20:00Speaker 2: up in the toilet. And I was like, I can't
- 20:02Speaker 2: eat that much. I can't put on weight. I looked
- 20:04Speaker 2: at my family, things like that. And I'm sorry. There is,
- 20:07Speaker 2: I want to put on weight as bad as they
- 20:09Speaker 2: want to lose weight. I want to put it on.
- 20:10Speaker 2: It's a two way street. So I feel it.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Yes, there are my, there are options. A GLP-1, but
- 20:18Speaker 1: also I think, was it Weight Watchers that I think
- 20:22Speaker 1: has such a perfect formula to this, the point system?
- 20:28Speaker 1: Don't you think?
- 20:29Speaker 3: Yes.
- 20:30Speaker 1: You don't deprive yourself of anything. It tells you if
- 20:32Speaker 1: you want that piece of cake, you have this many
- 20:34Speaker 1: points to use. That's going to take up 20 of them.
- 20:37Speaker 1: You've only got 40 more left. Do you want the
- 20:39Speaker 1: whole piece of cake or maybe we just have a
- 20:40Speaker 1: bite of it? I find that to be a very
- 20:44Speaker 1: healthy way of doing things, the point system.
- 20:46Speaker 3: And there's Jenny Craig where they prepackage meals.
- 20:50Speaker 1: For you too. Prepackage meals. The thing is, and I
- 20:53Speaker 1: don't know if this will help because I personally have
- 20:56Speaker 1: never struggled with weight loss. Like I genetically just haven't.
- 21:02Speaker 1: I have had times where I'm like, I feel very
- 21:04Speaker 1: thin and I don't feel womanly and my clothes are
- 21:07Speaker 1: baggy and I can just, I feel like people are
- 21:09Speaker 1: looking at me like feed this woman.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Like as a guy, like I think people are looking
- 21:13Speaker 2: at me from the back, looking at my like little
- 21:15Speaker 2: elbows and stuff, you know, and they look and I just,
- 21:17Speaker 2: I'm self-conscious too. We all are self-conscious in our own way.
- 21:20Speaker 2: That's the beauty of this is we're all self-conscious. Yeah.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree. But I want to validate this person.
- 21:27Speaker 1: I've been struggling for a while now and I feel defeated.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Like I think everyone goes through those moments of feeling defeated.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Maybe have like a little like ceremony for yourself where
- 21:37Speaker 1: it's like you can thank every part of your body
- 21:42Speaker 1: because if you really think about it, you've always said, mom,
- 21:45Speaker 1: your health without it, you have nothing. Nope. So, like,
- 21:51Speaker 1: thank your body for what it does for you. And then, like,
- 21:54Speaker 1: have a cutting of the cord where it's like, we're
- 21:57Speaker 1: now going to make changes. And my mind and body
- 22:00Speaker 1: are going to work together to make that happen. And
- 22:02Speaker 1: I'm going to fucking do it.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:05Speaker 1: The mind is a powerful thing. Yep. Balancing trying to
- 22:10Speaker 1: enjoy holidays again, but still not used to my mom
- 22:13Speaker 1: not being here. That's brutal. Brutal. Mm-hmm.
- 22:18Speaker 3: You guys relate with dad not being here.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Only time is going to be able to heal that.
- 22:24Speaker 1: But even now, like, even football, when we watch, I, like,
- 22:26Speaker 1: still go back to, like.
- 22:28Speaker 2: No, yeah, dad downstairs.
- 22:29Speaker 3: Growing up, yeah.
- 22:30Speaker 2: It's like, it's what it was.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Teaching my daughter to drive as a single mom, that
- 22:45Speaker 1: sounds terrifying. Oh, shit. Do you imagine? No.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Thank God I don't have to.
- 22:51Speaker 1: I'm wildly unhappy with my son's father.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Baby daddy.
- 22:56Speaker 3: Another relatable moment.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Yeah. It's not called baby mama drama. It's called baby
- 23:01Speaker 1: daddy drama because you guys cause the shit. We just react. Yep.
- 23:06Speaker 1: All right. You may be the little waves, but we're
- 23:09Speaker 1: the fucking storm that comes. So don't fuck around and
- 23:12Speaker 1: find out, buddy. Fuck around and find out. Fake and
- 23:17Speaker 1: selfish people just feeling so unappreciated by the people around me.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Get to burning the bridges or have a productive conversation
- 23:25Speaker 1: because I have many people, not many, I've had people
- 23:28Speaker 1: in my life where I really enjoy them. They fill
- 23:30Speaker 1: my cup, but sometimes I feel like it's a one-way
- 23:32Speaker 1: street and I have voiced this to them. And then
- 23:37Speaker 1: it's like, I'm so happy you said something. Like, I
- 23:39Speaker 1: want to show up for you. That's not my intention
- 23:41Speaker 1: and I'm so sorry.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:43Speaker 3: You know? She should have a conversation.
- 23:45Speaker 1: You should have the conversation. My estranged mother died on Friday.
- 23:49Speaker 1: I will never get the closure I need.
- 23:52Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 23:53Speaker 2: I think you got to write it out on paper
- 23:56Speaker 2: and give it to the wind or put it in
- 24:00Speaker 2: the ocean. Something to get it off of your chest
- 24:03Speaker 2: and put it out there where you believe she will
- 24:07Speaker 2: see it.
- 24:08Speaker 1: You know what? I love that you just said that.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Because for dad, I would do it in the beach
- 24:12Speaker 2: or into the ocean if I felt that need, you know?
- 24:15Speaker 1: You can't put it in the ocean. It's littering.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Well, life is just, you know, put it on a...
- 24:22Speaker 2: I would do it on a biodegradable golf ball. Right
- 24:26Speaker 2: on the golf ball. Throw a biodegradable.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Boom!
- 24:30Speaker 3: Are there biodegradable golf balls?
- 24:32Speaker 1: I don't think so. What I would do if I
- 24:33Speaker 1: were her is like.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Because so many people hit them into like lakes and
- 24:36Speaker 2: things like that who on the... So instead, they just
- 24:38Speaker 2: Dissolve into the water.
- 24:39Speaker 1: It's not like hitting a nice golf ball. I'm pretty
- 24:42Speaker 1: sure that is 100% false. I think there are many
- 24:46Speaker 1: a golf ball in the ponds and lakes.
- 24:48Speaker 2: This is not on the golf course, yes.
- 24:51Speaker 1: No. Google it. You know what, though? I like where
- 24:54Speaker 1: your head's at. I think she should write it down.
- 24:56Speaker 1: She should also have like the little ceremony. Wow, first
- 24:58Speaker 1: thing that.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Pops up, biodegradable golf balls, 4.5.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Okay, so you have to get a biodegradable golf ball. Yes,
- 25:03Speaker 1: but like... I'm sure she has a lot more to
- 25:06Speaker 1: write than what's just going to.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Fit on a golf ball, Easton. They probably come in
- 25:09Speaker 2: more than just one golf ball. You might have to
- 25:11Speaker 2: use 20 of them, but.
- 25:12Speaker 1: No, just write it on a piece of paper, have
- 25:14Speaker 1: a ceremony, and light it on fire.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Oh, like they do with those things that they push up.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Mm-hmm, exactly. Having so many.
- 25:21Speaker 3: There's that Rise Festival she could go to.
- 25:24Speaker 1: You should go to the Rise Festival, babe.
- 25:26Speaker 2: That's what I was thinking of. Yes.
- 25:28Speaker 1: In the desert in just outside of Las Vegas. That
- 25:34Speaker 1: is a great idea. That's what she should do.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Isn't it coming up?
- 25:37Speaker 1: No, it just passed.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Okay.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Having so many bills with a job who isn't giving
- 25:42Speaker 1: me a better pay raise when I put work in.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Fuck the man, dude.
- 25:46Speaker 3: Fuck the man.
- 25:47Speaker 1: My baby's four-month sleep regression. There's nothing that will depress
- 25:51Speaker 1: you more than lack of sleep. How expensive it is
- 25:56Speaker 1: to be alive. I know. They're trying to charge us
- 25:59Speaker 1: to breathe. It really does. When I think about it,
- 26:01Speaker 1: I'm like, I have to pay to do every single
- 26:04Speaker 1: thing on the planet. And like you said, you want
- 26:06Speaker 1: to have a night in? Well, then your lights are on.
- 26:09Speaker 1: You're using water, power, gas. Got to eat.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Got to eat.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Like no matter what, you got to pay money. You
- 26:17Speaker 1: want to watch something? We're going to need you to.
- 26:19Speaker 3: Pay for it. And the house payments are growing.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Every time I leave the house, I somehow end up
- 26:25Speaker 2: spending at least $ 50 for no reason.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Oh, a minimum. Are you kidding?
- 26:29Speaker 2: It's usually around a hundred and it's not even things
- 26:31Speaker 2: I need. It's like, okay, well I got to stop
- 26:32Speaker 2: and get gas. Oh, dog food.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Oh, this.
- 26:35Speaker 2: By the time I spent the money, I'm like, wow,
- 26:37Speaker 2: shouldn't have left the house.
- 26:40Speaker 1: For real though. Today's a fasting day. Resetting the body
- 26:44Speaker 1: and mind. Entering cold and flu season as someone who
- 26:47Speaker 1: has severe phobia of being sick.
- 26:50Speaker 2: It's not your reality.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Not your reality. What I highly recommend is colloidal silver spray.
- 26:55Speaker 3: And wellness pills.
- 26:57Speaker 1: And health and wellness pills. I also take zinc and
- 27:01Speaker 1: vitamin A, which I love the combination of that.
- 27:04Speaker 3: And vitamin C.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Vitamin C is a great one. I usually only put
- 27:08Speaker 1: that on my skin, but I should be consuming it
- 27:10Speaker 1: as well. That's what I'm into. Oh, and elderberry. Yeah.
- 27:14Speaker 1: I'm a holistic kind of bitch. My three-year-old girl tantrums.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Nothing funnier than a kid tantruming. Taking everything not to
- 27:25Speaker 1: throw a tantrum back at her. Have you seen that
- 27:28Speaker 1: video of like the millennial moms checking their kids to
- 27:31Speaker 1: show how much pettier they can be?
- 27:33Speaker 2: Yes, because of you.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't like you. I don't like you more.
- 27:37Speaker 1: I'm going to stay cool then. I'm going to stay cooler. Okay, bro.
- 27:40Speaker 1: All right, sis. So good.
- 27:43Speaker 2: No, that's the one thing that I have to catch
- 27:45Speaker 2: myself on when I am arguing with your daughter. Like,
- 27:49Speaker 2: I'm the adult. I am the adult. I cannot fucking
- 27:51Speaker 2: do that. Sometimes I do it, though.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Oh, sometimes I get real Vanderpump Rules lala on her ass.
- 27:58Speaker 1: That's for sure. I'm like... She can take it, though.
- 28:01Speaker 1: You better recognize.
- 28:02Speaker 2: She was built for it.
- 28:03Speaker 1: She was built for it.
- 28:04Speaker 2: She handles it and sometimes... After I give it to
- 28:09Speaker 2: her and I'm like, I won. She'll say one thing
- 28:11Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh, wow.
- 28:12Speaker 1: To put you right in your grave.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Yes, and then I kind of just go over to
- 28:14Speaker 2: my own house.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Oh, I told you. Even her teachers are like, she's
- 28:19Speaker 1: got some grit to her. She does.
- 28:21Speaker 3: She's an old soul for sure.
- 28:23Speaker 1: One more thing that I want to say about Ocean
- 28:25Speaker 1: before we sign off. So they have uniforms and you
- 28:28Speaker 1: have to stick to the colors, right? And she wore
- 28:30Speaker 1: leopard shoes. And she said to the teacher... that her
- 28:36Speaker 1: leopard shoes are a neutral, which I've told her leopard
- 28:38Speaker 1: shoes are a neutral. So she relayed that to her
- 28:40Speaker 1: teacher and her teacher obviously had a rebuttal. And Ocean
- 28:44Speaker 1: politely asked her, you know, if there is a problem
- 28:47Speaker 1: with my shoes, can you please talk to my mom
- 28:49Speaker 1: about it? So I go to parent teacher conference. The
- 28:51Speaker 1: teachers are so sweet and cool and I love them.
- 28:56Speaker 1: But before I get there, I had taken her to
- 28:58Speaker 1: school and she said to me, are you going to
- 29:01Speaker 1: talk to my teachers today about my shoes? And I
- 29:03Speaker 1: was like, yeah, of course. She said, you know, I'd
- 29:06Speaker 1: really like you to ask them, mom, why I can't
- 29:09Speaker 1: wear leopard shoes, but girls can come to school with
- 29:12Speaker 1: pink and blue hair. Because those are not a part
- 29:14Speaker 1: of our uniform colors.
- 29:16Speaker 3: I love that.
- 29:16Speaker 1: And I didn't have an answer. So I walk in.
- 29:18Speaker 1: The teacher's like, we got to talk about the shoes.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Ocean asked me yesterday, are you going to talk to
- 29:23Speaker 1: my mom about the shoes? And I asked her straight up, like,
- 29:26Speaker 1: how do I have that conversation with her? And? They
